In short
A couple in Lexington, Kentucky argues about money management, trust, and relationship dynamics while planning marriage and a dessert food truck. The episode centers on their low household income, debt, and conflicting spending priorities, plus recurring fights and privacy violations (phone/text monitoring).
Guests (backgrounds)
- Lily (30): Verification specialist for medical insurance benefits; about $40,000/year; has medical debt; lives with her parents with two kids (son 3, daughter 12).
- Luke (35): Food service worker with two jobs (fast food cook and contracted middle-school lunch lady); about $1,500/month combined; has debt including a car loan; lives with her parents; has two kids (daughter 8, son 5). He’s engaged to Lily.
Key claims
- Lily says Luke’s attitude escalates conflicts and she’s “bipolar,” while Luke claims he’s “chill” but gets overwhelmed by her anger.
- They both go through each other’s phones; Lily recorded text conversations to show a friend, and both cite past cheating/toxic relationships.
- They argue over whether purchases are “needs” vs “wants” (e.g., Walmart at 11:30 p.m. for a nose ring and a daughter’s digital watch).
- They plan to marry Nov 6, 2027, budget $10k for wedding, have ~$3k saved, and want an Ireland honeymoon; Luke wants a dessert food truck, estimated around $30k startup.
Notable examples
- A fight about gas stations where Lily feared for her safety while Luke wouldn’t help navigate.
- A long recorded phone conversation screenshot/video used to prove Lily’s partner “told her to chill out,” and claims of cheating discovered via phone access.

1:29And this is Financial Audit. Oh, thanks for coming down to Austin. Lily, what do you do for a living? I'm a verification specialist. What are you verifying? Medical insurance benefits. Okay, very good. What are you making this job? $40 ,000 a year. Lexington, Kentucky. I'm going to assume it's like, if we're looking at like median United States, it's probably right around there, maybe a little below. I'm thinking it's that crazy. Unless I'm completely wrong, but I'm not the most Kentucky educated person. How many hours a week are you working? 40. Okay. Why are you septum piercing? You're not like the classic septum piercing.
2:05You're kind of more of like, you should be translating to Karen. No. I mean, you look like you're supposed to be, but you're in septum piercing land. It doesn't really make I used to have purple hair. Oh, f***. She did. Oh, f***. I like what I like. You like, okay. She is a dime. What hits your account per paycheck cycle? What is that per paycheck cycle? Unless I work like a smidge over time, it's like 1098. Well, do you usually work a smidge over time? Depends, but not really. So not really. So what's your average then? 1098. Every? Two weeks. Okay. Oh, I certainly hope this dude makes some money.
2:50What do you do, Luke, for a living? I'm in food service. I actually have two jobs. I work at a fast food restaurant part-time. Which one? Yeah. Yeah. Dude, that gravy and those tenders are fucking... The gravy is very easy to make. Well, it's gravy. Yeah. Okay, and what do you do with that? So I'm a cook there. Sure. And then I work at a middle school as a lunch lady. Right. Yeah. And how many hours a week do you work there? What's your pay in both of these locations? Gotcha. So I'll start with the middle school. That's my main job. It is contracted. So what that means is I got to set contract for however long the school year is, whatever.
3:27But not independent contractor. No, no, no. That's what, yeah, correct. So basically every week I make$311, or every two weeks, my apologies. What? So it's$622 a month at the middle school. What the fuck? Okay. And then? $11 an hour. What are we doing? No one makes that low anymore. Take it up with Dairy Queen. No, take it up with Lexington. Why are you there? Okay. No, no, no. I get it. I mean, what's the minimum wage in Kentucky? $7.25. Okay, so federal. Yeah. That makes sense, but dang. Yeah, Lexington's a little behind. Sucks. Well, but that usually means the cost of living there is likely cheaper, which is what I was suggesting at the beginning.
4:11I might have to look it up. Okay, how many hours a week are you getting there? Dairy Queen. it's going to be 80 hours a month, give or take. A month? What do you take home a month? I think I estimated like$1 ,500 a month. That's with both combined. You are 35. Indeed. Well, you should be on Indeed because you're making$1 ,500 a month. But I'm a lunch lady. How cool is that? Not, because you're making$6.22 a month from that. It's not very cool, is it? No, not at all. I can't stand it. Parents coming out. Huh? How is that not cool? You're not getting paid enough to fucking pay bills. It's a fun job, though.
4:58Being a lunch lady? The kids are funny. You know how many fights I've seen in the lunchroom? That's what we're basing our entire life around, seeing kids beat each other up. Go work in juvie. You'll make more being a guard. I've done that before. Do it again. No, that shit's stupid. But being a lunch lady is not? I mean, well, to do any... What's the highest paid person in your lunch lady service? Do you know? Is there like a decent career position? Because the lunch ladies... You know, when I went to school, it's the same people forever. They did it forever. That's true. But they couldn't do this forever.
5:33Not that income. I work with some dinosaurs. I will say that. They've been there since Jesus was born. But that means they're like having a career. Right, right. So basically. So what's the difference between you and them? The longer you've been there, the more you get paid, right? It stops at$19 an hour. And that's after working there for 10 years. 20 years. 20 years. I want to make it a career. Cooking, at least. I have a feeling you're not necessarily on board with that. No. Look, she is. I'm speaking. I have. Okay. She is like a spoiled brat, spoon-fed, like mommy and daddy give her everything.
6:12She makes the money. What? Well, what do you mean? No, no, no. What do you mean? She makes the money. I mean, but she spends it on everything. But I have the money to spend. Well, do you? I mean, I don't think you'd be on this show if that's the case. I don't know if I'm going to agree with you there. No, you don't. Do you? Yes, I do. Yes, I do. Okay. You don't, but whatever. Well, what's the disagreement there? Because she buys all this bullshit. Like, we ended up going to Walmart last night because— I'm sure you did. We did at 11 o 'clock. Tired as fuck, but whatever. We ended up getting something we did not need.
6:47I needed it. What? It was a watch for her daughter. And my nose ring. Just because she needed it. You actually just got that? No, the actual, like, ring part of it. Oh, girl. Why'd you need the watch for your daughter? because she wanted it. She wanted a digital watch. Can you describe that as a need? She wanted it for school. Sure. I keep hearing the word want, but you said it was a need. Where's the need? I'm not hearing need. I'm hearing want. Why does she need a watch? No one needs a watch. Yeah, she does to learn the time. Huh? Is it not your kid? No. So we're a blended family. I have two kids.
7:29He has two kids. You look like a thumb. A thumb? Just the more and more I look at you, something's happening. Are you Jewish? No. Can I call you Jew boy? Well, I mean, you can. I'm not Jewish, but what does that have to do with how you look? There's something happening. It's like I've seen you somewhere. Really? Yes. No, no, no. Like Planet of the Apes or something. Like there's something going on. Okay. I'm just sorry. I was taken away. No, I mean, hey, you can be bald. It's okay. I've just, whatever's happening right here, I've never witnessed other than like prosthetics in a movie. Oh, like this?
8:05Yes. Bro, I hate this shit, but. Well, no shit, because it's crazy. I can put a pencil there and hold it. Okay, so, what were you saying? She needed the watch. Yes. She needed the watch. Obviously, she didn't need to. So, she needed it for school. The disagreement clearly, though, is on the more career position. So, what's your perspective here? I mean, obviously, you don't like it. He thinks it's fun, so, but tell me, What's going on in the conversations around it? Fund's not going to get you anywhere. You need something stable. You need something that is going to last throughout the summer. You need something that's going to pay bills instead of me having to cover, like, part of your bills.
8:41I pay my bills. So I don't know why you're rolling your eyes about it. I pay my bills too. With my help. You don't give me a dime. Yes, I do. No, you don't. How are we disagreeing whether or not money's given? That's, like, a clear fact. Like, you're good with giving me gifts. I'm cool with that. Well, that's not giving money to pay your bills. Yeah, I can pay my bills. Wait, then what are you talking about? I give him money to pay his bills. How is there a disagreement on that? That is a clear yes or no fact. I don't understand what you're disagreeing about. You disagree? I haven't helped you pay your bills before.
9:15Are you crazy? You're just making this shit up. Like, what is going on? No, I'm not. You need to calm down. Whatever. What is happening here, guys? What is that dynamic? I want it to be a productive conversation for what it's worth. What is that dynamic? You guys don't even look at each other. What is the dynamic walking into this room? I don't know you. I go into these episodes blind. Give me a little something to work with here. Because this is so far a little difficult to mediate, I'll be honest. I mean, we just have our disagreements. It gets intense sometimes, but it happens. I don't know.
9:49Maybe she's just not used to someone like me. I don't know. What is like you? I treat her like I worship the ground she walks on. I treat her amazing. I'm always there for her emotionally, like all this stuff. Do you agree? Sure, until his attitude comes out. Why would his attitude come out? Literally, I could just say I'm just a little bit frustrated. I'm a little overwhelmed. And he just is like, you're not allowed to feel that way. I'm not allowed to have my own feelings. You hit her with you're not allowed to feel that way. Dude, like. Have you ever talked to a woman before? You know that makes it worse.
10:32I've talked to, well, I better not say that. I've talked to, no, I don't say that. You're 35. I'm sure you've had some fun. Who cares? Fair. How many of you guys have been together? A year and a half. A little over. Did you guys fight before this episode or something? No. Yes. Did you fight on the, what? Well, we can go. You're disagreeing with yourself. It was over a gas station. I was trying to find a gas station. We passed three of them on the way here, and he would not tell me, like, to pull over or anything. She freaked out. Like, hey, there's a gas station over here. Hey, there's a gas station over there.
11:05And he just wasn't telling me anything. And I'm like, I need you to look up these gas stations so we can stop it. First of all, you did not tell me to look up any gas station. I thought you'd be hard. You need to, like, chill your tone. Chill my tone. Yes, chill your tone. What the f*** ever. Okay. Guys, what the f*** do I do here? No, listen, listen, listen. Hear me out, big dog. I'm trying. So I assumed that the next gas station she sees on the road, she would just turn right in there and get one. Oh, you were driving? Yes, and I'm in the middle of the road now. Okay, well, fair enough. Why didn't you just go to the next gas station?
11:40Because I didn't know where they are. I'm not around here. But you just see them. I don't know. Because I'm in this lane, and they're all the way over in this lane, so I need to know when to get over. Get in that lane. She's so scared to drive anywhere. How do you know when to get over in that lane? You can just drive in the right lane. I'm confused. You think every right lane's a mandatory turn right lane? I don't know what she does. Have you driven before? Okay, that's a weird thing. There are some like just turn only lanes here. Yeah, but then you see it and you get out of the lane. Like last minute.
12:10I asked to drive, but she said no. Do we need to talk about your foot? Oh my goodness, guys. We're not talking about my foot. How often do you guys fight? Because what the? like pretty often. Yeah, I would say so. They're not that bad. Not that bad. You guys can barely communicate right now whatsoever. Like I said, I can't even like disagree with anything and he's just like, it's my way or the highway. Okay, there's kids in the picture, right? Yes. I'm trying to get a full picture here, I guess. Four kids. Between us both. Yes, how many per each? Two and two. Ages. I've got, thanks for letting me speak.
12:48week, by the way. What are we doing? Come on. I mean, let's try to... Okay, let's... Come on. So, I've got my son, who is three, and then my daughter, who is turning 12 next week. Okay. I have a daughter who is eight, and a son who's five. Does he not let you talk at home? What do you mean? He just... What do you mean, what do I mean? I can talk as long as it's in a nice, friendly tone, and I don't have that... I don't care. She's being fine. She always interrupts me. Every time. Every time. You always interrupt me. And I have to literally stop and be like, can I finish what I'm saying?
13:30What is our hope here? I feel like you guys are using the show to stab each other right now. What is our hope here? What's going on? What are we talking about? I'm trying to get him to realize that he needs a job. That's when I actually pay bills so he's not in all this debt. not unfair sure and you she's got angry issues and she just expects you want me to solve that can you anger issue audit can I go halfsies on that I mean I don't know you've kind of been the one a little more snabby maybe I'm hangry I don't know I'm a big guy I like to eat why are you looking at me like that that's crazy dude you're looking at me you sure got it stuck into you this year boss Shut up, Mimsy No, you're looking at me like you're about to stick it in me, dude.
14:23It's wild Bro, no You're the one with the look You think she's a cover-up or something? Well, there are bisexual people out there, but what are you hoping for out of this conversation? I mean, I do have a dream What's your dream? I want to put two together, right? My dream is obviously to marry her I do love her Really? Really? We're engaged. Oh, my. And then I want. Well, that's quick. Oh, you could have fooled me. Okay. And what's number two? I want to have a food truck. A dessert food truck. Okay. He's actually really good. At everything. At making food. Like little dessert stuff. He works at.
15:08Right. I've got plenty of food. And he warms things up at a public school. Yeah. You're not wrong with that. We do warm things up. Yeah. Yes, I, come on. So I've had a lot of food service experience over my years of being an adult. I shadowed under a French shift for a year and a half. Why are you working in a public school? Lexington's got some shit jobs. Why are you in Lexington? We as a human species move where there are opportunity, even back to the Polynesians. Oh, that's why we're here. We can't afford shit to even move. No, you can like, well, shit with kids. That is a little difficult.
15:42Okay, fair enough. And like my family is around where we live. and I don't want to move away from that. Yeah, but that's like a sacrifice we have to do for a better life for our own kids, right? This is something we have to do. Like, I could have stayed in my small town, smaller town, Kalamazoo, Michigan, forever. I wouldn't have had the same opportunities that I've been blessed with since. I moved to a place with opportunities. I was an adult. I made the choice. But do you think your life would really be different, though? If you were somewhere else? Because even still, there are... People eat at nicer restaurants in Lexington still.
16:12Promise you. Okay. You're stuck as a cook at... How can I take anyone's word that you're a great chef that's ready to open a restaurant? Do you support that venture? Kind of. It takes a lot of money to like... That's what I was going to say. And you're already against them making$1 ,500 a month. Are you ready to do two, three years with no money? Because it's going to be money in, not money out. You want to go halvesies on that? Like, I mean, I can do some gourmet pastries, some cinnamon rolls, some pumpkin rolls. Okay, have you heard me speak positive about this yet? No. So you are, she's already struggling with you bringing in$1 ,500.
16:50It's going to be a couple of years before you generate a profit. Usually with most restaurants, food truck might be a bit easier. But you could help me start it. You can run the whole thing. Okay. I'll cook. I appreciate it. Obviously, I'm not going to. Shut the f*** up. So what are your thoughts on this? Like I said, it's going to take a while to like build up. Maybe. That is true. So what are your thoughts on it though? Like that is a fact. Now, what are your thoughts? We have other shit to take care of right now. Like, we can't just, like, drop everything. We have all this debt. You have all this debt.
17:22Is it just him? No. I have, like, a car loan. That's a debt. Exactly. And car loans is often, besides a mortgage, if you have that, he doesn't work? He has more debt. Oh, well, it's not a competition, dude. Car loans are one of the biggest we have as far as minimum payments go. I need a car. In the United States. You don't even have a car? No. How do you get to school? Take the bus with the kids? My dad's car. So we do stay with our parents, by the way, in a grand... You make more money driving the buses for the school. Probably. You're not wrong with that. I should do that. No shit. You are like the lowest income person I've had on the show.
17:57Damn. A long time. Wow. You are a failure of a 35-year-old. No, you're a... Well, okay. How are you not a failure? First of all, I'm a bald baddie, right? I'm beautiful. I love how old... You're going to annoy me. Okay. Good. But I don't know. So let me get back to the car thing, right? If you don't mind. Sure. You run the conversation. He also used to drive his ex's car before he moved in with me. So he's literally never had a car since I met him. Can we do one thing at a time? Can you chill out? Can you chill the fuck out? Okay. Anyway, I'm borrowing her dad's Jeep, okay? That's how I get to work and from work, right?
18:38He's nice enough. Her mom and dad are nice enough to let me use the vehicle. Okay. But eventually, yes, I do need to get my own vehicle. If I'm not mistaken, you're kind of complaining how her parents like give her money and she's spoiled. But you're the one that's actually getting blessed by her parents at the beginning. Like what the, what the, like you're, you're receiving the exact thing you were bitching and moaning about and having resentment over. I feel like that I'm the best relationship she's ever had. And I think they feel that way because she's still with you. So I guess she agrees.
19:10Maybe they owe it to me. Did I catch you guys in a bad time? What do you mean? He just has like an attitude problem. And you can deal with this? Sometimes. I wouldn't be able to deal with it. Sometimes. Yeah. She's got the attitude, not me. I told him up front that I have like issues. He tried to make it seem like he was this like calm, cool, collected. What? Oh, yeah. And then it was like 180. No, no, no. Her anger issues and how she takes that out on me changed my whole mental mindset. She has made me into who I am now. I get set off by anything. I go from zero to a hundred. It is your fault.
19:49Okay. I have never been treated like this in any relationship I've ever been in. Treated like what? Tell me. Like dog shit. But tell me. I need examples. She has repeatedly yelled at me. I remember one fight we had. We were on the way to her daughter's basketball game, and it was about me going down to the basement to go clean up some stuff. And then it was maybe 10 minutes. And she's like, where you been? And I'm like, in the basement cleaning. And she's like, why didn't you tell me? I'm like, oh, so are you my mommy now? Okay, but you do the same thing too. I'm talking. No, no, no, no, no. Hush.
20:24You do the same thing to me. You'll be like, what are you doing? Where are you? I could literally get up and go to the restroom. What are you doing? Where are you going?
20:37I don't, I don't, but basically like you messed up my train of thought because I was talking about the argument. We were driving to the basketball game. Thank you. So I'm thinking myself, right? Third person. That's cool, right? No, it's not. Um, so she, we were, we were yelling at each other over the fact that we, that she was saying like, where are you at? All that stuff. And she has some kind of psychotic break or something. I don't know what the fuck happened. She's driving. I began to like start fearing for my life. She's like slamming her hands on the steering wheel. The kids in the car?
21:08No. No. I thought maybe we were going to go into a ditch, whatever. It was not that dramatic. It was. I got PTSD. You guys fight every day. There's no chance. You fight every day. Not like every day. Not every day. What? We have good times. Yeah. The good times outweigh the bad, for sure. Yeah, for sure. Okay. Why'd you come in here on a bad time? She came out to. not three, but like 1130 at night at Walmart because she needed a nose ring and a watch for her daughter she did. Last night? Yeah. In Austin? Yes. Scared shitless. There was no other stores. I really - But you didn't even get a watch for your daughter in Austin.
21:48It just, I happened to find it because I was looking for one anyway and I just found one. You didn't need to be at Walmart at 1130 p.m. the day before coming on the show. Well, that's good. I'm glad. Obviously, you guys like something about each other because you're willing to put up with the... I wouldn't be able to put up with a day in this relationship. I don't know how you guys do it. I don't know how the kids do it.
24:17Do all four live with you guys? No. So who lives with who? His daughter is in Tennessee. That's the older one? Yes. Okay. And then the kids' schedule, they're half with me, half with their dad, and same with his son. Yes. So my baby mama number two. Great. I got two baby mama. Are you going to do it again? Three's a charm. What is it with the show and the most failures among society being the ones that reproduce the most? It is impressive. It is impressive. If we get pregnant and we have a baby, could be the next president. Maybe, I guess. I don't know. Don't race, but you guys, I don't know. I mean, okay.
25:00Are you guys actively trying for a kid? You guys are engaged. We f*** though. And is it protected? Yes. Yes. Well. Okay. Yes, it is. We go raw then when I'm about, you know. Huh? That's not protected. It's like half and half. Well, that's not protected. Why even go half and half if the other half is no? I can hold my shit in. What do you mean by that? But like 30 % of men or something have semen in their pre-cum. I don't pre-cum. I got to turn off valve. I'm good. But he pulls out. Yeah. If I don't have a condom. So what's our living situation then with these kids? I don't know how you can afford a place.
25:36It must be a cheap place. No, we live in my parents' basement. At 35 and 30? Yes. We can't afford anyone else. And you're talking about opening a business? What are we on about? Do you not give a shit about your kids? Go start a fucking career. How am I going to do that? I got my GED. That's my good enough diploma. Good. There you go. And you have experience. Now start working your way up somewhere. Become a manager. Start doing some shit. Yeah, right? Why? Yeah, right. He has manager experience, too. I do. Well, there you go. Dude, we've had managers that like Whataburger and stuff make six figures on this show.
26:12I mean, I was close. We know Panda Express thing. It's like 120. I was making six figures. Is there a Buc-ee's nearby? No. No. Okay. Not close enough to like commute to for work. Because they make over six figures. There's like, there's actually, this is, because those are in-demand positions. Because fast food is hard to fill. They will pay. Before her, I was making. Nothing with that? Come on. Yeah. What were you making? So I was making around 90K plus. It was commission-based. I was a timeshare sales manager in Tennessee, and I was making bank. Okay. And I feel like, honestly, that's why. Why don't you go do that?
26:48You got a timeshare in Lexington? What do you mean? Okay. Why don't we go back there? then? She's not leaving the silver spoon. I'm not leaving my parents. How far of a drive is it? Five hours. Okay, that's not the worst. Tennessee and Kentucky are close, and you guys are from small states. Micro dick states. I don't know. I just don't, I don't like being that far away from my family. I like to be able to like just drive to my mom's house whenever I want. Well, then you might have to accept that there's going to be lower income opportunities for the rest of your life. I mean, I think if we moved, it would be a good thing.
27:22I mean objectively career wise I have a good career right now Honestly you really don't make much You really don't make much You work from home Yeah what's wrong with that I'm not saying there's nothing wrong with that No you're like attacking her for that No I'm saying we can move because she can take that job anywhere Right We can move somewhere else Okay yeah sure So what's our plan then With the business business? I don't want to interrupt you, so go ahead. I mean, you'll have to. It's your business. Well, I mean, I thought she was going to interject on something. I felt like she was, but.
27:59Okay, so I'll just start then, since she don't want to say anything. Well, she doesn't even fully necessarily support the business, but she certainly doesn't support what you're doing now. So what's the plan? So the plan is, so we are getting married. When? Why? Because we love each other. When? So it's November 6, 2027. Um, when we do, that's our wedding date. Um, so we're going to have a little bit of money left over after the wedding to either do honeymoon. From who? Just gifts and stuff. Yeah. And we're going to pay for the wedding though. Well, wedding and honeymoon. We've been saving up.
28:35Yeah. We're saving. You have money. We're broke. We have some saved. Yeah. I know we do. For the wedding. Yes. How much is the wedding going to cost? Like 10 ,000. And how much you have saved? Yeah. 3 ,000? Yeah, 3 ,000. You need to go to the weddings that are clean. How much debt do you guys have combined? You're about to be, we should know, as a household, how much do you guys have combined? I just have the car. She has medical debt, whatever. LA medical debt. I didn't ask what you have. I asked what number you guys have combined. There's so much for me. Savings is 2.5. But I will tell you, that barely even scratches the surface of the debt.
29:13It's about 10%. Wouldn't even come close, even if you used it towards something that's even more important. So again, what's the plan with the restaurant? Because you're going to be going in with nearly$30 ,000 of consumer bad debts into this marriage with kids to take care of and no good careers to speak of. I'll get you both course career certifications individually. Congratulations. People in the audience have converted them into six-figure jobs constantly in the trades and tech, whatever you want to do. Okay. But clearly right now, this is a joke. And the wedding is going to cost money and you're barely going to pay for it because I don't know how you're going to save off from that because your minimum payments are insane.
29:47Your budget's an absolute joke. And the money that you get after your wedding is probably just going to go towards even paying off what you borrowed to even get to the wedding. Then we're still going to be in like$30 ,000 a day. And then you're going to start a company that's going to take like two years until you barely break even and the margins aren't even great. So what's your plan? That's why you should help me with it. So what's your plan? He wants to use the money after the wedding, however much we have left. We already established that it's going to go towards paying for the debt that was used for the wedding.
30:13It's going to go for the honeymoon that I want. I don't think she'll do that. What honeymoon do you want? I want to go to Ireland for like 10 days, two weeks. What is that going to cost? She doesn't even like flying an airplane. It took everything within her to even get here. I'll get over it. Well, she did it. Yeah, I did it. She about squeezed my arm off. But she did it. How much is that going to cost? I don't know. However much it is. Thousands? Three? For both of you, maybe? Yeah, because we want to go for at least 10 days to two weeks. It would take every bit of what we have left over from the wedding, I'm sure.
30:44Yeah, and you guys are going to want to do nice things there. See, my thing is like. Oh, let's hear about this. So, listen, buddy. You don't want to do that with me. Do what? Listen? Just let me talk. I am. That's what I said. Let's hear about this. Okay, thank you. But. Let's fucking. Okay, go on. Oh, okay. Okay. Whatever. Just, yeah, dude. I'm listening. I'm waiting. Okay, so my goal is. I'm a bald baddie. Okay. Mr. Clean looking mother. Okay. Okay. So if I can do the food truck and it's in a surplus, we're doing good in business. We can, we can move to Ireland. We can go to Dubai. We can, we can go wherever we want to.
31:29What the fuck are you talking about? I need your business plan for this food truck. Desserts. What desserts are you making? So cinnamon rolls, cheese danishes, croissants, cheesecakes. I do a lot of cheesecakes, like mini cheesecakes. I love cheesecake. I love cheesecake. at nighttime, real late at night. Do we have a piece of paper? Can we get a piece of paper for this man? A piece of paper and a pen, please. Okay, so that's good. Little dessert thing. Where are you opening it? Well, I mean, just wherever a truck can be set up. What do you mean? That is a very important part of whether or not people come up to the food truck to eat.
32:02Obviously, I would scout out where to put it. You haven't? College campus. How are you funding this? How much is this going to cost? Jesus. A lot.
32:20wow incredible so um you said like 5 000 it's it's gonna be more than 5 000 probably i'm sure that was just what you told me i mean we don't really need ovens or anything because i could still probably do that in like a at the house whatever that i don't have damn yeah you live with your parents yeah your life's a joke um i would say maybe about 30k to be honest with you I'm doing the calculations right now Alright, this is what we're going to do In the post show Our panel, which is me, Brandon and Lindsey As you know, I'm from Hammer Elite We are going to each sample Your best three desserts And we will make sure we get you What you need to cook them Here in the studio After we film, and we'll eat it So write down what you need Because we don't have an oven here So if you need a little cook thing, if you need flat top They call me the Gordon Ramsay of finance Well, now we're getting just the Gordon Ramsay of Gordon Ramsay.
33:14Okay? Okay. So you write the ingredients you need for your three best desserts that you can make in like 30 minutes. So probably not a cheesecake, but go ahead. Write down. You focus. I'll focus on her. Okay. So he's a f***ing piece of s***. I can hear you. Hey, focus. Write down what you need, including even like spatulas and s***. Daddy chill. And one of my, one of my, I told you he's a f***ing. One of my little. Okay. One of my little gremlins will go shop, okay? Okay. So what's going on at this household right now? How are the finances ran? I mean, I put back what I need. I pay my bills. Anything extra, I do whatever I want with.
33:57I'll get groceries from me and, you know. Can I have the headphones? Can I have the headphones, please? What are you listening to? Mark literally took off his headphones for monitoring the audio of this episode thinking that's... No, no. I need this man to lock the f*** in. And I just need to talk to my girl over here. Your girl. She's my girl. Also, so here's the thing, guys. In Lexington, Kentucky, most realistic first-time setup is going to take... It's usually two to three months working capital. It's going to be$70 ,000 to$120 ,000 to get this thing up and running. Oh, yeah, you guys make$3 ,696 a month and live in the basement of your parents.
34:40I know you're joking about me investing, but like, how are we actually getting that money? I save a little bit, every paycheck. Girl,$2 ,500 is what we've gotten to after a year together. And we have a wedding that's going to cost 10 in a year and a couple months. Well, my parents help out a little bit. Appreciate you. So a lean in bootstrap version is$40 ,000 to$70 ,000. Minimum 40 would take you a decade to get to at your guys' pace. And then you're going to have to plug it in. Yeah. I got it. Did you? Because you were trying to. You were doing something. I want to do lift and ride.
35:20There's no music. See, that's the attitude always. Do you want the desserts or not? Dude, chill out. Do not tell me to chill out. Do you chill out? Stop. Do the kids witness this at home? No. No. You'll wait until they're gone? We're asleep. We're asleep, yeah. Which means you guys are just building her up all day. I can't hear you. Good, that's the point. So I understand you say you deal with your stuff, but the whole household together. His money comes in, your money comes in, money's going out. How is the entirety, how's the communication done? How does this work in the house, the money? I mean, I figure out all the bills.
35:58Everyone, for both of you combined. Yes. So not just you, okay. Yes, I figure out all the bills, what we're going to have to pay. I tell him what he's going to have to pay out per paycheck, what I have to pay out per paycheck. I have like a month's bill set out in advance, and then I just pay as I go. Okay. And are we making budget? Kind of. I mean, you should. You live with your f***ing parents. Yeah. What are even the bills? The bills are paid. Oh, you are f***ing brain dead. When he's not talking, the more brain dead person, all of a sudden you look brain dead. What are the bills? You live at home with your parents.
36:35What are the bills? Like car payment, car insurance, subscriptions. Keep going. I have. What else is there? Doctor's appointments, medication I have to get. Is that big? Stuff for my kids. I put money back to my kids' savings. What? Yeah. How much is in their savings? Like two, three right now. Girl, you can't even put a roof over their head. Stop. Well, I don't know, like, specific, but it's round two to three. You can put a roof over their heads. Stop that. They have a roof over their heads. They don't even have a place of their own. Come on. We're getting there. Dude's about to go into a 40 ,000-hour hole somehow, and he's going to, like, payday loan it to do his little dream job, which we'll see if it's even worse in the post-show.
37:17Oh, I hope they can read that handwriting. And he's a lefty. He's from the cave this morning. Okay. Okay, and how's the communication of the finances in the house? Well, I pretty much tell him, like, this is our budget. So you tell him? Yeah. And he says? Well, let's just pull a little bit out of savings. Then we could put that back into savings. For what? So we'll just, random stuff. For fun? Yeah. Fun stuff? Yeah. And you say? I tried to, like, convince him out of it, but. Well, convince him. What do you mean you have to convince him? I thought you ran the finances. if you run the finance, so why do you have to convince him?
37:58So he forcefully takes the money out? No. Then what the fuck are you talking about? I just feel bad, I guess. Because he really wants it, and I feel bad for telling him no. So you're both just endlessly giving in to each other, which means, how long has he been doing this job? How long have you been fighting him to get a better job? Oh, gosh. Whenever we first got together, he was working at the hospital. and then God I can't I honestly cannot remember whenever he started this one but he was working How long have you been in general pushing him to do better get a better job A few months like since last year Since last year Oh last year hasn't been months we're in August and what if he never does what if he never does then what what are we going to do is it you're working on getting a new place but no you're not you guys don't make anything barely I mean, we can just, I don't know.
38:54And let's be honest. I mean, I've listened to this conversation. Answer this honestly. In this household, are there anger issues? Yes. Tell me. Which are both of us. I mean, I'm bipolar. He wants, yeah. Like I said at the beginning, he's like, yeah, I'm very chill, very level-headed, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But he's definitely not. He, like, I have videos, like screenshots of, like, our conversations. What? is pretty bad. Yeah, with me. Show me. Like back and forth stuff. Show me, show me. Screenshots? That's crazy. It's like you're preparing to cancel them or something. It's just for, like, if we have a conversation and I can say, like, you're doing this again.
39:39He doesn't really know I have these screenshots, though. Okay, this is like five. He still doesn't. This is like a five-minute long video. Oh, my. Okay, ladies and gentlemen, let's get into it. I'm going to read it. let's get this video on screen okay so it must start on this Friday thing okay this is from you you're blue she says all I was doing was trying to vent and get things off my chest so they don't linger but I get told to chill out I've told you before that makes me so mad when people tell me to chill out or calm down always does for women and then he says okay you're taking what I said completely the opposite direction.
40:22What I was trying to say before you walked out the door was you need to calm down so you can breathe and not stress anymore, but you wouldn't let me finished. He said, she says so much better way to have worded that instead of telling me to chill out. All I wanted to do was vent about the situation. Okay. So far, this is like a normal man woman conversation, but we'll see how it goes. He says, chill out never came out of my mouth. Okay. By the way, why'd you even, why'd you take a screen recording of this conversation? Like That's kind of like a crazy bitch move. Unless there's something legal in here.
40:56Well, I mean, it was so bad. It ended up turning into another day where I was sick. Why is the screen recording? Because I wanted to show my friend. Your friend? Yes. What about your private relationship? It was honestly the first time, and I was on the verge. Let's see. You said, oh, yes, it did. That's what made me mad. you need to chill out is exactly what you said he says no honey it wasn't okay but okay you say yes it was he says i know what i said you say that's why i walked out because i hate that shit i know what i heard he says why do you always have to i hate what why do you always have to fig gut i hate that shit what i'm over it all right oh he goes back to lowercase i know what i said can we please have a peaceful weekend he says you say trying to once again tell you how i'm feeling and how what you said made me feel but shut it down again he says you coming out you say i'll i'm done put that back on piece of shit he's a shit oh i'll put it on call done and you say, I'll just get my meds tomorrow or I'll just get my meds tomorrow.
42:16Well, it doesn't sound like a good idea. Okay. Thank God for quick. This is everything you need. Yes. Including cooking equipment and everything. Oh shit. I thought you said a kitchen. We have a kitchen but not with a stove or anything so you need to say what you need. I did it with We'll do hot plates and stuff. I didn't even know that. I did it so I could just make it as simple as possible. Like still good, still simple. Okay, Just tell us everything you need. I got you. I got a grocery list here. You need nothing else. Do you have a whisk? Do you have mixing bowls? I would put those on. Okay.
42:47Back on? Back on. Okay. He says, and now, and I know what I said, because I know that phrase makes you mad. Why would I purposely do it to set you the f*** off? That's the last, gosh, diddly darn thing I want to do. Trust me. because it's all when you get like this and push me into a corner. You push him into a corner? Or is he just saying that verbally? I guess I do. I don't try to on purpose, but. You said not what I heard. He says, well, I know what I said, and it wasn't. Calm down. I literally tiptoe around with what I say so I don't set you off. And it wasn't. Chill out. I live in a constant fear of making you mad, so I choose my words carefully for the most part, especially after us just getting over an argument like we had the other day.
43:36I've been on my P's and Q's about everything. Okay, so far I'm relatively neutral, slightly leaning towards him so far. Does something get bad in here? Yes. Okay, okay, because it is a very long video, I will say. But let's continue. If you live in so much fear, why deal with me, you say. He says, because the good times outweigh the bad. Well, that's what he said on the show. But the bad times are terrible. So the good times are damn good. You say, I've told you from the beginning how I am. You were the one that ignored it. He says, but that fear still remains. You say, yeah, I got pissed off, but I'm not going to threaten to leave.
44:14I get pissed off. I talk about it. Then after a while, I calm down. He says, yeah, I can't handle the stress you put me under when you get mad at the world. I literally want to die in a hole. I'm going to have you fast forward to where the bad stuff is then because so far you know normal argument not something I've f***ing recorded to show people my goodness I don't tell people I don't f***ing tell people that I'm friends with or anything like what I me and my girl fight about what the f*** is wrong with you also yes it's just like a year in like my gosh this is such berating such chaos you guys have trust issues too You?
44:55Why? Because we both have been in really, really toxic relationships in our past. Like this one, I would say. Okay. Well, what do you do with the lack of trust? He goes through my phone. I go through his phone. And what do you think you're going to find in each other's phones? That's crazy. I hope I don't find anything. Why do you have to go through it? Why do you feel like you have to go through it, though? Because that's how I found out last time.
45:23If you or your child spent years growing up on social media and experienced serious mental health struggles, you should hear this. Recently, a jury ordered Meta and YouTube to pay millions for their role in designing and promoting addictive platforms. They knew their apps could contribute to anxiety, depression, and body image issues, but did not share those risks while prioritizing profits. The recent historic verdict underscores the consequences of those decisions. Now Morgan & Morgan is stepping up to hold these platforms accountable for the harm they caused. Click the link in my bio to take a short quiz.

That he was cheating on me. Oh my. And him, why does he feel like he has to go through your phone? Same reason. How often do you go through each other's phones?
47:06I really hardly don't. But then there was this other time he like snatched it out of my hand. And so I kind of got suspicious there too. What the fuck are you guys? man. This makes no sense to me. Okay, so cheating. Okay, well, we've had it on the show. Is he allowed to be friends with other women on social media? Is he allowed to follow other women on social media? It depends. On? Like, does he know them, like, personally? And if he does? If he does, that's fine. You're okay with him knowing women personally? Yeah, of course. And if he doesn't know them, he's not allowed to? Like, what's the point?
47:43Follow a celebrity or something? I don't know, a podcast? If he's never going to meet them, that's... How do you know? Why am I being told you forced him to go down from$2 ,000 to$120, though? Following. He was following 2 ,000 people and you brought him down to$120. It's a little different than what you're saying. Because they were random. He literally told me those are random ads that I added whenever I was single. Why are you adding 1 ,000 girls in the... Why make them archive? I didn't really make him. He offered. Eventually. All right. Well, let's get into the finances. What do you guys think your combined household financial score is?
48:19Zero being the absolute worst, 10 being the absolute best. Combined? Yeah, that's because we are going into a marriage. That is true. We live together. Yes. We have kids. I would say a three. One. Where's the disagreement? Why the disagreement? I don't think it's that bad because we do blow our money on dumb shit. I mean, well, I guess that makes it worse. You live with your parents. 49:38That's mine. Klarna your Klarna what you so you want to run a business play your carna sometime? How are you going to manage food costs? How are you going to manage utilities? The rent of the lot? Paying for the loan that you inevitably get for the equipment and for the truck. How are you going to pay for that shit if you can't even pay a minimum monthly payment on a carna? That's why I'm here. Oh, fuck off. Give me a better answer than that. That's why you're here. Fuck you. Tell me how you, tell me how the fuck you think you can run a whole business, but you can't do this shit. That's why I'm here.
50:09Shut up. I gotta walk in and grow up. The fuck answer is that? Get a better job. It's not even just that. No, are you misunderstanding my question? How do you think you're able to run a full-on business when you can't even make a small$31.99 payment? I was on hard times, so that's why I did that stuff. Are you still? Because pay the fuck now then. I was just going to let it go to collections. Why? I don't make enough to pay it. You're going to need to borrow money to open this business. You don't want to f*** your credit. What are you talking about? Go to collections. You're preventing this whole business.
50:46No one's going to give you money. You're going to have to go to a bank, small business loan. You're going to have to do something like that. What the f***? What are you talking about? I mean, I got stuff I got to sell on Facebook Marketplace. I've - Good. Do that. Pay this off. Well, I got an idea.
51:01I've probably not told you this, so I'm going to tell you anyway. Okay. Anyway, so I do have some stuff like some TV. and some home decor stuff. I do have a storage unit and stuff. Okay. I worked at a resort and... Worked or work? Worked. I actually do work. Anyway. So I worked at the resort and I was a inventory specialist and I would go make sure these rooms had what they needed in their room. Okay. I don't like where this is going. I had access to their storage facilities. Oh my goodness. One day I noticed that they had no cameras in there or even around there or even leading down to my car.
51:44So they were about to remodel one of the towers at the resort. And they had probably 100-something 48-inch TVs. Oh, my f***, dude. So it was a very slow day. So I actually had to have somebody there with me to open it up. I didn't have a key for the storage unit. But I did notice that there was a big space in the door. so I got a butter knife, popped it right open, went in there, took the TVs out of the box, left the boxes, kind of put them back where they went messed with. I loaded them into a big linen cart, rolled about three TVs down to my trunk of my car, put them in the trunk of the car.
52:19I did this for like a week or two weeks. What the f***? Yeah, what the f***? You're a father. You want to marry a f*** criminal like that piece of s***? How many TVs did you take? That's crazy. How do your morals even allow you to do that? That's insane. I mean, I was desperate. Like, I needed money. Then work more. Be a productive member of society. What do you mean you start thieving? So it's okay when people steal from a grocery store? It's okay when they steal from CVS? What are you talking about? They had money. They could replace them. I have money. It's okay to steal from me? I wouldn't do that.
52:54Why'd you steal from them? That's not the point. I don't know. Just a lapse of judgment, I guess. No, you're doing it continuously for a f***ing week. That's not a lapse of judgment one little time. Paul had a little lapse of judgment. Huh? Only took like between 12 to 15, not 20. Why haven't you sold them? How long have you had them? I sold some. What were you able to get for them? Well, they're hospitality TVs, so I had to go in with a remote, with a secret menu, and unlock them. I'm pretty tech savvy. But you did that. Yes, I did. So you're good. Yes. How much did you sell? How many for? I sold a majority of them.
53:28So I would say over 10, 12-ish. because they were Samsung. They're very nice TVs. They probably could have went for more, but I was just trying to get money quick. For why? What were you using the money for? Pay my bills. No, this sounds like an addiction thing. I don't do it anymore. What did you do? Oh, I was the resort. No, you sound like someone that steals something to get meth. I'm clearly not on meth. Okay. Okay, so you were not addicted to something? It was purely for bills? Yeah, I was just desperate, honestly. Work more? I'm so confused. Especially for the money that you got from these TVs.
54:09It was like$1 ,200. You could have just worked more. I'm so confused. This wasn't like the most insane life-changing money. I do have to come clean about something else, too. Oh, well, that wasn't clean enough. Okay, yes. So when I first met her and matched with her on Facebook dating, I really, I don't know, I fell head over heels, infatuated almost instantly. Right. So I was wanting to sell them. I sold them, and I used some of that money, honestly, to buy her some gifts when we first got together. You said you're desperate to pay your bills. I mean, I was. That doesn't sound desperate to pay your bills.
54:43I mean, I made some money from it, so I had some extra, and I wanted to spoil her a little bit. But, like, I didn't ask for them, you know, and especially with, like, that type of money. because like you made it seem that you had money, like that you were on top of everything because you would say, oh, I have this coming up. I have this bill coming up. I'll just pay it with this. Are you a thief? Who? She stole my heart. You're okay with the gifts he has given you being from thieving? I mean, no, but I didn't know they were from thieving. This seems like an underreaction to me. What gifts does she have?
55:23Are they still cherished? What is it? Yeah, I have some rings that he gave me. I'm actually wearing an anklet he got me. But from the selling of the TVs, though. Yeah, that was really stupid. No, which one? Oh, you guys suck so bad. What gifts are from the selling of the TVs? That I don't know. That's why I'm asking. The rings. You know how you ended up breaking your daughter and son birthstone ring? Yeah, it was cheap. Well, I bought you that new one with the TV money. For your, yeah. Congratulations. For Mother's Day. That is stolen money. Klarna. Who has a Klarna in collections? That's me. Why is it in collections?
56:03I just don't want to pay it. It was$120. Why not? This is going to f*** your credit, which makes you get more predatory debt. You want a car. How are you going to get a car loan? Good the f*** luck. You know, if it's in a business, no. You know, apply for an apartment, no. It's so easy to clean up$120. Boom. You don't even make money, but you can pay that.
56:25What? I don't know. I don't. This is just too much for me. This is too much for you? Yeah. Oh, she's starting to touch you. Oh, he's stressing out. Too much. Talk to$120. You're going to literally enable him for getting stressed at$120? It's just a lot. I mean, I know he has a lot. $120 is actually not a lot. That's what I'm trying to say, is you could just pay it off. Overall, it's a lot. Well, yeah, but we haven't even gotten into anything. What are you doing? Okay, do not open a business. You can't handle$120. You will not be able to handle the stress of running a business. So I got you. No, I will never discuss anything with you ever after we are done filming.
57:08You do not have me, in fact. Please? Jesus Christ. What? Yeah, he's acting weird, right? Yeah. Okay. Not that weird. All right. Okay, you have an additional Klorna of$149. Okay. Okay. Afterpay. Your afterpay. Yep. I mean, you just have to, you kind of take some, you put some towards it. That's kind of how it goes, but it's from Nicholas Charles Fragrances and 1-800-CONTACTS. I mean, that's fine to get contacts, but it's like fragrances, fragrances, fragrances. He loves cologne. I love cologne. Designer cologne. Congratulations. Pay to get a roof over your kid's head. Like, what? I think that's more important.
57:52You have child support? Yes. Okay. I'll pay that. I'll pay that. Yeah, that's good. But for the rest of it, in supporting your children, get a roof over their head instead of financing an expensive cologne. What the f*** are you doing, man? Like, this is pathetic. They have a roof right now. Her parents are helping us. Yeah, but that's not you doing it. They don't have a roof over. This is how they're going to look at their parents. And it's pathetic. You both are pathetic, the way you are raising your kids. And I hope you know that. They love us at least. They're being raised, right? Huh? How?
58:23You're living in the basement of your parents. And they're happy. You don't know that. You can't speak for them. They don't have their own space, not have a place to bring their friends over. They bring them over. And they're not embarrassed? They will be. And they're pretty young right now. Yeah, so we got to tell. And a 12-year-old doesn't live there, so it's 385. Yeah, we got time to make it happen. Okay. Well, yeah. Again, not putting prioritizing cologne over that anyway, regardless if you're satisfied there. And you're never going to get another place at this point. I mean, I feel like she's out of my league anyway, so I just want to, for one, give her a lot of gifts, smell good.
59:02Out of your league? Dude, she's a 10. Look at her. I'm not sharing, but she is some fine shit. What the f*** are you on about? What do you mean? She's gorgeous. You guys are looks matched. That's what I say all the time. Wait, what? Yeah. Your looks matched. Yeah. We're on the same level. No, no, no, no, no. Okay, I don't know what you think about yourself, but what the f***? Okay. What is this? That is, let's, what is that? Can I see it? Oh, yes, that is, so I found a new app that's kind of like Afterplay and Klarna. It's called Four. and what are you utilizing it for i bought a jbl bluetooth speaker that was why that's how much it cost i didn't tell you no well you discussed finances do you not we use it a lot yeah okay we use it a lot but like we i'll talk to him about stuff i purchased i'll be like hey giving you a heads up.
1:00:10But then he will just buy it and not tell me until after it's here. And he'll be like, oh, it wasn't much. I can afford it. Well, why do you need mommy? You already do it before you put to me. That's why I just bought it. I can't open this. I got you. Okay. Well, you don't make much money. You spent a third of your paycheck. That's why I do it on payment plans. That doesn't mean you can afford it. I'm confused on that. It's a nice speaker. This is literally just a blackout statement. What the fuck am I looking at? That is my spending limit right now on the 4 app. I got a lot to work with. Okay, yeah, you owe 51.22 and that's your next payment and then it's paid off.
1:00:53Okay. 75 cents in this Klarna. It's nothing. Oh, I see. Okay. What am I looking at here?
1:01:36It's all him from one of my other jobs I had. You could payroll deduct stuff and it comes out of your paycheck over time. You know that trip, we went down to Tennessee to see my daughter and I got the one night stay at the nice resort. Yes. It was$900 for the night. You know the window air conditioner that I put in your room? The one that you said, but you just had in your storage? Yeah. Was what? It was new, but I told you it was used but it wasn't used. I bought a brand new because... Why do you have to lie about things? Like that doesn't even matter. Why not just tell her? Like what the fuck are we...
1:02:16What are we talking about? Why do you have to just lie? That's what I'm saying. He buys it and then he tells me about it. Which even still like okay. He doesn't even tell me how much it is. Like that's bad? But you make it worse by literally just lying about what you purchased afterward and how much it was. Why do you do that? We needed the... She needed it. No one's arguing against that. Why do you lie? I don't. You don't? Yes, you did. You just did. You admitted it. Why'd you lie? I guess she's going to judge me for it or think I'm broke because I. I think you're broke. You guys are together.
1:02:46What did you? You guys are broke together. This is towards the beginning of about eight months ago. But you know that laptop that I said I won at a raffle at work? That was on that too. And you asked me what was funny about it. You asked me, he's like, is this another payroll deducting? No. What is going through your head right now? This man literally lies about everything. This is actually kind of blowing my mind. Like, what else are you lying about? Like, why? Honestly, good question. Would he even admit it? I don't know. Probably not. That's all. I mean, I just have to. How do you feel? What's going through your head?
1:03:21Just, like, confused, I guess. Because I'm the one that's like, if you tell me up front, I might be mad at it. But if you lie to me about it, I'm mad about the first thing. And now I'm mad about the lying. So now I'm mad at two things instead of just the one. She'll eventually get over it. How can she ever trust you again? It's just monetary things. She already told me she goes through your phone and you go through hers. It's not like I'm cheating on her. Maybe. I don't know. You're very good at hiding things, clearly. We've got nice stuff. What can I say? In a basement at her parents' house. Yes, exactly.
1:04:00That's my point. ER pay plus. So that's another one that's kind of like Dave. so are you doing every pay in for every pay advance every thing that any can do that has access to shit online well these businesses don't need to be open and do that to enable people so you're trying to open your own business food and that shit is different what's your monthly payment on this or is it just paying it down so you can use it is that how it works how I got it was I linked it to my one of my old bank accounts and you make the first payment for it it was a motorized scooter because I'm like, hey, I don't have a car.
1:04:37Let's get a motorized scooter. Does he use it everywhere? No, he sold it. Fuck you. I made one payment and I sold it for 300 bucks. And then you still owe on this for$832.27. They haven't knocked on my door yet. You've missed a scheduled payment. A buck. So they will. Oh, so it's suspended. Oh, so it's probably in collections. Come here, man. What a joke. What a pathetic waste, this face. It's not that bad. Okay, great. Yeah, you want to be with that? Good luck. She does. Yeah, I feel like she's the one that wants to be here to change, and you're just a pathetic waste of space that she's bringing along with her for no reason.
1:05:10I'm not that bad. More collections, first premiere. Why is it in collections, piece of shit? That's a credit card I have. Yes, why is it in collections was actually the question, if you remember. I was using it to buy her more gifts. I was using it to pay bills, groceries. $722 on a$400 limit. Yeah. And to try to pay the Dave-ish kind of thing, app things. So do you like take loans out to pay for other things? Is that how that works? Sometimes. Okay. Which, I mean, again, I am not an anti-debt person. You can be smart with that. Debt can even be a tool to pay off debt. We have personal loans on CalebHammer.com.
1:05:50I have very good rates. We have car insurance on CalebHammer.com. We have lots of financial services now there. But either way, the thing is I'm not anti-debt, but it doesn't make sense to do if you, one, can't afford, I pay in for sometimes, but I can afford the payment. It makes sense. You don't pay in for if you can't even afford the initial purchase price. And we're not transferring credit cards and paying off debt with debt if you can't pay off debt because then you end up in debt even more. It's just hard, man. Oh, it's hard. Hey, it's hard. It's hard. Sounds like you never get a roof over your head that isn't in your parents' house.
1:06:22It's hard. Dude shut down at$120. He was a broken individual. Why are you betting your life on him? $125. In synchrony. Going to collections. I treat her good. Huh? I treat her good. It would be well, but, I mean, does he? Is this treating you well? Bringing you into this and not telling you? Hey, you shook your head yes that he treats you well. We learned about three individual lies so far in the last like 10 minutes. He treats you well. That's treating you well. That's what a partner does to treat them well. Sounds like you're going to be treated well. Huh? He'll do things for me. Yeah, like why?
1:06:57Yeah. It's not that bad. You ready to be treated well for the rest of your life? That's going to be fantastic. I'll stop lying. It's fine. Why the f*** do you stay with him? I see his potential. What? You're not a fix-a-man kind of person. What potential? How are you fixing his potential? What potential? He's a good guy. Like, he's a good father. In what way? He's a good father. Okay. A good guy is a classic guy that we screen record messages when he's crashing out on you. And she found the screenshots when we paused, by the way. We'll go through them in the post show. There's a lot of finances to go through here.
1:07:31He doesn't even know. That's right. He doesn't even know. You did what? Oh, my. You guys suck at being partners. That's why maybe we're not engaged eight months in. Huh? We're meant to be together. Uh-huh. Yeah. Says the people that are bringing two kids into the relationship each. I already launched Liquid Assets, my official Gamers Hub's flavor, Raspberry Apple. 1:08:55Capital One, you suck. That's me. Yes. Yeah, that's funny. It's all him. 384. Oh, even more. Jeez. Okay, collections. $1 ,346. Oh, if it's not collections,$822. Oh, if it's not collections,
1:09:22$965. Who would have thought? It's collections. Yeah, you're never getting money to get a car, to borrow business, to get a food truck, to get equipment. You're f***ing. Oh, if it isn't collections. Shocker. Blows my mind. $711. This dude could be paying off debt and improving his credit score in about five seconds. But he's choosing not to. Good f***. I finally have an account of yours. May you tell me what I'm looking at?
1:09:54Some of... You people. I can't see. I have to wear contacts and glasses. Well, now that it's closer, you seem to not know what it is either. I mean, some of these are payments. That's your car payment. That's like car payments. That's your car loan. What's the account I'm looking at you for? My car account. The loan.
1:10:19Yeah, it's the loan. It's very dark. It's an automatic... It's at 8.25%. What's the car? It's a Hyundai Elantra 2019. When did you get this? 2021. It's a bad interest rate, lady. Oh, it started out even worse. It started at like 11. She refunds. Great, that's your refund. It's$340.02 payment. All right. Balance currently started at$12 ,000. It's at$9 ,203.08. Okay. What do you think it's worth? Nothing. I went on Carvana and they said it was worth like$12 ,000. Yeah, no, it's five. Carvana, you don't get a value to Carvana. No, that's the KBB. What are you on about? What? You okay? We need to sell it.
1:11:06We need a minivan. Yeah, we need to sell it like bad. I had a minivan for a while, but. I mean, you can't sell it. Why do you need to sell it? So we can get a minivan. So we can carry like all our kids around at once. Oh my, why'd you get this car? Because it was before. No, we weren't together. It was before. You can't get a mini. You can't sell this. There's no selling this. You want to buy it? He's annoying. He's an annoying individual. Trying to have a real conversation here. It's not that bad. Are you just like repeating phrases? No. You've said it's not that bad about approximately four times when there's like just air and you don't know what to say.
1:11:43So you, it's worth about half what you owe. Okay. Where's the selling? I mean, I guess you could sell it, borrow$4 ,000, pay it off, and then pay off the four, but then you're going to borrow for a minivan? Maybe she is. I don't know what, I mean, this is her first that I'm looking at. You wouldn't be able to, you being a co-signer would drag it down. You can't get a minivan. Her parents would sign for her. Oh, my gosh. You're 30 and 35. You're 30 and 35. That is pathetic. Grow up. You will never learn anything because mommy and daddy will be there to bail you out at every turn. You never have to improve your life.
1:12:19They're resources and we're using them. Not her parents. Resources? That's incredible. I hope they see this. There's a little slip right there. Your parents are resources. I didn't mean it like that. You said it. And yes, you did. Your brain certainly thinks so. You guys are 30 and 35, even though you look like you're in your 50s. You guys are going to be cooked forever because you will never learn anything. I'm like, my parents have done pretty good so far. I didn't mean to call them resources. Resources are available, and we're going to f*** them when we can. I can get a loan. Probably another one.
1:12:53That's a good idea. What price minivan are you going to get? I was hoping for, like, I don't know, buy one with cash or something. Sell the car, whatever I get. Hey, what was my question? You people are so f***ing broken. What price minivan are you going to get? Whatever I can afford. Oh, my goodness. What price are you considering? Under$1 ,200. Under$1 ,200? Maybe. You're cooked. I don't know what you think the car market is like. I was thinking$10 ,000 at a minimum. $10 ,000. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because you want one that you're not pumping hundreds, if not thousands of dollars into to repair.
1:13:39This isn't Dave Ramsey. We live in reality over here. You ain't getting a car for under 10 that's going to be halfway decent. I don't know what to do. Yes, I know. Thank you for your contribution to this conversation. You're welcome. 1 ,200? What are you on about? I don't know how much cars are worth. Then why is this even in your plan? How are you planning about something you know nothing about? How are we going to take trips to go get my daughter and stuff with all the kids? We have to have a minivan. Yeah, we have to have a minivan. It's like a priority. Did you hear me argue against that? I'm arguing with the pricing thing.
1:14:12You guys are broken. You guys cannot have conversations. No wonder you guys fight all the time. You can't even listen to me. You're both unable to listen to me at the same time. Like you both heard the same thing that is something different than what I said. It's actually impressive. You talk very fast, to be fair. Fast for Kentucky? I mean, it's not that bad. Michigan. That's where you're from, right? Yes. Okay. It's just as bad. Very good. It's just as bad. As Kentucky? Yeah. Kentucky's not that bad Yeah I have your checking account You have$102 in it You're pathetic You're a father Because there's for bills Shut the f*** up What do you mean?
1:14:53Those bills, by the way, are an Apple subscription of some kind Even though he works there Another Apple bill Microsoft Store An Apple bill Apple pays probably Dairy Queen Dairy Queen A Steam purchase of$42 They're just bills They're bills, Caleb. They're just bills. He went into the gas station, got some bullshit. Energy drinks. Yeah. Fuck you. Get Gamer Subs. Here's the flavor. I would actually get liquid assets. We don't have any extra to give because they bought them all because it's so delicious. We'll get them eventually. Liquid assets or Gamer Subs. Get free samples. Link in the description below.
1:15:32You can only get free samples with my code Caleb. And then you can get it 10 % off when you figure out the flavor you like. It's 40 cents a serving. Make your energy drink at home. That's what you got to do. You're not stopping and getting those$8 drinks. That's crazy. You're insane, dude. I'm addicted. Prime seat, American Airlines, American Airlines. And you got some energy drinks again. You double fist, don't you? You walk out with two. Two energy drinks? Yeah. Yeah. It's like two for three or something like that. Two for like$6.50. Why would you not? Well, because that's 40 cents a serving.
1:15:59I mean, I agree with you there. But, but. I mean, there you go. It was math. It even tastes good, so. It does. That's why they all get it. Their opinion. Yes, their opinion. that it tastes good. Okay. Okay, but then I have another chicken account here. Machine Gun Kelly, come on. So the worst concert I've ever been to in my life. That's for my daughter. That was for his daughter. Birthday. Is your daughter cutting herself? She's an alt girl. Yeah, that shit's emo and horrible. What's wrong with me and emo? Cutting. I'm an elder emo. Not every emo cuts themselves. Cat's Eye Official, I don't know, Kroger, Applebill, Applebill, Applebill.
1:16:39and there it is more energy drinks apple apple what are these apple bills you're getting lots of apple give me show me your subscriptions on your phone hammer elite crazy there's one of them well that one's worth it chill out um chadjie okay pull it up and i'll get it and you pull up the screenshots too that what screenshots it's the it's the one that you said he didn't know that you didn't know what the do you mean well it's okay we'll get into it i want to see your thing. What am I doing? Because your dynamic is f***ing. You guys opened this so weird. I need to actually like, as we're closing the episode, I need to start seeing some things.
1:17:12Gotcha. This is the start? I thought you were going to show me what you sent your friend. Yeah, this is like her replies back to me. I sent her the whole... I just need the screenshots. Yeah, these are... I sent her the whole thing. She sent screenshots back of what she thought was alarming. Bad? Okay, then show me. Yes, right here. Yeah, alarming of... Alarming. GPT. Yeah, but hand release expiring. I've got to be on a budget. Piece of shit? Pay for it for a laugh then for me. I think you do because you're a guest on the show. Okay, yeah, you have a lot of subscriptions. But this, and clearly at the beginning of the conversation, your guys' dynamic is weird.
1:17:52She recorded your guys' text conversations to send to her friend. Again, as usual, without each other knowing because you guys are crazy. but I'm going to look at her now and see how you guys actually communicate. Will you read them to me? Cause I don't know what the shit is. Yes, I will. You were saying, I'm scared. I'm going to have a heart attack. You're saying, I guess you were fighting. And she says 10 times better way to say that you say, so excuse the out of me for being worried. She says, not letting me finish bitching makes me more stressed. Now I know you say, I, okay. He says, okay.
1:18:30why shake your head? She says, you want me to talk. What am I supposed to say to that? And you send this to who? Jen. Send this to your friend. That's f***ed up. That is like our personal shit. I needed like another opinion on it. My privacy feels so violated by you doing that. I needed another opinion on it because I didn't know That's between us though. I don't
1:18:52Can I get a minute? I really cannot take this. Okay. Not now. Take a minute. This is bullshit. She should not be Okay. You want to step outside? Can we let him outside? Yeah. The f***? I mean, I agree. That is privacy. If my girl was sending like screenshots, that is pretty f***ing crazy. Like what is wrong? And first of all, I mean, can we acknowledge? Like what the f***? There was nothing bad in there. Like what are you freaking out about? I think it's worse. Where does it get worse? Show me! Because there's literally nothing. I swear she's teasing me for like an hour. Do you just edge men? Is that your passion?
1:19:28because there was nothing there, I'll be honest. I understand, yeah, his privacy feels violated and you guys have weird trust issues, but show me what is bad because so far you're just being a normal woman these days where the most normal thing is considered a nuclear attack. Where's the bad thing, bitch? Here's this part. Is this a screenshot? Yeah. Okay. He says could throw a hole in every wall. He texted. Is he punching walls? No. Why do you think you're a victim? What the is wrong with you sending this to your friends? You say awesome. And he says, because no matter what I do, I set you off.
1:20:20And I think that's true. He's right. No matter what the he does, you're crashing the phone. I breathe I make you mad he says yes and you agree with it you say because he doesn't listen he says always my fault you say I will I'm glad you covered your own text that was her I will something something you how to handle me and you just ignore it he says how do I handle you let you vent I was letting you vent and I had to pee you got mad I said please calm down before you get sick you got mad I'm about to lose my fine. I'm literally so close to a psychotic break. And you circled that. She did. Yeah.
1:21:02Cause you are pushing him to a psychotic break. How is he in the. Never dramatic. Huh? No. Do you see it's impossible to communicate with you. Like this all started because I was in the bathroom sick as a dog throwing up and he was getting mad that I was even up there and he kept yelling at me. Well, like through text. I'm not seeing anything in the text that is like you. He's like, it sounds like he went up to pee. You got upset in this conversation. And he's very upset that literally he can't exist around the house without you freaking out. And that's fair. If someone, man or woman doesn't matter, just has to tiptoe around their entire house and it's not a safe place to be.
1:21:44So do I. He was literally. You're not saying that. He was accusing me of cheating while I was sick. He was so upset that I couldn't be down there with him because he needed me. Well, that's crazy, but that's not in here. Do you have something real to show me? Because so far, you are looking like kind of someone who just goes crazy by screenshotting that dude being upset. He was upset. He didn't punch holes in the wall. He said, I feel like I could. That was it. That was it. It wasn't even a threat. you're just spending money on bullshit. Tim Hortons, Sheen, Tim Hortons, Amazon, bullshit. You have like a couple hundred bucks in your checking account.
1:22:25You go to Tim Hortons and take a check at Applebee's. Tim Hortons, you spend more money than him on bullshit. Tim Hortons, restaurant. You're going out to eat. All the time. Bullshit. Buffalo. Wild Wings. Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit. Tim Hortons, Applebill. Bullshit. Tim Hortons. Well, you're the one spending it, not him. Amazon, Tim Hortons, Sheen. I thought you were the one at the authority to spend the money. Amazon, bullshit. Bullshit. McDonald's. Bullshit. Dude, he had to take a breather because his screenshots are getting sent to your friends. And little does he know, nothing's even in them.
1:22:58Sticky shake. Tim Hortons. Alta. Bullshit. Yeah. Trace Hermanos. More from her. And this is your savings. It went down. Your savings went down. So we can't say we're saving up for the wedding. It went down. It's part of the sick messages. Huh? Sick messages. You finally found some? Yes. Show me. It's the video thing again. Okay, I'll start here. You said, I don't feel good. I'm so sick. He said, sorry. After being there for you all day, can't do this for me. I need you. Well, yeah, it's a bit weird. I mean, you were saying you're sick. You said, babe, please don't do this to me. He said, whatever.
1:23:40Just so you know, I am not happy with how we are right now. Fair enough, because you guys are talking. I don't need this from you. I feel like I should rewind and see what you were saying. Go for it. You said, told you I would sleep with you tonight unless you don't want me to. I'll go down when the bub goes up. When the bub goes up, the kid. Okay. And he said, yeah, you can sleep with me. You said, oh. He said, I need to finish drying this up. He said, okay. Or you said, okay. He said he needs to make the bed. You said, okay. You want me to? He said, all right. Yeah. He said, are you sure? He said, yeah.
1:24:14what do I do with the clothes on the bed? You said, crap, definitely threw up. What do you want me to do? He said, I hope you're okay. You said, I feel like heel. I can't stop shaking. He said, do we need to go back to the ER? He's being very positive. You say, I don't think so. He says, okay, baby. You says, I don't know how long I'll be up here. He says, what are you doing? Question mark, question mark, hello. You said, babe, I'm throwing my guts up. I can't really text her now. He said, okay. You said, babe, I don't really know if I can go back down there. I can't stop. He says, please, geez.
1:24:44Okay, yeah, that's a bit beggy. He said, please, baby, I feel like I'm dying. He said, we'll come up there then. You said, nothing but stomach acid is coming up. You can't leave, kid name. He says, I'm bringing him too. I cannot refuse. I cannot refuse to go two nights without you. That's a bit weird. Yeah, definitely weird. And you said, don't disturb him. And he says, his mind thinks of horrible things. Yeah, you guys have issues, man. You said, I'm so sick. What could I possibly be doing? He says, I don't know anything. You said, I'm just throwing up my whole stomach. He says, if you don't want me to sleep with me, just tell me.
1:25:17Okay. Yeah. Okay. He's acting weird here for sure. He's not hurting you, but he's being a freak for sure. You said, are you serious? I'm throwing up. And he says, why can't you get a bucket and sleep down here with me? Okay. Yeah. Again, it's weird. It is very weird. You say because it's awful. Okay. I get it. I get it. Yeah. Now he's acting like a little freak there for sure. But you sent that to your friend? Like, again, I thought maybe, you made it sound like he was, you literally made it sound like he was blowing up at you and screaming at you in the text. Where that, he's just acting like a, definitely a freak for sure.
1:25:52And selfish, selfish. But he's not blowing up and yelling at you. I don't know what to do. And 401k, 14 ,000, very behind for our age. Where is he? Where is he? Can we get him? Need him for the budget. If he's ready to come back.
1:26:12there he is okay you feeling okay i mean for what it's worth the text didn't really show you doing anything you were definitely selfish with you she was like throwing up one day and you were acting a bit weird but she she made it sound like when you wore your headphones on you were like screaming at her and like no it's not like that so she's like trying to victimize herself in a weird way i don't really understand so i mean you're fine but just you definitely acted very weird when she was throwing up what was up with that i felt like she was hiding something That's weird and toxic of you. Get your shit together.
1:26:43I need therapy. Yes, objectively, both of you do. You can't be together if you can't trust someone. If you can't trust that person. Do you have rent, dear parents? What a joke. What a pathetic joke. You guys aren't paying off your... Fuck you. Utilities? Internet? No. No. How does the food situation work with a household? Groceries. We get groceries. For everyone? No, they get groceries for... Just for you guys and halftime three kids. Okay? You should be able to do$900 a month. You're meal prepping. Yes. I don't care. You're meal prepping. A few times a week, you're warming shit up. I can do that.
1:27:18You're using the cookbook and the meal plan. It's not that difficult. Phone bill, how much? Whose? Mine? His. My, I'm sorry. My phone is through my dad. So it's$84. And mine is$47 a month. Yeah, I would switch to healing. You need to get your own line,$15 a line. Really? Very good. Yeah, good service. Gas, vroom, vroom, drive, drive, how much? $80,$100 a month. $80,$100 a month? No, it's$82. Okay,$100. I filled the Jeep up,$20. That lasts for like a month, month and a half. $120. Car insurance, how much? Mine is$136. TP fund, how much? Okay, that's for you and the kids. Anything else to survive?
1:28:04$300. It's tampons. It's taking them to school activities, all that good stuff. It goes up and down, but$300 and then what is covered in that$300 is different every month. So yeah. Medical, health care, how much? Co-pays, medications, all that good stuff. I have Medicaid. My co-pays range from$25 to$50. What's your child support? Is it taken out from your pay? No, I pay, I can't. So it's$137 for my daughter. And then it's roughly$200 a month for my son. Yeah, okay. And what did you say your medical was total? coffees and everything? We'll say 50. Any gym? We want to, but no. Okay, gym, 50 bucks.
1:28:46Subscriptions, I'll put 50 bucks. You got any pets? Well, a cat. Cats for, yeah. Okay, 50 bucks, pet insurance. How much for cat food and litter? 60 bucks a month. Anything else that needs to be in this budget? What do you got so far? I'm sorry. The TP funnel would be for school supplies and things for the kids. Okay. Again, it changes what it goes to on a monthly basis, but yes. It's the catch-all for everything else. You make it more detailed in your dollar-wise budget. Right. You guys have leftover money,$2 ,491.24. Where does it go? Yeah, it's a bullshit, because she spends every dime on Tim Hortons and everything.
1:29:26Yeah, you missed that, but she spends all her money. She does. He makes my coffee now, so that's stopped. Wow, a basic minimum. $1 ,200 needed to survive. What was it? You don't even have to. Collections, we can negotiate later. Okay, the big, bad, scary debts right now. I mean, yeah, so let's save up$4 ,000. Get rid of this, but then you have to get$10 ,000. You'll get a$10 ,000 Jeep. Okay, let's pretend. Yeah, so let's make it. Let's make the car balance, actually. $14 ,000 is going to borrow four, sell the car, and pay that off. and then get a 10 ,000-hour loan for a minivan. Okay. Plus, I think$1.22 million.
1:30:12The thing else is some collections, dude. And you're paying all that off in 11 months. And then the collections, you're just negotiating or paying off one-to-one. Right. I got them. So that's actually pretty easy. It's like a year and then maybe another year to negotiate collections, then get a fully funded emergency fund, then move out. You can have your own place. That's really nice because your credit's a lot better. You guys can totally do that. you have a paid off minivan, everything's totally fine then maybe we get your own car as well then you're doing 50-30 or 50-25-25, you need to catch up in retirement 50 % of needs, which you can do and this business thing I'm very concerned about we'll talk more about that in the post show because I need to taste what you can do first and yeah you guys will be on check for retirement but we need to think we need to think career at that point but pay off all the debts in the car and the minivan and everything that you're going to get and that'll take 11 months and you'll be fine.
1:31:04Then fully funded emergency fund and move the fuck out and start catching up on retirement. It's really not that difficult. You just need to figure out what you want to do for your career. Okay, let's get the Hammer Financial Score but in the post show we're definitely going to taste this thing. We're going to go over the screenshot shit with him and get his takes on it because she was like trying to manipulate and do some weird stuff here. And yeah, just some other crazy shit that just massive fights they've been in recently. We got to break it down and I don't know how you guys are going to survive.
