In short
The episode discusses using Claude/ChatGPT to build modern, local SEO-optimized websites for service businesses and agencies that sell these services.
Guests
Jamie (host) shares personal experiences building an Airbnb/property-management site and getting an appointment from Google rankings; he also mentions a local cleaner (“Third Coast Cleaners”) who built a Claude site, ranks on Google, and outsources cleaning to stay-at-home moms.
Key claims
AI can overhaul ugly sites quickly (about 1–2 hours with templates), but ranking requires ongoing weekly SEO audits using Google Search Console/logs and adding content pages; pairing with an active Google Business Profile and reviews helps.
Notable examples
Third Coast Cleaners; a meme about a “Claude code” barbershop site; Jamie’s Airbnb management website with an Airbnb earnings calculator API plugin; dentist websites with outdated HTML layouts.

Number one, if you have a local business, this is a great opportunity. Or number two, you can have an agency selling to local businesses, creating their websites using AI. There's a ton of opportunity. Jamie has some interesting experiences this week. I've seen some hilarious memes over on X. We're going to get into all of it. But kicking this over to you, Jamie, what have you seen this week on local businesses and AI? Yeah, so this is really, I think there's a ton of untapped potential here still when it comes to service-based businesses and creating a modern website that is SEO optimized.
0:39There's a lot of people still in the stone age of traditional SEO, WordPress websites. Lots of things are changing and it's a really exciting time to be honest. But before we get into all that, I wanted to mention our AI Hustle School community. If you ever wanted to grow your business and learn more about AI, how to make money with it on the side or just grow your business, we would love to have you be a member of our our AI hustle school community. We have a brand new, fresh relaunch. We just relaunched it with a ton of different courses, all under the different types of hustles we talk about, such as growing your business and website through podcast, free traffic and distribution, AI music streaming, you know, trying to think of some podcast networks, all kinds of things.
1:28Jaden has millions of streams online with his AI podcasts, building apps. You know, there's tons of different ways you can make money with AI. And we create content, bonus content each week that covers different topics that you can see on our community. So we'd love to have you be a member. It's$19 a month, and we really feel like it's a great value. We share tons of insider information over there and details each week. So, but let's get into talking about these, these Claude websites that are crushing it right now. I'm going to share a personal experience here. We had a, so we have an Airbnb, my wife and I, and we are looking to find new cleaners.
2:12So I just did a Google search, you know, as most people do. And I came across this website called Third Coast Cleaners. And I recognized immediately that it was some kind of clawed website. It looks, you know, just really clean, modern, updated, but it has some of those pills, you know, that it builds around it. It just has the look, you know. Honestly, I didn't really mind. I liked what I had to say. And I liked their, you know, they talked about how they have a co-host calendar sync. So they know exactly when your checkouts are. It seemed legit. So I reached out and she came out and gave me a quote.
2:50And at the end, I asked her, hey, did you, you know, did you build your website with Claude? You know, I do some AI stuff too. And just wanted to hear out on it. And she said, yeah, it's been amazing. actually built this Claude website. And now I don't have to do any outreach to get clients. Everyone, everything's inbound because I rank on Google. And then I just outsource all the cleaning, contract it to stay at home moms. So that's like her whole business model is she is essentially marketing cleaning services and then contracting out to stay at home moms and she's crushing it. So I feel like there's a lot of opportunity here with, if you own a service business or even if you want to get into doing this for people with service businesses there's a lot of niches that are totally untapped and there's a ton of opportunity I love that um it's funny because I recently saw a meme which I'll share over on x um and it was uh it was this guy named James Hawkins and he uh he's a I think he runs post hog which is like a big software company Anyways, he just he crap posts on X a lot.
3:58But he posted this one thing where he said local barber found out about Claude code. And it says the haircut layer for the modern head, book a chair, fade labs is a full service barbershop, skin fade, scissor cuts, hot towel, straight razor. Anyways, the whole website just looks like it was built by Claude, but it's hilarious. It says V3.2 beard sculpting is now generally available. Anyways, the whole thing is like a tech website, but a barbershop. It's hilarious. Obviously, they went a little overboard on making like merging tech and barber stuff, which is funny. It's got this like code stuff written below.
4:32But I actually really love the concept. And like you were mentioning, with that cleaning company, using something like Claude to revamp your website is such a huge unlock. I was recently actually talking to a whole group of 15, 16 year olds. It's like a local group at my church. and I was doing like a presentation kind of thing on AI last night with them all. And they were asking like, if we wanted to make money, like what would be the number one thing you would recommend to use AI to make money? And honestly, the side hustle or the business that I really like, but this applies to people's real businesses, but if they were just getting started, what I recommended was honestly the side hustle where you go, you just go to Google Maps and you type in dentists near me or you type in, you know, barbershops near me or whatever, go look at whoever has websites that don't look super polished or super professional, call them up or send them an email and say, hey, look, I've made you a brand new website that looks amazing.
5:31I'd love to show it to you when's a good time to demo. And as soon as they book an appointment, that's when you go and build the whole website out for them and then just go demo it to them. It's not very hard, especially because with Claude or ChatGPT, you can just point the AI at their current website, say use all of their information, use all of their photos, use whatever they have, but just make it look beautiful and then make it rank really well on Google and make it so that when people are asking chat GPT or Claude about it, it's going to recommend it to them. There's something called an LLM TXT, which is basically the information that the LLMs can scrape and serve up.
6:04And then there's the robot.txt, which is telling Google to index it. Everyone knows what robots.txt for ranking on Google, but very few websites have the LLM.txt. So there's some very small things you can do to make a huge dramatic improvement on your website, ranking well on Google and getting results. And like, honestly, a website you could I mean, I'd be curious, Jamie, because I know you've done some like very specially crafted, amazing websites for local businesses before. So I'd be curious on what your timeline is on those typically. But if you wanted to go really fast, you can get one of these done in an hour, especially if you have templates and kind of things that you previously have used.
6:44Yeah. So, I mean, I think there's a few thoughts that went through my head. So first of all, this is, I did the same thing that this girl with the cleaning business did. And I have a little property management website I built and I want to do the same thing kind of as her is basically get into property management for Airbnbs because I would like to expand that business, but I don't want to buy more houses necessarily. I don't want to own them, just manage them. uh so i started this website i do a little i get a little fancy with it but it's really pretty basic i just put a five to seven second b-roll clip as the the header and it kind of just levels it up it's still though if you look beyond that it is pretty basic as far as a claude cloud website i do i do some fancy stuff sometimes like i have a a api plugin for B &B calc so people can see what their Airbnb could earn or what their home could earn as an Airbnb.
7:42So I try to put a few different things in like that, but still pretty basic. You could spin up one of these much faster, like you said, maybe in an hour or two, and you're going to want to make tweaks. But I think the hard part is the ranking piece because if you're doing this for other businesses, I don't know that you could guarantee that you could rank them because a lot of people are starting to do this. It depends on the niche. It depends on your, are you in a major metropolitan area where there's thousands of people already trying to do this? Or are you in a more rural area? There's a lot of factors that play into it.
8:18But like I said, I still think there's a lot of opportunity here. By the way, this website I'm showing you right now was able to get me my first appointment. I have no Google business profile even for this business yet, but I was able to rank. And I had an appointment. So hopefully I can get my first management client from just this website. But I will say generally you have to pair a good website with an already existing Google business profile that has some reviews in order for you to have any meaningful jump in ranking. But this was kind of just a freak thing that it worked for me. So, yep, that's that's amazing.
9:00So I want to show people just really quickly what you can also do as far as like if you are going to go and do this as a business, because I think you make a good point. Well, I wouldn't promise people that you'll rank, but you could say your website will be optimized so that it has the best chance of ranking. But regardless, I think you can go take really ugly websites. So I'm on Google Maps right now and I just search dentist in an area kind of near me. I'm going to go find this one that has like 200 five star reviews, which is pretty impressive. you can go look at their website and you know their website looks like what uh i'll share my screen on their website their website looks like what a dental website looked like you know 10 years ago basically it's honestly not that ugly of a website but you can tell like this doesn't look modern anymore like this isn't a very good website it looks like it was built with html there's square images everywhere it's just basically pretty basic so something like this you literally just grab the link to it.
9:55Like they already have images in here of their dental practice and they have lots of pages that they're trying to rank for in social media. So they have all the content there. You just need to put this together in something that looks more presentable and more beautiful. And then, yeah, you just go in and type this, you know, give this to Claude and have it create something. Now, as far as the ranking piece goes, I think that there's actually another service there because, you know, a website like this, you would get Claude to basically overhaul, make beautiful, sell it for$500 to$2 ,000, depending on the business and the industry and how much work you want to put into it.
10:31Jamie does something cool where all of these header images on his websites, he turns them into video. So he uses AI to do that. I think that that's a great idea for something like this. You probably would like go find pictures of inside their dental office and just kind of have the camera moving around. So then it feels like it's like a real live, you know, luxurious experience or whatever. And that's kind of, I would, you for that more than the like a regular$500 sale. But as far as ranking goes, I have seen some really incredible results on ranking websites just completely with AI. There is a piece missing here.
11:06And I think it's actually maybe a more broad business, which is that if you're going to promise or quote unquote promise to help people with ranking, it's not a one off thing where you like make the website and you walk away and you're like, okay, now you're going to see like a hockey stick of traffic like this one. In order for me to get this like really good growth graph on this site that I'm working on where like I got 600 clicks to it a few days ago. And it's, you know, been growing. It's like about 50 ,000 impressions on Google, 600 clicks in a day. And it's, you know, been growing really fast.
11:35The way I was able to do this wasn't the first time I built the site. The first time I built the site, you can see for a very long time is getting almost no traffic, then maybe some small traffic. The reason I got bumps in the traffic on my site is because every single week I would sit down and say, look at this site, do an SEO audit, go look at my Google search console, download all the files, download all the logs, and then recommend new types of content that I should be writing based off of what my target audience is, go look at who my competitors would be, go look at what they're writing about, and then how can we get some of their traffic and what is the new content that we should write.
12:10So I basically had this, you know, this weekly overhaul where I'd spend a few hours every single week getting it to revamp the website, add new pages, fix stuff up, resubmit the sitemap. It had a whole process that it would do every week. And so if you actually want to rank, you're going to need to do this. And I don't actually think that's a bad thing. I would say for the local services based businesses, maybe your foot in the door is, hey, look, your website's ugly. We could redo the I could redo the whole thing for 500 to$2 ,000, make it look amazing. Maybe it's$500 or 1000 or, you know, $900 because that's like a good get your foot in the door.
12:43But then say, look, for, you know, 250 or 400 or$600 a month, I can every single week make an update. We're adding new pictures, new posts, new projects, new content, optimizing the website to make you rank better in Google. And you don't have to be an SEO expert. I mean, you'd probably want to do some like research, kind of understand some good strategies on getting them included in directories. And like, you know there's a handful of different small strategies you could do but i think you could basically spin up from like the website creation to like an agency if that's the route you want to go an agency where you actually maintain and help them with their traffic and growth and i have a friend that he's got a cleaning business and he just signed up with an seo agency i believe he's paying them three thousand dollars a month um for just a cleaning business and they're optimizing his stuff and he said that his traffic's going up and it's it's really worth it for him so i think my prices are yeah probably super low he's paying three thousand dollars a month just for the optimization and he's a developer so he built his own website with Claude it looks amazing and he's still paying someone three thousand dollars a month to basically do this I tell him all the time I'm like look man you can do this yourself and he's like I know but they know what they're doing I don't have to worry about it so they run it so yeah this is I think maybe the foot in the door is a five hundred dollar website and then it's a three thousand dollar a month, we're going to actually make this thing get you more traffic and, uh, and grow.
14:07So some great business opportunities between the two of those. Oh yeah. There's, there's tons of value, especially if you can, you know, how businesses get more clients, uh, there's, you know, people are willing to pay for leads. So that's just another whole nother business in and of itself. So, um, listen guys, if you like this episode, we'd really appreciate a rating or review wherever you are listening, that we read every single one and we're trying to get to 200 reviews right now. So please help us out with that.
