It's Thanksgiving week. We're bringing you one great episode this week. We're yapping and recapping. We're hanging out. The vibes are high. I am in the car because if that doesn't say it's Thanksgiving and families in town and around, then I don't know what does. But before we get into our episode today, it is Thanksgiving. So let's do a little gratitude. And I promise I'll try to keep this not boring. First of all, Giovanna, I'm so grateful for you because the show literally couldn't exist and be so good if you weren't here.
09And I had the idea to do this show like three years ago. And when I posted about it on TikTok and found you, I just didn't know it was going to be so good and so fun. And so I just love you. And I'm so grateful because I really couldn't do this or make it half as good without you. Oh, I love you too. This is so cute. Were you not expecting that? No. I told you, Ivana, I said, I'm going to do some gratitude at the beginning, but I'm going to try and make it not boring. She's like, I don't know, researching something, looking at her phone, hanging out. I'm really looking up stats and I have to pause out of my seat real quick.
47I have to pause my stats. Oh, man. Well, really, that's how I feel. I feel really, really grateful. I feel like anytime you have an idea that comes out of your head and actually materializes into something cool, that's a huge win. And you're just such a huge part of that and like ideating the show and making it so fun and so easy to do. I was in such a cranky mood this morning because I am in a car and I just didn't plan very well. And then we started hanging out. I was like, oh, I'm fine now. So excuse us why Victoria and I have our own moment. Yes. Should we have done this in private? Get a room, guys.
26Oh, man. But other thanks we want to give. Laura, our editor, you are absolutely fabulous. You changed my life. When we started this show, I was editing for like 14 hours because I straight up don't know how to edit. And Laura, you have made this just exponentially better. So if you feel like the audio has grown a ton, That is thank you to Laura. She's fabulous. Thank you to all the girls who have come onto the show, who we've interviewed, who have also made the show what it is and so fun and so exciting and have really helped with our mission of amplifying female voices and all the girls in Living in a Fantasy League.
57That's what really like skyrocketed the show in the first place. So all of the girls, if you're participating in Living in a Fantasy, we are obsessed with you. We can't wait to make it bigger and better and more sound and more fun next year as well. So just thanks for being here, girls. It means a lot. Thank you to all my friends and family who have commented and been a part of, yeah, helping us grow and listening in and checking us out. And even if that's only one episode, we really, really appreciate you because this is I'm literally living my dream life right now. And that's really nothing to shake off.
30So we'll keep the thank yous to that. But just know that I have immense amounts of gratitude for everyone who has showed up for the show, who's liked anything, who's listening in for the first time to the girls we've interviewed to Giovanna to, yeah, everyone who's like supported us. And we really enjoy doing this. So that's all I have to say. In short, we love y 'all. We love you. Today, we just finished week 12 of the NFL. So we are going to do a big ins and outs list, really light energy on the show this week. So let's just get into it. My first in that I want to do is overtime. I know. I said a lot of smack about overtime and ties because ties will forever be on the outlist.
20Absolutely do not give me a tie. You guys know how I feel about it. Play to the death. This is Sparta. Quite literally. For Sparta! Did you see that the Coliseum in Rome is looking to host events? Shut up. I know. Yeah. So they're looking at, could they make a retractable stage to go over the parts underneath that the, that the gladiators used to sit in and then they're going to like host events. And I'm like, could you imagine a sporting event at the Coliseum? I was just going to say, imagine an NFL game. Imagine an NFL game. I would be, I would be there six weeks before just waiting for it. Eating pizza, even pasta yeah can you imagine a rave at the coliseum i don't rave but yeah i'm not a big raver either but i'd be down to go yeah if you told me that if you're like do you want to go to a rave i'd say no you say do you want to go to a rave at the at the coliseum i would say yeah how much what do you want me to demo you what should we wear but i'm just like imagining the lights and also on that note not football related did you see that the pope like threw a rave.
33So no, is that like, Oh, is that acceptable? I mean, he's the Pope. I like that. He's bringing it into real, real time. I think it's like, I mean, we all know what happens at raves. So is that what was happening or is this just like a really enlightened group of people? Oh, it's probably both, which probably was crazy, which maybe what is what made it the best part. the combination of the two yeah that's all the information i have but all i know is that i saw the pope on a screen the screen shuts off it goes black and then the light also yeah no actually also though should the nfl be taking lighting suggestions from raves because can you imagine like i know we have like the lights a little bit when the teams run out but it's so standard you know we got the fog you have some of those videos of all the teams tripping when they come in but imagine like coming out and then all of a sudden the base and the lights and the team and then there's one spotlight i think we could do more boys i think we could do more i think we could do more too and that's on putting women in charge lighting production like lighting design needs to be better yeah you know i i think that there's a A lot of people doing a really good job.
53I love the bracelets, but I'm just saying, have we ever considered rave lighting? I feel like somewhere, somehow. Somewhere, somehow. Okay, but did you see that there's been a bunch of fake tush pushes? Oh, yeah. Because who said we should do that play? Episode two of this show or something. Your girl. Victoria. Vicky Seat called it, said, what a play call. How many have we seen? Too many. Am I Carly? I'm on the sidelines. Give me the headset. Give me the headset. Where's my Christian Dior outfit set? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Where's my Dior visor? The tush push is not on my list, but I do like that teams are doing this because it's devaluing the tush push a little bit.
46I would agree with that. Maybe not on the Eagles, but I think across the league. These teams have picked up the tush push. Nobody's done it as well. But I think that it's devaluing the tush push if you're going to set up for it and then not call that play. It's forcing the defense to be more dynamic instead of banging their heads against the wall to figure out one play. Right. Yeah, I would agree with that. And I think, too, when other teams do it, it's a little it's more of like they either do the tush push and like are successful or they like quite literally fake a tush bush. Yeah. Yeah. So I'm here for it.
21I like it and I'm glad it stayed because I feel like it's just creating a new dynamic on the one yard line that I'm enjoying watching week over. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. My next one that I really want to talk about is Jameis Winston. Okay. There's two quarterbacks that are on my end list. Jameis Winston and Teddy Bridgewater. oh okay yes so teddy bridgewater is the backup for the bucks went in over the weekend when baker mayfield had an issue with his elbow i don't think there's anything that's come out that said it's season ending or anything like that but he did go out and teddy bridgewater went in teddy bridgewater also played a snap during the playoffs last year for the lions and i believe last year it was a successful reception for the Lions.
15And then Jameis Winston is the backup for the Giants. And Jameis Winston has been around for so long. We talked about him last week. He's very, very charismatic. His press is just hilarious. I saw some heartwarming moments online of him and his wife before the game, which just reminded me that he might be outspoken in the media, but he's also just like, he's a guy who loves his wife, which I think is really too bad. I hadn't really thought about him in that capacity, which made me love him more. But Jameis Winston almost put the Lions on the outs list. He nearly sent them onto the outs list on the out list for us and on the out list for playoff picture.
58He nearly drop kicked them into oblivion. He had a receiving touchdown. That was crazy. Man's caught a touchdown. and the funny thing about james winston is like he's so outspoken in media to your point what you said earlier but it's like you don't expect you expect james winston to either have a really good game or like go in and throw five interceptions and so his good games are really good games and they're just really fun to watch especially seeing him kind of being like elk on the giants team and And then obviously Jackson Dart watching him play, being injured, but also watching him play, I think is a good thing too.
37And their connection and their friendship is also interesting to watch. Yeah. I just like, he's just like, you gotta love the man. Like if there's any Jameis Winston haters out there. Get out. Like you just don't enjoy life. Like I'm confused. Like why are you mad? Why are you mad? He's so, he's so likable. Mm-hmm. I agree. I think he's like, yeah. Yeah, one of the most likable and one of the most exciting backups to come in because we've seen how many backups this season? Like, I feel like nearly half the league. Nearly half the league. Who's, yeah, like, oh, Brock Purdy made his debut, but who's our LaBubu?
17Mac Jones. Mac Jones. Who's our LaBubu? That's probably one of my best comparisons ever.
28Oh, my gosh. Yeah, so Jameis Winston receiving touchdown, two passing touchdowns, 364 yards. Absolute animal of a game. I loved watching the Giants play the game. I'm a Lions fan. I'm wearing my sparkly Lions sweatshirt this morning. But I loved watching the Giants play, and I don't want them to hurt. Yeah. Hey, that's that season. Actually, let me keep my mouth shut because my predictions on teams being good was just completely wrong. And that I talk about excellence Raiders, your whole your whole team's on the outs. I just I can't with y 'all. Y 'all. I think they actually just fired somebody They did, they fired their Chip Kelly Who Is the offensive coordinator And last season They agreed to him with a Three year deal at six million per year And after eleven games He's now fired This article from New York Times says that Chip and Pete had a rocky It says The Kelly-Pete-Carroll marriage seemed rocky from the start with the head coach frequently criticizing play calling and news conferences, which also Pete Carroll, you're supposed to be my sweetie boy and not talking smack.
53So what's going on? What, who are you hanging out with in Vegas? I don't like it. I don't like it. If you have a problem in your marriage, speak about it in private, not on the press block. Go to therapy like a normal couple. Come on. You can't teach your old dog new tricks. Pete Carroll's like ancient. He is. But I actually do believe you can teach an old dog new tricks. Yeah. Like in dogs and in life. Gosh, he's 74. Pete Carroll. That's insane. Dude, I do think though that I'm going to work until I'm like 80. Like I don't think I'm ever not going to be doing something. Yeah. No, I would agree with that.
34I would say the same thing about me. I feel like we should talk about another quarterback. Oh, tell me. Shadir. I've been waiting to talk about this with you all week because I said last episode Shadira has no choice but to go out there and play well. And he did. And he did. Which is interesting to me. And like this is kind of a crazy correlation. You're like he has to play well. I'm so shocked. No, I'm not shocked. But I wasn't praying on his downfall. but was i expecting him to make some mistakes yes but i think he he beat the expectations of him actually playing a full game for the first time but what was interesting to me is deshaun watson who's been on the cleveland browns for a very long time his first road game in 2025 was this game so he traveled for the first time and deshaun watson was qb1 for the browns for the longest and he was battling a bunch of injuries that were like season ending and then he also had some off the field drama with some domestic violence cases and things like that he's a very controversial character nobody's going to talk about him because like his nfl career is kind of over but he's still on the browns team and he traveled for the first time to help shader in his debut and there's videos of them on the sideline kind of coaching through games So I thought that was really interesting.
06The fact that Deshaun Watson's first road game is, you know, Shadir's first game in his debut and he wins it. There's like another stat. It was like Shadir is like the first quarterback in Browns history to win a game in their debut. Yeah. So, hey, I will clap it up for Shadir. I hope you continue to be great. And there's so many people rooting for him. Like, yes, there's haters, but what I've seen after his performance this week is so many people in his corner. He was actually named the starter going into next week. Yes. And that's a big deal because Dylan Gabriel is out of concussion protocol.
49So he's essentially, he just beat out Dylan Gabriel. Basically, Dylan Gabriel's not hurt anymore. Yeah. Yeah, I was really, really interested to see the comments. Like, I kind of was, like, scared to look at what the comments were going to say because I just—you guys know how I feel about him. I think that the way that the media has handled Shadur has been very, very sad, and I think that a lot of people are, like, preying on this kid's downfall for whatever reason. So I was really nervous to open the comments, and all I saw was, like, people rooting for him, positivity, which I really love. I thought his mid-game interview was a little overconfident.
37It was a little, I was going to say. It was just a little. Okay, but there's two parts of that interview. And again, to your point, how the media spends it. A lot of clips are just that one clip. But if you go back and like watch that interview, he like shouts out God. He talks about his family and how he's so thankful for this moment. Like, yes, at first I was like, that was the only thing that I was like a patient or like. Like, what did he say? I was like, oh, match in the offseason. That's dangerous. That's dangerous. Yeah, he's like, this is on one week of practice. Yeah, I was like, okay, buddy, calm down.
11And also, speaking of the Raiders, y 'all played the Raiders. I was going to bring that up, too. Yeah, like, I'm not discrediting your efforts. Good win. But you played one of the worst teams in the NFL. Yeah, honestly, I know that they're 2-8 and what the Giants are like 2-9 or 2-10. Oh, I guess their Raiders are now 2-9. But I would say that the Raiders are the worst and most irrelevant team in the NFL. Unfortunately. I think that's the harshest thing I've said on this show. But that's kind of what I feel. Yeah, so I think it's hard because they are the worst team. But then again, you watch Jared Goff almost lose to the Giants, who are just decimated, like emotionally and physically.
04And Jared Goff almost lost to them. Actually, the Titans are the worst and most irrelevant team in the NFL. They're 1-10. Yeah. And they had the number one overall pick this past season. They're also irrelevant. You're right. No, I had to double check because I was right there with you. I think the Raiders are next in line. Yeah, like the Titans have to do something. The Titans need to fire someone big to like get on the map. A.K.H. of Kelly. Like they need to do something dramatic needs to happen, like healthy drama. Okay, not like crazy drama, but like some healthy drama needs to happen over there.
42They have to win a single game at home. That's so sad. That's so sad. I've heard though that their stadium is like one of the best experiences because it's right downtown Nashville. So you can like go to the bars and hang out and then go right to the game. So I've been like itching, itching so bad to go up there, which actually I think I'm going to be in Miami in a couple of weeks. So maybe I could drive up there. Not me always being ready to do an 18 hour road trip. Like, I know I was like, I wish I could see the face that was looking at Victoria because I was like, that's a drive. Yeah, but I don't know.
23I just, I like a road trip. So I'm probably not going to do it, but it would be cool. So yeah, Shadour is on my in list. The clip where he said, yeah, only one week of practice. We'll see what happens. Did happen, but he also did say, I'm just really, really grateful. He had a huge smile on his face. I'm happy for him. I'm happy that what I'm seeing, at least on social media, which I feel like the traditional media, like ESPN and Yahoo and podcasts and stuff like that. Good morning football. Like those feel unless there's clips about it on social media from those shows for a guy of his age around like 24, it feels like social media comments may infiltrate his life more than what like a talk show that he doesn't listen to says.
13so I was really happy to see the discourse on him over the weekend I'm excited to see what happens next week speaking of next week the other quarterback back on the in list Joey B I know well this makes me sad though because on the outs list for me is Joe Flacco yes because it might like we literally talked about this in a couple of episodes ago about Joe Flacco, this might be his last season in the league. Yeah. I am holding out hope because of how decimated teams have been with their quarterback situation. I think he's going to land somewhere. However, there is also a big possibility that that was his last game on the Bengals.
01And it also might have been his last game in the NFL. Yeah. I think only time will tell. Yeah, we'll see where he goes. I'm interested to see, like, what was Joe's main team? He was mostly a Raven for the majority. I think, like, his first 10 seasons were Ravens, if I'm not wrong. No, you're right. So I'm interested to see, could he maybe work something out as a backup on the Ravens Ravens and then retire a Raven at the end of like next season or two seasons or something like that to kind of go in like a back home situation. I'm pretty sure that his house is in Atlanta now. I've seen them like travel for for like game days and stuff like that.
54Yeah, I could see him doing that. I mean, that's what Rob Gronkowski did. He signed a one day contract with the Patriots so he could retire as a Patriot. Yeah, the one day contracts are so funny. Yeah, I'm just wondering if Joe's like behind the scenes saying, okay, I realize that I'm like, I just think like if he's on the way out and he wants to play with a different, he wants to leave the Bengals because it doesn't really seem like there's much for him to, well, I mean, Joe went out, Joe Burrow, but like if Joe Burrow goes out officially, officially, they're probably going to just draft someone new.
25So I'm just wondering like, would Joe go to the Ravens as like a backup backup? He could. A lot of QB talk today. Sorry, last thing. You know who Joe Flacco would be really good on right now? Who? The Vikings. The Vikings need help at the quarterback position. That. Yeah. I don't know. That. Yeah, I don't really have any strong opinions on the Vikings, honestly. They're also kind of on my, like, meh list. J.J. McCarthy is on my out list because he actually sucks. He's done two interceptions in each of his last three games. Like, that's insane. Get together. You're supposed to be the teacher. Justin Jefferson has been trashed wide receiver this year because they can't get him the ball.
08Yeah. And you have Justin Jefferson on your team. The fact that we have not spoken Justin Jefferson's name actually shows how bad J.J. McCarthy is. It's bad. It's really bad. Because, I mean, come on. But it's really crazy when you think about it like that. There's a Barstool article, and it says, after yesterday's atrocity of a performance in Green Bay, J.J. McCarthy is now conveniently in concussion protocol. And I just think it's a funny headline. Yeah, he hates to stay there. Yeah. We had too many good fourth quarter games over the weekend to... I think that's why I didn't have this on either of my lists, because I didn't watch this game, because it was the least interesting game of the week.
00Oh, that Vikings game? Yeah. Yeah. Like there were so many good games going on at the same time. So we had all of the games. We had Chiefs-Colts in overtime. We had Lions-Giants in overtime. We had Steelers-Bears going till the last minutes. We had one other game that was crazy close. so that game at that time slot, I was just like, I don't, I have too much, there's too much to watch. I have too many other boys going on. Too many other boys going on. That Chiefs-Colts game is, it's interesting. That score. The score. Okay. I have the Chiefs on my outs list. I just, I don't know. They won. Good job.
51Get out. I don't care. Okay. I'm just surprised they actually beat the Colts but it's like it's the same thing it's like the Chiefs always think out of there with these like stinky wins I think that's why I'm kind of over it is like just be good enough to win the whole game like why do you have to be so dramatic relax like if you're that good then win the game not in the last 12 seconds if you're that good if you're that dominant like okay then win the game I'm so tired of seeing Travis Kelsey looking sad on the screen and then the whole team being like nervous and then being like, the Chiefs, what?
28I don't know. Let's get a new storyline. I'm bored. I agree. I agree. I'm bored. And anybody who beats the Colts, I don't like you. I want the Chiefs to like not beat in the playoffs just so everyone on the media can like rip the Chiefs a new one. I think that's a better storyline than the Chiefs like sneaking in there last second. Yeah. Yeah. And you know, like the reality is, is like, I don't want to be a Chiefs hater because they're successful. Like, I don't dislike the Chiefs right now because they're dominant. I dislike the Chiefs because I'm tired of the storyline of they come back. They always find a way like, OK, that's gritty.
08But like, sometimes things can just be good. Sometimes things like that's been a theme coming up in like my personal life a lot lately is like sometimes things can just be good. We live in a time where people are constantly saying like, this is so hard and this is so hard and everything's hard and dating is hard and life is hard and finding a job is hard. Family's hard. You need therapy and like all this stuff. And I feel like sometimes we just need to throw our hands up and say, you know what? Like this is allowed to be like easy and fun and enjoyable and not anxiety ridden. And like you can just have a great time in your life.
44Point blank, period. Go to sleep. Put your I'm ass gone. Yeah. And so I think that the Chiefs theme of like always finding a way and it being like this dramatic thing is just not aligning with me right now. Yeah. In my life endeavors and like how I want to feel. This is so dramatic. My life endeavors. No, I would agree with that. Like it's just, and like don't get me wrong, I love a lot of players in the Chiefs and I think they're talented, but it is getting, it's getting exhausting at this point. Yeah, I'm just like, I'm just like, I believe that you're a good team. Like, I believe you. You don't need to, like, do something dramatic to prove it to me.
21I believe you already. Right. Literally. Literally. Yeah. Now, who I don't believe is the Cowboys.
30Unfortunately, love y 'all. Y 'all are my boys, but I don't believe y 'all yet. Okay. So I was at Happiest Hour. Do you know Happiest Hour? Mm-hmm. Yeah, so I was at happiest hour watching most of the games on Sunday. And I have to say.
52Oh, my gosh. OK, so I go we go there to watch the Lions game. We're going to catch like the very beginning of the the Eagles Cowboys game, maybe like first quarter and a half. but there's probably 35 % Eagles fans, 65 Cowboys fans. It made me realize how bad we need this community like even, even, even more to like keep growing of women because the amount of men that were like clapping in other men's faces, I was like, what is going on? We're in the first quarter. Like you can't, we're not in the playoffs. like it's the first quarter the Eagles fans are like turning around and like clapping in the Cowboys men's faces and I was like guys like I don't and then look what happened y 'all got upset and look what happened but I just and like there's no problem with cheering for your team in the first quarter but it was like the outward show of like just abundant masculine like abundant unnecessary masculinity because it went so far beyond like hell yeah let's go you got it Saquon like clap, clap, clap.
05It was like the drama to be dramatic in each other's faces that I was like, this feels crazy. And this is why we need more girls. But yeah, I mean, I can't believe, I cannot believe the Eagles did not score at all in the second half. The thing is, I can't believe it. I can't believe it. Their offense has been abysmal this whole season. It took them less than 90 seconds to score on their first drive though. Less than 90 seconds, and then you're going to tell me you can't squeak out one field goal in the whole second half? They had 10 total minutes of, like, really, really good exceptional offense.
44And the rest of the game was just... Yeah. I mean, a lot of the media is saying, like, ticking time bomb, house of cards. You know, people are saying, like, there's issues with Jalen Hurts. I don't like... And maybe I need to watch them closely more, but I really... It's, it's, it's baffling to me how you can go from the top of the mountain and not even come down halfway, but you're near rock bottom, like in terms of how your offenses operate. No, like, because to your point, how can you not score any points in a game against a division rivalry and you just won a Super Bowl last season? And your number one wide receiver on the team is in the media day in, day out, talking about how he wants to get utilized more, how he's not getting utilized enough.

35And that's a whole situation in itself. It's interesting. It's interesting. Yeah. I think the AJ Brown thing is is wild because I think when you're that good, you shouldn't have to go to the media to get playing time. And like you shouldn't have to go to the media to like make a statement on what should be happening on the field. So something messy is going on over there. I'm curious to see what happens next. Do they have coaching shifts? Do they have team captain shifts? Like what's going to go on? I mean, they're eight and three still. So their record is still up there. But I'm curious about the Eagles.
26I'm not really ready to like totally shut them down because they are. They do still have one of the best records and they are pulling out wins. but they gotta get it together. I don't know what they need over there, a group hug or something but whatever's happening now is like, it's getting messy It is It's giving messy and it's giving like AJ Brown in the media is giving like boyfriend flirting while out at party when his girlfriend's not there and it's weird and we hate that, so yeah Why? Well on that note on that note on the outs list I have the Panthers on the outs list it hurts me but I'm a realist okay so switch up Victoria no okay let's be real this is not I have to readjust my stance for this this is not because I don't like the Panthers it's not because I don't believe in the Panthers but if you can't win after Brock Purdy is throwing to your team yeah that was insane yeah I agree that's on you I agree and I I think that this game mattered for them because the 49ers have been playing pretty well regardless of the the injury conversation like the injury conversation for them like is still a conversation but like not really because the 49ers are winning games and that's what matters.
54So whether it's the people that you thought were going to win the games or not, they're still winning games. They're looking like they could have a playoff run. And the Panthers had the opportunity to play a team that's been playing fairly well. You get three interceptions in what the first half and you can't, you can't score like that looks bad on you. So unfortunately, it's not because I don't love them. It's not because I don't believe them. It's mostly because they disappointed me because I've been they've been like my number one team that I've gotten behind who are the bad team I got behind.
33And I like being right. And if they lose, I'm wrong. And that's not as fun for me. So we're on the outs. I would agree with that. I would agree with that. I still believe in them. Yeah, they're still up there. But it is fascinating to see that the opposing team gave you three chances with good field position after momentum switches and shifts. And your defense for the Panthers was giving you those opportunities. And on the offensive side, he couldn't get it done, which we talked about this a couple episodes ago, too. That's like an ick. Like, if your defense is getting you turnovers and interceptions and you can't go down and punch it in for at least either a field goal or a touchdown, ick.
24Yeah, it is. If you're, like, if you get an interception and you can't close the deal, that's embarrassing. Embarrassing. Embarrassing. So the end goal or the end score of that game, if you didn't see it, nine Panthers, 20 San Francisco closer in the first half. It was 10 to three at the half. Carolina scored six points in the third quarter, zero in the fourth, and then San Francisco seven in the third quarter, three in the fourth for 20 points total. Rams are at Panthers on Sunday of this week, that feels terrifying to me. Because, I mean, the Rams are doing stuff. The Rams are doing it all. Did you know that Puka Nakua and Penesul are related?
18Really? They're cousins. Oh, interesting. I don't know that. The more you know. Yeah, the Rams are not on my actual list, but But the Rams are, I mean, it's not like they're out of nowhere. They've been playing well all season. A lot of people still call in for, like, Matthew Stafford, MVP, that's looking even better. I'm worried about the Panthers against the Rams. Hopefully this loss hurt. Any given Sunday. And they come out, like, guns a-blazin'. Any given Sunday. Any given Sunday. Any given Sunday. Okay, on the outs list as well. Well, let's do an ends list first is two cheerleaders on the Titan got engaged.
11How cute. Got engaged. I love that. Yeah, it was really cute because it's like, typically you see like a cheerleader on a team and then the guy is like just a regular, regular guy. But then it was like an actual, they're both cheerleaders. They got engaged on the field. So cute. So cute. Yeah, I love that for them. On the outs list, though, the Titans Men Cheerleaders Shiny Outfits. This is giving women in polos. Because, you know, you go to like a workplace and like the guys are like, you go to wear this. Do not put me in a polo. Why do I need to be my own boss? Reason number one, I can't with a polo.
50I look bad in them. They never fit well. So this was giving women in polos. And if you're a woman and you love a polo, I'm sure you look way better than I do. But overall, I think that like there's 3 % of women who can actually pull off a polo. And I do not fall in that category. And neither do 97 % of other women. But the Titans men cheerleader outfits are like shiny. It looks like leotard material. Like there is no way that it's comfortable. There's no way. Like it's I mean, technology is good. It's probably like sweat wicking. But like, did we need to put them in this plasticky looking, shiny, shiny shirt?
28So justice for the men cheerleaders who deserve better outfits because yikes. Because also getting engaged in that outfit. Yikes. It's not about him being a cheerleader. It's about it's about the outfit because, you know, he didn't choose it. OK, last out that I have is the Bucks. So on my in list, Teddy Bridgewater. I love him. He's like a standup guy. He was in the media for getting in trouble because he was like driving his high school players that he was coaching like to school and giving them resources. And he got some bad press for like essentially doing too much as a coach. And he's like, listen, I'm a mentor.
07Now he's back as the Bucks backup. But the Bucks are out. And then I have a note here that says almost the Lions because the Bucks and the Lions were both almost in this out category. The Bucs, I mean, Baker was starting really, really strong. Obviously, you know, an injury last week, but the injury is not to blame for where the Bucs are and why they're on the outs list. Yeah, I mean, the Bucs are 6-5. Panzers are 6-6 right behind them. And the NFC South, so. Yeah. So, okay, last couple of ins. the Bears
51the Bears the Bears and I think that the Lions are feeling the loss of Ben Johnson more now than ever especially watching Ben win yeah yeah not because they don't want Ben to win it just hurts but because they know that they lost a huge piece of of their organization this is similar to how I feel as a Cowboys fan losing Dan Quinn. Similar because Dan Quinn is doing amazing things in Washington after having, well, I'm not talking about this season, but last season. He did amazing things. And that was tough to see, which happens in the league. Like offensive coordinators, offensive coordinators, they do move on.
37That's the ultimate goal to be a head coach, right? But it's tough to lose someone that you know is so valuable to your team to then go on somebody else's team. arguably a rival team and and then continue to be successful and excel yeah yeah it's it's like a an ex-boyfriend that you amicably break up with and then they get a hot new girlfriend and you're like i'm so happy for you like i know we're not meant to be together but like dang yeah you're like i know it wasn't you like couldn't have been us but like did she have to be that hot She's probably cool, too. Like, oh, that's the worst. God, when you're like, she looks fucking cool.
19And she works in sports. And she works in sports.
27Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. Yeah. So, I mean, go Ben Johnson. I think this is proof that he does deserve to be in the head coaching position. I think that it's good that he left when he did. I think it would have been better for the Lions. Well, maybe not. I was going to say if he had left a year earlier, so then offense and defense wouldn't have left at the same time. I also really feel for Aaron Glenn having, you know, one of the worst seasons. I mean, the Jets are a mess, but like just having such a bad time. So it's like, you know, the Lions are holding on. The Bears are winning. And the Jets are a dumpster fire.
07and I just feel bad for Aaron Glenn because those are like his friends too, right? So like, God, it just sucks. Those are like his friends. Oh, poor Aaron. It's fucked. They are. I think they're all friends. Like in my head, they're all like actually friends. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Last one on my ins list, or I have two more on my ins list. One, Jameer Gibbs. If you didn't see Jameer Gibbs, it's just, he's insane. He's insane. 55 fantasy points. Yeah, that's absolute bonkers from Jameer Gibbs. And then he had a 59 yard touchdown in overtime. Also, or wait, 59. No, Jake Bates, his field goal was 59 yards.
56Jameer Gibbs had could have been like 69 yards touchdown to win the game. Went 22 point something miles per hour. which you guys know is my new favorite stat if you were listening in last week um so jameer gibbs we love you justice for david montgomery who's not getting played so that's that that's like niche lions talk but other in two more texans defense my lord what con what honestly i don't even think we need to talk about it because i think that everybody who's even remotely interested in the NFL already knows what happened. Yeah, Texas defenses. I will say, I have to give a shout out to a defensive player, Danielle Hunter.
43There's a clip of him tackling Josh Allen and he tackled for a loss, ends up riding up as a sack. But Josh was getting, Josh Allen was sacked the most times he's ever been sacked in his career. And the Texans defense did that, which is like crazy. But this Hunter, he goes up, tackles Josh Allen. And at first he was kind of on Josh Allen's knee and then moved his hands to then tackle him and protect his knee, which I can so much appreciate because instead of the NFL changing calls and protecting their quarterback, why are we not teaching our defensive players how to tackle correctly, still bringing players down, but also protecting their bodies, especially the quarterback who's already been having a rough game and is going through lots of pain because he's getting sacked the most in his whole career yeah yeah yeah i mean it was it was awesome i'm i would be really curious to see an interview with him like did he do that on purpose or was that like a natural progression but regardless at neither point in that play did he pull like directly at the knee which i think is just like elevated gameplay.
55Yeah. I love. I love to. We love an elevated man. You kidding? Good on you. Protect your colleagues. Yeah. Protect your colleagues. Yeah. Your co-workers. Co-workers. What if we just started calling all NFL players your co-workers? That's so funny. Like what if Alexandra came back and said and said like oh yeah my co-workers and it's Drake May. but it kind of is that's kind of just facts actually it is but i guess like peers maybe speaking of alexandra i brought her up because she was shouted out on new heights so the kelsey brothers podcast by clarissa thompson who is you know one of the top media women in and around the nfl she's inspired so many women to get into sports media and she mentioned on new heights that Alexandra had written her a handwritten note and then mentioned Alexandra's success at the Patriots.
53We interviewed Alexandra. She told us so much about like her story and how she got to where she got. And it's really, really cool just to see her get shouted out kind of from like a girls want girls to win and we want our friends and friends of the show to win. But also just personally for her, that's huge. And she's someone who has created her own value over and over and over and over again. And so to see her recognized on a platform like that is really, really special. And I think it reminds us, like, keep at it. She's been doing this for over 10 years. She, like, really paved her own way. She has made herself absolutely, like, indispensable on the Patriots media and journalism team.
44And she just got some flowers on one of the biggest shows in the NFL. So, Alexandra, we're just super proud of you and so amazed with everything that you've done. It's badass, honestly. Okay, well, do you have anything else? I think we did it all. In and out. I think we did it all. Thanksgiving week. Go eat some turkey, guys. Just go eat some turkey. We'll be back to multiple episodes next week. But thank you for being here. We love you. And yeah, more to come. We're excited to go into the second half of the season. 46:25But we hope that you and your family get along or having a great holiday. have a healthy and safe time and watching football.
37Let's go. My sister. Oh my, this is one thing that I love about my family. I love about my family. My family are just like so down for everything. Like if I, I've had many ventures in my life. Like my museum of failures is a, is a big one at 31, but my family is just so down. Like they are like what you're doing, we're doing and we're in we're in Texas so we're gonna watch like the Cowboys game but my sister really like leaned it maybe this doesn't have anything to do with me actually so my sister really leaned in and got like NFL plates and we have like a bunch of football stuff and like four to watch the games on Thanksgiving and we were previously a Macy's Day Parade family which we still probably will be, but I think we're moving from Macy's Day Parade family.
27We're just like teetering into the football family. So that's, that's interesting. A new, new development in the Henderson Krebs household over here. So yeah, can't wait. We'll recap them. Okay. Well, we love you and happy Thanksgiving. Thanks for being here. And yeah, the girls happy Thanksgiving.
01We want to thank our sponsors at Kuso Cuts. Honestly, one thing, it is the Thanksgiving episode. And one thing that I am immensely grateful for is Kuso's. Gratitude meets gridiron as we sort Week 12 into a sharp "ins and outs” that actually helps you watch smarter. We start with thanks for the people who keep this show running, then jump straight into the headlines that mattered: overtime games that felt electric instead of exhausting, tush push fakes that turned the one-yard line into a mind game, and backup quarterbacks who stole the stage. Jameis Winston delivered chaos and charisma, Teddy Bridgewater steadied the ship, and Shadur’s debut invited a real conversation about confidence, context, and what earns a second start.
We don’t spare the sacred cows. The Chiefs pulled out another late one, but the comeback storyline is wearing thin—dominance should look like control, not weekly cliffhangers. The Eagles’ offense stalled in the second half, AJ Brown’s media drumbeat raised culture questions, and the Cowboys still have trust to earn in big moments. Meanwhile, the Panthers landed on the outs list after wasting multiple early interceptions against the 49ers, the Rams continued to look dangerous, and the Bears flashed a credible identity. Detroit fans felt the ache of life after Ben Johnson, a reminder of how coaching departures bend a season’s rhythm.
Individual brilliance and defense got their flowers. Jameer Gibbs went full turbo with game-breaking speed and fantasy fireworks, while the Texans defense turned pressure into pain for Josh Allen, pairing relentless sacks with a masterclass in safe tackling technique. Off the field, we celebrated women pushing the game forward, including a shoutout for Alexandra’s work getting recognized on a major platform—proof that persistence and craft still matter. Come for the football, stay for the culture, and leave with clear takeaways you can argue about all week.
