Now, I tend to write super long pieces, but even that's not enough to dive into all of the nitty gritty that it takes to go from innovation to impact. So we're launching the podcast Age of Miracles. We're going to do 10 episode seasons in a narrative format, talking to experts and insiders and investors and founders and people inside of government about all the nitty gritty that goes into building this Age of Miracles. The first season, we're starting at the very base, the thing that drives civilization forward, energy, and more specifically, nuclear fission and fusion energy.
0:47Nuclear energy has become a lot more popular recently, but as it stands, there are no new large nuclear projects being built in America. The last one that we did, Vogel, took$31 billion over two reactors. But figuring out how to build more nuclear is critical if we want the kind of future I know that I want. Each season, I'm going to bring on a co-host who actually knows what they're talking about. For season one, I could not be more excited to be partnering with Julia DeWall. Julia is the co-founder of a nuclear startup, and before that, she worked on Starlink at SpaceX, so she knows a thing or two about building hard things.
1:24We have a lot of really interesting startups that are taking on different forms of reactors, SMRs, and then there's fusion. We're going to discuss, is this the new frontier? energy is at the base of so much of our civilization. So couldn't be more thrilled to be doing this with you, Paki. I could not be more excited for Age of Miracles. We're dropping episodes one and two on October 27. Search for Age of Miracles on YouTube, in Spotify, or wherever you like to listen to podcasts. Go like, subscribe, smash, and we'll see you on Age of Miracles.
