0:00I'm happy for you. That sounds fun. Yeah. I'm happy for me as well. Yeah. No, Thanksgiving rocks. We all know that. It's the best holiday. Yeah. We can all agree. Yeah. Well, I don't know. It's a good one. It's definitely a good one. I think it's top tier. Yeah. I like it. Top two and it's not two. Okay. Sure. I don't think so. I don't know. What do you got? What do you got? What's your number one holiday? I don't know. Christmas is pretty good. I just don't think Christmas is as good. It's kind of the same. Why do you always got to rank it? That's fair. I like all the holidays. You sound like my wife.

0:47Three, two, one. Kevin. What's up? What's up, buddy? Nothing. It's our official Thanksgiving episode. Gobble, gobble. I think it's probably my favorite episode we do just because what it signifies. Usually, it's like the last thing I do before. Before you say goodbye for the year? No, no, no. Before you get a nice little break. Yeah. The best part about the end of the year is that you get two breaks. Yeah. There's that get out of school type feeling when we're recording or when I'm editing. I feel like it's always fun. Brands are always doing some dumb shit. Yeah. Brands are doing dumb shit. And I had this conversation yesterday where there's only like 20 working days left in the year or something like that.

1:32Wow. And, yeah, starting to punt things to 2025. And God damn, does that feel good? That's great. Yeah. So, yeah, we're rounding third and coming home for the year. And, yeah, this year the holiday algorithms gave us a nice sizable break in terms of the way that those dates landed. And we're looking forward to it. I think we deserve it too. Definitely. I just want to say thank you, Kevin, for all the hard work you've done this year. I'm thankful for you. I'm very thankful for you. Yeah, exactly. And so we have a guest episode next week. I guess we could probably say it. Chutzpah? No, it's not going next week.

2:08It's last week. Oh, it's last week. Wait, so chutzpah's going out. Chutzpah's going up. Yeah. Oh, you loved the episode last week from chutzpah. That already happened. Not in the future. It already happened. Okay. So this is the Thanksgiving Day. This is the Thanksgiving Day. Spectacular. Yeah. God. I don't want to burn a guest episode, but I feel like, generally speaking, it's better to have a more casual episode. God. But what about all the people in their cars right now? Everyone's in their cars listening to Front Center. I don't know. I don't know if that's true. Yeah. No, it definitely is true.

2:43I'm not sure if we get a Thanksgiving bump. Send a pic or vid of you and your car listening to Front Center, and we will absolutely post it on Instagram. Sure. Our Instagram's doing kind of well, actually. We've been getting followers. Yeah. Slow build. Slow build, but I feel like the levy is going to break soon. I keep saying that. No, I mean, I feel good. The show has been great. We had a great year, Kevin. I know, lots of guests. Lots of guests, amazing guests. And I've really come to love the guest episodes, actually. Yeah, I mean, they're great. As much as I like just chatting you and I at a table.

3:14They're just different. They're just different. You said it's your favorite episode of the year. What are you thankful for, Kevin? How are you showing gratitude? to um show gratitude by living my life to the fullest ability yeah yeah no that makes sense going crazy on the bike getting getting active protein maxing yeah protein maxing yeah i'm protein maxing as well kevin the proteins there are high yeah dude i just had three boilers dude dude you're such a legend i ate a massive amount of eggs yeah i worked out real hard this morning I was pushing some real weight. I did too. You know what? My arms are tired.

3:52I rode 30 miles this morning. Sheesh. Look at this. Fucking fitness, boys. I just want to say, Kevin, we've never felt better. Just the two of us. Definitely. We also, I was going to say we've never looked better, but I feel like that's for someone else to decide. But I just will say it. I think we've had some tough moments, Kevin, throughout the course of this podcast. I think both of us, sometimes you let it go. Yep. Right. With the food and the self-care, the beards. Yeah. Yeah. COVID specifically. Oh my God. I look back and I'm like, what a mess. I pulled a video of us tasting the better bagel.

4:28Oh God. Yeah. And I was looking at it. I was like, I can't even like, I can't even get through this. I can't. Yeah. Not to shame myself or. Yeah. Or self-pity or not looking for that, but. Not to destroy or self-hate, indulge in self-hate, but holy shit. Yeah. We look bad. We look bad, but that's glow up. We've grown up here, Kevin. I just had a beard that wasn't kept up at all. I know. It's so hard. I want to grow a beard. I looked like a slob. Yeah, I looked like a slob too, man. Slob, slob era there for a second. But hey, we made it through. Yeah, definitely. And now we're cooking with gas.

5:00Definitely. Speaking of sort of cooking with gas, Kevin, I did finish the Martha Stewart documentary last night. It's a good one. And I see here in the doc, Martha Stewart doc was fire. She is a bad bitch. Yeah, that's my thoughts. Those are Kevin's thoughts. I love that. Yeah. It's funny. We're watching the Vince McMahon doc right now. Oh, God. It's a similar control complex they both have. There's definitely some similarities in leadership style. Definitely. I mean, there's similarities, but Martha's way cooler than Vince. Yeah. No, Martha is fucking dope, right? Yeah. What a badass. Yeah. Just through and through.

5:42So smart, charismatic, funny. Oh, yeah. A little ruthless. Her husband's such an idiot. Yeah. Her ex-husband. What a fucking idiot. That was, I mean, that piece apparently went viral. I didn't see it. But Jackie told me that the part where she talks about sort of kissing some guy at a cathedral and how her husband cheated on her. But then she also cheated on him. And, yeah, just badass shit going down in that documentary. Yeah, she said that it was just emotions. Yeah, just emotion. It was just a kiss. I don't know. Yeah, it was just a kiss. And then there was another guy, though, that also. But you know what?

6:19Martha's fucking, you know, she doesn't need to explain anything to anyone. Her husband at the time was getting it from everybody. That's right. Exactly. Everybody was getting it from him. No. And I think that part going viral, it's like that overlooks the most important part, which is she built like the first media company conglomerate influencer fucking, you know, billion dollar brands like fucking hey also the spreads like the spreads when they first move up to connecticut oh my god those are insane dude when she first starts like getting catering popping catering like insane spreads she was throwing it down opulence and yeah she's got great taste she rocks she rocks she is clearly a great business yeah her husband ex-husband's such an idiot but who cares about the husbands or the yeah it's just like this is one woman's like absolute like hell of a life and just like truly an inspiration to all.

7:15I'd never do that to Martha Stewart. No, I mean, absolutely not. And then the part where she gets locked up and then she comes out like even stronger. Like what a, what an absolute. Was that Akon song?

7:28I didn't know that much about Martha Stewart. Like a lot of these docs, you know, sort of like surface level and then you get the details and I know she went to prison and I know that she's like poppin' and Snoop Dogg as part of it. I know that much. And so it was cool to see how that happened. And it all comes back to the Bieber roast and how they just became friends. And I think just, yeah, she's got a great sense of humor. Yeah, she was truly funny in the Bieber roast, too. She had some writers, but she delivers. And she's got good timing. And she yeah she knows who she is and who she's not and yeah the other clip that uh was really funny where she was like why am i gonna give a fuck about men's feelings yeah which is just truly legendary oh yeah like what am i gonna ask him how he feels exactly yeah yeah i don't i don't want to know that i don't care and so yeah there was definitely a bit of a like what a legend yeah just like feelings are like yeah they get in the way of the work you know this is very old school very like yeah why are we all worrying about all these feelings when we could be busy taking care of our to-do list yeah i mean a healthy thing's probably somewhere in the middle yeah yeah yeah i wondered how she felt about like gen z uh you know sort of the generation that uh is is very much in their feelings i bet she talks mad shit behind closed doors i would imagine yeah some of those clips of her like telling other people to do or were pretty savage i mean honestly sometimes i'm in the kitchen yeah like with that orange when she's like yeah why you couldn't that with that on fucking knife.

9:05Yeah. I mean, that's a dumb decision. Dumb decision. You got to let her know. You got to let the person know that she's - There's probably a bit of a nicer way to do that, but hey, you know, Martha, do you, Martha, do you, Martha. I don't know. Sometimes when you're trying to direct stuff or - You got to get the shit done. Yeah, exactly. Especially in the kitchen. It's like, oh my God, I can't believe you're doing this. Kevin is very much like the Martha Stewart of the kitchen. I'm Martha-pilled. Yeah, you are. You are. When you get a little bit of control there, Kevin, and I've said this before, a different side of you comes out and i like that side of you you you you are uh your boss thank you you're a pit boss kevin that's what it comes down i tend to know what i'm um yeah kitchen and yeah you know especially matching the vibe of the night you know yeah you love it i don't know sometimes i have a hard time delivering uh feedback yeah like is you know kitchen feedback in a nice way and then sometimes it's blurted out it's hard shout out to it's hard shout out to anyone who uh has shared to Kitchen with me.

10:01That's right. Exactly. It's hard to tell people things that you want them to do without them absolutely hating you for it. And Martha, you know, maybe she's, you know, maybe, maybe I would imagine since that clip, also tough time in her life, right? And that's a long time ago. I bet she settled down. Oh, it's just funny because it's like she's doing this as like almost a PR move right before she goes to jail. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I'm not an asshole. Yeah. Yeah. This is gonna make me look good. Right. And she's like, stop using that fucking knife, you know? Kevin, this is a story that you just put on my radar literally like three minutes ago.

10:36John Stamos is facing backlash for wearing a bald cap in solidarity with his full house co-star Dave Coulier, who is diagnosed with cancer. So I didn't understand. You were trying to explain to me. I was doing a couple other things. But now I kind of get it. So Dave Coulier, unfortunately, has cancer. Hopefully, you know, sort of. Hopefully that is it doesn't, you know, wish him the best. Yeah. And then John Stamos, famous friend of Dave Coulier from Full House, sort of put on a bald cap to support him. And people are... Read the caption. He posts on Instagram. Yeah. Is that caption after he got called out or before he got?

11:17I believe it came with the picture. He says, nothing like throwing on a bald cap and flexing some Photoshop skills. Let's be honest, John Stamos. You're not doing flexing any Photoshop skills. Yeah. That was definitely your social media. I don't know. John Stamos could probably cut it up a little bit. I doubt it. You're handling this with so much strength and positivity. It's inspiring. And you're going to get through this. I'm proud to stay with you every step of the way. I love you. Listen, here's my take on this. People got to chill out. People got to chill out. He's doing something for a friend.

11:48I mean, he didn't do anything. What do you mean? He put on a bald cap and took a photo and posted.

11:56Now more than ever, you have to post. It's not the posting. What, do people want him to actually shave his head? Well, I mean, yeah, that's fucked up. He's got a great head of hair. He's fucking John Stamos. Why would he shave his head? Yeah, he's not going to. That's totally reasonable that he doesn't want to actually shave his head. It'd be a disservice to humanity if he shaved his head. Exactly. That's a fucking handsome man. I love John Stamos. I'm not mad. Yeah, yeah. And I don't know if anyone. 61 years old. I don't really know if anyone's mad. I feel like it's just almost manufactured people being mad.

12:27But I mean, it makes sense. I mean, it's not solidarity. It is solidarity. He posted a photo. He's wearing a bald cap. He looks great. And listen, I'm just going to say this. John Stamos has arguably the greatest hair in American history. Yeah. That man has an incredible, incredible hairline. Incredible hair. He's 61 years old. That man is a stud. Yeah, for sure. And you want to, like, get off that guy's nuts. That's my official statement. Get off his nuts? Yeah, like, let him live. Let him live. He's supporting his friend. His friend, you know, Dave Cooley, I am sure, appreciated it. And we got to stop taking ourselves seriously.

13:12Yeah. I think that's the point. It's like, outrage culture, like, we just got to chill out. Well, maybe John Stamos should stop taking himself so seriously and shave his goddamn head. Oh, you can't shave my head. If it was anyone else, I'd be like, yeah, you should shave your head. But it's John Stamos. That hair, it would be a disservice to America, to humanity. I just think, don't even put the bald cap on. Just be like, hey, Dave. We're overthinking this. He posted something. It was solidary. It was sweet. It was a nice thing. It's fine. It was a nice thing to do. I'm just poking holes. I'm being a hater.

13:43You are. The internet needs to calm down. The man was just trying to do something nice for a friend. And you know what? Here's the one thing that I will say. at the end of this, he probably will get more. This will bring more attention to Coulier's cancer, and people will probably send him more well wishes. So in the end, this probably worked out well. But just get up. Relax. Relax for a second. Kevin, we got to move on because we got to talk about Funyuns. How do you feel about Funyuns? Let's start there. Not a big fan. Yeah. I'm not a big fan. Neither. But I think if there was a bag in front of me, I'd fuck him up.

14:22Well, yeah. I mean, no. I would say, but if somebody is eating Funyuns around me, I would definitely ask them for one. Yeah, me too. I haven't had a Funyun in a long time. But I don't seek them out. They're not like a go-to gas station grab. No, no, no, no, no. Not in the, yeah, it's tough. They're there. And I'll think about them, maybe, but probably not. I'm not a big chip guy. No. I like a sweet onion chip, though, like a kettle chip. Yeah, or Hal's. So I don't mind an onion-y flavored chip. It's just Funyuns kind of taste a little artificial for me. The reason why we're talking about them is because they have a new release.

15:02It's called The Princess Bag, and it's a dazzling over-the-top tribute to all things glittery and pink. The packaging features a sparkly silver crown around the Funyuns logo. It is shimmering diamond butterflies and a whimsical ombre pink gradient that transitioned from soft blush to vibrant fuchsia. Beautiful. The flavor is described as princess emoji, heart emoji, sparkle emoji, butterfly emoji, heart emoji, nail emoji, and is more of a vibe, Kevin. And if you get it, you get it. And I'm just going to go out on a limb here and say I love this. This is amazing. Yeah, it's great. This is smart.

15:37We talked about this a little bit with Coke Creations when they gave their flavors some like Pixel or Space or whatever the fuck, like flavors that were not exactly straightaway flavors. and I thought that was brilliant. Like, we will have a little bit of mystery. Yeah. So, emoji flavored. Yeah, just do cool, fun shit. It's cool. More cool, fun shit, please. Yeah, cool shit. And to be honest, I wonder how these taste. Are they like sweet and oniony? Read the emojis, dude. No, but I'm curious about the actual flavor. That's what they taste like. That's what they taste like. Read the emojis again.

16:11Yeah, so now princess emoji, heart emoji, spark emoji, butterfly emoji, heart emoji, nail emoji. Definitely. Yeah. So I want to try them. I do want to try them. And I'm very curious. So Funyuns, reach out. Send us a bag. And we'll do a little taste test on the show. The unfortunate thing is I do believe it's like a limited release slash influencer box. Cowards. Cowards. Send us a fucking influencer box. Come on. Yeah. I think at this point, the show, I've been saying this since the show started. But I think, you know what we got to do, Kevin? This is officially a call to action. Right here, if you work for a company, send us stuff.

16:44We'll try it on the show. We'll give reviews. We'll shout you out. Free ads. and then we'll also post on our Instagram. Yeah, we've done it a million times though. But no, I'm saying maybe we need to do it on Instagram. We do live taste tests or we do some sort of unboxing content. But yeah, I'm curious. They've piqued my interest. Sure, yeah. And I want to try them and I hope they're a little sweet. Yeah, that'd be great. Yeah, I think that's what I want. I want the flavor to be like, yeah, like a sweet Funyun. I think that would be kind of interesting. Exactly. Yeah, yeah. And I'm here for this.

17:15This is getting weird in a fun way. Yeah, definitely. Package looks great, too. Yeah, packaging looks great. And I love the crown around the logo. That's brilliant. Yeah, fuck it. Let's do this. Guggenheim has rebranded. And this is the quote-unquote rebrand of the week. And this comes from Pentagram. And there are parts of it. You ready for this big brain analysis, Kevin? Yeah. There are parts of it I like, and there are parts of it I don't like as much. I know, I know. First and foremost, we're not going to get - Hot take. Yeah, hot. Hot take. Flaming hot take. I'll just say it as simple as this.

17:53I like the new word mark. I think it gets a little bit more chunky. It keeps its kind of fashion-y vibe. And I dig it. I think it's a nice upgrade. I think it's still recognizable as Guggenheim. I think it's, yeah, it's a nice, subtle, but sizable upgrade to the typeface. The open source typeface is also a pretty sick move. Yeah. Good typeface. Give the typeface to the people. Yeah. Which I like. Yeah. So shout out to Pentagram for doing that. The piece that I don't love, which is the new Guggenheim logo, which is a G, and I didn't see in the sort of brand new case study of it all that there were sort of like different versions of the G until you put it in this article.

18:36Yeah. It's kind of like, it's almost like a window. Yeah. It's like a window. It's just classic. Yeah. Kind of like a window, but it changes. Yeah, kind of like the Airbnb logo where it's like it's one iconic shape and then it's like you can do all these other things with it. And let's also put some respect on the Airbnb rebrand. That was done like 10 years ago, but people hate on it at the time and it was great. So you're all wrong. Maybe I'm wrong about this, but yeah, that G just feels a little techie, I guess is probably the word I would use for it. And Guggenheim is obviously one of the world's great art museums.

19:10Is it not reminiscent of the building, though? Isn't that what the... Is that the... Oh, did you use, well, actually, me? I love it, Kevin. Well, I don't know. Is that what you're talking about? If that is true, I don't know. I mean... I think that's kind of what it looks, because there's that big... It's like spirals up. Yeah, it is. But does that G look like a spiral? Kind of. I don't know that it does. Maybe. I mean, I like that idea, Kevin, like, here, while we're spitting here, how about we do some, like, brand new commentary section, like, ways to improve this logo. I think if it was a bit more mimicked, not a sentence, I think if it mimicked the actual building structure, which is iconic and was a little bit more communicative, I guess, of that idea, I'd be down for it.

19:55I don't love it. I don't love it. I don't know. It feels like a weird chart. I don't know. I see a pie chart. That's what I see. and I particularly don't love it on like merchandise. It's just, I don't know, some things don't need icons. Yeah. And I don't know that this... Yeah, I don't think it really needed the icon, especially it's got a strong word mark. Yeah. So maybe rock with that. Yeah. I don't know. I don't really care. This is Kevin's hot takes on design. Don't really care. Well, Kevin, I do got a story that you're going to really care about. The hard pivot. We got to get into the Thanksgiving meat and potatoes.

20:37Turkey and mashed potatoes here. Maybe some stuffing. Those topics were just some light discussions that you can have at your Thanksgiving table. Which one? Those other topics? The things we just talked about. I mean, you can talk about this stuff, too, if you want. Yeah, for sure. I noticed that you didn't post A.O. by Molly Baz. I don't see that here in the rundown here. Kevin, we created a brand. Perfect for Thanksgiving. Perfect for leftovers. and perfect for sandwiches, which is called AO by Molly Boz, available now at eatao.com for delicious flavors. We've tried them both. Talk about that with your family.

21:12Yeah, talk about that with your family. We've tried them all, Kevin. We tried the Haji Jardineo, the Dijonayo. We didn't try the classic mayo, actually. I don't think so, right? No. No. And the Dill Pickle Mayo. You're a Dill Pickle guy, so that was good. That was good. I'm very excited to try the final, final product. And yeah, go online. go buy that shit right now yeah definitely and uh tell them center sent to you center sent you can you tell them yeah tell your tell tell no tell your family oh yeah yeah be like oh tell molly boss herself yeah tell her tell my tell my boss and tell your family that uh a design studio that has a podcast called front center they do client work and they launched a brand called ao which is a next level mayo company that's putting a little bit of sauce back in the mayo game and your family will be so happy.

22:04Definitely. They'll love a variety pack. Definitely, yeah. I think that's really... It'll be a great gift. Yeah, the gift. Actually, shit, I should get on that. I already ordered one for my mom. She's probably listening, but I think... At this point, I guess I'll probably have already given her the mayo. Hopefully. Right? Hopefully. Hopefully. Well, Kevin, now that we got that out of the way, shame us on promotion for us. But listen, I would just say it's one of the big stories of the week. It's not a story. It's on the dial line. It's on Fast Company. It's on all the places. So we would talk about it if someone else did it, probably.

22:44Definitely, yeah. But we'll talk about it less because we did it because we're not good at it. Yeah, we can't be tooting our own horn. Self-sucking. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That much. Sucking our own mayo. We can't be doing that kind of stuff. But yes, Kevin, you're right. We're entering into the speed round Thanksgiving topics that we either. What do you want to do? We got a boom or doom. Let's boom or doom. Yeah. Fucking yeah. Or like a. What do you got? A gobble system. Oh yeah. Gobble, gobble. One to five. Gobble. I think four is enough. All right. A four gobble system. We just. All right. How does that sound to you?

23:17Sounds good. Yeah. The first one is from our good friends over at Screwball. Screwball is a delicious peanut butter whiskey. If you've never had it, you should definitely get that for your holidays. It is candy. It is so tasty. You just pour that shit over ice and you will be very happy. As someone who likes sweet cocktails and loves an old fashioned, try Screwball. Honestly, it is a solid, solid flavored whiskey. and they have a partnership with the rapper, his name Young Gravy, to quote unquote, screw the usual holiday traditions in favor of some much needed nutty mischief this season. They're encouraging Americans to give thanks and get basted.

24:02Kevin, question for you. What is the partnership outside of just a photo of Young Gravy and Screwball? What are you talking about? It's a baster. Oh, it's a baster. It's a baster that you take shots out of and you can get like the gravy boat. Oh, got it. I see the baster and I see it's branded, but are they giving these things out? No, you got to buy them. You got to buy it. So it's a 50 ml screwball shot baster and a wooden baster holder and a gravy boat to fill with screwball peanut butter whiskey. So it's a set. It's a full set that mimics sort of a gravy sort of sauce thingy mabob that you would typically have on your Thanksgiving table.

24:43table uh kevin i'm gonna give this three gobbles gobble gobble gobble i'm gonna give it two gobbles okay just a gobble gobble because you know it is festive it makes sense the crabs fine um i don't love young gravy yeah yeah i wish there were some other outlets for um but this works some of these guys to go go down instead of wrapping but that's such a big statement i wish there were other avenues for these guys to go down other than rapping yeah which i mean what do you think well you know uh twitch streaming what do you think kevin i mean he seems like a solid guy captain like uh seems like a solid guy i don't know yeah sure i'm happy that he's you know getting brand partnerships but yeah his music is fucking ass yeah his music is bad but uh i'm with you kevin we're kind of in the middle here because it's it's not bad like first and foremost young gravy doing a thanksgiving promotion yeah makes sense slam dunk and screwball plus young gravy are that's a good partnership that makes sense for these two it's a brand yeah there's brand synergy there and then the actual idea of a baster in sort of a shot device that's mimicked by thanksgiving i like it with get basted maybe maybe i'll uh maybe i'll bump it to three gobbles ah kevin i'd love to see it i'll give it an extra gobble it is it's a nice yeah thank you well thought out.

26:05It's good. It's good. It's not bad. We take off one gobble for his music. Where does the baster go, though? In a turkey. No, no, no. Where are you supposed to base the liquor? You take it out from the gravy jar and then you put it directly into your mouth. Oh, in your mouth. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Directly into your mouth. Well, that's good. Okay. Yeah. It's an unexpected new drinking experience. Yeah. Well, good. I'm glad it goes in your mouth. Yeah. And quote together, we're excited to turn tradition on its head and craft memorable moments for families and friends alike. I'm here for this. Kevin, moving on.

26:39Mayonnaise Blanc. Spread cheer in Mayo this holiday season with gift party hosts really want Hallman's Mayonnaise Blanc. Kevin, do you know that between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day, millennials attend or host an average of 24 events and as many as 40 % of Americans are likely to buy wine as a gift during the holidays? 24 events? That is way too high. That's not true. That is not true. That's not true at all. That's crazy. That's insane. That is 24 events. I'm lucky if I go to two, two, four events. Between Christmas and New Year's, there's like four weeks. What are they talking about? That is insane.

27:15So, Hallman's invoked a mayonnaise blanc, zero ABV, 100 % mayo that features creamy tart lemon notes on the tongue and smooth finish. So, this is a non-alcoholic wine that tastes like mayonnaise. Where do we rank this, Kevin? This is a zero gobble. Yeah, I'm going to give it one gobble because I think it's so, like, it's bizarre enough that it might actually take, but I don't love the execution of it. The wine itself, the design isn't bad. But I can't get over the average of 24 events. Like, if you're going to provide stats, like, please, please. That doesn't seem right. That's not right. But, I mean, I guess, like, it just doesn't connect.

28:01I get the idea of Thanksgiving. You're showing up to an event. But mayonnaise doesn't really belong. If I was having a Friendsgiving and somebody brought this, I'd tell them to get out. Yeah, bring some real wine. Yeah, bring some real wine. Or bring some bureau. Or bring a dessert. Yeah, just zero ABV wine with mayo flavor. I don't know. That's not a thing. I would respectfully ask them to leave. Yeah, get the hell out of here. We have a quote from SVP Marketing. condiments at Unilever North America, Jessica Grigio. Heilman's has always been a go-to ingredient in classic holiday dishes, but this year we're excited to make it a staple gift that takes center stage of your holiday gatherings.

28:44This is not a center stage product. This is not center stage. Yeah, we have nothing to do with this. When you're spreading, mixing, or just curious, Manny's Blanc is redefining what mayo can bring to the table. I just, I don't know. No, no. One boom or one gobble yeah yeah and I don't know I don't know what why I'm giving it that but I think it's maybe the label design it's not terrible no the label the label looks nice that's what I'm saying so that's where you get the one it's just a bad it's not like my favorite idea that I've ever heard in my life no I also just don't get it like mayonnaise is a part of Thanksgiving but like definitely is but but in dishes right like yeah so I don't know I'm confused by this I don't have mayonnaise out of my wine.

29:24I don't have the attention or the time to even try to figure this out. Moving on, Kevin. Get your turkey from Popeyes. That's right. Popeyes is bringing back its Cajun-style turkey for all you hungry fans for its third consecutive year. According to the brand, turkey comes hand-rubbed and infused with an iconic Louisiana-style seasoning for a zesty, bold flavor that should impress. It also added that the turkey is the perfect centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table, offering both convenience and unmistakable Popeyes taste. Ayo, hand-rubbed for a zesty, bold flavor? That sounds good as hell. I'm here for you, Kevin.

29:55I'm going to give this two gobbles. I'm going to give it a four gobbles. Whoa. Gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble. Wow. I bet this is fire. No, I agree with you. I think it's probably great. It's great. Also, getting a turkey delivered or not preparing a turkey, it's a move, and it's a solid move. I've had a pre-made turkey before. Honestly. It's kind of nice not to have to deal with that, the bird. obviously and especially if you don't have the capabilities like i would never personally get this um but yeah if i was at somebody's thanksgiving who wasn't you know but i wouldn't shame someone like it's almost like yo i didn't really want to go through the work yeah of making a fucking giant turkey and so i got this this turkey from popeyes and it looks kind of fire and it's hand rubbed and infused with louisiana style seasonings i'd be like respect yeah to be honest, I'd rather you put in your energy on the sides.

30:50Yeah, definitely. And the turkey is always kind of cold and kind of just sitting on the table anyway. You can do turkey well. It's just like you got to, it's a big dog move. I bet this is pretty good. Honestly, no shame in people that would get outsourced the turkey. Yeah. Not every freak off the street can make a turkey. That's right. Make a good turkey. And I like the seasoning thought because the seasoning, turkey is so bland, and I feel like I'm just always looking for something, which is why Ayo is going to be on my turkey Thanksgiving table. I'm going to hit my turkey with some mango, and I'm here for it.

31:26Kevin, moving on, turkey espresso. It's that me espresso. Reynolds presents its annual Thanksgiving turkey recipe based on an iconic cocktail. Kevin, cocktail trends come and go, but none have reached a level of culinary culture ubiquity as the espresso martini. This Thanksgiving, Reynolds is unveiling a daring new take on the iconic trick with an espresso turkey teeny recipe. This is interesting. Yeah. I'm struggling with the photograph. Yeah. The photo of this that Kevin and I are looking at has Reynolds wrap on a table with some kind of like cool modern-y art direction, but the turkey is looking a little overdone.

32:06Well, it's like espresso rub. Espresso rub. Yeah. It's got some sort of espresso rub on the outside, which is intriguing for sure. And I think I'm going to go ahead and give that a four gobbles. Wow, four gobbles. I think it's a bold. I'm not a big espresso martini fan. I don't even really think I would like to try this. So it's a recipe for a turkey that uses espresso rub. It's not a recipe for a cocktail. I think there's probably an accompanying cocktail recipe. But everyone, I mean, espresso martini is an espresso martini. Yeah. But I'm going to give it four gobbles just for the – it's a bold, creative recipe.

32:51And I'm sure if you're into espresso or coffee-rubbed stuff, which is a thing, it'd be good. I would try this. I would try it too. I'm going to give it two gobbles. I'll tell you why. I have no idea whether this has anything to do with Reynolds Wrap. Why is espresso like - It's an annual Thanksgiving turkey recipe. Based on an iconic cocktail. I think what they're saying is they do a release of a turkey recipe every year. Yeah, but why they make - Foil. Foil. But what does that have anything to do with cocktails? It's not the cocktail. It's about the turkey. Yeah, but why are the turkeys inspired by cocktails?

33:32Because they're being creative. What are you talking about? I'm giving it two gobbles. I'm having a hard time Reynolds Wrap Foil is a crucial part of Thanksgiving Oh respect to the foil Yeah Like we can all agree a foil is a top tier tool and that Reynolds Wrap is in my house Definitely 100 % of my days and that's you know so listen I have nothing They're just having fun Nothing No beef with Reynolds This isn't like super heavy on the promo It's just like hey here's a turkey recipe that we always do Yeah Bold recipe honestly So four gobbles. Good job. Okay. Well, Kevin, that brings us to our last story, which is Hard Mountain Dew.

34:10Remember Hard Mountain Dew? I assume that's Mountain Dew that has alcohol in it. That was a thing. I guess they launched that. It's still around, it turns out. It's not rebranded yet. Yeah. No, it hasn't been. The rebrand has not hit the Hard Mountain Dew yet. Yeah. So they want you to ditch your family this Thanksgiving, Kevin. So if the idea of spending the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday with your family sends shivers down your spine, Hard Mountain Dew has a solution for you. ditch them and take a vacation instead. So on Tuesday, the drink company announced it's giving fans a chance to win a trip to wherever they want anywhere in the United States.

34:42Though it did add. So as long as it's a place where I'm hard mountain do is sold. Wow. We're a plus one. If they, uh, they get a plus one, if they don't want to be a total solitude, basically you go to, you're going to go to Florida. Yeah. You're going to, you can only go to Florida because hard mountain do is probably only available in Florida. And it's probably the only place with like warm weather that you really want to go to, uh, At this time of year. Yeah. Which. I mean, it sounds good. Two gobbles for me. I can't get myself more because, you know, the spirit of Thanksgiving is about being with family and loving.

35:16Well, hold up. With your loved ones. They're giving you three nights, four days and a$5 ,000 spending stipend. Oh, that's kind of sweet. Sorry. Giving you another gobble there. $5 ,000 stipend is let's go. Yeah. You could ball out. Yeah. I also like the URL, which is hardmountaindooditcherfamily.com.

35:41That's comical. Yeah, I'm not super into this. I'll give it two gobbles, gobble, gobble. I don't know if this is exactly in the spirit of Thanksgiving. That's what I mean. That's why it's kind of sad. But we do have a quote from Erica Taylor, Senior Brand Director for Hard Mountain Dew. Quote, your time off is precious. as our credit card travel points, and we believe Hard Mountain Dew fans should be spending it far away from the antics of Thanksgiving dinner table. Instead, you should be going out, doing what you want, and pursuing your passions. Oh, shit. Hold up. Oh, Hard Mountain Dew wants me to pursue my passions.

36:16Oh, hold up. I might have to change my rating. On the website, it says, so your ditched family doesn't miss you too much. We'll send them a cardboard cutout of you, cover the cost of their feast, and of course, plenty of Hard Mountain Dew. Oh, wow. All right. All right. That gets another gobble? It gets another gobble for me. You get a cardboard. That's a triple gobble here. Yeah, you get a cardboard to fat head. That's hilarious. And they're going to cover the dinner, which is great. For your family, the ones they ditched? Yeah. I mean, listen, Hard Mountain Dew. And of course, plenty of Hard Mountain Dew.

36:50I like a brand that takes an anti-hero approach, a bit of villain energy. We got Hard Mountain Dew, Ditch Your Family. I'm here for this, Kevin I don't think it's the spirit of the holiday but I do find it quite hilarious Yeah, it's funny It is kind of funny but to be honest though I think there are other holidays where you want to ditch your family maybe more I'm trying to think of what those are I don't know Thanksgiving is the one I want to be with them the most Thanksgiving is the best holiday Some people have different family situations Yeah, that's fair I think this is funny I think it's a little me-inspirited, but it's for hard Mountain Dew.

37:32And I wish this brand was sort of a heel. More brands should be heels. Definitely. Everyone wants to be fucking - Yeah, bringing people together, loving community. We do need more heels. That's a great insight. Yeah. I mean - Everyone wants to be the hero. Yeah. It doesn't work. Our new president is a heel. Literally from WWF. I think that's a part of the documentary. Did you get to that part? Yeah. I'm on what episode? I think we just finished episode 3 last night we're going into the attitude era yeah then you haven't gotten there I think they talk about Trump and how he essentially was sort of learned how to be a WWF heel or sort of figure and has applied that to politics not to get political here at the end here Kevin but yeah no I think brands being heels is kind of interesting and hard man do listen fuck it go for it yeah what are you going to be the It already has a tattoo on the front of the can, so might as well just lean all the way.

38:30Yeah, I wonder if they're just going to leave that. They rebranded Mountain Dew, but I wonder if they're just going to leave Hard Mountain Dew as is just because it's hard. Oh, that's right. You bring up a good point, Kevin. When you were talking about the rebrand, I was like, what do you mean? And how quickly I forgot that Mountain Dew is not MTN Dew anymore. It's now back to Mountain Dew with the Mountain Dew and the outdoors on the can. So you're right. What is that? Where does this leave Mountain Dew, Hard Mountain Dew? Yeah, I don't know. We'll have to see. Yeah, we'll all be waiting. Oh, we should talk about, oh, we got to go, but we should talk about Zuck.

39:01We haven't talked about Zuck in a while. Oh, he's releasing an album? Dude, he's teaming up with T-Pain. Z-Pain. Yeah, I mean, he was on Trackstar. What's Trackstar? Trackstar is that show where you get$5 if you can name the song. And the humanization of Zuck, the rebrand, we've been tracking this for a long time. Cool guy, Zuck. This has been a front and center favorite topic for well over a year at least. Ever since he started wearing cool glasses and shirtling coats and clothes that weren't hoodies. I mean, I'm here for all of this. The video I watched of him talking about music, I was like, holy shit, Mark Zuckerberg is a human being.

39:40And I have never thought that before. I was like, this is not a robot. This is a human. and for that whoever is behind the rebrand is uh they they they should get a grand prix account they should just submit a case study of you know zuck from robot to a cool guy or you know an actual human being with with with a heart and who likes music you think mark zuckerberg liked music if you asked me does mark zuckerberg listen to music i'd be like no absolutely not his taste a little shaky, but Kevin, uh, we got to run because it's Thanksgiving and we got to go eat our turkeys. I'm gonna let you finish, but it wouldn't be the Thanksgiving special.

40:19We didn't mention the Roto-Rooter Brown Friday. Oh man. Is that in here? Just to have some respect for your pipes. Oh yeah. Take it easy on them. Don't throw grease down the drain. Um, Brown Friday. It's the most, it's the busiest day in, uh, in the plumbers year. So just, you know, take it easy. Uh, Definitely flush twice or three times, you know, if you need to. Yeah, for the plumbers out there. Yeah, take it easy on the pipes. Do your jobs. Kevin, I'd be remiss if I ended the Thanksgiving episode without saying our gratitude and thankfulness to the listeners, to each and every single person who listens to the show.

40:53We appreciate you. We're grateful for you to do the show. For the love of the game, as everybody knows. And yeah, show a friend. And if you're new here, welcome to the program. This is what it is. Kevin and I talking. And then guests. So guests. another one next week maybe who knows maybe don't want to make any promises no we also that's a little as a show we don't make promises yeah it's a little far we're bad at keeping promises we're gonna get through uh this episode and then we'll figure it out all right perfect that's a perfect statement uh thank you everyone gobble gobble all right gobble i got beans greens potatoes tomatoes lamb beans greens potatoes tomatoes chicken
