In short

Week 14 fantasy football “Studs & Duds,” plus injuries and roster-impact news for the fantasy playoffs.

Guests

No guests. Hosts are Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.

Guest/host backgrounds (from episode context): Andy, Jason, and Mike are long-running fantasy football analysts (“Fantasy Footballers Podcast”) who track league standings, waiver/bench decisions, and weekly player performance.

Key claims

  • Emeka Egbuka is a major disappointment: 9 targets, only 2 catches, 15 yards, and multiple “drop of all drops” moments; the offense has fallen apart since earlier success.
  • Daniel Jones tore his Achilles, likely ending his season; Colts QB situation becomes Riley Leonard.
  • Anthony Richardson is on IR; Colts QB change is bad for Jonathan Taylor and Alec Pierce, though garbage-time Michael Pittman targets still matter.
  • Studs: Josh Allen, Shadour Sanders, Joe Burrow, Matthew Stafford, Sam Darnold; tight ends (Harold Fannin, Gasicki, Josh Oliver) were key.

Notable examples

  • “Ibuka” drop in the end zone; “gloves” joke (Egbuka glove changes).
  • Colts blowout: Pittman repeatedly targeted on short throws.
  • Stud Muffins: Allen’s big week; Sanders’ 364-3; Burrow’s 284-4; Stafford 281-3.

1:11Jason Moore:Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.

1:27Mike Wright:Oh, welcome in.

1:38Mike Wright:Monday, December 8th. The Fantasy Footballers Podcast. Mike Wright, Jason Moore, Andy Holloway. Back in the building, a Monday episode. we have one game left till your fantasy playoffs but we're a year-round show so you hang around with us and we keep talking about football yes it's never too soon i you know we're all monitoring all of our leagues and some of us are fighting for the last spot in a couple of leagues and you know i was in the playoffs in the listener league

2:17Jason Moore:Yes. Going into last week, you were a current playoff team. If the season ended in the listener league last week, you're in the playoffs.

2:27Mike Wright:So I'm like, what is my job this week? You just got to go 2-0. Just go 2-0. We got the median in there. I just need to go 2-0. Did you go 2-0? Easily. Boom. Playoffs. Playoffs. Except not. Huh? Except not because somebody behind me scored like more points than the system allows. Than reasonable? Like an unreasonable amount of points? me in points because we had the same record so now i'm sweating it tonight i think i need uh i still got a good shot okay what's your situation i need um one of the teams ahead of me went oh and two and so they're going to tie me in record and they did not score many points that makes sense so they need lad mcconkey to score like 17 so you're anti-lad i'm anti-lad okay and then i think we'll all three be we'll be three of the six spots in the listener league playoffs that gives people

3:14Jason Moore:if one of us is the champ, then that's a whole other spot open and available for next year's listener league.

3:20Mike Wright:That's it. That's it right there. And I think Jason, you're in kind of a fight in one of our leagues trying to grab that last spot. There were like eight or nine teams at seven and six or six and seven in this league. The most parody ever.

3:32Jason Moore:Yeah. The, the, the league we play with Rich Eisen, that is the weird, the whole season, like all of the league was tied. Everyone's record felt like the exact same i'm like my team is really really good yeah and i'm the same record as half the people in the playoffs but i i don't think i will get there in that one if people

3:52Andy Holloway:want to join us in rooting against rich eisen oh yeah oh yeah look simultaneously great friend and arch nemesis right terrible man of the show just the worst oh wait we're going we're going personal. Because we love Eisen. We can do this. I have Kuge and A.J. Brown, and they will be facing off against Ladd. Andy's anti-Lad, and I have my two guys versus Ladd. It's just a heads up. Whoever scores more points will win. Oh, and it'll bounce him from the playoffs? If Ladd does not outscore those two guys, then

4:26Jason Moore:I can't get in the playoffs if Eisen's in. Right? So I need you to boot him so I can get in.

4:32Mike Wright:So we're all really anti-Lad tonight. Sounds so. Your little lad is... That hurts.

4:39Jason Moore:My little bitty lad. That hurts.

4:41Mike Wright:We have our reactions to the weekend. There were some injuries that are going to have ramifications into the fantasy playoffs.

4:47Andy Holloway:Dude, I was having such a good morning, I totally forgot about it. Yeah, I had wiped those out.

4:53Mike Wright:Genuinely, is it worse right now to be a Cardinals fan where we know... We're so used to living inside of the poop that we don't smell it anymore. The tauntaun. If you live on the farm, there is no scent. There's no smell. Or is it worse to be a Cardinals fan with no hope and the worst coach and all of this drama? I know where you're going. It's way worse to be a Colts fan. It is not fair to Colts fans.

5:15Jason Moore:It is the worst, most brutal.

5:18Mike Wright:Let's trade for Sauce because we're going to try to close out this maybe bye week type of team.

5:22Jason Moore:Trade two firsts for Sauce. Not just to close it out and be a bye week team, but to be a legitimate Super Bowl contender. Not a playoff team. Oh, we can make the playoffs. This is, we might finish the year hoisting the trophy. And now, I genuinely do not believe they make the playoffs. I don't think they –

5:41Mike Wright:They are the eighth seed right now, so they're not in the playoffs.

5:45Jason Moore:And they're not going to be better without –

5:48Mike Wright:The tiebreaker, Houston has the tiebreaker. Oh, man. The team's ahead of them, Los Angeles. Tonight's a big game for Los Angeles. It's not fair.

5:55Andy Holloway:And for those who didn't hear, Daniel Jones tore his Achilles. Yeah, done for the year. The situation is done for a year. Really? It's insane because Daniel Jones was on a one year. Yeah, he's a free agent. They trade two first rounds because they know that we're going to lock up Daniel Jones as our franchise quarterback. The dude has no more money left. He just tore his Achilles. It takes time to come back from that. Do you? They'll pay him. Will you? That's what it will come down to.

6:26Jason Moore:You think they'll franchise him maybe? I think they'll pay him.

6:30Andy Holloway:that would make sure now that being said it's tough for like he's on the ownership for the

6:35Jason Moore:team for the fans you're in such a weird hard position the funny thing is he is a complete and open free agent meaning if they don't franchise him he can go out and when you say they'll pay him if i'm daniel jodes i'm taking the money i don't know how i'm coming back from an achilles injury i i test the whole market not just indy and i go hey every team that needs a quarterback because he just showcased himself. I mean, a franchise would make sense,

7:00Mike Wright:but it's also like how soon are you going to be back? Is it going to be weeks into the season? It is.

7:04Jason Moore:The current timeline estimation is that he could potentially be ready

7:09Mike Wright:for week one. The hardest part about that is, one, part of his special sauce is running the football. So coming back from an Achilles injury and able to run, it's a tall task. Now, Kirk Cousins got a big check after his Achilles injury.

7:22Jason Moore:Yeah, but he was also much older. That's what I mean.

7:25Mike Wright:He got a big check much older. I don't know what that was. No, I know. Achilles, you don't want to mess around with that.

7:32Andy Holloway:I would say Daniel Jones has made money. Do not forget he was a first-round pick, so automatically he's made a good amount of cash. Then he got that extension with the Giants. That was real controversial. So you're saying he doesn't have to take the bag? Yeah, he doesn't have to go get the biggest bag because he's –

7:49Jason Moore:I think he'll be back with the Colts. I think the Colts want him. He loves being a part of a franchise that wants him.

7:54Mike Wright:yeah you uh you had another win by new orleans this week which tyler shuck is playing well he's looking good i'm looking at the standings like the big i think one of the big changes this week to me is just the landscape of that top quarterback spot where look i already i don't think tennessee in any realm takes a quarterback but now las vegas has a worse record than cleveland does and is tied with the Titans. So Las Vegas could end up with potentially the number one pick in the draft. They desperately need a quarterback.

8:29Andy Holloway:But they don't have the number one right now. Yeah, the Giants have the number one. If it's not going to be my Arizona Cardinals having their pick of whoever, I want it to be the Giants. I really do. I want the Giants to have the first overall pick, get just a haul. Oh, to move back. To move back. Move back.

8:46Jason Moore:You've got your – Move back, get a crazy offensive lineman. at like five with a hall of picks and be awesome.

8:53Andy Holloway:Yeah, you have a franchise quarterback. You have a number one wide receiver. You have a starting top-tier running back. Like you have – and then you have some other ancillary pieces that are like – Wandale and Slayton with neighbors? Yeah. Like that is good enough. They're made to be twos and threes. What's funny is – They could turn around so fast.

9:11Mike Wright:They have three or four games at home to finish the season against four teams without reigning backers.

9:17Andy Holloway:They play Vegas too. Yeah. That's our tank bowl or whatever we call it. I think it's the dung bowl.

Read the full transcript

9:23Jason Moore:I think we're going with dung bowl. Dung bowl. That'll be it. And Cleveland, because two of those picks, Tennessee probably won't take that quarterback. The Giants don't need a quarterback, assuming that Dart doesn't kill himself on the field this year. Right. Cleveland, man. Cleveland obviously does not need a quarterback now. Right? By the end of the year, they may not.

9:44Mike Wright:They shouldn't be talking about Deshaun Watson coming back and setting the table for that for us if they were looking at a quarterback. I mean, Shador went off this week. Shador had 46 fantasy points.

9:53Andy Holloway:Yeah. It was simultaneously a great game for Sanders, and yet I saw the time of he was holding the ball so long. Stop backing up. Oh, yeah.

10:04Jason Moore:Mike said this forever. Stop it. Someone put a wall behind him. He has to move. Just come up in the pocket. Ever, ever once seeing him step up in the pocket. He has stepped up to run. If pressure's there and he escapes and goes forward, fine stop packing up outside of that he's never once just taken that two steps forward in the

10:23Mike Wright:pocket in his life including college yeah and he's still i mean still a lot better than what they've had yeah so we'll see i hope he's great i think it'll be fun um for all my sports cards all right we're getting into monday punday you submitted them we're gonna read them in a sophisticated way news we'll start with the good and uh this is part of the shador game harold manning junior

10:49Jason Moore:oh yeah harold fantastic what about bazooka nakua yeah baby or puka nuclear oh how about my start

10:58Andy Holloway:of the week michael thrillson he's so good that must that that situation has to be investigated what is happening there for malpractice uh we got freako collins and christmas watson oh i'll take

11:11Jason Moore:the boom boom here. Brandon

11:14Andy Holloway:Dogry. He's really good. Me and B-Cat got to the playoffs because of Brandon Aubrey on one of our teams. Dogry. Dogry, sorry. Blake Skorum. I was hoping I wouldn't get stuck with this one. I Korumba.

11:27Jason Moore:I Korumba. Shadur Santa. What? It's the season.

11:34Mike Wright:It is. We're jamming him in. Season for terrible. How about Tony Holla? Yeah, I faced Tony Pollard this week. That was great. We had some bad. And was it? I mean, it was real bad last night with Travis D. Kelsey. Yeah, which caused a hat trick my home. Oh, yeah.

11:50Jason Moore:Yeah, three picks. Three picks.

11:51Andy Holloway:Trashed and genteed. That's so mean.

11:54Jason Moore:Disgusting Jefferson. That's their Jamar waist.

11:58Andy Holloway:Oh, man. Brees Hall of Shame.

12:00Jason Moore:Oh, and then this guy that can't catch now. Eggpuka. Yeah. Fluka. It was raining. It was wide open.

12:12Andy Holloway:I know. Kenneth Walker, the turd. Fart Andrews. Chris Nolave. And Darren Squaller.

12:20Mike Wright:I think, I mean, a lot of expectations this week. Jack Squat. You can submit your Monday Pundays at Fantasy Footballers on Instagram, on X, at the FF Ballers.

12:33Jason Moore:That one is, look, if it wasn't close to Christmas, it wouldn't have made the list. I hope that's not a June one.

12:40Andy Holloway:I would only accept that on Christmas Day. On Christmas Day.

12:44Mike Wright:Okay. Oof, that's rough. That one, I deleted a couple others. That was some of the best. We're getting into the news.

12:54Jason Moore:News and notes from around the league. Presented by Progressive Insurance. Breaking news, Emeka Ibuka has forgotten how to catch the ball. Now, I don't know if you guys know his line. And I'm sure everyone in the world has seen his awesome route. Oh, yeah, he left the defender. Nukes a guy to get wide open in the end zone and then gets a lobbed pass and then is like, I don't know how to catch.

13:21Andy Holloway:It did. In all fairness to Ibuka, it hit him directly in the hands.

13:25Jason Moore:Right. So it's like maybe that was hard. Not the chest. Maybe they needed it because all those amazing catches he made at the beginning of the year that were difficult, maybe when Baker sees him, he's got to throw it a little away from him. Like make it difficult. I feel like I have to defend him. This is how I feel now. How many targets do you think Emeka Ibuka had?

13:43Andy Holloway:It wasn't a lob. I just watched it. It's not a lob. If you were crushing Chris Olave for two weeks ago, not catching that bomb pass, you need to put Ibuka into Davy Jones' locker.

13:56Jason Moore:Ibuka had nine targets. That was way easier. Nine targets. Nine targets. That's a way easier catch. I'm looking at this thing, man. It's a drop of all drops. It is so not. That was a warm-up rip. All right. Well, how about the rest? Because he caught two of his nine. Well, this has been the problem. He caught two of his nine. This has been the problem. He had 15 yards.

14:15Mike Wright:He should have had an amazing game. That's the story of the last eight weeks. There's no defense.

14:21Jason Moore:Yeah. It's so weird because this guy, I mean, I love him. He was my favorite wide receiver coming out this year. He was my guy. Something's going on. He gets off to a hot start, has the hamstring injury in week seven, and then doesn't know how. You turned off the faucet at that point. Oh, yeah.

14:36Andy Holloway:I would go talk to whoever my friend is in my dynasty league and just crap all over a book and be like, I'll take them off. Let me do you a solid.

14:47Jason Moore:I hate when people crap on someone and then they try to trade for him. Like, dude, I see right through you.

14:53Mike Wright:What's been really wild is we saw the catch percentage with him. But like, let's not bury the lead here. Like they lost to the Saints. Like this is the division leader. like baker was an mvp candidate and then it's really fallen apart for the entire offense like baker in and of himself has been more inaccurate more mistakes the team can't move the offense i mean look at this they have godwin back they lose to the saints they can't get enough points on the

15:21Jason Moore:board it was the saints are playing well i don't think that the saints look like a two or three

15:25Mike Wright:win team they're they're it is what they are though no i i know but they they also started

15:30Jason Moore:the majority of the season they you know they were with the rattler and and for to talk about

15:37Andy Holloway:baker i know like things were kind of rough before the injury but it's reminding me like in cleveland where i think it was was it year two or year three i can't remember where i mean he was just beat up he had a one shoulder that was just annihilated but because he's so tough he plays through it. He plays through it and then you're like well you're not very good and if he didn't play well you're a baby. He's in a tough situation.

16:05Mike Wright:Breaking news Egbuka went gloves first quarter no gloves second quarter. Gloves back on in the fourth quarter. You gotta go double glove. I was going

16:15Jason Moore:MJ. Just the one glove? Did he have a not just two gloves on each hand. Fourth quarter was gloves again? Dumber style. Like make your

16:26Mike Wright:hands sweat uh by the way baker how many times in the last seven weeks does he throw more than

16:30Jason Moore:one touchdown pass in the last seven weeks seven weeks once one time that makes sense because there's one good game for i mean he keeps throwing to a booker he's like catch the ball dude a book wasn't just him godwin dropped a wide open touchdown last week a book in the last eight games so that's like i was hoping we'd never talk about him sorry half a season of a booker This is the news section. This is breaking news. Half the season, eight games played, he is on pace for 153 targets. You can't ask for more than that. 60 catches. What? 40 % catch rate?

17:07Andy Holloway:I can't remember.

17:08Jason Moore:Well, he was catching everything in the beginning. He has great hands. I mean, you can't really say that now.

17:13Andy Holloway:Someone tweeted it out. It really was raining. It was raining, yes, for the last eight weeks. But it was like Ibuka on the week was the number one most expected fantasy points. Yeah. The whole world was his oyster.

17:28Mike Wright:There was no pearl in that. We'll have to make decisions. Are there pearls in oysters? Yeah. Yeah. That's where they are. Where did you think they came from? Clams. Yeah. There we go.

17:36Andy Holloway:Do oysters do pearls too? No. Oh, man, Andy. Oysters are where pearls come from. We are sounding real dumb right now.

17:43Jason Moore:Do pearls come from oysters?

17:47Andy Holloway:This is the dumbest thing.

17:48Jason Moore:Yes. Pearls come from oysters. Yes. Of course. Repeat. Of course.

17:53Mike Wright:Well, I don't know, man. It's raining in here.

17:57Jason Moore:We can't get our. Also, pearls can come from clams as well. Where else can they come from? I don't know.

18:03Andy Holloway:Give me some more pearl-making animals. They also come from crickets. Muscles. Oh, muscles.

18:08Jason Moore:Muscles can have pearls? That's what it says. Dude. DK Metcalf has so many pearls. Oh, right. I knew where it was going.

18:14Mike Wright:Justin Herbert, officially questionable, but expected to play. Hampton's going to be activated off IR for tonight's game. Let's go, Hampton. I need you. I need a big game. I saw people say Vidal or Hampton if you needed a few points, like if you needed 10 points, who would you play? I'm going down with Hampton. That's exactly my quote. I go down with Hampton.

18:32Andy Holloway:I will be Jack Sparrow just on that ship going down. If it goes into the ocean, that's where we go together.

18:40Mike Wright:We talked about Daniel Jones tearing his Achilles. This is devastating because if you look at the Colts, are fighting for their playoff lives. Anthony Richardson's on IR. He had fractured an orbital bone with, I believe, an exercise band in warm-ups of a Cardinals game. Something like that. Riley Leonard is the quarterback now, who was a six-round pick out of Notre Dame. It is terrifying for Jonathan Taylor managers. It is terrifying for Alec Pierce managers. It's terrifying for Michael Pittman managers. It is bad for all. It's bad for Tyler

19:16Jason Moore:the warren managers oh for sure what if you have jonathan taylor and michael pitman and heading into the playoffs as an underdog heading into the play i mean underdog we obviously just

19:26Andy Holloway:ask you for a friend it was like half a game or whatever but riley leonard really hyper targeted

19:32Jason Moore:michael pitman no no no i know he had 34 target share in in the the past tips from riley leonard that's all fine and dandy but if you i mean we were watching the game that game by that time was such a blowout. The Colts were manhandled by the Jaguars and so at the end of the game, I was watching those, getting those juicy, stanky garbage points from Michael Pittman. But it was just a, it was like, he'd take the snap, the defense drops back like 30 yards, and then he'd throw it six yards to Michael Pittman over and over and over. That's just not, I mean...

20:04Mike Wright:I gotta give you some hope. But that's not the neutral case situation. Yeah, exactly. No, it's terrible. Jaden Daniels also got hurt again. Oh, man. If you remember, my prize picks was the switch from Mariota to Jaden. If they had both combined for 200 points, would you have given me credit?

20:21Jason Moore:Did they?

20:21Mike Wright:No. Then yes. Then yes, I would have. It was terrible. And again, this injury, we've at least seen Mariota a lot, but it's not what you want.

20:33Jason Moore:Now, the good news is it appears that the game was kind of out of hand. They got so out of hand. And so they didn't put Daniels back in the game, but it was said that they basically could have. That, I think, was a pain issue, not a re-injury issue. So hopefully he's back next week. But it's also one of those things where it's very difficult to be like, why is he playing football? This team has three wins. There's very little to play for. And he's obviously still dealing with an injured arm. I wouldn't want him in that situation. Now, in that same game, there was a real injury, a sad injury, a brutal injury, but we should have seen it coming.

21:14Jason Moore:What do you mean you should have seen it coming? Because of Mike's magical season, man. I did not want Ertz going out like that. I know you don't, but you want the senator. I want an opportunity for him. And all of a sudden, your magical season, you got it. How dare you accuse me of dark magic.

21:31Mike Wright:You do realize. I don't know if you've realized it. it's like shot for shot what happened to train mcbride oh yeah i mean it's we were talking about it's a torn acl for the same guy ahead of him in zach urts no right zach urts his second torn acl and you know jack urts has had an amazing career yeah i feel terrible for him if this is the way it ends because it probably is but um that's just creepy oh yeah it's almost identical and so that

21:59Jason Moore:That means that Ben Sennett, out of nowhere, is going to be the tight end one for the final month of the season. Please do not quote me on that. No. Quote Mike on that.

22:12Andy Holloway:I didn't say anything.

22:13Jason Moore:I know. Quote him. He said it with his heart. He's trying to be upstanding over there.

22:18Mike Wright:Geno Smith left early. I'm so excited for Ben Sennett. Push the button.

22:22Jason Moore:I don't even know what button to push. The signature. Oh, come on.

22:26Andy Holloway:Oh, my God. Dude, I forgot I had a button. I am the saint.

22:30Mike Wright:That's because he had to. No, that doesn't feel good after the arts injury. No, that feels real bad. Don't put that on me. How dare you, Mike? Vincent is not doing nothing. No, probably not. Dino Smith left with a right shoulder injury. Bates.

22:42Jason Moore:Bates is going to go.

22:44Mike Wright:Yeah. Pete Carroll. Pete Carroll. Pete Carroll is one and done. Pete Carroll. Pete Carroll sucks. What were you up to? Is this the field goal? What were you up to, Pete? I cannot find any like I like playing devil's advocate I like finding the argument for the other side of things if you didn't see it they're down 10 points they throw the ball down the field with 5 seconds left the referees call a penalty so there's 2 seconds left on the clock after a penalty they're down 10 and they kicked a field goal I think it was a couple more seconds than 2 it was to end the game

23:25Andy Holloway:right yeah but yeah time ran out time was gonna run out they thought somehow they would kick a field goal well time runs out and what no and have one second left and then recover the onside and score the touchdown is that what they described it as no no that's that's the only

23:39Jason Moore:way i can think of them the line was eight and a half i can tell you eater i can tell you genuinely the devil's advocate what are you up to the devil's advocate story is easy to me if i am the head coach and I know that the line is eight and a half this isn't a betting thing like I have but but I want I want to cover the spread I wanted to I want to cover that spread just so I'm kicking the field goal it's literally to cover the spread that is a hundred percent a betting thing and as

24:09Andy Holloway:a coach you should never pay attention to any of that stuff ever it was Peter I mean Peter Peter I mean it's like I've I've done this in Madden I go like where you're like not in the NFL Yeah, the game is over.

24:24Mike Wright:You're like, yeah, but I lost by less. Mafia was like unlimited bubble gum forever. I mean, Peter. Peter. It was weird. Pete. Terod Taylor, as always, injured. And the team will play the guy that's best for the team in the future weeks.

24:40Andy Holloway:Well, Justin Fields was inactive with a knee injury. And I can't even remember the guy who played. Cook? Is that right? Oh, man.

24:51Mike Wright:That's what I'm saying. Brady Cook. What's his name? Brady Cook. Brady Cook. Yeah, man. He was Burton's quarterback at Missouri. Let him cook. Okay, Garrett Wilson is eligible to come off of IR this week. If I were him, I would say, nah. I think he would say, no, I'm good. What are you? I am not eligible. Just sign here to come off IR.

25:11Jason Moore:No, I would go. I would be like, yeah, heck yeah, man. Let me go out there. I'm going to take a round.

25:15Mike Wright:Oh, good indeed. Sorry, guys. Devon Achan left early with a rib injury. did not return. Mike McDaniel says he was available to return. I was happy that that wasn't a knee or lower body injury. He seems like he'll be fine.

25:31Jason Moore:He might be able to play with a flak jacket and McDaniel said that he will. He said like something along the lines of I promise he will be there if he's ready. I'm following this closely because I play against HN next week. Also, that's the team you're playing in our legal record.

25:46Mike Wright:You're playing against Gibbs and Josh Allen.

25:48Jason Moore:Gibbs and Josh Allen and HN and I I lost basically Jonathan Taylor, Michael Pittman, and CeeDee Lamb. So see you guys on the fishing hole. I'll be out by the lake.

26:00Andy Holloway:Could he decide if he wanted to go boat?

26:01Jason Moore:Yeah. See you on the fishing hole? You should call your shot and start driving before the games start.

26:08Mike Wright:Just start driving to vacation. Wherever the fish are.

26:11Jason Moore:Yeah. Give him a fishing pole, my fishing rod. Oh, my gosh. You're asking us how to fish.

26:18Mike Wright:Keaton Mitchell left with a knee injury He had a big run DK Metcalf

26:23Andy Holloway:I don't know if you guys out there saw the run It's Keaton Mitchell Whose calling card is Speed And he broke to the outside And got caught

26:35Mike Wright:Did you see the college play that happened last week? Oh my gosh I showed Mike Where a guy's wide open There's no one in front of him And he's got a defender six yards behind him and he's just got the sideline to run up and he's at about the 30, he just runs out of bounds.

26:51Jason Moore:Yeah, and the commentator's like, no one's gonna catch this guy. He ran out of bounds. What did he do? There was no momentum making him out of bounds. He just chose to like, left turn. I wanna end this play.

27:02Mike Wright:It was so peculiar. I've never seen anything like that. DK Metcalf stayed overnight in Baltimore after going to a local hospital following the game, experiencing stomach pains. We haven't heard anything else.

27:11Andy Holloway:The stomach pains were, he got target volume and he didn't know what to do with it. Let me just say this. DK Metcalf dominated.

27:20Mike Wright:Assuming he's perfectly healthy and jokes are allowed, it's Skittles.

27:24Jason Moore:Yeah, it's definitely Skittles.

27:25Mike Wright:David Njoku left early with a left knee injury. Harold Manning Jr. Boy, he's a great player. He is. That's the player I would be targeting heavily in Dynasty Leagues because I still feel like his true value is not the value he is now. Oh, yeah.

27:38Jason Moore:David Njoku. I mean, even we'll talk about it tomorrow on the waiver show, But like Njoku caught a touchdown, went down with an injury. Fannin, rest of season is a great play.

27:49Mike Wright:Njoku's a free agent?

27:50Jason Moore:No, I don't think so. I think he's got a contract. I'll look that up. Check that out. But I went and did some diving.

27:56Andy Holloway:He's a free agent. Because if you out there did not see it, it looked like Mason Taylor possibly maybe broke a tackle on a play.

28:07Mike Wright:But you're saying it didn't count as one?

28:09Andy Holloway:And so I was like, man, I want to see what the graders did. So it's like PFF, fantasy points. I went and I checked that out. They did not give Mason Taylor the missed tackle force or however they want to credit. But at the top of that list, Harold Fannin. This is PFF's great. Harold Fannin is credit. I mean, it's also like juking people and things like that. It's forcing a missed tackle.

28:36Mike Wright:So he's probably just got a few more. He's at 20. Oh, my. He's so good.

28:40Andy Holloway:Ray McBride is second with 13. Harold Fannin has 20. And McBride does it all the time. And by the way, Colston Loveland has more than Tyler Warren. With two fewer games. Just want to throw that out. You mean Colston Dogg. Yeah, the dog commentary.

Football's on ESPN. All right.

30:16Mike Wright:Week 14. Let's talk studs.

30:20Jason Moore:This week's Fantasy Stud Muffins presented by Lowe's.

30:26Mike Wright:Well, the fantasy playoffs are here and they're, those of you with Josh Allen, you're hoping you get this Josh Allen. He was unbelievable. Number one on the week. Shadour Sanders, number two.

30:37Andy Holloway:Guys, I was at the big dome meeting last night. We took a beating. You did. You did. Yeah, I was there. I was there. It was tough. Yeah. We were all very much coping with the situation. Yeah. Of the majestic snow game that gave us a bajillion points.

30:55Mike Wright:Yeah, two of the top three players.

30:56Andy Holloway:I was talking to Mike during this game. I was like, this is bad for you.

31:00Jason Moore:This is bad for business. This game is beautiful. It's awesome. Two great quarterbacks playing out of their mind. And the aesthetic was wonderful. Oh, gorgeous, man. What a great game. It was awesome. I was like, this sucks. Man.

31:19Mike Wright:This is terrible. It's perfect timing after I said you need a good snow game.

31:24Jason Moore:Man, we got one.

31:24Andy Holloway:We got one, yeah.

31:25Mike Wright:And you got two of the three top scorers at quarterback.

31:28Andy Holloway:We got in the Cleveland game, as gross as it was, that one had points too.

31:34Mike Wright:Yeah, Shadur was number two on the week, Burrow three, Stafford, who just played with his food in Arizona, and Sam Darnold at five. And Sam Darnold looked like they were doing nothing halfway through.

31:45Andy Holloway:Through the first half of that game, I was – the concern was –

31:49Mike Wright:And then the Falcons defender turned their helmets on backwards.

31:51Andy Holloway:It was growing of like you had a week where the Minnesota Vikings showed the NFL. This is how you stop Jason. This is how you stop Sam. Exactly what I was thinking. We know. We know. Why do you think we let him go? Because we know that you do this one thing and you can stop him. And then a whole half of the Falcons doing it. And then they didn't. Yeah. I mean, it kicked off with a Rashid Shahid return teams. Yeah. But then Jason just went crazy.

32:18Mike Wright:So, yeah, this is New England next week for Josh Allen. So you're in New England next week. Oh, man. That sucks. With a divisional battle.

32:27Jason Moore:Yeah,

32:28Mike Wright:you're super thrilled about that.

32:29Jason Moore:Oh, man. Congrats to those of you with Josh Allen. My condolences to those playing against him.

32:36Mike Wright:Yeah. I am out. In New England, he only scored 19 points against them in week five, just for what it's worth. But this one's going to be worth a lot in this division. he is the first quarterback ever with three seasons of 20 plus passing touchdowns and 10 plus rushing touchdowns and 9 for 78 on the ground including what like a 45 yard run right up the middle he's beaten Mahomes this year he's beaten Lamar he's beaten Burrow let me just tell you in case you don't know Joshua it's now the time is now this is your Super Bowl run the Chiefs have a 14 % chance to make the playoffs I don't think they're going to make the playoffs.

33:18Mike Wright:You don't have to go through Mahomes or Lamar. You got to go through Bo Nix.

33:22Andy Holloway:No, you got to go through Drake.

33:24Jason Moore:You got to go through Drake. It's funny.

33:26Mike Wright:You're going to go through those guys.

33:27Jason Moore:You say this season, he's excellent. This season, he's beaten Mahomes, Lamar, and Burroughs. Like, okay, we'll beat good teams. You know what I mean? Like, okay, okay.

33:36Andy Holloway:I like the note here, but somehow he lost to Michael Penix, Tua, and Davis Mills. It doesn't matter in the playoffs.

33:42Mike Wright:This is your time, Josh. Please don't miss it. the Suns. The Suns had a chance to go to the finals twice when Jordan was retired, and they let Hakeem Olajuwon do it instead of you. This is your time. You don't think Mahomes is making it next year? Just go get your title, Buffalo. And to the Denver fans and the New England fans, you got enough time. You guys are young. I agree.

34:08Andy Holloway:I think Buffalo is definitely good enough.

34:10Jason Moore:I think that it is their time. I'm on jason's side of i don't know they just they they've had so many games this year where they

34:16Mike Wright:haven't shown up especially on the road i i think it's time i would put all my money on them making the super bowl okay i'm really i i think they'll take advantage of it and the nice thing is their head coach the defensive football in the playoffs i think they're built for this but um you know

34:32Jason Moore:that they don't get to throw to the tight end every play against non-cincinnati angles opponents That's true. They will have to throw to one of those wideouts. Mike's start of the week was the – Whoever was starting for the Bills. The Bills tight ends. And they both scored. Not just both. Three of them scored. That's right. Jackson Haas scored. Every play was a throw to a tight end. The Bengals can't guard tight ends. It's wild.

35:00Mike Wright:Oh, I guess Dawson Knox technically didn't score. He just went six for 93. Dawson Knox. And a two-point conversion. Dawson Knox had 93 yards. Yeah. Dawson Knox. That's embarrassing. Yeah. That's like a career, and that's the end of the sentence for him. Chador Sanders, 364-3, and then they inexplicably took him off the field for the two-point conversion so that Quinshawn Judkins would forget to pitch it and look like he was playing street ball.

35:26Andy Holloway:That was frustrating. I loved it. They did the analytical. You're down by 14. You score, so you go for two because you have a 50. The analytics are you have about a 50 % chance of getting the two, So should you not get it the first time, you still have a good chance to get it and tie it the next time. And they got neither? Yeah, they didn't get either of them. You're playing to win. I love that. But then the play call on the second one? Don't take Shadour off. What was that?

35:51Mike Wright:Rookie quarterbacks with 350 passing yards, three passing touchdowns, and a rushing touchdown in a game. So all time. This is from NFL and CBS. Joe Burrow? Yeah, he did it. Shadour Sanders. Nice. Wow. Keep it going. Yeah. Joe Burrow was 284-4. He played great except for two plays. Back to back. Near the end of the game. It was just unbelievable. One of them was real, real bad. Like Jason, when we played flag football, his dream was to knock the ball down or actually just catch it out of the air.

36:21Jason Moore:Straight catch.

36:22Mike Wright:And just run it in. As a D lineman.

36:23Jason Moore:Like catch it right next to the quarterback and keep running.

36:27Mike Wright:So Burrow basically kills their season. They basically have no hope of making the playoffs now. I don't know if they're technically eliminated. They are not eliminated. They probably have to win the division.

36:36Andy Holloway:The fact that Baltimore lost, they are still in it. It's wild. Just to win the division? Yeah, they need to beat the Ravens. Who do they play this week? They need Pittsburgh to lose two of three. I don't think they need the Steelers to lose every game.

36:51Mike Wright:So you could be sub-500 winning that division? Yes. Matthew Stafford, Jason's start of the week, 281-3. Could have thrown for five more if he wanted to. He was bored probably. Plays the Lions this week.

37:00Jason Moore:That's going to be a fun game.

37:02Mike Wright:Sam Darnold got it going after a slow start, three touchdown passes. Tyler Shuck, Mike Streamer on Tuesday, two rushing touchdowns. Dog.

37:12Andy Holloway:And how many yards? Oh. On the ground? 55.

37:16Mike Wright:55!

37:17Andy Holloway:And this wasn't just scrambling. I mean, they're running read options with Tyler Shuck, and he's picking up huge yardage. His touchdown run was on a read option. Maybe. Maybe.

37:33Jason Moore:I see Lamar in here yeah he had because he had a he had a fine game do you feel like he had a good game by comparison of what you have been experiencing he had the best game of his career did he have a did he have a game worthy of yeah I mean I was next three weeks if you started him you were happy that you that you have him in your lineup he had a rushing touchdown a passing touchdown 43 rushing yards had to and likely touchdown yeah yeah so I think he was fine and I said it this week that I would still play Lamar over most of the second-tier guys. Next week in Cincinnati, I will do the same.

38:12Mike Wright:J.J. McCarthy, 16 for 23, 163-3. Do you feel like he did what he was supposed to do, that he outperformed what you expected? He did not provide fantasy value for Justin Jefferson. No, he did not.

38:27Jason Moore:Exactly what the Vikings needed. They needed to put him in a situation in positions to be successful. All the touchdowns went to the tight end, to tight ends, because one was Hawkinson. But it was, at least it lets Vikings, not just fans, the staff, just breathe. It lets them just be able to have some oxygen and be like, okay, let's see if we can do this.

38:59Mike Wright:um jacobie brissette garbage timed it i don't know if we want to oh that was that was stinky garbage 271 and two got it done for you both of them going to wilson running back top five scores of the week there's some here here's what it is there's jameer gibbs he is looking like especially with the josh john the taylor situation oh man gibbs looks like the best running back in football right now.

39:23Andy Holloway:Plays the Rams this week.

39:25Mike Wright:That'll be tough.

39:26Andy Holloway:You know that. He's been fluctuating like zero or three touchdowns, right? Jason has already painted his path to the semifinals.

39:36Mike Wright:The number two and number three scores were the two running backs I faced in League of Records.

39:41Jason Moore:That's what? That's impossible. That is impossible. There's no way that you faced Tony Pollard and Blake Corum and they both went off. The number two, that's you're so okay this has been a bad year for Andy you sold halfway through the season and invested for next year we're a keeper league yada yada which was a good decision yes it was we play in about like four main leagues and like eight leagues total you know more we don't care about way too many you are in if not every single one I'm paying penance Almost every single one. I think there might be one where you're like the second most points scored against you.

40:25Jason Moore:Yeah. Every league.

40:28Mike Wright:You are the most points scored against you. It's amazing. And this, by the way, my opponent this week was one of the worst teams in the league. They scored the most points. They played Tony Pollard and Blake Corum. Who went number two and three on the week. Oh, he went number two on you. I need to stay away from Andy. I did the math in one of the leagues, and it amounts to like 20-something points a week more scored against me than like—

40:53Andy Holloway:Oh, above expectation? Than the expectation.

40:55Mike Wright:So like I start with a minus 20 every week. I just had to laugh at this point. Travis Etienne, number four, got into the end zone twice. RJ Harvey at 19. There you go.

41:08Jason Moore:He's coming on strong.

41:09Mike Wright:Yeah, so yeah, I'm looking at the numbers here. Tony Pollard was started in only 25 % of leagues. That was like 25 % too many. It's Cleveland. Go to Cleveland, start Tony Pollard, and it works? No. We shouldn't have jobs. Neither should the Cleveland defense. How does that happen? Devon HM was great. Got knocked out early. Only had eight touches and still ends up dominating. He's so good. He is so good. Seven carries for 92 yards. I mean, if you look at his game log for the entire year, his worst fantasy finishes of the year, I'm going to read the five worst. Running back 13, 16, 16, 17, 17. Otherwise, he's top 10.

41:54Jason Moore:Yeah. And what is his fewest half PPR points in a single game all year? His worst, worst of the worst is 11.3 points. When I see double digits from my player, I'm not always happy, but I'm fine. I'm not upset. I'm like, okay.

42:13Mike Wright:Have you seen his consistency ranking on our site?

42:15Jason Moore:I mean, it's an A. It's an A, but you know what the percentage is?

42:18Mike Wright:It's 94.1%. That's outrageous. That is games exceeding 10.5 in the last 17 played. He's going to improve on that. Two starts of the week did well. Chase Brown scored.

42:29Andy Holloway:Thank goodness for those touchdowns.

42:31Mike Wright:Through the air and on the ground. And then Devin Neal.

42:33Andy Holloway:There's a lot of Pirine. Yeah. It really has. Since Pirine's been back, it has been a decent amount. and it was even closer. It felt like it was closer on Sunday. I'm assuming because of the conditions of the game.

42:49Mike Wright:Devin Neal, 19 for 70 and a touchdown. Yeah, baby. And then pay attention here because Nick Chubb got hurt, not that the work wasn't all going his way, but Woody Marks, 26 opportunities on the ground. This is a defensive first team that is going to lean on the running game. Woody Marks got some big first downs at the end of the game when everybody knew they were running the football.

43:08Jason Moore:plays the Cardinals and the Raiders the next two weeks he is a delicious really really good start as a reminder Blake Corum running back two against the Cardinals yeah yeah yeah

43:20Mike Wright:um wide receivers Puka Michael Wilson JSN T Higgins Christian Watson

43:28Andy Holloway:Puka is just unbelievable if they let Puka score touchdowns he's the number one wide receiver on

43:33Jason Moore:the week yeah I mean well you're talking about a guy who is currently the number two wide receiver on the year without them so I mean he's he's unstoppable and and Christian Watson yeah let's

43:47Mike Wright:talk about Christian Watson he's got Denver next week then Chicago both on the road but he has been so important not just to fantasy players but to Jordan Love yeah I mean since he's been you look

43:57Jason Moore:at the last month you know he's been relevant every single week five targets seven targets ten targets this last week was his worst target count yeah because with only four targets but he had 82 yards and two touchdowns he's used around the goal line he is such an athletic like this team really needed him because they spent a first round draft pick on a third round wide receiver which was a mistake but christian watson is is good and do you feel good about jordan levin the

44:26Mike Wright:fantasy playoffs he's got no four touchdowns last week three this week you do not feel good he's been a top 12 three out of four very very well i'm just thinking jayden reed's back christian watson is dominating they have weapons now again yeah i mean his consistency rating is still an f

44:44Jason Moore:29 of his well that's i realized now he's 17 now he's got the weapons but if you're talking right now he plays denver in denver in the fantasy playoffs i i don't know man i i would be hard pressed to I wouldn't want to go into my fantasy playoffs with my quarterback playing against

45:01Mike Wright:Denver unless he's like Josh Allen um okay Ryan Flannoy if if CeeDee Lamb misses this week 13 targets 9 for 115 he could be worth a shot against Minnesota but that'd be a scary start a backup option situation and that's a tough defense DK Metcalf and Zay Flowers who where has this been you had to start both of these guys and they both had their best weeks of the year really

45:25Andy Holloway:I've been starting these guys all year long. Where has this been?

45:28Jason Moore:Now you're like, this week didn't matter. You're basically on a pre-buy buy week because you're already locked up in the buy. And then get it out of the way now, Metcalf and Flowers.

45:38Andy Holloway:Twelve targets for DK Metcalf is like, where has this been? This is what you traded for. This is what you paid him for. Why did it take until week 14 to surpass a double-digit targets in one single game?

45:56Mike Wright:This turned into a passing affair, and Zay Flowers ended up with 11 targets on the other side, 8 for 124.

46:02Andy Holloway:Gotta hope that it continues. Will it?

46:06Mike Wright:Tight ends on the week. Harold Fannin was number one. Gasicki, two. Josh Oliver. Yeah, two touchdowns will do that. Dawson Knox, Brock Bowers.

46:17Andy Holloway:Dawson Knox.

46:18Mike Wright:You know, Bowers was the most disappointing 12 points of your life because it was the first drive of the game, a long touchdown, and then you're like, oh, baby, here comes 30. And that was basically it because that team is so bad. They are very bad. Four for 46-1. And then Kyle Pitts, six for 90. Brought him up. He was the start of the week. Last week he had 82 yards. This week he had 90 yards. No Drake London just makes it really accessible for him to be relevant.

46:46Jason Moore:if london is back next week i would probably bail out i agree and then uh but loveland colson loveland yeah who got in the end zone didn't have a big game four for 29 but got a touchdown i it is worth noting like if rome is out there is fantasy value to be had there because the the issue with the bears has been just they're spreading it around too much with burden and loveland and rome and DJ Moore. Now, I think Rome's going to miss a couple weeks.

47:18Mike Wright:All right. Well, Loveland was 4-29-1 over the last six weeks. He is the tight end three in total fantasy points. Wow. Let's take a break and talk duds.

49:24Jason Moore:Hooped in his big boy pants.

49:29Mike Wright:Well, um, Houston has a really tremendous defense. Did you guys, were you aware of that?

49:37Jason Moore:They have not given up a quarterback one performance on the year. They've played Josh Allen. Now they've played Patrick Mahomes. I said I would play Mahomes in this matchup. In hindsight, would you? I would not. In hindsight, I would certainly not play Mahomes.

49:52Mike Wright:160, three picks, no touchdowns. But don't throw them away because they're going to be fighting for their playoff lives and they play Tennessee in two weeks they play two more home games the Chargers

50:04Andy Holloway:in Denver um that Denver game the Denver game's tough yeah but I think in the next couple weeks

50:10Jason Moore:you could do worse for sure oh man you know the whole uh an immovable force yeah unstoppable yeah whatever yeah yeah you realize that next week there is a team playing that has not given up a top 12 performance to the quarterback against a team who has a quarterback that has not finished in the top 12 all season. Not-not. Not-not. Who's there? We're back. Every time, man. I love it. Tell us the matchup. Is Jacoby Bursette playable the guy who can't stop? Against Houston? Yeah, against Houston. No. No way.

50:49Mike Wright:This will be the end of this streak. Cardinals are playing like tryout dudes at wide receiver right now. People that have never like their jerseys are blank on the back. They don't have the names. It just says player. The Cardinals season is so over and I have to restrain myself from what I say on this show about the Cardinals. Leave them. Who cares? Let me just say this. I would love it if Jonathan Gannon wanted to be an astronaut because I would love to see him in outer space.

51:29Jason Moore:Yeah. It'd be cool if he was the first astronaut to land on the sun. You know?

51:37Mike Wright:The first astronaut to explore the sun. I'm just saying I would like him to have that honor. Yes, so that we can remember him fondly. Spacesuit optional. What a hero.

51:49Jason Moore:What a hero. He touched the sun. Jonathan Icarus Ganon. Not bad.

51:58Andy Holloway:Not bad Greek mythology joke. Admit it. There was a part of you that thought we were waking up to the big surprise. No, you didn't? I thought there was a chance we were waking up and Ganon was gone. Oh. I thought there was an after.

52:13Mike Wright:You mean because he's a defensive-minded head coach and we've given up 40-plus points to division mates for like five times this year, but we never did that five times in 23 years.

52:21Jason Moore:After yesterday's performance, I thought there was a chance. It's not really fair to Gannon because they invested their entire draft class on the defensive side of the ball.

52:29Mike Wright:It could happen today, Mike. I still think it could happen.

52:32Jason Moore:It could.

52:33Mike Wright:It could happen. Bo Nix, 31 for 38. Bo Nix, no touchdowns. It's the most Bo Nix-dominant, non-dominant performance of all time. This dude's so weird. he is 31 of 38 like that's a that's a good game he just feels like the guy and and excuse me dimmer i know you're amazing and you're 11 and 2 and you deserve all the credit sort of but it's not sort of the team does no i know they do but like maybe not bo nicks it just feels like there's like five cool guys cool guys walking down the street and then bo nicks is in the cool guy outfit that's what it feels like to me okay he wears the leather jacket and the sunglasses but if he tried to smoke a cigarette, he would choke.

53:20Mike Wright:Do you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I got you. I need to stop making analogies today. Baker Mayfield struggled big time. 122 passing yards. You can say all you want about Ibuka and he struggled, but 122 total passing yards, that's insane.

53:35Jason Moore:Because seven uncaught targets to Ibuka. He needs to just start throwing it to Tez.

53:42Mike Wright:Well, you can't catch every target, Jay. And if you watched this game, you'd understand that there was some nastiness in there. Tyler Shuck played well. Yeah, but what did he throw for? Under 200 as well? Yeah. It's crazy. More than Baker. That game was rainy.

53:57Jason Moore:It was a very bad weather game. It was our one feather in the cap of our dome, big dome.

54:05Andy Holloway:Their stat lines are actually very, very close, except Baker didn't have two rushing touchdowns.

54:11Mike Wright:Disappointing running backs. Are you worried about any of them? Brees Hall, Ashton Jinty, Quinchon Judkins, Kenneth Walker. I'm not going to put Chris Rodriguez in there. I'm not either.

54:20Andy Holloway:Rodriguez was great. No, 10 for 52 against Minnesota. That one doesn't make sense. Well, what was the schedule? What's his upcoming schedule? Don't do that. Giants.

54:29Jason Moore:Yeah, okay. 84 yards for Quinchon Judkins. Judkins. Whoa! Was not. Whoa! Was Quinchon Judkins. Was not that bad. Judkins? Judkins. The one I'm worried about right now is probably Brees Hall, simply because we're going into the fantasy playoffs. I don't know that they have a quarterback. Very similar to Jonathan Taylor. Losing Daniel Jones hurts him tremendously. You're going to put 11 guys in the box and just be like, all we got to do is stop him. And Brees Hall is like the last man standing. And even if he gets 20 opportunities, I don't know if it's enough. He plays in Jacksonville against Jacksonville.

55:07Jason Moore:Very good defense.

55:09Andy Holloway:How does John Doe come in at quarterback and not throw the ball to Brees Hall? Because you get the ball and you go, I'm scared. Yeah. That's why. And I'd be terrified. And Brees Hall is awesome. It's like his superpower.

55:26Jason Moore:It might be better in the target game when you're not coming in midway through a game unexpected. Give him some practice. Give him a strategy of checking down to Brees Hall.

55:36Mike Wright:We should be worried about Ashton Gentry. He plays Philly and Houston on the road the next two weeks. You should be very worried. And you don't even know of his Geno. Could it get worse? Yeah, it can get worse than Geno. Yeah.

55:47Andy Holloway:For everyone who always is like, get that quarterback out of here.

55:51Mike Wright:Yeah. Minnesota has a story for you. His name is Max Brosmer. Oh, man. Big names in the wide receiver duds, by the way. Jamar Chase.

56:01Andy Holloway:Yeah, T. Higgins. Justin Jefferson. T. Higgins sold all.

56:04Mike Wright:Abuka crushed Jefferson in production. Crushed him. Two for 15 versus two for 11?

56:09Andy Holloway:I mean, like Jamar Chase, no, I'm not concerned in the slightest.

56:13Mike Wright:If you played Chase Jefferson Abuka in your lineup this week, I want to see the screenshot at Andy Holloway on Twitter because you must have felt really good going into the week.

56:22Andy Holloway:So Justin Jefferson against Dallas this upcoming week in your fantasy football playoffs, can you do it? You can.

56:34Mike Wright:Should you?

56:35Andy Holloway:I don't think so. Okay, I'm using the – okay, Mr. –

56:37Mike Wright:Well, no, I mean, look –

56:38Andy Holloway:I don't know, can you? I thought you could this week. I thought you could this week. That's what I mean.

56:42Mike Wright:So it's Dallas.

56:44Andy Holloway:And I think the Dallas defense – Dallas is the worst.

56:47Mike Wright:They might be a little bit better than Washington at this point. But not the passing defense. Their defending of quarterbacks and wide receivers is still – and no matter what category you break it down to, even recent weeks, they've struggled. I think they've never not given up points above expectation to quarterbacks unless they did this past week.

57:03Andy Holloway:Justin Jefferson will be the scariest start of everything makes sense. Nine just had, like, I think his first complete game, even though, and if you watch it, I mean, there's so many times where you're just, you're screaming at the television. That game. How do you not see the wide open wide receiver?

57:23Mike Wright:The reason I would do it, I'm going to officially say I would do it. The reason I would do it is because this was, Minnesota defensively dominated the football game. They had multiple interceptions, turnovers, short fields. McCarthy had to do stuff for about a quarter and a half. That's really all he ever had to do. Dallas is going to score a million points. They always do. They're going to compete.

57:44Jason Moore:Hopefully. I don't think we'll have a lot of Justin Jefferson questions next week. Not because of that. I think he'll be the number one question. But you have to keep in mind, you have to be in the playoffs. Yeah. So if you had Justin Jefferson, that part is true, you probably don't have any questions because your season is done. That's brutal. I mean, that's just the truth. You've been starting him, and he's been just L, L, L. He's been Quinch on junk. Quinch on junk. Oh, real quick, to get back to Ashen Gentry, because you were talking about this. You said you're worried about him, whatever, tough schedule coming up.

58:15Jason Moore:I just was, look, Ashen Gentry, first round, top of the first round, rookie running back. Or seventh round pick, Kyle Monungay. Oh, man. Rushing yards on the season, 665 to 648. Mononga has 17 fewer yards than Ashen Gentry on the season right now. Where's Woody Marks? Woody Marks is right there. Woody Marks is 554 on rushing yards. But obviously he didn't really get the work until recently.

58:44Mike Wright:Yeah, you just named two playoff teams, and that is not what Las Vegas is.

58:49Jason Moore:Travion Henderson, 625. He's right there.

58:51Andy Holloway:Didn't play the first half of the year. You have to have your offensive line in place before you draft a top 10 running back. Yeah. Well said. It's been proven. Well said. Sometimes it will work for you. There's exceptions to every rule.

59:04Mike Wright:If you build your offensive line, you can succeed with a fifth-round running back. That is also being proven.

59:10Andy Holloway:That's when you go to the running backs don't matter. But it's like if you put Ashton Gentry behind a superstar offensive line, he would dominate.

59:18Mike Wright:And he would be better than Manungai and Marks in the same situation. But when you don't have it at all, you can't expect it to solve your running game drafting a really good running back. Devontae Adams, worst fantasy game of the year. Four for 29. He was not targeted inside the five, but he did have two back-to-back end zone targets on the first drive of the game, and they somehow didn't work. I'm not worried about it. George Pickens, we saw the Thursday night effort. It wasn't great. Chris Olave, three for 30. Surprising.

59:50Jason Moore:Yeah, it was disappointing. That was that rainy weather game, so whatever.

59:55Mike Wright:more than a bucho rice i mean four for 34 dropped a i mean it's the whole one it was the whole

1:00:00Andy Holloway:chiefs i think kareem hunt got a touchdown right they just they could not handle the the houston

1:00:07Jason Moore:defense they were down their their offensive line was yeah yeah they lost their left tackle in first play of the game yeah and when when you came in with offensive line struggles then you lose your tackle and you're playing the texans that is tough sledding kelsey mark andrews tyler

1:00:23Mike Wright:Warren just two for 15 uh-oh a little worried about this quarterback situation for Tyler Warren in the playoffs um that's that's Papa Josh and Falcon right Tyler Warren are you worried about

1:00:35Jason Moore:that Falcon yes thanks um would you rather have Tyler Warren or Mark Andrews next week at Cincinnati

1:00:43Mike Wright:Mark Andrews oh let me ask you one more follow-up would you rather have Blake Corum this week's number two finisher or the guy you have, Kyron Williams? Probably Corum. No, I'm kidding. No, no, no. I was actually thinking about this. No, it's Kyron. Kyron's the answer, but they've said they're going to conserve him for the playoffs. But Corum's the NFL playoffs. The NFL playoffs. The next three weeks are fantasy playoffs. I do wonder. Didn't Corum have the huge run at the end of the game? Yes. Yes. Monster run. I know he was involved. He was dominating before that.

1:01:14Andy Holloway:But it's like so much of your production is one carry. when it was already in the blowout. It wasn't. What was that touchdown run? 48 yards. A 48-yard touchdown? 48-yard touchdown run.

1:01:23Mike Wright:But he had 128 yards and two rushing touchdowns, and he got – I guess he still only had 33 % of some.

1:01:30Jason Moore:Kyron was still great. Kyron was top 10 running back on the week, and then they blew him out, and then Corham got more work.

1:01:35Mike Wright:It just freaks me out for fantasy playoffs that any snaps go to Blake Corham. Sure. That's all. Yeah. Because he's been really good. There you go. Tight ends, though. Those are disappointing. Darren Waller, three targets, one for 13. That one was a bummer. They were dominating this game on the ground again.

1:01:53Jason Moore:Oh, man. And it's funny. You brought up Ollie Gordon as your backup officer. And I think he scored, didn't he? He did. He was totally fine. But it was Jalen Wright. It was Jalen Wright who really dominated the touchdown. I think he had over 20 carries. And they just ran all over them.

1:02:08Andy Holloway:I mean, it was Jalen Wright, currently the running back five on the week, 24 for 107 with a score.

1:02:17Mike Wright:breaking news yeah that's fair not normally breaking news but on this show on this day

1:02:21Andy Holloway:when the playoffs are on the line i'm cd lamb

1:02:27Mike Wright:which way is it gonna go oh my gosh i haven't seen it how did we not oh that's terrible camera

1:02:32Jason Moore:work by the way we should have been right on jason's camera okay uh cd lamb now you don't

1:02:38Mike Wright:know what i'm gonna say i have no idea but this matters it's cd lamb blank so we'll play the like What is that called? Fill in the blank? Fill in the blank. Hangman? No, what is it? No, Hangman. What's the book where you got to fill in the word? Mad Libs? Thank you, Mad Libs. C.D. Lamb, choose your own adventure. C.D. Lamb blank in concussion protocol. It's a descriptive phrase. Is in?

1:03:01Jason Moore:No, no, it's more than that. C.D. Lamb cleared. No. Progressing nicely. Nice. Yes. Please. Woo. Okay. He is progressing nicely. That is fantastic.

1:03:13Mike Wright:There's not 1 % of Jason that thinks he's losing this week.

1:03:17Jason Moore:Oh, there is like 82 % of Jason that thinks he's losing this week.

1:03:20Mike Wright:Then there's 100 % that has hope. 182%. That was Suds and Duds presented by Lowe's. Lowe's knows Sundays are for NFL football. Earn your Sunday with Lowe's, official partner of the NFL. Man, it's fun to break news to you on this show that could go either way.

1:03:36Jason Moore:I had no idea.

1:03:38Mike Wright:Yeah, yeah. That could have been. I mean, you might have him back.

1:03:42Jason Moore:I need him. I lost Rome. It's Minnesota, right? I lost Pittman. And if I lose Seedy, I just... Three darts. All right.
