In short
Astrology and personal reinvention during major transits, plus practical guidance for navigating 2025/2026 amid social outrage and political division. Meghan also shares her breakup-to-new-life pivot and what she’s learning living in Rome.
Guests
Meghan Rose, an astrologer, intuitive guide, and spiritual teacher who blends “intuitive astrology” with chart work. She’s known for predicting timing/themes and building a community via her Substack. She’s currently mid-Saturn return (started March 2023; final phase through spring 2026) and recently moved to Rome after ending an engagement.
Key claims
Her chart shows heavy 12th-house “hidden enemies” dynamics (moon and mercury there), and she interprets current global intensity as Pluto in Aquarius (secrets/power revealed) with a “reprieve” period around 2026/2032. She argues outrage culture drains agency; instead, take a beat, disengage from reactive cycles, and choose what belongs to you. She also predicts more entrepreneurship and a return to reciprocity/barter energy.
Notable examples
Visa approval for Rome came quickly after stress; she sold most assets and rejected Amsterdam after a “gut ping” and reader guidance (“yes to Europe, no to Amsterdam”). Dating/relationship talk ties Scorpio seventh-house themes to attraction and pacing. She cites Mercury retrogrades in water signs (Cancer/Pisces/Scorpio) with February, June, and October dates, plus pre-shadow and post-shadow periods.

0:14Hello, my darlings. So this episode, we have Meghan Rose again for the second time because I just love her so much. She's an astrologer, intuitive guide and spiritual teacher known for helping people navigate life's biggest questions through the lens of the cosmos. Megan has built a devoted community by blending down to earth wisdom with soulful astrology, showing us how to work with planetary energy instead of against it. And for this, I really suggest that you subscribe to her sub stack because some weeks where we're just like, everything feels really sticky and like nothing's working. She will explain why, and she's going to tell you what to do.
0:50It's just like a really nice energy guide. Megan and I dive into what's happening in the stars right now. We reflect on how accurate her predictions for 2025 were and what we need to think about going into 2026. And we also just like catch up and gab as gals because she just moved to Rome completely on a whim after breaking off an engagement. And so we talk firsthand about how she's using what she practices to lean into what life is guiding her to do, which is a really amazing lesson for all of us. So whether you're an astrology lover or just curious about how the universe might be guiding you, this conversation It's going to leave you feeling like you have the power to be aligned, hopeful, and ready to step into your path.
1:40This is the most Mercury retrograde, non-Mercury retrograde week I've ever, ever encountered. Like nothing is going right. Very, very. I have your chart. It's just in case we end up talking about something in your chart that I want to have it and not eat in to time looking it up while we're mid-talk. Amazing. Okay. But the first thing when I saw it, obviously I've looked at it before, but I was like, half of your chart is in your 12th house of hidden enemies. So the fact that people are always attacking you and like always being like, you're doing this wrong. Can you press record on it? It's recording.
2:22like you're doing this wrong and this is bad and how dare you is so 12th Hauser. It's not even funny. So that's a thing. So the more that you're talking, the more that you're shining because your moon and your mercury are both there, the more that that attracts these little like, but let it fuel you. Yeah, it doesn't. Exactly. It doesn't. I feel that I'm like, whatever, because I just couldn't imagine. I'm like over here living my best life. I don't spend any time doing anything kind of like that. So they're in their own prison. No, truly. I'm like, could you imagine for even like five minutes of a day going and like looking up somebody you don't like, leaving comments, making burner accounts, doing the whole thing?
3:08I'm just like, it doesn't even cross my mind. It would never, it would be such a waste of my time. it would be such a low frequency for me to operate from I would feel the guilt I would feel would wreck truly the guilt that I would feel would because I remember like years ago I was like there was like so who was what was it it was a brand it was a brand during COVID yeah and I was like I need to make a fucking fake account and like tell them that this is that what they were posting was like so tone deaf. But it was actually wrong in the first place. And I was like, I could never do that. No, it would be crazy.
3:53No. And then you're just sitting there being like, I've taken all of this time to do all of it. Just to what? I thought about it. And then I was like, I thought about that. And I still remember it so much. It's an intrusive thought. It's not yours. No, so crazy. Enough about me. Tell us what's going on in your life right now before you guide us into what we need to be doing with our lives. Okay. So I'm mid Saturn return still. Wow. So this started back in March of 2023 and came to a technical end in the spring. Okay. But we have a Saturn retrograde happening right now. So it started on September 1st.
4:37It's done on February of 2026. So this is like my final little blip with this mirror in front of my face of like, did you actually learn all of the lessons? and it just feels like so much has changed like quite literally my birthday was back on September 10th and all of the girlfriends that I had at that dinner were like weren't you engaged with Bob living in LA on your 30th birthday and I was like yeah I was and now where are you living uh living in Rome. So, yeah, moved and got my visa through the consulate in the U.S. and I was stressed and I got an email nine hours later and they were like, it's ready, you can pick it up tomorrow morning.
5:30So, What? Yeah, I, and Rome, We deal with Italians. Right. That's what I mean. Snail's pace. Truly. So that's crazy. No, it it honestly is and I don't have Italian lineage like blood lineage but my grandmother's best friend was a first generation Italian American who moved over with her husband and then her husband came out of the closet so she was now like in America with a gay husband right or with no husband at that point and so she moved in with my grandma and by the time that I was born I was the first daughter granddaughter niece like I was like you know first everything on that side of the family so she was like quasi family and she always used to tell me like I would do anything to go back to Italy oh and the day that I I know the day that I got my visa approved my grandma she and I don't really speak anymore but she sends all of these photos of photos with Liliana in them everywhere, like seven or eight photos in this batch.
6:46And I was just a puddle of tears. I was like, because it went right over my head. Rome was not on my radar. And then the minute that it fell through, it was like, she was just like, thank you. What made you decide to move to Rome? So kind of notated on it earlier, but I ended my engagement and it was a messy end. Like he didn't want it to end and I tried to restart my life in LA and just couldn't do it with somebody showing up at my doorstep with roses and Frank Sinatra blaring and yeah just it was not good I couldn't resettle roots here and then got taken out for work to Mallorca, Rome, and Amsterdam picked up keys to an apartment in Amsterdam and came back and like sold my apartment sold my car sold 90 % of money you didn't even you're like you really I was done oh this isn't like I'm gonna just have a little blip no I like knew that I had to close this chapter which is the beauty of a Saturn return like it's like you listen to the rules that this taskmaster planet is trying to give you.
7:59And then he's like, pats you on the head and is like, good job, little pony. I'm like, great. But I was planning fully on moving to Amsterdam. And then I just got this gut ping. And it was like, this is not where you're supposed to go. And I have readers, like, I think it's good, kind of like a hairdresser has their own hairdresser, a masseuse has their own masseuse, to go to my reader. And she kept saying, yes to Europe, no to Amsterdam. And I was like, right. Like, tell me where, like, I'm already telling you that it doesn't make sense. And this is like the bane of my existence is I give people like a good example, like readings where I'm like, you're going to meet the love of your life.
8:43He has family in the Dominican Republic. He has a red car and it's going to be sometime within the next seven weeks. And they walk away and they're like, you know screw you like I don't have anybody on my radar like I'm not even trying to date right now whatever it is and then we'll be like yeah are you kidding me I know because the the session that we had I don't know how long ago that was was unbelievable like you are I mean you consider yourself you're an intuitive yeah so I'm actually like rebranding my whole experience because it doesn't make sense to just say an astrologer because it's not my word.
9:20It's not. It's like just for everybody who knows, like Megan will like DM me and be like, yes, that's exactly what you're supposed to do because this is going to happen. And I'm like, yeah, like, and I wasn't expecting that in our, you know, we did the podcast and I was like, whoa, there's you're on another frequency. And then we had our session and I was like, you're an intuitive, like completely because it wasn't like, well, your chart. Yes, obviously you reference my chart all the time, but it's, you know, I've done work with astrologers and this was not that. Yeah. It just wasn't. I was told by a woman when I was still working private investments, like went back to this little psychic fair and like ran into this woman haphazardly and she would tell you to pick charms and put them on the table just on like a piece of felt.
10:12and then she would have your whole reading. And she told me back then, you're a healer. You're not supposed to be working a boring job. You're going to quit your job within six months, whatever. Like it was really a lot of where I get my reading style from. I think like that seed was planted when I worked with her. And she told me what you're going to do has not been created yet. You will have your own modality. Oh, cool. Yeah. So now, even if it's just a step in the kind of homage of where it's going, I think intuitive astrology is where I've landed. And I'm going to start leading courses on helping people understand what I'm doing.
10:53Because I look at a chart and it's almost like a divination tool. Like it just hangs whatever in my head. and sometimes it doesn't make sense, but I'm like, let me make it make sense so other people can do this too. I think it's interesting. I think when you work with people so much, it becomes a part, like my therapist is a therapist. Yeah. But she'll say things like, oh, that chapter's not closed. And I'll say to her, like after like a few sessions, I was like, are you a medium or are you an intuitive? And she's like, you know, I would never call myself that at all. But I have been working with people for 25 years.
11:34Yeah. And when you're working with people in that way, and you're, I just think it's like a higher consciousness comes in, right? It's like a second language. And literally, probably the only reason that she doesn't call herself that is just from legal reasons. Yeah. Because it's like, you know, like when she's off record, she's just like, yeah, yeah. Like that is what I do. I know.

I am so happy you're here.
17:09Are you able to get your nails done like that in Rome? Press-ons. Yeah. Trust me. Yeah, it's tough. It has been... Manicures in Italy are not the same, babe. It's been a whole readjustment. I'm like, at some point, I'm going to need to call you and be like, so how do I deal with my Italian husband? Because, yeah. Are you dating? Yeah, and it's been a nightmare. Yeah. I am so... I don't know what it is that I give off. And maybe I can actually ask you about this because you have so many Scorpio placements. I think you have five. I need to pull this up. But I have seven all sitting in my seventh house of relationships.
17:49Oh, yeah. I don't know enough, but I know that that sounds local. It's a lot. You have four Scorpio placements all in your 12th house. But I'm going to ask you this because anytime you have three or more in a sign or a house, it's called a stellium. and it's like mixing coffee and milk like once you do it you can't unmix them like they're all connected and they just like play off each other it intensifies so I have had girlfriends be like you just ooze sex I would almost claim to be asexual like to me I'm just like I could do without like oh that is not i but not me babe this is where i want to ask you because i feel like a lot of scorpio energy just gives off that vibe whether or not that's how you feel it does give off that it's just like people look at heavily scorpio influence people and they're like i think i need you right now yeah that there's something there is some sort of also i mean you're so beautiful.
19:01Likewise. You're so beautiful. And the hair and the thing and the eyeballs and the whole. So I knew and you don't. I'm sure also in Italy, you are like people are just like, what is this creature? Yeah. It's capelieroso, capelieroso. Motobela. Like it's like it just I go out and I have to put noise canceling headphones in to go like walk to the grocery store or go to my language classes because I'm just like amazing. I can't do this. That's so funny. Oh my God. Have you met any nice guys or it's kind of Italians are Davide is the first one to say this. We've been together a decade now. So I they are the best or they're the fucking worst.
19:47And that's like and that's like why this podcast this podcast is called Everything is the Best When It's Not the Worst because that's how I used to describe dating him. oh him specifically or dating in general him specifically davide barrancini my husband so what once you're locked in you're locked in okay and then you're like you're vita mia it's like i am like i mean i was saying the other night at dinner like i had to go to dinner in venice which obviously being for bestie and i was like i'm in another fucking world why do we not have a subway system that functions please i don't know i don't know and i don't know why they make it so hard it's it was it was rough it was you know it's like after work and traveling but Davide was like if you want me to come pick you up I'll pick you up like he would never want me to be in an uber by myself and that's I'm sure you will meet men that are like that specifically like European you know I hate to generalize but I think we it's fair to say like once you're locked in with an Italian man you're like really locked in they definitely have this whole fucking thing that they put on in the beginning that is like super corny and annoying and you have to like get through it or you have to find one that doesn't show up like that you know like a cool shy one that's like not trying to call you cat call you on the fucking street totally and to me i'm like i have to get out of my own like rigid virgo brain of being like this is a good lesson for you to be there like you can't have sex until this and da da da and if you give too much away and if you say this and if you are that they don't they operate from my husband and i have uh we have the best sex of our life like if i brush into him by accident or like i look at him a certain way there's no like if i've said this so many times on this podcast but if i'll say like you want to right now he'll be like ew but american men would be like yes please i'll give anything If I had an American guy, he'd be like, okay, let's go.
21:45Or at the time of day, it's like, why do you talk like that? It needs to be this, like, doing like a kind gesture for him will turn him on, you know? So you are, this is probably like the perfect place for you to be because there is an unspoken language of like body language and slowing down. and like the way authenticity I feel like too. It's the way they move all day. Like it was the hardest part of our relationship was being completely in my feminine so he could be completely in his masculine so he could do what he was taught to do. Totally. And I was just doing the wrong thing. Not that it's, but I remember I was like, I'm taught, like I work and I don't need you to drive me and I'm going to pay for this.
22:40And he'd be like, and so there was things that would like really like offend him. He was like, this is my way of showing you that I care about you and you're not even giving me the opportunity because you're trying to prove that you're some, he's like, I don't need you to be those things, you know, like. And when you get into the core of why you're doing a lot of that in the first place, I feel like that's when it finally becomes like in your awareness because that's what's happened to me since I moved. I was trying to prove something. Totally. And he was just trying to be like chivalrous. Yes.
23:09And I never, like even before I moved there, would never have considered myself an insecure person who had low self-worth and was trying to prove myself. Like none of that stuff resonated with me. I wasn't like, yeah, for sure. Like I claim that that's who I am. That's how I would define myself at all. But that's exactly what being out there is butting me up against because it's like we don't have the goal of moving into a multi-million dollar house in the Hollywood Hills. I'm not going to pick you up in a McLaren. I'm not going to flaunt wealth. I don't need you to be my trophy. That's tacky for them.
23:46Exactly. The really wealthy people that we like work with drive like old pandas. Right. And live amongst the people that work for them in their town. And they probably love everyone that they're connected to, love everything that they own, treat all of it like it's going to last forever. Because it's not about the newest, the best, the biggest, the brightest. And I really had to check myself. Like I grew up on a dirt road in a town of 2000 people and moved here immediately after college. And it was just, it could not have been more of an extreme 180. Also, then you went into work and it was like success, success, success.
24:23And like, that's what this teaches you yeah being in you know really like learning being in Italy like in that way it's like not easy and that's why everyone's like do you want to move there and I was like I'm not ready at all especially in Sicily imagine like you're in like a metropolitan city right like imagine being in the dirty south down there where things are much slower and the way of life is so much different. It's not aligned with my goals right now at all. Because also like if you need to get like diapers between like one and four, like you can't get diapers. They're just like free balling.
25:00They're like, what is it? They're like, we're closed. It's fine. And I'm like door dashing. Like I'll be like, oh, I need something. And I, you know, like that's not that one thing is better than the other, but that's like where I am in my life right now, where I'm like, I got to keep it moving real quick. Have you ever done a float tank? No. Okay. Once you do one, I want you to check back in with me because it is like a life version of doing a float tank. It's like all of this stuff that you're identifying with outside of yourself doesn't exist. Even your body doesn't exist. And it's like, I freak out when I do them.
25:38People are like, it's so relaxing. No, I'm sure I would freak the fuck out. floating and a tank alone with my thoughts? Nightmare. Kill me. What? That's why I've never done it. I've had people, I've had spots be like, we would love to. I'm like, I'm good. You're like, I'm actually out of office until 2035. Thanks though. Literally, unless I can take a Xanax and do the float tank. I'm not alone with my thoughts floating. I would still have a panic attack. Double Xanny in, I would have a panic attack. Yeah, I'm like, there's definitely a shark under me. Like, I feel like in my own pool. I'm like, there's a shark in the deep end.
26:10it's but it's worse because you're still like you can bump into the walls but you literally feel like your body doesn't exist so crazy and that's what being in italy is like for me now i'm like who am i none of this matters it just it's they pull the rug out from under you and you want and it's just so funny is the p the most of the people who are like they just want to live there because they like went to a fancy hotel for two weeks i'm like babe you go fucking like try to live somewhere that has a completely different culture than you have. It's very, very real. It's a very, it's a beautiful place.
26:47But even living in a different state, if I was going to move from here to Colorado, if I was moving here to Illinois, I would have a complete culture shock. Absolutely. You know, it's a it's a major culture shock. I'm really excited for you that you went in that hard. I didn't realize that we sold vehicles. And how long is like you're late? You're just there. So I got a year long lease. I got a visa. That's a year, but it's renewable every year. And I mean, you know, we're we're just hoping that I learn how to navigate being like more myself and don't get so afraid of like the immediate sexcapades of the Italian men.
27:23And then maybe I don't have to worry about the visas after. I love that your issue is that they're all trying to buff you and you're not down for it. I just I really give off the wrong impression, apparently, because I'm like, it's a very sexual, it's a sexual country. Like they love women. Yeah. And so in my chart, I'm a Taurus rising. So my seventh house, the opposite. I love Taurus energy, but the opposite energy is Scorpio. So my seventh house of relationships, like I was telling you is Scorpio, but I've started to dive in and share this more with people about the planetary ruler of your seventh house, giving you the insights to how you're going to find your person.
28:06And so Scorpio, historically ruled by Mars, planet of sex. And it's located Mars in my chart in my third house of friends. And so I know it's either going to be somebody that starts as a friend or I'm introduced to them through friends. Like, I really do believe that we have our like kind of aversions and our urges for a reason. And I'm like, I'm not going to deny the fact that like, I don't love this because once I am safe with somebody, I'm like, I want it 24 seven. Like it's like, yeah, of course. Oh my God. You being like, I just look at my husband and I'm like, do you want to fuck? Like I get there.
28:50I just let me warm up. Like I'm the old panda that the rich guys that your husband works with still drive. I'm the car. Yeah. But that's but it's but by the way, like that's like the dream scenario is for you to be like protective of yourself and to not to not really care about giving too much away right now and to not like moving to a new place and like having tons of sex with everybody. Like it's a, I was, I made those mistakes in my twenties and I did a podcast yesterday with somebody and we were talking about like childhood trauma and being like an adult child of an alcoholic. And she was talking about like how.

29:31Wait, do you resonate with that? Yeah, I am. Okay. Me too. So the constant need for communication and attention. Cause everything was so unpredictable. So it's like, I need to understand what you mean by that. like what's going on, what's going to be happening in five minutes, five hours, five months, five years. Like they actually have a great meeting out in Topanga. I know. You know, I did the meetings when I was little and then I was kind of like, I don't want to talk about this anymore. Just like because I like love my dad so much. He had a brain injury with coupled with, you know what I mean?
30:03So I like I feel very like I right now I'm focused on like like some behaviors I did when I was younger where I feel sad for her. And getting to the point, too, of like, because I'm a huge believer that everything's happening all at the same time. Like, I had a conversation. My mom brings this up a lot when I was like four in the back of her old Jeep Grand Cherokee. And I was like, mama, time is like a roll of film. And I was like, that one's there. That one's there. That one's But like essentially told her like it's all just still there. Like you can zoom in to whichever one, whatever. I'm sure at some point we'll have technology to like help us do that.
30:51But it's like you don't even have to feel bad for her because it's like she exists. Yeah. And I like it's weird because I like don't feel bad. But then I'm like, oh, that was sad that I did those things. But I'm like, that led me to where I am. But like it just feels like a little sticky somewhere. Yeah. So I'm kind of like that I don't really want to talk about it. And then like, and then I'm like, I'm fine. Like, I don't. Dude, the answer is just enjoying the moment that you have. Like my new mantra has been my past doesn't exist. And it's not because it doesn't, but I'm such an overthinker and such like a ruminator and can really go like way too off the deep end of my own life of like trying to figure it all out that I was like, if I just tell myself like my past doesn't exist.
31:41It sets me free. Isn't that amazing? You're like, then I'm just here right now and everything's awesome. We're good. I literally have it on my arm. Yeah, it's amazing. Be here now, you know, like. No, it's really. No, unless you like murdered somebody and you have like guilt over it, like everyone's fine. And even that, like when you see people's like apology, like after going through like jail or rehabilitation or mediation or something like we're all capable of forgiveness and letting go of what has happened. I don't know. That's a whole other. Yeah, it's interesting because I'm happy to like that you're validating because I was like, should I feel I was like, should I feel I didn't even I don't know.
32:24I was just kind of like promiscuous for a little bit. And I was like, should I feel like bad about how? And then I was like, I guess not. I had like kind of just like the best time ever all the time. So it's fine. And if you're in a marriage for, you know, decades, at some point, it's very human to be like, oh, what if? Like, my parents have been together since they were 15 and 17. My mom's only ever slept with my dad. Oh, wow. I was like. So cute. I mean, I know a lot of people who've been like, it's so safe. I know. You know what I mean? I know. but I like sit there and as much as I've been a serial monogamous like when I first came out to LA I definitely let myself have fun like I was 22 that's how I've gotten to the point of being like I'm good I'm good like I could go without but I don't I don't know I think it's good to give yourself the option to explore all of life's expanse I'm a big proponent of that oh my god I've had experiences like that I'm like, that was a movie.
33:31Like that was a fucking movie. Like being on vacation in Mexico, just like amazing. And just like, I think it's so nice to say yes to lots of things when you can. And I would say this to single women, like, like you, you know, I have like two children and a husband it's and businesses. And like, I wouldn't change. I've like, my life is better than I could have ever imagined it would be. And I wake up so happy and good, but so happy every day. but I can't just be like oh I'm gonna go do this no and by the way thank what thank god I don't want to like you know I want to be with my family and consider things and like but enjoy the time that you can yes that's what a privilege and when I like talk with so many different people and look at so many different birth charts too I always come back to this same understanding that I'm like there is no one size fits all to how you're supposed to be living life.
34:24Like the right. That must be so interesting for you. Well, and it takes, it has gotten me so like face to face with the idea of fate and destiny because to me, I'm like, you can't tell someone do this, don't do this, do it that way because it's almost like a staircase. Like that's more of how I visualize somebody's life. And I'm like, if they have to take steps like up this way and around that way, and this step's higher than this one or whatever, it's like everybody's staircase is shaped differently. The length of it is different. So what worked for you and also what you're giving up, like for somebody, they're going to be like, I would never give up being able to say yes to whatever I wanted to do all the time.
35:17Absolutely. And that's their staircase. But there's something so beautiful to me about giving up something that doesn't mean much to you to make space for what does mean a lot to you. Like you're opening that up and making it so much more pliable to come in. And I think that's why a lot of the time you'll see people struggling to like call in love or call in money or calling like whatever it is that they want. And they like keep searching, searching, searching for. And I'm like, try giving up something that doesn't actually belong to you first. Like you don't have to look a certain way. You don't have to dress a certain way.
36:01You don't have to like put yourself down or make yourself feel small when you're in conversations. You also don't have to be like big bulldog. Like you and I were talking about that where it's like there's nothing to prove and the minute you give that up what do you get love yeah yeah because it didn't even actually belong to you to be that way that must be really interesting when you're having conversations with people who are just really trying to call something in and you're like you almost like have lost like definitely not going to come the more that you're searching for it yeah I just think pushing and urging stuff along makes it do the opposite Like I always think about a dog like being pulled on a leash and it's like if you pull it, it's just going to sit back and like kind of give you that protest behavior because it's like I don't want to be rushed.
36:51Yeah, it's truly every time I've like let go of something and been more in a flow state is when everything has come to me. Mm-hmm.
37:07This episode is sponsored by By Heart. By Heart is an infant formula company that's on a mission to make the best formula in the world. As a parent, it can feel like every decision comes with like more questions. and when it comes to breastfeeding, the pressure is so real. I mean, feeding in general, right? Like any sort of feeding. It's like, what's the right formula? What's the right solution to get my daughter to latch? How long am I supposed to feed? Did she eat enough? And after Carmela was born, we were on cloud nine. She was such a good baby. We were in such a good flow state as a family, but I could not get into a flow with breastfeeding and I was working so much.
37:53I mean, two weeks after I gave birth, I was on Zooms, topless, obviously with the camera off, but like, you know, with a really fussy baby, I didn't know if she was feeding enough. I didn't know if something that I was doing, if it was something that was going on with her. And after three months of that process being pretty consistently challenging, I started to lose my mind. And I'll never forget my mom putting her hand on my shoulder and looking at me and saying like, you don't need to do everything. You can outsource something. And you know, knowing that there was a formula brand like by heart that I could give to my daughter and introduce her to that was going to be completely guilt-free for me was absolutely life changing because I'm sleep deprived.
38:41I'm trying to figure out what's best for her. I'm reading ingredient lists. Like I'm a scientist. I'm not a scientist, like walls of formulas were so confusing. Everybody had all these different things to say. And that's why BiHart stood out to me because they had the same questions and they actually did something about it. At BiHart, they've spent nearly a decade evolving baby formula as you know it. Hundreds of sleepless nights working to crack the code on breast milk and thousands of hours picking the brains of infant nutrition experts. Endless searches for ingredients that meet their uncompromising standards.
39:11Years of perfecting their closest to breast milk patented protein blend and small batch blending process. us. All that work led them to one baby formula with all in one benefit. So you can take the guesswork out of feeding. One formula backed by breast milk science, one formula clinically proven versus a leading infant formula to deliver more. One formula made right here in the US with the highest standards. Plus, by heart just launched the Anywhere Pack, which was life changing for us with Carlo because we obviously travel a lot and bringing that big tin with us on a plane is obviously challenging when you have all the other baby stuff, but the to-go like formula dispensers were a nightmare and they would open and there'd be formula all over my bag.
39:57So sticky, so messy, so complicated. And this is why the Anywhere Pack is life changing for me. It's their same great award-winning closest to breast milk patented protein blend formula, but in a super portable packet, making mess-free bottle making on the go possible. 40:40So the last time we talked was, it was before, when was it? I was trying to think about this. Like a year ago? I think it was late last year because I definitely had my bob. You definitely had your bob. Also, is this your hair grew this fast? Oh, I was like, bitch. Are you getting extensions in Italy? Yeah. I mean, I'm glad that I'm sitting with this side of my face to the camera. It's Italy. the funniest thing and i'll will i'll like i'll post this after this episode comes out is like every time my girlfriends go to italy and get a blowout they're like what just happened to me it's like 80s porn star shit i'm like what are you what are we doing buddy i love it so you were prepping us for what 2025 is gonna have in store and it's been a fucking year girl the amount of people that i've had contact me after listening to that episode and they were like you talked about the borders shifting and now all of this talk about seceding and this like there's so much obviously happening on the world stage right now with that it i mean it's too literal sometimes yeah it's where what are we supposed to do for for when just how we're you know it just seems like every day there's something and and listen i posted something yesterday where i was like i don't want to contribute to outrage culture and someone was like it's really the time to be outraged right now 100 but i think there i think every day everything is like more and more insane and i think watching it and then really sitting with like what is happening and looking at all sides has has freed me from like wanting to be really reactionary totally because the more we scream at each other the worse it's getting yeah it's almost like an algorithm in life like where you are getting what it feels your attention what you're liking saving engaging with there's more of it I'm like we can't lose sight of like how metaphorical it is like we spend all of this time on social media and I'm like that's exactly what's happening in real life you know like exactly what's happening and I also am not big on outrage culture I don't like fear-mongering but at a certain point it's like if you have zero reaction to any of what's going on and you don't have a game plan of how you intend on engaging with it you've almost lost your power yeah because you're not conscious.
43:30You're just constantly putting out fires every time that there's a new thing. It's like now this is a new reality. But if you know, because from an astrological standpoint, we have Pluto, the outer planet of secrets and destruction and power sitting in Aquarius. Aquarius is the opposite sign of Leo. So it's like we have the performer over here, but we have the observer in Aquarius. So what we're getting right now is like the curtains pulled all the way back so we can fully observe all of the secrets of how power has been formed. And into 2026, and I keep saying 2026, 2032 are like two kind of like reprieve years.
44:18Like we're given this chance to sit on the bench rather than be out in the game. And it's not to say like disengage. It's just saying it's not going to be as high intensity. It's not going to be as in your face. We get a little bit of a break. We get that opportunity to recharge so we can go back out even stronger. So when you ask the question of like, what's going on? How do we prep? Like, how do we handle all of this? Give yourself the opportunity to take a beat before you respond. Like if you're doing everything on an individual level, and I always go back to Michael Jackson's Man in the Mirror.
45:01And it's like, if you want to see the world as a better place, take a look at yourself. You know, like it truly is that like it's like, So how can you not see that every person right now is in the middle of psychological warfare, being told to be scared, being told to be angry, being told to be divisive, being told to be hateful? Why do you think the world is like that? It is happening to billions of people on an individual scale. So the world has changed. Do you want to see the world like that? Most people would say no. Disengage. Sit back long enough to take a beat and be like, what belongs to me and what doesn't?
45:53Who do I actually want to be in this moment? Like I had a really big issue the last, I would say, like year or so that I was living in L.A. and I would be so angry when I would walk around and be like, why are people staring at me? Like, why is everybody looking at me? Why is everybody so dumb when you go to the grocery store or whatever? Like it was just like stupid stuff. But then I was like, when was the last time that I struck up conversation with a stranger or smiled at somebody when they were looking at me or like did any of the stuff that I was waiting and anticipating and yearning for other people to do to me?
46:30And it's like, is what I'm asking you to do uncomfortable? A hundred percent. That's why you haven't done it yet, but there is no change unless we're stepping outside of the cycle of what's already happening. And if you're watching yourself, you have to admit, yeah, I do spend a lot of time on my phone. Yeah. A lot of that content is really hateful and divisive. Yeah. The world kind of seems like that because that's all I'm being fed. And then I'm going out and continuing it. And on my medium that has become like a close friend of mine, like called me a couple of weeks ago and was like, I just, she's like, they're telling me, they're just like, really are trying to like, they're, her angels were like screaming at her.
47:13They were, and they, it was so interesting. I was like, what's happened? She's like, they're trying to, I'm like, is everything okay? And she was like, they're telling me to tell you to not even have political conversations in the privacy of your home. Like they were like, and you know, like my family has different political views. And I remember a couple years ago when we all went through this thing on Instagram where everyone's like, if your family member voted for dinner, like you shouldn't even be sharing. It's like, my phone, is my, my brother over for dinner? Like, fuck off. Like, sorry.
47:44You know what I mean? It's crazy. Like, so, you know, and like, I've noticed like the energy shift in our family so much where we had like one of the best family dinners of my adult life on Sunday. And it was because we talked about what was in front of us and we didn't talk and politics came up at one point like about it was kind of interesting like it came up but everybody had this like different perspective on it and it only grew our conversation yes and that was so beautiful yeah and that's where to me like I'm like obviously we're two white women who are able-bodied and able-minded and have enough money to do the things that we want in life.
48:28Big place of privilege. Huge point of privilege. Is that to negate that you can also see that once you've created a loving, safe container that you can bring people with different perspectives together and from that safe, almost like lubricated space to be like, now we can talk about it. like only from that space can you be like I actually don't agree with that and like here's you know my friend's perspective or my colleague's perspective or the perspective of a demographic of people that might not look like this. That's how the conversation went you know it was like someone made like a judgment about something and then someone else was like well I actually did not and it was like oh well what like then it was like you know listen like sometimes it was just like oh here we all are being so mature and really listening to one another and by the way these political conversations have happened in my home at the dinner table where people have argued and left like gotten in their car and screamed at each other yeah which you know i think is pretty normal and that happens oh my god it was so funny last christmas i you know because it was obviously december right after the election yeah and we had like 30 people over something and it's at my house So I stood up and I gave a speech and I said, you know, I cried.
49:49I said, I'm so happy. You know, we have this house and this is why we have this house. And so we can have these moments. And I said, I think we should all go around the table and say who we voted for and why.
50:01I can't fucking deal with you. I was like, I want to kick it off. Bye. I cannot. And everyone just died laughing. And it like set the tone for the evening and like the best way. and I like saw family members talking to each other that haven't talked in a long time. And I was like, see, this is just like, this is what the world needs. Honestly. It's like starting at our dinner table, you know, because that energy just gets really palpable. Yes. And we have to, so the outer planets move at a way slower pace. A lot of them become generational planets. So like any babies that are born during that time, it's like a generation of them because that planet sits there for so long.
50:39and right now we already talked about Pluto being an Aquarius but we also have Uranus which is the planet of chaos and unexpected shifts and change sitting in Gemini which is a very dualistic this girl's moods man but it's like the moods but also like this undying curiosity for everything thing. And when I think about that, and that was the transit that we talked about when I was like, yeah, there's going to be a lot of shifts and changes with the borders and like how things are defined. That's continuing on with us throughout next year. And I just keep seeing us getting over these initial steps of recalibrating to that energy and being like, holy shit, like there's a new change.
51:33There's a new change. There's a new idea. There's a new thought. There's new technology, whatever. Like it's like so much. But then when we realize, oh, we're on like a good momentum, we're making headway. It's like, I think some of the best inventions, art, fashion, music, cultural changes, even changes to a city, like the way that LA's metro system has just finally opened up into LAX. Like I'm like, there's things that are also changing rapidly that are happening slightly behind the scenes. You said that when we spoke last. Yes. That like in conjunction with all this chaos was going to be like a renaissance of so much really incredible things happening.
52:23So much so. And the kind of final touch as we go into 2026 is the fact that Saturn, in the planet of karma and lessons is in Pisces, but it's the final time for almost 30 years. So we get this full transition into Saturn and Aries throughout 2026. And I just keep seeing more people being entrepreneurs, whether that's self-made on social media, But I really am seeing a lot of opportunity next year. And I would say the subsequent two or three after that of the barter system coming back. Like, why are we giving all of this money, attention, energy to conglomerates, whether it's a social media platform, it's a bookstore turned everything store you know what I mean like all of our money is going to places where the funding is being held and hoarded and then we're going we all feel so empty and drained and it's like yeah because we're not playing toss back and forth we're tossing the ball one way and it's not coming back so with enough people woken up to that it gives us the chance to be like, I actually really like reciprocity.
53:48Like, let me help you out. Let you help me out. It's this like, I scratch your back, you scratch mine. That's coming back to us. That's amazing. Yeah. But you have to be willing to scratch other people's backs. Yeah. Well, there's that. Is there anything else that you see coming for 2026 that we need to like set an intention for going into that new year? Yeah. I mean, a lot of the things that we're going to start to see are like, we always have to be aware of the signs that the Mercury retrogrades are going to be in. So there's three to four of them every year. Okay. This is helpful. Yes. So we can't avoid it.
54:29Like we can't get rid of Mercury retrograde. Like we're never going to be able to fully like. But we can navigate it better if we know what planet it's in. Yeah, Exactly. Take us down this path because I'm tired of just being like, Mercury's a retrograde. I want to know more. So I just want to make sure that I get all of the right dates for this because I really want people to prep for this properly. So we have all of them happening in water signs this year. So Cancer, Pisces, Scorpio throughout the year. And the first one in February, second in June, third in October. And there's a lead up period, like a pre-Mercury retrograde, the retrograde period, and then a post-shadow.
55:16So even though it's only two weeks, we technically feel it for around four or five. Of course. With the Mercury retrogrades this year, we had them in fire signs, which is all about spirituality. We can also attribute that to religion because it's kind of like the alternative to the same coin. It's like the same energy going just to a different thing, which seemed to be a huge theme this year. So then when we go into the water signs and having our Mercury retrograde periods all in Cancer, Pisces, Scorpio throughout 2026, there's going to be more of a connection, I feel, to the soma. Like the idea that our emotions are constantly going to be chasing us unless we stop moving and we sit with them and feel it and let it go.
56:15because I think a lot of times it's almost like when you're in grade school and there's somebody pulling your hair and then the old adage was like oh they just really like you yeah I have a crush on you and I think about that a lot of like the things that we're really passionate about even like again not to go here but it's on the main stage right now it's being asked to be looked at is like the hatred that comes towards homosexual relationships and trans people. But then the amount of information that's coming out about like people, like the demographic of people who are watching like gay and trans porn.
56:54And I'm like, babe, babe, like just, you know, I think that's my favorite headline where it's like, yeah, not the downfall of anybody, but I'm like, no, I know it's just be honest. It's not I don't want a downfall of anything. I want a world that's safe enough for everybody to be authentically themselves. And I think that's what we're going to start to see in 2026 is the understanding that a matriarchal society is not the antithesis of a patriarchal one. That's interesting. It's not the opposite. It's not going to be men dominated. We've always grown up being told that. Yeah. Now women are going to dominate.
57:35It's not that. It's a society now that doesn't work on a ladder. It asks everybody to join hands and sit around in a circle. Like nobody wants to judge you. You don't have to live a life of judgment. So I think that's really what we're going to see is like a lot of emotional breakthroughs rather than the breakdown that we've existed in in 2025. Yeah. I love that. Yeah. We need that. Yeah. And I would love for 2026 to also be the year of like falling somewhere on the sexuality spectrum and not judging people when it's like extreme. I think that would free a lot of the hatred that's happening in the world right now.
58:22The uptight sexual country. As I'm like, I don't want to have sex. I think I'm asexual. No. I'll be a better like example of it myself. I'll say yes when I feel like saying yes. Where can people find you? Because you provide a lot of really helpful, continuous information for people. Yeah. So I'm mainly posting video content on TikTok, but all of my social handles are the same. It's at the underscore Megan Rose. And I have the star crossed newsletter and podcast that are both hosted on Substack. And we talked about this at the beginning of the episode, but I'll be sharing classes, workshops, the whole nine about intuitive astrology and how to tap into that yourself before the year is over.
59:12It's, I would encourage everybody to take, I mean, your sub-sac is so incredible. It's just a nice, you know, as we always talk about, like, what are we ingesting? What are we looking at? it's like a it's a really nice guide as to what's going on and then everybody should be taking a class on how to be a little bit more intuitive totally it's just getting in touch with yourself absolutely and my hope like this conversation I feel like is a good example of how my work works where it's like to me it doesn't make sense to do it unless it makes sense and it's actionable So it's not just an onslaught of astrology that doesn't make sense to the everyday person.
59:54To me, it's like, let's make this make sense for everybody so we can use the tool. Thank you so much. So good to see you. So good to see you always.
1:00:06And that, ladies and gentlemen, concludes this week's episode of Everything is the Best. I hope you enjoyed it. Please rate, review, subscribe, all that stuff. Maybe leave a comment. This week I’m joined by my friend Meghan Rose — astrologer, intuitive guide, and spiritual teacher who helps people make sense of their lives through the lens of the cosmos. Meghan and I go deep into what’s happening astrologically right now and how we can work with the current energy in our relationships, careers, and personal growth.
But what I love most about this conversation is how open Meghan is about her own life. She recently broke off her engagement and made the bold move to Rome — fully practicing what she preaches about trusting yourself, following your intuition, and starting over when something no longer aligns. We talk about what it really looks like to live your chart instead of just reading it, and how to lean on astrology as a tool for grounding when life feels uncertain.
If you’re curious about the stars, navigating big transitions, or simply need permission to choose yourself, this episode is for you. ALSO! Don't forget to subscribe to her Substack!!
