In short
The episode is a promotional “bonus” explaining why listeners need a full budget system (not expense tracking) that automates planning, reduces credit-card reliance, and helps people pay off debt while still funding everyday life and goals.
Guests
No named guests appear; the hosts speak directly to “besties” and reference testimonials from customers.
Key claims
Tracking past expenses is “busy work,” not a plan. The system pre-populates months, requires only small edits, and does the math automatically. It uses five simple money categories, separate spending accounts, and tools for savings, assets, and debt payoff (snowball/avalanche/minimum). Bills can be paid automatically from a designated account.
Notable examples
Testimonials cite paying off seven credit cards, stopping paycheck-to-paycheck spending, paying bills automatically, knowing exact extra debt payments (e.g., $383 left), and reducing stress/guilt about spending.

Automatic transcript. May contain errors.0:00All right, besties. we're just hopping in here on a Friday afternoon to give you some secrets. Tell us about what's going on. Okay. So who is this for guys? We always talk about this, but listen, if you make good money, but you have nothing to show for it, guess what? You need a budget system. You don't need another budget. You need an entire system that tells you what to do with your money automatically and where it goes and what to do with your hand. You want to show them? Yeah. I want to tell you, if you have a list of bills and due dates that you call a budget and it doesn't seem to be working for some reason, this is what you need.
0:31Like you guys, I have it right here on my app. Okay, right here. Isn't that so pretty? Don't you just wanna go click the things off and then everything's good and then you know you have spending, you have permission to spend. It's so pretty. And listen, if you're ready to stop relying on credit cards, we were just reading something about how people are still relying on credit cards for essentials, like regular groceries, gas, things like that. You don't want to use them to help you float through the month, okay? this feels overwhelming. You don't need that in your life. What you need is a system that tells you how to use your cash to be able to fund your life.
1:05Yeah. And I think that what we find is you guys get so overwhelmed and tired of tracking every expense. You feel like you're doing the right thing, but somehow nothing is really changing with the way your money is working, with how you're feeling about money, with feeling like you have money or something to show for everything that you're working. It's because you're spending a lot of time and energy tracking, And that doesn't need to happen at all. We are going to show you with our budget system how not to do that. And what we hear is that people come and say, listen, I've been tracking all my expenses.
1:32I don't know why this isn't working. It's because it's not a budget. That is that a tracking work, right? It's busy work. You don't have time for it. And it's past tense. You're tracking things that already happened versus making a plan for your money in the future. And again, the way that we have our entire system set up, you don't have to track anything. It does it for you. It's so easy to understand and follow. Yeah. And I think the other thing that we hear a lot, Vanessa, is people don't understand you have these all these different things that you want to do with your money. Maybe you want to pay off debt.
1:57Maybe you want to save for a vacation or for Christmas. Maybe you just want to be able to know that your bills are all paid. Who knows what your goals are, but you feel like you can't do all of those and just live a regular life. That is what our budget system. That's why we set it up the way we did. that one of the key things, Vanessa, that we have is like the five simple categories that actually reflect how you use money. And that is what's going to allow you to be able to get your pumpkin spice lattes. If that's what you want, we might be getting into a more wintry versus fall. I don't know.
2:26I don't know when the change happens, but we might be getting close, but you want to be able to do that and pay off debt, or you want to be able to do that and be able to afford the camp for your kid or whatever. So our beginning intro of our podcast literally says, do you want to know how you can pay off debt and still have your pumpkin spice lattes? People listen to it and they say, you're still speaking to me. It still resonates with me because that's what I want to do. I don't want to have to live on beans and rice. I don't want to live on ramen to be able to get through the month so I can pay off debt.
2:52I want to live my life. I never get this time back with my kids. I want to be able to do the things that I want to do and still pay off debt and save from that vacation. Yeah. So don't forget what we're saying right now is all of you love our system. And we're going to talk about that in a minute, but if you love it, but you've just been on the fence about getting it. Now is the time. And remember, if you're overwhelmed or scared by the B word, guys, like this is your chance to change all that. Your chance to remove all that weight, remove that scarcity, remove that anxiety, and understand how to truly make a budget that you love, that you can follow.
3:21At the end of this, we're going to talk about, we're going to read some testimonials off that people have tried other things and then tried ours and what the change was. And we just can't wait to share those. Yeah. So what do you get with our budget system? Hopefully you've seen it. So you get an, you get our edible. edible it's not edible it's editable is that the same don't eat it okay do you can you tell it's friday like it's friday afternoon this is what you get y 'all don't hear when we do podcasts this is the parts this is what we edit out yes we do usually but it's all in here but anyway so the budget as we were mentioning is not editable edible it is editable god bless it and it doesn't matter what it matters is that you can put numbers in and it does all the math for you that's really what matters.
4:05Yeah. Yeah. It pre-populates guys. So that's one of the things that people love that you put in November's stuff. It populates in December and January. And all you have to do is if you may have to make it edit, it's just go in that cell, but everything's there for you. So you're not having to recreate a budget every single month because nobody has time for that. Yeah. All you have to do is just the little tweaks for each month. And that's it. And it's really pretty to look at as we've been trying to show you, we chose very like calming colors and a color scheme. We made it so you can check things off.
4:32You can dim it. And when you do, It dims it so it's like less clutter, less clutter in your life. Like you're creating this peaceful vibe and just by using our budget. Even the guys like it. Okay, I'm going to say, yes, there's some pink. Yes, there may be some teal. I'm not going to lie. But it's so airy. It's appeasing to look at when you make it because it's something that you want to complete and you want to finish. Yeah. And so you also just get like we're talking about the budget, which is the main thing. It does all the math for you. It does everything. But we also have, you know, our savings bucket tracker.
4:58We have our asset tracker. You have your debt, different ways that you can pay off debt, whether you want. It's going to be a debt tracker, but debt snowball, debt avalanche, debt minimum. We have all the tools, literally every tool you need in there from start to finish with anything that you would need to do for money and budgeting. Well, and it's based on the season of life that you're in. So literally the budgets itself, one through 12, are worth 10 times over what we charge for this. And on top of that, you have so many other tabs and resources in our budget system for you that are available.
5:26Plus, you have all these bonuses in our course. Yeah. And we have step-by-step videos and walkthroughs and quick starts and everything you can need to be successful. But listen, we want to read some testimonials from people that have commented on our budget system. This is from Tammy. She says, I can't say enough about the budget besties in their system. It's so easy to use. I'm rolling into month six and I'm so excited to see our savings buckets growing as well as paying down bills. My husband is so glad we made the investment. Oh man, don't you love it when your husband like comes on board with your decision that you made?
5:54Yes, I knew. I was so good. But what I love for her is exactly what happens with our clients is you start, you have those bank accounts and you're like, oh, look at it. I got some more money and all these. And it's like gamifying. It feels really good. Yeah. Rebecca also said, I love the system and allowed me to see my money clearly to plan and pay off debt and categorize my savings game changer. Do you think it's a game changer to categorize your savings? It puts a name on it. It makes it personable. And instead of this like random, I'm saving for a rainy day. No, you're saving for your trip to Greece, friend, or you're saving for your daughter's birthday party.
6:27We're not saving for something random. We're doing it on purpose intentionally. It is a game changer. And how many of you guys right now are probably saying, oh, I auto deposit from my HR department$300 a month to just random savings. I guarantee in 15 days during that month sometime, you probably are pulling that money back because you need it. You know why? Because it's in a generic savings account. And somebody is telling you to save a certain amount from your paycheck that you need for a later date in the future, some type of rainy day fund. No, if you actually put a name to that, like Shana was saying, and give it a specific purpose, you're less likely to touch it.
7:00Plus, you also need to find the right amount that you need to be saving. And you don't know that until you make your budget, minus your debts, minus your bills, minus your spending, and then you have your savings. Another thing that Rebecca said was that it tells her exactly how much to pay on debt. And that's another thing. People are usually randomly saying, I think I'll put$50 on every card extra, and hopefully that's enough, and hopefully that makes a difference, and hopefully I can afford it. Instead, you list out everything in your budget and it tells you, hey, you have, and this is everything, you have$383 left.
7:30And that's how you know, okay, that's how much extra I can pay on debt this month. Very specific, very on point. All right. So Barbara said, a bunch of besties and the simplified budget template system are amazing. I went from checking my account every time I needed gas to knowing for certain the money is in the account. We paid off seven credit cards and now using cash for almost everything. The freedom and peace we now have are priceless. We could not have done it without the system. I love what she said about knowing that she had money for gas. Listen, this is why we're doing it. By separating your spending, and that's what we're going to teach you and you're going to do with this budget system.
8:04By separating what you're spending into the categories, then you know. You might not have much money left in your personal spending because, girl, you went to Lulu or whatever you did. Amazon Prime yesterday, by the way. You might have money for gas because you've only gone to the gas once this paycheck and you know that you have$200 in there every paycheck. And that's what she's saying. It gives me the permission to spend, freedom to spend on the sparkly pink suit I bought my son last night. Don't worry about that. Love it. Yes. And I also know I'm still going to have money for groceries if I buy him that suit.
8:36And that's what Barbara's saying. Yeah. And I need you guys to know, this is a personal thing. My husband texted me two days ago. And he said, I also want to talk about how much money you have in your spending account versus how much money I have in my spending account. And I quietly sat back. I said, I haven't spent mine. And he goes, that's fair. And I said, because I had twice as much as he had. And I just, I hadn't gone shopping yet. Whereas my husband loves to like literally use his every single day for something. That's just the way how he does his spending. It's fine. It is fine. But to know that his is his, mine is mine.
9:07And of course, he was just joking. It was a job. He didn't care. but it was just like look mine has been adding up because i just haven't used it yet i was waiting for prime day and that happened yesterday okay so it's not the same so lindsay said i'm going into month three of using the system so i'm still learning i'm super excited to finish getting it all set up and how much see how much it's going to change our lives it's already helped my hubby and i feel less stressed and not feel guilty for spending money since we now have our own separate spending accounts hey i feel like vanessa was just talking about that and i love that for her because that it is a point of contention between the two of you or between in a marriage a lot of times, but mostly just because there's lack of clarity.
9:45And just by having separate spending accounts and also having looked at the whole budget together and deciding that and you're, you have this buy in, you're doing it as a team. It's such a game changer for your marriage. And then obviously, you have money and you don't have to fight about it. And it just changes the whole conversation. It really does. Yeah. All right. So listen, we tried to knock some of these out. We just couldn't start reading all of them to you because they're all so good. Okay. So Jess said, I've always been a saver, but apparently I'm doing it wrong. The system has allowed me to see where I'm putting my money and my goals.
10:15It's also helped me pay down debt. And that's amazing. It's so thrilling entering the numbers and seeing my net worth increase. Oh yeah. So everybody has a different like fun thing that they love to do in there. And we do have your net worth tracker in there. And so that, that can be a fun thing that you like to do. And as you see, and it does, our debt tracker also shows you as you pay it down it shows you how much you paid i think that is also really fun again what we found you guys is knowing your numbers is actually more fun than you think it is you're going to life you're going to feel automatically start spending more aligned to your goals you're going to stop spending on silly stuff because you actually know your numbers the not knowing your numbers is what's causing all the confusion and the chaos and the maybe the overspending yeah but knowing it and seeing it is like such a game changer and i was going to say i I think that is different for everyone.
11:03So for her, net worth is really important to her. For somebody else, they may not really care about that right now. That's not where they're at. That's not what's important to them. So we have so many different tools in the system that allows you to figure out what number you want to be looking at, what number you want to track. Maybe it's a debt snowball tracker and you want to know, okay, I know it says that I'm going to be debt-free by next year, like October next year, but how can I get that to like March of next year? Maybe that's what you're tracking. So there's so many different things in there that allow you to do that.
11:29All right. So Kathleen said, I used this and went from spending$1 ,000 over my income every month to finally being able to stop living paycheck to paycheck and save for the future. Thank you. Yes, this is, for many of you, this is going to be the first time that you actually know what you're spending. You know what you cost, the difference between your income and your bills, and you can actually start to do something on purpose and start to maybe free up some more money eventually so that you can spend money. But you're usually spending because you don't really know what's going on. You're overspending because you don't really know how much you have.
12:00And it just creates this chaos and this cycle. But what this does is put it all in front of you on one page, makes it super simple, super pretty, and then you can actually do it. I think that's why we called it a budget system and not a budget template because it's so much more than just words and numbers on paper. Okay. So Lori said, this system has helped me so much. I love having all my bills being paid automatically out of a designated account. The system takes so much stress out of budgeting. I love feeling and being organized. Best budget system ever. Oh, so sweet. Yeah. Yeah. And I think that the bills account, again, that's just one part of what we're going to help you set up and what you're going to get going.
12:33But that is a game changer. Just having it in its own little selected silo over here, it's paying all the bills and it's just doing it automatically. That is huge. It is a stress. Like for some reason, you guys, you're stressing about paying your bills. You don't have to do it. It is 2025. You do not have to do that. It can be happening automatically. Your bank can do it for you. Let's go. Let's get this done. Yeah. Let's have an updated system. And maybe the last time you even checked on your banking system, your financial system, is when you were 18 and you opened up your first checking account, okay?
13:00And then from there, you just went on your life and got married, had kids, and you just kept that same thing going. There are so many more options available to you and we just want you to know that you can change things. Yeah, so Amanda said, combining the bird's eye month view and the paycheck plan really helps me map everything out so clearly. I finally tossed my budget tracker, thank you very much, where I tracked every single expense and feel so much more confident with my finances. it's so detailed but you can also start with the basics and dive right in worth every penny she said i love that she really i think is hitting on like my love language parts of it not tracking everything on how detailed it is did spend a lot of time making sure that it was everything that you guys wanted it to be and that she said but you can start small yeah there are so many things that you can do in there we get it but that's why we also made a quick start video like the second you log in there's a seven minute quick start video that look there's so many other resources in here that you can get into later.
13:52But right now to be successful, this is all you have to do. I just think it's so telling that you had a budget tracker, right? Where you tracked everything, but she felt like it wasn't clear. You know what I mean? Like that's, what's frustrating to us about those different systems or budgets or whatever apps. It's not making you clear and you're not getting, your finances don't feel like they're getting better. You're just spending a lot of time doing something with your hands. That's not the right thing. So I love that. And I do think our bird's eye month view really hopefully puts it all into perspective.
14:20And then like she said, the paycheck plan just tells you exactly what to do with every paycheck. All right. So Melissa said, loving the system. I just started and I can already see the difference in my spending. My favorite part is that it does the math for you. No guessing your income, no guessing as your income comes in and bills go out and you have so much more money. She said, I highly recommend it. I agree with her. I think you should. And I do love that it does the math for you. I do love all of those things. I love how she said you have so much more money because you do. I think by the time people are done with it, even when we're coaching with clients, we're like, Hey, you have $2 ,000 left over at the end of the month.
14:55They're like, no, I don't know. Like, yes, you do. But that's what putting it on paper does. That's what laying it all out does for you. It allows you to actually see the whole vision of your money. And then you get to decide where you want it to go. Yep. Okay. Sheena, not to be confused with Shana, but Sheena said, I love how it helps me see the whole picture. I'm really just getting started. So I haven't seen big changes yet, but I'm excited to see where this takes me. And I love that because we try to make it simple. Let's show them again, Vanessa. It's so simple. It's one, the main thing that we're showing you is that it's one page, there's five columns.
15:25And like she said, you can see the whole picture of what's going on simply prettily organized, not cluttered, not crazy. There's no like weird fixed variable terms on there. It's we, this is what we were going for when we made it. Yeah. All right. So our super fun friend, Becky, she said this budget system has been a game changer for me. I've paid off my car, organized my finances, and I'm now working towards my long-term goals. Whether it's trips to see my sister or saving for a new car, I know this budget system is working for me. Yep. Yep. There's just, there's so many, again, I think that when you go to buy a system on Etsy, okay, I'm just going to say it.
16:00There's a lot of things out there that you'll get for$10 and$15. And let me just say, you're getting what you pay for. Okay. This is an entire budget system that you can use for life doesn't matter where you are. There's no, all these charts and different things that you have to follow. There's none of that. It's super easy. It's super simple. Like Shana said, it prints on one page. And that was very specific. We worked, the designer was not happy when we told him, look, we want all of this, but on one page. He was like, I don't think I can do that. We're like, yeah, we believe in you. We believe in you and we're going to make it happen because we know how important it is to be able to print everything.
16:36If you want, If you wanted the option to print things out, we wanted that for you. And so it's there, guys. Every page, every tab, excuse me, fits on one page. Yes. And it's not Friday afternoon at all. So don't worry about that. We are just giving you our best, okay? No. But seriously. No, we've been talking for 20 minutes. Yeah. Sorry, guys. Oopsies. It's going to be really fun. To get off of our budget system, you should just go ahead and get it this weekend.
