0:02So are we supposed to start the podcast? All right, GayTriots, Patriots, TheyTriots, BlackTriots, BrownTriots. Everybody can fuck off that doesn't support those people. It's Jennifer with I've Had It Podcast. Pumps is late. We've been waiting for 15 minutes. Kylie and I decided to go ahead and start the pod. Kylie, what have you had it with? Where we're from, obviously we're surrounded by it. And my family is full of a lot of Christian light, but we are not allowed to talk about politics and we don't. And I do it for my own sanity, but it eats at me, Jen. When I'm by myself, I do these speeches out loud in my car every time I'm driving and I go off on them and, you know, they just build up.

0:51So I don't know how much longer I can keep up. An imaginary political conversation. Oh yeah. I do it all the time. I rip. You know what's so interesting about that? So my son, Dylan, Kylie, he moved back from Syracuse and he was on the East Coast. No evangelical Christian movement on campus there or really in that town. And he's in law school now at Oklahoma. And he said, I forgot that people in Oklahoma say it's impolite to talk about politics. And he said, and that's such a bullshit thing because they don't want to talk about politics because they can't hear the other side. So in the South, we've made it this polite manner type thing that you can't talk about politics when really the fact of the matter is your Christian light Republican relatives are incapable of talking about politics because it would question and put into question their worldview.

1:50you? Like I was at a wedding recently, had some drinks, right? I get back to the hotel, I get on Instagram, I see something that pissed me off about Trump. I sent it to family, which I never do. And I had this message and I woke up and I was like, you know what? Good for me if it takes a little liquid courage, but I'm starting to just not be able to keep it in. Well, I mean, I think that that is the normal evolution of this. And their silence is, in my opinion, dismissive of you in your humanity. Right. That's what we learned. That was a big thing I learned in Black Lives Matter was it's not just OK to not be racist.

2:33You have to be like anti-racist. Right. Silence is the same thing as the oppressor. And so, yeah, not saying anything is the same as being okay with it. I guess if I were you, it really hurt my feelings that people ignored that, number one. And number two, it would really, really, really hurt my feelings and feel downright dismissive if I was told I was unable to speak with them about blatant bigotry towards me and, you know, my girlfriend, et cetera. I will say I have had multiple family members surprise me and conversations have opened up to good things and like some enlightenment, even the megachurchers.

3:18And so those conversations have it's proven to myself that they are worth it, you know, so not to be scared to make somebody uncomfortable. Like you can have progress if you have conversations. I think that that's a really, really important conversation to be had because so many people just do not speak to family members to keep it civil. Yeah. But right now, the MAGA administration is declaring war on half the country. And part of that half of the country are lesbians like you and your girlfriend, Anna. Pumps has arrived. I'm so sorry. Um, but we, um, Kylie and I are talking about what Kylie's had it with is having to be silent, um, in front of religious family members.

4:11And, um, you know that that's a problem for me. Yeah. And so I just, I think this is something that's so relatable, Kylie, and I'm so glad you brought it up because I think as we are on really in fascism right now, and Trump is trying to consolidate power and he's scapegoating people like you in relationships like yours to tell people, this is why you can't have nice things. This is why our country is going to hell. Those are Trump's words, not mine. I think it's time for all of us within our personal relationships to sit down and have uncomfortable conversations and say, are you going to stand up for me or is money more important to you?

4:54And here's the thing that a lot of people have to understand about the Republican Party is there are layers to it. There's a rabid base that's indoctrinated and it's a cult. And this cult, I hold least responsible because they are so indoctrinated at birth into magical thinking, black and white worldview, spiritual warfare. And then you have the most insidious and the most evil. And these are what I refer to as country club Republicans. These are white people that vote for their tax bracket only to pay less in taxes. And they know that the base are freaks and they don't care because they've never been marginalized or vulnerable.

5:44And so they're able to vote and say, I don't give a shit what happens to Kylie and Anna. I don't give a shit what happens to black and brown communities. I don't give a shit about any of it because all I care about is my pocketbook. And I can't tell you, listener, how many, being an upper middle class, raised upper middle class, and now an upper class white woman, how many people go to church on Sundays and then they say, well, that doesn't really affect me. So I'm only voting for my pocketbook. And that is a huge part of the base of the Republican Party. And they're willing to accept the deranged cult.

6:26And they partake in bigotry, just like your silent family members, Kylie, because they just think if they have a tax cut, that's all that matters. I was raised like that. That's what how I felt. So it's exactly true. And you're also raised to believe that poor people somehow, not that there's any type of, you know, generational wealth that you have, but poor people are lazy. They're not doing enough. And you're entitled to more because you're special. Well, they also think a lot of country club Republicans, I'll refer to them. And this is promoted by a lot of the politicians. Well, these are the job creators.

7:18And so they have this sense of they walk into a room thinking they're carrying this big stick. And really the bravest thing and the most humane thing in Kylie's instance, talking about her family members, the most Christian thing would be to always stand up for the voiceless. Right. But they don't. And what happens is, in the instance of Kylie, you have the small town family who gave birth to a gay daughter. So you have Republican Christians that are breeding and they have a gay daughter. And so then you got to get to the nut cutting, you know, and you have to decide, Am I going to continue to be a part of these structures that dehumanize people so that I can have 5 % extra, 7 % extra in taxes?

8:11And a lot of people, sadly, you guys, have these gay kids and they're able to tell, oh, I love you, honey, but I won't vote for your ass. And that is, to me, so abusive. It is the silent abuse that white people do to their own kids. And here's what happens. white people for the first time now in Trump's America are finding out what it's like to be black. We're finding out that now that Trump is trying to turn the police against us and Trump is trying to turn the military against us and Trump is rigging the courts against people and taking away the rule of law. White people are finding out what the black experience has been like forever and white people are finding out what the gay experience has been like.

8:58And as we have become more multicultural and gay rights have advanced to an extent that Kylie, we can openly talk on this podcast about Kylie being gay. And I think it's an asset personally. I agree. And I like her perspective. She adds a lot of different flavor to my life that white heteronormative women wouldn't provide. And I've always sought the refuge of more marginalized people than the white privileged Christian woman ever since I graduated from high school. But, you know, these white people, because of multiculturalism and you have Republicans breeding and having gay kids and you have white Christian people marrying brown or black people, and then these white country club Republicans are having black babies.

9:52You really find out who the most evil among us are. And those are the people who will not, will not provide empathy for the people that they gave birth to. And to me, this is the moral sin of American capitalism right here, that people value money over their own kids. And that to me, I just, I cannot wrap my head around because as a mother, what I would do for my kids and how much I care about, I've always told my kids, I am your mom and not your friend. I am here to help guide you through things. I'm never going to be the mom that buys you liquor. I'm never going to be the mom that thinks it's okay if you're a bully.

10:41I'm never going to be the mom that, you know, gossips or demeans other human beings in front of you. I'm building character. And that's so important to me. And all of these little misogynists and all of these little bigots are raised by people. They are bred and raised by people. And so I think, Kylie, I think you're had it. It's such an important conversation. I think there are so many people in the United States right now who feel so betrayed by their family members. every single day. And it makes them question, how the fuck can I continue to love this person? I have to love them because you just have to, because they're family, but you don't like them.

11:22Absolutely. And your relationship isn't as deep because it's more surface because you realize this person that I love has no empathy straight up. I mean, that, and that's like, that's a really huge moral flaw to not have empathy for other people. And you don't realize it when you're in it, but when you are on the outside looking in, it's hurtful. Like it's hurtful. And one other thing I'm going to say about the country club Republicans, their privilege of being white and having, you know, means in most cases, if you're voting for your tax bracket, It insulates them from so many problems. For example, in Oklahoma, women vote against their daughters because they think, oh, it's fine.

12:13My daughter would never need an abortion. Or if there was some, you know, if my daughter was raped and got pregnant, I would take her out of state. So it's money that insulates them and it's a lack of empathy that they cannot. And pumps. We'd be remiss to say it's the structure that they were raised in that was set up for them because they've never been vulnerable. They haven't been vulnerable to police abuse practices like the black community has. If you're heterosexual, you haven't been vulnerable to bigotry from society or from your own family. in my interior design business. I have a woman who, young woman who works for me that she's of Mexican descent.

13:04And since Trump 2.0, she and her friend Maria will go out in very white Oklahoma city and they speak in Spanish to each other because they can. They're both fluent in English as well. And she said the racism is notched up 20 times. People have told her you need to speak English here. And, you know, there is just a cruelty. Yes. And I call on all these white women. What kind of kids are you raising? Get in their ass. See who they're following on Instagram. See who they're following on YouTube, what videos they're watching. You vet a babysitter. You make sure when you leave your kid with a babysitter that you're leaving them with somebody who is responsible and moral.

13:55But then you just hand them their phone and they're getting radicalized by Joe Rogan. What's his name? The guy that sex offender in England, Andrew Tate. And all this MAGA toxic macho shit. It's unbelievable to me that right now we are celebrating the villain. We're living in this fucked up movie and everybody in the MAGA movement is celebrating the bad guy, the criminal, and everybody outwardly celebrates it. But I call on these mothers and fathers, raise your kids to, number one, fight for the voiceless, especially if your kids are white and privileged. And my kids know, my two sons know, I would rather you make straight C's than be an asshole or a bully.

14:44That will be the end. That's where you will be punished beyond all recognition. If you traffic in right-wing media bullshit that demonizes people, you will be cut off financially. I will not tolerate it. It will not happen on my watch. I have a zero tolerance for misogyny, a zero tolerance for racism, a zero tolerance for homophobia. And what comes out of that is my boys have friends of all different colors, all different sexual orientations, and they always stand up for the underdog because it's a value that I instilled in them. And I will crawl up their fucking asses. And I can't even begin to tell you.

15:33I am not a helicopter mom. But if I found out one of my sons was cruel to somebody or heard a racist comment and didn't speak out or started following some of these toxic jockeys, you know, these bro podcasters, I can't even begin to tell you. hell hath no fury because I will always make sure that this offspring of mine advocate for the voiceless and the marginalized at all times. I will not tolerate that shit. I just will not fucking tolerate it. And I have lived that my whole life. Well, and it's just so insidious because the people that do this, that are the worst offenders are the ones that have zero ability to critically think or have empathy.

16:25The people that are supposed to teach this don't have it themselves. They think it's fine. But here's the thing. I just am not so quick to let people off the hook. People are able to pick when and where they use the N word, the F slur. They know, And I will not let educated, grown-ass adults off the hook because they are so relieved now that Trump is in office because they feel freer to be more racist, to be more homophobic. And all you need to know about racist is this. If they will say the N-word in private, but when they're sitting with a bunch of black people, they won't say it, they fucking know it's racist.

17:12And you can provide zero daylight, zero excuse for people like this because they know if they can cherry pick when they use it, then it's willful and then go into denial about racism. And those of us around these people allow it to happen. And in Kylie's case, to be silenced by your own family and your own family isn't fighting for you. I mean, when we dig into our emails and we dig into our DMs and even we get snail mail, it is story after story after story of a marginalized person that has found these two women podcasters that will not compromise, that will not throw them under the bus. And I just want everyone to know as we head more and more into this fascist regime, we will triple down, quadruple down.

18:07We will never obey in advance. And I'm just going to tell you, white ladies, raise your fucking kids better. Your sons and your daughters. Raise them better. The number one thing you should raise them is to not be a fucking asshole. I mean, seriously, it's unbelievable. Yeah, every time you open your phone, it's something like people being horrible to one another. All right. Welcome to I've Had It. I'm Jennifer. I'm Angie, the tardy one. Okay. We have some new stories we would like to share. The first one is, some people think Charlie Kirk's wife is actually Jean Benet Ramsey. After the assassination of Charlie Kirk, attention has turned to his wife, Erica, who says that she will be taking on the mantle of Kirk's organization.

18:53Immediately, people began to dig into Erica Kirk's life to figure out her personality and politics. Others started from the same place, then threw themselves completely off the deep end. Case in point, there is now a sizable contingent of the internet that genuinely believes that JonBenet Ramsey is still alive and is Erica Kirk. You guys, this is just bananas. Because first and foremost, Kylie pointed out to me before we did this, JonBenet's body was found in the basement. Right. Yeah, it was found in the basement. These These are the same people that thought John F. Kennedy was coming back and he was going to be a Republican.

19:31These are the same people that think that immigrants are eating cats and dogs. Yeah. You know, so there's this there's this sect of the American public that is so not intellectually curious and easily misinformed in traffic and all of these conspiracy theories. And now we have a fascist government. it. Listener, the hot book of the summer. I have it the wrong way. Take two. Listener, the hot book of the summer is now the cool book of the fall. It is in Trump's America, I can tell you with absolute certainty, the best book that has ever been written. And believe me, a lot of people are talking about it.

20:17Everybody's talking about it. Everybody's talking about it. It took us one day to write it. On day one. Because we took a cognitive test and it was book, write, done. All right. Anyway, please buy our book. It's a great way to support us. It is a really fun read for the fall. Curl up with your pumpkin spice lattes and just enjoy living the American dream and dipshit trumps America.

20:50So now we have a guest and I'm very excited to have him on because I want to talk to every politician I can at all times because I'm terrified of this, these fascist moves that the Trump administration is taking. So let's welcome to I've had it representative Greg Kassar. Hey, I hope you're not wanting to talk to every politician, but maybe some. I do. I have a list of some people I'd really like to talk to. You have like an Arya Stark hater list? Yeah, no, yeah. I have a massive, massive list of people I'm dying to talk to. Okay, so how are you today, Congressman? I mean, work must be incredibly boring.

21:33Yeah, I tell people when they're like, how are you doing? Saying good sounds weird, bad sounds hopeless. So I've been saying resolute, like I know what the job is, because it's such a crazy time. And so we're here in Washington, DC. But I've been saying that there's more mentions of Trump and the Epstein files than there are House Republicans here. They all like went on vacation because they wanted this government to shut down so bad because they just don't want to give people's health care back. And so we're here fighting and I'll be going back to Texas soon to go talk to a lot of folks about what we're fighting for.

22:09Yeah. I mean, here's the thing. MAGA Republicans, particularly Moses Mike Johnson, sucks. I mean, that guy, we could start talking about how badly he sucks right now and not finish until the next calendar year. It is unbelievable. I thought this, that moment where that congressman confronted him. Mad Dean. Yeah. Yes, her. And she said he is unhinged. And he didn't deny it. He didn't defend his lord and personal savior, Marie Antoinette Kanks. It's completely indefensible. Yeah. Well, Speaker Nancy Pelosi has one of my favorite quotes where she talks about how folks like Speaker Johnson go and pray on Sundays and then go pray on the American people the other six days of the week.

22:59Yeah. And it is he can't defend the fact that they are working their tails off right now to do everything they can to make sure that millions of their own constituents get kicked off of health care. Why? Some of them because they do want to get rid of basic societal programs that we set up in the 60s and 70s. But most of them, it's because they want that money for their billionaire friends. And that is so hard for them to accept that they refuse to say it. So if they get confronted, they just blame an immigrant, right? They just start mentioning a trans young person because that's all they got.

23:38And we've got to be able to break through that. I've never heard like the Republicans talking about trans people and gay people nonstop acting like that's the problem when they're the ones talking about genitalia. It's less than one percent the trans community, like less than 10 percent the homosexual community. But they're constantly browbeating. You're obsessed with it. They're obsessed with it. And I wish Democrats would say you're the one talking about genitalia. Well, I mean, Moses, Mike. I mean, this guy has a side hustle where he has the pray the gay away stuff, right? And I mean, he has this roommate or he had this former roommate in D.C.

24:17And this guy is this total Bible thumper who's connected to a guy who's funded by this multimillionaire in Nashville who funds this guy to go radicalize congressman like Moses Mike needs more radicalizing. But nonetheless, this guy in Nashville, I did a deep dive into all this. This guy in Nashville, when he filed for divorce, his wife divorced him, it was revealed in the divorce proceedings that the funder of Moses Mike Johnson's house in D.C., his wife claimed that he made her watch gay porn all the time. So all of these guys are like one degree away from gay shit, right? And here's my thing, Congressman.

24:56If somebody is – we live in a red state. You're from a red state. And I feel I have the utmost empathy for any person that's in the closet around these judgmental, hypocritical MAGA Christians that are sanctimonious and they need to keep their sexuality private. That's one thing. But when you wake up every day and talk about gay people all the time and you're funded by some guy that's watching gay porn and is with his wife so much so that it caused her to file for divorce, you know, you just kind of have to start asking, does the MAGA party have, I call it the DL demon queen problem, because I'm sure you've probably seen the reports that Grindr everywhere these guys go, whether it be the RNC or Charlie Kirk's funeral, it's crashing out left and right.

25:42Everywhere these MAGA men go, Grindr's crashing out. So we have these sanctimonious pricks trying to have the moral high ground with their convicted felon adjudicated rapist leader preach to us. And it's just, I guess it works with the MAGA base, but I think the American overall American public outside of that 30 % is a lot smarter. I think you make a really good case for universal therapy. Yes. Oh my gosh. Because you knew that getting taken out on people, you know, and I really sometimes feel like, and I saw this at the local level, the state level and the federal level, sometimes where I'm like, man, if you just loved yourself a little bit better 10, 20, 30 years ago, maybe you wouldn't be out here doing whatever you could to feel important by stepping on someone else.

26:33And the dangerous part is how so many parts of the mainstream media then sort of take these folks at their word when clearly it's horseshit. I'll give you the perfect example. And I want to critique a bit myself here as well as a long time progressive. But like during the first Trump administration, when I'd see one of these folks bully somebody in the trans or LGBTQ community, my first reaction oftentimes was like, those guys are being bullies and LGBT rights are human rights. And that's all true. And I believe it. But I think we do have to, like you just pointed out, call them out for what they're doing first so they can't mischaracterize us.

27:16And so the other day, I sit on the Doge Committee, mostly about government efficiency. And the chairperson is none other than Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, the Honorable Congresswoman Greene from Georgia. And so when we were debating the horrific billionaire bootlicker bill, I heard that maybe you renamed it like the horse shit ugly bill or whatever. Yeah, yeah, yeah. When that bill came up and the nonpartisan budget office put out their big report that said 15 million people are going to lose their health care because of this, it was that day that Chairwoman Marjorie Taylor Greene called a special emergency meeting of the Doge Committee on what?

28:04On semi-professional trans folks in fencing. Yeah. Not fencing like around your house, but like the sport with the swords. and what I you know my gut reaction is like why are you bullying these folks again but actually what we needed to change I think and what I'm trying to change is to make my opening statement about you're trying to kick 15 million people off of their health care they won't be able to see a doctor or else will go bankrupt and you want to distract from that so bad that you go to your psychopathic thing you always do, which is go pick on folks that are already struggling in a sport where I hadn't met anybody.

28:45I'm sure it's a great sport, but I hadn't met anybody that participated in that sport until I was in that congressional hearing. And that I think breaks through. And I think that better characterizes that it's their obsession and not. I totally agree. Well, and Fox News is so anxious to avoid the government shutdown and the problems with the Big Beautiful Bill, they're talking about how Barron Trump is a ladies' man. And I've heard Trump, since the government - I'm glad I don't have to watch that. I'm glad that you're breaking the news to me. Yeah, they're sitting around trying to avoid talking about the Republicans shutting down the government.

29:20They're talking about what a ladies' man Barron Trump is. Additionally, this week alone, I've heard Donald Trump in speeches talk about transgender. Now, obviously, it's the transgender mice thing, so he makes no sense. But that's their bread and butter. When they don't have policy. I think about transgenic mice, which is. He's still talking about transgenic mice. Yeah. But I want to kick back really quick. You brought up Marjorie Taylor Greene. And this is something that I flagged a couple of months ago. And I think this is a really serious problem for the Democratic Party right now. So we have a the only bipartisanship that I see coming out of Washington is AIPAC lobbyists.

30:01They have the leader of the House and the Senate pigeonholed people like Cory Booker. And then, of course, they gave$250,$300 million to Kanks. That's what we call Trump, short for Kankles. So they gave him all that money. And MAGA base is this real America first thing, right? And across the board, you see that the general public is just mortified and disgusted by Benjamin Netanyahu's war crimes and genocide in Palestine. And it's really been alarming to me that I don't see Democratic leadership making what is a layup shot. MAGA lied to you. They're not America first, Israel first. We're funding the bombing of these kids and civilians.

30:50And meanwhile, guess who has health care? Israel and Argentina, and your ass doesn't. And the person who is starting to make this argument right now is Marjorie Taylor Greene. And Marjorie Taylor Greene is a very dangerous, anti-Semite, real full-blown Jew hater. This is not a person that cares about human rights. She cherry picks. But in the vacuum that democratic leadership is leaving open by not providing from the top, trickle-down leadership, moral clarity from the top, the two top guys all the way down through the party. We're off the Israel tit. Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal. We're not funding genocide.

31:31Our party is leaving a vacuum for grifters like Marjorie Taylor Greene to grandstand and walk in. And I'm very worried about this come the midterms. Yeah. Let's talk. This is such an important issue, obviously an enormous life and death, war and peace issue. So I want to get to the Marjorie Taylor Greene point, but we'll start out with my position and the work that we've done on the issue because we have to stop funding the genocide in Gaza. And it is unthinkable that an administration, Democratic or Republican, would continue to fund it in my view. That's my view. But now we have actually a growing segment of the House Democrats that are starting to take the position that we are going to, we got to stop sending bombs to Netanyahu's government.

32:20It's in so many ways too late, but just a couple of weeks ago, I'm chairman of the progressive caucus, which is about half of the Democrats on the House side. It was the first time that any caucus has taken a position on this issue of we got to stop sending bombs and aid to Netanyahu's government. We took a position as about half of the House Democrats saying we're done with this. That is an important step. It's too late in so many ways. But I think it's important for the folks watching at home that feel like they've been advocating and calling their members and talking about it and posting about it.

32:58They feel like nothing has changed. I promise you, I want to tell you there is something changing in the Democratic Party because we've been, I think, on the wrong side of this issue for a very long time. There is something that is happening where you have half the Democratic senators and basically the caucus that represents half of the House in a different place than we've been before. And I just want people, I know we feel so hopeless and helpless sometimes, to know that shift is happening. Now to Congresswoman Green, I think you do point out that we cannot let the MAGA right start taking this pro-peace mantle when the Democratic Party should be the anti-war party.

33:38And you might ask me, hey, Greg, why have I seen in the news so much about Marjorie Taylor Greene talking about not funding the Netanyahu government? And most folks watching probably haven't seen anything in the news of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, which is literally almost 100 times people more than Marjorie Taylor Greene taking this position. And in some ways, it's because it's so shocking to people to have Marjorie Taylor Greene saying something that while policy-wise taking these bombs is right, she's coming at it from stoking up the anti-Semitic part of who she is, right? But that doesn't mean – and that's why that's got to be – her outlook on this and where she's coming from is obviously disturbing, disgusting and should be rejected.

34:21But at the same time, we've got to be able to be bold and say we shouldn't have sent those bombs and we should stop sending them. And so that's what we are working on is to transform our party from the party that I think just was too complicit, far too complicit in what has happened so far in Gaza. I completely agree. And I just know from living in a red state, and you do too, that you have people that are independents, maybe Republican-like, maybe voted for Trump one out of three, two out of three times, something like that. and maybe are conservative Democrats. And this type of messaging for people who don't follow the news cycle like we do can be heard in a vacuum and assholes have moments of clarity.

35:12And in a soundbite that is 60 seconds long where she says something like, we're paying, Benjamin Netanyahu is paying TikTok influencers$7 ,000 a post. And these people need to register as foreign agents. And she's saying this. If somebody just hears that out there, I feel like there's this, these grifters are going to start taking the mantle on this. And it leads me to how concerned I am right now in the throes of this shutdown that the Democratic leadership is completely divorced from reality as to where the base is and where the American public is. You know, what's interesting about doing podcasting is, you know, 10 years ago, you'd watch MSNBC or CNN.

36:02Nobody had a comment section and there wasn't a community. Nobody really watches cable news anymore. And you put your podcasts on YouTube and on other platforms and you build communities and you see feedback and there are threads and chats and blah, blah, blah. So you have a bigger pulse on what's penetrating and what's not. And what's happening in the beltway and what's happening with the Democratic base could not be further apart. And so with this progressive caucus of yours, which I'm 100 percent love that, love it. What is there? Do you just have to bend over and Hakeem's the boss and that's just the end of the story or because I feel like right now, like we need to just go big or go home because I just I'm not real happy with him.

36:50I think his leadership is just awful. Well, look, I want to talk about this. I personally am a supporter of Hakeem's while recognizing that the job of Progressive Caucus chair and of the Progressive Caucus is to push for a bolder and bigger message. while understanding that we're a part of a big tent party. And like you pointed out, I have more conservative Democratic voters as well. And we are trying to convince a lot of more conservative independents and folks that think differently than me of being part of our party because we need a majority to win. In fact, we need more than a majority to win given the gerrymandering that they have done and all the voter suppression they've done.

37:34But here's, I think, the answer to your question right now. There has been actually a divide that is, I think, during the Trump administration that is bigger than progressive versus centrist. And that is, are you a fighter or are you a folder? Yes. That is actually what people, when I go talk to people out in the streets, they're less like, oh, are you here on the political spectrum or there? It's more, hey, I see Bernie and AOC going out there and talking to tens of thousands of people. And then I see certain parts of the Democratic Party that are just going to dinners and fundraisers. And I want more of the go and stand up and fight.

38:12And we saw that difference in March, where we had government funding come up. And I think because we were able to unite House Democrats and because I think Hakeem recognizes that we need to be more in a fight moment, he was willing. And we all went and voted no on Trump's horrible budget. And it was actually Chuck Schumer in the Senate that led that to get passed. Your question is, is it our job to just roll over and give into that? No. And I was one of the folks that critiqued my own party before and after Leader Schumer made that decision. And I think because people pushed and pushed back and said they're unhappy with that kind of leadership, that now we have actually the senators largely holding tight and being willing to vote no.

38:58And now I think we need to show from millions of people across the country that we are willing to mobilize and say we should not just rubber stamp Trump's budget. We can actually make demands. We actually have voices we've actually got to say. And I feel very confident going to the mat every single day saying we have a plan for keeping the government open. And it involves everybody getting their freaking health care. and making sure that every billionaire gets a tax cut. And I'm happy to live with my plan and argue for it every day of the week. And I don't think we have anything to apologize for.

39:35And I think what I'm hearing from you and I've heard from so many people is there's a feeling that the Democrats always feel like we're a little apologetic for something. And we don't have to apologize for this position. No, and they're saying, oh, it's the Democrats' fault. Anybody that just has a Google can figure out Republicans control the House, Senate, and the White House. Okay, I have the question kind of changing gears. Of course, I want to get into the deep, dark bottom of Doge and all that. But more importantly, so you have all this gerrymandering that Texas is doing. I read this article that said Texas constituents, they believe there might be a backlash to this gerrymandering and that they think that there There will be more Democrats that win because of Trump's policies and, you know, blah, blah, blah, because he's fucking fascist and he shut down the government, but he's able to fund his$200 million ballroom.

40:34So do you have that feeling on the ground? Have you seen those reports? Do you think there's any hope for Texas? There is a big hope for Texas, but I also want to keep it real with folks watching, right? Because we can't just go out there and promise everybody everything, every election cycle, and then have this huge disappointment. We've got to build and build and build. So Texas already has one of the most gerrymandered and illegal maps in America right now. And they said, let's take that up to 11. Let's turn it up and make it even more gerrymandered and eliminate five Democratic seats. seats.

41:15They moved 10 million Texans to new districts. Over 75 % of that is people of color that they moved around. So it's clearly a racial gerrymander, which is illegal. And I hope that we do everything we can to block it entirely in court, and then they don't get any of their five seats. If they do pass the map and get it through the court system, and we know how messed up the Supreme Court is, then I think our job is to make sure that there's no way in hell they get five or four of those. Okay. I of course want to take it right back to Hakeem right where we left, because this is a huge issue. And you talked about centrists and progressives, and I agree with you that we have to be a big tent party and we have to have all of those.

42:03So when I see Hakeem, who is a centrist. And I understand, I used to be a centrist. I understand this. And I understand that for some people that are ethnocentric Americans that don't really know what's going on in the Middle East, there might be a gay person that lives in Texas or Oklahoma, and they see a candidate like Hakeem or Kamala Harris or Joe Biden as the person that's not going to deny their rights. And there are single issue voters on that. And I think we cannot silence centrist voices because I understand it being from a red state. However, it feels like Hakeem is silencing the progressive party when the Democratic primary happened in New York, and he will not endorse Zoran Mamdani.

42:48And at this point, I think it's harmful for him to even do it, but it pisses me off. That really pissed me off. The second thing that pisses me off about Hakeem, because if I'm going to be a progressive that accepts centrist, then he needs to be a centrist that listens to the voters of his own fucking state. But another thing that pissed me off about Hakeem is this vote for a day to honor Charlie Kirk. And I cannot understand. Did you vote for that? I didn't vote for that. Good. Okay. I cannot understand why we're still playing patty cake with these people. Charlie Kirk. I saw the shooting, unfortunately.

43:24I hate guns. I hate gun violence. I don't want anybody to be shot. Nobody. I'm against the death penalty. That's how much I am against all of this. But to then go and honor a person that is an unrepentant, racist, misogynist, homophobe, total just piece of shit, all of the stuff that he said on college campuses. I cannot understand why this is the resistance to this, why we're still playing patty cake with fascists. And then I also don't understand how black man votes to honor an unrepentant racist. So as you can see, and I know your hands are kind of tied on answering this, but I'm putting this out there because we have to move our party.

44:10You know, they moved Trump. Trump moved his base all the way to all this crazy shit starting from 2016. We've got to start moving them. And I'm just telling you, Congressman, this Hakeem thing is it is it's a real problem across the country right now in the base because we don't see a fighter. We see a folder and the folder is in this Charlie Kirk thing. I mean, do you think if she or I were shot that the Republicans would vote to honor us? Fuck no, because we play two different games. We play two completely different games. The Democrats are still playing integrity politics and kanks and his army of sycophants are saying fuck you motherfuckers even trump said the other day i'm surprised they're not fighting so hard all right let me i know you said my hands are a little tied and of course i'm i can be a polite texan that has to represent uh my hundred members but let me untie them a little bit here and give you as someone that did not vote for the charlie kirk resolution as someone that doesn't take a pack money and, you know, had voted every single time to not fund the genocide in Gaza.

45:22Let me give you, as somebody that was a labor organizer, so I, you know, I've had my differences in some of those positions. Let me give you the reason that I am both pro-Hakim, but still pushing a more progressive vision for our entire caucus. It's a big sell. It's a big sell, Congressman. And it's not even to convince you. I know. But, you know, just to give you like, you know, you're here with me in my office. Let me give you my honest take. I want to hear it. I think that our job every day, you know, it's horrific that anybody gets shot and killed. We all agree on that. There's not a freaking Democrat that I have met in the world, much less in Congress, that thinks, of course, it's terrible that Mr.

46:09Kirk got killed, just like it's horrific that a police officer would get killed after January 6th or horrific that the Speaker Emerita of the Minnesota House was shot and killed. Everybody says, every Democrat has said that that is horrible. Now, of course, the number one insider of political violence that I know of in this country sits in the White House, right? And the Democrats know that too. We know all of that. But what Republican members of the House really wanted to do because when we've honored other people that have been killed, it just goes on consent. It just flies through. But what Republican members of the House really wanted was for all of us to be having this conversation that you just brought up with you and me.

46:53They want us. They want the news cycle to get stretched out about because they put intentionally on the floor something that said, whereas Charlie Kirk engaged in good faith dialogue, which I did not, but then be it resolved that no one, regardless of race, gender, or creed, or who they are, should be shot and killed, and political violence is bad. Well, we can agree with the second part. You can know that the first part isn't true, and the question is, what do you do with that? The answer, in my view, is to be like, we should make our own statement clear, move on, make it clear political violence is bad, and go back to talking about how these guys are taking your health care, giving your money to billionaires, sending in masked agents whose budget is larger than most militaries to rip apart families, deport U.S.

47:44citizen children, that they're ripping up the fabric of the Constitution every single day. That's the ground that we should be fighting on. And so I think that on that Charlie Kirk Resolution Day, the Democrats voted all sorts of different ways. and of course that was the Republican plan to create a moment where they could have us talking about that as much as they could. I'm going to step in because I think Hakeem's vote gave them exactly what they wanted. Him participating in it means that we're still talking about it. Had Hakeem been a leader and said, you guys are exploiting this man's death.

48:21We will have no part of it. We will not as a black man. I am not voting to honor a racist. We will proceed with a bill condoning gun violence and we'll name it the Charlie Kirk bill. And we will try to, you know, ban guns from being on college campuses. That would have been a real boss bitch move. But the fact that Hakeem is playing patty cake with these racists and these racist apologists means we're talking about it today, which means Hakeem as the person that kept us alive because he should have whipped the party into shape on this. We have a fucking fat ass fascist nut job running in the country that just went and lectured who was, I mean, who is a draft dodger who went and lectured the military.

49:08It is nuts. And I think Hakeem needs to whip him into shape and deep down, you know it, you know it, Congress. And I think I said my piece and you were a piece on it. That is, in my view, way more important, way more, you know, not a non-binding trap set by the Republicans, way more important. And I think the place that I make my judgment was the votes this last week on whether or not we were going to rubber stamp the budget that funds the enormous mass agent, unaccountable machine that took a 10 year old Texan out of my state who is recovering from brain cancer and has refused to bring her back.

49:52whether or not we were going to just let keep letting things chug along and say, yeah, you know, we're just going to be OK with you kicking 15 million people off their health care. That's honestly right. If I'm going to put my chips in, that's where my chips go in. And in my view, the House Democrats have done the right thing on that vote back in March and here in the last week. and I am, you know, I'm here only to defend myself. It is okay for you to have and everybody to have their opinions on any member of Congress, especially our leaders. We should be held accountable. We should have the tough conversations.

50:31But in my view, the really important moments and that really important moment here in the last week, we should be proud of it. And, but we can't just rest on our laurels. This vote in many ways is a vote of confidence. That wasn't a vote of confidence before, a vote of confidence this time in our base to go and have those no kings rallies, to go and talk to their friends, to go and let everybody know that what is on the line is our constitution. What is on the line is whether we have a king or a democracy. And what's on the line is the most basic of people's fundamental economic life, family life, which is the ability to go see a doctor, whether you follow politics or not.

51:13This is not some little political thing for people to see their healthcare costs go up$10 ,000 or$20 ,000 a year. Yeah. And that's the thing that separates us from MAGA is the people like you and Bernie Sanders and AOC, and even my boy that I like to browbeat, Hakeem, they're fighting for people that are actually MAGA voters who think that all of you guys are evil, terrorist leftists. And you're fighting for those people to have healthcare. And that's the fundamental difference between the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. We vote for even people that disagree with us to have health care and not have to file bankruptcy because they have an illness.

51:59They they are voting to own the libs. I mean, it's crazy. But you know what? I will always stand up for them. But OK, I'm going to offer you a reprieve. And we're going to I'm sorry, but I just you know, this is this podcast. It's important. and i just want you to know i like you a whole lot you held up real well i like you really well too and i just want to say you don't have to feel bad second everything jennifer says and i also want to apply it to chuck schumer he's not just because you're in the house chuck schumer is not off the chuckles is not off the hook i've had it ladies have had it with chuckles and hakeem and we're going to keep putting pressure on them fight or fold period all right i'm gonna let you off the on all that.

52:39All right. I want to talk about, we didn't do this at the top. Let's just talk about, we'd emailed with you. Just what are your, what have you had it with? Oh my gosh. So we moved into the, I've had it portion. Yeah. Yeah. We're done browbeating your leader of the party. Yeah. You know, I wasn't quite at I've had it with, I've had it. I was okay. I would, I could have kept going for a little while. But one thing that I have had it with that people think is funny is like, I've had it with the board game Monopoly as somebody that is truly wanting to break up monopolies, wants to take on the big money.

53:18It's a board game that should be something that I love. And I love board games, but it's freaking boring. Like there's so much better stuff out there. And I just, when people are like, oh yeah, maybe we just kick it and somebody pulls on a board game that's i feel like that should be the last one on the shelf it's uh which one do you like what would you do are you you like clue clue is okay but i feel like there are so many better board games out nowadays i for people that are like checking something out like oh i should get a new board game it's playing a game the other day sushi go it's cute little pieces of sushi on cards and you don't have to wait for your turn everybody plays at the same time you know it's like easier to have conversation i like uh also like board games that are more sort of strategic you know my wife and i love this board game seven wonders which you should usually play with like four or five people and in the pandemic we literally the two of us sat down on our living room floor and played for like seven people at once and we felt like crazy people or I don't know, an easy party game.

54:23Check out like code names. Like there are good board games and Monopoly is just, I don't know. I feel like it should be a topic that I love and it's a board game that I've had it with. I like naughty board games, like Crimes Against Humanity and those memes where they're like, you know, this meme is and you have to put, I like kind of naughty ones, adult ones. I'm not gonna lie. I'm gonna say, I hear, I love the grievance of having it with Monopoly. It's such a good one. But I have to say, as a child of the 80s, I love Monopoly. And I always volunteer to be the banker. I picked it because I figured one of the two of you guys would like it.

55:00I'm a great banker. My token is always the shoe. And I mean, I am excellent at it. I am ruthless. I am relentless. I crush. I am like an oligarch when it comes to Monopoly. Here's a Peter Thiel of Monopoly. I will leave the game set up for days to go in and make sure I bankrupt every motherfucker that I'm playing with, whether it be my children, my husband, nobody's safe. Okay. You get out the arch capitalist part of you. Yeah, totally. Totally. Okay. Let's talk about the fact that you have no social media. No social media on my phone. I've had it. I've had it with that. And this is so, of course, social media is so important.

55:45Of course, we put out a bunch of stuff on social media. But look, I'm not here to make folks feel bad for members of Congress. But from when I was on city council to being a member of Congress, there are way too many folks in elected office that could just spend all of their day reading their mentions and thinking that that's like real life and what real people think. and you're going to lead to bad choices. And so I sometimes like straight up, a lot of those tweets, a lot of that is me, but like, it sounds very old school, but like, I'll write it on a piece of paper and be like, this is what I think.

56:21And it gets posted on the computer, posted on a staffer's phone, but my phone right here, I don't have any of the apps. And so when some of those crazy bots are hating, here's the fun thing, like I have no idea. I think it is so smart. I tell pumps all the time that like, I have to look at social media in the morning because we prepare for our other podcast, I hip news and, you know, like bookmark stories, vet them, et cetera. And then after we do that, then I just, I try not to get on social media all day long because here's the day here's, here's the situation. Sometimes you just cannot be interested in customer feedback.

57:03And when I have these opinions where I want to fight for human rights, and you're actually signing legislation for equality, social justice, human rights, you know, wage equality, etc. You have to feel it with every molecule of DNA that you have, and you can't be compromised by that. And so customer feedback is really not something that you can participate in because you have to have moral clarity on those issues. And the same for me when I get up here and when pumps gets on here with our microphones and we're just, you know, going into the abyss, you know, fuck this, kanks, blah, you've heard it, you know, all the shit that we say, I have to really feel it in my bones.

57:45And if I piss people off, then just so be it. I mean, just so be it. If me standing up for trans kids that get bullied, If that pisses you off, fuck you. I don't give a shit what you think. And so I kind of think it's super healthy to get those apps off your phone. I really, I envy it. Well, as a wise man once said, if you ain't got haters, you ain't popping, you got to make sure that some people are mad and you don't have to, as a legislator, hear what the MAGA troll bots are saying all day. Go talk to a real person at the grocery store or on the sidewalk. And honestly, it's made my life better.

58:22And I remember I'm an elder millennial to the point where I remember when social media just was more fun. Yeah. The Internet wasn't always trying to sell you something or addict you to something. Like the other day, somebody just sent me a funny photograph that they saw on the Internet of the sky looking like the river in Austin. And I was like, I remember when that was the whole Internet was like, look at this interesting picture. Look at this funny video somebody made. And I know that still exists in some pockets, but they just pump you with stuff to either sell you things or make you feel angry or bad.

58:54And look, there's enough things to be angry about out in the world. And so I want to make sure that I'm focused on my job and then hear from real people. I like all of it. Okay. You know what? The podcast is getting better and better for you. Now we have a game. It's called Had It or Hit It. Right. Oh, my God. Welcome to Had It or Hit It. I would hit it. Had it. Had it. I hit it every day, sometimes twice a day. Had it or hit it, Hakeem Jeffries. I'm just kidding.

59:27Had it with a question. Yeah, I like it. Okay, okay, okay. Had it or hit it, the Department of War. Oh, had it with that, with the whole renaming of stuff, right? Remember when they would just beat up Democrats for like wanting to rename a street named after like a Confederate secessionist and they made fun of us for that? Yes. And now like they're going and renaming the Gulf, you know, like and and and I think it makes them look tough to go rename the Department of Defense when they said that they're the anti-war party. I mean, it's just it is again, right. They are the real snowflakes. They are the real people obsessed with the words and the things.

1:00:12And so had it. Totally. This is what I think. OK, I think these MAGA men, I think a self-actualized man presents his masculinity in a way where they really aren't triggered or offended by anything. A gay person, a trans person, a boss bitch woman, a CEO woman. It wouldn't matter. But their masculinity presents in such a way that Pete Hegseth is up there saying, and I don't want any fat generals. I don't want any fat generals around the Pentagon. And then the leader of the entire military trots out the next day. And as Nancy Pelosi has pointed out multiple times, he's morbidly obese. Morbidly. It is.

1:00:54It's so strange. And I guess it goes back to the social media point. I'm like, are these guys just the anonymous incels that I used to see on my apps when I had them on my phone? Yes, I think they are. They're literally in charge. of the most lethal and biggest military force the world has ever known. And how did we get here? And how are we not getting out of this thing? This goes back to your idea. We've got to find a way out of this thing as soon as we can, because we can't deal with three years of Trump and then eight years of J.D. Vance or of Trump running again, 12 years of this. We can't have that.

1:01:33And this goes back to that already. This goes back to your idea, which we floated on here before, universal therapy. Because I think a lot of people, I think a lot of people, and you're from a red state, you get this. I think a lot of them have been indoctrinated into religion and not the good kind of religion, not the Jesus is a radical empath type religion, the hellfire, shame. You know, if you think about a woman in there, you know, people that are in charge right now, they're doing all the tongue talking in the White House. something if you've seen that clip, you wouldn't because you're not on social media.

1:02:06Trump's. I've seen some of the clips. They talk in tongues and then they go into the White House. So I think that we're going to need a lot of mass therapy to make our country healthy again. And I think that as soon as we defeat these fascists, I want you to start the bill and then I will plug it all over the Internet since you don't get on the Internet and we'll make sure it gets passed. Okay. Moving along. How did her hit it? RuPaul's Drag Race. Oh, my gosh. Hit it. I am a huge RuPaul's Drag Race fan. We have some amazing queens from Texas that have been killing it over there. Mistress Isabel Brooks from Houston, where I was born, Georges, who grew up in San Antonio, an area in Central Texas that I represent.

1:02:57And I think that something that's so special about it is the way that there's just kind of this message of you can be unique and you can be different. And not only does that mean that you should be treated like everybody else, but there's actually something really special about going through different kinds of adversity. I mean, I think the way that RuPaul has really focused in on each of the contestants stories, what they've been through, I feel like it, it's something that, yeah, some of the folks that maybe are at a different place on LGBT rights than the three of us, if they like hear the struggle that people have gone through to get to that place.

1:03:39And I just feel like it would, it would change them. And so, you know, it's a fun reality TV show when you can kind of veg out when it's been a hard week. But I think that they've been really brilliant about making sure that it also is kind of like a transformative message. I completely agree. I love that show. And I'm so jealous of how RuPaul is aging. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Okay. Had it or hit it. No problem we can all grow up that way. You know? Had it or hit it, Peter Thiel. The most had it of had it. Yes. Look, in the 1920s, there were these robber barons, right? They were the folks with all of this money.

1:04:17They controlled the railroads and the oil and the steel. And they thought that they could buy the government and basically use it to enrich themselves. And we, of course, talked about Elon Musk. I'm probably Elon Musk's biggest hater here in the house. Of course, we're starting to talk about Larry Ellison, who owns Oracle and is going to be running TikTok under Trump. But Peter Thiel is the guy. I know you all have been talking about him. I think people have not been talking enough about him as this robber baron from the 1920s that is now here who is trying to buy up the government, buy up our economy to rig all these things towards his vision of the world.

1:04:57And the point of a democracy is that people should have a say over their vision of the world and the rules, not just one or two or three guys. And so we got to be talking a lot more about peter thiel uh on the outside um and uh and then also on inside the government this guy vote um russell vote i spelled vaut but pronounced vote i think who runs the budget office it's like guys like this yeah um who we don't talk enough about who are the villains i think of the story and steven miller don't let that motherfucker do not let that motherfucker off the hook No way. So, yeah, I'd say those Stephen Miller and Russell Vogt, those are the, you know, when we feel like this Trump era, he has been so much more effective at doing horrible things.

1:05:47Right. He was horrible the first time, but he, you know, hired the Scaramucci's of the world. This time he's got folks like Vogt and Stephen Miller really trying to get to these horrific ends, these outcomes. And so I think we've got to have the villains of our story because Donald Trump said, you're getting screwed over in America. And he said, the villains of the story is an immigrant. The villain of the story is a woke coach of a sport. I mean, he's, it's populist, but he's punching down. We need a populism that punches up and we've got to fill in the blanks for people of if you're feeling bad, there is a villain, but it's not a Venezuelan mom that's jacking up your rent.

1:06:28It's a Wall Street hedge fund donor that's giving to Donald Trump. It isn't, you know, when you're not getting your phone call answered at the Social Security agency, it isn't a wokeism problem at Social Security. It's Russ Vogt and Stephen Miller that are taking apart the things that we build together as a country. And so we've got to be willing to name villains. And if that gets us uninvited from some dinners and, you know, the Democratic Party is a little little bit less fancy pants, like goods, go win the elections. I don't want to be at a dinner. I have some messaging that I want to try out on you regarding Peter Thiel and Elon Musk.

1:07:10And I believe that Democrats have got to start getting their hands a little dirty because they're playing one version of the game and we're playing the Merrick Garland version of the game. Right. And we saw what that got us. So here's my messaging regarding Rupert Murdoch Peter Thiel and Elon Musk and it's going to be kind of controversial for progressives but we have to I'm ready let's let's let's let's roll out on Fox News and you say I cannot believe that we're letting three foreign born people one born in South Africa one born in Germany and one born in Australia come over to our fucking country and tell us that we shouldn't have a democracy because that's what they're doing.

1:07:56They have bought the country, funded by taxpayer subsidies. And these motherfuckers have decided, because this will hit hard in where we're from, they've decided that they want to tear down America. So I think we can say the entire thing you just said, exactly what you just said. But I don't see where they were born, what it has to do with it. I don't either. I get it. I get what you're saying. But I think that we can say these guys just have a shitload of money and they think that they can take your jobs, replace it with computers, take your money, give it to themselves, give it to Trump. It's messed up.

1:08:36And the reason is because there are the Larry Ellsons of the world that were born here and are doing the exact same thing. I agree. And I don't want to. And I don't want to give gas. I don't want to give any gas or standing to the argument that they make about folks not born here on other things. And so I think that you are right, though, that we need to be willing to go after name and say that they are fucking over the country, those specific oligarchs. And that's something we haven't done before. We have not regularly done. When we lost this last election, I was in rooms with a lot of elected Democrats and Democratic consultants and leaders.

1:09:18And I said, we should talk about firing Elon Musk. Yes. I promise you, there are folks that said, remember, this is when Musk was like basically running the entire government. People said, ah, but he's too wealthy. He's too powerful. And people might get confused and think that we don't want them to make money. And I'm like, that is hogwash. That is bullshit. And we can get him fired. And we actually did. I mean, if you all remember, Trump said he was going to stay the entire time. Right. By pointing him out as a villain, I think a big Democratic win of this last year was getting him out. And now he's the least popular person in the United States and maybe globally.

1:09:53OK, one thing I want to put on your radar with the Peter Thiel thing, the dark enlightenment bullshit combined with Stephen Miller wants a hundred million Americans. That's it. So you've got dark enlightenment that only the smart people should have any ability to vote or run the country. And then you've got all these Republicans that want to kick people off health care by the tens of millions. In my head, and I know it's a conspiracy, is you want to get rid of poor people. You want to get rid of sick people so that then the elites can rule everything. That's just the conspiracy in my head. I just want to put it on your radar.

1:10:28I mean, the thing is, these guys are so creepy when you see them talk and hear them on TV. I mean, it is they are legitimate. I mean, when you go read what it is they believe, it is legitimately scary. It is way outside the norm, way outside of what folks that voted for Trump voted for. And what we have to be willing and able to go do is go talk to those voters. That's why I'm going to Republican controlled districts all over the country. And I ask people, put your hand down if you voted Democratic this last time, if you voted for the vice president to be president, put your hand down, put your hand up if you didn't.

1:11:06And ask me a question. Let's talk about what you think. And none of them want to have anything to do with those really creepy eugenic style ideas. They just think that Democrats have stopped paying attention to the baseline basic needs that they've got. and we've got to turn that around because I'm not going to be able to change Republican official, a congressperson behavior anytime soon. We've got to change our message. Okay, Congressman, I just can't even begin to tell you how much I like you. And what a great job I think that you're doing. And I want to have you back anytime on either this podcast, which is the longer format, or if you just need to come message something, we have three drops a day of IHIP news.

1:11:51I think you are the real deal. I think that you should keep going. I hope that they never run you out of government because we need good people. Like you make me want to be a better person. Oh, that's really sweet. And less impulsive than I am. You corrected my messaging where I just want to go for the juggler all the time. But I was nice. I was nice about it, right? So nice. Yes. So nice. I'm a big fan of yours. Yes, very much so. You're quickly like at the top of, you know what? We should start a little, I'm going to get a little bored here. Favorite. And I'll just like keep trying to work my way up.

1:12:23Yeah. Yeah. And then just tell Hakeem if he's seen Jennifer Welch from I've Had It wants to talk to him. Okay. I can promise you that. I'll mention it. He's been on it before. Yeah. Tell him we need to have a family meeting back. Well, I hope that wherever on your board, he'll add, he keeps working it. Here's the thing about Democrats. He would come back on. If you want to put him down the board, just don't tweet it because I won't know. All right. Thank you so much, Congressman. Good luck at work. And if you see Moses Mike Johnson, tell him we said to fuck off and that he's a hypocrite. I can promise to tell him the same thing.

1:13:04Y 'all take care. Bye. Nice to meet you. Bye. So he's darling. Why don't we have cool people like that from Congress in Oklahoma? I mean, he's from Texas. Well, because Oklahoma is just so my, our friends that we have here, I have some fabulous blue dots, But in general, you know, this is a dead shit state that we were ranked 14th in education. We had a Democratic governor. And they willfully vote to ruin anything good that we've ever had in this state. And it's a heartbreaker. But I do want to make a caveat. The mayor of Oklahoma City, Mayor David Holt, is a bright, shining light of inclusivity.

1:13:47and he's a rational, decent, non-MAGA style leader that has room for anybody in this city, no matter what you look like, no matter who you love, no matter what color your skin is. And so I would be remiss if I didn't highlight him, but all of the others, they can fuck off just like Moses might. Yeah, well, has Stephanie Bice ever gotten back to you about being on the podcast? Stephanie Bice sucks. Stephanie Bice is a, she's a listener. She's the Congresswoman of our district. This woman is an anti-woman, misogynist woman who, if her daughter got raped, you can rest assured Congresswoman Stephanie Bice would fly her daughter to a blue state like California or Colorado and make sure her daughter got the care that she needed.

1:14:39Meanwhile, Stephanie Bice will go and hold her Bible up all over the state and kiss Donald Trump's ass and drive education into the ground and only enrich billionaires that don't need to be enriched. She is morally bankrupt. She is one of the worst people on the planet. She did not return my email to come be on this podcast to show some accountability because she's a chicken chick coward. That's all we have for today. Pumps, tell them. We'll see you next Tuesday and Thursday.

1:15:16I'll tell you what I've had it with. Let's hear it. I'm at it with that. Listen up, patriots, gaytriots, and natriots. We have a new podcast that has dropped. It's called iHip News. It's Monday through Friday, every day, 15 to 20 minute hot takes on the political landscape of the United States of America always served with a side of petty grievances. We are on all the available platforms, Apple, Spotify, Google, whatever. You get your podcasts and YouTube. Please go rate, subscribe, and review so that we will chart upwards with America's greatest legal mind. Pumps, what does an eagle say? Caw-caw.

1:15:58A little bit more enthusiasm. Caw-caw. That's it. That's, that's... Caw-caw. That's the patriotism that this country needs right there.
