2:37A good rot on a Sunday, especially when red zones on, which obviously not right now, but Saturday football goes so hard. You can wake up in the morning, go to the gym, get a few drinks in and then watch the game. It's the best thing ever. And you can be like non non-inhibited because you get to wake up on Sunday and then you get to have your run. Rams Panthers, 31, 34 Rams, barely squeaked it out. And I feel like a lot of the verbiage that I've heard this morning has been like, you know, the Rams are just really dominant and the Rams, you know, are just playing so much better. And I'm like, Matt Stafford almost lost.
3:18Yeah. So this was supposed to be a blowout, a complete blowout. I pissed some Panthers fans off because I posted a video last week just talking about this is going to be a blowout. The Rams are going to steamroll them. And obviously that didn't happen. The problem here is that it's not that the Rams are necessarily bad. Obviously they could have played a better game. I think the problem with the Rams in this game is that the Panthers are legit. Yeah, the Panthers are good. They are legit. Okay. They had a big game and Bryce Young just for as small as that boy is, he showed up and showed out. He scrambled.
3:57He got out of the pocket. Like he was very, very, very good in this game, which I was honestly shocked by. And they also have that Jalen Coker guy who is next level, had a baller game. I was rooting for them by the end of it. In hindsight, I do have to say I'm happy the Rams won because I think they are, like you said, people are really hyping them up to be some super elite team. They didn't prove to be elite in that game. So I think that's a bunch of BS. I am happy that they won this game though, because they are the better team when you put them against the Panthers in this next round, I'd rather see the Rams go than the Panthers just as a general football fan.
4:34I think they're going to put on a better performance. The problem is that they have to play the bears. Yeah. Yeah. I was obviously the, the seating shakes how the seating shakes out, but I was bummed this weekend to have to watch the Panthers play the Rams. And I think that like the Panthers should be so proud of themselves. They came out from nothing. All of the media is saying that they're not as good as the Rams. And they scored 31 points on the best team in the Rams. Yep. And they've been playing really well all season. And this is one of my favorite things to talk about because I said at the beginning of the show this year that like the Panthers are actually kind of good and nobody gives them credit.
5:14And so it's very satisfying that it would have been more satisfying if they won. but even though they got I mean my lines aren't in the playoffs and the Panthers were but I think that if the Panthers had played the Eagles they could have squeaked out a win I think if the Panthers played the Packers they could have could have gotten a win so it's a little bit of a bummer that they had to play the Rams and I think that like the Rams experience which I kind of I hate the experience argument so I'm annoyed that I'm even saying this out loud but I do think like The two-minute drill that the Rams had to do, Matt Stafford is so prepared in that scenario.
5:53And I feel like all weekend, all I was doing was saying, there's too much time. There's too much time. You can't score this early. You have to wait it out. I know. You have to take the chance and wait it out. You can't give them the chance to take the chance to make it happen in the end. And unfortunately, that's what happens with the Panthers. But yeah, I'm so impressed with them. And Coker had like a really a breakout game yesterday. Yes, he did. Where now everybody knows his name. Everyone. Like what an epic time to like have your essential like it's like a media debut. You know, it's not like it hasn't happened or you haven't been playing well.
6:28But like he had his media debut this weekend. So I think that eyes are going to be on him and eyes are going to be on the Panthers next season as like a force to be reckoned with. And so I'm bummed that they played the Rams because I would have liked to see them go further. but I like that now there was like respect on their name and no one can say anything else. Yes. And I think there's something to be said about the fan base, the Panthers fan base. I love them. I love them. I feel so bad that I talked so poorly about them last week. They were so positive about this loss. They were cheering this team on all the way at the end of the game.
7:04They're going to the tunnel games over. They lost. They're cheering this team on. They love this team. I think this playoff run, even though it wasn't long, sets the tone for next year. I think they're going to get some guys back. I think they need to find a way to keep Rico Dowd all around. Yeah, they have to keep Rico Dowd. I think they will, though, because one thing that I'm noticing is on the Lions, Alex Anzalone just turned down deals from, I think it was like the Jets and the Raiders. And Jameer Gibbs turned down money and was like, or like in an interview, he said, like, I live and die in Detroit.
7:37Like, this is it for me. And I feel like when players are at good organizations, they don't want to be a Tyreek Hill who's laughing when he tears his ACL because then maybe he gets to be out of Miami. Yeah. You know, and like we don't know if that's actually why he was laughing when he tore his ACL, but it didn't seem like he wanted to be there. And so I feel like if players like the team that they're on and like the regime that they're in, they're likely to turn down other offers. And I can't understand why Rico Doudo would leave. Like leaving right now seems very silly to me. He didn't get as many touches as he wanted.
8:07Yeah. I did see that he like said something about he didn't, I think he didn't get as many touches as he wanted maybe yesterday and the past couple of weeks. I could see him being kind of pissed about that, but if they give him money, he'll stay and he like needs to. So I don't know. There's an argument for them to pay him out. And there's also an argument for them to find somebody, somebody else there. There's a lot of talent. So they could probably figure it out without him, but he was so vital, especially like mid season. He got into the playoffs, you know, whether you want to admit that or not, late in the season, maybe didn't as much, didn't do as much, but he was really necessary for this team.
8:44And yeah, I think it's going to be interesting to see what they look like next year after a short little run like this. I think the Rams are pretty legit, but I do think the bears are going to be a real challenge. I have kind of felt like the Rams are a little bit fraudulent all year. They keep squeaking by. I went through a phase where I really respected them. I went through a phase where I really doubted them. They're here. I could see them going to the Super Bowl. I could also see them getting knocked out. It's hard for me to even like have good 2020 vision with what's next for them. All I know is that Colby Parkinson is the real deal.
9:23Puka is obviously insane. Devontae Adams is ridiculous and he's back. So, I mean, it's just like lights out. And I know that Matthew Stafford is probably going to win the MVP. He won this game again and found a way. And at the end of the day, if you're winning games, it's really all that matters. And he can sling that thing. Like I get, it wasn't perfect. I know it wasn't his best performance ever, but it was another MVP moment. The Colby Parkinson touchdown, like, you can't deny that this guy is going to win MVP, especially after, I don't know. You see Drake may yesterday who had a good game, but like, that's the other close contender.
9:59It feels like is Drake and Matthew Stafford. And I feel like the two aren't even comparable. Like Matthew Stafford has to win that award. Yeah. I think if you put them in a vacuum though, like we were chatting last week and it's like the age thing, like Matt Stafford might not be able to get, like he's on the out, but Drake is so young. And so like, what's more impressive being this good in your whatever 14th year or bringing what five and 12 team and winning a playoff game. Yeah. I mean, it's true. That's a great point, honestly. It is a great point, but I do think Stafford's had overall the better year.
10:38And I think they're going to have a deeper run. I think either both of these teams get knocked out in the divisional round, or I think the Rams are going to have the better run. I think the Patriots might be cooked, to be honest. Really? Yeah, I do. I feel like they have, this is kind of on vibes alone, but I feel like they have the young and spunky mindset you know like they're the hot young girl who like walks in and like it's kind of aloof and it's just like hey i'm just like here to have fun and then wins everything and you're like you're miss america like what is happening now so genuinely and i feel like the reason why i think that the patriots could do better is i feel like the the patriots office an entire front office an organization is like stone clad is that is that a saying stone clad yeah yeah i feel like they they have it on luck.
11:29Like they knew what they were doing when Brady was there. They had like a full rebuild. And so it's not only like the team that's prepared. It's like everybody in that building is really prepared. And that's why I think that the team is able to just like have a really good time and have really good energy and vibes and go in and win. But yeah, I mean, the Rams are good. You know, like I'm not calling out the Rams saying that they're bad, but I don't think that there as like dominant. I wasn't impressed. I'll say that. Yeah. They should have won that game. It should have been a blowout. I wasn't impressed.
12:05Of course they won, but like, I don't know. Yeah. Like squeaking by, did you hear that apparently Matt Stafford right before the last play said, let's rip these guys hearts out. Yeah. It's kind of badass coming from his mouth, you know, like he's an older guy, like, you know, apparently, you know, he kind of seems like one of those more button up guys he had the dog in him yesterday like he had to win that game he knew that I don't know I just think the pressure's on him he's getting older like if he doesn't win the Super Bowl this year when's the next time he's gonna get that opportunity it feels like it's his to take and I he's got that dog in him you know I mean he knows what he's doing he's experienced he's a great quarterback quarterbacks alone can't win games and I love to mention that Dak Prescott had the most passing yards as a quarterback and they didn't even make it to the playoffs.
13:00So like quarterbacks alone can't win. But I think the Matt Stafford is like pretty lights out quarterback, like age aside. He just like plays a good game. Like he knows what to do and when to do it. And he's super cool under pressure. And you don't see that really that often. I think a big win this week would be huge for the Rams. I think they haven't been the same since the Thursday night loss to the Seahawks. I think that game actually wrecked the momentum for them. And so I think if they can come back this week and like blow up the Bears, it'll be like a huge shift in momentum. And then if they do that, I could see them going all the way to the Super Bowl.
13:34Yeah, no doubt. OK, let's talk about the Bears Packers. I didn't want to watch it like this game was annoying to me because I didn't want to watch a division rivalry in the playoffs because there's so much more on the line in a division game than there is in any other game ever. ever like the fans show up differently the experience is different it's about pride it's like not just about getting to the next playoff spot like the Rams and the Panthers like that game doesn't matter except for that it's in the playoffs but like yeah Packers Bears really matters especially being Matt LaFleur versus Ben Johnson which apparently they have beef duh they have like the most beef of all time I don't I don't know about their yeah but like why Well, Ben Johnson, so Ben Johnson hates Matt LaFleur.
14:22His like, you know, opening press, season opening press conference. He talked about like, you know, my favorite thing to do was beat the Packers twice a year with the Lions. So he was like, that was my favorite thing to do, beating Matt LaFleur twice a year. And so he like set the tone, like pretty much F the Packers from the get-go. F LaFleur, like from the get-go. Hates him. Then they've had this weird handshake thing. Like if you go on TikTok and look at how they like, go look up Matt. Yeah, it's like the shoulders. Like they like hand shake shoulder by and it's super quick. Like, you know, most of the time you're making eye contact, you're being respectful.
14:59They cannot stand each other. Obviously this is a huge, huge, huge rivalry. The Bears are so, so bought into this hatred. I feel like, I don't know. There is an argument that the Packers like hate the Bears as much as the Bears hate the Packers, but it really feels like this season, at least the Bears hate the Packers way more than the Packers hate the Bears. Yeah. Like the cheese grater hats, the grating the cheese, like on Thursday night football, it's a lot. And then you see Ben Johnson in the locker room after the win. F the Packers, I effing hate them. Like going at it. It's just ridiculous because these are grown ass men.
15:36Yeah. You know, it's just kind of crazy, but I also kind of like it. Yeah. I go back and forth with Ben Johnson where I'm like, sometimes I'm kind of like, you're kind of douchey. But other times I'm like, I respect how into this you are and how amped up you're getting your guys. Like, I think as a player, that would be pretty fun to have a coach that's that into it. Yeah. Yeah. I, I kind of like it. Like, I, I love Ben Johnson because I love the way that Ben Johnson coached the Lions and I'm a Lions fan. So I feel like bought into whatever Ben Johnson is doing. I wanted to know, like, I was wondering, like, was there beef that I didn't know about?
16:14because I couldn't find any between Ben and Matt, but it's just like, it's just like the, it's just the rivalry, which is good to know. Someone asked, I think someone asked Matt LaFleur. It was either, I think someone asked Matt LaFleur, I'll fact check me on this. They asked him, like, did you know Ben Johnson prior to this season? Or do you know, like, have you guys ever, do you know each other well? And he was like, I don't know him literally at all. Like they have no, they have no prior beef besides the fact that they have been rival. I mean, like, you know, team, like the team rivalry thing, but it's not like they know each other.
16:49It's not like one of them did the other one dirty. It just all started with this Ben Johnson, you know, Matt LaFleur. I don't like you. I want to beat him twice a year type of thing. So it's funny. I really haven't heard Matt say much about it. Yeah. So I don't know. It's like it feels kind of random, but it also makes sense because, yeah, these teams like genuinely hate each other. Yeah. I think also probably one of the reasons why it's been exacerbated is that when Ben Johnson went in with the Bears, like you have to, when you're going in as a new coach, like a, he was very welcome to the Bears.
17:28Like the Bears were, and the Bears community was so excited to have him. But then once you get into the actual locker room, like you have to connect with these guys on something. And given that the Lions hate the Packers, even though the Packers don't hate the Lions as much as the Lions hate the Packers, Like that's a one way rivalry because the Lions have been bad for so long. But then like the Packers Bears rivalry. So he probably went in and realized like this is a point of connection. Oh, yeah. With the guys on the Bears. And so I think that that's why it's been pulled. And then obviously it draws media.
17:58But I think that Ben Johnson can be a douche. But I think that if you're going to do anything truly, truly great ever, you have to be like a little delusional. And you have to like kind of be a little insane sometimes. and like that's how Ben Johnson is in the second round of the playoffs in his first season as a head coach like if he didn't have that like I don't I don't know if you can like be Mr. Nice guy no you know you can't definitely can't it's just funny because like a lot of the times in college football you'll see programs that have like this much beef and kind of like this much drama in the NFL you really like you obviously have the teams that can't stand each other and stuff but between coaches, you really don't see this a whole lot.
18:39Yeah. And so, I mean, as someone who's, like, not a fan of either of those teams, it's fun to watch. It's, like, adds to the reality TV element of football. Yeah. So, I personally don't mind it. I think it's kind of fun. I also think the Bears are ridiculous in the way that they continue to come back in the fourth quarter. It's insane. A comeback is a strategy, is a horrible strategy, and very stressful. I know. It's working. Like, they have a deal with psychiatrists so that they can prescribe more anxiety medication, I swear. Because the fans are going through it. Yeah, no, the fans are definitely going through it.
19:19And Caleb Williams is 100 % going through it. Did you see him during the game when he just like totally lost his shit? Yeah, I also love that. You lost his shit. The drama. The drama. Well, that again goes back into the whole thing with the Bears right now. It's like they're just a really invested emotional team. And I think you either love it or you hate it or you connect to it or you don't, but it feels very much like a college team in that way where there's like so much grit, so much emotion. You've got Caleb on the sideline, losing his mind, Ben Johnson, ripping his shirt off in the locker room.
19:54It's been the craziest season for them, but they keep finding ways to win. And it's also fun because they're a really young team. like they've got some great I mean Colston Loveland breakout game for him you I mean he is so cute so everyone loves him yeah but he's also so young like this team Caleb and Colston and it's like they have these guys that are new and fresh and they just feel very gritty in that way where like they're resilient and the fact that they're youthful and they're not banged up quite yet they're like still in the fearless phase where like nothing is no team is scary to them yet like they got this also younger head coach like ben johnson i think is like 45 but he also like has a really young energy and then yeah you have the younger guys and like they haven't it's like they haven't had the rug pulled yet and i don't like even now like they're not gonna get they're in the playoffs they're going to the next round and back to the youthful thing it's like you go into the fourth quarter, like down 21 to six or whatever it was, score touchdowns on three consecutive drives.
21:01Like that is only something you could do if you are like young and you have the energy and you have the faith in your team that you're going to like get there. And that almost feels like a very youthful, like innocence is bliss type of thing that worked out. Like it's insane that they were able to win that game. I was literally like tapped out of the game, you know going into the fourth quarter I was like all right it's kind of over whatever then they start coming back I'm like holy shit yeah it got it got crazy it got it was insane yeah I'm proud of them the Packers lost that game is I like I cannot believe they lost that game they had a hard time like during the whole like I don't know how however many games they've lost like five straight games they've had a hard time finishing like they are not they're like the opposite of the Bears like they can put it up in the beginning and not at the end totally yeah that is such a good comparison yeah yeah yeah and like speaking of the young players like Romo Dunze on the Bears insane super young yeah but the I didn't I didn't think the Packers had much of a place in the playoffs to be honest really I just don't think they were playing well enough like they were they were fine but I think that they were middle of the pack and they ended kind of upper middle of the pack.
22:17I think that the Lions blew it this season, that the Lions should have been in that spot and they blew it. And so then the Packers got to go, but I don't think that the Packers were a good enough team to have expectations of going further in the playoffs this season. I think they have the ingredients, but I don't think they were able to put it together enough this season to like play the Rams. I think if they played the Panthers, they would have lost. I think if they played the Jags, they would have lost. Yeah. Yeah, speaking of, let's go to the Jags. Recap the rest of them, and then we'll get into our ins and outs.
22:50This one broke my heart into a million pieces. I was so sad. Yeah, that game was one of those where I was like, I felt like such a girl watching it. I was like, I really love Josh Allen, and I want to see him win. But, like, the Trevor Lawrence of it all, like, and their season, and they also have a rookie head coach. And I was, like, fully on the Jags. Like, I kind of got into a point where I, like, don't really care for the Bills, to be honest. No, okay. I've never really admitted that to anyone. So I feel like this is therapy. Yeah. I just like, don't really like the bills. Maybe it's because I watched their hard knocks this year.
23:26And like, I just wasn't really convinced by their whole thing. I just really wasn't, you know? And Josh Allen is obviously epic. He balled out. He's the hero and this, the superhero and the, you know, like gladiator or whatever that the media like has always portrayed him to be. but come on. They won on the tush push. That's his O-line. The 10-foot tush push. Yeah, that's his O-line, by the way, though. Like, that's not, we don't need to be, like, singing Josh Allen's praises. That was his O-line. Yeah. He had a great game, though. I mean, I'm not gonna, like, sit here and say that he's a bad player.
24:01I just, I'm kind of over the Bills, and I think the reason why is because I've seen them fail on so many occasions in the playoffs against, like, you know, the Chiefs and, like, you know, the big, The big dogs who aren't in the playoffs this year. Yeah. And so if there's a year for them to go to the Super Bowl, obviously it's this year. He doesn't have to worry about Mahomes, his number one op. But I don't know. I'm just like not totally bought in to their whole vibe. This is also Sean McDermott's first playoff win. How insane is that? That is crazy. And this is their first road playoff win in 30 years.
24:40First road playoff win. But yes, like what? Yeah. It's like, it's like, we've been calling them so good for the last like three, four years, but like, are they? That's how I feel. I just feel like this team is really pumped up to be like better than they are. I don't know. I feel like we should be pumping. No, because Josh Allen is so easy to root for because he's hot. He has a hot wife. He's really kind. And he went into Buffalo and he changed that organization. And I went to Buffalo and I interviewed a lot of girls there and I said who's your favorite player and there was like two girls that mentioned other players but everybody mentioned Josh Allen's name like they in Bill's Mafia is obsessed with Josh Allen as they should be he's he is the guy like he has changed the program he's elite he's an elite quarterback he's up there with the greats we're gonna remember him forever.
25:38There's just something as a whole with the team that I feel like is missing. And I kind of feel like, I don't know. I kind of feel like they're not going to make it to the Superbowl even this year without their, you know, the chiefs warfare with the chiefs. Yeah. Right. Yeah. I feel like we should be putting, we should be taking a lot of the bills hype and putting it on the Seahawks because the Seahawks know why is no one talking? I mean, I know the Seahawks are obviously like, because they're not playing this week, but like, why are we not freaking out about what's going on at the Seahawks? Because the Seahawks are terrifying.
26:13And the Texans, the F-ing Texans, there are so many things that I would face. I would face a man on a mountain in the dark before I would face the Texans defense. They're scary. In those red uniforms. With the Seahawks and the Texans, they both have elite, elite defense. Elite. The thing that they're both missing is like the star quarterback factor. Like Sam Darnold and CJ Stroud, they can get it done. All they have to do, all they have to do is take care of the ball. That's literally it. They don't need to overcomplicate it. I just want to like make sure that there's nothing too crazy going on on offense for both of those teams.
26:55Because their defenses will win the games for them. They need to have a moderate day on offense, both of them. the Texans have my heart. I want the Texans to go all the way. I think they deserve it too. Like, I don't, I don't even think like I say a lot on vibes and like, that's how I like to watch the NFL is like, how do I feel about it? Yeah. And like, what, yeah, like what is my gut saying? Like I, I know that CJ Stroud is not the best quarterback in the NFL, but I don't care because teams win games. People don't win games. Teams win games. And like their vibe is good and their energy is good.

27:33And you know what I'm obsessed with about them actually that I literally think about every single day is they have the best defense in the league and they're not hurting other teams. Like they are not playing aggressively in an aggression for aggression's sake way. Like you see other defenses play aggressively and it's like a mean aggression. and their aggression is like safe and their aggression is in the right place at the right time. And there's like nothing hotter than that, than like can use your strength for good, to make plays, to keep your team in a good spot and for nothing else. Like we're not hearing crazy stuff about Texas.
28:10Yeah. And I'm obsessed with that. And I think that deserves to go all the way. The thing with the Seahawks and the Texans is that they feel like pretty complete teams. And I also felt that way back to this team. I felt that way about the Jags. I felt like they were such a complete team. I agree. But the one thing that hurt them was their quarterback. And so back to CJ and Sam, it's like you have to take care of the ball. Trevor Lawrence was a problem. And it's like so sad to see because he was so elite in college. And like, I really wanted this to be his year. And like, I have to stand up for the Jags because like they just don't have that many fans.
28:48And I just love Trevor Lawrence. And like, I really wanted it to be good. and I love Liam Cohen. And like, I just wanted this to be, they have Etienne and Parker Washington. Like it just felt like a good time for them to win this game. And it was all Trevor Lawrence's fault. Yeah, his rating over the weekend was 86.4, three touchdowns, two interceptions, 207 yards, which is a real, I feel like this game was not representative of his last games though. Because if you look at his last numbers, December 14th, granted at the Jets, 330 yards, five touchdowns, 136 passer rating that might be as i think that's his best game ever and then next week at denver 279 yards three touchdowns zero interceptions 115.4 passer rating indiana had a rough game zero touchdowns one interception 263 yards and then versus tennessee again who cares but like 255 yards three touchdowns zero interceptions 131 on the passer rating and so like overall take care of the ball in the playoffs you have to take care of like he deserved to lose the game you can't make mistakes and I think that's what honestly separates the playoffs so much from the regular season is like when you make mistakes that other team is going to capitalize on those mistakes and win the game yeah yeah yeah and that almost happened to the Rams too sorry I'm all over the place but that the Rams made a lot of mistakes too and I think that's why they almost lost the Like they're, they're a messy winner.
30:16I think that's it. Yeah. And Sean McVay can sometimes be like a weird tick-holler, but whatever. He is a wild, like Sean McVay was made for wild card as a title. Yes. Yes. Literally. We want to thank our sponsors over at Cuso Cuts. Cuso Cuts is seasoning blends and sauces that are absolutely to die for. Bill's Mafia uses them. I use them. They make cooking easy and delicious. Thank you to Kusos. We really appreciate your sponsorship and support here at the game. Okay. Let's do Chargers Patriots really quick. Cause there's not really that much to talk about. Oh, such a yawn snooze. I was so bored during this game. I literally on, I was on my way to celebrate my brother's birthday dinner and I'm like, watch the first half of the game. And I posted, look, this has been the best wild card weekend ever.
31:37Like truly like I posted something on that. And then I look, I'm like at dinner, I like pull out my phone to like, look at it. And I'm like, what? Like, this is so not what happened this whole weekend. Like they did not get the, they did not get the text. No. Yeah. No. It's like when you go out and all of your friends are wearing heels and you wear sneakers. The best thing that came out of the Chargers Patriots game is Cardi B's video from last night where she goes, take them to Tulum, put them on Delta. She goes, take them to Tulum, put them on Delta about, about the Chargers, like send them, they need to go on vacation because their season's over bitches.
32:12It was so funny. I am so obsessed with her like, you know, post game reaction and stuff. You have to go watch that video. I'm like sitting with the Patriots owner. Oh, I know. Like hilarious. She's iconic. Yeah. She's so funny. But yeah, that killed me. I, I am really happy the Patriots won. I have had a really hard time rooting for the Chargers ever since Justin Herbert ran away from Laura Rutledge. I don't know why, but that just like really left a bad taste in my mouth. And like, honestly, I love Drake May so much. I think he is super legit. And I don't know. I, I understand the sentiment of being tired of the Patriots because of like, you know, they've won so many times, but it's, it's a new era.
32:55So like may the best team win. That's kind of my outlook on the playoffs. I'm like, I just want to see good football. I don't care. It's for example, if the chiefs were in it, I'd be happy because like, they'd be playing well. I don't really care how many super bowls you've won or what position you're in. Like, yeah, I just want to see the best teams going at it. Yeah. I want to see like a good game. I want it to come down to the fourth quarter. I want to see who gets messy, who can keep it together. Yeah. Like I want to watch a good game. I love overtime. I love overtime. Love overtime. Hate a tie.
33:28Free football. Yeah. Yeah. Like a tie should end in the death, like a duel, not a tie. But I love overtime, which even I feel like, I don't know. Even when my team's in overtime, I'm like, this is hot, you know? Yeah. It's the best. You like really have to win it. It's the best. It was a big one. It felt like a very marquee win for Ray Ball and for Drake May. And like, it just felt, it was a boring game, but I'm happy the Patriots won. They have to play the Texans or the Steelers. And I honestly think the Texans are going to win tonight. But if they play the Texans, I'm like, ooh, I'm going to be, I'm going to be like scared.
34:08I'm a little worried for Aaron. Why? Because I just don't want him to get hurt. Why are you worried about him? Because he's playing the Texans tonight. I don't care about Aaron Rodgers at all. I just don't want to see anybody get hurt. I also don't care about Aaron Rodgers, really. Like, oh my God, I can't. I do feel like. Do you think we're going to see his wife? His wife? No. I don't think we're ever going to know who she is. Yeah, I know. I'm like, if there's a time for Aaron Rodgers' wife to reveal herself. It's now. It's now. What if she walks out in like a full. What if she pulls an Aaron Andrews and walks out in one of those coats?
34:47I would die. I would die. And then Aaron goes over and like kisses her. Oh my God. That'd be such an iconic moment in football. I hope it happens. I feel like we have to figure out who this woman is at some point. We will eventually. Julie, like somebody is going to see them at some private resort in Cancun, take a picture. Honestly, though. OK, so I like I would put my money on the Texans to win this game. Honestly, I wouldn't even be surprised if the Steelers. No, I know. That's so annoying. It's weird. I think it's hard for me to tell in the playoffs, like usually in the regular season, I feel like I can make pretty accurate predictions, not in the playoffs.
35:19Like it is these games have been close. Like anything can happen. You're pulling out all the stops to win this game. I genuinely have no idea what's going to happen. But regardless, the Patriots are going to have to play either of those teams. But we're either going to see Drake May versus the Texans defense, or we're going to see Aaron Rodgers versus Drake May, like two completely different quarterbacks. I would die just to see the, like, the interaction. It feels like off. Like, they don't feel like they're in the same league. Like, it seems like different sports to me. Like, Aaron Rodgers versus Drake May.
35:54What? Like, no. I know. Can you imagine? I would like die. It would be fun. It would be fun, but I would be so sad for the Texans. Yeah. I can't wait to watch this game today. Okay. Let's talk just super quickly about 49ers Eagles. I really feel like I knew the 49ers were going to win like that one. I really wasn't worried about. I hate people talking smack on the Eagles at this point because I'm like the Eagles had a rough season. They like weren't like they weren't clean. They weren't cohesive. But I'm like, it's OK. Like some people just have a little rough patch. Like everyone relax. It's fine.
36:32They didn't have a cohesive season. There's something going on with Jalen and the offense. They'll figure it out. It's OK. They won the Super Bowl and then they didn't bounce back. Like it's all fine. The Niners were a better team. We already knew that. Like we don't have to be so mean. That's where you and me are different, Victoria, because like I have been preying on the demise of the Eagles since the start of the season, since they beat the Cowboys. We should have won that game. That was actual bullshit. I hate the Eagles. I'm obviously a Cowboys fan. So I was hardcore rooting for the Niners.
37:06I was surprised by this. Like I, in my heart, obviously I really wanted the Niners to go based off vibes. So I'm, you know, I go into the game, feeling confident in the Niners, but there was definitely a piece of me thinking like the Niners are so banged up, so injured. I don't know how they're going to compare to the Eagles defense. For example, the Eagles do have a good defense. I was worried about that. Obviously, Saquon's going to be an issue. Like I, there were things that I was very worried about in this game. I thought the Eagles had a very fair shot to win and I'm so, so glad they did it.
37:40One, because they're not fun to watch. I'm not that interested in anything that they've done on offense this year. They have to fire their offensive coordinator. He's not good enough. They got to move on. And two, I'm happy they're not there because I don't like them. I just don't. I don't like them. I don't like them. And obviously something that I haven't really heard anybody talk about, there's been a lot of drama with the Eagles this year, you know, players and coaches and players with players. It's just been so like the energy has been so bad between everyone, not even going to name names.
38:17Just like it's been, it's been bad energy between like, it's, I'm just saying, it's not just AJ Brown. Like obviously everyone's going to go and think about that immediately, but like it, Sirianni throwing a fit on the sideline, like with AJ, I'm like, this is not cohesive. Like this is not team energy. This is not like what you want to see in a team. That's like trying to get to the Super Bowl. You have to be on the same page. Like, you cannot, you can't do this. Yeah, like this is a mess. Get it together. It's a mess. Like, you don't deserve to be here, to be honest. I feel like I'm watching like 90 Day Fiance with them.
38:54It's just like full chaos. Nobody's getting along. You're super confused the whole time. People are getting upset out of nowhere. Soap opera type shit. And it's like, just tell us what's going on. Like, if you're going to be this messy and people are going to talk about you like this, like, can you just not, like, can you not just like tell me what's happening? Yeah. Yeah. Someone get in that locker room. It's been so much drama. It's been so much drama on that team. And I'm like, honestly, I'm glad it's over for all. I'm, I'm not an Eagles fan. I don't like the Eagles, but like for those players, I'm glad it's over.
39:26Like, I think everyone needs to just step away. They need to go to Tulum. Get some space. And like, everybody needs to go do a Zen retreat, like Aaron Rodgers, you know, go to the middle of nowhere, some ashwagandha. and like let's start fresh next year let's start yeah the whole yeah they should do something i'm so happy for the niners though on a on a nicer note i'm so happy for san francisco yes i think that is one of the coolest playoff wins of all time losing kiddle lose i mean they have no one like their d-line everyone is injured and they still find a way to win this game and it's so it's so easy to root for them right now it's so easy to root for them right now and like brock had a bad day but they still found a way to win and he was like super resilient like through picks and bumble like he wasn't good and still he found a way to like keep it up win the game yeah they are the opposite of the eagles they are like you know a unit yes yeah like no matter what happens like the guys got the other guys like third string guys doesn't matter Like they can step up and I literally can't say enough good stuff about them.
40:34My favorite play of the entire weekend was Juwan Jennings throwing the touchdown pass to McCaffrey. I think that was like perfectly executed because really nobody saw it coming. Christian McCaffrey is like obviously one of the best of all times in every capacity. So if you're going to throw to someone like throw to him because he's going to be able to get the freaking ball and just so iconic. and like a nice little like cherry on top of like essentially a really rough game. And I think Kittle going out, like Kittle is such an energy and presence that him going out, like the whole team, like whatever they've programmed into their brain during game day is amazing.
41:17It's like has to be terrifying to other teams because if you have a George Kittle go out in another game, like when Aiden Hutchinson went out, the Lions fans, like we could not get it together. the fans we were like heartbroken yeah and sort of like see george go out with a fucking achilles like and achilles is so bad it's so bad and for them to be able to then like do that trick play and keep everyone engaged and keep the fans momentum yeah so i'm really proud of them says something about shanahan one and two i think just when you go all season with injury after injury after injury. You can just like piecemeal together something and it's going to work.
41:58And their coaching staff is unreal. Mike Shanahan for coach of the year, please. Like, I think he's better than Ben Johnson with what he's working with. It's amazing. Like it's genuinely, I want to know what's going on at practice in these meetings. How are they doing this? It's like witchcraft straight up. It's crazy. Yeah. Actually, I hadn't really thought about coach of the year, but I do think that he deserves coach of the year because. Yeah. Kyle should win. Whatever is going on over there is incredible. Incredible. Can't say enough good stuff about it. Yeah. Okay. Let's move on. I want to do some cool girls doing cool things report for women around the NFL.
42:40So a Michigan State University gymnast, Nikki Smith, stuck her vault and then did the St. Brown headstand celebration. So that's like going super viral queen. Can you imagine being able to do that? I'd be, I'd be hitting that at the club if I could do that. Yeah. Me and 20. What, when did I go to college? 2013, 2013 in a club. Yeah. I wasn't a Lions fan yet then, but iconic. Yeah. So epic. So epic. I love that. Yeah. Simone Biles getting her moment. Simone Biles is everywhere right now and I'm obsessed. I will take any opportunity to bring up Simone Biles. She looked so good at the game. And she came off of her photography last week.
43:26The fit was so good. It was so good. Because she looked like so hot and like she could go anywhere and then she turns around and Jonathan's on the back and like such a clear photo. I mean, obviously she's going to do like the best of the best, but yeah, so iconic. And her, she's like so giggly and fun, but she's equally like badass and like won't let anybody mess with her and i just i love that she's leaning into it without losing her like individuality because i feel like sometimes we can see wags who like really become like their partners like they're like a package and simone is like still keeping her like individuality and maybe that's just because she is simone biles but i think that the way she's doing it is absolutely iconic i love everything that she's doing obsessed with her outfit yesterday.
44:09I just really can't get enough of it. She killed. She looked so good. Sandra Douglas makes history as the first and only black woman president of an NFL team. And of which Las Vegas Raiders. Whoa, that is going to change the Raiders for sure. That's sick. That is honestly, also, she's an absolute queen. She's stunning. obsessed with her. I'll do a report on like what's going on with her on social. Okay. I'm Googling her right now. She's so cute. She's so cute. I'm so excited for her. Yeah. Well, yeah, we'll have to do some more digging on her, but congrats. Yes. Kylie Kelsey covering the winter Olympics.
44:54Duh. Insane. I'm obsessed with everything she's doing. And I love that she's also another woman, like really standing on her own two feet. For sure. She is, I guess she's probably such a lights out business person. Like being in a business meeting with her, scary and awesome. Yeah. She does it all. She does it all. Haley Steinfeld is in the movie Sinners, which won two Golden Globes. Is that what they're called? Golden Globes? Yeah. You win a Golden Globe at the Golden Globes? Yeah. Won two last night. So Josh and Haley had a huge day yesterday because A, they got married. They're pregnant. Hailey wins with the show, not on her own, but with the show, two Golden Globes.
45:34And the Bills win. So what a weekend. I loved her rocking the baby bump on the red carpet. She looked so cute. I loved her outfit. She just looked like very like erythral. She has a great red carpet look, always. Yeah, I also - Always looks great. She's the most beautiful woman on the face of the earth. Literally. Yeah, so she is winning there. and then sad one to end on, but Chloe Kim, Miles Garrett's girlfriend was training for the Winter Olympics and dislocated her shoulder. So everyone, yeah, she posted on social media. It was like a little, like silly little fall. Yeah. So it's TBD. She hasn't posted an update yet, but four days ago, she posted that she dislocated her shoulder on a fall.
46:20So everyone send your good vibes. I know. Wait, prayers up. That makes me so sad. I love her. I know. She's so cool. She's so cool. Damn. So give her good vibes because you can't like Matt Stafford dislocated his shoulder when he was playing for the Lions, popped it back in and finished the game. So you never know. I think that it's possible to go back. You never know. You never know. You never know. Okay. The most exciting part that I, we have to do is our ins and outs. I'm so excited to hear what it's on your ins and outs list. Do you want to go first with like one in one out? Yeah. Okay. Okay.
46:55I said, and this is way more for college, but like, I just have to, first thing that comes to mind is loyalty to your team. Like, stay loyal. Don't be so obsessed with the NIL money. Stay loyal to your team. Coach, player, there is no loyalty in college football anymore. And it pisses me off. That's my number one in. Loyalty is hot and leaving. Yeah. Yeah. Honestly, the NIL, like, I think that there's so many good things that have come from, like, players getting representation and players making money off of their name and their success. Like, that is all really good. But the transfer portal is out of hand.
47:37It's just too much. Like, and the coaching situation, it's just too much where you have, you know, Lane Kiffin having to leave Ole Miss before they go to the playoffs. And then it's just too much. Like there's no loyalty to a team. And I don't even blame really the players or the coaches. It's more like the, the system, the system. There are so many problems in college football and like, and nobody can be loyal anymore because if you want the better deal, you have to do it in the middle of the season. If you're a coach, it's just horrible. I can't stand it. I'm tired of it. I want to see coaches just like stay at the school that they're doing well at too.
48:13Put a woman in charge and she'll fix it. Yeah, I'm sure. I'm sure. Okay. This one that I have is funny given our conversation, but Ben Johnson is my in, so I won't ram it in, but I like that he's being boisterous. I like that he's being excited. I think that you should celebrate wins as they come. And if you're a little insane, like it was the heat of the moment, you didn't hurt anybody. If you're hurting people, not okay. You're excited. I'm into it. And it's so funny that he fell over. No, I think it's great. I think it's great. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Give me an out. I think the tush push is so out for me.
48:47I'm just so over it. I hate the tush push. I hate it. I know it's unavoidable and I get, you have to do it, but I'm just tired of it. It's boring and I don't like it. Yeah. I'm bored of talking about it. Like, I don't really care about the play. I'm bored of seeing it. Like, I don't want to see it anymore. It's like not, uh, it just feels like such a like easy way out to me. What if we just make that? Like, what if the out is just like not getting the half yard that you should have gotten? Yeah. I don't know. It's just like, yeah, just get, get the first out. Do your freaking job. I hate the touch push.
49:23That's so funny. Okay. My out is head coaching interviews during the playoffs. I don't care. I'm busy. I'm busy thinking about Matt Stafford and Drake May and Ben Johnson and Kayla Williams and the Texans defense. I don't care where you're interviewing. So stop. Get out of my inbox. I don't care. I feel that. Let that happen in the postseason where there's nothing going on. I don't want coaches. Like it seems so unfair that offensive coordinators of playoff teams have to get on an effing plane to fly to meet your bad team that didn't get there to interview with you. it's just like it's ridiculous I just it's a hate it's like a real hate like I don't want to see it I don't care yet I'll care after the season is over but I don't think that these negotiations should be allowed to be had because it does take away from the teams in the playoffs which is a bummer to me because why are we overextending these incredible coaches who deserve to be able to like do their jobs well because also like what their future is on the line with what happens in the playoffs so yeah that's my out I'm with you on that I feel that That's honestly a good point.
50:28I'll really fight that one for a while. For the last time this season, my in is the Panthers. I've had them for the last like four weeks. I'm really proud of them. I know that they're out, but they were in this weekend. They were, and they've never been talked about in such a positive light. I've never been proven right in sports so much as to the Panthers doing good on my name. I loved watching them. It was such a good time. I'm going to talk about them until next week's games. I love it. I love it. I think that's great. Yeah. I think that's, they're great. They're a cute team. We love them. We do.
51:01They're cute. Yeah. They're sweet. Yeah. They're very sweet. Agreed. I wish they were still in, but they're out. They're out. We'll put them on both. Okay. Is it my turn to do an in? Yeah. My in right now is Jackson Dart and Marissa Ayers. I don't know if you saw their hard launch, but like they're hot. So hot. They are hot. So hot. I couldn't have dreamt up a better girl for Fox and Dart either. Like he's full on like a TikTok, like internet type of dude. Yes. Yeah. And like, so she's like an internet chick. Like they're like influencer couple-y. Like they feel like house-y to me. Yeah. They're a dream couple.
51:44They're like Barbie and Ken. They're so hot. I'm dying for the hard launch. It was so good. It was so, didn't it say something like they haven't even been together that long or something like that? And then it's just like, like secrets out or something. And there was like a ton of photos. And it was like all these like, honestly, like huge, like PDA moments that I was living through. I was like, this is, if I had photos of me and my boyfriend looking like that, they'd be plastered all over the internet. Like they'd be everywhere. So I'm really happy for him. I'm really happy for her. I think they're a great couple.
52:16I think they are too. I'm excited to like watch them keep dating. I can't wait to see her on the sidelines next year. LFG. I hope they stay together. This is like a lifestyle out, but an out for me is when like a couple with no kids, you go into their house and they have a gallery wall, but it's only them. And so you have like 25 of them staring at you and it's just, Oh God, that's so cheesy. I hate that. I know there are some girls who have that, so I'm sorry, but it freaks me out when I like walk into your entryway and it's like not your dog. It's like just them. But it's like 100 of their wedding photos.
52:50That's so cheesy. It's crazy. I hate that. I hate that. Oh. Yeah. My next in is Kyle Shanahan. We already talked about him a bunch, so we don't have to talk about him more, but he is on the ends list this week. He's so like, and all the girls think he's so hot. Yeah. You know who I think is hot and it's annoying that I think he's hot? Yeah. Matt LaFleur. Oh, yeah. He's a good looking guy. Yeah, he's like attractive. I don't blame you for that. And I'm like, I just wish he wasn't. It'd be so much easier to hate the Packers more. But like also the girls of the Packers are so – they're like – they're some of the nicest girls in our like group chats and stuff.
53:28And I'm like, I hated the Packers, but now like you have a hot head coach and the girls are cool. Like maybe I don't. They have a good fan base. They do have a good fan base. But it's because there's nothing to do in Wisconsin. No offense. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. on my outs list on the same team, George Kittle's Achilles. Oh, it's out. I wonder if he's like going to be able to come back. I think he will. I don't know. He's like getting old. I don't know. It's going to, I, yeah. Achilles is rough, but Aaron Rogers came back from an Achilles and is now in the playoffs. So I'm not worried about that.
54:03That's true. That's true. That's true. And George Kittle has like the positive vibes. Like his vibes are higher than most people's vibes, you know, like overall energy. So fine. And Claire will help him. Yeah. Claire, what a fucking baddie. I love her. She will help him. I love that she's so herself online. Like not that many people can be that themselves online. No, she's so cute. And out for me, back to the Eagles, and out for me is booing your team. When your fan base is booing your team, I just, where's the loyalty? Where's the love? This goes back to me loving the fact that the Panthers fans were like so proud of them for such a great run.
54:41And then the Eagles fans are over here booing. Yeah. I'm like, you guys are, I get it. You're into the game or whatever, but like you just won the Superbowl. Show some grace. Also like booing your own team is so diabolical. Booing your own team? It's so harsh. Just like, I get it. Maybe after the fact being like annoyed with how things went. Like if I was a Eagles fan, I'd be annoyed too at that game and just like the entire performance. But in the moment at this, like be encouraging yeah bring the good vibes yeah the fans lost that game for them yeah it was your fault that's out i hated that that really i hate i hate booing in general it just makes me feel really sad i know it's so like unnecessary like it's really hard to be a lover girl and a like serious sports fan because you just like feel sad feel you feel you just feel a lot you just like have a lot of feel yeah okay i only have one more on each side in Erin Andrews' coat that's breaking the internet.
55:44So good. Because Erin Andrews is already iconic. And then she shows up just like, I feel like that was a moment of hers to just like really like substantiate herself as like, you know, one of the best broadcasters there is. And then also like as a very feminine force. And I really loved that kind of like show of personality and show of confidence from her because she deserves to be confident and she deserves to be like revered as like one of the best broadcasters, if not the best, you know? And so I just loved like everything about it. I thought the energy on it, like the aura around her in that coat is next effing level.
56:21She's that bitch. She is so that bitch. Yeah. She's everything. She looks so good. It's so hard to pull off a coat like that. I know. Yeah. Obsessed. I love her. I stand for everything Erin Andrews does. She's, she's the OG. She's elite. Yeah. She's elite. Yeah. Any other ends for you? My final end. I have a few, but let me think. Oh, my final end just is, this is more of a seasonal thing. This happened throughout the season, but I really love throwback uniforms. Yes. I think the throwback uniform vibe is so lit for any team, any sport. I just love it. it's so cool. The Cowboys always play really bad in their throwback uniforms, but everyone else, the look is there.
57:08I just love, I love the vibe of like anything that pays homage to a little bit of team history is in for me. Yeah. The only one that I think that was bad was the Steelers one. Oh, I liked them. The yellow ones? The bubble. Yes. I know I have a very, like, nobody liked them. I liked them. I thought they were cool. They were very like rugby-esque. I don't know. They were rugby-esque, actually. They're cool. I don't know. They're different. They're cool. Yeah. I feel like if the Steelers were, like, a little burlier, then maybe it would have been better for me. I also liked the Rivalries uniforms.
57:41I thought that was fun. I love the Rivalries. I think, like, switching up, like, just something cool and new is fun. But a throwback uniform is, like, for me, that's top tier. I'm obsessed. Yeah. That's great. That's a really good one. I like that you put that one in there. Okay. My last out, this, like, really gets me inside, and I actually hate it. but the bills apparently are like auctioning off their urinals. What? Yeah, I don't know. It's like a silver, it looks like a watering fountain for cows. It's like literally so disgusting. Yeah, I don't know. Like you have to, I don't know where you can get them, but like I just saw it and it gave me the ick and I scrolled by and I had to put it on my outs because I'm like, we've gone too far.
58:17Bills, relax. The only way that out would turn into an inn is if the money that is spent on the urinals like goes to charity. Like that's literally the only way. I can't even believe I talked about it. Honestly, I'm embarrassed that I even brought it up. I should have kept that one. That should have been an inside thought. I can't wait to do a deep dive. Yeah. You need to interview whoever buys it. I don't think I want to know that person. I don't think they're, I don't think they're my mom. It's like really off brand. My final out is not retiring when you need to. Yeah. Like staying close your time.
58:54When you, when you're old and you, and you have that good note moment, retire. Let it go. Yep. That's all I'm going to say. Rock on, go into your announcer career. Yeah. Like, I think Aaron Rodgers is going to have to retire after this season, so. I think it's his time. Yeah. Let's get him out. Let's get him out. Wow. Well, Ellie, thank you so much for hanging out and yapping with me. I know. That was so fun. It's crazy how fast time flies. I know, time flies. So every week I'm like, I'm going to do first. I know, I know. That's why I started a podcast, so I could just talk all the time. Hey. Yeah.
