0:01Boom! Shake the room, Fire Nation. JLD here and welcome to Entrepreneurs on Fire. Brought to you by the HubSpot. podcast network, the ideal destination for business professionals with great shows like I Digress. Today, we're pulling a timeless EO Fire episode from the archives, so the giveaway may not be active, and we'll be breaking down success and revenue for your online business, guaranteed. To drop these value bombs, I brought Keith Lynch into EO Fire Studios. Keith is a self-professed geek and started his entrepreneurial journey younger than most at the age of 14, and has launched several successful businesses in his career.

0:35And today, Fire Nation, we'll talk about Quantify, how it's a business in a box, about how online business in general is the easiest and fastest path to cash. It's the path of least resistance and gives you the fewest hurdles and so much more. And a big thank you for sponsoring today's episode goes to Keith and our sponsors. The Hustle Daily Show, hosted by Juliet Bennett-Ryla, Rob Litters, Ben Berkley, and Mark Dent, is brought to you by the HubSpot Podcast Network, the audio destination for business professionals. The Hustle Daily Show brings you a healthy dose of irreverent, offbeat, informative takes on business and tech news, like a recent episode on hackers versus casinos, where the hosts talk about MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment and the devastating potential of cyber attacks.

1:17Listen to The Hustle Daily wherever you get your podcasts. Ever thought about giving a TEDx talk? It's one of the most powerful ways to share your message with the world. And four-time TEDx speaker, Taylor Conroy from Thought Leader can help you get there. Visit thought-leader.com slash fire to join Taylor's free trading, where he teaches you how to land a TEDx talk and spread your message to millions. Keith, say what's up to Fire Nation and share something that you believe about becoming successful that most people disagree with. What's up, Fire Nation and JLD? Thank you for having me so much.

1:53I appreciate the opportunity. Yeah. Ooh, that's a good question. I am a huge proponent of creative intellect and I'm also an avid Einstein fan because we're birthday buddies. But I often do find more value in creativity than just conventional knowledge or even a formal education. Hope my kids aren't listening to that right now. But Einstein said that imagination is more important than knowledge because knowledge is limited. So I'm a big believer in that. And I think with the right amount of creativity and problem solving skills, anything can be achieved. That's really cool. And I love that you are an Einstein fan to that level.

2:27I don't share his birthday like you do, but I share a massive affinity for him because a different quote that he shared is actually the quote that spurred me into my entire entrepreneurial journey nine years ago, which is try not to become a person of success, but rather a person of value. And it was so obvious to me, Keith, I wasn't being a person of value when I read that quote. I wasn't doing anything that was valuable in this world. And I'm like, well, no wonder I'm not being successful. I mean, look at Albert Einstein. He's laying it out there in black and white for me. So love the Albert Einstein connections we have.

2:58I've already talked about what we will be chatting about here today about how success and revenue for your online business can potentially, Fire Nation, be guaranteed. So Keith, right now in 2021 and beyond, what opportunities are you seeing in the e-commerce space? It's a good question, John, because e-commerce is such an all-encompassing term. But I think the modern day version of that is, of course, e-commerce, physical products being shipped, whether it's drop ship or otherwise. There's a lot of change. There was a lot of challenge, as we know, in 2020 with everything, but of course with e-commerce as well.

3:32There's a lot of change in the space right now. I would say huge opportunities to be super specific and granular about it for Fire Nation would be things that are related to what's referred to as POD, which is print on demand. And that is something that consumers in general, consumer activity, consumer buying patterns are really, really headed toward. There's two segments of that, and I won't get too geeked out over it. But basically, I would say huge opportunities right now with e-commerce in general would be branding and print on demand. Branding and pod, P-O-D. Pod, right. Print on demand. Print on demand, Fire Nation.

4:12You're getting it from a guy who eats, lives, and breathes e-commerce. In fact, you launched a company that is currently a featured sponsor of Entrepreneurs on Fire, Quantify. So talk to us about how Quantify can help Fire Nation take advantage of these opportunities that you just spoke of. Quantify is an interesting brainchild. We started it years ago. I started years and years ago with e-commerce, long before it was cool to brag about on YouTube. So I'm kind of old school with it, but generally just digital marketing, e-commerce. And it kind of morphed into what today is Quantify. Quantify is, for lack of a better term, a done-for-you business in a box.

4:52as a whole. So essentially what we do is we research, we develop, we build, we market, we monetize a complete end-to-end e-commerce business for our clients that we call partners. And we do that and we slap a guarantee on it, which our attorneys often lose sleep at night over. But we do have a, we keep working with you and for you as a partner until you cross the 10k per month threshold. Now, one thing that I'm really fascinated about is idea creation, idea formation. So how'd you come up with this idea to create quantify? And how'd you come up with the idea to structure it in the way that you're currently structuring it that's causing all of these lawyers, woe is them, to lose all of this sleep?

5:34So talk to us about that idea creation formation. Yeah, absolutely. And that is probably arguably the most important part of any business, whether it be online or not. I've been involved in online businesses for a very long time. And I think that building websites and digital businesses over the years became not only a career, but kind of my entire life. So it started as a small company, launching multiple successful websites each year, kind of turned into this agency that is quantified, that offers the development marketing and monetization of these e-commerce businesses. It's interesting because Because again, we take this approach of not a client, but a partner.

6:11And we look at each business that we build as our own. So when we look at that, we really take the approach of, would we build this? Does it have, is it viable? Is there data backing it up? Can we get it to 10K per month? And if we can't, we don't do it. And that's where we put the guarantee on it as well. Fire Nation, we have a lot of awesome stuff to talk about. I've got some questions that I think you're going to want answers to. We're going to talk about some other things when it comes to tactics, strategies, tips in the e-commerce world, and so much more. When we get back from thanking our sponsors.

6:45Can you believe we're already in Q4? This year has flown by, but Q4 is an exciting time, and not just because the holidays are right around the corner. Do you have a message inside that you know is meant to be shared with the world? giving a TEDx talk is one of the most powerful ways to share your message with the world and Thought Leader can help you get there. Thought Leader is a speaker coaching company that has helped over 550 and counting coaches, speakers, entrepreneurs, authors, and experts land TEDx talks.

9:07Thought Leader is not affiliated with TED or TEDx, but they're able to get these results because their founder, Taylor Conroy, is a four-time TEDx speaker himself and past EO Fire guest. You might be thinking a TEDx talk sounds great, but where do you start? Taylor has put together a free training that's going to teach you how to land a TEDx talk in as little as 90 days. Join Taylor to learn exactly what TEDx organizers are looking for in their speakers, how to write a talk that goes viral once it goes online, and more. Visit thought-leader.com slash fire to join Taylor for this free training and get your message out of your head, out of your heart, and out into the world where it belongs.

9:44That's thought-leader.com slash fire. So Keith, you actually guarantee results for your partners. And I love how you say, hey, I mean, we don't guarantee results for everybody, for our partners who we specifically choose because they have the right idea that we can support in the right manner. But we're talking a guarantee, brother, of 10K revenue per month for each and every site. So give us a little bit behind the scenes. I mean, I know you can't give like the entire ingredients and all the potions and all that jazz, but how does your team follow through on this? Yeah, absolutely. Of course, can't give away the secret sauce recipe.

10:20But I will say there's a lot of blood, sweat, and tears that go into it. We do – the short and sweet version of it, JLD, is that we have a system and a process that works exceptionally well along with an amazing team who's dedicated to the success of all of our partners. So there's a lot of moving parts to it. And as with any agency, again, it's the development, the research, the marketing, et cetera, et cetera. But at the end of the day, we're committed to achieve success. and if you want to look at it from a contractual perspective, we're contractually obligated to reach that 10K per month. So we do work around the clock until we hit it.

10:52But again, I think that when it comes to business, when it comes to, as you said earlier, providing value, achieving value versus just plain old success is about backing up what you say you can do. And I think that's where the guarantee comes into play. And again, that's where we kind of take this partnership approach with all of our clients. Let's maybe brag about one of your clients. Do you have an example that you like to talk about? I mean, we can be as specific or as non-specific as possible, but hey, feel free to give them shout outs. I mean, they may be getting some free Fire Nation love as a result.

11:23So, I mean, you know, is there one or two companies that maybe, you know, are a little interesting and different in and of each other? So we can get a couple of different perspectives that, you know, you are just in love with and that's why you brought them on and they're rocking and rolling for different reasons. Absolutely. We've got several that we love to brag about, but there's actually one this month, JLD, that I've been excited to tell you about. We have a partner that we brought on last year, built an entire website for her, of course, in a specific niche, actually print-on-demand. We designed all of the T-shirts that she wanted to sell, very much related to here in the States being somewhat patriotic, not political, of course, but patriotic, and sort of catering to that demographic, got everything built out.

12:04And for any digital marketers in the Fire Nation, they probably feel my pain. And in 2020, digital marketing specifically on Facebook and Instagram has been interesting, has been a nightmare. So we hit a lot of challenges and roadblocks on Facebook, just like every other agency in the digital marketing space. What we did with this particular partner is we kind of took to getting some media attention with her and for her to kind of call out the fact that these challenges exist within social marketing and digital marketing on social platforms. And it's funny, within a week of doing so, not only did we cross the 10K, she actually hit about 250 ,000 in sales just from some unique think-outside-the-box, good old-school PR kind of thing.

12:54So that's my most recent bragging success story with the Quantify ecosystem. I love the recent one. So give us one other one. It could be two years ago, a year ago. It could be any time frame, just for a little differing perspective. And again, we can be as specific or as vague as possible if you want to protect the person for whatever, you know, reasons, because, you know, I do understand Fire Nation where it makes sense, where there's like, you know, potentially people are crushing it with a specific product on Amazon and they got this niche carved out and hey, if it becomes a saturated market, they lose that edge.

13:25So what do you want to share in that area, Keith? A lot of partners that come aboard love to ask about the niche choices that we create, right? So that's always, you know, big number one question as they come aboard. We've got some strange ones out there, but of course it's all validated with data, et cetera. One of my favorite ones is a few years ago, we dug into the bow tie niche, which I know sounds bizarre. But it turns out bow ties have insane margins. So as we developed this business for this partner, we found that bow ties often retail, whether it's online or off, in the neighborhood of, say,$20 to$30 a bow tie.

14:00Turns out those bow ties cost about$0.70 to$1.25 wholesale. So the margins are insane. So that is another example of, you know, as we go through, we carve out these niches and these businesses for our partners, we discover, you know, sort of these niches or sub niches that we didn't know existed. And it's pretty easy to get to 10k a month with something like that. So we got that one to 10k a month pretty quickly. So I can see it now, Fire Nation. A bunch of people are going to be turning into bow tie salesmen and saleswomen, which is why I gave Keith the opportunity not to get specific, but hey, he's given away the farm here, which is pretty flippin' awesome.

14:35And let's be honest, a huge benefit of partnering with Quantify is that your team literally offers end-to-end training and support, Fire Nation and support. We're talking market research, drop ship product, and supplier sourcing, which by the way, supplier sourcing's a pain in the butt. I can talk from experience with all three of my journals. Holy crap. We're also talking website design, development, marketing automation, advertising campaign development. I mean, this is the whole package. This is an end-to-end system. So those are a lot of moving parts, Keith. How do you ensure that each business continues to run smooth in support of all of these partners of yours?

15:13It's a great question. The longest short of it is with us, JLD, that we always tell our new partners, we don't go away until you hit that 10K or greater within a calendar month. And even then we really don't go away until you tell us to. It's a true partnership. So we don't really go anywhere until the partner tells us to do so or until they've got the steering wheel, so to speak. But I will tell you, we've had some challenges in that space in the past where a partner will say, okay, this is awesome. I've got the business. I co-managed it with you. You've shown us everything we need to know and then some, and then they'll go away, sort of fly the nest, so to speak.

15:47And then they come back three months later saying, okay, something's wrong. Can you fix it? So it's one of those things that we, you know, there's, there's never a phone call we won't take, but it is one of those things also where we, we really encourage our partners to stick with the training and the support that we provide for them long-term. That's why it's there Fire Nation. That is why it's there. So Keith, you've given us a ton of value. Give us one major value bomb about e-commerce, about the conversations that we've had today. What's one major thing you want to make sure that Fire Nation walks away with, they can really kind of put in their hats, learn from and execute upon.

16:23Absolutely. I would say online businesses in general, Fire Nation, whether it's e-commerce or otherwise, is the easiest, fastest path to cash, so to speak, and lessons provided or learned with any digital, excuse me, with any business type that's available today. And I would say that It's the path of least resistance. It's going to give you the least hurdles in any industry. So whether it's through Quantify, whether it's simply watching YouTube and immersing yourself in that industry or any industry, I would say e-commerce is the way to go. Keith, give us a final call to action. How do we learn more about Quantify?

17:03How can people contact you? How can people maybe pitch themselves to potentially become a partner of yours? Absolutely. Quantify.com, of course. Quantify is with a W. So Q-W-A-N-T-I-F-Y.com forward slash fire. We'll get the Fire Nation a couple different things. We would love anybody who comes from Fire Nation and becomes a partner with Quantify. We'd love to give them some advertising spending cash as they get into their e-commerce business with us and launch. So we'd like to offer them$1 ,000 toward their ad spend as they get into it. And with your permission and blessing, JLD, I'd love to be able to give them the Mastery Journal as well.

17:40Whoa! Yeah, I'm a huge fan of the Freedom Journal. I got it a couple of years ago, and now I find myself buying it on repeat for friends, family, colleagues, and partners. So I'd love to be able to offer that to the Fire Nation as well for anyone who becomes a Quantify partner. God, that's so cool. I mean, that's really cool, Fire Nation. So man, you're hearing that Keith, he walks the walk, he talks the talk. One more time, just kind of run through what Fire Nation gets if they go to quantify.com slash fire. Fill out the application or the inquiry form to become a partner. If you become a partner with Quantify, We'll give you$1 ,000 towards your ad spend as you launch your new e-commerce business that we build with you and for you.

18:17And, of course, the famous JLD Mastery Journal, which we think everyone on the planet should have. Super cool. Because, Fire Nation, you know this. You're the average of the five people you spend the most time with. And you've been hanging out with KL and JLD today. So keep up that heat and head over to eofire.com. Type Keith in the search bar. The show notes page will pop up with everything we chatted about today. Best show notes in the biz. Quantify. That's Q-W-A-N-T-I-F-Y, quantify.com slash fire. Apply to be a partner. See if what you have is a fit for Quantify. Believe me, it's a high barrier of entry because as you noticed, they can't take everyone and every idea.

18:54It has to be thoroughly vetted. It's kind of like getting into the Ivy Leagues a little bit. So Keith, thank you for sharing your truth, your knowledge, your value with Fire Nation today. For that, we salute you and we'll catch you on the flip side. Thank you, JLD. Hey, Fire Nation. Today's value bomb content was brought to you by Keith and Fire Nation. My first traditionally published book is hitting the shelves in March and I am fired up, to say the least. The Common Path to Uncommon Success. This is your 17-step roadmap to financial freedom and fulfillment. Pre-orders, Fire Nation, are everything.

19:33And if I've given you value over the years, it would mean the world if you would head over to my pre-order page and lock in a copy or copies for family, friends, loved ones. If you pre-order, I have sweet bonuses. Sweet bonuses and amazing extras. Actually, five of them specifically. So check out UncommonSuccessBook.com. UncommonSuccessBook.com.
