In short
Fantasy Footballers episode (8/6) featuring “Leader of the Pack” (Packers WR competition) plus league-wide news and a live mock draft (12-team, half PPR, 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1 flex).
Guests
No external guests. Hosts are Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright (plus recurring “Papa Josh”/Al Borland/Betsy/Julia appear as draft participants, not named guests).
Guest backgrounds
Not applicable—no guest interviews. The mock draft includes multiple team members/participants from the show’s staff.
Key claims
- Packers WR “leader of the pack” is Christian Watson; upside is Matthew Golden; Jaden Reed’s value depends on being used in two-WR sets.
- If Golden becomes the X (replacing Romeo Doubs), Reed’s two-WR-set usage is limited.
- Christian Watson is the safest fantasy bet among the three if healthy.
Notable examples
- Packers WR snap/usage: Reed ran 2 routes with ≤2 WRs in 2023, 5 in 2024, and 1 in 7 games last year.
- News: Commanders sign Stefan Diggs (up to $12M); Colts extend Jonathan Taylor (2 years, $39M guaranteed); Jameer Gibbs contract progress; Josh Jacobs groin injury; Buccaneers knee issue for Jalen McMillan; Ted Hurst mentioned as a camp/roster watch.

1:09Jason Moore:Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
1:25Mike Wright:Oh, welcome in.
1:32Mike Wright:I told you. I told you he wasn't going to do it. I thought for sure we'd get something. I told you there's no way he's doing it today. He knows that this is not. No. I thought about it. Can you pick it? Carson Beck is not the day for it. I thought about it. It's Larry time. Oh. That would have been great. I'm wearing his Hall of Fame hat. But then it kind of muddles the real. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, no, I'm with Mike. It is Larry time. Welcome into the show, Thursday, August 6th. Amazing show today. We have a new segment to debut. We got news. We got the Hall of Fame game tonight. We've got a mock draft episode.
2:08Mike Wright:It's going to be awesome. Jason's got a fresh Larry Fitzgerald cap upon his head. His Hall of Fame cap.
2:14Jason Moore:Got it at the Pro Football Hall of Fame a couple weekends ago. It's just for today.
2:19Mike Wright:That's how into the Cardinals you are this year. It's just for today.
2:22Jason Moore:Well, I can represent Larry. Representing the Cardinals feels disgusting. So this is not a Cardinals hat. This is a Hall of Fame Larry hat.
2:30Mike Wright:I have a goal. Oh. We've had an O in like a winless team before. Detroit, yes. We did it one time. Have we had an O? I mean, the Cardinals have a chance at something special. They have a chance at O in 21 because they're in the Hall of Fame game. They get the bonus preseason game. Then they could lose three more preseason games. I see what you're saying. And then run the table in the lost column.
2:55Jason Moore:They usually do pretty well in the preseason. Teams that suck try hard in the preseason, while teams that are good are like, we're going to try some stuff. We're going to work on things.
3:03Andy Holloway:I will say, yes, we have seen the video. The Cardinals video that is making the rounds. You can keep tagging us if you want. It doesn't hurt my feelings. We are getting tagged a lot. I have told you, I don't care if this team succeeds or fails. Yeah, there they are.
3:24Jason Moore:The offense looks really bad. If you haven't seen the video.
3:29Mike Wright:Time for the Hall of Fame game, everybody.
3:31Jason Moore:You need to see it because it's pretty amazing. At least we get to see Carson Beck, and he gets to see so much of the field. Everything. He can see the field better than any human alive. That's about his eyes. No, he's got good vision. Peripheral. He was built to see a lot
3:49Andy Holloway:You know but I don't know if you all remember Do you remember the movie Pitch Black And the monsters had a blind spot Right in the middle Yeah don't throw to the middle of the field He might not be able to see it Do you remember Pitch Black With Vin Diesel from 30 years ago Bro it spawned a trilogy man Respect Riddick Pitch Black rules Those were good movies Thank you Josh If you haven't gone down with Pitch Black in a while, you really should. It's so bad, it's good.
4:19Mike Wright:We never tied a theoretic joke into that movie back in the day. Yeah, we made mistakes. Yeah. We have a big announcement.
4:26Andy Holloway:He could have been Pitch Black. Oh, man.
4:27Mike Wright:Big announcement to start things off. You can mouth trumpet, Mike, if you want to. This is the last time we're going to make this announcement, but we want to see you there. It has almost sold out the Megalist show in Phoenix end of the month, August 28th, Friday at the Van Buren in Phoenix, Arizona. We have just released about 50 tickets that we had held back as comps and things like that. We just released them. So there are some prime seats available at ballerslive.com. If you want to come to the live show, they are amazing. It's an opportunity to hang out with probably 800 other Foot Clan fantasy football fanatics.
5:11Mike Wright:We've got a great show planned.
5:12Jason Moore:It's going to be an awesome time. We've got some great things planned. It's about three weeks from today, so make your arrangements. Come on out. Come see us. There's still some tickets left now that we open them up. Betsy will be there. The Borgogan will be there. It should sell out pretty soon.
5:26Andy Holloway:Do not forget, presented by our friends at SiriusXM, sponsored by GMC and PetSmart.
5:30Mike Wright:Absolutely. We're so excited.
5:32Andy Holloway:There's going to be a bunch of crew there. I don't know what the crew are planning. I don't know if they're trying to be Waldo incognito. I don't know if they're well, Brian Ketren the biggest loser will probably have a giant arrow pointing at himself to make sure that everyone knows who he is.
5:52Mike Wright:Julia will be there doing push-ups.
5:56Andy Holloway:If you want to do a push-up contest, find Julia.
6:01Mike Wright:She will crush you. We'll take 10 % of the takes. She can keep the 90%. It'll be great. So, ballerslive.com if you want to get in. There's a few tickets left. The time is now. Go grab them. We're looking forward to seeing you at the end of the month. All right, let's get it going.
6:23Mike Wright:Leader of the Pack, presented by PetSmart. All right, we are kicking off today's episode with Leader of the Pack. We are going to look at some situations at running back and wide receiver over the course of the next few weeks. This is useful stuff. Where there are competitions. There are situations that a different player could end up being named the leader of the pack, right? And that's going to matter when you're deciding between some options. And this is a great one to start off with. We're going to look at the Packers wide receivers. because I think you can make a compelling argument for all three guys to be the one you're interested in this year for one reason or another.
7:07Mike Wright:And maybe, you know, obviously one of those arguments is going to be more compelling to you than another. But, you know, this is a really weird wide receiver room. In the past, you know, we've had a rotation here. No wide receiver on the roster surpassed 725 receiving yards last year. dealt with injuries. Matthew Golden wasn't really a factor. Romeo Dobbs was part of this team. Dontavian Wicks was a part of this team. To start this year, it could be a very confusing, tough decision for fantasy players. So what are you thinking about the Christian Watson, sixth round pick, Jaden Reed, 10th round pick, Matthew Golden, 11th round pick?
7:46Mike Wright:How are you breaking this down?
7:47Jason Moore:Yeah, it's very interesting because if you get it right, I think you're going to have great fantasy success. The way that I view it, the upside for each one of these, right? You've got Matthew Golden, first-round pick, should be on the field in two wide receiver sets. However, early in this offseason, there was some reports that it was Christian Watson and Jaden Reed working in two wide receiver sets. Now, that's been the knock on Jaden Reed, is he's just a slot guy. And if you're – we want wide receivers to work in the slot. That is great for fantasy. But if you only work in the slot, you pretty much aren't on the field enough to be very relevant.
8:23Jason Moore:Now, I do think Jaden Reed might be the best wide receiver of the three. Personally, he is very, very good, but they like what he does. He's also been good for fantasy in the past. Rookie year, he was the wide receiver 23. He followed that up with fewer snaps and yet was a decent wide receiver. I think wide receiver, he was top 25, and then last year was just gone, poof. So if he works into the field in two wide receiver sets, he's great. The highest upside is Matthew Golden. but am I I think ups the upside case I don't know if that's true so he's the camp reports have been very glowing on Matthew Golden that he's finally showing what you know he's been making plays all over the place he is um a great athlete obviously has the draft capital to where the team believes in him but I'm I'm saying all that to work to Christian Watson which is who I am putting my chips on who I think is the it for fantasy football for scoring fantasy points the way they use him in And the assurance that he will be on the field, barring injury, which is really his big problem, but if he is healthy on the field, which is the only thing we can work with, he's going to score the most fantasy points of these three.
9:33Jason Moore:I don't believe in Matthew Golden.
9:36Andy Holloway:Yeah, I'm very in on Christian Watson. If you've been hanging with us for the entire offseason, he is ranked extremely high for me. I'm very bullish with the other guys gone, the talk of fewer rotations at the wide receiver position.
9:51Mike Wright:Yeah, I think these three guys are going to be out there a ton.
9:53Andy Holloway:The question comes down to, because I got Watson on the top here, but like Reed and Golden, we had a brief moment in time. A tweet came out and said, here are the starting, this is the starting offense for the Green Bay Packers. Got down to wide receiver, there was two of them. It was Christian Watson and Jaden Reed. and it was what? Jaden Reed has been only used in three wide receiver sets by Coach LaFleur. So that was like this weird, interesting nugget, I think, that kind of shook what was going on for fantasy football. But then just a few days later, you had the interview with Jordan Love.
10:33Andy Holloway:I think he was talking to Kay Adams, and he's like, Matthew Golden's the X. He's taking over for Romeo Dobbs.
10:40Mike Wright:And that makes the most logical sense.
10:42Jason Moore:Yes. You kind of have to project that. You have data here. I mean, with the number of routes that Jaden Reed has run with two or fewer wide receivers on the field, he ran two of them in 2023, five of them in 2024, and one route in seven games last year. They like him. They gave him an extension,$20 million guaranteed, but they like what he does. Why would they change what he does if he's a slot wide receiver?
11:08Mike Wright:You know, they have obviously the departure of the two other big names in the offseason. Maybe. I mean, it's not too dissimilar than Josh Downs in Indianapolis, where most of the experience of that player has been in the slot. But they like the talent of the player. So they may give them more opportunities on the outside at times. Obviously, if an injury happens, which, look, Christian Watson has happened a lot. Sure. But if an injury happens to any of these guys, you get a lot of target consolidation that you haven't seen in Green Bay in recent years. It's tough. I mean, I think that I think this is a situation where we're saying who's the leader of the pack in fantasy perspective.

11:44Mike Wright:We all agree. It's Christian Watson. However, I think all three players are good picks.
11:48Jason Moore:Yeah, I think all three are good picks in fantasy.
11:50Mike Wright:I don't see any consequence with shooting your shot on Jaden Reed in the 10th round. He's a player that I feel a little bit burnt on because for years I've said I believe in the talent of this guy. They don't give him enough opportunities. And then Matthew Golden in the 11th as a first round wide receiver who I know it was a rough start to the year. but against Chicago, four for 84 and a touchdown in the playoffs, I just don't see how any of them are bad picks. Reed ahead of Golden is –
12:13Jason Moore:Yeah, I think that's pretty interesting. I agree. Reed to me is the only one that I am starting to be out on. After that conversation where it was kind of confirmed that – because the whole concept for Reed to have success is that he is going to finally be using two wide receiver sets with Dobbs being gone. But when that conversation came out and said, yeah Matthew Golden the guy that they did draft to play the outside is is replacing the X then I then I don't think Jaden Reed can be good for fantasy if he's not on the field in two wide receiver sets so to me I think it goes Christian Watson that's one leader of the pack leader of the pack is Christian Watson to me but I would love to take some shots on Matthew Golden with the camp reports that he's great because I will say if you were to say which one of these players next year will we just feel really foolish like duh well the first round drafting the first round no sure but the first round nfl draft pick that they had the guy in his way depart on a good offense in year two if he ends up just being a really good player next year we'll feel foolish
13:20Mike Wright:and it doesn't cost you anything in the 11th mike how do you feel about this this uh frame of thinking here and and yeah i would put matthew golden in as the underdog that can have that relevant position you've always loved romeo dobs yes i think we've all respected the talent of dante van wicks he's had drop problems but like you know right now he's the two in philly and and then you have reed and then you have watson and then you have craft like you look at that that's that's five names not matthew golden is there a chance that the matthew golden storyline is just not that much opportunity i know we say targets are earned but as a rookie those are five names that are pretty big names yeah and they ran the ball it was a Josh Jacobs
13:58Andy Holloway:offense sure it's the I think Jacobs and like the question of what is this offense going to be does Jacobs still have enough you know things kind of petered out at the end of last year yes there were injuries of course but Jacobs is is an older running back and wasn't super efficient I mean he was scoring tons of fantasy points it's just can does you know is there a step loss that's that's a it is a fair question I think to ask I've got Christian Watson by far as the leader and my second choice assuming you're not counting Tucker Kraft because we're just talking about yeah just wide out it's I would I'd take the shot on Golden yeah it's surprising Jane Reed's in year
14:44Jason Moore:four Matthew Golden only played 53 percent of the snaps last year it felt like oh he was out there not doing anything because he played most of the games, but he was not a full-time player. So he has a huge opportunity to improve. That was... Oh, you got hit. Matthew Golden got... I feel like I just got smashed in the face.
15:04Mike Wright:I was trying to transition there, Al. Yeah, the timing wasn't ideal. I just feel like when Packers are being brought up on this show, you kind of lose your head a little bit. Is that fair? My figure was hovering over that button for a long time. I felt like I was patient, but then I was too patient. Then you're like, he's closing the segment. It's now or never. It's now or never, boys.
15:23Andy Holloway:You were hovering over the button and found the worst possible time? Yeah. How did you do that?
15:29Mike Wright:Let's try it again. That was Leader of the Pack presented by PetSmart. Visit your local PetSmart store or go to PetSmart.com today. PetSmart, anything for pets. News and notes from around the league. He hits the drops like Josh shoots a basketball. You know what I mean? All right, dude. All right.
15:52Jason Moore:Can we get it on the back wall? Oh, my gosh. No. No. This is. I hate you guys so much. The problem is the video is so much worse than the photo, which is terrible. I mean, it's not great. This is a podcast. Oh, no. I mean, most people listen.
16:07Mike Wright:Josh, I'm on your. I wouldn't. Oh, I don't. You know, you can show it. I got no shit. We need to shame him. I just surveyed our audience. The majority still listens, Josh. So you're in good. We can't really convey. Oh, we can convey it. I can convey it.
16:23Andy Holloway:You know how bad Jeremy's timing was with that button? Josh's shot is worse.
16:28Jason Moore:Way worse. We were filming something for the Phoenix Suns yesterday, and we had to do a little.
16:34Mike Wright:We did a little basketball competition in the office with one of those behind-the-door basketball hoops.
16:38Jason Moore:And we all took some shots. Everyone did pretty well.
16:43Mike Wright:Mike is like, for Mike to maybe say he doesn't want to show it. It's that bad as much. Thank you, Mike. Mike doesn't have a sense of protecting somebody's shame.
16:53Jason Moore:It was like the first time anyone has ever thrown a ball.
16:56Andy Holloway:He tried to shoot it like he throws an axe.
17:00Jason Moore:If you ask yourself.
17:01Mike Wright:The ball hit the wall on the right. If you ask yourself, hey, what happens if I shoot with the opposite hand? It's twice as bad as that. So if we get it, we'll throw it up on the screen. Oh, gosh. I'm sorry for the audio. Oh, yes. I mean, the hoop is right in front of him. The hoop is straight. Can we run that back, please? Oh, yeah, let's see this one more time. Oh! I don't even know if they understand where the hoop is.
17:27Jason Moore:YouTube.com slash TheFantasyFootballers to experience and share in the shame of Papa Josh, who we love. Oh, my goodness gracious. First bit of news.
17:36Mike Wright:The commander signed Stefan Diggs to a one-year deal worth up to$12 million. dollars he's 32 almost 33 years old that puts him uh that puts him in the nearly davante adams mike evans category age wise digs is not the player he once was but he did have 102 targets 85 catches a thousand yards four touchdowns in new england it's wild to think that he you know it's like i already i knew it so it's not surprising now but when i was going through the stats early in
18:04Jason Moore:the offseason i was like wow digs had a thousand yard season he did just felt like it's because Because it started slow.
18:09Andy Holloway:It started slow. And if you drafted Diggs, like I did. I drafted him late. And we got to like week three. And it was. He was the wide receiver 16 in fantasy football last year. Is it going to catch on? And then it did. Are you drafting Diggs? I'm not drafting Diggs.
18:26Mike Wright:Well. I'm not opposed to it. Here's what I love about it. I love it for Jaden Daniels. I've been so worried about, I mean, the departure of, you know, you bring in a Conqua. We don't know what that rapport is like. He had a rapport with Zach Ertz. McLaurin, he's also, I mean, they have, they've got some age. Sure. At the wide receiver room. Antonio Williams being there. This feels like the necessary kind of like stabilizing piece of a wide receiver room that gives me more confidence that Jaden Daniels can perform week in, week out in the passing.
18:57Jason Moore:100%.
18:58Andy Holloway:This is year two off of the ACL.
19:00Jason Moore:I was statistically high on Jaden Daniels, but like emotionally scared out of my mind.
19:07Mike Wright:Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, I mean, Jaden's really high in our rankings, so this is good. And I don't mind you taking a shot on Diggs later in the draft. I think that he could have some PPR value. It's probably not going to be, you know, 1 ,013 yards in 17 games. That is not a high number, but it's not irrelevant either.
19:25Andy Holloway:I think it really hurts.
19:28Mike Wright:It's about 59 yards a game.
19:31Andy Holloway:If you were in Okonkwo, bro, I think that this is a massive down arrow for that. Or an Antonio Williams true thought. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, you're right, Mike.
19:42Mike Wright:The short area targets, the stuff that they're going to fight over it now. Washington had the second highest vacated target share in the NFL, so there's room for digs. Jonathan Taylor and the Colts have reached an agreement on a two-year extension. It includes$39 million guaranteed. Good for you, man. He had been paid, and then he wanted to get paid some more, and they said, all right, we're not going to fight this time. Get dash money. I mean, two-year extension, bunch of guaranteed money. That means Bijan, Jonathan Taylor, and then the latest report on Jameer Gibbs is that he is both going through the walkthrough and when someone asked him if the contract extension was close, he threw him a thumbs up.
20:18Mike Wright:So I think today, tomorrow, this week, Gibbs should get paid as well. Josh Jacobs. Ow! That was vile. Wow. He's not practicing because of a groin injury, a severe one, according to Jason.
20:33Jason Moore:Yeah. Well, I hadn't seen this news yet. And the fact that he's on my League of Record team, it hurts me and my groin.
20:40Mike Wright:It's unsurprising.
20:41Jason Moore:So that was just guttural.
20:43Mike Wright:Yeah. So, so far, just to be clear, let me just count down the League of Record running back room for you. Lost Jonathan Taylor. Lost Jonathan Taylor, who got that money. Yeah, you lost him in the keeper lottery. Mm-hmm. Just got paid. Correct. You have Travis A. Chan Jr. Correct. Who we just found out Kamara's going to take third down. Yeah, I'm not a big fan of. And then we have Josh Jacobs, who he's had an offseason that's led to a. Ah. Yeah. Okay. You're doing great. 2027. Here we come.
21:12Jason Moore:Yeah. Todd Bowles says he's unsure when Jalen McMillan will return to practice.
21:18Mike Wright:Banged his knee a couple days ago. Tess Johnson. Tess Johnson. This is just a reason for Mike to. Okay. What is that?
21:25Jason Moore:Oh, we got a drop. Yeah.
21:27Mike Wright:Okay. Oh, we got multiples. Hey. Nice. Oh, so we got Ted Hurst all up in this place. Okay.
21:34Andy Holloway:Ted Fred Dursthurst. There I am. Yeah.
21:38Mike Wright:So Ted Hurst. The only reason I don't like the drop is because I enjoy saying it more. Yeah, I don't know if I'll go with it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Ted Hurst is, I mean, he's a talented, big-bodied outside wide receiver. He's going to compete with Jalen McMillan. Come on. If McMillan is hurt.
21:54Jason Moore:Yeah, it's just an interesting name to keep your eye on. I don't even know if you should be necessarily drafting him with your last pick. But if he. You know what happens if you draft him? You get to do that. Yeah. It is fun. And I really like the tape. I was a Ted Hurst believer before the draft. And I thought he landed. Even before the bit. Even before the bit. I thought he landed in a great spot in trying to replace, you know, not replicate, but come into the place where Mike Evans just vacated. So it's interesting because McMillan was having a good camp and Tess Johnson was having a good camp.
22:28Jason Moore:But there have been positive reports from Todd Bowles, from others about Ted Hurst. So just pay attention to that. Do we call him Ted? Not what you said.
22:37Andy Holloway:Do we go Ted Fred Durst Hurst? Yeah, so I wrote it this morning both ways. And I was like, I don't like Ted Fred.
22:44Mike Wright:I don't like Ted Hurst Fred Durst. Oh, come on. Ted Durst? I don't know, man. Fred Durst. There it is. I think we keep workshop. You know what time it is. Keep on rolling, baby. We're going to take a break and then we're going to mock draft.
23:04Mike Wright:What's up, Foot Clan? You are confident and disciplined and focused on details, just like everyone here at the Fancy Footballers, right? Those are words you use to describe us. 24:01Jason Moore:If you're an NFL fan, ESPN is where you need to be this season. It's the biggest lineup they've ever put together. Monday Night Football, every week, every game on NFL Network. Now also available with an ESPN Unlimited plan. And for the first time ever, Super Bowl 61. marquee matchups, MVP quarterbacks, international games, the whole season start to finish. Football's on ESPN.
24:35Jason Moore:The Fantasy Footballers Mock Draft.
24:41Andy Holloway:I just got a reel of Limp Bizkit this morning. They're still out there crushing. I think your phone's listening. No, you are mistaken, dude. This was a big crowd.
24:55Mike Wright:They're out there crushing. And that's why we partnered with them this year on this. Mock draft time. Let's go. 12 team, half PPR, one quarterback, two running back, two wide receivers, one tight end, one flex, four bench spots, randomly assigned draft spots. I got the number one. I got the number one spot in the draft. I don't know if I've had a mock at the top like that. Kyle and Betts right after me. Mike and Jason back at 8 and 9 in the draft, and we've got the writers and the editorial staff and team here on board. Papa Josh, Al Borland also in the draft. All live picks here on the show. It is time to get this thing going, and I'm going to take the guy that has not gotten the check just yet, but he's going to be my 101 this year.
25:46Mike Wright:It is Jameer Gibbs, the differentiator to me between him and the rest. He's right in that prime on a great team. So I'm going to go with Jameer Gibbs.
25:56Andy Holloway:Yeah.
25:56Mike Wright:Jamar Chase going number two overall in this mock draft as we kick it off. B. John Robinson coming in at 103. Unsurprisingly, we go running back wide receiver, running back as we get this thing started. I mean, do you believe – are you both in the Jameer Gibbs at 101 camp right now?
26:20Jason Moore:I am very, very, very much in the Jameer Gibbs 101 camp, unless it came out that it truly was not a contract issue and he's dealing with injuries. Injuries would be a reason outside of injuries. He is projected to easily score the most points by a country mile. He's on the best offense that doesn't come close to the Atlanta Falcons offense, the scoring opportunities, the vacated rushing yards and touchdowns, the depth chart with he's competing with Pacheco. Like, to me, he is the clear 101. Well, the pick has been made.
26:54Mike Wright:Puka Nakua goes 104. Jonathan Taylor at 105. And JSN at 106. We went running back wide receiver back and forth for the first six picks. Amon Ross St. Brown goes 107, putting Mike on the clock. Mike and Jason back-to-back in this draft. that should be interesting to pay attention to i don't like it i mean it's very clear i think where mike's gonna go but we'll see i what are you what are you between i'm just it i'm uh i'm
27:21Andy Holloway:taking it back of i haven't of all the mocks we've already done this year i have not been in a situation to take my my sweet sweet christian mccaffrey which we'll see how hungry the power station's gonna be but I'm I'm in as running back for at this part of the draft so it's like do you take McCaffrey or you know CeeDee Lamb I think would be the the other pick that I would consider there but I'm I'm playing to win all right so CMC off the board to Mike Jason you're
27:53Mike Wright:on the clock as we get towards the back of the first round extremely easy for me to me CeeDee
27:57Jason Moore:Lamb is a tear break if you want to throw Justin Jefferson in there great but he obviously played last year with bad quarterbacks and wasn't great. A.J. Brown, Drake London, they're good players, but they are a tier down from C.D. Lamb to me. If I look at running back, running back, it's like, okay, James Cook, awesome. Yeah, I don't think he's great. I don't either, but I really like Hampton. I really like Kenneth Walker. I really like Chase Brown. You're just naming me and Mike's running backs in the League of Records. Someone's getting back to me after this turn, so I'm going to take Lamb. He was the end of a tier for me.
28:29Jason Moore:Very, very easy pick for me.
28:32Mike Wright:All right. We are. Well, we saw James Cook go off the board next. So, CeeDee Lamb. Then it's James Cook. Puts Brooksy on the clock. He went Barkley in the first round.
28:43Jason Moore:This is interesting. Barkley, as a bounce-back guy, there's been a lot of talk, the change of Petulo going to Sean Mannion that Sean Mannion has said they want to go under center. And I don't know if that's great for, I mean, Jalen Hurts has played well under center, but I don't know that he'll scramble as much, but it's really good for Barkley or if potentially the tank gets involved. Oh, oh. I could see tank pigs be eating into some work this year.
29:11Andy Holloway:So Jefferson goes at the 112 to cash. How are you guys feeling about the quarterback competition right now between Kyler Murray and J.J. McCarthy?
29:22Mike Wright:I think it's just inevitable that it's going to be Kyler. I think it's going to be Kyler by a lot. and it gives me a lot of optimism around Jefferson.
29:31Andy Holloway:Okay, that's where it went. If you are feeling like it's Kyler, which I agree, the news coming out from different places does seem to be uneven on both sides of the quarterback battle. I think it'll be Kyler. If it's him, are we confident in Jefferson being a first-round pick?
29:51Mike Wright:I went on a little bit of a soapbox yesterday at lunch when the three of us were out there. I really, really hate. We've gone too far in the level of hyperanalysis at practice and OTAs in terms of completing. This guy went 10 for 11 today. This guy went 11 for 14 today. I don't care that much, and I really don't believe. I mean, there's a level where I care if a guy goes one for 11 and throws seven picks, but the small, minute details and accuracy when a player – Kyler Murray's never been in the system. You think he's going to be super accurate on day one of OTAs, and that's going to be what Kevin O 'Connell cares about?
30:30Mike Wright:Is day one of OTA completion percentage? He's just a much better player, so he's going to win the job. He's going to win the job because he's better, and he'll get the system down. Jefferson rounds out the first round, though. He goes at 112. Hampton, Chase Brown, Derrick Henry.
30:46Jason Moore:I assumed I was going to get Hampton in this draft, but that's also because I did not assume Ashton Jensie would get to me. Um, so it went in a different order. Very easy to me. I would take Ashton Jenty here.
30:57Mike Wright:So that the tight decision making there for me is the Jenty Ken Walker decision. Yes. Because it would be between those two. Those two have bounced back and forth in my rankings a little bit. It seems like you were very convicted on Jenty. Mike, you are back on the clock.
31:11Andy Holloway:I am equally as convicted to not have taken Ashton Jenty right there. So that worked out for me. Uh, cause I will not be rattled when it comes to Ken Bone Walker, baby.
31:21Mike Wright:The draft starting CMC Ken Walker for Mike when he has the eighth overall pick is – Very Mike. I just don't feel like – People don't hand us those type of starts in the mock draft, but Mike gets it. The year of Mike continues is all I'm saying.
31:38Jason Moore:CMC falling to eight. I mean, I think that's going to happen in a lot of leagues.
31:41Andy Holloway:Yeah, I think that's a totally normal ADP.
31:43Jason Moore:I probably would have picked him at eight, and I wouldn't have picked him at seven, so that's where he should be going.
31:49Mike Wright:well ken walker and cmc for mike building a super team brock bowers goes 206 a-chan what
31:56Andy Holloway:could go wrong with christian mcafree and ken walker nothing nothing at all devon a-chan goes
32:01Mike Wright:at 207 i think that is a steal aj brown uh trey mcbride at 209 so bowers and mcbride three picks apart unsurprisingly nico collins at 210 drake london at 211 the nico pick betsy took him why does Nico feel like the least sexy pick in the first two I am completely in agreement
32:23Jason Moore:um I you know you're not inspired by the passing game of CJ Stroud uh this is going to be a slow offense Nico is fantastic I mean when when he's out there he's scoring a lot of points but last year it wasn't a smooth ride um you know had had some down games but you know he was the wide receiver eight so I think maybe if he keeps getting pushed down to the back of the second
32:47Andy Holloway:you know it could be a value yeah I think there's it's the the the feelings about CJ Stroud are not strong and that's seeping over onto uh to Nico who like yes there were there Nico had more bad games for in a top tier wide receiver than you really want but he also had a lot of great games so I'm still in on Nico I still believe in his talent he's 27 so he'll still be in his prime and uh I mean looking at the the roster construction Betts had Bijon so it's the do you want to start your draft with two Atlanta Falcons some people are okay with it Betsy was not
33:31Mike Wright:yeah I don't love the decisions I have to make here at the turn with such a long wait ahead of me I want to bring it up because if you are drafting at like 101 where you've got the turn in the long wait, which is 22 picks. I'm not going to take Colson Loveland here. That's too early for me for Colson Loveland. I'm also not going to get Colson Loveland. I have to accept it because I might want him, but I can't get him at a spot where I feel like it's the right value and the wait is too long. He's going to go in the next 22 picks. I've got back-to-backs here. My decision-making at running back here is Jeremiah Love or Josh Jacobs.
34:11Mike Wright:I have Jameer Gibbs you could argue hero RB situation there gives me some time for Jeremiah Love to ascend a little bit in Arizona I just don't trust that team enough to make the difference I'm going to take Josh Jacobs and go running back running back and then I am going to it's between
34:30Andy Holloway:you could be the highest of T
34:32Mike Wright:I could be the highest you mean to take both of them
34:35Andy Holloway:Gibbs Jacobs Love That's a unique, interesting start.
34:41Mike Wright:It is interesting in the fact that the wide receivers here, like Olave's on the table and Pickens is on the table. But there's a lot of guys I like in a lower. I mean, I like Waddle. I don't mind taking a shot on Devontae Adams, Jamison. Well, Jamison, maybe not on the same team, but Abuka, McConkie I like. There's a lot of names I like there, so that's interesting. But I'm going to go Josh Yellen at 301.
35:03Jason Moore:That's a good pick.
35:04Mike Wright:I'm going to take Josh Yellen at 301. I wasn't going to obviously go two onesies there with like a Loveland Allen. So I'm going to go Gibbs, Jacobs, Allen to start the draft. Jeremiah Love does go next to Kyle Pickens and Olave. Those are the three other names I was between. Putting Al Borland back on the clock, he pulls the trigger on Rashi Rice. Man, hopefully he's healthy. Yeah, I find myself vacillating a little bit on Rice where it's like...
35:32Andy Holloway:The entire offseason, he's been this guy where you know what he is for fantasy. And now I don't feel that way. It feels, yeah, he is a very polarizing heart-brain pick. My heart doesn't want to take Bryce from my fantasy football team. My brain knows what the numbers are. He's not cheap enough to make it a guarantee.
35:57Mike Wright:But he goes at 305. Kyron at 306. Jason loves that. Tett McMillan at 3.07, and the boys are back-to-back here in the third round. Mike has Christian McCaffrey and Ken Walker. I mean, if you want to just keep it going, Mike, you want to be high T. I think there's a DeAndre Swift out there with your name on it.
36:16Andy Holloway:There is, and based off of this room of people, I think there is a low chance. If I pass on Swift, I think there's a low chance that he would come back. I think in your home drafts, I would definitely push. Lynn, let Swift come back to me in the fourth. Running back-wise, ADP, we're talking Brees, Javante, Scadaboo, H.N. Jr. of the Saints. And then at the wide receiver, T. Higgins is there.
36:48Mike Wright:You've always loved yourself some T. Higgins.
36:50Andy Holloway:I do love T. Higgins. I think it's honestly coming down to, so it's my wide receiver one. I want to know for sure that I'm getting a target floor, which Garrett Wilson strongly fits that bill. Jason, I don't know if you've been reading up on Geno Smith, which that's obviously I'm lying. I know you've been reading up on Geno Smith.
37:12Mike Wright:I think I saw Jason and Geno on the sideline of the Chargers practice.
37:16Jason Moore:I bring it up because it's actually been guys. It's been he's wearing red contacts now. Okay. To stop the glare. He learned this way. I have not done it. I knew you were locked in on Gino News. Of course I'm locked in on Gino Smith. No, he's wearing red contacts. What? Do his eyes look crazy? I haven't been up close. Like a demon. Like in the Thriller video? I'm hoping those red contacts just lock on to Garrett Wilson.
37:45Andy Holloway:So, I mean, they definitely will. So it's Garrett Wilson or do you take the risk on Malik Neighbors? At 308? that he's okay.
37:55Jason Moore:I think it's a great value. You've got to ask yourself, are you okay with that being your wide receiver one? I can't hear
38:00Mike Wright:any of Jason's commentary right now without knowing he's picking next. I just can't.
38:06Jason Moore:Yeah, all I wanted was Malik Nabors. I knew it.
38:09Mike Wright:I knew it. I couldn't hear it without him.
38:11Jason Moore:I figured you would want he was being the straight man. I love Garrett Wilson, but Malik Nabors in the third, if he ends up healthy, even if he gets off to a slow start and he's 70 % of what he would be, it's a phenomenal pick.
38:23Mike Wright:It is tough, though, with like, I mean, he is his one.
38:26Jason Moore:That was the hope that I had was that I could talk him off of neighbors by pointing out that he is. You don't have another wide receiver. I have C.D. Lamb, so I would trade you Garrett Wilson. It sounds counterintuitive.
38:38Andy Holloway:It's my one. My wide receiver, I want him to be solid. But I have two, in my projections, two stud running backs. So it's like I can now wait on the running back position and I can kind of pad more wide receivers in the meantime.
38:54Mike Wright:There's going to be value there next round. Jason's on the clock. I feel good about it.
38:57Jason Moore:Lamb and Gentry. I'm on the clock. I think that running backs are going to die out quicker than the wide receivers that I like. So even though I really like Garrett Wilson here, he would be the wide receiver I would take. I'm going to take my man Cam Scadaboo. Over Garrett Wilson? Yes. Because of the position, I want to make sure I'm solid there. There's a lot of wide receivers I like in this draft later on. Later on, I have not enjoyed running backs later in drafts this year.
39:25Mike Wright:Four teams through the first two rounds went running back, running back. Two more teams added a second running back in the third round, and we are rolling over to the fourth here. Abuka Flowers-Higgins, great value at wide receiver, finishing out the third. Garrett Wilson, Javante, and Loveland, and it's back to Jason.
39:46Andy Holloway:Brooks has always been a man of exquisite taste
39:50Mike Wright:was that the Zay Flowers pick? oh did he take flowers? just completely unrelated I was just complimenting him Fabergé eggs so I am a wealthy wise man
40:03Andy Holloway:Brooks moves away and that bit goes away
40:05Mike Wright:you stole that from us Brooks just imagine how he's living in Ohio he's king do you own Ohio? That's the only state in the union that elects a king.
40:21Jason Moore:He elected himself.
40:22Mike Wright:I like the idea of electing a king. I mix democracy with being the ruler of a nation. Jason, you're back on the clock.
40:32Jason Moore:So it's a pretty easy decision because I've got Gentian Scadaboo. I'm looking between either wide receiver, which is a clear Devontae Smith to me. I love Devontae Smith. At this point in the fourth, I think he's going to be a top 12 wide receiver. or I got Tyler Warren.
40:47Mike Wright:Yeah, I figured he was on the dog.
40:49Jason Moore:I haven't had enough shares of him, so I'm going to swing on taking an elite tight end, someone that I do think is going to have 140 targets at the position.
40:58Mike Wright:Yeah, we just talked about it, and they go back to back on yesterday's show. Mike, you are back on the clock. I'm going to give you a second to think about it. We'll take a break and come right back.

42:32Andy Holloway:Visit snhu.edu slash footballers.
42:40Mike Wright:all right mike's on the clock here at pick 405 coming around for you know the big decision on you know does it go back to wide receiver lamar jackson's going to go here in the next couple rounds jayden daniels and company mccaffrey walker neighbors you're up so the the decision
43:00Andy Holloway:on tight end has been made for me so i'm i'm not even looking or considering that uh wide receiver wise it'd be down to Devontae Smith and also uh the Jalen Waddle is in that conversation for me I I lean Smith right now and then so between those two and Lamar Jackson I think that really is the decision uh to be made here having my running backs have thinned a lot yeah
43:28Mike Wright:but I'm I'm cool I know I know you're not I'm just looking at the board sure we have a handful of teams like team four has no running backs so they've thinned out quite a bit i'm i'm gonna go
43:40Andy Holloway:with davante smith it's a little you know it felt like a safe it feels he feels a little bit safer
43:45Jason Moore:than jalen waddle having him with neighbors i think is is great because we we know davante smith is has always been a wide receiver one when given the opportunity it's it's really hard to remember
43:57Andy Holloway:of like Devontae Smith just a true dominant college player comes in as a two is great and I yeah you feel like because it took so long for him to get his chance to be the wide receiver one for the team like oh can he do it yeah I I have no doubts that he can right be a one but yeah the
44:19Mike Wright:feeling is definitely unsure because he hasn't been yeah i uh i'm upset um devante smith breeze hall lamar jackson uh sorry yeah devante smith breeze hall lamar jackson deandre swift devante smith and deandre swift is yeah that's a combo of names jalen waddle mcconkey and burden go next um i i shouldn't have been surprised that the bets borg combo would abandon the thought of getting a second running back when they're almost gone just to troll me on the two picks I would have made. I figured Ladd McConkie in a normal draft would get back to me. I should have been smarter here. I've got to go to the wide receiver position, I think.
45:03Mike Wright:I do believe that Travis H.A. and Jr. here is a good deal. Bucky Irving's a good deal here. I'm going to take Bucky and see what that looks like. And then I'm going to come back with Devontae Adams as my first wide receiver. Yeah, I've got, I can, like, you know, like Mike's situation. I can spend the next four rounds taking wide receivers that I like. Burrow goes next. Was that your disappointment, Mike?
45:28Andy Holloway:No, not disappointment. More of the when this will happen in your draft and you will see someone take Burrow and you go, oh, they have Chase Burrow.
45:39Jason Moore:Oh, yeah. The Chase Burrow stack is a powerful thing. That's just devastating.
45:44Mike Wright:We get a run of running backs. H.A. Jr., Tootin, Henderson, D.J. Moore off the board at 5.06. You know, the D.J. Moore decision is going to be a big one. Christian Watson off the board. We talked about him at the Leader of the Pack segment. Mike obviously had his eyes set on Christian Watson.
46:01Andy Holloway:Oh, that would have been elite. But it's not now. Well, now I have to actually think about stuff.
46:07Mike Wright:McCaffrey, Walker, and Avery Smith.
46:09Andy Holloway:All right. Let me look at my rankings here wide receiver-wise. Guys, I would like Jameson, Pierce, Evans. Oh, man. I hate that Evans is hurt. And, I mean, I have McCaffrey. Do I really want to invest in the substation and everything that's going on there? I'm going to take – so I got two real strong target earners. I'm taking Jameson Williams right here. I want some nitro as a wide receiver three. Dadgummit, man. You keep doing it.
46:48Jason Moore:I didn't even talk to it. I just did it. I know, but it's like I wanted the neighbors, got one pick away, and of course you did it. And Jameson is a player Andy's loved. I've always been more hesitant because of that archetype of the boom bust, less consistent. But I was like, this is perfect for my team. I've got the consistency of Lamb. I need a boom bust.
47:07Andy Holloway:You can blame Kurt because I would have sprinted to draft Watson.
47:11Mike Wright:You know, you could have just, like, you get the chance to troll him on the way back. But you never take his players. You keep taking James. Loveland won before me.
47:19Jason Moore:I took Warren. He was more into Loveland. I would have considered Warren there.
47:24Mike Wright:All right. Jamison Williams off the board to Mike's team. Jason's got Lamb, Janty, Scadaboo, and Warren. You're back on the clock. You will pick again here real quick at the turn.
47:32Jason Moore:Yeah, I definitely need a wide receiver. There's some that I like here, but it's a tier down. I'm actually going to pull the trigger. I'm going one, two, three second-year running backs. I'm going to take Quinch on Judkins. I know Mike doesn't like him, but Andy and I do. He's looked great in camp so far, explosive. I think that the Cleveland Browns offense will be a little bit better.
47:56Mike Wright:Good pick.
47:56Jason Moore:Yeah.
47:57Mike Wright:Alec Pierce goes at 5 '10". Roma Dunze at 5 '11". As we get towards the second half of this draft, David Mopportunity at 5 '12". I don't know how to feel about him. I don't either. It changes day to day. Oh, no, Jason.
48:12Jason Moore:I spent a lot of this offseason being really bullish on the fact that he will be a three-down back. This is a team that will be in games. They're going to win 10 games. He might. I believe he will, but it's possible he's not. I just don't know if the offensive line is good enough to allow him to get the double-digit touchdowns. That's his upside. His upside is he gets 10 touchdowns, and if he does, he's going to be a great pick here. Is their line good enough?
48:37Mike Wright:carnell tate goes at 603 i love that pick by julia i probably would have taken him at at my next pick i i think he is going to be a steal if he goes anywhere four to seven uh jason you're back on the clock you've gone a running back running back tight end running back the last
48:55Jason Moore:four rounds yeah i'm i'm really thrilled here um i was between judkins and mike evans at my last pick the fact that a sixth round Mike Evans I still believe he has enough to give and I when he's on the field for San Francisco and let's say he misses three or four games that will suck but when he's on the field he's going to be good for fantasy he's going to score touchdowns Brock throws them they need him he's a red zone weapon you know I don't think there's any doubt that he is good for fantasy the way that you've got Devontae Adams the old man who's going to score a bunch of touchdowns um as my wide receiver too i'm fine with evans in the sixth all right mike
49:31Andy Holloway:you're back on the clock who's it gonna be so i i'm looking at the running back position you know uh price warren those are the guys kind of at the top of the adp i think price is interesting here the value of a first round running back should pay off right there but and then a quick uh peek at the oh so jaden daniels is still there that we've had so far we've had drake may went at 601
50:02Mike Wright:craft tate in this round lamar's off the board burrows off the board so this would be the quarterback five off the board at 605 you got a long wait for your next pick and i got late round
50:12Andy Holloway:guys i do like funny enough i was i thought i would be picking between terry mclaurin old man or Jordan Tyson, rookie hotness of...
50:23Mike Wright:Yeah, we tied to Tyler Schott.
50:24Andy Holloway:Like, Terry McLaurin as your wide receiver four seems pretty awesome. I'm going to take Jaden here.
50:31Mike Wright:All right, Jaden Daniels off the board at 6.05. Jadarian Price goes next, and Jordan Tyson does finally go off the board as the wide receiver three for Papa Josh. Tyson's going to be a really interesting selection as well. You know, I like Tate a lot more for year one, but in the draft, talent-wise, I like Tyson the most. So that situation versus talent is an interesting one.
50:56Andy Holloway:It is. It's the Cam Ward versus Shuck. So, Andy, when you think about Ward and Shuck, I know you guys aren't as in on Tyler Shuck as I am, but when you're thinking through something like Carnell Tate or Tyson, which pick has the uh the the higher chance of failing i think it's tyson for sure okay yeah
51:22Mike Wright:just because i you don't like olave is the bona fide number one um you know both of these teams didn't score a lot of points last year but i mean i feel like the floor falling on his face and i don't think he's gonna fall all the way on it i mean he's not gonna lose his job i know i think he's gonna hyper target carnell tate and i know that the target floor is gonna be there but i don't think it's a big difference i really don't i think tyson if he's on the field i mean he's going to be a focal point of the offense too um you know we we haven't even the probably the name we've talked about the least of anybody in this entire offseason for no real reason other than jordan tyson has been juan johnson sure who's had no conversation yeah they and he was working out
52:02Andy Holloway:with shuck well he's getting steamed yeah i mean the uh uh from the beat writers in new orleans like not ADP wise. No one wants Jwonson on their, their team, but he, he is frequently called out by like underhill and crew. So,
52:18Mike Wright:so that's where I'm like, I look at Tennessee and I know it's Tate, Tate and all Tate. I look at new Orleans and I say, look, you've got two good backs. You got a pass catching Camara, Jawan Johnson, a lobby is going to get his. Does it take Tyson more time? I don't know. I'm going to go Harold fan and at six 12. Okay. And Marvin Harrison at seven Oh one, Marvin Harrison is seven Oh one. I can deal with it. Warren, Stevenson, Harvey, and Brian Thomas Jr. go next into our seventh round. Papa Josh is on the clock. I thought it was Mike, but Papa Josh is sitting there deciding. Probably missed the button with that shooting hand.
52:52Mike Wright:Am I right? Chuba Hubbard. Chuba Hubbard might be the least sexy pick in the draft, but could work out. Michael Wilson at 7.07, same round as Harrison. Mike, you're back on the clock.
53:07Jason Moore:It's a pretty weird.
53:08Mike Wright:Jason, you shook your head.
53:09Jason Moore:I just saw how the draft was playing out, and I was waiting to see what happens on this pick. Oh! We'll see. No, Mike, just do your thing. I have no idea where you're going. I'm not thinking about it. I don't think you're trying. I think we just agree.
53:27Andy Holloway:Chuba's not usually going in front of Jonathan Brooks these days. So interesting to see how it fell there. Brooks is still on the clock. I don't love it I'm looking at the running back position because I do need we're in the 7th here so I will need to start adding some depth Manangai and his are we good? Does anyone know if he's fine, yeah
53:51Mike Wright:nothing to worry about it's August 6th he's already back
53:58Andy Holloway:at practice and he's got a month that's what I meant, is it full practice, I don't remember what I heard Rico Dowdle, I think is a fine pick here.
54:09Jason Moore:The last thing I read was that it looked like Rico was kind of cementing the RB1 spot.
54:14Andy Holloway:Rico Dowdle? Yeah. I've seen that one go back and forth. Yeah, I've seen it both ways.
54:19Jason Moore:I still haven't moved my rankings that way just based on that one report. But I could see it. Sounds like Jason wants me to draft Rico Dowdle. I've got three running backs, so that would be great. But I was not saying that for that. I was genuinely just reporting the news.
54:36Mike Wright:Boy who cried wolf over here.
54:37Andy Holloway:Yeah. I'm actually, it's early, but feeling like what's going to happen on this turn, I might not get him. So I'm just going to take, hold on, I got to find the thing. Corey Krosky Merritt.
54:56Andy Holloway:It's getting sweatier, guys.
54:58Mike Wright:Yeah, you like him.
54:59Andy Holloway:I'm getting sweatier for what's going on with Bill. and I don't necessarily like it about myself.
55:05Jason Moore:Yeah, I mean, Diggs helps the offense, helps the commanders entirely.
55:09Andy Holloway:And going with Jaden, we'll see if that works out.
55:11Jason Moore:This was good for me. I really needed a wide receiver, and I feel like there's one left that I like here. I like late wide receivers, but I'm going to take Makai Lemon. I took the old guy last round of Mike Evans, take the young guy this time.
55:21Mike Wright:He was the next name across all positions up on my board. It's a good pick. It is interesting. You've got Lamb and Evans, and then you're going the youngster in Lemon. Mason, Pittman, Laporta. Devastating, Jason. Great pick by Cash there with Jonathan Brooks at the 801. Sutton, Rashad White, and Jason pulling the trigger immediately on Dak Prescott.
55:42Jason Moore:I've been waiting. I was wondering if Betts, who has George Pickens, would take that stack earlier. He didn't.
55:49Mike Wright:So that's Dak over Dart. That's Dak over Lawrence. Dak over Caleb.
55:53Jason Moore:It's entirely with the stack. I wanted the CeeDee Lamb-Dak stack.
55:56Andy Holloway:Yeah, that makes sense. I pulled an ADP rope-a-dope. I let Rico go through because I thought Bill would get drafted. Rico made it back, so I'm going to take him as my RB4 here.
56:07Mike Wright:All right, Rico D 'Auto goes at the 805. Jackson Dart at 806. DK Metcalf at 807. And unsurprisingly, or maybe surprisingly, Kyle Pitts at 808, which I think is a great deal. Gets him about two rounds later than Fannin. I told you I believe in Kyle Pitts. I wasn't lying. I'm not proud of it. Kyle Monungay, Blake Corum. I wanted Corum at 8-12 or 9-01 here. Josh Downs off the board. Now I have to really do some thinking here. I'm going to take a wide receiver that will be out there every single down on an offense I'm kind of optimistic about. I'm going to take Quentin Johnston.
56:43Andy Holloway:Yeah.
56:43Mike Wright:And then I'm going to take a shot. Now, I need to pick a rookie. I want to pick a rookie wide receiver here. Concepcion. Yeah. Stribbling. I'm going to take a shot on Stribbling. Okay. The substation may be resistant to youth. I'm not sure yet. I'm going to take Stribling as a shooter shot. I mean, it's not because he was already banged up.
57:01Andy Holloway:But, yeah, well.
57:04Mike Wright:Pearsall's not.
57:05Andy Holloway:He's not young anymore.
57:06Jason Moore:Yeah, but he's been hurt since he got in.
57:09Mike Wright:Tony Pollard, Kenny Gainwell, Zach Charbonnet in the ninth round here as we get close to the end of the draft. Al Borland on the clock with – he's got a good set of running backs on this roster. just took Kyle Pitts and really can't decide what to do here. I gave him time. Yeah, you did. Sorry, I was looking for a guy. He's gone already. You're now officially the slowest. Just do it verbally. You're officially the slowest person. Draft him verbally. I'm definitely faster than all three of you. We're doing a show. You get to noodle out all your picks. But nobody else in the draft does. Everybody else takes their picks.
57:49Mike Wright:Jaden Reed goes next.
57:50Andy Holloway:George Kittle, Aaron Jones, and Mike, you're on the clock. George Kittle would have delighted you. Yeah, that would have been my pick for sure. I think I'm set here at the running back position. I feel good about that four-pack. I need a tight end in these last three picks. Wish it was George Kittle. um man have you guys i i i don't i don't think i'm gonna take it but i think it's worth the conversation have you guys been reading the latest on uh boston yeah i was gonna say david boston but that's uh he's been dominating according to reports people are saying he might be the one like i i think that's probably hyperbolic i mean but that's why wouldn't he be Well, Concepcion was drafted.
58:42Andy Holloway:I don't care about that.
58:44Mike Wright:I thought you were talking about Judy. Oh, no. There's room for anybody to be the one on that team, and they certainly aren't going to. I mean, we saw this in Green Bay years ago. The higher-drafted wide receiver wasn't the one that established himself there. I mean, best man for the job. All right.
59:00Andy Holloway:I'm taking – I still think that Chris Godwin has a little bit.
59:03Jason Moore:Oh, you did it again, man. It's a good job. I like the pick.
59:06Andy Holloway:I think he has something left in the tank, and I like Ibuka but I don't think it's crazy to say that at the end of the year Chris Godwin has the most targets for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers um I I agree and and some of the reports on him
59:21Jason Moore:have been uh glowing on his health and explosiveness um I'm second year off of an injury which
59:30Andy Holloway:multiple injuries that he gets throughout his career yeah I'm I'm gonna pull the trigger on
59:34Jason Moore:Matthew Golden here. Obviously, we talked about him earlier in the Leader of the Pack segment. I think at cost, he is a value. He's got the opportunity to be an every-down starter for a good offense. Just please be good. I don't think you are, but just do it. Surprise me.
59:50Mike Wright:Well, the other two are off the board, right? Reed and...
59:53Jason Moore:No, I think Reed was still there.
59:54Mike Wright:No, he wasn't.
59:55Jason Moore:Oh, okay.
59:56Mike Wright:Went at 905. Caleb Williams, Justin Herbert, Romeo Dobbs, Jacoby Myers, Chris Rodriguez. I was trying to sneak Chris Rodriguez on on my team. Tank Dell at 10.03. Jason back on the clock. Mike following Jason.
1:00:09Jason Moore:All right. Wow. Tank Dell going ahead of Jaden Higgins. I love Tank Dell, but Jaden Higgins has also been doing some good things. I'm going to take Jonah Coleman, a player I love. He's currently an interesting pick. He's currently third on the depth chart. Obviously, you've got sure he's worth a pick. You might not think so, but I believe that Jonah Coleman is a an excellent player. everything that has been said recently about him is that he's he's basically like a veteran he doesn't seem like a rookie at all i don't believe in rj harvey and jk dobbins gets injured
1:00:41Andy Holloway:batman is funny no batman i don't believe i believe in harvey oh come on keep up baby uh adp has obviously not caught up here but i'm going to take uh the ultimate late round sneaky stack here to go with jayden daniels i will take stefan diggs yeah he will not go here in drafts i don't think but also at the same time his adp won't get out of control and he's coming off a thousand
1:01:06Mike Wright:yards uh we have stefan diggs off the board to mike jordan addison goes next and i now we're waiting on josh casey conception off the board travis hunter goes next jayden higgins in the 10th round back behind Tankdale, Trevor Lawrence, and Denzel Boston. I did want Diggs. I'm going to take a shot on Jacoby Lane right now in Baltimore.
1:01:31Andy Holloway:Oh, so hot right now.
1:01:32Mike Wright:And so I've just been going wide receivers pretty much through and through. I'm going to take Debo Samuel as well with my final pick. Man, you're riding low tee. I mean, when you have Gibbs, Jacobs, and Irving, I feel pretty good. You know, my options at running back, I could have gone Kamara or Tracy or Woody Marks. Yeah, I'm happy with my choices. Dallas Goddard, I love the pick. Kyle, great last round, tight end option. Brock Purdy goes next. Tyler Shuck in the final round here. Kamara and Marks and Hurst. Oh, yeah! Thank you, Kurt. Ted Hurst goes in the 11th, probably just for that. And Mike and Jason, final pick.
1:02:15Mike Wright:Mike, you have to take a tight end.
1:02:16Jason Moore:I'm going to stand up and shout! out uh don't kade that is a great last pick at tight end um i'm looking for that's over likely
1:02:23Andy Holloway:that's over it is and it's i'm i'm fine taking travis kelsey here like i've said is the the floor play if you want a top 10 tight end i think travis kelsey fits the bill for that
1:02:33Jason Moore:but i'm i'm trying to do a little bit better than that um so here i'm just swinging for the fences on a young wide receiver there's plenty of guys on the waiver wire i can get that could go out and get me eight points. I'm hoping that what we've seen from Zachariah Branch, rookie wide receiver for the Falcons, he's been making plays, and the opportunity is there. I mean, part of why you like Kyle Pitts and you're embarrassed about it is because there's really a big void for targets after Drake London.
1:02:59Mike Wright:All right, that is going to round out our mock draft. If you want to see the entire draft board, you can do that on YouTube. My team ended up Gibbs, Jacobs, and Irving at running back. Josh Allen's my quarterback. Harold Fannin's my tight end. I feel like I got some good onesies there. Adams, Harrison, Quentin Johnson, Stribbling Lane, and Samuel at wide receiver.
1:03:21Jason Moore:I kind of like that. I like the feels kind of hero RB, even though that's not what the strategy is, just shotgunning wide receivers later. I started with Dak Prescott to stack with CeeDee Lamb. My onesies, Dak and Tyler Warren. Wide receivers, CeeDee Lamb, Mike Evans, Makai Lemon, Matthew Golden, and Zachariah Branch. And at running back, I got the young guys, Ashen Jinty, Cam Scadaboo, quinshawn judkins and jonah coleman at running back i got cmc ken bone walker bill krosky merit
1:03:50Andy Holloway:enrico dowdle my wide receivers are malik neighbors davante smith jameson williams chris godwin stefan diggs then i got jayden daniels to go with stefan diggs and dalton kincaid is my tight end
