1:01Jason Moore:Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.

1:19Mike Wright:Welcome in.

1:32Mike Wright:The Fantasy Footballers Monday, September 21st. Welcome into the show, Jason Moore, Mike Wright, Andy Holloway. Wow. Another weekend. Yeah. Didn't quite escape the injuries like we did in the first week. No.

1:50Jason Moore:We should have seen it coming after week one. It always gets you. Yeah, it'll return to the mean. And it was very mean. It was very mean.

2:01Mike Wright:So much to talk about today. We got Monday Punday. We got NFL news, studs and duds on the show. I'm sure we'll have potentially some injury updates even throughout the episode. But happy to have you with us. The community over there at jointhefoot.com, the ultimate dashboard helping you weave your way through each and every week, the start-sit decisions, all the premium in-season tools. I mean, it was an adventure. I mean, we were here on Sunday morning watching the rain, watching the fiery heat, 157 degrees on the field in Tennessee.

2:39Andy Holloway:I think it was like just last week, Jason. Andy's like, I like at least four games to be ruined by weather. Per year, not per week.

2:47Jason Moore:Well, quota filled.

2:49Andy Holloway:Yeah.

2:50Jason Moore:quota filled in week two that was last week last week we were big big dome i'm speaking on behalf of big dome you yes please we were very kind in saying that what the buffalo bills have done with their stadium we might accept but this was a real big week for big yes it was i mean there's a lot of rain around the country and there was a lot of poor football you you guys you guys talk a lot

3:15Mike Wright:about oh rain doesn't affect anything and then you spent the whole morning complaining about the rain Well, there was rain and wind.

3:21Jason Moore:No, there wasn't a lot of Chicago.

3:23Mike Wright:There was two of the games, yeah. Chicago was super windy. Okay, so is the wind that when the ball hit them in the hands, that's the wind that caused them to drop it? Wait, are you arguing for Big Dome right now? I'm so confused. No, I'm just saying you say a lot about rain being no big deal.

3:38Andy Holloway:Okay, Big Dome is officially changing. Rain is a problem. Okay. So you're accepting? I'm accepting your argument on behalf of Big Dome. Put a roof on it.

3:51Mike Wright:Welcome to the team, Andy. Maybe I'm just a little bitter because every one of the players that I recommended this offseason decided to get hurt within five seconds of the season starting. It was a real problem for you.

4:03Jason Moore:Your nickname, if you're new to the show, you got – Once upon a time. Once upon a time. I thought we were past this. As the Fantasy Reaper because you had a knack for getting guys injured. Yeah, if I didn't get them injured – You got them injured.

4:17Andy Holloway:If you like someone, that means that the Grim Reaper is slowly trailing them, and he's going to get them. Yeah, so let's just recap here.

4:27Jason Moore:Your fantasy MVP, left to right here, Alec Pierce. Yeah, off with crutches yesterday. That's cool. Your three my guys were Dajon Stribling. Out. Lad McConkie. Barely surviving. Injured barely in, and currently injured playing.

4:44Mike Wright:And Caleb Williams got injured out. It's possible that Caleb had the most severe one-week injury of all time.

4:51Andy Holloway:Yeah, we're not really sure yet. But it looked like maybe career-in. It sure is.

4:56Mike Wright:On the field.

4:56Jason Moore:Tell me one thing. Who do you like right now? I'm not mentioning any of my players on my team. Well, like who? I like Zay Flowers. He's just going to mention all Mike's guys. I like Dolan Kincaid.

5:14Jason Moore:Kenneth Walker. Do you like Ken Walker, Andy?

5:16Andy Holloway:No comment. I overpower him with Kenneth Walker, Jason. We're good. Okay. Yeah, I mean, we had –

5:22Mike Wright:That's a powerful statement. No, look, I guess. I'm sorry. Also, apparently if your number is in the mid-teens, you're also in jeopardy. I'm looking at the board here. 14, 15, 15, 18. Maybe, like, I'll pick on my guy in a different – Yeah.

5:36Jason Moore:Obviously, it's all tongue-in-cheek. It sucks that, you know – It's just terrible. Terrible timing. By week two, all four of your guys went down to injury. But, you know, Ladd will be back. Ladd looks great. Caleb Williams seems like he's going to be back sooner rather than later. TBD.

5:55Mike Wright:So, yeah. And then last week on Friday, there was some drama around the studio. And by drama, I mean our producer screaming his head off for eight to ten hours. Also, Foot Clan, I know Jeremy and I can look a little bit alike.

6:11Jason Moore:But I got accused of some things in that video of which I am not in.

6:16Mike Wright:A lot of people were like, I knew Jason was the one who drops all the first words. Yeah, he's the potty mouth.

6:22Jason Moore:I'm not in this video. I saw comments, oh, just like Jason to be in the fridge in the background. That wasn't you either. Oh, man. That was our developer. They were really trying. That's true. He looks just like us. Oh, no, is that Schneider? Yeah, Schneider, me and you. I mean, me and Schneider, our team name in the League of Records is Dead Ringers. Yeah. Because you look like each other.

6:40Mike Wright:And then, yeah, so we, you know, I'm just going to bring something up here. And I'm not saying that I am against it because I find it as a form of respect. But basically what happened on Friday for the three of you that didn't see the screaming video that went out all over social media, I made a very fine trade, normal trade in our league record. In fact, I don't think it's a good trade for me from a value perspective. It's a good trade for me because my team had one weakness, tight end, and I traded Kyle Pitts and two picks, a second and fourth round pick. in our in our keeper context is needed for the next but it is the best pick that you can trade

7:20Andy Holloway:a second you cannot trade a first but it's a three keeper league so it's effectively a fifth

7:25Mike Wright:so i trade again it is but we've we've seen these trades with the twos and the threes and the fours for years this is not a weird trade for tucker craft but the problem was is that just the day before and you can see he's still he is still there is heat coming off the top of his head he is not over it at all my tongue he is not over it you might not bite it for long i know but what happened was is the day before apparently there had been these internal conversations that nobody's going to trade with andy and give him a tight end and and papa josh said stay strong hashtag down with andy which by the way collusion of which i don't care because it would have been collusion if we made an agreement to both not trade with you he was trying to influence me.

8:11Mike Wright:There's a hashtag. I don't know what a hashtag is.

8:13Jason Moore:I never said that there was no agreement like we're not going to trade with anyone.

8:17Mike Wright:Look, I'm not actually protesting because in my opinion, the qualifier... The whole league knew what was going on. The qualifier of bad collusion is that an individual team benefits through collusion. This was more like I don't benefit from all of you making me public enemy number one. Yeah, let's be clear.

8:32Jason Moore:The entire league is openly colluding against you because you are a super team and we want you to lose. Feed me. Not Josh. Oh, yeah. Josh is trying to help him win. So, yeah, the real issue here was that Josh and his co-manager basically in DMs told Jeremy, Stay strong. Do not trade him your tight end. We will not trade him the tight end. We will not trade him his backup for Kenneth Walker. And then the next day, they go and do it.

9:01Andy Holloway:Yeah, he was at the front of the line screaming. I mean, he's like Braveheart. He's like, hold. Yeah. Hold. And then he runs away. And then he homers into the bushes as all the soldiers. You guys stay here.

9:13Mike Wright:Calvary's on the way. So that's the context because there were people out there that were like, what is wrong with this trade? Nothing. If this trade was between two other managers in the league, nobody bats an eye or even cares. Probably praises Josh for the value it got. It was the fact that there had been this, like, Al has, he has Trey McBride and Kittle. So I obviously am trying to go for his extra tight end, and he's just slamming the reject button over and over and over. And then the next day, and it didn't help that Tucker Craft's on his hometown team and he loves him, but that's what happened.

Read the full transcript

9:45Mike Wright:So that's the context for it. It wasn't that bad of a trade. They just want me to lose real bad. You want to know why?

9:52Jason Moore:Because, again, in our league, a really good score is 130, 135. You should win. You scored 175 last week. You are currently at 179 with a player left and with Tucker Craft doing nothing. So, yeah, your team is stupid.

10:07Mike Wright:All right, we once again put out the call for the Monday Punday. It was, I mean, I went through them this morning, 99.999 % negative hatred.

10:18Jason Moore:It was a terrible week.

10:19Mike Wright:Because injuries, disappointments.

10:22Jason Moore:Rain, bad football, not a lot of touchdowns. We were going into halftime of the early slate, and it was like, who scored? There was Derek Henry. Yeah, Travion Henderson. It was like nobody.

10:34Mike Wright:Yeah, and then again, a bunch of the negative ones were about injuries, which I avoided. But it was a bad day for a lot of people. The nice thing is maybe your opponent also had a bad day. So let's jump into it. Let's get sophisticated. And we'll start with some good, like, Boss Allen. I got him.

10:53Jason Moore:Yeah, and you had CeeDee Lyon making an appearance this week.

10:58Andy Holloway:How about the Boston TD party? I like that one. Yeah, that's a good one. James Cookin as well.

11:04Jason Moore:We also had some big Dak energy this week.

11:08Mike Wright:Chris Osuave. Yes, he was awesome. And the American Najigba Warrior.

11:14Andy Holloway:That's right. And my dude, Travion Winderson. Yes. Amon Ra Saint Crown. And then Devante Swish. He was awesome this week. They weren't all good. No.

11:26Jason Moore:Drake Mayday.

11:27Andy Holloway:Yeah, we got to have some conversations here. I'll take this one. Colston Hateland. Yeah. And this week, despite 21 carries, it was Ashton empty.

11:38Mike Wright:And you had Mazda Marv.

11:40Andy Holloway:Hey, I like a good Mazda. Mazda Marv. What, you got to do that to Mazda? Yes. Oh, Tucker, crap. And Dallas got hurt. Oh, he did. Travis ain't Jan Jr. That's good.

11:54Jason Moore:Fuck.

11:56Andy Holloway:Oh, man. You want to give it to Jason? Justin Turd squirt? Justin Turd Squirt

12:04Jason Moore:We're not above it You hate a bad Turd Squirt Terror Lawrence Loser Burden III

12:13Mike Wright:Bad McConkie And why not finish it out with Alec Tears

12:19Andy Holloway:Justin Turd Squirt I thought you'd appreciate that one

12:23Mike Wright:Alec Tears Hashtag Monday Ponday every Sunday night Share it on Instagram and on X What? Yeah. Yeah. Look, the Chargers, what did I say last week? If they lose this game, back-to-back at home Cardinal Raiders, they might not win again for the next seven weeks.

12:45Jason Moore:They, looking at their schedule, I think there is a real chance.

12:50Andy Holloway:Buffalo, Seattle, Denver, Kansas City, Rams, Houston, Baltimore. Five of those seven on the road.

12:54Jason Moore:They go 0-7. This team starts 0-7. They look broken. No, that would be 0-9 if they lose all those games. I mean, that is insane that Mike McDaniel, oh man. Maybe it was his OC who's now in Minnesota.

13:13Mike Wright:If you want to be in the massive panic category, Chargers are number one on that board. But you have other teams that are joining. The Falcons look as abysmal as you can look. Tampa Bay, they've continued.

13:28Andy Holloway:their complete I'd be more real pile at the end of the year as Tampa than Atlanta who's Atlanta has not had a qualified quarterback yet no I agree no first carry of the game by Cooper Rush

13:39Jason Moore:fumbles the ball I mean just also have great teams that have stuff to worry about I think the Lions have looked you know they almost lost week one you could argue they should have lost week one shaky they've lost some people on defense and uh if you look at the record you know pre and post Ben Johnson leaving that team it's you know that you lose a great mind it's gonna

14:02Mike Wright:hurt you you see all the blobfish second and 10 runs this past week he loves it we do live in a highly criticized world here let's talk some news news and notes from around the league

14:19Mike Wright:Pukunukua was uh this was talked about over the weekend questionable for tonight's game added to the injury report hip injury and groin soreness i don't know which one's which uh mcveigh said groin didn't practice saturday trending in the wrong direction according to madam schmifter thank you game time decision but don't worry guys in one of my leagues i look i just didn't want to mess around with puka didn't have an option to pick up on monday one of your good bench i played i played marvin harrison who might be the worst player in the history of the national football

14:50Jason Moore:He will score the same as Puka if Puka sits.

14:53Mike Wright:How many? Like, the funny thing about Marv is that after every week of every game, always, they asked the coaching staff about why Marv wasn't involved that day. And then the coaching staff comes up with some new line. You know, we didn't pass for crap today. I wouldn't look much into it.

15:12Jason Moore:The coverage was rolling over his direction.

15:15Mike Wright:Yeah, they played against me before. They knew what to do to shut him down.

15:17Jason Moore:He's just so good.

15:18Andy Holloway:Guys, he's just so good. they scheme him out.

15:21Jason Moore:Oh, do you remember? If you weren't watching this game, if you're on Red Zone or whatever, you might not have seen the brilliant moment on the broadcast. We should have taken a picture of this. The broadcast team, I haven't seen it on Twitter, puts up this graphic comparing JSN and Marvin Harrison on the screen just like, hey, let's take a look at the two Ohio State guys and how they're competing. And it was like, oh, no.

15:52Andy Holloway:At the moment, it was 7 for 139 and 2 for JSN. Who put up a third later. And 0 for 0 for Marv.

16:00Jason Moore:The fact that they put that graphic up just don't want to.

16:02Mike Wright:Look, I will apologize for that one. Yeah. Because I like the idea that Marv with – the fall process was LaFleur would get him going. And all the reports in the offseason were very positive. But, look, I'll eat that one. That one's not an injury. I can't control the injuries. I can control whether I ever mention Marvin Harrison as a start again. I think the junior.

16:22Andy Holloway:Yes. Respect to the old man. The hard part for Marv is we're in our small sample size. We're in our two games. It seems like the Chargers might just be very bad. You had the Cardinals upset with the double-digit spread. And then you're like, oh, well, maybe the Cardinals are okay. But then they have to play the Seattle Seahawks defense, which is elite. And so moving forward when they're playing bad teams, I guess Marv will still be bad. Yes. Yeah, yeah. That was the summary of it. I mean, it's just.

16:57Jason Moore:Targets are earned. We've said that. So, like, targets are a stat that is important because you have to earn the target. You have to get open. You have to be in the right spot. Quarterback has to trust you. You have to have your head around. watching him just watching him every play he he has no there's no world where you can throw him

17:16Mike Wright:the ball mike you your son is in high school yes football right now is there any coaching strategy to when the play is not drawn up for you in particular just take the play off at wide receiver is that what they teach oh just take the oh no oh no they don't does that clue the defense in on maybe where the ball is going to go if somebody just barely runs lollygags yeah lollygags down the field. I'm so ashamed of him. We got the graphic on the screen.

17:43Jason Moore:And they just bodied him right on the broadcast.

17:49Andy Holloway:I love

17:50Jason Moore:a good dunk, but why are we doing that?

17:53Mike Wright:He's our DK Micah. I wish. DK Micah was so much better. But a player who has all the physical gifts and abilities, but something in the motor or energy or you know something is missing there i don't know what it is we've had enough years they they showed marvin harrison's first two games each of the last three years it's a decline like marv's not improving he's declining the cardinals had to go pay michael wilson trey mcbride gets all the targets kindred born is more involved than a weekly basis i'm sorry i could talk about it yeah yeah i'm honestly just disappointed 6.5 percent targets per route run ew all right so puka tonight look if you have puka and you and you're riding dirty into this evening malachi fields terrence ferguson tutu atwell these are your game day game time pivots those are the options so you could take a shot hopefully you did the smart thing like we say every week put them in your flex position before the week begins so you have the ability to go put in a whatever if blake corn was sitting out there or singletary or some emergency player but I'm going to blitz the injuries here guys if you have a thought jump in real quick DJ Moore day to day expected to practice AC joint sprain Caleb Williams carted off hamstring injury Bears optimistic that they've avoided serious injury MRI today

19:14Jason Moore:they're not even ruling him out for this week yet but he'll probably miss a couple

19:21Mike Wright:Saquon Barkley missed most of the game on Sunday if you watched it was a lot more Will Shipley than it was Tank Bigsby from a snap count perspective, but it was not Saquon. MRI for a stinger to evaluate his neck. Jadarian Price left with an injury, chest injury. Optimism that he avoided significant injury. It wasn't a great day for either of the Notre Dame running backs that came into the league that played each other.

19:49Andy Holloway:It was a great day for Emmanuel Wilson.

19:50Mike Wright:It was. J.K. Dobbins exited with an injury. No, no. Hamstring.

19:55Jason Moore:He said it's just a little. he said he was going to play 17 and this one counts yes it does so if he gets back you for week three he can still be a man of his work but i will say that it gave opportunity for jonah

20:07Andy Holloway:coleman who looked great uh jonah's probably the number one pick up stole uh you know the broncos

20:12Mike Wright:won the game he got a touchdown yeah i think i think we got waiver show tomorrow we'll work through all the rankings i think jonah coleman's near the top but i think josh downs is too with the Alec Pierce injury and the fact that Keenan looks absolutely donezo. Josh Downs got a huge target share. Pierce is going to be out for a while. He left with an ankle foot injury. X-rays were negative. But he left on crutches.

20:40Andy Holloway:It's his surgically repaired ankle.

20:42Mike Wright:It's a nightmare. He just got paid. This one sucks too. There's been a bunch of them. Jonathan Brooks re-aggravated his groin injury. went to the medical tent was getting consoled by chuba hubbard i mean it stinks for a guy with the injury history that he has yikes jayden daniels yeah left with the dislocated left elbow

21:04Andy Holloway:it looked like it's the same exact thing i don't know how he doesn't have a brace on i just don't

21:08Mike Wright:yeah from what i understand they said this on the broadcast he doesn't have a ligament in that elbow anymore so i don't it can just flop around well i mean or whatever whatever happened with the injury and the surgery or whatever that happened i don't know it's like sometimes people live without an acl like papa josh back there i don't know maybe maybe i didn't get the surgery

21:28Jason Moore:and i i don't know then where'd it go i don't know it just exploded maybe i misheard okay

21:33Mike Wright:if he didn't have surgery i don't think the ligament disappeared but that's what somebody said and clearly this thing can flop out of place anytime he puts his left hand on the ground How are you not in a brace? I don't know. It's a non-throwing elbow, and we don't know how long the prognosis will be.

21:49Andy Holloway:It's a bummer.

21:49Jason Moore:He was playing very well. We'll get more news soon, but I would expect he's going to miss a month at least. Yeah, it seems like it.

21:57Mike Wright:J.K. Dobbins, we talked about Rico. Turf or a toe injury. Sorry, it could be turf toe. Returned in the second half. Jaden Reed. This was scary. Left on a stretcher. Neck injury. Compression impact to the top of the head. did have feeling in his in his extremities very scary one probably going to miss time in concussion protocol I would guess at least a couple of weeks but don't know yet so Demarcus Robinson high ankle sprain he's out for a while for the 49ers they're gonna have to sign somebody because Mike Evans exited with the hip injury as well again doesn't appear to be serious just like everything they've said about every injury he's had all offseason so far I will say that they

22:37Jason Moore:were trouncing them by the time he left so i i can't imagine like if if he had a non-serious injury he would probably not come back and he didn't so it there is a chance that this actually

22:50Mike Wright:is not serious and by the way he uh he does have this would be jayden daniel's left arm he does have a ligament they're just all completely torn and unrepaired so that's what i that's what it was because they he had the basically the tommy john injury in the left elbow but they chose not to do surgery it's not his throwing arm but uh structurally seems like a problem if those things are meant to be you know yeah not doctors seems like he should have had the surgery perhaps uh caleb douglas walking boot it's offense rookie uh there's an offense that doesn't look good and a schedule that looks even worse.

23:29Jason Moore:Yeah, they're going to be really up there for the number one pick.

23:33Mike Wright:I mean, I believe they play, oh, yeah, Kansas City this week and then Minnesota and then Cincinnati before the bye.

23:41Jason Moore:If you haven't been paying attention, Cincinnati's defense looks fantastic. My Bengals. We're looking good. The Bengals defense really does look like they're a regular NFL defense that can shut someone down, which we haven't seen that in a minute.

23:57Mike Wright:So Jaden's prognosis is can rehab for a few weeks and return with a brace for the rest of the year, or you can have surgery in the offseason, or you can have surgery now and the season's over. Oh, man. So I'm sorry, Commander fans. It's not going well. Nope. Dallas Goddard, right knee injury, right after he was performing well. I'll say, like, if Saquon misses time and Goddard misses time, they were real close to losing that game to the Titans. They should have. They looked so bad. I mean, the Eagles looked... Only Devontae Smith looked good in that game, to me.

24:33Jason Moore:Where's Lemon?

24:36Mike Wright:I mean, Makai Lemon is... I actually think Makai Lemon, from what I understand, I think he ran more routes than Dontavian Wicks. It's just all the targets...

24:44Jason Moore:I got a snake, man!

24:45Mike Wright:All the targets went to Dontavian Wicks. That is correct. David Njoku and Charlie Kohler, to add... injury to insult. Gadsden's back. Both left early against the Raiders. Kolar was with an arm sling after the game. Najoku was carted off. So, yeah, Aranda Gadsden, who scored, right? I mean, back into the conversation. And, my goodness, there you go for the news. We'll take a break. We'll turn it positive and talk about the studs before we hit the duds.

27:08All right.

27:10Mike Wright:Man, what a week. Let's get into it.

27:14Jason Moore:This week's Fantasy Stud Muffins.

27:19Mike Wright:Like I said, waivers show tomorrow. And if you want custom waivers for your league, that's in the ultimate dashboard at jointhefoot.com if you want to get in there. Top five scores of the week. The top two were on Thursday. Josh Allen and Jared Goff, one and two. Dak, Mahomes, and Purdy finishing it out. Purdy was one intentional grounding throw, I think, from the first 100 perfect QBR in the history of the NFL. That's how efficient his game was. I think he was 15 for 16 and absolutely just carved him up. It seemed nonchalant.

27:56Andy Holloway:Look out. Next week for Brock Purdy. Steers on the Cardinals.

28:02Jason Moore:Oh, man. Purdy's really good. And he got to play the Dolphins, whose defense is as good as their offense. Yeah.

28:13Mike Wright:Well, look, Purdy was the start of the week. Dak was the start of the week. Nice to see those guys in the top five. You know who looked like maybe behind Purdy, maybe the second-best quarterback of the week? Dude, yes. Or on the Sunday, at least. Bryce Young looked good. Yes.

28:25Andy Holloway:He was sizzling.

28:26Mike Wright:Bryce. That's Bryce. And he looked like he was having a good time.

28:30Andy Holloway:This is unbelievable.

28:31Jason Moore:This would be so good for fantasy if we can have, you know, a young quarterback that was supposed to be great be good. I mean, two weeks in, you can't ask for more than he did. I know that both matchups were easy-ish. You know, he hasn't faced a gauntlet schedule yet. The first two weeks you'd hope that he could do what he did, but he did. So that's great for Coker, for Tett McMillan, and, of course, the walrus. Yeah. Do we even have that? We do somewhere.

29:03Andy Holloway:Thank you. But their pass rate over expectations, like their neutral pass rate, it's very high right now. The Panthers and Bryce Young. I didn't think it could be done, but this is incredible. Uncredible. Uncrustable. This is incrustable.

29:23Mike Wright:Tyler Shuck got it done, 252.

29:26Andy Holloway:Man.

29:27Mike Wright:Had a rushing touchdown and a passing touchdown. leads the NFL in passing yardage with Bryce Young just behind.

29:33Jason Moore:Yeah, he does. Gets the Raiders and the Falcons for the next two weeks, which is great. And then maybe, maybe, maybe you get Jordan Tyson back. But Vele has looked good. Jawan Johnson has looked good. Olave is a machine. So this is a very exciting offense. And, you know, he rushed the ball nine times. So for fantasy football, and they won on the road. So this is a team that was like a play, one play, from being 2-0 on the road against the Lions, on the road against the Ravens.

30:07Andy Holloway:With one of the worst halves of football I've ever seen a quarterback play.

30:10Mike Wright:Right now the game goes on, and Chuck has gotten better over the back half of these games. They were down 17-6 at one point. Baltimore, I thought, like the Saints are lucky they caught Baltimore with the diminished weaponry, but they also played well.

30:25Jason Moore:They did the thing that I don't understand it, but it happened so much over the last 10 years where all of a sudden the team that has Derrick Henry loses a game that they were winning because they stopped giving him the ball. It was like he was dominating them. And then they gave him like five carries in the second half. And so lo and behold, it was worse. Yeah.

30:48Mike Wright:And a shout out for a competent performance by Cam Ward this week. Kirk Cousins was great. He was on the fantasy face-off on Friday. And then Drew Locke also, where credit is due,

31:01Andy Holloway:really just executed the offense to perfection. It was. It was five carries for Derek Henry in the second half. That's not okay. What are you doing?

31:08Mike Wright:He was so good in the first. I mean, I guess that game got tied up pretty quick, but still, it was too much on Lamar's shoulders. Well, the top five running back scorers of the week were familiar names. It was all the big boys. Jonathan Taylor, Kenneth Walker with no touchdowns. CMC with two of them. James Cook with one, and then Jameer Gibbs with one. Big boys doing the work. I mean, Kenneth Walker right now, Mike, you want to wax poetic for a second? I mean, it's just been majestic.

31:35Andy Holloway:He is exactly who I thought he was. We have a tweet from NextGenStats. Kenneth Walker III forced 15 missed tackles in Week 2, exceeding his career high of 14 that he set in Week 1. Walker has forced 14 or more missed tackles three times since 2024. The entire rest of the NFL has done so twice.

31:58Mike Wright:You might want to start playing people against the Colts. The Colts have given up, I believe, the most yards through two games to start a season ever. It's not good.

32:07Andy Holloway:But also, I mean, they played Henry and Walker, so it's...

32:11Jason Moore:Yeah, tough matchups, but the utilization of Walker is incredible. Ten targets. Ten targets. It reminds me very much of what we saw last year from Christian McCaffrey, where when you can be the second highest scorer on a week and not get a touchdown. Yeah. How?

32:28Mike Wright:Oh, and he had three chances on the goal line. How do you have?

32:31Jason Moore:How do you have bad games? It feels impossible. It's injury or he's awesome.

32:35Mike Wright:Yeah. Let me ask you this question right now, because he got into the end zone. Rashi Rice did. But the targets, the utilization, it's been different. And by the way, Travis Kelsey looks slimmer and faster than he looked last year. would you trade rashi rice away on the high of the touchdown this week

32:50Andy Holloway:we would have traded him away on the high last week yeah yeah probably he uh did he get a touchdown

32:57Jason Moore:this week i i think his touchdown was week one this week he was four for 83 um oh yeah yeah

33:03Andy Holloway:more yards i've oh my bad i don't think you have to force him away but six targets this week too

33:10Jason Moore:but i'm willing to i'm willing to move on he also had didn't he have like a complete garbage play wasn't it like right before the half or something where he got there was there was some play yes oh yeah Hail Mary where he got like complete throw away like 30 yards for free for nothing yeah it

33:28Mike Wright:was like instead of the Hail Mary they just threw it underneath and let him run for 30 40 yards let's talk about Amari and Hampton 23 carries 94 yards a rushing touchdown a fumble fumble another fumble and this fumble cost him the game he leads all running backs in yards after contact uh we watched this game we watched them all but we watched this game closely and like when he gets moving downhill he breaks through people here's the wild thing about hampton one of the differentiators between him and and a-chan to me was hey you you want running backs on a good team i'm not sure that that's what he is going to be yeah that was part of the next seven weeks is a gauntlet so i liked what i saw but i don't like the fact that this team can't move the football he looked

34:12Jason Moore:really really good he had a fantastic fantasy output yeah um they used him in the screen game and i mean you can't ask for him to do much more other than not fumble but it will it's funny to

34:25Mike Wright:think like maybe he's on a bad team yeah it's it's um i think the actual player the metrics look good but the team looks bad derrick henry you're not getting targets for hampton

34:38Andy Holloway:No, that's been – and, you know, that's a problem. McDaniel coming over, I think the biggest surprise for me is the lack of running back targets. Like, was that –

34:49Jason Moore:It's funny because the two targets he got, I think, were both – like, they were designed plays. I remember one of them was a really nice play, totally designed for him. It's the checkdowns that aren't coming. Like, that's where I would expect, especially with what we've seen the first couple weeks from Justin Herbert, who has been a check down machine. When he had Austin Eckler, it was like, oh, let me check this ball down. Things are getting hairy. Let me check this ball down.

35:14Mike Wright:He's not doing that, and he needs to be doing that. Well, and here's something to think about because I was just looking into this. Part of the thought was, hey, A-Chan got a bunch of work in the passing game because Tua loves to check it down, and Malik doesn't, and it was Mike McDaniel. And then, well, Mike McDaniel is going to come over here and throw the ball a bunch to Omarion Hampton. right now HN's on pace for more targets this year than last year with Mike McDaniel and Tunga by Loa he's on pace for 93 targets last year at 85 targets sometimes it might be it's the player that overwhelms the situation more than the scheme because you know I was expecting more passing game work from Hampton as well yeah we all were and Keaton Mitchell has been involved so uh yeah I mean I don't think Hampton is somebody you panic on right now no I think he's going to be a solid running back but when you don't win football games it's unlikely he'll be a top five type of contender you're talking probably on fringe running back one range right now is how i'd look at him yeah that's like would you trade i mean i would certainly rather have genti than hampton right i would rather have genti than and i don't feel like we felt that way in the draft period so wide receivers big names as well jsn cd lamb amon raw jamar chase and davante smith i didn't think i'm on rockett get passed and he got passed by two players this week jsn with three touchdowns and cd lamb with two touchdowns and looked i mean cd lamb has looked great yeah i didn't get any puns in there for george pickens but they weren't good yeah it's been a it's been a slow start yeah other uh performances by maybe smaller you know expected players safon diggs trey tucker cody white yeah yeah cody white who is a raiders wide receiver two touchdowns on two targets which is wild he was elevated from the practice squad

37:03Andy Holloway:but you know digs has scored twice do you think the atlanta falcons wish they had someone like kurt cousins yeah of course they do man of course they do just like all the teams that ever had like

37:16Mike Wright:jacoby brissette and are throwing out cooper rushes of the world i mean it's it's rough um denzel boston through two weeks wide receiver 18 wide receiver 11 playing every snap scoring both weeks yardage went up to 95 yards

37:31Jason Moore:didn't sell boston man so week one it was kind of a late game garbagey 50 yard bomb touchdown but he still he caught a 50 yard touchdown it was great this week he broke tackles oh man i fell back his touchdown was awesome his touchdown was awesome he's he's really looked like a man out there yes um he's going to be an important pickup it's tough to rely on you know the browns passing game, but you bet on talent for rookies, and he's shown it so far.

38:02Mike Wright:The shot of a gun.

38:03Andy Holloway:Yeah. I mean, he got it done. The Watson steals a win. He didn't have a bad game. How? He didn't have a bad game. How on earth does Tampa Bay not win that game? I mean, that's. You have a bajillion hour delay. There's two minutes left, and all you got to do is score a touchdown.

38:21Mike Wright:I haven't seen a quarterback look worse on deep balls this year than Baker. yeah I mean that that was John Watson by the way through go ahead Jay I was just gonna say when

38:30Jason Moore:they came back it was pouring rain he was you know the the weather really affected that game

38:36Mike Wright:that's what they throw deep on every play then when they came back that's what Baker said after

38:40Jason Moore:after in the press conference he was basically saying you know we're connecting on that the the balls were really slick and I probably shouldn't he said afterwards he probably shouldn't have been throwing it deep and should have been checking it down yes but hindsight's 2020 didn't do it in the

38:54Mike Wright:game the show for 30 with 80 completion 238 and two no turnovers the opposite of whatever hindsight

39:01Andy Holloway:is what do we call this foresight sure foresight of just watching it in real time going what are we doing you just you have you have half a field to go and you have two minutes to do it third

39:12Mike Wright:third and 15 you're going deep so that you can have to go deep again on fourth and 15 ridiculous man all right that team is the uh number one contender for mid-season firing by far sure because they almost did it in the offseason. They fired everybody else and let Todd Bowles stay around, and they looked terrible. Hey, Jalen Waddell, there you are. Eight for 138, Jalen Waddell. This was the game. We got at least one bounce back.

39:33Jason Moore:This was the game we said was the perfect test, like the perfect type of defense where it's average. It's not a bad gimme team. It's a team that can score. Does Jalen Waddell command the targets? And he did. Double-digit targets, eight receptions, 138 yards. that week one in Kansas City Kansas City just shut down the Broncos I'm throwing that in the garbage and I think Jalen Waddle is going to be very very good the rest of the season

40:03Mike Wright:I think Deshaun Watson was the fourth highest passer rating of the week I don't think it's going to be Shadour at home next week no it won't tight ends is that where we're moving to Travis Kelsey number one and he looked great he just did and they don't I don't think the Colts know how to play defense I really don't because there were multiple like breakdowns where Travis Kelsey is just left wide open nobody covers him Kenneth

40:33Andy Holloway:Walker is a it's a problem for everybody else's defense like Travis Kelsey will remain very startable because everyone you have to be terrified of Kenneth Walker yeah and that's what they wanted when they went out and got him.

40:50Mike Wright:Dalton Schultz. Oh, the doctor said. Mike's start of the week. 12 for 140. It wasn't Noel. It wasn't Hutchinson. It wasn't Booty. It wasn't John Wayne. Whatever. I don't know what his first name is. That's not nice. I would love to know it. I just don't. Dalton Kincaid, 19 points. Jake Ferguson got in the action. He took the spot of picking. Jared.

41:16Andy Holloway:Jared Wayne. Jared Wayne. It's not that far from John Wayne. If you're wondering where George Pickens' production went, it went to Ferguson this week.

41:23Mike Wright:And then Darren DeWallaris, you know, three for 33-2. That's kind of what he did last year in Miami. It was touchdown central for him. Did you see what I tweeted this morning about the numbers for Tyler Warren are ridiculous. Oh, yeah. He is, Jason, through two weeks, he has nine catches for 34 yards. Gross.

41:46Andy Holloway:Yeah. Colston Loven's like, I could never get that.

41:48Mike Wright:No, I mean.

41:49Andy Holloway:But he's had a touchdown in both weeks.

41:51Mike Wright:He's had a touchdown in both, but 13 yards and 21 yards on three and six catches.

41:55Jason Moore:It's wild, dude. I will say that the target share, it hasn't been abysmal. Five targets week one, seven targets this week. I expected far more.

42:06Mike Wright:Well, maybe with Pierce out, maybe you'll get it.

42:08Jason Moore:Yeah, I mean, you know, this is a player I think who should be, you know, really getting 10 targets a game, but he's got to prove it.

42:17Mike Wright:Happy or sad here? I'm going to blitz them real quick. Top 12 tight ends by ADP. Happy or sad? Brock Bowers. Sad. Trey McBride. Super happy. Colson Loveland. Super sad. Tyler Warren.

42:29Jason Moore:I think you're happy.

42:31Andy Holloway:Tucker Kraft. I guess because of the touchdowns. You'll be all right. You knew what you were signing up for. You're neutral.

42:36Mike Wright:Sam Laporta. Meh. Meh. Harold Fannin. Sad, sad. Kyle Pitts. Super sad. Still hopeful, though. And then three in a row late round tight ends. You ready? George Kittle. Dalton Kincaid, Travis Kelson. Yeah. And then Dallas Goddard, now injured. Yeah, he's hurt. All right, we'll take a break. We'll talk duds.

42:59Jason Moore:Fantasy football has a lot of waiting. Waiting for a waiver to clear, waiting for your quarterbacks and your tight ends, waiting for that rookie breakout. You shouldn't have to also wait on your Uncrustables to thaw. You've got tons of ways to thaw them. You put them on your dash. You put them in your pocket. You sit on it if you've got to sit on it. I ain't golfing without my Uncrustables. Throw one on my golf cart in Arizona. He's ready to go. Here's some good news. Now, Uncrustables are ready to eat straight from your fridge, which means you can satisfy your PB &J snack craving whenever you want to.

43:32Jason Moore:No wait time. You can get to that pillowy, soft snack faster and go back to getting beaten by your friends every Sunday.

44:55Jason Moore:Pooped in his big boy pants.

45:00Mike Wright:Where do you think Justin Turdscore came from? We have a segment that's literally called Pooped in your big boy pants. We're not above it. I will say this, man. nobody helped justin herbert this week 15 for 27 192 and one through two picks i mean there are there are interceptions that are your fault and there are interceptions that are not your fault uh he had one of the not your faults in this one where um i believe it was brennan thompson juggled the ball 15 times and threw it into the air so many drops but also you know barely 50 50 completion percentage for him with all those drops i mean i don't know he's a mess you can if you're if you're looking to will you drop him yeah go ahead the next seven weeks are a gauntlet

45:44Andy Holloway:yeah yeah i mean you're you're would you would much rather have like purdy might even still be on your waiver wire people just never want brock purdy uh did did you get an update there ben

45:54Mike Wright:johnson according to adam schafter four minutes ago caleb will likely miss some time okay makes

46:00Jason Moore:sense uh week to week so you you figure we we haven't heard the official ruling the grading but assuming this is like a grade one hamstring that you would expect him to miss two or three weeks hopefully not go on IR and be back in a month and be exciting again.

46:18Mike Wright:Drake May 14 for 22 208 yards no touchdowns.

46:23Jason Moore:He's not going to be good until AJ Brown comes back. I think the loss of Stefan Diggs and Booty being replaced by AJ Brown who is not there now it just seems like he really doesn't have someone reliable to go uh you know to pass the ball to yeah it's like hunter henry

46:43Mike Wright:no it hasn't i mean it hasn't looked good trevor lawrence 17 for 29 for 189 it was a really down day for trevor lawrence lamar jackson didn't have enough help in my opinion 21 for 31 235 and one one pick barely ran the football and you know knows the fact that zay flowers if you just remove him and this is possible like mark andrews is toast i mean that dude is not not a game-changing asset in any way and without jacoby lane who would have had a huge chance you were throwing the ball to

47:18Andy Holloway:what was it webster yeah bateman had a big day he finally came through on the the promise of like rashad bateman always is the he should be good he should be good why is he not good um yeah i want to go back catches i want to go watch the second half of that game again and just figure out what happened because it seemed like everything in the first half was going to be perfectly fine

47:43Jason Moore:for lamar yeah he got off to a hot start they they jumped out to an early quick lead fell asleep at the wheel yeah i will say it for for teams like with uh the patriots and with the ravens when you have one alpha wide receiver and not a lot behind him losing that guy it seems very similar where it's like he really did not have someone reliable jordan love 16 for 29 for 144 and two jordan love

48:13Andy Holloway:was in the other or one of the weather games i hate this guy now jason is i hate him jason is gonna get you you guys were just crushing everyone in that game but no one was good But neither offense.

48:24Jason Moore:This is not about that. No. This is about our prize picks lineup where two weeks in a row, I'm going to be shamed. Shame. But the reason why I'm shamed.

48:35Andy Holloway:Look in the mirror, bro. Sure.

48:36Jason Moore:I did bring it up. Yeah. But my point is, it's both weeks, Jordan Love on the Green Goblins, which are like the gimme's. He couldn't throw for more than 145 yards against the Jets?

48:52Mike Wright:Nope.

48:52Andy Holloway:boo i mean i guess jayden reed is everything to jordan love it was a bad week for that entire matchup yeah i think i'm there was rain i'm mostly throwing that game away yes i am

49:07Mike Wright:uh baker mayfield 21 for 34 for 182 um boy when he runs around like crazy and completes passes he's pretty cool when he runs around like crazy and airmails everybody not so cool again bad

49:19Jason Moore:weather but it's not it's not just been recently he hasn't scored 20 fantasy points since week 10 of last year second half of last year the bucks looked bad he looked bad their offensive line looked bad yeah i mean it has followed through to this season watson had a great game in the

49:35Mike Wright:bad weather so he didn't make good decisions i think i think the downfield side and abuka i mean we're gonna have to talk about it uh david montgomery oh boy six for ten all right the

49:45Andy Holloway:montgomery argument were one one to one yeah i mean this this one without nico i mean it was

49:51Jason Moore:it was really you're playing the run in this game um it feels like that would be like

49:58Mike Wright:i mean without zay flowers you're playing the run right with henry and he was fine yeah but henry is

50:04Jason Moore:that's that's where it is yeah exactly it's a level david montgomery is is a this is a opportunity play like david montgomery is good enough to capitalize on a good situation all

50:17Andy Holloway:right just wild when your quarterback puts up 350 yards let me let me ask you a question all right

50:24Mike Wright:do you want me to press this button with travis hn jr oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah

50:32Jason Moore:yeah full panic it's also ridiculous what the team i mean what are they doing eight carries 25

50:41Mike Wright:yards for the context two two targets two catches for six yards tons of camara on third down um john daigle pointed out that the saints gave travis hn jr 28 million dollars in guaranteed money and kenneth walker received 28.7 million in guaranteed money and the share of backfield touches through two weeks. HN is 57 % and 40%. Kamara

51:04Jason Moore:had more opportunities in the first half. They just went out and they paid a ton of money. They paid a ton of money to bring this player in. And while he was there, they brought a withered old, off of injury, Alvin Kamara and had him play. That's a tough word. Didn't they cut his money? What's that?

51:29Andy Holloway:They cut his money. to make him stay.

51:31Jason Moore:They gave him nine rushing attempts, Kamara, while he turned it into 15 yards. 1.7 yards per carry. But don't worry. They also targeted him six times in the passing game where he turned that into seven yards.

51:48Mike Wright:Dude, what are you doing? HN was all the way up at three yards of carry. That's who you gotta give the ball to.

51:54Andy Holloway:One of the funnier... They gave him 15

51:56Jason Moore:opportunities.

51:57Andy Holloway:Yeah, it's nuts. Funnier tweets of the weekend, front of the show, Josh Norris, was like, is the Travis HN Jr. contract, are they laundering money? Because why on earth would you give a running back? And they won. I don't care that they won. They care. They're making – I bet they wish they had the money for a different position.

52:16Mike Wright:We spent a year on rational coaching last year with Charbonnet and Ken Walker. There is no way they were doing the right thing with Ken Walker, and yet they won, and so they kept doing it. It's just – this is panic. I don't. A-chan is not. I don't understand what they're doing. He's not even positioned to be an RB2 right now.

52:31Jason Moore:No, he's. Well, I mean, he's not. I don't think he's that great as a player. This is a player I think Mike and I have been down on pretty much most of his career. He's had a lot of touchdown success, which has helped his fantasy outputs. Coming over, we were hoping that because of the money, they turned him into a three down. Yes. Kind of a bell cow usage. And they didn't. They were doing the same thing with Kendra Miller last week. Then Alvin Kamara this week, they are not going to seemingly make him the engine of the running game. Yeah.

53:07Mike Wright:Through two games, he has six carries in the first half. That's total. Okay. Jeremiah Love, nine for 29. It was a – Another one. Okay. It was a bad game against a great defense. Cardinals, I think, threw for about 115 yards. This game was nasty.

53:24Jason Moore:Was it tied at halftime? 7-7 at halftime. I thought maybe. Honestly, the Cardinals came out. They looked great for the first half as far as hanging. It was one big play. One play, one broken play for JSN, an 83-yard touchdown. And then it was 7-7 at the half. The Cardinals imploded, and the Seahawks took over in the second half. But I also think part of that, something happened with Jacoby Brissett because he came out in the second half. Yes. and could not get anywhere near a receiver. I mean, uncatchable target after uncatchable target. And so it was all three and outs. The Cardinals didn't have any time to possess the ball, which meant, you know, it's like you say, okay, Jeremiah Love, oh, they're still involving Tyler Algier.

54:10Jason Moore:He didn't do it. Tyler Algier had five carries. The Cardinals did not play offense in this game.

54:16Mike Wright:Yeah. Javante Williams, what are your thoughts on Javante through two weeks? He looks bad. 12 for 30.

54:22Andy Holloway:looks horrible. 12 for 30? Yeah. Did his big run come back?

54:27Jason Moore:Did that get called back?

54:29Andy Holloway:What was his long on the week?

54:30Jason Moore:Oh, it had to have gotten called back. His long says it was nine yards. This is what... I remember like a 30... Oh, it did. I remember it now. It did get called back. He had a very, very long run.

54:39Andy Holloway:Right after I was dunking on him. Yeah.

54:41Mike Wright:So he needed some holding to get him there?

54:42Andy Holloway:Yes. It's... Amari DiMarcato... Well, I mean, I don't know how high up people will be talking about him, but longer term, But if you're the Cowboys, I know you gave Javante the money. You can't keep doing that.

54:56Mike Wright:They'll keep doing it for a while.

54:58Andy Holloway:They'll keep doing it. For a while.

54:59Jason Moore:He played 80 % of snaps. They won the game handily. Dak was awesome. I don't think they look at anything bad there, but I will say from our perspective, the juice that is required for fantasy points, he is not showing it.

55:13Mike Wright:By the way, to roll back to the Cardinals and Jeremiah Love, that was the first time that the Cardinals did not complete a 10-yard pass since 1987. This game started with three or four targets to Trey McBride. He was my less pick on Friday for under 60 and a half yards and threw about five seconds of this game. I'm like, that is the dumbest pick I've ever done. I don't think he caught a pass in the second half. Something had to have happened to Brissette.

55:38Jason Moore:A Theo Mackie tweet. Brissette had to get injured because he went from week one. I thought Brissette was seeing ghosts, man. And the first drive of this game just looked like just looked like what he did last year. And then from that point on, the rest of the game, he couldn't hit the backside of a barn.

55:57Mike Wright:Quinchan Judkins, 12 for 21. Tried really hard, though, on all of them. He tried so hard on all of those runs, guys. He is much more involved in the passing game now that Dylan Sampson's been out. Five catches for 27 yards. He'll take five targets. Ramondre fumbled. The only thing you can't do, Ramondre. And he fumbled. And then Travo scored. It was a – how long was that run? 39 yards?

56:23Andy Holloway:Something close to that.

56:24Mike Wright:So he had a 39-yard run, got a bunch of work after that.

56:28Jason Moore:Travion was 16 for 76 and a rushing touchdown. Looked great. I mean, obviously the fumble that Ramondre had seemed like that took his utilization down. He only had six carries. He was 2.3 a carry on his other 15 carries.

56:44Mike Wright:That's what you get. That's the Travo experience. You get the chance at the big play, but between the tackles, you end up – I mean, like, Ramondre was not bad between the tackles. Six for 43. But he fumbled, and then Travo gave them juice. And, look, the offense is kind of weird and broken right now in New England.

56:59Jason Moore:I still do not understand why they are not getting Travion Henderson involved in the passing. Receiving work. Put him out in the slot. Yes. Put Ramondre in the backfield and put Travo in the slot.

57:10Mike Wright:I agree. And then, you know, Bijan did his best. yeah that's another and his best is okay so hard and he's so good but when you don't have a

57:19Jason Moore:quarterback and right now the falcons do not have a quarterback until one of pua gets back there you might be able to end that sentence right there they might not have a quarterback we got

57:30Mike Wright:to remember that like before the injury like two of us going to get this job yeah but i can't

57:38Jason Moore:Jack Strand doesn't look good. No, but that's what I'm saying. Cooper Rush and Jack Strand, they're so incompetent, incapable.

57:47Mike Wright:I know, but I mean, I think Penix is a bottom third starter. But he's a starter. Yeah, okay. Ashton Jinty, he tried hard as well. 21 for 48. They won the game. 4 for 15 in the passing game. Just didn't get into the end zone. Chase Brown, 20 for 80. Putting him here. That's rude. This is not a dud.

58:05Jason Moore:That's rude. And they were up so much.

58:08Andy Holloway:The 2480s, that's a good game.

58:11Jason Moore:And the Bengals were up. Brooks, that's rude. So much that where you usually get a lot of passing work from Chase Brown. No borderline duds, Brooks. One of your picks was the receiving work for him. And they didn't need to throw. They wanted to run the clock out.

58:26Andy Holloway:My prize picks, I had Chase Brown in there. It was 21 or 21.5 receiving yards. He got two, which I believe Chase Brown had been basically over 21 forever.

58:38Mike Wright:We didn't talk about Burrow because he didn't have some kind of superstar game, but the target shared wide receivers got fixed this week. T. Higgins and Jamar Chase.

58:47Andy Holloway:If you haven't seen the Jamar Chase, his first touchdown, it is electric.

58:51Jason Moore:It's one of the best catches I've ever seen. He had the ball thrown across his body. He had to basically do a 180. He was falling down. He was falling down. He was falling down. And had to get his feet in somehow, and he did everything perfect. It's just an unbelievable catch.

59:08Mike Wright:All right, wide receiver duds. Tell me if you want the button for any of these guys. Drake London, four for 51.

59:14Jason Moore:I don't want the button yet on him because, again, I think things don't get good but get significantly better

59:22Mike Wright:when they get a quarterback there. Well, it's time to have this conversation. Roma doings a Luther burden. Rome, three for 43.

59:29Andy Holloway:Luther burden, three for 32. I mean, that's their wide receiver two and three on their team. Yeah, I always say the – I don't want to hit it, But the biggest panic is the utilization right now of Luther Burton, of him not being a full-time player. Like, it certainly sounded like he was going to be. Khalif Raymond, man. The stats of that game are – I talked about it on Sunday Live because that was the weather report game of, oh, no, this weather of this level of rain and this level of wind is going to come in and it's going to be a disaster for fantasy. and the fact that Luther and Colston Levin were bad in week one and now they're not going to be good.

1:00:12Andy Holloway:Nobody's going to be good in this type of a weather. I mean. But it's the on-field stuff that you should be scared about.

1:00:20Mike Wright:He played 57 % of snaps. Khalif Raymond was at 62%. Raymond was 5 for 40. He's not going to be a startable asset ever. No, no, he's not. But he will ruin people. Exactly. But so will, like, Colt Comet. Yeah, and look, the fact we're talking about a Duns-A, Burden, and Loveland, they scored 59 points in week one, and they didn't do anything. You're going to lose Caleb Williams. This is totally – you should not – there isn't a lot of copium here in this situation. Like Burden – I absolutely believe Burden and a Duns-A will have a better fantasy year than Khalif Raymond. Both of them will. I completely agree.

1:00:55Mike Wright:And they will be way potentially below your expectations, hopes, and ADP.

1:01:00Jason Moore:Yeah, if Khalif Raymond continues playing 50-plus percent of the snaps, that is not going to do it for him, but it will ruin Luther Burden because Luther Burden will not be playing 85 % of the snaps.

1:01:12Mike Wright:Zaccheaus was on that team last year, right? Yes, correct. And he was playing ahead of Luther Burden. Well, I'm looking. It's like 60. He's got the exact same role. I mean, 60 % of snaps. So 53 was the average on the year for Zaccheaus, but he missed a couple games with injury and left one early with injury.

1:01:29Jason Moore:he basically played the exact kalief raymond snaps the process from fantasy bros this offseason was that now it will be luther burden now that he's not a rookie we saw him kind of explode at the end of the year he will be a full-time player obviously he's drafted as like the wide receiver 15 earlier in the offseason before the end we were out then yes yes started dropping it looked more reasonable and and and i don't think that this is a guarantee that he can't get there no this year He still got the targets.

1:01:59Andy Holloway:Yeah. It's just the route share of. Yeah, he had more targets than Raymond. Of Kalief Raymond running more routes than Luther Byrne is just so, so bizarre.

1:02:09Jason Moore:But don't overreact. Do not overreact to what we're saying about Kalief being involved. This game was. Yeah. This was the true weather. It was 9-3. It was also the Vikings. Yes. Vikings, great defense. Hit that nasty button, Mike. Great defense.

1:02:25Mike Wright:Yeah, that's what that game was. and then you had the injury to boot to finish it out. You just got to hold on. Jefferson, just three for 55 there? Yes. Did you hear that over there? Yeah, they heard it. That's cool. That's cool. I wish I had. I bet it sounded pretty good, huh? George Pickens, six for 40. It's been – they just haven't hit on the big play yet. Yep. Jameson Williams, two for 33. I don't want to talk about it. Mike Evans, three for 54.

1:02:53Jason Moore:I feel like George Pickens right now is maybe a pretty good trade for Canada. Yeah, I agree. They missed on huge plays in week one, and honestly, eight targets, six for 40. It's not the end of the world. Every wide receiver is inconsistent. Big games are coming.

1:03:09Mike Wright:Evans and Debo, they were not the beneficiaries of the perfect game, so to speak. It was only, what did I say, 15 completions that were necessary for Brock Purdy. But people spent up on Debo. He looked fine. They didn't need him.

1:03:23Andy Holloway:They didn't need him. And now DeMarcus Robinson is out. Like, Debo has to be a huge part of the offense now.

1:03:31Mike Wright:Yes. And Ladd McConkie, by the way, 3 for 35, was not in on every snap. Oh, was in on? Very few.

1:03:37Jason Moore:Yeah. I mean, this is.

1:03:39Andy Holloway:Let me see. Let's look it up.

1:03:40Jason Moore:Watching it, I don't know. So it looks like 46 % of snaps he was in on. It felt like he was in on 5 % of snaps.

1:03:48Mike Wright:How many did you say? 46%. So here's what's wild. And JJ, friend of the show, you might know him from his bowl cut. When, and we've been talking about this, but we didn't have data to back it up. When Ladd McConkie has been off the field, the Chargers have an EPA per play of minus.41, which is the second worst in all of football. When he's been on the field, that number is.12, which is the seventh best in all of football. We've been saying when Ladd is not out there, their offense looks incapable of moving the football at all. Look, if Brandon Thompson and Trey Harris and David Njoku and these guys are going to drop the ball, that's all it is.

1:04:28Mike Wright:Ladd can catch.

1:04:29Jason Moore:I think as Ladd gets healthier, this offense will hopefully figure it out, get it together. But we've talked a lot about how brutal their schedule is coming up.

1:04:37Mike Wright:Yeah, they basically protected his ribs on any play that required them to run the football, put him out there when there was a chance to use him. But until he's fully healthy, it's going to be scary.

1:04:50Jason Moore:This next player had the best bad game I have ever seen in my life. Terry McLaurin, he dominated this game. He had a 35-yard touchdown, called a touchdown on the field, that then was overturned, said it was out of bounds. Then he had a wide open play in the end zone for a long touchdown that he was completely missed on. Thanks, Antonio Williams, wide receiver throwing the football. Yeah, that was Antonio Williams throwing the football. And then he had another play where he had his man beat, end zone target, overthrown nine targets. Ended up with 50 yards, but it was, I mean, two for 50 on those nine targets where it was like, you just, every time you looked, it was like, oh, he's open.

1:05:37Jason Moore:He's in the end zone. He's going to have a touchdown. No.

1:05:40Mike Wright:What happens if your nine targets ends up with 27 yards? What would your name be?

1:05:45Jason Moore:That sounds like DK Metcalf. That is DK Metcalf. Oh, man.

1:05:48Mike Wright:And, Mike, I never thought you'd get me to say this. He sucks. That dude sucks. And that offense, by the way, we've seen bad offenses in the NFL. That is statistically the worst offense so far through two weeks. The Pittsburgh offense. No. Yes. Statistically? Statistically. They're worse than the Falcons? Yeah, I think EPA per play they're worse. Whoa. Oh, Atlanta's worse. Okay. Second worse. That makes sense. I just couldn't get past Atlanta. But those two are hanging out. You know what I mean? Oh, yeah. Like they're going out together. Yeah, yeah.

1:06:23Andy Holloway:Yeah, Rodgers is, he's like, hey, Cooper Rush, let me tell you how to play football. Also, that tackle on Rodgers, if you haven't seen it.

1:06:31Mike Wright:And it's close, Jason. They are point, oh, they're so close to being the same. Point zero two. One of them has Cooper Rush. One has Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers, and they're that close.

1:06:39Jason Moore:Aaron Rodgers got hit in the back, blindsided, and he turned into the letter, like a backwards letter C. You know? I mean, it was awful.

1:06:52Mike Wright:I've never heard somebody describe. I guess that's what Tyler Shuck did on the goal line. They turned him into a regular letter C. I mean, it was. His face off. It was disgusting.

1:07:02Jason Moore:And he popped right back up, but he was asked after the game.

1:07:05Mike Wright:I mean, you have to roster Metcalf because nine targets and ten targets. He is leading the NFL in expected, the differential between real fantasy points and expected fantasy points through two weeks.

1:07:16Jason Moore:Because he sucks, and so does Rodgers at this stage. I mean, obviously, first ballot Hall of Famer, all-timer, but he does not have it.

1:07:25Mike Wright:That team is going to have, they need T.J. Watt to play more positions than one. Yes, they did win the game. Yeah, yeah. No, that was last week. No, that was against Atlanta. That was last week against the worst offense. Yes. The only team they could beat was the team that was somehow worse. Carnell Tate just 3 for 27 in this game. It has not gotten going for Carnell Tate. And I don't know if it can get going. I hope so. He did lead the team in target share. I believe it was 29%. Okay. Yeah, you're hoping for brighter days.

1:07:59Jason Moore:Cam Ward had an okay fantasy output. He did get two rushing touchdowns. One was on a super short field. uh the passing work still to me is leaving a lot to be desired but i mean some signs some some like like the flatline started beeping you know i did it i'm safe for ward uh i think maybe the

1:08:22Mike Wright:crash cart is in the other room and they're still grabbing it but it was flatline and i hear i heard

1:08:26Jason Moore:a beep you heard a i heard a beep you hoped you might have heard it upstairs you go beep and you You go, what? Did he move?

1:08:33Mike Wright:I didn't see him move. Okay. Did he move? I heard a beep. I mean, I guess we'll give you that. Do we have a beep here? The conversation, I think the number one conversation people want to have, unfortunately, is this guy. It is Colston Loveland. Three targets, one for three. Through two weeks, he has one catch. His target share. Remember we were complaining about burdening a dunesday? Yeah. Just a second ago, it seems like. Yeah.

1:09:01Andy Holloway:Oh, they're doing great.

1:09:02Mike Wright:Burden's target share is 21%. Rome is 13%. Colson Loveland is at 9%. And this Loveland is a complete disaster.

1:09:14Andy Holloway:You can't? I don't know what you do with this.

1:09:18Jason Moore:You have to bench him and look for someone else while Caleb is gone? Oh, yeah. That's probably true.

1:09:25Andy Holloway:You don't believe in the secret pageant man? The secret pageant man.

1:09:29Mike Wright:I feel like, Mike, you were going to have to do one of the grossest things that you could possibly do, which is to play Dalton Schultz regularly. Dude, in my head. Over Colson Loveless.

1:09:39Andy Holloway:In my head, I was like, would you play Dalton Schultz? Of course. Of course you would. And I couldn't say it out loud, so I'm glad Andy did.

1:09:45Jason Moore:I mean, like this week coming up. Because it's true. What is happening? You have to wait.

1:09:51Mike Wright:I mean, at least with Tucker Kraft, right? He's in this section. The dude's coming back from a catastrophic knee injury for the first two weeks of the year. in one of these games, that's the first time a team has won with under 101. That Green Bay game, they won by double digits, but they were under 200 passing yards. They were enough. Oh, no, they didn't win by double digits. Kyle, find me that number because the improbability of Green Bay winning that football game was historical performance-wise. But Loveland, I mean, you can't trade him for anything close to the value you spent on him in the draft.

1:10:26Mike Wright:I don't think you should. Here it is. The Packers are the first team since 1941 to win a game with less than 200 total yards. That's what it was. Total yards. 100 plus penalty yards and a negative turnover margin. And they managed to win that game against the Jets. Gross. Which I think the win started right when the head coach of the Jets, Aaron Glenn, decided to do another sideline dance of sorts.

1:10:48Jason Moore:The Packers look legitimately bad so far. And it really seems like they need Josh Jacobs. Bad.

1:10:55Mike Wright:we'll see so but back to loveland yeah it is a hold it is two weeks but now you have the injury to caleb that compounds they like just go back to the well you haven't had the big play you haven't had the touchdown look we just said it tyler warren has like very few yards on the season but he's got two touchdowns to kind of you know let you get through to where he can start putting a better yardage do you think caleb williams saves the packers by the way jason or caleb johnson

1:11:23Jason Moore:Caleb Johnson, I don't think that they're going to give him enough work. He did look like their best running back. He really did. Which, when they got it around the goal line, I was like, if Caleb Johnson gets this touchdown, he's so great. Unfortunately, it was Marshawn Lloyd. They talked about he's earned more. They're going to get him more work. But I do expect news, hopefully this week, on Josh Jacobs. Seems like it'll be four to six games. and then so I don't see Caleb Johnson's not going to be rescuing this team Josh Jacobs is going to be rescuing this team and Micah Parsons

1:11:57Andy Holloway:yeah Parsons is the big one

1:12:00Mike Wright:yeah the targets and utilization for Loveland are just scary right now

1:12:04Jason Moore:against Philly this week with a backup quarterback I don't imagine you could start Loveland with any kind of confidence there will be waiver tight ends I mean if you don't believe

1:12:15Mike Wright:then you want to trade

1:12:16Jason Moore:trade is fine there's no world where you can cut Colson Love no

1:12:21Mike Wright:what is that trade would you trade him I'm going to say it would you trade him for Travis Kelsey

1:12:31Jason Moore:no I still think what's Kelsey's roster I'd trade him for Tyler Warren no one's doing that no one's doing that that's true

1:12:47Jason Moore:i'd go i'd go for jamar chase yeah no i would definitely um uh i don't i think would you trade him for george kittle yeah yeah so i mean the kelsey thing's interesting because

1:12:59Mike Wright:the way this offense looks right now he's not going to be coming off the field the concern

1:13:03Andy Holloway:with travis kelsey is the age yeah and like wearing down versus going getting better colston Loveland will get better over the course of the season. We just, now the questions are fair of how good does Colston Loveland actually get? Because do we see the greatness of the playoff run or it's still just two weeks, or is it just completely broken? Yeah,

1:13:26Mike Wright:I don't know. It's been so weird. It's not like this offense is bad for two weeks. It's the offense was incredible in one week and he just wasn't involved. Kyle Pitts, three targets, one for 15. So, So the big controversial trade, guys. Tucker Craft, Kyle Pitts, I really upgraded. I went from one for 15 to two for 15 in a fumble.

1:13:45Jason Moore:Yeah, it's dumb. That's dumb. You're playing for the championship weeks, the playoffs, which, I mean, Tucker Craft was a guy that was off my board simply because I didn't want the slow start that we assumed was coming.

1:13:58Mike Wright:Did you see a snap count this past week? No. I didn't until just now. Yeah. Week one, 66%. Uh-huh. 98. Get out of here. 98. Wait, really?

1:14:09Jason Moore:He played 98 % of the snaps in week two?

1:14:11Mike Wright:Yeah. Wow. That – They had fewer than 200 total yards. That team was – it was a broken week. They will – they did start the year road, road. They get to come home for three out of the next four, and boy, oh, boy, they get to play Atlanta next week. We'll see what happens there. Tomorrow, a waivers episode, and it's going to be an important one. There are bigger names than last week. There are more injuries than last week, and there's more panic in the streets on certain players than last week because you're two weeks in and you've got some things to fix and we're here to help you. Waivers episode tomorrow.

1:14:44Mike Wright:Wednesday, we'll get into some Unsolved Mysteries, the TNF preview, some mailbag on Wednesday. We have our extra episode every week called The Footcast.
