In short

The episode is a “Bad Friends Court” style back-and-forth where Bobby and Andrew grill Carlos about tour-management boundaries and a dinner incident in Toronto, plus they riff on Arsenal winning the Premier League after 22 years. Carlos claims he told his comedian friend to avoid heckling and phones during a set, then argues about whether Carlos’s “Robin Williams” comparison for Bobby’s performance was fair. Key dispute: after the show, Carlos let two unfamiliar men into backstage/green-room access and dinner without proper clearance; Carlos says they were connected to Akash Singh via confusing name/DMS details, while others argue he took a security risk and didn’t apologize.

Guests

Doc Willis returns. Background: Doc is a comedian/performer who previously appeared on the show (about 2–3 years ago). He discusses health recovery: type 2 diabetes, weight loss, and follow-up tests (lesions on kidneys/liver, colonoscopy polyp, CT scan).

Key claims

he improved A1c from ~6.6 to 5.9 via stopping sugar, intermittent fasting, and dietary changes; he also discusses oxalate/spinach links to kidney stones and recommends fermented vegetables like kimchi.

Notable examples

Arsenal fan photo with his nan; “Mentos and cologne” habits; the Toronto dinner with “Harun/Hassan Salimi/Singh” name confusion.

0:00Bobby Lee:You two are bad friends. Who are these two idiots? A white dude and an Asian dude. You two are disgusting. You two are something. We're bad friends. North London forever, whatever the weather, these streets are our own. And my heart will not leave you ever. My blood will forever Run through the stone Congratulations to Arsenal. Congratulations to Arsenal winning The Premier League after 22 years of trying. I saw a picture of a guy who went with his nan. Nan? There he is. He was with his nan. Oh, I thought it was Indian bread that he was bringing. I thought he said nan. Arsenal fan takes a photo with his nan.

0:56Bobby Lee:Yeah, I saw that one. Two title wins. Yep. Yeah. A gooner for life, you must be. Yeah, and I have to say, I know the fans are sick of it. I went to Canada this weekend. How was Canada? You were in trouble. It went off without a hitch. No hitches at all. Yeah. It went off without a hitch. Now tell me. Yeah. It sounds, just tonally, it sounds like there were some hitches. There's two hitches. There's two hitches. I don't know if the fans want to listen to it all the time. I think the fans would enjoy - My hitches. A couple of hitches. There was three, but the third one I can let go. I'd like to hear all three.

1:29Bobby Lee:No, no, no. The third one isn't as strong as the first two. The third one I can let go. The first two. What are you doing? I'm lawyering up. All right. Oh, he's lawyering up. Oh, you're lawyering up. All right. So what I want to say to you, Carlos, is that I love you. You're improving every week. I'll tell you where the improvements are coming. Hell yeah. Every time he approaches me, he puts a Mentos in his mouth. Literally true. Literally true. Literally true. Every time I knew Mentos in his mouth, and I'm like, that's growth. You know, I'm going to get the bill for - He was spraying cologne a little bit.

2:00Bobby Lee:Yeah, yeah, yeah. He sprays cologne over his face. He approaches me. I'm going to get the bill for bad at the end of the month, and it's going to be Mentos. It's going to be 30 grand in Mentos. I know, I know, I know. So that's an improvement. There's some things that he's done and said that were kind of bothersome to me. Backhanded? Not backhanded. Just an observation. Interesting. Interesting. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So - And I'm going to say the first two, and then I don't want any arguments. So write it down if you have any arguments. Yeah, you told me I couldn't talk. Yeah, so I'm going to do the first two without any interruption from you, right?

2:35Bobby Lee:And go get a piece of paper and a pen, and I will not allow you to even say a word, okay? And it's just an interesting little thing, tidbit of something that – all right. So are you ready, Carlos? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, where are you? I said to get my jewels. Oh, yeah, go get your jewels. Yeah, yeah. One jewel per gripe. you get to huff one big hit per gripe the first one i don't know why it bothered me it probably wouldn't have bothered you but it bothered me okay okay so i have carlos go up on stage stop i did see photos of that yeah yeah he goes up on stage and he needs to say two things which are please no heckling uh and put away your phone and put your way for your way your phones because bobby has a special coming out and we don't want anyone videoing it simple request Yeah, right.

3:19Bobby Lee:So, and while he's doing it, I'm on the God mic, which is the mic off stage. And I'm making the crowd laugh, like, hurry up. You know what I mean? Boring. Stuff like that. That's great. More energy. Classic shit. Right, right. So, second show in Toronto, he gets off stage giggling. He gets off stage giggling, like, right? He looks me right in the eyes and he goes, I feel like Robin Williams. i feel like robin williams now what do you think you have in common with robin no no he doesn't get to oh sorry not you want to do it now or no i'll go bit to bit we'll go bit to bit so let him you i think you rebut let's do a rebuttal did you not say that i did say that i was feeling it so hard i was high as hell getting off stage and i was proud of myself for killing it for my boss.

4:12Bobby Lee:Yeah. It was more like, I feel like Hannah Gatsby.

4:18Bobby Lee:You know what I mean? Yeah, you're the old lady and I'm her... No, no, you. Oh, good attack. Good attack. Good attack. It's a good show. Very good talk. You believe you crushed the cold open. Like Robin Williams. I did well. Okay. He did not. God laughed. The laughs were from me. No, no, no. Not all of them. They were from me as well. Okay. I mean, does it bother? I couldn't think of an analogy. I think maybe I thought of the feeling. Can I give you just an analogy? Let's say I'm a construction worker, right? And I'm working on a home. One day, I invite my son. My son's 15 years old. Come to work with me, son.

4:57Bobby Lee:Right? And I'm putting in a nail. Right? And the last bit, I go, son, come over here. Grab the hammer. He does the last bit. The son does. Then looks at his dad and goes, I built a house. Right.

5:14Bobby Lee:That's the feeling. I built a house. No, you put a little piece of nail in. Yeah. You're not Robin Williams. Right? I didn't fit. He didn't feel, I bet you money, I bet you money that if Robin Williams is still alive, right, that feeling that you had, he never has. Oh, that cocky feeling of. Yeah, it's not even remotely. I mean, give me your. I would, so you said, would it make me mad? No and I'll tell you why Oh good I like this because I want to calm down Yes please Because I would have never let him go on stage I know Andrew you would have been psyched for me I would have been happy for you But if he said that to you what would be your reaction I'd have to bring him back on stage I'd have gone Robin Williams guys everybody give it back up Have him do another 10 I was manic like you were at dinner Gripe 2 Well I'll tell you why That's the gripe too and do not say anything before Okay write it down Okay here's my gripe too So Well there's a couple of gripes but There's actually more gripes now but The gripes are growing Gripes always grow like grapes It's a vine of gripes But I'm going to say one gripe Okay So after the second show What does one do after a show You go to eat you're so smart you have to go eat you're hungry you're that's why i'm here with you worked very hard dude you're so fucking smart dude where did you go to eat we went to this hot pot place we really liked so we're walking there and there's a gigantic um indian slash turkish man with us okay security no i've never seen him before in my life who's the man i don't know his name um There was another, his cousin was with him too, or some friend.

7:03Bobby Lee:I think his name is Haroon. Haroon. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So stop. I said, don't say anything until I'm done. I'm just luring up. Get your lawyers and go to your council or whatever you need to do, all right? I'm Carlos Cox. All right. We're at dinner, right? And these guys are with us. Just sitting at dinner. Eating a meal? That I'm paying for, yeah. Did they introduce themselves to you at all? The big guy did not know. All right. And the other guy, I only know his name because during dinner, I go, what's your name? And he goes, Harun. Harun. Right. So I turned to Carlos when they're both gone. They're at the sauce bar section.

7:46Bobby Lee:Sauce bar, yeah. So they're away and I go, who the fuck is this guy? And this guy, Carlos goes, oh, that's Akash's brother. Harun Singh. Yeah, Akash Singh, right? Do you remember this? When I looked at him and I went, what was it like, you know, we hang out with, growing up with Akash? And he goes, oh, I've only met him a couple of times in Toronto when he tours. Yes, I did. Your Honor, he did not say that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He did not say that. Who is he? Who is he? Let me ask you this. Was he his brother? Look at my. Was he his brother? He was not, your Honor. Your Honor, I point to evidence exhibit A.

8:21Bobby Lee:Well, let me read this. Hassan Salimi says, hey man, gonna talk to Bob tonight when we get off the plane. Salimi Singh. Salimi Singh. Yeah, they're different last names. Very different. You told me that he was his brother. Yeah, but in the Middle East, they do weird things with their names. You never know. Hold on. It says here, Carlos said, hey man, gonna talk to Bob tonight when we get off the plane. Things have dot, dot, dot. And Hassan says, LOL, week to week, we live one day at a time. Now, I don't know if that is a Muslim thing, but I don't know what that is. It's an AA thing. It is. Yeah.

8:53Bobby Lee:And he said, tell him Akash Singh bigger, but younger brother is here to make sure he's good when he's here. Okay. So when I asked him, are you his brother? He goes, when he comes to Toronto, I come to his shows. So I just want to tell anyone out there when I'm on tour from now on, if you're a serial killer, if you're on the FBI of most honest list, just come to dinner. Talk to Carlos. I know they never caught the Zodiac killer, but if you're in town, just come to dinner. Anyone come to dinner. Come on to dinner. Come on to dinner. Live. Your Honor, Your Honor. Yeah, yeah. He liked him so much, he got a ride to the Ritz car.

9:34Bobby Lee:No, I got a ride because I didn't want to be in the car with you. Because I told you to take a chill pill because you were being manic at dinner. Yeah, because I'm with people there that aren't supposed to be there. I mean if you have issues with uh standing up and like with boundaries and telling people who can and cannot come to dinner that's your that's your job but you should whisper that to me before we go Andrew would have no problem with time hold on hold on don't throw me under the bus I I am simply waiting for my ride yeah don't push me in front of you so wait get back to the let's go back to the dm because because what I would interpret this as if I'm Carlos yeah and he says, tell him Akash Singh bigger, but younger brother is here.

10:16Bobby Lee:My immediate reaction would be, you're related to Akash? You're right, your honor. That's a question I could have asked. But instead you said - Oh, I know Akash. We love AK. I've known him. I've known him since 2011. You didn't inquire of whether or not this was Akash's brother or reach out to Akash to say, is this guy your brother? Now, how did this man DM you? he dm bad page or your page please please either way the point is please you didn't inquire if this man was actually a relative or just a local host of comics look they're holding hands no that's my hands in my pocket oh brother and look at my head you this i'm going who is this this evidence you're trying to display yeah yeah who took this photo you did no i didn't yeah you did and you You did this because you knew I was going to do this.

11:06Bobby Lee:And this is insane, dude. Cat Bird took his photo. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's on my side. I have a better iPhone than that. Yeah. Okay. This gentleman came to dinner. Yeah. Bobby was being cordial and got through the dinner, although he was uncomfortable with the whole thing. At the end, was there any semblance of an apology or like, hey, I didn't know I fucked up or any of that? No. No. Interesting move, Carlos. No. Yeah. He was visibly upset about this whole having strangers at the dinner. I don't think he was visibly upset about it. Then why did you say to shut your mouth during dinner? You told him to shut your mouth?

11:38Bobby Lee:Your honor, I would never tell my mom to shut your mouth. What did you say then? You need to relax. Okay. Take a chill pill is what you said. He said chill pill. That's how he took it. Okay. He was manic, Andrew. He needed his meds. You would have been very upset. Hold on. Did you invite two strangers to dinner? Yeah, but they were cool. And they were the same color as AK. Hold on. Hold on. Everyone in Toronto is brown. I know. The whole city is brown. I know. They can all come to dinner. Well, I guess now they can. I guess when I go to Toronto next year, come on out. Distant cousins of Akash come out.

12:16Bobby Lee:And I'm also tour managing that. And also, you know, I'll pay for it. Anyone can come out. I'll pay. It's not the money problem. It's that you had strangers at dinner.

12:31Bobby Lee:It's also a combination of different things. Were they backstage? They came backstage. Yeah, they came backstage. Sure, they did. After the show? Yeah, yeah. Oh, sure. Of course they did. They were in my green room. Of course they were. Your Honor? I have to say about that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They weren't on the backstage list and he was standing by the door walking with other people who were and I got to say I got a little afraid of him and I was like, oh, hi. Yeah, you can come. Well, nothing says good tour manager. Like fear. Yeah, like fear. Yeah, yeah. So you got afraid of this man. So what did you do?

13:04Bobby Lee:You let him in. You let him in. Someone comes with an ax to the door and you go, get in here. Bobby's sitting down eating dinner. I'm not secret service. I wasn't trained in military tactics. I understand. But a tactic you are very good at is deflection and diversion. How come you didn't deflect and go, let's figure this out. And you guys, why don't you go sit out there. Let me talk to Bob because he needs to. And then we'll get back to the - I also had told him from our last trial, did I not? Right? That I don't want people back there if I don't know them. That was presented at the previous trial.

13:37Bobby Lee:Yeah, that was presented at the previous trial. Your honor. Okay, time out. You said Robin Williams. There were two guys I didn't know at the dinner. I mean, what the fuck is there else to say? Let me say this. Listen, I don't know anything about him. You got along swimmingly. I know, but I would rather get a ride home with him than you that night. Well, I'm, yeah. By the way, interesting tactic by the general to ride with the enemy versus his own team. Never seen in history. But he doesn't trust his own team enough. He rides with the tennis. I don't trust my own team. That's interesting. Yeah, it's the most interesting.

14:09Bobby Lee:Hey, that's tough. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Now, let me say this. No, let's say, let me get Andreas and McCone in the action. Go ahead. Yeah. Andreas, what do you think? I want to say it's difficult to defend Carlos here. I want to.

14:26Bobby Lee:I really want to. Your honor, your honor, your honor. No, no, no. No, we're, we're, we're, I have to talk to the judge. The jury has to talk. They don't talk in court. Yeah, yeah. In this court they do, okay? Bad friends court, they talk. They talk, all right. McCone, and be honest, and you know, I know that we have, but please. Oh no, I think, I mean, Carlos should be keeping you safe. And there he really was putting your life at risk. Exactly. Life at risk. Life at risk. Let me ask you the last thing, McCone, right? The Robin Williams, what do you think of that? I was high, dude. No, no, no, I mean, McCone just go.

14:56Bobby Lee:I did hear he crushed. oh he heard he crossed really i'm being honest i think the backstage thing i heard it too somehow but it got back you know now who told you that he crossed it's on the internet no yeah strangers were reaching out in the dms being i didn't know carlos had it in him like he really like he went for the golden killed so you so he was robin williams that night yeah i think well he was very high robin was often very high i didn't get high before the show i promise just in the hotel You just said that you were high when you were on stage. Oh no, I meant high from being on stage.

15:28Bobby Lee:That's what I meant. Oh, you weren't intoxicated? No, not before the show. Good, smart. You know, I did pretty good as well. I imagine. Yeah, yeah. I'm honored that has nothing to do with the track. And I walked off stage and I felt like, hmm. These details are interesting. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because here's Bobby gets off stage. He killed. Extending ovation. He's feeling, he's feeling. And I feel okay about it. Yeah, but I'm not - You do 34 seconds. No, I did like 240 seconds. And I'm not a comedian, so it's more exciting for me. I don't have to have this brooding like, oh, I didn't really kill, even though I know I did.

16:02Bobby Lee:Okay, let's move forward in the case. Copy. Was there, because the judges moved on. Yeah. Was there any apology at all about letting in foreign objects or people? No, there was an apology the night before because I yelled twice and then I called Bob. Yeah, yeah. Here's another thing. He's a dog. All right, so there's more gripe. Yeah, it's like a dog. The vine gets longer and - As the vine grows. Yeah, as the vine grows, right? It's like a puppy. Oh, it gets afraid of loud noises or something. It's insane. No, this guy snaps at strangers. Who are you yelling? You didn't snap at the random guys that left that street?

16:39Bobby Lee:He attacked a door. What did the door do to you? What did the door do to you? Oh, it said, don't open me. So you opened it? So if a door says, don't open me, he attacks it. So anyone in LA County right now, remove those signs. Remove those signs. Yeah, yeah, because he will attack it. He'll go through it. He kicks it, he pulls on it, right? And he goes, fuck you. Carlos, I will say this can be a time for us to not have a strict, you know, you could either, you could either, you can either catch a guilty charge or you can do a sincere apology for some of the gripes that have happened. I know, but we do this every week right now.

17:22Okay?

17:23Bobby Lee:Every week we do this, right? And there's slight changes in behavior. Mentos, right? Mentos and cologne is big. Cologne is pretty big, right? So he doesn't look like it's more like a cave troll. And who's cologne? My own. What kind I mean? Mallon and Goats from Larchmont. Yeah, yeah. Mallon and Goats is good. We already talked about it. It's more goat than, we already said that term. More goat than mallon. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's gay group. I didn't know if you switched cologne. Yeah, yeah. Okay, so that being said, you now know that nobody can come backstage without clearance right yeah do you feel bad about it or you're still sticking to your gun saying no bobby had a good enough time with the guy that you don't know of course not i do feel bad about it and i told you that i said i felt like i let you down this weekend and you said um no you didn't drop the ball like there was this gaslighting thing of like saying something was fine the night before it's like it's it's like you're in a relationship and your wife I'm the abused wife and your wife keeps cheating on you and you still go back and you're still together and eventually the screaming the yelling and the beating and the physical beating and all that stuff you just kind of get used to it and then it's like oh you cheated on me again that's cool so you're in an abusive relationship with Carlos I think so yeah I think we need therapy and in fact can I say this oh god there's yeah Hollywood therapists so reliable I do therapy for celebrities I swear it's for the love of the art You're saying this therapist isn't valid at all Andrew help me please What happens when you die here?

18:51Bobby Lee:I got it I need your help right now because it's coming up It's bubbling Just look at me please Please look at me Help me I got you I've had a great week Arsenal won I was literally trying to What did I say outside? In the parking lot, he said, I don't think I should yell at Carlos today. Yeah, that's what I said. That's what I said. I'll be fine. You said that? Yeah, I did. I go, I have so much resentment. You know what I mean? The thought is what it counts. Yeah, yeah. And I looked at you and I said, I don't think I should bring it up today because I think the audience is tired of it. And you said, bring it up.

19:32Bobby Lee:Bring it up. I want to hear it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I brought it up, your honor. You did. Yeah. But I want to hear it because I'm - Yeah, yeah. So I think, you know, the Robin Williams fine. Okay? Innocent on Robin Williams charge. Innocent on Robin Williams. Okay, innocent on Robin Williams. Innocent on Robin Williams charge. Yeah, if you were to watch Carlos that night, it would be just like watching Robin Williams. Same shit. Same shit, right? Same energy, same, you know what I mean? Thank you. Talent, okay? Thank you. Second charge though. Charge two. Charge two, guilty. Very. Yeah. Yeah.

20:07Bobby Lee:Guilty, guilty. You're probably gonna get an extended sentence because of the level of the guilt. I mean, it's like, you know. It's scary guilt. I want to say something on this court. Yeah. Is this a translator? Who is this guy? Yeah, I don't know who he is. Yeah, yeah. Your judgment might be impaired. You are the one hiring him. I know. And I'm questioning myself. Thanks, Bob. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The only reason I'm not touring this year is because of him. I know. Otherwise, I'd be on the road. I know, I know. Acorns. I'll tell you what, bud. The thing that I wish I had back when I was younger is Acorns because I didn't do any investing.

20:43Bobby Lee:Yeah, well, now Acorns exists. It's a smart way to give your money a chance to grow. I didn't invest in anything either until very recently because Acorns makes it so easy. You can sign up in minutes and start automatically investing your spare money, even if all you have is spare change. People think there's this thought that, oh my God, you got to have a ton of money to start investing. You're conditioned to think that. That's not true. And it's not even true. The Acorns potential screen shows you the power of compounding and how your money could grow over time. Plus, you can quickly adjust how much you've invested every day, week, or month to make sure you're building towards your goals.

You're Robin Williams, right? so I want to see 10 minutes and we have a timer on stage yeah we clock it you're doing 10 or you're fired done okay can I bring the laptop out like Bieber no just yourself 10 minutes and you're gonna drown you're gonna drown so deeply that I'm gonna be on the side of the stage like a hyena I'm still gonna get laid that night okay dude dude what 12 minutes you're doing cause that extra 2 might hurt Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Read the full transcript

24:32Bobby Lee:The extra two minutes hurts. The extra two is going to hurt. Yeah, it's like a void. How about this? Here's the new rules. Yeah, tell me the rules. 12 minutes. Okay. Yes. No God Mike fucking around. Yeah. You're going out totally cold and you're being introduced, not over the God Mike from him, but by a staff member. So a stagehand or someone there going, ladies and gentlemen, Carlos Herrera. That's it. Okay. Standard. Walkout music, Kanye? No music. Yeah, yeah, no music. No music. Cold, cold, freezing. Because Robin Williams would be able to go up cold. Didn't need music. You're right. Yeah, and be able to kill for 12.

25:03Bobby Lee:Didn't need music. Didn't need music, didn't need a God mic. You know what's gonna happen is I'm gonna do so well because I'm expecting not to. Should we tape it? I wanna film it. We have to see it. Bobby, you said I did well. You were happy for me in every city. We both did well. We both did well. Without God mic, without God mic, drown. No, hell no. You make it harder for me. I need to breathe out there as an artist. All right, so 12 minutes. No music. No intro. No hype intro. No, you guys, it's Bobby. I brought my friends with me. None of that. I don't even do that. I do that. I'm saying he gets mad because I go out low energy.

25:47Bobby Lee:The first time he went up, it was Julian Casablanca. He was kicking the stool. He was like, I don't want to be here. You know what I mean? That's the vibe. You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah. But let's try that. 12 minutes. 12 minutes. Friday night, Minnesota. Yeah, I'll bring up racial stuff. People will laugh at that. I can't wait to see it. I'm so excited. McCone has to be there to film. I'm so excited, dude. Yeah, and McCone's got a film, and it's gonna be great. And then when you get off stage, you're gonna realize you're not Robin Williams. Bobby, what did I tell you? And the, why are you yelling at me?

26:20Bobby Lee:Your honor, your honor. He's leaving out crucial evidence that just makes me look bad by leaving it out. What are some of the things he's leaving out? Well, what I told him backstage was, your job is so hard. Like I was like, oh, I can't believe it. That was like crazy hard. Just in a small amount of time. Yeah. Compliments. Did you believe any of them? No. Okay. Absolutely not. Lies and deception. Yeah. Well, I got to tell you, work on your deception and work on your threat level one security of not letting someone through backstage. That could have been very bad. Yeah. Hypothetically. That could have been bad.

26:53Bobby Lee:I'm glad it worked out. Yeah. I mean, but it wasn't. Anyway. Anyway. Yeah. How was your week? Case closed. My week was in the Dominican Republic. It was amazing. McCone obviously has the photo we can show you. McCone came to my sister's wedding, which was pretty amazing that he was there. I'm shocked and a little annoyed that he was there. I greeted him with such disdain when I first saw his face with my family. He flew himself out? I flew him. I get it. I flew him. What was I going to do? Yeah. Do you get talk back from McCone? I sure do. You do. You do. Really? Do you want to talk about what happened today?

27:27Bobby Lee:So this is McCone on the beach. We made him braid his hair for the wedding. That looks dope. It actually was so sick. You should have kept it. He took it out. I told him to keep it. Yeah, you should have kept that. That looks dope. He kept going, it hurts so much. Really? It hurts every day. I couldn't move my head up or down. Really? It's like so tight. There needs to be a trial for McCone. We need to. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I will be the judge, okay? Oh, my God. Oh, my God, dude. Get it. What's up, big dog? What's up, boy? What up, baby? What up, bro? You all right? Great to see you, boy. Yeah. Love you, boy.

28:07Had to surprise you, man. We did this for you, bitch. Oh, yeah. It's pretty good. Another day. Everything good? Nancy, what's going on? Boy, don't give me that fist bump. Keep it real. How you feeling, friend? How you doing? It's so good to see you, man. Yeah, look at him. You see? It's pretty good. Hey, man.

28:27Bobby Lee:Take a seat, Big D. Ladies and gentlemen of the Bad Friends universe, the one and the only Doc Willis returns to the Bad Friends show. Hell yeah. What's up to y 'all? Y 'all good? Disclosure day. Hey, man, what's up, Tino? My man Doc is back in the building. It's been a long time. Do we have a count on the last time he was on the show of how many episodes ago it was? It was over. It's early 100s. It's got to be a year and a half or two years now. More? Three years. Almost three years. summer of 22 summer of 22 so that oh my god we're coming up on our fourth year yeah Doc Willis returns to the Bad Friends show Bobby is in awe and for the dead air replacement people that don't know and that are not watching he is holding his face he's crying because we've surprised him with bringing Doc back to the show oh and he's getting emotional hey man they say they yellow he turned red he's turning very red that was beautiful man I'm not yellow anymore Listen man Yellow and blue makes red by the way Listen man I just want to say It's good to see you Great to see you too bro You know I have a deep history with you You know you've known each other for a very long time And um You know I I've just I've just missed you and um Thank you so much For coming back on and um I don't know I think this is the best week of my life.

29:57Bobby Lee:I mean, Arsenal wins. You know what I mean? You know, Carlos does know Robin Williams. But then... Doc, Robin, anyway... And to see you back, it really did really... And, yeah, I... Thank you for being here, and I love you. And let's give Doc Willis a round of applause. What a surprise. Is that a good surprise or what? You look great. Yeah, you look good. Yeah, you look healthy. Yeah, because I was up at over 180 pounds. I have all kinds of health issues because of that. What were the health issues? Now he's back to Chalamet. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Dr. Chalamet, you look 20 years younger. Yeah, yeah.

30:43That weight loss to do for you. You look good too, bro. That's the goddamn problem. That's the goddamn shit. Thank you so much, man. Yeah, man. It was, I had type 2 diabetes.

30:54Bobby Lee:Oh, no. Yeah, yeah. That's not good. That's not good. No, that's not good. That's not good. Okay, which one's good? Is that the bad one? Three is good. Oh, three is good. Type 3 is good. So type 2 diabetes. Doc told me type 2 diabetes. You were going to the doctor, but you beat it. I went in because I had a cough. And I was having illnesses that were stopping me from eating. Like, I couldn't eat nothing sweet. Everything I was eating was just, I was like almost throwing it up. So I stopped juice, no matter what it was, apple juice, everything. So I was like, all right, I need to go to the doctor.

31:24Well, actually, my cousin. She was like, get your ass in the doctor. You got free health care. What's your favorite kind of juice? Pomegranate.

31:30Bobby Lee:Oh, that's a good juice. Yeah, it is. Very good juice. And so I was like, all right, let me just go in. So I go there and he basically just called me fat to my face. I've never heard a doctor even. You know what I'm saying? Like the doctor. you walked did you get on a scale yeah yeah yeah you know you do that when you first go in he said that before you went on the scale no no he said it right after that okay but he he didn't say fat he just so let me explain he had this he had one of the baddest female students i've ever seen and he was like is it cool if we just do this exam in front of you i was like shit i'll do this naked she was beautiful bro so asian white what was it uh asian indian so um and like yeah yeah oh indian for sure yeah doctor it could be asian asian indian is asian that's right yeah okay and she was like just like really really i said damn she's pretty i said okay yeah so he looked he does all that stuff looks at everything and then he says everything looks good so far you you look well and everything's okay and then he looked at her and he said but however you see right here on the computer he said we got to move the cursor over here and click obese and i go what the fuck and then i go what the fuck you mean and he was like uh because you know your bmi is too high and i said you're just gonna say that right in front of the bitch it was embarrassing i was like not to call a bitch sorry yeah yeah he means he always like dudes always calling hoes bitches Anyway, so I was like, all right, what's next?

33:09And he said, okay, I need you to go in and take some blood because I'm concerned about you. Give some blood. I'm concerned. I said, okay. So I go in and then I come back three weeks later. He's like, man, you got diabetes. So I had early stage of that. And then so I was having issues with my stomach, like I told you guys. He said, well, let me send you in to get an ultrasound on your abdomen. So he goes in. I go in, they do the exam, and then I come back and they go, hey, man, you got two lesions on both of your kidneys. You got something on your kidneys and you got something on your liver. And they said, so we got to do more testing and blah, blah, blah.

33:45And then he said, because of all of this, I'm going to send you to go get a colonoscopy. So I go do the colonoscopy. They find a polyp and they like, oh, man, we got to, we got to. Oh, I also went to the urologist, too. So I got a test. Come, I got to get the results. so I actually just did a CT scan for that this past Thursday.

34:03Bobby Lee:I can't believe they fit so many bad things in such a small box. Yeah. It's crowded in there. It's like trying to put jawbreakers in a lemon head box.

34:16Bobby Lee:It fits. Yeah, it fits. It fits. But, you know, here's the good news. You look a thousand times better. You look healthy as fuck. Tell him why. You told me what you were up to. He said he cut out no booze, no junk food. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. him. Don't you ever throw out no booze. We don't do that. Wait a minute. You said no phenol. Well, here's what happened. You said I'm not drinking wine for a while, Tino. That's what you said. That sounds just like me. What it was, was the doctor, when I told him about the wine, he said, nah, the things that's happened to you is mostly due to your sugar.

34:50He says, it's affecting your pancreas, your liver and everything. He says, so wine is good. You can do it, but you still got to do it only two glasses a day. And I said, yeah, that's already what I always was doing. I don't drink like, y 'all know that. I don't drink, I get drunk.

35:01Bobby Lee:Yeah. Sometimes over here you did. No, never. You had two, always. Always two. Always, yeah. Well, let's get back, get some wine, please. So the thing was, was when the test came back about the liver, he was like, so what you want to do for right now, until we see what's going on, he said, because it mostly points to fatty liver due to diabetes, being overweight, being overweight and diabetes. He said, so just we want to scale back on it. So I said, I'm going to stop, period. So that's what I did. I just stopped. Not period, but I got a little in there. But you haven't drank in a while. Yeah. Yeah.

35:39Then too, like the thing, like, especially for disclosure to you, bad friends who, they're always talking about, yeah, he's a fucking alcoholic. Yeah. Yeah. It's like, I'm the alcoholic.

35:51Bobby Lee:I don't know. I can't. Dependent on you for some reason. I've always, since I was young, never been able to get drunk. Like, I get really sick. My mother actually had an intolerance to alcohol. She couldn't drink at all. So I have kind of the same thing. If I drink more than two, three, I get really sick. So, like, sometimes I would sneak and try to do, like, four glasses. Man, I'm over there hurting, throwing, man, it's the worst. So I would always stick to two, three tops. But no sugar. No sugar. So through intermittent fasting, twice a week, sometimes to 16, 8, and sometimes twice I did 48 hours in a row.

36:25Tried to go three straight, but that shit is rough. Yeah, you can't do that.

36:28Bobby Lee:You end up looking like Carlos. Well, it's actually really good for you because it causes a topogy. And when the topogy occurs, that's when the cells start eating each other. And they start looking, not eating each other, but they start looking for things to eat. So first, you start off by eating your fat in your body. They eat the weakest cell. Yeah, yep. So the longer you can go, the better the topogy. So doctors recommend doing it only with water fasting. I did it twice without and then when I started doing the fasting I would do lemon water to replace my electrolytes that's right so you lose electrolytes when you fast yeah so y 'all be careful but it's actually super great for you so my a1c went down from about 6.6 to 5.9 wow wow wow is your mental function better you think when you fast people say they see something in their brain function the best feeling in the world after when you get to that 48 hour point I've never even I'm like, they call it lightheaded, but it's almost like you're high.

37:22It's like the best feeling in the world. I said, man. And you want to keep going, but your mind, you're fighting with your mind because you're not really that hungry either. It's like a weird space you're in. You feel like you're floating. It's one of the most beautiful feelings. I'm like, man, this is amazing. So I always try now just to fast just because of the feeling of it. It's like a...

37:40Bobby Lee:What was the sugars that you were intaking a lot? Was it sweets or was it just... Okay, last year was the year, last year was the year that I've ever ate like this, right? So when I was on Bad Friends, I was roughly about kind of where I am now. So when I left, and last year, I went to New York, came back in February. From there, I just was in the house. And when I tell y 'all I was eating bad to where the point where my cousin recognized it when she would talk to me on the phone, she was like, because I told her what I ate and I had ate. I would always eat a Starbucks little donut and some coffee every morning.

38:16No food. And then sometimes, and then wait till about afternoon, two o 'clock, and I'm like, you know what? I'm going to have a little wine. So now I'm drinking wine on coffee and Starbucks, you know what I'm saying? Cupcakes and shit. I was totally just fucking myself. And then I would eat, and I said, damn, I ain't ate. It's five o 'clock. Let me go on to Jack in the Box. I don't feel like cooking is too hot. So I did that shit, and I got in the rhetoric. What would you get at Jack in the Box?

38:42Bobby Lee:I always get the tacos. You ever get the tacos? Hell no. That's a fun one of the tacos. I don't trust they tacos, man. What about the egg rolls? Damn. You can make them yourself. Hit that a family recipe. Why would he be? Why are you Jack in the Box then? Because those are the two things that other places don't have. Well, because of the deals. So you get the app. So the app, I was like, I can save more money. I don't really eat like this. I was telling myself that. My mother never fed me fast food when I was younger. Okay. Like, that was our thing. She used to get mad at me when I would go to McDonald's.

39:13What you doing? You don't eat like that. I taught you how to cook. And I'm like, man, all right, I'm relaxed. It was just a burger, right? But what did you get when you get the Jack in the Box? What would you eat? I would always get the breakfast combo sandwich every morning. If I do go to number 23. You know what I'm talking about? The loaded. And then I would always get the Jack in the Box butter, the buttery jack combo.

39:35Bobby Lee:What's the buttery jack? It's a, I don't know exactly what it is, but it tastes good in a month. The buttery Jack is a burger with Swiss tomato, it looks like ketchup. It's a buttery burger. Yeah. Probably cooked in butter. So you haven't had that in a while. In a while. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You missed it? Hold on, I'm not done. He's not done, dude. Shake Shack, five guys, so I was balancing it all, because I was like, well, they got better quality beef, so I don't want to eat too much of this. So you were eating burgers a lot. Burgers a lot. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Burgers and pizza. Where's your pizza spot?

40:11Bobby Lee:What would you get? It's this place around the corner called Joe Peeps. Yeah, Joe. Yeah. Fucking fantastic. No, they're good. They're good. So wait a minute. Popeyes too? Popeyes. Popeyes over KFC for you, yeah? Yeah. Good man. Okay, good man. Smart. Yeah. Smart. Why though? Because this is the taste. Okay. Popeyes is better chicken by far. It is? It tastes better. It's always tasted better. I've never been to Popeye's. Do they have like a fried extra crispy drumstick? The best fry. Their fry's way better than KFC. Not French fries. Yeah, fried chicken. Their fry, I'm saying. Their fry. Okay, I didn't know.

40:45Bobby Lee:I didn't know. Okay, good. There it is. You never had Popeye? I never had Popeye. Oh, shit. I don't like the cartoon. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He thought they sold spinach. His forearms fucked me up, you know what I mean? As a kid, you know what I mean? Well, here's something interesting about spinach, what I learned. Talk space. 44:09Bobby Lee:Good energy in, good energy out. Energy for life.

44:16Give it to me.

44:17Bobby Lee:Do a Mauricio. Yeah, yeah. Tell me about spinach. So what I learned is you can't eat a lot of high and oxalate green vegetables. So the lesions in my kidneys could have been caused because I went on this whole spinach diet where I wouldn't eat nothing but spinach. Then I would do spinach and tomatoes, spinach with onions and squash, spinach with broccoli. You put all Popeye. Yeah. It was like everything's spinach. And then turn around and I'm reading spinach called just kidney stones. Kidney stones from spinach. There you go. So the lesions that they send us on my kidneys, inside my kidneys, it's either kidney stones or the ladder.

44:54Bobby Lee:Wow. Yeah. Yeah. So kale, is that good? No. Kale's not good. Kale's good. They're both good for you, but it's got lower oxalates than spinach. Well then what's the best vegetable I can eat? Because I eat kale, I eat bok choy. Bok choy's good. Broccoli's good. In fact, the best vegetables that your people know of is fermented vegetables are even better. Kimchi. Kimchi's one of the best you can have. Okay, good. For many levels. It's really, really good for you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Most vegetables and not all - Bok choy, arugula, and dark leaf lettuce. Light leaf lettuce is not good for you. In fact, there's a lot of research that says kale is total bullshit as well, but dark leaf lettuce, light leaf lettuce has almost no nutritional value.

45:32Bobby Lee:So beets are good. So put it in spinach and kidney stones. Beets are very good for you. Okay. What'd you say? Put it in spinach and kidney stones. Yeah, no, he did. No, no, he did. Oh, he did. Okay. Yeah, oxalate, calcium oxalate can cause a lot of kiddies. So what you have to do is you have to have a protein with it to bind the oxalates. Oh, so if I ate, so if I had steamed spinach and some steak, they bind together. But you could do like cottage cheese or you can do something that has high calcium level. Cheeses are usually what they say with spinach. Oh, I didn't know. I didn't know. No, I know.

46:03Bobby Lee:Wow, wow. We can get you there. So you went all spinach for a while. For a while. That was my thing was like. How was olive oil? Was she good? How's she been? Or Brutus. I'm a big Brutus fan. So, Doc, out of all this - And I did walking, too. You've been walking a lot. Japanese walking. Yeah. Your hands behind your back? Just to make them angry. Yeah, just to make them angry. Wait. Give me a napkin. Japanese walking. Give me a napkin. It's hands behind your back, right? Isn't that what it is? Not behind your back. Hold up. Hold up. Hold up. Hold up. Hold up. Hold up. That was a curve ball, dude.

46:41Bobby Lee:Oh, fuck. All right. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Japanese walking. Yeah. Japanese walking. It alternates three minutes of brisk walking, three minutes of slow recovery, and a total of 30 minutes. So it's warm up. So it's interval walking levels. There you go. Wow. And this says warm up and then fast interval, slow interval. And when you see something that you haven't seen before on your walk, you must say, oh. That's crazy that that's in there. It says how to do it. Right there. Yeah. Well, for us, it's like, you know what I mean? In us to do it. It's what you do. We always do it. Yeah. Yeah. But - Now when you're walking, there's a big thing they say, people take walks.

47:16Bobby Lee:So my wife and I walk like every night, but they say, do not be on your phone or check your phone. Cause nighttime walking with phones they say is really bad for you. Well, yeah, because you being on the phone at night period is really - It's really blue light. The blue light. It's real bad for your brain. Come on, I'm transferring to me. So if you was having insomnia, that's what you definitely did. Yeah, your transformation is unbelievable. Yeah. You look happy. He's healthy. He's happy. Yeah. I mean, you know, I'm doing great. You know, I always, I think, I feel like even when I was on Bad Friends, I've always been happy, you know, from the beginning.

47:50Bobby Lee:But now you're really happy. The same. Okay. Oh, you've been the same? Yeah, it's the same. No, but you've gotten a boost in your life, I feel. Mentally, you feel like you've figured out more stuff in life, right? Like you've got a clearer path than what you want? No, it's even harder. you know what i'm saying yeah i'm over here like but you still have your vision board yes how's the vision i had to tear it down i told you it was the wrong vision are you been doing stand-up any or no not really i've been kind of like i said i been really working on my my health okay so i've been like staying i've been doing like some mics and a couple shows here and there but mostly i've been just working on focusing on health is important yeah because i've been turning on everything people wanting me to do podcasts I'm like, nah, I'm just trying to...

48:31And then I didn't say anything, but my great aunt passed away in November. So it's kind of been like I've been in the haze, and I'm still in that haze, but it feels good. I'm like, oh, okay. I'm just going and taking each day versus me saying, what's next? What do I got to do tomorrow? That's right. Well, what do we do?

48:49Bobby Lee:What do we do now is more important. How do we get through right now? Well, staying present. Present is important. Yeah. It's a big thing in the program. It's the only thing. That's what I'm saying, saying now, being here now. The only real thing is the present moment. Be here now. My mother used to say when I used to worry on the phone, she would always be like, all right, all right, now bring it back, bring it back. You're going too far ahead. Stay right here in the moment. Bring it back. So she would always, that's what I hear. I always hear when I'm thinking, man, what I'm going to do next?

49:18Why is this that? Bring it back. Bring it back. It's a great way to coach yourself and keep yourself in this moment because like they say, what's the saying? Anxiety is in the future. depression is in the past the moment of solidarity and peace is now

49:35Bobby Lee:that's right or they say you never assume why because you really don't know no because if you assume you make an ass out of you and me that's right

49:47you didn't know that Tino don't do this I was setting him up

49:51Bobby Lee:did you know that or no I felt like you didn't know I was in third grade everyone's heard you want to do more let's do more i don't know anymore uh oh i know i know i know i know if you have one foot in front of the future yeah i'm doing that one now and you have one foot in the past you're pissing on today oh wow that's actually pretty good that's actually very good yeah you never heard that one no i'm asian we know these things okay yeah we're both what about the one that's uh please don't make one up.

50:22Yeah, give me one.

50:24Bobby Lee:Yeah, yeah, from Chicago. Go ahead. No, no, no. I was going to do one of your people's. Okay, go. What's the Asian thing about the tree, the plant the tree? Do Asian saying planting trees. Asian saying planting trees. Watch. It'll pop it up right. They have a video. Okay, there. Zoom in. The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is now. Take action immediately. That's a very good one. Yeah, very good. See, I'm Asians, man. You guys have all of the, this is where it all came from. Because if we don't do that, we go. So you found a stronger relationship with God to help you kind of refocus life then?

51:01Bobby Lee:Yeah, I've always. I know you have, but I mean, now it sounds like you're more focused. Yeah, because it's like. Are you going to church? Nah. Yeah. You don't need to go to church. Hold on, hold on. I used to go all the time. I just, since COVID, I haven't been in a while. That's fine. Yeah, so it's kind of like... Are you scared of Hantavirus and Ebola and all these new viruses that are coming about, or no? Nah. You should. You got COVID seven times. Yeah. I got a good-ass memory. He remembers all my goddamn tragedies this guy. You did have COVID more than anyone I've ever met. Yeah, yeah. Seven times.

51:36Bobby Lee:I was mad. Even myself, I said, how the fuck I keep getting this shit? I'm like, I'm sick of it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I said, Starbucks in the goddamn cookies. Yeah. But I want to warn you, though, with Hantavirus and Ebola, if it's not going to spread. I'm sorry. Easy. What? Such bullshit. He's on this kick. It's not coming around. You know what's more likely? The fucking Garden Grove factory that's about to explode here in LA. Oh, I know that one. Infecting us. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Or Gardena. I'm just saying, hypothetically,

52:05Bobby Lee:if these two diseases mutate and they become airborne, it spreads like COVID, right? You got to be more careful. Remember the Ebola case in Dallas? What? This just happened before. This ain't the first time. No, it's not the first time. It happened in Dallas and a couple other places. There's also no active cases spread within the United States. It's contained. Oh, yes, alternate news, I think. Oh, great. Can I just say something? Sure. Viruses want to survive, right? And because of global warming and because of the cutting down of the rainforests, right, these viruses mutate. Stop it. Right? They do.

52:37Bobby Lee:they mutate because they're fucking scientists are trying to kill us that's why they mutate well that's another theory that covid came from a lab no it's not a theory that's a literal fact that came from a lab oh yeah and purposely put upon absolute the world yeah to cause right so if they do it with ebola would have which has a 50 you know then um if they do this again we they won't give us a warning shot it's just gonna happen that's my point and i'm concerned about dog he's got stones in his liver. He's got all kinds of... Hey, you're going to die for whatever you're going to die. No, no, no.

53:08I don't want you to die. You know what I mean? That's how I'm just saying. No, that's how I go.

53:10Bobby Lee:You got it seven times. Wear a fucking mask, man. That's all I'm asking, dude. You know what I mean? I don't want to wear a fucking mask. No, dude. You can't free ball Hantavirus, dude. You got to wrap it up, dog. You got to wrap it up, dude. Fuck that shit. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No, you're not going to get... I'm courageous in the fear of death. I'll face it.

53:33Bobby Lee:It's gone. Yeah. But now Ebola is a whole thing. And, you know, it's like, I don't know. Hantavirus is primarily located in two continents and neither of them are here. And the hotspots are not here anymore. Okay. The Four Corners is a region. They're monitoring the states, but it's not going to get around. Also remember, too, the seven times I caught the coronavirus was mutated strings, right? You know what I'm saying? So what I'm trying to tell you is just maybe I got more antibodies to fight off more things than you do in yours because you haven't had enough. Oh, all right. He needs to get every version of Nike.

54:13Bobby Lee:Yeah, yeah, yeah. He got all the strains. That's why I started following the UFO. I'm about to start following the UFO situation. Give me one of them, one of them, one of them. Doc collects coronavirus like black guys collect Jordans. or like chris tucker on rush hour i want the foes i want the five i'm just concerned for your health that's why i'm saying it no i'm all right well is it attacking black people then it would be more scary for doc is it is hanta going after black people no i don't think so well then it wasn't made the right way it wasn't racist oh god damn yeah yeah well no you think you think you think do you not think that the government's uh tried to put viruses and stuff out there to attack black people, you think that's ever happened?

54:56I think that that's a possibility. I think we've got proof of it. I think they've done that towards a lot of different populations. I think so too, yeah. I think so too, yeah.

55:04Bobby Lee:We've done nothing to these Asians. Yeah, yeah. What? Tina, you love the Asians, goddamn. They just as dumb as us. I don't know why you - Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What, just because you invented peanut butter doesn't mean that you can - And a stoplight, and a stoplight. And a super soaker. Don't forget about hitting figures. And there was eight black scientists on the - Oh yeah, eight figures, that's right. There was eight black scientists who helped create that atomic bomb. Let's get it. You also created a clothes dryer, this home security. Man, we'd be all day. Now irony, you guys created home security.

55:34Bobby Lee:It's so funny. Now we know how to break in. You're Captain America now? Huh? You're Captain America now. What does that mean? There is a black man playing Captain America now. Oh, it is? You're Captain America now. Isn't it or am I wrong? Not my country. This is starting to get me. Yeah, yeah. You know, this is DEI shit. Stop it. Anthony Mackie. Anthony Mackie is Captain America. The Harrison Ford one. So he went from being the other guy to - Captain America, yeah. Who was he before that? The Falcon. The Falcon. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Man, that sucks, man. Why? Why? Why? Because it's like - You don't want him to be - Captain America being white is okay.

56:14It's like, stop.

56:16Bobby Lee:Yeah, it's like, man, stop, man. Oh, come on. That's crazy. What you're saying is nuts. anybody can be Captain America. No, no, no. What I'm saying is the original characters, where they were drawn, it's cool. It's just the comics. Yeah, but wait a minute. I agree, but they've deviated from all that now. It doesn't matter. Nothing means anything. To me and Doc, it does. Okay. Okay, so here's another. I'm going to tell you a true story. I know a Korean actor. It sounds like I'm not the white guy. Isn't this crazy? Like, I'm fine with it because I don't give a fuck. Why does it matter? The original one.

56:49Bobby Lee:Okay, How about this? How about this? I agree with you on certain... Can James Bond not be British? He should be British. Right. Right. He has to be British. Yes. But does it matter what color he is? No. Because he's not from comics. That's all I'm saying. Yeah, that's all I'm saying. But comics books were colored. They were crayon. There was coloring. But there's descriptions on who the person was, right, in the comics. Did it say Captain America was a white male? He was drawn always as a white male. He was a white guy. That's because color costs more money. All right. I know this Korean actor who was almost, right, and I can't say his name.

57:27Bobby Lee:I couldn't agree with them more, which is so funny. They're playing devil's advocate. But even though I'm like, yeah, Captain America's white. God damn it. I know a Korean actor who came to me and goes, I think they might want me to play Wolverine. And I was like, please say no. Why? It'll ruin it. Yeah. Wolverine's Canadian, white dude, short, thick. You know what I mean? It's like, I am Wolverine. Wolverine. And there's chopsticks coming out. There's Wolverine.

57:59Bobby Lee:You can't. All right. Yeah. Yeah. No, I know what you're saying. The original, that's what you want. I get it. It's not a big deal. I guess I don't give a fuck. It's not a big deal what you're saying. I don't give a fuck. I know you don't. How about this? I'm more mad that any redheaded comic book guy has been recast by non-redheaded fucking, they don't put any redheaded people, and there were redheaded. Well you're weaker Interesting. It's harder to believe that a redheaded guy Jean Grey By the way they've made every redheaded comic, half of them are black now whatever redheaded person before they're black They're all hot girls.

58:32Bobby Lee:Most of them There's a whole cartoon drawing of all the reddit, that's probably. No you're not weak, I'm sorry for redheaded people. I mean even Storm wasn't white, we know that Halle Berry played Storm right yeah so we it's just like it just seemed like they just they're having a struggle internally with what is right and what is wrong and they're just so like it doesn't matter in the sense of what you're saying i just don't i'm just talking about just for the comics i don't care it's a movie but that's what that's my point is it doesn't matter who plays it because it's meaningless anyway it's just kind of like saying like who cares what the original not when you're a comic fan okay right i'm not a comic fan so they're making new they're making new comics now with a variety of different colors of people right and in 20 or 30 years from now those roles will be played by you know i mean people that no not white you know what i don't like people ain't gonna like this y 'all gonna get mad yeah i don't like that rdj is playing dr doom why yeah speak your mind I'm like bro I'm used to him just being Iron Man and now y 'all gonna move it's just like yeah there's other actors yeah there's more people but Hollywood is so afraid but there's not there are no there's hundreds of thousands of actors but they don't that doesn't mean anything to them they're not as great because it doesn't move the needle for them so they're this is a business they're not basing it on who's available or what could be cool they're basing it on how much money can they render from this why can't Leo play Doctor Doom he probably doesn't want to oh my god I would've been there's no way Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

1:00:02Bobby Lee:I mean, there's some... Daniel Day-Lewis. He would never do that. Tom Cruise said no, too. Tom Cruise said no. They don't want to do it. I don't want to do Marvel. So you're saying to me, I'm sorry, they went all the way down the line and got back to Robert Downey Jr. He was the last pick. I guarantee you he wasn't first because Tom Cruise got up... A bunch of people got offered. I think it was just Tom Cruise, then RDJ. They only wanted, like, the biggest movie star. Brad Pitt. No, I don't... He would never do that. Yeah, they don't go after people. We try. Give him an offer. I don't think he would.

1:00:30Bobby Lee:Okay. certain guys in this game that are of the top of their career and the end of their career or whatever that this is not how old is dr doom but isn't marvel i want to know how old dr doom is say it again but do you feel like marvel and dc and all these they're at a point where you can't you pretty much can get anybody that's great at acting and that has a certain they don't have to be a big name like robert donald jr just because it's already solidified as a franchise no but it It sells internationally so much better. So, Doctor Doom is in his mid-40s and early 50s. In the MCU, he's 60 in the movies.

1:01:07Bobby Lee:Okay, but I'm just saying, in the comics, he's in the mid-40s, early 50s. That's me and you, bud. Why can't you and I do it? Give me all the actors that are in their late 40s and early 50s. That's a good question, Tino. If they had Doctor Doom and wanted you to play it, I'd be like, fuck that. That right there, that's... He wore something. Can I do it? I wear a mask. No, no, no, no, no, no. You're not getting it. I'm saying fuck that you can't play that guy like no man why why why Tino's not he's not Dr. Doom material he's too nice he's a good guy I don't feel like he can come off I would have to see you play an evil dude you know what I'm saying I do it on this show every week wait a minute you're definitely not how big was he was he a full sized man Dude, I'm the rest of my body Okay Alright, so Born in 72 These are the actors they could have gone to Ben Affleck The Rock Marlon Wayans Idris Elba Oh, but He wouldn't do it Yeah, yeah, okay So Adrian Brody could have been it It's a different mask with a nose Okay I love Patrick Wilson I love James Marsden 74 DiCaprio Would never do it Christian Bale Maybe No, he already played Batman He can't do it Joaquin Phoenix Joker already.

1:02:26Bobby Lee:Matthew McConaughey. Perfect. Dr. Doom. Insane to say that. How could he play that? Would you rather have Matthew McConaughey? Oh yeah. He would have been his voice. Oh man. All right. All right. All right. Dr. Doom. Maybe you're right. You got to get what's available. All right. You're right. Okay. But also it doesn't, I just think it doesn't, I think, how about this? I don't care what color person plays any of this stuff make new shit dude yeah i don't want to revive old properties i don't like did you see weapons that was new shit that's new shit there's a new movie i'm going to see tonight or tomorrow night obsession i heard it's really good oh i heard that's really good no i just hear it so good have you seen it it's really good yeah yeah more of this needs to make a wave and a comeback i watched the hulk hogan documentary last night i finished it all three episodes this guy what is it on netflix netflix okay yeah i'm pass well it's funny because i'm not a wrestling fan but i was enamored by the idea of this guy.

1:03:24I was a huge wrestling fan when I was in the 80s, but once it got past Stone Cold, I kind of tapped out.

1:03:31Bobby Lee:You tapped out. Well, this was kind of about the world of his in and out of lasting longer than maybe he should have and then the world of NWO and ECW and all that stuff. Tonga the Kid was my guy. Remember Tonga the Kid? Mm-mm. You don't remember Tonga the Kid? Oh, there he is, Senpato. That's my guy. Oh, yeah, no wonder why I remember him. That's like... This guy. What do you mean? I mean, look at him. I know. There's nothing exciting about him. It's like every woman you've ever dated. I mean, everybody got their own. No, but it was an interesting doc. It was weird. It was cool to see because I remember it as a kid, but I wasn't a wrestling fan.

1:04:06Bobby Lee:But the impact was wild. I forgot how popular. He was huge. Bigger. I mean, he was like, they quoted him as one of the most recognizable faces in the world. Probably. Not namesake, because name, yes, but that you could show his picture to a foreign country of, you know, far in the middle of nowhere, they'd be like, oh, yeah, they know who that is. They don't know what he is, but they know who he is. Yeah, yeah. It's fucking wild. It's wild. I mean, there's a few people like that in the world, Michael Jackson being one. Yeah, but think about it. Michael Jackson was a musical genius. Yes. And he was a, you know what I mean, athlete.

1:04:42Well, Hulk Hogan was kind of in his own right because WWF is strictly acting. No, it's real.

1:04:49Bobby Lee:Yes, it's real. It's real. That's the myth. It's real to me, Dad! That clip is so good. That's the myth of pro wrestling that it's fake. It's not. No, I'm hungry, dude. Right? No, no, the physicality of it is real. Yeah, Hulk Hogan picks up Tonga the Kid, right? First of all, he picked up fucking Andre the Giant, which was the greatest. Yeah, Andre the Giant, right? Let him have his phone. Yeah, exactly. Throws him over the ring. You know what I mean? Andre the Giant falls on a table, right? You don't think that hurts? No, no. I'm saying the physicality is real. Yeah. But it's - You think it's predetermined?

1:05:25Bobby Lee:It's a play. 100%. No, no, no. It's not - Oh, so before you think they go, you're going to win this one? Yeah. It's like a movie fight. Everybody knows that, but that's the fun of it. It's like watching them drama unfold. It doesn't matter that they know - And by the way, he does say you do a dance with your partner sometimes. It may flip in the moment of who wins and who doesn't win. It's a play. They're doing a live play. Yeah. It's fun. I mean, they're like theater kids who love to lift weights. It's really what it is. You're like a theater guy that loves lifting weights. But it was - I want people to know that I know how wrestling works.

1:05:59What in Hulk Hogan? But what in Hulk Hogan?

1:06:04Bobby Lee:Hulk Hogan's move - But some people do get deep in it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What? He had... The leg drop. No, no, no, no, no, no. What people loved about Hogan was that last minute of being down and out and making a spring back. Because that represents... That encapsulates... Rocky. Everything. It was Americana. Yeah, of being down and then he put the finger up and that's you. Yeah. Somebody who just...

1:06:34Bobby Lee:That moment. and people are going, oh my god! You know what I mean? I watched the whole thing. I just wanted to see the sex tape more than anything. Wow. They never played it. They never played it. Oh, yeah. Wow, wow. They do leave out a lot of stuff. They do give him his flowers, especially because he died three months after the documentary was finished. Right. So they do give him his flowers, but they leave out so much fun, interesting shit. They leave out a lot of these documentaries. They leave out a lot. Too much. Yeah. So let's talk about Doc a little bit more. Doc, how do you feel being back?

1:07:02I feel great as far as just, you know, This is just one episode for right now. Like I said, I'm -

1:07:06Bobby Lee:He's not back forever. Yeah, yeah. He's coming back to say hi. Well, and to let the fans have some peace and some ease about it. Because they don't know. They were speculating. Yeah, yeah. A lot of them. And man - Well, can I tell you my dream? Yeah. The funniest part about Bobby, he goes, let's talk about you, Doc. And then stop him. Straight back to his fucking - Oh, yeah, no, please. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. You're right. You're right. Let him have the floor. I'm sorry. Have the floor. I'm sorry. I mean, he played it. We had a court case an hour ago. Yeah, I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

1:07:34Bobby Lee:I'm sorry. Go ahead. What was I saying? I'll tell you, you were saying how the fans, when you departed. Man, y 'all have no fucking clue. I mean, you know, but you don't know based on the opposite side of where I was on. I had people stop me walking in the streets of New York. Like, hey man, go back to Bad Friends. I'm like, are you fucking? I go to the grocery store. They stop me. I go to every fucking where it's always somebody. I'm just like, fuck. And so it was like, that's why I kept telling y 'all, I'm going to do this episode. I got to come back and just make sure. And then just to just, because he already know he's been forgiven because we already texted and we saw each other.

1:08:10And now we talked in front of the improv. So he already knows that. Yeah. But it's mostly for him and the fans and all of us. It's like there's this camaraderie we have and we have it even when we see each other on the streets and go play like we did the SOH VSA shit. And we just, you know, there's this thing that goes beyond podcasting, goes beyond. So I just wanted to let the fans remind you all that that's what it's about, punk asses.

1:08:38Bobby Lee:You know how this all started, right? So I had been texting with Doc anyway, and I was in the Dominican Republic for my sister's wedding. And I saw a man that looked like Doc. And I texted him and I said, dude, I saw a guy that looks exactly like you. And it made me think of him. And we just started chatting. And he said he maybe would come back on the show. And I said, well, you holler when. I said, well, we're going to be doing it. And I get back. He's like, I'll come through. And I think it was about time. That's him. That's who. No, that's not. I call it just finding black guys on the internet.

1:09:15Bobby Lee:I grew a black man. Would you? Black guys in the Dominican Republic? You know, my sister sent me a picture because I remind her of Asians all the time. So she sent me a picture. The size. The intermittent fasting, the side, the Japanese walking. Oh, yeah. So many things. Well, a lot of people do that. They're like, you ate with you, mixed with Asian. I said, no, I'm not fucking. But she sent me a picture, texted me a picture of the guy that had the winning streak for Wheel of Fortune this past time, the Asian guy. And she sent me a picture. She said, every time I watch, it reminds me of you. I'm like, what the fuck?

1:09:53Bobby Lee:Who is the guy who's winning a lot? Yeah, yeah. That guy? Yeah. The last, no, that's not him. Oh. Wheel of... 2026. That guy? Yeah, that guy. So let me tell you, remember I had the same kind of glasses. So I put up the picture on Instagram of me and him side by like, and they'll say, damn, and it'll look like, I'm so fucking alert. That does kind of look like it. Now, could you play him in a movie? I think I would allow it. I could. Me too. I would allow it. If I was the producer. You know who I could play in a movie? Who? Hart. If Hart was a bartender and if he was famous, I could play Hart. That's so funny.

1:10:30Who's Hart? From the store. Oh, you can.

1:10:33Bobby Lee:You miss Hart? They always think me and him brothers. We see each other. He call me all the time. Oh, I love Hart. Yeah, I love Hart. Same fashion, Doc. Can I express my dream? Please. Doc, can I express my dream? What's your dream? Okay. I know it's one time, okay? But if I may express my dream. I'm sorry I have to say it Dream away I want to dream away Dream away My dream is that we can eventually Eventually Slow start Get to where We were once Were You know what I mean Where you're Popping in and out Right Eventually that we could go on tour You and I And Doc could do the tour with us Go all over the world and that's my dream.

1:11:19Bobby Lee:I think for me, it's like, I want a redemption story as well and I want to give him the appreciation that he deserves. He was a vital part of our show. I feel like I fucked it up. I apologize to you. Oh, my bad. My bad. Where were you at? You said make amends. Keep going, Bob. All right, okay. You know, the fasting makes you tired. Yeah, it makes it tired. It makes you die. A little sleepy. Anyway, look in the camera and say thank you for being a bad friend. Thank you for being a bad friend. Love and miss you. Wow.

1:12:20Bobby Lee:I sold my car in Carvana last night. Well, that's cool. No, you don't understand. It went perfectly. Real offer, down to the penny. They're picking it up tomorrow. Nothing went wrong. So, what's the problem? That is the problem. Nothing in my life goes to smoothie. I'm waiting for the catch. Maybe there's no catch. That's exactly what a catch would want me to think. Wow, you need to relax. I need to knock on wood. Do we have wood? Is this table wood? I think it's laminate. Okay, yeah, that's good. That's close enough. Car selling without a catch. Sell your car today on Carvana. Pickup fees may apply.
