0:01I've got Natalie here on the Female Founder World Team. Nat, I've got pretty big news. tell me tickets for female founder world summit just went on sale yay okay i need to know though who are the speakers you know what i'll do you want better i'll tell you who we have speaking and i think i'll i'm also going to share how we get these speakers because they're really big names and they're people that are hard to rope in to speak at events and like just get involved in things in general because they're busy, successful women. And it's one of the questions I get a lot, like how do you get these big speakers at your events?

0:38So the one that I'm really excited about, one of the speakers I'm super, super excited about is Rhianne Silva. She is the founder of just, you know, a little old beauty business called Beauty Blender. That's that iconic fuchsia makeup sponge. I know you guys all know it. She's sold more than 50 million units of that. And she's just an iconic entrepreneur. With someone like that, I know that it's going to be a little bit trickier to get them to speak at an event because she is really busy and she has to travel to come to the event and it's a big ask for her. And so I have to start kind of planting the seeds and building that relationship literally a year, at least a year before, honestly.

1:22Some of these really big founders, their schedules are filled up a year in advance. And for example, like Emma agreed, her schedule a year in advance, it would not be crazy to kind of like pitch her that far ahead. So for Rhianne, like we started the conversation with her by having her on the podcast. And for me, I kind of want to have a really easy way to get people involved in the community so that I can prove to them that A, our community is really engaged. B, our community is really big. see our content is awesome and she's going to feel really proud to share all the cool stuff that we create from her engagement with us.

2:01And finally that she's reaching the kind of people that she wants to reach. So I had her on the show last year, I think maybe right at the beginning of this year. And in the back of my mind, I knew that it was with this, I'm going to ask her to speak at an event later in the year. And you want that to be summit because this is the biggest event of the year. After we had her on the podcast, I stayed in touch. And that was really just liking her stories on Instagram, maybe shooting her an email once or twice with something that is like super specific and relevant to her or our conversation, maybe feedback from the podcast and just building the relationship over the year.

2:39And she knows that when I invite her to this event, it's going to be a legit event and that she knows that it's going to be something that she wants to be part of. Another speaker I'm really excited about is Lo Bosworth from Love Wellness. I offered to incorporate their product in some way with the event, whether it's seeding in the gift bags or something else, and really try and think about what can we offer you in terms of exposure to our community. And I'll just really quickly call out a couple of the other speakers because they are so good. We have Karen Danajaya. She's the founder of Bloom, which is this amazing wellness supplement.

3:11The reason why I wanted to bring her in is because they've hit number one on Amazon in their category. She just launched in Whole Foods and she's such an amazing founder. Katie Storino, the founder of Mega Babe. So she's in Target, Alta, Walmart, Goop, Anthropologie, Nordstrom, like all of the ones. Laura Henshaw, my Australian listeners 100 % know who she is. She's the co-founder of Kik and one of the most beloved business owners in Australia, I would say. She's got a fitness community that has like two and a half million people in it. Her app has been downloaded 750 ,000 times. So impressive.

3:46And she's going to be in New York for the event. We've also got Melanie Mazarin from Gia. You know Gia, right? We love Gia. I always run around the city looking for Gia before an evening. We love Gia. We also have Cindy Ramirez, the founder of Chill House. We have Desiree Vadeo, the founder of Hyper Skin and so many more big ones that I haven't even announced yet. I am so excited for this. I also am so excited for everyone to see how awesome this venue is. I know. I feel like last year, you know, last year sold out pretty quickly and we had a great venue. I think we could fit like 500 in there.

4:20This year we've gone bigger. We're going to have 700 people. And I put tickets on sale as of recording this yesterday. And we have sold through like quite a lot of the tickets. And we haven't even sent out an email to our list. Like we haven't posted on TikTok. Like we're just getting started with the promotion. So I think Like if people want to come, I don't want to get – nothing makes me sad than getting the DMs. Oh, yeah. Like I saw that you're sold out. Can I get a ticket? And so, you know, if you're thinking about coming, please just please get the ticket because I don't want anyone who is in this community to miss out on the event.

4:53So we're going to have noteworthy speakers, an incredible venue, but what else are we going to do? This is Tequila Bar. Oh. It's a party. I want this to be the end of year holiday party for entrepreneurs. I feel like we often don't get celebrated in the same way that if you're like a corporate girl, you get celebrated at work. And so this is a space to like, yes, learn, meet people. This is the best community in the world for female founders. I truly believe that. And I want it to be a celebration and a place where we can get together and be like, yeah, we did it. Like whether or not you hit all your goals this year, I don't care.

5:26You're still here. I love that. I'm so excited. What else do we have that I can tell you about. We're building out a dedicated retail room, which is a space for founders who are interested in expanding their wholesale strategy to meet and connect. We have experts in there to help you on that topic. And we've also invited some really amazing indie stores and bigger retailers as well. And so there's the opportunity to also potentially connect with some stockists in that space. We have a money lounge, which is a space for you to learn and connect about funding, fundraising, personal finance as a founder, and meet with other business owners who are also interested in that topic.

6:09This is something I hear a lot. It's kind of like this shared experience that we all have. And I want to create these physical spaces for you to go and meet other people on the same journey, facing the same stuff with the same questions, and also have the experts and the connections that you need to know on these topics in those spaces for you. So you're not just wandering around this big conference, kind of hoping you'll run into someone by chance or wearing like weird name tags. We've made it more intentional and really clear about where to go if you want to connect with certain people. And I think that is going to be just a game changer for so many people at this event.

6:48I can't believe I'm still talking. There's just so much I want you all to know about what we have planned at this event, because it is unlike anything that we've ever done before. I mean, I have brought in literal MBA college professors who are going to be doing small group sessions. So, you know, I often say on the podcast, I ask founders who have an MBA, like, was it worth it? Did you actually need an MBA to run a business? And they most of the time like, no, but there are a few things that I really learned that I think were worthwhile. Come learn it at the event. Yeah, save your money. Save your money.

7:24Don't get an MBA. Come to Summit. But we didn't tell you to do that. I fully support higher education. Come and learn from these professors that we're going to have in the space as well. We're going to have breakout groups and ways for you to learn in a way that is going to feel very female founder world. So learning, celebration, connection. That's what this event's all about. Will there be goodie bags? I mean, oh my God, Nat. The goodie bags are so amazing. They're worth like five times the ticket price. Yeah, they really, they always hit. If you want to grab a ticket, I'm going to put a link in the show notes for everyone or head to femalefounderworld.com.

8:01You'll see a link on the site right there to get your Female Founder World Summit tickets. This is our biggest and best event of the year. And I cannot wait to see you all in New York City on the 2nd of November.
