0:05Are we on? We're on the air! Hello and welcome to The Hangout. Why is that so funny, The Hangout? Do you not like it? Shall I change it? Do you not like it? I don't know why it's funny. I like it. Oh, you like it? One likes it. Not sure. Not sure. No. Don't like it. So one like, one dislike, one undecided. Yeah. So that essentially is undecided. Because the like cancels out the dislike. A good cross-section of the audience there, though, isn't it? Nice. How are you, Ant? I'm all right. Thanks, Derek. How are you? I'm very tired. Are you? I am very, very, very tired. I'll make this quick then. Can you?

0:44Yeah. Yeah. Do you want to get back to bed? Why are you so tired? It's been busy, hasn't it? We've been very busy. We are. And I came back from being away for a little bit over the weekend. And I had Sunday at home. The current Mrs. Donnelly went out with her friends all day long. Sunday. All day Sunday. Old isn't it? Where did she go? She went out for a Sunday lunch with her friends. Now that's nice. She left at eight o 'clock in the morning. For a Sunday lunch? For a Sunday lunch. Right, and what time did she get on? 5 p.m. Did she? Yes. Did she have a few drinks? She had one or two. Did she stagger through the door and she got in?

1:23No, she wasn't too staggery. Taking her jeans off, over her head. Hello, how are you? I had a very busy week and my weekend was not relaxing or restorative. So I'm very tired. Well, I'm very sorry to hear that. How are you? Better than you. Oh, I'll tell you where I went yesterday. Went to a new pub for a Sunday lunch. Best scotch egg I've ever had in me life. Did you have that for your Sunday lunch? No, that was a starter. Oh, I see. And I don't like eggs, do I? No, not traditionally, no. Traditionally, I don't like an egg, do I, Fiona? You know this. I do. Because you wind me up about it a lot.

2:00But... It didn't make you a bit gassy. I don't eat the yolk. I figured out it's the yolk. That's the best bit. What? The yolk. You only eat the white. Yeah. In a Scotch egg. That's very Californian. Hold on a second. Can I have an egg white Scotch egg? No, the best bit of a Scotch egg is the sausage meat. That's the best bit of a Scotch egg. And the breadcrumbs. And the breadcrumbs. What? Just get a sausage roll, she said. Do you know what? You could really just be grateful and thankful. Because I've bought you some Scotch eggs. But you're not having them now. That's it. Sorry. Shall we just get on with this episode?

2:37Because you're tired and they've annoyed me. So it's a great start, isn't it? Should we just end it there? Yeah, let's end it there.

2:46No, let's not end it there because we actually have a very, very good episode. Very exciting episode for you today. We've got the question mark on the door and I'd like to do the declaration right now. I do declare that I know who is behind the mystery door. Do you? I do. Well, I can declare, I also know who's behind the mystery door. So it's not such a mystery door this week. It's just a door. With a very, very special guest behind it. We are very excited that this person is here today. Should we give some hints? Yes, go on. He rose to fame as a YouTuber and is now one of the most successful YouTubers in the world.

3:26Has amassed over 14 billion views on YouTube. Very good start, that. has gone on to become successful in the world of business, music, and boxing. Stats we can only dream of, Anthony. Which is part of the reason why we asked him here so we can pick his brains and get his advice. He's also the newest judge on the panel of Britain's Got Talent. Can we have a big hanging out welcome for KSI? Shall I get the door? Answer the door. We'll move over. I want the door! Yes! I'm here! I mean I hugged first Good to see you guys How are you? I'm good You're there You're there Come on in Welcome to the hangout Yeah Do you like the name?

4:14It's nice Do you like the name The hangout? The hangout Hanging out No this No The hanging out And this is the hangout This Oh So why didn't you just call it hangout? No no I think you misunderstand Oh what The show is called hanging out with Ant & Dec. Okay. So you guys are just hanging out? Just hanging out, yeah. That's it. Okay. So we can't change that. That's done. Why do you call it just chilling? We've gone to press. Why do you call it just chilling? We're not going to change it. We're not going to change the name. We're very happy with the name. Okay, okay, okay. What we're unsure on is whether this building should be called The Hangout or not.

4:55Okay. This is hanging out coming to you from The Hangout. Why don't you just call it The Room? am i wrong yeah or maybe he's right he knows this stuff 14 billion views guys so for those of us who are watching this and don't know your your history give us a brief history okay so it started out with me playing fifa you couldn't see my face it's just me playing the game I put videos out like that, do skills and all that jazz. And then eventually I showed my face, lost subscribers because of it. So eventually I got a lot of those subscribers back just from making better content, improving, and then showing my face, showing my personality, and grew and grew and grew.

5:47And then I started to do stuff outside of my YouTube channel to try and gain a different audience. So the music, the boxing, and just everything else. So now I've ultimately come back to YouTube and gone ham. And now my content is just giving people money for laugh, making me laugh. So you had all the success with all your own stuff. And then you started with the Sidemen. How did all that come about? We were just a group that a lot of us just met online. And we started playing like GTA videos together. Right. And then from there, we just made more and more content together. And we ended up being like, oh, yeah, we should make a group.

6:26So we made a group called Sidemen because we were like everyone else's Sidemen. And then we got to a point where we were like, oh, we should have our own channel. So can anyone be a part of the Sidemen? Could we join the Sidemen? No. Okay. It sounds like really good fun. No, but you definitely could be a guest. Could we? Yeah, definitely. Could we come and do something fun? Yeah. I'm trying to think what you'd want to do. Something nice. Something nice. Did they do nice? Well, we did a Try Not To Love in 24 Hour video where a random guy came in and pissed himself. So... Well, I've got no problem not laughing at that.

7:11I'm horrified. I know. He wants you to piss yourself. You have to be the random guy.

7:20But yeah, our videos are very random. Okay. All right. Well, we're here. We're available. Keep us in mind. We'll let you know. Yeah, keep us in mind for a fun one. Of course. So we've just started this venture into YouTube. So this Belterbox is our YouTube channel. Well, I'll tell you one thing. One of the most important things is the thumbnail and the title. Oh, really? The first thing you see when you look at the video is the thumbnail. And if it's insane, if it's something that makes you go, oh, I need to click that, then that's a good thumbnail. What would be a good thumbnail for this video?

7:56Just us three. Our faces. Big. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then in the title, it could be like, we say something crazy. KSI brutalizes Ant and Death's YouTube channel. Or it's like, if I literally hit you. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Then that would be fantastic. Well, we'll come to that later. Something, we'll come to that later. Oh, great. I've got an idea. Okay, okay. Yeah, okay. What? What? I'll explain to you later what my idea is. Okay. Okay? Great. But this might involve that. By the way, we can talk about YouTube forever. No, I want to talk about YouTube. Because your career is almost like the opposite of ours because you started on YouTube and you moved over to Britain's Got Talent as a very successful judge on terrestrial television.

8:42We started on terrestrial television and now we're moving over to YouTube and we're both doing, all three of us are doing both things at the same time. So how is it for you now having done YouTube for such a long time and then moving into TV and under something like Britain's Got Talent, do you find that very different discipline for yourself? It's different audiences. So it's like I have to watch what I say. So like a lot of times on YouTube, I'm just swearing and saying whatever. Whereas on Britain's Got Talent, I have to make sure I said to myself. And I think there was a word that I didn't even know you were allowed to say.

9:17What was it? Like ass? Right. Yeah, you're not allowed to say ass on TV. Is he allowed to say that here? We might have to bleep that. Say what you want here. So I remember I had to redo it and say bottom instead. Oh, my God. So there's stuff like that. And how do you find it? Because obviously when you do YouTube, you're in charge of your Reddit and everything. You're in charge of the whole thing. When you come to Britain's Got Talent, you turn up you do the the shows and then you go off home and somebody else takes care of the edit and and how it's seen and you you probably see it when it's in its finished form i can be a bit of a control freak so it is a bit like i want to look my hair out that i'm not able to look at the edits or you know have any input but especially after my little trial on the last season on bgt yeah i saw how it was edited and i saw how it was done and i was like okay put me at ease so that's one One of the reasons why I was like, oh, I'm happy to do this again for this season.

10:21And I felt like, you know, with the content that we got, the filming that we did on BGT for this season, I thought it was incredible. I thought it was, personally for me, one of the best seasons we've ever had. Oh yeah, same. It feels amazing. It felt like the levels just went up, like, hugely. Yeah. And I think, again, that's one of the reasons why people would want to watch. People want to, you know, constantly see elevation. And they also want to see judges who are just honest and, you know, telling how it is. And I felt like all of us were properly on it. Yeah, it was really good. We were properly honest, just telling them, like, I mean, obviously, maybe I was a little bit more brutal than like Alicia and Amanda.

11:08You were far more brutal this time than you were last time. When you were just a guest judge, you were very polite and nice. Yeah, exactly. This time I was like, whew. Simon? Yeah. He, he, it felt like old school Simon. It did, yeah. It felt like he was properly bad. Do you know what I love about Simon Cowell is that we've been with him since Pop Idol, right? So the first ever series of Pop Idol. So he's done Pop Idol here. He's done American Idol for years. He's done America's Got Talent. He still does Britain's Got Talent. X Factor here, X Factor in the States. Yeah, X Factor, X Factor. And I've never seen him or heard him give the same critique twice.

11:44Like he'll, there's a, there's a real skill in that, isn't there? And do you find that watching him do, do what he does? You go, okay. Yeah. There's, there's a skill in what you do. Oh, no. I mean, he's an absolute legend. And like, even with the things he says to people and how he says it, it's like rage baiting. I don't know what you mean. But like, he knows how to get a response in order to get a clip out of it. Yeah. And it's so smart. with how he does it. And he's been doing it for years. And obviously, like, people, it changes how it's said. But, like, right now, he's able to, like, get clips from that.

12:25Yeah. Which is so smart. Whenever there's a new judge on Britain's Got Talent, it's great for us to because we see the show through your eyes. Yeah. Bizarrely, like, you end up, you know. There's a freshness to it. There's a freshness to it. And then, tell you what we realised when you became a guest judge last year, but more probably this year was you see the insanity in the show. And I think we got used to how insane 332 is over the end. And you get a bit just used to, oh yeah, there's another crazy actor and there's another crazy actor. But you, for the first time, were like, what is this show?

13:01I was so confused. Were you? There were so many moments where I was like, what is going on? Are we on earth right now? I think one of the highest bits of praise you can give to an actor as well is when you go, when you say, you know, for a man who's been on the internet for most of his life, when you go, I have never seen anything like this and you've seen some stuff. I don't know how much I can say, but there's, there was a few acts where I was, I was contemplating my life. When the acts come on, there's no feeling like it. When you stood, I presume like when you stood, sat down at your judging desk and we're stood in the wings, there's no feeling like it because you've got no idea what's coming next.

13:43It feels great, doesn't it? When it flies and you feel like you're seeing really good talent for the first time, you feel very privileged to be standing there. What do you look for in a golden buzzer? Something that I haven't seen before, something that makes me, just wows me, something that I know will get loads of hits. It's kind of just like that. And there was quite a few acts that could do that. There's one I want to say, but I don't know if I'm allowed to say bleep it if I'm not allowed to say but the guy in the wheelchair yeah yeah yeah what the hell bro it's amazing it's insane yeah Britain's Got Talent is back this Saturday yes good I can't wait watch a party at mine watch a party at mine I'm busy I'm out yeah I'm actually just I've already organised that see you later at home the thing that I'm really interested in is your boxing how did how did how did all that come about Did you do it in school?

14:41Have you always been interested in boxing? I've never done it in school. I never did it as a kid. So it all started as a joke. Wow. So I messaged a guy called Joella, who was fighting another guy, another YouTuber called Theo Baker. They were just doing a YouTube event thing. And I put in the comments being like, oh, I'll fight the winner, lol, as a joke. And then Joe saw it and said, all right, let's go, I'm ready. Then I was like, no, no, wait, huh? I don't want to fight. And you'd never boxed. Never fought in my life. I was a gamer. So all I did, the only fighting I was doing was with my thumbs and the thumb stick.

15:20Yeah, yeah. So the fact that I was now being goaded into fighting this guy who trained a lot, I was like, yeah. And at the time, did you go to the gym and stuff? Were you? No, no, no. Hardly anything. Really? It was so bad that I had to learn how to run. now you're probably wondering learn how to run anyone can run yeah but bro when I was at that point I couldn't run for more than like a minute really because you just wouldn't have it in you like I just felt like I was I would get tired quick my legs would get itchy and itchy? yeah so is that a thing? I get that itchy legs itchy legs when you run?

16:01do you get itchy legs? when I run? yeah I get an itchy left bum cheek what's that? when you run? no no just in general I think that means you're coming into money, isn't it? I think so, yeah. So anyway, so I had to download an app in order to learn how to run. So it was a thing called... You started from a low base. Yeah, so I was like coach to 5K. A couch. Couch to 5K, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Did you do that as well? I'm doing that right now. No way! Jemima is basically the female you. Hang on a minute. Hang on a minute. Who are you fighting? Who have you got beef with? Is it Lola or Fiona? Yeah, so that's what I started on, to learn how to run.

16:46And from there, then I would go to a boxing camp to learn how to punch and, you know, spar with people. So, yeah, I was from ground zero learning how to fight, and I had six months. Wow. And then you learned, and then you won. That focuses the mind. And you won the fight. I managed to win, yeah. Third round. No way. One thing I've always wanted as well, when you do that, you say you had six months to train, you had to learn to run, you had to get in the gym, get bigger, you went through the itchy legs. But the first time you're training, because I always hear this, like it's all fun and games until you get a punch in the face.

17:20Yes. The first time you got a punch right in the face and you go, oh, guys, this stuff. I started crying. Did you? Yeah. Well, not like, but like, eyes watering, eyes watering, like nose hurting. I was like, this sucks. Why do people do this? Yeah. So I've been punched so hard that I see a flash. Right. Yeah, so those aren't great. I've been hit so hard that everything starts moving like this. Oh, my God. In the ring. In the ring, you're like dizzy and you're like, oh, so the best way to sort that out is to avoid getting hit for a while. I don't ever want to get hit. Well, talking about getting hit, I've got a game, right?

18:04Right. and the loser of the game might have to get hit. What do you mean, might have to get hit? I think someone's at the door. Somebody at the door? There it is. Yeah. Yeah. Hold on. No one not. They're willing to edit. They're willing to edit. Hold on. Oh, my Lord. You're familiar with one of these? Of course I am. So this is what you wear in the ring when you're training. Punch that. Do you reckon you could take a punch with this on? I probably could. Ask me if I want to take a punch with that thing on. Could you take a punch with this thing on? Easy? Even if it's me or Dak hitting you? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

18:44What if it's both of us hitting you? You can hit me as many times as you want. It's fine. Right, let's play a game. Okay. And the loser gets hit. How many times? Agreed. Okay. Yeah, how many times? I agree, but how many times? Like not a three minute round, like just two tiny hits. Two tiny hits. Your biggest hit and your biggest hit and your biggest hit. Deal. Deal. if you're just listening it's just some kind of padded body armour body suit body suit that you put over your head and you can get hit really hard in it apparently your biggest hit you've seen these before yeah I've seen these before you've you've seen these before I've seen them before yeah I've never worn one I've never had any inclination to wear one everybody listening and watching right now wants Dexter to lose so much no we don't no we don't I'm a lover not a fighter right I'm putting the body suit there and the rules of the game are simple.

19:34For the rules of the game, it's over to Lola. Okay, so this is called Whose Comment? We're going to show you comments either from an Ant & Dec video or a KSI video and you have to each guess whose video it was on. I feel like this thing's been very easy. Do you? Do you? Do you? Yes. I think I know my audience. Do you read a lot of your comments? Yeah, I read everything. Do you? Yeah, because it's good. You get a lot of criticism, like good criticism from them. But does it wind you up when people are just unnecessarily rude? No, no, I think it's hilarious. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I find, bro, like I've received the worst of the worst, but I find it so funny.

20:16Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's how I deal with it. I've never read the comments. He has never read the comments. And if we get a bad comment, I have a little cry. Oh, I think he might win. First comment is, My hands felt greasy watching this. Well, uh... Do you guys want to start? That comment has got 99 thumbs up. I think that is one of yours. I also think it is one of yours. Are you trying to think what video your hands might have got greasy? Yeah. Do you remember all of these comments? I think that. I think it's mine. Okay, so we're all gone for yours. It is... It is a KSI video. Yes. Which video was it?

20:59Which video was it? It was a KFC mickbang. Oh, okay. Okay, thank God. KFC video, right? Okay. That makes sense. Could have been a lot worse. Next comment. Can't see my phone for crying. Need a tenner pad. Do you know what a tenner pad is? No idea. It's for ladies who... Leak. Leak. They weak. That should be the tagline. They weak. Tenner pads for ladies who leak. Wait, but as in like they just... So if they laugh too much, sometimes a little bit of wee comes out. Oh, what? Yeah. So tenor pads, collect the wee. Okay. That's great. Get them on my channel. Yeah, but try not to laugh. It's everywhere.

21:47It was a good episode. Get the tenor pads out. It's a good episode. Series episode sponsored by Tenor Pad. I think this is your channel No I think yours I think it's ours It is an Ant & Dec video Yeah No way Which one? It was an ASMR video That you did ASMR video Oh we stopped doing them We should do them again Do what? If you didn't need telepads If you watched them You did an ASMR Yeah ASMR One like Yeah we've done one of them once Oh wow You talk about that yeah Right next comment I reckon they secretly hate each other Oh well that's clearly about us Yeah It's gotta be Because who else Well I suppose you do a lot of videos With other people I do I do I do Who do you most frequently do videos with?

22:35I'd probably say my bro So would they secretly hate each other? I mean we've had our moments For sure But I definitely think it's your channel Yeah I think it's our channel Declan? I think it might be KSI's Oh It is Ant and Dec It was a Jungle Club video where you did a love confession for each other. See, we do secretly love each other. These two definitely have a unique friendship. See, now I'm just... Yeah, now I doubt it now. You've really dug down, haven't you, to make our minds bend. I'm going to go KSI again then, because I think you've switcherooted again. I'm going to say KSI. I too will say KSI.

23:19Correct. KSI video and it was a prime announcement with Logan Paul. Ah, you need friendship. Okay, good. Seeing blank next to AJ just puts into perspective how big he is. Ooh. What are we talking about? Big here? That's got to be you. I mean... That's got to be you. Yeah. Yeah. I've been next to AJ a few times. Yeah, Joshua, that's got to be KSI. I'm going to go with us why I think it might be when we did get out of my ear with Anthony Joshua yeah but I think but I think that but I think that might be me stood next to AJ yeah it's it's enormous because you could put KSI or Anne or De that's yeah that's why that's why that's why this game works but yeah because there's only three letters I'm saying ours I'm going to say it's mine I'm going to say it's Kiss House.

24:21And Deck. You're right, Deck. It was the AJ. Is it me next to the AJ? It is. You all right? Well done. Next one. Jimmy Neutron has entered the building. What? Wow. Jimmy Neutron? Who's Jimmy Neutron? It's a cartoon character. It's a cartoon character. Ah, with dark hair. Does he have like a pointy cliff? I think he does, yeah. I used to have a bit of a pointy cliff. I'm kind of a pointy cliff. alright that's about us alright Ant and Dick we're all seeing Ant and Dick correct and it was a filter video I had a massive forehead Ant had a massive forehead that wasn't a filter video I don't need a filter for that I mean yeah this is why I cover it maybe that's what I need to start doing wearing bandanas why is that so funny I could get away with that right Do it in my mind real quick.

25:18Yeah, go on then. Try it on. Let's see if it works. Okay. Right. Hang on, guys. I think we've got the thumbnail. Right. Come on then. So.

25:33What? No? Yes! Yeah? There it is. Right. Pretend you've never seen it. I'm just bringing conversation. I'm like, morning. Morning. Morning. Peace! Does that work? That's for me. Yeah? Looking drippy. Drippy, yeah. I like it. Hey, it really helps with the cold wind. Yeah. Well, doesn't it? Came for the comments. Left because of the music. Oh. Again, that could be any of us. Oh. My forehead feels naked now. This is tough. I'm going to say me. Yeah, I'm going to say him. I'm going to say you too. Oh, no, what? I can't win. It's got 874 thumbs up. I'm going to say KSI too. KSI. Yes. KSI. It was the thick of it, music mid.

26:23Yep. Thanks, guys. Thanks, guys. It means Ant is wearing the bodysuit. It was my idea. It was my idea. Right. Ground rules. Not 100 % to start with, right? Okay. Okay. We can build up. You can have a couple of hits. Start with 10. Start with deck? 10%. I thought you said start with deck, move on to the big boy in a minute. Why have you got a left? Because my left is weaker. Get it on. Right, go and get it on. Let's get it on. You put the right on then. Is your right weaker? My right is also weaker, but so is my left. This comes from the thumbnail. I obliterate tonight. Blaring? I blaring. Right, Kirsten, are you...

27:13Give me... Right, hang on. Do you want to start, Dan? Well, I'm going to have to be this side. Oh, Jesus. You get two shots each. Two shots each. Okay. Right. Three, maybe? No, two. Two! You haven't lost. Shall I go first? Go on, then. What percentage am I allowed here? What are you going... Why don't you do a 50, and then we can see how it goes from there. Okay. Okay? This is 50%. Okay. Hooray! Okay, I can take 100 % of that, definitely.

27:45I look forward to coming back to you. All right. KSI, 50. You want 50? Yes. Okay. Give him six, 75. Okay. I'm gonna have to do it like this. Okay. Okay. Okay, okay. That's more than yours. All right, yeah, right. 100%. 100%, 100%. I don't think you've ever hit me before. I'm doing like that. Right, okay. Fill it with the fairground, you know, when you hit the thing, you want to ding! Okay. Oh, that's better! That was a better one. That was better. That was good. 100%. You wanna... 100%, are you sure? Yeah, just stand behind you in case I fall back. 100%. 100 %? A kiss, I... 28:34Come on. All right. Ready? Count me down so I can tense. I can't tense it too long. Three, two, one. Oh! Hey! Very good, very good! One more, one more, one more, come on. Come on, come on. Move the mics. Jesus Christ. Okay, so this is KSI's third shot. He's not going to hold on. Why are you twisting like that? That's what you want to do. He's warming up for it and everything. This is 110%. Oh! Oof! Give me a count! Oh, sorry!

29:14Sorry. Didn't count him in. He put him on his back. A one! A two! A three! Look at me, look at me, look at me. No, it's all over. It's all over. It's all over. It's all over. K.O. K.O. Well, you might get in here. It's good. Do you want to try it? I've got to have a little go. Can I have a little go? Oh, God. Not the face, no. Not the money maker. No, dude. Come on. What's this, like 15 %? No, no, no, 50. You can take 50. Go on. Oh, yeah. How was this? What was that? 15. 20. Yeah. That's it. You want to hit him twice? Hey! Oh, God! Oh, yeah! Die! OK, he's having it off, he's having it off! He lost the thing and got hit twice.

30:04Nice!

30:09Good Lord! I wish I'd have lost! Flibberneck! You silly goose!

30:19Can we have a go at you now? Yeah, yeah, you are! Good, get this off of me! Come on then. Now tell me if this is anything you've been hit with before. Go home! Finish with me! Harder!
