In short

Fantasy football draft worries and dynasty trade values, plus a mailbag on rookie/destination risk and player valuation.

Guests/backgrounds

No guest hosts; main hosts are Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright (Mike not present). Episode is a mailbag format with listener questions via IG/Twitter.

Key claims

  1. NFL draft could depress fantasy value for Chris Olave if Saints draft one of the top 3 WRs; Olave’s target share could drop from ~30% to ~21%.
  2. Biggest “worry” is rookies landing on bad teams (especially Browns/Jets); examples given include Garrett Wilson’s mismatch between field talent and fantasy output.
  3. Bengals drafting Jeremiah Love at pick 10 is unlikely (<5%), so Chase Brown is a “selfish” concern.
  4. Kirk Cousins likely starts early for the Raiders; veteran QB mentorship could help rookie QB (Mendoza) and benefit Brock Bowers/Gentry.
  5. Rasheed Rice cleared personal conduct policy; if no further issues, he’s undervalued.

Notable examples

Saints/Olave target-share math; Bengals/Jeremiah Love; Raiders/Cousins mentorship; Rasheed Rice weekly WR1-ish stretches with Mahomes; Tank Dell OTA uncertainty; trade debates: Bucky Irving for 1.04, Parker Washington for 1.08, Kyron Williams dynasty value, Emeka Egbuka vs Rome Odunze, AJ Brown vs Jalen Waddle, Jamison Williams value, Cortland Sutton with Jalen Waddle.

2:10Andy Holloway:maybe we'll just have a little bit more fun i'll i'll set a puzzle for everyone okay Andy's Missing has he has a lot in common with a an animated character from a kids movie that's probably a little too vague I'll go animated animal

2:33Jason Moore:okay I know the issue and I can't solve the puzzle

2:38Andy Holloway:well you're not as smart as YouTube it's his teeth Jason I would have gone maybe Lloyd Christmas, but you do you. It was a toothless reference. Ah. But Lloyd Christmas really would have.

2:56Andy Holloway:Yeah, it happened again, ladies and gentlemen. But he will be back. This time in the front. I wasn't sure we were going to even mention why. Look, it happened. It happened. He's going to get it repaired. Everything's going to be okay. We think. Let's see. On today's show, we're going to talk a little bit about draft worries. It's not the first time. And it will not be the last time.

3:23Jason Moore:There's no way at this point.

3:27Andy Holloway:Let's talk a little draft. And it is a mailbag show. Not a ton of news, but we will talk about it. Hey, make sure you check out the Ultimate Draft Kit. Ultimatedraftkit.com. You can pre-order the regular, the base level. Or if you want to get on the UDK Plus. Just skip all over that.

3:44Jason Moore:Go to FootClan.com. Oh, we're skipping all of it. We're skipping all. Just go to FootClan.com and just become an ultimate FootClan member. It's one thing. You get everything we ever do for the whole year, all the highest tier, every episode, every special recording, every DFS dynasty ranking. We don't have anything outside of that. It's easy.

4:12Andy Holloway:Just there won't be pictures of Andy's. No. I mean, you would have to message him and ask for those. Quick question of the day.

4:20Jason Moore:Or, you know, AI them or something. But we won't do that. We would never.

4:29Andy Holloway:Quick question of the day. Which player's fantasy value are you most worried about being impacted from the NFL draft? So this one is purely. I'm looking at a very selfish list.

4:40Jason Moore:Yes, you are. This one is purely selfish, 100 % selfish. But the question is, who am I worried about being impacted from the NFL draft? And I think it's going to be Chris Olave. Chris Olave is a very good wide receiver, but it is super-duper awesome when you're getting 30-plus percent of the target share because you are pretty much the only man in town. And I fully expect the Saints—

5:03Andy Holloway:He wasn't, though. Towards the end, I mean, Devon Vele, you know, the bye week. So I guess in the game right before the bye week, that's when everything really changed. You had the Rashid Shaheed trade. And then everyone was like, oh, yeah. Remember when we gave up multiple picks to get Devon Vele onto our team and he has not played at all? Well, he played five games. And I mean, he was making an impact.

5:29Jason Moore:But even then, I'm looking after the bye week. Later in the season when they had Vele, 30 % target share. 28, 29, 39, 41 % target share. finishes the season with 30 % target share. That's not going to happen if you draft Carnell Tate. Vele after the bye week was at 21%. Yeah, but Vele is not one of these top three wide receivers. I think there's a good chance the Saints take one of the top three wide receivers. And I believe that would have an impact on Olave. Olave's a very good wide receiver. You might argue he is the world's best wide receiver too. He shouldn't really be the wide receiver one for an NFL team.

6:05Jason Moore:I think he would be awesome next to another stud. but he will be impacted for fantasy purposes. This is a guy who you're coming off of a hard to remember. He was the wide receiver six. That's how good. And he will not be a top six wide receiver if they draft one of those top three guys. And then I think we can name a bunch of people that we're worried about.

6:30Andy Holloway:I like Olave. I'm not worried about him. I think he's a stud. and the situation around him had just really eroded and you were hoping that it can be at least okay. His career with Garrett Wilson is just so wild of seeming how just on these parallel lines both of these guys have been going, except now I feel more confident that Olave has taken the off-ramp of he has a very strong offensive coach who will give us extra snaps every single game. And I believe in Tyler Shuck. I think perhaps Shuck can't elevate to being one of the top five quarterback in the league, but he looked pretty good to me as a second-round pick who was just finishing off a rookie.

7:22Andy Holloway:With, like you said, they weren't flush with top-tier weapons. I mean, Jawan Johnson's one of their primary passkeepers. He's a fine tight end, but he probably shouldn't be featured.

7:36Jason Moore:I would say – As much as I like him. I mean, if you look at weeks 10 through 17, that's when Tyler Shuck was starting. You had Olave on a 17-game pace of 109 receptions, 1 ,464 yards, and 14.5 touchdowns. That's not wide receiver one numbers. That's like the wide receiver one type of numbers.

7:58Andy Holloway:For me, it's selfish. The most obvious one is Chase Brown, as we had a report right before recording, because we're recording this Monday afternoon, that the Bengals are going to meet with Jeremiah Love. Now, they are picking at number 10. They're picking at 10, yeah. You don't think there's any chance they can get there. I said my odds of Jeremiah Love being available at 10, I'm putting it at less than 5%.

8:25Jason Moore:I mean, obviously, you've got to get through a few. I don't believe that the Giants are actually going to pull the trigger at five. I don't think they will have a chance. Well, sure. I mean, the Titans are heavily rumored, and I think that that is the biggest trap for him not getting to 10 would be the Titans just take him right off the bat, pick four. He's off the board. Then you get to pick seven with the Commanders. They could very, very much use him. I think that he fits their team perfect. I love that. but they have a lot of needs. They need a wide receiver very badly, and so maybe they don't draft him.

9:03Jason Moore:Then you would have had an issue with Kansas City at nine, but they spent the money on Ken Bone Walker. They're out of the Jeremiah Love sweepstakes.

9:11Andy Holloway:Right, and right before them was the Saints are in there as well, and they gave all the money to Travis Etienne or Etienne. We're still trying to figure this one out.

9:22Jason Moore:We want people to know who it is. When we say Travis H. And people as of today will not know who we're talking.

9:30Andy Holloway:Yeah, it really is difficult because we want to respect the guy's name. And but we also have people need to know who you're talking about. So it's a difficult thing. We'll see how because he said I think I remember. Did he say like he wants it to be that way or he's like, this is what it's supposed to be. He was totally fine with ETN.

9:52Jason Moore:But he also said it'd be nice if people started saying HN.

9:56Andy Holloway:It's like Kamara. Where is it, was it Alvin Kamara or is it Kamara? And he's like, well, I say Kamara. My mom says Kamara. And you're like, well, we're trying to help you out here, man. You help us. So we'll figure that one out over the next few weeks.

10:09Jason Moore:I say tomato. Right.

10:11Andy Holloway:So my selfish one is Chase Brown. I don't think that Jeremiah Love gets there. And this draft is interesting because I don't. there's always plenty of players who are on the hot seat of it seems like they could be easily replaced. In this draft, you're like, uh-oh, danger, danger, your starting spot is up for grabs. I think we're just I think it's going to be a bunch of surprises of these rookies going to places. Oh, well, I don't know if I totally saw that. My honest biggest worry about the draft for who will be impacted the most is the rookies because you have the Cleveland Browns and the Jets and I just I don't want to keep dunking on them right but if they're probably if they take two of Carnell Tate Jordan Tyson and Mekhi Lemon if two of those guys end up on those two teams

11:05Jason Moore:it's gonna suck that will poo poo all over the drafts and the thing is is we you don't want to overreact to players going to bad destinations it's very common that great players go to bad

11:16Andy Holloway:destinations we still have Garrett Wilson who at this point it feels like Garrett Wilson will never his fantasy production will never equal what you are looking at on the field of his talent yeah I

11:29Jason Moore:agree with that but like AJ Brown back in the day he went to the Titans everyone was really upset because they weren't a good team and when you look at the draft you go okay the Raiders they're the worst team in the league statistically they got the number one pick the Titans the Giants uh the commanders the saints those are all bottom 10 teams but i have faith of their exactly because they're good organizations it's not the same with the jets and and the browns it's just not the same if they when they go there and those two teams are going to be drafting another wide receiver so hopefully it's not one of those top three guys um it will suck it will suck and i will move them down in my heart and in my ranking.

12:13Andy Holloway:The draft is on the way. So we are just a couple weeks away. Very, very exciting times for the rookies. We'll be talking much more draft as the weeks go along. Let's get into the news.

12:27Jason Moore:News and notes from around the league.

12:33Andy Holloway:Kirk Cousins. Can't stop. Won't stop. He has, Jason, hopefully you haven't read this blurb, $321 million in career earnings. He trails only Tom Brady and Matthew Stafford in his quest to somehow earn more money than any other player in the NFL in history.

Read the full transcript

12:56Jason Moore:It's an incredible job, and the gold jacket goes to Kirk Cousins' agent. I mean, he's done great work. Part of that jacket needs to be shared with Cousins himself because he held to his guns. He started back in the day with the first, like, I only want guaranteed money.

13:13Andy Holloway:Well, he had to deal with being on Washington of them wherever the breakdown was happening. I think he played two years on a franchise. Yes, back to back. He just kept getting, well, here's full guaranteed money. Okay, here's full guaranteed money. And then he stayed healthy and played well. This isn't to dunk on the career or just crap on Kirk Cousins' career. He has been a good, solid quarterback. but when you look of the highest paid quarterback when you think of the highest paid quarterback you're like okay this guy has taken a team very far in the postseason should have at least a super bowl and yet he he has the money it was funny when it first was announced like he signed

13:56Jason Moore:with the raiders my bad when the deal came out it was like signing a 10-year 150 million dollar deal. It's really basically a one-year,$11.3 million contract that the Raiders are going to owe. Some of the money will be owed from the Falcons. And there is an enormous poison pill amount of money on this contract at the end of this offseason, almost forcing the Raiders to let him go into free agency, but it's a pretty clever way to have the contract work for the cap space, for all teams involved, and then Kirk Cousins will be in the same position next year to sign for more money.

14:40Andy Holloway:Yeah, so he's going to the Raiders. Over the last couple months, I think the Raiders have reiterated they want the number one pick to sit. It's going to be Mendoza. they've talked about they want Mendoza to sit maybe a whole year I don't know if in today's NFL you can actually sit down the first overall pick for the entirety of the season that it's a just it's a different business now you used to be able to do that it's much much more difficult

15:12Jason Moore:who do you think is the week one starter and Kirk Cousins I do too I think Kirk Cousins starts

15:16Andy Holloway:and probably plays half the season Kirk played with coach Coobbs up in Minnesota for a couple years. It's a lot of money, so we're joking about Cousins making money, but I think this is solid. If you're going to invest the first pick in a quarterback, having Kurt Cousins here to teach him how to play, and I think that at this point, Cousins will accept that. He's always seemed like a solid dude, at least from the videos that we're privy to as the public, but he understands I'm here for a year. I'm here to redeem my value for free agency for next year, but I'm also going to teach this kid how to be a pro, how to earn as much money as possible.

16:01Andy Holloway:He's going to help him with that.

16:03Jason Moore:What's funny about this is I don't think I've ever seen someone talk about Mendoza as a prospect and not mention Kirk Cousins' name. Not unrelated to this. It's like, he's like a bigger Kirk Cousins. The clean mouth Yeah it's basically just It's almost personality It's basically just they're both pretty gooper They're goopers man And so you can't find a better mentor

16:30Andy Holloway:For Mendoza Like does Mendoza get down With Kohl's cash For sure

16:36Jason Moore:For sure

16:37Andy Holloway:Does he look at the full price and then the markdown He's like I can't believe this thing's marked down 50 %

16:43Jason Moore:When these guys get together

16:45Andy Holloway:Everything's marked down

16:47Jason Moore:I'm one week in. One week in of their relationship being together. Kirk Cousins will have a handshake agreement to be the godfather of Mendoza's children. For sure. These guys are going to be two peas in a pod. Paul's bros. But from a fantasy perspective, this is really good news for Brock Bowers, I believe. You see a lot of times, we talk about this through great rookie seasons. Like Bo Nix a couple years ago. It was like Bo Nix had a great rookie season. But we always have to delete the first month because the training wheels were on the first month. If you look at his rookie season from week five on, because he's more of a pro then, when you start week one as a rookie quarterback in the NFL, unless you're Cam Newton, it doesn't usually just have prolific stat padding for those kind of quarterbacks.

17:39Jason Moore:And so having the beginning of the season actually be a veteran quarterback most likely, I like that. I like that for Gentry. I like that for Bowers. And then when Mendoza does come in, it's halfway through the season. It can hit the ground running more like what we saw from Tyler Shuck last year. Yep. And so I think it actually is important for fantasy.

17:58Andy Holloway:Adam Schefter has reported the NFL concluded that Chiefs wide receiver Rasheed Rice did not violate the personal conduct policy. If you recall, there was an accusation of violent and abusive behavior filed by the mother of two of his children and former girlfriend so apparently he will be in the clear at least for

18:19Jason Moore:that yeah there is still an upcoming court case for oh i do not remember this i believe for the

18:25Andy Holloway:the vehicle stuff oh but didn't he already had the suspension last year okay that was for the

18:29Jason Moore:vehicle so i thought so yeah if that's the case we are free and clear here and until the next issue

18:36Andy Holloway:He will be on thin ice for suspensions. If anything comes through, any sort of perf, he'll be in big trouble. Do you think he is undervalued in draft rankings?

18:53Jason Moore:We didn't see a ton because you had the suspension the first six games for Rushy Rice last year, and then you had the injury of Mahomes. So the end of the year was like, okay, you didn't. But when you had him with Mahomes, he was basically like a top 12 wide receiver every single week.

19:10Andy Holloway:He started week seven, which he scored 20 points, 21 points, 16.6, has a down game 6.8, 20.1, 25.4. And then things kind of fell apart over the next.

19:24Jason Moore:Week 15 is when Mahomes went down to injury. So you still had.

19:29Andy Holloway:Yes. For fantasy football, he will score a lot of points. so yes in in terms of speaking only of that then yeah he knowing that he's not going to be suspended it's it's pretty valuable uh we we got a report this one was just made me funny or made me laugh a little bit there it's being reported that juwan jennings is asking for too much money jennings what are you doing he's going to be 29 he is a solid player oftentimes solid players believe they should be paid like great players he should be paid a good amount of money there's

20:08Jason Moore:got to be someone has to have cash for juan jenny i think the issue right now and teams have to want him the teams would want him but the issue for him is because he was asking for too much money and didn't get signed early we are so close that first wave we're so close to the draft where there is there are so many juan jennings in this yeah yeah yeah and they those juan jennings will be And those Jawan Jennings will be younger. It's like, if I'm a GM, I'm not signing Jawan Jennings right now. If the draft doesn't fall my way and the specific wide receivers I liked went to other teams and whatever, then I'll go sign him after the draft.

20:42Jason Moore:But I'd be surprised if he signs before the draft. Which means, search for news during this show.

20:48Andy Holloway:He'll probably sign. We did get some positive comments about Tank Dell. coach D 'Amico Ryans said his status for OTA is uncertain they expect him at some point this year another beat reporter for the Texans Jonathan M. Alexander said I expect him to be ready for week one that'd be great Tank Dell is a good player and the Texans are better

21:12Jason Moore:when he's on the field yeah as is CJ Stroud alright we'll take a quick

21:17Andy Holloway:break and be right back with the mailbag

21:22Mike Wright:all right foot clan whether you are on the go or at home t-mobile well they're built to keep you connected wherever you're scouting your fantasy team and that on the go part that is important with america's best network you'll be connected to the latest news and player projections so when you're on the clock you can draft a winning team i can think of so many situations where that element of being connected while you're on the go is fundamental to fantasy football success I'm in the midst of multiple leagues right now where I am responding to trade offers. We are massaging the trade offer. We want to make sure that I'm the one that gets the player, not another player manager in our league.

21:58Mike Wright:So trade offers when you're on the go, all the news that's breaking so you don't make a mistake. And my favorite thing, maybe I'll mention it. Look, you're sitting and you have a quiet moment somewhere out and about. You want to jump in the UDK. We got the player profiles. You can watch all of those in there with T-Mobile. You can jump in on the player projections and our stat projections and all the 130 ,000 words of content. Again, T-Mobile making that easy to do. Every bit of news. Things are changing all the time. New player contracts, all that good stuff. So from offseason to game day, every play is better with T-Mobile.

22:31Mike Wright:What you got to do is visit T-Mobile.com slash network. 24:05Andy Holloway:mailbag thank you oh I mean I didn't even cardboard bear extraordinaire Jay Grizz over there holding it down we allusion

24:18Andy Holloway:I wasn't asking for that I was just telling the people at home

24:23Jason Moore:we're never asking for that every time that thing is just a frying pan to the face it's a good jam he's jigger the problem is it

24:34Andy Holloway:kind of sticks in my head all right if you would like to submit a question for future mailbags just go to the website or if you want to do a voicemail that's 302-464-TFFB no voicemails today but we have our first question from Andrew off of IG it's Bucky irving i like this i think dynasty price check on bucky irving is a is a topical question right now the question is should i trade bucky for the 104 rookie pick which that's an easy one to put a name to it's one of the three wide receivers so it's like you can just run through them i would i would rather have each one of those three wide receivers over bucky irving okay what what if it's carnell tate on the cleveland that's what i was just he's the last one left yeah that's what i was just

25:26Jason Moore:gonna say carnell tate goes number six to cleveland he will be third in my big three so he would be this pick for bucky and i i would take i would take the young top 10 drafted wide receiver over the smaller fourth round running back that you know has had a breakout but also been dealing with injuries so yeah I would rather have the 104 for Bucky now there is a pretty big

25:55Andy Holloway:they brought Kenneth Gainwell in to compete for touches for for Bucky on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

26:00Jason Moore:yeah there's a fairly large gap between the 104 and the 105 as of now not knowing how the NFL draft falls I feel like you could convince me that Bucky is worth more than the 105 depending on what you think about Sadiq and honestly like man I am I we said this on the we said this on the the rookie preview show last week but I am so so close to putting Stowers ahead of Sadiq oh I feel like I need to do it now because I won't be able to do it after the draft you know I mean because Sadiq will be drafted higher or we presume he will over Stowers, but I like Stowers more than Sadiq.

26:43Andy Holloway:Bucky is a tough evaluation right now. The breakout of year one, and then a deleted year. And the best competition in my opinion that he's had on the team of Kenny Gainwell. I probably prefer the rookie wide receiver. Trying to zoom out real quick. Don't have the landing spots, but once the landing spots are secure, who's going first in a startup draft? Those three wide receivers or Bucky Irving? It will easily be those three wide receivers. I'll say probably. Most likely. I'm not going easily.

27:19Jason Moore:Well, it would easily be those three wide receivers for me in a startup. Because I hate.

27:25Andy Holloway:Then you should easily trade Bucky for the 104.

27:29Jason Moore:Yeah. I don't like building my, if I'm building a dynasty team from scratch, I do not like pretty much the first two rounds I hate when I get a running back but if I do get a running back in the first two rounds it's because it's Bijon it's because it's one of the okay so most flip that real quick you're a contender you have Bucky Bucky's your RB2 right now would you go for I'm a contender and Bucky's my RB2 yeah I'm real contender he's my RB3 you know what I'm saying no he's not uh I would say I I would I would still take the vote I think that hopefully I don't believe Carnell Tate like when I've been mock drafting I have Carnell Tate falling to eight to the Saints and that that bypasses really the big problem is pick six for the Browns yeah pick six for the Browns is where they can ruin it by taking one of those three guys they're going to take a wide receiver but they have plenty of more draft capital later to take one of the guys that I just don't even like already so I don't think that there's a guarantee one of those three is

28:31Andy Holloway:ruined i would make the trade brian off of ig says why there's no one talking about parker washington parker washington if you do not recall jacksonville jaguars pretty much had a breakout

28:46Jason Moore:campaign last year wide receiver three or wide receiver two or right wide receiver one yeah what

28:51Andy Holloway:is happening one or two not sure uh and so it's just you know they have a dicey conversation about it and then there's the follow-up is parker washington worth the 108 i assume this is what i trade the 108 for parker washington which just reading it that sounds difficult of a guy who he didn't come out of nowhere like we already knew who parker washington was but this level of success feels like it came out of nowhere but it's liam cohen the the you guys have shared your thoughts on bryant thomas jr of perhaps he's not even long for the jacksonville jaguars just how are you going about valuing parker washington and who then they had the addition

29:39Jason Moore:of jacoby myers like in the middle of the season yeah so i think parker washington is undervalued

29:47Andy Holloway:it's like the second half i think he's is when parker washington really it changed after the

29:54Jason Moore:bi-week i think he's really good my felix model had a talent score of 91 on him as a prospect minus draft oh my right now doing a little back testing yeah that is not as sticky as the actual felix model with the draft capital which once you have him the draft capital he's like a 45th percentile and which is why you saw two and a half years of him do nothing he's a sixth round pick And so who cares? Now, a breakout can happen and can then be sticky, and that could have happened. More often than not, that draft capital sticks around for just about ever, unless you are, you know, obviously if you puka, if you come out the gates and you've got bad draft capital, but you establish yourself as a superstar right away, okay, draft capital no longer matters forever.

30:43Jason Moore:However, when you're breaking out in the back half of year three, you aren't seen as a core foundational piece of a franchise. You're probably not going to have the team building around you this year, especially with Brian Thomas Jr. there. And so I would rather have the 108. But that does not mean that I think Parker Washington's current value is he is he is good. He is better than what his value is. But I think there's a gap there between the 108 is going to be probably a second-round wide receiver.

31:18Andy Holloway:Yeah, it will be. After the bye week, Parker Washington's pace was 1 ,200 yards, and that includes a game he got hurt and only played 38 % of the snaps. And then the week he came back, he only played 45 % of the snaps as he was ramping back in. The second half was fantastic for Parker Washington. He's in the final year of his contract. So Jacksonville, if you're looking at this from Dynasty, Jacksonville's going to have to make a decision of Parker.

31:48Jason Moore:Their decision is made with Brian Thomas Jr., what they do with him. Because they have to. They re-upped Jacoby.

31:53Andy Holloway:They have to pick one of those two. Right. So, yeah, maybe they'll be playing for the contract. Yeah. I mean, they always are. I'm not trading the 108 for Parker Washington. I'm like it might it might be fair but being a year three guy and then having that breakout over the second half I'm not willing to take on the the probability risk that Parker Washington that was the best year of his career like that is one of the possibilities so yeah because I mean

32:29Jason Moore:we haven't even mentioned Travis Hunter because he's a cornerback wide receiver but that's more competition there as well.

32:36Andy Holloway:All right, we got the next question is from Tony off of IG. Dynasty value for Kyron Williams. 25 and a half. He's in year five. He did get the bag last year. That tells you that he will at least have his job

32:53Jason Moore:at least have it this year.

32:56Andy Holloway:But Blake Corum was used a lot more. Blake Corum showed there is a reason that he was drafted in the NFL. is like this is a situation that could quickly enter a full 50-50. I don't believe that.

33:12Jason Moore:You don't? You think Kyron is that much better? Yeah, I think Kyron is that much better. Now, obviously last year it wasn't what it was. It wasn't like the 90-10 of years past. Last year I think you're going to see more of that where you have a shared workload, but I don't believe it'll be 50-50. Kyron is their guy. He's also got a pretty nice contract, So he's under contract the next three years. They can get out of it very cheaply after this season. Yes, that would be the concern. But that's what I like about the contract. This isn't a type of contract that I feel like this isn't Todd Gurley levels that's crippling your ability to build a team.

33:50Jason Moore:He's paid$10 million a year. That's a good chunk of change, but if you feel like he's an important part of your offense, $10 million a year is like, okay, we don't have to get out of this. Right. Right. You know, they would they would still have two point three million dead cap next year if they got out of it next year, which means they're just saving eight million, which is I mean, maybe they'll have to. But I think he's safe for two years, which means for dynasty, if that was the question, what's the dynasty value for Kyron? He has he's a keep for you.

34:21Andy Holloway:Would you acquire Kyron?

34:23Jason Moore:I think he is as belongs on a championship contending team.

34:27Andy Holloway:Okay, so if you're a contender lacking in RB2, you're willing to go pay the price? To trade for Kyrie will be expensive.

34:35Jason Moore:I would give up my first round. If I'm a contender, I'm a back half first round pick. If I've got like the 110, you know, because I was one of the best teams in the league.

34:46Andy Holloway:110 won't get it done. You'll need more.

34:47Jason Moore:Yeah, but I would be willing to go start negotiations and try to acquire him. And if I'm a middling team, if I am – this is the type of player – like we got there every couple years the crops of great running backs that get old and you start seeing – we saw this with Derrick Henry forever ago and then forever, which is there are certain players out there that they need to be moved. They should only be on the contending teams. If you're not a contending team, capitalize right now. You can get more than the 110 for Kyron Williams, and you should do that because he's not going to be around four or five years from now.

35:28Jason Moore:He's not built like their Kenry, and he doesn't have that kind of – he didn't come into the NFL with the name value like a B-gen or someone. So will he get another contract after this? Probably not one that is, like, meaningful for fantasy football. So if I'm a middling team or a rebuilding team and Kyron's on my roster, I'm looking to trade him to a championship contender. In related news, Kyle the Borgogan has just put Kyron Williams on the trade block. Oh, he's got him.

36:02Andy Holloway:Maybe I'll grab him this episode. Please do. Please have your whole entire team just be running backs and pretend you're a contender. All right. Oh, Joe, those words anger me. Let's see. We got Roma Dunze. This question is off of Twitter from Jason. It says, it's a keeper question. Roma Dunze in the seventh or Emeka Egbuka in the eighth.

36:34Jason Moore:That's a really fun one because both guys were disappointing down the stretch. Rome, really, both guys got out to a smoking hot start.

36:43Andy Holloway:The exact same thing, though, of just catching nonstop touchdowns. Gosh. The beginning of their seasons is hilarious. This one is easily a Mecca for me.

36:59Jason Moore:Yeah, it's a Mecca. I think it's closer. Rome has much more competition than a Big Boo does.

37:07Andy Holloway:Yeah.

37:08Jason Moore:It is. It's hard to say his name right now. It is hard. Rob Gronkowski has murdered Emeka Egbegbu Emeka Egbegbu I can't even say it man Emeka Egbegbu it's awful this is a guy I just adored and loved he was a my guy last year and then Rob Gronkowski put that monstrous comment out ruined his career and our brains but yeah Emeka doesn't have the target competition He's not dealing with, like right now, Luther Burden and Mr. Loveland. Oh, they haven't left. They're sleeping in the weight room. Either one of them could be the one over Rome. And Rome could still be the one as well. We just don't know.

37:54Jason Moore:I don't think that there is another player on the roster for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers now that Mike Evans is gone. Chris Godwin? Okay, I guess Godwin could be the one in a big... I will never say his name. What is wrong with you? What is Rob with me? okay that's what's Rob Gronkowski um yeah I mean at this stage I I expect Emeka Ibuka to be the one for their like that's my expectation I genuinely I think it's more likely that he's the one than Rome becoming the one yes I genuinely don't know like well I'm gonna have to when we start after the draft starting up for the the UDK I'm gonna have to dive deep to figure out the target pecking order for the Bears.

38:42Andy Holloway:I'm into Abuka this year. I'll go one more year. Okay. Of like. Take another shot. Yeah, it started so hot.

38:52Jason Moore:He's a great wide receiver. Right. That's the thing that was so weird is he was a great wide receiver. Then he was drafted in the first round. And then he was a great wide receiver. And then all of a sudden, Baker couldn't throw the ball to him and he couldn't catch. So weird.

39:08Andy Holloway:This next question is from Joshua in Texas. I am in a super flex dynasty league. My team is terrible. I got a trade offer of AJ Brown for Jalen Waddle. Interesting. Okay, so this is a – My team is terrible. This is getting out of an aging veteran who will probably be on the downside of his career. A.J. Brown will be playing at 29 this year. What the hell is Waddle? 27.3.

39:44Jason Moore:It's like a year and a half. Really? I know, right? It feels like A.J. Brown is... Jalen Waddle, what? Well, Jalen Waddle came in a little later.

39:55Andy Holloway:I don't think I would do that.

39:58Jason Moore:I would rather have A.J. Brown. Yeah, I would stick with A.J. Brown. But to be fair, I don't understand how this is worded. I think they might be getting I mean it says I got a trade offer of AJ Brown for Jalen Waddle That could go either way

40:13Andy Holloway:I guess so we'll just say we are On the side of AJ

40:16Jason Moore:We'll just say yes

40:20Andy Holloway:Yes You figure it out

40:24Jason Moore:Where's your question better We're both preferring AJ Brown Over Jalen Waddle

40:29Andy Holloway:Okay let's say you have AJ Brown There's still all the rumors the the Patriots rumors have not gone away there they have now just shifted to well it's going to happen after June 1st it could I I believe that so do you if you hold on to AJ Brown do you want him to move to the Patriots or do you want him to stay no I would I would much

40:54Jason Moore:rather him move to the Patriots I want him to move to just about anywhere obviously if you move to a team that has no quarterback but I don't the the thing about a nice veteran like this who's got a humongous amount of money on his contract and would expect probably a new contract yes upon

41:10Andy Holloway:arrival yeah I think a trade means more new cash there isn't a team out there without a quarterback

41:14Jason Moore:that is doing that so I don't worry like oh he's gonna go to this bad team that has no quarterback because why would they trade capital for an aging vet and then give him a bunch of cash if they don't have the quarterback figured out this is a a team like the Patriots it's like we've got our quarterback, you know, the commanders where it's like, we've got a good team, but we need to support our quarterback with another stud. And I think that when he gets traded for draft capital and given a new contract, the targets will be coming. So I want him traded. All right, quick break back with some more questions.

41:51Jason Moore:Fantasy football has a lot of waiting, waiting for a waiver to clear, waiting for your quarterbacks and your tight ends, waiting for that rookie breakout. You shouldn't have to also wait on your Uncrustables to thaw. You got tons of ways to thaw them. You put them on your dash, you put them in your pocket, you sit on it if you got to sit on it. I ain't golfing without my Uncrustables. Throw one on my golf cart in Arizona. He's ready to go. Here's some good news. Now Uncrustables are ready to eat straight from your fridge, which means you can satisfy your PB &J snack craving whenever you want to.

42:24Jason Moore:No wait time. You can get to that pillowy, soft snack faster and go back to getting beaten by your friends every Sunday.

42:34Mike Wright:Now you can watch ESPN College Game Day and select live college football games on Disney Plus. All day, every Saturday at no extra cost for Disney Plus subscribers. Now there's something for every kind of thing. Select live college football games are now on Disney+.

42:52Andy Holloway:It's going to be live!

42:54Mike Wright:A limited sampling of content from ESPN is now available to all Disney+. Subscribers. Upgrade to a plan that includes ESPN to access the full ESPN on Disney+. Experience. Terms apply.

43:07Andy Holloway:Mike in Baltimore. Is Isaiah Pacheco a must-have running back now that he is behind Gibbs? No.

43:17Jason Moore:I mean, he will be rostered in all leagues and has to be rostered. But a must-have, to me, is someone that you're going to be playing.

43:26Andy Holloway:Well, I think if Jameer Gibbs is not playing, you'd be starting Pacheco. Of course, but that just means he's an insurance running back. Yeah, but so he's like the level of insurance that Pacheco provides for the Detroit Lions.

43:39Jason Moore:He is a very important insurance back. I mean, you're going to look around the league and say, okay, who's behind Bijan? Who's behind Gibbs? Who's behind McCaffrey? Who's behind? And then if there is a clear backup, and Pacheco appears to be the clear backup, then those will be important guys. I'm fine drafting him. I'm fine dropping him if I need to.

44:00Andy Holloway:Well, let's just go that. Pacheco versus the other B. Robinson. Who's got the higher premium? Your monthly premium is waiting for the payout. Who's higher?

44:11Jason Moore:I would rather have Brian Robinson okay I think that he has shown more in the last year and a half when given opportunities he's looked pretty good and Pacheco has never looked remotely the same after that leg break I mean this was a guy who was on fire looked great we loved how he destroyed the turf when he ran and he broke his leg it was unfortunate his opportunity to be a bell cow and get that bag didn't happen but then when he came back it was like we forgave him because he just came back from a leg break and he he looked worse than kareem hunt an aging vet so then you go into the next year and you're like okay there was some news like oh he's looking good and i don't know did he ever look good to you last year no yeah me either so i'll take the guy that

44:56Andy Holloway:still looks good all right let's stay in detroit uh felix off of ig what is jamison williams value in Dynasty. So Jameson Williams, 25, freshly 25 years old. Apparently, because the website says he's 25.0. I don't know his actual birthday. Happy birthday. Whenever it was. He was a first half blunder and a second half wonder and he finished as a top 10.

45:27Jason Moore:Is it his birthday today? It's not his birthday today. but what if I told you that he was Andy's my guy and his birthday is March 26th are you telling me he didn't know that of course he knew that that's why he was a my guy B-Day bros

45:46Andy Holloway:second half I'm a B-Day bro birthday bros second half he finishes a top 10 wide receiver it was awesome do recall coach Guns Mahoney, a.k.a. Dan Campbell, took play calling and said, you stink at this, I'm going to do it because you can't figure out how to get Jamison Williams the ball. It's actually very easy, according to head coach Guns Mahoney. Where do you have Jamison Williams? Because he was a top 20 guy back in 2024 off of 58 catches for 1 ,007. So, I mean, that's not really anything spectacular.

46:29Jason Moore:I've got him right now in dynasty leagues as my wide receiver 17 and every time I look at that I think he might be too low wait he might be too high every time he was higher in points per game two years ago because I didn't realize that because it's like right now I've got him obviously behind the Chris Olave George Pickens the same kind of age oh I have George Pickens yeah illegally high in my rank yeah and so um jameson you can make really strong arguments nice big long contract freshly minted 25 years old great offense quarterback stability um that he is great but his inconsistency i don't think goes away i think the play style i don't believe he's going to be a hundred catch receiver ever you know and so he's a frustrating fantasy asset to have so I look at him and I'm like okay would you rather have a 25 year old all those things I just said that is on a good offense but he's 25 or the aging AJ Brown Jameson Williams is that easy for you yeah it is so I have him above AJ Brown in my rankings like AJ Brown is at 19 Jameson Williams is at 17 When I think through this, I feel like I would rather have A.J.

47:50Jason Moore:Brown to be able to put in the starting lineup more confidently right now. But then, of course, the age and the gap. So I think he's at the right spot. Whenever I see a player and I'm like, he should be higher, he should be lower, it's probably baby bear situation here. I got you. It's really Goldilocks.

48:08Andy Holloway:The baby bear was.

48:10Jason Moore:Well, it was always the baby bear who was the one. His board. You're right.

48:14Andy Holloway:You're right. His chair is bad.

48:16Jason Moore:I mean

48:17Andy Holloway:Baby Bear had it made

48:19Jason Moore:All kids have it made

48:22Andy Holloway:You just don't know it yet If you're saying the value This year AJ Brown on the Eagles I'll take Jamison Williams Oh really? Redraft AJ Brown on the Patriots I'll take AJ Brown But I do I have confidence that Jamison Williams Will be far more Consistent and reliable this year Dude, have that confidence. Have it. Have that confidence?

48:49Jason Moore:Yeah, that's what you said.

48:50Andy Holloway:Did I? Yeah. I thought I said I'm far more confident. I don't think so. Well, what did I say? What did I say back there, dude? They're not listening. They're not doing anything.

48:59Jason Moore:They're not paying attention. Are you playing Solitaire? Are you guys playing Minesweeper? What are you doing? I wish we had a camera behind them. We need screen share. You ever notice that the guys who set up the cameras never put a camera behind them so we could see what they're doing? They're like, no. Very suspicious. But did Mike have a flubby statement? You're allowed to talk. They don't know. You don't know how to talk, do you? No idea. Okay, you guys, what were you doing? You guys were not producing this show. What were you doing? I was reading ahead. Oh, my gosh. I was working a trade offer.

49:28Jason Moore:You trying to get Kyra back in? Goodness gracious.

49:34Andy Holloway:Because he knows we can't do anything right now.

49:36Jason Moore:Yeah, this is the time to swoop in.

49:38Andy Holloway:He's in the tampering period.

49:41Jason Moore:Unfair. Unbelievable.

49:42Andy Holloway:This is the illegal tampering period. Ridiculous. All right. Well, let's stay talking Dynasty. Eli off of IG. Dynasty value, Cortland Sutton, 30 and a half. He will be entering year nine in the NFL. His value is... He is... Farting again. It's weird. Yeah. Because it's the same thing, you know. It's like Cortland Sutton this year on the Broncos. the wide receiver 13 he should be solid like last year he just finished wide receiver 13 he has Jalen Waddle now which is that's a big difference than anything that they have of our arguments of Pat Bright and Troy Franklin Jalen Waddle is much much better than both of

50:30Jason Moore:those guys yeah I mean that's the dynasty issue is once the Jalen Waddle trade came through you go okay well Corlin Sutton he'll be a red zone target but he's not going to be their wide receiver one it seemed like last year they were trying to have him not be the wide receiver one or at least i don't think they were trying to manufacture that but there were large stretches of the season where troy franklin was leading him in targets leading in yards and then corlin sutton was saving fantasy value with with touchdowns corlin sutton's 30 years old the wheels are going to fall off really really soon for him and he might already invested in their

51:02Andy Holloway:future he may not even be a bronco in two years oh yeah it's the unknown of where is a 31 and a

51:09Jason Moore:half year old receiver gonna go i don't know if you can package sutton with someone like sutton plus another legit player to upgrade um but i would be trying to unload sutton off of being back to back and half ppr wide receiver 13 two straight years 120 plus targets in each of the

51:28Andy Holloway:last two seasons do you think he can hit 120 targets no way no way does it get a hundred

51:32Jason Moore:way no how no way no how not with waddle there i mean a waddle injury just a balloon hands

51:38Andy Holloway:all right we got we got uh we got maybe one more let's go that guy from some place oh dude i know him you know that guy i know that guy he wants to know as of right now i'll read you the names if you are not privy to them your least favorite round one pick because we we often say you know like you you don't win at the draft but this is where you build your foundation for a very successful year jason your strategy of round one is that of not that you don't want upside but you do want to feel safe yes with your pick i do i i think in the first round everyone has upside and we know that historically probably you know at least 30 plus percent probably even closer to half of the first round will be disappointing it all it just happens like usually it's injury to derail a first rounder but sometimes it's just they just don't live up to the hype so this year Bijan Jameer no that's fine love it Jamar Puka JSN no problems I'm not scared about any of them Johnny Taylor Christian McCaffrey everyone is always scared of Christian McCaffrey.

52:57Andy Holloway:Sure. But also, I'd love to have him. He was very fun to have on my team last year. CeeDee Lamb, Almond Ra. No fears there. Okay. Here's where it has to come in. Yeah, I mean, it makes sense. The back of the first round would be where. So that's Justin Jefferson.

53:14Jason Moore:Little scary off of a terrible year, but Kyler, I think, helps.

53:19Andy Holloway:Kyler Murray, the guy that the Arizona Cardinals paid to leave, the guy that the majority of Arizonans, if you went and took the poll, said, we got to get this guy out of here. No one liked Kyler Murray until he was a free agent. Then people love him and they want him on their team. Yeah, because he's not a Cardinal. Very strange situation. That makes complete sense to me. But so you got the quarterback situation for Jefferson. You got James Cook and then Ashton Gentry. Ash and Gentry's still... This is from Best Ball, by the way. He's sneaking in there at the very last pick of the first round.

53:56Andy Holloway:James Cook lost his fullback.

54:00Jason Moore:Is that... Yeah, I mean, he lost his fullback. They also got a wide receiver, in theory, to be more of an alpha in DJ Moore.

54:08Andy Holloway:The coaching change is neutral, as it's the OC. So the offense should be the same. But, I mean, it's like, can Joe Brady... handle the responsibilities of being a head coach. Some guys are awesome offensive coordinators, and then they end up being in charge of a team, and they can't do it.

54:29Jason Moore:Yeah, I mean, look, I think the scarier one feels like it's James Cook, but in truth, it probably should be Ashton Gentry.

54:39Andy Holloway:It would be Ashton Gentry for me because if Kirk's going to play a bunch of the year, that's better. That's very helpful. They overpaid. They got a new center. We love that. We love the new offense that is coming in. So it's Gentry. But real quick, though, for Taylor. The second half of the year, it fell off. I mean, I don't care at all about that. You don't. No, I mean, these were games where Daniel Jones was playing. They just were playing harder teams. Kind of, yes.

55:08Jason Moore:But also, like, the last four games of the season, which were really bad, were Daniel Jones-less. when Daniel Jones left it was a I had him it was a you know a wide foot kick to the Nards and he had a when he had the down games they still weren't like bad games

55:29Andy Holloway:they were the first two weeks after the bye week which were Daniel Jones games full 100 % they lost both of them lost to Kansas City and they lost to the Houston Texans in those two games Jonathan Taylor put up 7.6 half point PPR and then 13.6

55:51Jason Moore:those two defenses are elite run stopping defenses and everyone has a bad game here and there at that point that's the end of Daniel Jones he only played like a quarter of the next game and it was a little bit more mild but I'm not worried about I'm not worried about Jonathan Taylor. He's a freak of nature.

56:16Andy Holloway:Well, I bring that up because you don't know for sure. When will Daniel Jones be ready to play? Sure. Week one? I don't know.

56:23Jason Moore:Week four? We'll know closer to it, and I think he'll move around and fall if he needs to fall if all of a sudden Daniel Jones is starting on the pup or something that we don't expect. But at the end, if you look at Ashton Gentry being there, who very, very, very talented. you have Kubiak coming in saying he wants to have a timeshare which he did not have as a rookie and then there's other running backs out there Devon Achan I know that you've got a much worse offense this year but also it's all Devon Achan you've got Amari and Hampton that I think I would prefer with the upgraded offensive line over Jente I would expect a better overall offense and I mean you've even got I think there's a lot of people that are in the gentee tier that you can make an argument Josh Jacobs bouncing back not being injured, Ken Bone Walker like that spot to me, I don't know what other wide receivers were on the board but that spot feels like pretty questionable
