I mean, listen, I can picture the people in the room pitching that idea. They're like, okay, so we sell everyone that makes the decision two. And so people are going to be like, is he retiring? Is he leaving the Lakers? What's he going to do? And then we hit him with the Hennessy ad. Fuck Hennessy. I still got PTSD from the decision one. I know, man, that's, that's, that's rough. Uh, sponsored by vitamin water. I don't know if you know that. I did. I did know that.
0:38I remember that. If you look back at the, uh, decision one, he's sitting in a boys and girls club and, uh, there's a big giant vitamin water fridge in the background. So how many times do you think he's been pitched that idea for the decision to, yeah, probably constantly any sort of like brand person or any sort of anybody is probably like, Hey, what if we did decision to, yeah, of course. Hennessy probably just busted it open crazy style monetarily to get him to do this. It does feel like it's cheapening the brand. I'll be honest. Oh, it definitely is. I don't think he should play fast and loose with his legacy like that.
1:16He's been working so hard 23 years to build this legacy. Then you're going to throw it all away for Hennessy? I don't care. I wonder if he feels like he's becoming more obsolete or like he's got some sort of fear around that because he's not what he once was. I mean, he's still playing an incredible level. He's still – He's LeBron James. No, for sure. But people go through a midlife crisis. Some people run marathons. Others do Hennessy ads. Listen, you know. I'm joking. I'm joking. I get it. I understand. You need something to put your mind to. No, but I wonder if he's like, you know, I'm not really the face of the league anymore.
1:56Like, you know, he doesn't need money, but he's like, you know, I got to figure out some ways to stay relevant. I wonder if he's doing that or if it's just a strict bag operation, which I can respect. I would never admonish a man for going after a bag. I think it's his, yeah, I think it's the bag. Well, you know what? LeBron, get your bag. Salute to you.
2:23All right, three, two, one. Kevin! What's up? How's it going? Good. I like when people give you the Kevin intro on the streets. They're like, Kevin. I think it's only happened like once. Yeah, it's happened a couple times. I've seen it happen. Don't lie. Kevin, how are you? I'm good. How are you? What happened to the Reds? They made the playoffs. They made the playoffs for one. Dude, they were gone so quickly. I didn't even have time to sort of Google them to see how they were doing. They were gone by the time I even looked into it. I mean, they lasted longer than that. I know. That's sad. That's why I was kind of.
2:55I mean, the Dodgers are a fucking wagon. They are. I can't. They were kicking the shit out of the Phillies last night. I mean, they were a wagon. Yeah. It was a little bit of a tough sports week last week for Cincinnati fans. Let's get into it. Down bad. Let's get into it. No, it was just. We don't have to get into it, but it was just like. We were on Monday Night Football. Got our asses kicked. Mm-hmm. On ESPN. Tuesday night, we were on ESPN at 9 o 'clock. Got our asses kicked. Yeah. Reds got their asses kicked by the Dodgers. Yep. And then Wednesday night, similar thing on ESPN. Didn't get our asses kicked as bad, but still wasn't ass kicking.
3:30Yeah. And yeah. So. Yep. Sports are dumb. Just got to see my teams lose three days in a row. Wow. Congrats. Pretty rough. But it's fine. I'm hanging in there. Yeah. No. Sports are dumb. I mean, listen. The Mets, yeah, collapsed in historic fashion, actually. and then the Giants suck the Jets suck basketball let's go we're back the Giants cost me a lot of money really? yeah you looked real pissed at Jackson Dart yeah you were not happy I was not happy I mean I'm not happy either I had three or four legs on a parlay that's what I needed and then I also took him straight up because I was like you know what I'm going to support the birthday boy I'm going to root for his team oh thank you it was an Alex Center bet sorry that my guys let you down it's alright we'll be better next week I don't know if we will but yeah no sports are done but yeah it's it's yeah we've got to what else are we going to fucking focus on design graphic design yeah I guess that's the thing that's the only thing I have left really running I'm ready to stop running I'm just at this point I'm so close to this goddamn race it's just like what are you running from let's just get this race done and so I can go back to being a normal person are you going to run at all what's your next thing oh after I'm done Yeah, I don't know.
4:47I think it should be chilling, I think. Yeah, keep hammering. Yeah, I don't know. Maybe travel? Maybe 26th is the year travel. Maybe you should get on some steroids or something. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. You're starting to take creatine, you told me. How's that going? You're looking big. I'm going on a little trip this next 10 days. Uh-oh. I'm going to Michigan and Indiana. Okay. Doing a little cousin's bachelor party. Okay. Going fishing. Ooh, yes. Ripping lips, catching fish. Wow, yeah. And then we're going to Notre Dame game. Oh, sick. And then I'll be in Cincinnati for a couple days. Okay. And then Georgia for a couple days.
5:22Now I'm sticking with my lifting regimen three times a week. Wow. I will not give up that. But once I get back from the trip, I'll start my creatine. Okay. So you're not starting yet. Yeah. One last hurrah. Not really one last hurrah. I mean, September, I said at the beginning of the month, I said, September, I'm locking in September. Okay. At the gym, at least three days a week. Yeah. I probably lifted three times a week, did a couple of yoga classes, and then I rode at least 125 miles. Yeah, you've been biking like a madman. Yeah, we're in this weird place where it's kind of still summer, but it's significantly fall.
5:56It's October. I celebrated a birthday, no big deal. 41? Yeah, no. And I run the marathon in less than four weeks. So it's all happening for me. It'll be great. Yeah, you're going to hit up America, real America. Yeah, the middle. Yeah, the middle. that was great yeah no you gotta i feel like this this happens for you kevin i feel like every four months maybe you're like i gotta get back to the middle i want to go home and see my family that that but also just like need to get uh back uh get off of these coasts these these this elitist absolutely you need to need to get back to where yeah i gotta get get away from these coastal elites and then you come back and you're like you know what thank god no honestly not really but you know I tolerate it.
6:43Yeah, but we haven't done a solo pod in a while. We've had a lot of great guests. I'm going to stop you there. We did one two weeks ago. Okay, fine. We spoke two weeks ago, but then a lot has happened in two weeks. I know. A ton has happened. This is a cumbersome deck. I spent pretty much all day yesterday combing through news stories. I got some news for you, Kevin. This is a 27-page pre-pro deck. There's a lot of shit happening. Holy shit. Is that a record for the podcast here? I don't check how many pages these things are. I do think we'll get through all of it. I mean, I think we're going to move pretty fast through it.
7:13But yeah, we got a lot. There's a lot of good stories, a lot of good through lines, good transitions to be had. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And that was before LeBron decided to take his talents to Hennessy. I know. We didn't even know. We didn't even know. You wanted to start early and I was like, I don't know, man. We got to wait for the decision too. Yeah, that's right. And now we know. Could change the course of our podcast forever. That's true. Yeah. I mean. But it didn't. It didn't. No, no. It's just promoting liquor. Well, we got more. We got lots to cover. So we might as well just jump into it. bunny's doing the halftime show how do you feel kevin good i mean yeah i i like bad bunny yeah me too but i don't love bad bunny but you know i'm an enjoyer yeah i think i think he's got great energy and i think it's gas it'll be a great it'll be a great halftime show yeah do people know he's from uh puerto rico though uh i don't think so i don't think anyone can i don't think anyone complaining really knows anything i think they're just you know he speaks spanish kevin yeah this is america fair enough but like i don't know i'd find something else to be mad about where's the petition is really where i yeah how do we how do we stop this from happening where's taylor swift she said no right yeah people are upset about her new album i think it's great so let me be the first person let me let me get this out of the way before we get too far into this podcast life of showgirls square is a strong very good very good album i don't know if i've just gotten fake news here but is it true that uh they in the album she says that travis kelsey's got a big wiener uh she's she's got a full song the song is called wood put it right here into the podcast and uh yeah no it it talks about how uh she uh has been uh digmatized really yeah by travis by travis kelsey wow that's just a fact i didn't say that that's what taylor swift said damn shout out travis kelsey yeah she's got a knock on wood get it knock on wood does she go is she specifying She doesn't specify exactly the size, but she just talks about how it was the key to open up her thighs.
9:09Wow. Yeah. No. These are just lyrics. These are just lyrics from Taylor Swift. Good for her. New album, Life of a Showgirl. Pick it up if you haven't heard of it. Life of a Showgirl. I heard there was some critique about it being a little basic. Taylor ain't got problems here. Oh, my God. What do you expect? She's legitimately the most basic person on planet Earth. That's her whole fucking brand. No, but she doesn't have any problems anymore. What do you mean? She's got plenty of problems. Like what? You know, she's got some beef with her record label, the guy that bought her Masters and, you know, a Charlie XCX.
9:43Why is there beef with Charlie XCX? XCS. Well, on Brat, she famously said something about how she didn't want to see her backstage at her boyfriend's show because she is now married to one of the guys in 1975 who was in a band with the other guy that was dating Taylor. So, you know, you throw out a jab like that at Taylor, you know, she's one of the great fucking grudge holders of all time. So she's going to clap back. Yeah, I mean, she does hold on to grudges, I guess. That's what I've heard. There was also a shout out, Kevin, speaking of the Wood track. There was a shout out to New Heights, which, you know, again, God damn it, you know, it could have been us, Kevin.
10:23yeah ohio boys are out here podcasting yeah you know let's go a podcast uh mention putting us on the map yeah me and the kelsey's shout out to ohio podcasters yeah great travis jason kevin yeah but yeah no it's it's good um uh uh selena gomez benny bongo got married i like that that's it this is also on the on the rundown i just i i don't know congrats yeah congrats to them congrats Let's talk about a little football reference here. Talk about outkicking the coverage. Oh, yeah. I mean, Benny Blanco has got some hits. I mean, go on Benny Blanco's Wikipedia. Yeah, I mean, he's talented. He's talented, no doubt.
11:04He's talented. Some numbers on the board. I just – Yeah. His overall look and feel and vibe is just not – Short king. Yeah, all right. Fair enough. I like him a little bit more now. Yeah, yeah. R.I.P. Jane Goodall. Yeah. Gone down in her prime. Yeah, R.I.P. R.I.P. 91. years old. The goat. Yeah. Yeah. One of the greats. Truly, truly a legend. I've seen a couple of her movies. Wow. Pretty sure. I think. I don't know. But yeah. Shout out to her and all of her conservation. I'm pretty sure she was in some movies. Kevin, the Emmys happened. Emmys happened so long ago. When did the Emmys? I thought they happened this weekend.
11:41i don't know emmy's 2025 that's it happened on september 14th kevin so we're almost yeah okay oh all right uh you didn't see it but they were really bad you know i don't watch any of the award shows and i think i figured out why it's because they're during football season okay you can't be bothered no i just i had no idea sunday night i had no idea that they were even like why Why would they go up against a giant like that? Yeah. I mean, Nate Pregazzi ruined the Emmys. I don't know if you heard about this, but he was the host. I didn't hear about this. Yeah. He did this bit where for every second that someone was on stage too long in an acceptance speech, money would be deducted from a charity.
12:28Oh. Which was like a kind of funny bit, but it actually totally ruined the night. Huh. So Nate Pregazzi ruined the Emmys. Damn. Sorry to hear it. Oh, you have a second decision, LeBron. Yeah, I saw it yesterday. Yeah, yeah. I thought he was going to retire at some point in the future. Bird of the year, Kevin. Big shout out to the New Zealand Bird of the Year. Was this the same Bird of the Year contest that sort of, what's his name from last week tonight? Perhaps. Yeah. John Oliver is his name. I couldn't think of John Oliver. Remember he was like big in the sort of bird competition last year. He kind of suede it in favor of one of the birds.
13:10I don't like that. Stop the steal. Just a quick question for you, Kevin. Some programming notes. Why do you think this is leading the show here today? The Carraria bird. Of all the top stories in branding and design, why? It's fodder. I mean, it's fodder. It's got a good brand. Carraria. Carraria. Carraria. Yeah, I can't even pronounce it, but it's a falcon that dives at pretty high speeds. I don't know. I was asked to put this in the show. Oh, really? Yeah, yeah. I wonder who asked you to put it in the show. Yeah, wanted me to put New Zealand on the map, I guess. Yeah, yeah, New Zealand. Yeah, so this was the John Oliver bit from last year.
13:51So he was really pushing for the putiketsia. Putiketia? I don't know. He had a bird that he was really pushing for. and uh yeah that dominated the uh the the voting so i guess he must have not uh got not gotten involved i'm just pretty uh just across the board i'm just pretty against foreign interference in elections so i don't i don't stand with john oliver on that okay okay so you're just happy for this falcon i am happy for the falcon it's endangered yeah yeah branding baby yeah no i I guess it's pop culture. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Speaking of branding, Bureau, the non-alcoholic beer brand by Tom Holland has partnered with happy.
14:39The coffee company from Robert Downey Jr. To do a home and away collab. Yeah. This is the, the new, the new thing to do. I guess we learned from Reese's and Oreos. You can't make one product for a collab. You got to have two claps. So we have a coffee Porter beer, and then we got a beer-o coffee. I don't know what that tastes like. I'm actually kind of curious. I just can't fathom what the beer-o coffee would be. I don't know what that would be like, but I have high hopes for the coffee-o. Can you see if they can send us some for our coffee maker? Yeah, I think we should probably get our hands on some.
15:18Yeah, we should definitely get our hands on some. Yeah, but the commercials are good. Robert Downey Jr. X Tom Holland? Yeah, big time. big time. It's collabing. Are they both sober? Celeb brands. I guess so. Yeah, Robert Downey probably is sober. I would imagine so. He was popping off. Yeah, he had a run. He used to pop off. Yeah. Shout out to him. Yeah. I think he had a legendary run. Yeah, no, I agree. I think you're right. I think he had some 90s. Are you watching that Charlie Sheen documentary? I'm not, but it's on my list. Yeah. It's on there. I haven't been watching that much television.
15:49I was running and working. Good. It's probably for the best. Yeah, probably. I still haven't finished the Jerry Jones documentary, but... Who cares? Speaking of legendary runs, I did get to the episode where Michael Irvin does all the cocaine and sort of has that big run-in with the law and everything starts to go downhill for the 90s cowboy. So... Did you see that show about the... Or the documentary about the girl who's getting cyber-bullied by her mom? No, no, no. That sounds like something I would watch. Yeah, pretty good. Netflix? Yeah, Netflix. I don't remember what it is. She was being catfished?
16:23No, she was being literally cyber bullied. Like literally like kill yourself. And then they were like, who's doing this? And they investigated all the people at the school. Sorry for the spoiler alert. And then it turns out to be her mom. That's rough. Jesus Christ. Oh, man. Yeah. No, I mean, Netflix is real. They'll make a documentary at anything, I guess. But that sounds insane. Maybe they're going to need to make a documentary about this Guy Fieri story. That's your guy. They already did 60 Minutes about it. Oh, that's right. I did see he was on 60 Minutes. That's what he was talking about was this story.
16:54Yeah. Oh, okay. That makes sense. So how dare they do this to Guy? It was a logistics partner that his brand hired. So Guy Fieri has a tequila company called Santo Tequila. I was not aware of this brand, but it makes sense that Guy Fieri would have a tequila brand, of course. And it's co-owned with the Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar, which Guy Fieri and Sammy Hagar being friends. Mashed made in heaven. Yeah, I was going to say, that's like the most obvious connection on planet Earth. Fire. They almost are splitting image of one another. And so they have a tequila brand. So they hired a logistics partner that I guess was going to take 24 ,000 bottles of tequila over the U.S.-Mexico border.
17:45Well, apparently their logistics partner hired another logistics partner who did the scamming. Got it. And so basically the trucks are gone? They went missing? Yeah, two trucks went missing. Sheesh. And they recovered one of the trucks or one of the inventories in Los Angeles, but one is still on the loose. Oh, they found one? Yeah, they found one. Okay. And so he lost, yeah, 24 ,000 bottles of tequila. So he went on 60 Minutes to talk about this? Yeah, because I guess it's like a big deal. I mean, it sounds like this is more prevalent than just, you know, they're not just hitting Guy Fieri. They're hitting Joe Blow in middle America, dude.
18:23You know what? I want to say I feel bad for them, but I also feel like I don't know there's going to be a ton of sympathy for Guy. I love Guy. I think he's a great, you know, sort of celebrity. Any interview I've heard from him, he seems like a genuinely good, nice human. Yeah. But the celebrity tequila situation in Mexico. Yeah. Here's the thing. I don't think it's supposed to garner sympathy for Guy. I think he's like, hey, this is an issue that other people and other businesses are dealing with. And he's like, you know, it's not that big of a deal to him. He's like a high-profile guy. But, I mean, I'm sure losing a million dollars for him isn't great.
19:00Is that how much money he said that this cargo was worth? Yeah. Well, I think it was two mil and then they recovered one of the trucks. Okay. But I think he's just trying to put it on the map for this. He's trying to help other people. Yeah, he's just trying to help other people not get scammed. Okay. Trying to help other celebrities that want to launch tequila brands. No, he's trying to help regular people not get scammed. Because regular people have businesses too, Alex. What? Regular people have brands. Oh, sorry. I moved on from other people having brands. I'm only in the celebrity brand. Yeah.
19:31We used to work with civilians that have brands. Now we only work with celebrities here at Center. So this is sad. This is, you know, I did read actually that they recovered. 11 ,000 bottles of the 12 ,000 bottles of one of the trucks. So someone had a really fucking good night. Yeah. A thousand bottles of tequila are gone forever. And I know where those went. They went into a lot of people's bodies. And a good time was had. That's the silver lining here. There was one damn good party. One mega good party, sure. You know, I think Guy Fieri will be okay. But it's good that he's trying to warn us.
20:06He's put it on the map. He's trying to help the common person. He's trying to bring awareness to scammers. I will say Anyone who fucks with guys might op That's what I'm saying Give him his tequila back Give him back his tequila Give him back his Santo tequila Kevin I will say that Ever since I started wearing this Garmin watch For running It is shocking how many scam calls I get a day Because I get Notified on my phone And so it buzzes And I'm like oh I'm getting like 15 to 20 It's bad for me right now Yeah, it's pretty insane. And I'm also getting crazy spam emails into my main inbox. Damn. And they're like, hey, Alex, I want to feature you in this magazine.
20:46We want you to speak at this conference. So it's like stuff that in my mind, at least I'm reading for like a half a second. And I'm like, oh, fuck, it's a scam. How do you know it's a scam? Because I could tell at this point. But they're good scams. They're getting through the fucking Google detection spam system. So watch out, people. I guess it's just what guy and I are here. and Kevin, all of us are here to tell you, is like, don't get got. It's easy, though. It's easy to get got. These scammers are fucking running some strong place out there. I know. I mean, they got to reinvent themselves.
21:18I mean, to stay ahead of the curve, the state we live in. Yeah. I once got scammed real hard in college. I went to get milk in the middle of the night, and I was trying to make some hamburger helper, tuna helper, I believe. And I just needed eggs, and some guy came up to my car. I was like, hey, man, I just need a ride around the corner. And it just got me real bad. And next thing I know, I was in the middle of nowhere, driving him to some crack house situation in downtown Buffalo. Yeah. No, I mean, it happens. Trying to be good to people, trying to be nice. So I don't know if I've told this story on the podcast.
21:53I don't think so. This is a real story. This really happened to me. Yeah. So never trust anybody. That's the lesson there. How many bottles of tequila did you lose? Just a couple hundred. Yeah, it was rough. Oh, breaking news, Kevin, here on the program. Glenn Powell launched olive oil today. Oh, yeah? Yeah, I just saw it. Smash Kitchen. Really? Yeah. Smash Kitchen is expanding beyond condiments quickly. Breaking news. Yeah, I know. How did I miss that? I don't know, but it just happened today. Smash Kitchen announces. That dude's everywhere. Yeah, no. They spent months and months and months to get the perfect olive oil line.
22:30I heard he had a bad experience with olive oil. That's true. He was on a trampoline and they put olive oil everywhere and just like couldn't get out of the trampoline for a while because it's so slippery. Yeah. I'm going to say the packaging looks generic as hell. It just looks like every other type of olive oil. He's launching one, two, three, four, five, six different oils. It's a collection. Damn. Okay, Diddy. Three cooking sprays, one avocado oil, one extra virgin olive oil, and one organic extra virgin olive oil. And one baby oil? Yeah, no baby oils. But when it comes to Glenn Powell's cooking, he spares no expense here.
23:11I'm sure, yeah. That's why his brand's at Walmart. Oh, one of them is a robust extra virgin olive oil. What does that mean? Yeah, I guess. I guess. I mean, go off, Glenn Powell. Just keep launching things. Did you see his new show, Chad Powers or something? I saw an ad for it. What is that? It's like about a quarterback who messes up in a game at a high-profile college, and then he comes back at another college under a fake name, and I guess he wears prosthetics, and nobody knows or something. Was that Eli Manning's bit? They've been running this bit. Eli Manning did it. Jared Goff did it. Everyone fucking did it.
23:53So is this a TV show that is based off of an Eli Manning bit? Perhaps. I think it is. There are so many of these shows. That's bad. That's bad. Yeah. Yeah, I'm looking into it right now. So Eli Manning created the Chad Powers persona for a prank video where he went undercover as a walk-on quarterback for Penn State. I remember that. Yeah. Good video. Yeah, good video. Leave it at the video. And so now Glenn Powell's making this into a comedy series? I'm sure it's going to be funny. Okay. And Eli Manning is a producer. That makes sense. It's, oh God, man, we got to come up with better ideas than this.
24:31Holy shit. Got it. So it's, so I, okay, I'm putting the pieces together. So it's an ESPN thing and then it turned into a Hulu series. Yeah. You hate to see it. Come on. Yeah. Let's get some new ideas in there. Yeah. That's rough, but it makes sense because I saw the ads for it. I was like, why do I, why do I know about this? Or like, what, where did this come from? It's kind of like a, also Danny McBroadway did this like character, right? Like Eastbound and down. Like that was. Oh yeah. Kenny Powers. Chad Powers is not going to be able to hold a fucking candle. Okay, so there you go. Kenny Powers and Chad Powers have the same fucking name?
25:06Yeah. Glenn Powell, you're fucking out. Glenn Powell, stop it. Stop it. I mean, and also, Smash Kitchen, Olive Oils, I mean, they're just going to go for it. Yeah, you're fucking out. Yeah, they're just going for whatever. Somebody the other weekend told me I looked like Glenn Powell's brother. Wow. I was quite chuffed. I kind of made my night, and now I don't mind Glenn Powell as much. you know because you because you look kind of because one guy told me i look i looked like i could be his brother well you know what i said sure yeah sure it's freaking jawline bro yeah no i i listen i i i don't see it but listen take a comment where you can get them you know yeah i don't i don't see it either but yeah sure it definitely made my opinion of glenn powell more favorable that's right exactly 100 so i guess makes sense i get it shout out to him well just Just a random guy?
25:54It was at a friend's birthday, so it was like a friend of a friend. Yeah. I guess it's my friend now. Yeah, no, exactly. Yeah, a friend for life, for sure. Kevin, speaking of brands that are launching new things, Gigantic has a massive rebrand. Huge. Huge. So Gigantic is a chocolate company that launched, in my memory, just a couple of years ago. 2018, 2019, I believe. Really? Yeah. Okay. So it's been that long? I think so, yeah. Okay. So if you remember, I've never had one, but I remember really appreciating the design because it was done by our friends over at Gander. Yeah. Fire design. Great design.
26:36Very bold. Very colorful. Really fun. Whimsical. Yeah. A good brand. Really nice design. I remember looking at it and being like, Gander, those guys. They did it again. They do it again. and so I was a little surprised this week to see that they have completely changed their look they've completely gotten rid of this is not a refresh the revolution this is a complete pivot and the new brand is graffiti adjacent is what I would call it yeah it's New York it's apparently a brand from New York so they are embracing their New York edge you like the Beastie Boys And so now it has a very Beastie Boys inspired logo.

27:19It has a cigarette packaging sort of structure. Yeah, these bars are really small. And it's got black spray paint all over the sides. And it's got all sorts of spray paint. Yeah. Textures and shit. I don't know that this is a particularly great design, but I think it's an interesting pivot for the brand's persona. Yeah. Because I do feel like this, and we've been talking about this for a long time in the studio, and I feel like Andrea has been talking about this for like three years, but like this sort of fun, playful, whimsical, joyful, colorful, millennial aesthetic has been overrun. And that's how trends come and go.
28:01It's like they become very popular. It sort of becomes mainstream. And therefore, every brand on the shelf starts to look the same. so then nothing looks different yeah and i think gigantic potentially was feeling the sort of heat of that definitely i feel like at the time though you know it was yeah it looked great and then you know as time goes yep more and more things start to look like it and emulate it you know start showing up on a lot of people's mood boards yep yep i mean that's how it goes shout out to gander doing a great job you know of course yeah i mean again like when you do great design and people are inspired by it.
28:40That's just like the way that, unfortunately, this industry works, as you mentioned. That's show business, baby. That's the life of a showgirl. Like, you know, it goes on Pinterest, then it finds its well onto a million boards and, yeah, becomes the kind of new standard. Yeah. Minimalism be damned. And so I think this is an interesting, like, sign of what's to come. More punk, renegade brands that are sort of going against the curve, trying to be kind of crazy online. And I liked the sort of approach that they took where they buried their previous design. Yeah, I thought the funeral was a nice touch.
29:17I'd love to get Gander's POV on that. I don't know, to my knowledge, any other design or design studio whose former design or brand has been laid to rest like that. Yeah, no, you're bringing up a good point. And I do find it, I do think it would be like kind of a respectful thing. I think if I had done something and it was, you know. it was killed, I think it's only right to lay it to rest in a respectful manner. I think that's where I'm like, all right, that's funny. That's got a nice edge to it. I appreciate that. I think there's definitely some humor in it. I would think that maybe they would see the humor in that.
29:53If you're going to kill someone's design, you may as well throw a sort of funeral for it. You may as well sort of send it off in a tongue-in-cheek way. yeah so yeah i i could imagine also being a little definitely uh upset about it because companies have moved away from our designs and it's hard not to feel a little it's never a good it never feels good but i i don't know maybe they did this design do you know did they do no i don't think that they did i was okay um we should have reached out for a comment i i did i reached out to the new studio but um oh okay so i definitely should have reached out to gander for comment Yeah, for sure.
30:33To my knowledge, as I was combing through the comments, I did see the gigantic brand in there saying Studio Scallion. Okay. Understood the assignment. And it's a branding studio with 37 followers on Instagram. Okay. Their one post is like a cabbage dog, a dog made out of cabbage, I think. Okay. So I like their vibe. Yeah. Pretty good. i i genuinely like you know again like i don't think it's like the greatest design ever but like i don't think it doesn't need to be like i think they certainly could have done much worse with the graffiti aesthetic like i think they did a pretty clean mark as far as like in that world like i think it's good i think it's really hard to do like punk like uh graffiti inspired design It always kind of comes off quite cheesy.
31:26It always comes off as like un-punk, I think, to do something that looks like that. With that said, I think they've done a pretty decent job of kind of getting across the story. And I do think like for Candy, right? Like I do think it makes sense. Like this is about indulgence, right? This isn't healthy, even though I don't know what the sort of macros are, Kevin. And I'm sure it's probably got some better for you story to it. But like, I think it's got quote unquote clean ingredients. Okay. But like, let's be real. Like this isn't, this isn't. Yeah, it's for indulgence. This is, this is for, yeah, this is for a little snack.
32:04Yeah. A little sweet treat. So why not lean into that? And the flavors actually sound really good. Double dark mint, crispy coconut, almond horchata, salted peanut. They did a really good job at boosting the taste appeal as well. Like these things look a lot tastier now. I personally. You had me interested. Yeah, I'm intrigued. And certainly, I think what's to come on Instagram looks like, you know, it kind of gave me mischievous energy, you know, which is kind of like a great compliment. Obviously, liquid death is the obvious comparison as well, like where you're just like, hey, we're gonna we're gonna fuck shit up.
32:39And yeah, we're not gonna take ourselves so seriously. Yeah, I like this sense of irreverence. Yeah. You know, as a rude boy myself, I like seeing brands mix it up. You know, I like a little edge. Yeah. Again, it could go really corny really quickly. Yeah, but we'll see. We'll see. Yeah. I mean, I think it's a good, I think it's like the design is okay, but I think the overarching brand vibe shift is smart. And I think it makes sense to move away from like everything else that kind of looks like fun and joyful and you know sort of colorful on shelf so cool speaking of gigantic candy rebrand wow did you see what a transition did you see that starburst rebrand i did see this and i when when a major brand like starburst gets rebranded what i love about it is that this is an evolution you get to see um the history of the brand and you see the sort of like the logos through the years Also, Starburst, of course, iconic candy.
33:36Everyone loves the pink ones. I like the red ones. Yeah. You don't really think of them from a design lens because they're so iconic. You just kind of think of them. You look at them, and you're just like, oh, that's what Starbursts are. Yeah. But you don't really look at the logo or the typography or the design of it. And now I am. I'm looking through a different lens. And the last one was kind of fucked up. You don't really think of it. It was really an emphasis on the burst. Yeah, it had sort of like a fisheye lens. It looked like it was going to burst. And Kevin, one thing about me and my design sort of proclivities is I really like when an idea is simple.
34:20I like a simple idea executed well. And you know what the idea here, Kevin, is? Squares? Squares. Yeah. The candy Starbursts are squares. So what? Someone very smart was like, what if the typeface wasn't square? You know who did it? Who did it? Straightforward design. Wow. That makes perfect sense. Yeah. Definitely. They didn't overthink it. They're just like, let's do what we do. Let's go straight forward. And they did a kind of fiery brand for Play-Doh as well. Oh, really? Similar vein of taking a large institution or a large brand and having a really simple, clean idea about it. What if the typeface was made out of dough?
35:00Was squishy? Straightforward. I didn't even see it. Is that what they did? Straightforward. Yeah. That's straightforward design. I also like the... So the tight face is great. The sort of system makes a lot of sense. It's based on squares. Rounded-ish squares. And then they did some square merch. Oh, square merch. Cherry on top. Yeah. Tote bag, square, if you get the right ones. A pillow. Square. Throw pillows. Pocket. Pocket square. Yeah. And a t-shirt. Classic. Boom. Run the ball. Absolutely. I will say looking at the old logos, I did really like the 1997 logo. Yeah. Stop us if you've heard this one before.
35:38We really enjoyed the 97 logo. Yeah. The 97 logo. That's like, that's timeless. I know. And I'm sure that they, any good agency I'm sure would explore that one because it's the cleanest. Yeah. I mean, it's just such a good mark. Yeah. They probably wanted to go back to sort of more that vibe. And I feel like they kind of, they kind of are, but they kind of are not. They're kind of still stuck in their sort of current brand system. Yeah, I think they landed in a good spot, though. Yeah, and I think building a typeface around that sort of squarish logo makes a lot of sense. But yeah, I agree with you.
36:13I feel like we always look at the old 97 or 80. We always look at the 80s or 90s logos. Yeah. Let's go back to those. Yeah. So, yeah. I mean, it's tough because they kind of have to play the joyful, tasty kind of thing. and they're doing that. So it's kind of like they're caught between the middle. The colors are also just fucking juiced. Juiced to the max. So shout out to them for that. That's good. Yeah. Straightforward design. They're not lying in the name. Yeah. Yeah. No. I'm looking at their... I'm on their website. They have... They got a... Considering they're straightforward, they have a powerful methodology that's called full.
36:57full is an acronym f is for found u is for understood l is for loved and then the other l is for lived so nice uh i'm gonna say that feels a little complex for me i don't know straight straightforward okay cool um but yeah no did a nice job on this branding and i quite like it obviously the colors are iconic i might have tried to stick a little bit closer to the iconic colors of the bursts themselves. Where does the name come from? Starbursts. Like what? It's juice. Just juice. What is it? It's just sugar? It's just a fruity. Yeah, fruity, sugary. Fruity, sugary snack. Maybe like some sort of taffy-esque thing that's not taffy.
37:42Maybe it's taffy light. We have a quote. The iconic brand was losing clarity at shelf and beyond. Competitors crowded in, assets drifted, and consistency slipped. To fuel our fresh TikTok fandom, shout out to the fresh TikTok fandom, we needed to embrace the excitement and create future-proof appeal. So we rebuilt the brand world around what makes Starburst unique, juicy fruit, joyful energy, and that irresistible square, inviting, impactful, built to flex. Yeah, that's a high-quality brand rationalization. Absolutely. I really love to see it. But I do think the word mark, I think the typography, the color, it's all working for me.
38:24Good job. Yeah. Way to go. Speaking of another brand, Pizza Hut has changed their logo. Apparently, over the years, this is the 10th logo. And I thought we solved this situation last year, or what turns out it was six years ago. Yeah. I don't know what they're... What are they doing? What are we doing here, Pizza Hut? So basically, Pizza Hut had one of the worst branding. So they had incredible branding through the 70s and 80s and most of the 90s. And then they got caught up in this late 90s, early 2000s re-rand hell. Yeah, almost like a Taco Bell-esque with the yellow underline. Yeah, they went to some fucking hand-drawn type.
39:05They went this italic. They ruined it. They ruined the brand. The structural hut had no integrity. It was lopsided. How do you expect me to believe that that would be a safe structure to eat in? Yeah. The hut, as we know, is the iconic part of the brand. It was so iconic that it was what the buildings used to look like. And so then they lost their way in the 2000s. They lost their way. And then in 2019, they figured it out. They went back to what they were known as. So what are we doing here? Now we're in 2025, and they're rebranded again. And again, these are all incremental changes. It's all based off of one fucking logo, which is the iconic Pizza Hut logo that if you close your eyes and you picture it, that's what it is.
39:51And so now they've gone and they made it italic and they've kind of like cleaned up some white space in the logo, which I get it. It was always a little awkward, but who the fuck cares? No, Pizza Hut went woke. Yeah. They cleaned up this white space and then they made the logo all one color. Yeah. Why? Why? I think we need a concerted effort here. I think we need to come together as a country and shame them into bringing back the
40:2174 logo which they pretty much had up until they just changed it. They lost their way for 20 years and then they made the right decision to go back and now they're fucking with it again. Going in the wrong direction. I don't think it's inherently a bad logo I think it looks fine but there's no need to do it. right no no no you know it's just this uh this is like going back to their like old weird sort of thing desire to do something to do it all they did was really just fuck with disease a little bit and make it one color i don't know i don't know why i'm not here for it why are we doing this pizza and you know they didn't really even like roll it out or anything all they have is like yeah there's no like i there's no like pr or like there's no press release all they have is like a commercial with anderson pack and it's they're talking about an identity crisis i didn't watch shit i don't know i can't be ball i can't be anderson pock i am on their instagram they have their new logo as their avatar so i guess they're running with it uh also they have one story and it's a mascot by the name of huddy who is just the name he's just a basketball red uh furry guy with a hut as a head all right sure are you familiar with huddy are you familiar with this what wait for his head to pop oh he's a real man i mean i kind of like it yeah me too i'm I'm into it.
41:40I didn't know. Shout out, Huddy. You know, maybe I'm just hungry, but I could fuck up some pizza right now. That's gross, but sure. Yeah, I would. I would. I would. Also, again, when these stories happen, we have to go back and look at their old branding. They had some fucking fire shit going on in the 60s and 70s. They were really on some blacky shit. They need to probably revive some of that stuff via merch. Yeah. No, good idea, Kevin. A Pizza Hut logo with that fucked up shit right there. Yeah, it's great. Now we're talking. Kevin, Choco Taco, the story that will never fucking die is back. This time it's Taco Bell and Salt and Straw.
42:14I'm pretty sure we called this. I feel like at the Choco Taco turning point where it died. Did it die? It did die? They died. They brought it back. I don't know what the current status of it is, but I think it was just begging to be reinvented or re-innovated from a better ice cream brand. and, you know, insteps, salt and straw, working with Taco Bell. And yeah, I like the collab. It's good stuff. I would definitely try this. Like, to be honest, I'm not going to go out of my way to get my hands on this. But if conveniently I run into it in a store or somebody has it, I'll definitely eat it. And I think the real hero of this collab is the sauce packets.
43:01Yes. So yeah, I was just looking into the Choco Taco. So it did actually get discontinued in 2022. So that story - Oh, they brought it back and it died again? No, no, it never, that was the death of it. Oh, that was the death of it. That was the act, like Kondike officially shut it down. So I guess, you know, I'm glad it wasn't just a stunt and they were just like, they talked about sort of, Alexis Ohanian is in this Wikipedia article talking about trying to bring it back, but yeah, no, it actually died. And then this is not an official taco taco. This is just a taco latte or just a taco. It's the same concept, but just done by Taco Bell.
43:37They're probably not allowed to call it a chocolate taco. So yeah, I guess Taco Bell is... Taco Bell will do anything. I feel like that's their whole new gimmick is we're just launching innovation. Live in Moss, baby. Live in Moss. They're doing it all, which I probably imagine. I have no idea of the numbers, but I bet that works. Sure. I feel like most fast food is driven by just like new shit. Yeah. It's like, oh, I'm going to, oh, they got that new thing at Taco Bell. I'm going to go check it out. Totally. And you're like, oh, and when you were going there and you didn't know they had a new thing, I was like, oh, look at that new thing.
44:09I want to try that. It's like, no way. That's crazy. Yeah. I agree with you completely that the thing that's interesting about this is not the actual Taco Taco, which kind of looks pretty good, but the fact that they're using the sauce packets that are iconically used for hot sauce as sweet wild berry and mango jalapeno dipping sauces for the Taco Taco. It'd be kind of cool. I mean, I feel like this... I'm here for that. It's kind of a nice formula for things. I mean, I would probably buy some nice sauces in those packets. Yeah, no, I like that Taco Bell's using their brand assets. Absolutely.
44:39Keep hammering. Yeah. And Salt and Straw makes really good ice cream, so it makes sense that Taco Bell would partner with another brand. Yeah. Because Taco Bell's known for their ice cream. So I'm here for all of this. Absolutely. And happy for them. I'm happy also that the Rizzler's finally putting out his collab with Arizona. Did we talk about this already? We did. we didn't talk about it being back but we talked about it yeah because they released it around April Fools and we thought personally I was a bit upset because I thought that I had gotten got I thought that I was fooled and I didn't like being fooled I wanted to see the best for the Rizzler and you know I'm a Rizzler stan Guy Fieri and the Rizzler two of the top two dudes doing it yeah big week for you Kev so when I heard they weren't immediately making it.
45:28I was a bit upset, naturally. But now that they're in the lab, it's coming out. There's pictures of the Rizzler and the CEO of Arizona. Electric photograph. Oh, so good. Yeah. That guy who I've never seen before, but he looks at least six foot 12. He looks massive. And the Rizzler and his little chubby body just makes me so happy. Again, there's just something about that face that just likes me out I think you're going to be able to buy them online and we're going to have to get for the wall probably three of them, two to try one for the wall I don't even need to try this, I just need to put it in the collection absolutely this photo of him wearing goggles in the laboratory is just electric it's fire and again, I feel bad that this kid is at some point going to grow up and at some point he will not be a chubby kid he's got he's got longevity yeah um i hope that i hope that he yeah can just stay this age forever so that we can just he's a year older and he's still he's still relevant good good i'm happy for him i'm happy for the rizzleberry i'm arizona one of the great american uh brands of uh in of of our time um yeah a tall boy a 99 cent tall boy never does uh never doesn't get the job done absolutely uh before we got out of here coming we got like five ai stories yeah i don't hate talking about ai but well it's important and you know these are these are pretty big stories this week yeah um the big story in my feed is sora which is just seems to be like everything on tiktok is just videos of uh fucking um stephen hawking stephen hawkins and tupac and martin luther king doing boiler room dj sets it's yeah i'm i'm addicted to the stephen hawking videos gotten really crazy i this is That's the best thing that AI has ever done is Stephen Hawking videos.
47:23Like when he's going, he's in hell in the cell. And he breaks through and busts through. I think he slams Mick Foley through a table. Oh, Jesus Christ. Yeah, I mean, it's just really, yeah, it's quite crazy. And I think it's a sign of what's going to come because, God damn it, you can't tell that these videos are fake. Like the only reason, I mean, obviously when you see people that are dead and long gone in, you know, sort of WWF, like it's a problem. But some of the videos I've seen mostly of Jake Paul. Yeah. Of like him like shaving his head. It's pretty fucking realistic. And then I've seen some like people that I know like making videos of themselves.
48:06And it's like pretty like, I don't know. It's crazy. I mean, obviously, as we all know, it's taking over every industry. But seeing video content that looks realistic and hard to decipher is crazy. Yeah, no. But did you see ChatGPT telling the human story behind AI? So, yes. I did see there was an ad campaign. Beautifully shot. Beautiful advertising. Incredibly executed. Shout out to the people who did that. Who did them? Do you know? I mean, I do. It's in the notes there. It's in the doc. Aisle of Annie. but never heard of them you know they did like a 35 millimeter fucking yes shut up shut the hell up yeah i mean this is like classic like advertising like we're gonna tell you the heartstrings it kind of reminds me of jesus you know those ads yeah it's just like it's just kind of like a sweet story about how jesus can save us and it's like kind of the same thing but just replace jesus with yeah open ai i will say that i did pause on the uh pull up one because i wanted to see what it had to say because i'm looking to get my pull-up game up i even talked to your trainer about it oh yeah jerry joseph experience yeah yeah uh shout out jerry joseph um i don't need an ai i got jerry joseph that's right me too that's why i don't need to ask uh i don't need to ask chat gpt although it has been helping me on my train no i mean i just like i don't know i'm pretty i'm a little anti-ai i think um some of these data centers are a bit concerning like uh I pulled an actual stat here.
49:38Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Everyone, please hold. Kevin has a stat. I researched this. Okay. What do you got, Kevin? So according to Red Canary Magazine, I don't know who they are. That sounds fair. But according to them, there's almost 60 data centers in the Phoenix area. And combined, they use 177 million gallons of water per day. Drinking water. Chad GPT does. In Phoenix. Okay. Where it's a desert. and you know there is so you're saying this there's there's water crisis there yes okay yeah they are using a fuck ton of water a fuck ton of energy for people to not have to sift through google to find an answer i don't know i don't know about that well but when your car breaks down on the side of the road i mean what are you gonna do watch a youtube video about how to fix it go to chat gpt yeah sure i i'm with you kevin i mean there's there's lots Lots of reasons why AI is fucked and problematic.
50:38But I also think that these ads feel like they're just someone's LinkedIn dream. They have a bit of a LinkedIn energy. Definitely. That I'm like, is this real or is this just for LinkedIn? But it is apparently a real ad. And they had an AI. Sorry, they had a Super Bowl commercial last year. Yeah. So that was very design forward. This feels more of the human side. Yeah, we got to tell the human story of AI. Yeah, speaking of the human side of AI, Kevin, people are lining up for a cloud hat in New York City this weekend? Why the fuck? Clawed, I believe. Clawed. Yeah, it's definitely a pun. This company loves puns, apparently.
51:17Really? Oh, it's a thinking hat. It's a thinking cap. Yeah. Okay. Which, you know, I think we've had our fair share of thinking caps in decks, you know, several years ago. Yeah, I mean, pretty low-hanging fruit as far as merch goes. but yeah people lined up around the block in new york city to get a free hat and a free coffee from a from claude in an ai assistant built by anthropic ai so what what does that mean it's just an ai company and claude is like an ai assistant it's like a helps you do shit it's like a gpt type thing great i like that it also has a logo that looks like a butthole i think that's really important here yeah it's a portal yeah i mean i think whoever diagnosed that all ai logos look like buttholes is really a legend and uh i think it's great that every one of these companies that forever and ever will be part of our lives um we just look at them or at least i look at them yeah i'm i'm kind of hoping some of these fizzle out butthole but um yeah no i mean these are the same people that line up for the branded experiences at coachella i was telling you about they're like they're like oh i'm gonna wait in line for like four hours and you're gonna to get like yeah some some some one free pair of socks yeah and then you know a lot of a lot of writers a lot of a lot of ai writers on linkedin talking about how this is like such a good uh good experience like this is peak brand collab fucking whatever really i don't know people are saying positive things people are saying positive things about it probably to probably to win favor with the computers probably to win favor with the clankers wow well that makes me happy i'm glad that some people think this is good you know what no one thinks is good uh friend uh apparently they are another ai company but more in the wearable uh space i was not familiar with this brand until this story broke out which is not the ads but the reaction to the ads oh yeah which uh shout to andrea i think she was the one that brought to my attention but i've been seeing this everywhere it's a necklace that you wear around and it listens to you and then it gives you advice it listens to your conversations and then it gives you sort of like tips and commentary why the fuck would anyone want that it sends you messages yeah so it's like your companion I guess people that's why it's called friend so it's kind of like a friend that walks around with you but then just like listens to your conversations and gives you advice Like who, nobody wants that.
53:52I mean, I think people do want it. They said they've claimed to have sold, uh, I don't know, maybe less than a thousand, maybe more than a thousand. I don't know. Is that a lot? Uh, hard to say, but I don't, I was not familiar. I do feel bad for anyone who feels the need that they, yeah. Feels the need to have one of these things. Have a friend. Um, and I think, you know, people got caught on this a little bit, um, from the expectation of the product renders to the reality of the actual product, which falls short of the expectation they created. So shout out to them for doing that. You'll never guess who's behind the brand.
54:29It's a Harvard dropout. What? Yeah. Wow. Friend.com. Shout out to them for getting friend.com. Yeah. I mean, that's the most impressive thing about this entire story. That is really amazing. It's got a weird kind of Jesus-y vibe to it as well. But yeah, I guess the necklace itself kind of looks AI generated, but it doesn't look bad. It looks like kind of this cool oval thing. And then it looks like they were having issues with shipping their orders out. So that was part of what people got upset about because they were putting up all these ads all over New York City. Allegedly, he spent all the money, all the company money, which I guess was like a million dollars on running these ads in New York City.
55:12And he was banking on the outrage. He was banking on people fucking hating it. Oh, really? You know, circulating. He was IRL rage baiting. Wow, it worked. Yeah. It worked. We're talking about it right now. We are talking about it right now. I already ordered mine, so I'm here for it. But yeah, and then people have gotten them. And what it looks like in person versus what it looks like on the website are two very different things. Yeah, it looks like shit. Yeah, it looks like cheap as hell. Yeah. How much does this thing go for? I thought I read$129. Oh, that's cheap. Yeah, it is pretty cheap. But we live in a surveillance state.
55:48So like I always say, keep those clankers away from me.
55:54Yeah,$99. So you are right, Kevin. That is the price of your new AI companion that follows you around, listens to your conversations and gives you unsolicited advice. I couldn't think of anything I'd rather have less of. I need more people weighing in on my life. And listening in and snitching, I imagine. It's probably like definitely telling brands and companies like what I'm interested in buying. Like that's I got to imagine that part of this. I mean, 99 bucks, it's not going to make money. So you got to fucking probably sell the data to fucking companies that are just going to be like, Alex is thinking about getting another knee brace and all of a sudden getting knee brace ads.
56:31And yeah, this is this is the future. That's a snitch. That's not a friend. Yeah, it's not a friend. No, not a friend to me. But man, it does look really bad. some of the screen grabs of like the messages it sends is also crazy too it's like like the fact that it listens to your conversations and someone would purchase that is that's the craziest part of it yeah i can't i can't believe this idea got funded i mean i people are lonely people need friends people are looking for i need i need to get an idea funded yeah all right kevin well let's talk about that off mic how about what's enemy uh same thing as friend but it's ops yeah just to give and it's transparent about it surveilling you yeah it's like dude what the fuck what are you wearing today dude like yeah yeah here's some here's some ads for better clothes you look like shit dude you're wearing that those fucking shoes again man time yeah what what the fuck um yeah i guess surveillance state is happening um at all on all fronts including the bathroom kevin i'm actually fucking hyped for this one so what's the name of this company Throne.
57:38Throne. Another great name. How are they all getting these amazing names? And so if you've heard of Whoop, now you get something to watch your poop. Is that your line? Is that from Whoop to Poop? From Whoop to Poop. Yeah. The co-founder, another Harvard dropout. Of course. Yeah. He founded Whoop with a couple other people. Oh, so he's also the same guy behind Whoop? Yeah. From Whoop to Poop. Got it. And it's not exactly 100 % my line. No. That writes itself. Yeah, it's been circulating. So what it does, so it's a device that you strap to your toilet. A camera. A camera. AI-powered camera. And so the other device you strap around your neck and it listens to your conversation and gives you unsolicited advice.
58:22This one takes pictures of your toilet and gives you health recommendations? Yes. So it monitors your prostate health. Like, it can, apparently it can detect red flags that may prompt you to get, like, checked for colon cancer, which is a big problem. You know, the rates are rising, so people should probably get, you know, get that shit checked out. And it gives you, like, health indicators on, like, what you're doing. It's like whoop, but for poop. Okay. And how much is this going to cost me? Hopefully a lot. yeah I guess it's$400 small price to pay yeah not too bad and then oh and then a quick little $6.99 per month so you know sure why not honestly I'm all for this yeah I think it's a smart idea to be pulling health indicators from your body's excrements that are literally predicting your health indicators So those are health indicators IRL.
59:29I don't know that this is a bad idea. Yeah. I don't know that this is something that people are going to be flocking to. I don't know. We'll see. I'm not mad at this idea. I think it's a good idea. Am I going to get this? No. I don't want, again, I'm just afraid of the ads. You know, I'm going to get fucking, they're going to be like, Alex needs more vegetables. You know, start feeding me ads in my feed, you know. The website claims to not sell your data. Oh, yeah. My poop data? Yeah. And pee. Oh, wow. Great. It's not just my poop data. But it analyzes your stream. Wow. So it can tell you how healthy your prostate is.
1:00:11Really? Interesting. So it's going to be filming me while I pee? It films down. Oh, okay. It films down into the bowl. Okay. It doesn't film up, I don't think. Okay. That would be a real business problem. Oh, my God. Potentially. Think about like the throne leaks. Yeah, yeah. It's a real troubling thing. Honestly, I would not care. If my throne leaked, I would be totally fine. Very brave of you, Kevin. I would not care one bit. Wow. That's so brave, Kevin. In fact, I should work with this brand, I think. You got ideas? No, I mean, they got the idea. I'm just all for it. Yeah, yeah. I think it's a good thing.
1:00:50Wow. Well, I mean, AI is here. It's coming. We didn't even talk about Zuck's new glasses. Did you see his new Ray-Ban meta glasses? No. They launched last week. They're interesting because it's kind of the Google Glass thing where you're getting like real-time stuff. But then you also have to wear this like hideous bracelet. And then you're like kind of like that's how you can like switch between apps and things. so that's kind of the mechanism of of of use like see because you see the stuff in your glasses yeah also the sides of the glasses are so thick like they're like you know sort of ray-banny kind of glasses but like because they have to put all the technology in the temples it's it's an insane amount of of tech it looks like at least for a pair of glasses so uh i think we still have some work to do uh but apparently they've been working on this for like 10 years or something so uh meta of glasses uh ray-ban also they launched something with oakley i was looking at those kind of look fire yeah and they did a partnership with strava so i i got intrigued there i was like oh man but i don't know that i need my glass my oakley running glasses to tell me how fast i'm going i could just look at my watch you know what i mean it's really not that hard for me to look down at my watch but i guess if i didn't have a watch then putting these things on my on my screen i I mean, I'll say that it's a cooler thing than strapping a GoPro to your head, which I'm not totally opposed to.
1:02:17So, yeah. I mean, we're living in interesting times. I'm going to monitor all this stuff. Me too. I think it's interesting because I've been on the record saying I'm into wearable tech because 10 years ago when all this stuff started popping up. Yeah, get a friend. Yeah. I'm like, you know what? I'm interested in glasses that take the information that's on my phone and put it right on my face. I'm interested in wearable technology. My Garmin watch is really interesting to me about my sleeping schedule. I'm not afraid of all this stuff. But I feel like we should be moving faster here. You know what I mean?
1:02:54I feel like we would have gotten further than we are here. But we are here now, it seems. We're here now. Strap in, Kevin. Yeah, we are here now. That's the show, everyone. That'll be the title episode. Strap in. AI wearables are finally here. and they're here just to wish you a good happy day and to monitor your poop. Yeah. So not exactly the future we were hoping for. That's the surveillance state I want to live in. But we'll see. All righty. It's going to get interesting from here. Sounds good. Peace.
1:03:38Bare naked, I was distraught He loves me not He loves me not Panties unlucky, I took him back And then stepped on a crack And the black hat laughed And baby, all it did have been a little superstitious Fingers crossed until you put your hand on mine It seems to be that you and me, we make our own love Our bad time is all good I ain't gotta knock on wood All I miss now is shit on a falling star Never did me any good I ain't got to knock on wood It's you and me forever dancing in the dark Over me, it's understood I ain't got to knock on wood Forgive me, it sounds cocky He hypnotized me and opened my eyes Redwood tree, it ain't hard to see His love was the key to open my skies Girls, I don't need to catch the bouquet To know a hard rock is on the way And baby, I'll admit it Been a little superstitious The curse on me was broken by your magic wand Seems to me that you and me, we make our own life New high, oh manhood I ain't gotta knock on wood All I've missed is wishing I'm a falling star Never did me any good I ain't got to knock on wood It's you and me forever dancing in the dark Over me, it's understood I ain't got to knock on one Forgive me, it sounds cocky He hypnotize me and open my eyes Redwood tree, it ain't hard to see His love was the key that opened my skies Forgive me, it sounds cocky He hypnotize me and open my eyes Redwood tree, it ain't hard to see His love was the key that opened my skies You
