In short
Fantasy football Week 2 waivers and “bounce back or buns” for high-ADP players, plus early-season analysis of key games (Seahawks vs Chiefs, Broncos vs Chiefs, and waiver-relevant injuries).
Guests/hosts
Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, Mike Wright (Fantasy Footballers hosts). No additional guests appear in the transcript.
Key claims
- Kenneth Walker III’s Week 1: 23 carries for 173 yards and 2 TDs (including a passing TD), and the show questions whether he’ll keep getting work vs Charbonnet.
- Chiefs offense “recipe”: run the ball + dominant defense + limit mistakes; Mahomes’ rushing is a positive but the passing attack lacks wide receiver depth.
- Rashee Rice usage is a concern (only 2 targets in the game; touchdown helped).
- Broncos offense failed to run effectively (Dobbins/Harvey usage criticized); Bo Nix’s end-zone interception quote is mocked.
Notable examples
- “Bounce back or buns” game: Pickens bounce back; Kyle Pitts buns; Josh Downs buns; Marshawn Lloyd buns; Rashad White buns.
- Waiver targets: Kalen Black (49ers RB backup), Emmitt Johnson (Chiefs rookie), Deebo Samuel and Jalen Coker (WR), Devon Vele (top WR alternative), Dallas Goedert (top TE pickup), Juwan Johnson (goal-line TE).

Monday Night Football, every week, every game on NFL Network. Now also available with an ESPN Unlimited plan. And for the first time ever, Super Bowl 61. Marquee matchups, MVP quarterbacks, international games, the whole season start to finish. Football's on ESPN. This episode is brought to you by State Farm. Every football fan is different. Some won't wash their lucky mustard-stained jersey until the season's over. Some insist they can't sit down on third downs, and some pick their favorite team because, I don't know, just like football fandom, nobody's life is exactly the same, and that's why State Farm gets to know you, not as a policy number but as an actual person, so they can help personalize a coverage plan that's just for you.
0:59Jason Moore:Whether it's game day or just another Tuesday, State Farm has you covered.
1:09Jason Moore:Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
1:27Mike Wright:Welcome in.
1:36Mike Wright:Tuesday, September 15th.
1:40Jason Moore:Somebody in this office is glowing. I did not think Mike could be here. You didn't ascend? You did not? I just assumed you were no longer on this, brother. I did. Oh, yeah. You just came back across the table. Kinbone brothers. These two Kinbone walkers. Oh, baby. Also, what is this Andy on the Kinbone walker? He's got him on League of Legends. I know why.
2:06Mike Wright:I'm just saying it's not fair or true to nature. Just with Gibbs and Josh Allen and CeeDee and Aminoran. It's not their time right now, Andy. Listen, it took one game.
2:17Jason Moore:Kinbone walker. It took one singular game.
2:22Andy Holloway:Well, hold on. against one of last year's elite defenses. You may continue.
2:29Mike Wright:Are they elite? I don't know. They were. I'm saying they were last year. Yes, I know. Now all of a sudden it's like, do you start running backs against them? But no, you can start this one against them. Kenneth Walker, 23 for 173. Two touchdowns because one was technically a passing touchdown. Did you realize this? Oh, yeah, yeah. It was the old-fashioned Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes. We bowl it. Did you see that on that play, Ken Walker said that was a really tough one for him to learn how it worked because they were watching early 1900s football plays. Yeah. Early 1900s.
3:04Jason Moore:It was an early 1900s play. Andy Reid said Chris Berman gave him that play. I mean. Yeah, he said Chris Berman showed him that and he took it.
3:12Mike Wright:It's always funny because I'm like, when do you decide you're actually going to use these? And then when you use them, you kind of like expire them to a degree. But look, it was the Ken Walker.
3:20Andy Holloway:No, you set it up so that they're watching for it. and then you do something else.
3:23Mike Wright:It was the Ken Walker show. Guys, he's good. He's good at football. Well, look, this is like, anybody in this room read the Lord of the Rings books? No. They're very long, right? I'm a nerd. They're long stories. It takes a long time for a payoff and things like that. I feel like the Ken Walker story, it's like a six-series book set, and it had some ups and some downs and some all-arounds, and Mike's like, I'm going to keep reading. And we're like, I don't know if you should keep reading. He doesn't seem like. The fourth book was pretty slow. The fourth book was slow, and then some pages were torn out all over the place.
4:02Mike Wright:And then, okay, it's a novelty. You win the MVP, but is he coming back to the team to share with Charbonnet or is he going to the doldrums of some other franchise? Oh, wait, Kansas City. Well, that should work.
4:15Jason Moore:And I love on the broadcast, they said what we all assumed, which was the reason he went there. It was not to win a Super Bowl. It was solely he wanted the opportunity to get all the work. Like, it basically was saying, like, oh, why were you so good in the Super Bowl? Why were you so good in the playoffs? Because he got the opportunity. And he wanted to go somewhere where he got the opportunity. Kansas City promised him the opportunity. Turns out.
4:40Mike Wright:375 rushing temps seems realistic if he could stay healthy, which is really going to be tough.
4:46Andy Holloway:But definitely is.
4:48Mike Wright:I mean, I shouldn't be talking, Mike. You talk all you want.
4:50Andy Holloway:I love that. So we're in our slack. The Ken Bone Brothers are celebrating. Yes, the Bone Brothers. The worst. I mean, how can you not be celebrating? We should go out for a Bone Brothers lunch. Yeah, get some Bone Broth? Yeah. To celebrate. I hate this. Ken Walker Day.
5:07Jason Moore:Go over to Bourbon and Bone.
5:09Andy Holloway:Oh, very nice. Hashtag not sponsored. Get some wings? No, the slack from the haters of our office was like, yeah, I was going to die. Oh, that's the thing?
5:22Jason Moore:Oh, no, my good player's getting too much work. I will say this. The only hope that our League of Record has with Gibbs and Walker is simply that they're going to die. Your biggest problem, Andy, your legitimate biggest problem right now in our league, in our main league, is that your guys are getting too much work. It's so good.
5:44Mike Wright:Do you know how much that sucks for the rest of us? You know, there was this, we've had super teams in our league before. Oh, man. And the super teams, sometimes they come out in week one and they're just, you know, they underwhelmed. That did not happen. No. No, it went as planned with a down week from HN and a down week from Devon.
6:01Jason Moore:Yeah, in our league, if you score 130, you should win. That's like our scoring format. That is a great week. You crossed 130. And 140. And 150. Well, and then you thought you had an okay game. and then you had Ken Bone Walker, and then you went to what, 175-ish? Keel! It was a delightful moment.
6:23Mike Wright:I need to get everybody else to give up. That's the real key. I think you did in week one. I think they need to retire. But it was on the back. I mean, Ken Bone, unbelievable performance. It was also, in my opinion, unbelievable to see Mahomes able to run the football a little bit.
6:40Andy Holloway:I didn't forget this one, though. He didn't even slide.
6:43Mike Wright:The pants store's drop's not working, Jeremy. On it. I'm sorry. Travis Kelsey, three for 71. Look, Rashi Rice, thank goodness for the touchdown. Because, which was two broken tackles, which, by the way, Denver did not practice tackling this offseason.
6:58Jason Moore:They seemed like they had a little bit of issue on wrapping up.
7:01Mike Wright:Yeah, I don't know if there was like a, they distributed like Vaseline to everybody because Bo Nix couldn't hold on to the football and they couldn't hold on to the Chiefs. It was an embarrassing performance.
7:11Jason Moore:He did have an all-time podium quote, though. He was asked. Bo Nix? Yes, Bo Nix was asked by a reporter, can you walk us through the end zone interception? And he goes, yeah, I dropped back to pass and I threw it to the other team. It was like, next question.
7:28Mike Wright:I mean, super accurate.
7:30Jason Moore:I mean, he did walk you exactly through what happened.
7:32Mike Wright:The Broncos have.
7:34Andy Holloway:There's hilariously two parts of this story. And Emma Johnson looked awesome.
7:39Mike Wright:Let me finish one thing on the Chiefs real quick because I want you to talk about the Broncos. But I just want to say, make no mistake, this is the recipe for the season for the Chiefs. It's not that Mahomes can't have bigger games, better games, whatever. The recipe was seen in this game. The recipe is run the football and be a dominant defensive force and then let Mahomes execute without mistakes. They don't have the wide receiver personnel to be a dominant passing team. I do not believe they do. What are you talking about? You saw a super spry Travis Kelsey in this game. I mean, it's funny because Emmitt Johnson and Travis Kelsey were the two leading receivers, neither a wide receiver.
8:19Mike Wright:Xavier Worthy, three catches. Thornton, zero. Cyrus, zero. Worthy was the leader in total receptions at wide receiver. And then Rashi Rice, two catches.
8:29Andy Holloway:I mean, I, man, it's one week, but I'm concerned about Rice. Mike, your drop is fixed. Oh.
8:40Andy Holloway:Imagine owning pants right now.
8:42Mike Wright:There was a point last night when I thought about making AI of pants exploding off of your body. I was just like, that was the pinnacle of your life.

8:51Jason Moore:Yeah, I don't think you've got anywhere to go but down now.
8:54Mike Wright:Last night, probably your wedding, maybe the birth of your kids. Well, I mean, you forgot Super Duper Chance.
9:00Jason Moore:That was probably better.
9:02Andy Holloway:Fantasy, fantasy, and then marriage and kids. Yeah, I'm not worried. I'm really concerned about that other stuff.
9:06Jason Moore:I would say that there is legitimate concern for Rushy Rice going forward. Two targets with the Eric Bien-Ami system in place. I was worried about how will they utilize him? Will they have him be that kind of true possession receiver? And I don't think this is necessarily – I don't want to overreact to week one. You go back, you check the tape. They won easily running the ball, so you didn't have to throw it much. But I did have a little bit of concern or worry coming into the game that they wouldn't use Rushy Rice the way that they have the last couple years, which has been so good for him. I don't think that that has been good for the Kansas City Chiefs.
9:42Jason Moore:It's not like a huge EPA play when it's successful enough, but it's like not explosive plays. I mean, there's a reason the Chiefs didn't make the playoffs last year. They weren't a great offense. And so, you know, TBD, he got a touchdown. I don't know if you use that as an opportunity to try to –
10:02Andy Holloway:Matt has a question for you. Flip him. The Falcon, a.k.a. Poop Butt, wants to know, would you trade Rasheed Rice for Parker Washington? In a heartbeat. And I think I would sprint to the button. In a heartbeat.
10:16Mike Wright:And I don't think you can get that done after that first week.
10:18Jason Moore:In any format. Yeah. In points per Rasheed Rice leagues, I would still do it.
10:24Mike Wright:Mike, talk about the Broncos.
10:26Andy Holloway:Okay, so my question was going to be, how long is Davis Webb calling plays for this team? Totally. I can't believe he made it to quarter four. Because the next five weeks. J.K. Dobbins had one carry in the second quarter. Your main – and Harvey looked good. I thought they used Harvey. You have to get him in space. My entire argument of why I like Dobbins over Harvey is that Dobbins is a better actual running back. Harvey has juice. He is a weapon that can be used in the correct way. But this is a defense, and it should be a defense and run team now that Dobbins is back to health. They did not.
11:12Andy Holloway:They completely abandoned the run. I think it was like three carries in the first quarter, one in the second. Then he had a couple, or he had at least one good carry in the second half. But it's like they kept throwing it over and over, even though it was not working. The Chiefs knew what they were going to do. I mean, shout out to Pat Bryant. That was pretty fun. He led the team in targets.
11:37Mike Wright:One catch for two yards for Jalen Waddell. Yeah. They were broken. How about Jacksonville, the Rams, the 49ers the next three weeks?
11:49Jason Moore:It's tough. They've got a good defense, and we've seen explosive offensive performances last year. They were sparse, though. They were here and there. They would blow up for 40 points, and then most weeks it was like they just did enough to squeak out a win. I did see Warren Sharp tweet out just a reminder of who the Broncos beat in 2025, which was Trey Lance, Chris Oladoukin, Jordan Oladoukin, Kenny Pickett, Geno Smith, Marcus Mariota, Geno Smith again, Davis Mills, Justin Fields, Jake Browning, Cam Ward. There was a list of not great offenses that they were playing. So I know we – I still do view the Broncos as a very top-end defense, but at least be open to potential incorrect thoughts.
12:41Andy Holloway:It was so insane. They're like, hey, Bo Nix is playing real bad. should we try and like get him on track with uh like let's help him out with the uh the run game like no we're just gonna let bo nicks keep looking terrible yeah and once you got down you were stuck
12:55Mike Wright:and it was it was not good it's one week but um you know through one week the afc title game uh contenders didn't look great right so it'll be very interesting we got more news by the way today's a waiver show i didn't even say it at the top because i was too quick to get into the ken bone walker moment for mike but waivers on today's show news on today's show i've got a little game i want to play with you guys because is it called ken bone walker or uh no i think i know how because the list is very small uh i think i know well that'd be a fun game to play we could do that
13:30Jason Moore:actually actually wild so it's like after you can't overreact but you can't overreact it's like okay obviously you'd take gibbs and bijon ken bone then the question starts well i think i'd
13:41Mike Wright:take jonathan taylor over okay i think i would uh i would take cmc sure if you and i think the
13:49Jason Moore:list i mean it's it is i mean you're taking them over hn oh oh yeah you're taking them over we
13:55Andy Holloway:were before the i would people are very excited for genti i need to see him play not the dolphins james cook i think that's a question i mean ken walker got zero goal line opportunities last night
14:07Mike Wright:what a loser. Oh, I mean, he got the target. I just mean you're going to have games where they're on the goal line and he's running the ball in, and Mahomes ran one in. So let's talk some more news.
14:19Jason Moore:News and notes from around the league.
14:24Mike Wright:The last piece of information we got on Sam Darnold, a unique soft tissue injury. I heard glute this morning. Oh, that is quite unique. And expected to be short. What is that, a glute? I haven't seen one of those in a while. Expect it to be short term.
14:39Andy Holloway:I don't eat bread, so I'm not worried about it. Right, right, right. You're glute free. Oh. Swish. Thank you, Mike.
14:45Jason Moore:It was on the bubble there. Come on. I liked it.
14:50Mike Wright:Guys, I don't even care what's happening today.
14:52Jason Moore:Arnold is looking like a - Wavers, smavers. I've got Ken Bone Walker.
14:56Mike Wright:Week four return to play, which, by the way, I did offer Mike Ken Walker for Christian McCat. Oh, wait. No, it was Bijan and the 2-11. Oh, that's right.
15:06Andy Holloway:Which I'm like, well, maybe that was a mistake.
15:09Mike Wright:Maybe. Darnold, week four return. Cardinals play the Seahawks this week. Cardinals play the Seahawks and Drew Locke this week. Jim Harbaugh. The NFC West goes through Arizona. Yes, it does, and we'll find out because it's in Arizona.
15:23Jason Moore:Ladd McConkie day-to-day with the rib injury. That's good news. So, obviously, he could put a flak jacket on, maybe play this week. The Chargers offense was running through him, granted poorly, but hopefully they figure that out.
15:36Mike Wright:Jesse Minter said Jacoby Lane will seek a second and third opinion. Why did they already presume they need a third? Because we already know the second guy's going to agree.
15:44Jason Moore:We're going to see a kook and then a real doctor. See how many doctors until we tell them, hey, your wrist's totally fine.
15:49Andy Holloway:Well, doctor two, he loves doctor one. He's just going to agree.
15:54Mike Wright:I mean, he fractured his wrist. That part is settled. I hope it's conclusive. Save Flowers day-to-day with the hamstring. That's optimistic news. Hopefully he is not going to – I mean, that's going to be in the back of your head for a few weeks until he gets through a game.
16:07Jason Moore:Yeah. I will say the expectation is he probably won't practice much this week. He will start and be active. It's just a worry of whether he reactivates. I'm not sure. I think he might miss a week or two. I mean, potentially that would be smart to just give him the time off. They did say that – Who did they play? They left him questionable for a long time in that game. They played the Saints. And then at that point, they decided the game was out of hand. They don't need to bring him back. They said if it was a playoff game, he would have absolutely come back and played. So maybe they give him a week off just to be extra safe, but...
16:41Jason Moore:Would he have come back and played injured is the question. Sure. I mean, the re-aggravation is the risk.
16:47Mike Wright:We saw Jalen Coker, a report of him being in a walking boot after the game. We're like, oh my gosh, the leading wide receiver on the week. Not expected to miss time. Rolled his ankle in the first quarter. The boot was precautionary.
16:59Jason Moore:No, it's not. No, it's not. No, of course it's not. It's not. Otherwise, everyone would be walking around. It's very cautionary. Everyone would be walking around in two boots at all times. Look, I can't roll my ankle in these things. Like, it's not precautionary. Something happened where they put a boot on him. Thankfully, he said it was mild. He's not worried. He's going to play. But at the same time, it is not precautionary. It's cautionary.
17:24Mike Wright:Yes. Okay. we have Liam Cohen saying Brian Thomas Jr. is expected to play in week two against the Broncos so avoided major injury there Jordan Mason sore thumb being evaluated you know what Jordan keep that one quiet keep that one to yourself that's embarrassing man keep that one quiet I get it if like
17:44Jason Moore:I mean especially if it's not a broken thumb it's a sore thumb what you hammer where you like hammering the picture in the wall oh I got my thumb
17:53Andy Holloway:it matters get it right if you're a running back and you're dominant hand you have a busted thumb
18:00Mike Wright:a busted hairy thumb cast busted thumb
18:05Jason Moore:sounds great Mike a sore thumb it's sticking out
18:10Mike Wright:jokes aside if it's ball security he plays
18:17Andy Holloway:Chicago guess who returns to practice
18:21Mike Wright:Trevo back at practice
18:23Jason Moore:Okay, that's good. They need him. They do. They need some weapons. Without A.J. Brown, they look like a team that had no one to do anything. Like, Ramondre was okay. And outside of Ramondre, they didn't have a receiver or anyone else there that could do anything explosive.
18:38Mike Wright:Todd Monken says he anticipates Deshaun Watson starting for the Browns in week two. And more repugnantly, he said there were some really good things on film.
18:48Andy Holloway:Well, there was a good thing. That one play was pretty good. Yeah.
18:51Jason Moore:Mike is 100 % correct. Oh, you're in now? I guess you're out? Yeah, Deshaun Watson will start this week. Number two. Nope. How dare you? How dare you? Wait, who's the new number two?
19:06Mike Wright:Well, no, it's not been updated to you. Number two. Yeah, that was last year's number two. We need Watson in there. Oh, yeah. Dylan Sampson, significant time missed for the Browns, so third down back Dylan Sampson won't be there. And then Isaiah Pacheco underwent back surgery. he will miss 12 weeks this was not the injury he missed time with by the way in preseason
19:25Jason Moore:at all that was a that was such a specific time it's not like he'll miss like 10 to 14 weeks that and that's a long time from now to know exactly he will miss 12 weeks but he's basically
19:40Mike Wright:done for the fantasy season it seems like all right we are going to take a quick break and I want to play a little game before we get into the waiver wire.
19:50Jason Moore:If you're an NFL fan, ESPN is where you need to be this season. It's the biggest lineup they've ever put together. Monday Night Football, every week, every game on NFL Network. 21:09Jason Moore:Okay. I want to play the game.
21:16Mike Wright:All right, I'm going to give you a name, and you have a simple task at hand. You have to either respond with bounce back or buns. Okay, bounce back or buns. It's bounce back or buns for week one. Again, I did this on the way in. I didn't have a lot of time to workshop it, but it's a great name. You ready for this? Sure. Let's start George Pickens, 4.3 fantasy points. Bounce back. Bounce back for sure. All right. I figured you'd say that. How about Devontae Adams' 4.1 fantasy points? Bounce back or Buns? Bounce.
21:50Jason Moore:Bounce back.
21:52Mike Wright:You said that quietly. I did. I'm worried. That's allowed.
21:54Jason Moore:You can say it as loud as you want. They didn't use it. They didn't. The one of seven times inside the 10 that he was on the field. What are you doing? He'll bounce back. Okay. Colson Loveland, zero points.
22:03Mike Wright:Oh, bounce back. Easy. I figured that would be the answer. How about Kyle Pitts' zero points? Bounce back or Bunz? Who's the quarterback?
22:10Jason Moore:I'll say Bunz because I never thought he was going to be great. Okay.
22:13Andy Holloway:But, like, if it were Tua or Michael Penix, as bad as we think they are, Better. On the one route that Kyle Pitts actually got a target, I mean, that was like a 10-point play. You think Tua wouldn't have underthrown him either? No, I think he would have got him. I think he would have got him. It wasn't 20 yards down the field, I don't think. It was close enough that Tua could be accurate. Josh Downs, 4.7 fantasy points. Buns. Ooh. I think he's going to be okay. He was on the field. You were looking for usage and routes and stuff for Josh Downs.
22:49Mike Wright:I bet Pierce was on limited snaps, and Keenan had to work and scored more fantasy points. Bounce back or buns, Mike?
22:57Andy Holloway:Bouncy buns.
23:00Jason Moore:Bouncy buns.
23:00Mike Wright:I'm not sure I named this game correctly.
23:02Jason Moore:I will say he had 94 % route participation, which is good, but 78 % was in the slot, only 21 % wide. This is going to get harder.
23:11Mike Wright:Okay? Marshawn Lloyd, 3.7 fantasy points.
23:14Jason Moore:No way.
23:15Andy Holloway:Buns. That one I have to know who they play. My week two radar is not going yet. The Jets? It'll be better than last week. He doesn't understand the game. I don't want to keep saying bounce back or buns, man. That is the game
23:34Mike Wright:Mackay Lemon one fantasy point
23:37Jason Moore:Boons Can you bounce? Now he wants to say it There's only one that you want to say Can you bounce back when you have never done anything yet? Oh he did something Jason
23:47Mike Wright:He finished with negative yards I mean literally these are the 30 highest ranked names In terms of ADP before the season
23:55Jason Moore:No I'd go Bunz there
23:57Mike Wright:Terry McLaurin Terry McLaurin 2.4 fantasy points Bunz
24:03Jason Moore:what yeah you're doing that to i was pre-seasoned i i didn't i don't think terry's gonna have a great season i think brooks wants you to know mike it's okay if you're wrong it's just the game oh i don't like to be wrong bounce back i'm still in on rico daddle 3.1 fantasy points
24:19Andy Holloway:oh dude i watched uh for today's dynasty pod recording which comes out tomorrow I watched both Jalen Warren and Rico Dowdle. Okay. The assessment was the Pittsburgh Steelers offense was buns! This was like, when you saw the Warren production you're like, well I guess he was better. No, dude, it was just awful. Also, when you're watching specifically two running backs, and my biggest takeaway was like, good lord, DK Metcalf was awful.
24:55Jason Moore:I told Andy yesterday that you were in the middle of watching this film and you were like, man, DK's bad. You want to know what Twyld is? It was such a bad week for him. I think DK was the number one, like, points below expected.
25:08Mike Wright:Yeah. Like, his expected fantasy points was like 19 points something.
25:12Jason Moore:They were throwing a ton. I'm going to say Rico bounced back. He had a lot of snaps, targets, everything you need other than quality play.
25:21Mike Wright:I got three more names. Okay? Ready? Because I can't not bring these up. A bounce back or Bunz, Harold Fannin 3.1 fantasy points?
25:29Jason Moore:Bounce back, but it won't be until Watson's gone.
25:33Mike Wright:Okay. Bunz. Bunz. Oof. I mean, you're pretty Bunz all the way through on the Browns. Brown Bunz. Okay.
25:40Andy Holloway:Easy.
25:41Mike Wright:Stop talking.
25:43Andy Holloway:Casey Concepcion is a huge part of the problem. Like, he's going to operate. I'm saying where Concepcion's getting his targets and getting his work. Sanders could come back in and just be like, no, I love Harold Fannin. That's where I'm going to go. He's a very good player.
26:00Mike Wright:He is. Two more names. Jalen Waddle,.7 fantasy points. Oh, he'll be back. Bounce back. Bounce back for him. Let me see if I can give you a tough one to finish this out. Rashad White, 3.7 fantasy points.
26:14Andy Holloway:Buns. Yeah. Yeah, that situation is weird. We didn't really highlight it, but Bill was the guy, and he fumbled at the end of the game, and then they just put the rookie in. Katron Allen? Yeah, it was weird because they were in the game. Yeah, it was very, very close.
26:36Mike Wright:They don't see Rashad White between the tackles.
26:39Andy Holloway:That's what that says. Well, I'm saying they were so fast. Katron, I mean, he kind of looked okay. but it's like Bill was playing okay from what I gathered. I didn't re-watch the entire game.
26:51Mike Wright:I mean it's a dream show if Mike gets to celebrate Ken Walker and then call Rashad White buns. It's a pretty good show. Yeah. I'm feeling great. Want to talk some waivers?
27:00Jason Moore:Sure. Waiver Wire presented by T-Mobile.
27:08Mike Wright:Alright. Well this will be fun. By the way if you go to the website if you are a Foot Clan member you get access to the ultimate dashboard there are custom spot starts and waiver rankings for your specific leagues so they're all customized to your league to your scoring system you can check those out here running backs do we have names do we got names we got a lot of backup i think the people will react to caleb black's performance on thursday night yes they will they will probably
27:36Jason Moore:overreact but i don't think when it comes time to do the waiver wire rankings that you're really going to overreact too much if you're on like a priority list i would burn my priority on caitlin black personally you would i would because i think what he established is not i don't expect him to do what he did week one which is be a flex with benefits like i don't expect him to get enough work to where you're going to start him no but what he did do is show that he is that backup he is capable and should christian mcafford go down he's the guy that you want i would put him as probably one of the most important guys to get.
28:10Jason Moore:But again... What's the fab amount for Kalen Black? So I don't think that this... If you have CMC and if you don't. I don't think this week has the dump your fab type of player, which usually week one has it. Right. Hopefully we've got it in week two. Right now I would say that I'm not going to burn too much. If I was to go out there, I'd be like 10 or 15 fab on Kalen Black. If I've got Christian McCaffrey, I'd probably spend up a little bit more just to protect my asset and get him.
28:44Mike Wright:Is he your number one running back pickup? Is it Kalen Black? Are you looking towards Tyler Algier, heavily involved, 17 carries for Arizona. uh chris rodriguez the snaps were pretty decent the works were not right though the work was not
29:04Jason Moore:yeah i mean to me there were like i think that there is not a guy if you need to start someone this week like oh my gosh i i have nobody to start okay maybe you grab tyler algier he's not he's available in about a third of leagues probably not out there for most people i don't think there's really a guy you're going to start maybe george halani because you have a touchdown opportunity I know, gross. I'd much rather play Algiers. I'd rather play Algiers. So to me, I'm focused on the backups, the insurance backs. That's Kalen Black and Emmitt Johnson. Those two guys, to me, they both looked good.
29:39Jason Moore:They're both on what could be good offenses. They both have historically fragile or commonly injured head starting running backs who are getting a ton of work. So, yeah, Kalen Black for the 49ers and Emmitt Johnson, rookie for the Chiefs, are the two guys that I would prioritize to grab.
30:00Andy Holloway:I agree with that in terms of just pure backups. Braylon Allen should be mentioned. I don't know if that's sticky, the 10 carries, one target. He did have a huge touchdown that got called back on, I think, a hold.
30:16Mike Wright:I think he would be very good if Brees was out for this team.
30:21Andy Holloway:In this list, it's like the only guys I'm confident are Tyler Adjier is going to get work. And then after that, looking at, I mean, we are really just backups. I think that Braylon Allen probably gets the second most work of the guys we're talking about. I think I'm on Jason's side of it. I think Kalen Black was a, it's awesome to know that information, especially with Jordan James being a healthy scratch. I think it was more of the report that McCaffrey's playing through cramps in the international game. So I think CMC goes back to his very healthy workload. And even with the 14 carries, if you had desperation played Kalen Black and you got that work, it didn't really turn into points.
31:07Andy Holloway:He doesn't get high-value touches.
31:09Jason Moore:It's rare in week one that the bigger pickups are not at running back. But I think right now what you're dealing with at the running back position is backups. We didn't have injuries. Insurance options.
31:19Andy Holloway:Which is, that's great.
31:21Jason Moore:I would make sure that people are aware of Amari DiMarcato. He's universally available. He's available across the league. There was a super late, you know, this is, I think it was the Thursday before kickoff injury. No one knows what team he's on. So Dallas Cowboys, who is, he is now the backup to Javante. Malik Davis got seriously hurt. Yeah, on the Thursday before kickoff, he was carted off. Seems like a long-term injury. So all of a sudden, Amari DiMarcado goes from a guy who wasn't on this roster a month ago to the number one backup. Yeah.
31:55Mike Wright:All right. You guys want to move on?
31:57Jason Moore:Yeah. And also, we do have a lot more names on our list. You know, Tajay Spears split a lot of work, but he's on the Titans. Yeah, I don't care. We've done that for years in a row. Keaton Mitchell, Alvin Kamara. But all of that is on the website. And you can also plug in your specific roster. You can go and jointhefoot.com and import your league and see who is available in all your different leagues on your waivers. And it goes farther than just the guys we can talk about on the episode.
32:28Mike Wright:Would you drop Tank Bigsby, Tyron Tracy, Jonah Coleman, Marshawn Lloyd?
32:32Andy Holloway:Tracy is – that's a Baxter punt. Bigsby is – he's just like these other high-value insurance running backs. Would you drop him for Black? Yeah. I don't know.
32:47Andy Holloway:Yes, I think I would.
32:50Jason Moore:So then break that tie, because to me, Tank Bigsby, should Christian – I'd rather have Kalen Black. Really? Yeah. I feel like if Christian McCaffrey and Saquon went down completely, they both retired this week. I think Tank Bigsby scores a lot more. I agree with that.
33:06Andy Holloway:I'd rather pick up Kalen Black in terms of more risk to McCaffrey. What if he – I'm not just the risk. We're projecting that McCaffrey will be the heavy workload yet again. But what if every single week, Caelan Black is getting 12 opportunities? I don't think it would be – Bigsby won't.
33:22Mike Wright:It won't be Bigsby every down either with Saquon out. Shipley? You'll have Shipley in there. Sure. All right, wide receiver pickups. You do have some big ones this week. I think the two biggest names for me on the week that are in the wide receiver position, Deebo Samuel, Jalen Coker. Dajon Stribling is out for an extended period of time. Debo was heavily involved, 6 for 48, scored a touchdown, got the classic rushing attempt, 71 % rostered. So this is a higher rostered player. Jalen Coker is at 66%. He was the number one wide receiver on the week. I would not take that as prescriptive for the entire year.
34:01Mike Wright:So I would not like – both of those guys are like well below 20 % of my fab. What do you think about – Probably in the 8 % to 10 % max.
34:11Jason Moore:What do you think about the fact that the second half of the game, Demarcus Robinson played 24 snaps to Debo Samuel 7. I know that game got – I guess I don't know how much of that was –
34:21Andy Holloway:I think you have to factor it in.
34:23Mike Wright:Yeah, we did talk about the fact the veterans got a lot of – I mean, CMC, Kittle, and Debo got very reduced workloads. I don't know if it was strategic, preventative, precautionary, cautionary,
34:35Jason Moore:whatever you want to say. So in the third quarter, when the game was still, I mean, the Rams weren't, you know, benching their starters in the third. It looks like Mike Evans and Demarcus Robinson played 12 snaps. Debo Samuel played four snaps. So I just bring up that because Demarcus Robinson is also a name. The Deshaun Stribling injury is going to matter. And then obviously Debo got the touchdown. He looked not too bad. But Demarcus Robinson will be involved.
35:02Mike Wright:He will, but you wouldn't start him over Debo, would you? Because, I mean, we've done the Marcus Robinson thing over the years. And I think the designed plays for Debo are more valuable than any of these snap count numbers.
35:16Jason Moore:But I guess my point is, if it costs me$15 fab to get Debo or$0 to get Robinson, I'd probably rather save the fab. I think I like all these other names more than Robinson.
35:29Mike Wright:Okay. Devon Vele. Vele. Vele. Vele. Vele. Vele. Vele's my number one. Maybe in a Wicks.
35:34Jason Moore:Yes, all of those guys are awesome. I think those are the pickups. And Antonio Williams as well.
35:39Mike Wright:How much would you spend on Coker, though? Let's not leave that for a second because eight for 132-2, 84 % of the snaps. First read targets tied with McMillan. Air yards went to Coker. You're talking about a player they just paid money to. He hasn't been healthy. When he's been healthy, he's always flashed. Like Robert Woods or Parker Washington are these guys that once they got opportunities, they performed. What about the fact that he's not healthy? Precautionary. I mean, a first-quarter injury, I'm not too worried about it.
36:09Andy Holloway:Coker's going to be expensive. I will say this. He'll be a 20-plus percent of fab. I would not spend that.
36:17Jason Moore:Andy is definitely correct that he is talented and he's on the field. I mean, that was – He'd definitely be my number one pick.
36:24Mike Wright:That is a wild game. You got Atlanta this week. I mean, Coker is my number one, but I would cap my spend on Coker at 15 % probably. maybe maybe like 12.
36:34Jason Moore:You can make a very easy argument that Devon Vele is a better pickup. I mean, you still have the Bryce Young problem. Obviously, Jalen Cooker had a Bryce Young quarterback in week one. He was the wide receiver one on the week. But the Bears defense looked really, really bad. That game got out of hand and was awesome for fantasy. I don't expect that to be the norm.
36:55Mike Wright:I don't expect Vele to get seven for 69 on a touchdown every week either. I think Juwan Johnson will be more involved, and they won't run 86 plays a week. So I think both of those guys are going to be a little bit of – like my investment on Bailey would not be very high. Because there's just a bunch of guys that I think are in that same category that I can get for free.
37:12Jason Moore:If you need a start, to me, Bailey is very valuable. The Ravens, Raiders, and Falcons next three weeks, that's the time frame where we know Jordan Tyson can't come back. So he is going to be the wide receiver, too, on the field. And I liked what we saw from Shuck. It got off to a slow start, but he really played some quality ball down the stretch. I'm like, to me, Vele and Coker are very close to one another, and I feel like I can get Vele cheaper. Those two guys are close to one another?
37:44Mike Wright:That's how it is for me. To me, Vele is expiring. Coker's the rest of season value. When I'm spending any fab at the top of the season, I want him to be somebody that's not temporary. So that's a big differential for me. I would agree. I mean, I could start Dontavian Wicks this week for not that much, and I don't think that that's a disservice to – like it's worse than Vele.
38:05Jason Moore:Dontavian Wicks is another great name. He could be a rest of season. I mean, you could argue the expiring asset as Mekhi Lemon gets more involved the same way that Jordan Tyson will be back. But his role seems established. He played 91 % of the snaps. He had a bomb touchdown, and Wicks is good. He actually had a short touchdown.
38:22Mike Wright:He had a bomb catch.
38:23Jason Moore:Oh, that's right. The touchdown was not on the bomb. I guess when I'm looking at all these, you've got Chris Bell and Caleb Douglas, the rookies from Miami that despite the fact that I don't feel like the Miami Dolphins offense looked good, both these guys were okay. Caleb Douglas, 5 for 94 in week one in a not great game.
38:46Mike Wright:I still think it's the time to scoop up Chris Bell. He only played 50 % of snaps in week one. They're figuring the offense out.
38:52Andy Holloway:But I don't think he's going to be playable for a while.
38:56Jason Moore:While he works up to speed.
38:58Mike Wright:It's possible.
38:59Jason Moore:I guess my point here is that I'm not going to spend a ton of money on these guys. Because there's enough. Like, I would rather, you know, take an$8.
39:06Mike Wright:That's exactly why I'm not spending anything on Bayley. Because I think there's 10 other guys that I would be willing to start.
39:11Jason Moore:If I took an$8 fab, you know, bid on all, even like, okay, I would maybe be willing to spend more on Jalen Coker. But I'm not personally, like, super bullish because I still think Bryce Young is going to fail. that's where I am too and so it's like if I took an$8 bid and I put it on Coker and Veley and Douglas and Wicks and Bell great I'm going to probably get one of them if not
39:36Mike Wright:two of them I like Malachi Fields a lot he's actually the sneakiest cheapest player that I would pick up and actually care about I think the offense he played 73 % of snaps it wasn't a hugely productive week but he's not rostered in a lot of leagues he's a rookie with upside I like those. Antonio Williams is in that category. I want to have a$0 bid on these guys, a$1 bid on these guys. Yeah, I can agree with that. And pick up some rookies to hold because we – look, some of the rookies you held in week one are gone. Jacoby Lane, Dajon Stribling, these guys are on IR or out. Stribling technically not on IR yet.
40:13Mike Wright:But they're going to be in your IR spot. So I just like picking those guys up versus like – Absolutely. Like Demarcus Robinson. and okay, I guess if you need a spot starting week too.
40:25Andy Holloway:With the injuries to wide receiver, you have to figure out what your team needs. I think not being overly aggressive on the fab spend this week is probably the right strategy. I mean, you could have been devastated at the wide receiver position. You really have to go get somebody. Did we throw out Matt Collins' name yet? No, Matt Collins played the most snaps to wide receiver position
40:50Jason Moore:in the second half. For the Patriots, he...
40:54Mike Wright:Will they get Kyle Williams involved? I don't think so.
40:57Jason Moore:I don't know why. Why won't they? They're not good enough.
41:00Andy Holloway:Yeah, there's something going on that we are not privy to, but Matt Collins is like, he's literally just the guy that, he's like, oh, crap, our plan didn't work. Matt Collins, get in there and fix it for us. And he's like, no problem. Let me take my shoes off and get in there.
41:16Mike Wright:Demario Douglas in a full PPR is going to be the same story with A.J. Brown out. I mean, he was heavily involved in the offense. I think he only had – I think he had seven catches for 20 yards.
41:24Andy Holloway:He had seven targets, five for 20. I'm just – I feel like the floor play of Douglas is I'm not interested.
41:31Jason Moore:It has to at least be in full PPR because he's just not going to get the yards to go along with the catches.
41:38Mike Wright:Romeo Dobbs?
41:39Jason Moore:Yeah, I mean, he is one of the drop candidates that a lot of people are going after the goose in week one. Do I drop him? I would not drop him. I would not either. I'd pick him up. the opportunity with A.J. Brown gone. You've got a week to actually prepare for like, okay, now we don't have A.J. Brown. What are we going to do? And Dobbs was their other big money free agent. Where would you guys rank Pat Bryant in these wide receivers? He looked okay. I mean, the game got out of hands. Out of hands? Yeah. I tried to get both of them on it. He got three receptions on that first drive, or maybe it was the second
42:16Mike Wright:I think that's why I'm not only having one catch kind of throws the thing off for me, too. It's like, was this the whole offense not functioning?
42:24Andy Holloway:Right, but they led the league in pass attempts last year. I'd definitely pick them up. They're out of control with their pass rate yet again. We'll see if it holds. But I think Pat Bryant, everything that they talked about with the offseason, we said, hey, Parker, Jacoby Lane, unfortunately he's hurt. Pat Bryant there might be a name I'm missing but like those were the loudest drum beats of the entire offseason of these are the players who are are taking a step the fact that Pat Bryant is a year two wide receiver had all of those things comes out and leaves the team in targets it's a good sign like that's a I don't he won't pass Waddle I really really expect Waddle to be perfectly fine but it's like Cortland Sutton might be done and it's just be Waddle and Pat Bryant are you
43:11Mike Wright:drop in Jordan Addison he was a goose in week one I was gonna ask if he's a bounce back or a buns
43:18Jason Moore:buns I'm I think I think Jeff Jefferson's gonna just hog everything right now we saw that when Carson Wentz was there last year how much he targeted Justin Jefferson which is probably
43:30Mike Wright:pretty smart yes to do he's very boom bust he can have a 70-yard touchdown at any minute but it's tough to count on backup quarterback and then transitioning back to Kyler and seeing if If it works, when you have other guys you can pick up.
43:43Jason Moore:Yeah, and I'll throw out one more name. I would not. Yeah? Yes. Yeah. Yes. Good. It's nasty. People will not like it. But I do think Cleve Raymond is worth a. Oh, no. I know. Oh, no. Look. This is a fool me once. No way. No way. Totally. That's fine.
44:03Mike Wright:That's the Chicago Bears, by the way. I mean, he's done that for Detroit before.
44:06Jason Moore:Yes, he has done it for Detroit before where he played with Ben Johnson. I'm gushed out. and knew that system. He came in and played 60 % of snaps, played 60-40 wide to inside. You really believe this? Well, those are facts, but I do believe those. But I would say that he's not a guy I expect to be great or take over. But all the Luther Burden love and hype and all that jazz, we still have not yet to see it. This is a guy who played with Ben Johnson for a while. he was on the field well Zaccheaus was that last year for them yeah exactly Luther Burden couldn't beat Zaccheaus last year uh and and I I think Khalifa Raymond's uh better than Zaccheaus but I'm not sitting here saying I'm saying maybe put if you've got an extra roster spot do a zero dollar bid in case he becomes a thing I mean it's rare for a guy in what like this is like year 10 this is you know like it's like the button said nasty but I think he should be rostered in case
45:07Mike Wright:all right we'll take a break we'll talk tight ends

47:16Mike Wright:all right uh let's talk the tight end position i there's names that matter um it's wild because uh one of these guys was not rostered in our league of record until the bowers injury and the bowers manager went out and picked up dallas goddard and didn't miss a beat because dallas
47:35Andy Holloway:goddard was four for 77 and two you've heard the brock bowers news man day to day well it's it's Kubiak.
47:44Jason Moore:Kubiak's totally going to play this week.
47:46Mike Wright:Truth telling. I actually think he's back in like really, maybe not this week, but next week. Yeah, maybe next week. I mean, it's been very, very positive. We should have brought it up on yesterday's show. It's hard because Kubiak has, he already lied to us. Yeah, I get it. I get it. But I mean, the initial report from others was one to two weeks. And then post-surgery, they said, hey, this was a trim. This looks like one to two weeks. I'm optimistic.
48:13Andy Holloway:we will see the all the positivity was from like reporters and people talking to Kubiak all the reports from people who know medical procedures are like yeah but that would surprise me yeah yeah because they're former trims are usually I just don't know
48:29Jason Moore:the details yeah we we don't know the details I don't know if there's like you know like when you're getting your hair cut like oh I'm taking six inches off or I'm you know just right oh Oh, you're trimming the trim? I don't know. You don't want to get a bowl cut. No, not on your knee.
48:43Andy Holloway:I've got to tell you, Jay, I don't know if you're a long-haired guy ever in your life. A six-inch trim off of your hair? I am today. That's not a trim.
48:52Jason Moore:Sure, but my point is we do have data on this procedure. I don't know if they're all the same, but it's usually three or four weeks.
49:00Mike Wright:Well, here's what I need to once again say out loud. For goodness sakes, can I get anybody to believe in Dallas Goddard? I said it all offseason. Which, by the way, in case you're curious, this was the tight end three last year. Did you know that? He's a tight end three. And then you remove A.J. Brown, and it's very clear that the presence of Devontae Smith does not match A.J. Brown in terms of demand of targets. The presence of Devontae Smith, he's going to have his days. But I said it last week before the game. I said it all offseason. Dallas Goddard came out, and he's four for 77 and two touchdowns.
49:34Mike Wright:He plays 95 % of snaps. the offense desperately needs him. Mekhi Lemon is on pace for negative 85 yards this year. They desperately need Dallas Goddard. He's going to catch the ball every week. He's always going to be a touchdown threat, and he's sitting there in a lot of leagues. Not too many because some listened, I guess, but I would get him onto your roster. I think every week Dallas Goddard is going to be a competitive player. Eli Stowers is on IR and irrelevant.
50:00Jason Moore:Did you see? So Eli Stowers, their second-round rookie pick, who I know we were on IR now. He's on the IR.
50:06Andy Holloway:Yeah, he's super hurt.
50:07Jason Moore:With his hamstring. Did you see the interview with him? Like, it was the day before they put him on IR. He was talking about how he's really excited for week one. He's ready to go. This is not an injury. No, it's not. We don't need you right now. You need to get better. That's IR. I'm not ready. Yes, exactly.
50:26Mike Wright:But look, to me, Goddard is the number one pickup on my list. And then close behind is Jawan Johnson. Take advantage of the fact he didn't get involved early in that game. He's a go-to target. Still seven targets. You know, I'd rather flex Juwan Johnson than Devon Vele if it's me in a regular week. Man, just a Vele-hater. He hates him. Well, it's not hate. It's just neutrality. I'm just neutral about Devon Vele. I think there's, I mean, if I start Kendrick Bourne, I might get the same thing. If I start Pat Bryant, I might get the same thing. It's not, I just don't think Vele is a special talent able to emerge to be a superstar.
51:00Mike Wright:That's all. it's just I think he's a wide receiver 2-3 and I think Juwan Johnson is special around the goal line so I like Juwan Johnson he's less rostered I love Juwan too
51:10Jason Moore:we're all in on Juwan Johnson at the tight end position I think it's great he's obviously still rostered in most leagues but he's available in about 40 % of leagues my number one tight end pickup obviously if Dallas Goddard was there Juwan Johnson's there if I need a start those are your top two those are the guys that I feel most confident starting i would follow that up with actually hunter henry i think the matchup for the next two weeks is really good against tight ends and without aj brown he might come in and it's just like who could throw a touchdown to a tight end great but if i already have someone i've you know i'm you know i'm not really like i have to get someone else in there to play i would i would be
51:50Andy Holloway:picking up kenyon i agree i do actually agree he only played 42 of snaps which is on one hand a
51:56Jason Moore:a really, you know, it's a reason not to pick him up, right? Like, oh, he's not very involved. But as a rookie who was missing the majority of camp, when he was out there, he was targeted three times, got all three. He was given a handoff, which he scored on. So he had a touchdown in his rookie week one. I think that there's a player that absolutely, I mean, he will be picked up in every league, but it's like the upside of him.
52:22Mike Wright:You think he'll get picked up in every league?
52:24Jason Moore:I think he'll be ignored in a lot of leagues. I think someone in most leagues will take a shot on stashing him in the hopes that he is a very highly drafted guy.
52:35Mike Wright:33 % rostered right now. I bet he doesn't give it above 50. I think he'll be ignored this week. I think he's a great pickup because players of this caliber, first-round picks with the talent of Sadiq, you're going to see a workload increasing over the course of the year.
52:50Andy Holloway:We saw an injury update on Omar Cooper. Omar Cooper. Omar Cooper. Whatever it is.
53:00Jason Moore:That first round guy that no one cared about,
53:03Andy Holloway:who had a great catch, and was like, oh, hey, look at Cooper. Then he got hurt. Okay, high ankle, so he'll be out for quite a while.
53:12Jason Moore:Which part of the problem for both of those guys was the fact that you just drafted two guys that kind of work in the same area of the field. So, yeah, I think Sadiq is.
53:21Andy Holloway:I mean, talk about Kenyon Sadiq's quarterback, Jason.
53:25Jason Moore:Man, one of the best on-target accuracy. I think the best on-target accuracy percentage in week one. Hey, Jacoby was number one in PFF. Yeah, I saw that.
53:35Andy Holloway:I think Geno was in the top five. People were not happy with the PFF rankings this week.
53:41Jason Moore:Because Caleb Williams is at 20.
53:43Mike Wright:What are you doing?
53:44Jason Moore:Josh Allen was in the top 12 either, who against the number one defense was, I don't know, just perfect. Let's just focus on Geno Smith.
53:53Andy Holloway:But Geno Smith and Jacoby Brissett. They got that one right.
53:56Mike Wright:Yeah. Two other things. I would have been in on Britain Strange if I knew that BTJ was out. I thought that would have been a good spot start. That's fair. Michael Mayer, I think he's going to get targeted as long as Bowers is out. He's a good one to two-week start. And then the Muth, you know, if you want to chase his five for 46, you can do it.
54:12Andy Holloway:You can do it worse.
54:14Mike Wright:And then the question, one of the questions that came in, would you drop Fannin for Goddard? And I would not want to drop Fannin. Right.
54:22Jason Moore:If you had to play one of them, you would play Goddard. So if you only have one roster spot. I probably don't drop him. No, I wouldn't either. You probably have someone else to drop.
54:33Mike Wright:Yeah, yeah. Defensive options for this week. Why not target them Browns? Deshaun Watson is sure to make the fumbliest, interception-iest mistakes. So that's the Buccaneers. Sorry, the Buccaneers defense faces the Browns. There you go. The 49ers face Miami. Miami, those are the top two of the week. Packers face the Jets. We'll see. And then the Chiefs. Was that a, you're getting a little bullish on the Jets offense? That's me saying I don't know that that'll be a smash play after one week. But it should be. But it's in New York. I mean, it's not like, I'm not as in on that as I would be like, I loved what I saw from the Chiefs defense last night.
55:13Mike Wright:And the Colts looked a little rumbly bumbly during week one. The Chiefs are a great pickup.
55:18Jason Moore:They were my most drafted team coming into week one simply because I don't feel like Indy is a team you can't play against. They could be okay, but for a good defense like what we saw in the Chiefs, following that, you get the Miami Dolphins and the Las Vegas Raiders. So you've got like a month of a really good start for the Chiefs defense.
55:39Andy Holloway:I will shout out the Carolina Panthers. Absolutely. I know they got roasted. It's the Chicago Bears. They're going to do that to everybody this year. How about Cooper Rush? if yeah I mean you have the that built in if it's Cooper Rush then I then it's Cleveland I might want yes I was like I if it's Cooper Rush I might play the Panthers over the Bucs this week that's going to be pretty close but you get the two for if you pick up the Panthers because get the Falcons this week and you get the Cleveland Browns next week that was the waiver wire presented by T-Mobile
56:10Mike Wright:when you're updating your roster right before kickoff you've got coverage you can count on And just another reason game days are better with T-Mobile. Check it out at T-Mobile.com slash membership.
56:23Jason Moore:Full stream ahead.
56:27Well, it is the conclusion of week one.
56:30Mike Wright:We're going into week two. We've got a streaming quarterback each and every week for you. If you need to make a spot start, make a decision. Maybe you're feeling grossed out by the performance you got from, I don't know, Bo Nix or something. And you want to start somebody else this week.
56:42Jason Moore:I like Jason's streamer the most this week yeah in in week two it's really not usually a streamer off of the waivers I think this year a lot of people drafted multiple quarterbacks and this
56:56Mike Wright:year this is like yeah they'll hit the waiver wire this week there'll be some quarterbacks
57:00Jason Moore:hitting this week yeah but like Bo Nix yeah it's possible yeah and I would I would pick him up for the long term although his schedule is tough but I think Brock Purdy is a guy who's probably on a A lot of benches. Wasn't necessarily drafted to be everyone's starter. Great matchup against Miami. They're 13.5-point home favorites. And the truth is he's just freaking good. He is. He's good. He's a super good quarterback.
57:23Andy Holloway:Perfect system, and he is the perfect quarterback for the system.
57:26Jason Moore:Yes, and now he has Mike Evans, a touchdown machine around the end zone. So passing touchdowns are easier to come by for Brock Purdy. And more and more. We should see more and more George. yeah for sure i honestly what's crazy is i george really impressed me i know it's like he got was like two for 12 in the game yeah he's a target for me but he impressed he's a trade target he got picked up as a second tight end by a lot of people the way that he played the way that he ran i was like okay you know they they got him off to a slow start yeah as to be expected they
58:00Andy Holloway:went to him real fast which was delightful to see but i do think by the time this season
58:05Mike Wright:finishes he could be very good i'm gonna throw patrick mahomes out there he was only started in 31 of least knee injury yeah i i was impressed i i think that uh it'll be better through the air this upcoming week on sunday night football against indianapolis we're getting mike's getting primetime ken bone walker again i mean we got monday night sunday night back to back but this is six and a half point home favorites high implied point total colts were dead last in yards per play allowed last week i think mahomes is going to have a couple big plays maybe it's a thornton touchdown maybe it's a screen pass so you think he'll have a completed pass over 10 yards i do believe that'll happen so i'm gonna throw my homes out there as a stream and don't worry if you're in
58:44Andy Holloway:deep leagues i got you covered it's disgusting and this is a projection i don't think kyler murray is going to play i i love this pick it's carson wentz it's the chicago bears it is the defense that made a quarterback who can barely get to 200 yards on a regular basis look like an absolute superstar in Bryce Young. It's the third highest over under of the week right now. Bears were 28th in yards per play allowed in week one. And Carson Wentz is just it's production. We love Kevin O 'Connell quarterbacks who are at least competent and Carson Wentz definitely is. We saw Justin Jefferson got rescued.
59:27Jason Moore:I also think that you could attach Kyler here. Kyler will probably be dropped in most leagues. He was drafted essentially as a backup quarterback. I don't think people are going to want to hang on to him through the concussion. But should he progress? Because he was at meetings, which is a sign that he could...
59:46Mike Wright:It'll be this week or next. Yeah, exactly. Probably next.
59:49Jason Moore:But if he's back this week against the Bears, I would play Kyler as well.
59:53Mike Wright:It's a good point. If he's a sudden start, it's a great matchup. No more fadeaway jumpers. That was the end. That was the end. That was the end. Wednesday we've got take checks. You are incorrect Andy.
1:00:10Andy Holloway:That is just the beginning. Is it? I got something in here. You got something special? No it's not real special. I got to get this thing in a better spot.
1:00:21Mike Wright:I think he got enough attention on the show today. I think we're doing good.
1:00:26Andy Holloway:What if I do this one?
