Guests
No guests. Hosts are Jack Mate and Robbie (and Stevie is mentioned as a co-host).
Guest backgrounds
Not applicable (no guest interviews). The hosts are UK podcast personalities who discuss everyday life, food, and culture.
Key claims
- Spicy food: they’ve moved from avoiding heat to enjoying it (jalapenos as an “entry”).
- America: despite meeting many nice Americans, the host(s) now see more issues (guns, inequality, healthcare gaps, fentanyl videos).
- Ambition: having kids shifted priorities away from career success/external validation toward comfort and family.
- Fame: they prefer a “balanced” level of recognition; too much fame changes daily life.
- “Old”: the definition keeps moving; doing the same things just feels less “gross” as you age.
Notable examples
- Casino toilet episode after an extremely hot burrito.
- “The Bomb” hot sauce causing severe pain.
- Discussion of Ed Sheeran needing a back entrance vs others being left alone.
- Norwich water vs other cities; pigeons/doves; rabbits being mowed by the council.

1:41Jack Maite's Happy Hour. Hello, guys. Welcome back to the Jack Maite's Happy Hour podcast. I've got a mouth full of nuts. Pistachio, discovered chocolates. Still addicted to him. Drill on that. So sorry if you hear the spitty, slobbering mess of my sticky, sticky mouth. How are you, Robbie? Good, thank you. Yep. Enjoying having these weird, tiny waters that for some reason you've got in the studio? Because I bought some from the shop before. I've actually seen this as a discussion point on Reddit. Okay. So they're 200 milliliter bottles. 200 milliliter. So they are ridiculously comically small.
2:13Yeah. And I went to the shop and I was buying quite a few things that day. And there was a tray of, is that what you call a tray of them? A load of them? if they're on a tray they went on a tray but no then the tray bit is vital so I carried him back and now people think that I just keep getting these waters because they're easy for me to carry that was one time and then Avant the company that do these waters got in contact with me and said can we send you some and I thought they were going to send us big bottles but they sent us hundreds and hundreds of little bottles have we asked them why they're so little no I've never thought I want just that much water.
2:51Do they do normal size ones? I don't know, but you can drink them pretty quickly, can't you? Yeah, because it's 200 mils. They don't hydrate. That's not a good thing. It doesn't last very long. Yeah, they don't hydrate. I'm assuming when they sent you them, they weren't hoping you'd say, this is shit. They got to talk to them, weren't they? Yeah, no, no, no. There's nothing shit about it. It's nice water. Don't get me wrong. Just need a bigger bottle. I need more of it. Do you know what I mean? If anything, that's a good review. Give me more of it. But one thing that's mad, right? so this is like a shot yeah like a buzz ball this kind of thing right um a can of your typical coca-cola or lilt is only a third more than that don't that blow your mind don't that no it's not a third more than that yes it is no because you're doing the third of the full can it's like another 50 on that yeah he's right what it's 50 more 50 a bit more yeah but that's still not a lot is it if you think about it that way.
3:45The way they make them cans is very clever because there's an alcove in the bottom that goes up. So it looks bigger than it is. It's sneaky. May I make a comment about how nice do we have to be to Avent? Say what you want, mate. It says 100 % recyclable eco-bottle. I wonder if it would be better for the environment not to have to use six bottles just to quench one, just to make your mouth not dry. That is true. That is true. A little flex from me, if you don't mind. Go on. I probably told you at Christmas that I can tell the difference between bottled water and tap water. Yeah. People think it's bullshit.
4:26Yeah. Fiona gave me a taste test the other night. I said I want to do this on a video. Fiona gave me a taste test, as Fia's my witness. She brought it into the bed, and I had my eyes closed, and I could tell you which was which from smelling it. and I got it right five times out of five, didn't I, Fee? I didn't do. Okay, I am going to prove this on camera at some point. Why do you not believe me that I can do this? Because it's weird. I can do it. I promise you I can do it. Can you tell the difference between different flavours of water? Not flavours, but like if I gave you Volvic? Possibly. Possibly.
5:04Do you want to try it now? Do you want to do it now? No, because I don't have it now. Right, okay. Is it because would this work anywhere in the country, do you think? Because we have where we live in Norwich, very hard water bad water yeah we do have bad water in Norwich didn't say bad I said hard how can you have hard water I think it's the amount of chalk in it isn't it something like that is that right I think it's how it has to get filtered maybe tastes very different from water for example in Glasgow we're nowhere near mountains are we which doesn't help well you have to be near a mountain let's just get a lot of water that's what the I guess geological makeup of the area is I didn't know that I did not know that water tastes different you go to Glasgow very different water tasty water different taste yeah i i like it but norwich bad water really norwich bad for your kettle a lot of limescale and stuff ah i know that i know in glasgow there's no limescale in the kettles up there might be some but i don't think it's bad okay yeah well maybe maybe i can taste how dirty norwich water is didn't say dirty i am clean and to shower in as well.
6:07All the water's clean. That was a good throw. That was a really good throw. Thank you. Thank you. Yep. What are we doing? Have you been up to anything else? God, I thought I shat the bed the other night. Genuinely, I thought I shat the bed. Oh my God. Did you be out? Yeah, I've been out. Could you feel it? Oh, mate. I was hung over and I was laying in bed and I got up because you know I sleep naked, don't you? Yeah. Why did you need to say that? You do like it. No, I do, but why do you need to say it? I got up and literally on my bed where my bum is was all... Shitty. Was what? Shit, right. So you did shit yourself?
6:54No, it was chocolate, right? But I couldn't think... For ages I was going, oh my God, oh my God, because it was right on my bum. And then you tasted it. And then I smelled it. and it was chocolate, and... What chocolate was it? Well, what had happened was, right? I don't know why I'm saying this. But what had happened was I was cross-legged in bed, eating naked. Drunk. Kind of, but sort of from the night before, probably a bit hungover, and I was mindlessly eating chocolate-covered pistachios. Oh, you're so addictive. And one had fallen within my lap. They're tiny though, couldn't have been that much chocolate This was a big one And it had rolled
7:43Don't look at me like that Into my bum crack Like a suppository Into your bum crack Yeah literally into my bum crack From the front Because imagine I'm like Like they And if I lean back Yeah, it's rolled in. In my bum crack, melted, and I've sort of been moving about, probably. You've got something lit, by the way, from your arse. You didn't know what it was, you just ate it. It couldn't have been anything. Like a little lizard.
8:26Oh, what were we talking about then? something yeah this feels a lot like a really elaborate story you're telling because Fee's around the corner and you don't want to know that you shat yourself no no she tried she smelled she was tucking right in she tried a bit but she didn't want any more because it was chocolate
8:54you're gross you're grim I know I can't believe you got one I'm stuck in your people will look and be like oh there's that jet mate guy he's like a you well was a youtuber sort of thing now like a podcast and all this must have quite an exciting life but you're just like you just sat in your bed not even knowing whether you've shat yourself or not or just like a chocolate up your ass when i meet people when they recognize me they do you are right you are bang on there they go like oh what you got coming up and we go no nothing shit myself in a chaos were you in a kale nah but a hanghole nice oh my word sorry I forgot we were doing a I actually forgot we were doing a bum right I um I've actually come here from doing a different podcast so I I've for the first time in years I went and guested on another podcast no you did not which I never do I would pay big money to see you on Diary Resilient um okay was it was it one of the fellas ones was it no no so it was a podcast called Mum's the Word and today it was hosted by Georgia Jones and she was incredible really really funny but the whole thing is about parenting so it was like it's like I did like a more serious chat than I'd ever do on here but the reason I'm bringing it up now did you call her a paedophile at any point no but as I first met her we were walking through together and she just goes I was listening to your podcast earlier to kind of like get to know what it's like before we do the thing and straight away i went oh no she went yeah i was listening and like two of you were acting out like doing blowjob role play and i was like i was going okay um i went oh that wasn't me and she went i did have to quickly watch it to double check and it was you and alfie jack and alfie were doing like role play about giving each other a blowjob.
10:56But what's quite funny... I can't remember that. I forget everything we do on here. What's quite funny is that before we started, I'm speaking to Georgia and saying like, we've got this whole running thing on our podcast. This is why we don't... Did you get every podcast I go on, I have to do a bloody run for it? Yeah. What are my rules? I thought you were going to say you've got a running thing that I'm a paedophile. No, no. So I said it's like a running thing that we never get women on the podcast. I was like, you've just heard it. This is why we don't get women on. And then later on, as we're finishing the podcast, I made a reference to it again and was like, this is why we never get women on happy hour.
11:30And she was like, I'd love to do happy hour. I could do that. And I was like, what? You told me about the blowjob thing. And she went, tell Jack, I'll come on and I'll one up the blowjob role play. In. I have no idea what that means. But she went, clip that out and give it, show it to Jack at some point. Did she say this on the pod? Yeah. Right, okay. So I'll send it to you when she said, but she was going, I'll one up that blowjob roleplay. And I don't know what it means, Georgia. I can't remember what the blowjob roleplay was. I can't remember what we were doing. I imagine what we were doing, but I can't remember why that came up.
12:04I can't remember it. You and Alfie. So it sounds fairly normal, but of all the episodes she could have been listening to, that's the one. I think if you pick anyone at random, you're going to get some stuff that's highly embarrassing. Yeah. I was hoping she'd said like, she listened to a guest episode. And as soon as she said that, I was like, here's one, right? So like, imagine this, imagine, you want to impress right yeah it's either a first date or a job interview yeah and you go this is what i can do you show him an episode of happy hour which one at the top of your mind do you send that you think best showcases what you can do when i drank the super hooch right right that's the most me that's the lowest you've been on it i think that's good yeah i like that that's the me i like you have fun you have good fun on that it was so surprising that you did that yeah he's never you just drank loads of booze and I'm alright now I want to know more about what you said on this podcast were you like a parenting guru no it was like they have guests on and basically speak about mainly women on there so I was the anomaly on this one how did you end up getting invited they emailed Jack and asked for me and there was a bit of me thinking do they mean they want Robbie and have they accidentally said that That would make more sense.
13:19There was a bit of me thinking that because I never, like I talk about Isaac but I don't talk in depth about it. So I did like more serious chats, spoke about how I came into Isaac's life, spoke a bit about Noah which I've never done anywhere. So yeah, it was quite weird to be able to have normal conversations but then also had little funny jokes and stuff as well. So I enjoyed it. Was it good fun? Yeah, I really enjoyed doing it. How long was the app? They're quite short. They said you only need to be there an hour but I think we overran a little bit. Oh. So yeah, it was good. I enjoyed doing it.
13:45When can people listen to that then? Probably by now, by the time this comes out. We're about a year ahead on this podcast. Yeah, I'm going to listen to it. You just want to hear that last bit, don't you? I think you should do more other podcasts, Stevie. I'd like to say no to everything. I don't know why. I should just do them. You should go and do them. I like it when you're on something. Stevie's out his normal bit. It's different. It's different because here you're in a role. Do you know what I mean? Like it's, when you go out in the world, people aren't abusive as much. Oh no, you say this.
14:14She got well into it because as we were going in, she said about like the episode she was listening to she said she finds that kind of humor quite funny like us being quite laddy and so she found it funny and then uh she started making jokes about me looking old oh what she knew yeah she knew she'd heard that bit and then i went she was going now you don't really look that old i went like 32 then she went maybe a bit old yeah fair play dug in on me because your hair's getting longer i did say that and grayer yeah Yeah, you look a bit Gandalf-y. Right, what are we doing today? It's quite a difference, isn't it?
14:49It's weird, because when you go out in the real world, you have a bit about you, don't you? What do you mean? He has a bit about him, doesn't he? Yeah, when you see him, Stevie's excellent at talking to people. Yeah. And Johnny is. He's so fun of him. He's the centre of... Do you remember when Ariane had a gig and went down? You were just chatting to everyone. I can work a room. You'd be a great maitre d' in a restaurant. Or you'd be a great... Come on, have a seat. Oh, you're the usual table for you, my friend. How have you been? I've been asked by Matt when he has his wedding. I'm like emceeing the whole wedding.
15:23What? He's asked me to do everything. Introducing like the first dance, the cake cutting, every part of the day I have to be. But also half the family of Portuguese. So like some of the stuff I say, Marta's sister's then going to have to say in Portuguese. So I'm going to try and say some weird stuff. Yeah. It's just glory. They come the way. The sister's just like, I can't do it during their wedding. Say Portuguese people are cunts. What's her sister's name? I can't remember. I've only met her once, months and months and months ago. I've got a good sort of wedding joke you can do. Go on. Saw it on TikTok.
15:59Go, say her name's, give me a girl name. Natalie. Say her name's Natalie. Go, guys, Matt's asked me to emcee this entire wedding. As you can tell, I'm a little bit nervous. I'm out of my comfort zone. So a technique to make me feel less nervous, I've been told is to picture everyone naked. Natalie, you're looking amazing.
16:20How's that going to happen? Probably not great. Also, bear in mind, I'm not really going to know anyone. The wedding's in Portugal as well, so we're all going over there for it. What about, Lisbon? Flying into Lisbon, but then it's like an hour out of Lisbon. That's sick. So it's going to be quite a cool thing, but I'm not going to know. I'll probably know 10 people there at most. but then everyone else and Marta's got quite a big family because she's Canadian and Portuguese so they've got loads of people coming over from Canada and then I'm just there being like I play Rocket League with Matt, that's how I know him No, that's good, that's good Are you best man then?
16:55No, he's got two groomsmen and that's it for the whole thing You're just unpaid labour Does the best man get paid? No, no, that's like a prestigious role Yeah, it's good, good, correct No, no, no I had sex with the best man I had sex with the bloke who says it's dinner time what i think what i'm gonna say matt matt doesn't listen but i reckon what's happened is
17:27oh i don't know why i'd do it the sweaty old man Why are you adding that? Were you off of the best man? No! You'd be surprised! You know that 70 year old guy who's at his dinner time? Oh, fuck man. I think what's happened, Matt, is Matt was his brother's best man. Oh, yeah. So now he had no choice but to pick him, but really would have wanted me. Yeah. I'm going to say that. You're going to say that, Matt? I'm going to keep telling myself that. It's funny because every month is exactly the same as my ego. Everywhere I've been to, I've thought of reasons in my head why they couldn't make me the best man.
18:12I would be, but obviously it's politics. It's all in politics, isn't it? I've never been anyone the best man, but yeah. I'll be the best man twice. Have you? To two fellas? Very good man. Very good man. The best, I'd say. Let me guess. Mark the sexy lawyer? Nah, nope. I think I might have done the announcing bit for that. I think the Stevie role in that one. obviously guys it's dinner time but i think i might just got bored halfway through and stopped you're the dinner cuck yeah um uh let me guess so uh gavin nope treffler nope i mean
18:47speedo and ginger dan two that i wouldn't have thought would have rated you well Ginger Down's fire speedos he's on TV and stuff like that is he? yeah what's he do? he's on the news he's a BBC journalist is he? he was always on after Jim Reade's his real name after like Boris Johnson would say you're getting lockdown people he'd be the one on the news talking about it oh really? straight after yeah what was he like a health correspondent? yeah yes it is but I mean obviously now the glory days of health have gone now Covid's finished yeah what can he talk about now? I hope that that cruise ship virus thing kicks in, does he?
19:23Kicks off. Yeah. It's a cup final. That's a bit of sweet job, that, isn't it? Yeah. Yeah. You get more air time the more people die. Yep. Yeah. Fair play. Fair play. Right. But you don't want too many people to die because then I think the big dogs come in. If everyone's dying, they're calling Q Pim. Who's that? He's the head health guy, I think. Right. I think. I reckon he wants something mid-range illness. Yeah. COVID perfect then. Yeah. Have you guys seen those like well nice looking pigeons in Norwich at the moment. Sexy pigeons. Have you seen them? Well nice. Like you think pigeons are gross, yeah?
20:00Fat boys. No, like white. They're well good. Doves. No. They're doves. Nah. They look exactly like pigeons. They're doves, but they're white. Maybe they're doves. Sounds like they're doves. Nah, because they're like... They're doves. Why are they with the pigeons then? Because they're... All right, Mr. Pigeon apartheid. They can hang about. I'm going to look up what can you get white pigeons yeah that was good looking the bird whatever it was because I was like that's a pigeon no that's not when did you see that a couple days ago white pigeons often referred to as doves I thought I didn't know doves looked like that what white I've never seen a dove that's the only characteristic that's what you all know is they're like pigeons they're white I didn't know the only thing I know about dove is the soap yeah that picture of a bird is white and sometimes magicians like throwing them yeah I've never seen a real dove but now I have them doves are well good yeah you do a dove brand deal doves like a sexy pigeon I just didn't expect that the other day I was going whoa hello that pigeon's got a bit of value so where are you seeing them?
21:03this is why I think this is why I think pigeons are massively massively underrated and mistreated in this country at least because doves are nice no because pigeons are just the same as doves everyone looks at pigeons and go oh vermin yeah but pigeons are beautiful beautiful creatures do you know what notice a lot of the ones in the uk have got mangled feet and stuff because of what we do to them yeah i'm not saying it i'm not being pigeon ableist right um but when i was in efteling uh theme park in the netherlands the other week um all all the pigeons there pristine feet like they had manicures wow yeah so in my head i'm just saying pigeons with human feet no no still pigeon feet right just not man yeah because we put all the pins on the stuff so they can't we're weird didn't we?
21:49Why can't we just let pigeons sit on the roofs? Because they shit on everything. Yeah, that's the issue. You don't want to be covered in shit. I don't want to be covered in shit, yeah. But that's their land as well. We shit everywhere. You do. You do in bed. It was chocolate apparently. But it's like... Dave Portnoy here. The wait is over. Football is here and so is DraftKings. 23:01Nationwide based on sportsbook predictions and free-to-play sports contest availability. Varies by state. It's like we see all like, well, so we moved it when, when me and Fee moved into our place, it was like loads of rabbits and that running about. and then the council will just come and mow the grass. I'm down with the machine gun. We'll mow the grass. So when it starts getting mounding and stuff, they obviously live in these little things and they just go and collect all the weeds and take it away. Why can't you just let that be overgrown for them? Sometimes they do let bits be overgrown a bit.
23:34Do they? A bit near us, they let it be overgrown for a bit, yeah. Is it also to keep them away from busy roads and stuff, though? They don't care about that, do they? They don't want to run them over. No, well, literally, the rabbits have probably lived on that plot of land for thousands of years, and we just come and build a fucking new build area there. Yeah. And go, bye now. It's weird. It's weird. I don't get it. No, I don't get what's happening at all. My air con came at last. You don't care. After all that. Do you want me to talk about rabbits again? It's raining now. A little bit. Yeah.
24:03Right. We're all caught up, baby, all caught up. Mad. Pigeons and doves. Right. I've learnt something today. A couple of weeks ago, maybe a month ago at this point, I don't know, we did an episode in which we spoke to you lovely listeners about all the stuff we've changed our minds on. Oh. I thought it was a good episode. I actually listened to that one back. I had a good fun doing it. This was my Super Hooch episode, so I've got no Hooch of any kind today. I remember that one. Yeah. See, a lot of these times, because we do quite a few and a long time in advance, I don't know, I'll see comments and they go, if only Robbie did this, I go, I have no idea what you're talking about.
24:39Well, I edited it last night, right? Because it's come out today, that episode, right? When you say I listened back to it, it's because you had to. Yeah. Yeah, because you chose. You made it sound like you went, I'm going to have a listen to this one, I was class, but you actually... I do remember it being funny, though, and I will, I've got to say, you were both very funny in it. It's because he was pissed. Yeah, but you're good as well. Okay, thank you. Were you good? I was all right. I was all right. I went my finest hour, but was not by my long trip. What was your finest hour? My finest hour?
25:12Don't know, not the bit where I spoke about rabbits. No. What about when you shat the bird? No. My finest hour? What's been my finest hour? I like when me and you did the gay role play. That was funny. That's when I was sat there. I like when I lost it to Rory McSorley's Swimming with Dolphins. I like any time we lose it. That's good. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. All right, Eminem. Right. Not your finest hour. Cut that. I will say about that day Super Hooch Obviously episode one of that day's gone out Second episode Oh yeah there's still more than that to come World Cup of Everything Oh you're pissed I didn't remember it No you didn't And it wasn't until this morning I was going Did we ever actually do potatoes?
25:54I was going to my head I don't even remember Yeah you did If we did Yeah I couldn't tell you who won So I couldn't tell you what you two brought in I did sports stars And he did smells Right listeners So I know this frustrates a lot of you. You need to understand that sometimes because of our schedules, getting four people together or three people together can be difficult. So when we come in and like today we're recording multiple episodes, we don't want to put them too close together sometimes. And like obviously there's times when certain episodes have to go out on certain days, like 666. So that's why sometimes you'll get two episodes that were clearly filmed back to back, but like a month apart, because we've done like the similar idea or we want to like mix it up a little bit.
26:33So that's why we do that. So today is things we've changed our minds about, part two. In the first episode, I talk about how you actually think London's quite good. London's all right, yeah. Robbie speaks about how he didn't used to like American sports, but now he thinks they're brilliant. We spoke about loads of stuff, really. Fart humour. Fart humour is actually funny. I speak about how religion is actually fine. Right? I'm glad you got to decide that. Yeah. Yeah. Right, what's your first one, Stevie? Okay, I'm going to start with a simple one, a little throwaway one. Spicy food. Ooh, this is good, good.
27:15I've always felt like, one, I couldn't handle it, and two, I've never understood it. In the sense of like, I've known people who will go, oh, I'll always get the hottest food I can have, and they'll have it, and they just look like they're in pain. They don't look like they're enjoying it. But next time they get the same thing, they're going to have the same heat again. I'm going, what are you getting out of that? Some people do just, when you're young at a curry house, some people will just go, oh, I want to fall, whatever. Yeah, I used to have a mate that would go to Nando's and order the medium, but ask them to put an extra hot flag in it.
Read the full transcript
27:45Right. Oh, nice. Yeah. Was that Mac Bean? I went to... Was that Mac Bean? Sounds like something Mac Bean would do. No. I have a friend who used to have those really hot curries. When we're now in our 40s, he had a curry with him very recently. So he used to always have the really hot one. he goes oh no i want to have i want to enjoy it now like why were you doing then he goes just because it was like everyone did so so maybe there is a bit of that but i've always felt like like nando's for instance i'll go i i can i can eat the medium one i wouldn't go hot at a medium but like i'll still pick lemon and herb because i prefer the flavor of it but you pick lemon and herb yeah i just like the or i'll go the barbecue one but like i'll there were for years i just avoid it at all costs and i think i started having jalapenos on things i remember when you got into and that eased me into it and now like if jalapenos are an option i'll add them to like nachos or subway or whatever i'll always have jalapenos what do you like the hot kick i like the little like i've got a bit about me yeah and your tolerance as well and jalapenos obviously a very weak tolerance but i can go a bit spicier now and i do enjoy it occasionally i will pick a slightly spicier option i'm the same i'm the same i think i actually do get a little kick out of it as well because they say that spicy foods um gives you the same hit in the part of the brain that opioids give you so it'll give you it does give you a bit of a high jalapeno is my drug well literally yeah literally um that's why like you if you eat super spicy things and a lot of it you can hallucinate oh i did not know that yeah so so i i i do think i get a little kick from it I have a lot of intrigue for spicy stuff as well.
29:26Whenever a new place releases something that's meant to be spicy, there's always a bit of me thinking, how spicy could it be? Yeah. If it's something like McDonald's or KFC, something that... The spicy nugs are spicy, though. So I'll be like, oh, it's only them. They're not going to have the mads. Or KFC do Zinger stuff, don't they? And I'm like, I'll just give something like that a go. And I always... I never regret giving it a go. No. There have been times where I've tried stuff and I've gone, why am I eating this? I had the spiciest thing I've ever had in my life, right? A couple of weeks ago, I ordered a burrito and it said, what sauce do you want?
30:00And it was like sweet, mild, whatever. And I put very hot because I was like, right, I'll just have a hot one. And by word, it was the worst thing I've ever eaten. I was starving. So I was like, who am I trying to eat it? The next day I went to a casino in Yarmouth and the world fell out of my ass. the pain and I was going I was in the toilet going at the casino that's embarrassing not at the roulette table I was in the toilet no I know but it's just funny that you can't just have that moment at home oh and it was so painful in my head you're in a tux what
30:41yeah do you like spicy food Robbie? I do like spicy food I'm obsessed with that this spicy sauce of the rib man you're called holy fuck oh yeah you got me some of that it's so good but then one yeah i got the spicier one but you can build you can work your way up to do it the first one i was like i can't have that too hot but you can build your way up to i think i'd need to do that because when i say i like spicy food now i'm still very much on the weak spicy side if i actually had something with some real spice in it i would still cry genuine tears down i reckon so look i remember we did a fifa challenge years and years ago and we had to have like those ghost peppers or scotch whatever they were and i was in agony i reckon they would still be horrific for Do you remember the barbecue I had last summer that you come around?
31:23That stuff, hated. Was that called The Bomb? Was that called The Bomb? The Bomb, yeah. Have you ever had The Bomb, Robbie? Unbearable. Yeah. And then he had loads. He had quite a bit on a chip. And then he was in big pain, like snot, eyes streaming. And then at the end of the night, I bottled it and I didn't have any. And then everyone kept bringing it up. You bottled it, you bottled it. Because I was pissed. I went, what? Does it make me cool if I have it? will I and then I put loads on this shit fucking loads and ate it I was outside in my pants no not in my pants don't know why I said that naked I was eating ice cute Fee you can put the video on to prove but yeah eating ice cute it was bad it was bad so we like spicy food now but there is still a limit there's a limit I remember you know Neil Smythe he's one with the sky and he was at hashtag I remember me up for dinner with him in Farringdon and we went to this pizza place it said in the menu had like it said like the uk's hottest pizza and he ordered that and he had like one bite of it went that's too hot i mean it was it was gonna be mate it's the hottest pizza what do you what do you think what do you think was gonna happen i love pizza yep i haven't changed my mind on that no just a solid opinion yeah here's one from me i think is a bit offensive so apologies but you can't help it if you've got an opinion okay i as a kid was fascinated by america right and i thought it was forward thinking i thought it was land of the free and i thought it was somewhere where hopefully one day i'll move to that was a pipe dream at the back of my head now i think it is a land full of cringy outdated weird ruled people do you know what i mean by that yeah i think america not all americans but i think so you know how in britain we self-deprecate yeah i think america needs more of that because i think they're they're like they're they're raised to think that their country is the greatest and it is the most backwards fucking place ever you go there's like what 12 shootings a in America or some shit like that.
33:36It's mad. And I just hate that they have this... I'm not saying England's perfect. It is not perfect at all. But we know it's not perfect where these Americans have this inflated self. So it's not America necessarily that you've changed your mind on. It's the American people. A lot of American people. They're raised in this kind of mindset that like, whoa, big yourself up. Americans are the best. Americanism can be a bit rank. they tried to bring it into boots when i worked at the opticians did they and they brought in like this the you should try and um speak to patients and customers the same way americans do and they brought in this whole like um they trained us to be able to do it like that and we were all just like this is the shittest thing ever and english people do not want to be treated like that it's so uncomfortable and so fake yeah but i don't think it is fake when americans are doing it no i think it is though i think it is what for tips or massively because they rely on tips right and you go into these like massive multi-billion pound wimpy or whatever or IHOP and it'll be like tip your server why are you telling me to tip the server pay your staff I always see that on Twitter I find it weird that they defend that like Americans will be like just give them tips it's like yeah but we're not against we'll tip in England that's not the problem the problem is the fact that you expect it just because you're choosing not to pay them exactly exactly and I don't know I can't I don't even have the energy for it because I've said it so many times, but I think I'm fucking...
35:06Donald Trump's your fucking gaffer. Do you know what I mean? It's a bit embarrassing, lads. It's a bit embarrassing. I'm glad this is going out after we go. Yeah, I'm sorry, guys. Yeah, I have had some of the best times of my life in America. And I think generally, most American people, when you meet them, are absolutely lovely and so nice. I agree. So I actually think American people are some of the best people. Agreed. I think the country has a lot of issues with inequality. Quite a few nutters. Yeah. A lot of the gun things, obviously mental. And sorry to interrupt, but I know that obviously people with drug problems have probably been through a lot.
35:52Like maybe victims of abuse growing up and that's how they medicate and stuff. But it doesn't seem like America does a lot to help. You see these videos online of all these people that are addicted to, like, fentanyl and stuff. And they're, like, slumped over on the street. It's like a third world. It's madness. Yeah, you do. When I was in New York last, I hadn't been for about 10 years, and it does seem to have changed a lot. Like, it does seem to have got a lot worse. There's just not the care for these people who are in a bad state. And I think healthcare in general is obviously a bit of an idea.
36:23Exactly. That's another great point. Yeah, and that's something that we do so good over here with the NHS and stuff. yeah so yeah i i i probably tarnished them all with the same brush there there are my nan's american like that i've got yeah but well she's she's english but she's lived in america for like four years she sounds american but um so yeah i think there are i agree there are a lot of great people there but there is also a high ratio of fucking nutters there as well there's a lot of yeah but i think when you meet even the people who are a lot of people who are nutters they're nice I mean people who are sort of quite have quite extreme views if you never get under the discussion of politics they're mostly pretty lovely I've been in the south deep south America and everyone was so lovely but I imagine if I started asking them if I went down and asked about Donald Trump we'd probably have different views but I think generally it's such a friendly place which is why I find it a bit heartbreaking what's going on at the minute it does make me not want to go and I know a lot of other people the same thing's going on i can't we don't need to get into a debate about this but i can't wrap my head i think wrap my head around the gun stuff as well yeah i can't wrap my head around it anyone that's pro guns i just i just you you most arguments most um arguments have two sides and i could even if i disagree with a side of the argument i can kind of see where they're coming from yeah in a way but with the gun argument i just none of their arguments that add up to me just doesn't make sense yeah it's it's yeah it's baffling yeah right robbie what you got um follow that um because we're all cancelled now i can't believe um that doves are pigeons
38:08i i used to care more about ambition and professional stuff and all this like i used I think it was important to do good, not necessarily make money, but to be successful at work or something, or do well in my career and all that sort of stuff. And then the second I had kids, just went. What, like a tap? Turning off a tap? Straight away, it was like, oh, it doesn't matter. I don't care. I still want to do interesting things, but I think I don't... It's hard to explain. I just don't really care. I don't care if I make a good TV show or something. I don't really care. I don't see a value in people going, oh, Robbie's done really well there now.
38:57Right, right. You don't need that external validation. Yeah, I think so. And it's nice when people go, that's good. I don't mind. That's still nice, but it doesn't... It suddenly really quickly just stopped being the focus of what I was doing because there's something like, oh, this is more important. This is what it's about. I do find, like I've been in a couple of sort of business-y sort of podcast things in the past people have talked about, and they'll always talk about success, and they always frame success as money, professional, or money or something like that. And, which I don't think it's the idea of the game.
39:26I'm not trying to be like a hippie. Yeah, I know you do. I just don't, I think a lot of the time, obviously, I'm not saying money's not important, you do need money or your life's really shit if you don't have any money. But there's not, I don't think, a massive, like when I see Donald Trump now or Elon Musk or these people and they're just trying to get more and more of this money like why what yeah I wouldn't swap places with them for anything they'll just look at them and thank god your life's looking miserable I think it's good and so fortunate that we probably all have like enough money where we don't need to like stress and that's that's absolutely I'm not saying that money's not important there is like people would always say money won't solve your problems well for the vast majority of my life money will have solved every single problem I had yeah all of them yeah i always think money equates to like freedom as well yeah you you can you can go and do things you want to you want to do um but i've found that like once you get like a certain amount that's like genuinely not even that much just enough to where you can wake up and be comfortable um the rest doesn't really matter like it doesn't really matter yeah i mean you've got enough to just be free and then and then that's it so i get what you mean in terms of like elon musk he's got what billions and billions and he's still going out and trying to add to that when it's like and like fucking be all over to try and yeah if this random random number can i ask if you're not driven by motivation or anything like that what what makes you want to make better youtube content i enjoy doing it but i also don't like and but i've got no interest in being a huge YouTuber or anything.
41:06And to be honest, I'd actively not want to do that because at the minute, it's kind of nice. I go holiday a couple of times a year, get down with my kids. Don't really, I'm lucky enough to not have to worry when I go to the supermarket, oh God, how much is this going to cost? Yeah. Or anything like that. But I don't, but I'm just not, I don't really feel I need much more than that sort of thing. I just, it's... Would you want, 10 million subscribers if you could get them overnight. No. No? Because it changes what you can do. Like I was, when I was at Soccer AM, I was in a certain bit of society.
41:45I was a young man. I was quite famous because of that show. Sort of thing. And it's fine. Everyone's nice, but it does influence what you can do and where you can go to a degree. And I was up in, I think I mentioned this before, but I was up in Scotland with Martin Compson a couple of summers ago and he's line of duty he's BBC One primetime famous and it's completely different it's like you're in boots and people are going up to you sort of thing I knew if I went to a Kasabian gig a lot of people would come up to me when I was in soccer room and if I went to a young person's pub a lot of people would come up to me but most places I'd be fine you might get the odd person there and there but but they would be like you'd be looking for a pub to go get some dinner You'd have to look in the window and see what it's like and try the next one.
42:38Were people just coming up to him all the time? Yeah, just because he's really famous. And he loves talking to people. He's a lovely guy. But it would have too much of an impact on your life, I think. It's not something I particularly want. I'd like to have a number of subscribers, probably about now, maybe a few more. I don't really care the number of people watching the videos that I can live the life I've sort of got now really or like 100k every video would be nice that'd be fine about that before I remember talking to that time I had brunch with Alfie Days once and he said that's mental that is so weird yeah and he said I think I was with Tim Lovejoy as well and he said when were you happiest and he said about 250 ,000 subs he said he loved that because it was not too it wasn't too famous right Not too much or that sort of thing, but you're getting good money.

Yeah, so I think sort of around the level of... Now is a nice balance of it, but... That's reminded me I used to, as a kid, want to be famous. Like actively want to be desired. Yeah, I think I probably did as well. Yeah. And now I kind of am in a way. Yeah, yeah. I think I'm so thankful that level I'm at, because I think we're all very happy with where we are.
45:01You can live life normally, though. Yeah. I remember I was with Ed Sheeran once, and he was at the example gig. He was one of his best mates, and he had to come in a different door later on, sneak down the corridors just to be in the dressing room. And I thought to myself, fuck me. like if i walk in the front door of the uea i might have to say hello to five or six people yeah but that's it yeah and then i'm just enjoying the gig like everyone else yeah ed sheeran's having a yeah they wouldn't leave like they'll they might speak to you for a few minutes and then they'll leave you to it and they'll be like jack's over there yeah but then ed sheeran would no one would leave him alone yeah it's like when we did our the happy hour tours if you had to go if it was close to the showtime a lot of people around and you had to get something for the bus you'd have to go to John the Tour Manager and say, mate, would you mind getting my bag from the bus?
45:52Because if you went out there, it'd be hard. It's like that all the time for some people. Yeah. No matter where they go. We got our hub of our people in one place. So that's why that was the only time it's been like that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And like, I've like had thousands of encounters with people, right? In the street and in random places. And I reckon I've only ever had three bad encounters. Yeah. and they stick with you obviously they stick with you but the majority of people are nice aren't they yeah and it's nice it's a level where it's nice when someone comes to talk to you now I like it I think a couple of people yesterday sort of thing they're all really nice sort of thing and then but then if it was if you couldn't do things because of that it would become an issue yeah 100 % 100 % that's something you change your mind on then yeah fame yeah but I remember when I was younger as well I would people would say oh like fame fame doesn't make you happy i mean you think probably does though didn't it yeah i don't believe that it's got some fucking good perks let me tell you that yeah in it yeah so so it's lying to say yeah people who say money doesn't buy happiness yeah the problem i had at soccer aim as well was that i had the amongst that certain some such study i had the fame bit but i didn't have the money that allows you to bypass the problems of the fame like i still have to get the night bus to get home because i couldn't afford a taxi so i couldn't get any of the stuff that helps that helps that so it was like yeah yeah yeah that's a good one stevie what else you changed your mind on i have changed my mind on the idea of what old is yes i remember like there'll be people listening to this now like 18 to 20 year olds who will be thinking we're old because well comparatively we are right but like it just gets to a point where it's like when i was I remember we had conversations back in the day, like when we were like 18, 19, and we'd be going, oh, I won't still go in a nightclub when I'm 22.
47:50That's gross. Then we get 22, still in a club, I'm like, I'm not going to go there past 25. And it just keeps, and it just, as you get older, the idea of what is old just seems to get further and further away. Obviously we joke about Robbie being old all the time, but it's just, it's not that far away from us at all in my mind, even though it's 15 years. That doesn't, it seems so much closer than that 15 year gap when I was 18. and when tim lovejoy came down to the show he was going it's so funny that they think you're really old because that's so because that's so that's maybe laugh so much what yeah but it is funny like i'm like i know i don't even see my mum as old now whereas when i was a kid she was this like really old woman your mum would have been like 20 odd yeah but now she's like 30 years older than that i now don't see her as old yeah and i think every person listening where will be having those things thinking oh i don't want to like people panic because they're turning 25 or whatever and it's like nothing changes you just carry on doing the same shit you're already doing you're just slightly older you do change a bit though like you don't go to nightclubs that much anymore do you no but i wouldn't be against going to one i was in one last week or two weeks ago yeah like but whereas when i was younger the thought of doing that as someone in their 30s is gross yeah but oh why would i why would i carry on doing that when i'm like but now i'm just like I don't, it doesn't matter.
49:07Yeah. Like you can still live your life and do the things that you think you're not going to do just because you're a little bit older. I don't know. I think my opinion stayed the same in terms of I dread getting old though. Yeah. No, I don't want to be old. But now I see old, old as a whole other thing. I'll see like 70, 80 plus as actually old. Whereas when I was 18 and stuff, I would have looked at 40 year olds and thought, oh, the fuck they're so old. I do have in my head though, and I'm not trying to beef you out here, but I do have that my goalpost is like or my level is 40 I think when you're when you're over 40 you can still be classed as young so what but I don't think no one who's 42 someone will go you're young yeah but older people will and also I guarantee when you're saying that now that same goalpost you would have had 10 years ago is 30 no I don't think so I think 40 I reckon when you hit 40 you still won't feel old really yeah I just don't think you will because I think it's all comparative, isn't it?
50:06But you have nothing to compare it to when you're younger. And I guarantee people listening to this will be going, oh, no, that is old. But give them 10 years and they'll remember this and go, oh, yeah. I remember at uni, we started, we were 18, and there was a guy in the corridor above who was like a mature student. I think he must have been about 24 or something like that. But it was like someone's granddad was there. We were like fucking, it was like he just didn't have anything in common with this guy. It was like completely, it was mental that this guy was there. We're like, what's he doing?
50:32Why's he in now? What's he doing? Right. we're all like 18 going out for the first time sort of thing like that and that was weird but also I remember when I was like I first moved to London I was I think I was about 20 I was probably about 22 I would have been 22 yeah probably about 22 and there's I was working in a TV studio and there's some woman who came in or girl came in and worked at the same at the same time in production and she and I kissed her at a wrap party thing and she was 26 and it was like everyone's going like that was mental like that was the biggest age gap ever we go well well robbie well chill out you love a meal yeah it was like it was like so so bizarre like that yeah um but yeah but then but now yeah i i think i don't see 50s particularly i don't think i see 60s particularly olds yeah now yeah i think it's just it's the whole you're only as old as you feel thing but like if you genuinely didn't tell people your actual age as long as you can keep up doing the same things these people are doing no one would ever know like like ignoring like what people look like but like if if an 18 year old thinks you're really old because you can't handle a full night out with them but then if you went and had that full night out of them never said your age they wouldn't think anything of it they just think i'm just enjoying time with someone unless they saw you in bed for two days they don't need to know that they don't need the two days after that's what i mean like it is if you can keep up doing if you're playing football with 20 year olds still in two years time i'll be playing the vets league yeah mad but if you were still fit enough to play against 18 year odds and stuff you would wouldn't you yeah i saw an advert for a leisure center the other day over 50s walking football i was like are you in a tricky winger
52:18wow we have to do a robbie's 50th birthday special yeah we do but there's like a saga where i was i think he's still going there's that it was like holidays just for old people like that and that was like 55 yeah do you know a show the golden girls no i've heard of it but i don't know it was like a show in the 80s i'd say 90s and it was like some old ladies and they were like comedy old they were like i think they're all retired and they would all like um um it was like funny that they were like going on dates and stuff because they were old no they were like three years older than me or something like that now when they started started do you know like um I might mention this something before but One Foot in the Grave Victor Meldrew the comedy old guy the start of that series he was like three or four years older than me now when it first started when the actor was when he was playing it wow it's that thing that always gets shared like every now and then where they're saying like X Factor used to have an over 25 character yeah and you used to think oh they've done well at that stage of life yeah Jamie Archer yeah literally 26 years old yeah oh he's so old oh he's getting a few get a bit of success before he dies.
53:23Mental, isn't it? Yeah, I know it's now, it definitely changed when I'm starting to think, before I was like, oh, who the, like, what sort of pop stars do you fancy in that? And now I'm like, God, there are some great politicians out there in the parliament. Yeah. And it's mad, like, I see, like, everyone was going, oh, like, Jared Bowen didn't make the World Cup squad, and everyone was going, oh, that's a last chance for him at 29. And I'm going, fucking hell, I'm four years older than Jared Bowen. you idolize well i idolize these people yeah i'm going like i see deckham rice is like 10 years older than me yeah he's seven years younger have you seen the thing that's being shared a lot at the moment of like old transfers and everyone's going that's mental like beckham went to real when he was 28 yeah and everyone's going oh everyone assumed he's younger zidane went there when he was 29 yeah i'm like now people see those ages as you can't go to the big teams now you're 29 you're past it yeah like back then it was normal it's weird isn't it yeah it's weird my granddad always goes you're only as old as the woman you feel but my nan is two years older than him who's he feeling yeah good point very good point yeah right uh i'll do i'll do one more i'll do one more um i think uh that when i was a teenager and i didn't do it often but i did do it a few times um i used to think that weed was cool fair enough i used to think not cool but i used to think there was like the culture around it like the bongs and the symbolism and stuff like that was cool and now and i apologize listeners i'm not trying to offend you it's just my opinion i know there'll be a lot of you out there that are smoking that smoke weed probably smoking weed right now i don't think that you're uncool i don't know you but a lot of the weed smokers I know in my life have no ambition, no motivation, no drive, that I think it's really uncool.
55:22You could argue that all drugs are uncool, really. Yeah. But I know what you mean. The only people I've spent proper time around who used to love doing that were great until they did it. And like the days they were doing it, I was like, you're dull as fuck. I know someone who was, and I won't say who it is, but they were very successful, right? And they were knocking... Snoop. it was someone that i know that was like kind of like had been grafting at something for a long time and almost got their foot through the door and then they just started smoking so much weed that they never pursued that opportunity again and i've never seen somebody let something slip that much and i can only and based on how motivated this person was to how unmotivated they were in the space of a summer i can only put it down to that yeah and and like going back to all drugs it's like we've been at festivals we've been around people that are doing mdma and whatever like they they seem to have fun in the moment right they and and they but and then they park it and then they leave it do you know what i mean yeah and then that's their like release of a festival or a gig or whatever whereas weed smokers they make it their personality and they sit indoors i don't know why you would want to do a drug where you sit indoors and curtains closed and play FIFA for 10 hours or watch back-to-back box sets or eat Watsits all day.
56:46I think it's so lazy. There will be people out there that are functioning weed smokers. I know I have some in my family. Yeah. But I'm talking about the people who make it their life. I will say. They stink. That's what I was going to say. They fucking stink. One of the worst smells. The only people who like the smell are people who smoke weed. and if you even do a little bit of it, everyone around you knows for the next day. There'll be people in my life that's my weed and I'll see them and I'll be like, God, you stink. And they don't know they stink. And then you stink. It's like you can smell it halfway down the street, mate.
57:23Oh, it's mad. So I never used to think weed was cool, but I used to think it was more sort of like, yeah, I guess it is. Cool. I don't, yeah, as I said, I'd not done it before and we'll probably do Amsterdam at some point. Yeah. I do just worry it will make me just, like, not want to do anything. I think it'll be a funny, like, I always, I like the idea of it. I think it'll be a funny video to just go and have, like, a space cake or some gummies or something or even smoke it. But I will just fall asleep. Do you think it's a cultural thing here or something? Because in Canada, it's legal. And even before when I lived in Vancouver, everyone pretty much smoked weed there.
57:58Policemen and stuff, they smoked weed. It was, like, so common, more so than drinking, I'd say. Would you ever smoke it? to be honest. No, I don't really like the idea of smoking. Right, yeah.
58:09But there it seemed a lot more functional, I guess. Is it different stuff, though? Is it different strains? Oh, they know all about this stuff. They don't tell you. They were like, it's like having a sommelier. Do you know what my theory on this is? And it's only a theory. I think English people are very, when they go for something, they go for it. So we drink to excess, right? So I imagine we look at how many fucking kebab shops there are. We eat to excess. So I think we probably smoke to excess as well, where in other countries they don't have this binge mentality that British people do. So they probably have one or two joints throughout the day or whatever, whereas English people just want to get blazed and want to get the highest strain, and it's just too much.
58:51It does make gigs a bit of shit in Canada, though, because everyone's just stoned. Right, yeah, yeah. Shall we do one more? Robbie, do you want to give us one? Sure. I like doing these apps. Yeah, it's more serious chats, isn't it? Yeah, but I like it, though. It's nice, yeah. It's nice to have the balance, isn't it? I used to hate holidays where you sit around a pool. And now I've had some where I quite like them. Right, okay. Whereas before I would get exactly bored. I always think, oh, I'm going to quite, if you're tired, I think, oh, quite, I'll just sit around and read some books or something.
59:27But once I've read for like two hours, I'm like, quite bored of reading now what do I do for the next week yeah sort of like that whereas I think now I've been on a couple of holidays with Mark the Sexy Lawyer and his family sort of thing and it's just been really nice I don't know if it's because we've got another family with us or what but sometimes I think when you've been really busy it's quite nice just sitting yeah and just chatting and just being for a week still yeah you can do it for a week yeah in fact sometimes I think because we do the occasional day trip and that but I think maybe we'd be better off with two weeks or something like that yeah for it but I don't know it's just going to be getting more but I used to hate the thought of it the thought I think why would anyone do that yeah I see what you're saying I went to Tenerife with a bunch of mates in January and some of my favourite parts of that was we got an Airbnb and was just sat on the balcony yeah and just sat there for hours yeah reading footballers' wikipedia and drinking beers yeah yeah and I was like that's as fun to me as going out yeah and doing all that stuff I can't do it I just can't I just can't sit in I lose the plot You're a little bit like an excitable puppy though, aren't you?
1:00:30You need stimulation and so do I, I think. I always think though, I could enjoy those hours of doing that, but I'd rather do the balcony sitting and stuff after hours in the sense of like, I've gone to this other country. I don't want to spend my whole day sat indoors. Let's go out and do stuff. And then in the evening, I can still do that balcony bit where there's nothing else to go and do. Whereas during the day, there's so much to do. I just want to get out and do it. With Isaac, would you be the same as well? Yeah. yeah when we went to tenerife him and he really didn't want to leave the hotel one day and arian wasn't feeling great so they just stayed and i went out on my own what'd you do i went for a run which was nice just to explore different areas and i just went to had a look around a few shops and stuff and just walked along the beach and whatnot just because i couldn't just sit in i just can't i lose my mind i kind of i'm sometimes a bit i get like an itchy brain where i just want to be doing stuff all the time and then when i'm like in london for like four days or three days for work, I always think, God, I can't wait to just have a day on the sofa.
1:01:27But I never have a day on the sofa. As soon as you get home, you're thinking, what a waste of a day. I just need to go and do stuff. Yeah, 100%. Robbie, give us one more. I just did the last one. Oh, yeah. I'll give you another one if you want. Yeah, go on. Give us a quick one. Give us a quick one. Okay. Do you want a serious one or a fun one? Fun one. Let's finish on a fun one. I used to hate beer. I used to think beer was disgusting. Agreed. Completely agreed. We spoke about this before on the podcast. I used to think beer was disgusting. And now I think it's class. I think there's so many different flavours to it.
1:02:03I really like the taste. Yeah. Genuinely like the taste. Before it was like, for a while you're just like, oh, I can tolerate this. 100%. Sort of thing. Do you know, when we went out the other day, that first cruise campo we got went down so easily. Did it? Fucking loved it. I was buzzing with it. I've gone so far the other way now that when I was at uni and maybe a little bit older, all I'd ever have is fruity ciders. Yeah, I can't do that. I could not stand to order one now. It's mad. I had a hooch the other day. I don't mind a hooch. Super one or a normal one? No, a normal lemon one in Riley's.
1:02:30And it was so sweet. Probably just a bit too much, yeah. Yeah, mad. It's funny though, because beer, I've spoke about this on the pod recently, but I fucking love it now. I was speaking about it the other day, weren't I? But the other day when we went out, we weren't hitting. Really? Sometimes it don't hit. Oh, you went over to the Serrano quite quickly, didn't you? Yeah. Do you know what I've really started enjoying? What? A shandy. Great. Fucking love a shandy. It's so good. Shandy is so... It's like beer, but nicer. It's weak in the beer a bit. Bit of lemonade. I didn't know they tasted good.
1:03:01They're so nice. Can we go get one now? Yeah. Shandy's so good. All right, pod's done. Let's go get one. Let's go get a Shandy.
