In short

Fantasy Footballers mock draft (June 30) in a 12-team half-PPR, three-wide + flex format, plus a “trade for later” question (players not targeted in drafts but targeted via trades).

Guests/hosts

Hosts are Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright (Fantasy Footballers). The mock includes additional staff/writers: Julia, Kyle, Matt, Jeremy, Brittany, Kurt, Brooks, Betts, and Josh. No separate guest interviewees are named.

Key claims

  • Travion Henderson (Patriots RB) is a mid-4th-round value to trade for later; concern is Ramondre Stevenson’s role and early schedule, but expectation is Henderson gets ~60% early work and overtakes.
  • Jeremiah Love (rookie RB) could start slowly (trade target after a “mistake” start), but finish dominant.
  • Jordan Tyson (Saints WR) is a possible trade/waiver target if early signs look good; questions around New Orleans offense, Tyler Shuck, and health (Olave/Thyson).
  • Trade/pick upside for injured TE returnees: George Kittle and Jake Ferguson (Kraft mentioned) could be waiver/trade targets if they start poorly.

Notable examples from the mock

  • Early picks: Jamar Chase, Jameer Gibbs, Puka Nacua, Bijan Robinson; AJ Brown, Ceedee Lamb, James Cook, Amon-Ra St. Brown, JSN, Nico Collins, Josh Jacobs, Garrett Wilson.
  • QB value: Josh Allen taken in the 5th.
  • Controversial: Tony Pollard drafted despite offensive-line concerns; Chris Godwin drafted after concerns about health and target share.

1:32Mike Wright:That was a little loud for me too, Mike. I liked it.

1:36Jason Moore:It's a mock draft day, so. Just break their speakers. Take it up a notch.

1:42Mike Wright:Tuesday, June 30th, mock draft episode. Andy, Mike, and Jason, the fantasy footballers with you. Al Borland, Papa Josh, and the Falcon, also back there. And, yeah, we got a mock draft today. It'll be fun. We've got a full crew of staff and writers helping us out on the mock draft, so it'll be all real people, and we'll see where we're at here at the end of June. I'm sure our teams will look fantastic or bad.

2:15Jason Moore:is this an eight eight uh no team league no it's not it's uh 12th team okay all right but um

2:23Mike Wright:we'll get into that ultimate draft kit.com if you want to check that out all of our sleepers breakouts bus values player projections uh stat projections for every single player in the entire fantasy football world 130 000 words of original content written by human beings if that's what you call Kyle and Betts and the rest of this crew. But, no, it's the number one resource for getting ready for draft day. That's what this mock draft is about today as well. And you can find us over on X at the FFBallers if you want to follow us there. Jason's at Jason Moore. I'm at Andy Holloway. Mike is at FFHitman.

3:05Andy Holloway:Yep, still no at Mike.

3:07Mike Wright:No, your name is the problem. Your name is too.

3:12Andy Holloway:I remind my parents. They shouldn't have called you Mike? Yeah. It's like, boring. No, you should have been like. Mikel. That's better. You like that more? I mean, it's got a little more flavor. Flavor? I don't know. Quick question of the day from Eli.

3:33Mike Wright:Who's a player that you won't target at your draft, but you'll try to trade for later on?

3:38Andy Holloway:I'll start because mine's sad. because we haven't really talked, I think, a ton about the New England Patriots running back situation. I've talked about Henderson on the Dynasty podcast. I am a little concerned, and the draft community is not. Travion Henderson is going in the middle of the fourth on Sleeper. You had his breakout. It was awesome. it was our hopes and dreams felt like they were being fulfilled for a couple games and then remandre came back and they were like yeah we like remandre stevenson a whole lot so the

4:20Mike Wright:the disparity well this is acceptance from you yes it is it is like you know because when it's

4:27Andy Holloway:a rookie and it's like i i think henderson is just so much better than remandre stevenson Well, thank you, Chase. Thank you. That's some stuff for sure. It is. Unfortunately, it becomes this thing where it's like you have to disparage Ramondre. That's it. Yeah. And it's. The poor guy. He was good. Ramondre had a very good year and he's still going to be super involved. And the ADP market difference between Hendo and Ramondre for a timeshare that could see Ramondre as the leader. If nothing else, it's just a timeshare. and Ramondra could soak up a bunch of the touchdowns. Just in the fourth round, plus the first three games, at least compared to last year's strength of schedule, it's tougher.

5:15Andy Holloway:It's a tough three games for the running back position for fantasy scoring. Henderson's really not on my draft board where he is at ADP. Hopefully I'm wrong. Hopefully they end up unleashing Henderson with some volume in those first three games. But even with the volume, it might be harder for him to get going.

5:36Jason Moore:Yeah, I don't think you're going to be able to trade for him. I'm on the Henderson side. I believe that he overtakes Ramondre this year now that he's not a rookie and they need more out. They're going to be playing tougher teams. They're not just going to be winning every game all the time. And I think that they're going to need Henderson on the field. So I expect him to get off to a hot start. I've got a similar pick in mind, the guy that I feel like. So are you good with Hendo's ADP? I am fine with it because I actually think he's going to succeed. He's going to get 60 % of the work out the gate.

6:09Andy Holloway:The drumbeat has not been that direction. No. Over this offseason. We still have plenty of time for it to change.

6:16Mike Wright:I always debate these situations because they're just not the same player at all. They're just very different players. So it's like when it's like, ah, he's going to replace Ramondre, I'm like, how do you do that? You could get more work than you got last year. That's fine. But like, the team in no way, shape, or form looks at this as like, well, it's one guy's job right now, and then somebody else could take that job. It's just like it's two guys' job right now.

6:41Jason Moore:Yeah, and it will continue to be two guys' job. The trajectory I see is identical. We've said this before, but it's the Lions. It's the Gibbs and David Montgomery. You know I love David Montgomery. I think Ramondre Stevenson's a good player. But eventually, if one guy is able to have more explosive plays, you just have to get him a little bit more work, a little bit more work. We saw that year two of Gibbs. We saw that year three of Gibbs. It's just like eventually you get to this point where it's like, eh, he's got to be on the field.

7:07Mike Wright:That could happen, and you brought it up. We had a question, I think, on the footcast about if we had to choose sleepers, breakouts, busts, and values of teams in the NFL, and one of the bust names that came up was New England. Like do you have Super Bowl losers, they have a hard time getting back. They had a great schedule last year. Sometimes it was held against them, but they executed within what they were given, and they dominated.

7:33Andy Holloway:The opening schedule, just to expand on it, for the Patriots, on the road against Seattle. At home against Pittsburgh, okay. Road Jacksonville, road Buffalo. It's a tough start.

7:47Mike Wright:So that's where you could see trading for him. Jason and I both have picks that are rookies.

7:54Jason Moore:Yeah, I mean, it's pretty common for rookies to get off to a slow start, but I've got Jeremiah Love. We talked about him on last episode as whether his ADP was too hot to handle. We talked about he's probably going to finish the year as a running back one, but I think the process is going to be very aggravating in the beginning. I think he will feel like a bust pick those first couple of weeks. I don't expect him to get the lion's share. I don't expect him to get the goal line. Basically, if you're going to pick someone that's like, I think I'll be able to trade for them because obviously whoever drafts Jeremiah Love, they are going to think I'm in it for the long haul.

8:31Jason Moore:Same with Henderson. It's got to be really bad. It's got to start where you're like, I made a mistake. And I think that could happen with Jeremiah Love where you come out the gates and week one, he gets 10 touches and you're like, oh no, what did I do with this early pick? I do fully expect by the end of the year for Jeremiah Love to be dominant. So if you could trade for him a month into the season because expectations have been low or something like that. But we discussed him more in detail if you want to go back to Thursday's episode.

9:02Mike Wright:The name I brought up, a player you won't target in the draft but you might trade for later on, is Jordan Tyson. Wide receiver for the Saints for a myriad of reasons. I mean, one, I just feel like there's a lot of question marks in New Orleans in general. I'm not as convinced as Mike is, and I don't know if Jason's in that camp, that Shuck will work out to the degree that would support two wide receivers this year. I hope he does. I like the player. I'm not positive. I'm not positive that Jordan Tyson is healthy. I'm not positive that Chris Olave is going to be healthy, but if he is and he's out there and he's the one, can Jordan Tyson be enough on the other side?

9:38Mike Wright:Maybe. So there's a lot of maybes here, and then rookie wide receivers also take some time to get going as well. So I feel like if I see some signs at the beginning of the season, especially like they start against a couple of really difficult opponents. I mean, talk about Tyler Shuck. You're probably not looking good after two weeks. Detroit-Baltimore to start on the road in both, seven-point underdogs in both, then it gets easier. But I just feel like Tyson's definitely not somebody I'm looking to take in drafts. I do like taking rookie wide receivers late if they fall to me and they're out of value, but I'm not targeting Tyson in particular.

10:15Jason Moore:Yeah, I think that's fair. two other names just to throw out we we discussed them recently but the the tight ends coming off of injuries the the Kittle sure and and Kraft is it's gonna be harder though it is because everyone's gonna be in on that strat sure but I mean trade for or maybe even pick off off of waivers there's there's a world that exists where if they get off to a really bad start you just you can't keep those guys in your starting lineup if it looks like they're not great but if that happens and they are either on the trade you know they're they're you know on the trade board or they're hitting waivers I will pick them up I expect both to have good second half of the year good second halves

11:00Mike Wright:of the year close enough yeah we'll just go with it um yeah both of those guys I think are gonna get we're gonna get steamed up we're gonna get excited yeah they'll get because what they represent i think they'll be drafted and if they're drafted they'll be drafted by people that want to hold on to them and play them when they get better so maybe home leagues um i think we're going to take a quick break now so we're under uninterrupted in our mock draft for a while so uh we'll do that and jump right in

11:29Mike Wright:what's up foot clan you are confident and disciplined and focused on details just like everyone here at the fancy footballers right those are words you've used to describe us in other words, you were made to drive the 2026 Sierra 1500 Denali, a full-size pickup combining capability with elevated design and advanced technology. Football's on ESPN.

12:58Let's do it.

13:01Jason Moore:The Fantasy Footballers Mock Draft.

13:08Mike Wright:Okay, here we go. We're doing a 12-team half PPR with three starting wide receivers today. So the roster will be a quarterback, two running backs, three wides, one tight end, one flex, four bench spots. We have the three of us. Jason's at five in the draft. Mike is at seven. I'm at 11. These were randomly assigned. We also have Julia, Kyle, Matt, Jeremy, Brittany, Kurt, Brooks, Betts, and Josh drafting with us today. And we'll jump right in because, you know, the three-wide strategy as we get this thing kicked off. Jamar Chasen's up going number one, followed by Jameer Gibbs, Puka Nakua, and Bijan Robinson.

13:54Mike Wright:So we go wide receiver running back, back and forth. Jason is the first of the three of us on the clock here. it is three wide what are your considerations at the moment in a three wide I'm if you're

14:07Jason Moore:at the five six spot you're you've got the opportunity to take one of these guys Amon Ra uh CeeDee Lamb or the the pick that will be for most people uh JSN last year's you know number one wide receiver I'll take uh JSN here getting a stud in a guaranteed three wide this This is one of those formats where if you're playing three wide plus a flex, we talked about this on a recent episode, the statistics just say you need a lot more wide receivers on your roster once you get to the flex. However, in some of those leagues when you start that heavy, you're still going to have to have depth at running back.

14:46Jason Moore:So we'll see how it plays out.

14:48Mike Wright:Jason to Jason at number five overall. Amon Ross St. Brown goes at six. Mike is on the board. Are you already in a tough situation here?

Read the full transcript

14:58Andy Holloway:I was hoping that Amin Ra would drop because at the running back, it's Taylor, McCaffrey, Cook. Are they strong and secure enough when I need the wide receiver position? I'm going to take Cee Lamb. I'm going to try my build out here. I feel like where I am in the draft if I take the running back I'm going to

15:25Mike Wright:You'll be a tier down at wide receiver you're unhappy with

15:28Andy Holloway:But that's why you mock draft because we'll find out

15:31Mike Wright:Yeah I'm actually kind of excited to be at 111 I haven't drafted this late in any of our mocks yet Assuming I get a quick turn if I want to split this and give myself flexibility going into the third and fourth round I can do that Jonathan Taylor is still on the board Devon Achan is still on the board in terms of the wide receiver tiers. I see a tear break there. I mean, A.J. Brown, I love. I think he belongs at the tippy top of these drafts. But then I see it, you know, him and Drake London are kind of the end of that tier. Maybe Nico Collins is in it. But beyond that, the names are just a step down to me.

16:09Mike Wright:So I am going to pull the trigger. I'm happy with Taylor. I'm happy with HN. I'm happy with James Cook. So you at least get one. I'm going to get one of those guys. I'm actually going to do this, though. I'm going to pull the trigger on A.J. Brown in the first. To me, he is just going to be a target monster there. And I'm hoping to acquire him in every league I can before everyone catches up to how good it's going to be.

16:34Jason Moore:I completely agree with you.

16:35Mike Wright:Yeah, I think it's going to be great. It may not be more than a year, but I think it's going to be great this year. Drake London and Jonathan Taylor go next, which is great. I mean, I think being at 12 there and getting London and Taylor is perfect um are we half ppr yes man i do love devon a chan james cook has been a machine he's he's this is a player versus team situation decision i'm gonna take james cook um i saw some offensive line ratings this morning and uh you know devon a chan chase brown those guys are dealing with bottom five offensive lines. So I will take the offense that has run through James Cook for a number of years and go James Cook to pair with A.J.

17:25Mike Wright:Brown. So I'll just stay in the AFC East. Omari and Hampton goes next. In fact, we have not seen A. Chan off the board yet.

17:34Andy Holloway:Oh, man.

17:35Mike Wright:Hampton at 2.03, Devontae Smith at 2.04, and then Ashton Gentry goes at 2.05. So Kurt taking two running backs. Same thing Betts did. scooping up value I think is the perspective there when you are in a three wide and some wide receivers are going earlier they're grabbing what they think are tear breaks at running back but Mike you're on the clock you have to stare down the two names I just said which is funny Devon H. Ann and Chase Brown who you believe in Chase Brown a ton H.

18:03Andy Holloway:Ann Chase Brown Kenneth

18:04Mike Wright:Walker all being there oh man how does a man choose the real I don't know choice here is

18:12Andy Holloway:Sophia because we're adding a third name in here uh and at the wide receiver position Nico's there

18:21Andy Holloway:Olave go George just go full D-gaff and just get the Dallas Cowboys

18:26Jason Moore:um I will snipe Dak from you we get to where it's going to not let you get down third round

18:33Mike Wright:there are players that like Mike actively hates other people drafting because he didn't get to draft them.

18:40Andy Holloway:Yeah, that is. And they're all sitting right here. That is true. A-chan being there is really

18:48Mike Wright:a wrench in the... That is such the easy pick for me if I'm in your situation. Yeah. But I feel like you feel like you're betraying Chase Brown somehow by doing that.

18:58Andy Holloway:I do also feel like that, but I'm going to take A-chan.

19:02Mike Wright:I mean, that is a great start. Lamb and A-chan. Chase Brown does go next.

19:06Andy Holloway:Yes.

19:08Mike Wright:The full Brown team for Amonra and Chase Brown.

19:12Jason Moore:I was very much wanting one of those two guys. I think there's a huge tier break here. I know, Mike, you might disagree. You might put Kenneth Walker in that tier. I don't have Kenneth Walker as bullishly as a running back one. So there's a tier break here to the rest of my running backs, and I feel like there's one wide receiver left in his own tier in Nico Collins. So I'm going to actually take Nico, and we'll start this without a running back in the first two rounds. Something I don't usually enjoy doing, but in a three wide receiver league, we'll see how that pans out at the end.

19:47Mike Wright:All right, so Jason goes with Nico with JSN, putting Al Borland back on the clock where Pickens finally goes. Mike can shed a tear. Yeah, that's all right. But in the second round.

19:59Andy Holloway:Oh, Kyle.

20:01Mike Wright:Kyle went Ken Walker. High T. Three wide receivers. Three teams went two running backs. I mean, I don't mind that at all. Running backs, like the numbers we brought up the other day can be discussed in various ways to me. You get 30, you know, you have, I think we were saying, you know, 96 wide receivers on the field for the majority of the time. You get 32 running backs on the field. To me, it's like it is much, much, much easier to find wide receivers that give you value. It's much, much harder to find running backs to give you value later in the draft, so I don't mind loading up on that. Pickens goes, then Bowers, Ken Walker, and Derrick Henry.

20:40Mike Wright:I thought Jason was going to take Derrick Henry, honestly. That's what I thought was going to happen. So through two rounds, I've got Amon Ross, St. Brown, and James Cook, Mike with C.D. Lamb and HN, Jason with JSN and Nico. Third round starts with Tett McMillan at the 301. T. Higgins, Jeremiah Love, and Chris Olave go next, putting Jason back on the clock.

21:00Jason Moore:This is a pretty easy situation for me. Now that I started wide receiver, wide receiver, have two studs there. I feel like there's two running backs that I really love that are on the board. So it's just a matter of – I know their names. It's Josh Jacobs and Kyron Williams. Both of those guys are great. They score a ton of fantasy points. They're goal line backs. They catch the ball. They're on good offenses. I'm going to take Josh Jacobs. There's obviously the question marks about his legal stuff. If that doesn't exist – and from my understanding, what I've researched, I am not genuinely fearful of it.

21:32Jason Moore:I don't think there's going to be any suspension coming. If we knew for sure that there was no suspension coming, Josh Jacobs is just. I mean, he is pretty much guaranteed to be a top 10 back, assuming health. And to get that in the third round after two stud wide receivers, I'll take that gamble.

21:50Mike Wright:All right, Mike, you're on the clock. Kyron went right after.

21:55Andy Holloway:I mean, let's just, hey, let's keep the legal troubles going, guys. Good stuff. I'm going to take Rasheed Rice. I was, when HN messed up the plan, I was going to take Rice right there. In the second? In the second round, because I think that his situation is also, the NFL is just going to let it go, let it keep playing out. Look, it's disgusting.

22:23Mike Wright:Oh, come on, Betts.

22:25Andy Holloway:You had two running backs. C.D. Lamb, HN Rice, I'm very happy with that.

22:31Mike Wright:All right, so here's the play-by-play, and I'm going to write his name down on a list to see if we can take a paycheck away or something. Rashi Rice, Malik Nabors, Javante Williams, and then Betts is on the clock before me, and he's got Barkley and Hampton. So to me, it's like... Needs a wide receiver. He's just going for wide receiver, and I'm watching McBride drop almost, you know, what? Almost a full round behind Brock Bowers. I'm thinking that's a great value. I've got the quick turn. And he took my bride. He took my bride. He took my bride, yes. All right, running back options that I have.

23:10Mike Wright:Brees Hall sitting there. I do like Brees as just a solidifier for an offense, but I don't – the names he's mixed up with, Travis Achan in New Orleans, Cam Scadaboo I like, that wide receiver, Garrett Wilson still sitting there. talk about the targets you're going to get between A.J. Brown and Garrett Wilson will be wild. So to me that is kind of like a more guaranteed production. Yeah. Targets? Yeah. I'll take Garrett Wilson there at the 311 and see what comes back to me. Abuka goes next to Papa Josh and he goes right back to a doonza. He goes double wide there. Leaves me with Brees Hall but the problem with Brees now is I've taken Garrett Wilson and I'm not a classic two jets.

23:57Mike Wright:I'm not a double jet situation. You will

23:59Andy Holloway:be rostering 85 % of the offense.

24:02Mike Wright:You know what I'm going to do? This is one of those tough situations where I'm at 11. You wait forever. There is zero chance that I get a top tier tight end if I don't make one pick right here. That's true. And it's a little sooner than I'd like to take them, but I believe so. Colston Loveland is going to be the pick.

24:24Andy Holloway:Oh, Mr. Loveland.

24:25Mike Wright:Because there's just no way I'm going to get him, and if you believe in somebody, sometimes you have to take him sooner if you're at the turn. So that's where I'm going to go. Betts is just... Mimosa morning. I mean... Mimosa morning. Zero wide receiver.

24:41Jason Moore:The classic strategy of zero, let's find out, in a three wide. Yeah, I think he wants airtime.

24:49Mike Wright:Taequann Barkley, Omari and Hampton, Trey McBride, and Bree Saul for Bettsy. In a three wide, I hope your wide receivers are terrible, but they probably won't be. A-Chan goes next, and Ladd McConkie, Mike, you're back on the clock. Lamb, Rashi Rice, and Devon A-Chan is the roster.

25:05Andy Holloway:Yeah, we got a tough one here because there is.

25:10Mike Wright:I feel like that's what you said every time.

25:11Andy Holloway:Well, because I'm getting hit with, like, players I really like, and I'm having to make the choice, and I know that the second one will not come back to me. There is the heart would like to draft Luther Burden here. I know the risk. I do think Jalen Waddle is underrated. I think he's going to get a very, very healthy dose of targets. And then there's the player who I just will always stand for, coming off of 1 ,200 yards and yet just is hated on this show. I will take Zay Flowers. I'm glad you did. I don't hate Zay Flowers. Yes, you do.

25:54Mike Wright:I don't. I just don't think he's the wide receiver seven. Neither do you.

25:59Andy Holloway:He's fine.

26:00Mike Wright:Mike doesn't believe he's the wide receiver seven either.

26:02Andy Holloway:He put up 1 ,200 yards. But to be fair. That's fine.

26:05Mike Wright:I didn't say he didn't. I didn't say he put up less yards.

26:07Jason Moore:It's Mike's third wide receiver in the fourth round. And so I think that's fair.

26:13Mike Wright:Oh, I don't mind the pick at all. I think Mike feels a loyalty to Zay Flowers because he was part of the roster that won him a double championship last year.

26:22Andy Holloway:I feel a loyalty to number one wide receivers with great quarterbacks who just put up 1 ,200 yards.

26:30Mike Wright:It's fair. Jalen Waddle goes next, Jason on the clock with JSN Nico and Josh Jacobs.

26:34Jason Moore:Yeah, there's two players here that I really, really want. It's tough to make that decision, but I think the way that running backs thin out, while there are still some good running backs on the board, I've got to take one. I love Cam Scadaboo. I'm going to take him. Really hit the boo that time. He did hit the boo hard. Scadaboo. Hey, boo-boo. So, yeah, Jason and Nico at wide receiver, Josh Jacobs and Cam Scadaboo. I am happy with the start.

27:04Mike Wright:Well, Tyler Warren goes next, so Al takes the shot on him. Top four tight end. Now, Jason, you shook your head. Was that dissatisfaction with Warren? No, no.

27:13Jason Moore:No, I think that's a great pick in the fourth round to get one of those top four tight ends.

27:19Mike Wright:All right. To round out the fourth, Luther Burden, Mike Evans, Quinshawn Judkins. We'll jump into the fifth after this.

28:43Mike Wright:All right, back into our three wide receiver 12-team mock draft with the three of us and the rest of the staff and writers here at the Fantasy Footballers. I'm drafting from the 11 spot, Mike from the 7 spot, Jason from the 5 spot, and we're into round 5. Jason has JSN, Nico Collins, Jacobs, and Scadaboo. Mike has Lamb, A-Chan, Rice, and Flowers. I'm with A.J. Brown, James Cook, Garrett Wilson, and Colson Loveland. And the fifth starts with Jamison Williams, Carnell Tate, who I was targeting for the end of this round. Thank you very much, Kyle. Travion Henderson and Bucky Irving going next. Jason, you are on the clock.

29:19Of note, no quarterbacks.

29:22Jason Moore:No, this is the spot. I said earlier there were two players I really, really wanted, and I didn't name the other player because know your league and I thought there was a chance he would come.

29:34Andy Holloway:Know your league and know that if you say the name while everyone is listening to you,

29:38Jason Moore:they might draft him. But my point is I think that Josh Allen is usually around pick 24. He is at the 2-3 turn. We're in the fifth round, and Josh Allen hasn't been taken. He's been a great pick for about five years in a row, no matter where he is, no matter how much he costs. You make the playoffs if you've got Josh Allen. Having him in the fifth round is delightful. I will do that. Oh, Brittany! If he's ever there in the fifth round, take Josh Allen.

30:05Mike Wright:Jason went with Josh Allen. Christian Watson goes next, so Mike doesn't get him.

30:10Andy Holloway:My sweet, sweet, precious Mr. Watson.

30:13Mike Wright:I feel like you ended up in great shape with the Nico pick, Jason, because Jacobs and Scadaboo are both. Yeah. I mean, obviously, Scadaboo has to be start-worthy from the jump, and I think he will be. But I think it's worked out really well for you to be able to steal Josh Allen in the fifth, who was certainly any of us in the fifth were going to think about that. but you end up getting him with, you know, like he went three picks after Carnell Tate. Right. It is three wide. Mike, you're on the clock.

30:41Andy Holloway:So Watson would have been. I think I know your pick.

30:44Mike Wright:I want to write it down.

30:46Andy Holloway:Okay.

30:46Mike Wright:I'm going to write it down because it's a pick I think.

30:49Andy Holloway:Watson was very much going to be in contention here. Not that I, I mean, I have my three starting wide receivers. We still have the flex. So I'm actually going to go look at the running back position. There's two players. do you have them both? Do you know who both of them are? I know who both of the players you're considering are. I do, too.

31:08Jason Moore:But I wrote down which one I think you're going to take. This is where we have to say them out loud, though, for our audience.

31:12Andy Holloway:Okay, well, I'm going to take the one of the two because I can't take both. I think you guys are going to have it just slightly backwards.

31:22Mike Wright:We did. I had Tootin. I did, too. He wrote fart down on his board. Well, it's a Tootin.

31:28Andy Holloway:It was between Basial Tootin and DeAndre Swift.

31:31Jason Moore:I want you to just realize you just drafted DeAndre Swift. Yes. Over a player that you think has breakout potential and that you've been pretty bullish on, and you took DeAndre Swift.

31:41Mike Wright:I kind of understand it from the side of second running back.

31:45Andy Holloway:I know. Guaranteed production. That Swift is the leader of the timeshare, at least in my belief. Sure. I firmly believe that Bayesol Tutin is the guy, but we still have training camp and months of summer to really find that out. So building the squad on this date in June, I'm going to take the starter for the Chicago Bears.

32:10Mike Wright:Well, you know, Kyle said I thought I knew who Mike was. Yeah, no. This is a testimony to changing your opinion if you need to. Had to. Yeah. Most of the guys I really wanted to drop in this round have been drafted. did uh mike went with swift followed by tootin who i might have pulled the trigger on and then mclaurin and davante adams go next i don't like i mean the running back position has thinned tremendously and there's one guy that i think is going to be good for 300 opportunities and we've talked about him recently so i'm going to pull the trigger on the running back before a wide receiver here and i'm going to take them opportunity david montgomery in the late fifth as a starter of a playoff team.

32:52Mike Wright:It's not sexy. He was highest on my board. But I mean, I'm looking at this and it's like Javante Williams went at 309, okay? Two rounds and two picks later you get David Montgomery. How certain are you that Javante has a better season than David Montgomery?

33:09Jason Moore:Not very certain.

33:10Mike Wright:You are very certain?

33:12Jason Moore:I think if you look at the Texans offense versus the Cowboys versus the Cowboys offense, you would expect the Cowboys to have a lot more scoring

33:20Mike Wright:opportunities you would um david montgomery jk dobbins goes at 512 i'm just happy that someone took him away from mike yeah i mean that's early for you josh early um and then he took drake may drake may goes second quarterback it's fine so i'm sitting here yeah it is to me yeah i mean he is

33:42Andy Holloway:he's uh okay i know it's not what you you have him at like qb 14 jason we know you don't like

33:48Mike Wright:This is a return to the beginning of the offseason.

33:50Jason Moore:No, no, no. Drake May is like my quarterback four. He is my quarterback four. But I'm still taking him over Lamar and taking him over Burrow.

34:01Mike Wright:Last year's QB three is okay to be taken at QB two in the sixth. That's fine. All right, I'm back on the clock. Quick turnaround and then a long wait, which is not my favorite. I'm not going to take another onesie here, so I'm really staring down the wide receiver position for upside an opportunity. I'm going to take a guy I truly believe will be a certifiable number one here, and there's no way he's coming all the way back to me. I'm taking Alec Pierce in the sixth round. I'm taking him ahead of Brian Thomas, taking him ahead of DJ Moore and Metcalf, and I'm securing a player I think will be a difference maker.

34:37Mike Wright:So Jordan Tyson does go next to Betsy, who begins to put together his wide receiver room with Devontae Adams and Jordan Tyson. So I don't know how you feel about that.

34:47Jason Moore:yet but um it has it still has upside his average the average age of his wide receivers are in their

34:55Mike Wright:prime that is true you know his average age is prime is prime uh jadarian price and dj more go next kurt taking dj more mike you're on the clock fresh off of a deandre swift selection yes and we

35:10Andy Holloway:will cleanse the pallets to a player i'd love even if there are the question marks but i've said but I'm throwing those into the wind. I'm taking Tucker Kraft. I'll tell you, I have him ranked aggressively. I think he's going to be good to go. Yes, probably better in the second half, but I think you're going to be okay for those first few weeks, even while he's getting acclimated.

35:37Mike Wright:Yeah, am I the only one that doesn't worry about acclimation for either of those guys? What do you mean? No. Zero percent of me cares about acclimation for Tucker Kraft and George Kittle. I drafted him in the sixth round. No, there's plenty of people there. Well, you said even if he starts off slow. I just don't believe. I think if they're on the field in week one, they will be themselves for week one, both of those guys.

35:56Jason Moore:Yeah, I mean, statistically speaking, like performance off of ACLs, there's a timeline where they're on the field and they're not at pre-ACL injury performance. Just statistically, that's not to say every human being is the same, and obviously this is a dog, but that is a normal thing. Go ask AP about it. Sure, yes. Generational Hall of Famer.

36:20Mike Wright:Yeah, from the timeline and how long... Yeah, we'll see. Brian Thomas goes next. Mike, Jason, you're back on the clock after the Josh Allen pick.

36:30Jason Moore:I'm going to continue to stand for a player that we don't like at all. And by we, I mean us and the entire world at this point. Wait, we don't like them and you're going to take them? You're going to stand for a player? Yeah, because I definitely think that...

36:45Mike Wright:Are you in the group that you're talking about? No. It doesn't like him?

36:48Jason Moore:It's me against the world. I think Marvin Harrison Jr. is the clear number one wide receiver target for the Cardinals. I mean, that's just how I believe the future will play out. So I'm going to take him here as my third wide receiver. Okay.

37:03Mike Wright:That means he's starting for you.

37:04Andy Holloway:There's the quarterbacks.

37:06Mike Wright:Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, and Jaden Daniels all go in sequential order here.

37:11Andy Holloway:Makes sense.

37:12Mike Wright:Panic in the streets. Parker Washington, Ramondre Stephenson.

37:15Andy Holloway:I don't even think that's panic. I think that's full just taking the value.

37:21Mike Wright:Yeah, just not confident they'll roll back through to the next pick here. No, they would not. Ramondre, Warren, and Hubbard reveal the running back tier we are now in.

37:34Jason Moore:Yeah, the running backs are thin.

37:38Mike Wright:That's why I grabbed Montgomery when I did because it went from Montgomery to Dobbins.

37:44Jason Moore:yeah for sure um i i still am pretty happy with my jacobs and scadaboo as my one two and then it's it's going to be thin i want more wide receivers for depth for flex in a three wide receiver um you still need a wide receiver three too no i've got three wide receivers no you need a third ah the marv joke well i will go ahead and put in i'm gonna yes it was i'm gonna grab a player a little ahead of ADP, but someone who's just being drafted so ridiculously low for a great offense, guaranteed on the field, has been pretty good in his career, high draft capital coming in. Quinton Johnston is going to be, I think he's a top 24 wide receiver this year.

38:29Jason Moore:Him and Ladd, to me, are not that different. I'm with you. I don't look at their outcome and their outlook this year as that drastically different. But if you look at where they're drafted, it's like a wide receiver one and a wide receiver four on the same team. Whereas we know that Quentin Johnson and two wide receiver sets is going to be on the field. And we're not even sure if that is.

38:53Mike Wright:Jalen Hurts, sixth quarterback off the board at 7.06 between your two picks. Quentin Johnson and Marvin Harrison, what a combo.

39:02Jason Moore:Thank you. I know.

39:05Mike Wright:I just meant it from a sentiment perspective. No, absolutely. That's just incredible. Mike, you're on the clock. You just took Kraft. You have two running backs, three wide, one onesie.

39:18Andy Holloway:This is where I run into some difficulty of, like, my highest ranked players for my personal projections are, like, we're starting to really get into the ADP discrepancy where, I would be reaching much lower into the ADP of players who they could make it back. So I only have the two running backs. Players available on the board. Monunguy is the top ADP. I don't want Swift and Monunguy. Pollard What do we even do? Tony Pollard is just like there. It's the worst offensive line in football. He's just there

40:00Jason Moore:man. It was the worst last year and didn't he have a thousand rushing yards he got it going at the end of the

40:07Mike Wright:year if i remember yeah there was nothing we really found redeemable from that season sure

40:12Jason Moore:but i mean it is funny the starter for an offense that could get better year two and like i yeah it's the same conversation for like just ran for a thousand 82 along with 33 receptions you know he was the running back 23 last year and we're and it's like we're talking about backups to the backups right now and then there's just pollard sitting there four seasons in a row he's had a thousand rushing yards oh man oh did i talk you know i mean if you're saying really good things wait four years four years in a row he's had a thousand rushing yards

40:46Mike Wright:what yeah i know yeah no no 1007 1005 1079 1082 what thank you nine touchdowns six five Tony P? Yeah. The attempts dropped from 260 to 242 last year, but he still had over 1 ,000 yards. So that means his yards per carry went up.

41:08Jason Moore:Really? Mm-hmm.

41:12Andy Holloway:Okay. Sure. Did he just take Tony Pollard? I did. I did. Hey, look, honestly, it was down between him and Rico Dowdle, who I'm not 100 % sure Rico's the starter or not. Tony Pollard will be. Oh, that's a gross one.

41:31Mike Wright:All right, Betsy gets to try to continue and assemble his wide receiver room. He goes Adams, Tyson, and now Addison. So there you go. I'm going to go ahead and pull the trigger here on – I wanted Carnell Tate maybe in the fifth. He didn't drop to me. I do kind of regret the Loveland pick seeing the landscape. Like, I would be fine with Fannin and Pitts here, or even Kittle in the seventh three rounds later, so I kind of regret that. But I will take another rookie, Makai Lemon in the seventh round. We'll see what happens there. Harold Fannin and Jonathan Brooks go next. Jonathan Brooks, congratulations.

42:13Mike Wright:You've been drafted.

42:14Jason Moore:it i have seen him going in i mean like the value of him in a dynasty league is above hubbard now yes it's he has skyrocketed this off season and redraft is still a bit lower but it's

42:32Andy Holloway:he's he's a wild card man i it could really really pay off oh matthew so he ends up going

42:40Mike Wright:by the way hubbard in this 703 drawn the brooks 801 which is wild i took a shot on my second pick here with jackson dart in the eighth round i think he was the last of well not the last of the group but some upside potential there maybe i'll pair him with somebody else later but godwin aaron jones and jacoby myers mike has tony pollard yeah and i that's just the end of my sentence i shouted

43:09Andy Holloway:Yeah, no, there's so many regrets here, everybody, because Matthew Betts took Chris Godwin, and I was recently talking to Kyle.

43:20Mike Wright:Oh, sorry. I'm really enjoying the play-by-play here in production channel. What did we get? I want people to understand what's about to happen.

43:27Andy Holloway:Please tell me what's going on.

43:30Mike Wright:Well, we have reattached the I-got-a-snake-man drop to Makai Lemon. Yes. Because he is kind of like a snake.

43:36Andy Holloway:Because he's serpentine.

43:37Mike Wright:but when we're doing a mock draft apparently he tried to hit that drop when I drafted Limit because he's a good producer I'm talking about Al Borman but he did it in like the wrong scene so it's just waiting to trigger

43:53Andy Holloway:so when he changes the scene

43:56Mike Wright:you're just going to get a random just get it out of the way so you set all that up I was wrong

44:04Jason Moore:now I can't find it

44:05Mike Wright:Oh, my God. You were just complimenting. I got a snake, man. Amazing moment. Wait, I'm really glad we aired that.

44:11Andy Holloway:Hold on, hold on.

44:12Mike Wright:Yeah, I'm glad I brought it up.

44:13Andy Holloway:Play that again. So why is the ball moving? I got a snake, man. That's not your best work out there. Why is the ball rocking back and forth?

44:23Jason Moore:Well, it's because the whole player is.

44:25Mike Wright:That looked like a hot swap situation. Yeah. Is that the third snake player, Blake Bortles? He spent. Spencer Rattler and now Makai Lemon? Yeah. Seconds working on that, guys. That was seconds worth of.

44:36Andy Holloway:Goodness, Brian. Anyways, talking to Kyle about Chris Godwin. So disappointed. And it feels bad. It feels gross. Oh, what a gross combo. Chris Godwin. Pollard and Godwin? Well, I can't take Godwin now.

44:52Mike Wright:Oh, he went. Yes. Good for you.

44:54Andy Holloway:My point is. Good for you. Is people are going to be mad how productive Chris Godwin is. Like the gap between Chris Godwin and Ibuka in ADP.

45:06Mike Wright:Not appropriate.

45:07Andy Holloway:I don't think so. 3-12 and 8-0-3 in this month. It's appropriate because it should make sense. That former first-round pick, now thrust into what we perceive to be the number one option. But Chris Godwin is just here to ruin that party.

45:22Mike Wright:So when he returned last year, Godwin had his receptions, 2-3, 5-4, 5-7, and 1.

45:28Andy Holloway:How did Ibuka do in that time?

45:30Mike Wright:we don't talk about okay we don't talk about a second half that's the points is another year worse than that but i that whole situation is going to be very interesting i think abuka takes a step forward i do i think godwin is more productive than we think he'll be yes and i think that the other guys mcmillan and otten and hurst and you know tez johnson are gonna just the ball's gonna get spread around a little bit there and we'll be surprised week to week yeah I mean Betts is pointing out Godwin wasn't healthy at all last year correct which that has been I mean that's pretty normal for him yeah as you say that's a pretty regular concern for Godwin I mean he didn't miss he missed the entirety uh the back half of 2024 came back for two games and then got hurt again last year I mean we haven't had a 2022 he missed two games he played a full 2023 so we're going it's been a while Mike you're back on the clock Pollard and we got five picks left so we got to get all right we'll get moving uh this is the time

46:27Andy Holloway:of the draft where I need to take a Washington running back I'll just take Bill can I hit the drop is that okay we don't know all right that's not just gonna like happen again later now audio ones are fine it's not video ones that get screwed up he called himself out on a mistake that didn't

46:44Jason Moore:even happen yeah it was gonna be great yeah keep those under wraps brother yeah I thought I was I'm excited for a surprise. In a private channel.

46:55Mike Wright:It's funny because I think my whole thought process, I'm doing you a favor setting this up to be a funny moment. And I didn't. I let you down.

47:03Andy Holloway:You didn't screw up enough.

47:05Mike Wright:I mean, that's – Jason, you're on the clock. Marvin Harrison, Quentin Johnson were your last two picks.

47:09Jason Moore:Yeah, Bill and Dowdle were on the board, but I would have taken this player over both of them. I'm going to take Kenny Gainwell. Okay. I think he's involved and playable from week one, but obviously if something happens—

47:22Mike Wright:Involved and playable is the highlight of his career.

47:24Jason Moore:Yeah, but if something happens to the smaller, undersized leader of the timeshare who's already been dealing with injuries in Bucky, then I think Kenny Gainwell has a really great season.

47:40Mike Wright:Well, Al was too busy fixing stuff to make his pick there. Blake Corham finally goes off the board. Oh, darn it, Kyle. And then Cortland Sutton and Josh Downs go off the board. Downs two rounds after Alec Pierce in this draft. George Kittle, a great pick at 8-12 by Julia. I love that pick. And then we've got Rashad White, who I was just staring at, and disappeared off the board with the first pick of the ninth round. So, Al, you were waiting on Downs.

48:10Andy Holloway:I was trying to decide between Corum and Downs, which one would get back to me, and I chose wrong, apparently.

48:15Mike Wright:Pittman and Pierce all go next, and Al has got to settle on somebody else before Jason is on the clock. Jason, you're four wideouts, Jason, Nico, Harrison, and Quinton Johnston, your three running backs, Jacob, Scadaboo, and Gainwell, with Josh Allen a steal in the fifth. He is still deciding. Yeah, I'm going to wait until I know who I can pick. Al is panicking here.

48:38Andy Holloway:I was trying to find somebody, but I'd swear he wasn't drafted.

48:41Mike Wright:Buck Irving was already taken. I'm sorry.

48:43Andy Holloway:Yeah, I was looking for Michael Pittman.

48:44Mike Wright:I didn't see him go just there.

48:46Andy Holloway:Two picks ago. Well, then.

48:50Mike Wright:So this would have been one of those fun situations.

48:52Jason Moore:This is where he's going to clearly just take my guy. He has no idea. He's going to say, I'll just take this guy. I don't think so. Wondell was the guy I wanted. Oh, perfect.

49:00Mike Wright:You took Wondell Robinson. Jason, did you really?

49:03Jason Moore:Yeah. Yeah. I figured with the way that my team is laid out with Marv and Quentin Johnston being, I believe in them, but they are question marks. and so I wanted a little bit more solid just possession-type receiver. I think he would have fit well, but since Wondell is gone, I'm going to say let me just keep going for upside, and I will take Matthew Golden. Hopefully at this point in time you expect him to be on the field in those two wide receiver sets. If he could just be good.

49:32Mike Wright:Oh, the volume was really intense right there.

49:35Jason Moore:Yeah, it's very golden.

49:37Mike Wright:Mike, you're back on the clock. Pollard and Ja 'Cory Krosky merit your last two picks. You have Swift and Achan with them. Flowers, Rice, and Lamb haven't taken a wide receiver in a bunch of rounds.

49:46Andy Holloway:I cannot express how much I hate that Tony Pollard pick. I think it was a good pick. No, I hate it. I hate it so much. It really – I was vibing and feeling great about every pick. And now we're just derailed. I'm glad I talked you into it. Yeah. So I need a wide receiver. I'm going to take the guy who got he got a bag of money he's got Drake May I'm going Romeo Dobbs of course

50:15Mike Wright:I was going to say nobody deserves Dobbs more than you do so you pick one up after the lamb rice flowers situation to start your draft okay so this round all I wanted was one of Matthew Golden and Jaden Reed they're both now gone oh and then RJ Harvey was next up on the list and he has gone to bets RJ Harvey in the ninth is insane

50:37Andy Holloway:this is upside down for what your drafts at home will look like. Insane. This is everybody being afraid of. I know. He's still drafted way too early. Mike's wrath.

50:47Mike Wright:I thought I'd take R.J. Harvey at 9. R.J. Harvey at the 9th is perfectly fine. I'm going to take Zach Charbonnet at 9-11. Okay. So, you know, the team has every plan for him to still be heavily involved. Price will get off to a good start. We'll see what Charbonnet's second half will look like. Jaden Higgins and Travis Hunter go next. Interesting. yeah i mean we are we are really getting thin here at the power positions i'm staring down more wide receivers to add to a three wide receiver roster and i'm not liking what i'm seeing i mean khalil shakir is an option jalen coker just got paid jalen coker's good dicks could get put on a roster and matter at running back there's just not a lot of big names.

51:37Mike Wright:Jordan Mason's sitting there. That's sort of interesting, but I just took a running back. I've already got my onesies figured out, so I think I'm going to actually take a shot on Antonio Williams.

51:46Jason Moore:Oh, that was daggummit. He would not have made it past me. He is the last one out there that was – I was trying to get you to take Jalen Coker just so that I could get Antonio Williams.

51:56Mike Wright:Doing the mock draft together where you share all of your thoughts is very funny. well it makes me happy that two people groaned after the pick so Antonio Williams is the selection

52:05Jason Moore:that's the rookie wide receiver for the commanders who as of right now without with Brandon Ayuk going crazy and not having a team kind of you expect Antonio Williams to be the wide receiver

52:18Mike Wright:too yeah we'll see what he can do Herbert Worthy Jonah Coleman Mike back on the clock again I want to remind you Mike you did draft Tony Pollard I know I know seventh round if you didn't point that

52:29Andy Holloway:out each side is on the clock. I still hate it. I still hate it. Man, wanting to find some upside here because it's like Shakir.

52:40Mike Wright:Are you thinking quarterback at all? Is there one or two names that you think are like difference makers? Like you love Caleb. Caleb's sitting here in the 10th, not the 6th.

52:48Andy Holloway:The thing about the quarterback position is, I mean, unless these nerds going back in. There's one team without a quarterback. Between this pick and your next pick.

53:01Mike Wright:So if I didn't bring it up, you were in better shape.

53:04Andy Holloway:Well, I wasn't because Caleb is there. Trevor is there. Dak, my stack quarterback, is there. Brock Purdy, I love him.

53:12Mike Wright:I just wondered with the too hot to handle discussion we had last week whether Caleb was in a different tier for you. Because you could take him. I mean, when you look at replacement value at other positions here, we're not having great discussions. You know, at the end of the day, if you're...

53:28Andy Holloway:No, you're just... I would just be shooting upside here. Let me put it this way.

53:31Mike Wright:Give me a name that you would shoot upside with at wide receiver right now because I want to hear the name.

53:37Andy Holloway:It's disgusting, but it's Denzel Boston.

53:40Mike Wright:Okay, so it is disgusting, yes. It is Denzel Boston. You're telling me one week into the season you're not trading Denzel Boston for Caleb Williams if that was a trade offer that's out there? that is a very good way to think about it i mean to me it's like what is the probability of like there's a chance that caleb is top five quarterback i mean we we put the odds somewhat reasonable yes right last thursday just throwing it out there i'm not trying to

54:06Jason Moore:would you take caleb williams over deck like it right now i know adp wise caleb williams goes

54:11Andy Holloway:right that's what i assume because you've got cd lamb yeah i'd rather have the stack overtaking.

54:19Mike Wright:But even that, then, you would trade Denzel Boston for the stack.

54:23Andy Holloway:You're saying, are you trying to protect me so I just take Dak here? Fine. I was. I'll be bullied into it. I'll be bullied into a good, safe pick.

54:30Mike Wright:It was a logical argument I was trying to make where we are at a level where, do you want Dak or Coker? Do you want to guarantee the stack or Coker?

54:39Andy Holloway:It's a good point of it's not a competition to see who can get their quarterback last. Right. Right. Because you got close anyway. Because, I mean, on this run, someone might take a QB2.

54:52Mike Wright:Well, and the one team that doesn't have a quarterback is, I mean, we have several, but one of them is sitting at the last pick of the round. Yeah. And they get two picks. So there's a decent chance that one of them goes. I bet you Caleb goes at 10-12 or 11-01. But Jason, you're back on the clock.

55:08Jason Moore:Yeah, I absolutely love the pick I'm about to make, and it's so funny because I... I love my pick. No, you're going to love it because I have said I would never draft him. Oh, my gosh. I would never draft him because of where he goes in draft. Of course I'm taking Sam Laporta. It's the 10th round. Of course I'm taking Sam Laporta. My argument has never been Sam Laporta's bad. He's not good to be. It's like why am I spinning a sixth rounder? The guys that I'm sacrificing a tight end now in the 10th, it's all just crap shoots.

55:37Mike Wright:No, everything you said makes sense, including the part where you're like, it's not like I've said Sam Laporta's bad. although you have done every you're really you've gotten really close to saying that out loud he has written us letters you have gotten really close to saying sam laporte is bad so i have you said

55:52Jason Moore:it with your eyes i have made it work because now everyone in this group is afraid to draft sam

55:57Mike Wright:laporte and they gifted him to me in the 10th round well the thing i like about that is you have a starting tight end every week and that is not the ness that's not necessarily what you get in the 10th round. That being said, if you look at this, are you happy you did that or would you have been happier with Kyle Pitts in the ninth round and then coming back and taking another shot at wide receiver here?

56:20Jason Moore:No, Matthew Golden and Sam Laporta is much better to me than, say, Kyle Pitts and Jalen Coker, the alternative option I could have gone.

56:30Mike Wright:Caleb does go at the end of the round. Mason, Searod, Boston, Caleb, Diggs, Pacheco, McMillan, Shakir. Jason has got his onesies. He can choose whatever he wants here. Two picks left in this wild mock draft.

56:46Jason Moore:I've got five wide receivers already and three running backs. I'm going to go ahead and take Mike Washington here, the rookie for the Raiders behind Gentey. Hopefully maybe he's either involved or he's just a good insurance option.

57:00Mike Wright:I'm surprised you didn't go Algier then.

57:02Jason Moore:uh i mean that's i don't i don't think love gets enough work to get injured you know i mean like uh anyone could get injured on any play but i the the workload that you expect coming to genti just more opportunity for sadness mike you're back on the clock two picks remain so

57:24Andy Holloway:i'm looking at rookie wide receivers hilariously a name perhaps omar cooper has not been mentioned on this podcast since the actual draft uh he was drafted in the first round that's it's by an nfl team it's wild to be like i'm not gonna draft him i'm just pointing out the name should be that omar cooper first round wide receiver is here yeah and he could be selected it's just the the situation is so i don't have any problem with that pick i mean this is my

57:58Mike Wright:actual philosophy like my last two wide receiver picks were mckay lemon and antonio williams and i will say this and it won't happen but if omar cooper is there at 11 11 he will be my pick

58:09Andy Holloway:no question okay well then i'm gonna let that happen uh zachari branch falcons he's he's interesting i feel like he's probably doesn't have a ton of upside jeremy bernard a second round pick does he see 40 targets this year with DK Metcalf and uh Michael Pittman on that team we're gonna swing we're gonna swing a heavy bat here uh we're gonna go with Ted Hurst oh I like it

58:38Mike Wright:so yeah that's that's interesting because when you didn't go Omar Cooper first down wide receiver you then your brain pivoted to two other rookie wide receivers in Zachariah Branch and Ted.

58:48Andy Holloway:Well, I was only going through rookies of like, who do I think can make a splash immediately? And I have Hurst on that list.

58:57Mike Wright:Alright, so Trevor Lawrence does go next to Kurt. I was thinking about taking Trevor Lawrence with my next pick. Trevor Lawrence there is absurd. Omar Cooper goes at 11-10 because Betts can't be in these drafts anymore. I mean,

59:10Andy Holloway:frankly, Betts is living. He's living to just... He's told me, he's like, dude, there's no one I love more on this earth than Omar Cooper.

59:17Mike Wright:He has got a drinking game he is trying to fulfill with his roster here. And so, look, it's late. I want another wide receiver, and I really wouldn't mind an insurance policy on Jackson Dart, which seems crazy. But that's how I'm thinking about him. So I'm actually going to pull the trigger on a player I believe in. I'll take Bo Nix. I'll be the only one taking a double up here.

59:44Jason Moore:I actually really like the Jackson Dart-Bo Nix combo. You figure between those two, you're going to have one, you could play matchups and stream between the two because I think they're both going to be good. But you've got two shots of one of the potential breakout quarterbacks actually hitting.

1:00:01Mike Wright:Well, we got another combo that just happened. I went Bo next and then Bigsby and Camaro went next. I took Tyreek Hill with my final pick. Rumors of Philadelphia. We'll see. Patrick Mahomes goes next. so Betsy has Herbert and Mahomes as his combo. Purdy as the quarterback one for Brooks with the final pick of his draft. Oconquo.

1:00:26Andy Holloway:Oconquo is where I thought Kyle would take Oconquo where he took Pacheco. I wonder if he has any regrets on that one.

1:00:34Mike Wright:Don't we have Oconquo drop? Oh, yeah.

1:00:37Andy Holloway:Oh, oh, oh. Yeah. Oh, yeah, no. I'm just thinking we might need to warm it up for the season. Yeah, Kyle, you made your own Tony Pollard pick.

1:00:47Jason Moore:I will say this because you just brought his name up, but Isaiah Pacheco, I know that no one is excited for him. He looked so bad last year, but he's being underdrafted right now. Dave Montgomery's gone. He is currently on a great offense.

1:01:01Mike Wright:A running offense.

1:01:03Jason Moore:A running offense, and obviously as an insurance option, Pacheco is going behind some running backs that are like –

1:01:09Mike Wright:It's actually a gift to the Gibbs manager because there's just – I don't know how many people are going to pull the trigger on him. Right. No, no one wants him. He's in the completely, like, I think people would take Tank Bigsby ahead of Pacheco.

1:01:22Andy Holloway:Oh, Bigsby went after.

1:01:24Mike Wright:Who got slime back there?

1:01:25Andy Holloway:I don't know. Who was it? It was Josh's production computer. No, it was everybody. It's all three of you guys. What is happening here?

1:01:32Mike Wright:First, you promised me a random snake drop. Which we didn't get. Which we didn't get. Then you unmute yourself back there, which, by the way, before every show, Al Borland's So I was like, mute yourself, mute yourself.

1:01:44Andy Holloway:My laptop's muted, but the production computer was not.

1:01:48Mike Wright:Partial credit.

1:01:49Andy Holloway:Okay. Hitman, you're up. Final pick of the draft. Another name that has possibly not been said on this podcast since the NFL draft, because it felt when he was drafted, we went, huh? Well, that's all right. He plays for San Francisco. I thought you were about to draft Carson.

1:02:07Mike Wright:Oh, I love this pick. De 'Juan Shribling.

1:02:09Andy Holloway:I love this pick. And honestly, the underlying beat report stuff has been positive. Yes, it has. So I'll take a chance on two rookies here.

1:02:18Jason Moore:The draft Twitter community didn't know Stribling, and so because he was overdrafted, everyone's like, oh, you must suck.

1:02:24Mike Wright:He's a second-round pick going to a team that – I should believe in him if I don't think Evans can stay healthy there. Yeah, absolutely.

1:02:31Jason Moore:I'm going to take a pick that this is as much just for emotional support and belief in this player as possible. Former, recent, my guy. Oh, no. Give me Tank Dell. I'm going to take that shot. Maybe he's healthy. Maybe he gets back on the field. This is my last pick. I'll swing for the fences here. He was great until the devastating injury. But he's past it now. He's out there.

1:02:59Mike Wright:I don't know if you can get past that one, to be honest with you. I don't know if he's past it. That's a you just have it.

1:03:08Mike Wright:We finished. Oh, my. The Marlon Mack pick? Marlon Mack.

1:03:14Andy Holloway:How does this impact Marlon Mack? That was a good time.

1:03:19Mike Wright:Mark Andrews goes.

1:03:19Andy Holloway:You are an idiot.

1:03:22Mike Wright:How do you really feel? Final rundown of the rosters. My wide receivers, A.J. Brown, Garrett Wilson, Alec Pierce, Makai Lemon, Antonio Williams and Tyreek Hill. I felt great about those. James Cook and David Montgomery and Zach Charbonne at running back. I'm going to be thin there. Loveland at tight end Jackson Dart and Bo Nix at quarterback I feel I hadn't drafted at the back half of a draft yet the three wide kind of changed my expectations a little bit but I feel okay about it Mike so I got

1:03:52Andy Holloway:CeeDee Lamb where she rises a flowers Romeo Dobbs and then a couple of rookies Ted Hurst and DeJuan Stribling running backs are Devon HN DeAndre Swift Tony Pollard and Bill Krosky Merritt. I got Tucker Kraft and Dak as my onesies.

1:04:10Jason Moore:I'm pretty happy with how my team turned out. Josh Allen and Sam Laporta at the onesies. I've got JSN, Nico Collins, Marvin Harrison, Quinton Johnston, Matthew Golden, and Tank Dell at wide receiver. And at running back, Josh Jacobs, Cam Scadaboo, Keeney Gainwell, Keeney Gainwell, and Mike Washington. All right.
