Key claims
- Raiders named Kirk Cousins Week 1 starter.
- Falcons still don’t have a QB named; they’re preparing for Week 1 anyway.
- Ashen Genti expected to play; Mike Washington Jr. could reduce Genti’s workload (projection discussed: Washington around 140 carries).
- Jonathan Brooks vs Chuba Hubbard: 50/50 split, with Hubbard first carry.
- Mock strategy debates: “hero RB,” position-splitting at the turn, and late QB value.
Notable examples (draft picks)
Jameer Gibbs (101), James Cook, Christian McCaffrey (mentioned), Drake London, Brock Bowers, AJ Brown, Justin Jefferson, Malik Neighbors, Devontae Adams, Joe Burrow, Marvin Harrison Jr. (targeted), DK Metcalf (debated), and late stashes like Jordan Tyson and Tucker Kraft.

Monday Night Football, every week, every game on NFL Network. Now also available with an ESPN Unlimited plan. And for the first time ever, Super Bowl 61. Marquee matchups, MVP quarterbacks, international games, the whole season start to finish. Football's on ESPN. This episode is brought to you by State Farm. Every football fan is different. Some won't wash their lucky mustard-stained jersey until the season's over. Some insist they can't sit down on third downs, and some pick their favorite team because, I don't know, just like football fandom, nobody's life is exactly the same, and that's why State Farm gets to know you, not as a policy number but as an actual person, so they can help personalize a coverage plan that's just for you.
0:59Jason Moore:Whether it's game day or just another Tuesday, State Farm has you covered. Hi, this is Troy Polamalu, and you're listening to Fantasy Footballers Podcast.
1:14Jason Moore:Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
1:33Mike Wright:Welcome in. That was pretty good, Andy. Thank you. Some people say I sound like... Sounded like a banshee. It seemed like maybe an extinct species of bird. No the
1:53Andy Holloway:Where they like We modeled a mummified Body from whatever Oh and they try to replicate the voice Here's what they would sound like And it goes
2:03Mike Wright:Do you believe any of that stuff? After we messed up How dinosaurs look
2:09Andy Holloway:Well we still don't know
2:12Jason Moore:Well we do know Well no we don't Because of the bones
2:18Mike Wright:shout out to because of the bones apologies in advance for my weakening voice it's been a long week of every person in this entire office being sick in some capacity
2:30Jason Moore:hasn't got me yet
2:32Mike Wright:yeah I don't really know like Mike was a couple weeks ago Al Borland had to fight through it for the entirety of the live show he timed it up perfectly
2:43Jason Moore:he probably got it from Papa Josh a few days before that. I'm pretty you know what? Over the weekend. No, Papa Josh never gets sick. He just has allergies. I had allergies for a day and that was it. Everybody else caught his allergies. Everybody caught his allergies. There's a lot of dust in the air right now.
2:57Mike Wright:Totally. But we're fighting through. It's too important of a week. We got our final mock draft episode today. Aww. Does that make you sad?
3:08Jason Moore:A little bit. That should make you happy. Football is here. I'm really excited for football to happen but mock drafts are so fun and obviously that
3:15Mike Wright:will be gone for a long time yeah but i mean now it's the capstone mock draft it's the best one of
3:22Jason Moore:the year okay we have well then whoever's got the first pick better do great yeah what a
3:27Mike Wright:decision you have at number one jason i like that i got the same spot as the last draft that was fun um oh man we have the sent brooks into a cold sweat oh i i mean i i know he is panicking it is I think I am in the exact same spot. But that's what random things happen sometimes. How random things happen. The UDK is available now. Tons of you drafting this week at UltimateDraftKit.com, all of our tier-based projections. And you'll have the app available to you for all the research you need. It's always being updated. Prepare yourself to dominate your draft. Set the foundation for your league. We also have – we are outpacing last year with our megalobal entries.
4:11Mike Wright:Oh. What is the total at?
4:14Jason Moore:Right now, it was over 17 ,000 people playing with us in the Megalobowl. I don't know the exact number, but we need to get it basically over 21 ,000 to beat last year. So go to Megalobowl.com if you are unaware what that is. It's just another fantasy league to play in. It's not, Justin. Jason. I was just starting. I didn't like your start.
4:39Andy Holloway:I did not care for your tone at all. Listen to this.
4:41Jason Moore:A tall. is not just another fantasy football league. Thank you. This is a fantasy football league where you're going to play with other Foot Clan members, meaning you know they're like-minded, they've got a good sense of humor, they know what they're doing, they're fun, but also it's challenging. You don't have any schlub in that league, and so you've got to work the way. That's what TLC was talking about. Right. No, we don't want no schlubs. Yes. It wasn't even schlub, Mike. It was schlub. Oh, that's the joke. That's too far. What is happening this morning? That's too far.
5:15Mike Wright:Let's support it. You're with Mike on this? Yeah.
5:17Jason Moore:All right.
5:18Mike Wright:Have you heard a joke on this show before? It's a rhyme, and rarely are we accurate with the – Oh, my gosh. We don't try to be on the nose.
5:25Jason Moore:If you want another fancy football league, go to Megaloball.com. That's it.
5:28Mike Wright:Quick question of the day from Brayton. Can you guys incorporate more updates from your league of record?
5:33Jason Moore:We can. It's funny. We get asked this all the time, and so I guess we should. I feel like we have done that more. But it is one of those things.
5:39Andy Holloway:No one really wants to talk about the League of Record this year.
5:42Jason Moore:Wait a minute. I don't really want to talk about it, Jay. I mean, unless you want to talk about me being the champ from last year.
5:48Mike Wright:Let's just focus on 2027. Let's play a game where we go in a circle and name all the players I already have on my team. Ready? Mike, you start.
5:56Jason Moore:No, no, no. Let me start because it's easy.
5:59Mike Wright:Malik Neighbors.
6:00Jason Moore:I'm done.
6:01Mike Wright:No, no, no. Not on your team. We're talking about my team and the players I have on my team. So you start. I refuse yeah okay nobody wants to play this game no we just think of the six best players in the league and then just put them on my team um no we I mean we love we we've talked about it a lot we had Al and I face off in a championship game uh a couple years ago Mike had his year of Mike the year before that we had the betrayal by two-thirds of the of the deucer's alley that would be Papa Josh and then the quiet one that was totally guilty that puts his hands up like he's under arrest right now um falsely accused but luckily I won that title and it was no big deal um so there you go oh we we give you guys updates we just don't want to overwhelm the show with like our personal lead but I know that you guys get excited about our competitiveness and the times we get to mock one another and Jason eventually will have a player on his team actually play Josh Jacob-Nabors combo right now?
7:02Jason Moore:Yeah, I lost Jonathan Taylor to the lottery Traded away the artist formerly known as Travis Etienne I have Malik-Nabors who might not play And I have Josh Jacobs as my other keeper So it's 2027, boys
7:17Mike Wright:I'm so excited to be able to host this mock draft today
7:20Jason Moore:Yeah, it's going to go well for you News and notes from around the league
7:29Mike Wright:The Raiders have named Kirk Cousins as the team's week one starter.
7:34Jason Moore:Well, that's better than the Falcons. The Falcons have... What are we even doing here? We're days away from... They are currently practicing for week one. We're at the point where training camps are over, the inter-team scrimmages are over. They are preparing for week one. But they don't know who their quarterback is. because they they won't have i don't back i don't know the year like i know we've started our our week one rankings a little bit like behind the scenes but we haven't i haven't really been diving into the matchups i don't know who the falcons play week one but i'm taking
8:10Mike Wright:the other team so are they it's rare to have they're at pittsburgh yep sure great they could have been it's very rare to name a starting quarterback after september 1st uh this year we have cousins the last two years nobody did that before that it was um the cardinals yeah not a serious organization makes sense it was uh trubisky and the steelers on september 6th of 2022 to rod taylor 2021 yeah i'm not seeing like a string of all pros getting named starters yeah

8:44Andy Holloway:i think there is there is a nathan peterman there's a direct correlation with naming your started this late and having a horrifically bad year clint kubiak says he's optimistic ash and
8:56Mike Wright:genti will play week one against the dolphins i there's so much whispers in the bushes about mike washington jr having a big role where are you guys with that uh i'm i i think there's been
9:06Jason Moore:enough smoke um certain things said by kubiak where i'm not back to where i started where i started when kubiak came here was i was like full out on genti um i thought it would be a time share Or like what they did in Seattle. Exactly, what you saw coming off a Super Bowl where you took Ken Bone Walker and you put him behind Charbonnet. I'm not back to that place, but I do think that Mike Washington Jr., what he's done in preseason, what he's done in camp, and with the ability, like if they have a player in Mike Washington, which I was very skeptical of, then they will rest Gentile more with us.
9:44Jason Moore:So I've moved the needle a little bit. I think I've got Mike Washington up to like 140 carries somewhere around there, which is not a ton, but it's certainly not the situation where I view Ashen Gentry as what Christian McCaffrey was last year.
10:03Mike Wright:Mike Evans back at practice on Wednesday. Okay.
10:07Jason Moore:Hold on. Hold on.
10:09Andy Holloway:We're getting breaking news. Mike Evans has left practice.
10:14Jason Moore:I'm just assuming. Yeah, no, you're right. I haven't heard anything. Mike Evans will be back in the news tomorrow.
10:18Mike Wright:Yeah. But he's practicing. That is good.
10:22Jason Moore:That is good.
10:26Mike Wright:Working off to the side, projected to be ready for week one. The world would like us to clarify that it was a toe sprain, not turf toe. He seems, I mean, I've watched a lot of. I don't think we know. We don't really know what's going on. They have not said turf toe. That's all I'm reporting. The team has not said. The team has said sprain toe, not turf toe. There is a difference. He is still trying to basically be able to cut on that foot, on that toe. He's been going through all the motions this week, trying to strengthen that, see if he's ready for week one.
11:02Andy Holloway:You know, it's our medical guy, Matthew Betts, certified PT, is reminding us. Turf toe is a sprain of the big toe.
11:14Mike Wright:yeah you can't turf toe the small ones right that's why i know that they're just saying it's
11:18Jason Moore:a sprained toe it could it could still be turf toe yeah it's which toe is it and it's because of the recovery and the struggles with it it definitely feels like turf toe yeah i i don't
11:28Mike Wright:know i don't know i um i think we hope to see him out there in week one and maybe he ends up dropping an adp panthers coach dave canal says he is optimistic jonathan brooks will play in week one. General Soreness reporting for duty.
11:44Jason Moore:He's trying to keep him out. How do you guys project... Get to the sideline soldier! How do you guys project the Jonathan Brooks Chuba week one split? 50-50. And who gets the first carry?
11:59Andy Holloway:Chuba. Yeah, I think Chuba... I bet this just... We're probably hot hand the entire season.
12:07Mike Wright:Well, Brooks should have a hotter hand i think that's tuba's had very few hot hands in i mean you you that's what he's a warm-handed
12:14Andy Holloway:running back the your fantasy football drafters you're making your choice of of who you think it will be but i think it will be very frustrating back and forth of they've been a good running team they the yes they they can have a very good running scheme they have a solid offensive line but like last year it was i mean it started as chuba and then rico takes over and then it was hot hand so i just think week to week that's this could be pretty tough if if one of them is seemingly going to take over eventually it probably should be jonathan brooks but i think it is a i think it's a sketchy move or week to week i don't know that you're gonna be able to really
13:00Mike Wright:count on either of them any other news no not at this time okay um by the way we wanted to make the falcon do the welcome in today knowing my voice is a little weak but like but we love you foot clan yeah i mean the gag just would have fallen flatter somehow blah all right we're gonna take a quick break uh an early break and then we'll jump into our final mock draft of the season.
13:28Mike Wright:What's up, Foot Clan? You are confident and disciplined and focused on details, just like everyone here at the Fancy Footballers, right? Those are words you'd use to describe us. In other words, you were made to drive the 2026 Sierra 1500 Denali, a full-size pickup combining capability with elevated design and advanced technology. You can seek out the exceptional with the Denali. Their standard 5.3 liter V8 engine and 10-speed automatic transmission. It's got a bold design. We like bold designs. 15:23Jason Moore:the fantasy footballers mock draft
15:29Mike Wright:all right our final mock draft jason at the one spot mike at the five spot i'm at nine it's a 12 team mock one quarterback two running back two wide receivers one tight end one flex four bench away we go jason make your pick oh wow yeah oh wow shock the world here at the one oh shock
15:49Jason Moore:take jameer gibbs have some courage um maybe i'll get sailor jerry at the end just kidding he's just a reason to not draft anyone other than gibbs with the 101 also known as the player andy gets to draft in the League of Record on Monday.
16:06Mike Wright:I have heard from a lot of people. I mean, McCaffrey's going at 104 right now. Gibbs, Bijon, Chase, McCaffrey. But I have heard a lot of back and forth from people nervous about taking McCaffrey. Yeah, for sure. Tale as old as time.
16:22Jason Moore:Yeah. I have been one of those people where I am still a little hesitant when there's a tie-breaking. Like right now, he went number four. For me, he would probably go around seven. I would take JSN and Amon Ra over McCaffrey just because of those fears. But, I mean, if you're trying to win a championship and looking for the highest possible upside, it's usually Christian McCaffrey.
16:53Andy Holloway:Mike, you're on the clock. All right. So we talked a little bit about Puka and his situation yesterday. We don't have clarity as of this point. It seems like Puka will be playing week one. I just saw a promo video for the Rams 49ers getting ready for the Australia game, and Puka is heavily featured in said video. So the NFL at least is still putting that material out. But I'm going to try something a little bit different here. I think James Cook is an elite running back. And I'm going to take him here over the wide receivers and see what my team, see if I like what happens with the team on the way back.
17:40Jason Moore:I mean, we just did the draft of offenses, and obviously the Bills are one of those top five elite offenses that you want pieces of, and Cook will score a ton of touchdowns.
17:50Mike Wright:With Mike on the clock, I knew that there was a five-pack of guys, maybe six, that I was into. This one's interesting. Cook, Puka, Jonathan Taylor, and then A-Chan.
18:00Andy Holloway:Oh, man. That one away.
18:01Mike Wright:The highest of T. Look, I just want to bang the table one final time before the season starts for Devon A. Champ. There is... You sure about that? I'm so certain. This is why. Yeah. This is why. This is the third best running back in football, in my opinion.
18:21Jason Moore:Whoa.
18:22Mike Wright:And... What? Yeah.
18:24Jason Moore:You're saying as a...
18:26Mike Wright:I think as a talent, as a versatile... I mean, this was the only back that was absolutely the most consistent running back last year on a team that was... Do you remember the Tua? What are we talking about with the Falcons? Tua is a terrible quarterback. And I know he has his propensity to get the ball. He loves checking it down. A-Chan is an elite running back. People are underestimating Malik Willis and this offense. Chris Bell is going to be there from day one. And A-Chan is going to be worthy of this pick at the end of the year.
19:02Jason Moore:Are you saying that if you were an NFL GM, you would? Number three. You would take him number three. Number three. So you'd take him ahead of? Cook. Hampton and Gentry. Yes. And Cook. Yes.
19:14Mike Wright:Jonathan Taylor. I think he's the third best all around running back in football. All right. I have, unfortunately, a weird selection because of that. I thought I'd get Amon Ra or JSN. Now I have to choose between them. So I'll just take Jackson Smith and Jigba at 109.
19:31Andy Holloway:Yeah, that makes sense. But between him and Amon Ra, or I'm sorry, yeah, I guess. Jay, are you still JSN firmly over Amon Ra? No, certainly not. Not firmly. I struggle with those two. I do too.
19:44Jason Moore:I think they're in the exact same tier. I could see it going either way. I mean, JSN has far more target market share of his team, but the offense, I think, is far better for the Lions as far as total points scored on the season and the way that they play. So, yeah, I mean, I'm fine either way. Honestly, I would love to be in Julia's spot where she gets to get Amon-Raw St. Brown at the 10 spot.
20:14Andy Holloway:Yeah, so we got Amon-Raw, CeeDee Lamb, and Kenneth Walker finishing out the first round. Good work, Matt, honoring Ken Bun Walker to be a first-round selection.
20:23Jason Moore:He took him ahead of Barkley.
20:24Andy Holloway:yeah that's right Saquon Barkley you're a second round pick then Chase Brown Hampton goes to Julia and then Andy wasting no time in selecting Justin Jefferson yeah I was Jefferson or AJ Brown there for me um did not take the pick of Jinty and at the running back spot I just prefer the JSN
20:49Mike Wright:and Jefferson combo. We'll go wide receiver, wide receiver.
20:52Andy Holloway:So after Jefferson, we get Ashton Janty, Nico Collins, Derek Henry. I am back on the clock. I took James Cook in the first, which I did. I mean, seeing how the draft board has unfolded, that really worked out. We went very high T, very heavy in the running backs, and A.J. Brown, an elite wide receiver one, did fall to me as compared to, you know the running backs on the board here would be Kyron Jeremiah Love fine players but getting to start with two elite like an elite running back and elite wide receiver that feels pretty good so I'm going to take AJ Brown then when Josh Allen first quote whoa first quarterback off of the board in the second round I guess baby Jake just he needs him some Josh Allen Kyle takes George Pickens Devontae Smith and then Jason you are back on the clock
21:44Jason Moore:so this is this is really really interesting to me there's three players at three different positions that are kind of a tear break at all of them I mean obviously you've got both Brock Bowers and Trey McBride so I could take the tight end which here at the 2-3 turn I feel like is a great value but there's also good value with Drake London you know he's been a player I haven't been as hot on but he started the year because of the PUA but he that was also because he was starting the year like near the end of the first round very beginning of the second round going ahead of you know it was like you were basically in the am I taking London or Justin Jefferson I think we've talked that situation down enough to where man he's here and then at running back I do think Jeremiah Love at the 2-3 turn is totally you're near his floor and you still have crazy upside But since I've got Gibbs, I think I'm going to go more hero running back.
22:45Jason Moore:I'll take Drake London, and I'm doing that so that I can say I got a third round Brock Bowers. What a value, Jason. Brock Bowers. Oh, my goodness. But that sets me up. Gibbs, London, and Bowers, one of each. I do prefer. People talk about what strategy do you have at the turn. I prefer, and I don't always do this, but I find that I'm happier when I split my positions at the turn. If I go running back, running back, or wide receiver, wide receiver, the flexibility, I just have to have, I don't get any choice of the next 24 picks, and I just have to get lucky that the position available is there for me.
23:23Jason Moore:Whereas if I kind of go running back, wide receiver, take one of each, the next time you come back around, you have more flexibility to take what's left on the board.
23:32Andy Holloway:All right, so you took Brock Bowers. Brooksie takes Kyron, so he has started with two running backs, then Brees Hall, then Jeremiah Love. That puts me back on the clock trying to pull up my rankings here and see who is left. At the wide receiver position, this is the area where you've got to kind of start figuring out, are you willing to go on Malik Neighbors? I had all of my chips in on Malik. did not like the press conference of the, I'll play when I'm ready. I mean, I know he's just kind of up there talking openly, but I thought we were going to be ready for week one here, Mr. Malik Neighbors.
24:14Andy Holloway:At running back, Javante, Cam Scadaboo, Travis H.N. Jr., that's kind of the top of the ADP list for the running back position. but I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to take Chris Olave to go with AJ Brown so two wide receivers one running back Matthew Betts right after me takes Malik Neighbors Trey McBride follows that up Papa Josh takes Ladd McConkie right in front of Andy because of course this is what Papa Josh has to do Andy you're on the clock you have two wide receivers you got JSN
24:46Jason Moore:and Justin Jefferson yeah I mean I get that Ladd was his my guy but given that he's got two wide receivers, I would imagine you're looking not at wide receivers. It's DeAndre Swift. I'm taking DeAndre Swift at 3-0-9. In the third?
24:58Mike Wright:Yeah, I mean, we don't have Mononga to start the season. I like the pass catching.
25:01Andy Holloway:Well, he's week to week.
25:03Mike Wright:Yeah, well, there's one week until football. So, no, I think DeAndre Swift right now, especially early season, will be a steal. Jameson – or, sorry, Javante does go next, and Rice, McMillan, Waddle, and Ibuka. Colston Loveland off the board at the 4-0-3, and I am going running back again. I'm taking Jadarian Price.
25:21Jason Moore:Wow, that's really high ADP-wise for him. I had him flagged to come to me at the 4-12. This is where he's going to go in drafts. He's not going to fall to where his normal ADP is. I think people are realizing the situation for a first-round back is pretty perfect on a rookie that could be something special you don't know. So I don't mind that at all, taking Swift and Price there. I think you're off to a decent start.
25:45Mike Wright:There are rumors that we'll hear more about Jadarian Price on tomorrow's episode of the show. not from me but from somebody else swift and price at running backs json and jefferson as my wide receivers flowers wilson higgins and then mike is back on the clock i am back aj brown and alabe yep uh at the running back position scadaboo is still there scadaboo is starting to
26:13Andy Holloway:feel jay where are you with yeah no i mean my my risk is starting to feel i think that he is an
26:20Jason Moore:elite talent i really do i i'm i think he's a headache for this team and i don't know that harbaugh loves him i think that this is a we do have a clip that just came out but we haven't
26:32Andy Holloway:been able to watch it got shared in here it's uh scataboo's talking to k adams and the headline is Skadaboo considered retiring after the season-ending injury. I have to watch to get all the full context.
26:44Mike Wright:Speaking on Up and Adam, Skadaboo said he told himself in college that he would retire if suffering a major injury.
26:50Jason Moore:Well, he lied because he suffered a major injury and he has not retired. No, I mean, it's not just the injury. Obviously, you've got Judkins and Skadaboo coming off of the injury. Skadaboo on a better timeline, and he's been doing stuff for a long time. He says he's fully – we talked to him in New York, and he said he was fully good to go. he over flipped on his back flip yada yada I think I'm more scared of the situation on a coaching and opportunity standpoint are we scared of Najee I'm scared of Nagy you said almost oh okay I mean I get it we shouldn't be scared of of the competition there Cam Scadaboo shouldn't have to be Cam Scadaboo is significantly better than those this version of Najee and Tyrone Tracy and Devin Singletary.
27:40Jason Moore:I would like to have Scadaboo on my team, but I would like him to be my running back three.
27:47Andy Holloway:Yeah, I get it. So quarterback-wise, it's still just Josh Allen off the board. Baby Jake will let you sit in the fact that you did that. At the wide receiver position, top of ADP would be DJ Moore, Terry McLaurin, Devontae Adams is there. But look, We're in the fourth. I don't know that the mock draft has really unveiled itself where I've been able to do this. Luther Burden, baby. Okay, I will do that. Luther, finally, finally it worked out. Luther Burden is on the squad. He joins A.J. Brown and Chris Olave. After I take Luther, goes D.J. Moore, Travis H.N. Jr., David Montgomery goes to Brooks.
28:30Andy Holloway:He's pretty high T over there. Jason, you're at the turn.
28:33Jason Moore:you are back on the clock um we're back on the scadaboo conversation this would be my running back two not my running back three which i would prefer but there is a tear break here um it really bucky irving is going to be such a fascinating story this year everything in preseason everything in camp has been that kenny gainwell is super involved and is kind of taking the passing work while Bucky is doing all of the primary running duties. So that'll be interesting to unfold. There's also, you know, you look at ADP and you see Josh Jacobs there. Obviously that's not happening. No. But when you see Josh Jacobs there, you've got to ask yourself what you're doing with Marshawn Lloyd or with the Green Bay Packer running back situation.
29:16Andy Holloway:That is a good tip of let Josh Jacobs be the reminder for your Marshawn Lloyd ADP of because this is a I mean I don't want to speak for you Jay but it's like we're at the point where someone's probably going to draft Marshawn Lloyd pretty soon so you're at the turn if you were a Lloyd believer you would have to do it right here I couldn't draft him over
29:38Jason Moore:Scadaboo Bucky Irving some of those guys that you know we're still betting on a a super fragile guy I mean I know the whole injury I was talking to Mike outside of the studio before. I was like, my top 10 tips and tricks are the things to remember episode. At the end of this year, I'm going to look back at Jonathan Brooks and Marshawn Lloyd and Kendra Miller, and I'm just going to see, was it like, oh, we should have known? Or, hey, there is no such thing as injury prone. I'm going to take Cam Scadaboo. At this point, he represents kind of a tier for the rest of the running backs. And then at wide receiver, I would take Jamison Williams.
30:18Jason Moore:Like, that's who I want to take. But I've got Gibbs. I don't want to do the wide receiver running back thing. And I'm more and more and more and more and more bullish on Devontae Adams. The old man has been rising to me. So I think he's going to have a really successful season. The only worry I have with Adams is at his age, if an injury happens, it will be, you know, it's always.
30:47Mike Wright:You got the peptide protocols in place? I hope so, man. I hope so. Who doesn't? Devontae Adams, Jamison Williams, Tyler Warren, Roma Dunze. All guys add my eye on this round. Mike, you're back on the clock. I...
31:00Andy Holloway:Now I'm down bad in terms of just overall strategy. I mean, I could keep going with the hero RB build. Yeah, Basial. I mean, if I'm taking a running back, looking at Bucky, Trevo, Basial Tudon, I would be taking Tootin. However, Christian Watson is still here in round five. He would be on my bench if I am drafting him. Because you have three wide receivers already. So I've already filled my two wide receiver spots and the flex position. Oh, that is brutal. I had my eye on possibly going Tyler Warren, but Kyle snagged him two picks.
31:43Jason Moore:You also in the fifth round here have your choice of all quarterbacks. Back's not named Josh Allen.
31:49Andy Holloway:So I do love Lamar. I'm in a full forgiveness of last year for Lamar. I think he's going to be solid.
32:00Mike Wright:But... Oh, Mike can't. He has no idea what he's doing.
32:02Andy Holloway:No, I do. I do. Why don't you tell us? I'm taking... The but was...
32:08Jason Moore:Because of A.J. Brown.
32:08Andy Holloway:Was I have A.J. Brown, and I can have the Drake May-A.J. Brown stack. I don't feel like I overpaid for Drake May. and even though I'm still riding with just one running back, I feel all right with it.
32:21Mike Wright:Interesting. Not even tempted by Bucky there, huh?
32:24Andy Holloway:I told you, man. I'm just like, I don't want Bucky. I don't want to draft Bucky. Well, you did exactly what you're supposed to do
32:32Mike Wright:when you don't want somebody.
32:33Jason Moore:I feel like at this point, when you're in the middle of the fifth round, Bucky is... He's about to be on my team.
32:39Mike Wright:But we'll take a break first.
32:45Andy Holloway:No matter what triumphs are in store this season, legendary game days start with a Miller Lite. Go to MillerLite.com slash footballers to find delivery options near you, or you can pick up some Miller Lite pretty much anywhere they sell beer. Game time is Miller time. Celebrate responsibly. 34:25Mike Wright:After Drake May, Christian Watson off the board, Mike can't get him. Four wide receivers for Betsy. I know he went to a good home. Well, I don't know. He went to a non-starting home. It doesn't matter.
34:37Andy Holloway:I mean, that's how he stays safe. Me and Betts are Watson bros, so.
34:42Mike Wright:Quinshawn Judkins and Tootin. I have three wide receivers I'm in love with at this spot. I have a quick turn, so I'm going to pull the trigger on Bucky Irving here. And, I mean, getting Swift price, Bucky Irving, 3-4-5. I love that. I have hero wide receivers with JSN and Jefferson. You have a very strong start. I am very happy. Carnell Tate, Lamar Jackson, Travo, Lloyd, and Ramondre. Both wide receivers I wanted made it through.
35:10Jason Moore:What a turn there. Travion Henderson and Marshawn Lloyd. To stack those two guys together is like, what could be?
35:20Mike Wright:Well, I want you guys to help me decide this pick. It's between a player that I think is going to have a humongous season and out kick his ADP in Marvin Harrison Jr. Who, you know, it would be a little bit ahead of his ADP, but in this draft, I got a long wait. It would be here. And Parker Washington, who I continue to believe in the drumbeat. I believe in the fact that he could be the premier one on this team at this point. I'm not worried about Jacoby. BTJ, I feel like the route tree, the utilization is going to be minimal. It'll be big plays and nothing else. And so PPR versus more upside.
36:01Jason Moore:Yeah, I mean, I guess I would default to, obviously, with those two players, some of it has to be, what do you believe? Sounds like you believe in both. You believe the bowl case for both options. In which case, if you think both are good wide receivers, who's got the better environment? Who's on the better offense? That should be an easy one. Is that hat doing things to the brain? Of you saying which one's the better offense? Which one's the better offense? I mean, Vegas projections at the very least.
36:35Andy Holloway:We did just draft what we believe will be the best offenses.
36:39Mike Wright:I didn't think Jacksonville belonged in that top 12.
36:42Andy Holloway:Right, but Arizona's name was not even mentioned.
36:44Jason Moore:Arizona, I believe, is third to last in projected points.
36:47Mike Wright:I understand. It's a priority of like, okay, it's environment, but I think Marvin Harrison is very much the better red zone threat. I think he is more secure in the target share than Parker Washington. I don't know what it's going to be like in Jacksonville this year. And I trust Jacoby Brissett to get the ball to him. I mean, if you saw the numbers, if you heard the numbers from the live show, I know that was bold predictions episode. If Marvin Harrison gets seven or more targets a game, his average fantasy points per game is 16.8. so you look at the offense a healthy Marvin Harrison I'm I'm still going I'm going with
37:27Jason Moore:Marv I'm still a believer in Marvin Harrison Marvin Harrison and Roma Dunes are two guys that I have kind of I feel like been an idiot on according to the world because I still think that they're good players and that they're going to show that the reason they were drafted top 10 in the NFL is because of that most people don't believe that which is why you're getting Marvin
37:46Mike Wright:Harrison in the sixth round I mean to me what better place alongside JSN and Jefferson for Marvin Harrison Parker goes next Jonathan Brooks Joe Burrow Mike you're back on the clock man Joe
37:56Andy Holloway:Burrow at the 607 to stack with T Higgins is a tremendous value so I mean some are not all of our drafts have gone this way the elite quarterbacks have been ADP wise going a bit later So it's just a make sure you're fully paying attention while your draft is going that you don't have – you're not just locked into such a plan that you don't even flip over to that quarterback tab. So that is outrageous to me to get Burrow there. Let's see. Looking at the wide receivers, there's no one really spectacular standing out. I mean, Terry McLaurin here could serve as a huge value. I have a shorter turn so I got eight picks in between uh my next one but I don't know what these clowns are going to do and I don't really want to risk J.K.
38:51Andy Holloway:Dobbins so I'm going to take him here the 608 RB2 yeah he is my running back too and he maybe he's not the full season guy for the Denver Broncos I've mentioned Jonah Coleman kind of he scares me far more than R.J. Harvey does but at least be at the beginning of the year I feel pretty strong that it will be Dobbins. Mike Evans goes after that. We have a little wide receiver run. Mike Evans, Terry McLaurin, Michael Wilson goes to Brooks. Jason, the turn. You are up.
39:20Jason Moore:I'm a little sad. I was going to, if Kyborg did not pull the trigger there on Terry McLaurin, I was going to do something that I haven't
39:27Mike Wright:You were going to go McLaurin-Daniels?
39:29Jason Moore:I was going to go McLaurin-Daniels, despite the fears that we have in the Washington 30-year-old wide receivers. You got Devontae. In the seventh round, sure. um i you know the fears we have with the commander's offense are legitimate but at the same time you have to look at the bull case whenever you're drafting it it's kyle will be drafting jayden daniels probably probably i mean just strategically that would be the move to go for so for me i'm sitting here and i'm like okay i can take uh a quarterback of of my choice but at the turn there there's nobody that is like if burrow had got to me obviously i would have pulled the trigger there I think there's a tear break to all the rest of them there's no stack that I am especially in love with so I'm gonna take again I'm gonna look at the bowl case what is the highest upside potential outcome for certain players I'll take Brian Thomas I don't think that like I don't project him to be the one but obviously we know what he can do on the NFL field he's been a top 10 wide receiver in the past and the best predictor of future success is past success and then I'm stuck here basically feeling like at the turn if I don't take a running back here as my RB3 it's going to be nothing left I've experienced it in every draft so my hand is forced right now to take a running back and I'm going to pull the trigger on Jalen Warren the question of the Steelers backfield I know you guys are on the Rico side I'm on the Warren side I'm just always
41:02Andy Holloway:obligation yes I mean he does pay me well yes no matter where he goes you're on the Rico side but
41:09Jason Moore:as a seventh round RB3 you know you got to take the shot on those ambiguous backfields
41:15Andy Holloway:after so Jason takes Jalen Warren we had multi quarterbacks go Jalen Hurts followed by Jaden Daniels you know the the players we just talked Daniels yesterday of players I'm afraid to be wrong about in the, in the fact of over statting over projecting Jay Daniels in the seventh round is that's, that's truly a ridiculous value. Uh, baby Jake took RJ Harvey. Uh, and then I am back on the clock. It's a pretty easy pick for me here. I will take the man, the myth, the legend. He's recovering from an ACL. I don't care. Seventh rounder Tucker craft. Come on down, baby.
41:57Jason Moore:I've been very anti Tucker Craft in all of my drafts the difference between Tucker Craft in the fifth and Tucker Craft in the seventh what was that? Tucker Crap oh I didn't hear that I heard crack I heard crack it's massive I mean and you say well it's just a couple rounds so that's pretty rough but you look at like who you would have been giving up is a Roma Dunes Judkins like that's why I can't possibly take Kraft over those guys. That feels like an easy Tucker Kraft over those two names. Well, okay. Okay. How about Christian Watson? Okay. That's way. Exactly. But that's my point. You would have, you would have been taking Kraft over, over Watson, which I would not do that a couple of rounds ago, but here you're taking them over, over, you know, backups.
42:46Mike Wright:Rico Dowdle goes at seven Oh six. And then the guy I thought I would easily get in the eighth Alec Pierce goes at seven 707 taken away from me. Harold Fannin, and then I went Dajon Stribling at the 709. That's what you're going to have to do. For the 49ers, Chuba, Mason, Quinton Johnson, Josh Downs, Blake Corum, and then Caleb, my guy. I had a group of basically five quarterbacks I was kind of waiting to decide between. Caleb, Jaden, they both went. I'm trying to decide here, do I want to just let the quarterback position go? I still have some names way later that I'm okay with. I mean, there's still – sorry, let's see.
43:28Andy Holloway:I mean, Dak is the one that stands out.
43:30Mike Wright:You can stack with Bursette. I feel like I could do that maybe a little bit later. Man, maybe I don't go either of those positions.
43:41Andy Holloway:I mean, you're at the point now. So, one, two, three, four, five, six. So we have seven. Seven of the 12 teams have their quarterback. And the names left is Herbert, Dak, Lawrence. If you're in on the upside of Dart, Bo Nix. This is the hard part of taking the, even if you're getting an elite quarterback at a value, when I'm seeing especially guys like Dak be available in the eighth round, that's tough.
44:09Mike Wright:Yeah, I thought about Dak. I went KC Concepcion. I'm going rookie-rookie here. Stribbling, Concepcion, it's a strategy. I often employ. I like taking shots at the most talented, highest upside, highest target share rookies late in drafts. So Stribling, Concepcion, both players I think will have a fantasy impact in year one. Sutton, Golden, Laporta, and Mike back on the clock. You have your onesies already. You're filling out the depth.
44:34Andy Holloway:Yeah, we're looking at filling out the team here. I got again eight picks between this one and the next one do I possibly risk someone sniping DK Metcalf in between my next pick I'd be pretty devastated if it happened but I think it's probably the best thing to do for my team so whatever you guys do don't draft DK Metcalf I'm going to take I'm going to take the upside of Bill Krosky
45:05Mike Wright:I don't know how much you like Metcalf, so I hope he gets back to you. Oh, my gosh, please. Please. I mean, Metcalf is a wide receiver one that nobody wants to touch, which is impossible to believe after last year.
45:18Andy Holloway:I mean, do we look at the situation of last year where it was Aaron Rodgers, it was DK Metcalf, the largest difference would be Mike McCarthy and a different offensive scheme. Do we believe that that will be the difference between last year's DK Metcalf, which was borderline unplayable for the majority of the season? Do we think it corrects itself?
45:43Jason Moore:Yeah, I mean, it could, but that's not the only change, right? Michael Pittman joining the team is also a negative for DK Metcalf. Now, Pittman's been hurt most of camp. If you watched Aaron Rodgers talk about him recently, he didn't seem very – he's like, it is what it is. He hasn't been here. So he was talking – Is he calling Pittman soft? seemed like it man he just seemed frustrated about the fact that look we haven't been able to work on it and this is a player new to the team and you know how Aaron Rodgers gets with like if he can rely on you yeah so with strangers I think Metcalf is a good pick I'm sitting here
46:20Andy Holloway:going Metcalf or Makai Lemon oh don't no Jay I'm not taking Metcalf I am going to take Makai Lemon
46:25Jason Moore:and Dak Prescott. I like the new bit. It's buying yourself one push down pick. Dak Prescott, cheap Joe Burrow a couple rounds later in the eighth. I love. Makai Lemon is what Andy just talked about. He's got Stribbling. He's got Concepcion. The truth is highly drafted first round wide receivers get on the field usually earlier. So I'll take a shot at a first round NFL wide receiver.
46:53Andy Holloway:Yeah. Did you want Lemon? No, I just wanted you guys to take DK Metcalf.
47:00Jason Moore:Oh, because you're sitting here saying, how do I pass on Metcalf?
47:02Andy Holloway:Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no. Passing on, I mean, yeah.
47:06Mike Wright:Just out of curiosity, Mike, Metcalf or Josh Jacobs?
47:10Jason Moore:DK Metcalf. Okay, just checking. Kyle just took Jacobs in the ninth.
47:15Andy Holloway:Okay, okay, whatever, man. At this point, just set your ninth round pick on fire. That's fine. At this point, you know, where it's like not everything is hunky-dory, I want to peek real quick at the rookies, just turning that little rookie button on. Jordan Tyson is there. I think that is – I do have Olave, but Jordan Tyson at this point to go on to my IR is in fact what I'm going to do. I'm not going to – I feel strong that someone would have grabbed him on this turn here. So I will – I'll take Tyson. I'll stash him and hope that when he comes back, everything is great.
47:54Mike Wright:So Metcalf, Diggs, Herbert, I am back on the clock. Again, I have enough depth at wide receiver. Or sorry, I have lots of depth at wide receiver. Not as much at running back. There are some names I really love. Trying to figure out what these guys are going to do. But I have quarterbacks that I'm fine with here. We have three teams without a quarterback? Yeah, and then most of them have tight ends as well. There's three without tight ends, and I have multiple tight ends I really like at this juncture. So I think this might be the first mock draft. I kick those to my final two picks. and I'm going to go back-to-back-to-back rookies.
48:27Mike Wright:I'm taking Chris Bell, wide receiver from the Miami Dolphins, who I want to draw to in this final mock draft. Stribbling conception on Chris Bell, and I'm heavy at the wide receiver position. Addison, Likely, Nix, Kincaid, people closing out their onesie positions, both Likely and Kincaid were under consideration, obviously.
48:50Jason Moore:I am fascinated with the Chris Bell via Caleb Douglas competition for Miami. Chris Bell is back. He missed all of training camp, though. Yes. And while Caleb Douglas, their hire drafted, they took him first, right? Caleb Douglas over Chris Bell? I believe so. Look that up. I want to be accurate on that.
49:13Mike Wright:Oh, because of the kicker. To me, it's not a competition. Chris Bell's going to dominate.
49:18Jason Moore:But Caleb Douglas has just been dominating all offseason. Every report was great. So I'm just curious how that starts week one. Does Chris Bell go from not a part of the offense? I guess I haven't seen that.
49:29Mike Wright:I saw the one catch that got a lot of notoriety, but I haven't seen a lot of positive Douglas.
49:34Jason Moore:There's a lot of drumbeat for him.
49:37Mike Wright:Interesting. All right, I'm going to take Jawan Johnson as my tight end in the 10th round here.
49:43Andy Holloway:Woody Marks goes next. B-Cat takes Jackson Dart. Oh, man. Dart in the 10th. It's the gamble of the quarterback. I felt like I got very good value for Drake May in the 5th, but then the scattering of quarterbacks late, it's tough. It's tough to know if you did the right thing. Jackson Dart goes. Rashad White goes after that. I am back on the clock. My wide receiver crew, I really only have the three, so I'm going to peek at that. We got Jane Reed. We got a soft Michael Pittman. Wandale is there. He should see a bunch of targets. Um, man, Romeo Dobbs is the name that stands out, but do I really want AJ Brown and Romeo Dobbs, uh, here on my team, man, I'm not feeling really strong about any of these wide receivers.
50:41Andy Holloway:So just, uh, I have one more pick after this. I am going to do the thing of look some you i have my priors i still believe in them but sometimes you gotta be like maybe i'm i'm not locked in completely on the situation so i'm gonna take chris rodriguez he's on my short list i figured he would go for sure so in the event maybe i'm wrong about tootin like you gotta be willing to to do those things and then with the 10th round pick that's very low investment
51:12Jason Moore:yeah uh i i think you you have to be open i love that the way you describe it you've got your priors and you've got your opinions but you recognize that there's not 100 hit rate on our on anyone's opinions so the situation to potentially get the you know the more valuable back in chris rodriguez it could be crowns i don't think it will be but it definitely could be yeah uh not a bad pick uh i would have taken him had he gotten to me wandale goes next aaron jones And then Romeo Dobbs was a player I really wanted to get to me. Brooks grabs him one pick ahead of me. I think at this point in the draft, getting the wide receiver two for a really great offense, who they did pay a significant amount of money to, is a good value.
51:58Jason Moore:So now I'm sitting here looking. I'm going to take one running back, one wide receiver. I'm looking for just potential wacky high upside. Like, there's Tyler Algier there. Maybe you've got a week one starter. But I think as the season goes on, he gets less and less valuable. So at wide receiver, I'm between Michael Pittman and Caleb Douglas. You know, the shot of the rookie wide receiver for the Dolphins or the vet. I'm going to go with the data. Caleb Douglas not being a first-round wide receiver. Also, the Dolphins not being a great offense franchise in 2026. I'll take Michael Pittman, put a veteran on my team.
52:38Jason Moore:I feel like going in on a player Aaron Rodgers
52:40Andy Holloway:already doesn't like
52:42Jason Moore:I like Pittman I get it it's a 10th round pick and so that completed my draft Michael Pittman was my last pick the 11th round did start though Jay did it start with Tyler Algier with Brooks I believe it did
52:57Andy Holloway:no you took a guy you took a guy say nothing Caleb Johnson no I didn't I would never I would never I would never have hope
53:12Jason Moore:I would never dream I would never dare to dream I don't want to get hurt again
53:17Andy Holloway:Jason the people have to know no no no no no how how strong are your actual real dreams
53:26Jason Moore:they are genuinely so weak they are it's but a whisper it's so deep down and dark and hidden inside that it's somewhere. It's really bright, but it's so far away. But it was enough for me to take him to the other.
53:43Andy Holloway:All right, you took Caleb Johnson. Tyler Algier goes. Kyle takes Keenan Allen, which, of course, I should have seen that coming. Then it is tanked out. My final decision, I would look with all this Chris Bell, Caleb Douglas talk. I mean, Malik Washington has been a – like, he is a veteran. I think he starts the season as the number one. Is he good enough to hold on to that position? That's the bet for if you want to draft the rookies. But I was between Keenan Allen and Malik Washington here for my final pick. I'm just going to scroll the wide receivers and double check. I mean, Xavier Worthy, Jacoby Lane is a fun rookie for Baltimore with upside.
54:28Andy Holloway:But I'm going to take the chance. I'm going to take the chance that Malik Washington's like a 5-6 reception per week type of guy. Tank Bigsby goes. Malachi Fields goes to B-Cat. I think that's solid. Papa Josh takes Cyrus Allen. Loves himself some fifth-round backups. Andy, back on the clock.
54:49Mike Wright:Malik Willis.
54:51Andy Holloway:As your quarterback won.
54:53Jason Moore:So you completed the stack.
54:55Andy Holloway:The very underrated Chris Bell Malik Willis stack. That's right. Malik Willis is 100 % worth it at this I could have taken Trevor Lawrence Tyler Shuttman Jared Goff, Jordan Love, Brock Purdy I would have taken Trevor Lawrence but I'd get it you're shooting for the moon Jonah Coleman go Dolphins
55:18Mike Wright:I wish I had a Dolphins sound effect thank you that was not a good Dolphins that was a seal that was for the San Diego Seals you want to try again
55:30Jason Moore:I don't I don't I think my voice how about the falcon oh yeah we found what you can do we found the thing you can do good job are you freaking kidding me
55:44Mike Wright:don't talk I didn't know I had that in me that was outstanding leave on a W
55:50Andy Holloway:secret talents
55:52Mike Wright:what a dolphin sound effect guy I feel like that added like two points a game to Malik Willis' numbers this year
55:58Andy Holloway:Jonah Coleman, Jacoby Lane, and then Jaden Reed is the last pick of the draft. Oh, my gosh. My team, I got James Cook, J.K. Dobbins, Bill Krosky, and Krod are my running backs. A.J. Brown, Chris Olave, Luther Burden, Jordan Tyson will be on the IR, and then Malik Washington at wide receiver. Tucker Kraft and Drake May are my onesies.
56:19Jason Moore:I started with Jameer Gibbs, Jalen Warren, and Cam Scadaboo at running back. And then I've got Drake London, Devontae Adams, Brian Thomas Jr., Makai Lemon, and Michael Pittman at wide receiver, with Brock Bowers and Dak Prescott at my onesies.
56:36Mike Wright:JSN, Jefferson, Harrison, Stribling, Concepcion, and Bell, powerful wide receiver core. Swift, Price, Irving holding up my running backs with Juwan Johnson and Malik Willis, future MVP of the league.

58:03Andy Holloway:Matt, post it in here. Don't just say things like that. What happened? I'm working on it. Michael Wilson, three year extension. Hold, well. Now that's not how the show works. Man, you should have stopped on the dolphin.
58:13Mike Wright:That's not what he's saying. That's not how the show works. You do this. Breaking news. Now report that, but like a dolphin. Dolphin boy. Like a dolphin. Hee.
58:27Jason Moore:Oh, he's trying. He's trying hard. Come on, Keith. You can do it. Hee. He can't. Get it out. Come on. We believe in you. It's starting so strong. Get it out. I'm done.
58:36Andy Holloway:What happened? All right. Aw, he gave up. Schmadam Schmefter, beat reporter I will not name. Cardinals reached an agreement Wednesday. So I guess the agreement happened yesterday with Michael Wilson. It will be a three-year extension he's expected to sign today. So we don't have the money yet.
58:56Mike Wright:I love that this morning, the first thing I read on Twitter this morning was, Michael Wilson will bet on himself and not sign an extension with the Cardinals this year. Except he had already agreed to it. Bunch of liars out there.
59:08Jason Moore:Oh, also, hey, this is really important. This is such an important PSA for the Foot Clan. when you see headlines we talk about it click in find out what the article oh my gosh the last couple days yesterday or was it just yesterday maybe the last couple i forget who it was no we won't we won't someone put out no i'm saying the person who wrote the the 32 bold predictions article totally normal thing we had a bold prediction episode they're fun they're they're great uh avenue to explore what could be but that's all it is it's like and a bold prediction is you're trying to say something that is most likely not going to happen it's going to grab attention it's going to grab attention every single yeah outlet out there like this one talk
59:55Andy Holloway:about a bold prediction marv is finally good there's a bold prediction not likely but might
1:00:00Mike Wright:happen but finally but as michael wilson signs his agreement this bold prediction article every
1:00:06Jason Moore:single like blurb news outlet that breaks news all of them grabbed different pieces from this bold news and was like oh this player's gonna you know it's gonna be a 1a for uh Blake Corum for Blake Corum or there were tons of different examples of this and it's like guys this is not news or journalism you're you're getting you're just reading a headline and thinking oh my gosh I am I am so in the know no you are hoodwinked well and it it's like a double thing
1:00:35Mike Wright:because other people write articles about it so it's like two layers deep right yeah it's not just that person promoting the bold predictions it would be like i mean what was one of the bold predictions on our live show i mean like the marv one but i mean if you say something yours were uh
1:00:51Jason Moore:what were your two well i had three don't forget about remandre and week two oh yeah quarter two
1:00:57Mike Wright:oh you did that sir you that was that was one of the worst things but like you know you wouldn't report that as news you wouldn't report remandre is going to be injured during this at this time stamp of a game which is something that week two quarter is so out of bounds for this it is out of bounds but when we oh rap for just a second i thought maybe i was rooting for you and caleb
1:01:20Andy Holloway:johnson rapaport is saying it's 47 million guaranteed for michael wilson michael wilson
1:01:25Mike Wright:is a very very brother he's a very good player i'm not i'm not down and you got to pay the tax it's just the wild cardinal tax he was not good for he was always good he was not used he was not productive but will he be productive and used this year it's a big question yeah get that money brother i mean this is uh this is an alec pierce money you know what i mean right so it's below flowers below pierce but um but it's also 47 47 i mean wide receivers make money good for you man
1:01:59Jason Moore:i mean there is still not as much guaranteed as your rookie running back though i just i the only
1:02:04Mike Wright:good thing i'm going to say about the cardinals this offseason is the fact that they have really really good pieces on offense when you it is easy to look two years into the future with a quarterback draft pick like where else would you want to go yeah you have a la flora at your head coach and then you have you'll have a new gm you have harrison wilson mcbride and jeremiah love who could i mean you you made the comment about jeremiah love in the mock draft about where you could i think you were looking at jason there there is an absolute world where everybody's an idiot on not taking Jeremiah Love in the top eight picks of this draft within three weeks of the season.
1:02:43Mike Wright:I think that's an actual possibility. The Cardinals are going to throw the ball to their running back all the time. We're going to be down by a million points. And this dude just six yards every time he touches the football. If he's healthy, you know, Connor's not healthy. Algier has not been a problem for Bijan being a top five back. And I think Love is maybe a better talent than Bijan is. I mean, you talked about the preseason scouting coming into the league. Jeremiah Love, you know, Mike, you've said it. He came in as a better prospect. Yeah, he's my favorite
1:03:20Andy Holloway:prospect in the recent history.
1:03:22Mike Wright:Yeah, I think it's... Just remember how fast the NFL changes. We highlighted it when we did our mock draft offense show where you go from top 10 offense to bottom offense. um I so I you can be the worst team in football and have a pretty productive offense that felt
1:03:37Jason Moore:Cardinals will do it that felt decently hot takey to me because I I wouldn't have put him above Bijan but I was just I was just curious what the Felix model said and so the Felix model scored the number one all-time was Gibbs then Ezekiel Elliott and then it's Jeremiah Love
1:03:53Mike Wright:that sounds fine to me that's above then Saquon right that's above it went Bijan next and Barkley
1:03:59Jason Moore:McCaffrey as the rounding out the top six.
1:04:02Mike Wright:Yeah. So, I mean, it's just something that these are, every year we have 10 things that about five weeks into the season, we go, oh, duh. Oh, that's odd. I think love is at least in contention for that. So, Mike said it. Big show tomorrow, MVP episode. And then next week, the countdown to football time. It's a time that will be had. Goodbye.
