37:44You did seem really frustrated and even upset when this accusation kind of started. And you said, it's hard because I feel like I'm supposed to be exploring both connections when I am feeling like I kind of can't. Did you feel in any way like this was hindering your experience and you couldn't be you almost like didn't want to be honest in a way? Yeah, it did make me like be like, can I even be honest with him? Cause I felt like he would probably take some steps back. And all of our conversations right before the one like that they showed on movie night, that was our best conversation. And that was, that was the deepest we had gotten.

38:21And I wish it was like that the whole time, because when he got back from Casa, he's like, he even told me, we were playing volleyball together. And he's like, all the guys are saying I really changed and came out of my shell. And like, I am who I am. Like, and I'm like, I wish it was like that the whole time because it just it it wasn't you know shortly after this you end up kissing Corbin and you did feel like you needed to keep a secret what was your main reasoning behind that I didn't want the whole house to blow up and neither did he um Melanie was sleeping in soul ties uh and I think that it was because she would hear that we kissed and made her feel weird so she would sleep and soul ties.

39:04She also missed sincere. And then Caleb, it was like, you know, he was watching me already at the dock. He didn't want us to kiss. And I was telling him the whole time that I still wanted to pursue Corbin. So I was communicating with him. So I just didn't understand. But I didn't want him to take steps back because I just wanted to move forward. If we kept talking about that, it would just be going in circles, just talking about me and Corbin with him all the time. Why do you think Caleb was not exploring any other connections when you were so clear that you wanted to explore multiple? I don't know why he didn't explore other connections because I was telling him I'm exploring.

39:43Please explore. I just think that he was coming in for me. And that's awesome. I did say I want a guy that's all about me. So maybe he just thought that it would have worked. Okay, let's clarify that movie night moment you just said. Movie night, we as viewers saw more context that we didn't originally see. The next morning after your secret kiss with Corbin, you had a chat with Caleb where you told him, I just want to be more focused on you and growing our connection and getting deeper because that's the only way we're going to get closer. I think that outside of this our lives would collide very easily and then you and Caleb kissed talk to me more about the intentions of that conversation especially after what we saw is that came right after you kissed yeah Corbin and kept that a secret the night before yeah um I did just I had no idea there would be a recoupling that night and I did still very much want to pursue Caleb and I after we had that conversation that was at the ending of it and And I'm like, wow, I'm actually getting this energy from him that I had not gotten.

40:46So I did. I was like, I'm feeling him a lot more than I had been for the past couple of days. And then right after that chat, it literally was like recoupling. And then it was me taking a couple of minutes being like, who do I like more? And my heart was still with Corbin. It's just I wasn't able to tell him that. And even after I talked to him after the recoupling and I was like, I want you to know, like, none of that was fake. It was all genuine. I do still have feelings for you. And he just said he was like, well, that doesn't matter. I guess like what mistakes do you think you made within that dynamic?

41:22I think I told him that I did just want to, like, pursue him and talk to him, which I definitely shouldn't have said. Like, that was like, that's not fair to him at all. And it made him think that I was going to pick him that night, which I feel awful for because he wrote the sweetest letter to me. and it broke my heart like to be standing there in front of the mailboxes and see how it went down and just like everything well now he's in vegas like djing and like hanging with harry yami like he's fine he's fine um in that next elimination round where you and corbin did recouple with the mailbox challenge soul and gabe went home but corbin let you know that your name had been considered for elimination and when you confronted the boys casey told you that the reason you are considered is because of you kind of giving similar reasons to Gabe.

42:09You seemed upset by that comparison. You said, I haven't been as lustful like Gabe has been moving. How do you think you and Gabe moved differently in the villa? I think Gabe's an awesome person, but he likes to kiss more and, you know, get into it faster. And I do tend to move a little bit slower than him. And I don't feel like any of my connections were lustful. It was based on an actual communication and talking like me and Corbin I wasn't fully into him until after having a conversation with him me and Caleb it took a minute for me to be like oh I actually I kind of like him he's cool so yeah that was such a big conversation in the villa this year of like lustfulness like what is the definition of lustful in the villa feel like lustful is just like you're only attracted to them because of their looks and you look amazing you're hot everyone's hot like what say something about my intelligence say something about my hobbies say something about me and who I am my family yeah um okay let's go to casa more yay this was so big this season honestly every producer we were like you need a raise they did their big one like you guys thought that you were getting ready for the heart rate challenge you come down and I actually think it was the worst gift in love island history you guys get a video of the men in casa more yeah having the heart rate challenge with the casa more girls and you're like yeah fuck no yeah no literally i was just going like our jaws dropped what did you expect to be corbin's experience when you realized he had left before you saw the live stream i thought he definitely wouldn't hold back i didn't think he would i think he would have explored but i thought our connection was really good so i was i was feeling good about our connection in a way yeah yeah we loved the live stream as viewers we were like oh hold these men accountable because we had had so many moments as viewers being like none of these women know what these men are actually saying behind closed doors like put them on blast please understandably you were so angry watching corbin and casey basically joke together about him immediately leaving you before he even had a conversation with these women he saw them and was like yeah i'm out yeah like i'm completely going back with someone different had you ever been publicly disrespected like this no i've never been publicly disrespected like that um it wasn't just the out of the window thing because apparently he didn't say that it was casey but um yeah i just don't take disrespect like that also my family seeing that um i know what my dad would say he'd be like fuck him like like my husband would never say that so i'm not gonna waste another minute um you kind of didn't waste another minute though because i was gonna say you really handled it with grace babe you um we watched you just basically drop down into the split it was kenzie it was the clam slam that was heard all the way at casa more heard around the world it was like you just everyone's like making their grilled cheese and you're like bam bam bam bam everyone was like well i guess we'll eat because there's no men coming in i'm like ah fuck y 'all literally fuck you guys is that typically how you let out your anger i mean it did help it definitely helped and i loved it i should like shit but i was so pissed Like, what else am I going to do?

45:37I had been one, I had all day shaking my ass upstairs in our room. My arms were sore the past three days after that. Like, I was ready to fucking dance. I'd been ready to dance since before I came on the show. I was like, heart rate challenge, heart rate challenge, put me on. So I was pissed. And then thinking that there was still guys to come in and us to dance on, I was like, okay, we're the men, bring them in. And then that didn't happen. I'm like, ah! Kenzie, what the fuck were you doing with your arms? Why are your arms so horrible? Oh, I was on like a chair like twerking. Melanie was teaching me how to like rue my ass.

46:11So was Anaya. Oh. Honestly, I think everyone was upset that we didn't get to like really see you do your big one on that. But I just have to like give you your props for that clam slam. Because at first I think America was like, what is this girl doing? Why is she always in the splits? And then it just became iconic. And like I'm assuming you do the splits all the time. Yeah, no, I do it all the time. Every morning. Okay, every morning. okay after you get disrespected by corbin you i think america was like we fucking love this woman because you were like oh i'm so done i'm so done with that man i don't see anything more i'm completely done you literally woke up the next morning you said i'm gonna wear black for his funeral today i am never talking to him again typically is that how you respond in your life when a man disrespects you yeah typically i do um act like that it's from my parents and just my self-worth that I get from them and I just I don't fuck with it I don't fuck with that energy I'm not I'm not gonna shed a single tear and I'm fucking glad I never did over him I feel like so many people caught on to that where they were like it feels like Kenzie has such a good relationship with her parents that you could just feel your relationship even with your dad like it's so precious like can you talk a little bit more about what he's instilled in you yeah so him and my mom like they go on dates every single week he pursues her all the time and I know my man will do the same thing and he would my man will never talk down on me or disrespect me in front of his friends don't matter if he's with his boys that does not fucking matter and that pisses me off like your man can't say whatever he wants just with that's so disrespectful and I'm just not gonna take shit like that no one deserves that no woman deserves to be treated like that no one are you someone i know you didn't have your phones in the villa but like would you hit him with the block would you ghost him like what's your blocked blocked straightaway blocked i'm done you're just hitting the hard block yeah cold turkey bye okay we need to get to dylan yes dylan so while corbin's off in casa more doing his thing you turned your attention to the new boys and you meet Dylan.

48:22What was like immediately attracting you to him? His looks and then also, I mean, I mean, look at him. He's fucking hot as fuck. He's definitely my type. And then he was the first guy that came up to me and he was like, hey, I'm Dylan. Like, I want to talk to you. I can't wait to chat. And I'm like, okay, he's been all about me since day one and put that out there. I even saw that he like drew, when we got to draw the people, he drew me in a split. it like he drew literally me and everyone was just like you know you this is love island you gotta like go on and he's like no i i like her like i'm going for her and he thought me and corbin were in a great relationship so he thought that it was because he hadn't seen the live or anything like that i see didn't know how open i was to pursuing okay another boy that immediately caught your eye was gall yes how did you feel about exploring him when you also knew jen was also gonna explore him yeah so at first i wasn't really interested in gall the first thing he said to me, I was like, I definitely was attracted to him.

49:20I saw him and I was like, um, hi, I'm 24. My name's Kenzie. And he's and he was like, Oh, I was like, how old are you? He's like, I'm 30. But like, basically, it was saying like, 24 was too young. And I'm like, Well, I'm one of the oldest in that in the villa. But okay, good luck, baby. So I just turned literally like, paid him no more attention the rest of the day. But of course, I thought he was attractive. he would be my type out of this as well like I think he's he's fine and he's a nice guy but after that in the like we would be in the kitchen and he was very much flirty and chatty with me saying that he wanted to chat and I was all for it I was like I didn't know that there was anything between us but after talking I was like I'm here on Love Island I'm gonna talk to men dude you got yourself in another pickle because basically you eventually had the opportunity to chat with Gaul.

50:14The vibe was there. You two kissed pretty soon after you told Dylan this and you admitted this to him. But I do think it's important to clarify you had told Dylan and basically every single person in the villa that you wanted to explore Gaul and see if anything was there. And there was no dishonesty this time. There was nothing of that sort. And then when you told him, Dylan started to cry. What was your reaction to him getting so upset, even though you had been so honest? Yeah, I think that me and Dylan just had an amazing day that day, and we got really deep in the conversation, so I don't fault him for his feelings were so valid.

50:52I was wanting to have that conversation with Gall days before it happened, but we got so close, and seeing him emotional like that, I was like, wow, this guy actually cares about me. I was just in a relationship a week before with corbin where he flipped on a dime So it didn't I I didn't know if this was real for anyone else like it was for me And then that helped me let down my guard with him because I was like damn he cares about me Yeah, dude How did you feel when you saw that all of america thought that he was giving fake tears? I know that actually crushed my heart It really, really did crush my heart because I don't think anything about him is fake at all.

51:35And even since we got off, like the first thing I said to him, I was like, do you still like me? And he's like, yeah, of course. Like I was honestly scared. And then in our hotel room, we've basically been in the hideaway like every single day. And he is exactly the same as he is off camera. And even his friend Brandon said that. And that helped so much on family day when he I was like, oh, my gosh, like finally like this guy's true he's real he's not doing it for the fucking cameras he's not yeah and he's not even seeing that people were saying he's an actor like what he's been in one music video like he didn't even say a word what are you talking about he's been in a music video it's like in a camaro or some shit and he's like they flip in the car and he's like making out with her it's so la yeah yeah i was just like oh my god um okay let's go back to movie night quickly when the video showed the clips between Caleb and Corbin, where you basically told Corbin when I was kissing him, I was thinking of you.

52:35And then we see you say to Caleb, I feel like I have more in common with you than I do with Corbin. Yeah. What was going through your head when you had to watch this in front of all of your peers? Oh, my God. I was like, fuck. No, literally, I was like, this is about to be so fucked. But honestly, seeing it, I was like, OK, that was that was shitty of me and I shouldn't have gone about it and said certain words that I did and I could see more of why Caleb felt so let on and it it made me feel awful and I just I wanted to take that time like I I was processing it and I'm like okay like that I'm sorry I I didn't want to hurt anyone well I think it was refreshing because you took accountability right away and we watched that movie night so many people be like well but did it out when it came to their issues you were immediately like yeah I fucked up I was wrong yeah but I think something that rubbed people the wrong way was it felt like Dylan was kind of just like adding on to the fire because he was like I just felt like I watched the entirety of last night on repeat what was confusing is from what we understood the Casa boys like saw a lot of the season prior to them coming in so he was fully aware of how you had been moving in the dynamic with Caleb and Corbin how did it feel to kind of have your character be questioned by someone you were in a relationship with yeah definitely it definitely yeah it didn't feel good um I had conversations with him and I was like that hurt that you did jump in on that but at the same time it was in front of his face more like that was just in front of my face and I could see how I was doing that it's different I I feel like when you're just watching it.

54:17And also I knew he was scared because he doesn't want me to do that to him. And I probably would feel the same way if I was watching it on the other side. And he kept harping on it. But I do think now, again, I think we all as viewers have to recognize there's such heightened emotions in this villa. And there's so much going into it that it's like seeing it in 4K. Yeah. It's going to cause a lot of emotion. Yeah. The girls in the villa really let you know they did not approve of how you were moving. Kato went as far to say it's giving sincere. What did it feel like to hear that? Definitely hurt.

54:52But I, I listened to them like, I hear them out. And if that's how everyone was seeing it, then I'm gonna take it with a grain of salt. But yeah, it hurt. I was very emotional, crying in the shower a lot, like just feeling hurt. Jaden was the only one that came up to me and was like, I don't think you did anything wrong, babe. And I lost her later during the compatibility challenge and that sucked. And then like Jen, she tells me straight up how she feels, but she always supported me. And yeah, it was hard. Aside from the one secret kiss you had, you were so upfront with Caleb. Sincere was repeatedly lying to Melanie and essentially everyone in the villa and Casa Moore through his entire experience.

55:37What are some examples that you can give that highlights how different your situation was to Sincere's. Yeah, I feel like he did lie a good bit to not only Melanie, but like some other girls and his guy friends, hence why Corbin picked him in like the challenge too. I never called them any names, like fake promises. And I tried to be as open as possible to who I was talking to. and I know he said something about like when he was in casa about like it was a test for him a little bit which I don't ever feel like any of my connections were at me testing another connection with someone else it was just me seeing if we could connect on that level there was never any who's better kind of thing you know quickly after movie night we saw a lot of the women in the villa support sincere even being like i'm team sincere like fully supporting him even after watching him on 4k why do you think the girls were holding you to a different standard i don't know why the girls were holding me to a different standard than sincere it especially like after getting out it does feel like sexist almost because i'm like i'm not a male and it's like i can't move like them maybe and I don't know yeah it felt it was hard I didn't feel that um supported at that time except from like Jaden did you feel like because I I can imagine Kenzie like you're blindsided again not only because they're treating you that way they're supporting sincere who is doing 10 times worse than you like do you feel like that impacted your friendships for a little bit Yeah, probably a little bit just when you don't feel as supported as you want to feel from your friends.

57:31But we did get over it and we talked about it. But yeah, definitely hurt. Is there any moment that comes to mind from your Love Island experience where you felt like you were being judged for exploring completely unfairly considered what the men were doing in the villa, like another double standard that you can think of? probably just like my love triangles and just getting shit on and me feeling like I couldn't talk I wasn't allowed to talk to two people at once talk like it just made no sense in my mind I'm like where are we right now I'm I'm very confused and feeling like I was just getting shit on over and over for exploring when no one was closed off so it's like that's I think a lot of the viewers felt that way and they were frustrated in some capacity with the season And I think people loved when Soul was like, this is Couples Island.

You and Melanie, it looked like, did you leave the fire pit? Are you allowed to say? I'm not sure, honestly. I might have been taking a shit or something. There's no way you left. they were mid fight and it seemed like you weren't at the fire pit were you at the fire no i was at the fire pit then i was oh you were yes i was when tt entered and was like i'm tt you were there i was at the fire pit i was like this i was like holy crap she was like oh you're a little girl i was like oh fuck okay you were there yeah and you were there the whole time yeah okay good to know we needed to hear that i never left no you weren't taking a shit no um how did you feel about trinity calling zach and kate's exclusivity a situationship okay um i don't agree with that i really don't um exclusive being exclusive that's what my parents said they would like i just see it as my parents were dating for seven months the first thing my dad said to my mom is can we please be exclusive because they were dating other people and that's a step in the right direction to me and he zach he just wants to ask her outside of here and have it just be them and I think that's like romantic as fuck he wants to do something more romantic with her so I don't agree with that comment um great like a situation ship is when you're like with a fucking group of friends and you're just fucking like and it's like oh you're hot you're hot I'm hot what is this lingering beef with Parmita I don't know I don't know I feel like I've apologized a ton of times so I don't know what more I can do and then when I said like I love you to her It's because she was leaving and I just wanted to give her compassion and love at that time.

1:05:36And then using it against me. I don't know. I don't know. I was actually shocked at like after Sun. Well, your response was so fucking perfect. Were you surprised when on after Sun, Titi said that she wouldn't be friends with certain people after the villa? I was a little surprised, but I do get where she's coming from. because after we did the music or like the little karaoke dance, she felt like a lot of people were shocked by her being chosen, her and KC, which I think we were just kind of more shocked that Kata and Zach weren't in the top four than that. But I think that, of course, her feelings are valid.

1:06:14There's reasons she feels the way she feels. Okay. You guys, after Post Villa, went to Hibachi the other night and a video started circulating from soul's live stream someone's talking about melanie in the background we hear something along the lines of it was always the melanie show some anyone who was close to her got to stay like it sounded like light shit talking there was speculation at first it was you then there was speculation it was jayden tell us what happened me and jayden were definitely like talking about them but not in a awful way like i fucking love melanie and i'm gonna stand by her um she definitely i feel like we were just saying she did did get a lot more screen time than a lot of other people who were in couples that like wanted to talk but it was never any shit talking about her i would never talk shit about my girl and jayden likes her as well so do you think that people are gonna think that you got like that's like oh you guys are jealous because she just got screen time i mean they can think that that's fine but that's that's what we were like talking about.

1:07:17So you were just talking about how she got more attention. Yeah. Yeah. Have you seen all of the brands being like, we will literally give you a year supply of this or we'll give you a car. We'll give you free whatever if you leave sincere. No. Oh, my God. You need to open your phone. Oh, my God. No, it's a lot. Kenzie, it's a lot. That's insane. Okay. Like, what is the biggest difference between day one Kenzie and Kenzie sitting here now? I've changed so much. It's crazy. I still feel like I'm the same exact person, but I've learned how to communicate better. I think going in, I wasn't able to do that as well and getting everyone's feedback.

1:07:55My girls, the guys, I feel like I've changed and I've grown. This experience that like social experiment or whatever the fuck you want to call it has changed me. I'm just, I mean, even all the hate or whatever, it's just like I didn't know I would act so positively about it of just being like I'm just gonna I don't I don't feel anything from it I'm like God knows who I am my family knows who I am my family's proud of me and that's all that matters and my friends like I have them like I I've gained so much from this even just talking to you girl I fucking love you no I love you and I really hope that the energy stays the same because I know that post villa there can be so much drama that comes even more drama somehow um but it seems like you're really happy you and Dylan announced that you are exclusive.

1:08:41Obviously, I know that you live on the East Coast ish. He lives on the West Coast. Like, are we doing long distance? What are we doing? Um, I don't want to do long distance. I want to move here. I was thinking even before the show, I wanted to be a nurse in Miami or California. And everyone was always like, well, good luck with that girl. How are you gonna how you gonna do that? You'll be just fine. Yeah. But now I definitely want to live over here. Wait, so are you going to continue to pursue nursing or do you think you're going to lean into like L.A., Hollywood? I think I'm going to do a little bit of both.

1:09:15I want to continue doing classes online and keep my education going. I also need to take the NCLEX like soon. I don't know when I'm going to have time to study right now. I'm like, I feel like my eyes haven't shut since I've left the fucking villa, but that is definitely on my bucket list. I want to do that and then continue nursing classes.
