1:08Jason Moore:Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
1:26Mike Wright:welcome in.
1:35Mike Wright:Monday, September 28th, the Fantasy Footballers Podcast. Mike Wright, Jason Moore, Andy Holloway.
1:46Mike Wright:I hate injuries. There are so many injuries. There are many. And I even hate them. I hate them extra. I extra hate them when they happen at the top of a game and not the bottom. You know what I mean?
2:01Jason Moore:If you're going to get injured, at least respectfully, even if it happens early, score a touchdown first. Score a touchdown, then pull your hammy. You know, that's just the respectful way to do it.
2:12Mike Wright:I mean, A-chan, beginning of the game. Terrence Ferguson, beginning of the game.
2:17Jason Moore:Dude, he was going to be so good.
2:18Mike Wright:Right after I tweeted.
2:19Jason Moore:Oh, you and me both. Yeah, I saw you posted. I literally have him everywhere except our dynasty leagues.
2:25Mike Wright:But, Jason, why didn't you recommend Tyler Higbee? Oh. We have news happening. Hit the button. Hit the button. Breaking news. The Giants are trading for a quarterback. Okay. Is this a big boy quarterback? From Minnesota. J.J. McCarthy? Oh, McCarthy. J.J. McCarthy. Did you see? What? They just paid Jameis. Well, yeah, but then they watched him. Fair. Did you see this thing yesterday? Joe Schmoe.
2:58Jason Moore:Yes, yes, yes. Schmoe. We call him your Schmoe? They're GM.
3:00Mike Wright:So did you see this thing? Yes. Holy crap. Did you see this, Mike? He tweeted what looked to be a private list. Joe Schoen?
3:10Jason Moore:I don't know how to say his name. I feel like that's something we should know. Joe Schmoe, for sure.
3:16Mike Wright:So he tweeted a private list.
3:18Jason Moore:I assumed it was fake. When I saw that post, I was like, here's what it said.
3:21Mike Wright:It said James Winston Curran, J.J. McCarthy, need. Then it was a bunch of other names, Richardson, Flacco, Rush, Scadaboo. Why is Scadaboo? I know. That was why I thought it was fake. And then Drew Brees said no. Russell Wilson, last resort.
3:35Jason Moore:You sure this isn't fake? I think that was fake. Regardless.
3:39Mike Wright:But the guy that they said need on the fake list is the guy they traded for. The 2027 fifth rounder is all it took. Yeah. It's just. Yeah. Yeah, that is. Wow. It's bad news for Dart. That's where my brain immediately goes. Why is it bad news for Dart? Well, you just traded for a question. It's not a question. No, no, no, no, no. Dart is bad. I'm saying how bad is his knee? Well, he's out for the year, Mike. Yes. No, I know that. They want a chance to win this year. They're two and one, right? It's surprising. This just makes sense. Winston's not the solution. I agree with that. But to go to a developmental quarterback.
4:15Exactly. If you're saying, we're trying to win right now, we're going to go get a guy for nothing.
4:19Mike Wright:They traded a fifth-round pick for a chance to win this year. This is just like, hey, we want some upside. We don't want to go out there and get a garbage backup nothing burger quarterback to come in and be the same as Winston. We want some chance at going to the playoffs. I'm surprised they didn't. And it's hardball. I mean, this is a guy that played with his brother. So this is a bit of a – this one makes perfect sense to me.
4:44Jason Moore:Yeah, it does. I don't think it's a dumb thing to do. It is surprising because the fact that you have a young future, you know, you just drafted him. He is the future of the franchise in Jackson Dart trading for a young prospect who was also supposed to be the future of a franchise. a recent you know first round draft pick is just surprising i think it's smart i think it's smart to go get someone that gives you a chance and it will probably fail we've seen mccarthy fail enough to know like it's probably not going to be good enough james has looked terrible he'll be better than james and he'll execute like i would have rather gone and got anthony richardson and just
5:24Mike Wright:try to like create a running game yeah not me no i this is the best player you could have acquired in terms of this is a third stringer now on Minnesota. Yes. You know what I mean? This is a guy that's left for dead, which made him available, and you're 2-1.
5:41Jason Moore:We're actually not talking about the biggest impact of this, how good the Vikings are going to be. Their locker room is now freed of nine, and so I think this is a real good morale boost for the Vikings. Because their quarterback looked awesome. On Sunday. Oh, gosh. Terrible. Terrible Kyler Murray. The prior Sunday he did. Yes. It's funny because when the game starts, it's like, why do they refuse to just use Wentz
6:09Mike Wright:who's good? I mean, it is a wild trade. No question about it. I don't connect it to Jackson Darton anyway. But I will say that that list was apparently very fake. Yeah. It was apparently very accurate. The fake list from Joe Schoen. Sometimes you tell a joke and it becomes the truth. And the joke ends up being right. And, I mean, look, here's what you didn't want to come in on Monday and talk about. That Malik Nabors has no future this year for your fantasy team. Oh, true. That you don't have Isaiah Likely, who seemed like a great draft pick, having any relevance.
6:41Jason Moore:Isaiah Likely, who is number nine. Yeah. Which means J.J. McCarthy. Get rid of that name. Super good. He needs to get rid of his alter identity of nine. I hope it's not like 37. He has to pick the most disgusting number. The most aesthetically unpleasing number you can find, J.J. McCarthy. I will say that I don't think J.J.
7:02Mike Wright:McCarthy will start this week. I know. Oh, no, no. I think there'll be some time to acclimate. But I guarantee you this was a little bit of the hardball. Hey, this guy can run. Oh, Brooksie, a double zero?
7:10Jason Moore:Double zero. That's what we're talking about. I don't think it's allowed, but that would be awesome. He'll probably go 19.
7:15Mike Wright:I had a friend who wore double zeros for a basketball team. Everyone called him boobs. Makes sense. He didn't like that at all. No. He did not like that nickname. Oh, players are not allowed. All right, there you go. some breaking news to start the show and i was complaining about injuries and there's wow man you know who likes that's wild is there is that a slight resurrection in dynasty for jj mccarthy
7:35Jason Moore:or not really well for sure i mean it's better than this year yeah as of now he has a chance to start nfl games versus he didn't so yeah of course that's an uptick for i i did not assume that he was going to be traded for or traded away for that matter but i think it's it makes sense for both parties. Hopefully he can figure it out. I know Mike and I believed he was better than he showed in the NFL. Obviously this was a guy who didn't start enough college games. You see Tyler Shuck after 20 years in college coming to the NFL. Happy birthday to Tyler Shuck. Oh, is he 42 now? Yes, he is.
8:14Mike Wright:Didn't McCarthy pay a ton? I see 28 starts in college. Is that a ton? 28 starts is almost a deal of them. Still needed more. Look, I think that McCarthy, once they made the decision, it was over in Minnesota. It was not going to happen. Once Carson Wentz is the second guy, this was a fifth-round pick. You might as well just no sunk cost fallacy here. Let's get rid of this guy. That way Kyler Murray can just run away with the job. The 3-0 Vikings, that is.
8:47Jason Moore:The team is so good. I think the playoff Vikings are going to be a force to be reckoned with with Carson Wentz. I think when the playoffs come around and Carson Wentz is leading this team. Carson Wentz is not that good either. No, he sucks.
9:02Mike Wright:That defense is so good. You just need somebody to not turn the ball over, and both those guys turn the ball over. That's the wild thing. Wow. Look, we've got so much to talk about. That's a hot start. We've got all the Monday pun day. We've got to get into your reactions. And my goodness, it was hard to find somebody say something nice about somebody this week. I mean, it was difficult. The tight ends had a week. Yes, they did. The tight ends had a week. You see, it was the most touchdowns for the tight end position like ever. I did not know that, but that adds up with the submissions you guys sent in there.
9:37But I saw a tweet about it.
9:39Mike Wright:I'm not surprised. I mean, you had tons of guys like in the Seattle game. I don't even know who that dude was. Saubert or whatever? We call him Sorbet. sorbet went into the end zone and the higby the touchdowns for uh for shuck those were tight end yeah and they were they were mighty fine i saw some poor souls that dropped joan johnson in order to pick up terrence ferguson for the long-term value i would have done that yes i would have done it whoa oh yeah i mean i would have done i love joan johnson i can't imagine
10:08Jason Moore:dropping him i absolutely would have dropped him for terrence ferguson same which would have worked
10:13Mike Wright:out based on Tyler Higbee. Raiders Saints had six touchdowns by tight ends because Mayer scored in that game. Bauer scored in that game. That's the most tight end touchdowns in a single game in NFL history. It's a tweet from Josh Dubow from the AP it looks like. There were 20 touchdown catches by tight ends today. Most of the day in NFL history. That's most of our positive on the Monday Punday. Here were your submissions and reactions to the weekend in the most sophisticated way possible. Starting with, of course, First of tight end. Brock Powers. You had Mighty Higgins. Juin Johnson. My favorite new addition, the Grand Kenyon.
10:55Jason Moore:He was great. Or Winyan Sadiq. Yeah, you had Tyler Higbeest. Oh, classic. A refined classic. Harold Manning Jr. Do we like Glock Purdy or Brock Tutty? They're both good, and he is great. No weapons left. Jamiracle Gibbs? Yes. What about driving in your Kittle Red Corvette? Kittle Red Corvette.
11:20Mike Wright:Oh, no. It's Drake, may I drop you? Omari Yon Hampton. Starvin Harrison. I also thought Omari and Hamper was very funny. I like that one a lot. Did you say Starvin Harrison? What about Michael Sitman Jr.? Yeah. Aaron Rodgers hates him.

11:40Jason Moore:Or Oronde Batson. Oh, David Mont. Bummer. Re. Bummer. Yes, thank you. Finished it. Bad McConkie. Oh, Ted Arutro. Yes.
11:51Mike Wright:Millen. Oh, that one's good. Tyler crapped. How about a Mecca egg boo. Or if Gronk was saying it, a Mecca egg big poo.
12:04Jason Moore:And we'll finish it out here with another rookie. Jadarian yikes or Jadarian overpriced.
12:11Mike Wright:Oh boy. There was a lot of Jadarian puns submitted. Yeah. About his fumbling? No, none about the fumbling. Production? Yeah, this is not... I mean, that team. I'm going to lose it, by the way, in the great League of Records super team. I'm going to lose. And a lot of it comes down to the Seattle DST T... PP, whatever you want to call it. Seattle was atrocious. Drew Locke looked a lot better than Sam Darnold did. Made some mistakes in the defense. Getting cooked, this was the lowest implied point total for a team. Washington, going into the week, and they scored, what, 30-something points? I put that one more on the defense.
12:59Yeah, I mean, it was shocking. What was the final score? Seattle had plenty of points.
13:05Mike Wright:Yeah, they did. Wasn't Washington in the 30s? Yes, they lost. I feel like Seattle was in the 30s. Come on, where's the score? 33-31. If you put up 31, I'm not blaming the offense. No, and you know who? So Seattle, defending champs, loses to Washington on the road, right? That's amazing. To a backup. So what do you think? So they're on the road. Now they're coming home, right? You think they're going to have a chip on their shoulder? Probably. After losing on the road and giving up 30 points as a defense and the 12th man, guess who they play next week? At home. Please tell me. The Chargers. Oh.
13:41Mike Wright:The Chargers get to go into Seattle after a loss. After a loss. Thank you for your submissions on Instagram at Fantasy Footballers, on X at the FF Ballers. We'll talk more news. News and notes from around the league. I apologize. I think I have a little too much adrenaline running through my system due to escaping the toilet trophy by five seconds before the show began.
14:09Jason Moore:We were literally doing a countdown from five because we were ready to start and you were still in the bathroom.
14:15Mike Wright:And then you blockaded the door.
14:17Jason Moore:The Falcon did. Yeah, the Falcon did, which was a pro move. Good job. But, yes, you overcame the garbage can blockade. Five seconds. Got here with about three seconds to spare.
14:27Mike Wright:All right. Case Keenum expected to start tonight for the Bears. tyson bajin did clear the protocol but didn't practice much so they're going to go with the guy that practiced more case keenum against seattle all right we'll see if ben johnson can against the philadelphia what did i say seattle oh i'm sorry you got seahawks on the mind i got
14:44Jason Moore:yeah the birds um puka nakua also on that injury we got news that caleb williams is a grade two hamstring it was originally reported there was a grade one so give him a little bit more respect for his for his pain but that's usually like a four to six week injury if you're a skilled position player they're saying they expect him to miss three or four weeks because obviously as a pocket passer but that does mean I doubt he is scrambling as much when he first comes back
15:16Mike Wright:all right let's talk about the Pukunukua situation he did not play again they said he could return in week four but he's dealing with an injury that's impacting his explosiveness and the I mean the Shefty tweet the organization does not believe surgery in this situation will be needed but it's not off the table if Nakua does not show signs of improvement
15:39Jason Moore:weeks ago Andy was saying he was afraid of sports hernia then after that McVeigh comes out and says it's he definitively said it is not a hernia then after that it is it's being reported as a hip injury and a groin injury and it goes back and forth it's his hip it's his groin his hip is groin which sounds what's in between
15:59Mike Wright:exactly like a sports hernia it looks like a core muscle injury that if he doesn't get his explosiveness back here here's the problem with those injuries and this is red alert and maybe he's back next week but is he the same puka next week you know what i mean is he is explosive also the longer you wait to rehab this obviously the longer it will take to recover from a surgery if you need one. A sports core injury surgery is going to take some time to recover from and you're losing weeks. That's my biggest concern about the season. So, you know, it was a loss last night. It was a crazy game. It seemed like there was no chance for Denver to score.
16:42Mike Wright:Then they managed to figure out how to do it. And they lose another game. I mean, they're 1-2. I can't believe they won. I know watching that game it just it felt like the Rams were in complete control even until the very end when when they were not when they were losing you're like hey no the Rams they're fine
17:02Jason Moore:they got this right yeah a hundred percent I mean it really it really seemed like they were in control of that game um some of that is you know when you're on the road it makes a difference that that kind of the the vibe of the stadium behind you at the end of the game it's so funny I was I was watching that game and I was like, the Denver Broncos don't have a great offense. But what they do have, genuinely, is they believe that they are a great team. They believe that they are going to win every game. You know what I mean? If they're in a game at the end, they have that winner's mentality that carries over to games.
17:41Jason Moore:Even though you watch for a lot of this game, it was like, man, their offense just didn't look good. and they figure it out in the end.
17:49Mike Wright:So the biggest news, Devon Achan out for the year with a torn ACL. It's a big one. Now, I actually think there's going to be some nuance and thought here as we get into waivers tomorrow because the initial knee-jerk reaction that I had because, you know, Ollie Gordon took over and played the rest of the game. Looked good. I think Ollie Gordon's a good player. I've thought that for a while. Ever since he's, I mean, every snap he's gotten, I feel like he has something better than the Jalen Wright. But Jalen Wright wasn't, Jalen Wright's ahead of him in the depth chart, technically, and did not play in this game.
18:22Mike Wright:He was out with a foot injury. So I'm not saying you don't dump a lot on Ali Gordon versus Jalen Wright. I'm just saying there's a chance and probably a likelihood that there's a committee situation in some proportion here. They like Jalen Wright. And, you know, if you just think this guy's going to take over with the kind of market, you know, target market share, running back share in this offense, I'm, you know, as A-Chan, I don't think that's happening.
18:47Jason Moore:No, of course not. A-Chan over his two healthy games was getting 81 % of the snaps. That's an outrageous number for running backs. They don't play 81 % of snaps. During that time, he was averaging less than 10 fantasy points per game. So now you split that up on a bad offense between Ollie Gordon and Jalen Wright. is it going to be the number one pickup maybe if you're a running back needy team is it going to be a rest of season great fantasy asset no yeah that one's a tough one I think there were some teams
19:21Mike Wright:this week that kind of put up a little bit of a fight Miami was one of them I mean they looked okay in stretches of this game kept the game close but huge bummer we lose another player for the entire season baker mayfield dislocated his thumb and was screaming on the field yeah also just on such a dumb play yeah they they didn't need to to try to pick up a third and 19 with three timeouts and a chance to just let their defense go out and get them the ball back um they're expecting the last report two to four weeks with the thumb mri today more injuries i mean the the The quarterback injuries have been wild this year, and they have such ramifications for everybody in those offenses, right, with Jaden and Dart and these guys going down, you know, whether it's Bucky Irving or Abuka's chance to surge back to relevance or whatever the case may be, just sucks.
20:16Mike Wright:Agreed. Brees Hall left in the second half with a thigh injury, did not return. No, the quote was also not great. He said, quote, I felt something when I was running, and then I got tackled and planted and then felt something else, so we'll see. Felt two things. Not great. I didn't realize it was that bad.
20:36Jason Moore:Who's got him in Dynasty?
20:37Mike Wright:Brees Hall?
20:38Jason Moore:Yeah. I only say that because let's talk about this next player. Travis H.A. Jr. Oh, who's got him? Two of my three running backs gone. Exited with a hamstring strain.
20:48Mike Wright:Yeah, it's been like survival right now in a lot of leagues.
20:51Jason Moore:The issue with H.A. Jr.'s hamstring strain is that he was on the injury report this week with a hamstring injury. So whenever you re-aggravate it, you're usually going to miss some time. And the running game of the Saints against the Raiders actually looked okay. Like, A-chan finished 13 for 57 and caught his two targets. I mean, we were on path to a much better game for him, so this is a bummer. Yeah.
21:20Mike Wright:Yeah. I mean, my goodness. All right, Mike, what's next on the docket? Any good news? So, no, we've got to keep going through the bad news first. Rashad White, he injured his shoulder. He did not return to the game. He was seen with an ice pack on his shoulder. And the Washington Commanders, they're – Awesome, excellent. The first thing they did was they signed Austin Eckler, which that's fun to shout out to – we love Eckler. Yeah, welcome back. Great friend of fantasy football, great player in his time. Doesn't seem like good news for Rashad White if they immediately put a guy who would take over that job on the team.
22:00Mike Wright:So many more injuries to talk about. Jack Bash fractured his forearm, so that'll be a long time. And then Justin Jefferson, this one is a problem because every medical person I saw break this injury down because he did not return, they're all correlating it to the same injuries we saw with A.J. Brown, you know, high ankle sprain.
22:22Jason Moore:Yeah, high ankle sprains last year were all one to three week injuries. This year they are surgery. They are six to eight week injuries. Apparently ankles are getting softer or something. Is that an official report? Yeah, that's an official report. Or more of a speculative?
22:37Mike Wright:No, we don't. I mean, they have a week six bye. It looks like a high ankle. We'll see what the final report is. Mike Evans got carted off with a rib injury. He got smooshed. Yeah. Yeah, I just feel like it's always something.
22:53Jason Moore:Yeah, it is. And what's crazy is usually it's his soft tissue. This was all of his organs. Yeah, I mean, this was. He got absolutely crushed. Organs are soft. That's true. Well, the ribs. I always say organs are soft. The ribs that protect the organs, they turn soft. And, I mean, he got just smacked in the ribs. So other than Pearsall, Stripling, Demarcus Robinson, Christian Kirk,
23:17Mike Wright:Mike Evans. They've got everybody in the receiving game.
23:20Jason Moore:It is tough. Brock Purdy's been amazing. They're leading receiver didn't have a catch.
23:25Mike Wright:Did you know this, Jason? No. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Debo Samuel led the team in receiving. 80 receiving yards. Zero catches. Because of the hook and ladder? Yeah. That's ridiculous. That's wild. Jalen Coker, quad injury, didn't return. You don't like that with a wide receiver, and apparently Ted Arone mcmillan is not him dude jalen i believe the i saw it was one target after jalen coker left and there was plenty of time and they had a game script that they needed to throw and they were not bryce was not throwing at mcmillan bryce young has looked very very very good when jalen coker's been available for your first round wide receiver offensive rookie of the year a 12 target target share when you're having to throw is oh it's Darren Waller in the flats it was I mean I mean the pass rushing Mason Graham and company like the pressures I think there were like five players in Cleveland that had three plus pressures each that was a big component to not being able to get it downfield but it's feeling a little bit like the Coker Coker Michael Wilson comp and the Tett McMillan yeah I don't Marvin Harrison comp I don't agree with that because it's a little
24:37Jason Moore:extreme. Marvin is bad. Ted Aroa is good. He is a good player. I mean, like Mike just said, he was the offensive rookie of the year last year. He had over 1 ,000 yards as a rookie. That was a bad game. All wide receivers have down games. He should have been targeted more. We're surprised he's not. That's not prescriptive going forward. I mean, this is a player who, as a rookie, was targeted 122 times. So next week versus Detroit, who's got a very banged up secondary i would be happy to start ted yeah i i 94 of the routes and five targets for mcmillan
25:11Mike Wright:you know what you said is true tennie mcmillan is good i i is he great can he get to that's fair can he get to great i don't know jalen mcmillan aggravated his knee injury terrence ferguson on almost the first play of the game ankle injury then came back in then hurt it again came back
25:27Jason Moore:Like a dog got that first down he needed despite jumping on one leg. And then he's like, I can't.
25:34Mike Wright:That's crazy, man. Add depth if you can because you're going to need it. We haven't even gotten into bye weeks. Nope. These are bye weeks made by players. Also, I can't talk about anybody else that I like because it is not going well. You're killing guys. I mean, I liked A-chan a lot, guys. I liked A-chan a lot. and four of my other dudes are hurt, and Ladd McConkie is clearly not himself. If you watch him walk on and off the field, he's like struggling. Man, that team is in so much trouble. Oh, holy moly. I mean, we said it two weeks ago. The Chargers? The Chargers are in so – five turnovers and you can't win?
26:13Jason Moore:The Chargers, you know, you say like, oh, they're going to charge her. Like, that's a thing. And I've heard people that get really upset with that. Like, that's not fair to them. that's not a real thing here's a tweet from uh evan abrams since 2013 teams with five plus turnovers and a negative four turnover margin are three 81 and one straight up the three wins were
26:40Mike Wright:the bills over the chargers oh i'm afraid of these next two the jaguars over the chargers okay and
26:45Jason Moore:the broncos over the chargers the chargers are the only team you can beat if you have five turnovers I mean, dude, what? Are they cursed?
26:56Mike Wright:I don't know, man. Well, now you have a discussion to have around a guy we'll talk about in the duds because the snap share for Amari and Hampton was not good. Nope. Let's take a break, catch our breath. But there was some good. There was some good. We'll talk about him. Yeah, that's what we're doing next.
27:16Mike Wright:What's up, Foot Clan? Man, you are confident and disciplined and focused on details, just like everyone here at the Fancy Footballers, right? 28:49All right.
28:51Mike Wright:Let's bring some positivity to the show.
28:56Jason Moore:This week's Fantasy Stud Muffins.
29:00Mike Wright:Start of the week, Brock Purdy, number one scorer at the quarterback position this week. hyper-efficient. He's very good. Snap share percentage for Mr. George Kittle has risen immensely. One of the bigger stories of the week. He may be back. 297-4 for Brock Purdy. It doesn't matter if all his receivers are gone. He is just slicing and dicing. Sam Darnold managed to bring, I mean, look at this list. Sam Darnold, Geno Smith, Jacoby, Brissett, Bo Nix. You didn't hear me say Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Justin Herbert. You know, none of the guys that you thought were the guarantees this week. It was Darnold, Geno, Brissett, and Bo Nix from the grave at halftime.
29:51There was a name right under Bo Nix.
29:53Mike Wright:And Tyler Schuch. Yeah, baby! Who won that game, Mike? The Raiders did. In our battle of our adopted teams. Yeah. Yeah. You want to hear my prediction now? Sure. No. Raiders win the division. Raiders beat the Chiefs next week. Okay. All right. Oh, I've always been a lifelong Raiders fan for these last three weeks. It was an awesome game. That was a fun game. I mean, I did not know who was going to win at any point.
30:19Jason Moore:I think what it proved was that both of these teams are legit. Yeah. Like, I just watched two good teams playing, and we're three weeks in now. I think Cousins has three touchdowns in three straight games. Kirk Cousins has been playing fantastic.
30:33Mike Wright:I almost forget that they have the number one overall pick right now. But Tyler Shuck. Yeah, four more touchdowns. He is him. He's the QB three right now. He is him. QB three right now. Yeah, this is a week where we were putting to the test Bryce Young and Tyler Shuck. And one of them passed the test. And the guy who passed the test was also, everything I said about the defensive front of the Raiders held true and he still produced he was that's what's impressive and by the way it doesn't seem like anybody can cover Chris Olave ever he is always because he's awesome he's always awesome he always has been this is just like they they finally have someone or in the team who can get in the ball appropriately like The story of Chris Olave was on its way of just a wasted career, lost to injuries because Derek Carr and company keep giving him freaking hospital balls.
31:32But the fact that we're seeing what he's doing now, and he is elite. He is an elite wide receiver, and he's an elite fantasy football option. Juwan's now elite, and Tyson's elite, and Kale's elite,
31:44Mike Wright:and everyone's elite that Chuck is throwing to.
31:46Jason Moore:It's going to be great. What's funny is when we're watching football, ball we were usually watching nine screens at once and and trying to you know take everything in we're watching it together when an elite when one of the greats when when Justin Jefferson or Jamar Chase has some crazy sideline ball you just know you're right we just give them the benefit
32:08Mike Wright:of the doubt like of course yeah when Larry catches the ball and you go oh there's no chance
32:12Jason Moore:he got the feet down with those guys you just go no he got the feet you probably know he did he's perfect he's one of those that's Chris Olave right now like he had a one of those sideline balls where it's like, no way he got his feet. And it's like, no, of course he did. He's Chris Olave.
32:25Mike Wright:Yeah, I mean, the Saints are 1-2, but both of their losses went down to the wire pretty much. Aaron Rodgers, 290-3 for the first time since week 14. Crazy. Had some downfield throws. Of 2021. Oh, no, he's bombing it out. Yeah, I mean, this was a good – I mean, that was one of the almost upset, both of those games.
32:45Jason Moore:Yeah, you got both almost upsets, right?
32:47Mike Wright:Yeah, the Steelers and the Raiders. Where did the production go to?
32:52Jason Moore:Does that make you three for four so far? Three for four, yeah.
32:55Mike Wright:75 % is pretty good with crazy upsets. But Rodgers, yeah, he got it done. It was very spread around. Warren was good in the passing game. Metcalf had a touchdown. Roman Wilson had points. You got Friar Muth, Darnell Washington. No, Muth sucked, man. Oh, yeah, he hurt you on your prize picks. Yeah, he caught two passes on the matchup against the Bengals. Here's some names that you do recognize. Top five scorers at running back, Gibbs, B. John, Henry, Walker, CMC.
33:27Jason Moore:I mean, just like that feels automatic.
33:31Mike Wright:So the ones I actually want to talk about, Jeremiah Love and Jalen Warren. Those are the two. The Cardinals made a concerted effort to give almost everything to Jeremiah Love, which was awesome. And he had a big game, 21 for 90, and then scored in the receiving game again. If you didn't watch the game with San Francisco, the Cardinals were hanging. Yeah, 36-30. It was a very tight game that the 49ers, they're the better team, so they took it at the end. But making this transition and making Jeremiah Love, I mean, imagine taking a top-five NFL running back in the draft and then actually making him the engine of your team and good things happening.
34:12Mike Wright:We did get a quick injury update on Baker Mayfield, The MRI came back, no fracture, no ligament damage, no tendon damage. Three weeks or so max for Baker being out. So that is good for the bad bucks.
34:26Jason Moore:To give some numbers to Jeremiah Love being more involved, Jeremiah Love had 21 rush attempts. Tyler Algier had two. This is exactly what you want. You want to see a top five pick getting all of the work. And I would assume it probably won't be that crazy drastic, 21-2 going forward. It should be. Yeah, it should be. And I think this is prescriptive of the change has been made, and he's going to be close to a bell cow back going forward, and Algier will spell him, not split with him. The routes were still very close between Jeremiah Love and Tyler Algier. Stop it.
35:08Mike Wright:Trade for him. Stop it. trade for Jeremiah Levitt. The Cardinals have a good enough offense to keep up and a bad enough defense to never win. They're going to be in situations where you can't put Algier on there.
35:19Jason Moore:They've got a superstar wide receiver as well.
35:21Mike Wright:Michael Wilson? You're darn right. Was it 17 targets? 17 targets.
35:25Jason Moore:Yeah, I played against him this week. Only turned it into 89 yards.
35:28Mike Wright:And a score. Yeah.
35:30Jason Moore:11 for 89 in the touchdown. Great game.
35:32Mike Wright:Base all two in Javante Williams. Javante looked good. He did better this week than the other weeks combined. Yes, they finally had it going a little bit. And then Tootin with the donation touchdown.
35:43Jason Moore:Did you see the talk after the game?
35:47Mike Wright:I saw the brief conversation from Liam Cohen where he's like he wanted somebody else to have the touchdown.
35:51Jason Moore:No, did you see what – he's not wrong, and I think he might have even been maybe a little annoyed, but Trevor Lawrence said – Yeah. He said, I wanted to give Tootin the touchdown for the fantasy people. It's the dumbest thing I've ever seen. I'll tell you what. That smells bad. like that's oh like betting bad i'm not saying that i know i'm just saying it smells no matter
36:14Mike Wright:what it is it smells bad if you didn't see it eight plus minutes left wide open end zone for trevor lawrence takes a knee up 35 to six or something or 28 to six and then you know tootin scores on the next play you you can't do that with eight minutes no not with a you if you're lawrence you go they're like what happened you go total brain fart it i i thought there was two minutes i thought the clock was much lower than it actually was that which i i assume that's what really happened but for you to not just admit it is is strange it did seem tongue-in-cheek you're probably right that's probably what happened check this out bashal tootin because you look dumb no matter what so there are just admit it here are the top six players that have hit 15 plus miles an hour more than 10 times this year number one is bashal tootin 15 times he's fast Gibbs, Walker, Bijon, Hampton, and then Keaton Mitchell.
37:06I talked about Tootin on the Sunday Live. It was like, if you're going to trade for him, you've got to do it. He's still kind of buried. The hype for Bayshall Tootin was very, very strong over the offseason. I loved it. I was fully in on it. And then you're looking at the snap shares, and you're like, well, Crod, which there still is some timeshare. I believe Crod had a touchdown. they're kind of splitting that work but Basial Tootin is he's getting the majority of the work and he's a good player and it's a pretty strong offense so it he is you know I like the call to to try and trade for love I think that might be a little difficult but Basial Tootin it's possible
37:49Mike Wright:you can still get him yeah and then Jalen Warren I mentioned him briefly but he was everything for He was everything and looked great for the Steelers. Yes. Including a gigantic, huge run that then got called back on a dumb penalty. And then he fell.
38:07Jason Moore:And then another huge one. The reason was two plays later, he did the exact same thing, had a breakaway touchdown, and his legs were so tired that he tripped.
38:17Mike Wright:Like, he couldn't get his foot up. He turfed himself. If you look at the slow-mo of that, it looks like he hit a landmine. On the way to the – and he would have scored. Rico was out. So TBD, if this is still – if that's how they'll move forward with Warren. Probably will. They might. Rico might be going the way of Crod. Might be. JSN, Drake London, Garrett Wilson, Michael Wilson, Tamar Chase. By the way, what is it? JSN, Olave, Garrett Wilson, the trifecta in Ohio State. Pretty good week for those guys. Yep. Also a pretty good week for the guy who actually plays for Ohio State, Jeremiah Smith.
38:55Mike Wright:Oh, dude. Yeah. Four touchdowns.
38:56Jason Moore:Who was the other guy on the team with all those players? There was another one. Don't worry about it.
39:02Mike Wright:Marvin Harrison Jr. Yeah. Which, to be honest, pretty good game for Marv. 40 yards? Did you see the route where he caught the pass, too? He actually ran hard and stuff. Yeah. Good job, Marv. One of these days, he'll be a real boy. JSN, London, Wilson, Michael Wilson, Jamar Chase. Chase was 9 for 98. Higgins was 6 for 90 with the amazing catch. Kristen Watson on Thursday Night Football, Matthew Golden, both had big weeks. You had a big week for Kanata Mumfield, which will be an interesting conversation tomorrow on the waiver show in light of the Puka situation. Ferguson, it's not a hot swap for Higby.
39:41Mike Wright:Ferguson has more athleticism and is more of a typical wide receiver style player. If Ferguson's out for a while, I don't know. mumfield's probably worth a fab or two could be we'll see cd lamb had a nice week again and then
39:56Jason Moore:uh double digits for pickens for the first time slow start for lamb but he he got it together in the second half and absolute malpractice for the the the cowboys to not to call the time out with that much time left they should have gone to overtime it was i mean i don't think anybody
40:14Mike Wright:thought that could happen in six seconds and then they did they that was there shouldn't have been They screwed it up.
40:19Jason Moore:I mean, they should have had six seconds. It's ridiculous.
40:22Mike Wright:I agree. It was a complete mismanagement of the situation. Kittle Bowers fanning. Kenyon Sadiq with the boss diving touchdown. And Juwan Johnson with two touchdowns in this one. Higby, eight for 62 and one with the stat line we expected from Ferguson. Went straight to Higby. He could be an interesting temporary start if we find out Ferguson can't play. The Sadiq breakout was very fun. He caught seven of eight targets, had 105. He had the touchdown, and that was on just 58 % of the routes. He still wasn't even a full-time player yet, so he will be a hot waiver commodity.
41:05Jason Moore:It's nice to see on an NFL field him 15 yards a catch over 100 yards, and a lot of that was just with the ball in his hands, running away from guys, which is what they hope they drafted when they spent that high of a draft pick. And they need him right now with some of the other injuries to their other wide receivers. He's going to be a hot pickup.
41:29Mike Wright:Yeah. Anybody else we need to talk about there? Are we going to circle back to the duds? I guess that's what we're doing. I mean, there are some important questions. We've got to answer them. Let's take a break. We'll do it in a minute.
41:44Mike Wright:All right, Foot Clan, whether you are on the go or at home, T-Mobile, well, they're built to keep you connected wherever you're scouting your fantasy team. And that on-the-go part, that is important. With America's Best Network, you'll be connected to the latest news and player projections. So when you're on the clock, you can draft a winning team. I can think of so many situations where that element of being connected while you're on the go is fundamental to fantasy football success. I'm in the midst of multiple leagues right now where I am responding to trade offers. We are massaging the trade offer.
42:15Mike Wright:We want to make sure that I'm the one that gets the player, not another player manager in our league. So trade offers, when you're on the go, all the news that's breaking so you don't make a mistake. And my favorite thing, maybe I'll mention it. Look, you're sitting and you have a quiet moment somewhere out and about. You want to jump in the UDK. We got the player profiles. You can watch all of those in there with T-Mobile. You can jump in on the player projections and our stat projections and all the 130 ,000 words of content. Again, T-Mobile making that easy to do. Every bit of news. Things are changing all the time.
42:47Mike Wright:New player contracts, all that good stuff. So from offseason to game day, every play is better with T-Mobile. What you got to do is visit T-Mobile.com slash network. Fastest is based on analysis by UKLA of speed test intelligence data of national speed score results for the second half of 2025. The best mobile network in the U.S. is based on analysis by Ookla of speed test intelligence data, second half of 2025.
43:13Jason Moore:If you're an NFL fan, ESPN is where you need to be this season. It's the biggest lineup they've ever put together. Monday Night Football, every week, every game on NFL Network. Now also available with an ESPN Unlimited plan. And for the first time ever, Super Bowl 61. on marquee matchups, MVP quarterbacks, international games, the whole season start to finish. Football's on ESPN.
43:47Jason Moore:Pooped in his big boy pants.
43:53Mike Wright:I don't know how to describe the quantity of poop, the size of the pants but drake may drake may did you see the clip that i saw this morning he was he was crying oh really i didn't see that he was crying on the sideline when mike rable had to come over and and console and console him like standing on the sideline this was in the third quarter i mean he looked he looks broken he looked distraught well is it because he was watching his play i mean He made some of the most boneheaded, ridiculous decisions.
44:34Jason Moore:A bad pass on a bad decision in the red zone. It's like, what's going on between the ears right now?
44:41Mike Wright:Mike Rabel, after the 35-6 loss, said, My concern level is very high for this football team. Okay. And then Drake May, according to Doug Kloss in tweeting the stat out, Drake May, nine fumbles, ten picks since the start of the postseason. He is the first player with nine fumbles and ten interceptions in a seven-game span since... Jameis? Jameis Winston. Since Jameis Winston during the 30 touchdown, 30 interception season.
45:03Jason Moore:He was playing like Jameis in the sense that balls that you should not throw, that you're taught in Pop Warner, you don't... If you're spun around, you just don't throw that ball into nothingness, and he's doing it. So the problem here is the Bo Nix we've gotten for the first handful of weeks has been pretty darn bad.
45:25Mike Wright:And then you had a confident player in the second half last night after some throws went his way. What makes Drake May special or could make him special is going to come alongside the confidence to make throws. And right now he has the least confidence possible because he's made multiple in-zone reads where he's throwing interceptions while he's on the run. I mean, he cost them a game because they were down three, and he threw away a ball in the end zone, and then in this game he did it again. He has been the quarterback 23, 25, and 30. He has the highest interception rate in the NFL. A.J. Brown is not coming back anytime soon.
46:00Mike Wright:He does not have the weapons that they need. For goodness sakes, Kayshawn Booty would have made a difference because he's not doing anything in Houston. It's been mismanaged through and through, and you're not even utilizing. I mean, Travion had an awful week. He was 2.9 a carry, 8 for 23, and he got one target. His success rate is very low. I mean, it's been abysmal through and through. When Matt Collins is a go-to receiver on your offense, I say all this to ask you the question and submit to you, is it time to actually drop the landmine? Yes. To say goodbye to Drake May, move forward with anybody else.
46:40Jason Moore:Well, not just anybody else, but there are plenty of good options, And I think it's fine to not just hold May on the bench, but to drop him. I believe good days are ahead for Drake May. If you want to hold on to him for when A.J. Brown returns and the schedule opens up, it's a tough matchup this next week on the road in Buffalo. Sure, there's going to be a high over-under. Maybe you can talk yourself into starting him, but I'm very skeptical that you're going to be happy. So, yeah, I think if you drop him right now, it's a landmine. Now, later on, you know, week seven, maybe you get A.J. Brown back then, and that's Chicago, Miami.
47:18Jason Moore:You've got Detroit a couple weeks after. So I do think there are bright days ahead, but I believe it's a month away. And so if you want to drop him and move on, you certainly can't. I would not be playing him. The hardest part is the bright days have to represent, like, top eight in the league.
47:34Mike Wright:Yeah. That's just a tough thing to picture right now, but maybe we get it with some better schedule situation. Herbert, I mean, come on, man. The Chargers. Come on, man.
47:47Jason Moore:They got off to a strong start and looked like, okay, the Chargers are here, and then they just Chargered all over.
47:53Mike Wright:The bottom five in EPA per play among all quarterbacks with 50 dropbacks this year. Dead last, Jameis Winston. Makes sense. I don't know why I didn't work a little pun into today since he might not be starting soon. Yeah. Aaron Rodgers, Baker Mayfield, Drake May, Justin Herbert. I mean, you can't lose a game where your defense turns the other team over five times. Correct. You can't do it. Can't do it. They're so cooked. And speaking of cooked, I mean, Hampton is going the wrong direction. Snap counts, 42 % for Hampton, 38 % for Mitchell, who is the more efficient runner in this one. Kamani Vidal, 25%.
48:33Mike Wright:75%. Silky smooth back. I don't like it. Yeah, I mean, this game. Saw the carries inside the 10.
48:42Jason Moore:This was also a game where I think there were very few snaps for the Chargers in the fourth. I want to say Hampton had like four, and it was about the same for Keaton Mitchell. So there weren't a lot of opportunities. He's still got 15 carries on the ground.
49:01Mike Wright:you're certainly not happy with three targets in three games is not the Mike McDaniel, A-chan script, he only ran six routes
49:11Jason Moore:yeah and that's the big issue, Keaton Mitchell has been involved in the receiving game in a way that you would hope especially the way that it looked in preseason, training camp and all that Vidal was right behind Keaton Mitchell, one fewer route Yeah, that Hampton would be involved in the passing game, and then Keaton Mitchell would be used kind of in two running back sets also in the passing game. But until they get Hampton involved in the receiving game, which might not happen. They're going to go to Seattle next week. It's going to be tough sledding. He's still a good – I mean, you brought up earlier the number of fast runs in the NFL.
49:52Jason Moore:He was top of the list there or like number five or whatever. Him and Mitchell were tight. Yeah, so he still looked good, I think, and they're still giving the ball to him enough. It's a tough matchup. Seattle, Denver, Kansas City the next three weeks.
50:06Mike Wright:I don't like a game in which they were leading for a lot of it where he gets 42 % of snaps. And, again, we said at the beginning of the year, the differentiator between, like, A-Chan and Hampton was like, well, A-Chan's going to be on a crap team. Hampton's going to be on a great team. Right. Great offense. Yeah. Nope. So, yeah, none of that conversation is to say you drop somebody like Hampton. goodness that's not the context of it you're gonna be starting him every week i mean this was a guy that was going back to back or ahead of kin kinbone in some drafts that's all and so it changed expectations bucky irving was 15 for 46 bucky irving did not play the final 15 snaps of this game he was seen with a heating pack on his back why do i know this i looked into it very detailed this morning yeah due to some transactions in our league of record there might have been a
50:52Jason Moore:bucky irving for devon h and trade for playing for the future playing for now um there may be
50:57Mike Wright:there may there might have been one of those and mike is how you feel about that mike do you want to let the people know what happened so because i would love to get some candid thoughts from from al borland and he's my favorite super league of record team suffered an unfortunate devon h and season-ending injury yeah that's we are a keeper league so the so like those guys moving forward they still have actually a good amount of value because look HN should be back by the beginning of next year assuming all of his surgeries and everything go well uh and you just you put up the bat signal it's like hey I got this guy um you know come trade for he's a great keeper he's a great keeper but I mean he's still not going to play for in your team if you trade for him and then Jason's like hey this Bucky Irving guy who's having a real strong start to the season.
51:48I'm just going to swap him just, you know, straight up for a very injured person. I'm not going to make you send a pick over or anything to help my team for next year. Get the camera off me.
52:01Mike Wright:See, it's equal opportunity. Equal opportunity support, Al. Sure. I mean, I thought I made a compelling point in our league chat, which was that like this player is far more valuable than a second round pick. Yeah, but are you 100 % sure he's better than Bucky Irving for next year? No, not 100. I mean, I would say that if these players are both healthy right now, there's a world Bucky has a better rest of the season. That's why this trade is – the trade with no draft picks is very weird. You had to pay zero tax to get bailed out. Well, what was amazing was that I had like – I put the bat signal out there, and then I went – and immediately my strategy, and I share this because it's a good strategy for people who want to make trades.
52:50Mike Wright:It's week three, right? Trust the fact that people are going to have different emotional states on these teams. I went immediately to look at the teams that were winless and make offers to all of them because for them, they're looking for the future. And they also, you know, if you're winless or you don't have a good record, you want change. That's just what you want. Now, Jason's a very future forward team completely. I went into this year already playing for 2027. But I would have looked at two and four teams or whatever the case may be, and they just want change. They want to feel like they're doing something.
53:20Mike Wright:So that's a general trade tip I would give people. It's like teams that you know are mentally unsettled by how the season has started, go target them for trades because they want to make trades.
53:30Jason Moore:I feel like what you're saying is that you think I'm mentally unsettled right now. You did give him CeeDee Lamb and Bucky Irving.
53:38Mike Wright:No, no, no. I wasn't saying you were at all. I was saying teams that are going to try to win but are 2-4 or 1-3.
53:44Jason Moore:Our league is so different in the sense of our keeper system and how teams come into each year. There was a reason why Andy last year, his super team, he got wet in the draft because he was the worst record last year.
53:57Mike Wright:I traded for Walker midway through the season and it paid off. I'm looking to be the 2027 super team. You're not at all the example I was talking about. I'm talking about a team that's actually trying to compete. You also got a bunch of picks, Jay. You didn't get any picks you could have extracted. it's week three and he and he knows it too he would have given you picks maybe no he definitely
54:15Jason Moore:would have gave you picks you never know the only issue is is in our league we have so many teams that are basically feeling like they're out of it playing for next year and so the question is and all colluding to help one team oh no one's colluding to help no one wants to have it do you agree with that statement jeremy i sure do of course jeremy's colluding to help me as soon as andy sends up the bat signal there's a line of people waiting to help listen the thing is so
54:42Mike Wright:weird people want to help themselves and i am happy to help them help them if he wanted to help himself he would have gotten a pick in the deal yeah but he wanted to be the first to market it's a race it is a race i mean he started the season bad and now he gets to come back from an acl so i get the demand i i i had i did have two people dm me after i made the trade and told me i should have waited because they were cooking up some offers for devon h in does that make you feel any better no they weren't you weren't one of those teams were you it doesn't surprise me that i mean the fact that what you're saying is you had three or four people fighting over the chance to help you and i'm not shocked um i you know what al is al has got some al is playing for
55:23Jason Moore:this year and he's very upset that andy's team looks significantly better and anytime that something helps Andy's team it will be a monster I basically I said this and this is a hundred percent true this is a thousand percent true if I did this exact trade with anyone else in the league of course no one would even bat an eye but the eyes are getting batted yeah it's because your your team is the super team that got hurt and so yeah and then you just fixed it for me uh
55:54Mike Wright:Travion Henderson Ramondre Stevenson both had awful weeks targets went Ramondre's way three versus one that we don't get this nobody understands this if you want to take advantage of anything Travion does space in the passing game would be part of it I don't know why they're
56:09Jason Moore:not involving him in the in the receiving game they need him out there in space so much I put
56:15Mike Wright:both guys on the field if it's a problem about pass blocking like if you're running to Mario Douglas around and Matt Collins around and Williams and these guys let Travion be a weapon and then jadarian price five for 15 got he fumbled again he got benched so this is going down down for jadarian right now and the team lost and the fumble played a big part it was what 33 31 i mean you cannot as a rookie come in what was it jameer gibbs that fumbled on his first play ever i think i think that was it uh maybe i know kareem hunt did yeah i mean you just can't do this as a rookie on a defending championship team if you want to establish a role and you go out there and you fumble two times it was james cook oh james cook that is what who it was but like you you can't do it they're going to give the ball to salami they're going to give the ball to somebody else we'll say though the metrics for jadarian price though uh among 39 qualifying running qualifying running backs he is 39th in epa per rush 32nd in rush success rate eighth in yards after contact like these are not you're fumbling and you're not i like the last one i don't like the other two uh malik neighbors what are we doing yeah this was a jamis winston it was it was it's also like we haven't seen neighbors be neighbors yet yeah but the so is he gonna be like jackson dart was perfectly healthy would we would we feel like that first week was enough for us to feel like he's the same dude or like changed expectations what is your thought on like rest of the season it's very difficult in terms of like that game the Giants versus Tennessee it was 12 to 7 and it was 12 to 7 not because like the defenses were just juggernauts stopping the other it was a storm again yeah like this was a this was a disgusting game that's why I think part of the like the JJ McCarthy trade I get it and I understand not wanting Jameis to be like you're everything's resting on james i mean oh man the ultimate goofball comments the uh well he's like we 12 we scored 12 points that's six times two is james the the sound bites from this week were fantastic but you can't that wasn't a real offense for either side of the football team just like the the chicago and minnesota game in week two you know this is not you need to throw that in the garbage this is so I don't actually know what Malik neighbors is with Jameis yeah I
58:47Jason Moore:was surprised that neighbors had five receptions in a game environment like that it was it was not good I think bright days are ahead for neighbors the quarterback needs to get figured out for it to be really good and I don't know if they've got I mean we might not have that answer exactly we cannot assume at this point that JJ McCarthy is just going to develop to become a good I can tell you the signups right now for next week's big dome meeting yeah people are signing up oh big
59:17Mike Wright:time you guys get a lot of new followers big time your socials are blowing up yeah big dome
59:22Jason Moore:yeah big dome we're having a meeting next usually this time of year we're not i know we're not doing
59:26Mike Wright:so quiet and people are like is getting on here on sunday live which hopefully you guys caught and he was like he's like why do i have to talk about weather in week three Freaking super El Nino. Get out of here. Two for 17 for Ted McMillan. That is a catastrophic line for a player that you drafted to be a top-tier guy. So we'll see if he can do it against Detroit. But I think Jalen Coker is kind of important to both guys. Jalen Waddell, we've got one bad, one good, one bad. For this huge comeback, it didn't involve him. Two for 10 for Jalen Waddell. where are you rest of the season? Like Jalen Waddle, rest of the season will be the wide receiver.
1:00:11He'll still be a top 20 guy. I think that the Rams, they're going to be a team that you're going to try to avoid. I think that their defense is that level.
1:00:23Jason Moore:Yeah, they traded for McDuffie. They're a very difficult matchup. I'm still pretty bullish on Waddle going forward. I would say, yeah, somewhere around wide receiver 15.
1:00:34Mike Wright:Jamison Williams through three weeks, four for 49 in this one. They got him involved early, and then they said no more. Nine targets, four targets, four targets. It was the Gibbs show. I mean, Amon Ra, by the way, Jason's green goblin pick for prize picks. They're supposed to be the layup. Before the episode, Jason comes in, and he's like, guys, I got a line today that feels like cheating. And I was like, oh, is it like when I had McCaffrey for like 16 receiving yards? Might be better than that. It was. It was Amon Ra for 32 yards.
1:01:09Jason Moore:All he needed was 32 yards.
1:01:11Mike Wright:He caught four passes. How many yards did he have? 19.
1:01:15Jason Moore:Here's some numbers for you. 56, 60, 161, 62, 73, 43, 193, 70, 60, 77. These all sound more than... Do they? Yeah. Oh, well, let me keep going. 45, 115, 77, 70, 100, 45, 86, 97, 58, 54. 149, 92, 164, 54, 68, 139. Let me get to this year. Those are the last two years. I think we got it. Yeah, 67, 142. Okay, we're going to keep going. Green Goblin of 33 yards, 19. Okay.
1:01:51Mike Wright:Oh, football. Emeka Abuka still can't get to double digits, and it's probably not going to get better with undrafted free agent quarterbacks for the next three weeks. Godwin has not a lot left right now and that team I was going to say the Buccaneers are are a team
1:02:07Jason Moore:that looks like you do not want a part of right now you're going to have a couple weeks without Baker we don't know if Bucky was injured I mean I know he was injured in the game but we don't know if it's anything serious but that team is right now three losses they haven't looked good and now they're without their quarterback. So you would imagine this team is probably going to start off at best like 1-5. And at that point your season is over. Speaking of seasons being over, Brian Thomas Jr.
1:02:41Mike Wright:Dude, speaking of careers. So Brian Thomas Jr.'s snap count dropped to 37%. Brian Thomas Jr. had one target for one catch for eight yards in a game in which there have been two games this year they've scored 35 points, 34 and 35. um nope it's not happening parker washington that is definitely happening dude's so good but i mean 37 snaps what what is this career ending i mean what is going on you got it the
1:03:09Jason Moore:jaguars have to trade him like they have to get something he feels like a trade candidate for sure and if i'm if i'm any other team out there in the league i'm i'm trying to trade for him this is a guy who is a rookie put up 1200 yards and 10 touchdowns and now it's like he's the worst like he is uninvolved completely in this offense btj was the harrison year right yes yeah so both
1:03:33Mike Wright:of those guys have gone from their best season is their rookie season yeah and then and then decline and then decline yeah even lad um neighbors too granted an injury but route routes wise it's jacoby it's parker it's brenton strange those are who was the other um it's not josh cameron Josh Cameron. He's only at 28 % of the routes. Yeah, but how much was his snap count, percentage-wise? Well, he had the same exact snaps as Brian Thomas. That's mind-blowing. Tucker Craft. Thomas was 47 % of the routes. It was a week for certain tight ends. These guys didn't get it done. Tucker Craft, Sam Laporta, Dalton Kincaid, Kyle Pitts, Isaiah Likely, and Mark Andrews.
1:04:19Mike Wright:It couldn't be more over for Andrews. that dude looks so slow and then he he's slow and he drops the ball constantly yeah he does and uh i mean kincaid it was it was disappointing he humbled two for 38 yeah the the bills were i mean they were throwing to catch up the whole game yes i i don't i don't think anyone was like great for the bills it was the the weirdness of we just talked on last week's show of you know coming off of the Thursday game where Josh Allen, how does anyone ever stop Josh Allen? This is the greatest player in football I've ever seen, but you know that people do. And then you go to the next week and it's the freaking Chargers are slow.
1:05:03They're slowing down Josh Allen and company. It's football is so weird.
1:05:08Jason Moore:James Cook had an okay game, but literally nobody else did.
1:05:12Mike Wright:Yeah, Cook was great.
1:05:13Jason Moore:DJ Moore didn't get to 10 points. Keon Coleman was four points Kincaid less than three points with the fumble it was just nothing
1:05:24Mike Wright:I would not be surprised those of you out there if you see Josh Allen not practicing this week there was a knee injury you can go and review it and then you can see the post game speech from Joe Brady when they got the W he was clearly limping in the locker room most medical analysts are considering this a contusion versus any type of MCL sprain or something like that which would be good but you could see limited practices and you could see limited running for a little bit if he's if he's banged up but yeah the Isaiah likely situation is unfortunate because that came I mean the number one guy that had the rapport with Jackson Dart in the offseason was Isaiah likely yeah again that was part of that crazy
1:06:05Jason Moore:bad weather game where you kind of have to throw that game out and that Minnesota Chicago game out I think it will be better for likely that one was that was a goose right that was very very bad the opportunity the need the Chargers are just absolutely broken the Chargers are it's like they have so many good pieces they've got a quarterback which is basically the only thing you need they've got a first round running back they've got two quality tackles they've got a a first round wide receiver in lad and their offense oh yeah yeah second round pick first is huge pick 34 first round pick but their offense scored 14 points in week one 14 points in week two and 16 points in week three seattle denver kansas city two or three on the road before the bye week
1:07:07Mike Wright:I would bet they're 0-6 Is Mike McDaniel
1:07:14Jason Moore:What is going on It's not just McDaniel, it's Harbaugh It's gotta be Harbaugh
1:07:18Mike Wright:Because last year they didn't I mean this is three straight years with Harbaugh Underwhelming It's a mystery Yeah I'm sorry Chargers fans It's not like we weren't rooting for you We like Ladd, we like Hampton Two of the guys are my guys based on the expectations for Mike McDaniel to do what he's done with these guys.
1:07:37Jason Moore:Yeah, the Chargers and the Patriots are the two teams that I feel like are broken right now. The bottom four scoring teams in the league, the Dolphins, yeah, okay, we saw that coming. The Titans, okay. Yeah, all that checks out. And then the Patriots and the Chargers. That one's more surprising.
1:08:00Mike Wright:Tampa's not far behind, and also Houston's 0-3. unbelievable. But yeah, I mean, Tampa is... I'm trying to look at their schedule because I want to be a fair-minded critic of different teams, not just the Chargers. Green Bay this week against Tampa. So that's a tale of two teams feeling the funk. And then at Dallas, then Pittsburgh. Oh, quick Green Bay note. Nothing has been said. This is all speculation. But there was a video of of Christian Watson on his last route. Yeah. And it definitely looks like a guy who pulled up and reached right for his hamstring. So Green Bay has. I wasn't sure how much you thought about that, Mike.
1:08:44Oh, I, it's very good. A guy who has hamstring problems. Yeah.
1:08:48Mike Wright:Grabbing his hamstring. Yeah. It was after the interception. Yeah. So last, again, nothing has been said publicly about it, but I'm just, I bring that up because tomorrow's waivers. And if you got Watson and you haven't like, Like they haven't said anything. You need to just be prepared for what you might have a Wednesday pop up and like, Oh, Christian Watson is not practicing. And just, you gotta, you gotta be in front of these things. Yeah. Yeah. All right. We're going to say goodbye for today. Back with waivers tomorrow.
