In short

Fantasy Footballers Podcast (9/18) covers Week 2 matchups, injury/news updates, and start/sit plus waiver targets.

Guests

none. Hosts are Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.

Key claims and notable examples

  • Bills vs Lions: Josh Allen is “unstoppable” (9 TD, 0 turnovers through two weeks). Lions’ defense is described as a “sieve” (71 points allowed through two weeks), but sample size is small and opponent quality matters.
  • Dalton Kincaid is a breakout story (7-95 on 8 targets) with design usage (Knox TD set up by Allen’s read).
  • DJ Moore injury: left shoulder AC joint sprain; concern for availability this week.
  • News: Zay Flowers returned to practice but limited; Joe Burrow expected to play; Chris Olave hamstring (monitor); Nico Collins likely out (grade 1 hamstring); Michael Pittman DNP/“injured doghouse”; Ladd McConkey rib injury (possible active); Kalen Black groin (joke about groin/stretch sites).
  • Matchup focus: Jaguars at Broncos (Waddle target benchmark ~8+ targets; Parker Washington start; bench Brian Thomas Jr.); Raiders at Chargers (Herbert must respond; schedule trap talk); Cowboys vs Commanders (start Dak/Daniels; Diggs safer than McLaurin); Seahawks vs Cardinals (JSN primary; Trey McBride emphasized; Price/Algier/Love split backfield); Dolphins at 49ers (avoid Dolphins; Brock Purdy, CMC, and Caleb Douglas as PPR floor).

1:11Jason Moore:Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast. with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.

1:26Hello!

1:29Mike Wright:Welcome in. Oh, brother. Oh, brother. Friday, September 18th, the Fantasy Footballers Podcast. Getting you ready for the weekend. Get out of here, Jason. You're booing me? It's not fair.

1:53Jason Moore:It's jealousy. It's disgusting. It's absolutely disgusting.

1:57Mike Wright:Well, we didn't get, I mean, we didn't get 130. We didn't even get into the game. 113 points? Not quite, but we did get 72 points last night.

2:04Jason Moore:You heard, I heard, and the people heard how long his intro was. how much flourish was in that introduction. He is so happy. And that, of course, makes me happy.

2:13Mike Wright:I am happy for the fantasy football players out there that had lions and bills that weren't named DJ Moore and Jameson Williams. The stallion is just. Did you have any, Andy? I did have some. Yeah. Which three did you have? I had Josh Allen.

2:28Jason Moore:Oh, okay.

2:29Mike Wright:I had Amon Ross St. Brown. Oh, a couple of toddies. And then the lowest scorer on my team, kind of a stinker. Must be a bad player. Jameer Gibbs, yes. So I have 103 fantasy points on Thursday. With three players. Well, I mean, look, this is not – I don't think anybody would be surprised that Josh Allen and Jameer Gibbs in Amon Ross St. Brown had a nice afternoon, evening, in Buffalo at Highmark Stadium. What a game it was. Josh Allen, 248-3 with two more rushing touchdowns, 69 rushing yards, and now has nine touchdowns, zero turnovers through two weeks. I think that's an MVP start so far.

3:07Jason Moore:Oh, it certainly is. He seems unstoppable right now. The Lions' defense seems unstoppable in a different way. Hey, they're back for us.

3:19Andy Holloway:Thank you, Detroit. Yeah, they – Sorry, Detroit fans, because that's not going to work out.

3:25Mike Wright:41-31 Bills. Jared Goff was a spot start. He ended up with a monstrous game. He did. Four touchdowns, 327 yards in the comeback attempt. Gibbs just 16 for 52 on the ground. They bottled him up after Montgomery scored thrice against Buffalo last week. But Gibbs had 6 for 61 through the air. Had a touchdown. Amon Ra has been – I mean, he's got four touchdowns through two weeks. 13 targets. Jameson Williams.

3:51Jason Moore:Yeah, I was going to say, Amon Ra is picking up for the slack of Jameson Williams, who is – goodness gracious, get it together, man.

3:58Mike Wright:Two for 33 for Jamo. Another drop in this one. Dalton Kincaid. Oh! seven for 95 you saw dj moore go out early in this one that was that was a huge bummer i mean everybody played dj moore after last week and he dropped the ball in the end zone and ends up with an ac joint sprain leaves the game doesn't come back i think he technically had negative fantasy points because he had like one carry for negative one yards and the latest report there you know will he be available this week i'm meaning no but it could happen and he's it's not a broken

4:32Andy Holloway:collarbone that was a fear that i mean it seems like good news honestly like to be like oh you're hurt but when he was crumpled i mean we all if you we've all watched football long enough to be like oh it's collarbone and immediately okay what's a collarbone six weeks or more yeah so it did the fact that you're like oh maybe one game that would be very good news yeah james cook was

4:57Mike Wright:awesome 21 for 135 and one although he did have a couple of the like they gave him his touchdown finally at the end of that game but previously it was alan a couple of times around the goal line but he was great and and i don't i don't have any stress going into the weekend anymore i mean this is this is wild yeah the the the lions defensive performance in this game though does i mean i said it this morning in our slack channel i was like this this helps me understand baltimore minus eight and a half at home because the Lions defense through two weeks is a sieve. And you look at what Shuck did in the second half, and it was awesome.

5:36Mike Wright:But going to Baltimore against a different defense will be more of a challenge. I kind of get it. But this is how our – like this is – you need multiple weeks of data to kind of start to fill in, you know, the answers to these defenses that are good and which ones are bad.

5:52Jason Moore:Well, they ended up – the Lions ended up with more defensive injuries, which is going to hurt them going forward. However, you also have to account for the fact that this is the Bills. Like, it's not just, oh, they're a sieve. Are the Texans? No. You know, the Texans just got walloped by the Bills. So maybe it's both and the Saints and Shuck are really good. It's still a really small sample. But they did give up 71 points through two weeks. And so, yeah, it is both and. Pay attention. Try to remember all of it over the next couple of weeks. because once you're a month into the season, I think you really could start playing matchups and understanding where things are at.

6:33Jason Moore:Two matchups, a little early.

6:35Mike Wright:Yeah, this was awesome. What a game. I mean, it delivered. It delivered the magic. It did. It was awesome. And, you know, beautiful new stadium. Game was electric. It was awesome. The Lions kept it close enough to where the Bills had to keep playing. That was my worry halfway through the game. Sure. If you had Lions players, you're like, well. Like, even them going out there and scoring on that last drive and going onside, I wasn't sure they were going to try to score on that drive.

7:00Jason Moore:When it went into the half, it was like, oh, this game is over. There's not going to be anything from the Lions. The Lions are going to disappoint, you know, universally. I had to watch the game afterwards. I had my son's show. So I knew what was going to happen. Like, I knew the score at halftime. I knew, you know, that the Bills won. And then watching it, after knowing that, I was like, This has got good replay value because these guys are awesome. And Dalton Kincaid genuinely I think is one of the biggest stories. Eight targets, seven for 95. He's getting the yardage. He's getting the targets.

7:32Jason Moore:He's getting everything that we had hoped and dreamed.

7:35Mike Wright:You talked about Kincaid all offseason as, hey, this guy is not dealing with these chronic injuries he's dealt with in the past. And, yeah, it's two weeks. Stay healthy, Dalton. But right now he's delivering on your promises.

7:48Andy Holloway:And there was even more. The Dawson Knox touchdown was a design play for Dalton Kincaid. Josh Allen was booting out, but the defender out of three. That defender had to choose between three things. He chose the right guy. Yeah. Yes. The best thing he could do was cover Dalton Kincaid and hope that the rest of his teammates could take the other two options. The other two options remained wide open. Yeah, running it in. Josh Allen has decided that he will be a benevolent king, and he will give Dawson knocks.

8:20Jason Moore:It was really a gracious decision. He could have just jaunted in.

8:24Andy Holloway:He had to afterwards be like, you're welcome. Yeah.

8:27Mike Wright:You know that was my touchdown. You're getting dinner. I've never said this before, but I was impressed with Keon Coleman throughout the game as well. DJ Moore, if he misses time, Palmer, Coleman, Shakir, maybe it's too many mouths to feed with the tight ends, but Keon Coleman, six for 63, caught all six of his targets, broke his ankle in half and then was fine the next play. I don't know how that happened. He went down in a heap, and it was like DJ Moore and him got hurt back-to-back, and then all of a sudden he was fine.

8:54Andy Holloway:It'll be something to watch, though, because that could be one of those ankle sprain that you can play through at the moment, but then you miss a week.

9:02Jason Moore:Yeah, and I'm sure our audience will not, but don't overreact to Joshua Palmer getting a touchdown in back-to-back weeks. This was like one giant, pretty broken play.

9:12Andy Holloway:It was like the DJ Moore touchdown last week.

9:15Jason Moore:All right, it's Friday.

9:21Mike Wright:Foot Clan Friday.

9:26Mike Wright:We love you, Foot Clan. That's why every Friday we give a$100 gift card away to FantasyChamps.com to a lucky Foot Clan supporter from JoinTheFoot.com. This week's winner, Sir Flopalot. Oh, man. These are always fun. Wait a minute.

9:39Jason Moore:LeBron? LeBron is watching?

9:43Andy Holloway:Jason, I had a Luka joke lined up, and you went LeBron. I mean, they both. Yeah, but we hate one.

9:51Mike Wright:They're king and queen of the flops. I would have gone Embiid. Sir Flopalot, congrats. We'll send you that$100 gift card. Thank you for supporting the show. Let's talk some NFL news. News and notes from around the league. Nice little injury update. Zay Flowers returning to practice on Friday. Zaymond. Zaymond? It's like Raymond? Yeah. Oh, man. His birth name, Zaymond? Oh, brother, you're throwing me for a loop now. Yeah, everybody loves Zaymond. What? Oh, crap. Throwing you for a loop as in maybe you get to play a really good player? Yeah, shut up. DJ Moore exited with a left shoulder AC joint sprain.

10:33Mike Wright:We talked about it. I had a plan. Bengals expect Joe Burrow to play. Your plan was Devon Vele, right? Oh, no, he's playing regardless.

10:40Andy Holloway:Oh, okay. Because he's a superstar.

Read the full transcript

10:41Mike Wright:Nick Underhill said Chris Olave, hamstring left, practices of cross-field. You were talking about Devon Vele?

10:47Andy Holloway:Yeah, I know.

10:48Mike Wright:Olave, though, the hamstring, we need to keep an eye on that. Hamstrings are popping up right now. Joe Burrow expected to play the back injury. Hopefully he'll be fine. His back's just tight.

10:58Andy Holloway:What are you going to do?

10:58Mike Wright:Nico Collins is not going to play, right? Isn't that the news we got this morning? Yeah, I mean, he's not practicing today.

11:04Jason Moore:He's got a grade one hamstring issue. I can't fathom he played. The report we got was the expectation is he'll be out. and genuinely I know Dalton Schultz the doctor Dr. Schultz is your start of the week I don't expect him I can't expect him to have more than 50 yards but he might have 50 receptions I mean he is going to be peppered with targets

11:27Mike Wright:Xavier Hutchinson I think had 6 targets last week and then you remove a primary target he'd be someone, Jalen Knoll that's the hard part is there's a bunch of different people Booty Nico Collins did not practice on Thursday not seen practicing on Friday. We talked about it. Jalen Coker limited on Thursday with the ankle. Michael Pittman, this one, not practicing on Friday, was a DNP yesterday and is in the, he is firmly in the I'm injured doghouse for Aaron Rodgers.

11:53Jason Moore:Yes, he is. Aaron Rodgers, if you listen to him this offseason, he talked glowingly about Roman Wilson and DK Metcalf and Pat Friermuth and then was like, and then Pittman, you know, he hasn't been around. I mean, he was so clearly not happy with Pittman's unavailability due to injury. Was this the injury he was dealing with through? I don't remember what specific injury Pittman had. This is foot. I don't remember. Maybe Kyle does. I thought it was more soft tissue. But yeah, Kyle, if you can look up what Pittman missed a lot of the camp with.

12:25Mike Wright:I think he might be out this week and then you're talking the muth might get luth again. Yeah, I mean, we're late in the week for Pittman to

12:32Jason Moore:be gone. And also DK Metcalf, who we talked about, he had one of the highest expected fantasy points. They were targeting him. They were giving him valuable targets, deep targets. It didn't work out because as Mike would say, he sucks. What? I would never say that. But I would say that Metcalf seems like a fine play.

12:51Andy Holloway:Oh, he's a good play this week. Honestly, because there's leagues out there where people you glossed over, but Roman Wilson, like 16 % target share last week. Aaron Rodgers seems to already trust him. It's, I've smelled stinkier trash in my day.

13:12Jason Moore:Yeah, so Pittman was a hamstring through camp. Oh, so this is even worse for him. It's just a new part of the leg.

13:18Mike Wright:Yeah, I mean, that's not good. Is a foot part of the leg? No.

13:23Jason Moore:No? That's a real, you sure?

13:24Mike Wright:Your foot bone's connected to the leg bone. Yeah, otherwise it would just be your leg bone.

13:28Jason Moore:Okay, all right, good. I didn't know. No, I know you do. So your hand is not part of your arm. Yeah, that makes sense.

13:34Mike Wright:He's just working through it. Yeah, that'd be. We're working through the science textbooks right now. Biology 401. Oh, very, very. Kalen Black. Super. This sucks. Wait, what? Kalen Black, groin injury.

13:45Andy Holloway:No.

13:46Jason Moore:Seriously? Butterfly Stretch. Let me check the website.

13:49Mike Wright:Hold on. Let me check a couple of these websites. What? Let's see here. He is on the groinindex.com, but let me check butterflystretch.com. Is he there as well? He is also on butterflystretch.com.

13:59Jason Moore:Ah, stretching it.

14:00Andy Holloway:Oh, we got Jason's name on it. That's probably for the best. Yeah. Jason Morgan.

14:04Jason Moore:I'm just trying to teach people how to avoid those groin injuries. It's simple.

14:08Andy Holloway:Groin injury prevention.

14:11Mike Wright:We need to get the URL up there just for people that might not understand. Lad McConkie did not practice again on Thursday. Worked off to the side with trainers. I would not expect, when you have a rib injury, I'm not saying Lad's going to play, but what I'm saying is if he's going to play, I don't think you would have seen a different path to playing this week because a rib injury, you're not going to take hits. You're not going to go out there and take hits until game time.

14:34Jason Moore:This is the last update we can give other than Sunday Live. Make sure you follow on YouTube, and we'll be there an hour before kickoff. But I don't think that the advice could change from now until then. Let's say Ladd is active. Do you play him, and who do you play him over?

14:48Mike Wright:Yeah, I would say you play an active Ladd McConkie after what we saw last week, and I would say he falls pretty much right into where he would have been. Oh, yeah? Yeah, I'm not going to discount it. If they think he's good enough to go out there and the medical people say, look, this is something people normally play through, I think the PPR stuff's going to be there.

15:10Jason Moore:To me, there are some guys out there that I would have played. I would have played Ladd if he was healthy over Mike Evans, Parker Washington, T. Higgins.

15:18Mike Wright:Yeah, I'd play all three of those over him.

15:20Jason Moore:Yeah, okay, so let's go a little deeper. Devontae Adams or Ladd?

15:26Mike Wright:I'd probably I think Ladd with the heavy home favorites again I'm going to play Ladd

15:31Andy Holloway:the waiver sensation Jalen Coker he's got his own injury he does I would definitely go Ladd there

15:39Mike Wright:really cool story here Michael Pennix throwing to practice squad receivers right now while Cooper Rush takes majority of throws with starters while they hope that Tua can somehow play what a disaster would you play Pat Friermuth over Kyle Pitts probably yeah i just i just had that thought i just had that realization right here right now

15:59Jason Moore:i mean he should be out there in most situations yeah um luckily for me it doesn't even matter

16:07Andy Holloway:even if you're like i'm just gonna play pitch i am i don't i'm not gonna make your team when you have 100 points from three players on thursday night yeah we get it maybe i won't play any Just bench him. I'll bench Pitts. Out of respect.

16:20Mike Wright:Yeah, just to motivate.

16:20Andy Holloway:But for those out there struggling at the table, my process is like, of course, something crazy could happen for Kyle Pitts, but I don't care about that. I'm not playing him with Cooper Rush.

16:36Mike Wright:The one thing that I'll say is that the Pittsburgh defense is not the Carolina defense that gave up 59 points. So there's a world where I think Carolina will score against Atlanta, and I think Atlanta will be able to score, even with Cooper Rush, against Carolina. So, I mean, what's the over-under of that game? Do we have it? Is that only like 40-41? That's got to be. But they're heavy. They're three-and-a-half-point favorites.

16:59Jason Moore:Drake London is the biggest question mark to me. I mean, Pitts is an easy guy to swap out, right? You've got Dalton Schultz that's fine on the waiver wires. Grab him, play him, Hunter Henry, whoever. All the names we've been mentioning. But Drake London's a guy that, you know, that was your second pick in a draft. And it's like Terry McLaurin, my start of the week, or Drake London, who's a way better player, more investment. Terry. Yeah.

17:25Andy Holloway:Terry. Terry against Dallas. You got to do it. Process-wise.

17:28Mike Wright:43.5 point over under for that game. 23 to 20 is the implied point total. Carolina favored. There you go. Brock Bauer's not practicing again on Thursday, so he's so healthy that he's not playing.

17:42Jason Moore:And he's second now. Where he's second to second, guys. I hate to stop. You hate. I know what you're going to say. Wait, can I guess? Yeah, you can guess. You hate that right now you're hating Kubiak. Yes. I knew it. Yes. Because it's like we want to love Kubiak. He's such a brilliant mind. He is doing this to us. Don't be a turd. Like, you don't need to do it this way.

18:05Andy Holloway:No. Not everyone. Like, this isn't the standard. You could just, like, I don't know.

18:10Jason Moore:There's plenty of coaches out there that are brilliant. A little more honesty. That don't have to, like, you know. I think about what a tight squeeze of information Aaron Glenn keeps. And it's like, okay. Is that how you want to do things? Oh, that's why he's winning.

18:25Mike Wright:I will remind people with all these injuries and late decisions, Mike will be live an hour before kickoff on Sunday on YouTube, youtube.com slash the fantasy footballers for Sunday live. 20:22Jason Moore:fantasy forecast presented by prize picks

20:27Mike Wright:can i can i like talk a little bit about my mindset with my super team for a second because i want to just deal with it can you mute him like we've done this show no you can't this is not bragging but we may cut you off at any moment that's fine uh what i'm keep it clean we've done this show for so long we've played fantasy for 20 plus years i'm saying this is like a different like i didn't think there was something i haven't seen before but with i've never had a team that looks this good on paper and should be good but it's a 17 week season so i don't even know how to feel about them playing well now because there's injuries and there's things that...

21:00Mike Wright:Dude, just go to sleep. Don't worry about it. Yeah, you think I'll be fine? I think you should just coast. Just rest on your laurels. I'm so used to being a neurotic trader. No.

21:08Jason Moore:You don't need to.

21:09Mike Wright:I sent like 12 trades out this morning and deleted them all. I did. I sent a bunch out because I don't know what else to do. I normally wake up on Monday and trade. So trade.

21:18Jason Moore:Yeah, trade away.

21:20Mike Wright:Well, I tried. People turned down my heels. No matter what you

21:21Jason Moore:do.

21:22Mike Wright:It won't matter.

21:23Jason Moore:It feels like it right now.

21:25Mike Wright:Yesterday we talked through the Panthers-Falcons game we just mentioned the Vikings Bears Eagles Titans Steelers Patriots Packers Jets Browns Buccaneers Saints Ravens Bengals Texans that's how we uh that's what we covered yesterday seven more matchups today starting with the Jacksonville Jaguars who look great in week one want to know against the Denver Broncos who continue their gauntlet of a schedule to start the year Broncos own one Vegas line Denver minus two and a half at home over unders 45 and a half in this one Jags won 34 to 10 Chiefs beat the Broncos 31 to 10 so bounce back do we expect it I mean the tackling by the Broncos was some of the worst statistically in history and so frustrating the worst I've seen with my eyeballs it was insane they looked pitiful but they are well coached and a good team and should bounce back and they're at home and they're favored so how much do you expect to see the bounce back and where does that translate in terms of fantasy like we've had our week one high draft picks that have failed the colston lovelands of the world waddle's in that category yeah he seems like the biggest question mark to me on this team right now is like do you have the same like loveland you have no qualms throw him right back out there let's go do you feel the same about waddle uh not i'm not as

22:45Andy Holloway:strong as loveland but i'm letting more than one game happen the guy with the brand new team it was definitely a bummer but I mean he's they brought him in for a reason and I don't think that the the while the Jags were awesome against the Browns I want to see their defense against not Deshaun Watson before I start really formulating that opinion so Waddle is right back into the lineup for me

23:17Mike Wright:just for Sutton who is seemingly like the least popular player that could exist because pat bryant's sexy and exciting and waddles the new arrival uh he led the team in snaps at wide receiver courtland sutton had more than waddle he had more than pat bryant um i just just noticed that he also had a target share that just trailed pat bryant so i don't think the team looks at sutton i don't think they look at it as a uh it's it's this guy or that guy right it's it's everybody one big group that's been a problem before with mims and franklin and guys getting involved and we expected

23:54Jason Moore:sutton to do it so this will be a week to me where if jalen wattle doesn't have eight targets i will start being really worried that it will not necessarily be a a one a alpha that we're expecting like we expected with the draft capital they gave up to get him the money like they're saying hey he's our he's our drake london he's our jsn he's our our leader of the wide receiver room and the target share needs to go through him this matchup is very different than the kansas city chiefs i mean we don't know what the jags defense is because they played the browns week one but if you look at last year they were pretty doggone good against the run most of the year and they were just an average team against the pass so this is an average nfl matchup there's a team that should be able to score on the Broncos because they're a good defense and that could get in the way of a wide receiver.

24:44Jason Moore:So to me, this matchup is like the perfect recipe for your average game where you can pass the ball. Does Jalen Waddell get eight-plus targets? Is he like the one for the offense, or is he one of the pieces in the offense?

25:02Mike Wright:Are you playing Parker Washington on the other side over him? Yeah. Yeah, I am. so yeah i i mean 45 and a half point over under it's not you know it's fine it's good it it makes me wonder you know rj harvey he had 51 of the snaps at running back he is questionable right now he's dealing with the yoo-hoo that'd be a hamstring yeah when you put it like that though it sounds like something else um if he's out we might finally see jonah coleman on the field

25:30Jason Moore:it's true and i think that's exciting uh i don't think that there's a world you can start him i'm not even sure if you can start jk dobbins this week like i said this is a team that last year was very good against the run you can start i guess with rj harvey out if he's out dobbins is

25:45Mike Wright:okay but i'm not bullish on him really yeah i would think that dobbins will get more well i'm

25:50Andy Holloway:pretty interested in dobbins if harvey misses though this is that's the window that jonah coleman needs and like because jonah coleman has to get on field get some tape start earning the trust. He has been kind of the biggest concern for the success of Dobbins. If an injury like this happens to Harvey, I don't think, once the genie's out for Jonah Coleman, I think that's what ends up happening. But for this week, Dobbins will be in my starting lineup.

26:22Mike Wright:I like Baysall Tootin a lot this week, although there was a report this morning that LaQuint Allen is going to get more and more third down snaps according to Liam Cohen. That's fine. So we'll see what happens there. Parker Washington Washington is a start. Brian Thomas Jr. to me is a must bench this week. I would not mess around with the shoulder injury. He got knocked out early last week. Yeah, I agree. A good defense. I think you can find another option out there like Valey. He's the like – Valey seems to be the litmus test of like the spot start this week. He does. But I mean Pat Bryant on the other side.

26:52Mike Wright:Would you play him over Brian Thomas Jr.?

26:53Andy Holloway:Yes, I would. Okay. Pat Bryant looks like he's in the – like Troy Franklin. Jason. Hey, it's Franklin. Yeah, I mean, if you want to go ahead and hit that.

27:04Mike Wright:Sometimes you do it for the last time.

27:06Andy Holloway:Yeah. Sometimes you know it's getting retired. Troy Franklin's role in that offense last year, he got a ton of targets. And it's like, I think that's Pat Ryan's job now, where even if Cortland Sutton's in there, you know, running on the field more, Pat Ryan's going to get more targets. And then just for Basial Tootin, Tootin is a tackle-breaking machine. Like, this is part of what he does. Kenneth Walker, tackle breaking machine. I mean, the fantasy algebra doesn't always work out. But Denver proved they can tackle you.

27:41Mike Wright:And if you're good at it, even when people do tackle well, yeah, that's a good point. Trevor Lawrence, I think it's not the best start matchup-wise on the road in Denver. But I imagine if you started him last week and got 245-4, you're going to roll him right back out there and trust Liam Cohen. And then Bo Nix, I'd find someone else to kind of lead my team until he proves that he can get it going. By the way, a quick update for you since we covered the game yesterday. I'll tackle this real quick. A further update on Zaymond Flowers. He did return to practice but did very little during the media viewing portion.

28:17Mike Wright:Spoke to teammates and coaches. Did not do any running during media viewing at all. So the full practice or back-at-practice thing, will he be limited on the official report? We have an Injury Blitz podcast that comes out Friday afternoon by Matthew Betts. I almost said Kyle Betts. It's basically the music version. They kind of merged. We are. That would imply an amount of technological advancement to Matthew Betts that he doesn't possess. Kyle just screamed, do not. Do not combine them. But there he goes. Zayflower is still very much in question. Mike, your plans now. That's so much worse. You had plans to not have flowers, and you were so bummed when flowers was available.

28:59Mike Wright:Well, but he's not available. Well, you should be happy. This is worst-case scenario. Is it? Yes. Oh, darn, the year of mine. Las Vegas.

29:10Andy Holloway:Los Angeles. Yeah, I did like when you're like, I've never seen this with my team. Super-duper champ over here.

29:17Mike Wright:How dare you? No, you know there's a big difference in what I was talking about. You ended. I'm just reminding you. I want to be in the playoffs. You didn't go into the season. Josh had a better record than you last year. Yes. That's all I'm saying. I think it's a heavy burden to bear. That's all I'm saying.

29:34Andy Holloway:I don't know why Josh is catching strays over there. Catching strays by having the best record? And then losing. Ah.

29:40Mike Wright:You just gave him the stray. It was implied. Mike is all over the place. The Raiders 1-0 against the Chargers 0-1, of course. Vegas line, Chargers minus 6.5. Overrunners 43.5. What I saw, no, I know I already hit the button once, but what I saw on tape last week from the Raiders defense in particular and the Chargers offensive line against the Cardinals brings me great concerns here.

30:08Jason Moore:There are three things that have happened in the last few days. One is the Chargers are favored by almost a touchdown. So it's like, okay, the complete forgiveness. The Chargers are going to be totally fine. And then there is the, we were looking at MVP odds after the game last night for quarterback. And right there, last on the list, you could still bet on Justin Herbert. And it's like, brother. And then we were doing our. Because they know. They know they can just, all the Herbros are like, yeah, fine, give me your money. We were doing the picks. Dumbo. We were like, every week we have like a fun little.

30:47Jason Moore:Just like an office pool for the picks. No money, just a pool where we're picking the lines. every week and I come to this matchup and I'm like what do I six and a half and I was like oh I'm you know what I'm gonna click on the Chargers I'm gonna completely forgive them and I mentioned that and then Mike's like I kind of am too but it's like it feels like we know it's a trap we are this week against the Raiders at home dude I'm gonna Chargers Herbert you have got to get it together and send a message if you don't win this game I'm about to tell you the

31:21Mike Wright:story of stories you ready yeah if you don't win this game at home against las vegas because by the way the cardinals were supposed to be the easy one and this one too let me tell you what they're doing next oh their schedule yeah just listen just watch the plane fly around the country here you ready week three at buffalo oh but don't worry jason week four you want to get back on track you just started off with a tough start at seattle okay wait what they go from but don't Don't worry. To the Super Bowl champions. Then you play Denver, Kansas City, the Rams, Houston, Baltimore the next week. What?

31:56Mike Wright:I'm not joking. What? Buffalo, Seattle, Denver, Kansas City, the Rams, Houston. Four of them on the road. You got. In Los Angeles against the Rams.

32:07Jason Moore:They'll be back in this building. You have two days to figure everything out because that's it. You got two days left to fix it all.

32:15Mike Wright:So, yeah, this is completely the most important game of their season right now because you are staring down bye week winlessness potentially. You could be 0-6 going into the bye. It's not impossible. Holy moly. After this week, three of your four games are at Buffalo, at Seattle, at Kansas City.

32:34Jason Moore:You have to imagine they are decent underdogs in all three of those. Yes, yes. Wow.

32:40Mike Wright:So, yeah, Mike McDaniel, he said it was a case of humble pie on losing to the Cardinals. How dare you? Humble pie tastes terrible. How dare you? All right, start sit decisions in this one. The Hampton thing, I think last week it's like, what are you watching? This week, what are you looking for confirmation on or continuing to keep an eye on to see what your decisions are? Hampton this week, that's where my eyes are. I want to see this guy play well. there has been some talk in in the past you know three or four days about the scheme fit not necessarily being right um lad mcconkey the injury him not out there they looked way worse on offense without him out there mike you're throwing your hat in with quentin johnson this

33:29Andy Holloway:week yeah i mean understand what it is but yeah i think you can play him yeah and then uh other

33:38Mike Wright:than you know herbert you going back to him this week are you trying to pivot i'm going back the

33:45Andy Holloway:you know just like the we were saying about jackson playing the browns raiders played miami who miami's miami's probably going to end up being the worst team in the nfl so let's see some more from from the raiders and until until they give me a reason to really believe and not target them then i'm going to do it so i'll play herbert

34:08Mike Wright:Jinty was great in week one got the ball a lot in the receiving game you can play him Bauer's probably not playing you probably have better options than Michael Mayer although he led the team in targets last week so he's not the worst I don't think it's complicated on the Raiders side in terms of starts correct I mean you're not playing a wide out on the road six point underdogs you're not playing cousins you're not playing probably not playing a tight end so you know Jack Bash is on pace for 17 touchdowns

34:37Andy Holloway:thank you thank you for that

34:39Mike Wright:the Washington Commanders 0-1 taking on the Dallas Cowboys who are 0-1 Vegas line Dallas minus 3.5 at home over under 50.5

34:48Andy Holloway:as Kyle would call it the backwards hat versus the visor that's right yeah

34:52Mike Wright:you've got Dan Quinn with the backwards cap looks so cool and then the visor on Schottenheimer you know the idea of visors is very funny

35:02Andy Holloway:because you're like you're not going to cover the head yeah you're like i want to shade the eyes but it's it's a little too warm on the top of the dome how do we possibly maybe you don't want hat hair but you know you still get it visor hair man yeah it pushes the worst part of hat hair is the front when everything is is is divoted to the back yeah it's a forced uh you know front cowlick

35:23Mike Wright:cowlick yeah um all right start sit decisions in this one dak jayden daniels i think they're both in your lineup, right? Dak has got a...

35:32Andy Holloway:Dak is the highest projection of the week on prize picks with 266.5 yards. Yeah. I think I would agree with this.

35:40Mike Wright:I mean, these were two of the worst defenses in football last year. And, you know, the Commanders definitely didn't get blown out in week one against Philly. I think they looked okay, especially stopping Saquon. But, yeah, you're starting all your stars in this one. JCM, Mike. Yep. Your start of the week. Jason, you're going to give Terry McLaurin a pat on the butt and say, hey, this is your week against Dallas. 50 and a half, man.

36:05Jason Moore:Yeah, he should be absolutely fine. I think that means that Biggs should be fine.

36:09Mike Wright:And I think that means Antonio Williams is interesting to keep an eye on.

36:13Andy Holloway:There was a – can't credit it, I apologize, but before the season started, you know, it was – I don't necessarily think it was like a bold take, but it was a – like these are things that are a little spicier, but we truly think can happen. out of Washington, they're like, Diggs is probably going to lead this team in receptions and yards and stuff just based off of what he does versus Terry McLaurin.

36:38Jason Moore:So is Diggs the safer play between Diggs and McLaurin? Oh, I think it is. And McLaurin is a higher upside? Yeah. So would you start Diggs or Vele?

36:47Mike Wright:He's got both. Mike has both. He's probably starting both.

36:50Andy Holloway:I will be starting both. But if you had to pick one, I'll play Diggs.

36:56Mike Wright:Me too. Really? Yeah, I would definitely play Diggs. I would play Diggs over McLaurin for sure in any situation. Man. But that's also, you know, it feels hot. Yeah, I don't know, man. I'm very interested in what this offense is going to turn into with these three guys. Dallas is always easy. Dak, CeeDee, George, put them in your lineup. Javante Williams, yep, put them in your lineup.

37:21Jason Moore:The only one that's difficult for some people out there is Jake Ferguson. He's a name that people think, oh, should I start him? And probably not.

37:28Andy Holloway:probably not he's still running tons of routes so you might get a

37:31Jason Moore:it's a great matchup the commanders have been bad against the tight end position so there's that going for you but no he hasn't hit double digit fantasy points since week 7

37:44Mike Wright:of last year when George and CeeDee are available Fergie takes a backseat Seattle's 1-0 Jason taking on the Arizona Cardinals who are also 1-0 pretty much the same as the champs

37:56Jason Moore:as everybody saw coming

37:57Mike Wright:Vegas line, Seattle minus 3.5 on the road. The over-under is 40.5. This is the second lowest total of Week 2, and it makes sense because it's part one, backup quarterback Drew Locke. Part two, great defense against Arizona. Should be able to slow them down. Could the Cardinals start 2-0? Seems that it is in the realm of possibility. Yeah, because they are 1-0.

38:25Andy Holloway:Right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The math check's out there. I was with you last week of the almost upset because the spread was just – Ten and a half was too much. It's too egregious against a team that has a potent offense. This one, though, the Seattle defense is just so elite that it would surprise me a lot.

38:51Mike Wright:Well, then does that impact your start decisions for Arizona? because Jeremiah Love, is he a lock in your lineup?

38:57Andy Holloway:It's brutal. Look, the prize picks projections on both Jeremiah Love and Algier are pretty much neck and neck when it comes to rushing yards. 37.5 for Love, 36.5 for Tyler Algier. Those are not high numbers. No, they are. For Jeremiah Love, the nice thing was, I mean, they gave him the carry inside the five. I think they were inside the five when he got the touchdown. Whatever, they were very close. And the targets are going to go to Jeremiah Love. but this will be a pretty split backfield. I think you're flipping a coin week to week right now the way things are between who's more valuable of Algier or Jeremiah Love, which feels disgusting.

39:37Andy Holloway:Cardinals at home.

39:39Mike Wright:Jadarian Price had 48 % of snaps. Would you play Price over either Cardinal in this matchup? That is so brutal. Hampton got slowed down last week by Arizona, very surprisingly.

39:50Jason Moore:It really seems like you right now can expect kind of 50 %-ish of the snaps for Price. The matchup is still significantly better. I know Hampton was... So you're getting the green, though.

40:03Mike Wright:Yeah, I mean, the Walter Nolan addition for the Cardinals versus what... They didn't have him for a lot of last year. I think that's making a difference on the interior.

40:10Andy Holloway:So, Andy, where's your confidence with Price in terms of the goal line?

40:15Mike Wright:Not high.

40:16Andy Holloway:No, I mean, but it's not high for Love either. Does he have a salami problem?

40:20Mike Wright:Yeah, I mean, I think one guy has a salami problem, and one guy's got an Algier problem. But I think Jeremiah Love is the better player, and that's the player I would go.

40:28Jason Moore:That's how I have him. I was looking at my rankings. I have him 24 and 25. Who hasn't had a salami problem at some point in time?

40:36Mike Wright:I mean, yeah, who amongst us? Who amongst us? Jackson Smith and Jigba, yep. Michael Wilson, Marvin Harrison. You got one of these guys. You got to play a cardinal receiver. Throw Kendrick Bourne in the mix. Which guy do you start? Michael Wilson. yeah see that was very definitive because it wasn't before week one and that says something

40:55Andy Holloway:when you marv marv is a player i'm not dropping marv not yet but the he is definitely one where it's like i have to see it happen before i have any level of confidence so here's the weird thing

41:12Mike Wright:so seattle right favored super bowl champs great defense is jsn the only player you're playing on this team yeah pretty much i mean are you trying to find an alternate to jared darian price no i

41:21Jason Moore:think he's a he's a fine running back too yeah i've got him at running back 24 so he's or 25 so he's playable but i don't uh i'm not excited about price i mean genuinely i'm not excited about most players in this game you talked about at the beginning it's one of the lowest over unders on the week obviously jsn is great because of his talent and also because his target market share is outrageously otherworldly. He's just the whole offense. Trey McBride, JSN, those are the only two people I really want to start in this game.

41:54Mike Wright:Marvin Harrison, where are you right now after one week? He ran go routes. He was bracketed. He looked okay. Going back and watching the film. Was it a drop?

42:02Jason Moore:Obviously, he had a drop. It was a pretty okay drop.

42:04Mike Wright:I rewatched that. That was not an easy catch. That was a blast across the middle, way behind him. I'm not sure he could have caught it.

42:11Jason Moore:Yeah, depending on it was much different angle made it look much more difficult. I think Marvin Harrison will be involved. He was open on a lot of routes. And the thing is, is he wasn't necessarily targeted, but the plays still worked. I mean, you had Kendrick Bourne with eight catches, Michael Wilson with five. The offense was humming, but I don't think Harrison did anything bad. I don't, you know, I believe that in certain weeks he's going to be fine. And this isn't the matchup I want to be like, I'm going to call my shot on Marv. I think Marv is involved. I think Marv will get, you know, more than 35 yards.

42:53Jason Moore:But I don't sit there and see he's going to have 102 touchdowns.

42:58Mike Wright:Ad break coming up. We'll get into the Dolphins and 49er game. By the way, play Trey McBride. If you weren't planning on it, please do that. Play him. He's pretty good at football. And so far, pass rate above expectation, like Arizona Jacoby Brissett. It was still high. The drum continues to beat for that offense. They look good in week one. It would be a huge win against Seattle in week two, and it'll probably be more of a dogfight, I think, this week.

45:52Mike Wright:the Miami Dolphins. Oh, boy. 0-1 with a rough week one. Go to San Francisco. 0-2. I mean, this one is wild. San Francisco, it's not 13.5 anymore. It's San Francisco minus 12.5. The over-under is 44.5.

46:08Jason Moore:Cowards.

46:09Mike Wright:I am shocked that the line moved that direction.

46:11Jason Moore:Cowards.

46:12Mike Wright:So that's an implied point total for the Dolphins of 16. And that's a bad number. 28 for the 49ers. so in the Brock Purdy era where 49ers teams have been favored by 10 or more points it's happened nine times they were nine and one and they scored more than 27 points in all nine games they deliver when heavily favored and um it's a hard it's a hard bet to say Miami is going to deliver we are we are gathering information on these rookie wideouts I think for Miami that you know Dale Douglas looked amazing in week one. 94 receiving yards in your debut. That is the third highest debut for a day two wide receiver over the last decade.

46:55Mike Wright:Chris Bell, only 52 % of snaps in week one. Two targets, one drop, one catch. And then Malik Washington still had a number of targets in this game. Didn't see a lot from Dulcich. That was something we were watching in week one. Yeah, it was. But they're probably going to be playing from behind. You're looking at your value for A-Chan to be coming in the receiving game or the big play. So it's hard to have much of an expectation. You don't bench Devon Achan, but the other guys in this matchup, you're not wanting to play any of them.

47:25Jason Moore:Yeah, the only one that I might put out there in that vele tier would be Caleb Douglas. If you're getting as much work as he got in his first week as a rookie, you're going to be down and you're going to be throwing the ball a lot. I expect targets to go to him. with 16 implied points. You don't assume that he's going to have a lot of huge fantasy success. So he's like just a PPR floor play. That would be the second player on this offense outside of A-Chan. I guess Malik Willis in certain situations because of his rushing upside would be there. But, yeah, I mean, you just don't want Dolphins. The team stinks.

48:04Mike Wright:You want some 49ers? Yes, please. By the way, Malik in that stinky week one still ended up as the quarterback 13 on the week.

48:12Jason Moore:And he looked bad, in my opinion. I don't think he played well. Which is, you can make the argument like, oh, that's good news. I mostly agree with you. Because he can figure it out, get more.

48:25Mike Wright:220 passing yards, 39 rushing yards.

48:27Jason Moore:Well, I just mean his accuracy. I felt like there were a lot of bad throws. But at the same time, he's dealing with two rookies playing a ton of snaps, one of which he didn't really play with through camp. So could be brighter days.

48:40Andy Holloway:I mean, to your point of like Malik Washington led the team in target share. Yep. And air yards. And Caleb Douglas was the talking point because he's the one who actually got the production. It was like Malik Washington should have had the production. But Willis didn't get it to him.

48:58Mike Wright:Brock Purdy is my start of the week. Christian McCaffrey, yes, please. Caleb Black with the injury report. Will they bring somebody else up? Will he be okay? We'll see. He was 43 % of snaps and 15 opportunities last week.

49:09Andy Holloway:I would imagine Jordan James is not a healthy scratch if Kalen Black can't play, but... I would also imagine Christian McCaffrey's just going to get all the work. I would think so.

49:18Mike Wright:I've had Jordan James on my dynasty team for three years, or two years, however long he's been in the league. I dropped in this week with Kalen Black's emergence, and I just needed to pick somebody else. It's just ironic. It's just one of those things where... I think it's going to be okay. It doesn't matter. Yeah, it doesn't matter. Mike Evans, you play Hamdebo, I think you're good there too. I think both these guys spot start to Marcus Robinson. If you're desperate, I mean, two catches last week after the departure of Stribling, you're looking for the touchdown with Robinson and George Kittle.

49:48Mike Wright:Limited practices. You're going to see more of that. Only played 46 % of snaps, but now Tongis basketball is out for the year. Yeah, I mean, Tongis not an alternative option for this team.

49:57Jason Moore:Kittle to me showed me enough to where I'm really excited for the second half of the year and also absolutely not starting them now. So he is just a roster. Schultz. Yeah. All the one Johnson.

50:09Mike Wright:Yep. Goddard. All those guys. All those guys. I'd start over.

50:12Jason Moore:Kyle Pitts or Kittle. Who's the quarterback for Cooper Rush? Then Kittle because he could get a touchdown.

50:20Andy Holloway:Harold Fannin or George Kittle.

50:21Jason Moore:Oh, that's a good one. Disgusting. Fannin.

50:24Mike Wright:Yeah, I go Fannin. Colts Sunday night football taking on the Chiefs. We get more primetime. Ken Bone Walker Chiefs minus six and a half over under 46 and a half.

50:33Andy Holloway:Good work schedule people.

50:34Jason Moore:Honestly, the schedule people all need to relish in his greatness. These first two weeks' schedule people are kicking butt. I mean, these primetime games are fantastic. Read the Eric Biennium quote.

50:46Mike Wright:Yeah, I will. This is for Mike, but it's also for everyone else out there who drafted Kenneth Walker. Eric Biennium, who Mike brought up all offseason as one of the reasons he loves Ken Walker in Kansas City. I hadn't seen this quote. You haven't seen this quote? He says, quote.

51:00Jason Moore:You want to read it? Yeah, why don't you read it? Sure. He says, quote, ideally, what did he have? 23 carries? Some people have carried a whole lot more than that. So I don't think you want to put a limit on anything. I think sky is the limit. Oh, brother. This is delightful. I mean, it's why he went to Kansas City. My bone, bro. Yeah. Oh, another. Yeah. I don't like being Eiffel Tower. I need to get Kenneth Walker in one of these leagues so I can join in. Good luck with that. I know. It's over.

51:32Mike Wright:I told you to draft him. I mean, look, barring injury, which is the story of all players, Christian McCaffrey and all these guys, he's going to be so good every week.

51:44Andy Holloway:Running back.

51:45Mike Wright:Defense and run the football.

51:47Andy Holloway:Early on in the year, for fantasy football, you want to see utilization. How are they using players? Kenneth Walker is going to be everything. Maybe he can't. What sucks about this situation is the people that, if Kenneth Walker gets hurt, which he probably will because he's playing NFL football, he's most likely going to get hurt because running bats get hurt. Goodness gracious, the victory lap on Kenneth Walker missing a game or two is going to be so obnoxious. You're like, I told you.

52:24Mike Wright:Yeah, he plays football. He's probably going to get hurt. 24 % of top 24 running backs over the last 10 years play in a complete season. So you have a three-quarter chance, 75 % chance that you're going to miss a game. Rashi Rice, guys, two for 19 last week. Troubling. Was terrible if you look at the separation scores in week one in terms of being able to get apart from the DB. I think you're going to play him in this game. I don't think you don't play Rashi Rice.

52:57Jason Moore:but you are your tempered expectations probably absolutely I think if you have Rashi Rice you are praying for a touchdown and then you are trying to ship him out of town as soon as humanly possible the utilization and and I know he's coming back from the knee injury maybe it'll completely change but I think this is an Eric Biennemi and Kenneth Walker change of offense where Rashi Rice isn't just the hey I'm going to target you pretty much every other passing play they had no one else

53:30Andy Holloway:yeah like you can you can actually throw the ball to Kenneth Walker I think as funny as it is I think

53:35Mike Wright:there's a world where Cyrus Allen is getting more and more and more snaps over the back towards the back half of the year they've talked about bringing him along really slowly what I saw from the wide receiver room in week one was we need to get a possession receiver yeah that can go out there and run a 15 yard in or something and catch the football that's not Thornton that's not Rice it's probably not Kelsey anymore I'm not telling you to go pick him up I think this is just deep league crazy deep league dynasty leagues but if I'm the Chiefs I'm like I need to get a wide receiver on this team and there have been rumors that are turning into like things I think are going to happen that Tyreek Hill will join this team by the midpoint of the season

54:13Jason Moore:I had not heard that

54:15Mike Wright:so there have been some stuff going out there a reunion is possible and if this team is cooking halfway through the year I've seen Tyreek running now and breaking our dynasty team you still got Tyreek oh my gosh Jonathan Taylor this is going to be a hard matchup but you never sit him so just play him because one play is all it takes Alec Pierce practicing on Friday so they gave him some time off but that's good to see Keenan Allen and Josh Downs I'm afraid these guys are going to kind of cannibalize each other throughout the year when you also have to mix in Tyler Warren That one was wild. And Warren, by the way, horrible week saved by the touchdown.

54:56Mike Wright:I mean, three for 13 on 93 % of snaps was disappointing to me too.

55:00Andy Holloway:Keenan Allen, the Keenan Allen Josh Downs situation of Josh Downs being out there for such a high percentage of, of drop backs and routes for the Colts. And yet Keenan Allen leading the target share, it will be something to watch. Yeah.

55:17Mike Wright:Are you playing Alec Pierce or, Or, you know, where are you with him? This is a tough matchup.

55:21Andy Holloway:I'm willing to play Pierce, but it's more of his, like, hopefully a wide receiver three.

55:26Mike Wright:I think he's a great trade-for target right now as he gets back into full snap counts. When you get half snaps and, you know, he's supposed to be their dude. And so he's coming off an injury, didn't get a lot of practice, didn't get training camp, played 59 % of snaps, was still four for 61. I mean, like, that's the name of the game for him. 15 points to a carry or a catch again like that's a target are you not where I mean I I can totally

55:52Jason Moore:see him being a target for the second half of the season but as far as this week in a tough matchup are you not worried about the fact he didn't practice on Thursday I believe um that just seems

56:05Mike Wright:yeah that's what I brought up it seems bad if you practice on Wednesday you don't practice on

56:09Jason Moore:Thursday that's why I was asking Mike if he liked it because it's a bad matchup I I would not be comfortable starting Alec Pierce. Those other guys that we've got in that Velae tier, I would throw those guys in

56:20Mike Wright:personally. You guys want to watch a Monday night game? Giants, Jackson, Dart and Company, Cam Scadaboo go to LA and take on the Rams who looked pretty bad in week one. They looked quite tired. They looked tired, but they also have missing personnel. Maybe Aaron Donald comes back this week. Maybe he doesn't, but Miles Garrett's going to be gone. In week one, they gave up 40 points to wide receivers. That's not great. We'll see what happens in this one because the Giants look great in week one. Los Angeles minus seven. The world expecting them to bounce back over under 48 points. It gives the Rams 28.

56:54Mike Wright:The Giants 20. So you expect full bounce back for the Rams in this one on the offensive side? Puka, Adams, Kyron, Corum, Stafford.

57:04Jason Moore:Yeah, I mean, we left Australia saying we're throwing the game away.

57:08Andy Holloway:Yes.

57:09Jason Moore:And it's hard to do that because we just saw them be like not show up. to a game and but i do think that that is the mentality the the most difficult one for me is davante adams because there was a world where at his age he comes in and has lost it there's also the issue of utilization versus performance where he wasn't utilized inside the 10 he wasn't on the field inside the 10 which was and is his superpower so he he scares me a little bit i'm still starting you think that's prescriptive of this team i don't i don't think that they did they did real good when they utilized them yes i feel like that was an anomaly i believe changes will come but he's the only player that what i saw in week one from the rams scares me that it might be prescriptive yeah the other guys just because the age component that you're just like the age and the weird like why would they i mean i think they'll fix the still 22 percent of the targets

58:01Mike Wright:inside the 10 stuff yeah i i would go back to him elite neighbors i mean six for 69 coming back

58:08Jason Moore:from a serious injury when like two hours before the game he was not sure he could go and play

58:16Mike Wright:Isaiah likely he's back baby yeah I mean Isaiah likely camp scataboo dart I mean it's a pretty it's a pretty clean four pack there I think dart scataboo neighbors likely keep your eyes on Malachi fields because I I just I like the dude I think he's a good player but I'm not starting him the

58:33Andy Holloway:the Camp Scadaboo route share will be something to pay attention to. He's just coming back from his injury so maybe they were trying to lessen that for him where Devin Singletary was kind of the receiving back for the team. But that was...

58:53Jason Moore:It really stunk that they didn't throw him. He's such a good pass catcher.

58:57Andy Holloway:But it's saying this is the new regime where you can't just copy paste last year's receiving work to the new to the new play caller yeah it's the play

59:09Jason Moore:caller is the issue I don't think it's the health I don't think it's coming back off the injury because they gave him tons of work they they they did not seem like they were rusting him or or giving him low snaps it seemed like on passing downs he wasn't the back they were utilizing hopefully that changes um it could have been a situation where it was Tyrone uh Tracy who was really the guy they wanted to be that and then he took himself out of the game and then they're like okay well the other pack and maybe this is having a bad month he's having a bad year um so hopefully hopefully scadaboo gets more involved i do think obviously you've got uh miles garrett on the ir right now it looks like aaron donald is trending towards playing but it's not confirmed um they're hopeful he will play monday night against the giants i don't know if that impacts whether you're, I mean, you've got to make your decisions ahead of Monday night.

1:00:00Mike Wright:I'm not sitting scataboo in any situation.

1:00:02Jason Moore:You're not sitting scataboo. I don't think you're sitting neighbors in any situation, and the question then becomes just likely. You're not sitting likely, and you're not sitting dark. So then all three are in. They're all playing.

1:00:12Mike Wright:Joe Burrow practiced on Friday. A little injury update for you. Feels good. Jalen Coker not on the injury report, so at least he seemed to tell the truth about it not being a big deal. Chigakonkwo hamstring ruled out against the Cowboys. Go ahead, Mike. Just will it into existence

1:00:26Jason Moore:Mike, you want to tell the people who I picked up In our shared dynasty league I am the Senate

1:00:31Andy Holloway:Yeah, Jason did me in a very solid Friendship move Just a connection between co-managers Ben Sennett was picked up

1:00:40Mike Wright:Let's go, baby There you go, I mean, Jesse Bates touchdown on the way Here we go Almost certainly Let's jump into the face-off

1:00:55Jason Moore:Fantasy Face-Off, presented by PrizePix.

1:01:02Mike Wright:All righty. Week one in the books. It was a successful week. We went, what is it, 10 of 12 on the picks from this section. So, Jason, it's time.

1:01:16Jason Moore:Oh, that's a very fancy wheel. We've got a new wheel. We've got a new wheel showing up behind us here. The Wheel of Jane.

1:01:26Mike Wright:All right, let's spin that wheel.

1:01:31Jason Moore:Also, I do this in protest because my lineup cashed and I got three out of four right. Cheesehead. Oh, the Lorax. Oh, the Lorax. All right.

1:01:39Andy Holloway:Jason, the trees. The trees.

1:01:41Mike Wright:First, go ahead and take care of that. What is this? Yeah, you got to take your hat off. It looks like an orange shiesty. Yeah, you got to put that over your head. Well, then. Oh, you left the glasses on. That's a way to do it.

1:01:53Jason Moore:I feel like I'm going to rob a bank.

1:01:54Mike Wright:You will have to take the glasses off anyways.

1:01:57Andy Holloway:You're going to rob a bank, but then also do some construction on the way out. Yeah. I got to stay safe.

1:02:03Mike Wright:He's working on it. He's working on it.

1:02:05Jason Moore:Get under there.

1:02:07Mike Wright:Come on. You need some help? Mentally? Yes. Oh, you look good. Oh, this is nice. I might rock this. Andy Reid? Is that you? All right. We are into it. Jason, you look great.

1:02:21Jason Moore:Thank you.

1:02:21Mike Wright:um even under protest all right let's go ahead and kick it off here also might i just say great

1:02:28Jason Moore:job us because last week you went four for four yeah four four four four four mike and i went

1:02:35Mike Wright:three for four yeah it was a nice it was a nice week all right i'm gonna kick it off here christian mccaffrey green goblin starting it off 16.5 receiving yards i'm taking the more dad that's the... Wait, how much? 16 and a half.

1:02:51Andy Holloway:That's about a free square if I've ever heard of it. Is that the first drive? Is that first reception?

1:02:57Mike Wright:Alright, Jason, who's your... Why are we not on his solo cam? I mean, what are we doing?

1:03:03Jason Moore:Alright. Loraxes get old too. Yeah. Look, Loraxes need glasses. And their glasses need glasses. My running back start of the week. Or whatever this is. That's my prospects. I'm going with Aaron Jones Sr., all alone without Jordan Mason. More than 61 and a half rushing yards. I think he gets it done on the ground. Okay.

1:03:26Andy Holloway:Does he? Okay. He does. That's spicy. I'm going with Chase Brown, Cincinnati Bengals, 21 and a half receiving yards. I will take the more.

1:03:36Mike Wright:All right. Moving to the quarterback position next, guys.

1:03:38Jason Moore:I just realized that this isn't supposed to cover my mouth. This is a lot easier. I'm like talking through fabric. You had the fabric. I had it up over my top lip.

1:03:48Andy Holloway:Because you were going to rob the bank. Yeah.

1:03:50Mike Wright:All right. I'm going Kirk Cousins. What? At the quarterback position. You don't have to do this.

1:03:55Jason Moore:And that's not a goblin?

1:03:57Mike Wright:More than 192.5 passing yards this week in LA. I like it. I'm taking Kirk Cousins.

1:04:05Jason Moore:You get a little crazy. That's right. What do you got, Lorax? All right. Well, this is my green goblin. I've got Jordan Love. Oh, you're going back to the well of the only one you lost last week. Got it. But he's going more than 183 and a half passing yards.

1:04:19Mike Wright:Okay, that's your Green Goblin? That is my Green Goblin. It would be funny if he let you down twice, though.

1:04:24Jason Moore:He threw for almost 400 yards last week. Yeah, I think they're going to let him throw the ball, and they can't really run with Marshawn Lloyd.

1:04:29Mike Wright:That seems better than the rushing attempts for him this week.

1:04:32Andy Holloway:Yeah. My Green Goblin is my quarterback as well. I'll be taking Tyler Shuck, the Shuck Daddy himself, 17 and a half pass completions. I'm going to go more. Okay, so you're going completions.

1:04:45Mike Wright:You ready for this one? Wide receiver. You told me I didn't have to do the Kirk Cousins one, right? Oh, what are you doing? Brian Thomas Jr. Oh, I want a Jalen Naylor.

1:04:54Jason Moore:You just said you did not want to start Brian Thomas Jr. 36.5 receiving yards.

1:05:00Mike Wright:I'm taking the less. Dude. Oh! All right.

1:05:05Jason Moore:What a reveal to take the lower number on the guy you don't like. Okay. Well, I've got a similar one. Marvin Harrison Jr. 34 and a half yards. What? I'm taking the more. Okay. 34 and a half. I'm taking more. I think he can get that on one reception, which he almost did last week. He'll be more involved. Is that the Are you sure it wasn't 60 and a half? Is this an issue with Jason not being able to read? What am I doing?

1:05:32Mike Wright:It's 60 and a half, Jason.

1:05:34Jason Moore:For Marvin Harrison? No, it's not. It's 34 and a half. all right it's in the screenshot that i sent you okay we'll give them the 30 marvin harrison jr 34 and a half what a disaster for the lower yards i got matthew golden because i also believe in

1:05:47Andy Holloway:jordan love this week matthew golden the 46 and a half receiving yards i will go more look at you matthew golden hey this is you know last year was the year of mike this is the year of my

1:05:58Mike Wright:forgiveness i'm going to go with another wild one for you uh trey mcbride at the tight end position 60.5 receiving yards maybe that is where the confusion that might have been confusing I'm going less I'm taking less I think Seattle's defensive focus it fits with your over Jason I'm going Trey McBride less than 60 and a half I think their elite defense will focus entirely on Trey McBride this week

1:06:25Jason Moore:I hope so I'm going to take the less okay my tight end look I'm going back to the well from last week Darren Waller who looked good, is getting more healthy, more involved. He's at 17.5 receiving yards. That feels very easy for him to pass that. Wasn't that what he was last week? Yeah, and he crushed it. So more snaps, more easy, 17.5. I'll take more. So you went to two of the same dudes as last week when you ended up Loraxed. I mean, I still cashed last week. I was the worst of three great options.

1:06:59Mike Wright:All right. Like the outcome. The outcome of this show. you're like, yeah, I like that.

1:07:03Jason Moore:But to be fair, my lineup last week where I took these two guys isn't where I lost. It was the tiebreaker lineup I had with Mike that I lost.

1:07:12Andy Holloway:That is true. Love lost for you last week. I'm going to continue to hate on the Browns. Harold Fannin Jr., six targets. Oh, interesting.

1:07:23Mike Wright:Less. Interesting. There's a lot of really interesting ones in here. Yeah, this one will be fascinating. So the Marvin Harrison receiving number is 34.5, 34.5 34.5 Let's look at him instead

1:07:38Jason Moore:If it was 64.5 I would go less I think he'll be in that range

1:07:43Mike Wright:Wow, that should be fun That was Fancy Face Off presented by PrizePix The amount of your mustache on that microphone is incredible You're going to need a cleaning crew That was Fancy Face Off presented by PrizePix with Friday Flex Win your flex Or get your net loss back in bonus lineup Prize picks, run your game.
