In short
Christian CEOs scaling a business with a 4-day workweek, while protecting peace, boundaries, and Christ-centered identity; also includes marketing/messaging systems for consistent revenue.
Guests
Judy Weber, former trial attorney and C-suite executive turned business growth consultant (“kingdom disruptor”); built multiple businesses over 20 years, generated millions in revenue with lean teams, and helps Christian women scale via her “peaceful profits framework.” Hosts Shana and Vanessa are best friends, business partners, and Dave Ramsey-trained master financial coaches (since 2019).
Key claims
Set fixed work hours and reverse-engineer priorities; don’t blur boundaries when clients request exceptions. In early stage, focus on relationship-based conversations and a “best clients lead system,” then add SOPs and A-player KPIs at scale. Replace “no-like-trust” with “C1 need effect” by dialing messaging for the empowered buyer. Identify “zhuzh/juice,” stand in Christ identity, and replace money lies with God’s truth (not prosperity-gospel, but diligent work leading to prosperity).
Notable examples
Podcast guesting as a simplified one-to-many marketing track; hiring an admin assistant 3–5 hours/week. Bible references: Proverbs 31 woman, Lydia, 1 Timothy 6:10, parable of the talents.

They're not believing that they're good enough. They're not believing. Even my clients that have almost reached a million dollars, we have these conversations. And let's be honest, we all grapple with that from time to time. But we have to know our Christ identity. Who are we in him? because he sees the most amazing person that we could be. And so we need to just stop believing the enemy's lies and really say, Lord, who am I? And we need to lean into that and stand again boldly in the authority he's given.
0:43Because you know what? There's an expert, but you're an authority, which is an expert plus. So we need to stand up loud and proud in that identity.
0:53Judy Weber:Do you make good money but have nothing to show for it? Are you tired of living paycheck to paycheck? Do you have big dreams for your financial future? Do you want to get debt-free, but you don't want to live on beans and rice? Or you don't want to give up those pumpkin spice lattes? Hey, it's okay if you don't already know how to budget, or if you're using credit cards to get through the month. Hey, it's okay if you want to seem like you have your finances all together, or you're not on the same page with your spouse when it comes to finances. We know what you're doing probably isn't working, but guess what?
1:21Judy Weber:You're in the right place. We're Shana and Vanessa. We're best friends, business partners, and master financial coaches trained by Dave Ramsey. We've been in business since 2019, helping hundreds of amazing people like you create budgets, get out of debt, stop living paycheck to paycheck, and know exactly what to do with their money. In this podcast, we'll share with you everything we know, plus everything we're working on with our clients so that you have the best chance at reaching your financial goals. We want to help you take the guesswork out of your budget, improve your marriages, and even bring your kids in on the conversation.
1:53We can help you no matter where you're at, whether you're the single mom who's never had$500 in her savings account or the millionaire who's paid off four real estate mortgages.
2:01Judy Weber:And we're not going to shy away from the tough love. We'll tell you what you need to hear and encourage you at the same time. This is the Financial Coaching for Women podcast. Hey, guys. Today's guest is a powerhouse and the kind of woman that you want in your corner. We were so excited to have Judy Weber on. She's a former trial attorney and C-suite executive. Now she's a business growth consultant. She calls herself a kingdom disruptor. You'll hear all about that in the episode. And over the last 20 years, she's built multiple businesses, generated millions in revenue with her lean but mighty teams, and helped ambitious Christian women scale to multi-six and seven figures through her peaceful profits framework.
2:38You know, we love alliteration. We love the name. We love who she is. And we love her pearls. You'll hear about that too. We also love that she's not just about the numbers. She's actually on a mission to help women of faith stop playing small, to know who they are in Christ, and to boldly step into their God-given authority. in life and business. She's also the host of her own amazing podcast, Bold Business, Bold Faith, which we were on. And today she's going to talk to us about how we can grow a thriving business without the hustle, the chaos, or compromising what matters most.
3:04Judy Weber:Judy, we are going to get right into the meat and potatoes of this. Tell us, as a seven-figure Christian CEO, what does your weekly schedule actually look like? Boy, this is so good. I developed a four-day work week because for myself, I, you know what, if you don't, if you don't get ahead of it and you decide when you're going to work, your work day will absolutely become a 24 seven kind of thing. So my work day, I have pretty much Mondays off and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and a little bit of Friday. So, you know, the four day work week is something that I would love to, to share with your audience because we need to get ahead of the schedule.
3:51We need to decide when we're doing what we're, what our work hours are. And we need to reverse engineer to make sure that we can grow and scale within that time. But what I find is too many women spending too much time doing things that really don't matter. Yeah, totally agree with that. And one time I heard somebody, somebody, why I say sometimes people, you know, you'll treat your business like a mistress or That's how your spouse might feel because you're always sneaking off to do more work and there's always more to do. And it takes up, like you said, every available minute if you let it. So I love that idea.
4:25I love that you don't work on Mondays. That's wonderful for you. Well done. We also do a four-day work week, funnily enough, but we take Thursdays off so that we can – we've been coaching Tuesday and Thursday, pouring out, pouring out, so that we can take a deep breath and reset and come back on Friday. So tell us how do you get – and I love what you said because we will just do all the things. but putting it into a four-day work week forces you to actually be very discerning on purpose what you're going to what you're going to get done when yeah you know how do you prioritize yeah okay the key to this first of all is decide you have to decide that a four-day work week is possible and once you decide that decide you decide your work hours and so i think especially women, we're so giving and we're so others focused that we may preliminarily say, I have Mondays off.
5:18But when someone reaches out, a client or a would-be prospect, today's the only day that I can have this call or something. No, we have to set the boundaries and honor those boundaries. And as I said, then we have to reverse engineer. So in the way of where we need to focus, if you're early stage business, you need to focus on connecting with people. Focus, meet people, have conversations. You have to have conversations. You know, we've been told lies by the gurus that we can automate everything. Automation is beautiful, but in the beginning, you need to meet people. It's a relationship thing, right?
5:58It's a relationship business that we're in. And then the other thing I would say, even in early stage, I've helped my clients develop a best clients lead system. We need systems even early on because it's step-by-step, it's repeatable, and that provides predictability. And then later when you hit six and multi-six figures, then it's time to get the SOPs. You need to definitely grow your team of A players with established KPIs that allow them to drive revenue into the business.
6:29Judy Weber:that's so good i remember at the very beginning part of our business i was having client sessions while my family was having dinner and i was having client sessions while there were baseball games or whatever going on because you know you want to make it work you want you're all in you're it's very new and you're trying to do as much as you can whenever you can and then we kind of took a step back and we're like oh we are drained and we cannot show up for ourselves or our clients if we continue this way. So we very quickly implemented that four day work week for us. Well, I don't know if it's quickly is the right word, but, but we did learn better.
7:04Yeah, we did learn. And, and, and, you know, to your point, if, if we had had somebody like you in our life telling us you're doing all, you're doing a lot, but it doesn't mean that all needs to be done. And if you actually could focus, then you would be able to live in that four day work week. So do love that. I do love your point about women. We are givers. We are. And so I feel, I do feel like those boundaries are much easier to be blurred with us. So it's important to know that it's okay to set them. And I think people will respect that. If you respect it, people will respect it.
7:36Judy Weber:Well, and we prayed very early on, like God, please, like Shayna said earlier, we coach on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. And we prayed a lot about, God, please bring us the right clients to be able to be coached on those days. Like we know that there are so many other people that maybe that doesn't work for them. Maybe there's another coach for you. So, but that is the only timeframe that worked for us. And we really needed to honor that for our schedules. And God has really just blessed that part of our, you know, and it's just been amazing to watch him kind of lay the foundation of everything and just allow it to be the schedule that we really needed it to be.
8:09Yeah. If I can interject something here too, when we talk about doing the right things, a lot of times we're preoccupied with leads. I need more leads. Give me more leads. And I'm like, wait a minute. from the beginning, let's focus on sales. What I mean by that is we know that our clients get results from working with us. So we're not in the business of accumulating leads. We should be more concerned about the quality leads, the empowered buyers that are ready to rock and roll, right? So it's quality over quantity. And I'm about to say something that's very controversial, but I think your audience is going to love it.
8:46Okay. So I say the no like trust factor is dead. No like trust is dead. So let me explain. The no like trust says I need to get the prospect to no like and trust me. It's like you focused, right? And so what I say, we replace that with the C1 need effect. Okay. Like when you have your messaging dialed in and you are standing in your God-given authority, your people, right? Your people, we don't serve everybody. We have a best client. Your best client sees you and what you have for them. And so they want to learn more. And the more they hear, the more they decide they need it. So the Know Like Trust has built into it this long nurture.
9:28And I'm here to say some people need longer nurture. But where we want to go is we want to talk to that empowered buyer who is already looking for the solution that we think. You know, it's really refreshing. Yeah. And honestly, if we just had found you before, it's fine, it's fine, it's fine. because we know our best client there. We've had several of them sign up without ever even getting on a call because exactly of what you just said, like we have folk finally figured out our messaging. And when we speak, she's like, Oh, I need that. And she just signs up. She doesn't even need any more convincing, you know, or as you say, just communicating and connecting.
10:04So yeah, we definitely love that. But we, you know, what, what would be interesting? Like, like we said, about at least 75 % of our audience, they are entrepreneurs, right? And they're high. And even if they're not, they're all high achieving women, very, you know, very dialed in. So can you, you know, and you sort of specialize in systems and automation, kind of like we do for finance, but you do it with business and marketing. So can you tell us like what routines or systems, like you said, it's different depending on the stage of business that you're in, sort of what you focus on, but that you would set up to hit consistent like 10k months or even more, you know, What things do you always point people to?
10:48So where they really need to focus, like I said, is first and foremost is identify your zhuzh. What is your juice? Like, stop comparing about everybody like, oh, I don't have that. And, you know, they've been in it longer and they look better. And who the heck knows what else, right? They're younger, they're older, whatever. We need to identify what makes us the best for our best client. And so people always talking about building a personal brand, building a business brand. But the bottom line is you need to build a brand where you stand out. There's tons of business coaches. There's even a bunch of Christian business coaches.
11:28But there's none that say the things that I say. There's none that really stand as firmly as I do on Christ, not only as like an integrated into the business, but he is the center of each and everything. He's the foundation. He is in your leads. He is in your sales. He is the chairman of the board. So we really need to focus on what makes you unique so that you say something different in the market that nobody else does. There's a whole lot of what appear to be vanilla, copy and paste. Everybody's saying the same thing. you've got to find your angle where gurus get it wrong and you need to own that perspective right that's one thing yeah that's good that is good i yeah i think i think a lot of times i mean honestly even us judy we started off trying to sort of mimic dave framsey because that's who trained us and we eventually figured out oh that's we're not that at all and the more that we really dialed into that and figured that out, the more businesses blown up, the more we're serving our best clients instead of people that really, we were not best suited to serve.
12:37So, so I love that.
12:38Judy Weber:Well, and I would also say that a lot of people tell you to go out and look at the competition. What are they doing? How are they succeeding? And we tried that, like Shannon said, at the very beginning. And then we really just pulled back and we said, we're just going to focus on us, what we love, what makes us special, why people want to come to us, what do we have to offer? And I think once we did that and really stopped listening to the noise of it all. We really found out what we were about and, you know, the, the audience that we were serving and, you know, like I said, the special gifts that we have.
13:11Judy Weber:And at the very beginning, when we first started selling our, our simplified budget system, it was like, oh my gosh, people are loving this thing that we just made and they're buying it and they're using it and it's helping them and we are serving them well. Never would we have thought at the very beginning of our business that we would have a product to sell them, let alone build it to where it met their needs. So anyways, it's just really awesome to stop listening to what everyone else is thinking, saying what they're doing, how they're getting their clients, because it's very different. It's going to be very different than what you specifically need and what your audience needs.
13:44Right. And to your point, you ladies have created a methodology. So once you have that brand and once you own your brilliance and your uniqueness and you really stand in your God-given authority, like God called you, like, why are we doubting ourselves? Then we need to create that methodology and generate that step-by-step that nobody else has. That's your IP. That's your intellectual property. That is what will allow you, if you'd like to, one day to sell your business. So yeah, absolutely.
14:15Judy Weber:All right, Budget Besties, it's time for some Real Talk. You don't need another budget. You need a budget system. Our simplified budget system is what you've been looking for. It's going to allow you to be bougie on a budget. You'll be able to easily set up a system that runs automatically and shows you exactly where your money is going. And it's going to give you permission to spend. Everybody loves that. Yeah. It's straightforward, pretty, and packed with walkthrough videos that break down the exact methods we use with our clients to get out of debt, set up a bills account, separate spending, build savings buckets, and end the paycheck-to-paycheck feel.
14:50If you're new to budgeting, this is the perfect way to jump in. And if you're already a budget nerd like us, you're about to meet your new obsession. This is the upgrade to your finances that you need right now.
15:02Judy Weber:Yeah. So head on over to budgetbesties.com forward slash budget and grab yours. Now back to today's show. You know, we have spa owners. We have real estate people. What else do we have? Lawn care companies. Equestrian. Equestrian businesses. Chiropractors. All stuff like that. So I'm just thinking, you know, what sort of business principle other than what you just said, which is super number one priority, like you said, is know who you are, what your messaging is and how I love what you said, how, you know, what makes you the best for the client specifically. What are some other maybe systems or automations or whatever that you have people put in that kind of go across the board?
15:40Because, you know, every business is very different, but you have, like you just said, a methodology that sort of helps all of them to go through it. Yeah, yeah. Well, what I teach my clients is a two track marketing system. You have a one to one track, and you have a one to many track. The one to one, whether it's local business, or you serve people around the world, you've got to have that one on one track going. That's where social comes in. But there's a way to or networking locally, but there's a way to even handle social so that you spend an hour a day on it, maybe an hour and a half, not not the whole day.
16:16But the one-to-many track is where people usually don't go down because there's that word funnels associated with it, which has this scary thing like Russell Brunson. It's expensive. It's a lot of tech. But I very much simplify it. And for me, my go-to one-to-many track for my clients is exactly what we're doing here, guesting on each other's podcasts. Because we're going to be exposed to people, our people, in other people's audiences as we serve them. and as we serve other hosts. So there is a nuance and a methodology to getting on podcasts, choosing the right ones, nailing the interview, having your funnel, getting the right people in through that.
16:59But that is one of our one-to-many strategies, which is huge because you need both of them going because eventually when you get the systems established and you have your trackers for each of your leads, that is again, when things become simpler, they're streamlined. And then also, even in the early stage, you can hire an admin assistant who has very specific tasks. You can hire them for three to five hours a week and they can take so much off your plate. So I know I just said a lot, but there's a lot of good juice in there, too. We really need to be intentional and strategic in how we spend our time.
17:38Judy Weber:No, I think that's really important. I think obviously at the beginning of starting a business, you want, you're doing it all by yourself. And you think that that is what's worth them. Like that's worth your time. But if we can find a way to bring somebody else in somebody to help a little bit, you can really focus on one specific part and then they can do kind of the backend stuff and really help out. You know, you've helped so many women come from just a side hustle, a fun business to actually making money and making six figures. What is one shift in mindset in their messaging that really makes the best difference?
18:11Judy Weber:How do you help them do that? Mindset or messaging. What do you see kind of be that shift that happens? Okay. First, the messaging. You have to identify your buyer buzzwords, right? You want there to be a buzz about you. And a buzz creates excitement. And so we really need to put out into the world what I call hand raisers, which is when you're speaking to the right person, because you have been bold enough and courageous enough to identify who that best client is. And you're also speaking to them exactly where they live, exactly where they hurt and exactly what they want. So what is the big result that you provide and make it specific?
18:52You're right. It can't sound like everybody else. So that's the messaging side. And then the mindset side, um, as women, we are our own worst critics. And so the one big thing that's standing in the way of entrepreneurs worldwide is themselves.
19:36And we need to lean into that and stand again boldly in the authority he's given because you know what? There's an expert, but you're an authority, which is an expert plus. So we need to stand up loud and proud in that identity. oh i do i do love that so so so much we we have definitely been there like you said i think maybe daily i don't know but but you know and i love your perspective too you know because as you said it you know we've been called to this so so by not leaning into it what is that what are you really saying or doing you know so but we just we do have to remind ourselves of that probably like I said, maybe every day.
20:17But this brings me to another question, which I'm so glad we have you to ask about this from your perspective. Obviously, you know, decades of success, Christian Christ mindset, Christ led money. Money is also a problem, a mindset problem with women in particular can be Christian women too, as well. So how do you, what is your perspective? How do you coach on that and kind of bring people maybe into a different mindset with it? Yeah. Lots of things I could say here, but I will start here. Look at all of the wealthy people in the Bible. Not just men like David and Abraham and Job, but also Lydia, the seller of purple cloth.
21:03Also the Proverbs 31 woman. So we need to stop believing the lies that the enemy has said. And even, you know, I would say preachers on the pulpit, well-intentioned, have said things that are not true. You know, 1 Timothy 6.10, the love of money is the root of all evil. I know when I grew up, I always thought it was money itself was the root of all evil. So we have a lot of mind junk. And then someone like myself who was raised poor, right? My dad, most he ever made in a year was like, I don't know, 35, 40 ,000. And there were six of us kids. So I was raised to think, you know, making money is hard.
21:45The rich get richer, the poor get poorer. So the first thing we do coming in with my clients is we need to identify your lies, your stories that you keep rolling on repeat. And we need to not reframe them. We don't reframe lies. we dig them out like the weeds that they are and we obliterate them. And so we don't reframe the lie. We have to replace it with God's truth. You know, what does God say throughout the Bible? Now this is not the prosperity gospel. Okay. But there is a prosperity message in the Bible where when we honor his commandments and when we work diligently, the Bible says many places you will prosper.
22:25And so we have to work diligently and with joyful expectation that God's going to fulfill his promises.
22:33Judy Weber:We love that. We actually have been on a couple of Christian women podcasts early on. We would talk about the Proverbs 31 woman and how God wants you to prosper. God wants you to live while he wants you to have everything that you desire. You have to understand that and you have to really know that and truly believe it and know that it's possible. Because I think sometimes we get stuck in this. Well, my family did this. This is what I'm going to do. I'm going to stay in this cycle. Like you said, the richer get richer, the poorer get poorer. But there is such a different world out there. There is so much change that could happen for you.

23:08Yeah. We love the parable of the talents. And so you have some people, like we said, with a different mindset where they bury their gifts, they bury their talents, literally. And then obviously you have the well-done servant that doesn't do that. And I think obviously there's lessons in the Bible, like you said, that that teach you that. So Judy, will you tell our folks where they can connect with you, how they can find you and learn more about all this stuff that you help your clients with? I'm very intrigued. A lot of the words that you have, like buyer buzzwords, like I'm just on it with, I love all of this.
23:39So tell us where they can connect with you. Well, thank you so much, ladies, for this opportunity. And I do want to say that the parable of the talents, God gave me this a couple of years ago. That stands for the premise that playing small is a sin. So we think we're in humility, not being loud. Oh no, playing small is a sin. So go back and read that again. Okay, so, but what I have for your audience is I have my Sign More Dream Clients mini course and I wanna give them free and immediate access and they're gonna learn how to predictably sign more four and five figure clients without expensive ads, exhausting launches or grinding on social media.
24:19I'm going to introduce you to my peaceful profits framework, and we're going to help you install that into your business. So that's going to be found at judyweber.co slash mini course, judyweber.co slash mini course. We're going to sign us up. We're going to do that. All of those things that you said. Love that. Yes. And that's so generous. And by the way, you can tell she's dialed in her messaging, right? It totally worked. So we need to go learn from you. Thank you so much for coming on Financial Coaching for Women, Judy. Thank you, Vanessa. Thank you, Shana. It's been an honor.
