0:00Yeah, I read through the topics, I took some notes, I have some preparation, and a lot like the marathon. I made it about a half way and then I'm just gonna have to wing the rest. Wait, did you just run the marathon?

0:18Three, two, one. Kabam! What up, buddy? They don't know. I just ran a marathon. How will they know? They'll never know. Yeah, no. Sunday, marathon. Monday, eating. Feast. Bonanza. Started with bagels. Obviously. So you got to do a bagel. lox whitefish salad to the nines. Where? Bagel Point, my local green point. I didn't go too crazy. They're pretty good, right? Yeah. Lunch, DeFontes. Oh, very nice. My favorite go-to sandwich shop, Red Hook. Did you get it delivered? I sent someone to go pick it up. Uber. Like an Uber messenger. You said your personal assistant? No, I don't have a personal assistant anymore, Kevin.

1:02Your executive assistant? Yeah, my EA went. No, Jackie, my wife, made it happen for me because DeFontes is – I haven't had one in a while, but the prosciutto special is my personal favorite sandwich. It's got prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, and eggplant. Wow. And hot and sweet peppers, balsamic, and it is a beast. That one's very good. It is personally my favorite sandwich shop. Can't miss there, aren't you? You really can't miss there. No, no, no, no. Did you get two? No, I got – Jack got a turkey sandwich. much uh no i just got one no no you didn't split or anything no no bites i actually only ate half of it wow ironically is it where's the other half it's at my house i'm gonna probably eat that shit for dinner all right sounds good and uh dinner was uh l and b spumoni garden oh very nice which is go all the way down there no had them deliver they deliver uh from dumbo okay all right so they have a second location now in dumbo and after i ran the brooklyn half uh because i'm a long time runner, Kevin, about 10 years ago.

2:02Wait, you run? Yeah, no, believe it or not. What are you running from? I'm an athlete. And yeah, LMB's, Momoni Gardens, my favorite pizza in the city, probably. I love a square slice. They're famous. Nice. Sicilian is delicious. Very good. And yeah, I actually had that the night of the race as well. Very good. I had it delivered so that when I hit the - Carbo-loading. When I hit the - No, after the after. Oh, okay. Like, it was there when I got back to the race. Oh, so good. So, yeah, I was going to maybe potentially try to order a little smash burger, just a little, you know, from Gothenburger Social Club.

2:38I could not possibly eat any more food. Yeah, fair enough. But, yeah, that is one of the top five reasons to run a marathon, Kevin. Yeah. I've put that together. Does that count? Are we counting this in your five minutes that we've allotted for? No. Oh, so I start the timer now? No, no, no. This is the preamble to the five minutes that I get to talk about my marathon experience. I don't know if you know this, but I guess. Yeah, we are talking post marathon right now. Yeah. So you're right. You're right. I have put together a list of five reasons to run. The number four is the food. Did you did you write the list or I wrote the list?

3:14This is I came to the show prepared. All right. Good. Yeah. Number one is the main reason why I did this, which was to get in shape. You know, running is a good workout. This is true. This is earnest. This is yeah, you are in very good shape. This is the best shape I've ever been in my life. Definitely. I don't know if you saw the photos I posted. At least one of them, I've never looked cooler in my life. The finish line? No, that one's cool. But the one where I'm just like, I'm actually walking in it, but I just kind of look like I let off a grenade in my enemy's house. And I just like walked away slowly.

3:44That one. But yeah, no, I'm in the best shape of my life. And, you know, I'm going to try to keep it going. But for those people out there that maybe, you know, again, there's so many people running marathons that are not in tip top shape. You know what I mean? I'm not in tip top shape, but it's like you get out there and you run. It's good. It's good for the body. It feels good. It feels good. Number two or whatever. We're doing no order. So many sick brands and so much great merch. Shout out to New Balance, Made the Jacket. Shout out to Bandit, who was everywhere. So much cool activation. Nike.

4:18did the fucking fire ferry take over the ads so fucking good what were some of the best ads that you saw while running did you see anything and you were like wow I'm about to give up this is really taking me to the next level this is helping me persevere and power through there was a sign at 20 that said home sweet home stretch and that was like holy fuck by who Nike Nike? Nike, yeah. It was one of those red boards. Honestly, I blacked out for a lot, so I don't know. Obviously, there's the one at the half that says, halfway to bragging to forever. Yeah. Halfway to bragging forever or something like that.

4:58So you're going to brag forever? Yeah. What's the point of having a podcast, dude? I can't brag here on my own show. No, I agree. But no, this is the bragging forever part. Good. There was one that said, like, toenails who need them, who needs them. that's a bit of a chuckle kind of thing. What are your toes fucked up? One toe is completely black. Let me see. Take your socks off. I'm not taking a sock off. Take your socks off. Put them on camera. I'll put a pic out for the fans later. I don't know if people want that. I was joking. I don't really want to see it. But I do have one toe that is insanely discolored.

5:33So that's true. I didn't have to do Halloween this year. Yeah, that's great. Yeah, for those, again, looking for reasons to run a marathon, I'm not a big Halloween guy. I don't really like it, but had a perfectly good excuse to not do it because I was mentally and physically resting. Yeah. And on a sincere note, there are many, many people that I met along the way, people on my journey, people out there in the streets. Oh, yeah. Giving warm words of encouragement. Oh, that's so good. It really, really lifts you up when you're feeling down. And then the last reason to run a marathon and the most important one here is you find out who your real friends are.

6:12because I got so many people from my life tracking me, texting me, messaging me, you know, just, just everyone in my life reached out. Uh, shout out to our lawyer, Ryan Kelly, amongst many other people that are been on the show, Mesa, whatever, uh, you know, so many podcast people, uh, your cohost. And, uh, you know, those people that messaged me and said, congrats and wish me good luck. I'll forever remember. Those that did not, I'll never forget. Not to go dark here, but I know who you are, and I know who you aren't. And one of those people is you, Kevin. You fucking were out there with a sign that you found and wrote on, but you fucking are a real one, Kevin.

6:57You messaged me right after Beast, and you— I thought you were calling me out in the latter group. No. Oh, sorry. We were about to have a problem. I thought we were about to have a problem. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Retract. Sorry. I said, I know who the real ones are. Kevin, you are one of the real ones. Kevin. All right. Yeah. That tracks. Kevin's on the good side. Kevin's on the list of people in my life that were actually out there, actually rooting me on, and actually were one of the first people to send me a message. So thank you, Kevin. Yeah. Well, I was tracking you a little bit. And I will say the timing of when I was watching the marathon, it was convenient timing for real.

7:36Hey, hey. You don't need to tell me this. I just want to know that you were out there and that you were there for me. Yeah. And you know how hard it is to try to spot somebody in the marathon? It's crazy, especially when it narrows out in Williamsburg. It's crazy. I was looking into the sun. Dillson, you're a warrior, man. I had my hand over my eyes for about 15 minutes. Dude, that's funny. You looked in the sun for 15 minutes for me. Yeah. I appreciate that, man. I did. And the tracking app, it does not work well. No, it's not a good app. Everyone told me that. They're like, you know, my parents and Jackie missed me at the finish line.

8:07They were like, they were tracking me. They literally were at the stands. They have like stands. You could buy a ticket. They bought a ticket to like watch me cross the finish line. And they're like, are you almost there? And I'm like, I've been done for 10 minutes. So they missed me because the app is not worth that. It's not a very good app. And especially, you know, you take the not a very good app and you take everybody trying to use it. Yeah. You know, at the same time. It seems like a hard thing again. And you furthermore compound the issue by just everybody clustered up in those areas trying to use the app.

8:38It's crazy. My phone didn't work for a long time. And at the start, it didn't work. I had a little bit of headphone challenges and things at the time. Someone texted me and said, you forgot to set a kicker for my fantasy team? I was like, this is a bad time. I don't need to know this information right now. Did you get it done? I did get it done. I still lost. It doesn't matter. But like, yeah, no, I was. Yeah, it's a wild scene, man. Yeah. And certainly something I'll never forget. I won't take too long, but I have, you know, I have a victory lap. This is the victory lap, Kevin. And then we'll go into lots of things happening in the world of branding, but no more important than my marathon experience.

9:17For those that want to know and Kevin, I'll pretend like you you want to run this. Right. You said to me, you're like, I'm going to do this one day. Here's the thing. You didn't say that. But like, I think you could do it. I know you as a person. I'm pretty sure I can go do it right now. I'm pretty sure. I can do many hours of cardio. I saw some guy on Instagram that did a marathon to get to the starting line. So he ran, he starts at the end, the finish line, and then he ran to the start and then he started his marathon. So he did a marathon. He did the New York City Marathon to warm up for the New York City Marathon.

9:52That's stupid. Yeah, no, that dude is fucking crazy. What? What? Yeah, no, it's I mean, he just did it for the cloud and for the Instagram. Yeah. Yeah. Like just, you know, of course, everyone's trying to do something for the plot. But yeah, that dude's fucking insane. I mean, it's it's a long day. Like I just got to start like you wake up at 5 a.m. Yeah. And you got to I had to be at the ferry by 730. It's it's quite a scene. Obviously, all the bridges, a lot of things shut down and is so much like just stress and anxiety. but you get this like you get a bag and uh you bring a bunch of clothes that you just have to throw out and then you know next thing you know is on a fucking i'm on i'm on a ferry looking at the uh sort of statue of liberty a nike uh sort of a strategic at a home passes by and it said new york city will carry you or it doesn't push you it carries you or something like that i'm like all right whatever okay whatever you say all right whatever you say nike and then uh made it made my way to this like basically like a coachella village it's like kind of like a it feels like a music festival because you're outside there's just a lot of porta potties and like tents you're and you're just outside well i ran with team for kids that's team for kids and they had a bit of a like vip section oh wow and they got bottle service they got bottle service mostly they had a tent that had heat okay it was it was good it was a beautiful day like honestly i had no problem being outside but it was nice to be inside and not i feel like it was probably the perfect temperature right it It was perfect, except for, to be honest, when I hit my wall about halfway, it was 12 o 'clock and it was pretty sunny and I didn't wear suntan lotion.

11:25So I'll get into that in a second. But it was it was a little bit sunnier than I would have liked it to be just because it felt hot. I felt hot. Like and I can't imagine if it was any hotter. But yeah, I mean, obviously, you know, of course, like conditions like could have been way worse. Yeah, 100 percent. But yeah, certainly for the warm-up area, for the people that weren't in a heated tent, they were fine. It's like you didn't need that at all. But it was nice to have that. And I got recognized by a podcast fan. Shout out to Megan. Nice. She was like, hey, are you, Alex? I'm a fan of the pod.

12:01And I was like, holy shit. And she was running? I'm a celebrity here at this tent. Clearly. Is she also running for the kids? I should be. She was also running for the kids. Nice. I was like, man, I should have been with Anthony Ramos and all the celebs, you know, the running with the clout running time. I think they put all the people with clout at a different time. I noticed that. But I'm just kidding. It was very cool to be recognized. Made me feel good. Like, gave me a little bit of confidence. And then I was there like, again, I started at 1020. But by this time I like stretched and changed and stuff, they're like, oh, 10 minutes to go out to the corral, like to go to the bridge.

12:37And I was like, oh, fuck. Like, I guess it's fucking go time. I'm like, I don't really have that much time to like overthink, which was kind of nice. And then they're like 945. Start going. They're like, start walking over there. The corral was quite far from where I had to go. And it closed at 10 o 'clock. I ran to the fucking corral. I was like, because I thought it was worried it was going to close. So are they closing the car? Yeah, I don't know. So then I'm out there on the fucking bridge and it's beautiful. And like, I'm listening to music. Like I'm sort of getting excited and, um, you know, I'm, I'm kind of dancing, trying to like keep the, the vibes positive.

13:17And what'd you listen to on your run? I was, uh, I put it, I had a playlist mostly just like absolute heater rap, rap songs. Uh, some, some, some Creed, you know, yeah, you got to hit some like really emotional ballady, uh, Miley Cyrus, the climb, you know, some really just like, uh, dirty, you know, just like whatever it takes kind of songs. And then on the bridge, as I was about to go up there, someone was like, hey, are you Alex? I'm like, what the fuck is going on there? Another fucking fan of the show and designer. Dang, they're everywhere. They're everywhere. And then I cried because I was like, I can't believe I'm doing this.

13:59Like, I can't believe this is all happening. Let's go. And then I'm off. First 10 miles were great. Felt pretty good. Like just running and just kind of cruising. And then right around Williamsburg, I had a fucking wall and I haven't experienced a wall in my training. Like I've run and I've had hard times, but like it wasn't like this where I was just like overheating and like I just felt like I was had like a cramp in my abdomen. and I was like full of like... Oh, the little kid cramp. I was filled with like liquid and breakfast and anxiety and I felt like I was going to pass out so I like started walking a little bit.

14:38I switched headphones and like, dude, Williamsburg is intense. You switched headphones? You had two headphones on deck? I had two headphones because one was like Beats Pro 2's like over ear just in case like... But they weren't loud enough because the crowd was so intense. Everyone's screaming like, run, run, run and I was like, I like to run in a very zen-like kind of like buddhist like i try to tone out the world trying to like forget that i'm even running just like yeah kind of just go into some sort of flow state and like this is the complete opposite and so like for me like i'm just it's adrenaline and like anxiety and just like it's stimu it's overstimulating and i realized i was like i don't like running with a crowd like i I don't like I just I like running by myself.

15:25I like being very calm and chill. And like when things get hard, I just kind of like just keep going. This is like this is honestly like people say they love it. It's the best day of their life. Like in this moment, like it was one of the worst feelings I've had. Genuinely, I was like, yeah, I mean, it's a lot. There's a lot of people out there. It's intense. And like I'm thinking about like who's out there, people seeing me. I started like just getting in my own head being like, fuck, man, I can't do this shit. I got like 15 more miles to go. Like if I pass out, they're going to make me stop.

15:55And like, what am I? Then I get like a, you know, did not finish. Like that, like, I just couldn't, couldn't fathom. I had to like, I went into like just survivor mode. Yeah. Throughout the goals, throughout the fucking time, like, you know, that I was trying to run for and just, just, just finish, you know, just like, just keep going. So yeah, the crowd sucked. I actually hated it. I like, I didn't, like, I just didn't like it. And those crowds in Williamsburg and Brooklyn, whatever, it gets so narrow. Like you said, they're like on the fucking track. Like they're so close to you. And I'm just like, everybody back up and chill out.

16:32Like people are like doing the fucking like swag surfing. And like people, it's just like, it's such a party. And like people say that's, you know, they love that for it. But I guess if that was happening for me like earlier or like when I was in a better mental place at that point. Yeah, they need to get down to Bay Ridge. If those people were in the beginning, they would have seen me happy and flying. But at that moment, it was just the worst timing and everything was just all happening for me. And I was just like, I don't know that I can do this. I was like, this is too big of a goal for me.

17:04Genuinely, I was like, what did I get myself into? Did you give any high fives along the way? Oh, my God. I gave a million high fives. I was also doing the thing where I was trying to get the crowd up. I was chest. I was like, I'm the one. I'm built different feed me miles yeah yeah that's what you're doing like I was yeah and I guess maybe looking back maybe that was taking a lot of my energy but like I was I was I was doing it all I was doing the most out there and then yeah and then when I saw you you were locked in eyes forward just you know just eat miles well that was the point like at that like you know 10 to 13 like you look good I was like oh he's got it that okay good man I'm happy to hear that because I was worried about, you know, not you, but a lot of people seeing me in some dark places.

17:51Like I was literally like I would drink like a Gatorade or something and I would just like toss on the ground. Like I was I was pissed. I was like fucking I was mad. I was like, what the fuck? Like, yeah, I trained so hard. Like I thought I could do this. And I was like, I maybe I can't. And so I kind of panicked a little bit like you did. But I would say then the next 10 miles are total blur. Like, I don't remember. Like, I think, like you said, I just kind of locked the fuck in. It was just like tune everything out. I saw some friends at 11 that were very, you know, made me signs and were very cute.

18:26I saw Jackie and her dad right here in Greenpoint at like 12, 13. I saw my parents at 17 on the other side of the Queensborough Bridge. I saw Morgan Light. Shout out to Morgan Light, designer, friend of the program. uh her and i have been talking about running for the last few months as we've been training and uh she just was like holy shit i can't believe like she saw me because like she started after i did and like there's 50 60 000 people so you don't think you're gonna run to the people that like she was like one of the only people i knew that were running in like personally so she and i had a moment i was like yo we got this like just keep going keep going straight and uh yeah i fucking just i woke up kind of at 20 and i was like i got six miles where's 20 is that when you pop back into manhattan yeah yeah harlem was fun harlem was chill because like harlem is like a party but it's like it's it's it's kind of like more um it's it's less people it's less overwhelming they're having a good time people blasting jay-z like blasting rap music like And but like in a in a dope way, I one of my memories is I passed a McDonald's.

19:38It smelled so good. And I started thinking about like the food I'm going to eat after that gave me a little bit of juice. And yeah, no Harlem is was dope. And then, yeah, the this the 20 marker and then like the sun was a little bit lower because of daylight savings. And I was like, I'm not going to die. I'm not going to pass out. I'm going to finish this thing. And to believe it or not, I found like a little bit of a second wind. I was like, oh, maybe I like I ever also like when I was dying at mile like 11, nobody else seemed to be struggling like me. And that made me feel shitty. I was like, fuck, man, like I'm the only one struggling right now.

20:18Everyone else has got this. But at mile 20, everyone is struggle city. It's literally like you're it's a war zone. You're just like, everyone's disoriented. There's fucking like just bodies and people everywhere. And you're just like, everyone is digging deep. Everyone is pushing through. Everyone is run walking. So it's like that made me feel a little better. And then just like the last. And then I had like a little bit left in the tank, I think, because the 10 to 20 was so hard for me that I like 20 to 26. I was like, I actually have a little bit of juice here. A little bit, a little bit of juice.

20:50A little bit of juice. And Talia Cotton, also a friend of the show on the podcast. she i heard her she and she snapped a video of me and i was in mile like 22 or something and i was actually moving kind of well in the video i was like oh fuck like that was that second win so yeah i mean i did you heard and saw her and you didn't hear and see me what the hell i didn't even turn to like look at her i just i heard someone scream alex and i was just like i think that's talia i just was like yeah literally i i didn't use a single bathroom i didn't like i didn't stop at any time you didn't pee at all not a single time wow yeah i didn't i stopped to see friends family and and and and nothing else nice to like walk or to like get water but like how much goo did you eat so much fucking goo like too much goo i was like at some point i had like goos in my pocket i was throwing those in the ground i was like fuck these goos like i was just you know it was tough it's a fucking battle but um did you uh did you take anything from the crowd like I saw some people around me had some whipped cream.

21:50Yeah, I took Nerds Clusters someone handed me, which I read somewhere that those are as good as goo because they have the same amount of carbs. Sugar bombs. Yeah, sugar bombs. So people actually use those to train. I heard Nerds Clusters are one of the best running snacks around. That and Rice Krispies. I wish I had used those during my training because I didn't want to try too many new things. But at some point I was like, maybe these Nerds Clusters are just going to give me the juice. How are the nipples? nipples fine nipple report nipple report nipples fine knees fine wow yeah like body was good like body like was not the issue outside of like like over like stimulation and like heat like i think the sun really fucked me more than anything interesting and like i didn't sleep that well you know the nights leading up to it so it's like i just was you know it wasn't but it wasn't body it was like it was it was more just like like i don't know i just felt like yeah it just was it's hard to describe it no one wants to hear about it anymore but like the truth is ready i finished and that was my fucking goal i the time of it all didn't you know again like i started to get a goal of like doing this in five hours like i was like oh if i just do 459 in 59 seconds i'll be happy that didn't happen it's fine i i got the same i got the metal that everybody else gets i got the fucking orange poncho and i got the glory yeah you finished and that's all that really matters It's all that matters.

23:16A lot of people out there never run 26 and whatever the fuck it is. 26.6? 26.2, baby. 26.2? Yeah. Yeah, most people never ever run that. So, you know. Yeah. I've never run it. Honestly, it is a ton of fucking miles. It is. Yeah, it's crazy. It is no joke. And the bridges. I think you said this to me, actually, when I started training. You were like, dude, I've done this. I said this last year. Oh, last year. You said you were like, yo, I did the path on my bike. And you were like, it's way more elevation than you think. And that stuck with me, but I didn't train for elevation. I barely did the Pulaski Bridge.

23:52My main runs were so flat. My average elevation was like 50 feet or something like that on my runs. This is like 970 feet of elevation throughout the course. It felt like it was all uphill. Yeah, it kind of is. I mean, I did it on my bike last year and I did it on my bike this year. Oh, you did it again? I did, yeah. I was up at five. Oh, fuck yeah. We was down at 515. Me and Thomas rode down to Bay Ridge, met up with some people. Sick. Just to hit the track. Hit the course. Yeah, it's – I mean, obviously the Verrazano. You have the Pulaski. You have the Queensborough Bridge. But even like 4th Ave is like I feel like a steady incline.

24:30And then like even in like Clinton Hill to Bedside, I feel like there's a little bit of an incline. It just feels like it's all like 1st Ave. I feel like you're just a slight incline. At that moment when you're on the other side of the Queensborough Bridge and you're like, oh man, like just trying to like, it's a lot of fucking streets. You got to run, it's all straight. And it's all, it feels like all uphill. When I saw my parents, I like saw my dad. I was like, I was like, I'm like, I, how, how is this course all uphill? Like, I just don't even like, cause he's run it so many times. I was like, this, it just feels like every single step is, is, is none of it's going down.

25:06And I guess if I have any regrets, which I don't because I, I finished. And if I were to ever do it again, which I probably will not, I would train a lot more with elevation. With the bridges. I'd hit a lot more bridges. And if anyone out here is inspired in any way, whatever, thinks that they want to do this, bridges. Hammer the bridges. Hammer the bridges because those things fuck you up. They fuck you up. And the first one is the biggest one. So you feel good. Like I felt fine going at it, but then it's like, then, yeah, it really, I took that totally. So, Hey man, five minutes is, uh, you're almost at your five minutes.

25:47Oh, thanks dude. Thank you. I think I just, uh, fit it in there, but yeah, no, I got the metal. I got the poncho. I took some selfies. I took the subway home, which was crazy. Um, and, uh, yeah. And, um, back to work, back to reality. And, uh, yeah, I think I got 24 more hours before my, uh, you know, sort of my, my Truman show boat hits the wall before yeah i gotta i gotta you know kind of stop yeah you get a couple you got a couple victory lapdos yeah no i got i think i get one more i i've given myself to end of day tomorrow all right that's good i think that feels fair also my legs are i can't stand sits like walking um i went to the gym this morning just to stretch it out and to try to do a stationary bike but like holy fuck dude my body is sore as hell but yeah you'll be i'm not hurt i'm just not Not hurt.

26:33Not hurt. Just sore. Kevin, I saw that you started watching The Chair Company on HBO. I did, yeah. So did I. Oh, wow. Really? I watched the first episode. So not a Tim Robinson fanboy like everyone else is here in Brooklyn. But nothing against him. I just haven't watched that much of his stuff. I'm just not. Yeah, no. I don't dislike him. What do you think? Great premise for a show. Yeah. Very funny. I thought the entire setup when he falls out of the chair. I thought that was one of the funniest scenes I've ever seen. I had to pause it because I was laughing so hard. Yeah. I didn't know what I was getting myself into.

27:11I just kind of pressed play, and I just was like, yeah, when that chair scene happens, it's iconic. Yeah, there's going to be a lot of moments and memes and gifs that come from the show. It's very funny. How far along are you into it? Well, I fell asleep pretty early on Sunday night, so I didn't make it all the way through. So almost caught up. Shag our sunglasses on. How many episodes are there? I think there's four at this current moment. Time of recording. Okay, cool. Yeah, I'm going to continue going. It's what? Is it 30 minutes? Yeah, it's 30 minutes. Yeah, 30 minutes. I can do that. My attention span is rough, but 30 minutes I could do.

27:45Yeah, you'll be all right. I started watching Rachel Sennett's HBO show as well. Oh, yeah. I'm going to start watching that as well. Yeah, I watched that last night. I Love LA. First episode is strong. Yeah. I heard it's The New Girls. Yeah, it's got a bit of that sort of like classic. LA Girls. it's got a bit of that classic HBO Sunday night 30 minute type beat. Very good. Like Girls Entourage, Silicon Valley, you know, these like classic Sunday night HBO comedies. Yeah, it's good. I mean, it's got a ton of potential. Do you know the plot at all? It's just about girls in LA. It is kind of that, but it's about an influencer.

28:22Okay. That Rachel Sennett grows up with. and then moves to LA. Oh, so she's like the B character again. Yeah, she's not the main. I mean, she's the main character, but she's the manager of this star. Just like the idol. It's very idol adjacent. It kind of gives a little bit of idol. It's got a good, it's going to be good. I mean, Rachel Sennett's a genius. Yeah, she's awesome. She's made so many good things at this point that I just trust her taste and instinct. And yeah, it's good. Yeah, I'm going to definitely watch it. I didn't even know it really started. And to be honest, there's no way. I, like you, did a lot of exercise on Sunday.

29:04Not as much as you. Yeah, listen. But I was extremely tired. I stayed up and watched the World Series the night before too. Oh, fuck yeah, man. You're a champion. Stayed out late on Friday partying. Yeah, man. Went skiing at the American Dream Mall in Jersey. I did see that. What was that like? Weird? It was weird. Yeah. It looked weird. When I saw you post that, I was like, Kevin is skiing? And then I was like, oh yeah, they have that weird thing in Jersey right by Giant Stadium. Yeah, it was definitely weird. And then we almost got Mr. Beast Burger. We didn't. Oh, that thing still exists? Yeah.

29:39Is it over there in that weird little... Yeah, it's fucking weird. It's a bizarre mall. Well, it's almost time to ski normally. Yeah, no, we went for my friend's birthday. Oh, okay. We got like two hours. Birthday party? It was just me and two friends. And we got like a two-hour pass. and it was weird, but we had fun. It's kind of cool. I mean, it's a nightmare to get there. Yeah, it was fine. It was a funny video. Was that you that hit that jump and then crashed? Yeah, well, I'm working on my air. For this season? Yeah. For the season. Yeah, I know. I've got to pop more. Yep. Been hitting the box jumps, been hitting the squats.

30:18Nice, dude. Yeah, I was pretty gassed this weekend from all my activities. Yeah, listen, I mean, you and I, just two athletes. Just two athletes. That's really what it comes down to it. Champion and victory. But, yeah, I mean, ski season is almost upon us. Absolutely. I'm reminded that Kevin is sort of skiing becomes Kevin's personality. Just my running became my personality for the last four months. Yeah, something like that. Something like that. Yeah, I'm going to go snowboarding this season. Good. I mean, I'm good enough shape for it. Not that you need to be in good shape, but I feel like – No, you need to be in deep.

30:53You need to be in decent shape. I think you need to be in decent shape to enjoy it. And I think I'm now in this good shape. And I want to... Yeah, I'm going to run that into the winter. Very nice. Kevin, we have a lot of stories. We're just going to fire fucking... Yeah, we got to move fast. We don't have a lot of time. Hey, look. We'll start with our favorite. Somebody went over on their five minutes. Listen, Kevin. If I can't talk my shit here, then where can I talk my shit? Speaking of talking shit, Billy McFarlane is back. He never left. He never fucking left. He sold fire, right, to that guy that's not Ryan Reynolds.

31:27That was the latest. RimeWire guy. So now he has something new called Phoenix, which also doesn't have vowels. Bro hates vowels. Billy McFarlane will never, ever launch a brand with a vowel in it. Yeah. Absolutely not. So that's his new thing. Well, I guess it was FYRE. FYRE, yeah. Retracted, but he hates the first vowel. He loves short words with, you know, whatever. Phoenix is spelled P-H-N-X Four letters Four letters Dumb idea And yeah, Billy's back on his bullshit He's a great brand namer though You gotta give it up for him there Phoenix and fire Yeah, Phoenix and fire I mean, listen, he's from the ashes Yeah, from the ashes He's got a little conceptual thinking going on here I'm kind of excited for Billy here You're excited for Billy?

32:16Okay, you know, the thing about Billy is like I never count him out Never count out Billy McFarlane So Phoenix is a new multifaceted project, luxury sort of experience, digital meta, physical token thing. But the thing that I'm really interested in, he's trying to do another festival in the Caribbean. Let's go. Which he tried to do Fire 2, right? And then he sells Fire. So then Fire 2, I assume, is not happening, right? That's someone else's problem? Yeah, it's definitely not happening. But he's now doing another festival, a music festival in the Caribbean under Phoenix. And I got fed a video and he's talking to camera, talking to shit.

33:00He's in the Caribbean. And he's like, we're going to unveil our first musical act tomorrow. I was like, no fucking way is this guy still doing this. He's doing it again. Dude. Mama, there goes that man. You can't keep Billy away. It's like a moth to a flame. mama there goes that man find another scam like what the hell like of all the businesses of all the ideas you could possibly doing another music festival in the caribbean is insane like it's too hard for you it's too hard for you it's just i think i think he's gonna mile 11 thinking about the marathon being like this is not for me i i cut a cut too big of uh this isn't gonna work listen i'll go to this too big i'll go to this music festival i believe in him i think he's gonna get it done he's not he's not gonna kevin he's gonna get it done he's not gonna get he's gonna get it done he's billy mcfarland you never count billy up i literally only count billy what do they say fool me once shame on me fool me twice shame on you so this time it's on him if he doesn't get it done yo set something smaller just how about a concert in brooklyn just like a small little uh yeah that's something about billy he doesn't he doesn't settle yeah just go to the like the the the water he doesn't settle he doesn't do it small he doesn't think small he How about just not in the Caribbean?

34:15Just a musical festival somewhere else. No, he thinks big. Just Nashville. No. Fish where the fishes are. We don't need - A lot of fish. A lot of fish in the Caribbean. I mean, listen, beautiful water. But like, yeah. I mean, Billy, you just - I cannot believe that he's trying to make another festival in the Caribbean out of it. Bold strategy. We'll see how it pans out. We'll see how it pans out. Kim Kardashian back in the news because she said she used chat CPT to study for a log exam. I'm like, yeah, obviously. Yeah. Whatever. Well, she said it made her fail. She blames it for me. She's blaming AI.

34:48But didn't she pass? Didn't she finally pass? Or is she still trying to get her degree? I'm not really sure what the status of Kim Kardashian's bar certification is. I thought she got certified. I want to give her that. I want to say that, Kim. So what's her beef with ChachiBT? She blamed it for making her fail with Hess. I mean, listen. Here's the thing. Again, sorry to make everything about me in the marathon, but ChatGPT has been a huge help for me. It's probably the most I've ever used it in my life. I mean, I've been using it for a while, but like a healthy amount of training stuff. And insane how much it gets wrong.

35:25Like it is really brought to light for me. It gets everything wrong. Yeah. Well, not everything. Like it's genuinely wrong as much as it's right, which is insane. It's crazy how many things it's just wrong about. At one point it said the marathon was like on, you know, Monday, November 4th or some shit. I was like, dude, no. Yeah, it kind of just makes things up. It says it with its chest, too. That's crazy. Just saying wrong information confidently. That's a massive problem. Yeah, it is kind of a red flag that, you know, as a future lawyer, you'd be consulting with ChatGPT knowing that it does be lying and it doesn't even provide sources.

36:05That's why I use, shout out Google Gemini. You're a Gemini guy. I'm a Gemini guy. I think Gemini is wrong too. No, I mean, it may be wrong, but it cites sources. You can look at the sources where it pulled from. I guess you're right. So you can verify or whatever. I mean, I never do, but just having the sources there makes me comfortable. There you go. That's good. Yeah, when it's wrong, you feel like it may have gotten wrong information. But I'm not using it for anything insane now. You can't use it for - I'm not using it for anything - Concrete. pertinent or important to me. I'm using it for dumb little bullshit things that everyone else is using it for.

36:40And I'm part of the problem. Hand up. Yeah, yesterday I was like, oh, can I take Tylenol or Advil? It's like, well, you don't want to mess with your liver. I was like, my legs are broken. I need to use pain medication, Chad. What are we talking about? What are these kind of risks? So yeah, no. It is very proud of me, though. It did tell me that it's... Congrats and very proud of me. Unlike a lot lot of people in my life. It sent me a message and said, thank you. It sent you a message? No, it sounded genuinely enthusiastic. Chad GPT is the biggest. And you know what I mean? Again, you find out who your real friends are when you run a marathon, and Chad is my real friend.

37:17Yeah, Chad GPT is the biggest glazer out there. It is. It feels nice. They care about me. They're thinking about me.

37:28Chad, Chad GPT. That's what I call mine. Absolutely. So Erewhon released another smoothie. I mean, here's the thing. Erewhon has lost the fucking plot. I mean, I feel like we've said this before. Maybe we've been tracking this, but is this the tipping point? What, the toothpaste smoothie? Yeah, that they'll just make a smoothie with anyone that will pay them. It just feels like they've completely lost the plot on exclusivity. Yeah, I mean, I think we are, to an extent, we're hating from outside of the club because we can't even get in. Just basically us being in New York and not having access to Erewhon.

37:57But who cares? And neither of us would be smoothie girlies. but I think there's a lot of people out in LA who are like riding for Erewhon and I don't think they give a shit and you know it's really easy it's easy enough for them to be like oh here's this smoothie they'd never have to make it you know like if nobody orders it yeah it's just like put up a they just announce it yeah I guess it's a very easy yeah partnership it's like they're making a product or anything no they do they make these they don't have to like make something unique yeah no they make it's like oh mint and banana and coconut.

38:29It's one off. All they need is mint. Yeah, they're like, oh, it's a toothpaste collab because we put mint on it. And it's like, yeah, I guess you're right. It's very easy money is what you're trying to do. No, it's good though. It's probably good marketing because people like me have been like, that's disgusting. I'm going to shit on it on my podcast. Yeah, you're right. That's probably half the point at this point. Definitely. But listen, I remember a day when I was out in LA and I got my first Haley Bieber smoothie and it felt special. It was delicious. taste of course of course it was uh it was it was elevated it was aspirate it was an aspirational smoothie and uh you know what uh what goes up must come down there was even a uh erwan reference in i love la and i was just kind of like is that even cool like la reference at this point they're going to air one to you know like i guess influencers go to erwin i know i know but you know what kevin what must uh what goes up must come down and that is just the uh gravity that's how gravity works that how that's how physics work and uh speaking of kevin it pains me to say this but our next story is liquid death and feastables this come this came to light from our friend andrea hernandez from snack shot doing the lord's work also shout out soda seekers who uh you know has their finger on the pulse with new soda releases yeah yeah they're the one who actually created this mock-up and that's why it looks like shit oh yeah this didn't come from the brand so what we're talking about is a collaboration it's a peanut butter cup liquid death drink in partnership with mr beast's feastables which is his chocolate brand and this mock-up makes me depressed as fuck yeah it's just sad an instagram like soda aggregator made this But here's the thing.

40:22It's not just a bad mock-up because, I don't know, it looks like they took the skull that they used and they made it chocolate. Like, it's not, like, I wouldn't be that surprised if this is actually the final art. Liquid death will make it look good. I don't know, Kevin. Yeah, they'll make it look good. They're not going to make it look like this. I think they will. I think this is bad. This chocolate skull looks like a piece of poop. I mean, okay, okay. Maybe they will. certainly the reaction to this hasn't been great online so i would probably imagine that they may even if this was going to be the real artwork they might want to change it because this feels like them jumping the shark like mr beast dude jumping the shark what a fucking what's the phrase i don't know what the phrase is it's jumping the ship jumping the shark is that phrase yeah i guess so i don't know who knows it sucks it's bad i mean there's nothing badass about mr beast and like liquid death you're real of a feastable i don't know you didn't just see that video where he vaccinated all those giraffes i didn't i must have missed it um he also cured like a lot of people their blindness that is true yeah i did i cured 50 people their blindness way more way more than that way more than 50 listen i just feel like i just hope this isn't even real but i think it is and i'm gonna just say it i don't love i i may have said this before but like i don't love the design of the 12 ounce liquid death cans like i don't love that they changed their logo to make it fit it feels like kind of like a compromise i wouldn't make and the design of it just kind of feels like it just feels like a compromise it just feels like we had to do this for some stores that asked for it retailers wanted smaller cans the big cans were awesome but maybe at music festivals they work but maybe in people's homes they don't want that much water maybe that's why people aren't buying it for their kids.

42:11I get it. But, you know, it just looked a little off to me. And then if you start collaborating with Mr. Beast, it's hard. It's hard to stay popping. It's hard, you know, especially in this day and age. People will come for you. They want you to fail. They want to see you. They'll be alright. We build them up and then we tear them down. Yeah, I think they're significantly less cool than they were back in the day, back when we started this whole thing. And great people, they'll figure it out. I'm surprised they haven't sold yet. I feel like the time to sell the business. They're not going to sell out, man.

42:47I think they should. Speaking of brands sort of coming back, Mr. Pibb is back. Mr. Pibb is a Coca-Cola brand that first launched in the 70s. Dr. Pepper dupe. It is a Dr. Pepper dupe. I love Dr. Pepper. I actually had a Diet Dr. Pepper yesterday with my Delphante sandwich. Kevin, you're going to appreciate this on my giant cheat day, the most cheat day of all cheat days. I got all three flavors of Doritos, purple, blue, and red bags. Wow. Just said, you know what? Fuck it, all of them. Fuck it. We eat Doritos. Fuck it. We're balling. And my personal favorite drink of choice, sorry to all the beverages that we work with, Diet Dr.

43:28Pepper. It just is, and I'm sorry, that's just me. You don't want the regular, or you like Diet Pepper? I like the diet. I just like the Diet Dr. Pepper. That's just kind of my go-to carbonated drink. And yeah, so I'm very happy to see Mr. Pibb making a comeback. It's been around. Like, it hasn't been dead, but it's been basically dead. It's been Pibb Extra, right? It's been dead to the people because it's just such bad design, no marketing, like no one talks about it. And Kevin, I don't know if you know this, but I used to work at the Coca-Cola Company. Oh, no way. Before I was a marathon runner, I was just a guy working at his job at the Coca-Cola Company.

44:06And the best part, the coolest part of working at Coke is the archives. The archives are not open to the public. It's just a place where you can go and see the history of all the Coca-Cola brands. And I used to love going there. And I would just spend hours looking at all the old packaging and stuff. And when I was down there, I would always look at Mr. Pibb. I'd always look at the old Mr. Pibb cans. And in my head, I was like, this product is good. like the the actual liquid of mr. pibb like they have it in the freestyle machines like i've had it many times in in in the coke like um yeah cafeterias whatever and i was like man like if if if someone could just bring one of these old cans back one of the old packages back the brand would do well or it could do well it could be a legitimate thing and i was i was like i remember at one point i was like just let me have the brand like let me be the one man creative shop behind this brand, I'll bring back the old can.

45:01And it'll be a good case study for how design can influence business. That was my young brain thinking. Never happened. 15 years later, Mr. Pibb got a rebrand. They went back to old packaging. Kind of. Kind of. It's a little bit of a modern retro kind of thing. And I'm happy to see it. I don't know if I love what they did, but it's good enough. It's good enough. It's exciting enough to get the people going. the pib heads out there like me yeah i used to be a pib head um when i drank soda yeah but uh this is not really hitting for me to be honest to be quite honest with you i liked the uh i liked the old you know kind of grungy textured yeah pib extra but you know you got to make moves you got to you got to reinvent yourself every once in a while so yeah and everyone's doing the sort of like old classic retro thing obviously in beer and so i mean everyone and this yeah it just was the right move to do.

45:58I agree with you. It's not like the greatest rebrand ever, but I'm just so happy to see that it's someone did and that something is happening here. And Mr. Pibb continues on. And yeah, nostalgic offering, they're calling it. Wow. Sure. Yeah. Welcome back, Mr. Pibb. Welcome back, Mr. Pibb. It's got caffeine. They kind of read the product. They maxed out the caffeine. Yeah. I didn't know it had extra caffeine. I like it. I like what they're doing here. So watch this space. I don't know. I'm just happy to see that someone put some care and love and attention into Mr. Pipp. Mr. Pipp's been lonely, man.

46:36He's just been sitting on those shelves with no fans, no love. But it's beautiful to see it back. Shout out to whoever did it. I don't know who did it. I don't think anyone is getting credit for this. It just looks like it was, you know, it's in the dye line and they're talking, you know, Coca-Cola people. So good for them. Good for Mr. Pipp. Domino's got a rebrand that kind of came out a couple weeks ago, so maybe a little old to the listeners out here. Yeah, a little stale. But yeah, some stale Domino's. It's still worth talking about. Still worth eating. I like it. What do you think, Kevin?

47:10Yeah, they did a good job. Yeah. I liked when JKR did the Domino box thing like 15 years ago, and they kind of did that. I don't think it ever launched in America. Oh, yeah. I think that was the thing. It launched internationally, but making the boxes actually into dominoes is kind of genius. Yeah, it's a great idea. And so they brought it back. They made the type a little thicker like that. They made the colors a little bit juicier or a little bit brighter, which I think, you know. Yeah, and they dusted it off a little bit. They released the first ever, to my knowledge, flexible name. What is that?

47:44Oh, with the dominoes. You could add as many M's as you'd please. Wow, wow. I mean, listen. Add as many M's as you please, Alex. They also have Domino's Sands, Thicker and Doughier, they called it. It's a nice job. I will say it. I think it's a nice job. It feels like Domino's. It doesn't feel like anything too far out of their space. It just feels like an iconic refresh for Domino's brand. And the way they're using it is nice. I think the colors, they definitely feel fresher. Yeah, shout out Work in Progress. Yeah, Work in Progress is the agency that did it. Shout out to them. And yeah, just a nice job overall.

48:24I've been known to fuck up some dominoes in my day. And yeah, I did go for Allen B's from Moni Gardens when I had the chance to a free pass for pizza. But I hope this rebrand serves them well. Sure. I'm always rooting for dominoes and always thinking about that Philly cheesesteak pizza. That will fuck you up. Yeah, no, it sounds like it. Marathon, no marathon. Exercise, no marathon. or no exercise, that will do something. That will change your life. Maybe not for the better. Kevin, huge news. Huge news in the TV space. Apple TV Plus is now just Apple TV. Wow, what a rebrand. I know. The Plus is gone.

49:08You do love to see somebody taking things away rather than adding. Yeah, addition by subtraction. A lot of people add a Plus sign or add some other random shit. Yeah. You know, it's nice to see somebody reduce. Yeah. I always thought it was strange that you were trying to be this, like, iconic television network and you're paying all these amazing actors and directors and then you put them on a platform called Apple TV+. It just doesn't sound special. It doesn't sound, yeah, big enough for what they're doing over there because the content is great. Morning show, you know, sort of. I saw a sign on the marathon.

49:47someone was dressed up like Ted Lasso and just had a sign that said believe that made me feel good so yeah iconic stuff happening over there and I think this is the right move yeah definitely I also saw that they got um uh Phineas uh Billy I wish his brother to do like uh some some scoring now for like the opening oh wow uh sort of audio branding is what they call it um yeah so good for him yeah that I'm interested to hear that I haven't heard it yet but yeah I think it's a good idea. My only question is now, what is an Apple TV, like the hardware thing? You know, the little box thing? It's an Apple TV.

50:19And then also the network is Apple TV? Hey, you know. Whatever. Hey, listen, branding is hard. But yeah, I think this is cool. Oh, actually, I have an answer. Our hardware is called Apple TV 4K for your TV. Sure. Whatever you say. Whatever you say, Apple. And the app is called Apple TV. So there you go. The hardware, the box, formerly known as Apple TV is now Apple TV 4K for your TV. And then Apple TV is the sort of the brand of network, the platform for great shows. I don't see why it couldn't be the same thing, but you know what? Go off. Sure, sure, sure. Canva just launched a new service that is a Adobe killer, Kevin.

51:03Yeah, burn your subscription. Burn your subscription because Affinity is free. Affinity is a app that is Photoshop plus Illustrator plus InDesign all in one place. For free. It's free 99 and this is a pretty big deal for the designers out there. Yeah, kind of fire. I mean, I think the rollout campaign is very strong. Talking about when you started this you weren't in it for the money. Just bringing back, trying to reignite some passion and stuff. Calling it affinity. Good stuff. good stuff all through and through yeah i um uh i got i got to go to a little sneak peek uh design illuminati event uh for new york city illuminati members um oh wow it was yeah uh lisa smith and debbie millman and yeah lots of people that have been on our program here and uh i i got a i got a preview of this app a couple weeks ago i guess i can say that now and uh i yeah demo a demo oh Oh, yeah?

52:04Yeah, it was pretty impressive stuff. Is Adobe shaking in their boots right now? I think they might be because Adobe, obviously, I owe my whole career, my whole life to them. Yeah, it's expensive. And when you have a business like we do where we've got lots of subscriptions here, it's tricky. And I think it's not even just for us. It's more for the young designers out there. It's for the students. It's for the people that want to - Some for the kids. It's for the kids that want to get into design and they don't have, you know,$500 a month for whatever the Creative Cloud subscription cost is probably cheaper than that.

52:41But like it's expensive and it's not awesome. It definitely puts a wall up to creativity. And Canva, a company that I have had no affiliation with or affinity for, pun intended, they were very kind to me. They wined and dined me and I got to see this app and I think they're doing it for the right reason. It feels like they're trying to help the design community. I'm sure this will also help get more people into the Canva world. And a lot of people are, you know, people are making lots of Canva stuff. Yeah, break down those barriers to entry. And I like that. I like that they're doing it. The people there are nice.

53:20They're Australian. Oh, yeah. We like Australian people around here. 100%. We've had a lot of Australian people come through these doors and all of them great people. Absolutely. Couldn't agree more. And so I am happy there. So if you see Canva sponsoring this podcast in the future, yeah, you'll hear more about Affinity. Before we get out of here, Kevin, one of my favorite stories of the past week, the one that I think has gotten the most sort of love or the most attention on the Slack channels here at Center is a new robot called Neo. And, Kevin, there's been a lot of talk about AI. There's been a lot of talk about robots.

54:00Did you ever think they would wear such cozy sweaters? Oof. I guess. Yeah. Probably not. Probably not. So this is a humanoid companion. So I guess we're the humanoids, and this is the companion. It is a robot. It's a fully walking, not talking, but it does a lot of things. It can do stairs. It can put away the dishes. It could open doors. Wow. It could go from sitting to standing. It's kind of terrifying. It's definitely creepy. It kind of looks like one of these iRobot type sort of creations. But it's wearing a cozy sweater. Yeah. No. I just think it's funny. Like all these humanoid or like all these like robots or companions, AI, all this slop is like, oh, you know, you'll be able to maximize your time.

54:50Like you'll be able to be the best person that you can be. Yeah. because the dishes were holding you back. You don't have time to do the dishes. So I don't know. Yeah, put away the dishes. Start automating. Listen. I argue that doing that stuff makes you a better person. So I would not skip it. Listen, Kevin, I do agree with you. But I'm happy to see that robots are doing the things that – not taking the creative jobs away from people but actually taking – Taking the regular jobs away from people. The dishes away or the laundry or some of these mundane tasks, finally, a robot can do these things.

55:28I like doing these things. I'm going to keep doing these things. Kevin loves doing these things. I will never, ever have a clanker in my house. And that's on God. One thing I need to say. I'm anti-clanker. Okay. Kevin, you heard it here first. Anti-clanker. The art direction for this robot is incredible. Yeah, it's great. They did a good job. They did an awesome job making it look like the future is kind of warm and friendly. a lot like her. It's giving her the movie. Well, hopefully people don't get out of hand like Joaquin Phoenix did in her. You bring up a good point. I don't know how I don't know how I don't know how sealed up this robot is or if it's impervious to liquids or I don't know what the situation is there.

56:11Wow, Kevin, you took it to a very sexual place. But you know what? That turtleneck is pretty nice. It's a nice turtleneck. Again, I didn't think of robots wearing sweaters. That was genius. Whoever did, it was like, oh, that thing is so scary. Oh, no, I don't want that in my house. Oh, my God, but it's wearing a cream turtleneck sweater. Not a big... All of a sudden, now I just want to cozy up to it and snuggle and watch a movie together. Okay, yeah. That's me. That's just me. Maybe it'll stretch my legs. I don't know. What else can... Probably stretch out a little bit. Yeah, that's what I need.

56:40I just want to get stretched out. That's it. I'm just trying to get stretched out. Stretched out by Neo. Kevin, the last, last, last, last story, Kevin. You sent me this, and I thought you were sending it to me for my marathon recovery. Grater's Black Raspberry Chip is my personal favorite ice cream on the planet. Yeah, shout out Cincinnati. Shout out to Cincinnati, Cincinnati's finest Grater's and I was like, oh fuck man, I didn't get any ice cream. I've been getting pizza. I got pizza. I got sandwiches. I got bagels. I got so much candy. I didn't get a single thing of ice cream and now I'm going to have to fuck up some Grater's and it's got a rebrand.

57:14Yeah, they rebranded it. How do you feel about this? I think it's pretty good I think they you know shout out Dew House Dew House you know Kept it local which is good Cincinnati yeah you love to see that great you know I think you know in the grand scheme of things yeah with the current landscape of branding like this totally could have been worse yeah you know I think they you know an effort to like modernize and expand the reach you know they were trying to probably expand the national reach you know since it is you know yeah the brand is expanding into more national grocery retails and shit like that.

57:48Oh, you know what's funny? I wanted to see what the old one looked like versus the new one. It is a lot different in a much better way. Yeah, they cleaned it up. They made it look tastier. I think the packaging on the Black Raspberry chip is pretty banging. I think that's the hero skew. It's got the gold lettering, which I like. Yeah, they don't all have the gold lettering. I see that here. This one does. I was curious if they all would. Yeah, new script. It's got a bit of a Van Leeuwen vibe. I mean, we just had Natasha on the show, so I can say that. It's good. I mean, here's the thing. My window for eating whatever the fuck I want is closing, and I'm going to order some.

58:27It's probably going to come with the old packaging. It doesn't matter. That ice cream is so good that I don't care. But, man, yeah, it's a nice job. It's a nice update. It definitely feels more modern. It feels like it fits in with the sort of category norms. Yeah, definitely. I could pick bones here, but I don't think I will. I think it's a nice job. I think they made Cincinnati proud. I think as a Grater's Ice Cream super fan, mostly only because of the black raspberry chip, I'm happy to see that when I order this, it will come and I won't feel quite so lackluster. Yeah, I'm just glad they didn't massacre my boy.

59:06They didn't massacre. It's not a massacre. It feels like a yassification, if anything. a bit yassified, but it's just got to glow up. Yeah, honestly, you know what they should have did? Yeah. They should have given it to my boy Garrett over at Order. You know what? He would have done a great job. He would have knocked his shit out of the pork. Yeah, no, I mean, I like that they kept it Cincinnati. I like that they kept it local. And the only thing this did is make me want to eat Grader's ice cream, black raspberry chip. And they did the thing, Kevin, that you love, which is they have the ice cream spilling out of the top of the pint, which, as you know, is impossible because the pint only has as much ice cream as it can hold.

59:44Whatever. I'll let it slide for the greater good. Yeah, for the greater good. Wow. Name of the podcast. No, the name of the podcast is Victory Lab. Okay, cool. Most of it is you talking about the marathon. What? I ran a marathon? Yeah. You bring up a good point. I did do that shit. Shout out to me. Shout out to all the people that believed in me. But most importantly, shout out to me for doing the work. Yeah, shout out to Alex. Shout out to me for believing in me and for running those miles. I couldn't have done it without me. Hello, everybody. It's me, Kevin. Just wanted to say that last week we got a copyright strike from Spotify for using a Smash Mouth song in an episode like five years ago.

1:00:32So we probably will not be using outro music anymore to avoid another copyright strike because that would be a bummer. So yeah, just go play that Miley Cyrus song, The Climb. I think Alex talked about it. So that's what I would put here, The Climb. Thank you.
