0:00Hello, everyone. The jobs data just shocked everybody. The private sector is flying. A billionaire predicts that you're going to have thousands of AI agents working for you, and we get a behind-the-scenes look at what it's like to work with Elon Musk. We're live today from the desk of Anthony Pompliano.

0:25Before we get into today's episode, I need your help. We currently have 44 ,291 subscribers on this YouTube channel. hit the subscribe button and let's get into today's episode. All right, ladies and gentlemen, the jobs data is proving once again, the government can't count. These people can't do arithmetic. They don't know one plus one equals two. It's a major problem. How are we supposed to make economic decisions when the data is being fed to us is inaccurate? How can you make good decisions with bad data? You can't. So let's just dig into the jobs insanity that we got yesterday. Kevin Gordon shows that the final benchmark revisions that came in yesterday for 2025 payrolls, they came in at a negative 862 ,000 jobs.

1:10That is the largest downward revision since 2009, the global financial crisis when the world was ending. Now put aside the fact that the government can't count for a second and you can find some good news in the data we got yesterday. Shinali Bassick points out that this was a hot jobs print and it was very hot compared to what people expected. Arguably, she says that it could have even been against the trend. The unemployment rate dropped to 4.3%. Whoops. That wasn't what everybody expected. So where are these jobs coming from? Where are we actually creating opportunity for Americans? Well, Geiger Capital writes, this is insane.

1:46The number of federal government employees is now at its lowest level in more than 50 years. It dropped off a cliff since Trump got elected. Government, bureaucrats, they're out. But 2026 is a different story than last year. Now that all the revisions have come in, Walter Bloomberg shows that 2025 was the worst year for U.S. hiring since 2003 outside of any recession. Now, he says that the U.S. added just 181 ,000 jobs in 2025. It's about 15 ,000 jobs per month. But that's, of course, after the major revisions, making it the weakest hiring year outside of recession since 2003. Now, despite the downgrade, January showed a strong rebound with payrolls beating forecasts and unemployment falling.

2:30The revisions reflect updated benchmark data and changes to the BLS business formation model. Again, they can't count. Who knows what's going on here? But now the challenge is whether we can actually trust this jobs data. We probably can't. It keeps getting revised later on, so it's impossible to tell what's actually going on. But at least we know that any job growth, it ain't coming from the public sector. It's coming from the private sector. And we're not hiring useless bureaucrats in the government who contribute nothing. Remember, the U.S. economy will accelerate because the private sector will automate.

3:04Just keep reminding yourself of that every single day. The U.S. economy will accelerate because the private sector will automate. We're seeing that with AI, stable coins, robotics, and much more. We are going to accelerate the U.S. economy. Jobs are going to come from the private sector, not the public sector. And we're going to use deregulation, tax cuts, a weakened dollar, tariffs, and all of these economic policies. And my guess is we're going to end up with a high growth economy with low inflation. And ultimately, prices are going to come down. And it's going to be a huge narrative violation.

3:42Every once in a while, I'm scrolling the internet and I see a prediction that just stops me in my tracks. Yesterday, that prediction came from Nikita Beer. He's the head of product at X. And he says that in less than 90 days, all channels that we thought were safe from spam and automation, they will be so flooded that they will no longer be usable in any functional sense. He's talking about iMessage, phone calls, Gmail, and more. And he says that we will have no way to stop it. Now, Nikita is not just some random person. This guy has built a number of companies. He's worked at Facebook and at Discord and many other social apps.

4:14And now he's working closely with Elon Musk. and he is intimately familiar with what's going on in AI and product development and software. So when Nikita talks about something like this, I'm paying attention. Now, Nikita also recently sat down for an interview and they said, hey, man, you work closely with Elon. He's the greatest entrepreneur of our generation. What is it like? Here's what Nikita had to say. Tell me what's it been like now a year in working for Elon? What's that like? I mean, obviously, we've all read the stories, the Walter Isaacson book. We know the intensity he brings, the passion he brings, but like, tell us what it's really like.

4:47So I worked at Meta, I worked at Discord, and I've basically done the roadshow around all the social networks and seeing how all these organizations operate. At an Elon company, it's a very flat organization. Large number of people report direct to Elon, and there's very few managers. Everyone has an incredible amount of agency. We come up with an idea. We build it in a week and it's out. You know, at Facebook, things would take months to get approvals, even after engineering was done. But working with Elon, I've never seen an executive with his amount of responsibility that is that deep in the weeds.

5:29He cares a lot. He does weekly reviews basically with every engineer at the company. Wow. And you just go around with you have one or two slides. You present what you got done that week. He gives feedback. The amount of contact switching that he has to do between SpaceX, Tesla, and XAI and X and Boring Company and Neuralink, it's incredible. And he has just an incredible perspective on each of these problems. and I think the thing that I didn't really fully internalize before working you know directly with him is uh Elon always takes the high road like he will always do the hard things when you're a consumer product builder you're often looking for like short-term growth hacks yeah quick wins and like I'd present some of these options and he'd be like no we're gonna do the hard thing he says we have to do this this is this is the thing the most important thing we have to do we have to rebuild the algorithm or we have to build these data centers and I think that's the reason so much wealth has been created with his companies and his shareholders and why investors kind of are ready to you know finance his next project because he will always do the hard thing and that was such a profoundly different approach to what I had been you know used to you know working at other companies or a lot of stuff I've seen in tech like a lot of these things the hard those hard things seem absolutely impossible but when he gives engineers agency to do it and says let's make it two weeks like like rebuild the algorithm in two weeks yeah amazing things happen Yeah, it motivates them.

7:12Yeah. And when you have very little communication overhead, small teams, these miracles happen. And that's how he built a data center in two months when everyone said it would take two years. So there you have it. If you want to know why Elon is so good at what he does, he's intense, he's always doing the hard thing, and he's super involved in the details. It takes an immense amount of effort to not only have intensity to do the hard things, but also to overmanage, to micromanage the details. Make sure that you're pushing everything forward. Elon's got a lot of things going on, but somehow he's super productive and he's able to have the capacity to make sure he's solving the hardest problems in our society.

7:53We're lucky to have him. Nikita's doing a great job at X. I love the product and so do you. And I think that when you hear Nikita talk about all channels that we thought were safe from spam and automation getting flooded, that's not something that helps me sleep at night. Whenever super successful entrepreneur billionaires start talking about what's going to happen in the future, I open my ears and I start listening. CZ, the founder of Binance, he recently said that soon you will have thousands of AI agents working for you. Take a listen to this. It's very clear. Soon, each of us is going to have hundreds or thousands or millions of agents working for us in the background.

8:30And they will be transacting. They will be moving money around. Right. So in theory, if I want to listen to this podcast, you know, your people should pay a few cents to listen to it. Whatever economic model that you want. More than that, CZ. Sure. Of course. Sure. But there was some economic model. Right. Right. Right now, you know, even last year, we talked about agents buying tickets for us. It's not quite there yet, but you will get there. Right. They will book restaurants. They'll pay for hotels for us. And then the agents can transact a million times more than us. and they are not going to use banks.

9:04Banks just won't be able to support them. Banks won't onboard an AML, KYC, an agent. It doesn't even make sense. You can't do a KYC. They can't swipe a card. It doesn't make any sense. But also what agents will do is they'll transact at a transaction volume and at a rate, it'll make the traditional network's head spin. Exactly. They're just not going to be able to support it. Yeah. Right. And also even stuff like investments and trading, right? So today, you open the Binance app, you look at a chart, you have to like, you know, click on a price level and you have to type in the price and a green or red button.

9:35That shouldn't be the interface. The interface should be like, hey, look, convert 10 % of my stable coin into BNB. And then you'll figure out, okay, if you have a large position, you will do it slowly over time. If you have a small position, which won't be one market order. All of that stuff should be just happening in the background. All right. So the agent can do this for us. Soon you will be able to. Now, CZ is saying that they're going to book hotels, buy tickets, trade crypto. So basically, they're going to do everything for you. I don't think he's wrong here. Now, when does it happen? How does it happen?

10:05Who provides the AI agents? How do they interact with money? There's a lot of open questions, but I see it every single day. One of the things I keep reminding people is remember six months ago, we did not have clawed code. Today, companies are reporting that more than 50 % of the code in their company is being written by AI instead of humans. That is a crazy acceleration, and I don't think it's going to stop anytime soon. Pretty much at this point, artificial intelligence has become a product that regardless of the way you use it, it is very valuable inside of your organization. You're going to have AI agents working for you professionally and personally.

10:40They're going to be doing a lot of things that you previously didn't enjoy doing. And my guess is it's going to free up your time, my time, and everybody else's to do much more productive things. And so this is a positive impact on the U.S. economy. We now are going to free up humans to do things that only humans can uniquely do. Thousands and thousands of AI agents are coming. The people who are going to benefit the most, they're the people who either build them or the people who learn how to use them sooner rather than later. So go spend the next couple of days. Become an expert on AI agents.

11:14My guess is that you're going to end up making more money. You're going to be happier and you're going to have more free time. And so learn to harness the power of the technology. CZ says it's coming, and so do I. That's it for today's show. Thank you guys so much for watching.
