In short

The episode argues that Republican politics is driven by propaganda, authoritarianism, and low critical thinking, and claims the electorate will keep backing unqualified candidates. It discusses Pete Hegseth allegedly considering a 2028 presidential run, with hosts saying generals criticize him and most Americans view him as incompetent. It claims Kash Patel’s FBI hiring standards are being lowered, citing allegations about prostitutes and bestiality. It attacks RFK Jr. (as HHS secretary) for denying measles deaths in Pennsylvania and for anti-vaccine messaging. It alleges Melania Trump has a “dark past,” including claims by Amanda Ungaro that Melania’s introduction to Donald involved Jeffrey Epstein, and that Paolo Zampoli was tied to a UN passport-selling corruption scheme. Notable examples include measles/MMR denial, “voter fraud” claims, and right-wing defense of Melania and Trump’s marriage. No clear guest bios are provided; the transcript is mainly hosts discussing these topics.

04All right, Pete Hegseth wants to run for president because why not? I mean, in America, we have shown that you can be wholly unqualified, sociopathic, mentally ill, deranged, and all of these things and still get 77 million votes. You can even be a convicted felon, an adjudicated rapist, and in the middle of a child sex ring, and you can still get 77 million votes. So why not, Pete Hexeth, pop this up. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has told close friends and associates that he is considering a run for president in 2028, according to two people familiar with the conversations. Angie. I look at this and I think delusions of grandeur.

49He clearly lives in the same information bubble that Trump lives in, despite the fact that we know people inside the military, high-ranking generals are saying, you are fucking this beyond all recognition. He has surrounded himself with so many sycophants and influencers and religious zealots that he actually believes that the American people believe he is competent to run for president when over 70 % of the people think he is incompetent in his current role. And that number continues to go up. So I'm with you. Let's see it. I hope he gets the nomination because he is the easiest target that I personally have seen other than like Trump, of course.

38Here's my problem. Trump won in 2016 and in 2024. Tens of millions of people. So for us, for you and me, and for all of our beautiful listeners, yeah, it's like, let's run him. This guy's a moron. He's an idiot. There's no way he'll win. But I said the same thing about Donald Trump in 2016. And I said the same thing about Donald Trump in 2024. So we have an electorate problem. Right. And as we move past this, like, let's say let's say these things happen. Let's say that we have a blue tsunami. And then let's say we get a Democrat in in 2028. We have a cultural problem. And we have and within that cultural problem is a lot of Americans wake up every day and tune into Fox News and say lie to me.

27A lot of people wake up every day and tune into, you know, Alex Jones or Tucker Carlson or other people. And there is an appetite for propaganda, I guess, and feeling like there is a problem within disagreements with other Americans. The difference between the Republicans and the Democrats right now is like they want to stamp out liberalism and progressivism entirely. And I was thinking about it over the weekend. In order for us to really recover as a country, the Democrats are going to have to stamp out MAGA completely. There's no way around it. I mean, and when you have Fox News and you have all of the oligarchs owning all of the media, social media, where a lot of Americans get their news now from social media as the landscape has changed, I'm just so worried about what kind of leadership it's going to take in a post-Trump era.

35And some of the Democrats I see right now that are in charge just don't have that in them. They don't have the appetite to just go guns blazing and really stamp out a lot of this insanity. I completely agree with you. There are a few that maybe have the stomach for it, but so many of the establishment Dems are still, we want to have bipartisan agreement and all that. But I agree with you. The biggest problem we have in the United States is lack of critical thinking, not dealing with racism, misogyny, all of these DEI things that people are so angry about, not understanding where we got these concepts and what a true meritocracy is.

18I mean, we've got people that think that, you know, Sharia law is coming to the United States. I mean, I feel like we have to go back to the basic level of education. Like, OK, let's look at the Constitution. Banning books is not something supported by the Constitution. And the problem is you have that from an education standpoint. But then look at the Supreme Court. There is a cancer growing and the cancer is authoritarianism. And some people like it. They want it. Yeah, they absolutely want it. There has been something cultivated that the Republicans would rather own the libs and stamp out freedom because they want a theocracy.

02I mean, they're more in line with wanting a religious United States than any American Muslim politician I've ever seen. I mean, the American Muslim politicians, when you get to like Abdullah Syed, the squad, Zoran Mamdani, they are outflanking the Christian nationals politicians as far as personal liberties like you wouldn't believe. Right. All right. And here we have Kash Patel is setting new standards for FBI agents. Pop this up. At the FBI, hiring prostitutes from your employer or engaging in acts of bestiality are no longer an automatic barrier to getting hired. So we're seriously going to have like FBI agents that like to have sex with animals.

49I mean, is this do we have to wake up to this shit every day? This is what's so exhausting for me. There's not any redeeming quality in this movement. There's not an ounce of humanity anywhere in it. The Family Values Party. Here's what's interesting to me. You know, Trump always says, I want to surround myself with losers. The problem with the cabinet members that he hired, and I'm not saying it's limited to just this, but Kash Patel is such a bottom feeder. The only person that makes Kash Patel feel competent are the people in this group that are former criminals, bestiality, you know, had a few runs with prostitution, couple arrests maybe for insurrection, no problem.

42When you are so low on the moral, ethical, and intellectual scale, the only way you feel good is to be surrounded with people that are less than you. And we're seeing that in Kash Patel in all his glory. This is what happens. I completely agree with you. Each pillar of power is getting people worse than the person at the top. And that bar is already so low. It's just horrible. Okay. Moving along to all of these losers. RFK denies that Pennsylvania deaths came from the measles. Play the clip. Thanks. Yes. And it's an honor to be here with both of you today. So thank you. Secretary Kennedy, with the most recent deaths, two in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, due to measles related deaths, please tell me if you think the measles, MMR vaccination should be mandatory.

38You know, we're still trying to get information about the measles deaths, the so-called measles deaths in Lancaster County. I talked with the county coroner or the county commissioner this morning, and he says there were no measles deaths. That's just what they do. Deny it. You know, if it's if it doesn't support me or it goes against what I'm saying, it just doesn't exist. It's fake news. Oh, that's not real. I mean, it's just it's so fucking crazy that anybody would take medical advice from this man. It really is. Yeah. But it's been incubated since before he came. And you have a an assault on the media, an assault on science, an assault on facts for quite some time.

25And the Republican Party is always the one that does this. They're the ones who say voter fraud, voter fraud, voter fraud. Even the Heritage Foundation investigated voter fraud, the most conservative, horrific, evil, diabolical think tank in the country. And they couldn't find hardly any cases. The fascist project doesn't survive without the dismantling and the attacks on facts. And so RFK Jr. being Trump's HHS secretary makes perfect sense. And long before these two connected in 2016, when Trump was on the campaign trail, he spoke a lot about vaccines. And I remember my mother would call me and say, it's so weird that he's always talking about vaccines.

13Why does he care? I mean, this is a guy who's, you know, a big snatch chaser and money grabber and all this. You know what I mean? that's what he is. And so why does he care about this? Well, it was rumored at the time that possibly Barron was on the spectrum slightly. And the rumors were so loud that Melania even addressed it in the book. But the reality is that vaccines don't cause autism, but old sperm Right. Does. And then let's dive into reporting about Melania's pimp from Julie K. Brown. And you may remember, you guys, I talk a lot about Amanda Ungaro, who was Melania's former best friend who started tweeting that Melania was a hooker.

05And this is Amanda's words, not mine. And her ex-husband, Amanda's ex-husband, Paolo Zampoli, is a cover story to say, oh, no, I introduced Melania and Donald. When Amanda actually says that the introduction was through Jeffrey Epstein. So pop this up. Ex-Brazilian model with ties to Melania links Trump envoy to corruption scheme. Paolo Zampoli, a special envoy for President Donald Trump, was part of a United Nations passport selling scheme. that led to the death of a former UN General Assembly president, according to Amanda Ungaro, an ex-Brazilian model and former UN diplomat who had a 20-year relationship with Zampoli.

53I just find this to be, to me, it rings true because it is like, when you're in a relationship with somebody for 20 years, you know things that are going on personally and professionally. She was at the first inauguration. I mean, it is documented that these people are buddies, the Trumps and the she and her ex-husband. Zompolis. And for her to come out with, I mean, the passport scheme linked to the death of a U.N. General Assembly, to me, that just seems the links are not there unless the links are made by somebody in the know. That's what I think. Yeah, I think that there's just so much corruption everywhere.

40So much. And the Trumps are truly the worst impulses of the Republican Party. Every single one of their worst impulses blown up into this horrific caricature that is actually real and not a caricature. And they are governing us. And what's so wild, you'll get a kick out of this. So, you know, I say a lot that I think it's extraordinary that Melania in her documentary wanted everybody to know that she didn't sleep with her husband. Well, a friend sent me like an X thread over the weekend. And it was I was going there's a mini viral clip of me saying Melania wants everybody to know that she doesn't sleep with her husband because they really basically don't have a marriage.

28This was going viral on right wing media. So I normally don't read the comments over there because it's just like, you know, you know, you're you have too much Botox and all this stupid punching down shit, which doesn't hurt my feelings at all. But they were so they went to bat for Trump and Melania. They were like the threat. It was like they love each other. They have an incredible marriage. Of course, she has sex with him. I mean, even though in the documentary, it's 100 percent. Right. There are so many people in this country that like stand for the Trumps. And as I'm scrolling through it, I was like, this is unbelievable.

10I mean, there's all the footage of her slapping his hand. You can just tell when she's around him. She can't fucking stand him. You know, then I mean, that's before we get to Stormy Daniels and all this shit. And then Natalie Harp. They love each other. You were so offended that I suggested, which Melania is the one who put this out into the universe, not me, via a$40 million documentary. And they were like full blown mad at me because I said they didn't have sex with each other. And take away all that and all the reality. He's 80 years old. Look at his cankles. Like, it's so stunning. I am shocked by that.

47Not really shocked. But can you imagine that you were so vested in the Trumps that you had to say 100 % they love each other and are having sex? That's wild. It was really like I looked at that and I thought, okay, maybe it's a bot farm. But then I remember waking up after he won in 24 and realizing like, oh, my God, there's just so many people. and remember you and I were kind of on tour at that time, not kind of on tour, we were on tour, podcast tour. And I would notice on all of the flights, there was so much MAGA coded merch on men. Like, you know, the, the, the big boy shirts with under armor shirts with the flags.

34And then, you know, and the flag is like black and, and all of this like hyped up patriotism stuff. And so I think there is just, these people might admit, well, no, Trump's, I mean, I don't like his policies right now, but I don't regret my vote, but they're never going to vote. They'll never vote Democratic. But the people defending the marriage, can you believe that? And it was like, it was hundreds of comments and I was just, I was giggling and I was curling through it like, oh my God, like this is insane. utterly. And you're right. She's the one that put it out there. Of course. I mean, she, that's the one thing I'm going to give her over all the other people.

18She has a tinge of self-awareness that none of the others have. And her self-awareness might be related to her own narcissism. And she sees Donald Trump as an extension of herself too. And she likes the fact that he won president. She knows he's unattractive. She knows that sexually he, you know, undesirable, completely undesirable. And so there's just a tinge of self-awareness that in that movie, she wanted to let everybody know, like, look, I know he's not good looking either, and I'm not screwing him. And I'm not, and that comes from probably narcissism and her, you know, wanting to not look bad by having sex with him.

56But anyway, it's wild stuff. All right. Make sure you subscribe to this channel. And for those of you over the weekend that were trying to watch us on Spotify.
