In short

Jolie Sharpe, a football/F1/boxing sport presenter and digital creator, explains how she went viral overnight during the 2024 Euros, then turned that moment into a career, while discussing positivity, mental health, burnout, and advice for aspiring presenters.

Guest background

Jolie is a workaholic who dropped out of uni, built a TikTok-shop-focused marketing agency by age 21 (15-person team), and later refocused on presenting. She grew up in a male-dominated sport environment (football watched with brothers), and has spoken about losing a friend at 19 and running a marathon after a stress fracture.

Key claims

Authentic, positive, unstageable content spreads; “saying no” is as important as “saying yes”; she protects her inner peace by avoiding news and keeping personal life private; burnout is managed with strict boundaries and a supportive team.

Notable examples

0:00Usually if I know a video is going to get done probably well over half a billion views by now, I'd have my makeup done, I'd have my hair, I'm a girl at the end of the day. And I get a DM from a friend of a friend saying I think you should see this with a Twitter link and it's the interview and in five minutes it was on a quarter of a million views. My life literally changed overnight. Tell me who is Jolie Sharpe? If my parents were asking they would say our daughter who doesn't understand what the word no means. But online and to people that don't know me I am a sport presenter and digital creator.

0:27If you could bottle why that went so well for you, what would you say? I think that positivity is so underrated online. I don't read the news. I absolutely hate the news. I know how to protect kind of my own inner peace and happiness. I lost a good friend of mine when I was 19 and it really changed my perspective of life and how I look at things and I used to be more of a planner and an organiser and now I said, well, I don't know, we'll see what's happening next week. They medically signed me off from doing the marathon and I was like, oh honey I'm going to be way more mentally damaged if I don't run that marathon than if I run it with a broken foot like I will cross that line my mind is my best asset you're now on this trajectory how far can you go my mum's always said you know reach for the moon the worst that can happen as you land in the stars

1:24sorry to interrupt i've never asked this before but if you can subscribe and follow that will allow me to keep bringing extraordinary guests onto the show now let's get back to it

1:37jolie welcome thank you so much for having me pleasure i'm looking forward to this Tell me, who is Jolie Sharp? It depends on who's asking. I'd say if my parents were asking, they would say our daughter, who doesn't understand what the word no means. My friends were asking, and they'd probably say, our friend is terrible at answering the phone. But online, and to people that don't know me, I am a sport presenter and digital creator that focuses primarily in football, Formula One and boxing, and loves their job. I think it's probably quite one sentence. I love that. And that passion, that energy you've got for it, you can't fake that.

2:10that's what massive i said that during my first exchange messages so where's that come from because you've got the love of what you're doing now the early influences who and what yeah i think i grew up in such a male dominated world um my mum my dad and my two older brothers but i have no girl cousins nothing so i was always playing barbies whilst being in the garden watching my brothers play football or every sunday was watching my brothers which then turned into boyfriends now ex-boyfriends watching them play football whatever it was it was always surrounded by sport so if i didn't like football and cars my brothers wouldn't talk to me so i actually had no choice which now i'm really grateful for at the time i didn't understand why they didn't want to do their makeup with me or you know talk about what traditionally young girls would want to talk about sure but it really you know paved the way of my whole life yeah it's funny because my uh my mom grew up with a brother who was passionate about f1 racing ferrari and when she met my dad for the first time they're walking down king's road he did this sort of nudged and he saw a beautiful car he said i bet you don't know what that is and she said it's a lamborghini muro he said that's almost what cemented the love the whole like being brought up around boys can have some advantages yeah absolutely i mean they i think now realized what an impact they had on me but you know growing up my weekends were so different to my friends at school or you know what I would want to do in the playground at school all the boys would be playing football and I didn't understand why I couldn't play or I would you know want to watch and you'd have you you know girls making friendship bracelets I might do that for half of lunch so I really had like such a split of I think what you know a child when I was growing up would have you know with being a girl or being a boy and it's worked out so what a time for you to now be doing what you do with the progression of women's sport equalizing the men's which for so long has been suppressed yeah it was so different when i was growing up and it wasn't that long ago i mean i about to turn 25 so i'm not speaking as if i've got years and years and years of experience and i you know i was 10 years old not that long ago but it was a world apart from where we are now and you know it's so amazing seeing when you go to a football game whether i support chelsea whether that be a men's game you'll still have little girls wearing you know full kits with names on the back when I was growing up that was really rare so even in the men's sport you can see more women coming through and then obviously you know the women's side of sport how well the lionesses you know particularly have done and the rise of not just women's football but women's rugby and what brand sponsors you know talk about fifa if you were a sponsor of the men's world cup you know you kind of had to be a sponsor of the women's world cup and that's so great to see there's so many shifts f1 academy and it's just inspiring to see i think they the problem happens when people compare them directly you know men's football and women's football i like to look at them completely separately you've got a favorite sport so asking if i have a favorite child and i don't have a child um it's so hard i have you know football and f1 i grew up boxing less so because you know most parents don't want their child watching such a brutal sport sure um but for one f1 i really grew up with or football in cars i should say more so so i think football's been more of a constant in my life the whole time but there's something about working a fight night you know one of my highlights of my whole career is the eubank bend two fight that i worked at tottenham stadium i always look back on that when someone says give me your three best sporting events that was definitely up there then you've got the glamour of formula one and how much it's changed and it's you know so many more women in f1 than there is in any other sport in my opinion i mean i'm sure there's stats to prove me wrong but from what i see day to day and then you've got football and there's two sides to football i think you have club football and then you have tournament football and for me nothing in the world no sport beats tournament football there is nothing quite like a whole country coming together and we're off the back of the wild cup so i feel that more so now than ever but you know when club football's going on i hate my arsenal friends like i can't i have to block some tribal oh it's the worst the delusional so you're competitive the worst by the way i'm a terrible loser um but i yeah i love country football yeah so that's because what I guess you could say blew you up was that passion that through an interview at tournament football which is what's in England that was at the the Euros it was you come out and then you were ultimately microphone put in front of you did an interview thought nothing of it and then that blew you up and you went viral yeah I mean the story behind that is to long story short it is kind of wild because I had a marketing agency at the time I'm a workaholic I dropped out of uni and I'm quite proud of saying that I think everyone has different avenues of their lives you could say that covid was my excuse for why I dropped out but truth be told I knew I was dropping out immediately and that lifestyle was for some it just was never for me I've always been a workaholic like I have to be busy 24 7 all days of the week always something going on um so I had my first job and then that led on to me starting a marketing agency and by 21 I had a team of 15 and we were the number one partner for TikTok shop in the UK and I was loving it but like quite early on I was realizing in in business terms quite early on I was younger than absolutely everyone that worked with me and I was dealing with things that I was didn't have the experience before I you know I'd have a member of staff come and say that so-and-so had made them unhappy okay I'm gonna come back to you shortly I'd go to the toilet phone my dad and say what the hell do I do now um but I loved it but my passion of presenting had taken a big backseat because I had an agency and you know something to grow and clients that I was you know we were on monthly contracts with or whatever it might be so it was actually just before the Euros I said to Georgina who was my number two at the time who still still works with me now let's just get my accounts 10k all my socials were private because um you know might feel kind of contradicting but I'm a very private person like my personal life is never online um so all my accounts are private had like 3 000 followers on instagram but whenever i would get feedback if i'd go for a presenting job it'd be like you just have no presence online you know you don't even have any followers and we're not looking for a total white label here so i was like right let me get my accounts 10k it's what we did so craig david we managed all his social media ashley roberts from the pussycat dolls we managed all hers we kind of knew how to make viral content that's what we specialized in so this was literally a week before the euros we're going out for the semis me and my family and I email every single broadcaster every single radio station every single sponsor of the Euros this whole long blurb you know hi I'm Jolie Sharp here's my showreel uh I will work for free I just want the experience I'm going to be out there you don't have to pay for a thing blah blah no response I'm LinkedIn hounding you can't even imagine like I'm a dog with a bone just knowing I'm going to be out there and really wanting to just pursue my presenting more because just kind of lost my love for it with everything that was happening with the agency and I knew if I could keep the agency going and growing it would but in order to do that I had to also do things that made me happy back to your roots of what you really enjoy exactly that um so no one replies but Georgina and I can't have this idea you know I'll take my mics I'll ask a few fans some questions in the fan zone my mum will be my videographer I'll send the videos back to her she'll edit while the game is going on I'll watch the game I'll come out and I'll post it film in the day exactly like that and it's quite easy filming around England fans put the mics away watch the game we're all on cloud nine we win 2-1 Ollie Watkins like in the last minute oh goosebumps it was amazing come out of the stadium and we're driving to Berlin that next morning so my brothers said to me like Jolie please they know what I'm like I will always stop for a camera and a mic please don't stop for anyone let's just take the back route and I'm like okay fine whatever I don't want to have an argument with my brothers before a really long car journey tomorrow so we take this back route and next thing you know this green mic just popped up in my front of my face and the Daily Mail Sport are one of the brands that I'd emailed being like hi can I do some you know I'll interview anyone you want me to interview not replied and answered a few questions and funnily enough they actually asked me some questions I didn't answer which never made the edit you know things that I I've had media training in the past so I thought all they could be you know taken a bit weirdly and I just wanted it to be this really happy like exactly as you saw it usually if I know a video is going to get done probably well over half a billion views by now I'd have my makeup done I'd have my hair I'm you know I'm a girl at the end of the day I would be looking into the camera I'd practice what I'm saying you actually watch the video I've got no makeup on my face glasses over my head I'm I'm so scatty I'm like this and walk away I don't think anything of it and my family are waiting just they're like oh this is what Jolie does she'll just stop when we get to the car and then it wasn't till like two or three hours later I was on FaceTime to a friend and I get a DM from a friend of a friend saying I think you should see this with a Twitter link and I'm like oh no this is something of my brothers early on in the day what were they doing and I click on it and the only account I had logged into my phone because I didn't have Twitter was Craig David so I'm looking at it from his page and it's the interview and in five minutes it was on a quarter of a million views and then yeah my life literally changed overnight.

11:33There's so much there I want to I want to just how did you feel when you watched that video that from being media trained and probably critiquing yourself and then seeing not just how well it had done at that point but then continually watching it absolutely fly how did you feel it was mental i mean i was literally messaging my family group like is anyone awake i can't explain what it was like two in the morning no one was awake but i kept getting a few messages from random people like lol just seeing this and people screenshotting it and the top comment was they hadn't tagged me like who is this and someone had found a screenshot of my instagram somehow they'd just gone public and I'm watching you know gaining hundreds of follows a minute which was all I wanted to do was get to 10k by you know within a couple of weeks and suddenly I'm gonna wake up with 10 ,000 followers can one of my family please wake up to know what's going on and all I was thinking was in the morning was getting up at 7 a.m.

12:25because I had a meeting with one of my agency's clients for an hour because we were talking about our strategy for the next six months because and you know with my team on it all I'm thinking is I can't get this call because my life's about to check you just sometimes you know and working in social media you know the power of social media and it just it's still when I talk about it doesn't feel as if it was me and it still doesn't you can't explain a feeling to someone that 99.9 % of the world don't ever get to experience because it's so unique sure and I knew I kind of had two options made my account private bit because you can imagine also the comments I was getting a football fan heavy you know I wasn't getting any hate but just what a football fan would say when they see a video and I got a message from the the Daily Mail guy who you know is now one of my friends saying like I'm so sorry about this um I hope you're okay I was like no I'm all good by the way if you need anyone to do any interviewing at never miss an opportunity it's like this is my time I might have sent you an email before yeah yeah and then in the morning I didn't sleep and in the morning I'll come on to I'm sure we'll talk about it later but I have the world's most supportive family and we were all like what is going on and it was about an hour after getting to Berlin I get out of the car my mum and I having a coffee my phone at this point I think I'm on like 25 000 followers the video is on 30 million maybe and my phone is non-stop you like it's all anyone is seeing because it's England and it's everyone's focusing on England and then there's me so it's not like a normal times go viral when it's england everyone is focused on england and everyone's on the same side so you know if i was wearing a chelsea top it would have been a different story and about an hour after we got to berlin and someone comes over and asks for a photo and my mum and i we film everything anyway as in vlog for our own personal enjoyment like there's a video of us just howling that someone has come and asked me for a photo and that was just the start of what on earth is going on yeah if you could bottle why that went so well for you what would you say i've got my feelings on this by the way um but i just wondered if you've almost not not analyzed it and i've thought you know has anyone given that feedback and why did that capture so many people and just spread like wildfire i think like positivity is so underrated online and i think i you know this might spark some controversy i don't read the news i absolutely hate the news I think it's so negative I think the and it's an ignorant ignorant way of living I'm not saying that it's not but me reading the news is I know how to protect kind of my own inner peace and happiness obviously I know what's going on in the world day to day that's the difference so the only thing is to interrupt you but you're not ignorant because you're surrounded by people and you're relevant and around people that are telling you what's going on yeah I just don't like the bad stories and it's very rare that there's good news online I've always wanted to do a show or something maybe one day down the line of just a good news platform.

15:23That's all that it is. And I think there's that element. And just exactly what I said to you before, it was so authentic. I didn't think I didn't get a question before. I've seen a few things online like this was so staged. You can't stage a video like that. And if you watch it, I'm like, yeah, it's coming home. And oh, my gosh. It was exactly how the whole country was feeling. um and i think what blew my mind the most was it wasn't just england you know i was getting message i have a friend in south dakota like yo dude you've just come up like what it was at that point i was like this isn't just england no this is global yeah it was wild funny i bring up global you're now with global i mean it's it's so cool the trajectory you've been on global podcast David Coulton and F1 which you love and i love the fact that through that moment um and you've clearly grabbed hold of the opportunities then and created your opportunities you could look on the back of it you now get to completely thrive talking about and doing what you love yeah I think first and foremost I any advice I'd ever give anyone is what you say no to is just as if not more important than what you say yes to and I think I could have come off the back of that and I'm not saying every decision I've made has been the right decision because it definitely hasn't but you know there was quick money to be made or whatever it might be but it's what I've always wanted to do i've i'm a massive fan first and foremost before anything before the jobs and the place i get to travel and the money and the luxury and whatever i'm a fan i just love it so i think it was always keeping that at the heart and the fact that now my job is my hobby i will never take for granted how lucky i am to have that no i can feel that and i think i'd said about my feelings and sort of i didn't see that video at the time i don't know where i was you know the the virality of it and so on but it very quickly made its way to me at some point and you did coming up on social because I'm interested in sport I'm interested in f1 football and so on and so that it's the passion and it's the fact that you couldn't fake what you did in that video and you continue to do that that's you you're just it's like and I want I want to compliment you on that thank you and um clearly you know that from the point of view how well that's going for you but I also wanted to kind of touch on the whole like the off button that kind of jolie that's working so hard you're a workaholic and you love it and you're working what you do but how do you now relax because life's hectic um i'm probably the worst person to ask that question too and i'm laughing because alex obviously my agent's in the room and he'll be thinking she doesn't turn off like there's no off button and what's funny is when i was growing up my parents always used to joke where is jolie's off button she doesn't stop in anything i do i 100 % is not enough for me it's like 120 130 it's go go go and by the way that is no advice for anyone I think the way that I operate is very unusual I find it very hard to switch off which isn't a good thing I find it hard to find that balance of just okay this is work and this is not work but when I'm not working I'm thinking of ways in which how I can work and I think that's because I love it so much but I'm also conscious that the longer I do this for you know there comes a point where you're like okay you're going to burn yourself out and I've had many moments of that even just this year of okay you know seven flights a week and four countries on stupid time zones you literally did you did the world cup Wimbledon F1 Silverstone back to a boxing so you pop up with the pyramids behind you and it was mental it was like Jolie being cloned yeah but it's not it's all you right but but you thrive with that don't you but you're right to manage the burnout yeah because you're 25 you're you're smashing it but there's an element of like probably at some point working out of balance yeah i think before the world cup it definitely hit me i i was like looking at my schedule you know i think that's also it's why i'd never liked the influencer lifestyle because social media is so fake and like i urge anyone that's listening to this to really know that you can look at someone and think whatever you might think but it could be the complete opposite or it might be the same or there'll be elements or whatever it might be but social media can be really hard and I have very strict boundaries in place with myself I you know I never ever post my personal life so you wouldn't know you know I want my audience to feel like they really know me and give them parts of me because that's part of the job and you know trade off almost but also there's elements that I'll really protect so if I'm out with my girls I won't be like can you take a photo of me or let me take a picture of the food and tag where we are it's I signed up for this no one else did you know my mum's happy to be in front of the camera sometimes my dad a little bit less my brother's a little bit little bit less so I never want to make anyone be in front of the camera or be a part of my story that doesn't want to be because as I said I'm the one that wants this is my job and the way to I've managed my burnout I so often get the credit when I shouldn't like my family my you know amazing team at CAA Georgina who works with me they deserve so much credit like they keep me sane and knowing what I'm doing and managing and sometimes you know it was my dad that said to me before the world cup like Jolie you're gonna make yourself so ill I'd done um Egypt to New York to Budapest in one week and I was at the airport crying and being totally honest I never really come out online and show the negatives because who does but talking about it you know frankly here I was just I couldn't understand why I felt the way I did I was exhausted I'd had the most amazing job and I hadn't enjoyed it and why hadn't I enjoyed it and my dad was like you're exhausted you're a human being and you won't take the word no but you now need to take the word no and it was kind of just like a realization that I can't keep going at this pace forever um maybe i need to take more of my advice because i now feel revitalized i'm like let's go again let's go again and then i'll do it again but you're learning all the time right this is this i mean you've been on such a roller coaster and you've embraced it probably not just because it's your calling but because the the the times that where you were writing out to anyone and everyone that could potentially have you working with them and so on and no one no one responded so now you're going to grab hold of the opportunity you're going to run with it right yeah it's that as well and it's just I mean it when I say working is what makes me the happiest and I'm not saying that will be the case in five years ten years I don't know I live very short term I you know I had I lost a good friend of mine when I was 19 and it really changed my perspective of life and how I look at things and I used to be more of a planner and an organizer and now if you said to me what you're doing next week I said well I don't know well we'll see what's happening next week because i think if you have too much of a of you know there's two ways to look at it if you're too short-term sighted you know your goals aren't big enough but if you know you're too focused on the future you don't take what comes right in front of you so i feel like i have quite a good balance on that i definitely need to work on a balance of switching off and sure you know looking back at how far i achieved i'm my worst critic and i'm my worst enemy are you yeah interesting because that's that's the competitive element to you where you're actually in competition with yourself right always always and how can i do better and you know what is next and what can i do to make people around me prouder and it's no one is giving me the pressure bar me so there's there's always ambition in you so clear which is all part of your energy and drive you're now on this trajectory how far can you go because i i feel like i i'm so pleased that i'm with you now and when you we agreed to do this only last week which really sort of relates to what you just said about not planning too far ahead but i'm telling anyone and everyone that you're going to be the biggest thing there is thank you um if they haven't heard of you you're going to hear of her soon she's going to pop up somewhere how can you go i mean i'd say the sky is the limit but i think that's too too low i just love that my mom's always said you know reach for the moon the worst that can happen is you land in the stars i actually two pieces of advice from my parents my mum always said that my dad always says to me fix the roof while the sun is shining and it's two pieces of advice that I think I subconsciously use every single day that they they gave to me and it's it's just knowing that there is there's no goal I always get asked you know what's your five-year plan and my answer is the same which sounds so cliche but it's doing what I'm doing now on a bigger scale as long as I'm still happy because that at the you know the thought is just the most important I speak to my friends who are in nine to five jobs who love it my friends who are nine to five jobs who hate it people that do what I do and they hate it or and I never want to be at that point where I'm like why am I still doing this because I don't enjoy it so what's the point you know as I mentioned my friend Joe passed away at 19 like life is so short you don't know what's around the corner so you know why the hell do anything that makes you unhappy and i think i have that mantra so sewn and torn and in my brain that i won't allow myself to keep going if i don't enjoy it or i don't allow myself to do anything that i don't enjoy so yeah it's beautiful i mean i'm super excited for you and you you've mentioned this there's a mental health piece that that actually you you you've managed and used for inspiration losing your friend um perhaps the the resilience piece of of not being where you would have liked to have been doing what you wanted to do to then having the opportunity and grabbing hold of it about physical fitness you look in great shape and we know that helps you and i wonder whether whether it's subconscious or whether it's deliberate you you choose to keep fit that in turn helps the the mental mindset i'll really take that as a credit because i'm probably the most unfit person you've ever met in your life probably because you're walking to the airports and the ubers and that's part is that is honest is that your fitness because i do i kind of assume that somewhere amongst this you're making time to do some stuff no i mean i hate the the saying i don't have time i think everyone has time for the things that they want to have time for at the minute you can be forgiven a lot of people can't but you're just you're just everywhere at the minute the gym just doesn't really do it for me and it should it really should i ran um the london marathon uh back for a charity really close to my heart raise of sunshine children's charity and i was running it and then i was running it with my friend joe and then covid happened and in the period where there was no marathons Joe passed away so I then ran it with a stress fracture they medically signed me off from doing the marathon and I was like oh honey I'm gonna be way more physically damaged if I don't run that if I'm gonna be way more mentally damaged if I don't run that marathon than if I run it with a broken fit like I will cross that line and when I did cross the line I had no idea what was going on probably also terrible advice to do a marathon when they tell you not to do a marathon but my mind is my best asset is my you know I don't know if you know who Tony Robbins is of course Tony Robbins is my goat I went to a lot of people's I love a lot of people yeah and I did his course positivity yeah in Birmingham three days I walked on fire um when I was 19 my dad and mum went went 40 years ago and they were like we want you to go when you're ready was when I just started my agency so I went and that again altered my life in how I think I've always been a positive person but just how strong your mind is before I ran the marathon the furthest I'd run was 13 miles I'd never run further than that then on the day of the marathon I got up and I did the marathon again it's terrible advice I was also in A &E the next day but for me it's just like mind mind mind mind and I do need to back to your point about physicality definitely need to get back in the gym because it's not healthy and I won't always be able to just count on my metabolism but yeah i just want to i want to just finish on that that sort of young girl that dare i say had the hairbrush singing into the mirror or presenting to them was that you also terribly yeah yeah so then to just one way or another work out how to make that work for her there'll be you're a role model to a lot of people i mentioned to you on the message you've got two teenage daughters and you know i want them to be able to follow their passion their dreams which is what you're doing what advice would you give to me because a reason why I ask that is because you were already trying really hard you know how hard you've worked to get to you and I think it's really important to champion that so many people are so many people want to and are aspirational and with a bit of reflection now amongst this crazy trajectory what advice would you give to to them I think like a few things like be delusional enough to think it's possible but smart enough to make it happen like I kind of live by that I don't my dad has always said that your biggest strength is that you don't take the word no and my biggest weakness is you don't take the word no that word doesn't exist for me like everything is possible and there's always ways around it and routes to get there and if it's not now it's it's when it's not never I just even when I speak I probably sound like I'm quoting machines but it's so ingrained in my own head of how I think and believe and wake up every morning and your brain doesn't actually know the difference between a truth and a lie so if you wake up and tell yourself every morning you know this is very personal but when my boyfriend and I broke up when I was younger my dad and I was you know as all teenage girls were on the floor so upset not sure I'm gonna get over it and you know thinking the world's ending my dad said Jolie wake up every morning look yourself in the mirror and tell yourself you're okay I was like it's not gonna make a difference I just love that right and you if you've not been there with your daughters yet you'll get there and uh I eventually did it and I woke up every morning I said I'm fine I'm fine I'm fine and the next thing you know you're you're fine so I think there's there's that element of of your mental point of view but I think it's also knowing that firstly I don't believe in luck I think you make your own luck you can just be very lucky with those that are around you and support you and those that there's so many points to my advice i should really get to the point you'd think i was a presenter this is all golden i'm rambling um the people that you surround yourself with are so important but i think you know you you i always use the red car theory but if i said to you how many red cars did you see on your way here you'd probably say i don't know i said well on your way home i'll give you 100 pounds for every red car that you see suddenly you'd see a lot of red cars it's exactly what i use with the analogy with the interview that blew me up that i have stopped for a million interviews and it just so happened to be that that one was the one that changed my life and i'm not saying to an aspiring presenter that's watching this stop for a million and one interviews and you'll get there because you know the world works in in weird ways but you miss a hundred percent of the opportunities you don't take like i can't express that it's not every day is a good day and it's so hard and it can be lonely and it can be sad and you can think i've spent a thousand and one times dreaming about this moment and it didn't live up to it or i spent three days editing this video and it flopped or whatever success looks like to you it's so hard and it's more about the days that you get yourself up when you've had the bad day than how you celebrate the good days i would say just keep going going and don't take the word no ever it's golden advice talk about going again i could keep going with this conversation i'm conscious i want to end on one thing i feel like there's a beautiful intersection that you come into this career if you like through the traditional presenter would have turned up at the f1 yeah microphone in hand we're ready we're live go present and then and then in the same way that they took themselves there maybe prepping and and thinking about the day and making some calls whatever then they leave you are doing content on the way to the f1 come and follow me to the camera probably have someone filming yourself being filmed and then preparing that that whilst making more while they leave that's that sounds exhausting to me oh my gosh it's it's never ending i think the best way to explain it is i was in the uh in budapest the grand prix just recently and i have to say shout out to the aws team because they were so lovely they're amazing but the camera the physical camera goes away and then you've got the cameras of the actual you know client agency who are always on so they end up being the most ridiculous 18 19 hour days because even though you might not be filming the whole time you know you know what it's like we you're the one to be there smiling happy the whole time get to your hotel room you're like oh well that's i mean that must be a moment for you because i've got i've got energy that's that's a key connection you have with me and people say to me then today when i've filmed however many people i'm i'm wired and i'm preparing content i'm doing stuff but i'm on a tiny level compared to you and and also fits and starts whereas you're constant and i think it's i think i just wanted to capture that because if anyone ever says oh she's so lucky so one day or you know i'd love to do what she does it's actually making a point well actually you've been really innovative not only have you grafted and put yourself in that position like you said to be there to take advantage but you work bloody hard thank you yeah i mean look i i can shout about it from the rooftops it's also the amazing people i have around me they really early on i decided when the agency wasn't you know where my passion was and I dissolved that in in the right way Georgina I didn't necessarily have the finances of warranting having a full-time employee but I knew the importance of it not just being me I needed someone to be creative with someone when I'm you know filming this right now she's in the office editing a video that's going to be going out later tonight and you can't do it alone so it's also knowing kind of when to take a step back and having the people around you are so important but I would say in today's day and age is probably the hardest time to make content it's so saturated you know the world cup I was posting like nine times you know a day on so many different platforms and it still didn't feel like enough so it's it you're right it's exhausting and it's back to my point on advice like it's not easy and you you the only way through is is to keep going go go go more content more content more content and doing things that are different and also how do you like I think what's so often missed and I'm not saying I am the gospel of content but I just make content how I like to watch content you know I get I watch everything on two times speed I listen to my voice notes on two times I talk in two times everything in my life is two times so I make my content that way with that in mind like no one wants to see me talk for so long or no one and then you have different things where they do like a podcast like this it's a different audience but every channel Is this journey slowed down?

33:42I still feel like I'm talking a million miles an hour. But I match that vibe, so it's great. I mean, the whole thing for me of watching you get to this point, being able to meet you, have this conversation, and see where you go is super exciting. I'm so grateful because I know you've got to go now. You've got one minute until the time you said to me to be out of here. That's your schedule. That is how you're living. But heartfelt thank you for making time to do this. No, thank you so much for having me. I genuinely think you're a role model and inspiration. oh god you'll set me off i'm also hella emotional probably that i could sleep no it's a huge respect for you and in a new world for me is a sort of content creation if you like and how much i'm doing and how much i'm working on it and i see your output which means i don't see all the work behind it and now how much you're doing this mega i on my last point i wanted to be an actress when i was younger i did drama you know all drama schools drama plays drama gcse drama a level i always wanted to be an actress my parents used to say but jolly it's a life of rejection it's a life of getting the word no and sometimes what we do can feel like that it's just taking that no and twizzling it into some form of a maybe to a okay to finally yes and you're like ha you know you've been doing that uh you're mega i've loved this congress and i hope you have no i have it's been so great to it's like my first real time being a guest on a on a podcast i'm honored genuinely honored thanks for having me thank you so much

35:08Thank you.
