Brett, say what's up to Fire Nation and share something that you believe about becoming successful that most people disagree with. What's going on, Nation? I appreciate it. Fire Nation, thanks for having me, John. I really appreciate being here.

1:53Yeah, I think that success is the goal. I think most people would think that being successful is the final goal, but I don't necessarily think that's true. I think you can be successful in many different ways and that once you hit success, then like Tim Tebow would say, now it's time to become significant. So I think most people think like, oh, once I'm successful, it's all downhill from there or easy ride, but I just don't think that's the case. I think once you're successful, now you got to get to work. I do love that phrase. How do you go from success to significance? And Brett and I both had the pleasure of sitting in the audience very recently to see Tim Tebow give a speech on this topic and of course other things as well.

2:39And it's just a great reminder, Fire Nation, that it is about significance. It's about how are you being significant in the world? How are you adding value to others? That's why I love that quote by Albert Einstein, try not to become a person of success, but rather a person of value. because how are you adding value to other people's lives? How are you being significant in this one world, this one life you have to live? And today we're talking about satellite communication and why it matters. And by the way, this is super on topic because communication is everything when it comes to being significant and to adding value to this world.

3:12So let's talk about satellite communications and why it matters, Brett. Satellite communication matters because everyone is using it. And when I say everyone, When I mean all of your leaders, your governments, all of your large industries, all of your emergency responders, first responders. I mean, the satellite network is there. It's been there. And it's in use by the top echelons of our governments, our militaries, and our industries. And it's significant for that reason. And that's why everyone should be a part of it because, you know, if the Wi-Fi or cell go down, the satellite network is there.

3:50And I can tell you firsthand experience, as Brett can too, because he's a Marine. I was an officer for eight years, as Fire Nation knows. And standing atop my tank, being in charge of four tanks and 16 men in the Iraqi war, being in Fallujah, and looking down at my satellite device and having that communication and knowing where I was location-wise, I mean, it is literally, not figuratively, it can literally be the difference between life and death and could very well have been the difference a few times. in my life or death because I avoided potential roads that were being mined by IEDs and snipers and all other forms of danger.

4:29So I can tell you it matters for a lot of reasons. But how easy, Brett, is it to get on the satellite networks if you're not some stud of a Marine like you or some podunk army officer like myself? I don't know. You're a stud too. I'll give you that. Anyone that's served like you have is a stud in my book. Appreciate that, brother. Yeah, yeah, of course. You know, it's very easy. It's there. You know, Iridium operates 66 satellites and they have seven in reserve. Roughly, MRSAT has, I believe, five and then four in reserve. And then there are several other types of devices that connect with those particular satellite networks like Bivvy Stix and things like that.

5:13And it's really easy right now. If you go to satnews123.com backslash bivvy, I will give you a satellite device for free, a$300 bivvy stick, and you just pay for the service. And boom, you download the app to your smartphone. And now you are connected via Bluetooth to the satellite network. So it's as easy as going to satnews123.com backslash bivvy. That's so cool. I mean, one more time to say that URL. Yes, satnews123.com and then backslash bivvy. and that'll take you right to the page where you get the free Bivy stick. Sign up for the service. You get all the information feeds and then you just download the apps and boom, you're connected to the satellite.

5:51And spell out Bivy for us. B-I-V-Y. B-I-V-Y, Fire Nation. And I think that last letter is exactly the right one because why? Why would you not do this? I mean, here I am in Puerto Rico. I'm like, it is insane that I have not set this up yet. I mean, I lived through Hurricane Maria. Luckily, I was off the island, but I had my home here in Puerto Rico. and so I knew everybody that went through this and they had no access to the outside world communication wise. They were in the dark. They were blacked out. They had no communications. It's really scary because man, communications again can be life or death, both figuratively and literally.

6:30So man, I'm on this. We're gonna talk after this call, Brett, because I need to step up into this for obvious reasons. So let's get to the who. Who exactly is using these satellite communications? We talked about the army. We talked about the Marines. We talked about the military in general, our government, politicians, et cetera. Let's dive deeper here. When you pick up the phone and dial 911 in an emergency, you're calling on lifetimes of experience, years of training. I mean, think about how long an EMT or a firefighter or a police officer has to train before they show up to your door. So, you know, in an emergency, when the Wi-Fi or cellular is down and you cannot connect to a first responder, you're that first responder.

7:17Unless you have a redundancy plan, a backup plan, where you can contact them via satellite phone and then get that first responder to your door. So, you know, besides the governments, the militaries, the upper echelons of all industries as a backup, all your first responders and your neighbors. You know, I mean, how are you going to contact your daughter, your kid? We live in this spread out world. You know, everyone's in different places. So, you know, one light switch goes off and we're back to the cowboy days where if you don't see me, we're not talking. So, you know, the satellite network is there to back that up for you.

7:54So you can always be in touch with the ones you love. Because if the Wi-Fi or cell goes down or, you know, there's an emergency and a thousand people try to make a phone call in your area, that cell tower will shut down. so you'll have a backup because you're connected to the satellite network. Fire Nation, you just want to be as on it as possible. And by on it, I mean as independence, on top of your own independence, life, freedom. I mean, that's one of the things I love about being down here in Puerto Rico is that I've been able to create a pretty self-sufficient world for myself. Of course, we always need to rely on other people.

8:32I mean, we are humans, but I've installed 41 solar panels on my roof. I have three Tesla power walls. I am essentially self-sufficient off the grid energy-wise. I have what's called an atmospheric water generator, which just from the humidity in the air will create eight gallons of fresh water a day because water, by the way, critical. You can go 40 days without food for all you people that think you need to eat every day. No, I've done a 10-day water fast. I was fine. I've seen people do 30, 40 water fasts. They're fine. I'm not saying everybody should do that, but you can survive without food.

9:09You can't survive without water. So man, I've got that fresh water coming. All I need to do is plug it in. And guess what? I have energy because of my solar power. I have 12 months now. I keep adding to this supply because I just feel like I just need to keep adding to it. I have 12 months of MREs. You know what MREs are? Meals ready to eat. Meals ready to eat. Yeah, that's a 50 year shelf life baby. That is not stuff that I want in my body. but if I need calories, I'm going to eat that stuff for sure. So let me tell you, I get that in my attic, you know, and you know, listen, I'm a military guy, uh, Brett.

9:41So you probably would not be surprised to know I got a little bit of an arsenal in my house as well. So if you guys are thinking, well, we're just going to go take over JLD's house. Well, probably not a good idea. I'll just say that much. So that is exactly what it is down to fire nation. Like how can you become self-sufficient in this world? And Hey, we're all hoping you never need to live through this zombie type apocalypse that we've seen on movies and stuff like that. But wouldn't it feel better if like you weren't one of the first people to die of dehydration after three days because you didn't do a little preparation?

10:15I think the answer to you and your family would be yes. So we have a lot more to talk about around this topic when we get back from thinking our sponsors. The overwhelm that comes with choosing the right software and tools for growing your business is real with so many options and so little time. How are you supposed to know which platform is best? You've got your email marketing platform, payment systems, content tools, the list goes on. Brett, we are back, my man, and I want to get details, details on information that we can actually receive on satellites.

12:46What does that look like? Everything. You can get everything. I mean, we are setting up satellite social media networks. We have influencer feeds. We have emergency alerts. We're working with a lot of the networks to be able to geolocate users in those areas to connect family members or connect people with emergency services. in those times. We're working with first responder units, different groups that show up and respond to emergencies. So if you need blankets or insulin or food or water, to your point before the break, I mean, we are setting these networks up and all that information is available on satellite.

13:25You just have to be able to tap into it. And if I could just comment on something you said previous to the break, yeah. I mean, you know, and I know as in the military, like the worst feeling in the world is the feeling of being unprepared or being caught off guard or not being able to take care of somebody that you care about when they need you the most. That is the absolute worst feeling in the world. Now apply that to your family, your friends, your neighbors, your mom, your dad. Our responsibility, everyone hearing this right now, your responsibility is to take care of the ones that you love because people count on you.

14:02And that's what we're talking about. You build those networks, you connect through communication, and you set up these networks. So to answer your question, like I said, the type of information that's on satellite, everything. And more importantly, it's on there when you're going to need it the most and can't get it from your standard cellular or Wi-Fi. And Fire Nation, we're not talking rocket science here. We're not saying, hey, you need to train to be a surgeon. So if your child has a burst appendix that you can just perform surgery right now and save their life. Like, listen, that's not what we're talking about.

14:35We're talking about the basic things that we can all do, you know, have food, have water, have communications on lockdown because we can do these things. Brett, go ahead. Oh, I was just going to say, yeah, absolutely. I mean, you don't have to be a surgeon, but you need to be able to connect to the surgeons or the hospitals or the first responders. And if your cell phone isn't working and you're not a surgeon, what are you going to do? Right? So that's why. The why and the because is because when you need it the most, that satellite network is going to be there so you can get in touch with the surgeons or the first responders or the family members that you need to.

15:13So true. We just gave some very specific reasons as to why this should matter. But I want to dive even deeper because we're talking to entrepreneurs, to small business owners. Why should this matter to entrepreneurs? It's all about preparing, right? You never start a business, you don't become an entrepreneur by just haphazardly throwing things at a wall and hoping something sticks. You build in contingency plans, you over plan, you know, you think out scenarios, you test markets, you find niche groups. I mean, it's very similar. Emergency preparedness is very similar to starting a business in that you must consider all avenues of danger, of struggle, of, you know, any obstacle that you may face in a business.

15:55you also have to have that same mentality in your daily life and especially in your emergency preparedness. Like you list off earlier, the list of things that you have to prepare. It's not just one or the other, it's all of them. So to entrepreneurism, we have this mindset. You have the mindset already of preparedness. What do I need to launch this company? How do I succeed? And how do I, you know, how do I reach the level of success or significance that I want? that's the same as an emergency. You already have the mindset. You just need to reapply it to your family and think outside the box of like, hey, what happens if I can't make a phone call?

16:31How do I get ahold of the ones I love? How do I keep water? How do I keep cool? How do I keep warm? Things like that. Fire Nation, very powerful and very, very important stuff. What's the easiest place to access the satellite network? Satnews123.com backslash bivy. You can go get the free bivy stick,$300 value. We'll give it to you for free. You just pay the monthly service charge. But it's less than a cell phone and we give you the device and then you just download the apps and boom, you're on the network. So satnews123.com backslash bivy. Go get your free satellite device and join the satellite world.

17:11Fire Nation, I think that we've convinced a lot of people on this call to take the next step, you know, to have a backup plan for health, for wellness, for family, for communications, for these things. Just have a plan. And then, you know, you sleep better at night because of all the reasons that we've talked about. So Brett, we talked about some very important things today. And again, you're a Marine. I'm an Army vet. I mean, we've experienced firsthand how being prepared can literally save your life. So what's the one thing that you really want to make sure Fire Nation gets from our conversation today?

17:51I want people to just plan and consider all options and avenues of things that could potentially happen to yourself or your family that you may or may not have already considered. Because, I mean, just take a look at what happened a few days ago, no matter what your opinion on it is, it was very violent and it would have changed the face of the country in an instant. So we need to prepare for that, you know, and you should prepare for that. So I just want everyone to take the time, you know, check yourself, check your family, you know, go over the emergency. What are we going to do? Where are you going to be?

18:30What if you're here? Where are we going to meet? What do we have? Go shake hands with your neighbors and build your community. That's what it's all about, building your community. And Fire Nation, just because you could be listening to this at any point in the past, present, or future, Brett was referring to the assassination attempt. And it honestly just brought me back to thinking about floating in the beach back in September of 2017 here in Puerto Rico, the calmest, most beautiful day. I was remarking to Kate, man, I love Puerto Rico. It's so beautiful. Literally seven days later, the entire islands was destroyed.

19:08An island 111 miles wide, 37 miles wide, 3.5 million people. It was destroyed seven days later. Nobody saw it coming. Of course, we all knew hurricanes are always a possibility, but you don't always see it coming for a nation. Sometimes it just happens. So Brett, one more time, what is that URL? Yeah, come check us out, satnews123.com, backslash Bivy gets you the free Bivy device. We're already set up, waiting for everyone to join. And yeah, come get your device. Thank you, John, so much. I really appreciate you and your audience and your time. And yeah, here we go. Here we go into the future.

19:48Brett, I appreciate you, brother. You know, Fire Nation, I got to meet Brett in person. He's a great dude. He's genuine. He means what he says.
