In short
The episode is a political rant claiming Trump has lost control of his administration and that Republicans are capitulating to him rather than advising him. It mocks Melania Trump’s White House speech and suggests she’s “taking over” interior projects while Trump is away at “Trumpapalooza.” It alleges authoritarian tactics: FCC pressure on ABC/Jimmy Kimmel to move an interview to YouTube, DOJ/FCC weaponization, and possible USPS and ICE intimidation affecting elections. It also claims Trump is embedded in the Epstein files and that Fox blocks Epstein survivors.
Notable examples

0:49All right, so get a load of this. Trump leaves Washington to go to Trumpapalooza, aka the weird WWE megachurch Republican debauchery where Grindr crashes. Melania goes to Washington, and now she's giving another batshit speech, which she continues to do this. Let's play the clip. The White House stands as an architectural autobiography of America, embodying the enduring values of ambition, democracy, and civic life through its design. craftsmanship, and the objects we tame. Generation after generation. Is Melania at the White House competing with Donald in architecture? I mean, is she competing with him on this?
1:44Like, I thought he was the decorator at the White House. This is, these people are so weird. It's just, and then she pops out at the weirdest times while he's out doing all this crazy stuff, bribing people with$5 ,000 bribes. If you vote Republican, everybody's getting a$5 ,000 check, and she's sitting here taking over his interior design projects. This is just the—I'm speechless a lot of times at what goes on with our government. And this is the First Lady speaking with a pretty distinct Russian accent. I couldn't make out much of what she was saying. Serbian, I think, yeah. Serbian. I couldn't make out much of what she was saying.
2:23saying, and they have these immigration policies, and you're just like, what the fuck moment? It's just like, where the fuck are we? And people in Hugo, Oklahoma, vote for this guy with her and get it? Like, how? Because she's a hot white woman. So that's an approved immigrant. I know, but it's like these family Christian values that they, you know, if we had a president that was married to an immigrant from another country, they would make it somehow that we were linked to terrorists or something. Well, they did that with John Kerry, remember? His wife was an immigrant. And the Republican Party made it a big issue.
3:04But moving along from how weird that architecture, how weird all of that shit is, Trump's advisors have completely given up on advising him. And it's like, really? They did? We couldn't tell. Pop this up. Top White House officials and elected Republicans tell us the same thing in private. They no longer even try to persuade President Trump to do or not say something. Why bother? A longtime advisor, an admirer, admirer told us. This is what I would say to the elected Republicans. Get a pair of balls, okay? You don't have to have his permission to be a check in Congress for President Trump? You don't have to.
3:56Like I think we discussed earlier, it was the Republicans that brought down Nixon. So, you know, grow up. Like there's something bigger at play here. It's our democracy. It's our country. And every one of these men capitulate to him. They get on their knees and give in to everything that he wants. I've never seen anything like it amongst a bunch of men who claim to be, you know, guys, guys, tough guys. All they are are suck-ups. And I don't think any of us contemplated years ago that you could have all three branches of government capitulate to one man, one man that is as corrupt as Donald Trump is.
4:39Could you imagine in that post an admirer of Donald Trump? Could you imagine, And like, that's going to live forever, that you were quoted as being an admirer of Donald Trump. And this is the thing about Republican politics. It's all a short-term power grab. It's all just impulsively, oh, we want to please Donald Trump right now. And it's like, okay, little Moses Mike Grinder Johnson, he's what, 40? Your career is going to be a lot longer than this 80-year-old. like even in the sense of self-preservation, they betray themselves and tether themselves to this dementia duck. It's fascinating. They're all just whores, political whores.
5:24They're all prostitutes. Speaking of political prostitutes, let's focus a little bit on Ted Cruz. Here is Ted Cruz on video giving Trump an A on the economy. Play the clip. I would give him an A. No, no, come on. Look, come on, it's us. It's just us. It's just us. No, it's just us. I recognize that the day he came in, you guys didn't like him, and you still don't like him. That's okay. That's the beauty of democracy. You can have different views. I want to actually.
5:59I just, it's so, I feel so bad for the ladies at the VU, because you know that they probably didn't want him on. You know, they don't want to sit there next to Ted Cruz. His own neighbors and his own friends in the group text when he left and went to Cancun all talked shit on him. Even the president of the United States, who Ted Cruz has debased himself for, debased his wife for, has said, yeah, we might appoint Ted to Supreme Court because nobody really likes him. We'd get him out of everywhere. And so it's just, he is just, what an indictment on the Texas electorate. I mean, how many terms does this guy want?
6:41As many as he's wanted, I guess. But he said something in that clip, that's the beauty of living in a democracy. We get to have different views. Well, we don't in Donald Trump's democracy. We don't get to have different views. You get to have their view. If you say anything that's negative about Palestinians or Palestine, you're instantly granted some sort of anti-Israel label. This democracy as we know it is non-existent. Well, and of course, Ted doesn't get to have a different view, most of all. Most importantly, Ted doesn't get to have a different view because Ted told Donald, don't criticize my wife.
7:24Keep Heidi's name out of your damn mouth, Donald, was the direct quote. And then, of course, Ted Cruz ended up capitulating to the man that called his own wife ugly. And so Ted Cruz doesn't even get to have a differing view because he does, and his view is whatever Trump's is. And this is really dire, what I'm about to play for you guys. Josh sent this to me this morning. This is authoritarian dictatorship. All of the free speech absolutists were liars. All of the people who said all the liberals are snowflakes, they are the snowflakes. MAGA is interfering with Jimmy Kimmel's show yet again. Play the clip.
8:08Changed. Now that he's president, his FCC has threatened me, threatened our show, threatened our network, ABC, our affiliates, our local stations, based on simple, traditional editorial decisions, guest bookings, it would seem they don't like. And so out of consideration for our local stations, especially our ABC affiliates in Texas who would have to deal with this nonsense, my interview tomorrow with James Tallarico will not air on television. It will be posted on YouTube instead. It will not be on TV. So if you want to learn. And that's really that's really chilling. So this is not only election interference.
8:47It is the people who say, let's keep our hands off of business. Let's be free speech absolutists. It's all a lie. It's all bullshit. They are trying to cook the books in Texas because Ken Paxton is a terrible candidate. Tallarico is a fantastic candidate. And they know they might get their ass handed to them in red Texas. And let's not forget the FCC chair is Brendan Carr. And I think he was the author and wrote the FCC chapter of the Heritage Foundations Project 2025. So this is right on par for the Republicans. This free and fair democracy that Ted was just talking about, that notion is gone.
9:28As you know, this plays right into an authoritarian playbook of trying to suppress free speech. It's one of the rights that Donald Trump is trying to take away from all of us. And when you see things like that, that's next level. That's scary stuff. And let's talk about the fact that every historian I've had on here says that they start with comedians. And so let's talk about the fragile nature of the MAGA male politician. Comedians are for joy, are for entertainment. They roast everybody. And the fact that this is who they go for is more revealing about this bullshit veneer, this bullshit tough guy veneer that they prop up.
10:15We're such badasses. And they think they look tough for bullying Jimmy Kimmel. And it's like, bro, y 'all are scared of comedians. Like, and Jimmy Kimmel has more balls than every Republican in both chambers and every MAGA male voter combined because he stood right there and he said, they've been coming after me. They're doing this. They're doing that. We're going to put it on YouTube because we don't want to fight with these people anymore because they throw temper tantrums. They throw feces. Trump is using the government in the same way that he propagandized to everybody. The swamp, we're going to drain the swamp, drain the swamp.
10:52He drained the government of civil servants that didn't have a political agenda. And he is now putting in bias loyalists to the regime. He is installing the swamp. It's always been a lie. It's Republican politics always lead to this stuff because the epicenter of Republican politics are men that have inferiority complexes, and they don't want those complexes exposed, and they want to keep the system rigged so that they don't have to win on their own merit. That's right. And Donald Trump has weaponized the Department of Justice. He's weaponized the FCC. That's what authoritarians do when they're trying to take power from citizens.
11:38You're trying to suppress their right to be heard. We see it going on now with the United States Postal Service. They're trying to interfere and implement a plan that would keep people from being able to send mail-in ballots. So, I mean, they're instantly systematically taking each of these things from us and using different branches of the government to achieve that. And that's scary. And so we now don't know if we're going to have a free and fair election in November. We hope that we are, but he's also talked about having the Department of Homeland Security have agents, ICE agents at polling sites as intimidation tactics.
12:18So these are different times that we live in. So it's imperative for people to treat it differently. Make sure you vote. Make sure you call this out. All right. And then, of course, we need to continue to talk about the Epstein files, because this is something that you may remember, free speech absolutist and bullshit artist, Elon Musk, threw Trump under the bus immediately. When Trump broke up with him and said, all right, enough. You paid$300 million to get me elected. I gave you the keys to the government. Everybody hates your guts. Your little kid's wiping boogers on my desk. Hit the bricks.
12:53Immediately, Elon, the reason Trump won't hand over the Epstein files is because he's in the Epstein files, right? Everybody, every Republican that's seen the files knows how deeply embedded into the files he is. And so we have to keep talking about this because the political party that wants to lecture us about children and about families and traditional family values and God and all this shit, they all support the cover-up of this pedophile ring. And Epstein survivors have revealed that Fox News will not let them speak on their network. play the clip we have talked about how this has been a unifying topic however we haven't been able to get on right-leaning media at all ever so like newsmax had us on a couple of times but other than that like fox will not have us right why do you think that's the case why fox i know your producers watch our show all the time so i want to say hello why why won't you have on the um epstein survivors why why won't you have them on Oh, you're too busy covering Hassan Piker and imaginary trans athletes in the WNBA.
14:09You're too busy covering for pedophiles. You're too busy covering for all the people that are in the Epstein files. This is such a disgrace. This is such a disgrace. Fox News, if the FCC should go after anybody, it should be them. They lie to their audience. They propagandize to their audience. They release information that kills people. All of the vaccine shit that they did, while you couldn't even go into the Fox newsroom if you weren't vaccinated, but then they sow all this disinformation. It actually kills people. I mean, it's really serious stuff. And I think it's Rupert Murdoch that says, politics isn't red or blue, it's green.
14:52Because it's just all about money. The Republican Party values money over human beings, over little girls that were raped by disgusting old men. And they want to be the party of family values, the channel of family values. And they've been integrating more religion into their episodes, they said. They're going to bring in more religion into their episodes. Like any church, what do they do? They cover up all of the sexual abuse. It's just such a disgrace. The Republican Party is the party of complete degenerates, and they're all morally bankrupt hypocrites. Let's not forget that in 2020, Fox paid nearly a billion dollars basically for lying to the American public for telling their viewers things that simply were not true.
15:46We all know this is Fox's playbook from day one. And I'm sure all of their corporate executives and their staff all sit back and laugh at how the joke is on these people. all the shit that they spew out day in and day out that doesn't have an ounce of truth to it. They know it. They know when they report this stuff. And to somehow take the moral high ground on these issues about family values and Christian values, and yet you're part of the cover-up with Epstein and the rest of them, not reporting it, because it's unfavorable to the Republican Party that the president is so deeply embedded in these files and involved in this cover-up, it's disgusting.
16:31It's disgusting. And people need to hear this. Like people need to, this needs to be messaged by the Democrats. They're as complicit as anyone else. All right. And so then they always respond to everything with just lies. And so as predicted on this podcast, we talked about what would happen with the Republican Trump-a-palooza, that there'll probably be empty seats. It would be a shit show. It would be embarrassing, but that Donald Trump, regardless of what happened, would go out and take a victory lap. I said this yesterday. I said this the day before yesterday. It doesn't matter what happened.
17:09The bunny boiler and other people around him will say, no, it was a huge success. Here's the evidence of it. And then on cue, straight out of central casting, this guy puts out the following truth social. The Republican midterm convention last night in Dallas was a major sold out hit, far bigger, better, and more important than anyone thought possible. It was really something streaming all over the place and really big numbers despite going up against the NFL. The overall numbers beat the NFL. The arena, which was really nice, beat its own attendance records. The place was packed. There were thousands of people outside that couldn't get in.
17:48Screens were provided. I guess people love Trump politics. I'll be there again tonight to close out the show. Exciting stuff. Make America great again. It doesn't matter. This is the thing that we all have to get through our heads. We all think, OK, this is the end. He and Elon Musk breaking up, and Elon Musk is about to throw him under the bus with the Epstein files. This is the end. They triple tapped a school in Iran. The guardrails are going to come up. The Republicans in Congress are going to say, nope, too far. This is the end. The fix is in on this thing. It doesn't matter what we see. This regime is going to propagandize to us that what we saw wasn't real and that this was real.
18:35And this is authoritarianism 101. That's why I get so exhausted even thinking about him doing this thing, because I know that the Republicans will go out and take a victory lap. And I know that Fox News and other media outlets are going to sane wash and normalize everything he's done because that's what they've been doing for 11 years. This is a guy who incited an insurrection, who his low level supporters beat up cops, took a shit in the Capitol, did all this stuff. 77 million people still voted for him. It this guy, we will not be done with him until biology takes care of it. And biology is undefeated.
19:16Sadly, for all of us, mean people tend to live forever. Nothing sticks to this guy except for we can stick it to him in the midterms. And because they are going to do what Josh mentioned earlier, the voting, the United States Postal Service interference, because they're not letting Tallarico's interview air on Jimmy Kimmel. This is what Viktor Orban did with his opponent, Maigar. Viktor Orban's elites that sucked up to him in Hungary, they all would not allow Maigar to be on television at all. And they did everything they could do to interfere with that election. But Hungarians came out in numbers that were too big to rig.
19:58They came out and voted against corruption. They voted against Viktor Orban's autocracy, authoritarianism, the marginalization of people. And we can do that here because we are going to see this new cycle and we've been seeing it for 12 years over and over and over. Trump failure. Trump exposed is corrupt. Trump this. They spin it as this. Media provides cover, rinse and repeat. There's actually in 50 days, 51 days, Kylie, something like that, 50 something days, we can actually do what they did in Hungary. And so they're going to continue to do this shit and continue to lie and continue to propagandize for this fucking 80-year-old dipshit.
20:42I'll never be able to really wrap my head around that. There's two points that I would like to make. Number one, we have to have a high voter turnout for this election. Number one. Number two, you're always going to have a base of Trumpers that are always going to be Trumpers. And that's fine. We don't need them. But you can peel off, and I think that we will peel off, 5 % to 10 % of the independents. I think that he's taken it a bridge too far, and I think we see that in the poll numbers. So the Democrats need high voter turnout, and we need the independents to vote, too, because that'll be the difference.
21:20You're right about the independents. He is polling. He's underwater with independents, completely underwater. He has a super high approval rating within the Republican Party, like 90 percent, something completely embarrassing for the Republican Party. But independents, he's completely underwater with. But another thing to talk about is Donald Trump was able to get first-time voters out to vote because they thought they were voting against the status quo. Midterms are notoriously low voter turnout. I think everything that we've looked at right now appears to be that this is going to be incredibly high voter turnout.
21:57And the Republicans know that, which is why little Mark Wayne Mullen, little Senator Boosterbox, that little tough guy, why he is saying he's going to have ice at the polls. And so all they have left is fear and cosplaying bad guys. sadly for them, they can actually, their cosplay can turn into real life and they can really terrorize people, people that appear to, you know, look like a minority that maybe have a Spanish or Mexican or some sort of foreign accent. And they're going to try to do everything they can. But I just want to, in these days leading up to the midterms, really impress upon everyone that But we have to vote across the board.
22:41And some of you are going to probably have to vote for a moderate Democrat in certain situations. You're going to have to vote for them. We have to vote to give the Democrats the majority. And there are some Democrats in the Democratic Party that I'm disappointed in. But I want the Democrats to get the power because even the worst Democrat is better than a MAGA person 12 times out of 10. And we will continue. It's going to take multiple election cycles to get the corporate money out of our party. But this is the most important midterm election and election of my lifetime. I mean, everybody throws that out there.
23:19But this genuinely, this is our only chance, this guardrail. Right. And the stakes are too high. And I echo what you say. I mean, all of us have an ideal candidate that we would love to have. But this isn't about that. This is about the change of power from Republican to Democrat. And so if you have to vote for someone that you're not crazy about, but they're a Democrat, then you do it. Go to the polls. You have to do it. And ideally, at some point in time down the road, once we've retained power, then we can have other candidates. Yeah, we can look at other candidates and vote for other candidates.
23:56But this is not about that. Don't confuse the two. This is about trying to save democracy and show up and vote so that the Democrats can control both the House and the Senate. And then we can talk about impeachment and things like that. Yeah. And I think about my vote now more than anything as a vote against this. Exactly. And we will still have a lot of work to do as a party. But the number one unifying thing between a moderate or even a conservative Democrat all the way to a leftist is we will not have anything unless we defeat fascism. Once we can at least send this one fatal, hopefully fatal blow to them that can then lead to the 28, we'll still have a lot of really good, healthy bickering and disagreements within our party that are healthy and constructive and sometimes probably get toxic on Twitter and all of that.
24:50But right now, the unifying thing must be to defeat these people. OK, that's all we have. Pre-order my book. It is called Not Today Fascists. That's linked right below in the show notes. and subscribe to our channel, leave us a comment, and we will be back later with more news.
