Much peace and blessings fire nation. The number one thing that I believe that probably most people disagree with is that failure is not necessary that you need to avoid failure. And for me, that is not the case. For me, I am thankful for my three M's, my maker, my mistakes, my failures and my mentors.
2:42And that's the thing that I encourage for anybody getting started or scaling or growing and looking to get to the next level. And whatever that means for you, there's always a learning curve and we should welcome failure and learn from it. Israel, you believe that discovering our gift and our purpose is going to lead to further direction and impact in our lives. Tell us more. Yes, I believe that your gift will make room for you. and a lot of people are stuck because the educational system here in America doesn't really necessarily teach people their intrinsic gifts and abroad and people are stuck because you know the school systems show them how to take a test and you know how to memorize and then go ahead and submit their answers and that's how really it's from kindergarten all the way to college but in real life and entrepreneurship right and with with the fire nation you know It comes down to really discovering what's intrinsic to you, what sets you apart in this world, and what you have to offer.
3:41And I have found through a series of really accidents, and a car accident specifically, that kind of was used in my life to get me out of my own way to finally serve my gift to the world. And when I did that, doors opened for me, John, that no amount of money could have bought. See, I love when we go through life with this type of purpose, Fire Nation. And you did kind of allude to an accident that you had that brought you, you know, a little further along the way about where you are today. Talk a little bit about that and, again, where you are right now. September 1st, 2018, it's a day that I will never forget.
4:19My daughter, Annabelle, was born, my second daughter, Annabelle. And four days later, I got into a car accident that shaped my future. Really, I call it the catalyst. and it was a car accident that just to make a long story short, completely totaled the car on the highway, was driving very safe, just a freak accident. And I should have not made it, right? I came out of the car accident unscathed. And on that highway, I felt that it was time for me to release what I had inside of me. And I had a book that I was supposed to release a year and a half later from that point, which I actually released within three weeks, John, in two different languages in English and Spanish.
4:58And that book now has opened doors for me again. I couldn't paint a better future. And now, because of that book, I have a business development firm where we help people discover their gifts and design their solutions and deliver it to the world. And it's just been amazing because of a car accident out of all things. And Fire Nation, that's a question that I want to ask you right now. Is it going to take a life altering events like Israel experienced to finally get you to take action. I hope not. Like let's learn from other people's experiences. Now is the time. That book that you've been wanting to write that's maybe a year, two years, three years out, write it now.
5:40Have it out by the end of the month. Why not? Because it's going to open up crazy doors just like it did for Israel, just like it has for me. There's no reason just to not take action and to move forward, especially when it comes to your dreams, your goals, your aspirations, your life. Now, I want to talk about generational because that's something that's very important to you. So talk about generational. Yes, you know, my father stepped into eternity at 29 years old of a massive heart attack. Never really got to know my dad. I was about three months. I was brought up in poverty. My mother lived paycheck to paycheck.
6:16My stepfather came into my life when I was about five years old. And I made a lot of mistakes growing up. And I'm actually the first one in my family to finish my master's degree, first one in my family to start several successful businesses, first one in my family to become an author. And I believe that I'm paving the way for my children's children to do greater things than I have. And, you know, business is amazing. You know, people make income and able to serve people. But think about leaving an impact that lasts long after you're gone through your children. If you have them, it's not your children, the people that you serve, your clients.
6:51And that's really what it's all about for me. And I've been able to pay it forward. I don't believe in giving back because I don't think we owe anybody anything. I believe a lot of people say, hey, giving back. But in reality, you don't owe anybody anything. But paying it forward is really where the generational impact mindset comes from. I want to talk about money and wealth. These are two topics that are on the mind of my listeners for sure. What is the root to both money and wealth in your experience? In my experience, it starts with mindset. And growing up, I used to have a misconceived notion that I used to believe in.
7:30I used to think that money was evil. I was that person that would say that, hey, money is the root to all evil. And what would happen, John, unconsciously, is that anytime I had an opportunity to actually build wealth, to actually have something for myself, I would number one, I would fight it. I would, I would sabotage my own self because subconsciously I was a good person at heart, right? In my mind. And I associated money with being evil. So anytime I had an opportunity to really grow it or multiply, I would just waste it and I would mismanage it. And what I found is many people that, you know, haven't really unlocked wealth and success, which I define as access, have that mindset too or think that they don't deserve more.
8:14And that was the thing that I really had to realign to think and to understand that money is actually good. It's actually the love of money that is the root to all evil and the spirit or the intention behind why you want to actually make money. Because I personally believe that us entrepreneurs and us in Fire Nation are the ones that are actually called to ablaze the marketplace and we're the ones that actually create the economy and allow for families to be able to bring food to the marketplace. So I always tell people that as long as you do good and you walk in integrity and you're serving your fellow human man, that you can make as much money as you want.
8:53And I think people should receive that mindset to really unlock things in their life that they never even dreamed of. Man, Fire Nation, I hope you're inspired right now, especially with what the direction in your life could take when you're doing the right things, when you're looking at it the right way, when you're building the right experiences, the right connections, the right network, making this happen. And we have a lot to talk about, specifically when it comes to build, launch, and scale your gift for Impact Fire Nation when we get back from thanking our sponsors. Success Story, hosted by Scott D.

Israel, we're back. And as I tease before the break, I want to talk to you about how Fire Nation can build, launch, and scale their gifts for impact. That's the key, John. And I feel that everybody has a voice. You know, if you have a gift, if you have something that you love to do, you have a product, a service, you have a nonprofit that you're passionate about, the way that you're going to be able to make an impact is by one-to-one and by one-to-many.
11:22You have to learn how to communicate that gift to the world and you have to get it out And here's the beautiful thing about the time dispensation that you and I live in john I mean right now we're on this amazing platform something that you built up from scratch and I admire your work john And your book as well and Here's the beautiful thing about this. There's people listening to us All over the world all over the u.s Through and by the internet and imagine if you listening on the other side of this podcast finally get out of your own way and you publish that book, you create that PDF, you create that course and you serve it to the world.
12:00Think about the impact that you can make and the people that you can reach. Fire Nation, these are the type of mindset shifts that you're going to have to have if you want to do these things. Build, launch, scale your gift. Now, the reality is, you can listen to a million episodes of Entrepreneurs on Fire. You can read all the books that have ever been written on entrepreneurship and business, but you're still going to make mistakes. But the more that we can avoid, the better. So let's talk about what you consider, Israel, the number one mistake holding entrepreneurs back from making a greater impact.
12:37I think the number one mistake was the mistake that I was going through. Before my car accident, I was doing good. I had two businesses on the side, one in cybersecurity, one in real estate. I was working at essentially a consulting firm, doing a lot there, making good money, decent money. And I was stuck because I was comfortable. And I think the mindset of being comfortable and not having the willingness to go forward, just continue to serve and to serve the people that we're called to serve is really the mistake that people make. It's the inaction. And you mentioned it earlier. It's like people talk about the cost of action.
13:16Like, okay, well, if I'm called to grow my business or scale my business, I'm going to have to invest or I'm going to have to seek out or put in more effort. But if you don't take action, it's also costing you as well. So I would say, John, that the number one mistake that people are making is not really thinking about the cost of inaction. Like if you really thought about it, what would that cost you and cause you to do? What really came up for me when you were just talking there is how good is the enemy of greats? I mean, Fire Nation, a lot of us have it good right now. You've got a good life, a good house, a good job.
13:53You've got good things. But do you want greatness in your life? Are you searching to have massive impact? Are you looking to do what we were talking about earlier, which is build, launch, and scale your gifts? Because people that are doing those things are living that great life. And people that are doing good things, they're sometimes just waiting around for this greatness to come instead of taking action to make that happen. And you actually believe, Israel, that our last success, meaning our most recent success, is our worst enemy. I would love to hear your reasoning why. Yeah, one of my mentors, Dr.
14:34Miles Monroe, he's not with us anymore. He used to say this quote. He used to say, your last success is your worst enemy. Why? because what happens is people get to a level of greatness and then that's where they stay. You hear talking about, hey, I had that great launch and a year passes and then two years pass and then five years pass. And they're like, yeah, remember back in the day when I was this, this, and that. But in reality, that's the enemy of them being able to set new heights, set new levels. You hear about it with offers. Yeah, I'm a best-selling offer back in the day. But where's that new book that you're called to build?
15:08Where's that new business that you're called to launch? Where's that new nonprofit that you're called to establish? This is why I think that when people get a success, you pride yourself on your back, you say thank you, and you go forward to continue to the next step. Because life is a gift, and it's worth living. And I promise you, if you go after your gifts and go after serving other people and don't just worry about the money, you will unlock so much community wealth, which is another topic, that will just bless you and your family and everything you touch if you just continue to do good. Israel, I want you to take the stage here because you've talked about a lot of things.
15:51We talked about building, launching, scaling our gift. Talked about the roots of wealth and money. We talked about generational, what that means. What is the complete message that you want to get through to Fire Nation? After all that we've talked about here today, what is the one thing you want to make sure our listeners really remember and really understand? The one thing that I want the listeners to remember is that your gift is your responsibility. And there's some of you that have cures to help people literally of cancer. There's others that are here listening that have solutions that they feel like they've been stuck and they're about to throw in the towel.
16:31But I'm here to say to you that you have to release that gift to the world because there's people that's been waiting for you. There's people that's been praying for you. And if you persevere and you get it out, I'm telling you, with the right system, right, especially in this day of age where we have social media and we have platforms and we can really serve people, it will bring a profit to your life, not only in the sense of money, but your purpose. And I just want to encourage someone to take action, to continue to scale your business. There's this one thing, John, as well. I remember when I was going to see a real estate property, and this is what gets me really sad.
17:10There was this individual that was across the street, was looking at this investment property. And I went to him and I started to talk to him. He was Spanish from Mexico. And he said to me, you see the house right there? I could buy it in cash. And I said, that's cool. And we started to talk about business. He said he had about 400 clients in the near town. He did landscaping and some other things. And I asked him a question, John. I said, well, what's next for you? And he said, no, I'm good. I have my home. I have money. I'm comfortable. I don't really want to grow. And I had a very, very direct conversation with the guy.
17:40And I said, dude, you're selfish. Now that you have everything that you want, now you just want to sit down and be comfortable, really? What about all the kids? What about all the people that you can impact if you continue to go to the next level and serve your gift and grow your businesses, maybe invest in other things. And I hope he took that message and he continued to grow because his potential was limited because he got to a place of comfort. And I want to encourage anyone listening to me right now, don't let complacency, comfort, keep you from your potential and serving your gifts to the world because that's the responsibility.
18:18Someone asked me the other day, John, they said, Isra, if you can go back five, seven years, what would you say to yourself? And I answered instantly. I said, I would say to myself, discover your gift and begin serving it at all costs. Wow. That's a mic drop, Fire Nation. That last story is going to hit some of you listening quite hard. I have no doubts, but in a good way. And that's what we do here. We challenge you. We want you to push the envelope. We want you to realize that all the magic happens outside of your comfort zone. Not in your comfort zone, outside of your comfort zone. So Israel, if Fire Nation wants to connect with you, wants to learn more from you, give us a call to action.
19:00Yeah, my call to action is simple. I have a free gift waiting for all of you, business owners, nonprofits, individuals that want to share their gift to the world.
