In short

Halloween-themed Fantasy Football show covering Week 9 matchups, injury/news updates, and start/sit recommendations (including QB decisions and key waiver/DFS plays).

Guests

No external guests. Hosts are Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright. Guest/extra participants include “Meowson Taylor” (filling in for the New York Jets) and “Cam Scadaboo” (Giants-themed character). They also reference “Al Borland” as a matchup opponent in the segment.

Key claims

  • Travis Hunter placed on injured reserve with a non-contact knee injury; this changes targets and boosts Brian Thomas Jr. (BTJ) and Parker Washington.
  • Joe Flacco returned to limited practice; Flacco says he’s feeling good and had a positive reaction after throwing.
  • Multiple injury notes: DeAndre Swift and Luther Burden not practicing; Ramondre Stevenson again didn’t practice, opening opportunity for Travion Henderson.
  • Kyler Murray QB situation is unclear; hosts lean toward Jacoby Brissette if Kyler sits, but discuss starting Kyler if active.
  • Start/sit: avoid chasing RJ Harvey despite potential workload; prefer higher-upside options like Nick Chubb.

Notable examples

  • Colts-Steelers shootout talk: Daniel Jones, Jonathan Taylor, Michael Pittman, Alec Pierce, Josh Downs, Jalen Warren.
  • Texans vs Broncos: Texans defense limits Bo Nix upside; start Kyler if playing.
  • Jags-Raiders: Brock Bowers expected back; focus on Bowers/Etienne/Gentry and BTJ/Washington target shifts.
  • Chiefs-Bills: discuss Keon Coleman separation concerns; like Bills at home.

1:39Mike Wright:Welcome in to the show. We hope you're watching on YouTube. YouTube.com slash The Fantasy Footballers. happy Halloween one and all just another regular day here

1:51Andy Holloway:I better be watching for what I sat through

1:54Mike Wright:well let's go there first let me introduce our host for the day we have Meowson Taylor in the building tight in for the New York Jets and then we're going over here we got Cam Scadaboo Woo! Woo! Woo! Oh, wow.

2:18Andy Holloway:The tongue jangle and everything. Okay.

2:20Mike Wright:You doing all right there, Cam? Woo! Feeling great, man. Yeah, you already getting better? Yeah. Everything is good. I'm going to be back soon. Yeah, that's a few too many bottles on the desk. Woo! Happy Halloween, everybody. I'm Indiana Jones. I think I had the easier path this morning. compared to Mike. My 7-1 culture doing well, though.

2:45Andy Holloway:Yeah, congratulations on that one.

2:47Mike Wright:No, I really redeemed my entire image. I used to play for the team that this guy plays for. Go Giants. 4-4-6.

2:57Jason Moore:Eating dubs? Eating dubs, eating crayons. Eating my crayon snacks. You got crayon snacks today? Yeah, I got crayons to eat.

3:05Mike Wright:Oh, boy. Jason was made to play this character. Power food. You're going to power? Wait, you're actually going to eat the crayons. Okay. Oh, he's eating crayons. No, we are eating the crayons. He's eating crayons here on the show. Woo! Huh. Your recovery is going well. You on some painkillers? Oh, yeah. Okay. Oh, yeah. The people's running back himself.

3:27Andy Holloway:Gotta wash those crayons down with a big glass of water.

3:30Mike Wright:If you're watching the show, and we've got a great one for you today. We've got more matchups, fancy face-off. We've got a lot of stuff. If you're watching the show, he has got not only an authentic New York Giants helmet, because he has Cam Scadaboo, but this was an authentic, legitimately, Cam Scadaboo's face mask.

3:48Jason Moore:Game war. Let me tell you, Footland, this is not a joke. This is something that blew our minds. We know how violent football is. Guys, I don't think the camera on YouTube can pick this up. Maybe we'll put it on socials. this face mask the metal inside or whatever it is it is completely broken and exposed from

4:12Andy Holloway:this way a lot of bends a lot of insane chips how hard these hits are until you see how many

4:20Mike Wright:how many of those dings come from a brick wall though it's a good question probably a quarter

4:25Jason Moore:of them but i've seen them play this comes from in game it is beat up and gnarly and this i'm not

4:32Mike Wright:joking that's actually cam scataboo's yeah old face mask courtesy of green gridiron who provided the helmet for us i i was shocked to find out that they refurbished these uh face masks for

4:44Jason Moore:the giants but now you look very made our uh our set piece as well yeah you look very authentic i

4:50Mike Wright:i am cam scataboo and mike is just sitting over there looking hey i'm just doing what cats do man Yeah, not breaking tackles.

5:03Well, we've got a show.

5:05Mike Wright:It's Foot Clan Friday. It's news time. We have horrible news. Horrible news today. Oh, yeah, we do.

5:13Andy Holloway:I mean, I forgot about it.

5:16Mike Wright:Can't have cool things in fantasy football. A reminder, jointhefoot.com is the community. We had a Thursday night game. It was 28 to 6.

5:25Andy Holloway:it was incredible and yet so very frustrating as uh if like if you had derrick henry or you had zay flowers and you're watching lamar throw four touchdowns that you just you can't we weren't allowed to have any of those derrick henry had a great game i mean mark andrews got him yeah derrick henry did have a great game i agree by the end he had over 100 yards on the the ground 19 for 110 or 119. Zay Flowers a 5 for 64. I'm just saying, when you see them get to the goal line and you're like, here we go, Derek Henry time. And they do one. Henry Rohn on first and second. He had two goal opportunities.

6:07Andy Holloway:I know. And then the play action and easy touchdowns. It's funny how different we are on this. It's just frustrating.

6:13Jason Moore:So listening to how we're talking about this is indicative of our teams.

6:17Andy Holloway:Yeah.

6:17Jason Moore:You had to. I am playing against. I'm with the people. No. I'm with the people.

6:22Andy Holloway:You're playing Mark Andrews like a psychopath. Yeah, I am, baby.

6:26Mike Wright:Oh, man.

6:26Andy Holloway:Goal and stuff. I'm playing against

6:28Jason Moore:Eric Henry. Two catches for Mark Andrews. Woo! It was good.

6:31Mike Wright:Yeah, I, you know, Derek Henry himself, it was fine. Zay Flowers, 5 for 64. You can live with it with how it started. Lamar is back. He looked great. The Dolphins are. They just let go of their GM this morning.

6:45Jason Moore:They let go of their GM. They did come out and say that. Because that'll fix it now. They did say that head coach McDonald's will be Mike McDaniel. Oh my gosh. McDonald's. Yeah, that's what I said. He will be the head coach for the remainder of the season.

6:59Mike Wright:I still feel like they play hard for him.

7:02Jason Moore:You felt that way last night?

Read the full transcript

7:04Mike Wright:Yes. Okay. I mean, they were outmatched. They also got... I would say that Tua can play as hard as he can and not be good.

7:12Andy Holloway:They took two really bad penalties. Yes.

7:16Mike Wright:They also missed a 35-yard field goal that would have got it closer in the beginning.

7:20Andy Holloway:The first one, what was the first? I can't even remember. It was, oh, the huge Jalen Waddle catch. Yeah. Where, you all right over there? He keeps shaking his head like camp. Yeah, he's just trying to wake up. Try to fix it. I talked to the refs.

7:32Jason Moore:I let him know this is just part of my. Can you try to fix it? Fix what? Fix my shaking head? Yeah, your head check. Yeah. Yeah, I could try. I could try. Okay. Let me try. Let me try. Let me try to fix it. Ah!

7:46Mike Wright:Ah!

7:47Jason Moore:Ah!

7:48Mike Wright:Ah! Oh, my gosh. Yeah, I feel a lot better now. You feel better? What? I feel a lot better. Every once in a while, you may be. What is happening? He just shattered three bottles on his head. What?

8:01Andy Holloway:I didn't know I needed protective eye gear over here. Boy, I love. Let me know if you need to borrow the helmet.

8:06Mike Wright:That's a lot of glass. That's a lot of glass.

8:10Andy Holloway:I am sitting in so much glass.

8:12Jason Moore:There was glasses everywhere.

8:14Andy Holloway:There was a huge Jalen Waddle catch.

8:16Mike Wright:What do you think happens when you eat crayons? I don't know if I would eat this oh he's trying to eat the glass oh and he did

8:23Jason Moore:that's not edible

8:26Andy Holloway:Jalen Waddle humongous catch gets called back the penalties on that one seemed a little ticky tack you had the return huge return and there was a penalty on that one which that one yes I technically was but it's like it's so far away that it would not have impacted the play it just it sucks when it goes

8:44Mike Wright:down like that I will give so much credit to the guy who always delivers, Devon A-Chan. I mean, it wasn't a monstrous game, but man, so smooth. Just every week. Such a good player. I mean, when you were talking about Travion becoming the A-Chan at some point in time. Yeah, I think using him like that would be appropriate. It would be good. I just think A-Chan, man, he's on another level right now.

9:03Jason Moore:Jason needs a dust bust. Dude, my laptop is covered in broken glass.

9:07Mike Wright:Yeah, yeah, that's good. There's so much.

9:10Jason Moore:My seat, I made a mistake.

9:13Mike Wright:Glad there's five more bottles on the table. I should do four.

9:18Jason Moore:okay

9:20Mike Wright:there's fewer now we'll move on it is Friday

9:27Jason Moore:put clan Friday

9:33Jason Moore:I've uh dude I should have worn full pants my legs are really hurting with all this

9:38Mike Wright:glass oh my gosh you look like you're Donald ducking it over there

9:42Jason Moore:yeah Yeah.

9:46Mike Wright:What did I say? He's your Patronix in real life? He's my Patronix, yes.

9:49Jason Moore:I love Kim Scadaboo more than any player of all time. He is my spirit animal. Get well soon.

9:55Mike Wright:All right, Foot Clan Friday winner, say yo. Say yo. Winning a$100 gift card to FantasyChamps.com. We give$100 away every Friday to a supporter at JoinTheFoot.com. Let's get to that crappy news. I might need to borrow a bottle.

10:11Jason Moore:News and notes from around the league. presented by Progressive Insurance.

10:18Mike Wright:Remember, just have yourself a little crayon snack. We gotta have a little crayon snack.

10:22Jason Moore:Tell me what's going on.

10:24Mike Wright:Okay. What in the world are you doing? This is who he is. Okay. He's been hiding this person his entire life.

10:32Andy Holloway:He also can't see anything. No, he's blind. I can't see anything.

10:35Mike Wright:No glasses, completely blind.

10:37Jason Moore:I didn't realize how bad my eyes have been until today.

10:41Mike Wright:That crane looks like it's got some dyes in it based on what I'm seeing. Adam Schefter, or sorry, Jaguars wide receiver, Travis Hunter. We had heard there was a practice injury a couple days ago, and we didn't hear anything else. Well, he's been placed on the injured reserve with a non-contact knee injury. All of the current comments coming out, you know, it's a four-game minimum on the IR.

11:11Andy Holloway:non-contact in practice

11:14Mike Wright:I am in a matchup of epic importance this week against Al Borland and Travis Hunter I mean all the hype around Travis Hunter we heard the guys you're starting

11:24Andy Holloway:and to lose Travis Hunter is devastating

11:26Jason Moore:I almost made him my start of the week this week the way that they were using him on offense he pretty much wasn't playing defense you're still digging glass out of your groin that is correct My legs are covered in glass. You're just going to have to. I'm just going to have to deal with it. But he was being used as a full-time offensive player, had his breakout game, looked great. Now, on the flip side, I think there were reasons to be concerned with Brian Thomas Jr. With the emergence of, like, if the number one target ended up going to Travis Hunter, obviously that would be bad. However, now BTJ is all alone again.

12:05Jason Moore:Surely this will fix the problems. I think it will. I genuinely think he's going to have – I don't think so.

12:11Andy Holloway:Yeah, I believe – I think he's hurt. I think that he's way more hurt than they're letting us know. Maybe. We're going to have – we're going to get into the offseason. Oh, Brian Thomas Jr. had this surgery to clean up this injury that he sustained in training camp. There are actual implications here for other players.

12:29Mike Wright:Parker Washington was getting too much work with both guys on the field. Yes, he was. And so Parker Washington, I will tell you, I just signed him and I'm putting him in my lineup. Who's going to replace Travis Hunter? That's my team where I was counting on him. I would play Alec Pierce over Parker Washington. I would play quite a few players. I mean, you'll see our updated rankings on the website. But this sucks.

12:52Andy Holloway:Yeah. Cam Scadaboo and Travis Hunter, two of the best rookies of the entire year with a lot of promise. It's like both kind of, you know, getting better every week.

13:03Mike Wright:And they're gone.

13:04Andy Holloway:Yeah.

13:05Mike Wright:Why can't we have cool things? You know what, Jay? Can I get out some frustration? Yeah. You get it.

13:10Jason Moore:Yeah.

13:11Mike Wright:Thank you. Thank you.

13:13Andy Holloway:There are tiny fragments shooting for my eyeballs every single time we do this.

13:18Jason Moore:The Ducers will be here for 10 hours. You got nine lives, Mike. That's true. You'll be fine.

13:24Andy Holloway:Yeah, lives, not eyes.

13:26Jason Moore:Two eyes.

13:27Andy Holloway:Is it not nine eyes?

13:28Mike Wright:All right, Joe Flacco returned to a limited practice.

13:31Andy Holloway:We did have a quote from him. Oh, yeah? So Flacco said he stopped short of saying he's definitely going to play on Sunday but did say he's feeling good. He wanted to throw to see how it reacted, and he left with a positive reaction.

13:44Mike Wright:Did you see his other quote that I found quite entertaining? Maybe.

13:48Andy Holloway:Flacco quotes are usually great. It was about a week ago. Because this dude does not care anymore.

13:53Jason Moore:He's old enough now. He's full de-gaffed. Yes, he is. Whatever he wants to say, he says. Yes.

13:58Mike Wright:This is the one where he said he used to, when he was a younger player, he'd be in different cities when he travels. And he'd go to bars and he'd see some dude sitting alone, like at a booth or at the bar. And he would think, oh my gosh, I feel so bad for that guy. He must be lonely. He's sad. He felt pity for him. Oh man, I know where this is going. And then he goes, now at my age, he goes, I realized that guy was in heaven.

14:21Andy Holloway:Yes! Yes! Joe! Joe is one of us. One of us. 100%.

14:27Jason Moore:there's nothing better i mean if oh really thursday night monday night joe in the movie theater by go down to a restaurant sit at the bar by yourself by mice you know who i gotta talk to

14:38Mike Wright:nobody maybe the bartender oh yeah yeah it's great we have updates uh deandre swift still not practicing on thursday with the groin injury luther burden did not practice with the concussion if Swift is out Monongah becomes I mean the way they're running the football and the matchup very interesting Calvin Ridley still sideline Chigakonko not available I guess you could try to see if you could catch fire with Gunner with DK that's what I was going to say Chimray Chimray

15:13Andy Holloway:or Io Manor it would be Io Manor you're going to have to like banking on garbage time feels like you're like oh that's an it's not it's not a good strategy no but dk in the slot with the

15:27Mike Wright:new coach has been good that's all he has produced such a small sample and you're still relying on what else do we got drake london michael pennix both limited on thursday did you have something

15:40Andy Holloway:else mike no i thought we were moving to the next piece of news patriots running back romandre

15:45Mike Wright:Stevenson did not practice again on Thursday. You're celebrating injury here on the show.

15:51Andy Holloway:Nope. I'm celebrating opportunity. Yesterday, this is what we got into exchange, and this is what I said. I want to see it. And the matchup with the Falcons, they are literally a who knows.

16:05Mike Wright:Isn't it sad to know that you might not see it still?

16:07Andy Holloway:Oh, yeah. There are many things that could happen. I'm rooting for him. Take advantage right now, Travion. It is full on. I'm so excited. Please don't fumble. I'm so excited. I'm so scared. Yeah. Because it lines up. This should be the opportunity for Travion Henderson to go prove why he was drafted early second round, to prove his status as an elite prospect at the running back position. Will it happen? I mean, you have to be.

16:36Jason Moore:We were talking about this off air yesterday. You are so scared. Yes. Because the opportunity that you have been waiting for is probably here. Third straight day, no practice for Ramondre. So let's just assume, and this could obviously change. Tune into Sunday Live. But let's assume Ramondre doesn't play.

16:56Andy Holloway:Hopefully his makeup is off by Sunday.

16:59Jason Moore:Doubtful. The opportunity for Travion Henderson to be the guy appears.

17:06Mike Wright:To get your 15 opportunities. Yes.

17:08Jason Moore:Fully here. and so if this Sunday Ramondre doesn't play and Travion gets seven carries and a target I don't know how you come to work ever again

17:21Andy Holloway:I will come to work but I will I'll let it go I'll let it go for the year I will stop being the

17:30Mike Wright:we're all rooting for not that

17:33Jason Moore:legitimately though as of this moment I assume Ramondre is not going to play Where is Travion in your start, sit? Are you happy to start him?

17:44Andy Holloway:Yes.

17:44Jason Moore:I feel that way, too. I feel like I'm... You have to. We are so negative towards his situation and what we've been seeing, but in other situations, like when an injury happens ahead of a running back... It's like Kamani Vidal.

17:58Mike Wright:You're like, yeah, I got to play him. He's going to get all the work. What about, let's say, Bam Knight, start of the week, Mike, against Dallas, and then you have the situation with Monongah. If you put those two in the, let's say Swift doesn't play either, and you've got Monongah, Henderson, Bam Knight, how do you order those?

18:14Andy Holloway:Man. I know that's a tough one. It is. I mean, it might be Monongah. He's playing the Cincinnati Bengals. I expect the Bears to be able to put points up pretty easily. I mean, the truth is. I got one for you. I'd probably play them over. The truth is, if I had all three of those guys somehow on one team, just where I am with Henderson for what I believe and need, Henderson would play. It's probably – it may not be the right process for everyone, but this is what we say of we're trying to give you information to make the best decision you can make for your team. That would be the best decision for my team because I would need it.

18:54Andy Holloway:If Henderson had this one shot and went nuclear on Sunday –

18:59Jason Moore:You're saying you'd need it emotionally. Yes.

19:00Andy Holloway:Yeah, whatever comes out of it, nuclear, awesome. Terrible. I deserve it. And then I will move on accordingly.

19:09Mike Wright:Well, and it's one of those things where the way you've been pining for this game, getting it on the bench would really suck.

19:16Andy Holloway:That's what I mean. I would have no choice but to play him.

19:19Mike Wright:Ricky Pearsall looks like he's getting closer to a return, according to Jennifer Lee Chan. Please, man.

19:24Jason Moore:We heard someone was saying they expect a Week 10 return. So that's not this week. Yeah. It's next week. It seems like they need him. I would assume by week 10, Brock Purdy will be back as well. To me, I made a trade offer in our league for Pearsall. I'd try and go get him. And I think this is definitely a good second-half sleeper.

19:44Mike Wright:I sure hope he gets back and doesn't Terry McLaurin. Sure. Yeah, that's a risk. I'm terrified about it because they've come out and talked about it. Nico Collins returned to a full practice. So is Christian Kirk. so maybe our little we had a couple moments of Higgins and Noel and Hutchinson Josh Downs full practice on Thursday seems like he'll be back Brock Bowers, Jacoby Myers full participants Puka Nakua upgraded to full I had so many leagues I had to go and pull him off of the IR it was a delight in each one because I had almost gotten to the point where I was just I was working without him week to week and it wasn't going as well and now I get to put him back in Pacheco not practicing with the MCL Jaden Daniels full participant he'll be back but no McLaurin Cooper Cup injury report if you want to throw Torrey Horton into your backup option situation hamstring injury for Cup Horton has flashed at times and Kyler Murray Limited I there's all this rumor right now around Arizona because they pushed back the scheduled press conference for the Cardinals quarterback to speak and so a lot of people think that maybe that means jacoby brissette has been named well there was a

20:58Jason Moore:practice where non-injury related starter yeah well non-injury related i don't know canon's talking the open portion of practice um i believe it was yesterday the open portion that was available for media to watch the the the main starters marv michael wells these guys were we're playing with Brissette and so there is a legitimate question right now as to who the Arizona Cardinals starting quarterback is I it's not a guarantee I thought I saw Gannon saying that everything was there preparing for it to be Kyle he said yeah in answer to if like is Kyler early in the week yeah he said yeah that was his answer yeah and Marv says he doesn't know who the starter

21:40Mike Wright:is that he's being coy. I think we'll see. We'll see. They have an out. If they want to take another week with Kyler Murray on the bench due to the foot sprain, they can do it. They're not going to necessarily have that opportunity without demoting him later. That was today's news and notes sponsored by Progressive Insurance. Quote today at progressive.com. 24:26Mike Wright:I got to be careful when I say take a break. because you might break something. Whoa!

24:30Jason Moore:Yeah!

24:31Mike Wright:And he did. Oh, boy. All right. Okay, I heard that. ASMR fans unite. Is that what the ASMRs? They're into tongue wags? Oh, yeah, tongue wags. Woo!

24:46Andy Holloway:I don't. Oh, Lord, that is.

24:50Mike Wright:I'm apologizing. We're going to have to mark this one as mature. Oh, my gosh. On the App Store. yeah I mean but one question I wanted to ask real quick before we get into the forecast following up on the Kyler discussion who do you actually want to be the quarterback for Marvin Trey McBride are you saying I mean it's definitely it's without a doubt it's Brissette

25:11Jason Moore:I mean it's Dallas this week for fantasy football yeah if you have those other guys Brissette has been so much better we've talked about the touchdown opportunities over the last like 21 games with Kyler or the last two and a half games with Brissette. McBride is way better. The passing yards, I assume, will be better. Now, who has more fantasy points between Brissette and Kyler? It should be Kyler because of the rushing upside. But even still, it might not be. Against Dallas, I especially think that the way Dallas' defense is inept. Their methodology of being so bad. fits someone in the pocket.

25:53Andy Holloway:They roll with the defensive strategy of bend, then break. Bend and break.

26:00Mike Wright:Bend and break. Oh, don't say break. The only thing.

26:02Jason Moore:Oh, yeah. Yeah. The only. I'm running out of bottles. That's good. Bottles and brain cells. That seems good. Running out. Yeah. The only thing that could make the Dallas Cowboys defense look good is Kyler.

26:19Mike Wright:yeah we it's depressing to find a way that's getting to the forecast

26:27Jason Moore:fantasy forecast presented by prize picks

26:34Mike Wright:yesterday we covered the bears bangles vikings lions panthers packers chargers titans falcons Patriots 49ers Giants having another snack they can't see it because you're doing it behind

26:48Andy Holloway:the microphone I was trying to hide I don't want people to see you this is your shameful third crayon snack in one show

26:57Mike Wright:wow you ate that like a dinosaur the Indianapolis Colts at 7 and 1 my team taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers who are 4 and 3 is it tough one for Pittsburgh Vegas line Indianapolis minus 3 why is it tough because the Colts score all the time and the Steelers love letting you score. Over under 50 and a half points.

27:19Andy Holloway:I didn't know. I'm happy to see it's at 50, 50 and a half because this is a sneaky shootout game that I am pretty interested in for all players.

27:30Mike Wright:Well, it's one of those. The fact it's in Pittsburgh makes it feel a little bit. I just heard you move your chair. This is a crunch. You crunch so much glass.

27:44Jason Moore:Matt, we got to take a picture of just the floor for socials later. This is insane what has happened here.

27:50Mike Wright:It's due to the breaking of the bottles. That's what it's, I think that's what it is. Yeah. I think it was you breaking like five bottles in your head.

27:57Jason Moore:I think that's what it was. I think if you think it's only five, you can't count.

28:00Mike Wright:No, it was more than that. I forget you went three in a row. All right, the Colts, Steelers, you like the chance of a little shootout action?

28:06Andy Holloway:I mean, this game's, did you cut yourself on the glass? I think I just did. Don't worry about it. Okay, this game is very fun. Daniel Jones is my star of the week, top six in eight weeks. Jonathan Taylor, of course. Michael Pittman is Jason's star of the week. Alec Pierce, like the DFS boys, he's one of their favorite DFS plays of the week. I think he is. I mean, I hesitate to even call him nasty, even though I hit the drop. I think Alec Pierce is a very fine play. What's a step up from nasty? who which is it's just not filthy is what's worse nasty no filthy is worse worse nasty okay you'd rather have a nasty thing than a filthy thing it's just a little uh unclean i don't know nasty

28:50Mike Wright:nasty is a different category than filthy this is just a dirty boy oh dirty he's just dirty boy

28:55Jason Moore:he's a dirty boy boy alec pierce don't do the tongue thing okay all right but he's in and

29:04Andy Holloway:honestly if you are in a 14 team league josh downs is in play too um yeah the fact he's practicing

29:13Mike Wright:in full um you you summed it up i mean tyler warren keep playing him he's been great this game's awesome 78 of his points have been in the first half which is wild that's the highest in the nfl they just they get going and then they they go on autopilot and they go to running they run a

29:29Jason Moore:lot so far what's happened with the colts and this is obviously no guarantee that it continues but i do think the matchup specifically with Pittsburgh means like I expect the Colts to put up a lot of points and win the game with how they've been playing but their defense has been really good against running backs and it's not because they shut down the running game or you can't run on them it's because they're up yeah you can't the other team has to abandon the run so that's where it's like is Jalen Warren Jalen Warren's gonna be in line up for sure because he'll be a pass

29:57Andy Holloway:catching back he'll get he'll probably get six plus targets in this matchup but yeah I mean this

30:01Jason Moore:this is definitely a game where I want most of the pieces but on the Pittsburgh side they're just the pieces are DK and Warren I'm not going to like Roman Wilson that's good but what is your

30:13Andy Holloway:what's your level of optimism here like this was I am super pessimistic I am very hopeful I love

30:20Mike Wright:it's the first time I mean yes his snap counts didn't go up the production went up he's four for 74 and a touchdown but this was the first literally the first time his entire career of any relevance of any kind. I'm really

30:31Jason Moore:surprised that he has had as much opportunity as he has had and not been good. It's only his seventh game. Is that right?

30:40Mike Wright:Or eight. No, seven total games. This year. Wait. That was his seventh game this year. You're right. So one last year. So I'm just saying, the point being, he's still new. I really loved him as a prospect. This is the second time ever he's been over 40 % stats.

30:56Jason Moore:I will keep my eyes on him for sure, and if there's a perfect matchup, this is it. If you're going to be in a game script where you've got to throw the ball, but I can't imagine starting him. Okay.

31:07Mike Wright:Denver at 6-2, taking on the Houston Texans, who are 3-4. Houston, once again, home favorites. One-and-a-half point favorites at home. Over-under is just 39-and-a-half. The defenses. The defenses are really good. You know, if you look at the Texans' defense at this point, which you're like, ah, Vegas knew something. Well, they knew this. They knew this defense, number one against quarterbacks, number one against wide receivers, top ten against running backs and tight ends. They've shut them down. It doesn't matter if it's fancy points allowed, schedule adjusted. Arguably, they're one of the best defenses in football, top three.

31:42Jason Moore:Yeah, and unfortunately, one of the other best defenses in football are going to be on the other side of the field.

31:47Mike Wright:It does throw a little bit of like, I never want to overemphasize matchup and underemphasize talent. I think that can be one of the mistakes we fall into here because we're staring at data all day long, and we stare at the stream finder, and we go and give you starts of the week, and a lot of times matchups play a big role. I have the talent of Bo Nix, but then I have the matchup problem of a team giving up under 10 points to fantasy quarterbacks who looked incredibly good at home last week, who I imagine will limit the upside of Bo Nix at a minimum. him and Bo Nix is like one of those like do you go Kyler Murray if he's starting or do you go Bo Nix because the matchup for Kyler is so the opposite of this yeah I so I agree with what

32:31Jason Moore:you're saying we cannot throw talent out but what we have seen from Bo Nix is some inconsistency he has not been so talented that he overcomes all situations we've talked about how he has just shown up like the Broncos offense didn't arrive at the stadium. And so in a tough matchup on the road, certainly you can start him. If I had another good option, like if Kyler was active, I would start Kyler over at Bo Nix.

32:59Mike Wright:I have those two guys in our chopped league to try to survive this week. Okay. So as of this moment, who are you starting? Right now, Bo Nix is in because I don't know if Kyler's playing. But if Kyler is playing, who will you start? I will probably play Kyler.

33:08Andy Holloway:League of Records.

33:09Mike Wright:I also have Marvin Harrison stacked. That helps a lot in chopped leagues if you can hit.

33:13Andy Holloway:League of Record right now, I'm carrying two quarterbacks. I have Bo Nix and I have Joe Flacco. And that piece of news that I read, what's the chuckles?

33:23Mike Wright:I just, sometimes I notice. Is there something with my face? Yeah, yeah, there's a bunch of makeup. You're a cat right now. And there's something about your face and your wig. I do look like a cat. You look ridiculous.

33:36Jason Moore:You are the Albert Einstein of cats.

33:38Mike Wright:You were just looking, you were saying something very poignant. I got Bo Nix.

33:43Andy Holloway:I got Joe Flacco. Today's piece of news from Joe Flacco made me very happy. You'd play Flacco. Because if we get to Sunday and he's playing, I think I'm going to take the risk and go with Joe Flacco. I have the Bo Nix-Cortland-Sutton stack. And Sutton is likely going to be on the bench for me as I put both Jalen Warren and DK Metcalf, a full exposure to the Steelers. instead of it the matchup is just this game this game could be 10 to 7 and just be the stinkiest

34:17Jason Moore:of garbage for fantasy football yeah i don't concern i i i definitely i like does the winner of this game score 20 points right i doubt it yeah it's it's looking that way to get real lucky

34:28Mike Wright:yeah the overrunners 39 and a half the upside is just capped for those so if you're dependent on some upside i don't think you're getting it from bonex i don't think you're getting it from sutton And I think you've got to be really – like I've got a league I'm going to get backed into playing R.J. Harvey. Wow. Because of Ramondre's injury. I don't think most people are going to be in that situation,

34:51Jason Moore:and I think you should be chopped.

34:52Mike Wright:I think a lot of people want to chase a week where he's the number six overall running back. I think people, when you have that in your lineup and you score three times, I think a lot of people want to try to do that.

35:02Jason Moore:I would really recommend to anybody who wants to chase it to not chase it. His snaps didn't go up. his utilization didn't go up the defense was terrible personally in this game that we just talked about with Bo Nix and Corlin Sutton these great options that were like benching them in in certain situations don't chase RJ Harvey this week if he goes off great I but I think that would be a mistake I would rather start Nick Chubb than RJ Harvey I would go Harvey Woody Marks popped up with a calf injury this was a new injury that just came up there is a the potential that Nick Chubb is alone here um i'll get a goomba wallade but yeah well sure but he's still been getting enough

35:43Andy Holloway:work nick job versus this defense even alone with 17 opportunities i'll i would rather bet on a one explosive play from harvey as opposed to i think it's i think it's a fair question honestly

35:57Jason Moore:yeah i mean i i would just say give me juice right now the texans are at home they are favored in the game. They are also, where you beat the Broncos is more on the ground than through the air. So if you are up and you're running the ball out and you're going to win the game, that running game should be better than bad. Yeah.

36:21Andy Holloway:Nick Chubb has a season high of 60 yards on the ground. No, I'm sorry. 61.

36:29Mike Wright:Well, you're banking on a touchdown opportunity. Nico Collins will be back. Christian Kirk will be back. Dalton Schultz has not been practicing. Probably overused in the recent weeks. It's all that running. And then Troy Franklin, he seems like the mirage in the desert. Once you stare directly at him, he disappears. I like him on my roster,

36:49Andy Holloway:but I'm not playing him this week. Correct.

36:50Jason Moore:Number one team against wide receivers

36:52Andy Holloway:is the Texans. So let's go Pat Bryant.

36:54Mike Wright:Boy, there are a lot of players that you would just want to chase in Denver. Franklin, Harvey.

37:00Jason Moore:you always want to play those guys the week after they play Dallas yeah that is just don't let that

37:06Mike Wright:ruin you Jacksonville four and three the Raiders two and five the Vegas line Jacksonville minus two and a half on the road over under 44 and a half both teams coming off the bye both teams have quarterbacks that need to wake up Geno Smith has the lowest passer rating on 10 plus yard throws of any quarterback in five years. That's how bad he's been down the field. He will get Brock Bowers back in this game. That is a very, very good thing for the Raiders, for fantasy players, and for Geno Smith. Is it a good thing for most lineups? I think so. I think Brock Bowers has got to be in. He's Jason's start of the week.

37:47Mike Wright:But I'm not sure beyond Bowers and Jinty.

37:50Andy Holloway:We were talking about Bowers yesterday or the day before. The most popular question right now on our start-sit tool is Gadsden. Gadston? Gadston. Gadston or Bowers. I kind of leant toward Gadston when we were talking about it, but I'm back to Bowers. Bowers in one healthy game was dominant. We haven't seen him healthy at all. And I know Geno Smith is stinky doo-doo garbage right now. It's now the second most popular question.

38:17Mike Wright:Do you want to know the most popular question? Yes, please. Kareem Hunt, Bam Knight. Oh, man. That's good.

38:22Andy Holloway:That's a good question. That's good.

38:24Mike Wright:Let me just check our start situ and see where we slotted in. We have Kareem Hunt projected for 11.9 points and Bam Knight projected for 11.4 points. They are back to back for me. Back to back, yeah. Oh, man. They're both playing in games with 50 plus over unders. Mm-hmm.

38:42Andy Holloway:The, you know. I think I'd go. They're both on the road. I think I actually might go Kareem.

38:48Jason Moore:Yeah, I don't blame you. I see why it's the number one question because the answer is so difficult. I lean towards Bam Knight, but do the Cardinals score more or the Chiefs? The Chiefs score more, for sure, even against Dallas that the Cardinals are playing. So you can really take it either direction.

39:07Andy Holloway:Anyways, Jags Raiders.

39:09Mike Wright:Jags Raiders, yeah. Play Gentry. Yeah, it's Gentry Bowers checkout. And if you want to think about Gentry right now, only Jonathan Taylor and McCaffrey have forced more missed tackles than him. He's been most. He's great. He's been the most up against it from an offensive line and offense standpoint, but Bowers will help him. If they can move the offense, get them red zone opportunities, they've been throwing in the football. I just think you need this offense to not be the worst thing you've ever seen with Gino.

39:30Jason Moore:We have seen the difference that a passing game makes on a running game. When Flacco came to town and all of a sudden Chase Brown can run the ball through the tackles, it's like that happens. Bowers will help Gente a lot.

39:45Mike Wright:On the other side, your start of the week was Travis Etienne in due part with the Raiders matchup. They're 23rd against the run. Not a lot of baseball tooting out there lately. We talked through the implications of the Hunter injury. It completely changes things. Brian Thomas no longer, you know, under threat of losing a number one wide receiver spot. I do think Parker Washington would be the one to pivot to. If you're picking one, Diami Brown doesn't play as many snaps. Parker Washington, they had him out there with both these guys. 10 targets last week. Did he do anything with them? Yeah, he was 4 for 52.

40:22Mike Wright:But they gave him 3 rushing attempts as well. There were 7 touches by Parker Washington in a game where Hunter and BTJ were there.

40:30Jason Moore:There are some guys where I genuinely think the team would be better off if they cut him. They should cut Parker Washington. Parker Washington's a fine football player. He's not a bad player. He's a fine football player. He is a negative player. It's just like how there are certain plays that are less efficient. Would you say that about Malik Washington? Yes. No, because he is. Because Parker Washington is better than Malik Washington. Malik Washington has explosive individual skill where he could break a play. I don't think that would be the same.

41:02Mike Wright:Well, I think Parker Washington has a non-zero chance of making everybody who starts BTJ this week roll their eyes into the back of their head because he gets more targets and catches.

41:11Andy Holloway:Parker already has two double-digit target games. that have not turned into anything. No, I know. But he's got targets.

41:18Mike Wright:That's his point.

41:20Andy Holloway:It's a negative play for the Jags.

41:22Mike Wright:Yeah, that game we don't have to.

41:24Andy Holloway:It's also Trevor Lawrence. Every time Trevor Lawrence throws the ball, it's a negative play for the Jags. That's also true. Or if Etienne runs the ball. The best he can, brother.

41:32Mike Wright:Yeah, he is. This is two bad quarterbacks. Don't, yeah.

41:37Jason Moore:This game is actually really, really easy. I don't think you want either quarterback. You want both running backs, Etienne and Gentry. And you want Brian Thomas Jr. and you want Brock Bowers. That's it.

41:48Mike Wright:Well, what about this one? The Saints are 1-7. They're switching it over to Tyler Shuck, who gets to go to L.A. and play the Rams defense. You're the old rookie, huh? I am thrilled to play the Rams defense in this game against Al Borland in the water bowl.

42:04Jason Moore:As you should be. I forgot.

42:06Mike Wright:Are you excited about that, Al? Tyler Shuck?

42:09Jason Moore:I forgot about the combine video of Tyler Shuck. Oh, the one throw? Oh, man. It is one single throw. That's all it is.

42:21Andy Holloway:It was a first-round pick, right? Second. Oh, second-round pick. It's the worst throw you've ever seen.

42:26Jason Moore:Ever. And that's including the Disney films with quarterbacks who have never thrown a football in their life.

42:31Andy Holloway:It looks like the – are you familiar with the 50-cent first pitch? Yes. Yes. That's what that throw looked like at the combine. No pads, no pressure.

42:41Mike Wright:That's why he dropped all the way to number 40 overall.

42:43Andy Holloway:the one throw from the combine Zach Wilson does not make you a good or bad quarterback

42:49Mike Wright:no it doesn't 1-7 5-2 Rams favored by two touchdowns

42:56Andy Holloway:yeah that makes sense

42:57Mike Wright:over-under is 43.5 that puts the Saints under 15 total points also makes sense it makes a lot of sense I mean if you were looking at Tyler Shuck with one and a half interceptions what are you taking I would take the over maybe Maybe. The defense for the Rams has... They might protect him. They've taken advantage of these situations. Matthew Stafford... I don't think they can.

43:20Jason Moore:I think they might have a game plan to try to protect him. Oh, he did. I forgot he had a pick last week. They will have... In limited work. In half a game. Well, when he came in, he had to throw it every single play because they were down so much. Wow. This game, they're going to start the game trying to protect him. But when the Rams get up by two scores, you're just going to have to throw the ball a ton.

43:41Mike Wright:well the start sit decisions on that side of the ball are the uh they're the uglier ones i mean alvin kamara been limited in practice he's averaging 11 percent target share the lowest of his career could change with shuck we don't know it could and they will probably have to

43:55Jason Moore:throw the ball 30 plus times again he is someone that needs to be the name needs to be deleted you need to stop looking at him as pro bowl superstar alvin kamara and look at him as he's currently the running back 30 on the year he hasn't had a bye week he's been playing all look at him as the pro bowl running back ride running back 30 yeah just look at his actual production you got to make start sit decisions if you've got kareem hunt or bam knight yeah i knew you were

44:23Andy Holloway:gonna say over yeah over come on the only guy i'm starting for the saints with olave is olave and it's not a full confidence play, I would be stashing Devin Neal in certain situations just in case.

44:39Jason Moore:Aren't you contractually obligated to say Jawan Johnson? You'd start him as well?

44:45Andy Holloway:I'm in breach. Please don't. I'm in breach of contract right now. I can't, not with Shuck until I know for sure that Jawan's going to get eight targets. Makes sense. The Rams are so easy.

44:58Mike Wright:I mean, Kyron, Puka, and Devontae Adams are in your lineup. And then you can start Stafford this week. Yeah, you can. This is Stafford's. He's been throwing it around the goal line.

45:09Jason Moore:We've talked to the last couple years where it's like Kyron siphons away Stafford's touchdowns. Kyron is on pace for four rushing touchdowns on the season. It's been the Devontae Adams show around the goal line, and it's working.

45:22Andy Holloway:Matthew Stafford or Jackson Dart against San Francisco. Stafford. Matthew Stafford or Jared Goff against Minnesota man I I don't even want to they're back-to-back

45:34Jason Moore:I really think Goff might go off this week okay and we'll go the last one Stafford or Rogers

45:44Andy Holloway:and with the potential shootout I'd go Stafford all right we'll take a break and come back with

45:49Mike Wright:a very exciting game with an over-under of 52.5.

45:56Mike Wright:All right, Foot Clan, whether you are on the go or at home, T-Mobile, well, they're built to keep you connected wherever you're scouting your fantasy team. And that on-the-go part, that is important. With America's Best Network, you'll be connected to the latest news and player projections so when you're on the clock, you can draft a winning team. I can think of so many situations where that element of being connected while you're on go is fundamental to fantasy football success. I'm in the midst of multiple leagues right now where I am responding to trade offers. We are massaging the trade offer.

46:27Mike Wright:We want to make sure that I'm the one that gets the player, not another player manager in our league. So trade offers, when you're on the go, all the news that's breaking so you don't make a mistake. And my favorite thing, maybe I'll mention it. Look, you're sitting and you have a quiet moment somewhere out and about. You want to jump in the UDK. We got the player profiles. You can watch all of those in there with T-Mobile. You can jump in on the player projections and our stat projections and all the 130 ,000 words of content. Again, T-Mobile making that easy to do. Every bit of news, things are changing all the time, new player contracts, all that good stuff.

47:01Mike Wright:So from off season to game day, every play is better with T-Mobile. What you got to do is visit T-Mobile.com slash network. 47:57Mike Wright:You getting thirsty there, Jay?

47:59Jason Moore:Yeah, the crayons, they... They take it out of you? They are dehydrating. That's probably because of all the wax. Could I have a crayon? Yeah, you want a crayon? Yeah, pick a color.

48:08Andy Holloway:Pick a color. You want orange? That is not becoming of an archaeologist slash quarterback. When you're on the road, searching for a -

48:18Jason Moore:How is it? Give me a crayon. Oh, look, I got you a Jets green. Okay. They're pretty good. Yeah.

48:25Mike Wright:I kind of get it.

48:26Jason Moore:Oh, they're crunchy.

48:27Mike Wright:Yeah, these are good. Crayons are delicious.

48:29Jason Moore:Crayons are delicious. Remember, kids, eat crayons. Superpower.

48:33Mike Wright:Mm-hmm. Are they tasted like this forever? Yeah, crayons have always been this good. Trust me. Yeah, eat crayons.

48:41Andy Holloway:I've been missing out.

48:42Mike Wright:Yeah. That's delicious. Do we have to clarify the crayons? Right. Because somebody thought they were cranberries. Because that's their nickname for cranberries was crayons. Did you hear this, Al?

48:53Andy Holloway:No.

48:54Mike Wright:Yesterday on the podcast, they're like, when you're saying you're eating crayons, are you saying crayons? Are you saying cranberries?

49:01Andy Holloway:Crayons short for cranberries.

49:03Mike Wright:No, we're not talking about bog water fruit.

49:04Andy Holloway:No one has ever called them crayons. Boggy marsh butt fruit.

49:08Mike Wright:You need a smelling salt? Are you okay? Oh, I could use a smell of salt. Oh, my God. Incoming.

49:12Andy Holloway:Woo! Oh, no. Woo! Go to his camera.

49:15Mike Wright:All right. Oh, there it goes. Oh, he's still recovering. Woo! Woo! Oh,

49:27Mike Wright:you got one bottle left if you made it. Woo!

49:35Jason Moore:All right.

49:36Mike Wright:Okay. All right. We did it.

49:39Jason Moore:Oh! Okay. I'm not going to lie. My head has a lot of, you're very red, hurt spots.

49:45Mike Wright:Oh, because of the glass. Yeah. Well, you're doing good. Yeah. Eating crayons, smelling salts, brick walls. This show needs to eat. Bottles. Immediately. So I go to the hospital. Kansas City, five and three. Buffalo, five and two. This is a fun one. In Buffalo, Vegas line, Kansas City, minus one and a half. The over-under is 52 and a half. They have combined.

50:07Jason Moore:I am sitting on so much glass.

50:08Mike Wright:Are you? You've got a lot of glass under the butt. Oh, nice. It's like a Shrek joke. It's in your shoe? It's everywhere, man. All right. Well, the over-under is a wonderful 52 and a half. This is round 10 between Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen. We've had the under three times. We've had the over six times. But only one of their regular season matchups hit that 53-point mark.

50:36Andy Holloway:Oh, my goodness. So regular season, Josh Allen's 4-1. Yeah. And in the playoffs, Mahomes is 4-0.

50:43Mike Wright:Yeah, Mahomes lets you have this one. Oh, man. I actually like Buffalo in this game. The line isn't close enough to garner an almost upset button click, but I like Buffalo. Their defense last week, they played tough, and that's what they do. They bounce back as a defense. I like the home team in this one.

51:04Jason Moore:Yeah, the fact that they're home makes a huge advantage for them, but the way the Chiefs have been playing, if this was a power rankings exercise, the Chiefs would be number one. They are playing the best football in the NFL right now. Their offense looks great. Their defense looks great. Did you guys see Steve Smith talking about Keon Coleman?

51:25Andy Holloway:Yeah. It's not normally a good –

51:28Jason Moore:Body bag.

51:29Mike Wright:It's not a good sign because he wants body bag Jerry Judy.

51:33Andy Holloway:who and he was correct and he was right yeah yeah and the quote for those who have not seen it which it fits in perfectly with our show the quote he ain't he ain't the guy can't get separation can't get off the jam doesn't have it here it is you can't teach a dog how to bark he's literally saying you're a cat is a kitty cat yeah no dog yep yep that is uh coleman this is Hey, this is your week. If you're going to try and prove Steve Smith wrong, do it on the big stage against the Chiefs.

52:06Mike Wright:Oh, boy. Lots of fantasy. I don't think he will be wrong.

52:09Jason Moore:Anybody starting Keon Coleman in fantasy? I don't know. It's so funny because this is a – I can't remember a game where you're talking about a 53-point over-under and you don't want a wide receiver on the team.

52:22Mike Wright:Yeah. Not for that team. Yeah. You want him on the other side. Oh, for sure. One of them. Rashi Rice, you play him. You play James Cook coming off of a 216-yard game who just continuously delivers big plays. We're giving away a signed James Cook jersey right now, by the way.

52:39Jason Moore:How do I enter for free?

52:41Mike Wright:Eat a crayon, and then you go to FootClanGiveaway.com. I have so many entries. Don't tell me a good time. Play Josh Allen, of course, and then Dalton Kincaid. I think you could take a shot with the high over-under. Sure. On the other side, you like Rice, you like Kelsey, see like kareem hunt this week with pacheco uh likely on the shelf what about brashad smith i it's a fine desperation i was pretty bummed last week well we were excited and then kareem hunt showed up and stole our milk money but but i mean kareem hunt was also active the week before where brashad smith saw a lot of opportunity but that was the week that but kareem got hurt in that game i i'm aware i'm aware i'm just i think the volatility is a risk and i think if you're in a Yeah, that's why he's desperate.

53:23Mike Wright:If you're in a hard – like, I'd play R.J. Harvey over Rashad Smith. If you're in a desperate situation, like, I –

53:30Jason Moore:I would take the 53-point over-under versus the 39-point over-under for backups both playing.

53:36Mike Wright:I mean, it's fair, but I just –

53:37Andy Holloway:How about Smajai Pirine against Chicago or Rashad Smith? I just feel like R.J.

53:43Mike Wright:Harvey's snaps are just bigger than both of these guys. Okay. Am I wrong to favor the talent in the snaps? because he's the better player and he's going to get more snaps. It's just the matchups we're talking about, and I think Smith scares me. I could see the – how many snaps does he get if they're losing this game? How many snaps if it's close? To me, it's Kareem Hunt is the dude in those situations.

54:04Jason Moore:I think Kareem Hunt will be the dude. It'll be 70-30. Obviously, you have the Bills winning this game. I picked the Chiefs personally. um but with pacheco out of the way i i think there will be enough work for smith in a game with a lot of opportunity for big plays for points scored for touchdowns um so brashad smith is he's a dart throw flyer in that category of all those other guys but kelsey's the tight end six yeah and he had a great uh your doubts and he spat upon them with six for 99 and a touchdown he sure did I have 100 % not accepted an L yet. On the week, yes. I don't think it's going to.

54:53Jason Moore:We'll see how it goes this week. I actually like what I'm seeing. Yeah, I mean, I will say the eye test has been okay.

54:58Mike Wright:The better direction is not you expected big things from Travis Kelsey and then you saw regression. The better situation is when you expect nothing and you realize you still got it.

55:08Jason Moore:Well, this will be a great test. This week, the Bills are number one against tight ends. So if he goes out there and puts it on him the way he did last week, it'll be really telling.

55:19Mike Wright:We think Xavier Worthy's unhealthy.

55:21Jason Moore:Yes. I definitely think his shoulder is still bugging him. Still not convinced he's great.

55:29Mike Wright:Seattle, Washington, Sunday night football. The Seahawks are 5-2. The Commanders 3-5. Vegas line, Seattle minus 3. The over-under is 47.5. Finally.

55:40Andy Holloway:Oh, is this it?

55:41Mike Wright:One that feels right.

55:46Jason Moore:and he's almost upset of the week

55:53Mike Wright:Seattle has been great they are coming off the bye they won five of six games they're three and oh on the road Washington has lost three straight Jaden Daniels has been gone for two of those but um I like them to bounce back at home in this one it's a three-point gap there over under 47 and a half dan quinn playing against his former team he was the dc there in 2014 that's where he kind of uh got his opportunities um seattle with the super bowl year thoughts on this game though i mean jayden daniels without mclaurin coming back from injury how confident are you in jayden daniels this week at home in the start not super confident more confident than Bo Nix?

56:35Mike Wright:Yes. More confident than Kyler?

56:37Jason Moore:Yes. More confident than Dart? Yes. I am pretty confident on Daniels.

56:44Mike Wright:Yeah, Daniels, when he did come back, he had a quarterback six finish against the Bears. He got hurt in the game against Dallas. He was on his way. He had 17.5 fantasy points, but only played 69 % of the snaps. So that game would have been fine. He would have

57:00Andy Holloway:been really good don't hear what i'm not saying like i'm playing jayden daniels the the uh because of his upside every week i just the the with with the lack of of terry here i don't i don't think we're set up for on that top tier elite game from jayden like i'd be really if he hit 20 i'd be so thrilled yeah i'm just a bill oh man man yeah it's an ordinary bill uh yeah the the run game

57:27Jason Moore:has not been working for the commanders when we talk about trade candidates for oh the patriots are looking at a run you know for a running back which is like what i look at the commanders i say you've got a good defense you've got a great quarterback you've got you like you should be going to try to win it all right now you have no running game bill is not it um and if they were to go out and get a Brees Hall or someone much better, a Rico Dowdle or a Chuba. They need a running back, and I would be so excited. I want to be excited about a running back here.

58:01Mike Wright:Yeah, I don't know their cap situation off the top of my head, but the fact that they don't have that – it's not like they have a bona fide, high-paid running back that got hurt that's coming back. They could be a place where Brees Hall would sign a deal. Yeah. If you bring him in, he could be a place that he stays for future years.

58:20Jason Moore:They're on a quarterback rookie contract, so they've got the money for it.

58:24Mike Wright:Yeah, and JCM's not getting paid anything. Who knows about Eckler? That would be one situation that would be interesting to me. This game in particular, it's hard to say to start any running back. You just don't know when they're going to try to mix it up. I think they'll stay with JCM in this game. That's what I think will happen. Do I think it'll be productive? No. Seattle's very good against the run. So he wasn't productive against bad run defenses. I think at some point, you know, if you want to say put Chris Rodriguez on a roster on the bench, they may make that choice. Or Jeremy McNichols.

58:57Mike Wright:I don't know which of those two you do. They seem to trust McNichols more. Certainly a passing situation. Yeah, he's not necessarily the guy that would become a replacement for a starting running back. He's going to stay in his role probably. You know, Debo, it's slowed way down since the injury. he started the year wide receiver 6, 22, 12 and 8 I like him again this week

59:18Jason Moore:I am happy with Debo this week I think Debo back healthy Jaden Daniels there no Terry McLaurin a decent over under Debo is going to be in most lineups just don't

59:31Mike Wright:just catch it and don't let it go off your helmet for an interception that's all I'm saying JSN if you had the question I saw this on Twitter this morning if you had to choose JSN or Puka for the rest of the season what's your choice?

59:44Jason Moore:jsn i think it's jsn i worry less about injury i also worry less about the competition with

59:50Andy Holloway:adams for touchdowns jsn's gonna get touchdowns puka for whatever reason they just they they

59:57Mike Wright:can't figure that part out yet if i came to you before the season mike and i said we're gonna go into week nine and uh i can see the future you can't at this point in time and i and i told you that Ken Walker's going to play every game, but he's going to have two top 24 performances for the season. What would your reaction have been?

1:00:17Andy Holloway:My reaction would be, oh, clearly he just keeps getting banged up the way he always has. But he's not missing games this time.

1:00:24Mike Wright:No, he's not missing any. You would still assume he's hurt? Yes. He's hurt in a different way. He's hurt in a snap count way.

1:00:32Jason Moore:And they keep winning. It's probably the most disheartening backfield in the league. I don't ever want to start either. For a team that is 5-2 winning ballgames, scoring points with rushing touchdowns and I'm like do I start? Charbs or Bill? Charbs. Charbs over Bill. Yeah, I mean this is

1:00:56Andy Holloway:It's probably Charbs over Walker. Yeah. Yeah, it is. It is. If they get around the goal line, they have

1:01:02Jason Moore:so far shown that they definitely prefer Charbs.

1:01:05Andy Holloway:I don't have the metrics in front of me, but it's not it's not me making it up or being hyperbolic. Charves is the most inefficient running back in football right now. They love that. And they're just like – They're like, dude. And it works for them, I guess. It's weird. They – yeah, I mean –

1:01:25Mike Wright:Maybe what they are looking for – Ken Walker is not efficient the last two starts, unfortunately, with lots of opportunities.

1:01:29Jason Moore:What if they're looking for ball control, and they realize that if you have a 50-yard rushing touchdown –

1:01:37Andy Holloway:You score too fast? You score too fast.

1:01:39Jason Moore:You need to keep your defense on the sideline, and Charbs is crushing it for that. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

1:01:46Mike Wright:I mean, this is crazy. I'm just looking at the last two games. When you say you don't want to start any one of them, Ken Walker at a sweet 3.7 a carry, and Charbs at a 3 a carry. Three points.

1:01:58Andy Holloway:Oh, man. Charbs is at 2.8 on the season. No, I know. I know. 3.7?

1:02:02Mike Wright:He gets all those one-yarders.

1:02:04Andy Holloway:Yeah, that is true. Well, yeah, it takes him multiple times to do it. Yeah. He averages.5 per touchdown run from the one-yard line. Here's the thing. I wish at this point that Charbonnet was just looking awesome and dominating. So I was like, I could just take my loss. It's exactly taking it. Move on and be like, that guy at Sharps was better than I expected. Walker's a little worse than I expected. but it it's not that it's new england yeah it's new england it's the more well-rounded true

1:02:42Mike Wright:does everything running back is getting the snaps versus the more efficient runner period tory horton we brought him up you could throw him on the back of your bench if you want to give it a shot you messing around with zach hurts anymore i see him on every waiver yeah yeah i would i would

1:02:57Jason Moore:play zach hurts like if you're the tight end whisperer yeah then i would play if i would play Ertz then. Yeah, I think Zach Ertz is a good play here. You look at recent history, fantasy points allowed, Seahawks give it up to tight ends. The same argument of no Terry McLaurin and Jaden Daniels back for Debo applies for Ertz. He's a good start. Like if I was in the Jawan Johnson tier, I would definitely shift over to Zach Ertz.

1:03:21Mike Wright:Are we ready for a Monday night party? The Cardinals 2-5, Monday night football in Dallas. Dallas 3-4 and 1. The over-under is 54 and a half rounds up to Dallas minus two and a half at home. Nice. That's a pretty small margin there for Dallas. No team in NFL history has ever scored and allowed more than 30 points per game in the same season. Oh, yet? Are the Cowboys doing that, Kyle? Is that where we're at?

1:03:53Jason Moore:Yes, right now they are.

1:03:54Mike Wright:Okay. I think Kyle said that in such a quiet voice because he's inside a Halloween match. Oh, I forgot.

1:04:00Jason Moore:He is inside of a Jamaican bobsled costume.

1:04:05Mike Wright:The Cowboys, they are gracious and kind to opposing passing and running games. They don't choose one over the other. This game should rule.

1:04:14Jason Moore:Yeah, but the Cardinals, they can say, we got you, Dallas.

1:04:18Mike Wright:Cardinals offices look great.

1:04:20Jason Moore:With Brissette.

1:04:21Mike Wright:The last two games with Jacoby Brissette. If only we could figure out what was different. Yeah, but I do have confidence that they will get it going. I mean, Kyler is my start of the week if he plays. It's the Dallas matchup. Bam Knight is my start of the week at running back. You will see maybe Michael Carter and DiMarcato worked in. Marvin Harrison Jr., people want to know, is he going to continue looking better? Who's the quarterback? Well, you know, to be fair, the two Jacoby Brissett games, he was awful.

1:04:49Andy Holloway:Awful. 32 and 58 yards.

1:04:52Jason Moore:I still think more capable of standing in the pocket.

1:04:55Andy Holloway:I forgot he got hurt in week six.

1:04:57Mike Wright:I officially want Kyler to play. That's my official answer. For the weapons? For everything. Cardinals and weapons. I want Kyler to play. He's the better quarterback. He just is. He is. Jacoby Brissett has done this 10 million times. We know that Jacoby... He's had a couple solid games for every team. Probably every team in the NFL has had two Jacoby starts.

1:05:16Jason Moore:We know that Jacoby Myers is not a great quarterback. He's not going to go out there... Well, he's a wide receiver for the Raiders. Jacoby Brissett is not a great quarterback. He's not going to go out there and really elevate everyone. He's not a former Super Bowl champ like a Joe Flacco that's going to come in and light the offense on fire.

1:05:34Mike Wright:He's Ryan Fitzpatrick in his later years. He can put some games together.

1:05:37Jason Moore:The current version of Kyler Murray is so bad and fearful. The play style of not being able to keep eyes down the field. As soon as any pressure comes, you're just laying down. You can't stand in the pocket and deliver deep throws. Now, maybe there's no pressure coming from the Cowboys, and if Kyler is in there, that's where he shines.

1:06:02Mike Wright:The two Kyler games before Brissett came on, Marv was the wide receiver 23-16. He has not been inside the top 14 for the entire year. We need targets. We need downfield opportunities, please. Tray McBride has been the biggest beneficiary of Jacoby Brissett. He was the tight end 2-3. He scored three times, and we know he's a dog. He ain't no meowsing.

1:06:26Andy Holloway:No, no, he is not. The Dallas side, I think, is quite easy. Dak is in. CeeDee Lamb is in. George Pickens is in. Javante is no problem. It's just Jake Ferguson. Do you go? Yeah. We had the goose. He's in. The Cardinals, over the last six weeks, are 27th against the position.

1:06:43Mike Wright:It was just a tough game against Denver. One target.

1:06:46Jason Moore:Need to just stay in and help him block. Ferguson should be definitely in. I mean, there's no one on the waiver, So you're picking up to play over Ferguson.

1:06:54Mike Wright:If you had Gadsden, though, would you play Gadsden or Fergie? Just to make it hard on you.

1:06:59Jason Moore:I mean, the NBA Jam rules are rules. So I think you've got to stay in the flames with Gadsden there. But like Ertz, for example, who I just said, you can pick him up and start. I would play Ferguson.

1:07:10Mike Wright:Some ominous quotes from some updates for you guys. An ominous quote from Ben Johnson, I think. He's talking about the groin injury for Swift. Says, it's been chronic for a while now. we're doing our due diligence to make sure we're given the best version of swift to help this team for him and his individual success we want to make sure we have him in a good spot for the whole season to me that at least says they're thinking about giving him a week off zach taylor on joe flacco status he says it would be silly for me to commit to that on a friday not silly we could you could just tell us yeah um and then we have uh or or be a little silly zach let's just be

1:07:44Andy Holloway:we don't allow it life would be a lot better if adults just allowed themselves to be silly

1:07:49Mike Wright:dressed up like a cat. Yeah. The other quote from Ben Johnson, sometimes you have to protect a player from himself. Okay. So it could be a little Mononga against Al Borland in our water match, which I'm sure you'd love to see.

1:08:01Andy Holloway:Bam Knight and Mononga. Yeah, baby. That's working out somehow.

1:08:05Mike Wright:Bryce Young removed from the injury report. He'll be back for the Panthers.

1:08:10Andy Holloway:Okay.

1:08:10Mike Wright:Oh, we still got to do this? Yeah, we do. Oh, boy.

1:08:17Jason Moore:fantasy face-off presented by prize picks

1:08:25Mike Wright:well uh mike had been really hating this segment because he had been spinning that wheel

1:08:30Andy Holloway:consistently he's now who looks stupid all of us i thought you're just gonna zoom in on mike's I was going to say, it's... Give me the camera. All of us. Yes.

1:08:43Mike Wright:I ended up at the bottom of the group last week, so I get to spin the wheel.

1:08:51Jason Moore:Wheel of

1:08:53Mike Wright:Shame.

1:08:57Mike Wright:I hope the wheel says Indiana Jones, because I got that one.

1:09:00Andy Holloway:That would be incredible. Spin it. It's not going to. Let's see. We got Iceman, MTV, Cringe, Rainy Day. Oh, we got the bad jeweler. Oh, nice. What is this? I don't even know, man. I found something fun for you.

1:09:20Mike Wright:Oh, you got the jeweler

1:09:22Jason Moore:glasses, the little magnifying glasses. You gotta line those up with your eyes so you're looking through that lens. That's part of the bit. You have to look through the lens. You're not allowed to look around them. Oh, man. That is weird. look up there it is there we go

1:09:42Andy Holloway:yes I was trying to find a way to make his eyes look humongous we nailed it everybody I can't wait to see alright

1:09:53Mike Wright:the teeth are coming out during my picks for the week we'll start at quarterback okay Tyler Shuck going dirty I'm taking a half interception. I'm taking. No, I thought about that. But his is set it like higher. I'm taking twenty nine point five yards for as long as completion. I'm going less.

1:10:16Andy Holloway:Yeah, that that makes sense. OK, mine is my Green Goblin this week. I set these on Wednesday. I got Aaron Rodgers more than one hundred and ninety nine and a half passing yards.

1:10:26Jason Moore:I'm going on Monday Night Football. Again, we just talked about Dak Prescott. I'm going six and a half rushing yards. I'm going to take more. He's coming off a game where he just had 31 seven the week before, 28 a couple weeks ago. So six and a half on Monday Night Football. More next. Breaking news. I'm never going back to the past. That's for opportunity, everyone.

1:10:51Andy Holloway:Not because the guys hurt. They just happen to be happening at the same time. Ramondre's out. Oh my goodness gracious. Here we go.

1:10:59Mike Wright:This is just you're getting set up for some pain. Maybe.

1:11:02Jason Moore:I said I'm excited and I'm scared. I can't wait for Monday. I can't wait for Monday. You're coming in here without pants or with pants on your head.

1:11:14Mike Wright:Just devastating or awesome. My running back projection for the week, Kamani Vidal, I'm taking more than 9.5 receiving yards. I think he gets all the work. He's hit that. I like that. I'm going to go Kamani Vidal against Tennessee, ending up with a catch or two.

1:11:33Jason Moore:All right, I'm going Tajay Spears, who has looked really impressive. I think Tony Pollard is losing.

1:11:39Mike Wright:How dirty are these teeth?

1:11:42Jason Moore:I was wearing them for a little while.

1:11:44Mike Wright:The Falcon was touching them. Oh, that's disgusting.

1:11:47Jason Moore:But I'm taking – so Tajay Spears, his projection is two-and-a-half receptions. I think he does more than that. He's been really involved in the passing game. So I'll take him to have more than two and a half.

1:11:58Andy Holloway:I'm going with, uh, I'm doing a piggyback here, taking Jason's start of the week, Travis ETN. His projections at 57 and a half rushing yards against Las Vegas. I'm taking the more nice.

1:12:11Mike Wright:Okay. I'm going to go with, uh, another fun one here. I'm going to take that high over under game, the Buffalo, Kansas city game. I'm going Xavier worthy more than 3.5 rushing yards.

1:12:26Jason Moore:Oh, So he just needs that carry. He needs that end around. That's fun. That is what I'm going to wait for.

1:12:31Mike Wright:You can get the end around and then get stuffed on the next screen and ruin it.

1:12:35Jason Moore:Yeah, that's fun. Interesting. I'm taking Amon Ra. I'm just going with the big dog. He's six and a half receptions, divisional game against Minnesota. I told you I really think Goff could go off this week. So I'm going to take Amon Ra there.

1:12:52Andy Holloway:I got Alec Pierce. Nasty slash dirty boy. 39 and a half receiving yards is the projection i will take the more okay i'm gonna go and finish

1:13:04Mike Wright:this up with my green goblin my tight end position more than three and a half receptions for what are you tucker crap oh i thought it was for me oh he did a bottle on his hat

1:13:18Jason Moore:real nice um my uh green goblin is at tight end it is mr zackerts he's sitting at two and a half

1:13:26Andy Holloway:receptions okay i'll definitely go more than that and i'm i got travis kelsey 46 and a half receiving yards i'm going more i'm gonna believe i'm gonna believe that we're back all right sort

I'm not sure. I don't think they would have let us have it. They probably, yeah, they're pretty cool. That'll do it. Break that one. Oh, no. Oh, no.

1:14:11Mike Wright:Well, that's one for YouTube, folks.
