In short
This episode is a “mayhem mock draft” for fantasy football (12-team, half-PPR, 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1 flex, 4 bench). Hosts Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright run a head-to-head draft with multiple “mayhems” (including a forced reach 20 ADP spots lower, and giving one drafter control to sabotage the other). They also discuss preseason/news takeaways: Woody Marks looking good and potentially impacting David Montgomery’s role; Mike Washington’s preseason usage; Dajon Stribling’s unusually high rookie WR target share; Sam LaPorta’s hip injury making him riskier; and several practice/injury updates (Rashad White, Quinshawn Judkins, Parker Washington, etc.).
Key draft examples
Jason gets Malik Neighbors via a reach; Mike is forced into DK Metcalf (instead of Brock Bowers); later picks include Tyler Warren in round 5 and Bashaw “Tootin” in round 4.
Guests

0:59Andy Holloway:For the second time in my life, I'm guilty of committing a crime, being horrifically ill-prepared for my fantasy football draft. Cause I doubt my league mates minded my team finishing 3-10, earning the ridicule of not just my friends and family, but of every man, woman, and child I've ever encountered. But this season, I find I'm so excited I can barely sit still and hold a thought in my head. I think it's the excitement only a future hashtag Foot Clan champion can feel. 4:42Jason Moore:Yeah, I saw there were like five new mezzanine seats opened up that we must have released.
4:48Mike Wright:Were we hiding those tickets somewhere? I don't know. Did they just find the paper tickets someplace?
4:54Jason Moore:The Mez was also sold out and then a couple popped up. Okay.
4:59Mike Wright:We don't even know why.
5:00Jason Moore:No idea.
5:01Mike Wright:But ballerslive.com.
5:03Jason Moore:This was yesterday.
5:04Mike Wright:Ultimately, this is just so fun to, you know, whether you're going to be there or you're going to watch on Saturday. This is like the launching of the season. This is like a huge event. We've got bold predictions on that show. We've got some special stuff for people in attendance. A lot of free swag we're going to give away. And so we're just super excited to see you there. I think we're up over six, seven thousand so far for the Megalobull. Oh, there's so much mega going on. It's getting more mega by the minute. Oh, mega minute. Well, yeah, that's like from the Megala show to the Megala Bowl.
5:37Mike Wright:Yeah. If you want to compete with us and with 20 ,000 plus fantasy football freaks, is that like complimentary? I think it is. Yeah, that's complimentary.
5:47Andy Holloway:Yeah.
5:48Mike Wright:Yeah. Megalobowl.com. That's what you used to see at the circus. The Megalobowl? No, the freaks.
5:55Andy Holloway:Oh, well, see now. But now it's not complimentary. Yeah, that's no. You're like, hey, I'm a fantasy football freak. That's fine.
6:03Mike Wright:You're like, hey, you're a nerd.
6:04Andy Holloway:That's fine.
6:05Mike Wright:I mean, that was a weird thing because they got paid to be the freak. I do believe you would call it exploited. Work was also hard to come by. I mean, unless they were like, did they have to do it no matter what? Some of them probably. I don't know enough circus lore. And I really wish I hadn't gone down that rabbit hole in particular. Look, I mean, if you trust the greatest showman, everything's super cool. don't even worry about it we cannot start that conversation because nobody hates that more than you um we do have a winner for our bijon robinson giveaway the signed jersey sean jackson will be in touch sending out that autographed jersey that's heading your way i think that's that's where i'll cut it off for the start of the show we got so much to get to i mean i don't want to just talk about every i mean there's just so much going on um we also had preseason by the way but we'll talk about that in the news i guess um our quick question of the day let's jump in here matt writing in do you have time limits per pick when you do a live draft i prefer to take my time and
7:15Jason Moore:enjoy the day says matt what say you we in our league of record do not have time limits um there's live you know we get together and there's always trading happening non-stop and so when people are working trades and doing deals sometimes it gets annoying I mean there's certainly sure moments where it's like okay I'll ready go and I know back in the day I remember when we were doing a dynasty start up draft again no time limit but what we did do is once you hit about two minutes everyone would just start booing whoever was on the clock until they made their pick it kind of worked pretty well but yeah I mean these are to have fun and I think if everybody that's in the league is like cool and trying to do their best and you're there and you're live you're not going to just take forever yeah I mean I think
8:13Mike Wright:we get a small window every year where we get to draft and we love it
8:19Andy Holloway:and we might as well savor it yep sometimes it goes a little long and then then you look public pressure you start applying it that's it
8:30Jason Moore:news and notes from around the league
8:35Mike Wright:all right did you guys have some takeaways real quick uh maybe a thought or two from the two preseason games yesterday i mean i had a couple of things that stood out it's hard to really know
8:46Andy Holloway:but it's like Woody Marks looked all right. Oh, he looked better than all right. Well, number one, he changed up the number. And I was like, what? Who's number four? Woody. Oh. Did it make it seem like you lost weight?
9:03Mike Wright:Of course. To not be double-digit numbers.
9:05Andy Holloway:This is the aesthetics of the number. But he looked good, so maybe that's another red flag for the David Montgomery pick if Woody Marks actually gets on the field more than you're anticipating. It's like Mike Washington had another miraculous run where he was just completely bottled up, but he kept the feet chugging. He's really good at football.
9:31Mike Wright:Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Yeah, I don't. Uh-oh. Here's what I don't think Clint Kubiak can do.
9:39Andy Holloway:I don't think he can keep. Oh, thank you, Brooks. Mike Washington, rookie running back for the Raiders.
9:44Mike Wright:Yeah, I mean, you should know him by now because you've got two weeks worth of highlights. But Clint Kubiak's not going to keep an electric player off the field just because of some stupid loyalty. He doesn't keep an electric player on the field sometimes. So, I mean, to me, it's like Mike Washington's probably not a humongous threat to Jinty. But you should put that guy on the field if he has the potential for those kind of big plays. It's kind of a bit of a thunder lightning aspect to it where I think Mike Washington in select plays can go out there and try to give them a Travion-esque long run.
10:19Mike Wright:It's been impressive in the preseason. Real quick on the Woody Marks point, we want to make David Montgomery a three down back. And some of the logic behind that. We? Well, some of the logic behind it for some is that, well, these guys that have success but aren't high draft capital picks like Woody Marks, they just fade away. Well, they don't like the other side of it is this guy performed well for them when he was on the field last year. The coaching staff is the same. Why would they pull him off the field if they think he can be a good compliment? Not to mention you bring in Montgomery, but Montgomery's been a committee back for the last several years.
10:58Mike Wright:So if you want to argue in the pro Woody Marks side, it's like, well, Montgomery functions very well as a committee back. Let Woody Marks have some snaps. They do have a different skill set. You know, it could be a threat to kind of like the value of David Montgomery.
11:12Jason Moore:Yeah. How did David Montgomery do in that preseason game?
11:16Mike Wright:He was zero for zero.
Read the full transcript
11:17Jason Moore:Yes. That is to me. It's like it's good that that Woody Marks did well. And obviously, in order for it to be a committee and to have anyone encroach on Montgomery, they've got to be playing well. And so a little yellow flag there. But the fact that they didn't play David Montgomery to me says, oh, yeah, that's our dude. He's the clear starter. Go out and, you know. But you have to have people play the game. Yeah, but, I mean, people rest more than one player as well. You know, you've got teams out there where, you know, all the starting wide receivers or whatever are rested, and we see the backup.
11:52Jason Moore:So that's my only counter argument. I would say some things that stuck out to me. Oh, the strip club. Well, I mean, the strip club is open, early, open, late. Dajon Stribling. He's rookie wide receiver for San Francisco. I mean, so far, through two games, he has targeted a whole lot really early.
12:15Mike Wright:It's the highest target share and use of a rookie wide receiver through two preseason games of all time. Yeah. I mean, any of the greats that we've seen didn't get this much work with the ones.
12:30Jason Moore:It's really, really nice to see confirmation of buzz in camp. You know, when you hear and you hear and you hear, oh, this guy's showing out, oh, this guy's been the best in camp. And then you get the chance to see it, and it's like, okay, well, he doesn't show up. It's hard to know, was this just fluff because beat reporters have to write about something? But when you hear that drumbeat, and then all of a sudden the game starts, and it's just like he's highly targeted. He looks great. He's making tough catches.
12:58Mike Wright:You want to know what the problem is, though? Yeah. Before these preseason games, there was like no cover charge to go to the strip club.
13:06Jason Moore:But now the prices are going up. I don't think the price of his ADP is going to be able to rise fast enough, late enough. I mean, in some sharp leagues, you'll have someone that will draft him.
13:18Andy Holloway:You're going to have crazy people. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
13:20Jason Moore:You'll have people that'll grab him, you know, four or five rounds ahead of ADP because that's probably where he should be.
13:26Mike Wright:I think it's going to be a trouble. Especially after next week.
13:31Jason Moore:Yeah, I mean, if he has a –
13:33Mike Wright:No, like next Wednesday.
13:34Andy Holloway:Kyle would like to remind people of, do you remember Marquez Calloway of the New Orleans Saints? Yes. Who was getting buzzed. Uh-huh. Couple big plays in preseason and then bang, this dude's like a seventh round pick.
13:50Jason Moore:That did definitely happen. And then he was not very good. No. Aranda Gadsden. Oh, no. He's dead. He is dead. I thought you were going to play taps. Yeah, he is. He is a backup, man. I mean, he is playing late into preseason. He's the backup. Do the backup.
14:14Mike Wright:He is a backup. Aranda Gadsden went from sexy new thing to old busted real quick. That's crazy. So I would take him off your boards. Yeah. And then off the backup board as well.
14:26Jason Moore:I thought it was interesting for the Chargers. Keaton Mitchell played the full series. Because I've had the opinion that should Hampton go down to injury, that Keaton Mitchell will stay in his Keaton Mitchell role and then Vidal would usurp him on the early downs. Vidal says soon, so silky smooth. Yeah.
14:50Mike Wright:I'm with Mike. I still believe that's how it would go.
14:52Jason Moore:I don't doubt that, but it was just interesting to see it. It's something I'm paying attention to. because I do think that the backup there is important, and I've been pretty out on Mitchell, not from a talent or offensive perspective, but just simply I figure he's going to touch the ball seven or eight times a game, and you're just not going to be a fantasy-relevant player if you're doing that. So if they are willing to use him in more than just a gadgety role, I'm just paying attention to it.
15:21Andy Holloway:And then the Trey Lance run. Oh, man. Nobody else is paying attention to that, Mike, but you are. I bet there's some DFSers out there who are paying attention. It was just like a, oh, yeah, yeah.
15:37Mike Wright:You're saying when he ran against the 49ers, his old team?
15:40Andy Holloway:I'm saying it was just like a, oh, it could have been fun, but he wasn't good enough.
15:44Mike Wright:Sam Laporta dealing with a hip injury. Dan Campbell won't commit to him being available for week one. That sucks. I mean, I don't know. Jason, what does that do to Sam Laporta in the draft?
15:55Jason Moore:Oh, it's horrific. Do you care? Oh, I care very much. I mean, this could be something. They talked about how he got hit. And so this could be simply like he got a sting or a bone bruise or whatever. But there's also this is a common complication off of the surgery he had last year. And so it's like there is a little bit of reason to worry that this is more serious than the, eh, don't worry about it, he took a hit. and I'm not saying it is that, but to me.
16:27Mike Wright:Is he off your draft board if you draft tomorrow? He is. I would just lower him around.
16:31Jason Moore:He's not off my draft board, but I would probably, if I'm taking Laporta, there are those late-round guys that I like taking a shot on. I might just draft two to make sure I've got some on week one.
16:43Mike Wright:I'd probably just wait it out. Yeah, I mean, you could wait. And have him throw on IR. Carnell Tate in uniform for Friday's practice with the Seahawks. In uniform is great.
16:52Andy Holloway:Wait a minute.
16:53Mike Wright:He's missed three practices. Is that good news? Yeah, that's like back at practice.
17:00Andy Holloway:Did we finally get some good news in the news section?
17:03Mike Wright:Oh, has it been pretty bad? Have you been here? I don't know, man. I'm just reporting it. I'm just crunkizing it over here.
17:10Andy Holloway:I'm saying this is great. We finally get something good.
17:14Mike Wright:Okay, let's go backwards. Rashad White's hamstring injury is keeping him off the field. No, this is positive. Not serious or long-term. Positive, negative.
17:21Jason Moore:Yeah, I don't know when you get those reports of it's not too bad. You know, it's like, but he's injured.
17:28Mike Wright:It's like Jason will be available to golf tomorrow. Is that good?
17:32Jason Moore:Yeah, no, it's not. That's bad.
17:35Mike Wright:I mean, I'm happy.
17:37Jason Moore:Yeah, the people behind us won't be there. Okay.
17:41Mike Wright:Quinshawn Judkins didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday. Undisclosed injury, but Todd Monken said not worried. Something nagging, nothing big. and then Parker Washington who missed practice this week expected to return to practice
17:54Andy Holloway:yeah more goodness we like it
17:56Mike Wright:the Parker Washington hype has reached a fever pitch I saw somebody yesterday their bold prediction was he was the wide receiver one on the year
18:05Jason Moore:okay buddy we're getting come on now we're getting pretty wild and out
18:10Andy Holloway:why do we gotta do that we could be excited for Parker Washington too much you could be really excited for Parker Washington You're not allowed to be that excited. That's because Jamar Chase and Puka. We got JSN. We got Jamar. We got Puka. We got Parker Washington. It's just, okay. I mean, that's a spicy meatball.
18:33Mike Wright:No, listen, Al. Al points out that he thought my spice. First of all, it's a bold prediction show. Second of all, Aaron Rodgers was active when I said the Jets would win the Super Bowl. All right?
18:45Jason Moore:The one last thing, we didn't touch on it. I think, at all right now, but enough. Is this about your cool hat? It is a cool hat. That's a pretty cool hat. That's pretty sick. No, on the Laporta news, the way that I'm pushing Laporta back, a little bit more hesitant to draft him due to the injury. Jameson Williams right now, I just feel like, is a screaming value where he's going in draft. I'm pulling the trigger on, I think you're right, on Jameson Williams.
19:15Mike Wright:Did I ever think we'd – oh, I'd have to stop that. Did I ever think we'd get to the point that the three of us would simultaneously be on Team JMO? No, I didn't. What a world. No, I didn't. And here we are.
19:26Jason Moore:And Ken Walker. You're there. I am there.
19:31Mike Wright:The argument for Ken Walker is so easy. If you're not there, you need to go back to bed and try again. That it's just too compelling to ignore. We'll take a break, and then we're going to mock draft.
19:45Mike Wright:What's up, Foot Clan? Man, you are confident and disciplined and focused on details, just like everyone here at the Fancy Footballers, right? Now also available with an ESPN Unlimited plan. And for the first time ever, Super Bowl 61. Marquee matchups, MVP quarterbacks, international games, The whole season start to finish. Football's on ESPN.
21:16Jason Moore:The Fantasy Footballers Mock Draft.
21:22Mike Wright:All right, let me explain what we're doing today. We've done this a couple times, handful of times in the past few years. It is a mayhem mock draft. Jason and Mike are going head-to-head in a 12-team, half PPR, mock draft, one quarterback, two running back, two wide receiver, one tight end, one flex four bench. But the way this works is I will be not only explaining the picks and telling you what's happening in our mock draft as they make these decisions and think through them. She'll be abusing your hosting powers. I've got some power over here. I have the ability at a moment's notice. by the way, Jason in the 7th spot, Mike in the 12th spot, to inflict a little mayhem on the draft.
22:05Mike Wright:Each of you will be the victim of three mayhems over the course of the next, what is it, 12 rounds, 11 rounds. One of the mayhems, it will be my choice. I will get to make the selection for you. You will think you're going to make a choice, and you won't get to. I'll make that selection.
22:23Andy Holloway:Whatever you do, don't mayhem my last round pick, please.
22:27Mike Wright:Yeah, I might not save it till then.
22:29Andy Holloway:Well, good, because, I mean, that would ruin it. It would ruin all of my plans.
22:35Mike Wright:Unconvincing, Mike is. The other, we have a reach for a player mayhem, which is brand new. It's going to force you to draft a player 20 spots lower in ADP. So you're going to have to reach for a player and make the best of it. And then the last mayhem, I'm going to give the power. I'm going to transfer it for myself. into your hands, and you will get to make the pick for your opponent. So you will get to subterfuge, ruin their roster. Yes. And you can decide how generous, kind, or unkind you want to be.
23:13Jason Moore:Yeah.
23:13Mike Wright:Get ready for DK Metcalf, Mike. I don't care where you are. He'll work a trade to be able to give you Metcalf. But we also have a bunch of our writers and the ducers in the draft as well. So all the picks will be made by real people as you guys try to assemble a team in the face of some mayhem. So let's start it off. All right, Gibbs goes number one. Bijan, Chase, Taylor, Pukunakua, and JSN. Jason, you are on the clock.
23:50Jason Moore:For me.
23:51Mike Wright:You will have to pause. before you make the selection and ask permission to lock it in.
23:56Jason Moore:So for me, this is a pretty easy choice. I think at this point, it is a difficult choice between two pretty obvious options. So you could say maybe not. Mayhem. We're there already?
24:11Mike Wright:I was going to... Here, let me explain. Okay. I thought... Listen.
24:16Andy Holloway:I didn't even hear who he was going to pick.
24:18Mike Wright:I hadn't even mentioned who my options were. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter because I was like, I'm going to let you both make your first pick is what I thought.
24:27Jason Moore:Okay.
24:29Mike Wright:So that I can then know what you're trying to do. Then I realized if I use my reach for a player mayhem right off the jump. Oh my gosh. I feel.
24:41Jason Moore:Oh no. I mean, why not do that right now? But my beautiful Almond Ross St. Brown. I mean, you're at the 107. This is nasty.
24:50Mike Wright:What is the opinion of the deucers? I'm getting a lot of I'm getting a lot of nods I didn't want to be that impatient
24:58Jason Moore:That's fine Okay so how far do I have to pick? 20 picks I'm at the 7 so I gotta get the 27 So AP is Rasheed Rice Alright I got it I'm gonna take a guy who would be at this pick
25:15Andy Holloway:He would be at this pick
25:17Jason Moore:I know where you're going If he wasn't coming off of an injury and an ACL, and it's not a great pick. I wouldn't take him here, but I'll take Malik Neighbors and say, hey, turns out he's healthy from week one, and he's going to be a superstar. Malik Neighbors at the 107. I know.
25:33Mike Wright:That is mayhem. Wow. Right off the bat. You have a lot of confidence in Neighbors to take him there. Who needs Christian McCaffrey
25:40Jason Moore:or Amara St. Brown?
25:42Mike Wright:Oh, man. I always look forward to these drafts mostly so that maybe a screenshot of the draft board can hit socials with no context. It will, and people are going to freak out. You took Neighbors in the first? The kids call that engagement for me. It's super smart. Christian McCaffrey goes at the 108 after Jason... I'll quote tweet it by saying, you won't believe who I took
26:06Jason Moore:at seven.
26:08Mike Wright:That's right. CMC and James Cook off the board. Amon Ross St. Brown does go at 110. I don't know why you didn't take him at 107. And then CeeDee Lamb at 111 putting the hitman on the clock. Now, Mike has back-to-back picks. He will be at the turn every single time in this draft. So, Mike, first-round pick.
26:31Andy Holloway:So, wide receiver-wise, you know, my rankings, it's like Nico, Chris Olave, A.J. Brown. So, I'm pretty confident.
26:42Mike Wright:How do you feel about Nico right now with the Jaden Higgins news, with the rumors that Stroud wants$70 million a year. Oh, man.
26:51Jason Moore:When I saw that news that he's looking for$70 million a year, I almost had a spit take and I hadn't drank anything. I mean, it was like, what are you talking about? Because that would be the going – That's not the going rate. That's the best quarterback in the league rate.
27:08Andy Holloway:Which, at this point, that would be the going rate.
27:11Jason Moore:He is not – Oh, I agree. He's just not in the tier. If he was not the best, but he's a top five, top six guy, no one, including him, can possibly think you're in the elite of the elites.
27:25Mike Wright:This ain't Dubai chocolate. This is the Hershey bar. You can't pay the same price.
27:29Andy Holloway:The Texans are in a really bad spot. So are the Panthers. Because, okay, let's say Stroud hits free agency. He does make that money.
27:39Mike Wright:He makes that money.
27:40Andy Holloway:No way. Yes, he does. Yes, he does. Yeah, I think we got to remember. Yes, he does.
27:45Mike Wright:You got to remember the big picture with Stroud. Like, I mean, Herbert had a horrific playoffs. I mean, Stroud had a horrific – so did Herbert. Like, Stroud's had about two years in a row. Sort of. I mean, it's been up and down. There have been games. I don't think he's worth the money. I don't think he's worth that money. I'm just saying he will get it.
28:01Andy Holloway:But you're just – with franchise quarterbacks. This is Tampa with Baker, too. You're hamstrung. Like, you – I think he would – but anyways. So –
28:08Mike Wright:Wow, Mahomes is 63 a year. He won 70. Stroud, slow your roll, man. Just to even watch it. He's negotiating. That's the starting point? Yeah. Okay.
28:16Andy Holloway:So this is, you know, ADP-wise, it actually, I'm at the turn, so if there's guys I want, I have to take them. So the truth is, at this first pick, even with everybody who's on the board, I would be selecting Ken Bone Walker. I knew you were going to say it.
28:37Mike Wright:Go for it. Excellent.
28:39Andy Holloway:Ken Walker locked in for Mike. So ADP-wise, it's early, but I prefer him over Barkley, Gentie, A-chan, Hampton. So it just kind of is what it is at this point.
28:52Jason Moore:I could see this happening when push comes to shove towards real drafts, people making that same decision, that they see that there's a lot more security there than there is on some of these other, you know, like the A-chan and Gentie picks where you know you're on a bad team. Right. you know you're on a good team here and he's going to get all the work.
29:14Andy Holloway:And then I would, if the pick is mine, I will be following that up with, I like the, at the turn here, I want to try and get the two elite running backs. So I would be drafting.
29:28Mike Wright:Yeah, who would you be drafting? Dang it. Who would you be drafting? Chase Brown. So, Mike, you would think I would want to mayhem you here. No, I have no idea what you want to do. But, in fact, I am.
29:40Andy Holloway:Mayhem. I feel like you said one thing and you did a different thing.
29:44Mike Wright:Yeah, I mean, that's all I can do here. I'm not even drafting. This is my entire experience. I'm going to give Jason the power here. I'm going to let Jason select your pick. This is really early for Metcalf.
29:56Jason Moore:My goodness.
29:58Mike Wright:And so we'll decide what Jason has to do. Metcalf? No, I'm not going Metcalf here.
30:04Jason Moore:That's the joke. No, I think it's an easy pick to give you here. It's slightly above ADP, but I've been saying I have no problem taking this player. Slightly above ADP? Okay. Cool.
30:16Mike Wright:That sounds like lowercase mayhem.
30:19Jason Moore:Yeah, well, look, it's my choice. I'm going to be kind.
30:21Mike Wright:It is your choice, best friend of mine. Now I feel like I've got to be rude. No, you're good.
30:25Jason Moore:I was going to give him Brock Bowers here. Oh, my gosh. Force him into seeing what it's like to have no wide receiver going into the third round. I think Brock Bowers deserves to go here.
30:37Mike Wright:Oh, that's a great reason to make him the pick. Yeah.
30:40Jason Moore:So I will give you DK Metcalf. Final answer. Oh. So.
30:47Mike Wright:Idiot.
30:48Andy Holloway:Eat dirt. Oh. Is this really what we're doing? Oh, man. I can't even find him. Hold on. Scroll down.
30:57Jason Moore:There's a search bar. You just type DK Metcalf.
31:01Andy Holloway:You really tricked me, Jay. Honestly, I was going to get Brock Bowers. 76 and a half you're making me take this guy and blame andy i was gonna give you brock fine he thought it was a lowercase mayhem yeah i'll be honest i thought i was gonna i was maybe gonna
31:15Mike Wright:use my choice here and give him jacobs because i know he's like out on jacobs and that would be
31:19Andy Holloway:there were plenty of guys that i would have been like dude that sucks this is and it still makes
31:25Mike Wright:sense for a draft looking at your team with ken walker and dk metcalf is as the first two picks is really a delight because i think you know one guy you love more than life itself and the other guy is dk metcalf all right whatever well listen get ready to draft a kicker in a league you can't even use them just just remember you have an opponent's choice left to use you'll get i know i know and i guess we're going we're going low we we uh we'll just see how you recover uh chase brown saquon barkley ashton jenty and devon achan off the board jason with malik neighbors in the
32:06Jason Moore:first round you are up next so sitting here is a a crazy value on justin jefferson um you know when you're at that like nine spot in the first round you start going man this is where you should
32:19Mike Wright:be taking justin jefferson i just realized he wasn't drafted yeah but it's why oh because Metcalf went in the second.
32:26Jason Moore:You took him over Jefferson? Anyways, Justin Jefferson. Honestly, it might be. That might be the right pick. Well, I'm not taking Justin Jefferson here either. If it is my choice, I would actually be going. So I'm between two players here. Omari and Hampton.
32:42Andy Holloway:Walker and Chase Brown would have been so awesome.
32:44Jason Moore:I absolutely love Omari and Hampton. Pairing him with Malik Neighbors, I'd be happy with that. And then if I go wide receiver, I'm actually taking A.J. Brown, who I think is, you know, you've got the sandwich of A.J. Brown and Justin Jefferson and Drake London. Those three kind of always go real near each other. And I just look at, like, do you want a good quarterback or a bad quarterback? Do you want a good offense or a bad offense? And they're all three great players. So here I'm going to take A.J. Brown if the choice is mine and start wide receiver, wide receiver.
33:19Mike Wright:Yeah, that's always smart to do in a mayhem when you might not get to draft a running back for a while. A.J. Brown and Malik Neighbors, back-to-back. I made a mistake. At the 207, Brock Bowers, Justin Jefferson. And by the way, the Mayhem mock draft, among many things, it's entertaining. But it's also a lesson in, you know, we've all been there in the draft and there's a panic pick or a mistake or you don't realize something that you're doing.
33:45Jason Moore:Or a guy gets injured in preseason and you lose an entire, you know, So DK Metcalf, your second round pick, whoever you grabbed, you don't get them this year.
33:53Mike Wright:So this is a training exercise. This is an opportunity for these guys to try to rebuild the rosters from the mayhem because it happens in your draft. Hampton goes at 207. Bowers, I thought you might take him, Jay. Jefferson, Henry, London, and Josh Jacobs goes at the 212. Colson Loveland starting off the third round.
34:12Jason Moore:Above Trey McBride. I don't mind it at all, actually. Oh, I mind it a lot. I don't.
34:19Mike Wright:I'm actually more on the side now where I realize Colson Loveland, there's a vulnerability to drafting him there. He is far from a guarantee. As much as I love him and think he'll do well, he's far from a guarantee.
34:32Jason Moore:He has to do so much, and he can't. I'm not saying he can't, but he has to do so much to get to what Trey McBride has already. I just don't see a world. Trey McBride broke the record for receptions.
34:43Andy Holloway:He didn't, and he had, what, three or four games worth of extra routes. That won't happen again.
34:49Mike Wright:I mean, but did you see the year before? He was really good, too. Oh, yeah, he will be really good.
34:53Andy Holloway:But I'm saying, like, I think Loveland and McBride are going to be very close at the end of the year.
35:01Mike Wright:Loveland, Allen, Jeremiah Love goes in the third, Nico Collins, Kyron Williams, and Trey McBride. Jason, you are back on the clock.
35:11Jason Moore:Lots of good players here in the middle of the third round. George Pickens, another great wide receiver. if I wanted to go start my draft with three wide receivers, which that can work if this is a full PPR, three wide receiver league. This is not. So I probably want to look at the running back position. You've got guys I like like Cam Scadaboo that I'm afraid of, very afraid of right now with the new coaching staff and bringing in Najee. Players I don't like at ADP like Travis H.A.N. Jr. Talked about him yesterday. I would be between Brees Hall and Javante Williams. I think both players are exciting for opposite reasons.
35:50Jason Moore:Do you want the great offense or do you want the electric player? I'm going to take the great offense. If it's my pick, I would take Javante Williams here at running back.
35:59Mike Wright:Yeah, go for it. All right. Javante Williams off the board at 307. Neighbors, A.J. Brown, Javante. That brings what I think is a deal on Chris Olave or close to it.
36:09Andy Holloway:A major deal, yeah.
36:11Mike Wright:And then Javante Smith and George Pickens, three straight wide receivers here. Oh, man. In the third round. And Ibuka goes off the board. Is that who you were targeting, Mike?
36:19Andy Holloway:I just flipped over to look at my rankings, and I was like, holy crap, George in the third? Yeah, but you almost. Almost.
36:28Mike Wright:Almost got there. Even with Metcalf kicking him back a spot, it wasn't enough.
36:33Jason Moore:Pittman's still out there. Steeler's super stack?
36:37Mike Wright:Mike, you are on the clock here. You got the back-to-back picks. Where do you want to go with your third round selection here at 312?
36:42Andy Holloway:So the top of the ADP for running backs, you got Brees Hall, Scadaboo. So those guys are still there, I guess, because it was a full wide receiver run. Wide receiver, Rasheed Rice. Still sitting there. Oh, man. Let me ask the question. At a point, at the back of the third or even the top of the fourth, Rasheed Rice feels like a very strong pick. So then it's Ted Arroa, McMillan, T. Higgins, Ladd McConkie, Zay Flowers. So I guess with this first pick, man, let me just double check. I'll give you a thought process here. If I'm picking, I would take Rice.
37:29Mike Wright:Go ahead and grab him. All right. Rice is a real, he may be the most facts versus feelings situation going on in fantasy football. Correct. Correct. Where, like, Cyrus Allen's getting all the, like, publicity for being the. Oh, Rice is getting publicity.
37:44Andy Holloway:For being slow and looking bad.
37:47Mike Wright:Yeah, so it's just like.
37:48Andy Holloway:Getting strapped in practice.
37:51Mike Wright:Yeah, it's just not great. Walker, Metcalf, Rashi, Rice, Mike, to start your draft. Yeah, and going, and, like, I have Walker.
38:00Andy Holloway:So, I mean, I'm loaded on the Chiefs now with two of my first three picks. But. I won't waste your time. Okay. I won't waste your time. But I was going to say, that stack with that value, assuming I didn't have DK Metcalf with my second round pick, I'd feel perfectly fine with it.
38:17Mike Wright:Well, in this case, I'm going to let you reach. Reach for a pick? Reach for a pick at the 401. You're just in a tough spot. It's like if I don't mayhem you now, I've got to wait until a long time. Yeah. So you need to pick somebody ADP 57 or later. 57 or?
38:34Jason Moore:This is pick 37. Later. Darn it.
38:37Mike Wright:Oh, my goodness. Yeah, you have some choices, Mike.
38:40Jason Moore:Yeah, you've got some good choices there.
38:42Andy Holloway:Yeah. So Luther Byrne narrowly does not make the cut. But Bashaw Tootin is there? So Jamison Williams, Adams, Mike Evans are kind of the – No Tootin. Well, I'm saying those are the wide receivers. Oh, I got you. No, Bashaw Tootin is 100 % going to be the pick. Yeah, Bashaw Tootin is the pick.
39:01Mike Wright:Okay. Yeah, the Bashaw Tootin sentiment this offseason has been mostly positive with a little bit of curiosity around the committee situation. I think Tootin himself will be a great player when he's on the field. It is just a matter of does he get the high-value touches? Does he catch enough passes? He has high upside.
39:22Andy Holloway:I don't know if we mentioned it, that LaQuint Allen got hurt. Oh, yeah. No, I didn't realize that. Who, like LeQuint Allen, you know, in what has been reported, he's been taking third down, which we've talked about. Third down's not everything, but I would rather have my running back on the field for three downs for three opportunities. Is he missing the rest of the training camp or something like that? Let's double check that. I remembered off the top of my head that he got hurt. But also, the reports on Tootin just remain very strong about the talent of the player. you know, big and very fast.
40:02Andy Holloway:So I'm just, I'm, I'm still in on Tootin accepting the risk that he does come with. He's not a surefire bet by any means, but he, if he hits, it's going to be incredible.
40:14Mike Wright:All right. So Mike, you have two chiefs, Walker and rice, and then Metcalf and Tootin through four rounds. Jason, you have neighbors, AJ Brown, Javante Williams. After the Tootin pick, it was Waddle, HN Jr. McConkie. I like that. And then Garrett Wilson. goodness gracious yeah McConkie and Wilson how are McConkie and Wilson going at 404 405 well the
40:33Jason Moore:running backs were really taken uh those first couple of rounds I but since all these wide receivers just went on my turn I was between Javante Williams and Brees Hall obviously here having one running back two wide receivers if the pick was mine I would select Brees Hall
40:52Andy Holloway:what do you think Mike hey I'm not what do you think I'm just an innocent bystander
40:58Mike Wright:yeah you know what i just realized
41:04Mike Wright:mayhem i just feel like what what you did to mike was so disrespectful mike's not an innocent bystander anymore i mean the metcalf situation look i'll give the pick to mike i'll let mike make the choice okay i will i will weigh in you will weigh in i will weigh in you it's your choice I'm just saying if there's one player I know from our previous week's discussion, and I'd call it a discussion at the end of the show, I just think Ramondre looks like a value here.
41:32Andy Holloway:Ramondre is an excellent value. I mean, there's a lot of value running backs. But it's your pick. You find your narrative. You were going to take Brees Hall, Jay?
41:42Jason Moore:I was, yeah. Take him. Okay.
41:48Andy Holloway:I'll just go ahead. Take him.
41:49Jason Moore:All right. I took him. I took Brees Hall. I'm so confused Why are you confused? Because I feel like I was just cursed somehow I feel like something just happened where I feel like you just injured Brees Hall with your mind
42:05Mike Wright:What just happened?
42:08Jason Moore:What just happened Mike? He took the high road I guess He's playing mind games
42:13Andy Holloway:He's playing mind games I'm on tilt You wanted Brees Hall I let you have Brees Hall I don't know what's happening
42:20Jason Moore:I am confused as well
42:23Mike Wright:he's winning
42:24Jason Moore:he's winning by giving me what I want I don't like it
42:27Mike Wright:Breece Hall is off the board sort of to me on the outside looking in feels like maybe a wasted opportunity
42:35Jason Moore:I think what it was is he was saying we're not playing these crazy shenanigans I'm going to rise above that
42:43Mike Wright:you want him to sit in the guilt of Metcalf no he wanted Breece Hall
42:50Jason Moore:alright Right. Well, we continue. Hey, nice, nice mayhem, Mike. Probably a good time for an ad break. It's a good pick. Thank you.
42:57Mike Wright:Probably a good time for a break.
43:02Mike Wright:All right, Foot Clan, whether you are on the go or at home, T-Mobile, well, they're built to keep you connected wherever you're scouting your fantasy team. And that on-the-go part, that is important. With America's Best Network, you'll be connected to the latest news and player projections. So when you're on the clock, you can draft a winning team. I can think of so many situations where that element of being connected while you're on the go is fundamental to fantasy football success. I'm in the midst of multiple leagues right now where I am responding to trade offers. We are massaging the trade offer.
43:33Mike Wright:We want to make sure that I'm the one that gets the player, not another player manager in our league. So trade offers when you're on the go, all the news that's breaking so you don't make a mistake. And my favorite thing, maybe I'll mention it. Look, you're sitting and you have a quiet moment somewhere out and about. you want to jump in the UDK. We got the player profiles. You can watch all of those in there with T-Mobile. You can jump in on the player projections and our stat projections and all the 130 ,000 words of content. Again, T-Mobile making that easy to do. Every bit of news, things are changing all the time.

45:37Mike Wright:breese hall went to jason before the break which i mean really threw you for a loop because you sure did because you wanted breese hall yeah zay flowers quinshawn judkins cam scoutaboo tet mcmillan t higgins and jameson williams round out the fourth carnell tate at the 501 Travion at 502 DJ Moore 503 Montgomery at 504 and uh we've got Bucky at 505 there's some names that are just dropping in this draft yes uh yeah I mean interesting they're they're I don't
46:13Jason Moore:know if you'll let me have this pick this is the most absurd pick I can remember in any of our mocks Tyler Warren being in the fifth round is incredible um I've got two running backs two wide receivers there's no chance I would ever pass up on Tyler Warren in the fifth so if I'm allowed to take it
46:33Mike Wright:that would be my pick all right um Jason you hmm yeah go ahead oh all right fantastic things are working out for me I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to be doing with that anyways Luther Burden goes next. Ramondre Stevenson still on the board, but did not go. Burden, Swift, McLaurin, Mike Evans. And Mike, you are back on the clock. There are two mayhems left, one for each of you.
47:03Jason Moore:And both are your user's choice.
47:07Andy Holloway:All right, so let me take a look at what's going on here. ADP, you know, quarterbacks are just the two. So, I mean, I could have Joe Burrow, who I think I'm very interested in on his upside this year.
47:30Andy Holloway:Sitting here at the turn, running back-wise, it's not inspiring. And wide receiver-wise, there's some guys who I really like. And, yeah, at this point, this is where I would be taking Christian Watson.
47:45Mike Wright:Yeah, I mean, I would have let you. Oh, he's mad at you for a... You pulled some weird stuff with that whole let him take the player and waste the mayhem thing, so you get Woody Marks.
47:58Jason Moore:Okay. My team's going to be good in the end. Yours is... We're taking you to the shed. To the cleaners.
48:06Mike Wright:Putting you down. So, you liked what you saw last night. Woody Marks is the pick, Mike. I'm out of mayhems. You get to make your 6-0-1. Okay, Christian Watson. Christian Watson is the pick. Yeah, that's the fun thing about being at the turn. I'm not going to use them back-to-back, and you're out of them. So Christian Watson, you still get him. Jadarian Price at 6.02. Jalen Warren at the 6.03. Parker Washington back in action at the 6.04. And Drake May at 6.05.
48:34Jason Moore:I would have been very tempted to grab Drake May there. I don't like taking two onesies in the first six rounds, but with A.J. Brown and having Drake May fall past his ADP, it would have been tempting so I'm actually kind of happy that Drake May was selected so you're not tempted because I am not tempted instead I'm going to take a player that I feel like I end up with in almost every mock draft because I still believe I still believe that Roma Dunze is a very good player and I think in that range that's a I am alone on planet earth I guess I guess
49:07Mike Wright:you're lucky that I let you have that pick oh I forgot you still had one yeah that's okay that's okay um premature selection holy quarterback run a dunze to jason and jacori krisky merit then three quarterbacks in a row daniels hertz burrow davante adams and then uh julia takes romandre oh he's gone darn dajon stripling z there you go yeah that's gonna happen it is it is it's gonna happen all right it is uh we're into the seventh round of the draft Right now, Jason with neighbors, A.J. Brown, Roma, Dunze, with Javante and Brees Hall as his running backs. Tyler Warren as his tight end. Mike's got Ken Walker, Basel Tootin, and Woody Marks at running backs.
49:54Mike Wright:D.K. Metcalf, Rushy Rice, and Watson at wide receiver. I'm still trying to figure out what his master plan was. But Pitts, Kraft, Harrison, Tyson, and Dobbins off the board in the seventh round, putting Jason on the clock.
50:10Jason Moore:so I've got only two running backs right now um I would have I would have easily taken J.K. Dobbins
50:16Mike Wright:had he gotten to me he did not yeah just be careful when you yes I will not select without
50:22Jason Moore:asking uh you first here we're in a situation where the running backs that are on the board and I need a running back Jonathan Brooks or Chuba Hubbard whichever one you prefer there if you want to take a shot at Rico Dowdle being the starter there's Tony Pollard who is a starter I really like Jordan Mason, but he's usually able to be had much later. I just don't think the value is there. This is what I was talking about recently of like these rounds running backs. They're just they're pushed way higher than they should be. There are still good shots at wide receiver. I would prefer taking like take the shot that Parker Washington isn't better than Jamar Chase.
51:02Jason Moore:And it's actually Brian Thomas Jr. or Makai Lemon. I know he's going to you know, he's dealing with injury, get off to a slow start. similar with Alec Pierce. I just like the upside of some of those guys. So if I were to get the pick, I would take Alec Pierce.
51:23Jason Moore:He didn't want Alec Pierce, man.
51:25Mike Wright:You fell right into that. I mean, it didn't matter what he said there. I feel like this is the point. Give him Alec Pierce. This is the point in the draft.
51:33Jason Moore:Don't you freaking dare do that. I can't do that again.
51:37Mike Wright:that's such a good idea yeah why not Mike didn't even get the like he didn't even make the pick last time so I'm gonna let him make it this time that's a great deal actually it actually worked that's what I was hoping you'd do you just want all the Colts you're Alec Pierce over BTJ you're Alec Pierce over Josh Downs which is important
52:02Jason Moore:no I'm really not I wouldn't have wanted Alec Pierce there i was trying to get you to um i probably would have given you josh downs about three rounds
52:11Mike Wright:ahead of schedule that probably would have been my pick but mike's idea was better yeah uh he's kind of redeemed himself so mike i'm not going to use any more mayhems on you that was oh that's nice that's a really good job you did alec pierce off the board at 707 btj michael wilson jonathan brooks rico dowdle and mike you get to you got five picks to kind of piece things back together
52:31Andy Holloway:there will be no piecing together it's the optimistic way of putting it Rico would have been a I thought you would have thought about that I would have, that would have been an instant move him to the top of the list but going with DK Metcalf and Rico Dowdle I'm not sure I would build my team that way building a team with two completely broken picks is that's not the easiest thing in the world.
53:01Jason Moore:Metcalf could be okay.
53:03Andy Holloway:I guess you will have to take a tight end and a quarterback.
53:07Mike Wright:What are you talking about? I mean, this is about where Metcalf probably went last year, right?
53:11Andy Holloway:Yeah. And he's not going to be okay. It's not good.
53:15Mike Wright:You ever heard not wrong just early? I mean, something like that? Is that there? I saw the DK Metcalf new press pictures, right? The new head shot?
53:22Andy Holloway:Oh, he's going with the death stare with the really big eyes? Is that what that is? That wasn't a death stare. Somebody put a thumb somewhere.
53:32Mike Wright:That's just what it looked like.
53:35Andy Holloway:I understand. Adam Gase, yeah, I remember that. I understand. All right. Tight end-wise. I'm picking up what you're putting down. Tight end-wise. Oh, man. Is there anybody you love at tight end right now? George is there. I wondered.
53:51Andy Holloway:I don't even know what to do with this build here. of it's just disgusting um it's not realistic that you run into a metcalf situation in the no well maybe but not with not comboing that with woody marks i'm going to take jordan mason just so i know that i have at least one more running back and then i mean this team has to hit on a onesie
54:15Mike Wright:position so we're just going to take george that's a good point if you have something go a little sideways from your skill position players yeah getting an advantage at tight end makes sense Laporta goes next. Dak in the eighth here. Jason's almost back on the clock, but Harold Fannin does go. And R.J. Harvey, who, look, the sentiment might not be great for R.J. Harvey, but we need to be realistic with the fact he's going to be utilized. He's on an offense that we like Sean Payton's potential. And Harvey late is fine.
54:46Andy Holloway:Yeah, I'm on the – It's fine. I just have little faith that it's going to actually work out.
54:52Mike Wright:He seems like if we had to do a quick question of players that have an RB1 week out of nowhere. Oh, yeah. Number one overall in week one, it's like R.J. Harvey's at the top of that list.
55:04Andy Holloway:But on like eight touches?
55:06Mike Wright:Yeah, it's like two receiving touchdowns and a long play. And all of a sudden, everyone's talking about R.J. Harvey in week one.
55:13Jason Moore:Yeah, so I'm here on the clock. I've still only got two running backs. I'm in the eighth round. I need to look at that position. You've only got two? Yeah, yeah.
55:22Mike Wright:At least you got your guy in Brees Hall.
55:24Jason Moore:Yeah, I mean, Javante and Brees aren't a bad one-two punch, but I have very little depth. And so who I want to take here is Blake Corum. I think he is a league-winning upside type of pick. I know I've been Mr. Kyron Williams. I still am. I think Kyron's a great pick. He's going to be fine for fantasy. That does not mean that Blake Corum is a bad pick. He's a good player. If he does get the opportunity, I'm wrong, then he's a flex with benefits. But should something happen injury-wise to Kyron, Corum will be a league winner. But I feel like as my running back three, I have to have someone more guaranteed for touches.
56:01Jason Moore:So I'm wondering about Kenny Gainwell. But after all that talk, I'm going to pull the trigger on Corum.
56:09Mike Wright:All right. Corum, Godwin, Sutton, Lemon. Three wideouts in a row as we circle back around to the ninth.
56:18Andy Holloway:I thought about Godwin, but then my team, as I'm just scraping the frying pan. You went for the one team.
56:24Mike Wright:Yeah, your team, I don't know. It's not good. I don't really know what you're thinking, to be honest, through most of this draft, Mike. I don't feel like this is what your team normally looked like.
56:31Andy Holloway:No, there was two picks in particular.
56:34Mike Wright:That you just kind of, your brain went.
56:36Andy Holloway:Not so much here. Not so much here, but right there.
56:41Jason Moore:Here, I just. It's about the second and fourth round.
56:45Mike Wright:Tony Pollard, Jugo Hubbard, Caleb Williams, Quentin Johnston, and Concepcion off the board. As we circle back around, we're heading towards the end of the draft. Jacoby Myers and Cyrus Allen going in the ninth. Nice to see that next to Keenan Allen. Jason, you're back on the clock. A few picks left here.
57:03Jason Moore:The last time that I was between two running backs, I got both, and I'm going to do it again. I'm going to grab Gainwell to go with Corum. So now with Javante Williams, Brees Hall, Blake Corum, and Kenny Gainwell, I feel fine. I feel fine with my running backs.
57:17Mike Wright:There was a part of this draft I almost gave you Justin Herbert, Jason, as your quarterback. That was a thought there with the Pierce pick. I don't feel like Herbert has been drafted by any of us in any draft at all. You know, it's funny.
57:28Jason Moore:I am a Herbert apologist. I love him. I love the offense. I find that I'm putting my chips more on Hampton and the running game and the defense versus Herbert. but he's a good quarterback that is, I think, going to be playing for a good offense.
57:48Mike Wright:Well, I mean, they're close to one of the highest AFC title-favored teams right now. So if things go right, if that season does come together, I mean, I know a lot of Mike, his thoughts this year is about Cincinnati doing special things because it comes together, you stay healthy. It feels like a similar narrative for Los Angeles. Tyler Algier and Trevor Lawrence. Mike, you got three picks left. One's got to be a quarterback. Kittle was your last pick. So I'm going to take, I guess it's not for sure volume,
58:19Andy Holloway:but it feels like it of a player of this caliber who over 1 ,000 yards off of a torn ACL goes to what should be a strong offensive situation. I'm going to go with Stephon Diggs. And then I am, so I got two picks left. I do need a quarterback. I'm scanning through the draft. It appears that you can stack your Chiefs. I could. So Jason's the only team without a quarterback, and I know how Jason feels about Jackson Dart, and I'm sure you would have taken him, so I'm going to take him.
58:55Jason Moore:I have neighbors. I was praying for the neighbor's dart stack.
58:59Andy Holloway:Like I said, to recover anything from this team, I need an upside player. Andy, you made the bear case for Jackson Dart. I don't. You could take 10th round Jackson Dart? I don't disagree that there is a bear case, but there is a true bull case to be made for him, so I'm going to take him there.
59:18Mike Wright:Well, those are two good picks, actually. Not that a Stefan Diggs and Metcalf combo counts as a second rounder, but it's better than nothing. Chris Rodriguez, Kalen Black, Aaron Jones, a non-guy off the board. Jason has a quarterback that he needs to take either here in the 10th or in the 11th, and he's back on the clock after the Gainwell quorum selections.
59:37Jason Moore:Do we remember? Do you remember? Do we remember a time, Kyle, maybe look this up, where a non-injured NFL draft first-round wide receiver was undrafted in every single ADP just completely undrafted. I wouldn't even consider thinking about drafting Omar Cooper Jr. Like, ever. For good reason. But it's a first-round pick? Well, I mean, you might be tempted with Gino. I will take a first-round wide receiver from the previous year. I'll draft Matthew Golden here. Yeah, that's the right spot.
1:00:17Mike Wright:Yep. And then a guy I'm just in love with right now, Isaiah Likely at 10.07. Travis Hunter at 10.08, getting drafted, even though no defensive players in this draft. But Papa Josh did take him. Do you know something we don't, Papa Josh? No. No, he's a talented wide receiver. Well, I did see some stuff about him and Brian Thomas Jr. like going back and forth on the reps, and that was like, is that bad for BTJ or good for Travis Hunter? Kincaid, Mitchell, that would be Keith Mitchell. I'll tell you who it's good for.
1:00:54Jason Moore:Wide receiver number one overall, Parker Washington.
1:00:58Mike Wright:Michael Pittman, Tank Bigsby, Pat Bryant, Dylan Sampson, Malik Washington, or rather Mike Washington, that was not Malik. Dontavian Wicks, sneaky great pick by the Eagles fan there. And then Jonah Coleman and Marshawn Lloyd. Jason, your final pick is a quarterback.
1:01:13Jason Moore:It is a quarterback. I just brought him up as a value. It's insane that he's basically undrafted in single quarterback leagues. The quarterback six last year, the quarterback seven is rookie. Your ads, Jalen Waddell. I'll take Bo Nix.
1:01:24Mike Wright:Bo Nix. First round wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. is with the second team offense, confirming what we've seen in camp, that Isaiah Williams has leapfrogged him as the wide receiver three.
1:01:33Andy Holloway:That was about a week ago.
1:01:36Mike Wright:Yeah. Scotter, Boston, Strange, Malik, Washington this time. Or no, it isn't. Oh, yes, it is. Yeah, it is.
1:01:45Andy Holloway:And Tank, Bigsby, Malik, Washington were kind of at the top of my queue. So I'll just go the other direction of let's paint the picture. Funny, we were just talking about this wide receiver at lunch, guys, of like he's good. He's a good player, but things haven't worked out for Jordan Addison. And maybe, maybe Kyler Murray.
1:02:13Mike Wright:He's a really good player. Yeah. He's a really good player.
1:02:16Andy Holloway:So we're going to take talent. We're going to take situation and hope that the quarterback works.
1:02:20Mike Wright:All right, your last task is to read back your roster. I will not be doing that. The requirement is that you're not allowed to mention any of the mayhem. You've got to make the case for your full roster. You've got to do it right now, Jason.
1:02:34Jason Moore:Sure. I took a healthy Malik neighbors in round one to go with A.J. Brown, Roma Dunze, Alec Pierce, and Matthew Golden. My running backs, Javante Williams, Brees Hall, Blake Corum, and Kenny Gainwell. I've got my onesies of Bo Nix and Tyler Warren. I'm pretty happy with my team.
1:02:58Mike Wright:Yeah, because you wanted Brees. Mike? You wanted Brees, and then you got Brees.
1:03:00Jason Moore:Yeah, and I wanted Alec Pierce.
1:03:04Mike Wright:Mike, what were your What's your We got Ken
1:03:10Andy Holloway:We got Ken Bonewalker at the top With the second round pick, I of course took DK Metcalf Look, it's one last ride with Aaron Rodgers Right Last time we saw Mike McCarthy in charge of an offense We saw some pretty good stuff Oh yeah From CeeDee Lamb One last time Rasheed Rice Bashaw Tootin Woody Marks, look I'm pretty much OUT on David Montgomery and Woody Marks looks good in preseason so why not? Why not? Why not get the young explosive arbitrage pick that will certainly usurp David Montgomery in his new contract Yes Christian Watson I love that pick in the 6th round A.
1:03:52Mike Wright:And by the way if you didn't take Marks in the 5th Watson wouldn't have been such a deal in the 6th That is a good point You made it even better for me
1:04:00Andy Holloway:Now you can feel better about the Watson thing. I went up to the register and I just marked it down a couple cents. It's like, oh, I'm getting a deal. Jordan Mason, George Kittle, which, hey, all signs point to him having a real shot playing in week one, which that's good enough for me to be a difference maker for you're talking for the season. Stephon Diggs gets some volume. Jackson Dart, maybe a top five potential quarterback. and then Jordan Addison because everyone needs a player that they can drop after week one to go pick up the new waiver wire hotness.
1:04:33Mike Wright:Or another tight end maybe for your team. Yeah, or that. Well, Kittle would just go into my IR. That's true. If you go Tonjes McBasketball week one or something like that.
1:04:41Andy Holloway:Or Jewwanson. Jewwanson himself.
1:04:44Mike Wright:There you go. I would say did that fit the mayhem bill? Yeah, for one of us.
1:04:54Mike Wright:You were about to give him Brock Bowers. I was. You talked me out of it. That would have been the ultimate mayhem on me is just you guys just give each other great picks and ruin the draft in the show. But we got a lot going on. We got some more preseason football tonight and through the weekend. So I'm sure there will be simultaneously more excitement for certain players and more injuries for certain players. So we're going to recap all of that stuff on Monday. We're also doing the UDK for Life giveaway on Monday. I am correct about that. that is the date that is correct yeah that's coming so it's worth saying like right now anybody that has the udk before monday's live stream which will be i think at four pacific maybe three pacific it's four pacific it's three pacific it is three pacific six easter yeah um we will be giving at the end of that live stream we'll give away a udk for life if you've bought the udk anytime between february when we pre-ordered or let pre-orders happen all the way through now you'll be able to pick that up and be entered to win and uh there you go big shows next week my guys are coming next week and by the way the mock draft tool is now available
