In short

The hosts discuss Melania Trump’s speech remarks about Donald Trump, then pivot to claims about Kash Patel’s conduct as FBI director—especially an Atlantic investigation alleging he distributed personalized whiskey bottles with an FBI seal, threatened staff over missing bottles, and abused his authority. They also argue Patel’s thin skin and retaliation against press reflect broader authoritarian behavior, and they add commentary on Trump’s foreign-policy reversal regarding the Strait of Hormuz.

04Melania Trump is trying out being a comedian in the White House. Let's play the clip. Most know my husband as the strong commander in chief, but his empathy transcends the role and shape a caring leader who constantly remembers each and every American soldier is someone's child. Yeah, he does. I think this is the guy that called them suckers and losers. This is the guy who refused to lower the flags for John McCain. This is the guy who said John McCain was a loser because he got captured and was a POW. And this loser lied and made up bone spurs and dodged the draft while hundreds of thousands of brave, brave young Americans without rich daddies had to go over there and die or come back with injuries and PTSD.

04So it's just fascinating. you always think like, what does she see in him? But always like with Katie Miller or Stephen Miller, the question can go both ways. Like I wouldn't want to remove all sexism and misogyny from this. My question is, what does he see in her? Besides she's a lot more attractive than he is. And the same with Katie and Stephen, I don't know which one is worse. Here's the thing on Melania. I find it interesting that she goes up there when she gives the speeches and she describes what he is not exactly. Like he's a unifier. Well, that's objectively false. He has empathy. That is objectively false.

46He cares about the troops. He could give two shits about the truth. Its actions speak louder than words. And I thought it was funny. I didn't know if people were laughing that he was being such a dipshit up on stage or when she said he just is so empathetic, everybody kind of busted out laughing like, Like, who the fuck are you talking about? We're not talking about the same person. Yeah, I think that there was a little bit of both of that. I think there was a first a snicker, like he's empathetic. And then he, and then of course he, you know, is like, because they all know it's all bullshit on some level.

21And we're learning more about Cash Patel and how badly he is abusing his role as FBI director. Ms. Now reports the following pop this up. Exclusive with Carol Lenning, sources tell us the FBI is investigating a journalist in an effort to find her sources for a critical article about Kash Patel. Here's what fascinates me so much about all of this. These people want to be badasses, but they have thin skin. And, you know, we get out every day on these airwaves and I get just a deluge of you're a dumbass, you're a libtard, you're unattractive. I hate your guts. You're a C-U-N-T. I think absolutely nothing of it.

11It doesn't impact my life in the least bit because I'm a big girl that pulls up here voluntarily. So it's fascinating to me that somebody who is so thin skinned and so revenge oriented would find themselves in this type of role. And the reporter, her name is Sarah Fitzpatrick. And her story was about Patel. And it prompted Patel to file a$250 million lawsuit against the Atlantic. And The Atlantic responded, pop this up, statement from The Atlantic's editor-in-chief, Jeffrey Goldberg. If confirmed to be true, an FBI criminal leak investigation targeting our reporter would represent an outrageous attack on the free press and the First Amendment itself.

58We will defend The Atlantic and its staff vigorously. We will not be intimidated by illegitimate investigations or other acts of politically motivated retaliation. We will continue to cover the FBI professionally, fairly, and thoroughly. And we will continue to practice journalism in the public interest. Angie. So here's in response to your question, like how are these thin-skinned people? In my mind, the reason they get so mad is they know it's true. It hits all of their insecurity. And to go after the press, first of all, you know, they've raided a Washington Post reporter's home looking for evidence.

44They know that Kash Patel is a weak, pathetic, incompetent leader. And this lawsuit is that like a neon sign. I know it's true. I know it's true. I'm going to try to prove it's not. Everybody knows. I mean, this guy was a podcast host just 24 months ago. He had absolutely zero experience to run the FBI. And I just might remind people, Bill Barr was asked by Trump in Trump 1.0 to put, I'm sorry, to put Kash Patel in a position of prominence at the FBI. And Bill Barr, Bill Barr said he was not qualified. That's how low the bar is here. And the FBI responded to The Atlantic. Let's pop this up. Exclusive with Carol Lenning.

39That was that report. And then Ben Williams says the journalist is not being investigated. False. Every time there's a publication of false claims by anonymous sources that gets called out, the media plays the victim via investigations that do not exist. The problem with MAGA is they don't understand that anonymous sources via journalists have been vetted, like Watergate, Deep Throat. These people have been vetted and investigated. If you think to 60 Minutes, one of our greatest shows in American history, quite honestly, if you look at their takedown of the lies from the tobacco industry, And what an integral role that journalism plays in keeping people safe, keeping democracy safe, holding corporations and their lies accountable.

30A lot, the majority of investigations like these are done with anonymous sources. MAGA is so stupid and they do not understand critically thinking. They think somebody's prank calling the Atlantic and saying, Kash Patel is getting all liquored up. you ought to write a story on it. And they're like, Oh my God, we just got an anonymous tip. Cash Patel's an alcoholic. That's not how this works. But in MAGA, where critical thinking, intellectual thought, anything beyond instant gratification, they can't understand because in their mind, an anonymous tip is just a prank caller. And then hours later, the same reporter who Cash is investigating broke this story the same day, pop this up, breaking from the Atlantic cash Patel has given out bottles of a personalized whiskey to FBI staff as well as civilians he encounters in his duties according to eight people including current and former FBI and Department of Justice employees and others who are familiar with Patel's distribution of the bottles here's what's so great about this this is the way you have to treat fascists.

41Do not cower. Do not whimper. Do not go, oh my God, they're filing a lawsuit. Double down, triple down. They're liars. They make shit up. Kash Patel is a raging dipshit alcoholic who is using taxpayer money to fly his girlfriend around on a private plane to go watch weird UFC alpha male fight shit and promote her country music career, which nobody's ever heard a song of hers. And he has FBI agents acting as the designated drivers for Alexis, his girlfriend and her friends. When you look at this, so we have an FBI director that is so ridiculously incompetent that once this Atlantic story was published, according to the reporter, people were coming out of the woodwork to confirm her reporting.

31And nothing says, I'm not a big drinker and I don't have a problem with drinking by having your very own line of booze that you carry that has the FBI seal on it. I wish, Jennifer, would you please describe this bottle as you are our dramatic reader? Well, it's this for the listener, for those of you that aren't watching on YouTube, It's a bottle of whiskey and it says director cash Patel with like a, a badge, you know, like I'm a big boy badge. And so that is in the circling around the logo. And then below that, he, just in case anybody didn't get that in the logo, they repeat it again, cash Patel, FBI director.

18And I want you to think about the bedwetting going on with James Comey right now. Right. He put with seashells, 8647. The stage five meltdown of these thin skinned men is just on complete parade. I mean, they're bedwetting all over the DOJ. It's a stupid case. It's ridiculous. And imagine if anybody in Obama or Biden's FBI, Fox News is so selectively sanctimonious. sanctimonious. Magga people are so selectively sanctimonious. They're fine with all of this, but hide and watch. Kash Patel, the minute he gets fired, all the racism from Magga will be unleashed on him. I mean, he is a man of Indian descent who is carrying the water for the patriarchy.

08He is surrounded by a bunch of really wealthy people and the inferiority complex that he has both from not being as rich as all of the other people in the cabinet and being brown-skinned is massive. So he's trying to make up for it here and there. He's on the chopping block. I think Trump is going to shit canning. And then you're going to see a deluge of racism unleashed onto him. And then Sam Stein has this analysis. I thought this was great. Sued by Patel. And after news broke that the FBI is investigating her piece, she drops this. And that's when she dropped the whiskey bottle. And this is just a masterclass in how to fight fascists.

51If you look at the court cases of the people who didn't bend the knee, like law firms, media, et cetera, when they went to court, they won. When you look at the people who bent the knee, they're still trapped in having to bend the knee more and more and more because Donald Trump's ego is a bottomless pit that will never be satiated ever. So good on this reporter at the Atlantic, good on her editor and the owner for giving her the backup to say, we will not bend the knee. We will not play patty cake with fascists. Cash Patel is getting all liquored up. He's passing out liquor bottles. He's in an incompetent fool and they desperately, desperately think they can intimidate people like this.

38And it just takes a few to stand up and courage can also be contagious. No, I agree with that. And my question, if I were a reporter, I would want to know what the source of funds was for these bottles to be printed with the FBI seal and his FBI director title, because I'm guessing that the United States taxpayer paid for that shit. I mean, I would bet my left arm that that's what's happening because these people, all they know is just, I'm going to do whatever I want to do and everybody else is going to pay for it and I don't give a shit. So that's an investigation I'm looking out for. I don't know about you guys, but sometimes I really struggle with brain fog and feeling groggy in the morning and I can get really sensitive to caffeine always making me feel jacked up and jittery and anxious.

The waste, fraud, and abuse from the Trump regime is at a level I think that it's just so staggering. And then here's some reporting from the article. In March, Patel and his team brought at least one case of bourbon to the FBI's training facility in Quantico, Virginia for a quote, training seminar where ultimate fighting championship athletes provided mixed martial arts instruction to aspiring FBI agents and senior staff.

11At one point, at least one bottle went missing, which caused the director to lose his mind. According to clients, Kurt Sudezak, I'm so sorry, you guys always butcher last names, a retired agent who has assisted FBI agents, including whistleblowers with legal issues. Sudezak told me that multiple agents contacted him for legal guidance after Patel began threatening to polygraph and prosecute his staff over the missing bottle. It turned into a shit show, he said. Other attorneys told me they received similar calls from FBI employees regarding concerns about Patel's bottles. I love this business about polygraphing.

58This is the stuff out of Vladimir Putin's Russia. They are so paranoid about leakers because ultimately they are paranoid about being exposed as frauds. Donald Trump and the January 6th was a big cover-up for how insecure he feels on the inside. All of Kash Patel's blustering here, his incompetence, is because he knows deep down if you hooked Kash Patel up to a polygraph and said, are you qualified to be the director of the FBI? And if Kash Patel answered yes, he would fail the polygraph. Same with Donald Trump. Are you qualified to be president of the United States? He would say yes. He would fail that polygraph exam.

47So, so much of what they do is absolute projection. And I just look at, I mean, it's funny to me that we're polygraphing over a bottle of booze. Okay. But the reality is we have taken the premier federal law enforcement agency in the United States, and we have pulled agents off trying to solve and prevent crimes to go through and mark Trump in the Epstein files, to go through and figure out who's going to find Kash Patel a jacket with FBI on that's small enough for him. Who is going to drink from the bottle? These are qualified people removed from investigations because we're dealing with these absolute dipshits and just want to point out, you know who else has given polygraphs hand over fist because they're insecure in their manhood?

41Pete Hexeth. Shocker. Speaking of the Department of Defense, yesterday, Angie, in the episode where we're talking about stories being linked to Axios, it's always Axios. And then somebody's gaming the market. And you said that. I bet they're gaming the market yesterday. And then sure enough, like two hours after we recorded that, somebody shorted the market on that announcement that was leaked through Axios and made tens of millions of dollars. So you called that. We're learning more about Trump's reversal on guiding ships through the Strait of Hormuz. And it had nothing to do with any type of deal with Iran.

21Let's pop this up. NBC News is reporting Trump's abrupt U-turn on a plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz came after Saudi Arabia suspended U.S. access to its bases and airspace. So basically, in review, Trump has taken our federal government, turned it into a crime syndicate, wherein he is the mob boss. He has made$6.5 billion and counting. His sons, Dumb and Dumber, have made hundreds of millions, if not close to billions of dollars. Even Barron Trump has made several hundred million dollars. His son-in-law, Jared Kushner, who is about as qualified in foreign policy as my pinky, is making billions of dollars.

10His golf buddy, Steve Whitcoff, is making billions of dollars. And all of the deep state that they told you they were going to get out, they're putting those people in. All the waste, fraud, and abuse they told you they were going to extract from the government was going to run so efficiently, they are the wasters. They are the fraudsters. And they are the abusers. All right. Please do me a favor. Pre-order my book. Not today, fascist, wherever you get your books, it is linked in the bio. I go through the link between authoritarian people, authoritarian religions, authoritarian parenting as a direct pipeline to authoritarian governments.

44Fascinating stuff. It's a great way to support us. We'll be back later with more news.
