In short
Bree’s finances after a controlling, debt-driving ex; whether she cheated (she denies it); and her current boyfriend’s role as she hides her debt and even lies about why she’s “going to the doctor.”
Guests (backgrounds)
- Bree, 26, from Houston, Texas. Works full-time as a receptionist/order-taker (no commission) earning about $42,000/year (~$20/hour). Moved from Maryland to Texas three years ago. Broke up with her ex on New Year’s Eve after a three-year relationship.
- Dan (host) and a male caller/guest: Bree’s current boyfriend, 24 (turning 25). He says he’s previously dealt with a partner’s debt and has trauma from that.
Key claims
- Bree claims most of her debt came from her ex: ex pushed for joint finances, she went out to eat while Bree paid, and Bree used Cash App Borrow/Afterpay. Bree says she never cheated; she claims her ex’s “evidence” is old Discord messages from years before Bree met her, plus seeing Bree and the boyfriend talking at work.
- Bree also claims she’s “putting money toward debt,” but the host argues she spends on “bullshit” (going out, Funko Pops, etc.) and has negative savings.
Notable examples
- Bree’s savings is reported as negative (host cites “negative $35.15” and that she owes her savings account). She has Cash App loan activity and last month’s outflow exceeds her payroll (~$2,461 payroll vs ~$3,279 outflow).
- Bree says her boyfriend gives her gas money and sometimes takes her out to eat, and she admits she hasn’t had the full finance conversation yet.
- She also admits her ex is threatening a lawsuit and that she lied to her boyfriend about going to the doctor to avoid telling him she was on Financial Audit.

I'm from Houston, Texas, and this is Financial Audit. Thanks for coming over to Austin. What do you do in Houston for a living, Bree? I have like an office position. So like I'll answer calls, take orders, really rudimentary office. It's like kind of like a receptionist. Yeah. This is a receptionist. This is like intern. Okay. Not intern. Like I'm full time. Taking orders. Customers call. They say, hey, I want this product.
2:16Oh, gotcha. I put it in the system. I take payment and then I give it. But not sales, no commission. No, no commission. No. I'm not a sales rep, exactly. Customers just call. Okay, well, cool. What do you make in this position? I make 20 an hour. I'm salary, so. 20 an hour salary. So what's your salary? I get paid bi-weekly and. What's your salary? What's your income? What's your pay? When I get paid every paycheck. When they say what your salary is, they're like, you make, this is your salary that you're accepting on a yearly basis. Oh, a year? I make$42 ,000 a year. Okay. Yeah. Listen, I mean, Houston, as far as all the Texas cities go, it's not the most expensive, but it's kind of in that middle range.
3:00But 42, still hard to stretch. And speaking of stretching, the quote I have from you before coming on the show is my getting me in trouble. Yeah. So if we're not making much money and your keeps getting you in trouble,
3:23How are you surviving in Houston on that? Well, it got me in trouble because So I moved to Texas from Maryland three years ago I've only been in Texas for three years Baltimore A little town named Cumberland It's like two, three hours from Baltimore So you know how Maryland is like big It gets little and then gets big again How? You've ever seen the shape of Maryland? I don't look at Maryland You have a picture of Michigan Also, I don't give a f*** Because I'm from Michigan Okay, f***, whatever Should I have a frame of, like, Illinois on there as well? You don't know what states look like? Relatively.
3:54You know the map? Okay, well, anyway, Maryland. I lived, like, in the mountains, like, countryside, real in the sticks type deal. Okay, well, me and her started dating, moved to Texas. She was really controlling with the whole relationship. So say she wanted to go out to eat. Which, by the way, it's interesting that every single X of a relationship that comes on here, the other person was always the bad one. Every time. That's interesting how that works. Keep going. Sure. So we would argue a lot about finances. She wanted a joint account. There was no reason for us to have a joint account. We lived in an apartment.
4:25We didn't have a mortgage. We didn't share bills, anything like that. She wanted to combine finances. I didn't want to do that. Saw no reason. So if she was hungry and I didn't feel like making anything, she would just always want to go out to eat and would never cook food for herself, never wanted a grocery shop. What is this, an ex-vent hour? Like, I don't, what is this? This is so pointless. I spent a lot of money on her in our relationship. When did you break up? A lot of money. New Year's Eve. Oh, okay. So that is actually recent. Yes. I just said that. My goodness, that would have saved me a few minutes.
4:56Sorry. I do not need to know. Oh, my goodness. My goodness, she did it to the dishes. It was like she would want to go out to eat. If she didn't have money for it, I would pay for it. And then if I wanted something for myself, it was not an issue. Why did you stay with her so long? If she was f***ing up your finances because she wouldn't contribute and you had to take care of her, why did you stay with her so long? I'm not giving you victim treatment when you decided to stay. Like, I would stay because, like, it would get to a boiling point and I would be like, I don't want to be together anymore.
5:29She's the one that caused the injuries? She would, yes. The injuries? Injuries? The scars, the eyebrow scars. No, that's just fashion. Fashion? Yeah. You know how people, like, get piercings and all that? It's just fashion. It's just hair. You just put a little slit. You've never seen people with slits in their eyebrows? Injured people. Injured. I've seen some scars. No, it's not a scar. No. She was never physically abusive, just mentally and verbally. So this is, again, every ex in the history of this show. And yet, okay. If it's every ex ever and I can never hear the other person's side, it's like, can I even believe it in the end?
6:03I have a hard time. I mean, believe what you want to believe. I'm just letting you know. She was really controlling, and a lot of my debt stemmed from our relationship. Why'd you stay? She would tell me she would change and that things would get better. And how many times does that need to be said until you are able to advocate for yourself? It was said ultimately three times. Then the third time is when I left. Okay. How long were you together? We were together three years and some change. Okay. She's through finances for three years. So you're saying everything here is because of her? For the most part.
6:30Really? Because the last time someone said that, it was like 5%. A lot of it happened while we were together. A lot of it happened while we were together. The debt. Like if I didn't have. For what? If you didn't have money to go treat her, you would just go into debt to treat her? I would use like the cash app borrow or use Afterpay. Well, why are you struggling today? Because we're four months in, four and a half months in from New Year's. Yeah. Why are you struggling today? I still have to pay all my bills. Yeah, most people get paid twice a month. Welcome to paychecks. Yeah, I have to pay all of my bills.
7:02Okay, welcome to adulthood. You're 26. Whatever money I have left over, I am trying to put towards my debt. Are you? I mean, yeah, I'm trying, yeah. What is trying? When you don't actually do it, how can you tell me you're trying? Like, what is that word? Whatever money I have left over after bills, after gas, after whatever necessities I need at the house, I'll put towards my credit card or towards the cash app. I'll put towards credit card, which is why I spend hundreds on miscellaneous bullshit, hundreds on going out to eat. That's not going towards the credit card. that's money going towards bullshit.
7:40A lot of it was when we were together and I just - No, this isn't. You going out to eat right now after your terrible two checks. Oh, crazy. How are you going to survive two checks? No one else has to deal with that. You can't tell me it all goes to the credit card when it goes to going out to eat and misleading his bullshit. It was going out to eat with her. No, this wasn't. You broke up New Year's. We're four and a half months in. Yeah. Do you not realize that time has passed? Yes. The debt that has accumulated. I'm not talking about that. I'm saying the money you have after your bills, you spend it on bullshit.
8:17Now it's not going towards that. You can't say that's her. She's not here anymore. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I mean, I just. So you're lying to me. How am I lying? Because it's not going to debt. It's going to bullshit. How are you not able to comprehend this as much? Is that the Maryland educational system? No. How Baltimore? I don't understand. I'm not from Baltimore. Allegedly. Not. You think all black people are from Baltimore? Yes. So. No. You think that's the hub for all black people is Baltimore? You think that's where everyone's from? Do I sound like I'm from Baltimore? Have you ever met someone from Baltimore?
8:54I crossed the street. You crossed the street? Were you scared? Were you scared? Were you scared you were going to get robbed? It was a joke. Okay. A joke. Okay. No. All is good here. Okay, good. I'm glad. There's no reason to be scared. I know you don't have a lot of black guests. I'm not scared. You have not had a lot of black guests. No, I just employ them instead. That's great. That's great. Love that for you. Because I believe in— Eagle rights? Well, let's not go that far. Creating a— Oh, oh. A better future for civilization. Yeah. Okay. I'm glad. How do you not understand what I am trying to say, though?
9:28For that whole thing. Okay. I am trying to say you are lying to me because it's not going to the cards. it is going to bullshit. So after we broke up, I had to obviously had to get my own apartment. We had, it was me, her, her mom and her brother in an apartment. And so when we broke up, obviously I couldn't live there anymore. So how to get my own apartment, this, that and the third, whatever, down payment, first months, all that. Yeah. Yeah. Did you have to emergency move out? Were you kicked out? No, yes. So we broke up New Jersey. I mean, it happens. I don't know. I found like the cheapest thing I could as fast as I could.
10:05So. What is as fast as you could? As fast as you could is you moved out and you immediately got a boyfriend. I didn't immediately get a boyfriend. You immediately got a boyfriend. You got a boyfriend pretty damn quick. We're four and a half months in. You already are locked down. The thing is, if your person keeps getting you in trouble, it's going to keep getting you in trouble. We realized we liked each other. And he treats me a million times better than my ex. That's great. While you're three months in while you're dating your ex for years. So we'll see how that goes. But if you're three months in and it's only been four months since you broke up, yes, you immediately got with someone.
10:36And if historically you keep getting in these situations where you're giving everything, going into death for the other person. Well, me and him have known each other for a really long time. We've known each other for, like, as long as I've been in Texas. Like, okay, so me and him worked together and nothing emerged until me and my ex had broken up. Allegedly, your ex accuses you. Well, yeah, because she doesn't trust men. She doesn't trust any men. No, she believes that men and women cannot platonically be friends. No, we have information from your ex that she thinks you cheated on her. She does think I cheated on her with him.
11:09That's what she thinks. That doesn't mean it's true. That does not mean it's true. I never cheated on her. Well, who do we believe? You say she's verbally bad. She says you're a cheater. Sure. Now, conveniently, you are with the guy that she accused you of cheating with. Okay, yeah. So she accused you while you were dating of, hey, you're cheating with him. And then conveniently, right after breaking up, you're with him. I cheated on her with him because at work when there's nothing to do, we would go out by the docks and we would hit our vapes, whatever. And conveniently, right after breaking up, you get with him.
11:41No, no. She pulled up to work one day unannounced and saw me and him like just standing there talking, hitting our vapes. So she was like, why are you so close to him? How does this change that you immediately got with him after breaking up? I didn't immediately get with him. Basically damn immediately. Within a couple weeks. Come on. We realized. You were official a month after. We were like, you know, things kind of just emerge. Like, things just happen. Like, he treats me so much better. He's like, you know, you really didn't deserve that. He was going through, he got out of a relationship around the same time.
12:13And him and his ex were going through the same thing. We were like, wow, we're both going through these problems. Oh, come on. We can all read through this. You can believe whatever you want to believe. You were also just endlessly complaining about your girlfriend all day work around this guy. His relationship's ending like that. Everyone at work complains about their home life. Everyone at work complains about their home life. I don't just sit here complaining about my relationship all day. You never vent to anyone. You never vent to anyone about things that are going wrong. About my relationship, but I really don't think so.
12:39No, I'm getting a head shake nose. Like your best friend, your parent. Like you don't vent. Well, no, because bad shit isn't happening. Okay, good. I'm glad. But bad shit was happening for me. So yes, the people that work. But with the person that also conveniently like, oh, he's getting out of a relationship. Oh, I'm getting out of a relationship. She said, oh, we definitely haven't been cheating. We're not together. Oops, we're together. We never cheated. Right. But your ex was seeing flirty messages with other men in Discord. That was years. She scrolled back years in my messages. I was at work.
13:12She was at home. She knew I was. She worked with you. So we did work together. She saw what was happening. No, we worked together. Her position, everyone in that position, that whole position got laid off. So she got laid off. She collected unemployment. So she was home all the time. I still had my job there. So when I was at work, she texted me like, oh, here are these guys. You're in the server with— Did you ever sleep with a guy in Discord? Yeah, but it was not when we were together.
13:38It was years before I even met her that I slept with this guy. And we're all from a small town. Like, things happen. Everyone knows everyone. We can still be friends after things happen like that. So good, so good, so good. New summer arrivals are at Nordstrom Rack stores now. 14:17Like, that's just the friend group. Like, it's—everyone can be friends. Like, it's only weird if you make it weird. So anyway, she saw these messages that were from literally years before I met her, but she was mad that I was still in communication with them. So when your pussy keeps getting you in trouble, it's because you're cheating. I'd never cheated on her. You wouldn't admit that right now. Do you have a Bible in here? I will right-hand swear on the Bible that I never cheated on her. Are you religious? That's like the holy grail of telling the truth, isn't it? Okay, well, isn't that the whole point of swearing on the Bible is if you believe in it?
14:48That's like the most way I can prove that I didn't cheat on her. No. So it wouldn't matter. Oh, well, I don't know how else to prove that I'm telling the truth. You're going to believe whatever. She saw you guys at work because she worked there too. She saw us next to each other. You were having 30 messages and you got together immediately with him afterwards. The 30 messages were with someone completely different from literally years ago. Like, don't get me wrong. I'm leaning on the side of, okay, you probably didn't, but just with how everything is lining up. No, because she legitimately, no, she was super trad in the sense where she didn't believe that men and women could platonically be friends.
15:19She did not believe that at all. even with her own brother. And maybe she was right though because you got with him immediately. Even when we were together, I would hang out with her brother. You broke up New Year's Eve. When was the first day he stuck it in you? Oh my God, not till like February. Like literally time. Watts, if you guys are three months in, that doesn't line up. That means you guys started dating before you. February. No, we started dating at the end of February. But then you're not three months in. We're coming up on three months. Careful. Your eyes will get stuck like that. What?
15:52Doing this? Yeah. You saw? Without eyes, it's— Your eye literally almost rolled in the back of your head. I had no one to tell me what I could and couldn't do. So, yeah, I had this extra money that I wasn't spending on her, so it felt good to spend it on myself. There it is. Cope the f***. Cope. You said your money after bills are going to— No, they're going after feeling good about yourself and slitting your eyebrows. That's it. It, yeah, it does make me feel good when I haven't been able to do anything for myself for three years. You lied to me. I was not able to do anything for myself for three years.
16:26Doesn't matter. You lied to me. You lied to me. Caught you in the lie. Hmm, only if I had more proof on the cheating. How did I lie? Because you said it would all go to debt after bills. No, it goes to bullshit, and you're saying it's because it makes you feel good because you never had to do things. And I would put money towards my debt. I'm not saying I would put everything that I had left over towards my debt. Yeah, I would put some towards my debt. But yeah, I would buy myself things to feel good. So it's a lie. You lied to me. How's that a lie? All going to making you feel good, not going towards debt.
16:56No, it is not. Some of it is going towards debt. Like a minimum payment, but that's the basic bare minimum. It's something. Not if you still spend on it. That just makes it go worse. I haven't spent on my credit card in over a month. Well, one, I don't even know because I have your most recent statements. But who knows? Everyone, when they apply to come on the show, changes behavior for a couple weeks. Doesn't mean it's permanent. Just like before you go on any kind of show, nothing suggests that. Look where you are. But even still - That's why I'm here. Oh my gosh, you're just hitting every catchphrase.
17:28Can you just f*** yourself in Minecraft? This is so annoying. You're hitting every catchphrase for like no reason. The thing, I obviously, the reality is everyone before they come on any show that involves changes, they do change for like a couple weeks. That changes nothing about the reality of your actual situation. It's a learned behavior. Things change. That's an excuse to do it? It's not an excuse. It's me saying, okay, I'm now going to change the way that I spend and change the way that I spend my money. Well, you told Colton you're better than all the other crazy people that come on the show.
18:02I feel that my debt is not as bad as the average guest. Okay, when you're spending it all on bullshit instead of the debt. I'm still not as in the hole as the average guest. Okay, which is why your savings is negative$35.15. Negative$35.15. Negative savings. You owe on your savings. I paid that up, I'm pretty sure. I'm pretty sure, yeah. I have it, no. My savings right now? Yes, no, I have it. Okay, well then I would have to check it because I do not remember it being in the negatives. I don't give a shit what you remember. I have it. It has nothing to do with your memory. It is in the statement.
18:41It is here. Okay, well then I'll fix that. You can't say you're better than guests. They don't have negative savings. Owing to their savings account has that something guests have. That is you. You're not better than them. How can you say that? There's a cash app loan. You have a cash app loan. That was a part of your income was a cash app loan. Cash app loan. Your payroll is$2 ,461. What was your outflow? Definitely more than that. Oh, definitely more than that, but you're better than all the guests. What was your outflow?
19:16Maybe$3 ,000? $3 ,279.22. You're better than all the other guests? I'm not as in debt as the other guests. Does it even matter, though, if you spend more than you make and the debt is getting worse and you're negative and you owe to your savings? Well, it'd be easier to fix. I'm not as in the hole. Not necessarily, because you're lower income. If your lower income and your holes is getting bigger, it is harder to reverse that and get out than a high income situation and a lot of debt who can usually still have like leftovers of thousands a month that they can throw towards it and chip at it. When you're going to have a leftover of maybe$100 or$200 a month, it's going to take years.
19:50And that's even if you can do that and even change your behavior. Change your behavior for two weeks before coming on the show. Congratulations. You did what every guest in the history of financial has done. Well, yeah. This was like, you know, okay, I really want to change things around. I want to make a difference. I'm glad you want to. That's good. But you can't tell me that you're all of a sudden good or you're better than the guest because you're doing, every guest that you've seen with worst finances changes their behavior two weeks before coming on the show. If I was going on a diet show, a workout show, a competition show, everyone would change for a moment knowing they're coming on the show.
20:20What is matter, what matters is your behavior before, which is more likely to be your lasting behavior afterwards. After the fire under your butt two weeks after coming on the show is done. That is what matters. It won't be done. I plan on taking this. Well, it always is done, no matter what. Sure, sure. But I really plan on taking this and making a difference. I do. That's why I came on the show. You're helpful. Okay, so you got into all this because of your ex-girlfriend, and you couldn't handle that. What does the current boyfriend know that you're leaning on now so quickly? He doesn't know about the debt because his last relationship had a lot of debt in it.
21:03And he had to, well, he had to pay towards the debt in his relationship and the debt was not his. So you're hiding the debt? We just haven't talked about it. What do you mean you haven't talked about it? You could talk about it if you wanted to talk about it. We just haven't talked about finances. But you could. You could. I'm not saying you necessarily need to a few months in, but you could. Especially if you know he has a past relationship negative with that. Yeah, because he's against it. I don't want to have an argument about it. He's your boyfriend. Should you not be on the same page relatively?
21:28Or what's the point of being boyfriend, girlfriend? Are you trying to make it last longer? Is this just something for fun? Yeah, I want it to last longer. Yeah, I want it to last longer for sure. Okay, then obviously you need to have the conversation if he's struggling with it. Yes, I know I need to have the conversation. And you guys have a completely diverging worldview. Okay, we can, that's the point. It's new, it's fresh. Yeah, we can grow. There's a lot of room to grow. I'm gonna, you know, bring it up to him at some point. Yeah. When? When the time's right. When's the time right? There's no reason to talk about it right now.

21:55Well, because he has that issue and you're just hiding it. Whenever it's smaller, it would be easier to talk about. Because so then he won't like, you know, freak out as much. That's what everyone says though. And that delays them talking about it forever. Freak out. Well, it really changed. Wouldn't it be fair for him to know what's going on if he's dealt with this before? What would it change? It's you being honest because you know he's dealt with this before. And like, hey, I'm working on this. I'm trying to deal with this. Exactly. And I am working on it. Yes, but he doesn't know. And he will know when it's better.
22:26But what if it doesn't? It will. I promise. Well, that means nothing because everyone promises that. That means nothing. I mean it. I really do mean it because I want me and him to work and I want my finances to get better. Okay. Well, I know you've lied about money in past relationships or you've lied in past relationships in general. So this is just a continuation. There is nothing wrong with a white lie. What's a white lie? A white lie. Like to simply save an argument. Like whenever you just don't feel like arguing, like that's what a lot of like happened with like me and my ex. Like everything was an argument.
23:06So yeah, sometimes I would just kind of not tell the whole truth to avoid the argument. It's tiring. It's exhausting. Okay. So that if you're actually ready to change, you're on board for this plan then. I am on board for a plan, but I don't really want, I want to keep living the way I live. I want to keep living the way I live. Well, but you might not be able to. That's what sacrifice is. Yeah, there's sacrifice. But how much do you really need to sacrifice? You know, like how much. Usually a lot to do anything that is hard. Depending. I mean, I don't, I don't know the, what do you not like about the plan?
23:45Drowning it in student loans with massive interest rates. I see it on the show all the time. People get a loan to advance their careers, only to be left with sky-high interest rates and crazy minimums that leave their paycheck gutted. Maybe you've already gone to a normal lender to try to refinance your private student loans, and they looked at your less-than-perfect credit score and hung up the phone. Maybe part of you even thought, yeah, that tracks. I guess I'm stuck. Stop it. You don't deserve to be buried in a high-interest loan for the rest of your life because you hit a rough patch. The banks aren't rejecting you because you're a lost cause.
24:15they're rejecting you because you're not profitable enough for them at a manageable rate. That's where Why Refi comes in. Why Refi works specifically with borrowers who can't get refinancing through traditional lenders. It's their whole thing. They refinance private student loans, so you're only paying interest between 0.1 % and 5.99%, and they legally cannot charge you more than that. They'll even customize your payments to get you out of debt at a pace that works for you. And if you need a co-borrower released from your loan, they've got a program for that too. Plus, their team is in Phoenix, Arizona, so when you call them, you talk to a real person.
24:45It only takes three minutes to check your rates and it doesn't impact your credit score. If you've been told no a million times, try Y-Refi. Head to Y-Refi.com slash hammer. That is Y-R-E-F-Y dot com slash hammer. Or call 888-Y-Refi 78. That is 888-Y-Refi 78. Break free from the high interest trap and get your finances under control once and for all. You suck with money, so you download a budgeting app. You start with the classic one, YNAB, but everyone just deletes it because it's way too complicated to use. So you go to every dollar. That's Dave Ramsey, the personal finance guy, right? Well, they're going to force you to use it his way.
25:20That's not very personal finances. Rocket Money, they got a lot of commercials, but they're owned by Rocket Mortgage. Guess what they want to sell you in the end? Then there's the new guy on the block, Monarch. Hundreds of millions of dollars of private equity raising so far. But private equity doesn't have the best track record when it comes to private data. That's why I like DollarWise. built by these people just like you for people just like you. No private equity, no gimmicks, just the best budgeting app there is. Download it now, start the free trial, dollarwise.com, link in the description below.
25:54I want to be able to buy a Funko Pop when I see it or - A Funko Pop, how is that more important than your future in any way? It makes me feel good. It makes me feel good. Yes, it's like, it's the instant gratification of like, you know, okay, so whenever you're feeling bad about whatever situation you're in. And, oh, it's the same as, like, you know, a sweet treat or buy a little, like, some people will buy a little boo-boo. Like, you buy something to make yourself feel better. And that's what sacrifice is, saying I'm not going to feel better in this exact moment so I can feel better for the rest of my life.
26:32Well, yeah, of course. That's what sacrifice is. That's exactly what I'm talking about. Well, sure, sure. You can save all the money in the world for a house or for retirement and stuff like that. But like, well, yeah. You don't necessarily need to for a house for retirement. Absolutely. Well, yeah. But like truly, how much do you need to save before it's like, okay, I've saved this much. I can now spend. Well, usually 20%, but that's after. What are you talking about? In the plan, I give you 50%. I need 30 % on wants, which is a shit ton of money. Maybe not for your income situation, but it's still a large percentage.
27:03And 20 % uninvested. If you hit that 20 % on saving for retirement, you can spend a lot of money still, a larger percentage, 10 % more. But that's after you have a fully funded emergency fund and you've paid off all bad debt. And you have not done that because you'd rather get the Funko Pop today. Well, yeah, I'm tired of being sad. So yeah, if I buy myself - Why are you sad? You have a new boyfriend that's allegedly better and all this stuff that you hide things from anyway. Yeah, he is. He's really nice. He's really sweet. He's great. But yeah, sometimes when I'm feeling bad about my debt and not having money - You feel bad about not having money, so you spend money?
27:36It makes me feel good. It makes me feel good. Okay, you need healthier coping mechanisms. I probably do. That's why I'm here. I'm going to do what makes me feel good, and that helps me sleep at night. So you're okay being in bad debt and not having retirement for the rest of your life then? Because that's what that alternative looks like. what's retirement really going to do for someone in today's age? Being able to retire. What do you mean? But dude, like I'm going to be 90 by the time I'm able to retire. Well, yes, if you don't save for retirement. Correct. What are you talking about? Of course.
28:16That's just. That's why you save for retirement. You're 26. You have time on your side. You have compound growth on your side. But then like what's the point if I'm just still working and still. So you're not working at 65. In your picture, you're working until 90 because you didn't save. I don't know. I just don't see it like that. How do you not see it? Make the math make sense. Tell me. What's the argument? Right now, I am paying my bills. Are you? Because your boyfriend gives you money sometimes. Your boyfriend at three months. He gives me gas money. Yeah, he'll give me gas money. Yeah, if you're getting gas money from your brand new boyfriend, that's pathetic.
28:51He is nice to me. That's nice, but you need gas money. He's like, you deserve this. Yeah. What do you mean you deserve? sugar baby treatment. You're getting gas money from a brand new boyfriend that you definitely did not cheat on with. I didn't cheat on him, but he feels I deserve it. What's the I deserve it? He is a gentleman. He opens doors for me. He calls me beautiful all the time. That's different than you getting money from him to pay for things because you can't deal with it. He feels I deserve it because I'm a good girlfriend. Or because you can't pay for gas. He thinks I deserve it, so I'm not going to say no.
29:23Which one is it? You can't afford gas, so you deserve it. Well, sure, yeah, I need the money for gas. Exactly. There it is. And he gives it to me. And he gives it to me. So what's the problem? That's the problem. Your boyfriend, your new boyfriend has to give you gas money. He doesn't have a problem with it. That's not the problem. That's not the point. How are you so stupid? That's not the point. The point is that you were having to borrow from your boyfriend. And you're telling me you're better than other guests. It's not borrowing. It's not borrowing because he gives it to me. Take from your boyfriend, yes.
29:52He gives it to me. Oh, my gosh. Yes. You just keep repeating the same couple words over and over again and you think that all of a sudden changes something. Listen, you have to take money from him in order to pay gas, a necessity for living. That's how f*** you are. You're not better than other gas. You're not doing well. You're not even, retirement's not even in the picture of the conversation. How long would it really take to save up money for retirement? Decades. But like, I feel like I still have time to do that. No. How? Because you'll be in bad debt forever, and the indication of that, the proof of that, is that you are getting gas money from your boyfriend.
30:33Sure, if he helps, sure. But, I mean, even if I started retirement— Are you sure the extra financial problem if he has to give you money, his current girlfriend? He likes to help me. It makes him feel good. That is not the point. Was that my question? Was my question if it makes him feel good or if he wants to? Was that my question? No, it wasn't. Stop being a dumb fuck. Are you sure you can say that you were the problem in the previous relationship when in your current relationship your boyfriend has to get you gas? He doesn't have to. He chooses to. You said that you wouldn't be able to get gas without it.
31:07And I wouldn't, but he chooses to give it to me. He chooses to out of your necessity. So you cannot tell me that you were not a problem at all in this previous relationship financially. I don't see myself as a problem in my past relationship. I really don't. How? Do you see what you're doing now? I provided everything for her. I paid for everything for her. So I don't see myself as the problem financially in my past relationship. If she didn't have money for something, I paid for it. And then when I didn't have any money left over from paying everything for her, it wasn't a problem. It was I overspend.
31:41I don't know how to save my money because all the money I had went to her. How do you feel that that is now you in your current relationship? I don't ask him for money. I don't ask him for money. Why does he give it? Because. Not because it makes him feel good. How does he know you need gas money in that moment? He gets in my car. I mean, he gets in my car. Like, he can look and see where my gas. So when you guys are driving together, he gets gas money? He can see when I'm low on gas and be like, oh, here, fill up. Like, I don't ask him. Anything else. No. He doesn't buy meals or get caught. That's normal, though.
32:17It is normal, but it is still money, especially if you're still going out to eat. He'll take us out to eat. He'll buy us food. And then you're still buying food. I mean, yeah, I buy groceries, yeah. Going out to eat is not groceries. Dummy, stop. I mean, I'll buy coffee and lunch sometimes, yeah. Uh-huh. Instead of putting it towards debt, which was your entire argument. But I put some towards debt. It's not like I'm not putting anything towards it. Minimum monthly payments is basic. Yeah. And I'm doing that. Why don't you call your boyfriend? Let me see what he thinks. I can try calling him. He's at work right now.
32:49He might not answer. Yeah, try to call him. Okay. I mean. and he might not answer. So try to call him and find out. Why are you arguing me? I'm just letting you know. He might not answer. And I have terrible service here. Oh, my goodness. This is every excuse in the world. An excuse that I have terrible service? That's the building. Just call, and if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. My goodness, you don't have to. Oh, my gosh. You're so difficult. Hey, can you hear me? Yeah. Hey, what's up? Hey. someone wants to talk to you. Okay. Hello? Why the f*** are you having to give your girlfriend money?
33:32He doesn't have to. Just because I'm just nice. I'm just nice like that. Yes, you're nice, but the fact that you're having to. He doesn't have to. Shut up. Am I talking to you or am I talking to him? Talk to him. He's going to say the same thing. Shut up. You're so annoying. I don't feel obligated at all. I really do it out of the kindness of my heart. Okay, but if you didn't do it, she wouldn't be able to afford gas. I didn't know that. Don't you have trauma in your previous relationships with financial issues? Absolutely. Absolutely. I was in a toxic relationship for over half a decade, and I spent a long time helping her pay off her debt.
34:16How old are you? He's 24. 24. He'll be 25 this year. Okay. Okay, so you had to pay off all her debt. How much debt is your current girlfriend in? I'm not sure. We haven't really talked about that. We've only been dating a couple of months now. I agree. It is kind of— I'm not into it. It is pretty early for, like, the big in-depth finance talks, but because of your previous issues with your ex, would that not be something that, if she cared, If she loved you, wanted to kind of get out of the way so that you weren't going down the same situation again. There's just no reason to talk about it. How much debtor was we talking here?
34:57I didn't really know that she was in debt. $15 ,586.97. She has one, two, three, four, five, six, seven individual debts. Her savings is negative$15. She owes to her savings, so that's an additional debt right there. and she spent a thousand hours more than she made last month.
35:20That's more debt than my ex had. Why? Can she hear me? She can. Yeah. Is there any specific reason that you were holding this for me? No, there was just no reason to talk about it yet. But you know his past. So why bring it up right now? You, well, that's the thing. You knew that I spent over half a decade already helping somebody pay off their debt. Well, I was never going to ask you for help to pay towards my debt. So that's why I wasn't going to stress you with it. Until you can't. You lose your job and something happens. He's your boyfriend. Exactly. We're together. Like, this is kind of a big thing to keep for me.
36:04But I wouldn't put him in that position. Why did you? I said I'm not going to make him pay for my debt. But why didn't you just tell me? I didn't want you to, like, reconsider things. Isn't that manipulative, Dan? This is a big thing to reconsider. But it's not your problem to deal with. That's why I just was going to handle it. You're right. It's not my problem to deal with. I've dealt with this shit for too long. And it's weird that you're hiding it. I was never hiding it. We just never talked about it. You never talked about it, but you did not engage. I did not see a reason to. Yeah, this is a hell of a thing to hide.
36:47I didn't want to stress you out. Hey, I'm just going to let you know. That's the excuse that every single person that has come on in a couple this episode who ends up hiding even more things in the future. That's the exact excuse they use. I didn't want to stress you out. There was no reason for that. I'm just going to let you know. That never ends up well. I just don't have the energy for something like that. I just don't. So, like, I do agree. Maybe we didn't need to have the full conversation yet in a traditional relationship this early. But she knows your past. She's able to speak very well on the struggle you dealt with.
37:31Would it not make sense in your opinion that then she would have brought this up knowing your struggle in the past? Absolutely. Absolutely. I was in a relationship where I never seen my own money. So I just don't want to hop into something like that again. I understand that you say it's not my problem, but we're together. It's going to be my problem. But it's not your problem right now. It's not something— Yeah, but he knows it could be in the future. But what about the future? But I would never concern him with my problems. You can't say that. You have to. We're together. You have to concern me with your problems.
38:10I mean, sure. If like we were about to make a big investment together. Yeah. Then I would be like, hey. Isn't you guys dating an investment in each other? Financial investment. Sure. It's the whole picture. But we don't have any conjoined finances or anything right now. Like everything is separate. But that's still going to put a hole in any of my future plans. If I do want to make an investment. But that's so far future. What? Are you kidding me? my debt right now doesn't like affect you and i don't know but it will in the future if we're gonna stay together why don't you understand that and and then we could deal with it in the future but right now it's not something that's a problem are you serious yes it's not something that's a problem i i can't i can't do this i can't do this i what
39:05I have another thing to tell you if we're being honest about debt. Yes. What? Whenever me and my ex broke up, like I said, I had to like immediately get my own place. So I had to break the lease at my old apartment. And so they're wanting like, I don't know, like$2 ,000 for like. I didn't have that debt. That's additional. Well, it's not like an actual debt. They're just saying, hey, we want you to pay for this. That's a debt. So not only do you have other debts, but you have a debt with your ex? They want me to pay towards the apartment because I broke the lease early. And I feel like I shouldn't have to do that.
39:56Shouldn't have to. I don't live there anymore. Any marriage is on them. That's another worry. I thought you were going to cut off all ties with your ex. I don't understand. This is a lot to hide. We got to have a serious talk because this is really affecting me right now. I don't even know what to say. Well, I'm just going to let you know because I guess this is honesty moment. Her ex is currently threatening her with a lawsuit, but she didn't want to tell you. She says she'll sue anybody. I know, but you specifically didn't tell your boyfriend. Because she's crazy. So why am I going to be like, oh, yeah, my ex said she's going to sue me if I don't pay her.
40:35She would threaten anything. But you just won't tell him anything. Because why would I stress him out? Why would you tell— Why would I stress him out? Stress him out. That's your answer for everything, though. Just you're allowed to say things. Because I'm going to handle my shit. I'm going to handle my own shit. Why am I going to put that on his plate? There's no reason for him to know and stress out about it. That's my problems. Look, that's a lot of debt. And I know around what you're making right now, this is going to take a long time. Yeah. Yeah, but I would handle that. I wouldn't ask him to help.
41:12What do you think about her negative balance and her savings? She actually owes her savings account money.
41:21I, this is all news to me. I'm already in shock. I just, like, I didn't even, because she never asked me for money. I just, I knew she was on her own. I didn't know she had debt, though. I just, I was just giving money because, like, oh, you know, she's paying rent by herself, like, roommate. See, that's what I mean. Your service is terrible in here. The call probably dropped. You still with me? Yes. Can you repeat that last sentence? I just knew that she was on her own and didn't have any help from her roommate. So I was just like, I didn't feel obligated. I was just giving money to be nice. I didn't know she like actually needed it.
42:05Well, you're giving her that money to be nice. And as you were saying that, a notification for Pokemon Go popped up on the phone. And usually when that happens on the show, I haven't looked into it yet, but most guests spend$100 to$200 a month on Pokemon Go. I haven't played Pokemon Go in years. I just never deleted it. Okay. I have some shinies on there. Also, I did just find out that even though we're reimbursing her on Venmo, it actually might be a net loss because apparently she owes Venmo money as well. I didn't know that either. So it just keeps stacking. I haven't used Venmo since like high school.
42:35What else do you owe? I think that's it. I really think that's it. I don't think there's anything else. Are you sure? I think so. This dude had to deal with a shitty relationship in the past where he was paying someone else's debt. I don't think you have to tell someone two months into, well, two months into dating, I don't know. That is when we start having conversations. But even still, like if you wait a little bit longer, it's not the end of the world. Three months, maybe. But you know his problem. It would have only been fair for him to know what is going on in your life. And tell him that you're working on it, yes.
43:11Not asking for help from him, but to let him know what's happening based on his past. Wouldn't you agree with me, guy? I agree that I've had my kindness taken advantage of, and I don't want that to happen again. I really don't. I never asked him for money. I never asked him for money. I never would. In the future, whenever you said it's not a problem right now, but when it is a problem, that's what it'll feel like. But I wouldn't put that on your plate. You can't say that. You can't promise that. You don't know what happens in layoffs and stuff. You can't say that if we're together. Listen, before I let you go, I just want to know what's going through your head right now.
43:52And I'm sorry that you're learning this all at once. No, no, it's, I'm in shock. I, you lost some trust points with me. I need to have a serious talk with you. I'm heartbroken, honestly. Yeah, that's fair. That is fair. She said she's sorry with a smug, non-believing face. How's that smug, non-believing? I am sorry. I didn't want to stress him out. That was the whole point is I didn't want to stress him out. Now he's worried about it and it's not his problem. All right. Well, have a good rest of your day. You too. What the fuck is wrong with you? You told him you're going to the doctor today to hide that you're coming on financial audit.
44:33Like all this shit. Like what is wrong with you? Can you tell the truth about anything? Yes. What the fuck is going to the doctors? He's your boyfriend. You can just say things. I dealt with my ex for so long. Your answer was just about because he didn't need to know. That's what you're starting to say. I didn't want to stress him out with it. I didn't want to stress him out. That's such bullshit. But you lied about where you're going. You didn't just not, you could have just not said where you're going, but you literally lied. Well, I'm not at work. You said you were going to the doctor. Because I'm not at work.
45:04Huh? If I'm not going to work, I have to say I'm going somewhere. But you had to lie about where you're going. So you lied. Sure. Because I didn't want to tell him I was coming here to do this. Yes. For this to stress him out? Yes. That was the whole point is that I didn't want him to stress out about my problems. You don't get to choose that for him. But that's my problems. It's not his problem. It actually is his problem now that his girlfriend is lying to him. Now it's his problem because you wanted to call him. It wasn't his problem. It's been his problem. He just didn't know because you're lying to him.
45:36It was not his problem. He has a lying girlfriend that he can't trust. He can. No, you're literally saying that if you cheated on him and if he didn't know, it wouldn't be his problem. But the moment he knows then it's his problem because he found out That is not the same. Because he found out his girlfriend's a cheating whore. No, that's not the same thing. Like you likely were with your ex. And I'm not a cheater. Uh-huh. Anyway. You're lying about pretty much everything really not helping with your case there. I, if I'm the bad guy I'm the bad guy. But I. Come on. Look what you just did. The dude's like.
46:08Well, because you wanted to call him. Yes, but he should have known this information regardless. And he would have known eventually. Eventually, eventually. never comes for people like you. It never does. You just say the same thing. You just immediately, you can't rebut what I say, so you just say it again. I feel like, I just feel like there was no reason for him to know right now. It was my problem to deal with and I was going to deal with it in my time the best way I could. Put you down this history. It's kind of gross. Exactly. And he agrees with me. And he agrees with me that you should have told.
46:38Well, yeah, of course he's going to say that. Of course he's going to say that. Well, there you go. That's your partner, the person you're building a life with now. Yeah. Who thinks how you did this was wrong. I can't fix it now. No, but you keep defending it. Because what else is there to do? The alternative. And what's the alternative? You would have told him earlier. But you keep defending that you didn't. Okay, well, now he knows. So now it is what it is, and he knows. And if he stays with me, then great. We can work past it. And if this is too much for him, then— If you or your child spent years growing up on social media and experienced serious mental health struggles, you should hear this.
47:21Recently, a jury ordered Meta and YouTube to pay millions for their role in designing and promoting addictive platforms. 50:05Yeah. Do you really? Purposefully? I go there because it's too hot out. So I just do the treadmill. You only do treadmill. Yeah. Maybe you should focus on leg day. Okay. I saw your feet. I don't know what to say. Your ankles are like that big around. Is that true? Yeah, your ankles are so small. You're really top heavy. You're really top heavy. Well, yeah, I got a fat belly. I don't know. Is this bad chat? What are we doing? What are we doing here? Okay. Let me know, chat. Yeah. I think she's trying to find a way to get back at me after I just ruined her relationship because she's a piece of shit.
50:45I'm not a piece of shit. And the relationship's fixable. Oh, wow. You'd be great to be with. It is fixable. What a dream. Everything's fixable. Okay, so you can't borrow anything from what I think here is cash app because you've already hit your max. Yes, that is cash app. Why are you owing? Why are you at that overdue, by the way? I wish I saw that before I could even talk to him. Well, shit. Okay, listen, you're not only at that limit of$600 that you owe cash app, but you're over to your payment. Well, my limit used to be higher. My limit used to like be doubled that. Wait, so that's okay that you're not paying the sum time?
51:26No, I didn't say that. Then why was that your response? I'm confused. Because you're saying I'm at the limit. Your responses are never. You said I'm at the limit and my limit is what's higher. Well, you're at the limit now. I don't care what it was. This is what it is. Why do I care about was when is is? I'm just letting you know. Thanks for the fun fact. I'll remember that in trivia about your life. Okay, thanks. This is maxed out today. Okay. And you're not paying it on time. So if you're not paying it on time, you're at the actual max today. Now you're not doing better than Gus and he doesn't even know that you're behind the payment.
52:01So what the f***? This is another hide. It's another hide from him. You're hiding that you're not even making the minimum monthly on time. When you even said, my money is going towards paying debt at the beginning. F*** you! It is past due! Overdue! Mm-hmm. Why? Why didn't you pay? When you needed to. When you were supposed to. I had other bills that came first. Oh, going out to eat. The critical necessities. The La Boo Boo or whatever the fuck you're getting at Pop Mart. Funko Pop. Funko Pop. That's right. No, I don't go to Pop Mart. Did you? Okay, Funko Pops. Funko Pops are different. Funko.
52:40Okay, very good. You're getting your Funko Pops. That is more important. They're like$15. I mean, you told Colton in the green room, like, I hope my reimbursement comes to Cash App today so I can put, you know. I said if it went to Cash App, that would be great. That would be great so that it pays that off so I can borrow more money. That'd be great. Yeah. Maybe more Funko Pops. I put that part in, but. I enjoy my fungal pop collection. What was more important than making a payment towards this maxed out? I had other bills. What the? How can you say that if where your money is actually going is going not to eat and other bullshit?
53:14I had other bills. I had other bills. And I. Oh my gosh. Literally, I swear. This is how, this is how something goes for you. I ask you a question and you're like, well, the answer is this pen. And I'm like, okay, well, tell me about the pen. Well, the answer is this pen. Like you're only able to say what you've already said. You can't go into further detail about anything. You're incapable of literally getting past the first brain cell in your brain. I'm telling you, I'm giving you an answer. No, no, no, no. You're literally just repeating the same thing over again. I said, why aren't you making the payment?
53:45Well, there's more bills. Okay, tell me about your bills. What's happening? Where's the money going? Well, there's more bills. My other bills, I have rent. I have my car payment. I have car insurance. I have internet. I have electric. I have my phone. I have to put gas in my car. Well, he pays for that. Not all the time. He mostly pays for that. Come on, even he was basically saying that. And I, sure, he doesn't pay for gas all of the time. I still put gas in my own car. But after all of that said and done, I then will go out to eat. Funko pops, bullshit, miscellaneous dumbassery. I've paid all my bills, though, so why can I not have extra money?
54:23This is, you have not. You owe the$600. It's maxed out. your past due. You can't, you literally cannot say you paid all your bills. This is a bill. It'll get paid eventually. Okay. So there's the eventually, the same eventually that is, you will tell him. So you see how, how valuable that word eventually is for you? Everything comes in due time. Everything comes in due time. What is that due time? Actually, in fact, the due time was officially due already. You just chose not to. So the due time has already happened. There were things that were more important than that. Funko pop. There were other things that were more important than that.
54:56What? You can't describe. I mean, you talked about rent utilities, but you're making it sound like there's something else. Well, no, it's just that. What are you hiding? Is that him? No, that's not him. Why is it on ring? So I can hear when it goes off. So you can hear. You're one of those in public, allowing loud noises to just. Loud noises. It's public, dude. God forbid someone has their ringer on in public. Oh my God. It's not like I'm at a library. God forbid I have my ringer on. I want to be clear when I say you people, I don't mean black people. Okay. But why do you people? Go ahead. You people?
55:35No, I care about public spaces that you're in. Not black people. People like you. Why can I not have my ringer on? Is that a crime? There's a setting. You turn it on and off. It is a choice. Unfortunately, it's actually not a crime. It's a choice. You're making the selfish choice. How is that selfish to have my ringer on? Dude, you have to turn the ringer off when you get your phone. It comes on. I feel the buzz. I feel the buzz in my pocket. Of ringing. Okay, my phone's not in my pocket, so I wouldn't feel a buzz. So I would have the ringer on to hear it ring with my ears. The thing is, in public spaces, the rest of us have decency and try to keep it nice and peaceful for everyone else to exist.
56:16Oh my God, is it going to ruin your day that you heard someone's phone ring? It's not just about ruining it, it's the mindset. Do you go on speakerphone in public? No. Listen, the ringer of self isn't the worst thing in the world. It's just the overall behavior. And I thought you were really going down the pipeline of like all that other bad stuff too. But I'm glad you don't because it is really bad when people disturb, when people just are selfish. And I try. Exactly. That's the whole, that was, see, that's why I didn't want to tell my boyfriend in a sense. And whatever. I try to not stress other people.
56:44I am a people pleaser in the sense of like, I want to make others happy. I want to make sure other people are comfortable. Which is why you hide things from the boyfriend. You don't tell him anything. You're not a good girlfriend. So I'm not going to stress him out. All you do is suck him. And that makes him happy. So. Exactly. So you think you can just hide things from him. So if that makes him happy, great. Yeah, I'll do my job. You think because you give the good gluck a couple months in. And I do. So yeah, if he's going to send me money for gas after I give him some Gawk 3000, then yeah. And whoever you cheat on with him will also know how good it is.
57:15No, he's actually the best boyfriend I've ever had. So I would not cheat on him. He's the best boyfriend I've ever had. He's a golden retriever boyfriend. He's literally so sweet. Three months in. He's literally so sweet. He's such a gentleman. No, he literally treats me like a princess. He's so nice. Okay, yeah, I don't think he's very happy with you. Well, yeah, he probably isn't happy with me now. Nor should he be. Sure. And I don't think enough gluck gluck will make up for the fact that you are a hider. I don't know. All men are convincible with a little gluck gluck. Yes, but then the post not clarity.
57:36He realizes he has a b**** in his bed. Okay, and then I... Girl, see how... Okay, the thing is, and this is what's so annoying, is like we told you to put it on mute. The also other thing is, it's not in your purse. It's right there. It can be on mute. You are someone who doesn't care about the environment. You just said to call my boyfriend, so you just gave me the phone. You just gave me my phone. Yeah, but you could have muted it after the last call. Okay, well, sorry, I didn't mute it. That's just how I keep the setting. You could mute it now. Exactly. That's what I'm saying. You don't recognize the space you're in and how it's inappropriate and rude that your phone is going off in the middle of filming this episode.
58:13Okay, well, I turned it off. What is wrong with you? Okay, well, I turned it off. Good. After I had to tell you after the second time, because you had no semblance of courtesy. It was, that was my ex. That was the ex. That was the ex? Yeah. Okay, well, we'll call him in the post show then. We already, oh, your ex. The ex. That was my ex. What the f*** does she want? Is she going to threaten to sue again? No, because, because she knew I was coming here. And so, but she didn't, she didn't know. Oh, the ex knows you're coming here, but not the current boyfriend. She didn't want to be, well, because a lot of my finances were involved with her.
58:46I'm going to call the boyfriend and tell him that you told the ex you're coming, but not him. She didn't want to come on the show. She's your ex. Why the f*** would she be here? I'm not saying. I wanted her to come anyway. I'm just saying a lot of my— So she just called you and said, I don't want to come on the show! No, she's b***ing because she knows a lot of my money went to her, and God forbid she looks like the bad person. So to confirm, your$600 that you owe to Cash App is because of her. I borrowed a lot of money. You are behind on making the payment because of her. I borrowed a lot of that money.
59:23You chose a Bumble Pop over it because of her. Yeah, you're lying, bitch. Let me see a picture of her. She's very masked. She's very... Oh, I knew you had issues. She is tweaking out. Oh, my goodness. Yeah, she's crashing out, dude. I don't know. That's fine. No, dude. She's crazy. This was us at the Renaissance Festival last year. She's very mask presenting. She wanted. That is a man. She wanted to transition. That's a man. She wanted to transition. Ah, that makes more sense. Show me a picture of the current. The new boyfriend. Oh, well, here, I'll show you this. Here, we have, I turned it around so it wasn't on camera.
1:00:04We have, like, the Polaroid. You're so gay. Why? It's cute. That's us. He's so sweet. He's, like, 5 '11". He's like a goofy white boy. That must be it, right? He's like a goofy white boy. I love him. Okay. He's so sweet. No. So, yeah, my ex really wanted to transition. I'm just going to say, listen. Go ahead. Go ahead. Go ahead. Dude looks like what? Every guy who complains that he can't get with anyone looks like. And he just broke up with a five-year-old. What do you mean by that? Five-year relationship and then got her. Which means that if you're out there not getting a girlfriend and a weird incel, It is your fault because everyone can get someone and that was proof.
1:00:46He's so sweet. He's so nice. Realize how she doesn't say handsome. It's all, he's so sweet. No, he is handsome. I call him my sweet angel baby boy. He's so sweet. Oh, yeah. That's what every guy likes to hear. Oh, you're so adorable. He is. Okay,$0 in cash app went down from$25. So that's great. Smoking more. So that's what we do instead of paying down our debt because that's$20. It helps with stress. Okay, well, you're stressed out more because you have a nicotine addiction. It helps. When I'm stressed. You're stressed out more because you have a nicotine addiction when you're not hitting the vape.
1:01:17Nicotine helps. When I'm stressed. Until you need to hit again. Then you have to hit. But when I'm stressed and I take a hit, I feel better. Yes. Yes, that is true. And then that costs you$20 instead of paying down your debt. They last me like. Which is adding more to stress. They last me. A vape will last me like two weeks. Like paycheck to paycheck. Is that a lot? I don't know. That's not a lot. Paycheck to paycheck every vape. No, because most people will go through a vape. Paycheck to paycheck vaping. No, most people will go through a vape in like three to four days. Like mine lasts. If that's your brag is that you're addicted only twice a month, go just off your entire life.
1:01:49Well, there's some people that smoke a pack of cigarettes a day. Oh, good. There's people that do heroin. This doesn't make that good. Sure, but I'm saying I'm not. Like it doesn't make sense to me. There are people on my 600-pound life. It doesn't mean I'm healthy. You see how that works? Leg day. Leg day is not going to make or break this, but I get it. Cash app, well, you send money in. And then you went and said, got some bullshit or gas. Hard to sell with that price. For where is it? Shut up. I'll tell you if it's gas or bullshit. 7-Eleven. 7-Eleven? That was probably an Alani. What are you getting?
1:02:21Alani, f*** you, Alani. Why Alani? You can't afford to pay back a loan to cash if you have to use it. Alani's like the best energy drink. Actually, is it? For what it's worth? This one is. I'll give you this. Gamer Subs. It's Goonie. What flavor is that? But it's fun. Oh, that's JoJo's? That's cute. Well, there you go. See, you know what? I don't even know this flavor personally. Do you not watch anime? Do you not watch any anime? No. I saw Arcane. Arcane is really good. Arcane recently. Oh, wow. It's been out a while. Arcane is very good. It's a very different art style, which is really nice.
1:02:51Well, that's okay. We're not reviewing. But the thing is, that is a lot better. First of all, it does taste better than Alani. We did blind taste test confirmed. And our guests say so. And people in the audience say so. Ocean stone fruit. And not only that, but after you figure out what flavor you're like by getting the free samples with Code Caleb in the link in the description below. Once you get a pack like that, that is 40 cents a serving with my 10 % off that you get with my link below. So that is 40 cents a serving to make your energy drink at home. No more going inside and getting some bullshit.
1:03:18Figure out what flavors you want with the free samples and then get the delicious stuff. So you're doing that now instead of stopping in 7-Eleven and getting bullshit, okay? Who's texting you? Who's blowing it up? My ex. She like left me a voice message and she's like blowing me up right now. Let me see. Hold on. Okay. So yeah, she sent all that. I don't know what's in the voice message. Pick up your phone. What the fuck? Oh, my gosh. I'm telling you, she is crazy. Okay, okay, okay. I know you're talking shit about me on the internet. See? Someone called me from Caleb Hampton. You tried to call her?
1:03:49Oh, and get her on? Yeah, yeah. Wait, wait. Bitch, what the fuck? Pick up your fucking phone. Are you in Austin? She doesn't sound very mask. No, she doesn't. When we would go out to eat, like— If I would see a guy that looked like a man and came out with that, I got that. We would go out to eat if we were at like a dinner table and the waiter would come up and they'd be like, for you, sir. And then she would start. No, but listen, she would start talking and they'd be like, oh, I'm so sorry, ma 'am. But she wanted to transition. She wanted to be a boy. So then it would like hurt her ego that they realized that she was a girl.
1:04:23And she. You're paying a credit card via this. Oh, well, I guess this isn't your loan account. So that's actually OK. Yeah, I know. You transfer money in. Foggy dude. Yeah. What is it? It's a vape shop. Oh my gosh. Okay, there we go. We're at 50 bucks now. 50 bucks that I could have gone towards you, Dad, that you refused to pay. You won't even make a payment on time. You won't even make a payment on time, but you'll spend 50 bucks on vaping. Go f*** yourself. Everything you've said has been a lie. I can say that on a sexy. Lone drawdown. You took 20 bucks in. And that was to get the vape. And then you went to Don Donuts,$18 there.
1:05:03I'll get donuts for the office sometimes. My license is actually fair, the first fair one. Yeah, because I had to get a change of address when I got my new apartment. So yeah, I did have to pay for that. I had to? I don't think anyone really gives it. Well, on my license, it had my old address. Bro, my license has five addresses to go. Well, isn't it like if you get pulled over and that's not up to date, they can get you in trouble? Oh, trust me, they have not done anything with that. Love you, cops. Okay. Keep making sure nothing happens. I was told that it was important that it's actually true.
1:05:30So yeah, I got my address updated. My address is the address I moved down here eight years ago. Maybe you should update that. Okay, loan drawdown. Your Tesla will get followed today. You'll get red flagged. Mostly just transfers on this page. Sending money to other people or getting money in from some people and sending money to some people. What are you doing with that? It was more than likely to my grandma. Why? So my grandma raised me. My mom raised me. Well, no, no, no. Yeah, my grandma raised me. And so whenever I moved out, like I had planned to live with my grandma my whole life. And so whenever I left.
1:06:08We were best friends. Like we were best friends. I love her to death. But whenever I had moved, it really hurt her. Like it was, you know, like baby bird leaving the nest, whatever. She was happy to see me grow and to see me go on with my life. But anyway, so after I left, she really went downhill. Like she went downhill really bad. Who's going to make you then? I want to. I tell her all the time because she only gets social security. So I tell her. How old is she? Um, she was born in 64. So she'll be... Don't make me... I don't know math. She'll be... She's in her 60s. She's like 63, I think.
1:06:40Oh, grandma. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Everyone in my family is really young. Oh, getting more Lani's too. And then VTG. That's my apartment. That's my apartment. They're right. And then Scooter's Coffee. That ain't. Don't bleep it. Calm down. Shut the f*** up. Scooter's Coffee. That ain't your apartment, bitch. You're doing that while not paying down your debt. I get points. I use my points most of the time. Well, no, this is actually from a checking account, so literally no. I get more points when I, like, stick. Use a checking account? Well, I'll scan. It's like you can scan a QR code, so if you pay on your phone, you get more points.
1:07:13You are not paying down your Cash App debt, but you're using your Cash App checking account.
1:07:20This is so stupid. So how much do you give your grandma? And what is it for again? You said she's going downhill, but what does that mean with giving money? Okay, so whenever I moved, obviously my whole life was in Maryland. And so when I moved, I had— Why do you have to give her money? I'm telling you. I'm telling you. Let me finish. Why does it have to be such a big lord? Use your ears. I hate your big lord. So whenever I moved, I had too much stuff to take with me. We drove from Maryland to Texas. I had too much stuff to take with me. So my grandma said, I'll just get a storage unit here. And then whenever, you know, you want some of this stuff, you can come get it.
1:07:51Cool, whatever. So, and she told me, she was like, I'll pay for the storage unit. Don't worry about it. I'll handle it. So she kind of went off the rocker and she was going out with her friends and drinking and doing drugs. And she was living her life. Yes. My grandma. She was doing drugs like a couple of years ago. Yes. What drugs? She was smoking.
1:08:15My grandma. What the fuck? What the fuck? She was at the bar. She was at the bar with some of her friends. What? What? Her grandkids moves out so she goes and just starts smoking crap. There were baby steps. There were baby steps for sure. How do you get to that? It's the last. So she was going to the bar more often. And so she was meeting bad influences. And our small town in Maryland was really bad for crap. It was really bad for crap. And so she fell into the bad crowd. She legitimately fell into a bad crowd. And everyone around her was smoking crap. And it was cheaper. This old woman just started smoking.
1:08:57Yes. Yes. At 60 years old. And so I told her, I told her, I was like, girl, you have to, she didn't talk to me for like a year. So she borrowed money. She just went off the bed for a year? No. So she asked me, she texted me one day and she was like, Hey, can I borrow some money? I have some parking tickets I need to pay up or else they're going to take my license. I said, sure, I'll help you out. And I sent her some money and she asked for like a hundred and I only had 50 at the time. She was like, that's fine. That should work. She told me that she went and paid these tickets and that they let her keep her license.
1:09:29And I asked my mom, I was like, hey, that's a little shady. Wouldn't they need the full amount? My mom was like, yeah, they would need the full amount. They wouldn't let her pay partial. So I asked my grandma, hey, what did you actually do with that money? And she like, stop bleeding out money, making minimum payments across multiple high interest accounts. Most Americans are spending hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars that could be going toward actually paying down debt instead of lining some bank's pockets. And look, if you're sitting on high interest credit card debt, a car loan at 18%, or oh my goodness, a payday loan charging you triple digit interest rates, you need to hear this.
1:10:07If you've already cut up the cards and built better financial habits, but you're still drowning in interest payments, barely making progress, this is for you. I have opened my very own marketplace, a personal loan marketplace that lets you get personalized offers from multiple lenders in one place. You can see if you pre-qualify in minutes and it won't impact your credit score. But here's the deal, this isn't a magic bullet. If you refinance your debt but keep swiping, you're just making the problem worse. You still need to fix the behavior that screwed you in the first place. But if you're serious about getting out of debt faster, you could potentially lower your monthly payment by securing a single payment at a much better rate.
1:10:48Check out the link in the description below to see your personalized offers or go to calebhammer.com. And remember, you still gotta do the work. Starbucks is bullsh** and a waste of money. And you already know that by making your coffee at home and investing the rest. So now you need to do that with your energy drink as well. Make gamer subs at home for just 40 cents a serving. And honestly, it literally tastes better. And we proved this accidentally via a blind taste test in our Hammer Elite show, Fat and Fatter. The number one ranked energy drink is GameSubs. Literally, the cherry flavor is insane.
1:11:24Listen, you can also get free samples to see if you like it or 10 % off your order at gamersubs.gg or click that link in the description below. Type in code Caleb. Bust down crying on the phone. She was like, I, you know, I was doing drugs. I'm so sorry. I was ashamed of myself. But because she went downhill like that, she wasn't paying on the storage unit with my stuff in it. Oh, fuck. It went to auction three times. Oh, my goodness. Because she was smoking. Paying on it, and she was spending her money elsewhere. So I had to pay. This episode is brought to you by State Farm. Listening to this podcast instead of doom scrolling?
1:12:09Smart move. Another smart move? getting help from one of State Farm's 19 ,000 local agents when you choose to bundle home and auto. Bundling, just another way to save with the personal price plan. Prices are based on rating plans that vary by state. Coverage options are selected by the customer. Availability, amount of discounts and savings, and eligibility vary by state. Like$500 each time because I didn't want to lose my stuff. Like, my degrees are in there. Well, just ship all the important things and get rid of the rest. I don't understand why you're holding on to so much bullshit, but go ahead.
1:12:42I mean, that's my whole, like, that's my everything. But that's my everything. No, you're what's wrong with America. It's stuff. Just bring down a couple of important things. And I did. I did bring the important stuff with me. Oh, well, there you go. Then sell the rest. But that's my shit. No, it's stuff. No, who cares? That she quit? I really do believe it. Like, she's quit smoking. She's quit cigarettes before. Like, I really do believe her when she says she's quit. So I trust sending her$15,$20. and she gives me the receipt. That's like my only credit card. That's my - What is it? I don't know what to title it.
1:13:16What kind of credit card is it? It's just a credit card. It's not called credit card. It's through my bank. What bet do you have? Amoco. Okay. Well, you asked. You asked what kind of card is this? It's a credit card. What credit card is it? Amoco. Amoco credit card. Oh my, shut the fuck up. $481.52. Yeah,$500 credit limit. No shit, you're not spending it. I didn't spend it every month. You can't. You can't. You can't! 13.65. They're still like... Shut the f*** up! Where's that interest rate? Minimum monthly payment, 15. And you couldn't figure out statements to save your life. I don't know how you're going to do anything.
1:13:49No, I tried. I tried. Yeah, I'm sure. You tried so hard. And anytime it would, like... There wasn't a download option. There wasn't a PDF option. Wait, last save and balance was lower, so you did spend on this. What? You lying piece of... Are you sure you don't do... I'm sure I don't do... I am sure. All the medicine I take is prescripted by a doctor. We usually do, like, soft launch it near you, right? What are you talking about? Like, crap. We usually, like, just, like... No. Have fun, guys. No, no. So that we can come in there and, like, bulldoze housing or something? No. No, it's not like that.
1:14:32It's not like that at all. What do you mean? What do you mean? Like, what are you... Are you implying that I have done... Well, no, no, no, but, you know, like... That's kind of stereotypical for a black person. No, no, no, no. I was stereotyping white people here. Oh, okay. Where we put it in your community. Oh, like gentrification type deal. Like, well, you know, like... What? You think gentrification is crap? No, because, like, you would have, like, slums where, like, they corral all these people to make more money and then pump it with drugs and no grocery stores, but then... I was making a reference to the cr** epidemic.
1:15:10Yeah. It all goes hand in hand. It was a long time ago. The big cr** thing, the big... What was it, 80s? Yeah, in the 80s. Yeah, it was booming. Yeah, it was booming for sure. Booming industry. Your grandma would have been rich. Or dead. Oh, man. No, she's still kicking. She's still kicking. With a lot more energy than before, right? Yeah. Oh, yeah. For sure. Locked in at all times. Yeah. She's running. She's running for sure. But yeah, to my knowledge, she said she stopped. So yeah. Yeah. You're getting Five Below gas bullshit all on that credit card. Five Below was for Christmas. Five Below was for Christmas.
1:15:50What did you get from Five Below for Christmas? They had like these tiny gingerbread kits. Oh, okay. It was for a Christmas party. We had a competition who could build the cutest gingerbread house or like, you ever see that game where you get the saran wrap ball and you have to like unwind it and there's candy in it and stuff like that? I went to Five and Below. Oh, okay. Well, yeah, it's a Christmas game. And so I went to Five and Below to get stuff for Christmas. Five and Below? Five Below. That's the name of it. We'd always just called it Five and Below. The sign says Five Below. There's no and.
1:16:22Is it Five Below or Five and Below? I've always called it Five and. I've always called it Five Below. But the actual name is Five Below because there's a degree symbol. I don't know. Okay. Anyway. But I went there because I knew it was cheap, and so I got my Christmas stuff there. Okay. Stuff for the Christmas party. Okay. So gingerbread house? Yeah. Okay. And then like candy and like little things for the Christmas party. Yeah. Were there bars? Little prizes. On the windows of the gingerbread house? No. One was like a Minecraft house. They were themed. Like it was like Oreo theme and like Minecraft theme, little gingerbread houses.
1:16:54It was not a jail. It was yours. It was not. Oreo themed? I picked the Minecraft theme, actually. Little Gamer Girl. Hee hee ha ha. I have been called an Oreo before, though, if that's the joke you're making. My mom's white and my dad's black. So, yeah, I have been called an Oreo. Please make a better black joke. Your father. Not in the picture. That is a stereotypical black kid. I was just going to ask. He left. Just wanted to confirm. No. So, yeah. How you said, oh, she's really young. My mom also had me really young. My mom had me when she was 15 and turned 16 that December. He, oh, a predator is what he was.
1:17:36Because he was like in his 20s.
1:17:42So my mom met him. He, lore, I guess more lore. He was a drug dealer. Oh! He was from New York. He was from New York. He was a drug dealer. and my mom would drive up and down the East Coast with stuff in the trunk and she would park somewhere. People would come up and take it out and then she would drive away. That's my dad and my mom and that's their life. Well, they had me. You don't have to do stereotypes in reality. But it is the stereotype. It is the drug dealer dad. It is and the fun to make fun of, but it didn't have to be real. But it is real, so just so you know. But it's even funnier to joke about when it is the real life.
1:18:20But he left when I was three months. Yeah. I'm surprised he made it that long. He could walk past me on the street and I wouldn't know. I have no idea what he looks like. I don't know his name. I don't know anything. Because they all look the same. No, they don't. We have different complexions, different features. Yes, I was joking, silly goose. Stop it. What's your ethnicity? What do you think? Is he white? I would say Greek. You look like you have Greek. Yeah, it's because of the olive skin. I was 25 % native. The rest is white. Oh, like feather native? See, that's racist. I can joke. That's racist.
1:18:51Native American, the people that were here first. Not Indians. Native. There's a difference. You know, they prefer Indian. Really? Yeah, it's the white SJW bullshit that are offended on other people's behalf. Oh, I had never. You have to call Native American. I had never heard that before. I thought Native American was the appropriate term because they were native to this land. It is the technical appropriate term. They call themselves Indians. Okay, well, I didn't know that. Yeah. Okay. Young women always offended on other people's behalf that aren't offended in the first place. Classic Americans.
1:19:21Okay, you do$55. But you're American. You're not African. I am. Have you ever filled out a form where it asks what your race is? It does. It's Caucasian, African-American. Other black people have told me that's offensive though. They would rather be called black because they're not less American. It's just the type of, I guess that is true. I guess that is true. See, isn't that a little weird? Everyone's American if you're born here. I guess that is. That's right, not less American. But like people used to be like, the blacks. Like they used to like, that's how they would used to say it. So like just to be called like that black kid.
1:19:50And I used to say the N word, but I don't anymore. Good job. No, I didn't. No, okay. I would believe that. I've never said it in my life. No, I never have. Really? Congrats. That's awesome. Genuinely, that is awesome. I'm glad it's not in your vocabulary because during the Olympics. Well, no, no, no. I never said it. I think of when I jerk off, but I've never said it. That's quite a place to have it. That's quite a place. Do you think of like BBC or something like that? Like, is that your type? Is that why? You said you think of the N word when you jerk off? Does that only apply to men? You know what BBC stands for?
1:20:19Big black ****? Yeah, so you say you think of the N-word. Why am I thinking of ****? You said you think of the N-word when you jerk off. Does that not apply to women? How did I get here? You said you think of the N-word when you jerk off. Are women not Ns? Yeah, yeah. I'm still a nigga, yeah. Whoa. Can you not bleep that out? You bleep everything else out. We're leaving that in. Okay, that's fine. I'm black. I can say it. I'm also gay. I can say the F-word if I wanted to. Uh-huh. Gay dating a man. I'm pansexual. little pansexual panracial do you know so there's only two races what do you know that's cap what do you owe that's fifty dollars too that was a pay advance that was my first pay actual pay advance my my oh good you just did it my work yeah my work it like put a new feature in our portal where it's like you know get your paycheck early type deal i did use that for gas though what is this Central Portfolio Control.
1:21:14That's my medical debt. Oh, what medical debt for? I had went to the emergency room like literally over two years ago and they had sent me a bill and I just never paid it. Abortion. No, I know. I've never had an abortion. No, I've never had a pregnancy scare. Knock on wood. Never had a pregnancy scare. Never. I've taken a plan B for sure, but like, yeah, never had to have the big red button pushed. So why aren't you on a minimum monthly payment for this? $932.92. Your minimum wouldn't be that brutal. You don't have to pay medical debt. You don't have to pay medical debt back. Kind of, no. Some of the rules have actually changed in terms of what goes on collections or not.
1:21:48This might hit and actually negatively affect your credit. Oh. I forgot what the minimum balance required is for that, but I think it's like 500. Like the Biden administration did something where it was like, yeah, any medical debt over this, it's not on collections. And the Trump administration was like, no, yes it is. Oh, okay. I didn't know that. I just thought you didn't have to pay medical debt. That's not how it works. It is still like a moral obligation and whatnot. Well, yeah, sure, but that was like a very back-of-the-burner thing because that was my— I didn't think I had to pay it. But you can get on like a— Why would you think you don't have to pay?
1:22:19Well, sure, you're supposed to. You're just thinking there's no consequence. No, no, no, I know you're supposed to. Obviously, it's a bill. You're supposed to pay it. Yes, I understand that. But it was very back-of-the-burner because I thought— Okay, back-of-the-burner. They're not going to force you to pay it. Minimum monthly payment still would have been cheap. They're not going to force you to pay it. Careful. Okay, so— Okay, what is this? What's at a 12.8 % interest rate? Balance$4 ,771. That was a personal loan. Was? It is, I would say. I had taken out a personal loan back in December. And it originally was a consolidation loan.
1:22:55Season one happens every time. I know. See, but it really did derail because I took it. I love consolidation loans, but only if you change your behavior. I genuinely did have good intentions when I took that out because it was in December. I didn't say you were evil. Well, no, no, no. Well, you called me a dumb bitch earlier. Well, you're a dumb bitch. I didn't say evil. Well, I took that loan out because I paid up. When I took it out, I did pay up my cash up. I paid up my credit card. I put extra money towards my car payment. And then I had a bunch of money left over. So, yes, it was a good Christmas.
1:23:27A lot of it did go towards Christmas. But at the end of the month, no, but listen, at the end of the month, that was in December, and me and my ex broke up on New Year's. So whatever, I used the rest of that money towards my apartment. Deflection, deflection, deflection. I used the rest of that money towards my apartment. Listen, if you change your behavior, I'll let you get a better interest rate personal loan because we have a lower interest rate personal loan marketplace on CalebHammer.com now. But it's only for people who change their behavior. Yes. So if you do, you can probably get one at a lower interest rate than that.
1:23:55That was my intention. But not without changing your behavior. Okay. Because that shit is really good out there. It is a helpful tool, but only if you change your behavior for a couple months. Yes. So minimum monthly payment,$123. I had the intentions. 13 % interest rate. You had an intention, but you f***ed it, okay? I don't care. I didn't plan on us breaking up. I didn't think I was going to have to. Two return fees this year so far. On what? Your personal loan. As in when a minimum monthly payment was required, it did not make it through. I manually pay that. Only a couple months into this year.
1:24:27I manually pay that. Well, you do it when you don't have enough money in the checking account to pay by the time it hits. You've had two returned fees. Not a fee. Yes, it's literally right here. Here you go, dummy. Dummy. No, I pay that manually, so I didn't know that it was returned. It's right there. It's literally in your account, so I don't know what to tell you. Okay, well, I never saw it come back into my checking. It wouldn't. What? No, you moron. When that loan, the personal loan was due, or you manually paid it, when that tried to draw, there was not enough money in your checking account, so it would apply to fee.
1:25:03Oh, okay. That makes sense. Twice this year so far, four months in. So half the months. So six months this year is the trend you're on. Yeah, you're better than other guests. F*** you. $316. What do you owe this for? No. This is a balance of$6 ,712. That's my car. That's my car. What's your car? I have a 2015 Chevy Equinox. And it's... So we're really hoping for a Nissan Altima. No, no. No, that's like for Latinas. That's like what all Mexicans drive. Uh-huh. It is. No, I have a mom car, Chevy Equinox. It is just under 133 ,000 miles. I don't know. Well, listen, I don't know. But the interest rate at 5.24, it's not the absolute worst.
1:25:55And we didn't get a VIN number from you, so we haven't been able to check it. It was on my insurance card. I sent my car insurance. It had my VIN on it. Maybe, I don't know, but we didn't get that. It is a 72-month loan, which is not good. And the minimum payment for your income is stacking,$316.65. Yeah, I usually pay$330 when I make my car payment. That doesn't really do anything. And it also makes no sense when we have credit cards and shit. So just like stop. Okay, we have another. Oh, these are student loans. What was your degree? I went for secondary education. I was going to be a high school teacher.
1:26:26Why aren't you? I had dropped out during COVID because online learning just was not for me. I couldn't retain it. COVID was a long time ago. Yeah, I couldn't retain online learning. So I got - COVID was a long time ago. Yeah. So I started a full-time job and I've had a full-time job since then. So I just never had time to go back to school. Yeah, but you'd make more as a teacher. I don't know. Teachers, almost their whole paycheck goes to their classroom. They pay. Teachers have to pay for their own classroom, like decorations and all that. Almost their entire paycheck goes to their full classroom.
1:26:56The classroom is struggling right now. Depends where. What are you talking about? It's actually getting more funding than ever. In fact, the highest funded state in the country is New Mexico, which has one of the lowest standards in the country. So I'm supposed to go over to New Mexico and teach? No, I'm just saying the amount of money doesn't necessarily affect outcomes. And to say the vast majority of a teacher's paycheck goes to the classroom, that is not true. Everyone wants teachers to be paid well. But many times, other than few select districts, yes, and few select states, yes. Teachers actually make a pretty decent income a few years in.
1:27:26They're getting burnt out, though. Like, my best friend's mom is a teacher. That's everything. But the classroom sizes, there's too many kids per teacher. You would certainly experience that in Texas. That is also state-dependent and school-district-dependent. But yes, sure. Sure, yeah. It's just not a field that I want to be in anymore. Okay, well, there you go. That's a better answer. Yeah, it's not a field that I want to be in anymore. Instead of making bullshit excuses. What's your minimum payment on your student loans? Oh, God, I don't know. Oh, it's$15.59. It's not bad at all. Yeah. the interest rate is not bad so you're 2035-25 yeah that was very back of the burn I'm very pro teachers I mean sometimes the union educates for them more than it does for students but besides that I want really good education don't cope bullshit okay oh yeah checking account ended negative$35.15 so that's great started with the dollar You're wonderful.
1:28:23And all for McDonald's and Apple bill and taking tolls, which you do not need to. When I don't take tolls, it is ridiculous. When you take tolls, you overdraft. Shut up, bitch. It is ridiculous about tolls. Cash app, putting money over there. Afterpay, I didn't even see this. Hopefully you paid that off because I didn't even have that in my account. Yeah, the afterpay is paid off. Smoking more, that certainly isn't paid off. Vapesity, that's not paid off. So far, we're up to now$75, actually more than that, almost$80 for vaping in a month. More tolls. Can't afford it. You're overdrafted. Shut up.
1:28:55Hallmark. Golf. You are overdressing. You're not getting Hallmark. No, you're just not. Going and getting some bullshit. Good in some bullshit. Apple cash set. More tolls while you're overdrafting. McDonald's cash set money. Foggy dude.
1:29:12Apple. Door dash. You're literally door dashing Jack in the Box. I can't leave work. I can't leave work to get food. Don't give a pack of sandwich. You're a woman. Shut up. That's not my job to be in the kitchen. Your job is to actually take care of yourself, though, yes. Sure, yeah. And you can't afford this. You're overdrafting, yet you're door dashing. But when I'm already at work. You don't deserve that. You do not deserve that. You are not entitled to anything. F*** off. When I'm already at work. Shut up! I can't leave when I'm at work. Shut up, shut up. Yeah, so you prepare food. I don't understand that.
1:29:38Use the meal plan. You dumped it. Okay, yeah. What is wrong with you? You disgusting creature. But when I'm already there and I have nothing to eat, what am I supposed to do? Well, you're perfect. That is no longer an option going forward. It was in the past. is not going forward because you will always bring food. Okay, yeah. Even I bring food to work now and I'm rich. Great. You can too is what I mean. Okay, I'll start making sandwiches. I'll start making sandwiches and a brown paper bag lunch. Yep. Iguanas something. Iguana ronas. It's a Mexican Russian. Great, you can't afford it. It's$42.
1:30:05What are you talking about? It's all your ex's fault? Fuck off, victim. Yeah, we're going to call in their post show. I don't care what you think. I said... Vape City. Oh, my tea. Hong Kong food. $100. That was groceries. Hong Kong food was groceries. That was 47. We're$125 in vapes in a month now. Sonic. Zone out, zone out. Center Court. Appleville. Appleville. Appleville. Microsoft, pull up your phone. More tolls. For what? Pull up your phone. What do you want me to open? Shut up. I'll do it myself, you dumb tit. Oh, my God. Wendy's. Alta. Dunkin'. Dunkin' Donuts. My gosh. And more tolls. You are a broken individual.
1:30:41Dude, without tolls, it's ridiculous. Without tolls, it's ridiculous. Without tolls, you're at least affording to drive. because you can't afford, you can't afford shit, man. It takes so long. Shut up. You just say the same thing over again. Like that all of a sudden justifies it like it didn't before. They're a necessity. No, they're actually not. In Texas, they're not. In some states, they absolutely are. And in Texas, they're convenient. They're very convenient. They're good. I want you to take them. You can't afford them. So shut up. Okay, is this Apple Music and iCloud Plus? I don't know what your Apple Cash.
1:31:09They must be in-app purchases and stuff. Yeah. I play a lot of Monopoly Go. Did you guys just hear that? She just said she plays a lot of Monopoly Go. When we were on the phone with your boyfriend, he said you haven't played it in two years. That was Pokemon Go. That was Pokemon Go. Oh, I meant Monopoly. Monopoly Go was the thing that popped up. Oh, yeah. Monopoly Go I play now. You are a disgusting creature. I play now. You spent hundreds on it while you're overdrafting. You're either just, you're like, go f*** yourself. They had a Hello Kitty crossover. No, shut up, shut up, die. In Minecraft.
1:31:42In Pokemon Go. No, Pokemon Go is dead for sure. Debt payments for$70,$24. What's your rent? My rent is$680. What's your utilities, including internet? Gas, electric, all that stuff. Gas, water, all that is included in rent. I only pay electric. My electric is like$70. You said$680 or$618? $680. Okay. Phone bill? My phone and internet are bundled right now. How much? Like$70, but after a year, it's going to be$100. Okay. Switch to helium. I mean, 15 bucks a line. It's great because T-Mobile has great service there. So it uses the same towers. Gas, vroom, vroom, drive, drive. I don't care. Vroom, vroom, drive, drive.
1:32:24How much? Gas. Oh my God. With gas prices on the rise. I usually fill up every two weeks. And the last time I filled up because of prices, it was like. Well, it varies because of the price. But the last time. I haven't shit out, Dick. The last time I filled up, it was like 60 bucks. But normally. How long can you fill up? Normally it's like 40. How much do I ever put it in for a month, dude? Do 100. Oh my gosh. Thank you. Car insurance. My car insurance is like$155. I'll get you a course career certification, by the way, because many people in the audience have converted those into six-figure jobs.
1:32:53I need you to as well. There's lots of certifications, so you choose what you want to do. I like my job. You'll make so much more money. You need to make more money, though. It is a job that you can grow with. They're having people here for a long time. Okay, well, get a certification, and then you use it in your job to get a better paying promotion, because people use them for that as well, not just finding new jobs. Groceries,$300. Use the meal plan. Multiple cooking throughout the week, and you're meal prepping, meal prepping, meal prepping. You get the digital version of the cookbook as well, just like everyone at the DollarWise annual version.
1:33:19TP fund, everything else you need, including tampons, 150 bucks, makeup, blah, blah, blah, all that good stuff. Okay. You could use it. I have some on, actually. If you couldn't tell. No, I'm fine. No, I'm kidding. You look fine. Thank you. Medical health care. Just fine? Co-pays, things like that. Yeah, you look fine. I mean, you're literally cutting your eyebrows. It's weird. Fashion, come on. Fashion. Medical health care. Co-pays, anything about your business? You were talking about my eyebrow splits when the girl came on looking like a clown. Yeah, she was ugly. Anything looking for minimum monthly medical payments.
1:33:49Come on. My work covers vision. Nothing? Are there co-pays? Medications? No, my insurance does cover that. Okay, there you go. Insurance gets taken out automatically. I have an aquarium, super low maintenance. Yeah, super low maintenance. Speaking of, you need to take care of your aquarium. That poor fish in there. Hey, he's happy. He's been living forever. Dude, no filter, no heater. There is a filter. There is a filter in there. And he, the guppy, does not need a heater for the temperature we keep it in this building. Okay. Surviving is not fine. I'm not going to kill him. You can treat it better, though.
1:34:21And the plants would look nice, but we do it right. It's like half empty. Yes, but we do it right. Okay. I know how to take care of it. A guppy's the easiest fish in the world. They're also really dirty. Filter in the back. Well, it's not dirty there because there's a filter. Okay, so you only... I also have an aquarium. I know how to take care of fresh water or salt water. Fresh. What's in it? African dwarf frogs. Okay. See, you do frogs. I don't want to hear your fish talk. I have coridoras. I have snails. Shrimp. Shrimp? Yeah, I have shrimp. They'll do anything. They'll survive any of the shrimp in there.
1:34:59Yeah. The shrimp are like the cleanup crew. Okay. Minusing your student loans of$2 ,035 because you'll do minimum monthly payment until it's paid off.
