In short
The hosts and guest roast MAGA women and conservative figures, arguing they’re hypocritical, anti-LGBTQ, and often tied to sexual scandals and “Christian signaling.” They also discuss politics, media culture-war claims, and conspiracy-style speculation about billionaires’ victimhood.
Guest
Mary Beth Barone, comedian/actor/writer known for playing Grace on Amazon’s Overcompensating; her stand-up special Galaxy Brain streams on Netflix.
Guest backgrounds
She identifies as bisexual and a member of the DSA (calls herself “DSA curious” at one point), and says she’s childless by choice and would have had an abortion if pregnant.
Key claims
MAGA women (especially Erika Kirk, Caroline Levitt, Katie Miller, and figures around J.D. Vance and Melania Trump) are portrayed as lying, sanctimonious, and obsessed with “family values” while protecting abusers. The episode claims JD Vance won’t condemn a racist Nazi group chat and highlights his “name and faith changes.” It argues JK Rowling’s TERF activism is “inciting violence” and that rich conservatives perform victimhood.
Notable examples
Erika Kirk in “assassin” cosplay; Caroline Levitt praying with a cross while denying Epstein links; Katie Miller’s Grey’s Anatomy “triggering” rant; JD Vance’s podcast greeting while his wife is pregnant; Melania’s denial of Epstein connections tied to Amanda Ungaro; JK Rowling funding lawsuits against pro-trans businesses.

Automatic transcript. May contain errors.0:00My biggest issue with Charlie Kirk's assassination was how many photos of him I had to see. Like if I think of Elon Musk. We hate to think of Elon Musk. I hate to think of him. I hate to think of him. Turfs are some of the ugliest people I personally have ever seen. I'd rather earn my money on my back. I think that makes sense. Although some days I think, oh, to be like a congressperson who can trade stocks. It doesn't matter. His genes are so bad that he will make ugly children with any woman. And Barron was kind of his last chance, but he's six foot seven and he's balding already. So meth. I'm on it.
0:32All right. Welcome to I've Had It Weekend. We are so lucky today. We have a special guest, Mary Beth Barone. She is a comedian, actor, writer. She can be seen playing Grace on Amazon's Overcompensating. Kind of sounds like the MAGA administration, but that's neither here nor there. And her new stand-up special, Galaxy Brain, is streaming on Netflix. Mary Beth, you are blowing up all over the place and people love you. Thank you. Yes. It feels so crazy. It feels weird that the tide hasn't turned yet, but I'm waiting for it too, for people to get mad at me. Oh, they will. Because today I want to talk about your bisexual, right?
1:11And you're a member of the DSA. Yes. And you are a supporter of Mom Donnie, woke Sharia. Yep. And so why do you hate America? Well, what's to love about it anymore? You know, it's all this woke stuff and American values are totally in the shitter. I mean, no one's having babies anymore. So I just think we need to burn it all to the ground. I'm childless by choice. I've never been pregnant. But if I had been, I would have gotten an abortion. So yeah, I just think we need to rewrite. We need to rewrite it all, burn it down and rebuild. And yeah, I just think we've done it wrong and it's not too late to go back.
1:51I agree. I, I, my politics align with yours. Although I would just say that I'm DSA curious. Okay. Um, I, I, um, I, I like parts of capitalism. Me too. I just think it needs to - Well, the ones that benefit me. The ones that benefit me. I just think it needs to be heavily, heavily regulated. But I want to talk some shit about MAGA women. Yeah. Oh, please. Which I think you and I are the antidote to their, um, insanity. So let's play some of their worst moments. And of course, one of my favorite crazy MAGA women is Erica. I was hoping you'd bring her up. I don't care if it's a trans, if it's a gender confused person, if it's a Muslim, if it's whoever else that's standing in front of you, that's spitting on you, that's cussing at you, that's throwing your buttons everywhere.
2:42I don't care. You are what you are. What Charlie always said, you are what you are a happy warrior. that is what you are as you fight. I have not experienced this trans spitting experience in America. Or throwing my buttons everywhere. I haven't experienced either one of those. No. And I've lived here for my whole life. That's 35 years. I haven't seen it even in New York, which of course, you know, now it's Mom Donistan. I haven't, I haven't experienced that yet. I've only, I've actually, so it was a trans. Trans spitters. Gender. People spitting on you. Confused person. Yeah. Muslim. Yeah. Muslims.
3:16I haven't experienced any Muslims spitting on me. No. And I've met the mayor. Yeah. And he's a Muslim and he didn't spit on me. Not once. Did he you? No. No. Did he throw his buttons at you? No. He didn't throw my buttons at me or his buttons at me. And we filmed our whole interaction too. So if that had happened, we would have footage. Right. Just didn't happen. Right. Really, really interesting. Did you see the clip where Erica, there's a lot to go through. There's so much content, especially from her specifically. She just won't stop. She will not stop. It's like I feel like she's doing press for the White Lotus or something.
3:50I'm like, you know, you can take a couple days off, babe. Just sit down and maybe shut the camera off. Let's work on those speeches, those talking points. But the people that listen to her don't even care what she's saying. They don't care if it makes sense. That's what's so frustrating about it. Well, among other things. Did you see the one where she's dressed up as an assassin? Yeah, that you did the – I did it, yeah. That was so good. Thank you. That was my dabble into being an actress, comedian. Character actor. Was it good? An impressionist. It was perfect. I think, yeah, she's so easy to make fun of because what she, yeah, it's just complete nonsense.
4:22And the intensity with which she delivers it is, I don't know where she's conjuring that up from. I guess hell or something, but. I think that's probably a good place. Okay. Next up, we have now the soon to be. Soon to be former. You seem to be former Caroline Levitt, who fancies herself a big Christian and breeder, world-class breeder. Wait, how many kids does she have? Two. My parents had six, so she needs to catch up. She really does need to catch up. Does she know that you can have more than two? I think that they put that memo out in the regime. The admin. But one thing I really particularly enjoy about Caroline Levitt is the Christian signaling.
5:03You know, she always has the Christian cross on while she's pathologically lying, looking into the camera, like saying, oh, all the Epstein survivors, that's a hoax. Right. Because when I think of Christian values, I think of covering up for pedophiles. Do you? Yeah. Well, Catholic values, certainly. Yes, of course. I was Catholic for a number of years as well. I would say modern Catholicism, if we go back in the Bible, not mentioned that I know of is protecting pedophiles. I think they didn't like hurting anyone, let alone children in the Bible. That's definitely clearly stated. So I think it's just interesting for her to adopt this sort of modern Catholic mentality, which is you have to protect pedophiles.
5:43Right. That's a really, really good point. But here she is before she goes out to one of her press briefings. Pop this up. Peacefully, in Jesus' name, amen. Amen. Let's do this. Preach. And I just think what our audience didn't see is before you came in, we went and put our prayer rugs towards Mecca and we prayed and then we spoke in tongues together and then we sat down for work and said, let's go do this. And we said, let's get this bread. I need to see a get ready with me with her. I need to know what the glam team's doing to achieve what they're achieving. Cause it seems like they're purposely making her look.
6:22I mean, and also I think it's okay to talk about a woman's looks when they're pure evil. I don't know what your stance is on that. Oh, I'm 100 % all about supporting women for good. But these women that are carrying water for their patriarchy, they need to be relentlessly shamed. So let's go at it. What about the photographer for Vanity Fair? Not all heroes wear capes. No. And I think he should get a purple heart when we take back the country. It's a great idea. Because that was an act of bravery. I mean, that was like risking their lives type of mission, I would say. Completely. That person, it's a guy, right?
6:59Yeah. He could have been deported for something like that. Easily. People have been deported for less. Far less. So I think he's really brave and I think he should keep taking pictures of Republicans in compromising positions, which I guess just happens to be standing or sitting. That can even be compromising for a Republican when you look like that. You know what I'm craving? And I know that there are people that are probably onto this, but we hear about grinder crashing. Yeah. When the Republicans come to town. Yeah. Charlie Kirk's funeral even. In grief. The grief drove them to do gay stuff.
7:30Even more so in grief, I would say. I think so. I mean, look how happy Erica is all of a sudden. Exactly. I don't know. They're more celebratory or something. They are. But I think we need to get a lot more of these people caught in compromising positions. I know. It's like, how do you do that ethically? Not that they care about ethics, but I am curious what that would look like. Because I, again, I also, I'm like, I would say the conservatives right now are really challenging my belief system in that I'm like, I don't want to out people, but then like, I kind of do. I do. When it's those people.
8:04I want to out the hypocrites. If somebody is passively living their life and they live in the Bible Belt, or even they live in New York, but their boss is super conservative and they just, for whatever reason, that's not my business. And that's their choice. That's their story to tell. But if you're say, for example, the late Lady Graham, and you hired allegedly sex workers all over Washington, D.C., put on red panties and asked trans sex workers to do things anally to you and then said, don't worry, all those moles on my anus, those are my ladybugs. I think that needs to be repeated frequently and often.
8:44I agree. I agree. It should be the first thing we say when we wake up in the morning and the last thing we say before we go to bed. Let's get this out there to the people. Because I also think it's tough. It would have been so great to be able to do that while he was still here, don't you think? Oh, I did. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I did. I think the problem, it is the hypocrisy, and it's the violence against the community that they get to so freely, I mean, not freely express themselves, but it seems like he was doing that when he wanted to. So I just think that limiting and inciting violence against those communities when you are a member of that community, but you're ashamed of it.
9:18You're hiding behind it. It's, yeah, we need to, we need to destroy these legacies earlier. I agree. I call these the DL, the DL demon queens. Yeah. DL trade down in DC. DC DL trade. Yeah. I like it. Okay. Next up, we have the Twitter account Patriot Takes tweeted that video of Caroline Levitt that we just watched with this caption. Caroline Levitt is stepping down. Here she is praying before heading out to help Trump cover up the Epstein files. This is her legacy. And I do think that we need to consistently and constantly point out that on the one hand, these people are always telling us that like breed, have children.
10:00And then when you have children, we're going to make sure that their sexual abusers are protected, get pardoned, get, in the case of Ghislaine Maxwell, gets moved to a cream puff prison. They gave her a dog, Ghislaine Maxwell. Well, here's my big thing is that if you put me in a room with Ghislaine for a few hours, I could crack her. I really believe in myself that if I endeared myself to her, I'm thinking it's an undercover op where I get put in the jail as well. And I'm totally willing to do this, by the way. If anyone listening has the power to get me in there, I think I could convince her to tell me exactly what happened and to name names.
10:36So that's one theory that I have. not, we're not able to prove or disprove. So we'll just say that it's true. Okay. The other thing is, it's like when all these Republicans are like, have babies, have babies, have kids, like, why are you so obsessed with kids? Why are you so obsessed with them? That's a great point. What do you want to do to them? And now we know. And when you think about Caroline Lovett with that cross on, or Christy Noem, the wife of Big Titty Brian, with her cross on while she's fucking Corey Lewandowski, and them being so sanctimonious with us about family values. And I came from Oklahoma.
11:12And my mother always told me, my mother's an atheist. So I was raised as an atheist in the Bible Belt. Really lucky. But she always would say, the bigger the Christian, the bigger the freak. The bigger the Christian, the bigger the closet. And it always was true. Your mom was saying this? Oh, in the 80s. Wow. We had a trans hairdresser too. In the 80s. In the Bible Belt. In the Bible Belt. Okay, so you've been liberal all along? All along. That's nice. I didn't have to do any deprogramming. No, I didn't have to reconcile that Noah didn't really build the ark. Yeah, that can be tough for people to wrap them up.
11:46Yeah, yeah, yeah. I didn't have to go through that. So next up, I think probably one of the biggest twats in the United States is Katie Miller. Okay, let's take a look. All right, play the clip. beginning of Grey's Anatomy, you have a gay actor, but you have no gay characters. About two to three seasons in, you start to have a lesbian couple and a lesbian actor. And then probably in the 2010s, that's when you start seeing a gay marriage. Then you see gay adoption. And then you start going. And I'm going to pull this open because I actually have, I noted this another guy. By 2017, we had a trans man.
12:27In 2018, we had multiple different deportation themes with ICE officers in Grey's Anatomy. In 2021, they started to show Black Lives Matter riots, where you had people be actually being injured by police officers and demonization of police. In 2021, you also had white men apologizing for being white to black actors. In 2022, there are multiple characters of different ethnicities and body types. This is when we're supposed to celebrate the fatness of America and this body conscious lifestyle that has since been a relic of the past thanks to GLP ones.
13:07I think anyone that's been watching Grey's Anatomy from the beginning should be looked at and checked on. It's a lot of seasons. A lot. I can understand why you would start to go into psychosis at that point. Right. What was, I have, why don't you start? Okay. So basically what I'm hearing from her is that she doesn't have the autonomy to change the channel. Right, right. Or to go into Netflix and watch something different, like a normal person. So let's just buy into her narrative that the forces that be forced her to binge watch. Watching Grey's Anatomy. Grey's Anatomy. For 20 plus seasons, by the way.
13:4520 plus seasons, 20 hours per season. This is all when she comes home blissfully happy after breeding with Stephen Miller, who was unfuckable and horrible. And we'll get to that in a minute. But from what I'm hearing is that she's triggered by gay people, black people, lesbians, fat people, gay, fat, black, lesbians. And it just, it gets, it starts really getting cumulative as she watches it. It's not times the number it's to the power of, you know what I mean? It's exponential growth of how unsafe she feels watching this program and how silenced and othered she feels because I've seen the show.
14:26There's a lot of women on the show. Yeah. They're not all gay. I just, why would you have to, I guess it must be hard watching TV because so much art is made by people on the left because that's, we make good art because we're empaths. It must just be hard to consume media at this point because it's so geared towards us, towards people that look like us and people that have our beliefs. When you watch, um, like let's say a national geographic show and it shows two animals mating in the wild. Do you feel otherized and triggered, attacked, personally attacked by this? Yeah. I do. Well, cause it's not, it's not representative of my values, my experience.
15:10And I don't think animals should be having sex. but rhino sex elephant sex they're not they're not making more americans are they so that would be my issue with it they are not okay so then let's dive into this whole this maggot thing that they're trying to sell as you can see katie miller's trying to sell it caroline levitt but then we get to usha and jd okay it's so hard for me to watch J.D. Vance talk. If you're going to play a clip where he's... I'm going to. Trigger warning. I'm sorry. But I have to do some teeing at, Mary Beth. We need to establish. J.D. Vance has changed his name as an adult three times.
15:50And so I want to ask you how many times have you changed your name as an adult? I've changed my name zero times as an adult. I'm at zero. You're at zero. I've had it since birth. Okay. I guess I took a confirmation name. Rose. Rose? Yeah. I didn't No Catholics did that. Yeah, we do. We renounce the devil at 15. Oh, okay. And is that permanent? Yes. That lives forever, even though you're no longer a Catholic, you still... And one of the popes said, if you attend 10 First Friday Masses in a row, which I did because I went to Catholic school for 10 years, you automatically get into heaven. Oh. So I pretty much can do whatever the fuck I want now, which is awesome.
16:28I got that clearance, which feels really good. And there's papal infallibility, which means that the Pope can never be wrong, which I think some of the people in our government could maybe – they need a refresher on that belief, that idea. Yeah. Well, the other thing that J.D. has changed three times is his faith. Okay. I thought you were going to say his face because I feel like he also looks a little different. I believe that he has. Here's just an aside. He used to be kind of chubby. Miller much. He used to be kind of chubby. Isn't it crazy he wrote Hillbilly Elegy, which, by the way, you're picking a name for your book and you're going to – how many L's are in that?
17:00Hillbilly Elegy. The name of that, before I even knew he was related to it, the name of that pissed me off so much. Hillbilly Elegy. It's like, why are you marbles in the mouth? What's going on? And then they made it a movie and whatever. But I just can't believe he, that's so, it's so not linear. His path is so not linear. So let's talk about his faith, quote unquote. Yeah. So now he's a full-blown Catholic. He is married to a woman of Indian descent. So Usha's parents were born in India, migrated here. Good for them. I'm pro-immigration Fox. Me too. You need to say hello to the Fox producers.
17:34They watch all the time. Oh, cool. Well, make sure to use a clip where we look dewy, not shiny. And then she, J.D. Vance, refuses to condemn a Nazi racist group chat where they're saying a bunch of racist stuff about Indians, about black people, about immigrants. And he has four mixed race children. Easiest thing in the world to verbally condemn something. can I just say, just say it. Yeah. Just condemn it. You don't have to change your actions. You don't have to actually believe it. Why not just verbally condemn something? It's the easiest thing to do. Unless you agree with it. Yeah, exactly.
18:14So then Usha, who is a Yale educated woman, has a podcast wherein she reads to children. Why do they all have to have podcasts? I don't know. It's really bad for me. It's like... Okay. Okay. So he goes to meet with her on her... He's the guest on the podcast. And just if you were dating a guy or married to a guy and you had bred with a guy four times and he greeted you like this, tell me what you would want to do to yourself after. Play the clip. Vice President of the United States, J.D. Vance. Thanks for joining us today, honey. She's currently greeting in process. Oh, thanks for joining us. Play that again.
18:58Let Mary Beth see that again. Of course. Good to see you. Of course. Good to see you. Good to see you. Well, that's how I greeted you this morning. Good to see you, but we've never even met before. Exactly. Yeah, that's, it's interesting because the implication, since she's pregnant, is that they have had sex before. But I wouldn't have guessed that. In vitro. It might have been. But that's even, where's the Bible on in vitro? You know, it's like these, there, there's no consistency with these people. And that's, I think one of my big problems. You know how Candace Owens is just like super unhinged.
19:33From my hometown. Oh, is she? Yeah. From my hometown, Stanford. Really? Yeah. You know how she just like every day she gets up and she's batshit crazy and makes shit up. And then she, you know, she has this career doing it. Sometimes I fantasize about like, I want to do that. I want to be crazy. And so in my alternate world, where I am the left's answer to Candace Owens, this is what I would make up. Okay, I'm excited. I would say that all of these women, Caroline Levitt's two kids, Katie Miller's four, three or four, J.D. Vance's four kids, are all Elon Musk's. And he went to the Spank Bank, left all the seam in there.
20:15Made some deposits. and then as a part of him owning all of these people, he was like, here's the deal. All of your babies you have are actually going to be mine. What do you think? See, I wish, sometimes I wish. Isn't that believable? Totally. If that came out, that would not surprise me at all because I feel like you, people that believe in eugenics would pull some shit like that. Yeah. But it's just, it's hard to have a base that doesn't believe anything. That's the problem for leftists and for Democrats, I think, is that we have logical thought and we're not just going to believe whatever you throw out there.
20:50So I think if there was a way to – and the problem is that even if you proved it, the conservatives wouldn't believe it. So I think as far as a conspiracy theory, I think why not just spread it? Why not go for it? What's the harm? Who are we really harming in that case? The people that are harming the world. Exactly. I think we should question their ability to even like procreate or even ejaculate. I don't, I would need to see it. The semen? I would need to see it. I would need to see it. Yeah. Come out in order to believe that those men are doing that. Okay. Let's move on to Melania Trump. Okay.
21:31Okay. Okay. Here is, so out of the clear blue sky, Melania has been AWOL the entire presidency, right? Yeah. Yeah. She just has not been around. She hasn't done anything. she's kind of like, fuck you. Well, she said, I don't really care. Do you remember that jacket? Yeah. She meant it. She got paid$40 million on the Netflix documentary. You want to know what my number one takeaway was? She sat down with the editors and with the team and said, I don't care what you film, but put this in here. When I say goodnight to him, he walks one way and I walk the other. I don't want one person thinking that I fuck him.
22:03Yeah. And we don't, by the way. She went to extreme, extreme lengths to make sure we all know that she doesn't fuck him. So she doesn't care, all the stuff. Out of the clear blue sky, our missing first lady appears to deny knowing Jeffrey Epstein. I was like, well, this is weird as shit. Right. The reason she denied it is because her former best friend is this gal by the name of Amanda Ungaro. Okay. Amanda Ungaro is a Brazilian woman who is married to one of Donald Trump's best friends who now works in the Trump administration, et cetera. And he and Amanda are getting divorced. And he called his friend Donald and said, please deport Amanda.
22:48OK. So I just went and picked her up. Yeah. And conveniently, conveniently, the guy, the ex-husband of Amanda Angaro, is the cover story for Donald Trump and Melania to say he set them up. Okay. He set up Trump and Melania. That's how they met each other. Right. He is their alibi. Amanda gets out of ICE custody back in Brazil, starts mean tweeting Melania, you bitch, you didn't stand up for me. You knew that they were deporting me. I'm telling everybody the truth. I'm telling them exactly how you met Jeffrey Epstein was that you were a two bit hooker. And after Jeffrey Epstein was done with you, he gave, passed you off.
23:31That's what she's claiming. So knowing that backstory, cause I was like, why is she doing this all of a sudden? Here's what she comes out and says. The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today. The individuals lying about me are devoid of ethical standards, humility, and respect. What do you think about the ethical standards? And the humility and the respect. I used to do a Melania impression. This was first term. I stopped. Oh. Why? Do you have post-cultural appropriation? Yeah. No, I – well, I do actually, but not in that case. There's not really – there's not much culture there.
24:19I mean, did you see what their old apartment looked like? Yeah. I love that she said it has to end today as if she has the power to declare something like that. Here's what I would do if I had a best friend on the verge of becoming an ex-best friend who had internet access. I would not have them deported because there's going to be internet wherever they're going and they're going to be able to say whatever they want. What's interesting is I didn't even, I knew that she had done this speech, but I, and I knew it was going to be in response to something, but it was like, oh, there's going to be a bombshell.
24:48It's a distraction tactic. I never even heard the other side of it, which was that someone with insider information is, is coming forward. Um, here's, here's my thing, right? If I, if I am a sexual predator and I have all this history that's so well documented, communications with the most notorious sexual predator in the history maybe of like at least our country, I'm not running for president. I'm going to stay quiet. I'm going to be in the shadows. This is just me though. I'm not going to try to get to the highest office because then it's like people will want that to come out. So I'm just saying like I would never do that.
Read the full transcript
25:27But if I did, I certainly would not run for office because people are going to be looking for that sort of thing. So I just don't understand it. Maybe he wanted immunity. I know there's a lot of theories for that as to why he would then run for office or just stupidity, thinking you're invincible. There's just so many things that I, yeah, I just cannot wrap my mind around. I think that that is a normal person's reaction, the way we read all of this. We read it like, why would he run for office? Why would he do this? Why would Melania do that? I think that's the way a normal person would think about it.
25:57But these people aren't normal. Donald Trump probably doesn't think any Jeffrey Epstein did anything wrong. You have to, in order to apply what you would do in that situation, you're giving them something they don't have, which is a normal moral judgment. Right. And Melania doesn't have that. And Donald Trump doesn't have that. And all of these people that work for him don't have that. I mean, these people are so broken from the onset, which now I want to dabble over to this J.K. Rowling situation. So I think what fascinates me about Trump and all of the billionaires and then J.K. Rowling, these people really have the bank account to where there's no excuse.
26:46There's no excuse to be out of shape because you can hire the personal trainers and chefs. Your blood work should be fucking perfect because you have all this time to devote your teeth, your skin. You can have your blood re-infused. All of those. All that stuff. Whale sperm facials or something. All of it. You can just sit around and it could be me time all day, every day. Right. But instead of it being me time, it's they're in everybody's business time. And if you listen to some of the richest people in the world, like Elon Musk and J.K. Rowling and that prick, oh, he lives here in New York, Bill Ackman.
27:21They act like they're victims. They act like there is this huge cabal of people against them. And in J.K. Rowling's instance, she thinks it's trans people. And I heard that you have some thoughts on her and these TERFs. So first tell me what a TERF is and then please go off on J.K. Rowling. Well, TERF stands for Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist. So it's a group of women, presumably cisgender women, who feel that trans women are trying to like invade women's spaces or take something away from the work that women have done to get to where we are in society, which is obviously nowhere near equal to men.
28:03So it's people who don't consider trans women as women. Now, these are some of – TERFs are some of the ugliest people I personally have ever seen. Physically? Physically. Well, and inside and out, I would say. Because they're extremely vocal and they're putting their faces out in front of this issue, which is that they don't think that trans women should be using women's bathrooms or be included in women's groups or in women's spaces at all. So they just really, and it's this idea that like, I don't really know how they've done it with the culture war, but the people orchestrating it have done a very good job of making it seem like trans people are the enemy when in reality it's a very small percentage of the population and they just want to exist.
28:48In my experience with trans people, they want to exist and hopefully make music. Yeah. They're really good at making music. And so it's, it's fascinating because JK Rowling has taken a, you know, first she writes Harry Potter, right? Then she decides I'm going to be a crusader for this cause. She's actually started a fund to help people financially who have, I'm trying to think of how, how it's phrased, who have like sued businesses for being pro-trans and lost. She wants to help those people financially. So it's not only is she very vocal about this, but she's actually putting dollars behind it.
29:22And so I just don't understand if I'm a billionaire. Like I said, I'm just, I'm going to kick back and maybe have some fun in my life. I'm not going to be on Twitter talking about trans women and trying to, trying to, it is truly inciting violence against this group of people who are really, as I said, just trying to exist and they deserve rights, they deserve dignity, and they deserve to be treated with respect. So she has just completely tarnished her legacy and she doubles down on it every chance she gets. So now they're making this Harry Potter TV show and a lot of actors are participating in it.
29:56And there's a lot of anger and disappointment, I think, in the LGBTQ community. But I think, yeah, I think J.K. Rowling, I don't know. There's not an English word to describe her. there's maybe a French word. I'm not sure. I'm not sure what it is, but it's there. There's an ugliness. Yeah. Inside and out. And just like, what is it for? What are you accomplishing? What's the goal? You know, there's a through line here though, if we think about it, like if I think of Elon Musk, JK Rowling, which we hate to think of Elon Musk, hate to think, hate to think of him, JK Rowling, Bill Ackman and Mark Zuckerberg, all of this, there, there are some commonalities.
30:35They all have bank accounts at Cachocobo. A lot of them are all chronically online. They are somehow victims. Always. It's the victim mentality. Because I used to be Republican. I don't know if you knew that. I was Republican for 20 years. And what kind of Republican? Like lower the taxes. Country club Republican. Yeah, exactly. Okay. Because I am from a liberal part of Connecticut, but my parents were conservative, never MAGA, never anywhere near that. Like when you say conservative, where I come from, that means like pro-life, the earth is 6 ,000 years old. Oh, the Catholic. But not creationist, interestingly.
31:09Like they always knew. They're very smart, my parents. But I think they just thought like, you know, people, I don't know, like they were just maybe misinformed about like what social programs actually are. And they just wanted to pay less taxes because my dad was a doctor and my mom was a nurse. They had six kids. So it was like, you know. Did they not believe in birth control? Isn't that a Catholic thing? They actually did, interestingly. They wanted six kids. Oh, on purpose. So they went for it. Really? And they nailed it. They totally nailed it. Now they have six liberal children, which is wonderful for everyone in the house.
31:37Are they still conservative? No. We all made the jump. Well, my older siblings probably did a little bit earlier. But when Trump ran, it was sort of like they didn't recognize their party. And my parents, as I said, they're very intelligent. So my dad passed away last year, but he died a liberal. And my mom is extremely liberal now. Did they both? Did your dad just doing a little cleanup work here? Or did he do the 15 or 10 Good Fridays? Oh, oh my gosh, to see if he would go to heaven. I don't know. I think he probably went to heaven for just being a good person. So I'll see him there. But I had to take the easy way out because I'm bad or I'm bad to the bone.
32:18So I was Republican. I understand the victim mentality and how effective that can be. And so it's been, yeah, for Republicans like, you know, in probably where you're from, I feel like some of them are actually suffering at the hands of the system, but they don't understand who the enemy actually is, which is conservatives and these people that are taking away their health care, their rights, their, you know, the job market's pretty bad from what I understand. So it is just fascinating to watch these super, super rich, mostly straight white guys who have the ability to position themselves as victims.
32:50It's like it's a mental gymnastics that I wish that the left could learn from because it's working. And for some reason, whether it be the infighting that we have or people jumping down each other's throats at the slightest sign of maybe disagreeing with them, but there's just something we need to be learning from conservatives that we're not. And that's why I think the party is in complete disarray. I have an idea. Let's hear it. Okay. So when you spoke about the people from my home state that are probably conservative, but not the country club Republican types that are looking for a tax break.
33:22They are actually working class people who have been lied to and propagandized by the Republican Party for years. And they have Christian signal to them. Because if you grow up in rural Oklahoma, you have two things that you feel proud about because there's no culture. You feel really proud that you're a Christian because that's where all of your social networking is. And you feel really proud that you're an American because there's not a lot of culture outside of those two identities. And they're real proud of their guns. And so the Republican Party has very successfully propagandized to these people that they are the best people to help them be better Christians and be the best Americans because we love America the most.
34:06These libtards hate America. These libtards are going to take your guns. I love how you say libtards. Libtards. And then they serve up, because there's a lot of racism in the South, and they serve up this, the reason you can't have nice things is because of this liberal woman or because of these lesbians. Everything that Katie Miller was talking about, immigrants, black people, et cetera. The fact of the matter is, if the Democrats weren't so beholden to corporate interests, it would be very easy for them to go out and scream from the rooftops. The people who are keeping you from advancing are not the people who earn less than you or have darker skin than you.
34:50It's this guy, Elon Musk. He is an immigrant. He is a corporate welfare queen. and go on and on and on and have an eat the rich style rebuilding of the party, kind of like the DSA is doing right now. And that's why I think they're being so successful, because that's the truth of the matter. The truth of the matter is we cannot have nice things because these billionaires are so goddamn greedy and broken. And then you have the billionaire prostitutes, which are members of the Democratic Party and the Republican Party who service these people. Well, are you going to run or what? No. You don't want to.
35:31I'd rather earn my money on my back. Yeah. I think that makes sense. Although some days I think, oh, to be like a congressperson who can trade stocks. Marjorie Taylor Greene figured that out really quickly. She was a lot smarter than I gave her credit for. I will. And she's so interesting. There's a few people that have come forward recently who I'm like, I know you're bad to your core, but I'm agreeing with them occasionally. Or they, I feel like, I'm just wondering what, what their goal is too. Cause it's like for Marjorie, for example, to speak out against the party, like what's that about?
36:01Self-preservation. But does she think she'll get reelected? Is she even in office right now? Well, it's actually really smart. So I think her term ends soon. And then she, somebody will fill her seat after these general elections in November. she, Tucker Carlson, Massey, all of those people were the first to leave the Trump train. And it was brilliant because he has dementia, the cankles, the pedophile connection. Yeah, all this stuff, right? A lot of bruising. A lot of bruising. And so they see that he is in the lame duck, which I call the dementia duck portion of his presidency. It's not going to end well.
36:40And so they're the first to jump off the train. And so now they're positioning themselves. The reason why you're agreeing with them is not that you're agreeing with them. It's that our positions are so good. They agree with us. Trump is objectively thief, a con man, unattractive, bad at applying makeup, all of the things that cause his ego to be so fragile. But no, it's going to be a really dangerous time. But let's talk about how great it is to live in New York. Zoran's approval rating just came out. And this was the greatest thing, Mary Beth, because on the day that his approval rating came out, it's 69 % approval rating, which is unheard of.
37:22Horney, by the way, 69%. 69. A little horny. Exactly. Summertime. All the plowing that he did in the winter. Remember the filling of the holes? I remember. A lot of holes were filled. Record number, even. Record number. And so now we're at 69. But before this poll was released, the Wall Street Journal, which is a Rupert Murdoch-owned conservative rag, their headline said, Zoran Mamdani honeymoon is over. That was their story for the day. Well, now we're in a happy marriage. That's right. That makes sense. But I'm guessing the article didn't say that. No, it didn't. But I think what the difference is, now that I live here and I follow him and he does such a great job communicating.
38:01communicating. Like if you live in New York, you cannot escape your mayor communicating with you. He's always like doing collaboration posts. And he's just, my son lived with me. He's in college. He lived with me for the summer and he goes, God, mom, Zoran's everywhere. He's everywhere. And that's the way it should be. But the difference with Zoran is every time he's talking to us, he's telling us what he's doing for us directly. Hey, New York, we have this problem and here's how I'm going to fix it. Like he was talking about cooling the subway thing, using really smart people shit that he was going to do to cool the areas.
38:34And then when you hear MAGA speak, it's like what you heard of, you heard them all. I took you through that. Mad Libs or something. Yeah. And that's my take on when you actually have politicians that support and work for you, you feel good about it. Yeah. And I think what's so great and should be a wake up call to the Democratic Party is that Zoran ran on a platform. He had a graphic with five priorities of things that he wanted to do. City-owned grocery stores, free buses, child care for all. There were a couple other things. It's like he showed people what he wanted to do. And he had the, I mean, the public speaking skills, the charisma, and what seemed to be the follow through to like actually pull those things off.
39:16And now that he's in office, he is doing those things. So I think when we look at like these political consultants who are going to probably lose another election for us, and it's like, you have to appeal to the middle. You have to be centrist. You have to be moderate. It's like, no, you have to like say what you want to do and outline the ways that you are going to accomplish that. And it should be things that are going to make the constituents' lives better. Like it's not that hard. I don't, I mean, am I, do I sound crazy? No, I saw online somebody was saying with Zoran, are you telling me this whole time that this is all the politicians had to do?
39:51That it was this just to say, I'm going to do this. And it's the truth. Okay. I want to play a game with you. It's called had it or hit it. Okay. Okay. So if you like something, you'll obviously say hit it. If you don't like it, you'll say I've had it. Okay. Had it or hit it, Sophie Cunningham. I don't know who that is, so I'm going to say had it. Great job. Is she in the NBA, WNBA, the one that's like coming after? She's coming after. This is why I don't like to absorb those people's names because it's like it's bad energy. Your instinct was great. Because I've been seeing some infographics about her.
40:23Again, what is your goal, babe? Why does she care? You just want to be more famous? just make some more baskets or something. Do you know how many trans people play in the WNBA? I think zero. It's zero. And it just makes, it makes players, it makes all players less safe when you have those types of rules. And there are people who are born assigned female at birth, biological women who are athletes who have genetic and hormonal advantages just because of their genes. It's like, so what are you going to do? What are you going to do? You're going to test people's like testosterone levels or something.
40:57Do we think MAGA, and I'm just going to be pretty blunt here. Do we think that if we were in a room full of MAGA people right now watching a WNBA game and if they see six foot tall and taller black women that they aren't immediately going to say, well, that's a man. Well, that's a man. You got to check their whatever. Yeah. I mean, it's just, it's like, she's going to seek protection in a group of people that are trying to take her right to vote away, much less, you know, the basketball. Okay. Moving along. Had it or hid it homeschooling? So I, it depends. It depends on the intentions with the homeschooling.
41:32My sister's kids are unschooled, which means they get to learn what they want and they take different classes and they're in different clubs and they don't have, they don't have a normal school structure. I know. Is this like some hippie woke shit? It's, you know, it, I thought it was, but it sounds like some woke. It's a few, it's a few, there are a few hundred thousand unschooled children in the U S and I would say my nieces are all wonderful people that I enjoy being around and they're very intelligent. So I then have a niece and nephew that go to school and that's what works for their family.
42:03Which ones are smarter? Ooh, I would have to put unschooled or the schooled. You know what? I'm going to set it. I'm going to set up some sort of competition and we'll, we'll see, we'll put it to the test. Um, I think if you're like, if it's Christian values that you want to like, um, what is the word? What's the word? Like indoctrinate through homeschooling and like tell them that dinosaurs didn't exist, then I'm, it's a hit, it's a had it for me. Yeah. But hit it if it's done because you, you know, you, you don't want your kids to be in that power dynamic or something. I'm fine with that. Just a couple of follow-up questions about that.
42:36Absolutely. Yeah. Is that all the way to 18 that they're unschooled or at some point do they get schooled? So they always have the option to go to school if they want to. One of my nieces. So at like 14, you could say, I don't want to go to school anymore and I really hate algebra and that's the end of it? Well, I've never seen it done that way. It would be like if my niece at 14 was like, I want to go to school now. I want that structure. I want to see what it's like. But I have one niece who's in college now. She was unschooled. She's an artist. She took a lot of art classes and really developed those skills.
43:07And then she took the ACT, got into college to art school, and now she's doing that. So it's like it's sort of a choose your own adventure style learning, which I know would not work for most people because my sister was able to stay home with the kids and manage that. And she's incredibly smart. She has a master's in math. So I think it is really like homeschooling is nuanced. And I know there's a lot of people at homeschool with bad intentions and it's kind of scary. Yeah. And they're breeding like, you know, 14, 15 kids. Like the Duggars. Yeah, the Duggars. You know, did you watch that documentary?
43:40I don't like to go near that stuff. Oh, my God. I really love crazy Christian documentaries. I really love it. I'm watching this Mormon one right now. It's so good. See Your Lives of Mormon Wives. No, it's about a lady who goes undercover and infiltrates the Mormon camp. Jonathan, do you know Jonathan Van Ness? Yeah. He told me about it, so I'm watching it. But okay, I digress. But the Duggar documentary, so the wife gets down on the floor and they have these little booklets, these homeschooling booklets, and they teach. And it showed like a caveman with a dinosaur as its pet. And they teach that.
44:20Where do these kids end up, by the way? Where's the Duggar family? Are they in Trump's cabinet? No, a lot of them are in jail for child molestation. The older brothers molested the younger sisters, which is terrible. If it's like homeschooling and there's like no doors, Like the kids don't have doors on their bedroom. You know, just like, I don't know, like a more authoritarian style or like they do hit their kids. That's not for me. I think a more metropolitan style of homeschooling is fine. But cities just do it. Sorry. Cities do it better. Yeah. I think that's true. Okay. Had it or hit it, Trump's new wig.
44:56Oh, my God. I haven't seen it yet. But I'm going to say had it. Yeah. I don't ever want to see him again. My biggest issue with Charlie Kirk's assassination was how many photos of him I had to see in the weeks, days, weeks, months after. I don't want to see that guy on my phone. My phone's for fun stuff. That's where I look at hot people. And I want to see them and I want to like my friend's photos. Whether you're pro or anti him, I just don't put his picture in front of me, please. And for Trump, oh my God. That's his wig. More feathered. I thought it was pretty good. I mean, I hate giving credit where credit is due, but I thought they did a pretty good job with it.
45:30He got the Robert Redford. He did. He went in and he said, give me the Robert Redford. Yeah. I thought it looked pretty good. I mean, he's not very... His personal hygiene is so bad. It's bad. He doesn't blend his makeup. Rumors are that he stinks to high heaven. He's constantly farting and shitting himself. Yeah. Snorting Adderall, things like this, allegedly. Sounds like a... Just like a 20-something finance guy. Shitting his pants in. Okay. Had it or hid it, Barron Trump. Oh, my God. Well, have you heard... You've heard my... I haven't. I have a bit about Barron Trump. They told me about it.
46:00So I want to hear it. And I'm sure my audience hasn't heard it. So let's hear your bit. Oh, my gosh. It's hard for me to remember the bit. But it's something about how Trump's a bad father because all of his kids are ugly. Like he's actually bad at fathering. Yeah. Because all of his kids are ugly. And it doesn't matter who he breeds with. This isn't part of the joke, but this is the thought behind it. It doesn't matter. His genes are so bad that he will make ugly children with any woman. And Barron was kind of his last chance, but he's 6 '7", and he's balding already. So it's not looking good.
46:29Unfortunately, it's – how many kids does he have? Like 15, 16? A lot, yeah. And they're all just uglier than the one before. According to my new podcast that I just started with you mid-podcast of this, they're actually all Elon Musk's kids. Yeah, of course. So then I guess Trump can use that and say like actually they're not – actually he would probably like that because then you could say like they're not mine. Did you know that during Trump 1.0, he famously told one of his aides, because they all leaked, that he didn't want to be photographed next to Tiffany because she was fat? And then this is the family.
47:04Of all the reasons to not want to be photographed next to Tiffany. That wouldn't be in my first 100 reasons, I don't think. I agree. Okay. Moving along. Had it or hid it. Big titty, Brian. Ooh. Had it. Yeah. Yeah. Can we pull them up? Yeah. Can we pull up Big Titty Brian? You know, he told his dominatrix on OnlyFans that he wanted to be a trans bimbo slut, which I support. Of course. That's the thing that's so frustrating about it, too. I support Big Titty Brian more than Big Titty Brian supports Big Titty Brian. I support Big Titty Brian's right to transition and live life happily in whatever that looks like.
47:44That's Big Titty Brian. And the nipples so askew. See, this is what happens when you don't have access to the LGBTQ plus community. Like here, you know, the pink panties. And then, you know, it looks like he's probably going and barring some of Christy's stuff because Christy is out fucking Corey Lewandowski. Christy's new face, by the way, if I paid all that money for a new face and I got that. Yeah. I'm asking for a refund. The magnification of her is so fascinating to me. Because if you look at old pictures of her, she just looks like a Minnesota mom with that haircut. Do you know about all the old pictures of her when she was a governor?
48:23No. Well, I've only seen a few, like her little portraits. When she was governor of South Carolina, not South Carolina, South Dakota, you would think that - Even more random, by the way. Yeah. Even less impactful. Totally. So you'd think, okay, she was doing governor stuff and we know about cricket. She shot cricket. She shot cricket. Nobody talks about the goat, but she also shot their goat. But let's get all of that aside. She's a cowgirl. She's running a ranch. She's the governor, et cetera. Well, a listener messaged us that all of this cosplay that she was doing in the Trump regime wasn't new and encouraged us to dig around and find all of these other cosplays she did while she was governor.
49:07And what we found was absolutely breathtaking in its diversity and scope of what this woman accomplished and what she did. Okay. Oh, it's literal cosplay. So while she is the sitting governor, and again, I want you to imagine, listener, I want you to imagine your current governor. Here she is dressed up as a nurse, and here she is dressed up as an electrician. But wait, wait, go back. She has pigtails. Yeah. Electrician with pigtails. Female electrician too, by the way. Now think about these being advertisements for porn, like an old DHS, VHS cover. All right, now go to the next. Here she is dressed up as an accountant.
49:53And this is mid-transition. This is mid-transition from old face to new face. Yes. Right? Because this isn't where she totally landed. No. But she has the hair extensions and she's definitely got some lip filler happening. Yeah. Okay, cool. accountant. Here she is as a firefighter. What are these being used for? Where are these ending up? What's their intention? These were her campaign ads for governor. Okay. Moving along. Here we have her as a construction worker and a highway patrol woman. Here she is as a welder. Okay. Here she is as a cowgirl. Yeah. Which is one she likes to visit. Well, she's herding bison.
50:35Can you see? With her cow. I mean her horse. And here we have her. Oh, okay. So this is post gender affirming care. Yes. This is, oh yeah, no, this is more of the stuff I've seen. This is the stuff, but. The performance. Oh, meth, we're on it. This is not real. This is not real. Meth, we're on it. Mary Beth, she did a whole campaign as the governor of South Dakota to eradicate meth. And the brain trust surrounding this woman came up with the current slogan of meth. We're on it. And I have a commercial to show you. Please. Oh, cool.
51:21I'm on meth. I'm on meth. I'm on it too. So am I. So am I. I'm on meth. Meth is not someone else's problem. It's everyone in South Dakota's problem. And we need everyone to get on it. I'm on it. I'm on it. I'm on it too. Not the kids. Leave the kids out of this. So this is her, okay. That's her premier policy aside from the, yeah. I would love to see the numbers on that. how much it impacted the number of people in South Dakota that were on meth. Because to me, it's actually encouraging people to try it. That's what I think. When I was growing up, there was a anti-meth campaign that was just once or not just once.
52:11I don't remember the exact phrasing of it, but it was like, if you try it, it's never just once. If you try meth once, you're going to become addicted to it. That was very effective and it showed people, you know, strung out on meth. If I see a grandpa kissing his grandson and I'm like, he's on meth, I guess it's not that bad. Like it's not to be, so I could try, I mean, you could try it. So when I was young, the commercial was this, this was in the eighties. It was a skillet and it said, this is your brain on drugs. Yeah. This is your brain on drugs. Any questions when we're all like, oh my God, we don't want our brain to fry.
52:45And that was it. That was good enough. Of course, naturally I went to college and tried a bunch of drugs. Well, of course, not meth though. No, never. I did it accidentally once. And I don't, it was accidental because the campaign worked. I stayed away from it my whole life. But a couple of summers ago I did some MDMA and I didn't sleep for a while. And then we tested it and it did, it had meth in it. So you're on it. So meth, I'm on it. Mary Beth Barone, this has been such a treat, Such a fun way to talk about politics. Thank you for having me. I hope everybody found it therapeutic. Do me a favor and go support the beautiful, wonderful, smart, and forever saved Catholic, even though she condemns it and did a lot of Catholic bashing on this episode, particularly about that sex scandal.
53:30But that's neither here nor there. Go watch her as Grace on Amazon's Overcompensating. But the biggest thing is support her new stand-up special, Galaxy Brain. It's streaming right now on Netflix. Mary Beth, thank you so much. It's been a pleasure. I loved it. Thank you. Thank you. You have my vote. Oh, good. Thank you.
