Yeah, I don't wear sunscreen. Yeah. I work outside all day.

2:04Is it 28? You're two years younger than me? Yeah, dude, you're going to age. Oh, yeah. Can we talk about that? You're going to age. Oh, I know. Trust me. I'm in the sun all day. And you said, what's the city you're from? Biloxi, Mississippi. Biloxi, Mississippi. I don't know it. Mississippi not a high cost of living state by any means. So I'm very curious to see what kind of income you got. What do you do for a living? I am a mailman for the post office. Okay. Freedom. We love it. America. Roo-roo. It's not too bad. Sure. What do you make? About$27 an hour. Mm-hmm. In Biloxi, how does that stretch?

2:41How are you feeling? It's not too bad if I was a little more responsible, but, you know, YOLO. YOLO? Yeah. I just like to live it, live my life. We're going back 10 years ago. YOLO. Okay. Wow. Sure. It was big when you were 18. Yeah. You're really holding out of those high school days where you peaked, right? Oh, yeah. Sorry. I don't know. Okay. So what hits your account per paycheck? On average, I'd say about$1 ,500. Depends on if I work overtime. Is that every other week? Every two weeks. We're bi-weekly. $1 ,500. Bi-weekly. Yes, sir. You said if overtime? If I work. All funds overtime. Is that normal?

3:21$1 ,500 is the normal, though. It's about average. It's normal. Good. It was more consistent, but I actually recently took myself off the overtime list. I don't work overtime anymore. Okay. So what is your account now? About$1 ,500. Okay. Sometimes I'm forced. Sometimes I'm forced. What was it? About$18 to$19. People want their mail. Why are you going down? Well, my wife just left for the military, and I have a four-year-old. How old's your wife? She's 27. What does she do? She just rejoined the military in the army. Doing what? She can't tell me. She has to go to training. She just left for training.

3:54Sure she's not f***ing someone else. Oh, yeah. I hope not. She might be.

4:03That is a common thing. She comes home in a good mood. I'll look the other way.

4:14why is she doing this like i love that signing up and serving great we love it we we love the armed forces we need people protecting the united states this is good you really don't hear them signing up 10 years after when people usually sign up well she was in the national guard and then when we had our kids she got out and she says it's because i've put us in a financial hole you know? So she signs up for the army? Yeah, well, she could go right back in. But to get away from you. Well, she could keep her rank, and so she gets paid more. She was serving sushi, and she had some old ladies giving her crap about yum yum sauce.

4:48Was she going to go serve in Japan? I hope so. I hope so. Okay. Because I would love to move to Japan. Oh, you're going to follow? We are, my kid and I, as soon as she gets stationed somewhere, we're going to up and move. What the f***? This is, oh, when is she stationed? We don't know. Yeah, what if it's Afghanistan? I don't think we're there anymore. No, no, no, no, no. Not going there. I hope it's... So you won't follow if it is Iraq. I think we're a little there still. I might back out at that point. Oh, the marriage or... I'm hoping for more Japan. No, not the marriage. Just the moving part.

5:20And she'll be there for... Is she doing the standard three-year cycle? I think she's on for four now. Wait, what's the intent of this? I'm so confused. Again, I still don't hear people signing up. You're at that age, typically. She was in. She had the opportunity to get back in and keep her rank. So she doesn't have to start over. So what income is that going to come with then? She's roughly. She's never going to try to translate to civilian life? Like I was confused. Her plan is to go in for occupational therapy assistant. They pay for all her school and then it can transfer. When she gets out, she can do it privately.

5:51Civilian life. Yeah, but with the National Guard, did she not already have school paid for? No, it was. Well, she would have school paid for, but they train her. So she would have to go to college. If she was in National Guard here, they send her straight to the training and they pay her like a salary while she's in school. So instead of having to be in school and work and be a weekend warrior on the National Guard, then she'll be in there full time. And it's in Texas somewhere. I just, I don't know where. But after service? After she wants to transfer it to a civilian. No, when is she doing the schooling?

6:22In service? She just left a couple weeks ago. For... Yeah, like she's in her service and they pay her to be in school. So what is she going to be doing in service? Right now, just school. Like, that's her whole thing. And then when she gets that, if she deploys, it'll be a medical setting. And it won't be like, she won't be in like a combat zone. She'll be more like in a hospital helping people with like rehab and stuff. Okay. I like that. That's nice. Yeah. But you're saying she felt pushed to go because you f***ed up? That's what she tells me when we argue about money. She'll tell me. Maybe she should be here with you, honestly.

6:59I tell her, I'm like, are you sure you're not trying to catch a break from us, you know, for a little bit? But no, she said. Honestly, maybe. She might. Yeah, she might. But, you know. So sorry, I've interrupted a couple times. What income is she going to be making then? It should be around$5 ,500 a month with her housing allowance. When does that kick it? Oh, with housing allowance. But after the housing allowance is put towards housing, what's going to be hitting? I think it's around$4 ,000. She just left. Okay, and you guys have joined finances. We haven't conjoined yet. So is that four even going to go to the household?

7:31How is this going to look? It will? What's the household? You don't have joint. I'm confused. Well, we kind of just send it back and forth between each other. She pays the power bill address to her card. I pay the car payments. She'll pay this. I pay that. Who pays rent? The big one. The chunk. I don't have rent. I have a mortgage. Who pays the mortgage? And you're going to leave to go be stationed for four years? If I do, my dad's going to rent my house from me. Build my equity for me. Pay the bills. Why would your dad do that? Until I'm ready. Because he lives in an apartment with his mom right now, and he's looking.

8:04She has some health issues, so he moved in to help her out. Okay. But she's going to have to go to a care facility, so he's looking to get an apartment. He's actually going to move in with me for a little bit now that she's gone until we leave, and then he'll take over everything. I don't want to get rid of my house yet. I'm not suggesting so necessarily, but you're going to be gone for a bit, and you're going to be landlording, and landlording with family especially She gets very awkward very quick. How long have you guys been together? Six years. Married for? Since May, June. Yeah, we had a courthouse wedding.

8:36And she's immediately leaving. Well, yeah, we had to get married because, so I can get all the military benefits. We didn't want to pay for a wedding, you know. It's expensive. Yeah. This episode is brought to you by State Farm. Listening to this podcast? Smart move. Being financially savvy? Smart move. Another smart move? Having State Farm help you create a competitive price when you choose to bundle home and auto. Bundling, just another way to save with a personal price plan. Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there. Prices are based on rating plans that vary by state. Coverage options are selected by the customer.

9:11Availability, amount of discounts and savings, and eligibility vary by state. Okay. Okay. Very, okay. Okay. So, I don't, the finances I'm looking at today, does that include hers? No, this is all just true. So how do I even incorporate her four into this? She has no debt. Can I? She has no debt. Yeah, but she has accounts including spending, so I don't know how to incorporate her$4 ,000 into this, especially since you guys aren't joint. Hmm. Yeah, I mean, I had talked about... Really? No conversation around this? I mean, what have you guys talked about when it comes to her four? I asked her if she wanted to make a joint account before she left, and she was like, you know, She likes kind of how that setup we have now kind of works, you know.

10:00For her? To protect her, I have a feeling. Is she on the mortgage? Yes, she is. We're both on it. When did you guys get this house? September of 2021. It was a little crazy back then. Why? Oh, the housing market? Yeah, the housing market was insane. Okay. I'm just, I'm confused. Is she trying to have any kind of independence to protect herself? Like, because it sounds like you guys got married before you're ready to get married. or you only got it for benefits? We were never really too concerned with the whole marriage aspect. You know, my kid's four. We've been together a while. It was a four-year-old.

10:35Yes, I have a four-year-old. Okay. So, you know, I have insurance through my job. It's a little pricey. Insurance. That's our biggest concern out of everything? Well, no, it's just one of the perks of her getting back in. There's a lot of ups and there's a lot of downs. Yeah, but you guys getting married but not going joint. Yeah, we need to. Why doesn't she want to go joint? What does she say? She just says I spend too much money. and I have too much debt. So she doesn't trust you? Financially, probably not. Then why are we married? Well, for the benefits. But you guys weren't ready. I mean, we love each other.

11:03Loving isn't everything. Well, finances is one of the leading causes for divorce in this country. Oh, yeah, I've heard. She gets on to me. She gets to tell me about that. She gets on you. What? Tell me. I told her if she had came here with me today, she'd probably sit on that side with you because she gets on me. Very good. Now tell me what that's actually like. Like, so, like, my big thing is eating out. I have a weakness to eating out. And so I'll, you know, I'll get off work. I'll grab me some McDonald's on the way home, right? Oh, yeah. You spend eating out. Oh, yeah. So, like, it's like my stress thing.

11:35It's like, oh, McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, chills me out, you know? It's kind of, instead of, like, a cigarette, I get a McDouble, you know? And so, and then, like, I'll come home and she'll be like, oh, did you go out to eat? And I'll be like, mmm. And then she's like, you don't need to go out to eat. You spend too much damn money eating out. Well, yeah. Is she cooking? Are you cooking? How would that work? I don't like cooking. Who's supposed to cook? We don't have an oven right now. We have the stovetop, but we got struck by lightning a couple months ago, and it fried the oven. And so, like, the ECM of the computer.

12:09No insurance to cover? No, I don't have any insurance for stuff like that. Okay. Yeah, that's usually extra layers. Okay, what do I have a note here, though? that I was like, listen, I go in blind with the audience, and this is the get to know you section, and I usually decide whether right now if I hate you or like you, and I usually like you, but I'm usually also annoyed. So, and that's normal, but I usually like the guests. And I was like, okay, so what's this episode about? So I look over my screen. I have a note from you, essentially, I guess in your application or whatever. You rated your kid's savings so you could go on vacation, and you don't regret it.

12:45What the f*** is that? because that's going to make me hate you real quick. No, I understand. I figured I valued building memories with him and stuff, taking him experiences. It was worth it. Rated? Yeah, I figured, you know, I took him to New York four times in the last year. Disney World, the Bahamas. What the f***? Houston. What the f*** with her? Atlanta. Yeah, she went. What's the rated? Like, I used it all. How much was there in your kid savings? Your kid's savings. My savings for him was probably$8 ,000 to$10 ,000. What the fuck? For your four-year-old. Yeah, well, I ran it up. For your four-year-old.

13:25I ran it up on my credit cards and then. Ran what up? Those trips? The trips expenses. I was like, well, I don't want to pay interest. I figured. I don't want to pay interest, so let me take for my kid's future? Well, yeah. What the fuck? He's like a 0 % loan. So you owe it back in your mind, which I get. What was it sitting in? What was the savings sitting in? Capital One savings account. So just a regular old savings account. Okay, so it should have been accruing in some kind of like more education-focused savings account, tax-free, by the way. Yeah, I haven't set one up for him yet. Great. I need to.

13:58Love that, being a parent. And the wife's opinion on this? She doesn't approve. I really didn't ask for her permission before I did it. I figured he's three, four now. He won't know. he might one day but by then I plan to have him paid back yeah 10 ,000 in 14 years yeah hopefully sooner than that hopefully sooner than that yeah doesn't sound I'm gonna get around to it will you because you racked up credit cards to go on vacation then took from his savings and then ran them right back up of course you do

14:40Bro, what the f***? What the actual f***? So you did it without asking? Yeah, because she has her own account for him. I'm not sure what's in it. Probably shouldn't know. Why is it her mind for everything, including for our kid? That's so weird. You guys' dynamic is so weird. I used to put him some to the side back then, but as my debt got higher and higher, my expenses got higher, I quit doing that. And then I was like, oh, I don't want to pay all this interest. We had a good time. I get why? I think it was worth it. But this wasn't, like, you set this aside. I know technically you did it, but it was for your kid.

15:13And the way I separate that is it's no longer your money. Yeah, we just actually, I just took him like four weeks ago to New York again. He had him, uh, he likes to ask to go and we were gone. The four-year-old's like, can we go to New York right now? He actually does say that. Yeah, because you've, I've put it in his head, yeah. Well, yeah, four times this year. We're not even in Q3, four yet. Yeah. That's where we like to go.

15:47And now he feels some kind of, like, entitlement? Yeah. In a way? Not an entitlement, but, like, when kids ask to go to McDonald's, he has to go to New York? Yeah, he's always asking, when are we going to New York? And then, you know, I was actually— Oh, he's asking four times in one year. Well, I was actually supposed to come on during that time, but I pushed it back with Lindsey because I was going to New York. Okay. So you saved up how much into that savings account? Originally, it was close to$10 ,000. And how'd you save that up? Well, I didn't save it all. A lot of it was like birthday money from family, friends.

16:22A lot of it was mine. A lot of it wasn't. Dude, it wasn't even from you. Not all of it. It wasn't even from you. It was from family? Giving it as birth? Do they know? Yeah, some of them. And what do they think? What did they possibly think, guy? This is insane. This is disgusting. They didn't disagree because they thought I was going to pay him back immediately, but I let my - Pay who back? The savings account? Let my - pay my son right back. But how could you do that? Pay your son back. Do you hear that? You're paying a four-year-old back. Do you hear that? Yeah. What the f***? I only get - he's only little for so long.

16:54I want to go out there and build the memories, the experiences. He's a year into forming memories. I can pay him back later. But even still, ah, trip to New York. once a year is great. I have great memories with my parents and we did everything on the cheap. It was going to a campground in a tent that was like 20 minutes away. That's what we did. And I have good memories. You don't have to go balls to the wall four times in one year plus Orlando and bullshitting craziness. Yeah, we did go on a two week vacation last year. It's been right under a year. Dude, this is insane. And I don't even know if he was able to have memories at that point.

17:27You're going to have pictures. But again, let's just pretend you did New York once this year. Okay, maybe. I mean, I would probably say, yeah, you probably shouldn't, but I wouldn't be freaking the f*** out. Four times in one year, probably five by year's end. Yeah, well, we had originally, we were just going on a cruise. And well, then I was like, you know what? Wait, you're on vacation once a month? Well, then it was a cruise. So then I was like, you know what? I got a few extra days off. Let's go to Disney since we're going to be down there anyway. U.S. Postal Service. Stop giving days off literally for everyone just so he stops f***ing up his child's life.

17:59Yeah. there's a limit to how many people can be off. So if four people are off, I can't take off. And it's pretty booked the rest of the year. Dude, how many days have you taken off this year? I get like 120 hours up front in January. And then I get my sick leave on the side. You're taking it all? I have about 40 left. What are you going to do? 40, well, 40 hours. 40 hours left. So a week? It's about a week. I'm going to try to roll it over, but we may go see his mom some. Depends on where she's. His mom's son? His mom. My wife. This. My wife, Oksana. She's a boy. Oh, yeah, where is she? She's somewhere in Texas.

18:35I don't know the name of the town. You're in Texas right now, and you don't know where she is. She's about... You could be literally close to her. She's about four hours past Dallas. In what direction? There's a... West. Four. I looked at it on a map one time, but I don't know the name of it. Some military base. How much do you guys want to bet it's Killeen? Could be. Real close to us. I'm not sure. She said she's... You're not going to visit while here. No. I'm going back tonight. I didn't want to spend money on a hotel room, so. Oh, yes, of course. Yeah, now we're going to not spend money. Oh, wow.

19:09You literally asked Colton to postpone coming today because you saw we were moving to New York, so you just wanted to go film in New York with him. Oh, yeah. What is your obsession with New York? Like, I'm excited to go there, too, but this is insane. Have you ever been to Mississippi and then go somewhere like New York? You'd understand. Oh, why would I ever go into Mississippi? Well, that's fair. I understand. So maybe don't be in Mississippi. You have that freedom. We got 50 states to choose from. Well, it's so cheap to live there, and I get paid the same regardless. Yeah, but usually cost a living follows.

19:37No, not for us. Okay, get a better job. Yeah, I need one. Well, maybe. Maybe not. I would like to. Fuck so lucky. Yeah, I get a raise every 46 weeks. So I'll try to look in the future with that and say, oh, the pay will be good one day. Yeah, I mean, no, people can have good careers at the postal services, and there's good benefits and whatnot, but, I mean, you're literally stealing from your child. So I don't think that's what I'm caring about. You stole$10 ,000 that you didn't even contribute to your kids so that you can go on vacation. Yeah, we were actually talking about when she gets a break in a few weeks, maybe next month.

20:09We were actually talking about using the money we get from here and going to New York again. The reimbursement that covers your travel. That's the word I was looking for. That covers your travel to get here. Yes, that's why I went so cheap today so that we could use it to go back to New York. You're going a fifth time this year. Yes, I would like to get a Christmas. What have you put the savings down to? My savings, I put$1 ,000 in there. No, his savings. His savings, oh, it says zero. So the reimbursement that is a flat rate, because, you know, some people, we just don't want people to abuse it, is meant for people like you that are traveling in to cover the full cost.

20:45Yes. And you're just going to go to New York with it, which, by the way, you're probably going to spend more money anyway? Yeah, but who else gets the chance Or a severely discounted New York trip. Discounted, meaning you're still spending money that you do not have. Well, you have not contributed back to your kid savings account. Let's do a little bit of math. Do you know what the kid... This is so stupid. Why would you do this? That's so selfish. I would never... Dude, this is one of the more... Can I be honest? One of the more disgusting things I think I've seen. If this was just in the overall market, in the market these days, I mean, we're more compounding in the last few decades, like almost 13%, but I'll do 10%.

21:23Let's talk S &P 500. you know, since it's started, since it's, you know, until today. Don't even put anything else in it. The kid going up to 18 where he could use it as a college fund or pull it, pay a little bit of taxes and start a business or down payment on a house or, you know, start his life in a really strong way. So that's going to be in 14 years,$10 ,000, 10%. That would have been$40 ,000. There you go. Boom. That's the cost of college right there. That's the cost of real good college. Yeah. I actually had$40 ,000. That's what I borrowed for college. Yeah. I had a Roth IRA to grow in the market, but I cashed it out to pay for debt from going to New York.

21:59Debt to New York? How does everything stem from going to New York with you? I like to travel. I like to travel. You like to travel to New York. Yes, that's my favorite place to go right now. Yeah, I mean, it's the biggest city in the country. I get it. I'm sure it's fun. It's such a lifestyle shift. It's a lifestyle shift. And for some reason, we don't build other places like that in the United States. I really don't understand. Oh, yeah, I wish. I'll never have that in Mississippi. Every time I come back, it's just like... No offense to Mississippi, but that's not the place to... If I'm not mistaken, Alabama's not great, but don't they usually lead analytically compared to Mississippi?

I guess I'd be traveling too, but you could be road tripping to Florida and stuff.

24:35Road tripping to New Orleans. Usually when we go to New Orleans a lot, we're actually going tomorrow for a family day. My mom, me. This is not a day he is. Do you work? I do. Do you? I took off. How much have you spent on vacation this year? Do you even know? Oh, if I had added up, I'd probably say north of$15 ,000. Usually all debt. No, not all debt. You took$10 ,000 out for your... Yeah, well, that was for a different vacation. That was for the two-week vacation. I'm just trying to make memories. That's wonderful. I treasure his younger years. Yes, I would too. You're going to treasure every year.

25:13You're going to want to make more memories when he's older too, and he can do more. The thing is, what the fuck is the kid doing in New York anyway? I push him around in a stroller. He likes to go play. He likes the buildings. He likes to fly on the airplane. He finds it exciting. To fly on the airplane, then fly. I'm sure he likes that we eat out too. You can eat out anywhere. You can fly anywhere. There are buildings in other places. Chicago's 10 times cheaper. Chicago's actually one of the ones that's on the future list. We want to do New York during Christmas vibe, you know, maybe after Thanksgiving.

25:46So get that little Christmas vibe. We'll do a follow-up with him there. Yes. an early follow up. I look forward to it. And we'll see how many times he's been in New York since then. Let me guess. It'll be like three more times by year's end at this rate. This is insane. I hope so. TSP deposit. Oh, yes. I took a TSP loan. TSP is my retirement to pay for debt from going to New York. It always stops. We are not able to have a conversational topic here without going to New York. That's kind of been my thing for the last year. And I kind of let it get away from me. Why don't you guys just move there?

26:21If I could afford to, I would. You could afford to live in an outer borough? Yeah, but I went to Queens. If I'm going to be in New York, I want to be in Manhattan. Well, yeah, build up your career and do that. Yeah, but my pay is set, so I know. No, you would have to switch jobs. Yeah, I would definitely have to switch jobs. Yeah, I just, I don't know. Like, if I go to New York, I don't want to have to live somewhere like Queens or the Bronx. I want to live nice, you know. Big apartment up in the sky, look out over Central Park. Very good. Yeah. Because unless you build an incredible resume and then switch them, but I don't think you have any incentive to switch from your current job where you are.

26:57So it's like, I don't think you're going to be doing anything. And it sounds like that's kind of the lifestyle you wish you had anyway. Yeah. So you have to sacrifice grind and then build up to that. And you don't get there by stealing from your child. Barring. Buddy. You haven't put anything back. I don't want to f***ing hear it. Is there an interest rate? Does the kid know about the loan? Oh, no. Does the kid know about the loan? Has he put an interest rate on it? Because he should. No, I figured he was zero percent. Right now he's losing 10 percent that it should be going into the market, getting to about $40 ,000 by the time he heads off to college.

27:27Yeah. Okay. I'll throw him a little interest there at the end. No, no, I don't believe you. I don't believe you because, because here's the thing. You borrow from your retirement to pay off debt, build it all the way back up. You do a debt consolidation or whatever, build it all the way back up, take from your kid, build it all the way back up. There is no way in any way whatsoever you'd be able to give him interest or more if you even pay back at all because all you're doing is endlessly trying you're just quadrupling your debt endlessly because you always transfer somewhere else and then build up the original debt meaning you're endlessly doubling how much debt you have it okay great so payroll um was this her payroll too because this shit no if that's august august was a unique month it was a three paycheck month and i got back pay oh wow okay so even still with 7800 coming in which normally Again, we're about three, but okay.

28:15That's wonderful. What was the outflow? Everything going out. I put some of it towards my dad. What was the outflow? All of it. What was the outflow? I probably spent... 28:56Yes,$10 ,000. So an incredibly strong$7 ,854 came in via income. $14 ,554 was the outflow. $14 ,000. We still doubled it somehow. You had an incredible pay month and you doubled it and you didn't even pay back your kid. Wow. What a joke. I did not realize it was$14 ,000. That's crazy. Wow. So what have you done? What have you done to try to fix this? By the way, I know the answer because that's a leading question as I was typed the answer. So you better tell me. Well, I used the back pay towards a little bit of debt. What action? Action. I've been working on trying to not eat out as much That's really my thing It's not going so well That's kind of my I drive by a Chick-fil-A Or a McDonald's I'm from Mississippi We're not known for our skinniness So I drive by a Chick-fil-A You're not fat I'm pretty big I'm like 210 pounds Stand up and give us a spin I'm hiding it from the Okay Okay.

30:01Well, it's just because I'm fatter. I could probably wear a bra. You hold it well in your face. Yeah, my face is very round. I used to be really skinny, but no. Everyone did. All these eating out and then having the kid. Well, here's the answer. Yeah, you weren't the one that got pregnant. Here's the answer. You begged your friend to make a budget for you. I did. He and he did, and I did not apply any of it. Exactly. Well, it was so many. So what the f*** would I do? I'll tell you. Of course, it could be using the budgeting app. However, he downloaded DollarWise as well. And then when he saw it, it costs money, which by the way, every budgeting app does because every single account you connect costs us money.

30:39So we're not going to literally lose money off of something that we spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to build. So yes, if you pay a service that saves you hundreds of dollars a year, yes, I think it's fair to give a little bit of money. Okay, but either way, there's a free trial, DollarWise.com, to see if you like it anyway. Did you even do that? And then he immediately deleted it. He didn't use the budget that his friend built for him. What the f*** can I do? You are a person that steals from your kid. That's not something I can change. You're a thief in the night. I just try to take him on.

31:09I want him to have a good childhood, you know? I think I'll pay him back one day. We'll get there. No, no. Eventually. And what here would suggest that you would for me to believe you? You spent double what came in. Double! Well, I want to do better. Oh, good. That's why I'm here. Shut the fuck up. Get your teeth straight. That's why you're here. You want to do better. I want to do a lot of things. That doesn't mean I'm doing them. You actually have to do in the action. You have to put in the behavior. You have to put in the discipline. I want to do a lot of things. Okay? Want is nothing. Yeah.

31:48It is the action. It's the actually putting in the step. Putting in a plan. Putting in steps along the way that you must execute. Well, I tend to do better with like a deadline. So I figured if I came on here, maybe it would kick me into gear, you know? Give me a little—I severely lack discipline. But if I know there's a follow-up in like six months, I might be more motivated to do better. Follow-up by end of year in New York. Well, yeah. Maybe I can make it work. Try to budget in the New York trip. We reimburse that as well. You f— Well, good to know. But you can also zoom in. Oh, well, that's not as exciting.

32:22No, it's not. But there's a deadline. You wanted a deadline? There it is. before the end of the year. Yeah. I'm giving you three months from now. Yeah. Another reason I want to do better, you know, like we got our back pay a couple weeks ago. You know, we case mail in the morning and we all talk to each other. Well, some people are like, oh, I'm going on vacation here. Oh, very good. I'm putting this in this investment account. I'm buying this and I'm over here thinking, oh, I just got to put it towards debt. And I'm like, you know what? This isn't fun, you know? You're right about this put towards debt, but he just literally borrowed from his retirement.

32:56Like, what towards debt are we talking about? Are you obsessed with comparing yourself to your coworkers, especially Mississippi coworkers? I just felt left out, you know? Like, everybody's over here getting this extra money, going to have fun, and I've already had my fun, and now it's time to pay for it. Yes. So I put some of it towards debt, save some of the rest to go towards. Don't you want to go live that life, though? Eventually. Because it takes a long time to be, well, it doesn't have to, depending on, well, what's your debt situation? How much debt do you have outside of the mortgage?

33:23If I had a guess, I'd say roughly. We don't even have the mortgage. Did you say there's a mortgage? We didn't have the mortgage. I couldn't get into my account to pull the statement. How much debt do you have outside of your mortgage? Outside of the mortgage, including cars, I'd say close to$90 ,000. Maybe a little more, give or take. That's$70 ,000. Well, I have two car loans. Something tells me we probably don't have all the debt. Oops. The two car loans. Between the two car loans, the TSP loan, the other personal loan, I got to pay off debt, and my credit cards. I'd probably say I'm around$80 ,000.

33:52Dude, you should be living a good life. You and your wife combined should be living a good life right now. And now she's just going away to try to bail out the family, which makes no sense because you've tried to bail yourself out multiple times with consolidations, pulling from retirement, all that good stuff, credit card transfers, taking from your kid, and then you still built up all your debt again. So what's the point of her even doing this? Because your behavior hasn't changed. So if she goes and makes more money, gets benefits, it doesn't actually impact anything because when more money comes in, you're just going to spend it and increase your debt limits because the debt to income for the household looks better.

34:23like the point of her doing this she thinks she's doing a big thing and she is but she doesn't understand that it's actually not going to fix the root problem want to know a dirty little secret and no i'm not starting an only you're not broke because you suck with money you just can't see where it's going if your bank account is empty at the end of every month that is not bad luck that is bad tracking and it's exactly why i use dollar wise it shows you exactly where your money going every single month spending subscriptions and savings all in one simple dashboard everything you need and nothing you don't and when you download dollar wise today you'll get to try it for free plus three months for just 9.99 so you can finally take control and see what your money's been doing behind your back click below to get started yeah she's been really getting on to me for that she we were arguing the other day and she was telling me like she has to leave her son and leave us and our dog to try to help me get out of this one.

35:21I need to. This is like, what the f***? She sounds like she's just being traumatized right now. Yeah, she's... By you! Yeah. How often is she down? Because of you. Is she just, like, down mood? Yes. Oh, probably every day. We argue about something. She's always in a bad mood. I've kind of grown a little used to it, so it doesn't faze me too much, but, you know. She says I stress her out. Wow, and there's going to be lots of longevity in this relationship, isn't there? I hope so. It really screams. Distance makes the heart grow fonder. Or it makes her realize that she's happier. Yeah, that could happen too.

36:05I hope not, but it could. Why the f*** did she marry? I'm so confused. If she's literally down every single day, I feel like she's settled. Come on, be honest. Okay. This is going to be a brutal question, but try to answer from the bottom of your heart and from the bottom of your brain. Hit me with it. Do you think she's actually sticking around just because of the kids? The kid. Potentially. I feel like she does care about me and she wants me to do better. I'm sure she has care. But she says she's running out of energy. Yes. She said the day she quits yelling at me is the day that I should worry.

36:37She yells at you every day. Well, she did. She's been gone for a couple weeks now. I can't talk to her as much. It's more her talking to the kid on FaceTime.

36:50dude that's crazy yeah that is crazy the day i'm not you you have to be worried meaning she yells at you every day meaning this relationship's and she is sticking around just for the kid and i'm not saying she doesn't love you she probably cares for you but loving someone doesn't mean you're going to be there forever because that she has to love herself as well and she's probably She's like, this relationship's pushing her over the edge. And she might be better off alone. I don't want to see you guys break up, especially with a kid being in the household. I really don't. I want you to change this and it get better.

37:22But I wouldn't be surprised if she would be better off right now if you weren't there. Yeah, she says the same thing sometimes. She also gets hold of me for my weight. In your response to all that. Well, like I said, I kind of just push it out, you know. I get real anxious about a lot of things. And so when we're arguing, I get stressed out. And I'm just like, you know, yeah. Me and the kid will go visit my grandparents. We'll go hang out. We'll go do something, you know. Let her cool off. Come back. She's in a better mood. Dude, this is the least. This is so unhealthy. Do you not know how unhealthy that is?

37:55Yeah. You know, she's a Vietnamese. You know, they're a little feisty. So I figured that's just how she is. I know she wants me to do better. It's just Vietnamese. Was she born here? Yes, she's from here. Her parents aren't. We met serving sushi together at a Japanese restaurant. It's like seven years ago. It's romantic. And I'm sure she regrets every day since. Yeah. She might. This kid. She loves him. Yeah, I love him too. I want to do right by him. Can you see a picture of her? Of her? Yeah, not the kid. I got pictures of my dog and my kid. Let me see. But you don't have pictures of her. I got something here somewhere.

38:43She doesn't post. She doesn't do social media very much. You can see her in my profile picture, though.

38:52That was in the Bahamas last year. She's a cutie. I don't understand. I don't understand what the f*** she's doing. She's very, very fit. Very into her fitness. That's why she gets told me about my weight so much. But, you know, I eat a lot, so. Do you listen to her about anything? Like, what the f*** is this dynamic? Like, she probably feels like she's talking to a brick wall. Yes, she has said that. I know, but, you know, I'll feel motivated for a couple days, and then it's just, like, back to my normal habits. And she just, it's like a never-ending circle. She just gets on me. Dude, but that's not good.

39:27That's not good. And listen, I'm not saying, like, every time a spouse has an issue with a spouse, they're 100 % right. Obviously not. There are things where it's just, like, opinion-based whatnot. But it sounds like you're not changing literally anything. And she's definitely valid in the financial conversation. Well, you know. And you stole from your kid. That is not something you should get over here. Borrowed. Long term borrow. Borrowing from a kid is also disgusting. Yeah, I understand. From a four-year-old, that's disgusting. Yeah. Well, she, you know, she left. You know, I told you I do a little better with deadlines.

39:56So she's like, I want you to get this debt done by the time you're 30. Because we don't know exactly when we can move to her and everything. So, you know. It's a beautiful family. I'm trying to do better. It's a beautiful family. You're guys' kid. This is what people dream of. This is beautiful. And you're f***ing it. You're destroying the whole thing. I want to do better. You're destroying the whole thing. We'll put that picture in the video with their faces either blurred or not blurred, depending on the consent that we get after we film. But just the picture itself. It's just like you have something beautiful, and you're destroying it.

40:29You're f***ing them over in a selfish, disgusting way. How much did you spend going out to eat last month? $700? $750? Well, last month, well, New York would be in there. I would say$1 ,200. $1 ,214.01. Oh. Oh. Who me? Yeah. Eating out's my thing. That's insane! I told you, when I get anxious, instead of like, I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't vape, I don't zen, I get like a McDouble, a little$6 McDouble meal. Some fries, some nugs, Diet Coke, smooth sailing. You have to find other coping mechanisms then if that's the actual reason. Yeah, like I eat my stress away. It's expensive, but, you know, I'm kind of like addicted to the fast food at this point.

41:18No, that's as clear as day. That's another thing that you're just like you have to fight. You have to just – you can do a cold turkey in it for a couple weeks. It's like you'll crave it hard. It's not like you have withdrawals like opiates or anything. But you'll crave it extra hard. Intensely. You'll crave it very hard. Absolutely. But two weeks later, that's gone. Yeah, I went a week one time without eating any. One time? One time without eating fast food. And then my. As a fat f*** myself, that's insane. One time. Well, I grabbed some after work. I had worked 12 hours. I was tired. Went through drive-thru.

41:54And after that, it was like a relapse, you know, back into the nugs. What do you think your financial score is zero to 10? Zero being the worst, 10 being the best. Oh, it's a zero. This is the... You're lucky your credit line is high, but this balance is ridiculous.

42:59For your income, this is insane. Discover it. Tell me what's going on with this card. That was my main card. You know, I put it on the Apple Pay. Made things easy, you know. You're double clicking. Oh, easy. You're just double clicking away this card. Tap, tap, tap. Your entire future. You paying back your kid. Double clicking away. Yeah, you can even put it on the watch. So it makes it even easier. Dude.

43:24$6 ,807.61. Oh, it got up to$8 ,000. since I've sent those statements in.

43:38Did you even know that, Colton? That's f***ing crazy. That's f***ing crazy. Yeah, sometimes I take it off the Apple Pay because I'm like, I've got to quit using this. Take it off the Apple Pay permanently! Burn it close to your cow! You're not a credit card person in any way whatsoever. I don't even face that a f***ing question. No. It's only gone up since you said this, David. It's insane. What's your new minimum payment? Minimal, last time I checked was around, I think it was like 80 bucks. No, it's 160 here, you f***. And the balance is gone. I don't really look. I'll just pay it. $180, I'll call it.

44:13You don't look. You just pay. Let's find out. Doubt. Listen. Never had a late fee. Before the balance went up. Before the balance went up. Before the balance went up. Minimum monthly payments only without doing any purchasing, which by the way oh you do this took 28 years to pay off you tell you tell me you're giving your kid back their money by the that was gifted from family and friends not you you're telling me you're paying him back before he's 18 but this takes 28 years now probably like 35 years to pay off if you do not purchase and oh you purchase one thousand two hundred seventy six dollars and fifty two cents of purchases wow i did not realize some good memories you dick i have never had a late fee though it gets paid my payment history is a hundred percent on time i have good credit score just bad debt you have a decent credit score because the household income is halfway decent and your credit line is huge on here.

45:20Yeah. Huge. But the fact that it is going up, you are halfway to the credit line at 8 ,000. This will be 16 before you know it. And I'm sure you've gotten pretty darn close before you've done consolidation, TSB loan and bullshit and take it from your kids. Yeah, that's usually the one I run up the most. I've paid it down a couple of times. I'm sure you have, big guy. Oh, I'm sure you have. $139.39 in interest alone this last month. You made your minimum only and then purchased a trillion dollars.

45:49Shoe station Oh yeah Wonderful Game exchange Yeah I like to take my nephew in there And he'll buy Pokemon cards and stuff And he gives me cash He gives me like It's like 10-12 bucks usually Sometimes 20 He'll give me the cash Would he make a profit off of him? Because this was only$2.56 Oh well there's multiple transactions sometimes It depends on when we go in there We haven't been in a while Chili's I love triple peppers Chili's bamboo shoe station again hey the bamboo is for the wife you gotta keep her happy sometimes she doesn't live with you anymore and if she's lucky she never will again what is the bamboo what because she's asian you racist freak it's like the boba tea stuff with the little bubbles he's racist i don't drink it let's talk about how phone carriers basically rob us they charge over a hundred bucks a month for service that still drops the second you step into a basement and and we're just like accepting it, I guess?

46:46Not anymore. Today's sponsor, Helium Mobile, is proving the big carriers are a joke. And here's the deal. Helium Mobile uses nationwide 5G plus community built network. Think of it like Airbnb or Uber, but for cell service. Everyday people help power the network, which means costs stay low without sacrificing coverage. And that is why Helium can offer plans that are radically affordable. We're talking the Zero plan for free. Air and Infinity for more data, still nowhere near the$100 ripoff from the big guys. And because they actually reward you for being a customer, you earn cloud points to spend on gift cards for brands you actually want.

47:19When's the last time Verizon handed you a Sephora card? Exactly. So ditch the overpriced nonsense, hit a link in the description below to download the Helium mobile app, and enter code Caleb. Let's get back to the episode. You ever try to figure out if your insurance covers something? That's like playing a game of guess who, but every answer is maybe, and you still get the bill. But today's sponsor, Ro, is making one part of it way easier. They've got a free tool, yeah, actually free, called the Insurance Checker. You just upload your insurance info, and a few days later, Roe sends you a clear report that shows you which GLP-1 medications your insurance may cover.

47:56That means no guesswork, no endless phone calls, and no need to Google, what does a formulary mean? And even better, you don't need to be a Roe member to use it. And if you do become a Roe member, they walk with you the whole way with licensed professionals, on-demand chat, and a platform that is actually built for real humans. So if you're even thinking about getting started with treatment, start with this. Over 500 ,000 people have already used RO to check their coverage, and nearly half of RO members do have insurance coverage for those meds. So go to RO.co slash Caleb for your free insurance check.

48:30That is RO.co slash Caleb to see if your insurance covers GLP-1s for free. And of course, go to road.co slash safety for box warning and full safety information about GLP-1 medications. Let's get back to the episode. That's racist. I'm a Diet Coke. If I'm drinking something, it's Diet Coke or water. Not bamboo. Hey, it makes her happy, you know. Yeah, well, she can probably afford it. You're going to get in on debt that you can't. You said she doesn't have debt. You went into a gas station and got some bullsh**. Is that you get in your can? Lovely Diet Coke can. I usually get the fountain one.

49:06Dude, this makes no sense because even though that is cheaper than most gas station purchases, you know, most people go in there and get like a$3,$4 Red Bull. But even that is more expensive than this. Dude, get on this. Get on this. There's a caffeine version, energy drink, or there's a hydration drink version. The thing is, you use that, the Gamer Subs, whatever flavor you want. There's like a trillion flavors. I'm sure they probably have a cola flavor, diet cola, whatever. I don't know. Get that. It is 25 cents a serving. It is like making coffee at home instead of going to Starbucks. Do it.

49:36Get it now. Yeah, I'll give it a go. Don't be a moron. It's the easiest day. It's the easiest day.

49:45So, you're about to make a trade based on a friend's text. But which you do you listen to? Is it, we could buy a house in Tulum. Get optioning those options. We could lose everything. Or, let's do a little research. Get your head in the trade and make the investment decision that's right for you. Learn more at finra.org slash trade smart. Okay. How about this? I will get you some free samples. Everyone in the audience gets free samples at the link below. Okay. And 10 % off if you decide to purchase the whole 25 cents a serving tub. Okay. Yeah. I'll give it a go. Do that instead of the stupid bullshit stopping at gas stations and getting cunts.

50:29Okay. Stop. Okay. Sure. It's ridiculous. You just can't afford it. Oh, f*** You recently bought an AR-15 Not really thrilled when I see a blue-eyed dude buying an AR-15 Yeah, it was a gift to myself A few months ago, I've been one-on-one, you know All the crazy stuff, they just get more expensive every time something crazy happens So I was like, oh, let me go ahead and get it It's mounted on my wall You gifted it to yourself? Yeah Please tell me you're not gifting the bullets to anyone soon Oh, no, no, no We just go up to range People will be writing messages on them these days. No, no, no. We have a range up in the woods up the road, and we go up there and shoot.

51:09It's free, so. What? Yeah, but the AR-15 and ammo isn't. How much was that? It was on sale. It was like$5.50 before tax. I spent like$200. You couldn't give that to your fucking kid, you asshole. Yeah. You asshole. What is wrong with you? I actually bought my brother in one, too, at the same time. I don't know if it's on there or not, but, yeah, we got two at the same time. He couldn't do it And I was like You can't do it I know You owe your kid money I know Looking back at him Like yeah That wasn't too smart But I was feeling generous You know Oh my Oh my Dude This is insane Burger King Burger King You stopped it And got some bullshit For$5.55 It's on my mail route It's right there What Burger King?

51:58I really don't like Burger King But it's No one does Speak for yourself, motherfucker! It's Burger King or Papa John's and it's not that great of options. No, it's not, so do neither. Pack yourself a sandwich, you f*** the freak. I did recently learn there's a Popeyes on my route. I do like Popeyes. I deliver on military base, so I went to the other side of the base and, you know, so. I'm trying not to go to Burger King anymore. I don't think anybody really likes Burger King. No! But the French toast sticks before, what, 11 or a grade? I like the little cinnamon things. a little Cinnabon the Cinnabon's my weakness okay every time I'm in the year you're gonna get fat I'm there you're chunky you're not like obese you're definitely overweight yeah you might be obese light scale I think on the medical like medical terms yeah I'm morbidly obese you're not morbidly obese it says I should be like 155 I'm like 5 foot 9 210 pounds I think I have a lot of visceral fat that's what my wife says if you're 5 foot 9 210 you're obese yeah I'm a short king No, you're an average king as I am 5 '9".

53:02We are the average American male in the United States. Thank you very much. Today, we're finally driving the truck. 5 '9 is the literal average. Okay? Now listen here, Mr. Frodo, don't get short with me. Also, the average is 10 pounds lighter than you, so just get there and you'll be fine. And then you'll actually be overweight. Yeah, you'll go from obese to overweight at about 200 pounds at 5 '9". I was 220, but I took myself off my Lexapro. It dropped me 10 pounds. I was on the, for my anxiety and stuff, and I just didn't want to take any more, so I stopped. Is your anxiety worse? Oh, yeah. Okay.

53:39But I don't like that stuff. It makes me feel funny. Sure. I'm pretty sure there's a correlation between that. You know, if it makes you feel funny, you talk to your doctor and you find one that works with you better. Yeah, but then I get anxious about taking new medicine. It's a whole ordeal. I actually, I do get that. I go through that. You stopped and got a gas station. Bullshit. $5.55. Gamer sucks. Asshole. Get your free trial. Okay, that one's gas. The next one, I think. And then Domino's. Stopped in, got some bullsh**. Stopped in, got some bullsh**. Dude, this makes no sense. This makes so no f***ing sense.

54:14Frugals? But you're not. Yeah, that's a grocery store. Yeah, but you stopped in and got something for$13. I doubt you got groceries, asshole. Yeah, we were making red beans and rice at my grandpa's house. And I needed the... The sound. The sound. Yeah, I went to see a Skillet concert. You know, Skillet? They're from like 1996. They're still around. It's like a Christian rock band. Really good. Recommend the show. They put on a great show. My dad and I went. The Salt Sand Barbecue. Panda Palace Buffet. 75 bucks. GameStop. It's a rarity. GameStop. Bayou View Quickstop. Well, he went and got some bullshit.

54:55Japanese Express. Popeyes. Well, he found it on his route. Waffle House stopped in and got some bullshit. Gamer Subs, asshole. 25 cents a serving. And Jimmy John's. Yeah, I like Jimmy John's. Spare in the subway. Everything is. There is not one restaurant that is not better than Subway. Well, I used to have a Subway on my route, and I could eat lunch there for free. But they went out of business. That's terrorism, okay? That's terrorism. It was awful. It's horrible. It's the worst restaurant I've ever created. I don't know how literally anyone goes there. Yeah, I mean,$400 in interest is here so far at the time of the statement, and we know the balance is higher now at a 25.24 % interest rate.

55:34Now, if you do have health anxiety, the question is, why are we coping with fast food? Because that makes your health worse in every way. Because being fat, myself, I got about five pounds on you. Okay, I'm way down, but got about five. Okay, gotcha. Thank you. Always, always.

55:56But being healthy decreases anxiety. It decreases like almost every bad mental health thing in general, typically. Yeah. The few times I try to exercise, I get my heart rate up and it feels like my heart starts skipping and I get real anxious. And I'm like, nope. Yes, I know that as someone that literally goes through that, that means that that is clearly something. So what happens in that moment as, you know, I've gone through like panic disorder therapy for quite a while. and I can actually recommend for someone for you if you'd like, but he's on insurance, so it works. That is clearly, you just start freaking out about that.

56:32You like notice that, then you think about it, and then your mind goes to the worst of the worst instead of what you should be just telling yourself is, oh, this is normal, I'm working out, this is not a bad thing, I'm not in danger, and you just have to sit through the anxiety and the anxiety goes away. The only way, unfortunately, to get through a panic attack, I'll tell you, is to literally just sit and wait. Yeah, it's awful. The only way without medicine. There is no running to go fix it. There is no fast food to go fix it. The only way to do it is just sitting and letting it go. Okay? Yeah.

57:03So work out. Let the heart rate go high. And when you get anxious about it, tell yourself it's normal and there's nothing wrong. Yeah, I'll give it a go. You just have to go through the process and make sure you take control of your breathing. Yeah. I can get you a guy if you want. Yeah, I can get a guy. He's really good.

57:20Kessler Federal Credit It's a Kiesler. For some reason, Kiesler, wonderful. For some reason, he cannot figure out how to send this statement over, dot, dot, dot. He may be stupid. Yeah, no. When I pull up from my Kiesler, that's our federal credit union. Oh, and this also went up since you literally spoke to Colton last. Well, you see this phone right here? The battery's shot, right? So I have to keep it on this thing or it'll be dead in an hour. So I got me an iPhone 17 Pro Max in orange. Me too. Because I can afford it, asshole. Yeah, well, you know, I got T-Mobile and they give me... Me too.

57:58They give me a good trade-in. Because I can afford it, asshole. Yeah. Trade-in, that means you owe on it. Come on. Well, yeah, but it's only like$25 a month. A month for... For two years. Yes. But I got like 700 bucks for this phone. I couldn't get it like that, selling it. Can you at least pull this up on your phone? Your special phone? Do you have an app? Yeah, I can show you. I know the balance. It's$3 ,000. Show me now. You are not a credit card person. use the Fizz card, debit card that builds credit. That's all I can trust you with. Other than that, you need to close these accounts, man.

58:27Yeah, it should be like$3 ,500. That is it. It's mainly... Pull it the f*** out! It's mainly just Chick-fil-A and my car insurance, you know, so I've been trying to, you know, pay other things, so I let the car insurance charge to that card and I just pay the minimum. I get it. Chick-fil-A's good. Get the grilled sandwich. It's better. For you. You can take it off the charger if you need to. It's just... It has about an hour and it'll be dead. $3 ,574.83. That is what it's owed on here. With a minimum... Should be like 90-something if I had to guess. Well, you couldn't guess the last one, so I don't think I believe you.

59:07If you back up one screen... You back up. And then scroll down. I think my mortgage just pulled out of there, too. Yeah. Is that aware? Keep going. Yeah. This one. Yeah, it should say a minimum down there under the numbers. You were actually somehow right on this one and horribly wrong on the last. I pay them all. I just don't look at them because they change each month. Okay. Chick-fil-A. Today. Last night. It's just pending. What about your kid? Is he not eating everything you eat? Oh, no. He wanted Chick-fil-A. He loves the spicy chicken sandwiches. It doesn't matter what he likes, though. It doesn't or what he wants.

59:44It's your kid. You want him to go down the same health situation as you. Yeah, I've thought about that. He's at that age where he's so picky, and he'll literally not eat if I don't get him. You may have to scroll back up. What is the screen recording? I can add it on there for you real quick if you want. I got a cheap screen put in this thing. I think that's what fried the battery in it. Got a cheap screen put in? Yeah, because my screen went out like six months ago, and I went to the guy at Walmart. At Walmart, not Apple. No, because Apple is$330. You didn't have AppleCare. No, because I don't ever get AppleCare.

1:00:19Well, have you learned your lesson? Yeah, because he put an LCD instead of the OLED, and it's ruined that phone. And now, because he didn't get AppleCare, you're getting a$700 phone. Chick-fil-A, Chick-fil-A, Chick-fil-A. It's every day, by the way. There's State Farm, Chick-fil-A. A Mississippi emergency? Oh, yes. I actually ended up in the emergency room a few weeks ago. I have real bad sinusitis. It's what the doctors told me in my sinusitis. Did you just call me sinusitis? That's what they called it. So my sinuses are all inflamed, but... Is this contagious, asshole? No, no, no, no, no. It's more of like a long-term thing.

1:00:53I just have to deal with it. It's like allergies really bad. They put me on a bunch of meds, but I was so short of breath and wheezing. No, you love those. So they made me go to the hospital. Are you sure you weren't having a panic attack? No, I'm sure. Okay. I can usually tell the difference. Chick-fil-A, Chick-fil-A. Well, that's usually the thing is you can't. That's why it's on... Chick-fil-A is the one I have. I have that card linked to the app. Chick-fil-a. Delete the app. Motherf***er. Delete the app. Yeah, I think about it. It's like McDonald's. I've deleted the app probably a hundred times, and then when I want it, I just redownload it.

1:01:25T-Mobile actually downloads it quick, so you know, if I get off work, I'm like, oh, I want it. Oh, I deleted it. It's ready by the time I get there. Oh, we love Chick-fil-A more than our kid. That's great. Chick-fil-A. Chick-fil-A. Chick-fil-A. Chick-fil-A. Chick-fil-A. Chick-fil-A. I don't really use that card. That's why that's all you see. Yeah, you don't really use it. Chick-fil-A every day. Just Chick-fil-A. This is insane. Chick-fil-A. Let's see what else is going on here. While we're on here. Go ahead. Oh, okay. Before you go through those, I'm on the same account as my mom. The only subscription.

1:01:57Apple Music, Google Photos, iCloud Plus, NetShort. The only subscriptions I have on there is. Yeah, when you delete it a dollar wise. Yeah. Well, it was really laggy. When I talked to Colton. Yeah, he said y 'all fixed it. So I actually redownloaded it. We came up with, we fired our whole external team that essentially built it, and we bought them out, and now we bought in, like, top players from the budgeting app field. We stole people, and now we're on track to make the best budgeting app by your son. None of those are going to be mine. It's just music and the Google Photos for my, that's right, back up all the pictures of my kid and my dog and my wife.

1:02:32Can't forget her. She's last. Oh, okay. And with that Amazon app, there's about eight of us that use it. So just a heads up. How do I know? I can tell you which ones are mine. If you see all the phone cases that are returned. So you're just buying phone cases. Like a passion hobby. Couldn't decide. I returned them. Got a different one. Oh, okay. I don't know. Yeah. We all split the Amazon account to save the money on paying for the prime. But I hear they're talking about changing that to where it can only go to one address. So that might mess that up. I saw it on Facebook the other day. Don't know if it's true.

1:03:03I would not trust what I see on Facebook. Kind of like Netflix. You can only sign in on. Yeah, but that doesn't make sense. I order things to the office. I order things to home. That's what we said. when we were talking about it in our group chat. It's always good throwing Facebook information around in a group chat. It's always very reliable. Yeah. Disney rewards. Well, you said you went to Disney, right? Yes, I got that one last year to get a discount on the park tickets. It's easy to get them because my credit was around the 800s at the time. I think when I bought my Tesla, it was at 80. You have a Tesla?

1:03:36Yes, I have a Tesla and a truck. What? Well, they're both in my name. One's for my wife, one's for me. Which one? The first Tesla is hers. The first Tesla? I had bought me a Tesla before I bought my truck. And after like three weeks, I was like, I don't like this thing. So I traded it and got my truck. Which one? I got a Model 3. I think I was a little too - You didn't like the Model 3. No, I was a little too big for it. It was a little tight. I love her Model Y. Yeah, that's what she has. It's in my name and I pay for it, but it's her car. You pay for it? Yes, I pay both the car payments because she pays for the daycare.

1:04:10This is so weird. $2 ,632.42 on here. Minimum monthly payment,$66. 10 years. Minimum monthly payments only without purchasing. Oh, we purchased. Oh, baby, we purchased$1 ,341.

1:04:28$40.61 of interest accrued. That's just moronic. So you opened this to go to Disney. Yes, I used it. How much did Disney cost last year? Because that's not what we're spending on now. Well, the cruise actually was free on that trip. So we went to Disney the week before. So all my expenses from that trip were just from New York and Disney. The cruise, I only spent$50 the whole cruise because it was all comped out from the casino. So Disney, I'd probably say two grand between eating and snacks. And, of course, my kid had to get toy. Yeah, because you listen to him for everything and then drain all his savings.

1:05:04That's wonderful. That's great parenting. Japanese Express. Yes, Santicos, Grand Dib, Jimmy John's, Whataburger, going in and getting some bulsh. Whataburger. Katz, delicious, and Tony's Pizza. Oh, Katz Deli, that's in New York. Hot Pot. Have you been to New York yet? Mm-mm. Okay, when you go, you got to go straight to Katz. I've heard of it. It's pastrami. Hot Pot. Din Tai Fung. Din Tai Fung. Careful. Yeah. And you got to go there, too. It's great. Hold on. That was almost racist. Raising Cane's. No, we love racism, don't we? You do. You're from Mississippi. I'm not racist. I'm a fake. I like it in a fake way.

1:05:45My kid's 50-50. I'm not racist. Did you just pull I have a black friend on me? I have a few. No, I don't do color. Everybody's equal. I had to clear that one up. He doesn't do color. Look, I'm from South Mississippi, not North Mississippi, okay? That means nothing. There's a very big difference. If people from there, they'll understand. What about the gays? You probably hate the gays. No, I got nothing against gays. I hope not because Colton's a gay right next to us. No, it don't bother me. It doesn't affect me, so I don't even think about it. Colton, do you feel homophobia coming from him as radiating homophobe?

1:06:25No. Okay, you've been given the pass. Appreciate it. Not yet. No, no. I don't judge people for that stuff. I promise. I promise. Quicksilver. What's going on with this? Quicksilver. I haven't used it as much in a while. I got the Saber 1 card, too. Right, that's why instead of spending$1 ,500 on this card, like all the other cards, you only spend$256. Yeah, I don't use it as much. I got to put something on there. You got to. I just got to. You know, I was always told to use it for something. No, you could not spend on it for at least a few months, and you'll be fine. Okay, I didn't want them to just randomly close it one day.

1:07:05you know, and shut me down. Dude, I want you to close all your cards. You can't be trusted with them. Yeah, it'll fuck your credit, but you already have a house anyway, so why do you care? And the thing is, it doesn't matter because this is a tool. Credit cards are a tool, but let's say it's a hammer. A hammer's meant to put in a nail, right? Put a nail in. But if every time you use that tool, you're swinging back and hitting yourself in the eye, don't pick up a hammer. You can't use credit cards. You're not a credit card person, dude. No, I'm not. It used to be, but that's a long time ago. And that doesn't matter then because if you were a piece of shit a long time ago, but you're not now, I also wouldn't judge.

1:07:36I judge on what you're doing today, and what you're doing today is six years. This is the shortest years to pay off a credit card, and it's six years. I don't even know what's on that one at this point. You tell me you're going to put back in money for the kids. I will. In what way? Through everything we've looked at so far, and we're not done yet. I got to do the snowball. Start with the small ones and build it up. Okay, great. You know the snowball method exists. I'm thrilled. In what way through everything we're looking at suggests you're going to ever pay him back by the time these are paid off?

1:08:10You've spent on every single one. The longest one takes like 35 years to pay off. In what way are you telling me you are going to put money back in his account, which should be about$40 ,000 by the time he is 18 in 14 years? Yeah. I may have to stop at some point, pay the minimums, and just pay him first just to make it right. Because it wasn't your money to begin with. You didn't put it there. Your family and friends. Only about half of it. I'd say half was from me, half was from them over the years. Lucky he has mother. Yeah, she's a good mom. Yeah, sounds like it. She's going and signing up for the military to get free schooling and everything just to take care of her family because her husband won't.

1:08:49Yep, that's what helps motivate me to do better. That's my goal. I want to do better. Maybe my motivation would be I want to make sure she doesn't get f***ed by a dude on the base, which always happens. Hey, if a tree falls in the forest and nobody sees it, did it really fall? Is that the conversation you guys had? You're okay with having sex? No. Are you guys open? Open's okay if it's established. No, but, you know, I just, happy life, happy life. You're okay with her getting f***ed? I wouldn't say that specifically, but, you know, I'd be, like, upset, obviously. But, you know, I'm so down in the dirt with her, you know, I wouldn't be surprised.

1:09:25Or she's going to kill me. That's crazy. No, she really wouldn't do that to me. But she said. Maybe. I don't know. No, her. She said what? She would never do that. She said when she quits yelling at me is when I should worry. Yeah, we heard that one already. Yeah, she's still yelling. But she's not there anymore. Yeah, just a few weeks ago. Have you cheated? No, I will never cheat. Because you seem so nonchalant about this. No, no, no. I'm not. I don't cheat. Never. Never have, never will. I do love her. I want to do better. I want to do right. But you don't. I know. You don't put any action in.

1:11:16You will not regret any of these. Change your life today. Okay, that means nothing. you. You've done nothing. That means nothing. Saying I'm going to do something but you never have or put any kind of... If there was a behavioral change of indication that I'm seeing in here that would suggest that you'll go further and change. I'd be like, okay, maybe. But no, this was all f***, dude. You stole from a four-year-old. Come on. Barred. Long-term borrow. $27 minimum payment balance$960. Borrowed is borrowed if you pay back. You're not paying back. I will eventually. I don't believe that based on this.

1:11:52I really don't. $256 a purchase, 75 cents. Let's see. Interest charge,$18.31.

1:12:03He had a service fee on here for utilities. Yeah, they charge that. Yeah. When you put it on a credit card, right? I don't do auto pay for anything, so I do it. Those are Spirit Airlines. Spirit, yeah. That's probably New York. Travel Guard Group. It's cheap. at a 24.24 % interest rate. Capital One said... Extra value meals are back. That means 10 tender juicy McNuggets and medium fries and a drink are just$8. Only at McDonald's. For limited time only, prices and participation may vary. Prices may be higher in Hawaii, Alaska, and California, and for delivery. Favorite card, what's going on with this?

1:12:42They just sent me a promotion saying I could get it. I was like pre-approved. It's got a little bit better cash back than the Quicksilver. Dude, you are not making that math work at all. Cash back? What are you talking about? You are losing so much more on interest than any cash back. At best, you're getting 5%, but you're still losing 25 % on interest. I see that now. I figured that out recently. I used to just look at, you know, oh, I'm getting cash back. Not a few weeks ago. You know, I really started looking at the bigger picture. I'm also being told you spent a ton on, like, figurines, collectibles, Pokemon cards, lightsabers.

1:13:12Yeah, back in like January, you know, I was feeling anxious. You know, I like spending money and stuff. That is all my... Well, you know, I have a three-bedroom house. Goodness, pause. We only used two of them. Pause. Go ahead.

1:13:28What does that say? Can you guys even see this? Does that say eBay on there? It's all McDonald's. There is not one in here that is not McDonald's. Okay, 90 % of that. Ladies and gentlemen, this is insane. Yeah, that's the one I put on the app. in my old... I had a different route. It was right next to McDonald's. Whoa! Most of that's breakfast. Okay, keep telling me about the f***ing cards or whatever. You're nerdy s***. We'll get back to this. Well, I have a third bedroom in my house that we weren't using, so I made it into my office. And so, of course, I wanted to deck it out. He's a service person, by the way.

1:14:02Yeah. He needs an office. Yeah, that's just what... It's really my man cave, but it sounds more official when you call it the office, you know? So I have, you know, Darth Vader helmet on the shelf, bunch of lightsabers, My Hero figures Some Pokemon cards I got rid of a bunch of them Because They just weren't doing it for me anymore I got bored of them So I sold them But I kept a few of them You know I got What have you spent on this bullsh**? I'd say about two grand If I had to guess But it was really condensed It was back to back It was like a Kind of like a month of just like Let loose and just eBay That's insane Two thousand and a couple months For all this sh** That you don't even care about anymore?

1:14:39Yeah I got rid of some of it But most of it's still in there How much have you gotten by selling? I probably got about eight nine hundred of it back Still negative but yeah better than it was Get ready

1:15:05McDonald's What the f*** A lot of that's Diet Coke and It's more than just Diet Coke There are more prices in here again And again 25 cents a serving you asshole 25 cents Well they do double points for breakfast So I would you know I get breakfast four days during the week, get the points, and then on, like, day five, I get a free biscuit. You know, over the course of the week, it kind of breaks it down a little bit. Makes it a little cheaper overall. But, yeah, most of it's breakfast. Some of it's not. I'm a sucker for the McDouble meal. There's probably another page to it. There's not. Okay.

1:15:49That's crazy. That is insane. As a McDonald's fat lover myself. Yes. And oddly enough, my girlfriend's fit. Very sportsy. And we like good food. But her literal favorite restaurant is McDonald's. Like, I get it. I get it. But this is insane. This is every day. That is once a day for the entire month. That is insane. I've never seen anything like that in my life. What the f***? What are you? because you spent also money going out to eat that same month on multiple other cards as well. You're eating that multiple times a day. You're stopping eating bullshit drinks. You're f***ing around. This is crazy.

1:16:28Yeah. Some of those are, you know, like I said, some of them may just be a large fry or just a diet Coke. But it's insane. It is still money. It is still calories. It's still bad for you. It adds up over time. You don't have. Yeah, it's up. You're dead. What was it? $70 ,000? None of it was an asset? No. Or at least a crewing asset. Promise you your Tesla it isn't. Oh, no, definitely not. It's definitely gone down in value. I looked at the Carvana thing a few weeks ago because she's leaving, so she doesn't need it for a while. Yeah, I love my Tesla, but they go down in value quick. Yeah, they definitely did.

1:17:05You have to get it as a want and just treat it as a toy. It's a great car, but it's just expensive. You're the first one to say that on this show, by the way. Oh, I love it. I should have just bought me a Model Y when I did, but that 3 was just, it wasn't it. I didn't even have it on the mark. People like to hate on them who haven't driven them. Now I don't give a f*** about the politics around it. Oh, they're great. Because a lot of people try to make it about that. Just plug it up at night and it's ready to go in the morning. Preach. You can't afford it. She actually probably can, but. Yeah.

1:17:30She's talking about taking over the payment now that she's in the military. Help me put that. Because it's five. What the f*** is this? That looks like. What am I looking at here? Principal balance of what? A Discover payoff schedule? Oh, yeah. I took a personal loan with Discover back in like January or February to pay off my Discover credit card. Yeah. The one that's at$8 ,000. Yeah. I ran it back up. It was stupid of me. You f***ing c***. Yeah. Dude! And you know, I thought I was being smart because I put it on a couple, like two years or three years. I think everyone in Mississippi thinks they're being smart.

1:18:07Yeah. Heard that one before. But you know, I thought I was. We love Mississippi here. I will never step foot. We love them. Oh, come through on the coast. It's not that bad. It's really nice. Like Ocean Springs is really nice. You know, there's a lot of coasts to choose from in the United States. Yeah, I know, but it's like a nice little pocket area. Is that the coast I'm choosing? It's not too bad. Not too bad isn't the review I want when I'm choosing. I wouldn't live there if I was you, but I would visit California. We have cruise on the coast next week. California, Washington, Oregon, New York, South Carolina, North Carolina, Charleston, Florida, Beaches, Miami, Galveston.

1:18:43Like, what are we doing? Corpus Christi, South Padre Island. Yeah. Traverse City, Michigan, Chicago. Yeah, I went to Myrtle Beach once. It was nice. Myrtle Beach is the city I've ever been to in South Carolina. And I've been all around South Carolina. That was our vacation spot when we would road trip. That was like 10 years ago. Myrtle Beach is a sh**hole. Well, the beach is not. Our beach is awful. We have barrier islands. You're really selling it. Yeah. It's nice. If you're from there, you'd understand. No, Charleston's great. Myrtle Beach, f*** that. Hill and that island. That's great. Okay, this is insane.

1:19:17What's the interest rate on this? I want to say it's close to 10%. I did a shorter term because I was like, oh, I'm going to get this paid off and do better. Yeah, that's great because now this is like f***ing you. It's like almost$400 a month. Yeah, I don't know how you're affording this. It's$3.95.88 a month with the balance being$9 ,842.53. Yes. I was working a second job just to pay that. Really? What was it? Why'd you stop? I was working with my wife at the Japanese restaurant she used to work at. Oh, that's what she did right before signing up? Yeah. She was a server. Oh, okay. She is taking a big job.

1:19:51It was right across the street from my post office. So I would just go there after work some days and work. But they hired a couple extra people, and so there weren't that many shifts. So I was working like once every two or three weeks. So it wasn't worth the trouble. No offense. I wouldn't be getting sushi from you. Oh, I didn't make it. I'll just give it to you. I would be very disappointed. Yeah. Now, she pulled up. I'd be like, I trust this. Yeah, I'm just a fat white guy serving sushi. This is ridiculous, man. And yeah, it's all going to... The interest is heavy. Okay. Ford Maverick. Yes, that's my truck.

1:20:24That's the one I got rid of, the Model 3 for. They were having... I got off work. I was driving to pick up my kid. Oh, so two electrics. It's hybrid. It's a gas. Okay. I don't have to plug it up. Minimum? It's a little truck. Minimum monthly is$550. I pay$550. It's like$525. Well, pay$525, asshole. You need to prioritize where money's going. $525, what's the interest rate on this? I want to say it's close to 9%. My credit union, see, I got the, we had a Honda Civic that we had for like five years. It had a big electrical issue and it was like six grand to replace it. So I was like, no. That doesn't mean we go get a 32 ,000-hour car.

1:21:07Well, you owe$31 ,992.93. Well, I would have had to put that on debt, like a credit card, because I didn't have the money to pay for the repair. And it was more than the car was worth. So I found that Model 3, it was only 22 grand. It was a lower payment. The insurance was really high. But after like three weeks, I just hated that car. It was awful. Yeah, too small for you. So I went, I passed by them on the way to get my kid. And I saw they had the Maverick, because they sell really fast, because they're cheaper than like the big trucks. and I went back and forth with them for about four and a half hours.

1:21:38I ended up getting all the money back for the Tesla in my trading. Big guy, come on. What are we talking about here? What do you think this car's worth? About$28 ,000,$29 ,000. $26 ,000, by the way. We've done the check. You owe$31 ,992.93 with a minimum payment that you can barely afford,$525 ,000. Like, what are we doing? Yeah, my whole thing was the Tesla, you know, the payment was lower, insurance was higher. So I was like, oh, this payment's higher, but the insurance is significantly lower. so it cost me almost the same each month and then it had a lifetime it has a lifetime warranty on it unlimited miles and i got the employee pricing for it yeah and again you're underwater by 5 000 so like stop with these it's not working yeah so it'll always be under about you're gonna be it's a depreciating asset it's just gonna keep going down okay kessler keesler keesler yeah Keesler, so what's this?

1:22:32Wait, this is your checking. Where's the other car loan? They're ones with Ford. Were you not able to give me the Tesla one? The Tesla's with Keesler. It's with Keesler. Let me find it. My Maverick is with Ford. Oh, here she is, Model Y. She's a 2021. Yeah, model years don't matter as much on those, but every once in a while, every few years, there is a jump. Okay,$26 ,975.63. And a 6.1 % interest rate. I mean, the minimum fee payment is$578.67. Yeah. Like, now we're over$1 ,000 in minimum fee payments when you bring in three. Yeah, just the two cars. I got a little carry away. What do you think this is worth?

1:23:14I put it in Carvana to see if they would buy it. Because she was leaving. She was like, oh, if we get rid of it, we can save the money. Put it towards the other debt. And they offered$19. I think I owe like$27 ,000. $27 ,000. Yeah, so I was... Good. I can't afford to take that big of a hit. Yes, you can. Well, if I have to get a personal loan. Yeah, well, yes, do it. Then we focus on paying that off. We put it in the snowball. What do you mean? You just got$19 ,000 towards your debt. Of course we're doing that. That's not an option. Of course we're doing that. That's not a f***ing option, dude.

1:23:46Yeah, I just don't know when she... It's going to be at least four months, but I don't know when she'll need her car again. Oh, well, what does she say? Does she say so? Well, she was fine with it because she was like, okay, we sell it now. We get out of debt. You move to us later. Eventually, we'll get something cheaper. But you don't know where she's going to be deployed anymore. We don't know. And she was kind of hesitant to let her car go until we had a bigger picture. Okay, maybe we don't yet. I don't know. That's an option we're holding. Because if I have to turn around and buy something right away and I just look at another person.

1:24:13Yeah,$1 ,000 in your savings, not your child. Let's go to the checking. Yeah, put that in there as backup. Okay, here we go. You win$1.50 Coke,$0.25 a serving. Yeah. I don't want to hear it anymore. There's no more excuses. There's no more excuses for that kind of shit, right? Like we, like this is the sandwich. We talk about brewing coffee. Now we have the energy drink version of the hydration drink version. I don't want to hear it anymore. Same. You went in, you got some bullsh**. $5.56 that time. You zelled out$15. We got more McDonald's. Withdraw from the ATM. $200. Popeye's, Burger King, Wendy's.

1:24:46Went in, got some bullsh**. Wendy's. Went in, got some BS. ATM will charge$203. Who knows what the f*** that went? Went in, got some BS,$5.56. Probably daycare. Daycare is$140 a week. So is this a joint check-in? Because you said she's paying for that. She'll transfer. Our accounts are linked, but they're not one account. But we can send money back and forth without any trouble. Cash app,$65. Went in, got some bullshit,$5.56. Looks like you're also getting a drink and a snack because you repeat that same purchase over and over again. In the gas station? Yeah,$5.56. I've seen it multiple times.

1:25:18You don't even know? You do it every day and you don't even know. Sometimes I get some water bottles because I work outside. I need to bring... You buy them in bulk, you f***. I buy them in bulk at home. When I bring my lunch, I pack waters. When I rush out the door. Dude, just in the back of your f***ing truck, put a thing of waters. That's what I do for emergencies. Popeyes. Popeyes. Get in some bulls***. 556. There it is. Zaxby's. Rainforest Cafe. What the f***? Rainforest Cafe. Rainforest! Oh, sorry. Rainforest Express. You went and got some bulls***. Oh, that's car wash. Oh, great. You don't need that.

1:25:51Come on. You're on the Mississippi. Well, she took her bamboo that I had got her and was pouring the rest of the ice out and it was smeared all down the side of my truck. Doesn't matter. Dump a bucket of water. You own a home. Dump a bucket of water on an asshole. Went and got some bullshit. Or ATM, which are 200. Wendy's. Went and got some bullshit. Taco sombrero. When the Mexican restaurants start saying taco sombrero, that's when you know you're getting further away from the border. I love taco sombrero. Yeah, but you know you're not at the border. at that point. Mexican restaurant. Taco sombrero.

1:26:23Yeah, it's kind of like fast food. Real Mexican food. Please come here. Okay. Went and got some bullshit. Went and got some bullshit. Smoothie King. Went and got some bullshit. Bullshit. Bullshit. Bullshit. Bamboo. Domino's. Texas Roadhouse. Bullshit. Bullshit. And Seoul restaurant. That's a Korean restaurant. Yeah, and she's Vietnamese. Yeah, but we love Korean food. And we love Koreans. It's one of our favorite things to go eat.

1:26:53okay and then here's that is my TSP yes it is it's your government essentially 401k is what it looks like the invested balance 14 but what do you owe on it? well I took about half of it it's all you're able to borrow because that's not employee contributions it's about it's your contributions you borrowed your entirety of contributions yeah so it's 4 % interest but the interest goes back into the account as I pay it. Yeah, which still sucks because you're losing out on market growth of about 10. Listen, you've got 40 % actually so far because it's been a great year. Except it doesn't matter anymore because now you're just getting 4%.

1:27:33And guess what? You get fired or you quit your job, they can call that. They can call it due. That's what my coworker told me. That's what your coworker was correct about. In no way. You can't even pay back your kid. You think you can pay this back? It has to be done in advance. Why'd you take it? Where were you going to put it? Because, you know, I was looking at the debt, trying to look at the bigger picture. I knew I was coming, you know, I want to do better. So I was like, okay, if this is only 4 % back towards myself, then, you know, I can... This is the season for all your holiday favorites.

1:28:05Like a very Jonah's Christmas movie and Home Alone on Disney+. Did I burn down the joint? I don't think so. Then Hulu has National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. We're all in for a very big Christmas treat. All of these and more streaming this holiday season. And right now, save big with our special Black Friday offer. Bundle Disney Plus and Hulu for just$4.99 a month for one year. Savings compared to current regular monthly price. Hence 12-1. Offer for ad-supported Disney Plus Hulu bundle only. Then$12.99 a month or then current regular monthly price. 18 plus terms apply. And like 25 % on like the Discover card.

1:28:34I can just use that or something and pay it back. It's a lower minimum monthly payment. Frees up other money to go to other places. Like, you know, I just figured 4 % back to myself. What, other places like New York? No, I want to do better. I want to try to, like, maybe I can save on the side a little bit. Maybe if I can budget it out eventually and put it to the side. I want to get to the point where I can go to New York guilt-free. That's my goal. I honestly think you should just start a new career there once she's out. If that's really, really where you want to be. I hope they station her somewhere near there.

1:29:07I'm down to put everyone where they want to be. Yeah, it's a higher-cost living area. You're going to have a smaller house. But if it's the lifestyle you want, then do it. I encourage it. Regardless of, you know, there's a lot of things.

1:29:20okay so income we're just budgeting you not her because this is just your stuff your debt your accounts and i guess you guys want to be separate let's get your minimum fee debt payments discover at 180 plus disney rewards of 92 plus no that was keiser credit and then disney rewards 66 plus the quicksilver at 27 plus 25 from the savor card plus a personal loan of 390 $5.85.88 plus the Maverick at$5.25 plus the Tesla at$5.28.67. Oh, well, oh, fuck. Does that have my mortgage in it? I do have a mortgage. Oh, fuck. Okay, debt, minimum fee payments, not including mortgage, $1 ,839.55. Oh, fuck, yes.

1:30:10What's your mortgage? $940. What's owed on the house? I want to say somewhere in the 130s. I can't get into the website. It's expensive, but I Really can't they've sold it off and it's with standard mortgage now. It's so easy. I don't know my login It's like my mortgage sold so many times. It's so easy to get a setup to yeah I tried a couple times they locked me out. So I got a corner address Do a little house an audit real quick This is crazy. I don't know if the pictures are updated. We've done a few It's not about the pictures. It's about the value, the area, all that good stuff. What's your phone bill?

1:30:47She pays it. I know the price, but it doesn't matter. She pays for it. This is your budget. Do you guys split the mortgage? How does it work? I pay it. Oh, fuck. Yeah, it doesn't look anything like this now. It's not about how it looks. Okay, 940. Why? Did you guys do a big renovation? I got rid of all that stuff you see up front is gone. It's just grass. I got rid of all that stuff off the house. Good. We got rid of all the characters. Yeah, we extended the driveway, replaced the windows, all that good stuff. Why are you doing that? Because the windows were leaking. Dude, it's worth like$185.

1:31:18Oh, wait, actually, let's get it. $130, you have an equity position. Okay, we're chilling. It's only 3.19 % interest. So that's why I don't want to get rid of it if we move off with her. That's why I want to get my dad or somebody to rent it. In case we come back or, you know, at least while we're gone, he can make the payment and build some more equity. Can I call the wife in the post show? Yeah, she answers. I texted her earlier. We're going to do that. I know that'll always be, it's always good. Okay, utilities. Who pays for that? She pays power because the Tesla charges. What do you pay for?

1:31:48I pay water. It's about$100. What about internet? Does she? She pays it. It's all included with T-Mobile. Gas from Drive for you. I'd say$30 a week, so$120. Car insurance. Who pays for that? I pay it. It's$320. Oh, that's insane. We're over the budget, by the way, already. Oh, I know. Yeah. Yeah, you're dead. So food and groceries How does this work for the house? Usually she buys them But she took a break from work To get all the military stuff How does this work now that she's away? It's going to be me Alright you should be able to do$500 Lots of meal prep The kid's not going to be happy He's going to be changing his lifestyle from McDonald's Lots of warmed up meals But you're going to meal prep a few times a week TP, fun, anything else you and the kid need 150 bucks, that's toothpaste, toothbrush Dude you can scrap it out with your kid Kid just like video games and having fun going to the park.

1:32:37Yeah. You know, it's like you can scrap it out with a kid. Yeah, walk the dog. Yeah, come on. We can have fun without going to New York and out to eat endlessly. Medical health care, co-pays and shit. The, well, I'm canceling my health insurance because we're going to be on her military insurance. Okay, but are there co-pays you're paying for? Just like 10 bucks when I go. But that's rare. Yeah. Gym, is there a gym? No. Okay. Probably should be, but no. I can put, you want me to put it in? I don't know if I'll have the time, so don't put it in yet. Just do lots of walks diet. Yeah, I need to. How old is the dog?

1:33:09What's the health? He's six. Health? He's doing good. You have pet insurance? I used to, and then when he swallowed a piece of rubber one time, I took him to the vet, and they said the pet insurance when I submitted it to him, they said it wasn't covered. There's lots of pet insurance out there, so you have to shop for the right one. Unfortunately, the right ones are quite pricey, but once you actually get that, it does save you a lot of money. It literally saved me like 30 ,000 hours this year. It kind of hurt my trust with it. It does. You have to shop and get good ones. $50. You have to do lots of vetting.

1:33:36$50, I'll put it there. Dog food, how much? He's kind of like a grazer. So we buy the big bags. I'd say$40 every two months. So$20 a month. No, he's a tiny. He's like 10 pounds. His grazing is not always the office. Basically my second child. Sounds like he does it well. Good. Anything else you need to put in your budget that is not taken into account yet? Let me think. I have a checklist on my phone. I usually go through each month. I put a check by it once I pay it. I don't even think you want it. You're going to be looking for another job anyway. Wayne, who knows where you're going to be. I'll get you a course career certification so you can go into a field that we want to do in the future.

1:34:12That'll be good. But I don't know how you're going to do this. You guys need to combine. And that's what we're going to talk to her about in the post show. Because that's the only solution here. It's like you guys can do this combined. But let me add this up because right now with just your income, this does not work. Oh, no. Yeah. When I got off the overtime list, because I went to hang out with her more before she left, that overtime definitely helped. I love that. Oh yeah, we get along It's just when it comes to the money and stuff That's what really gets us going But other than that We do great Dude, yeah It's bad It's done And with the combined household income Obviously she takes care of some things and what not I think you'll have a couple thousand dollars left over And that With the 69 ,000 It's not about help dude It's about conquering it together, but that also means you changing your behavior or else I don't want her to.

1:35:07But with the$2 ,000, I think we can contribute to it a month once we combine. It's about a three-year process to pay off the debt, and that's okay. It gets almost through her service, and then once she's out, you guys are living a great life in your 30s, kind of starting fresh, living a great life, getting a fully funded emergency fund. But right now, you need$4 ,059 to survive, and you can't alone. So you guys have to combine. So we're going to call her in the post show. That's what we're going to do. Let's get the Hammer Financial score first. Okay, spending a no budget. Well, you overspend.

1:35:40Zero out of ten. That is as bad as it gets without having collections or IRS. Well, you borrowed against your retirement. Zero out of ten. Emergency fund. No, you had$1 ,000 in savings, actually. Yeah, I keep the$1 ,000. You're about to change from your assessment. One out of ten. Retirement, you have a little bit of the match, but still very behind. And then you borrowed against it. So I'm going to give you a two out of 10 at best. Yeah. Real estate, you have an equity position. When did you take the assessment? This doesn't add up. This is not how the assessment would have given it to you. It's been a while, but it was...

1:36:11Like you have an equity position. I'm not sure I did it correctly. The house is okay. What's the interest rate on your mortgage? 3.1. Yeah, that's good. I'm going to give you a... Listen, you can't necessarily afford to have the house right now. So it's going to take some points off about a six out of 10. But at least you have that. You have an equity position and a good rate. Yeah. I'll let the cars go long before I let the house go. Of course. that's going to be a Hammer financial score rounded up to a two out of 10. Click that join button. Join us in Hammer Elite for an extra 20 minutes. We're going to call his wife in three premium shows posted every single day, Monday through Friday.

1:36:41I'll see you there. I need you to call your wife. Tell her about everything we have here. It's a scary task. Okay, so what do you want me to do? Basically, I'm going to need you to help take over some of my debt until we can get out of this. Wait, hold the f*** up. You want me to take your debt? That was the most ineffective communication I've ever seen in my life. I've never seen anybody not understand an hour and a half conversation more than watching you try to explain what this conversation was. She's aggressive. After that, she's absolutely getting cloud and basic. Hammer Elite is the best YouTube membership on the platform, and I just upgraded it.
