In today's foundation, we'll talk about how reactive training can benefit entrepreneurs who work from home.

37the challenges of bringing something new to the world and how to become the number one solution in a growing industry to a real problem and oh so much more. And a big thank you for sponsoring today's episode goes to Yaniv and our sponsors. Is this your year to grow a successful business? Yaniv, say what's up to Fire Nation and share something that you believe about becoming successful that most people disagree with.

23People think that building a product, mainly if it's a physical product, it has to be separated from different target user groups. and instead of building separate devices for niche market, we've been able to create a versatile product that adapts to athletes, physical therapists, kids, trainers, coaches, and seniors alike. So this challenges the idea that successful products need to be targeted in our user groups. We believe that versatility is the key in a crowded market. And Fire Nation, we'll be diving into this topic and more about the disruption of sports tech with reactive training for the masses.

09So I want to start, Yaniv, by getting into what is reactive training? I think people really need to understand what that is, and why is it becoming essential for athletes at all levels? Athletes at all levels are required to identify visually, process and then take actions physically to things that are happening during a match or on the court. And this entire, these three things that are happening, it's to need to happen in no time. And reacting fast, many times is the difference between winning and losing. And that's why it's so important for athletes and reactive training is actually your, our way or the athletes way, uh, to train measure and improve their reaction time.

04And, and you can see that for example, uh, if you look at formula one drivers, we have max Verstappen is a world champions in the, in the past three years. Uh, and Max is before hitting the direct track every time he, he warms up his neurons to improve split second decision making. such as steering adjustments at extreme speeds. So it's all about your ability to train your body and mind all together to react faster. Give us an example of a pro athlete that we all know. I mean, you just mentioned the Formula One driver, Verstappen, but who's another athlete that has maybe utilized this technology, this opportunity to a great level?

49We just had a few days ago, we saw Laminia Mals, one of Barcelona's leading athletes, is training with blaze sport on fast foot. He needs to move his feet as fast as possible and respond to the visual cues he sees on the field. So that's an example of using reactive training to train your fast foot training. We have Steph Curry training his hand-eye coordination using blaze broad, again, to move his feet, his hands, sorry, as fast as possible and respond to ball movement. These are like the recent two examples by very well-known athletes. Just a little side note. I mean, the last two minutes of the gold medal game in the last U.S.

41Olympics with the men's basketball, Steph Curry was out of his mind. I don't think I've ever seen a better basketball performance at the end of a game than that. It was absolutely insane. But now listen, Yaniv, our listeners are business owners. They're men, they're women, they're working from home, they're working at desks, at cubicles. Let's talk about how reactive training can actually benefit entrepreneurs who are in these situations, people like us, like me right now. entrepreneurs always required to be sharp and concentrated and to take decisions the right way and in many ways what blaze pot does is eliminate fear and hesitation and makes you more in control on your actions and movement and thoughts so it's like it's like training your mind to think clearly.

43So if you, for example, think about a morning routine, training with blaze pot, you end up the training when you're sharp, you're ready to start the day, your neurons have been fired, you're ready to take any challenge. I love that. I mean, I look at my morning routine, I've got to be sharp early in the morning. I do a daily video on YouTube every single morning and it's super early because I get it out very first thing. I want to be sharp. I want to be clear. I want to be on it. And for me, that is a critical component to the success of what I do when it comes to that. Now, one thing we talk a lot about, Yaniv, is the aha moments when that idea happened.

23Because again, our listeners are entrepreneurs, they're small business owners. They've come up with a great idea and then they've put it into action. Or maybe they're searching for inspiration to come up with that great idea. So share your aha moments for BlazePod that led to its creation. Tell us that story. Yeah, that's an exciting story, actually. It all started with an idea to create an interactive playground for kids. But then one day I saw Ronaldo is training with something very similar to what BlazePod is doing in order to improve his reaction time. And when I looked into that product, I figured out there is something extremely expensive, not accessible for everyone, for the mass market.

15And the product was not accessible at all in terms of affordability and usability. and that moment for me was the aha moment realizing that reactive training even though it was such an important factor for many athletes and anyone any person at all it wasn't available for the mass market it was only available for elite athletes and that moment I realized there was a huge opportunity here to open a new category and make this reactive training methodology accessible for all. So Fire Nation, I hope you're inspired when you hear these stories of individuals that are maybe doing something and they're going down a certain path, but they're keeping their eyes open, their ears open, they're looking around.

06And then one action, even if it's in the same or completely dissimilar area, can lead to that idea, to that moment. That's why I always say, hey, listen, when you're outside and you're walking around, you're talking to people, you're seeing things. What are opportunities that are existing right there in that moment? By the way, 99 % of them should not have any, any focus with what you're doing, but maybe 1 % of them, that's it. You hit that home run and you make that happen with that one thing. Now we have a lot to talk about when we get back, but we're going to talk about struggles, data, technology, and so much more as soon as we thank our sponsors.

45Traveling has always been one of my biggest passions. You get to experience different cultures, see places that are impossible to capture through a lens. These are a couple of the many reasons why I'm so excited for my Nepal trip later this year to trek part of Annapurna. So if you're like me and traveling this year, don't let your home just sit there. Host on Airbnb. Even though you might be thinking that hosting will be overwhelming, especially when you're traveling, think again. With the co-host network, it's easier than ever and is also a great way to earn some extra cash. Now you can hire a high quality local co-host to take care of your home and your guests.

22They can do everything from creating your listing to managing reservations to messaging guests and providing onsite support. They can even help with design and styling. So if you've got an extended trip coming up and you need a little help hosting while you're away, you could hire a co-host to do the work for you. Find a co-host at airbnb.com slash host. Yaniv, we're back and we all face struggles in our journey. So share with us the number one challenge that you faced bringing sports tech innovation to the world. There were quite a few, obviously, but I think that for Blazepod, it was mainly about educating the market. Since we were introducing a new category, it required a lot of education and users on the importance of reaction training through tutorials and case studies and testimonials.

28And we still have to work a lot on education, explaining, overcoming the resistance to change. We're talking about a very crowded market with so many opportunities and so many solutions arriving every year for the market. And you have to keep explaining something that people weren't aware of in the past. You know, the trainers and the coaches, they have certain ways they used to train. So it's all about, for us, it was all about market education. Keep working closely with the trainers and coaches, get feedback, and using them, using the community in order to grow the awareness and articulate the importance of this reactive training methodology.

28So this is what I love, Fire Nation, is that we all face challenges and struggles. And Yaniv is no difference. I mean, BlazePod is no different. But how do you react to that? What's the team that you're surrounding yourself with? Are there people that are problem solvers, that are optimistic, that are going to face those head on day to day, week to week, month to month? And of course, as you go forward year to year. Now, Yaniv, I want to ask specifically, how does both data and technology personalize training for athletes and coaches? And then give us a couple examples of this, like how data and technology can personalize training for the athletes and the coaches who are using BlazePod.

04Technology is the tool that helps us create the training, obviously, and collect the data. So it's mandatory to be able to use the technology in the first place in order to create this experience and collect all this data. But then, you know, specifically when you work with athletes, you have to base your training. I mean, a coach or a trainer has to base their training over data. And so initially they paste data to establish specific KPIs. You have to use data to figure out what's the basics, the starting point for an athlete. And then you have to create, they create customized training programs.

49It doesn't matter if it's for rehabilitation or performance or skill-specific development, but it all has to be based on data because the ongoing performance refines plans and ensuring different athletes continuously improve. But each athlete starts from a different starting point. So it has to be based on data and tailor-made to the specific athletes starting point. So Fire Nation, I think it's so key when you realize, hey, how am I going to personalize things for my customers, for my clients? I love customization. I really just go above and beyond when it comes to doing that. I have a couple of products and services that I use and really just these kind of high level one-on-one situations where I can really customize and personalize things for people where they're at.

41And that is so key because we all are starting at a different place. Athletes are starting at massively different places in their journey. And different athletes in different sports need different things as well. And that's just the same thing with you and your customers and your clients. Like that is such a key thing to understand. And you have to realize the importance of this. Now, Yaniv, I always say you need to be the number one solution to a real problem in a growing industry. How does BlazePod accomplish that? How are you standing out amongst the crowd, your competitors? I think it's based on two major factors for us.

19It always has been the accessibility and the versatility. and especially in this crowded market you have to come up with solutions that are highly accessible anyone can use it it doesn't matter if it's a six year old soccer player or a top world class coach they both have to be able to operate and train using the system the same way it's about people using the product in the easiest way possible So accessibility is about user experience and also affordability. It's about making sure the widest audience can afford to get the product. So that's one thing, the accessibility. The other thing is versatility, and I talked a little bit about that at the beginning.

12We believe that by making BlazePod such a versatile product, we were able to penetrate the market much faster and growing faster, providing more and more value for different use cases, athletes, or even different goals for specific sports. So for example, you're a soccer player or a fencing player. You want to train your reaction time, your decision-making, your spatial awareness, your footwork, your agility, your speed, totally different aspects all can be done with blaze sport. And it's the same for many other sports verticals. So soccer, football, martial arts, tennis, volleyball, water polo.

01They all have solutions if they come up with the blaze sport training. So the versatility, we also find it a key factor to our success. Yeni, you shared a lot about your journey here today, but if you could step back for our listeners as an entrepreneur, as a business owner, and give us one key takeaway from your journey that you would want us to know, what would that number one piece of advice be? Being an entrepreneur, especially in the past few years, where the global climate has changed dramatically a few times, and you have to be mentally strong with huge belief of your mission and vision and surround yourself with an amazing good people.

51That's the only way to succeed. And for me, it was a true roller coaster and without good people around you and a strong belief, it's almost impossible. Yaniv, if Fire Nation wants to learn more about you, about BlazePod, what is your call to action for our listeners today?
