In short

The hosts vent about being “done” with trends and modern annoyances: Instagram “it’s kind of chic” copycat humble-brags, adult acne (a zit in Jennifer’s nose), air conditioning, smartphone addiction in gyms/parking lots, and the lack of passport stamps. They also discuss right-wing media targeting Jennifer via Daily Wire carousels, arguing fundamental evangelical Christianity is a bigger threat to US human rights than Islam. They debate what makes a “good neighbor,” defending keeping to oneself, and praise New York’s walkability where strangers mostly don’t chat.

Guests

Kylie (recurring on-screen/producer/“chic hot lesbian”); no other named guests. A caller named Kylie calls in from Hawaii.

Key claims/examples

“It’s kind of chic” should be blocked; Daily Wire mocked Jennifer’s Botox and depicted her in a burqa; Scott Jennings beard SEO joke; examples include gym “phone addicts,” parking-lot idlers, and Reddit neighbor antisocial debate.

0:02Angie Sullivan:So are we supposed to start the podcast? Ready? One, two, three. Sorry, I wasn't paying attention.

0:15Angie Sullivan:Patriots, gay triots, they triots, black triots, brown triots, everybody that's cool, everybody that's hip, everybody that's smart. We love you. All of the fascists can do what, Pumps? Fuck off! Pumps, what have you had it with? okay what i've had it with is adult acne i i'm breaking out in all these weird places right now i have one inside my nose which i fucking hate because i can't pick my nose which you know that's one of my joys in life but i thought i was past all this breaking out i mean i haven't broken out what it is you know what it is you're horny that there's just a little a bit of estrogen in there and it's just like service me please service me please you need to get laid please please we're still here yeah so you think if I got laid that would completely fix it I do okay and it would help our podcast a lot yeah I need to do it it's been so long now it's almost intimidating the thought like do I still know how to do it of course you do I know it's like riding a bike, I guess.

1:24Angie Sullivan:Yeah, of course you do. I mean, I think the listener and I would just appreciate, you know, we're, we, we need this. We, we need this. We need to go over like you went on a date. I mean, this is like, this would be great content. I need for you to whore yourself out for the show. I know. And my therapist is on me about it too. I have to stop my glasses. Your therapist is telling you to get laid? Yes. We'll not get laid. He's, He's just like, the one area of your life you haven't worked on is a romantic relationship. But I'm like, isn't that optional? And anyway, so it's coming from all sides. Yeah, especially that zit in your nose.

2:09God, yeah.

2:10Angie Sullivan:Okay, I've made a list of some things that I've had. Number one, I've had it with that banging that you're hearing in the background, the sounds of New York. listener. If you hear the hammering, it's because they're working on the building right next to where our studio is. That's number one. Pumps have me crying. I have tears coming out my eyes from the zit. All right. Number two, always at this stage of summer, mid to end of August, I've had it with air conditioning blaring on me. I get to a stage in summer where my body's acclimated to the heat. And then I go outside and of course it's hot, but I'm like, I'm more acclimated to it.

2:48Angie Sullivan:And then I go inside and I feel like there's cold air blowing on me at all times. So I've had it with cold air blowing on me. And I know that's just, you know, completely ridiculous problem, but I just wanted to air that out. If you share with me in this, the over air conditioning of what's going on, here's something that I'm going to ruffle a lot of feathers about. Okay. There tends to be this stuff that happens online on Instagram. That's the main social media site that I go to. And once somebody does something, then everybody else feels like they have to do it too. And then it becomes painfully unoriginal, repetitive, redundant, boring lackluster and i'm sick of seeing it and makes me want to unfollow all the people that do it but the most recent trend that i'm talking about is it's kind of chic too and then they have and they're all humble brags every single one of them it's kind of chic to write a book called not today fascist pre-order kind of it's kind of chic to host a podcast with pumps in our 50s.

4:06Angie Sullivan:It's kind of chic to have a lesbian producer that's hot. It's kind of chic. And it's, and listen, to anybody that I follow that's done this, I'm not personally mad at you personally. So get your panties out of the wad. It's just once it, they beat it, they get that dead horse out. They, and this has been going on a month now. They drag that horse out. And I'm like, you know what would be kind of chic? To block you. That would be chic. It would be chic to block. That's what I'm feeling would be chic. So I want to, everyone that posts it, I want to take a picture of it and I want to have a 20 carousel slide, but it's kind of chic to block this person.

4:46Angie Sullivan:It's kind of chic to block this person for being a copycat. It's kind of chic to block this person for the humble brag. It's kind of chic to block this person for being an insufferable twat. It's kind of chic to block this person for being painfully unoriginal. Stop it with it's kind of chic. Stop it. Enough. Enough. It was cute the first two days. We're on like day 400 of this shit. Pumps hasn't been laid. We've got zits in our nose. Zits everywhere in my nose. Haven't been laid. I'm not chic at all. That's why I haven't posted. It's kind of chic to get a zit in my nose. That's what I'm going to do.

5:20Angie Sullivan:It's kind of chic to be asexual. It's kind of chic to be hot and bothered with your zips. All right. Welcome to I've Had It. I'm Jennifer. I'm Angie. She's America's top podcaster, Kylie. Hi, I'm the chic hot lesbian. Kylie, what do you think about the internet trend? That made me so happy that you said that. I feel the exact same way. I've had it. I've had it. Enough. They do it to every one of them. It's like taking a joke too far. Like remember Demir? It was funny one or two times, right? And then it ruins like three months of your life. Yes. And I just, what is it when people see somebody doing that, they think, oh my God, I have to do that.

6:02Angie Sullivan:And it's like, you really don't, you can let that person do it and you don't have to do it. You know what you are, Jen? You're a lion among sheep. What are you? Awful. Kylie, will you share with pumps? So I've been popping up on right wing media all the time lately or something about me that just like it's trigger city. I mean, I trigger them so bad. It's because you're smarter. So I got tagged in a daily, daily wire carousel a few days ago. I didn't see it till just yesterday. This is fucking hilarious. They made a whole carousel of me. Okay. So here's the first slide. Jennifer Welch, Erica Kirk's fundamental Christianity is a greater threat than Islam.

6:50Angie Sullivan:And then Daily Wire writes, seems like all the Botox might be going to her head. And what I would say to the Daily Wire is, thank you for noticing my Botox. It's very expensive. I spent a lot of money on it. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for that. And I double down in my life and my experience in the Bible Belt, the fundamentalist Erica Kirk form of Christianity, because there's so many of them and they've ascended to so much power, is far more threat than any sort of Islamic cabal of people because they are simply not organized to erode human rights in the United States of America. Next slide.

7:27Angie Sullivan:The next one is - Your arm looks great, by the way. Thank you, Pumps. My arm and my Botox. Yes. Which I've been doing a lot less. See all that movement? Oh, wow. I've been doing a lot less. And I've also been taking my hair darker because I don't want to look MAGA. All right, next. But the biggest threat I see to the United States right now is not the religion of Islam. It is fundamental Christianity and the batshit sect of Christianity that Erica Kirk belongs in. And I see the Republican Party wanting to subjugate women far more than I do any sort of Islamist cabal running the United States. This is just all they have.

8:09Angie Sullivan:All they have are scare tactics. Where's the lie? Yeah. Where's the lie? I think by the fact that they're posting it everywhere, it makes me think that they know you're right. I mean, they're defensive about it. It gets better. It gets better. I think you might write. Okay. So then they have the threat of Christianity and it shows like a marriage and it shows a little church and it shows some parents homeschooling and it shows parents praying at dinner. and then it shows the threat of islam and it shows the world trade center and it shows a bunch of women in like burqas and it shows like beheadings and i think like a riot or something but here's my favorite one here's the next one so for those of you that are listening they wrote jennifer's little podcast if muslims were in charge and it has me in a full-blown burqa i love it is that not the greatest thing you've ever seen shout out to daily wire i love it boy they're really on the uh sharia law thing i guess it's because they're close to election i'm hearing all about sharia law and trans people that's all i'm hearing about because everything else is absolutely they've fucked it up beyond repair so now we're gonna you know roll out trans people we're gonna roll out islam like shut the fuck up and i agree with you having grown up in evangelical Christian indoctrination, it is far more dangerous to me in my mind than Sharia law in the United States.

9:42Angie Sullivan:The Muslim politicians that I'm aware of that are in government are for equal rights for women, women having privacy at their OBGYN appointments, are for higher wages for all people, are for more freedoms. The Christian politicians I've been around, particularly in the state of Oklahoma or for less freedoms for people. So it just, I think they get triggered because it's like, that's their one propaganda. And of course, you know, a lot of these countries and, you know, like Iran and what they do with women and Saudi Arabia, I fucking oppose that shit. It's fucking bonkers. It's cultish, weird shit.

10:22Angie Sullivan:But the Christians over here, if you listen to Pete Hexas pastor, he seems all on board with all that shit. So it's just hilarious. that they're so triggered by me. I love it. Thank you, Pumps. Okay, I've got a review for you. This one is five stars. Simply a delightful listen. You enjoy hearing one of your aunts or best friends absolutely freaking going off on the government. Does it hearten you to see blonde white women talking trash about Republicans? It sure surprises me. In any case, I love this show. Keep it up, Jen and Pumps. Keep holding their feet to the fire. I got my mom on board on YouTube.

11:01We like to talk about red-armed titty babies. Pink-armed. Pink-armed. Or pink-armed. Whenever we're in the car. Anyway, Kylie, I love it every time you're on the screen or in my ears. You light up a room. I guess the dude is okay, too. And then this part really stood out to me. I want to talk about this part. And then she writes, okay, so also topic. Scott Jennings grew his beard for SEO discuss. And I sat and I thought about what did they mean? Yeah. so when you google scott jennings beard something different comes up his beard comes up instead of his beard his beard got it what is seo so seo is like the search results that come up on google search engine exactly and so you want to make things to control what shows up when you search can you show us what happens um yeah is it his wife i think it's just i think it was just It's like a joke, but that's why he's growing the beard.

12:00To be in line with his real life. But if you Google. His beard pops up now. His literal. His literal beard. It used to be the Fire Island staff. Right. yeah the thing about lady jennings is um lady jennings is i think like a walking talking

12:26Angie Sullivan:advertisement um against magamint because he's such a pussy i mean he just i've never seen i mean aside from some of the people on fox but just such a pussy i mean he's not even in in the administration i mean he's auditioning for it right now by the time this airs he could be announced as press secretary but you know he's doing all of this to try to get inside right you know like he's he's like no personal identity no personal conviction and he worships an 80 year old man that's wholly unattractive and unattractive and stupid it smells by all accounts Here's my thing. I was reading about Scott Jennings like last week that he paid somebody like every time you get me on TV, I will give you a cut of what I'm being paid.

13:18I would think he makes more money being on CNN than he and like his podcast or whatever else he does than he would as the press secretary. So it tells me like it's not a financial decision. He he wants it. It's not like he's going to make more money. It's like, I just want to be close to this regime. That to me is fascinating that you would trade in money and all that to go where he's going to shit on you the minute he has a change of heart about anything and throw you under the, and here's the deal. You might very well have charges against you at some point because of all the corruption that you're going to be aware of.

13:58And so it's just, I find, I found that fascinating that he's wanting to go on the inside.

14:05Angie Sullivan:yeah but i mean this is this is all of them i mean the most one thing trump is excellent at is luring in the most broken among us i mean he literally i mean he has pulled out some people where i'm like wow that's a person like let's look at stephen chung like that's a real person kylie we get a visual um and then uh he pulls in uh uh uh stephen miller you know and that's a real person who does, I mean, who like these are, these are like characters written about in a bad movie and they're running the government. And Donald Trump is really skilled at finding the bottomist bottom feeders in the United States of America.

14:48Angie Sullivan:I mean, people that I really am impressed that he was able to lure out of their shells of their bridge troll domiciles to, yeah, here's Stephen Chung and this is a guy who literally like does the White House communications that guy yeah makes fun of everybody's appearance and does all of this dunking on people that guy that guy right there has the audacity to uh post racist sexist insane shit and that's what he looks like and I hate I don't I'm not a type of person that likes to critique people's appearances but when it comes to fascists, I lower down that sanctimony and I want to just go all in.

15:33Angie Sullivan:And then of course, Stephen Miller, you know, is just such a cuck beyond all cucks that I've cucked ever. Um, and the fascinating thing about Stephen Miller is, you know, he, uh, he's just playing out some sort of personal vendetta that he has, I think from childhood of getting bullied probably by his own family and everybody that was around him. And, uh, in the federal group and Trump has just found like the creme de la creme of bottom feeders. He just loves it. I mean, he just, Stephen Miller, like he loves it. Wouldn't it be fascinating to get like people like classmates of Stephen Miller throughout his elementary, middle school and high school to just hear, I mean, I would love to know where the trauma originated.

16:24It has to be in childhood.

16:26Angie Sullivan:His hate. I think I've read this. I think there was a Vanity Fair article or something at some point. And I might get some of this wrong, but it was basically that he's always been a dick and nobody really ever liked him very much. I think he might have had a girlfriend that dumped him at one point. And then he's always just kind of been this white supremacist, elitist kind of prick. Like there's some video of him talking about, I can throw my trash on the ground because we have janitors to come. Yeah, he's on a school bus or something. I think I've seen that. And it's just like. And he thinks that like that kind of stuff is such a flex instead of, you know, like, I mean, when we officed in Oklahoma City and the building that I have there, my office building that I own, when I would get out of the car in the morning, I would, if there was trash in the parking lot, I would pick it up myself.

17:14Angie Sullivan:And Javi that, you know, the late Javi who worked for us, he'd run out in JW. You don't have to pick all this up. And I was like, no, I'm not too good to pick up the trash. And that's just, they want to streamline just like the worst attributes when you hear people say shit like that where 99 % of the people in the room go, what a dick. Totally. Yeah. Yeah. I bet he treats like nannies, people that work under him like shit. I mean, I bet he is a miserable fucking prick to be around. Oh, I'm sure. Okay. I have a story. A Reddit post sparked a debate about what it means to be a good neighbor. Pop this up.

17:56Angie Sullivan:Man calls out millennial neighbors for being super antisocial and goes viral for it. He and his wife moved into a mixed age group neighborhood a year ago. He wrote in a post on Reddit, on the Reddit board regarding millennials that has received over 7 ,600 comments in less than 24 hours. Since then, they've made friends with most of their neighbors who are mainly an older crowd of baby boomers and Gen X. However, more recently, the faces of the neighborhood have begun to change as the older neighbors have moved out and been replaced by a younger crowd. He describes his neighbors' habits of coming home and parking their cars in the garage until the next time they leave.

18:39Angie Sullivan:He adds that they never come out other than leaving the house to go somewhere or maybe mowing their lawn. The man tells the forum that it reminds him of living in an off-campus duplex during his college years because, similar to this situation, no one knew who their neighbors were or even cared to know. Now, most commenters disagreed with the poster and defended the antisocial neighbors, arguing that keeping to yourself is often the smart choice. They backed this up with their own bad experiences, including neighbors who spread gossip, kept tabs on where, on when they were home or expected free babysitting.

19:18Angie Sullivan:And I have to say, one thing I love about New York as opposed to Oklahoma City, there are no nosy neighbors. Right. There is just, I just don't have that situation at all. I, when I lived in a neighborhood with a garage, I did this. I pulled into the garage, closed the garage door. I don't want to participate in the neighborhood stuff. I just, I don't have any desire to do that. I'm team millennial on this that's minding their own business. This is a gift. These people are incredible neighbors, in my opinion. Yeah. Here's the thing. I was thinking about that. Like, I drive my car in the garage.

20:03I mean, what else are you supposed to do? Like, stand in your front yard and host a dance party? I mean, that's weird to me. I remember, this might be off topic, but I remember the very first hearing I ever went to as a lawyer. And I was still in law school. and it was a VPO. So people were trying to get restraining orders against each other and they were neighbors. They were fighting over the trash can, like somebody's trash blew over and it had escalated. And I just thought, why are you fucking with your neighbors? Well, then I thought it was such a novel deal. I'd never heard anything like it, but I say it's better to stay out of your neighbor's business because you never know when you've got a nosy Nelly that's going to take you swinging down to the courthouse and get a VP.

20:49Like I've never seen anything like when you are sitting on a VPO docket, it is inundated with domestic partners and fucking neighbors. It's crazy. So I'm like you mind your own damn business.

21:01Angie Sullivan:And I'm just going to say, because I haven't talked about this in quite some time, I guarantee you all of this is happening in the suburbs. Probably people in the suburbs are bored. Yeah. There's not a lot to do. HOAs. HOAs. We need more stimulation than the suburbs offer. We simply need more stimulation. In New York, it's a such a walkable city. And I, there's like, it's interesting because I lived my whole life in, you know, Oklahoma City that even if you live in the city, it feels somewhat suburban because the urban sprawl is just so massive. And then moving to a city where you are around people all the time, but nobody wants to fucking talk to you is so awesome.

21:53Angie Sullivan:I passed a few thousand people this morning. My walk to the studio, not one fucking person said one word to me at all. Not one word. It was beautiful. It was a chef's kiss because it's interesting. I like to walk by people. I like to kind of like, Oh, she's got a cute outfit. I wonder what's going on there. Well, she looks like she's running late. You know, I'm kind of doing this, you know, that architecture is nice. It's all this stimulation, but nobody, there's zero communication with anybody. And I love it. Yeah, I love it. It's nice. Kylie, what's your, what's your take after living in Oklahoma and now living in a walkable big city?

22:29it's so nice and i will now just go sit outside and you are entertained for hours because you can just look around at the buildings at the people watch what people have going on and the only time i've had strangers say anything when you're walking is compliments if someone feels like throwing out a compliment you you'll get a compliment but that's about it you do somebody

22:51Angie Sullivan:will say i walked out of the salon the other day and this lady goes your hair looks great but kept walking. Exactly. I was walking my dogs last night and a guy was on a city bike and I was about to cross the street with Tebby and Cha Cha. And he goes, I love you, Jennifer. I've had it. Keep cycling though. I mean, cycled the entire time through it. And about like just being entertained in these third spaces this weekend, I went to Washington Square Park, the one that has the, you know, the arch down by NYU. So the dogs and I slept down there and we sat down and there was a full blown and it was like 3 p.m.

23:27Angie Sullivan:There was a full blown rave and it was like Latino, Mexican, Latino style music and all in Spanish, but like electronic dance music. And there was a full blown DJ set up broad daylight and that's just half of the park and they're all jamming out. And then there were like the chess players on the other side and then they're like crazy, you know, like activists and all, you know, all this shit going on, but we just sat there and the dogs just were as stimulated as I was and we just we had the best time so when you do something like that you don't really give a shit what your neighbor's doing because you're stimulated and what the neighbor does is simply none of your fucking business like that guy worried about it what his neighbor is not coming out or when they're mowing their lawn or when they're leaving it's none of your fucking business right get a friend let me tell you one quick thing that happened to me jen you were talking about the guy that recognized you okay so I love when that happens me it doesn't happen a lot but i welcome it it is like my ego goes up to here and i'm set for like three weeks okay so i live for these i was on the phone with my brother walking in chinatown and my brother could give two fucks about my job right right so he doesn't know if i'm cool or not right this girl is walking by i'm on the phone and she goes kylie i love the podcast and then i turned to my brother and I go, sorry, someone was just recognizing me.

24:46And then in that exact moment, I stepped in a huge pile of dog shit. Perfect. Yeah. That's perfect. Yeah.

24:55Angie Sullivan:You're trying to show him how big time you were. Yep. That is perfection. All right. Let's take a caller, Kylie. Okay. Up first, we've got Kylie. Hey ladies, my name's Kylie. I live in Hawaii. love you guys so much you're just breath of fresh air love your insight kylie you're gorgeous but your girlfriend's even more gorgeous anyway just kidding um i've fucking had it with people sitting in their cars usually in a parking lot usually somewhere where i'm looking for a parking stall say the gym it's the weekend the gym's busy all day long i don't know why everyone's trying to healthy. I'm trying to get my ass to the gym and I'm circling the parking lot and all these dickheads are sitting in their cars, I don't know, playing with their phone or jerking off or, you know, avoiding their spouse, uh, sitting in their car playing on their phone.

25:52Angie Sullivan:I don't know, but with their lights on or their brake lights on, it's like, that is an indication to me that you're trying to pull out. So I'm going to be a dumb ass waiting for you to pull out. and then I'm starting a traffic jam and I just don't understand what are people doing in their car go somewhere else go home get out of my parking stall oh I have this exact same gripe it drives me fucking crazy like I can get in reverse my car inside 30 seconds I mean I am not fucking around it drives me crazy when I'm somewhere and I have someone gets in their car And I don't know what they're doing, but it's like they're doing, you know, they're looking in the mirror or they're setting their music.

26:35It's like it shouldn't take that long, especially in a busy, busy parking lot. I hate that. That is a huge I've had it of mine. So agree, Kylie.

Read the full transcript

26:45Angie Sullivan:I agree as well, Kylie. And it's the phones. It's the phones because this dovetails perfectly with a grievance that I've aired multiple times about smartphone use in the gym. And here's an example. You know, there is this very coveted machine at my gym where I think it's called the hip abduction where you sit, you're seated and you put your legs and you push outward and it's like for your butt, you know? And so, of course, you know, with juicy booties being in and everybody wanting a juicy booty, I'm in line for the juicy booty machine. I'm trying to get my old ass to get a juicy booty. But the young girls that really have juicy booties, they're always on there.

27:25Angie Sullivan:And they really do have great asses. I'm gonna give credit where credit is due mine's nowhere near that but nonetheless in between the sets they're on the phone and it all it never fails the girls that have the really good juicy booties also have like super long pointed kind of claw nails they're like coffin nail yes and so in between sets it's like and I hear that and I'm just like waiting patiently and then I hear the and then the nail and the hands when they use their hands with the nails like when I my hands are fingers are kind of curled as I do my phone but I guess if you have long nails your hand is completely straight so it's like very dramatic like this this this this this and I just start boiling.

28:17Angie Sullivan:Yeah. They need to ban. I go through so many things. They need to ban phones in the gym. I agree. They need to ban claw nails. They need to ban this person from the gym. I go from like, like, okay, wait my turn to completely irrational, kick everybody out of the gym immediately. It just isn't, I'm a nut. Okay. At least you're being inconvenienced. I I have this girl at the gym that I watch like I am a stalker. She goes in and she stands in front of the machine and is on her phone the whole time. I clocked her at 45 minutes the other day. Yesterday, I saw her on the leg press on her phone and she never pressed the deal.

28:58Now, I only observed her for like 30 minutes yesterday. But I was just like, why don't you just stay home and do that? But she will stand. And I'm like, why do you give a fuck? You're not in line. You're not trying to use that machine. I see her in the gym and it enhances my gym experience because I am just eyeballing her the whole time. Like, does she ever work out? I have never seen her work out on anything. I've seen. And the one time I saw her for 45 minutes, I saw her walk in. She hooked up the bar she was going to use. And she stood in front of that bar for 45 minutes. then she was on her phone and then she left and i was just like i find that so she's not exercising

29:40Angie Sullivan:no she's setting up the machine tending to her phone for 45 minutes and then departs the gym yes well i mean she leaves the workout area she might go to a class nosing around looking at other people or is she laser focused on the on the device ever looked up from her phone that so yes we've got a situation of a phone addict here is that it so think about it think about it in terms like this if you saw a person standing in front of the machine drinking vodka what would you think they're an alcoholic right yeah if you saw a person smoking meth in front of the machine for 45 minutes solely focused on their meth pipe what would you think drug addict right Right.

30:23Angie Sullivan:Well, you're probably right. I think this is a phone addict. That's what I think. I mean, she's here's I understand like you have your phone in there because you have your playlist. And if I ever need to look at my phone, it's for the playlist. Like I don't like the song I want to bounce, you know, because I like to listen to really hyped up dance music or hardcore rap music because that's really like good bass. you know like and that gets me pumped up to work out um but the people that are just flat out like the the girl that was with the long with the claws that was doing like this for 10 minutes in between each set um it's just instagram and i just think like if i owned a gym i would run a much tighter show i would have i would have hall monitors circulating listen you can have a 45 second break in between sets, but do not, you cannot get on Instagram.

31:14Angie Sullivan:And I want somebody getting in that ass going right up the phone and going, Oh, we've got an Instagram violator to time out. You go for 10 minutes. I mean, like we need to really start regulating people again. Yeah. I know that sounds psychotic. I know that sounds psychotic, but I really think we need to run a much tighter ship with this in social media. I, and I'm a victim of this too, or I, uh, an offender of this. sometimes I get on my phone and I have no reason to get on it whatsoever. Nothing. But it's just like this compulsion. And then all of a sudden it's on and I'm down some rabbit hole on Instagram for no reason whatsoever.

31:51Angie Sullivan:So I'm trying to do a lot better by just not doing that. When we were traveling on vacation, like I was hardly ever on social media ever. But this also goes to, I'm a much better person in Italy. I'm just a much better person. I am like, I am like, what you see now is like the worst version of me. In Italy, I shine. She's as bright as the stars in the sky. I played tennis better. I was a lot nicer. I got far less irritated. I, um, just everything about me was a million times better, which brings me to another grievance we need to discuss. You just went to Greece. I went to Italy. When you went through passport control, when you entered into Greece, did they stamp your passport or no?

32:43I wasn't paying attention. I don't know.

32:46Angie Sullivan:So they're not stamping passports anymore. Are they not? No, no. So we went to Italy and then also to the UK. I have a brand new passport. Brand new. Donald Trump on it? No, no, no. Okay. And no, I would completely get rid of my citizenship. A hundred percent. If that were the case. They are no longer stamping passports. And I've had it with that because I really enjoyed my stamps. Like going through. Yeah. I just, I don't know. I just, I like the idea that you get a stamp in your passport. It's stupid. yeah but it was just one of those little things like you got you were here and we memorialized it now everything's digital up in a cloud so i went through and like you know i did like my they scanned my face and i think now the eu has my fingerprints and probably my pap smear results whatever the fuck else they did when i walked through there right and but no stamp i'm like if i'm giving you my fingerprints and all this personal information about me stamp my goddamn passport.

33:48You can at least give me a stamp. I want a stamp. Yeah. I didn't notice, but I did notice coming back because I always, I'm very bad about like, I get my passport out and then I put it back up because I don't want to lose it. And that like, I was first in line, like we got off the plane. I was first in line to the deal and I'm digging around for my passport and he's like, you don't need it. You're verified. And I was, that's what, yeah.

34:12Angie Sullivan:Yeah. We're not getting any, any stamp so here's the little side hustle that i think the european government could do or even the america although i don't we don't really need a stamp to get back to the united states but like maybe they could have like for one euro if you want to stamp you go up toss a euro down and they stamp your passport you know and they could just make all that money it's just an idea that i have and i do need a kickback for that you if you do that but i do think you could make a lot I do think you could make a lot of money doing that. I just think it's kind of smart. You can't be the only one that's nostalgic about your passport stamps.

34:48Angie Sullivan:I really like those passport stamps. And I'll tell you something. Like, I remember we took the kids to Machu Picchu spring break, like, I don't know, eight or nine years ago, eight years ago. And when we got to Machu Picchu, which we're already in Peru, we've already been stamped into Peru. But there was a little place and we gave them a little coin. and I got in my passport and it had Machu Picchu and it had the mountains and it said Machu Picchu and it was on my passport. And so when I would flip through my passport, I was like, oh, Machu Picchu. Um, and I liked that, that it was just, I don't know.

35:21Angie Sullivan:I just feel like the digital stuff is convenient, but it's also taking away a lot of the coolness of, I don't know, just the tangible holding something and visually seeing like that it was stamped. I don't know. Maybe I'm just nostalgic and old-fashioned about shit like that but I just really like it I'm just really angry about it well here's the thing although you know when you could take all your stamps and then add them to your new passport so what a lot of wasn't back in the day like when you got a new passport you got I was never able to do that you weren't never because I always had to I had so many stamps I would have to send my passport to the state department have more pages added that's what it was you could add pages but so you got to keep your stamps right in your existing passport you can't transfer your stamps to a new passport oh okay see and i have a new passport right now with no stamps and i've been to two countries since receiving the new passport and it is stamp free it is it is as though those trips didn't happen and as i mentioned before i was my best self in both destinations i mean like fucking incredible version of myself truly like you would have been like, who is she?

36:31Angie Sullivan:She is not cynical. She is not bitchy or cunty in the least. My God, what a beacon of positivity. Good God, nothing ruffles her feathers. She would have just been like, I mean, the razzle dazzling that I did with my personality. And you know what? It was organic. There was no feigning being a good person. I just genuinely, Italy just brings out the best in me.

36:57Angie Sullivan:Absolutely effortless. It was effortless good person. I got back in the United States and it's just fucking the floodgates open. It's just all hell is broken loose. Yeah.
