0:00When do the images we see online become too much for us to handle? Job at Writers Theatre is an intense psychological thriller that skewers the insidiousness of the internet, the meaning of work, and the ramifications of a secret revealed. The off-Broadway sensation and edge-of-your-seat thriller about big tech and even bigger secrets is on stage at Writers Theatre April 9th through June 14th.

0:35All right, yesterday, all of the conspiracy theorists that are triple Trumpers, I'm talking Candace Owens, Alex Jones, et cetera, they're screaming 25th Amendment. They're screaming, remove Trump. And there's a part of me that's like, yes, remove him, get him out of there. But then I think, oh shit, J.D. Vance, the smoky eye sociopath, he is younger, smarter, more diabolical, easier to prostitute than Donald Trump, which is a huge thing to say, right? And Trump loves to humiliate J.D. Vance. And so he sends J.D. Vance over to Hungary to campaign for Viktor Orban in the middle of a war. Here is J.D.

1:20Vance at a rally for Putin's puppet, Victor Orban. Play the clip. We had a special guest that asks that I give him a phone call and we'll see. Let's hope he actually answers. So this is going to be very embarrassing. All right. I'm sorry. The person you were trying to reach has a voice that has not been set up yet. Okay. Try one more time.

1:51I get a good signal here.

1:57I mean, J.D. Vance is so embarrassing, you guys. He's taking it off speaker. It's progress.

2:07It looks like he has a light eyeliner today, not as heavy as normal. Look at him fumbling through this. Okay. So obviously, J.D. Vance, Trump, you know, loves to humiliate him. He loves to divide and conquer. A historian and scholar, my friend Ruth Ben-Ghiat, says that autocrats do this. They have two of their top, you know, lieutenants kind of compete against each other because they want there to be no clear succession plan. So J.D. Vance is trying to position himself as, I said no to Iran. And Trump goes, get your ass over to Hungary and campaign for Viktor Orban. And so here in this next video, J.D.

2:51finally gets Trump on the phone. Play the clip. Hello, Mr. President. How are you? Hi. Hey, J.D., could you give me a second? I'm just...

3:04Wow, that's so... That's so good. How did you have that? Hey, David. Okay. Okay. So he says first, JD, can you give me a second? And then he hears the crowd and then Trump's like, oh, wow. You know, first he's going to humiliate him, but Trump's own desire for flattery. And I'm sure JD Vance didn't get that big of applause. I mean, you saw how he was fumbling through the phone call originally. And so what's happening in Hungary? Why are American conservatives always going to Hungary? Why are they campaigning there in the middle of the war? Well, David Axelrod has some really good analysis here.

3:43Pop this up. This is truly unprecedented, says Axelrod, a vice president of the United States waiting hip deep in another country's election. And he is doing it on behalf of Viktor Orban, the autocratic prime minister of Hungary, whose efforts to gut democracy there were the template for Donald Trump's here. So think about this just politically from the America First perspective. from the, we're patriots. We like the constitution and the bill of rights. They aren't looking to the United States history for how can we make our democracy better? They're looking to Hungary. They are looking to a two bit dictator sponsored by Vladimir Putin as inspiration.

4:34CPAC has their conventions there because they are not America first. The purpose of this death cult is to dismantle American democracy. So all of these triple Trumpers out there that say, I love my freedom. I like my gun. They got their truck with flags, truck nuts. Or maybe they're just suburban people that just really love America, really love the individuality of it. The people you're voting for do not. They look to Hungary for their inspiration. And it's important to note that there are millions of Hungarians that march in Budapest against this government. And this is going to be, I'm sure at some point, there's going to be some sort of election fraud with this because Putin and Russia is Viktor Orban's template.

5:24And so Orban has dismantled in Hungary democratic institutions. He's rigged the courts. He's gerrymandered electoral maps and he's consolidated media ownership. That sounds pretty familiar, right? The country's constitution explicitly defines itself as a Christian nation. Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. Heritage Foundation. This is what they all want to do. And so here's J.D. Vance in his speech further humiliating himself. Listen to this clip. I just want to say something, one final observation about this election. What has happened in this country, what has happened in the midst of this election campaign is one of the worst examples of foreign election interference that I've ever seen or ever even read about.

6:13The bureaucrats in Brussels have tried to destroy the economy of Hungary. They have tried to make Hungary less energy independent. Okay. He's lying. He's completely 100 % lying and propagandizing in Hungary right there because he has an agenda. Who owns J.D. Vance? Peter Thiel. Who did Peter Thiel have a lot of communication with? Jeffrey Epstein. These people are not our friends. Jeffrey Epstein and Peter Thiel in emails were cheering on Brexit. it. Peter Thiel explicitly wants to dismantle American democracy, but he's too big of a freak and a pussy to put his own name on the ballot. So he purchased America's biggest prostitute, J.D.

7:06Vance. And now J.D. Vance is over there. When he insults Brussels, he's insulting the EU that is calling out Hungary for the Christian nationalism, for the dismantling of equality in courts, for rigging elections, for rigging the court system. And Trump and Vance see Hungary as what American conservatism should aspire to, anti-democratic, anti-immigrant, anti-free speech, and anti-LGBTQ plus nation. And remember when I had scholar Ruth Ben-Ghiat on this show, she said the through line of dictatorships is homophobia. And so you see that here. You see Hungary actively dismantling LGBTQ plus rights.

7:55What do we have going on in the United States? Oh my God, the drag queens. We got to ban the books. We got to ban the drag brunch. They want to go after Obergefell. Who cares? Who cares? Let gay people be themselves, for God's sakes. Otherwise, you got big titty Bryans running around compromising national security. And here's a screen grab from PBS reporting on Hungary banning LGBTQ plus events. Hungary passes constitutional amendment to ban LGBTQ plus public events. Hungary's parliament on Monday passed an amendment to the constitution that allows the government to ban public events by LGBTQ plus communities, a decision that legal scholars and critics call another step toward authoritarianism by the populist government.

8:46So this is where our government is looking for inspiration right now. And I went, Pumps and I went to Budapest a couple of years ago, had an incredible time. We were hosted by people that were pro-democracy, like all of us here. And they are desperate to get Viktor Orban out of office in the same way that we are, because they want to live in harmony and peace with their LGBTQ plus brothers and sisters. And it always seems to be a feature and not a bug of these anti-LGBTQ politicians and governments. This always happens every single time. Pop this up. A Hungarian politician who defined marriage as between a man and a woman in his country's constitution has resigned after police caught him fleeing a gay sex party during coronavirus lockdown in Brussels last week.

9:52Authorities say Joseph Seger, 59, clambered out of a window and shimmied down a gutter pipe to escape a police raid on the party last Friday amid a ban on large gatherings in Belgium. He was arrested at the seen along with more than 20 others, most of whom were naked or semi-naked men, according to reports. Local media say the party was a gay sex orgy, something that would be at odds with the conservative Christian ideology of Seger's political party. Well, well, well. And here's the thing. Again, have your gay orgy. Do it. I don't care. The problem here was we had a coronavirus virus lockdown, whether you agree with that or disagree with that, whatever, those were the rules.

10:45The point here is that always these anti-LGBTQ plus people, whether it be in the United States, Hungary, Russia, wherever, they want to ostracize and demonize the LGBTQ plus community during the day to score cheap political points and erode civil liberties. And at night, it's all orgies and shimmying down fire escapes in your goddamn panties. They're always fucking hypocrites. And here on this podcast, we are gold star hypocrisy shamers. So JD Vance, I have a question for you. Your benefactor, the person that has funded you and placed you in Donald Trump's administration is a gay man. So tell us where you stand on gay rights, JD.

11:33Where is it? Do you want Peter Thiel's marriage to be null and void? Because Peter Till, if you think you're going to put J.D. Vance in power and he isn't going to throw your ass under the bus, you're not the special homo. You're not. These people will turn on each other. And guess what happened to this guy in Hungary? Completely removed from government like it never happened. And they continue on with the hypocrisy. They continue on with the erosion of civil liberties. And for MAGA, this is inspiration. And I just want to say to all of the democracy loving people in hungary budapest in particular where i visited this is not an indictment on you i feel where you are right now i feel exactly what you're going through because i cannot stand my government but i love america and i love being an american but i cannot stand this hypocritical government so do do not take this episode personally i've seen you march on that beautiful bridge in budapest i've seen the people take to the streets and support of the lgbtq plus community and we stand with you in solidarity to defeat this horrific regime and this pathetic man victor orban all right that's all we have please like and subscribe and we will be back later with more news
