In short

Fantasy Footballers Podcast (3/3) covers two main areas: free agency predictions and NFL Combine takeaways.

Guests/hosts

No external guests. Hosts are Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.

Combine takeaways

The group discusses unusually fast RB/WR/TE 40-yard averages. They highlight tight ends as increasingly valuable in fantasy/dynasty, citing Kenyon Sadiq (ran 4.39) as an athletic freak but questioning his production/“dominator rating” being too low. They also discuss Mike Washington Jr. (223 lbs, 4.33) and warn his hype could outpace draft value. They note Jonah Coleman didn’t run, and Nicholas Singleton skipped a fast attempt due to injury.

Key news/claims

Jets may tag Breece Hall if not signed. David Montgomery traded to the Texans for a 4th + 7th (plus OL compensation), raising committee concerns due to Houston’s offensive line. Vikings may release Aaron Jones for cap reasons. Raiders coach Clint Kubiak wants a two-RB approach; they worry about Ashton Jeanty’s TD ceiling with a rookie QB.

Free agency predictions

Malik Willis to the Browns (Mike) or Cardinals (Andy) or Dolphins (Jason). Breece Hall to the Jets. Ken Walker: Seahawks (Jason), Giants (Andy), Washington (Mike). Travis Etienne: Cardinals (Jason) or Chiefs (Mike) or Bears (Andy).

1:54Andy Holloway:Are you gone again, Jason? Yeah, sorry. Yeah, remember we have our spring breaks don't overlap. Yeah, it's pretty annoying.

2:03Mike Wright:So your kids are off a different week? Yeah. Okay. Well, whatever. We're here today.

2:08Andy Holloway:He's like, I want to spend time with my kids.

2:10Jason Moore:who are leaving like a bad person. Yeah, I know. And so guilty.

2:17Mike Wright:Welcome into the Fantasy Footballers Podcast, Tuesday, March 3rd. Also known as Mike's birthday.

2:24Andy Holloway:Oh, hey!

2:26Mike Wright:Happy biggest one ever. He is a regular Adam Thielen here on the show. Hey, it's me, Mike!

2:33Andy Holloway:Well, I could never be there because I can't out-age Jason. That's true. Jason's the oldest.

2:41Mike Wright:But happy birthday, Mike. I mean, still champ. Yeah, we know. I mean, the year of Mike. Hold on, hold on. Also still champ. Was last birthday the birthday that was in the year of Mike, or is this birthday in the year of Mike? That's a great question. Because when did it begin? When does it end? Does it end now? Is it from birthday to birthday? It could have been both. It could be years. It's all downhill now, man. I have no idea.

3:06Andy Holloway:If it's the years of Mike, we're in deep trouble. Tell me how Christian McCaffrey does next year because I still have him everywhere.

3:15Mike Wright:Well, yeah, it worked out okay for you. Thank you for joining us. Fun show today. We got free agency predictions on today's podcast. Oh, man. Because free agency is right around the corner, so I am super excited about that. We went through.

3:28Andy Holloway:We have our projections for, or I should say predictions, for kind of the bigger movers and shakers of free agency. obviously not George or Kyle Pitts, who at least for now will remain on their teams because they're going to get the franchise tag. It didn't feel, not all of them felt really easy, where usually you go in, you're like, there's this rumor mill going on, I'm bought into it. There's so many rumor mills right now that I'm not bought into it.

3:59Mike Wright:I feel like I'm throwing a dart. Really? Okay, so you are with me. Yeah, I mean, I have like a few convictions. Yeah, and the convictions are less players this year than they are teams. Like I have some convictions around teams doing something splashy with this position. Right. But I'm taking a shot on the names.

4:19Andy Holloway:And the like what's extra difficult for me this year, my convictions of how I think rationally things should go. And obviously, you know, there's always surprises. my convictions are not aligned with with the recent rumor mills for many of the players so i'm like do i just stick with what my gut is do i am i bought in that it's it's a wild one this

4:45Mike Wright:year well it will be fun uh do mike a favor on his birthday head over to spotify or apple drop him a five-star review that helps the podcast so this is for mike it's for mike and then youtube.com slash dfantasyfootballers. 5:10Mike Wright:That we've given away, other than the champion. The first giveaway spot. The first earned by luck spot. The first new spot.

5:18Jason Moore:The first earned by luck. Yes, as they say. Hey.

Jointhefoot.com is the community bonus weekly episodes of this podcast, which is super nice in the offseason here when we have two regular shows a week, and then the bonus show for the Foot Clan over at jointhefoot.com. Bonus. We appreciate each and every one of you over there. Our quick question of the day. Any big takeaways from the NFL Combine this past weekend? Oh.

6:30Jason Moore:Other than everyone running 4-3 something. I mean, Kyle said he looked at the data and he's like, it wasn't really an outlier. It just felt like every time I turned on the TV, I'm watching someone sub 4-4 at running back or wide receiver and even one at tight end.

6:45Andy Holloway:To at least help you and your thoughts, Jay. This was at least NFL was reporting like this is the fastest running back group that we have had. Some of that. Not necessarily all they're all top end, but just I think the average is up.

7:02Jason Moore:I think some of that is due to the fact that agents are wising up to like. Yep. Hey, dude. Don't run if you're slow. Yeah, you're not going to benefit. Jonah Coleman. I really wanted to see his 40 because I think he is very fast on film, but I don't know that he has that true breakaway speed. I was so curious to see what his 40 was. That was the player I was most anticipating watching for his 40 time. And here's what I learned. He must not be super fast because he did not run it, which means he is smart and his agent is smart. Don't do it. Don't hurt yourself.

7:39Andy Holloway:Don't Emmitt Johnson. We didn't get Nicholas Singleton, who said he was going to try and run a 4-3 because he has the injury.

7:48Mike Wright:Do they normally try to run like a 4-5? And this time he's like, I'm going to try to run.

7:53Andy Holloway:I tried to run a 4-5. I was a few seconds off, give or take.

7:59Mike Wright:It seems like. You're within a couple seconds, man. I believe we're going to be in a permanent state of some tight end, if not more than one, just being the bell of the ball at these combines and in the draft and in fantasy football. Yeah, Kenyon Sadiq. at the combine first stores.

8:20Jason Moore:Yeah, yeah, both of them.

8:21Mike Wright:Yeah, I mean... But like we're going... Here's the thing. If you perform like this at the combine, like Sadiq did, you mentioned Stowers, you're going to be drafted very highly. The value of a tight end in the modern game, we have seen it year after year after year. We had Laporta, we had Bowers this past year, we had three guys in Fannin, in Warren, and Loveland, and you're going to have a couple at least in this draft that are drafted with such draft capital and we

8:50Jason Moore:can't ignore them again yeah you watch me oh i will watch you but i mean because i'm very difficult i'm completely in on the fact that in today's nfl you you don't need to have multiple years for a tight end to come in and break out that's that's fine sadiq specifically is very interesting because his athletic profile off the charts he was already projected to be a mid first round pick and now with the combine measurables i mean he ran a 439 he ran the same 40 as jameer gibbs and he has an extra jameer gibbs on him like that it's like that's crazy but his production profile it was like okay why didn't you do all the special stuff you're gonna do in the nfl when you were in college why didn't you do that because i call me a little skeptical we're still

9:43Mike Wright:where do you think he's drafted oh definitely in the top yeah i would say top 10 top 10 top 15 pick yeah and so yeah you you uh you are welcome to doubt how he performs at the nfl level i think that's fair we have not had i mean not every tight end has worked out but we are on a recent streak of multiple rookie tight ends contributing immediately or contributing even more over time.

10:09Andy Holloway:Athleticism matters for our game, for fantasy football, trying to find the guys who can become standout tight ends. Athleticism matters more for the tight end position than it matters for everybody else, as long as it's not just a complete disaster athletically for a wide receiver and running back but tight ends the biggest it definitely is it however so is production and especially touchdowns and like your dominator rating which is a combination of the team's yards and the team's touchdowns what percentage of them did you have and sadiq's is very low at least for okay very not very low but but too low for us to be like i'm gonna all my chips are gonna go in If he had a monster production profile with that athletic prototype, I would be losing my mind right now.

11:03Andy Holloway:But where it stands, I think he's going to be a very difficult decision for a lot of people. We're working on the Dynasty Pass. The combine happened. The second drop of the Dynasty Pass is being worked on right now. We're tweaking some rankings, adding some guys, looking at the trade targets, making sure those are still good. which by the way woody marks was in the trade away target hope you did that um but we we in that is a another mock draft a three three round rookie mock and i was at the fifth pick and i'll just share it i took sadiq because after the the four big players it was like we still have so many questions that i guess i'll just take the shot on the the onesie position of this dude is

11:50Mike Wright:just a freak yeah the production it's tough um you want to see it i think he was probably i don't have the exact number probably at around 40 to 45 yards a game this past season for oregon one of

12:04Andy Holloway:the best teams in the country he had 560 yards in 14 games yeah that's got to be like 41 or 42

12:11Mike Wright:if you did the math on that um i'm not a nerd are you gonna pull out a calculator yeah okay so give me the number what do you want me to do 560 divided by 14 by 14 you got it 40 okay so 40 a game price is right so very very talented team but you would also like you know you'd you'd love it to be brock bowers uh georgia production right yes um exactly yeah if he had anything like brock it would just be number one good is gracious it could be it could legit he could legit be a number pick if that was the case after that combine. Jason, any other takeaways from, you have a Mike Washington note here?

12:49Mike Wright:Yeah, I mean,

12:49Jason Moore:Mike Washington is the, he was the, I mean, there's several, but one of the big, like, whoa moments was Mike Washington, a 223-pound running back who was already, I feel like he was everyone, myself included, but, like, everyone looked at Mike Washington as like this, oh, I think he's better than we think he's a sleeper like ah he's keep your eye on him and now it's like

13:18Andy Holloway:cats out of the bag yeah you know he ran four three three he ran four three three and i've

13:25Jason Moore:always said this i said this literally the the last dynasty show and i i've said it forever if you're over 215 pounds at running back and you run sub four four i'm in because historically that's a really good bet that that's that speed score that translates to the nfl he's 223 pounds runs a 433 so it's exciting it's good but now i'm actually it's it the pendulum is going to swing too far this is not a prospect that is looking like a first round pick and i do not doubt that he will go with the back of rookie first round draft like like when it comes time

14:02Mike Wright:to do your dynasty leagues after the nfl draft after the nfl draft it'll be early day two pick

14:07Jason Moore:no because people are too excited and they just are i worry that his rocket ship might take him

14:14Mike Wright:too close to the sun i don't think that'll happen unless the draft capital backs it up i mean if you're coming after the nfl draft and he's a fifth sixth seventh round pick that's a problem if he's an early day two pick if he's a third round draft pick if he's a travion judkins my

14:27Jason Moore:biggest worry here's here's the worry he's a fourth round pick now that's a fourth round pick is where danger bill that's a trap yeah that's where everyone's gonna be shoulders yeah that's where everyone's gonna be like the draft capital is going to get kind of put out you know it's it's one of those where here's what's gonna happen it's gonna be a day three pick that is a trade up to get him. And then all of the narrative is going to be like, ah, it's worth more capital. So anyways, I like my Washington Jr. I was so excited with his combine time. I am worried that it over-hypes him now. What if he's the second-round pick?

15:09Jason Moore:I'm in.

15:09Mike Wright:I'd be in then, too.

15:11Andy Holloway:He'll be the man. I think an interesting part of the process at this point, there were some other guys who were kind of in the consideration to be maybe they're the rb2 in terms of the nfl draft and those you know like price didn't have a great combine like there's there's the guys who were in contention to be oh this is the second this is the rb2 they kind of faltered and so i don't think there is really anything close to a consensus on on who should the running back to be right now and i'm not not just us but other dynasty players out there. I don't know if that's good or more fun at this point.

15:56Andy Holloway:If you have those rookie picks, you wish there was a two.

16:00Mike Wright:We had ambiguity last year, too. We had some of us here that really liked Hampton. You had people that liked Travion.

16:07Andy Holloway:Right, but we knew they were all going to be drafted real high. We had four good ones last year. We didn't know what order it would be in.

16:14Mike Wright:Let's move on and talk some news.

16:18Jason Moore:News and notes from around the league.

16:23Mike Wright:All right, let's start here. ESPN's Rich Simony reporting. If the Jets can't sign Breece Hall by Tuesday, they will use a tag. By the time you're listening to this, they might have used a tag. It's such a skin tag.

16:41Jason Moore:Those are disgusting. Skin tags are gross. That's what they're doing. Sorry, Breece. We thought you were going to get away.

16:50Andy Holloway:Which one of the three of us has Brie Saul on their dynasty team? I wonder.

16:55Mike Wright:David Montgomery traded to the Texans for fourth rounder offensive lineman. And a seventh rounder.

17:02Andy Holloway:The Texans traded two linemen. What could go wrong? What are we doing? Listen to this show, Houston. They did this last year.

17:14Jason Moore:Two years ago, they had the worst offensive line. I think it was the worst in the league. It might have been like 31st, but it was awful. And then they got rid of a lot of their line, and it was like, how are you – they're starters. They're losing starters. They're getting worse. Then they were terrible this last year, and now they're getting rid of more. They're like, let's do it again. But what's interesting about this is that it was originally reported that the compensation was a fifth-round pick. and then it changed to more a fourth rounder uh offensive linemen a seventh rounder and there were I think right now it's unconfirmed but pretty substantiated rumors that after it was reported that this trade had been made another team tried to scoop in and pretty much all of it confirmed by

18:05Andy Holloway:Benjamin Albright.

18:06Jason Moore:Right. He's saying that it was the Broncos that came in to try to get David Montgomery for that price or for better, and then the Texans paid more. Regardless, that's...

18:15Mike Wright:Yeah, it turned into a player and a fourth and a seventh.

18:17Jason Moore:Yeah, it's an interesting deal. It obviously has a lot of ramifications for David Montgomery, for Woody Marks, for Jameer Gibbs. Yeah, I've gone full circle. So you're back to where you began.

18:30Mike Wright:I've gone one half of a circle. I don't know, man.

18:34Jason Moore:I've gone oval. Tell me where you started and where you are now. I

18:37Mike Wright:started with a reaction of, oh great, this good running back is free to be what he is capable of being. And then I moved all the way around to where I don't think it's going to be great. And it's not just the offensive line. That's part of the problem. But I mean, we've seen David Montgomery when he's had the reins with a bad offensive line in Chicago and he was the dude there for a while. The system is so perfect in Detroit. obviously great offense high efficiency offense that's not what we've seen from houston now you could you could find some hope i think in the success that joe mixon had yes which i i think you can go that direction i don't think it'll be as good as that because i do think look where does woody marks fit into an offense exactly where he's going to fit in here not the dude but a dude that will get work that the team respects he can now go out for a few plays injured every day because David Montgomery can come in and play and who knows what else they have in the works so to me I feel like he will be the leader of a committee behind a bad offensive line with a quarterback that has shown he's not exactly capable of putting up top half numbers in this league on a d you know with a defense first team so all that to say like what is Monty is he better in Houston than he was in Detroit this past year yes he will be a dead zone running back he just it I'm I'm more on the nervous side now than I think I would have been before because I think when he was in Detroit he was an easy pass in most drafts until late but in Houston I think there will be a percentage of us that are like

20:13Jason Moore:yeah it's gonna work great it will be very interesting it's and he's almost 29 it's so crazy the parallels here with the same team from a few years ago like you had Damian Pierce who was this right late around rookie who came out and was like hey he's a stud you've got your running back on lockdown he's not gonna he's not gonna go away but then the team was like you know what go away go away we want to trade for a 29 year old running back and they brought in Joe Mixon And then it's like, well, Joe Mixon's going to have to split with Damian Pierce. And I don't know. Will it work? And it's not a great offensive line.

20:51Jason Moore:And then Joe Mixon was outstanding and he got all the work and Damian Pierce vanished. And now it's like a couple years later with the same team. They had Woody Marks look pretty good. And then they're like, go, you know, let me trade quite a bit here for a 29-year-old running back who's proven. And I think they're going to give him the work. I really do think that they are making this move because they think it's important for the style of football they want to play. However, that doesn't mean it's going to be easy to work out if the offensive line isn't good. I mean, we saw Jamal Williams be awesome with the Detroit Lions, lead the league in rushing touchdowns, go out and get a bag of money.

21:31Jason Moore:That's a good one to bring out. And then, turns out, the Lions were part of that recipe that mattered. But I do think we have seen success, and we know that Stroud can throw to the running back. You know, it'll be interesting when we stat everybody out for the ultimate draft kit to see how high or how low Montgomery goes. But as far as team volume share, rushing share, target share out of the backfield, I'm going to believe that David Montgomery is very involved.

22:01Mike Wright:The last two times he was in Chicago, I just wanted to look at these numbers and throw them out there, no conclusions. the last two years in Chicago where he had 276 and 241 opportunities he was the running back 21 and running back 23 I could see him at RB 20 this year RB 18 to 20 Mike are you more optimistic

22:17Andy Holloway:than that no I'm on Jason's side of I think he gets all the work but I'm not I'm less confident how successful it will be I mean we didn't even talk about the other side that I wanted to talk about that of because the the reaction gives me that the reaction on in the twitter streets as they should be is like holy crap jameer gibbs 101 in redraft like you throw out all the numbers jameer gibbs games where david montgomery is not there is like he is an unstoppable force and you could do it now he could you could take him 101 now the where i did i just we're on it This is just a full speculation show because we're talking about free agency where we think guys are going to go.

23:01The Lions will do something at the running back position.

23:06Andy Holloway:They will do something. They're not going to go in with, like, I mean, Jacob's sailors, according to our lads, is their current RB2.

23:17Mike Wright:What if they signed Algier?

23:20Andy Holloway:That's what I mean. Could someone sneaky like Algier come in where you're like, oh, boy, that is like that's young David Montgomery that's a difference to me is that

23:33Mike Wright:Gibbs arrived with an incumbent starter who lost his starter job yes this at least whatever free agent move they make is it's in the right order right like you know your number one back is yes it will be understood like I feel I finally feel like we can put Gibbs in that place where you know the workload's guaranteed enough now yes the variables are there i mean they could bring in the jamal williams type they could bring in those guys that get goal line i just want to know how

24:02Jason Moore:mike will feel how he will handle emotionally and practically ken walker the signing of rico dowdle dowdle dowdle is a strong that'll make so much it's a perfect signing for them yeah and

24:16Andy Holloway:because like they're gonna have to pay Gibbs like that is that time is approaching where where are

24:25Mike Wright:we with that with Monty and Detroit while you look at that so he's in Joe Gibbs is going into year

24:29Andy Holloway:four this is a first rounder this is where he will probably be like come on now give me back time give me some more of that cash and available so you can't I'm not saying they can give Gibbs the cash and then go get a superstar running back but someone like dowdle where it can be a a a contract large enough to make you like your eyebrows start to wrinkle at the situation i i think he belongs

24:55Mike Wright:in conversation for number one yeah i i think i think if you took him at number one there's plenty of arguments as to why to take him over cmc at this point oh it it's we be genre the the the

25:07Jason Moore:The 101 right now is in the hands of Tyler Algier. Sure. Where do you go, sir? Does he go back to Atlanta? Yeah, because that's going to change. Because it would cost money to bring him back. Does he go to the Lions? Because it's like Tyler Algier gets to decide fantasy football. You know who I want to go to Detroit?

25:25Mike Wright:I want it to be somebody like Dobbins. I want it to be somebody that is older. It's not the contract of the first. Algier, this is his first contract he's going to get. I want it to be, you know, Dowdle. Dowdle doesn't want to go. I don't think Dowdle wants to go to Detroit. That's the only comforting fact I have there. He may not have a choice, but he said he wants somebody to give him the rock. And goodness, Montgomery left because he wasn't getting the rock. So to me, what is his stat Kyle just threw out? Gibbs has the most total touchdowns in NFL history by any running back through the first three years of his career.

25:57Mike Wright:Oh, yeah. Which is crazy for an undersized running back.

26:02Jason Moore:That's just an insane stat.

26:03Mike Wright:Yeah, we better move on. ESPN on the other side of the coin here they decided Adam Schefter reporting the Vikings will release Aaron Jones if they can't trade him this just in the Vikings will release Aaron Jones yeah no one's gonna trade for Aaron Jones and they need cap space and so bye Emmanuel Wilson

26:20Andy Holloway:Jordan Mason guys

26:23Mike Wright:yeah you know I watched Jordan Mason

26:26Jason Moore:yeah he wasn't very good this year

26:28Mike Wright:he had his moments but that is everything I watched about him said man you need another dude in that backfield

26:34Andy Holloway:but they don't have money. Getting rid of Aaron Jones is purely a financial thing. All reports are he's one of the leaders in the locker room, so this will affect and shake up the vibes of the team that they don't necessarily want to do, but they have to make a move. So I just mean Jordan Mason will still be under contract with an okay amount of money. So he will be the leader, and there will certainly be someone else, and it will come down to just can they fix it. Can they fix the line enough to get Jordan Mason going?

27:08Mike Wright:All right, quick break, and then we'll talk some more news.

27:14Andy Holloway:Football season has arrived.

28:11Mike Wright:packers did not tender restricted free agent emmanuel wilson he will be a free agent okay go to detroit sure i will let you know which players i i would approve in detroit emmanuel wilson is now one of them what about aaron jones fine with me perfect Just have him tour the entire division? That's fine. Oh, man, that's funny. This is a conversation. Yeah. Are we even going to get into predictions?

28:37Jason Moore:Who cares? We're so much news.

28:39Mike Wright:I tried to warn you. This is scary.

28:41Jason Moore:This is legit. I love that we're just teasing it. It's not just a quote. Like, watching it.

28:46Mike Wright:What I'm about to say right now.

28:47Jason Moore:Yeah, I mean, it was scary. It is unbelievable that I'm about to tell you.

28:53Mike Wright:Raiders head coach Clint Kubiak says they, quote, definitely want to have a two-man show at running back this season uh last year ashton jenty saw 39 of the team's total rush attempts and targets only jonathan taylor cmc and bison had a higher percentage they'll be drafting mendoza they've got bowers they've got jenty and that'll be part of the and we've got free agency predictions and i have the raiders with at least one of them but

29:15Jason Moore:we'll have some uh this is not discussions here the staff you know it's like even though ashton was drafted last year it's a it's a new regime and so this is like the the pot that part i don't that part i don't care the thing is is when you spend capital like they did a top 10 pick on on a player you are guaranteed to give them all of the work now his talent will still retain the majority of the work he's too good but that's they're not beholden to that other truth anymore

29:49Andy Holloway:Who else is really, really, really, really good? You're going to say Kenneth Walker. Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker. Yeah, I mean, I'm not really worried about the workload,

29:58Mike Wright:and I'm not really worried about the report, unless you give me a body in Las Vegas that makes me worried about it, because there isn't a body there that's going to do anything.

30:06Andy Holloway:Where I think I have – this is not worries about Ashton Gentry. He is a great player. It is just the circumstances around him, and circumstances for fantasy running backs matter so much. Maybe Mendoza comes in and he is the truth. He's one of these quarterbacks that immediately is like, Justin Herbert, out of the game. Holy crap, this team really, really improved. Or he's like the vast majority of rookies where you're like, okay, I can see it. It's going to take some time. And my projection would be the Raiders are not going to be a good team next year. we we know the numbers of run just fantasy running backs when they're playing with a rookie quarterback their touchdowns are way down that's where it gets scary for genti the receiving work will be there but the pie of of touchdowns is going to remain small and then if you bring someone else in and there is a chance that they are siphoning off touchdowns we didn't see this with the mera though right what do you mean for kubia in in i mean i mean

31:12Mike Wright:We were in New Orleans and Kamara was the dude and he was the dude all the time. Last year we had two years of injured Ken Walker. They liked Charbonnet. I'm just saying I think that if you don't give me a name that I have respect for in Las Vegas' backfield I'm not going to worry about it.

31:28Jason Moore:The backfield is what matters. I do think you just said

31:31Mike Wright:Kamara had all the work for Kubiak.

31:36Andy Holloway:I would go off of the most recent example of Kubiak being in charge of the offense. He did just have great success. And won a Super Bowl.

31:43Jason Moore:Winning a Super Bowl with taking Kenneth Walker and saying, Charbs, you're up.

31:48Andy Holloway:It's not a – this isn't an actionable piece of news as in, like, go trade for Gentry or trade him away. No, no, no, no, no, no. Just be aware of this, that there might be a name that shows up for the Raiders and it will bum you out.

32:05Mike Wright:Yeah, it sounds like they're going to need to add somebody if he wants to have a two running back committee because Lowby is not going to be the answer. Neither is Mostert, who is 200 years old, or Zamir White, who I think we have one of his runs here.

32:22Jason Moore:And it's also possible that when he was, you know, when he was the coach with Kamara, remember that the back they brought in, you know, to be that other guy was Kendra Miller, who never got to play football.

32:36Mike Wright:Sure. Yeah, they could not get somebody else on the field.

32:42Andy Holloway:But that speaks to your current depth chart says. Oh, I'm in agreement with that. They have to bring someone in.

32:49Mike Wright:Yeah, look, everyone's got their own opinion. This bothers me zero for Ashton Gentry. All the problems with Gentry before this news, I have a problem with. Like you just brought up. You just brought up rookie quarterback, touchdown opportunities, and offensive line. I don't care about any committee situation.

33:04Andy Holloway:Best ball, running back seven, the 12th overall pick. I mean,

33:09Mike Wright:give me more names that have a better ceiling than Jente.

33:12Jason Moore:Who would you rather have right now, Jente or Hampton? Omari and Hampton or Ashton Jente?

33:19Mike Wright:Honestly, probably Jente. I don't like saying that. I have Hampton. Interesting. Probably Jente.

33:24Jason Moore:Let's say Jeremiah Love goes to the Washington Commanders at 7. Jeremiah Love. Yeah.

33:30Mike Wright:All right. Yeah. No, Jeremiah Love is really, really good at football. Yeah.

33:34Andy Holloway:In our combine chatter, we didn't even talk about him. because he was already the consensus number one rookie pick, and it's now even more.

33:41Mike Wright:Jinty has tons of red flag situations going on right now. But when I think of best ball, I'm thinking of who could freaking take the league over next year. You watched him in the last handful of games having those. That offense was putrid, and he had breakaway runs and breakaway catches. I'm just thinking of explosiveness. It's like, are we having this conversation next year going, oh, remember when we said that? Maybe, yeah. Jinty's RB2 or something. because part of the equation of all those red flags that we should give Kubiak credit for is he's freaking awesome like they have they don't have Pete Carroll they have a freaking awesome coach in Clint Kubiak who everybody wanted and there's just no way Mendoza's less competent than the last two years of quarterback and it's not Pete Carroll's son running the offensive line right so it's like maybe they'll have more touchdown opportunities with a better coach um okay i hadn't seen one of these rumors we're talking about uh a couple of different things here i i hesitated to bring one up because i thought maybe we'd talk about it in free agency predictions but i'm gonna bring it up now sure the giants are quote seriously looking at some of the top running backs in draft and free agency thank you the people hate it the people people

34:49Jason Moore:hate it the people hate it we all hate it don't you hurt my camp scataboo i know he's only got

34:55Mike Wright:one leg right now but it makes obvious yeah sense that they'd be doing that i know but i don't and

35:03Andy Holloway:i don't like it either but but the names and the amount of money it will take yeah i mean they're they're talking about they're talking about jeremiah love that they've been rumored there's rumors around ken walker yeah the walker ones are the rumors where it's like if to bring it the reason why they're saying well seattle is saying we're probably not going to get walker back is because of the bag of money he's going to get like if you're ken walker and money's all the same why would you go to the giants and not just go back to seattle it would have to take an amount of money to lure me away from the team i just won the super fifth overall so the love conversation

35:40Mike Wright:if he's not gone by then we'll be we'll be watching with bated breath it sucks because this is the you know this is the second blow of the injury to camp scatter that you know if he doesn't get hurt this conversation is not happening because you feel really good about him and you just feel about adding an ancillary piece but with the injury the severity of it the timetable the risk of re-injury the risk of getting back at full speed hate it the giants are sitting there going well look we're not going into the season with just this one asset at running back jim harbaugh that's why i was that's why i was so excited about tyrone tracy being very

36:16Jason Moore:Compton because I felt like Tyrone Tracy could hold off the Giants doing this. This was my big fear. So I was like, Tyrone Tracy's good enough to let Cam have the time and then come back and take over. Maybe it's smoke. That's my hope. That's my hope.

36:32Mike Wright:I mean, maybe it's to make the people drafting at six and seven and eight think that they want Jeremiah Love and whip swap them. Yeah, I sure. Let's do it. Let's go with that. Cam, because I got a boom. I rebuke this

36:47Mike Wright:Kyle rebukes this one Jeremy Fowler reporting a head coach told him at the scouting combine to watch for Tua Tungabailoa to Atlanta um what do you get when you have two left-handed quarterbacks

37:00Andy Holloway:that can't complete a pass there there was a two lefts don't make a right another interesting rumor which uh uh so Matthew Barry writes a an article every year it's a great article because he goes the combine and he gets a bunch of rumors. And one of them was Joe Flacco to Atlanta. That makes so much sense. Oh my gosh. Also, that would rule. Imagine Drake London back in Stefanski's offense, catching passes from Joe Flacco. That would rule, man.

37:33Jason Moore:45 % target share.

37:35Andy Holloway:Tua?

37:36Mike Wright:No. Vikings? Reporting. This report's from Tony Pauline. they're quietly exploring an exit strategy for jj mccarthy hasn't been that quiet no i think it's

37:48Jason Moore:like i can't get away from the rumors of they're totally willing to move on right away

37:54Mike Wright:kyler murray geno smith anthony richardson all names that have been mentioned the

38:00Andy Holloway:i mean you never are 100 sure where it's coming from like is the call coming from inside the house we don't know that for sure but it's like if you're minnesota and this is what's going on right now like you you better replace him like you can't have an entire off season of this of like jj mccarthy anytime there's the sports rumors are on like we're gonna get rid of mccarthy we want

38:27Mike Wright:someone else like you know you better do it this reminds me of like let's say you're putting on a play and you cast a bunch of people and then they cast jj mccarthy for this role and then he gets up there and the dude can't sing but everybody's around him just saying like no it sounds all right no it sounds pretty look everybody in the audience everybody in the on the team around him they know the truth and we're all wanting to say maybe he'll come along but now instead of him just being good The story is he has to become good. That's the problem with J.J. McCarthy. You can believe he's going to become good, but you can't possibly feel as good about him now than before he played.

39:08Mike Wright:And we're all going, yeah, you know what? Maybe use some voice lessons. You know what I mean? Kevin O 'Connell, he's a whisperer, man. What's ironic about this situation is the last time that a team drafted someone

39:22Jason Moore:very high to be their future and then immediately moved on, it was easier because they had the number one pick it was our Arizona Cardinals they drafted Kyler Murray and got rid of Josh Rosen after one you know flame out year and then the ironic part is the only way that the Vikings can truly just easily move on is also Kyler Murray like if they can just go and sign Kyler he can but I'm saying that would give it I think if they knew that they had Kyler in tow if he was a free agent and signed or they could trade for him or whatever I think they would do that in a heartbeat and move on.

39:54Mike Wright:If they have Kyler, the entire offseason discussion around every single player on the Vikings offense is different.

40:00Jason Moore:Oh, yeah. And all of a sudden. And we don't like Kyler that much. And all of a sudden, everyone out there is going to love Kyler if he goes to the Vikings.

40:07Mike Wright:Yeah. And the other report, Anthony Richardson, that was the report about them having an interest in a trade. The Colts are going to move on from Anthony Richardson. Jason and I had briefly talked about him a little bit in the office. is he still lives with this aura of promise that formerly was there, but we forget he's played a lot of football.

40:25Jason Moore:He played more games than I remember this last year. I went back and I looked and I was like, oh, that's some bad. Yeah, 11 games last year. Passing percentage? What?

40:34Mike Wright:I know, right? No, no, no, the year before. Oh. Four last year. Okay, man. We're in February, so the last year moniker is a little bit, yeah. Gotcha. This past year, four games, the year before, 11.

40:45Jason Moore:And you were out, but let me ask you this, because he obviously has physical tools that are unteachable. If you were – Please don't teach me his tools. Would you rather have J.J. McCarthy or Anthony Richardson? In Minnesota? No. A totally different team, general manager. They're both on the market, and they're both dealing with the same stuff, which is they had promise, but then you saw them, and it was a lot of uh-ohs.

41:14Mike Wright:that part of you could say hey i just want somebody to run around and figure things out yeah and then there's most of me says jj mccarthy i'd take mccarthy yeah yeah because he had some good games no yes and that he did you sound like but anthony richard had some awesome he sung a couple songs pretty good oh man but man he can't hit the high notes you remember that locker room yeah name he did give us that that would be the greatest contribution potentially he gets to the yeah Josh Rosen never gave us anything that good. The meme? No. Not as good as that meme. We've got to take another break, and then we're into it.

43:39Mike Wright:free agent frenzy

43:44Mike Wright:all right we're going to get into our predictions uh and man are they going to be so correct I can't wait. It's a good time to let you know the NFL's cap is now$301 million. It had kind of been moving upwards and upwards and upwards. It went down right after COVID. But to go from$208 million in 2022 to$301 million in 2026 is unbelievably amazing. I feel like the NFL is doing all right. But in terms of teams with cap room, it's always good to –

44:20Andy Holloway:It makes me even angrier at Bill Bidwell, dude.

44:23Mike Wright:Oh, right. Yeah. What? Cap room for teams, Titans number one, Raiders number two, Jets number three, Chargers number four. And that was –

44:31Jason Moore:How angry is Bidwell when the cap number comes out? Daggummit, you're raising this thing to 301?

44:39Mike Wright:True. He's like, I ain't got that money. Got to pay my players. I think these numbers are all before the cap raise as well. So I think there's a handful of teams, the Titans, Raiders, Jets, and Chargers, who will have over$100 million in available cap space for those teams.

44:53Jason Moore:The Chargers are so exciting. I know that I'm like a lifelong Herbert Stan, but at the same time, that is if you look at the teams that have a lot of money, not many of them have as many tools and weapons available. No, that one stands out.

45:07Mike Wright:They're just ahead of the game. Titans, Raiders, Jets are three horrible teams.

45:11Jason Moore:And they lost two really good tackles last year. Imagine that team. They get those two tackles back.

45:18Andy Holloway:Shore up the inside of the line.

45:19Jason Moore:They don't have to spend this cap money to get some tackles. They just get them for free.

45:25Mike Wright:Yeah, and then they get to go spend the money. It's not free.

45:28Jason Moore:Well, for the same price they were already paying. They're not paying a dollar more.

45:33Mike Wright:The Seahawks have a lot of space, and they're going to be able to pay the guys they need to pay in that young defense as well.

45:38Andy Holloway:um jsn about to just consume that entire cap we're recording this uh episode in the afternoon of

45:48Mike Wright:march 2nd so it's being listened to on tuesday 4 p.m eastern is the franchise tag deadline the legal tampering period where teams can enter contract negotiations is monday march 9th and then wednesday march 10th is the official beginning of the league year which is just about one week away. I'm the reigning champion of free agency predictions? That's never happened before, and it must have been a score of 2-1-1. But I'll take it. Amazing, Kyle. We get so many of them right. Well, this year for sure. All right, we'll start at the quarterback position. Just two names we want to throw predictions out for.

46:29Mike Wright:Really kind of just one. Daniel Jones, who is a free agent.

46:33Jason Moore:they've talked about tagging him whether it's a transition a franchise they're working on a contract I think the expectation is he's going to be a cult the reason that they're literally willing to shop Anthony Richardson is because right they know their solution and I don't think Daniel Jones wants to go anywhere I can't imagine that it doesn't work out for him to stay in

46:53Mike Wright:Indianapolis so the big name then is Malik Willis in terms of free agency predictions and we actually all have different destinations for Malik Willis. So rubber meets the road right now. Who do you got, Mike? So I have the Cleveland Browns.

47:08Andy Holloway:Honestly, I think it really comes down to two teams, and it's not the one that Jason's going with. I think it's either my team or yours, Andy. It's just such a – it's a weird situation where teams should want Malik Willis. What you have seen, not just last year, but two years ago as well, he seems like a starting quarterback in the league. But for a guy who seems like a starting quarterback and the amount of money that your team will have to commit to him, that's where it becomes difficult to figure out who's actually willing to take that jump.

47:49Mike Wright:So he had three starts the last two years in Green Bay. And I'm going with Cleveland. He had rushing totals of 73, 60, and 41 in those games. That is a fantasy superpower. I actually believe in Malik Willis being a really good quarterback. Mike went with the Browns. I was between the Browns and my Arizona Cardinals. I think that's where I'm going to go with Arizona. I think they'll spend the money on Malik Willis. I'm trying to not let the like. The$30 million number should shock you. however you just had a cap go from 208 million dollars to 301 million dollars in four years those numbers it's market rate for quarterbacks um he's earned it or he'll have earned it that's that's where and um i get it it's if you're gonna pay him to be a starter you're gonna have to pay starter money that's all i'm saying and there are multiple teams that seem to want to make him a starter including maybe Jason Spick yeah this is where he's going to end up going um oh

48:48Jason Moore:it will be the Packers East uh the the new Miami Dolphins regime is basically coming from my uh is coming from Green Bay this is the they their new GM their head coach they are intimately familiar with Malik Willis and they've got connections to him that's that's essentially why I've got them going to the Dolphins. The Dolphins need a quarterback. They're familiar with them. And we just see too often when things happen, it's like, well, who were you connected to? What, what, what personnel were you comfortable with? Who did you know? And that's, you know, where players go and who coaches want.

49:25Mike Wright:And that's, that's part of the Arizona thing too.

49:28Jason Moore:Yeah, sure. It's, I mean, there's obviously in the NFL, like most teams have a handful of connections to other players. These ones are pretty direct and the need is, is for all three of these teams. So we'll see.

49:38Mike Wright:I'm excited i think we're going to see malik willis as a starter which adds a very interesting name

49:43Andy Holloway:to the quarterback pool for fantasy players for next year the it's kyler murray is the domino of what does arizona actually decide to do with with murray do they keep him for another year do they just full-on cut him i think he'll be released maybe by the time the show is being

49:59Jason Moore:yeah it sounds like he's going to be released which i just can't imagine you can't get something

50:03Mike Wright:it happens so often you know that though yeah there are these big names that this happens so often where you're like, you've got to be able to get something. Somebody should throw you a third, a fourth. Whatever. You'd be like, I'd take an eighth. You know what I mean?

50:19Andy Holloway:Sir, there's not an eighth round.

50:21Mike Wright:Deal. I'd take 50 bucks. It's amazing, but it happens all the time where these guys just get cut. Running backs. We have one. We'll start with the one we're unanimous on. It's Brees Hall, 24 years old, despite all of our hopes, dreams, and his goals for his life, he seems to be he's going to be a Jet. He's going to be a Jet by contract or by when you're listening to this, he'll either have signed a contract or been franchised. That's the truth. So let's go with Ken Walker. We have three different destinations for Ken Walker. Let's start with Jason.

50:54Jason Moore:I'm going to have him going back to the Seahawks. I know that he can get a lot of money on the market, but they won the Super Bowl. He wants to come back. They want him back. I'm not bullish that he goes back to Seattle because all running backs should take the bag. Go test the market and take the bag.

51:12Mike Wright:You're confident enough to pick them.

51:13Jason Moore:I'm giving the Super Bowl nod to the reunite.

51:16Mike Wright:I'm going with the New York football Giants. I think that they make a splash. Harbaugh. Be a smokescreen. Be a smokescreen. I'm going to go with the sad truth. Ken Walker to the Giants.

51:26Andy Holloway:Mike? No. I'm going Washington. They really need a running back. and I don't know. I just feel like they need to make a splash at that position and get it shored up.

51:38Mike Wright:All right, Travis Etienne Jr., 27 years old, three different destinations here predicted for him. I'm going to go with Arizona. I think part of this offseason, the bad press, the Cardinals are dumb. They will be dumb again. They'll be dumb and spend on Malik, and they'll be dumb and spend on Travis Etienne. Arizona with James Conner's injury Benson's injury I mean they went through four or five running backs last year Etienne's a dual threat I think they bring Arizona Etienne to Arizona and we're talking about Willis and Travis Etienne

52:11Jason Moore:Yeah I've got him going to the Chiefs I know the Chiefs are everyone's Favorite place to pick for Jeremiah Love To go but I don't know that he lasts Till the ninth pick and the Chiefs Clearly need a A good Workhorse dual threat running back I don't feel like Kareem Hunt and Pacheco, this version, post-broken leg, are good enough. So I would love that. And maybe this is just hopeful as I've got him on my dynasty roster. Come on, go to Kansas City.

52:42Andy Holloway:Pacheco and Kareem Hunt, well, they won't be there. They have to do something. I'm going with a – running back is always fun because you can be surprised. Yeah, you're like, well, these are the four teams that clearly have to go get a running back. and then it's like, oh, this team that you thought they were perfectly fine, I'm going with the Chicago Bears. Makes sense. This is a DeAndre Swift release? Not necessarily. It might just be, hey, like, look, Monongai was great. He was a seventh-round pick, though, and it happens to those guys all the time. The Monty to his – Bring ETN in, and it's not necessarily a Swift release.

53:21Andy Holloway:It might be both of them this year and then prepping for when DeAndre Swift is no longer on the team.

53:27Jason Moore:Swift is a$1 million dead cap if they release him. It may be a cut, too. J.K. Dobbins.

53:34Mike Wright:He was good. J.K. Dobbins last year was very good in Denver, got hurt. We just talked about Denver. They were maybe swooping in to get David Montgomery. Dobbins, I have going back to Denver. Mike, you have him going back to Denver.

53:45Jason Moore:I love him going back to Denver. He was good in Denver. He says he wants to be a Bronco. but the things Sean Payton has been saying, I mean, he talked about their three biggest needs this offseason, the three positions they're going after the most. I don't remember one of them. I think it was the defense. The other was tight end and running back. If you remember anything, remember these three things. Something, number one, I don't remember. Number two. But number two is a big one. Look, I don't care about the defensive side of the ball here on his needs, but I was surprised that he said running back is like one of their biggest.

54:17Jason Moore:Get bodied RJ Harvey. I know RJ Harvey so because of that I think they're looking and they were the rumored team that was trying to get David Montgomery I think they've got a type they want a bruiser and so I've got him leaving and going to the Falcons

54:31Mike Wright:okay well the bruiser you've got coming to Denver is the next man up yes I've got Tyler Algier Jason you have him going to the Denver little swapski team swaps yeah there you go I've got him going to Washington I think the Washington splash might not be as exciting as the one you had predicted Algier would be fun. And Mike, this would be the same case in your... I'm going with Kansas City.

54:53Andy Holloway:I went him over Travis Etienne because I think that they need... While Etienne is a versatile player, they need a thumper on the ground. They need a beef boy. They need someone who can actually make the other team very scared of the run. It's almost like they should have drafted Jonathan Taylor over Clyde Edwards. Almost like that should have happened. But that's a huge part of what's missing for the Chiefs is no one's scared that they're going to just take over the game on the ground, get those safeties pulled forward, and then hit with a deep play. So I'm going with Beef Boy, Algier, and the Chiefs.

55:31Mike Wright:Enrico Dato will predict for him as well. I have him actually going to the team with a ton of cap space. I have him going to the Chargers. I think he could look at the Chargers situation with the offensive line coming back and the opportunity and say, hey, I can make a mark there. It's Omarion Hampton. He's young. you know, you're not really dealing with anybody else there. I'm going to go the Chargers for Dowdle.

55:51Jason Moore:I'm going to go the Saints. Yeah, that makes sense. They've got Kamara and not a lot, and Kamara's old, and he just feels like a good stopgap for them.

56:01Andy Holloway:I'm going with Arizona. I think they move forward with Trey Benson and not a super high-tier running back, but someone to compliment Benson as the writing on the wall in Arizona is that James Conner's time will be done in Arizona. And I think if I'm Rico and looking at if Benson's the starter, I'm going to come here because I think I could take the job.

56:27Jason Moore:How many minutes before you would own a Rico Dowdle jersey? After the signing.

56:34Mike Wright:Wide receiver predictions. We're going to start with the 32-and-a-half-year-old Mike Evans. This is so sad. And none of the three of us have him going back to Tampa Bay.

56:43Jason Moore:He needs to re-sign with Tampa. He is a lifelong buck. He needs to retire as a buck.

56:48Mike Wright:It's like Larry. Larry just stayed here in Arizona. You want to be first ballot, you stay home. But we didn't predict that. I have him going to the 49ers in a splash move, getting a big name there. They need it bad.

56:59Jason Moore:They do. Someone else needs it bad. Mike and I both have the same team, the Bills. He's going to a Super Bowl contender. If you leave, it's only to chase a ring. And so you've got to say, what team can I put over the top? The Bills are perfect.

57:14Mike Wright:Oh, my gosh, I need him to leave for a Bucca. Sure. I feel like that would just rebirth some optimism there.

57:19Jason Moore:For fantasy, I would like Mike Evans to leave.

57:22Mike Wright:Yeah.

57:22Jason Moore:For the NFL, I certainly want him to be a Buccaneer until he retires.

57:27Mike Wright:Well, it is a slight step down, not in the Hall of Fame tier anymore. But Alec Pierce, 25 years old, had a great season.

57:38Mike Wright:ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports the Colts have, quote, made it clear to Alec Pierce that he would be a Colt either through the tag or a long-term deal. So I will go with the Colts.

57:47Jason Moore:I've got the Colts as well, but the issue here is that they're kind of saying the same thing about Daniel Jones and Alec Pierce. And they can only tag one of them. Yeah, exactly.

57:54Mike Wright:How about if he left? Do you want to give a, like we all say Colts, but if he leaves. I wasn't prepared for that game. Well, there are a lot of different contenders. You don't have to do it. If he leaves. I have the Patriots.

58:07Jason Moore:If he leaves, I would go Titans.

58:08Mike Wright:Okay, that's good. Raiders are up there, I'm sure. If he leaves, I'm going to go Washington.

58:17Andy Holloway:Washington.

58:18Mike Wright:Okay.

58:19Andy Holloway:Did you guys see the reports of it seems certain that Debo will not be there?

58:24Mike Wright:Oh. Oh, I hadn't seen that. Yeah, that seems about right. It's time to move on. Debo and Tyreek, we loved you for a long time. It's over. Wandale Robinson, 25 years old. I didn't realize this. We all have them going to the same spot. Yeah, we're boring here.

58:36Jason Moore:We've all got them going to the Titans. The day ball connection is obvious there. I think. And the loser tax. Right.

58:44Andy Holloway:Yeah. If I'm Wondale Robinson. Oh, yeah. You want to get that loser money. Yeah. Loser money. Like, you're Tennessee? No, that's another zero on there.

58:53Mike Wright:That's why Alec Pierce to the Raiders is also a possibility. Yeah, it could be. Let's go through a couple tight ends here. Kyle Pitts already signed the franchise tag. David Njoku, Dallas Goddard. It's weird because when you say those names, I think of Goddard as somehow younger than Njoku. Really? Because Njoku has been around for so long. and been hurt and not hurt and good and not good and just been around the block for so long. Goddard is two years older than Najoku. I've got Najoku going to the Dolphins and Dallas Goddard signing in Philadelphia back home.

59:24Jason Moore:Yeah, the reports from local beat reporters recently have Goddard pretty confidently going back to Philly, which I was surprised with. That's why I went to Philly.

59:32Andy Holloway:Then we had another one that he is definitely not going back to Philly. Ah, there you go.

59:37Jason Moore:The rumor in the middle this year is wow. You see how I easily won last year. I don't think it's going to be a hot market for him at his current age, but he's a safety blanket. He had the most touchdowns. Taking him away from Jalen Hurts feels foolish right now, and if he doesn't command a big market, I think they'll do it. David Njoku is the prized possession, in my opinion, of current existing tight ends available on free agent on the market, and the Broncos' Sean Payton really wants someone like Njoku.

1:00:08Mike Wright:Would you like to know why he feels older?

1:00:11Jason Moore:Why?

1:00:12Mike Wright:Najoku feels older than Goddard? He doesn't to me. Well, he entered the league a year before Goddard. Yeah, he's played more. He came in. No, I know. I'm just saying he's had more seasons, so that's why it feels that way to him. I'm pretty sure he was drafted at like eight years old.

1:00:24Jason Moore:Eight years old. He was such a baby boy.

1:00:27Mike Wright:No, but he started in 2017, Goddard in 2018. So my mind had the draft class, not the age. Yeah. Do you have him going back to Philly, Mike? Yeah, I have Goddard going back to Philly. And what about Najoku?

1:00:36Andy Holloway:I'm going to send him to the Bucs. Okay, you lose Evans, and then you've got to go make a splash. Yeah, Mark Evans, and I think Cade Otten is – Cade's a free agent, right? Let me double-check that.

1:00:48Mike Wright:Yeah, he is. He is. So is Isaiah Likely, another interesting name, Darren Waller, a fan. Travis Kelsey.

1:00:54Andy Holloway:Darren Waller, you. Yeah.

1:00:58Mike Wright:Oh, man. Yeah. So here we go. I mean, by the time you're listening to this, the franchise tag deadline is over. some of the news uh might have already broke but we're a week away from the new league year and a lot of new homes updating all our player profiles for new teams for some of these players and um you know ken walker that's one of the bigger names that we're going to see where he ends up it's funny because you're like i'd like to see ken walker go back to seattle and do his thing right but at the same time you're like man change is fun yeah change is exciting it's the unknown and who knows what's going to happen.

1:01:29Andy Holloway:As long as it's not New York. Yes, thank you. Oh, man. It might be. We'll see. We have a Thursday show. It's a big one. The Walker Bros. Can't handle that? We can't survive enough. Look, we were on top of the world when we had Ken Walker all alone. And then Sharbs in the second round ruins everything to feel like we have finally escaped the clutches of Charbonnet to go to Scadaboo. A guy you like. I love Scadaboo. You didn't even like Sharbs. No, I did. I love Sharbs. That was part of the problem.

What you get from over two decades of tasting and tweaking and throwing it out and starting over, chasing flavors until they feel alive. That might sound crazy, and that's because it is. Jenny's. Often imitated, never duplicated, always splendid.
