Right quick, Styles, come down. The microphone broke the minute you announced yourself. I don't know what that means. 100 episodes. We still got the T-Mood mics. We did 100 episodes. We're killing microphones forever. That's why I dropped. I killed Mike. No fluidity. Fell out your pocket.

8:25Yo, Styles, this guy right here He's a special guy. I only worked with him for a year. You guys been with him for life. He's my brother. He knows everything. You got to know him better. Somebody got to let me know what BD, BD, BD, BD, BD, B-Bow on a 30 platinum record. I got to get out of here. I got to get me out of here.

18:39Yo, Stiles, you hip-hop. You definitely heard a line. We bullshit? That's the problem with me. I'm over here trying to keep it real. Yo. We got a lot of guests here, man. We can't hold people. No, we got love. Y 'all don't want to answer? I would just say. No, I'm not. I think it's a dope line that nobody really realizes a flavor thing that said. It's a it's a it's the best mistake ever. Listen, they say a Nick game was rained out. Best mistake ever. Nobody caught on to it. Best mistake ever. Come back. Come back. Come back for your phone and I'm going to tell you a better one. He said the Nick game was rained out.

19:21Story to tell. It's a way better one. It must have been rained out or something. Nally went 10 million and told him I want manicure toes. Manicure's on your hands, dog. He told him, I want a woman with nice toes and manicure. You don't want a pedicure. Yeah. Manicure. He told them manicure toes is the wrong terminology. Yo, that's a good one, bro. But what does BDBD body. Yo, come on. Or my brother, my favorite Wu-Tang member, Ray Kwan would say, rock him like manolium. Maybe our next guest could help us out. Yo, what's manolium? Yo, CC. Real quick, real quick. Before our next guest, we have a gift for you guys.

20:06We have a gift. You do? A throwback from our Carbone episode. Oh, the suit. Ah, look at your daughter, Ty and Taylor from Carbone. Dennis. Hey, Dennis. Hello, Dennis. How's it going, guys? How you doing, Dennis? You still working on the suit, Dennis? I want to loop in in the process. 40 episodes. Because, you know, that was the 60th episode. Sit back. Okay. Great. Sit back, dude. So, here we are. This is just a sample done on a sample fabric. But what we're going to do, we're going to fit you guys. Because our process is that we do a fitting with a sample fabric. And then we cut your suits on that fabric.

20:51So it's going to be free fitting. And it's all handmade in Italy. And, you know, we try to do the best for you guys. Thank you so much. This is amazing. So that's Jadakiss's fitting? Yeah, this is a double-brustle for you. Throw that Italian shit off. And yours is going to have a scarf, too, as you asked me. I need that shit. Yeah, yeah. Schiaparelli. Yeah. You know what I mean? I need that. Shout out my brother. I got to try this one. Yeah, we can do the fitting there. Right now? Yeah. Whenever you want. You know that you want to get that off. Try it on.

21:26Shout out, Hakeem, from Adidas in the building. My man, Hakeem. Yo, Hakeem, what's up, boy? Woo! Woo! That's Met Gala shit right there. Somebody invite this man to the Met Gala. Yo, kiss. Your man, your trainer over there, just told me he going to get me to do a pull-up.

22:18I think you could do it. I can't do a pull-up. I couldn't do a push-up. You do a pull-up? Where? You couldn't do a push-up? Until I was 40 years old. That's stuff a lot. My whole fucker. You don't need to do push-ups to play baseball, though. You couldn't do a push-up? No. Yeah, Lovett. I bet you he could fucking knock you out. Yeah, I don't care what he did. My whole life. No, I was doing push-ups. I was doing push-ups. And you can do a pull-up, then. No, I can't do a pull-up. How is your knee right now? No, my knee's out. I had knee replacement. I came here to tell you. It's good. I'm trying to tell you.

22:52Knee replacement is good. You're the first one to put you onto the stem cell. You had total knee replacement? How long is the recovery? It's going to be a year. To get all the way back. Yeah, to get all the way back. But I play golf in another two weeks. So I'm saying a year to feel real? Yeah. Right now, you was feeling like the bionic man. But I was hurting every day. Like every day all last year. Before that. Yeah. Yeah, my knees ain't shit. No, my knees. Now I'm like an athlete. If I do a little bit too much walking and doing something, I go home, I throw the ice on my knees like I'm fucking Patrick Ewing or some shit.

23:32That's the shit I was doing after golf. I'm like, I'm too young to be doing this shit. No, I'm doing it. I got the fucking ice on my shit. Yeah, you a fucking workout fucking machine. Yeah, you doing pull-ups and shit with one finger. Roll-ups got nothing to do with your knees. Yeah, you also wasn't 500-pound motherfucker jumping on the stage. That's true. Trying to compete with Busta Rhymes. Do you know what it is performing at a door with Busta Rhymes? You 500 pounds and you trying to do the... Man, my sis went through some shit. The Euro step. Let's give it up for the Euro step. That was a...

24:12That was a classic. When I seen that episode, and then I see myself in the picture and I was like, my shit started like a year old step. That's when I got the fucking surgery. We made motherfuckers. It was inspiring. Yeah, it was inspiring. We motivating motherfuckers to get, let me tell you something, you know, not to speak personal business because they definitely going to be mad at me for this part. Don't say it. Don't say it, right? That would help. That would alleviate a lot of bullshit. It would. It would. It would. Definitely this. But anyway, when I pull up to your house, it feels amazing.

24:52No, no, I got to be real with you. Your shit is a fucking... I'd be like hoping my daughter marries a baseball player. When I go in that motherfucker and your daughter starts skipping to my loo outside and shit, and you got the fucking dog... What's the dog's name? Radar? Radar. Man, how beautiful. That's the world's most beautiful dog. Appreciate it. Oh, my God. 150 pounds. Old English sheep dog? Yeah. Him and rest in peace all. Fritz Montana had a beautiful dog, too. Looked like a lion. Big shit, man. Big-ass dog, too. I think same family. Right? But Radar, I say, damn, man, if only my daughter could marry a baseball player.

25:35Because God damn, this house is so nice.

This week on the podcast, I am sitting down with Ray Porter, the narrator of Andy Weir's audiobook project Hail Mary. Massive sci-fi adventure about survival and science.

29:00and what happens when you wake up alone very far from earth. I really had to make a decision because I caught myself getting that frog in my throat and starting to get teary as I'm narrating some of these sections. And it's like, okay, yo, yo, yo, is this indulgent? And I really thought about it. I was like, no, at this point, it would kind of be betraying the trust the author and the listener have in telling this story if I don't go through it. But there's places in this book that deeply emotionally affected me. and I left it on the mic. That's great. Because it served the story. People will say like, oh my God, I cried at the end.

29:35It's like, yeah, dude, me too. Listen to Earsay, the Audible and iHeart Audiobook Club on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcasts.

Matt Niemer made the camp podcast. That shit made us Instagram and everything. Sean Peckas tells me, Joe, yo, I want to get on your team. My team is softball. in the South Bronx, when I say A to Z, everybody's a legend, like the nicest fucking skip to my loo of softball. My shit is assembled. Niggas defected of a cruise we had beef with. Everything, everybody on my team, right? I'm out there every Saturday and Sunday playing against them.

32:15Remember they had a guy named Lucho? Lucho hit a home run every time he batted up. I struck Lucho out, by the way. Lucho hit a whole run He told us all these stories Every fucking time he bat up I struck him out He cannot live What happened at Yankee Stadium? What happened at Yankee Stadium? Shout out to a guy named Boomer He put my shit on the roof But listen I was so good niggas would take me to other neighborhoods and be like yo Fat Joe gonna pitch the whole neighborhood come out I'm striking everybody out and I'm talking shit You think this is Joe and Jada? How about when we in your hood and I'm dissing you in front of your wife and your family.

32:53You ain't shit, you bum-ass motherfucker. Fuck out of here, you pussy motherfucker. Like, I'm doing this. Beckas, you there with me? I was there. So Beckas hyping this guy up. Everybody who knows him for the Bronx, Joe's the best pitcher in the world. He goes on CNN, ESPN, all the time. He made a fucking world press tour. Come to Yankee Stadium, the world's greatest softball pitcher will be pitching. Fat Joe is a living legend. Them niggas hit about five back-to-back home runs off of me. Shit was up a deck in Yankee Stadium. Rich is fighting to cry. I hear Rich in the stadium. Fuck you, pussy.

33:32Who you talking about? Your man's a bum. That's the shit Peck be doing when they be talking about me. Oh, man, no, no. But listen, listen, it's a lot of people at your game, but not like a Yankee game. I hear the argument. So I hear Rich play. Who was it? Mayor? They like, fuck you. My man's there, man. Fuck you. I'm like, your ranch chill for now. It's a softball game. But let's say the truth. In that game, you don't use the official softball. You use the green softball that when you hit it, it's the automatic. That an official softball? No. Green. We use the real shit. We use the real shit. No.

34:18We use the real shit that if you hit a home run, you hit a home run. Your shit is corked. They're using those fucking soft, like Incrediballs in the Bronx. That's why you got fucking 37 championships. Y 'all using them fucking Incrediballs. We using the real shit. We got the real shit out there. You guys got the steroid joint. You tap it, home run. It's baseball. anyway every time one of those former baseball players run up to me anywhere carbone miami f1 they tell a story to the 20 people around them how they smacked my train track they could be like smacked your you don't remember me i'm alan katz i smacked your shit to the train tracks.

35:08In Yankee Stadium. In Yankee Stadium. Yo, that shit crazy right there, CC. Yo, CC man, that jacket, Dior, huh? Yo. Dior. This guy's crazy. I wore it because I knew, I thought he would have something similar on, but. I got Louave on, don't get that. That's what I said. That shit, that shit. With them jammer, these jammer, you got these yet? You ain't get them yet. They sold out too quick. Did you get them? Yes or no? You still underestimated me. No, he got them. He got them. He got them. I'm looking for these. Ronnie Kiff got some Air Max. He keep telling me if I put them on the show, he going to give me a kiss them.

35:54Them shits might come out regular already before he comes on the show.

36:01I don't consider myself a sneakerhead. You got sneakers. But it's only one brand, though. He tried to steal two. It's only one brand. That's what I'm saying. So there's no way I could be a sneaker. He tried to steal two. Nah, you got the right brand. You could be rocking the best of Skechers. You got the best of Jordan. You got the best of brands. The nigga Jose Alvarado the other day had on and once. Like, come on. This is a foul on the play. And once. They might have given him the bag. You know what's crazy? The coach. The fucking coach came over to me. He was like, look at your man's shits.

36:36Because, you know, I busted Coach Brown's chops every day. He got some bullshits on them. Give him a pair of sneakers, then. Send him some. Listen, he coached for Autism Awareness Month with some Air Max, and we won by 40 points. I told Coach, it was the sneakers, man. Take those shits off. Them sneakers he got on is like solitary confinement. That shit all the way foul. Like, I'm like, yo, no cushion? What's going on? The thing about Jordan Brand, though, is that you on for life. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's one of them things where they never stop. Once they start, they never stop. So, I play in this game for free.

37:18You know what I'm saying? Yo, let me tell you something, Brand Jordan. Shout out to Michael Jordan. You know the story. Kiss hates when I repeat stories, but sometimes you got to repeat. I mean, I'm starting to run out of shit. Ain't no way you running out of shit. No, I'm running out of shit. Ain't no way. When you see me in the show, listen, guys. When you see me in the show, and out of nowhere I'm cutting off the guests, it's not because I'm cutting them off. It's because I thought of something even more diabolical to ask him. I'm like, oh, he's like, let him talk. I'm like, no, I got one. We got my young Miami up here.

37:59I fucked that one up, though. And I'm like, who fucked up the game? Who started tricking? Was it the ball players? Was it the rappers? Like, because shit unnecessary out here now. Like, motherfuckers is really, you got girls talking about they getting 50 ,000. They this, this, that. I'm like, who fucked up the game? What was wrong when we used to, you'd take a girl to dinner? And you didn't let her answer? He didn't let her answer? Nah, because I was getting up. She was about to name niggas. Like, Kevin Durant, boy. I had her. And they start going, they start like, I fucked up. I fucked up. I fucked up.

38:38I fumbled that one. She was about to go bad. Like, she was like, hey, you know, the rappers compete with the, wait a minute. And I overtaught. Had I fell back right there, we would have had exclusive one-on-one. That shit, she's about to, but who fucked up the game? You asking me? Don't answer that. Shit. How you feeling? Let me tell you something. Do you think I fucked up that game, man, where my shit was off point? No, you was there. I was there. I walked out and saw you. Yes. When I walked out, what's the problem, man?

39:15You know what it is? It's the stadium. The bounce back. The Dodger Stadium, they have one sound system that's all the speakers are in the middle of the stadium, like the old Yankee Stadium used to be. If you performed at old Yankee Stadium, that shit would have been just like Ice Cube shit was in L.A. Our stadium. That nigga Ice Cube was crystal clear. Our shit was crystal clear. That's why Hov brought the band when he did for game two. He performed in center field with the whole band and speakers and shit in the stadium. That's why I don't like doing halftimes. Yeah. Aside from the stadium speakers.

39:52I'm taking the check anywhere. By the way, they paid a lot of money that game. I grew up five blocks from Yankee Stadium. The only inspiration we had. I grew up in the Bronx. I'm telling y 'all, you guys, you got luxury. We only had two radio stations playing hip-hop on Friday. You know we got more guests, right? No, no, but hold up. The Bronx was fucking Vietnam. No, I'm dove. When you cut this shit up, show the clips on YouTube of fucking Vietnam. Vandons, buildings, mattresses. Yo, listen, the only inspiration I had was the bright lights when you had a night game at Yankee Stadium. And shout out Dave Winfield Foundation.

40:30They used to give us free tickets to the bleachers. And to go perform at Yankee Stadium and not rock some Tims? I wore the Biggie shits and they cooked me for wearing the Biggie shits. They was like, look, you got fake Tims on. The point is, I'm going to tell you what happened to me. Y 'all want the conspiracy? How was it for the sound check? The sound check was fine, right? Beautiful manifesto. Nobody's dead. I did three sound checks. I think Fox, I think truck guy, they fucked me. He says nobody. Yeah, what's the guys over there at Fox, like Tucker Carlson and all of them? They fucked me. They said, this guy ain't with us.

41:15Put the boozy doozy. And his shit was like, I perform every night. Why did my shit fuck up on the biggest stage in the world? I had your guy. What's his name? Adam Blackstone? Jesse Collins. I had the guys. The biggest in the world. By the way, Jesse Collins. Hold on. Straight instrumental. Yeah. Jesse Collins. Adam Blackstone, the living legends of all living legends. They gave me them ear shits. And we practiced. is only in your ear. They don't work if this shit ain't reached. It was horrible. I felt great, though. It's the stadium. Yeah. The old Yankee stadium would have been done. I caught a great picture.

42:01I caught a great picture with Soto. He got to leave this ear, go around the whole stadium and go back to that ear. By the time it gets to that ear, it's a whole nother line. Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something an average fan don't know. The Yankees got another baseball field inside of Yankee Stadium where y 'all warm up. Cold punch. Not him. No, no, no. Yo, they in there with a whole nother. It's a whole nother world. So they gave me access to the bullpen. Yo, this guy, A-Rod, what was it like working with A-Rod? No, no, no. No, because you see, that's that shit. That's that shit.

42:41I'm getting some more. Alex. Alex is the smartest baseball player and the best baseball player I ever played with. How is he as a person? Good dude. You know, the man was with J-Lo. He is the best baseball player ever. I gotta use the Beth. J-Lo, you having a Sky Rizzy moment? You gotta go downstairs. There ain't one up here. Let me explain something to you. This guy, A-Rod. I met him 20 times in my life. I met A-Rod 20 times in my life, and every time I met him, he goes, hi, I'm Alex Rodriguez. I had to finally tell a nigga, like, yo, cut this shit out. You know I'm Fat Joe, you A-Rod. I met you 20 times.

43:21What the fuck is that? Hi, I'm Alex Rodgers. When you told him, did he get it right, though? After that, I got it right. I seen him at the stadium that night. He was like, hey, Fat Joe, yo, my daughter wants to say hi. It was, what the fuck is that about? Got to get him right sometimes. That's what I was talking about. We're blessed. We got the gift and the curse. with Knicks fans and we ain't win shit since 1973. The other day, I almost got locked up. Like, you would have been mad. You would have looked at the channel ABC, rapper Fat Joe. He robs a guy for an imaginary chain and beat him up. And you know how the lawsuit go.

44:01I paid about$30 in my life where I whip an annoying person's ass. And then they come back and you got to throw them$25 ,000 or something. They drop the case. That's a normal consistency of my early youth. This guy, first of all, I was so tight the Knicks loss. So everybody out there who are Knicks fans, the Fat Joe you saw right after the Knicks loss the other day, it's not a normal Fat Joe. Because I know there was normal people out there that looked at me and was like, yo, this guy's an asshole. I screamed on the valet guy. I've been parking my car there for 30 years. The first thing I do when I walk in there, I give him a tip.

44:45Keep my shit in the front. He told me my shit was in the second floor. Never in the history of mankind has my shit been in the... We just lost. The fans don't understand. They still like, yo, how about a pick? What's love? I'm like, yo, not least. Listen to me, Becca. I swear to God, this dude harassed me from the door we came out to the garage. Yo, Joe and Jader. Yeah, they stopped. Yo, this. Joe and Jader. Yo, I love you. This, he wouldn't stop. The guy was selling, like, little dolls and shit. He chased me to the fucking shit. Some girl said, yo, my man, you doing too much. She tells him, you doing too much, my man.

45:34He kept harassing me. Now you come out, finally get the car. I'm stuck in traffic. He follows my car by the side of the window until I get to the post office. Because you know that's bumper to bumper. I open the window. This is incredible. He's making history. I said. He's doing the show talking to Pekka. No, but he got my right camera, so they think I'm really talking to him. But Rich kept saying, Rich kept saying, and Rich is the hothead. He was like, yo, calm down. He's trying to show love. He don't know how to. It's a mad guest over here. I know, but hold up. I'm telling you. Why you stopping my story like that, man?

46:13Ten minutes a person. You turned into an hour piece. This guy was such an asshole. I lowered the window. I said, my man, this is how niggas get punished. You, my friend, are going to get your ass whipped out here, but bad. Oh, this is the Nick God. And the man, I don't know, maybe he understood that language. The Nick Game God. He looked at me and backed up and walked off finally. But I told him, this is how niggas get punished. You won't stop. I'm going to get out there and hurt you, my man. Like, you got to stop. And thank God I went home, but that's when the devil's in the air. So you know what I do to Harry?

46:54She's watching. There's the devil be in the air. when the devil's in the air, I run home. I told everybody, yo, I got to go home. I'm telling Rich, get me home, get me home. Something bad is going to happen. Like when you live in the hood and motherfuckers is sleeping and your man catch beef and come wake you up out to sleep, they kill his man. He don't know how deep the beef is or nothing. He get up to rep his man like Mad Money Mark. My man, shocker, I can tell you about 100 guys. They woke up out there asleep. They were safe, home. Yo, such and such got beef. They went over there and got murdered.

47:32When the devil's in the air, go home. Tomorrow's a new day. Cece, thank you for coming on. Never love this up. Thank you, C. Don't let Cece fool you. He can do push-ups. He got a lot of muscles now. Who you got up next, brother? DJ Technician. Oh, shit. From the Bronx, New York. You might as well bring the two Jewish guys, too. Yo, he got to fix this in, guys. I think Pistol P got to finally get his interview or something. Get your mic. He got to take this. Pistol coming. Everybody coming if you don't take it out. Let me check. All right. What's good, B? 52:43Complete disclosures available at public.com slash disclosures. Hey, everyone. It's Cal Penn. I'm the host of Earsay, the Audible and iHeart Audiobook Club. This week on the podcast, I am sitting down with Ray Porter, the narrator of Andy Weir's audiobook Project Hail Mary, massive sci-fi adventure about survival and science, and what happens when you wake up alone very far from Earth. I really had to make a decision because I caught myself getting that frog in my throat and starting to get teary as I'm narrating some of these sections. And it's like, OK, yo, yo, yo, is this indulgent? And I really thought about it.

53:22I was like, no, at this point, it would kind of be betraying the trust the author and the listener have in telling this story if I don't go through it. But there's places in this book that deeply emotionally affected me. And I left it on the mic. That's great. Because it served the story. People will say like, oh my God, I cried at the end. It's like, yeah, dude, me too. Listen to Earsay, the Audible and iHeart Audiobook Club on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcasts.

55:45Who fucked it up? The rappers or the... Yo, who started tricking first? Because you've been around from the time where they just take you to a nice dinner. Oh, I was getting tricked on. Okay, but go ahead. That's not what I'm saying. Was you getting tricked on in the days when guys said they don't trick? Well, my father taught me that a man gives you everything. So if a guy took me to Home Depot, I needed a door. And then he said, then return the door. So my father taught me, like, they got to come to the rent. Oh, shit. So I never really ever, even when I was like, my father gave me everything I wanted to.

56:22But even when I had my first boyfriend, like he already knew that I needed to get the Jordans before the Jordans came out of school. So I had the guy that had the plug. So I was already stepping in school fresh. So you was talking to older guys while you was in high school? Maybe a year older. Little hustlers coming through in the car to get you. Well, I made that one little mistake. My first real, real boyfriend, he happened to be on the block and my father was mad. And then I looked at him like every, every teenager says, Daddy, he's just like you. So I made that little mistake. But yeah, but no, we come from, I come from Harlem.

56:52Like a man's supposed to take care of home. So I'm the wrong person to ask, I guess. Oh, you're the wrong, no. So there is a. Oh, who messed it up? The basketball players or? Or the rappers. Who's the guys that before they met you, they ain't even meet you yet. And they're like, yo, I want to take you shopping. and I want to buy you a bag. Who did it? Who fucked up the game? I mean, you know, I had a couple of skeletons in my closet. I don't want to name it, but who did it? I'm not giving you a name. I'm telling you it to me. It's an equal, like, they're even in my world. They both fucked up the game.

57:31They both fucked it up because if you had a hit record, you was tricking. If you want, you know, I was going to the games while everybody was doing spring breaks. I was chilling. I mean, it just, it was just what it was about. And back then you couldn't buy a body. So when you, you was built, you was stacked like me. It was easy. Yeah, you got to have that. It was easy. Nah, that's the original system. Booming in the, booming in the, booming in the system. But I think the rappers did though, honestly. Huh? I think the rappers did because it was a video shit. You think the rappers did it? I think the videos, the I'm a hustler baby, the, the, the, the being on the yachts and the, the Cristal, the glowy glasses.

58:07Like y 'all really did that. because now I think with Instagram and social media, right? You had to meet people. You had to talk, yo, what's up? My mom, what's your name? Now it's just, they hit you in the DM for fucking Albuquerque, New Mexico. You know what I call the DMs? It's like, I call social media Amazon for hoes. Like you, it's so easy to connect now. Like there's no longer any type of like human trans, It's literally, I like your pictures. I had to learn because, you know, I'm not a young man. Yeah, yeah, me too. I had to learn. I like a man to put in some effort. So whenever I see somebody liking my pictures too much, I'm like, is he a retard or he's trying to talk to me?

58:50Oh, just a lot. I like your pictures all the time. I never talked to you in my life. Yeah, but you're my brother, though. Like, you like my pictures. I'm like, yeah. They always telling me stop liking people's pictures. Yeah, but I know Lorena, too. They tell me that all the time. And I'm like, yo, they doing it this night. Like, I'm thinking like a real normal guy. Yeah, but now when you go back two years ago, that means you're, like, literally studying my page to see who I know, what I do. And it really let me know, like, I'm clocking you, shorty. I'm going to tell you some crazy shit. I don't even know who follows me.

59:20Wow. How about that? I can't even tell you. I'm so dinosaur. I don't know what girls follow me. That's a lie. He's so rich. He don't give a fuck about Instagram. No, I don't care about... I don't... Listen, they try to hack my Instagram. Becca's four days in the raw. Swear to God. Am I lying? Instagram made me change my shit four days in a row. I got the most boring DM you ever seen in your fucking life. So if you hacking my shit to see you not seeing shit. I don't know. You know what? I'm going to speak to Lorraine. She might be hacking my shit. I don't want that smoke. That's also a way, right?

1:00:00I want to be the rabbit's shoulder as a world that we wanted to belong and be a part of. It's like watching videos. Videos used to be the shit. Like, you told a story. And the story was a rich, it's rock and roll. It's like, it's like, it was like sex, drugs, and like. You thought that was a, she was a model for you, man. You know that was my story, right? I can't believe I wasn't in that video. You fucked the game up. Yo, I can't believe I wasn't in that video. You fucked the game up. I cannot believe I wasn't in that video. You fucked this whole shit up, nigga. Yo, I had to dance for it, too.

1:00:30Like, the hair dropped out to the calf. I was like, yes. You had to dance to the. She was a model for a year to have. And then I became a model. So, yeah, I think y 'all messed it up, and then social media kind of enhanced it, and then here comes the athletes, like the wives now. Everybody's got a Birkin, and it's just, the game is crazy. Wives with the Birkin, then it made everybody know what the Birkin is. It ain't tricking if you got it. All the girls know, no, this guy's a trick. Is there serial trickers out there? Facts. that all the girls know, yo, fuck with James Harding. He's a trick. No, I'm not saying him, but yes, there's things like that.

1:01:09Yes. Yo, what happened? I'm not even saying James Harding. I just said an example. Well, he's an example. Allegedly. No, we're not talking about him. I'm just saying. It's serial. Absolutely, yes. I think that it's like the barbershop. I think you guys, like you guys gossip more than women to me. But then it's like we go, we kick it, we see, we hear. So there's girls who say, oh, that guy's cheap. Absolutely. And there's some girls that say, yo, that nigga is throwing the bag around. But you see it. You see it. No, no, I'm asking. Do they girls like... Yes, women talk. And then, I mean, I'm a smart mom.

1:01:46My mom told me not to share no information if I really like them. So if you tricking, why would I want to share it? So then I have to go fight you hoes. So, like, I don't share... I don't have conversations. There's greats and then there's fuckboys. If you happen to be One of my greats I'm not sharing No details With a bestie About nothing Because this is my What qualifies What qualifies A guy as a fuck boy When you outside Doing the most Like we also look At your mileage Like we don't want to be Like if I look At some of your past And your past Doesn't look too great I'm also not as Interested It's the same thing I'm a I'm a go Women's advocate You mean community Cock guys Absolutely Yes They out there too And the girls know Fuck boy Thank you very much Thierry for the great experience.

1:02:32It's very rare we have women up here speaking truth to power. Hey, yo. Each is on A.T. Congratulations on 100. I'm going to let the show go on. We love you, Tech. Tech, I love you. That boy Tech, living legend. Next up. Benny and Fuego Bass. Let's go. The Butch is coming. Butcher. Boys. Crack. Yo, what's up? You know what I mean? Y 'all the butcher in the building, man. Got us on the 100th episode, man. Y 'all did that quick, too. Legendary shit. We set a standard. You got to be of a certain level to even come on. 100%. You turn down a lot of people. Some people turn us down. Nah, I really like that.

1:03:24Yeah, they do. Yo, listen, man. What a run you guys have had. Yes, sir. I've been up to your town. All the Bronx crackheads got shipped up there. Oh, man. In fact, the 88ers. Oh, man. All the smokers. That's why the West Side crazy like that then. We go to Watson. We go to Brooke. We go here. They all up there now. And they like, yo, what's up, poppy? Like, they think I'm still on the block, but at Buffalo. I'm like, yo, listen. You know they love you up there. I'm here for Chick-fil-A. He lay up there. No, I love them. I'm just talking about the crackheads. They shipped them on a bus up there.

1:04:04The Yonkers crackheads. I'm telling you, one day they came. Yo, everybody free bus ride. They threw them niggas up there. They said, yo, y 'all in Buffalo now. That's why that shit like that. The west side where all the poppies at. You know what I'm saying? It's crazy up there. I got cousins up there. If they tell you they're my cousins, they ain't lying. They told me already. They told me. Nah, those are my family. That's my family 1 million percent. Where you got family? Texas, right? You got a cousin. She came up at a show I had in Texas. She was like, I'm Jada Kess' cousin. I knew that was your cousin.

1:04:35Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm not stealing my glasses, Jada. I ain't going to steal. I just need them to keep me cool. You ain't stealing them shits. I ain't a thief. I don't steal. I know you don't steal, man. And you got diamonds all over your glasses and shit. I had to wear these on Joe and Jada. Y 'all be putting that shit over. Your man got scared of us. Your man did a U-turn. What's this man? The fly nigga. He didn't get scared. I heard. Fly guard wanted. He wanted to make sure his outfit. Oh, and then he came. He made a U-turn. He came in. He said, like, pass, don't go. Right, right, right.

1:05:07What's the sign they throw up when the fucking nigga was mopping on the floor? He said, pass, don't go. He pulled up. He's the fly guard. What they call him? Fly guard. Fly guard. It need to be fly. 100%. He pull up to the show. He said, he seen that Fendi for laser cut. He said, now I got to come back to the show. I said, yo, fly guard. What's up? We've been waiting for you. Come on. He ready? I got to get my shit together. I can't come all in with that. He going to be ready for you next time. You got that shit. I'll be wearing that shit. When he come back, he going to come heavy. I don't know he coming.

1:05:47Hold on. Need another flag. Joby flies a motherfucker, too. We fly Joe. Play with these people, man. Crack thinking they don't give him his just due. You don't think so? I feel like they do. They know. I think he's getting it now. I think he's getting it now. No, you getting it now. Because I'm in their face every day throwing this shit on. They got no fucking, what are you, deaf, dumb, and blind? You don't see this shit? This is the way, man. You ain't got it. I seen a post. I seen a post the other day. They was like, somebody was saying, post some shit that Fat Joe had on back in the day. And niggas was posting, showing them.

1:06:19Like, Joe been putting that shit on. I been doing it. I think it was fat phobia. They said they don't give you your props like that. No, we fucking them up right now. The fat guys is doing shit? You, you, you. Because they wasn't giving me my props. Listen, man. Somebody actually analyzed it as fat phobia. Fat Joe, because he's fat. Niggas don't want to give it up to him. But he was wearing this shit. They pulled out all the fly shit. He's this, this, this. But nobody looked at me like that. Right. They ain't want to put you up there. I never got invited to like fashion week. Still. Fashion week, the Louis shows.

1:06:55I probably got more Louis than all these guys. I don't get invited to nothing. They don't really want to fuck with me like that. The fashion world. And I'm cool with everybody. You should bring back the FJ560 joints. That was a hustler's coat. The snorkel we had had so many pockets. The cops couldn't find every pocket. we specifically made us dope boys snorkel where you fucking had pockets all over under here, over there, over there matter of fact, the cop told me that I was in City Island where I seen your aunt last time God told me, yo, your aunt God told me, yo, I retired from the police your heart, your jacket was the hardest jacket to find something from somebody the police said that shit?

1:07:42the police, retired police, it's a long time ago Yo, I met your aunt in the fucking city island. What am I saying wrong, Giz? Who said you said anything wrong? You making my shit go up. Diet Pepsi. Somebody get me a Diet Pepsi. It's your fault, man. You making my shit go up. I need a Diet Pepsi. What you got going on, bud? What's coming out? Oh, man. You stay on tour? You stay driving? No, I stay working, man. Stay on tour overseas in the States. Me and Fuego Base just dropped some shit. Ashes in the safe. Ashes in the safe out now. Fuego, this nigga right here is crazy. Appreciate it. It's crazy.

1:08:19I just want the world to know about him. That's why I brought my boy with me. He that guy. You know what I'm saying? What does ashes in the safe mean? When you ran through that money. When you burnt that money up. It's gone. That's the case. I done did that shit too many times. Exactly. Exactly. Real shit. Burnt that money. I'm fucked up. I'm a serial ash in the safe. I had a nightmare last night. I swear to God, didn't I tell you, Mayor? I had a nightmare last night. I went broke. And for some reason, I kept opening the shade. No. I swear to my mother, rest in peace, last night I had two nightmares that I went broke.

1:09:00And I opened the window and people were at the beach. Like, imagine your window was in Miami Beach. And they was with fucking umbrellas and drinking champagne. And I would say, yo, I'm broke. So I told Mae, I said, yo, Mae, I'm about to be one of the niggas. I'm going to stay in your house for a month. I'm going to go to Rich's house. Rich got a fly house. I said, Rich, you going to have, I'm on tour, nigga. I'm the uncle that they be like, yo, he here that long? I just told Ted Smooth I need a room in this house. I might need one in yours. If I get broke, I got too many friends. I could just be like brother man from Martin and shit, come down from the window, fix me a sandwich, nigga.

1:09:41I did enough I'm good for a slot I got a little room y 'all get 100 episode money man y 'all niggas ain't going broke man let me tell you something right now they exaggerate the money like I should have knew like everything else is we getting to the bag? absolutely but they exaggerated the numbers and trust me if it was the numbers they said we would have got it that we get in the bag. It's just, it ain't what they would say. Niggas were saying, yo, 100 episode, 300 million to it. Nah, that shit there, I gotta be the Cy Young winner for that shit. I don't know what else to do to these niggas. They paralyzed.

1:10:28We number one. I'm the capper. I'm the this. I don't know what else to do to these guys. Like, we've been killing these niggas. These niggas used to wear T's. And now we up here with the fly shit. They can't wear their essentials no more on their podcast no more. You gotta get fly. Or your shit looking like the electric boogie, nigga. Your shit looking like and a lot of their shit look like that now. No. I look at the podcast now because, you know, people come, people make a lot of money. They come sit in our couch because this is just upstairs and this is fly. Our little setup, they come and go, your joke.

1:11:09I go to podcasts. Y 'all niggas shit look like money. You got a hundred cameras. I'm like, yo, of course, right? But when I look at them niggas shit, that shit look like they still filming with the VHS and all that shit. Shit is horrible. They is not doing it in luxury. It's not ashes in the safe. And Vernon, you ever went broke? You ever did too much? Hell yeah. Hell yeah. This might be ashes in the safe right now. Have you ever did? Are you sliding me the mic? Did you ever blow the bag too much? What's too much? I never went broke. Nigga, I went broke three times. I went broke three times. I was broke in my life.

1:11:54After that, I didn't go back broke. And that's my worst fear, being broke. I'm actually jealous. You're cheap. You're cheap. I'm fucking cheap. You're cheap. You're cheap. If you never went broke, you're cheap. I'm telling you. That's not true. Every day may have come to my house like a fashion show. This nigga iced out some new watch. This nigga, we trying to go broke. We asking you to stay. I'm trying to go broke. This nigga's crazy. He got the wrong meme. He's trying to go broke. Who the fuck is trying to go broke? Nigga, Fat Joe used to load up two private planes with some bum-ass niggas on Section 8, taking him to four seasons all over the world, states and like, yo, God, the Cristal ran out.

1:12:42I was trying to go broke. Millions, nigga. Like, what the fuck? Yo, let me tell you something. I know somebody I can't... Ooh, nah, I can't. But I had a friend... For the 100th episode? Ooh! I honestly believe Big Pun was trying to go broke. Big Pun was living life, man. What? I'm talking about to the last drop. Big Pun had a fucking limousine outside his house. First of all, he won't leave the... I don't care who y 'all niggas think y 'all is. Big Pun is the first person I ever seen with the stash box. South Bronx. Me, visually, first ever stash box. Pun. It's crazy. You remember that? Guess who put him onto the stash box?

1:13:27John Blazer. You know, you remember this? He let off the four pound in front of the cops at the John Blade video. Yo, drive me up the block. Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da. We like, oh, this nigga's going. He was testing it. It's crazy. Him, officer. I don't know. It wasn't me. They just looked at him. And then finally, everybody like, oh, Pong got the flavor stash. Let me tell you something. He had the big four. I know Pong used to have a good time. Silver joint, the Benz. I know he used to have a good time, man. The greatest time you ever seen in your life. Let me explain something. I'm older than him, and I was in the streets.

1:14:05So I knew what he didn't know. Call, you're going to jail, nigga. Yo. So I go up in there and tell him every day. Call, you're going to jail, nigga. It's called, you're going to. Big Pump would have lived a life. He would have been in jail for 100 years or something. Because this shit was unreal. I go in his house. Oh, excuse me. Machine gun. Yo. Oh, let me brush my teeth. Oh, a grenade. Yo. I go over there about a rap. Yo, pass me my rap book. Oh, this is the 22 Deluxe. I'm like, oh, this nigga's going to jail. I kept trying to tell him because I'm in the streets. He didn't have a reality of.

1:14:39We got arrested one time, me and Punt, for fake beating the nigga up like the other day at the Knick game. And the guy, the Andy, he's just rat from the Bronx. He snitched on us. He be over there in Sophia's and all that shit. He's a rat. A nigga's actually famous for ratting on Joe Crack and Big Punt. You ever seen that shit? There's a motherfucker walking around me like, yo, you see homeboy? Yeah, he ratted on Big Pun and Fat Joe. That's an honor now. Like, you're from the Bronx, you Puerto Rican, you ratted on Fat Joe and Big Pun? Like, yo, he's historic. They bust his ass. They almost threw him over the bridge.

1:15:14That nigga famous for that. But Big Pun coming to jail, and they got us in there. They got this cell so small, 40th Precinct. This nigga coming to sale got me like the good time poster. Fat Joe, I'm on my side because he take up the whole shit. I'm like, yo, I see your pun, man. He said, man, they got special jails for celebrities. I said, huh, pun? He said, I'm telling you, God. They got special jails with swimming pools and everything. They just don't want to let you know, but they got it. We're going to go to the... I said, nigga, they're going to throw us in the worst jail you ever seen in your life.

1:15:57Punishment to death, nigga. Thank God we beat that case. But he just wasn't, Big Palm wasn't in his right mind when it came to, like, reality. He was just so smart. But common sense, like, reality, look, he shot in front of the cops. And tested the stash box. So they know they can't find it. When do you know as a rapper, it's time to leave these niggas alone. or just trying to leave this certain shit alone to make the full transition. I want you to answer that, Kis, and then I'll come and answer. I don't even know, but rest in peace to my nigga P, Ian Smith, I remember. I had the deal. We still on the block.

1:16:35And I'm like, yo, when I finish this work right here, I'm done. I got a record deal. I'm not doing it, though. That's right. And he was fucking actually mad. Like, what you mean? You ain't me, dog. when I finish this work right here, I'm not going to get no more. And he couldn't really understand it. Then he ended up going up north at him. He came out. I was lit. Took him to Atlanta All-Star, Jeff Hamilton, all that shit you saying, lobsters and steaks. And then he understood. He's like, yo, remember that time I was mad you said you wasn't hustling no more? Now look at all of this. I'd have been up top.

1:17:19You know that happened to me, right? Yeah, man. And it's so crazy. I thought about this yesterday, right? In my whole career in the streets, I only had two connects. Right? That's it? I would never mention it. Two connects. Who? In my run now. Well, you know, the guy got locked up for 10 years. Guy went to the feds for 10 years. He actually got to come out of jail and hang out with Fat Joe, the rapper, and big pun. I thought about this two days ago. I said, yo, ain't that some shit? Then they came out, hung out with us one day. He never came back around. Well, I hung out with us one day, and he got to see Fat Joey.

1:18:01Because before, I wasn't Fat Joe the rapper. I was, you know, in the streets. But he actually got to see Fat Joey as a rapper. And then, you know, shout out to the guard. He's out there somewhere. You know what I'm saying? So, no, no. Who? No, no, never. Never. We got to get one of these who's off. They say I talk a lot. I don't talk that much. We got 100 episodes. We ain't getting one who. 100 episodes. Man, I brought y 'all something, too. Oh, man. I brought y 'all something, too. They come bearing gifts. We take a gift. Fuck that. Where the bag at? Let me get the bag. Ass in the shape. Oh, shit.

1:18:43Niggas blew through the money. I'm so, I'm asking them for the bag. I'm so smack. I brought y 'all some BSF hats for one. Five. You know what I'm saying? I know, Crack, I know you don't really wear a lot of hats, but... This is five. But look, though, I got 100 episode custom Bills jersey, man. Joe and Jada on that joint. Wow! This week on the podcast, I am sitting down with Ray Porter, the narrator of Andy Weir's audiobook Project Hail Mary. Massive sci-fi adventure about survival and science and what happens when you wake up alone very far from Earth.

1:21:52I really had to make a decision because I caught myself getting that frog in my throat and starting to get teary as I'm narrating some of these sections. And it's like, OK, yo, yo, yo, is this indulgent? And I really thought about it. I was like, no, at this point, it would kind of be betraying the trust the author and the listener have in telling this story if I don't go through it. But there's places in this book that deeply emotionally affected me. And I left it on the mic. That's great. Because it served the story. People will say like, oh, my God, I cried at the end. It's like, yeah, dude, me too.

It's on Sunshine. Happy birthday. Thank you for bringing the big dog through. Tell Ronnie Kiff I need them sneakers How you doing? Bless Respect David Levy So many years you've been entertaining us So many years we hear your voice on the radio Thank you A lot of us grew up and learned reggae music and dancehall music because of you You have kept it more real with reggae music than anybody else in America that I know of.

1:25:27How does it feel to be David Levy and bring them contributions to the game? Well, man, first of all, big up on your 100th show. Thank you. Let's give him a big round of applause. 100, you've had the 100th. Have you ever counted your shows, David? No. 100 ,000. You have a million. No. We've come a long way, and we've got a long way to go. You know? We're still building the concept of Caribbean music. Not only dance hall and reggae, but soca and calypso. Carnival is becoming big all over the world. Carnival is big in Miami. Carnival is big in Toronto. Carnival is big in New York. Carnival is big in Jamaica.

1:26:02Trinidad. There's carnival in Puerto Rico. So carnival is growing big. Soca is growing big. Dance hall and reggae is getting bigger. You just had my good friend Buju Bandit on the other day. He's crossing barriers. That song, I saw how you guys reacted when that thing started playing. You see, it went number one, Kiss. Yeah. No, it really went number one. So that was a big thing, to have that record. You know, Buju's been around for a long time. So listen, and he told me his days with you, and I saw the car. I fat Joe at the car like this. I fat Joe at the car like this. Yo, David Levy, you know, big pun, rest in peace.

1:26:35He shouted you out at one of his biggest songs. Call up the sirens, fall in the virus. And then he was like, rocking you like David Levy. You know, let me tell you something. I can't believe all these years we've been in the same city. I never met you. We've been in the same concert. You brought Buju. I brought Buju on stage in the concert in New York. He brought you on stage. You went right. I went stage left. Fucking crazy. Another concert we were at. We were at many functions in the Bronx. You performed. I've been hearing him for years and never seen. You either, right? Yeah, never. Me too.

1:27:13He's like my introduction to reggae dance hall. Me too. All it came from him. He's my professor. You and Bobby Condis. Him and Bobby Condis is responsible for me knowing anything about. There might have been a time where reggae music took a downfall or a slip. They always kept it strong. We never noticed because you kept going. You kept the train coming back. I thank you for all the accolades. but there are a lot of people beside me that made it happen. You know, we're just part of the wheel to put the wheel in motion. There are a lot of other people that made it happen. And you got to beg to, you know, as they say, what I've done for Caribbean music.

1:27:53What has Caribbean music and reggae and so has done for me? I've been all over the world. I've been to South Africa. I've interviewed Bumi Mandela. I've been to Nigeria, Ghana. And I heard your story about Africa. You know, I heard your story. When we get kidnapped in Africa, that's just one of the many stories, you know? You know? So, yeah, man, but we're here. We continue to push the music. We continue to push it not only regionally, but internationally. You know, with all the stuff going on in Africa right now, this is healing music. This is God-living music. This is a good thing, something that we need.

1:28:23You know what's crazy, Davin Levy? Because I got to bring it up. You know, he reacted to somebody yesterday. I seen a very famous podcast in Africa. Uh-huh. Well, I won't say offense, but took slight offense to me saying that Afrobeats was inspired by Jamaica. Mm-hmm. Do you know this to be true? Do you agree with what I said? Or not? He showed a lot of respect. Loves the show, fan of the show. But he was like, yo, Joe, Afrobeats is African. It's from... Afrobeats been going for a long time. Been going for a long time. Long before what you're hearing now. You have Fela, who you can go to his shrine in Nigeria where he was playing Afrobeats.

1:29:07or they called it at the time, World Beat. They called it what? World Beat. World Beat. World Beat. World Beat. Right. World, W-R-L-D-B-E-A-T. World Beat. Yeah, yeah, World Beat. So it was in Afro beats. It was World Beat music. And the World Beat music consists of Indian music, African music, Chinese music, because it was music of the world. Now, back then, it was saturated with the African music because they had the swag. It was the more popular. But you've got world music coming out of India, world music coming out of China, of all the places, you know? So I don't think you can say, I think influence.

1:29:43They got influenced by the Jamaican music of how to chant over the beats and rap over the beats. But they've been doing their stuff for a long, long, long time. You know what's beautiful, David Levy, that people can't believe they saw David Levy. They've been hearing him forever. Right now they're watching this show. They're like, yo, David Levy. Them boys got David Levy on there. We'll be rocking you. Rocking you, rocking you. Yo, this is the original rude boy, David Levy, from head top to belly button to knee cap to shoe stone to ground. Rocking you, rocking you. You've never been rocked. Go, go, go.

1:30:17Original rude boy, David Levy. Okay, one more time. Yo, this is the original rude boy, David Levy, rocking you, from head top to belly button to knee cap to shoe stone to ground. Big fat Joe and the crew. Listen, we here, we doing it. David Levy rocking you. Rocking you, rocking you. Hold on, hold on. Are you aware that I've got a Caribbean restaurant downtown Brooklyn? No, I didn't. We got Caribbean food here right now. But I want to invite you guys to really come to my restaurant. What's it called? I'm coming. Say it. Huh? I'm a cold. What's the name of the restaurant? Man, I'm going to tell you.

1:30:48Mango Bay. Mango Bay. I heard it. Mango Bay, baby. I heard it. Let me ask you something. You ever ate that beef patty in Miami over there? Tasty? Yes, yes, yes. How good is their beef patty? It's good. Buju said he got a better one in Jamaica called Tasty 2. Yeah, they've got some good ones now. Trinidad is putting out good beef patties, good roadies, and stuff like that, and Jamaica's putting out some good patties. Man, we love you, David Levy, man. I love you, Pat Joe. I love you, big man. I love you, big man. Appreciate it. Let me tell you something. That voice, that voice you got there, like, did you grow up with that voice?

1:31:23Yeah, my dad got the same voice. Yeah. My grandfather got the same voice. Yeah. He had the same voice, yeah. Wow. And what is your background? African-American. African-American. Yeah, my mom and dad. I'm Cuban and Puerto Rican. My mom's from South Carolina. My dad's from Memphis. Okay, so you don't have no Caribbean blood in you. I just got raspy. I got Caribbean. I'm Puerto Rican and Cuban. Okay, Puerto Rico. Big up everything. Hey, Cuba's going through a lot right now, man. They'll be all right real soon. Big up all the Cuban massive. I believe they're going to be all right. The Cubans send a lot of doctors to the Caribbean.

1:31:53No. English speaking Caribbean. French speaking Caribbean. Spanish speaking. Dutch speaking Caribbean. A lot of doctors came through there from Cuba. so we can't turn our backs on Cuba now. That's right. We love you, Davin Levy. Thank you for coming to the show with Jada. Appreciate you. Big up, Davin Levy. 100 episodes. Make some noise. Fat Joe and Jada Kess, baby. It's saying. Rocking you, rocking you, rocking you, rocking you. Rocking you! You're going to make that a sound bite. Yo, I saw Tony Sunshine out there. Where's Tony at? Rip. Let's do Rip. Then Tony at the Rip. Whoever's right here, let's get shit rocking.

1:32:29man. That man. That man walked in here looking like a janitor. He took a look at that swag. He went back, came back, Louis Vuitton, head to fucking toe. You know one thing you don't do is take shots at comedians. Huh? You don't take shots at comedians. Well, we want the guy to be funny anyway. What are you talking about? I want him to cut me up. I don't give a fuck. I didn't see him looking like a janitor. I'm a good sport. I have my Wild Now clothes on because I was going around today because we at the Barclays and I was going around putting, I was going around in different high schools, giving out tickets today.

1:33:02We went by the prisons. We really activate that. Doing field. Always giving back to the community. Boots on the ground work, man. Touching people. Everybody don't got that right now, 2026. Of course. Boots on the ground. I have to, man, because, you know, that's the longest running urban show right now in history. And to be a cast member and then be part owner of the brand and take it, because we started that. The tour part of it started at Amazon and Queens, believe that or not. Wow. It started at Queens. In front of 1 ,500 people. We were sitting there and I never forget. Somebody always get killed in front of Amazur.

1:33:29I know, right? Every time I ever went to a show in Bam, Missouri, somebody get bodied. I swear to you. And they still come back, though. Yeah. Amazur, Queens. Still got the same clientele. Amazur, Queens, right in Jamaica, Queens. Last place Tupac was spotted. I'm telling you. That was the last place Tupac was spotted? Yes. In New York City. You know, Tupac live in New York, so we will see him. That was the party? That was the shit with Biggie and Kanan? That was Garden, right? I don't know. I know the one when you was at 7 Mac 11s. That's not that. That was Madison Square Garden. All right. I'm talking about the last place Tupac was spotted in New York City was a party in Amazura with the dudes stretching all them guys from Queens.

1:34:07Somebody got body. Wow. They always got body there. Like, Amazura is fun and dangerous. It is. It is fun and dangerous, but, you know, it was a staple. And at the time, the whole Wild N Out tour started because I was writing for Nick, and we was in California, and he was on stage, and he was looking, and he saw Cat Williams. And he was like, yo, man, I wish that I could do that. I wish I could sell out arenas and be in arenas. And I was like, bro, you put me on a show. You cultivated so many people. This is what I'm going to do. If this is what you want to do, this is what I'm going to do. So I took my own bread, booked Amazon, because that was the only place that, you know, held it.

1:34:38And everybody was like, oh, it's not going to go. It's a kid show. Nobody want to see it. And Nick's agents, everybody was like, it's not going to be a big thing. It's just going to, we know it's a TV show. We pay people to sit in the audience. It's not going to be that. And it turned out to not only did I do one show there, we did two shows there. And then we went all the way to Long Island and Patchogue and we did three shows there. But what happened was something weird happened. I'm sitting with all the agents and I'm like, yo, this is dope. Look what we built. And I'm thinking I'm just going to get it started and they're going to take it and we're going to run with it.

1:35:04They looked at me and said, those people don't matter. And when they said that, I was like, what do you mean those people don't matter? He's like, look at this venue. Look where it's at. Look at the people. And I was like, you got nurses. You got students. You got so many people. So then I went, went to Nick, took the brand and we did 13 cities. 13 cities. And I put it on my back. And that's when Axe J, he was coming to all of me. I was calling every person I knew and putting it together. And we was the number two tour in the country that year. It was number two on Polestar, right behind Kelly Clarkson.

1:35:32We did two arenas. To this day, I still hold the record in B.C. We did the Show Palace Arena. We did 12 ,000 in. And we did Capital One that same night, 9 o 'clock show, and did 17 ,000 right there. First person to do two shows with two different arenas in the same city in one night. Man, that's fucking crazy, man. Are y 'all still selling it out? Long run, let me ask you something. When I meet, like, his wife, Style's wife, I go, how you doing? A lot of respect. How you doing, miss? How do you greet so many Nick Cannon wives? Easy. He don't have none. Did you leave all of them? They never wives.

1:36:08They never wives. They ex-wilding out girls. So I know them from being on. Yo. Ex-wilding out. He knew them already. He knew them already. Oh, so now you. Okay, got you. You the hell wilding out girl. You the new one. You the new one in the G-Wag. I never knew a guy who could get away with that legally in the United States of America. 9, 10. He got a lot of money, huh, kids? You think the money could do it? It can't solve everything, but it can cool it down, though. Tahari, we need you one more second. Come on. You know what's funny? I've known Tahari for a minute. We actually had a sketch show together.

1:36:43Me, her, and Cardi and Mack Wilde. Back in the day, we put that together. So it's just weird being in this reunion stuff. I'm in the building. I'm just trying to ask you a quick question. I might have a job, Fee. I might have a job, but we don't got no females on here. What's that about to me? As your advisor. As my advisor. Yeah. A guy like Nick Cannon, 12 Wives, shit like that. Is that, is that, is that, would you be a 12 Wives? A nigga might want to die. Oh, no, no, no, I'm not sharing. I know sharing is caring. I'm kind of, I'm a Taurus. I'm territorial. However, if I do sign up for the job...

1:37:23You've got to be understanding. What happens if a man comes over and says, hey, this is what I require. If you communicate and I subscribe to it, it's all good. I'm going to give you what the fuck you want. You was introduced to it. Yes. If I feel like being a part of, then I can't complain once I've subscribed and took that job. Does Nick Cannon got 12 wives because he's super rich? No wives. You have to be able to... Wait a minute. Here's the thing. 12 baby moments. Now y 'all got me messed up because y 'all think that because y 'all not on paper, y 'all not married. Sir? No, no, no, no. But he's saying 12 wives.

1:37:57Let it happen like he assaulted. She's trying to... Like he assaulted himself. Like he and she. She looked up the... Well, he doesn't legally... She looked up the rules. But depending on the state, common law... Oh, no, no, no, no. Nick Cannon, I got eyes like everybody else. He got 12 women thinking they his wife. Yes, and that's... For sure. So here's the thing, though. That's all of the power of the dollar bill. You right. You right. No, I ain't gonna lie. All right, so you can afford it. Yes. I'm not saying that. I'm saying if Nick Cannon was broke and his name was Nicholas Cannon. Absolutely not.

1:38:31He would not have 12. He would have the. If Nick Cannon was broke with all of them babies and all of them. He couldn't afford it. It'd be stress. That nigga would be 880 pounds. Hey, I'm gonna keep it real. Is Adam Zappel Be out there I'm not gonna lie I done looked at Some of my exes And I said If that was broke On a block I probably would've Walked right past him It's real If he was broke On a block I probably would've Walked right past him Yes Some And our money attracts Some of them I think power does Take it back Not even Nick I think power Anybody with that much Equity You gotta be able To afford it You gotta be able To afford it And no money Or not You got that much Kids First of all and other significant others?

1:39:15As a woman, I'm telling you. First of all, you wouldn't even have that many if you were a woman. You're right. But hold up, think about it. Every girl before, Nick had more money than Nick. Mariah had more money than Nick. At the time, he always dates up. No money brings money. Heidi Klum, he's always jealous of Nick Cannon, nigga, we're not saying he's doing the wrong thing. That motherfucking little man on the phone. The American dream. What are you talking about? I'm going to keep it up. He not stop a lot. No matter who you are. That motherfucker living the American dream. Yeah, but no matter who you are, after a certain amount of time, if you ain't coughing up that bread, woman or man anywhere, you're going to stink.

1:39:52Like, people won't fuck with you. Like, you can pretend to—you can't pretend that far. Like, as a man with 12 kids or wives, 19 kids. Yes, he says it. How many kids he got? He, like, seven. But he got six baby moms. Six? Okay. Oh, he doubled up. He's spinning the blocks. Well, my father has 14. He got whatever he— My father has 14. I'm one of 14. I am the oldest. Was he rich? The oldest of 14? Well, he pushed a lot of weight in Harlem for a long time. Yeah, well, my youngest sister's 10. And some of his girls, some of his wives are younger than I am. He's in the Dominican Republic. Oh, that's DR type shit.

1:40:24That makes sense. He over there? You can do all that in DR. So I am the oldest. You can do all that in DR. I am the oldest. I am the oldest of 14. Let me go over there and see him. And now he looks at me. He's like, Tahiti. What did I do? Tahiti. Tahiti. And I said, you still got that? You still, you rock it? Because I swear to God, I'll cut it off. And he like, Tahiti. Dios mío. And I'm like, yeah, now you got him. He's like, now I got to do what I got to do. Let me tell you something. What's up? This man came on this couch yesterday. Maury Povich. Ooh, I did a show before. I did a show before.

1:40:56Looking young as fuck, Tom. He got some special drugs. Is that money, honey? What? And it was 87 peptides. Yes. He on it. Oh, yeah, peptides. He on it. That's that Jewish drug. I'm ready because I think the pentameter. That Jewish drug. I've seen that. After Drew's bodybuilding drug. But Maury Povich. It's a real thing. Yes, peptides is a real thing. Yes. Peptides are peptides. I told you this. I didn't. Women are alive. Peptides are a real thing. Yes. I've been on. Fountain of youth. Yes. People in there. We have to get back to who we used to be, who we never left. We are here. It's all that, man.

1:41:28Women all peptides. What is it? They're getting a vaginal rejuvenation and stuff. All right, that, that. Now we're going. They're getting it. They're getting it. It's back. What is a peptide? You be like, wait. It's like a form of a legal, like legal steroids. It's like putting stuff in your body that you normally have. But it's legal, yes. But it's legal, yes. It doesn't have, like, a lot of the side effects. And they take your blood work to know exactly what your body's not in. Side effects is your sugar's low, your cholesterol's great, you look young, your fucking cheekbones look sharper. You'll see it.

1:41:59You'll see that this shit. It's the opposite of Ozimba, because Ozimba makes your head look weird. I did it. I did actually. I did my first round back in 2020. This is perfect segment for Pete. 2020. I did that back then. How much it costs? When did that? We going to look you up, bro. Don't worry, I got you. You got the hookup. I really got you. You think Corey Povich is on? Yeah. I bet my life he's on. Because you need it at some point. Your body starts to like. Kardashian. Anybody that look too good to be true. Nose wasn't on peptides. It's real, though. Yo, let me tell you something. That's peptides and big vapor rub at the same time.

1:42:34I got to ask you off camera about that. Yo, I love the fix, too. Y 'all, okay. I sleep on Vicks every night, too. I'm like a vieja. Because y 'all don't age. I'm like a whole vieja. You sleep on Vicks? I've done of y 'all. What does Vicks? Well, my mom, too, like, when I was a baby, she would rub it on me and, like, put me in a... So then as a kid, like, even all my exes have Vicks in their pocket. Like, I sleep with Vicks. I'm like a sexy vieja. You made all your exes... Because they smell it on me at night. So after a while, they'd be like, yo, you smell it. And then they have Vicks on them.

1:43:00Vicks smell nasty, man. Come on, now. It smells like peppermint, eucalyptus. I was at the Knick game the other day. Josh Hart walked by me and that nigga smelled like Vicks. I said, oh man, we're going to have a bad game. I love that he's mad now. Fuck, he's smelling like Vicks now. He is mad. I love that. Huh? Right. It's for the breathing. Yeah. Yeah, you got to put on the Vicks. Got it. You know, Colombians are putting it under your feet. And you put it on your socks on. You put your socks on. Yo, Dominicans do it. You got a toothache, put it on your tooth. You got an ingrown, put it on your ingrown.

1:43:30It's like Windex. If you have a headache, put it on your head. That's that touching. You're a miracle, Grace. That's that touching. Thank you to Harry for the voice of reason. It's fine. The female-ality. If he gets another question. We need a woman to answer some of these. We do. We do. I got my brother Tone Sunshine in the building. It happens to be his birthday. Come on, Tone. Come on, man. Tone. I'm backing like that, man. Come on, man. That's my boy right here. Everybody dress sharp. Everybody got to be sharp. Come on, man. I love this jacket, man. That's that 112 times wear. That's that 112 times wear.

1:44:07I was talking about the best. That's fire, man. So you can starve a lot one time. Yo. Happy birthday, brother. Thank you, my brother. Happy birthday, man. Thank you. Come on, man. Thank you, brother. Thank you, brother. Oh, man, I heard you did Jim Jones show. That's going to be too much, huh? I've seen it. I can't say it. I'm scared of that one. It was dope. It was pretty dope. I kept it clean. We kept it classy. And them joint. Who's them guys you did that shit? That was a great interview. I learned stuff about. I'm with them all every day. And I learned stuff about you in that interview. They great guys.

1:44:45What's their podcast? Danzer. Danzer. Man, great interview on you. Yeah, I've done it too, but. Great guys. They do some great interviews, yeah. I'm tired of hearing everything I say. I say the same shit. But you were saying new shit that I never heard from you. And I was just like, wow, I didn't even know that with y 'all. But it was a great interview. They asked the right questions. Yeah. Because, you know, sometimes you do interviews and people ask the same repetitious questions. And it's like. When did you meet Big Pun? Those questions. If you don't know me, if you don't know that about me by now.

1:45:19Right. Yeah. But you kind of forced to answer that question because you don't want to be a. You don't want to be an asshole. You don't want to be an asshole. It makes you feel some kind of way about them. Absolutely. Like, you didn't do your research before you got me up here? You know what I do is I don't even answer the question. I answer whatever I want. Motherfucker be like, yo, what's up with the stock market? You know when I'm in the Bronx Southern, I don't give a fuck. I don't want to go in that bitch. You know what? I'm going to start doing that. You got years of knowing how to fucking switch the whole shit.

1:45:50I did an interview. I don't care. I'm going to answer what I'm going to answer because I know what's going to make the interview interesting. Now, if you want me to, you want to come at me with some boring shit. I'm going to definitely utilize that. No, but you did great. That's what I'm trying to tell you. Yeah, but next time I don't want to answer a certain question, I'm going to just shift it on them. Shift the change. I'm going to shift it on them. Yeah, some stupid shit. So the Yankees. Yeah. How about these shades? Yeah. Three car monty on them. You seen these Louys before? You know, the thing with Tone Sunshine, that's why I know his interview with Jim Jones.

1:46:22They come up around the same time. it's going to be too legendary because Tony was actually R &B singer but the most dangerous guy in Terror Squad quite as Cap. This guy it's not a game with him and let me tell you something I used to always say yo if Tony get too much money he going to jail. He's like Punt. He going to jail. This guy he going to send dudes to he'll send motherfuckers to steal the Roc Nation flag off the fucking roof. Thank God. Big God is crazy. Thank God for growth and change. Tone is fucking loco for the cake, man. Yo, what about why? Growing pains, you know? Why do comedy shows sell out so much?

1:47:04I wouldn't say that it's comedy shows, right? So when you see them going out, they're mostly doing lower bowl shows. Most of the comedy shows, they drape it off. You know what? They put it behind you, and you just think it's packed because it's draped. But what I've done is like, I never, I'm not a promoter. I'm just a comedian. And when I started doing rooms, people started like, hey, you can't perform here. So just like y 'all, I was like, I'm going to go. I'm going to go to Applebee's and be like, you know what? Can I do comedy here? So when I started doing arenas, everybody on my own was like, hey, Rip, can I get in?

1:47:30Can I do it? And that's how the April Fool's came. And it was like, hey, Rip, I want to be on it. So then I was like, all right, cool. I'm going to grab all these people that go from comedy clubs that normally just do comedy clubs on the weekend. I'm going to grab my rapper friends and I'm going to put us together. And we're going to do 17 ,000, 18 ,000. And we've had some of the biggest moments in comedy, in hip hop. like when Rich Homie Kwan died in Atlanta that was my show that we did the huge more in front of 20 ,000 people. We did Wild Nights at the Madison Square Garden. That was my show as well when we did the thing where Rick Ross got to do BMF and perform it with Big Meach.

1:48:03Terry was out when he first came home. That reunited I was the first person to put Brandy on before they did the Brandy Monica tour because Brandy was like hey I haven't performed in like 10 years. I really wanted to do this and like Jada and come on We've been rocking together forever. This is the only person I know I call and be like, man, I got a show this weekend. And to turn it up. And to see y 'all legends perform in front of 17 ,000 behind the stage, past the 220 line, that was fire to me. And that's what I do it for. It's never been about no type of money. It's never been about nothing like that, but just us coming together to show the machine what we can do when we collect it.

1:48:37Because ain't no Live Nation behind us. Ain't no AEG behind us. Ain't no promoters behind us. This is just me and my daughter doing this 90 % of the time. Nice. Like giving out the flyers, pushing everything, going to the schools, making activations and making these connections and then bringing my friends on. That's fire. You know what's crazy is that's that's great, man. I love an entrepreneur story. Don't go to a comedy show if you're not ready to laugh. Absolutely. Yo, bro, I am a serial laugher. If you're funny, I'm on the floor. I'm the guy. I went to see Eddie Murphy Raw with 100 guys for my project, and I'm the asshole, the only one from the projects.

1:49:18They threw out the movie, dear. Like, yo, my man. You, my man, got the guy. You got to go. You got to. They threw me out the whole shit because I'm laughing. I'm diving on the floor. I can't take it. If you're funny, I'm laughing. I don't care. I got to. I hate going to comedy shows where motherfuckers are extra stiff and if you got your girl with you you knew she would you and listen any human being that goes to a live comedy show they should have a sign you are subject to jokes you your girl and your whole life don't sit in the front if you can't take it I come off stage so you see me I walk through the audience You see me walking through the whole thing, snapping people back and forth.

1:50:06I go to comedy shows and I can't wait for them to pick on me. I'm like.

1:51:18Hey, everyone. It's Cal Penn. I'm the host of Ear Say, the Audible and iHeart Audiobook Club. This week on the podcast, I am sitting down with Ray Porter, the narrator of Andy Weir's audiobook Project Hail Mary, massive sci-fi adventure about survival and science and what happens when you wake up alone very far from Earth.

1:52:01But there's places in this book that deeply emotionally affected me, and I left it on the mic. That's great. Because it served the story. People will say like, oh my God, I cried at the end. It's like, yeah, dude, me too. Listen to Earsay, the Audible and iHeart Audiobook Club on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcasts.

1:52:52Let's talk about modern home shopping. It's sort of become a fun side hobby, right? Scrolling listings at night, dreaming about kitchens you've never seen, or backyards you haven't even stepped foot in, all from the comfort of pretty much anywhere. Redfin knows a lot of people like you want to own, but are stuck in this browsing mode loop. That's where Redfin flips the script. With listings that update within minutes, and tours you can book right from the Redfin app, you can see your dream home the moment it appears. Now, liking a listing is easy. But actually landing it, that's where Redfin comes in.

1:53:27Redfin has over 2 ,200 agents with local expertise. And Redfin agents close twice as many deals as other agents. That means they want to help you win, not just window shop. Redfin is built to help you go from just looking to wait. This could actually be home. So become the newest neighbor on the block. Visit Redfin.com to start finding and start owning. That's Redfin.com. Yeah, I'm a good lad. You know, Big Pun was extra funny, man. And it was deceiving because he's such a fat, big guy that you would think, oh, this is the easy pickings. And that motherfucker going crazy with it. He had jokes.

1:54:11What was dangerous about Pun is he'll get jokes on himself out the way first. And then kill you. Get all the ammunition. Strip you from all your ammunition. And then kill you. Fire. Nah, prom was hilarious. Prom was dangerous like that. But y 'all do that in New York. I think that when people do like the Barclays Center, like a lot of people have had horrible sets at the Barclays Center show because it's integrated with music and that's a really tough crowd. Like, you know, like when T.I. tried to do the comedy thing, that was, you know, and that was just because he was new. He didn't work at the Barclays?

1:54:41Nah, but he had just started. And T.I. my man, so I was like, all right. I thought he was funny. I seen T.I. T.I. is a beast, but that Brooklyn crowd. I seen T.I. do a show and it was funny. T.I. is a beast. Super funny, but arena funny. Comedy club funny. That's another thing. Let me tell you something. Something different. Oh, wow. So when you're in a comedy club, we can talk. It's stories. It's us. We just, we exchanging stuff. When you're in an arena, 17 ,000, you got to make that person laugh up there. You got to, you can't really have a connection up there. You got to do something that's big.

1:55:10The jokes have to be bigger. The punchlines have to be quicker. You know what I mean? They've been telling me for life, yo, Joe, you could do stand-up comedy. They've been telling me for life. You're a funny motherfucker. And I be thinking like, I'm just a naturally funny if we hanging out telling jokes or whatever but to get on stage and try to be a comedian I probably strike out it's a different type of focus you gotta have there and I know exactly what you're saying that's how I make my music so every time I make my music when I'm writing a song that I want to be a hit I'm thinking of the person in the club how they react and how they dance into it That's how I write my music.

1:55:52Or even speeches. You know, when I was doing big speeches with Market America, I got to know who's in the audience, and I got to know what type of message and inspiration they need to hear to help them out. And that's the same thing. Comedy, I ain't got... That's the same thing. You saying the same exact thing. So, like, even that show we just did at the Barclay Center, and y 'all crushed it. We got hits. That's different. It was ridiculous. But if you notice, it's mixed cultures. so that show got some of everybody in it got it got people that are just instagram fans it got people that are fans a while now they got fans of your fans they got older fans we got young fans it's got a mixture of everybody so for us to all do well in that space is that's what i cultivated to do because i had a heart attack right and i'm just now i'm still on a heart transplant list real heart attack yeah real heart attack at state farm arena and that's when i had to cancel my show at the apollo when i take my special and i'm still on a heart transplant list so some days are good but some days are bad.

1:56:48Like, you know, in my male score, moving up. So that's why that show was so special because I didn't think I was going to do another show. I thought that was it. When I was in it, when you were in the hospital and, you know, you think it's going to be something simple. You think it's going to be like, you know what, they're just going to give me a, they're going to give me a stint and I'm good. No, when they did that left heart, that left heart calf and they did that and when they went in there, it stopped. And everything went dark and it was just like, they stopped working on me immediately, went to CCU and they was like, you need a heart immediately.

1:57:16And when the doctors start giving you stop prescriptions, they start giving you scriptures and it changes your whole outlook. So that's why this last show was so important to me because I never thought I'd be back on stage. And, you know, who knows what show it is. And it's just been a blessing for y 'all to come out to even be here on part of y 'all 100th episode. This is a blessing. You want to know what's crazy? I thought about Fat Bear Scoop the other day. Oh, that was my guy. He died on stage doing what he loved to do. I don't know if that's what Is that what we want or not? For me, yes I'm asking for me, yes I don't want to die on stage Personally Because you know I'm going to die in the ring I don't want to die at all You already cocky You're on the fucking machines And all that Yo man, I'm so embarrassing I could never do a pull up In my life Oh.

1:58:14If you just listen to me for one week or two. You think you can. I got you. Oh, yeah. He be doing the bartender thing, swinging around. It's different. He giant. Desired him. He can't wait that show. Train Joe, right? He keeps telling me. He's selling me today. He was like, yo, I can get you. I can get you to do it. I'm going to work out with him. We could get him to do it. I know you can do it. We could get him to do it. No, I might cry if I do one pull-up. No, I don't think so. Oh, yeah, yeah. No, because I used to be like 360. No, no, no. I can't do a pull-up. You can't. Then two. Then you're going to be straight.

1:58:43Then you're going to turn to a monster. Yo, my brother is insane. You can do it. He could do more than one or two. I know he can. He can bust out 20. Easy. He just don't. There he go. There he go. There he go. There he go. Yo, what's up with the pull-ups? You know how you get him to do one. You know you get a pull-up. You think you can get me to do a pull-up? Tell him. You can absolutely get him to do 10. Come over. Come inside. Come inside. Nah, he attacked me today. Out of all days, he said, Joe, I really want to train you. I know I can get you to do a pull-up. And I'm telling him, even when I was in jail, right, I went in there and the whole time, I didn't look at jail like jail.

1:59:25I only had four months. I said, I'm going in there to train and work out. I swear to God, that was, if you want to talk to Fat Joe, talk to him on the dance floor, the man working out. And I worked out three times a day. Now, everybody else, I watched an Asian man was doing push-ups with his fingers, like his fingertips. They had another older Caribbean fingertips. Fingertips. They had a guy, yo, listen, let me tell you something. They had an old dude that he didn't have a six-pack. The motherfucker had a 12-pack. He looked like a ninja turtle. He worked out every day. He ain't talked to nobody.

2:00:03All he did was work out dreadlocks. So I'm in there, Fat Joe, working out three times a day. When I was going home, all the diesel niggas that was doing all type of shit, they said, yo, crack. And they was doing the real shit, but they were like, salute. We saw you in here every day three times. Like, you got busy. Like, respect. No, you ain't cocked DJ. No, you can't do a pull-up. No, you ain't six-packed up. But we seen you getting busy. Absolutely. Now, at that time, I would say I was at the best shape of my life. I couldn't. They used to be like, crack, come on. You got one crack. I ain't have one full of...

2:00:46Niggas just trying to push me up. How? How are you in there with Tookie Williams, Bruce Lee... I'm going to do it with you. I gave up on trying to... You ain't got to give up, man. It's meant to. You think I can still do it? I'll give you my word, bro. All right. All right. Because I gave up on that fact. You know, my gym in my house look like a closet now. A bunch of coats. He's not lying. I got the dust on my shit. He's not lying. I gave up on this shit. His gym don't look like the closet. His gym is the closet. Least sleep most sets. From the club street to the bar. I'm giving you my word, Joe.

2:01:19All right, I got it. It ain't stop a lot. That's your guy right there. Bartending. Come on, man. You're the fountain of youth over there. Thank you, man. You know what he just said? It's the fountain of youth. And this is why I get kids to do what he doesn't. I don't make him show up. He wants to show up, Joe. That's a different sense of peace and tranquility, brother. So I'm looking forward to sharing that. Joe, I'll go with you. You go with me? I'll go with you. Got one right now. That's beautiful. I will go with you. We will do pull-ups. All right. No, no, no. I ain't never scared. It's beautiful.

2:01:47This has been years since I really locked in like that. I used to lock in, but I ain't locked in like that in a while. So it's scared. It's almost like you driving a tricycle and now you got to get on a bike. I'm like, damn, they want me to go because I know me. I've been a diabetic my whole life. I got this machine now. It tells me if your sugar's hot. My shit is never hot. I was scared to get the machine because I knew no more fun, Joe. I'm too disciplined. I'm not letting this shit ring off. My shit is perfect right now. I can show you off my phone. You talking about the Dexcom? I'm too disciplined.

2:02:23Yo, Pistol dog in the yard. You might as well come sit on the couch. Yo, Pistol. Come over here. Hold up. I've been on his back, though. I see you, Pistol. You ain't been on your back? Now with the flow prison walk. Okay, you just figured out. The flow little jail walk? You know the jail walk, man. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. The jail walk. Yeah, kid. Aye. Yo, Pistol B, man, I tell him all the time. See, I go back to 88 and all that with Pistol. So Pistol was always, like, beyond Brock. Like, he was one of them guys in the neighborhood that you knew. He was beyond cock diesel. He walked through the strip like this.

2:03:03Whenever I see him chubby, I say, yo, you know why? Come here, Pistol. Come over, I see your Pistol. You don't know him like that. No, that's not Pistole P. It's like Bobby Brown. We go to the show. He don't dance and he sit on the shit. I can't do that. Like, yo, Bobby Brown, we looking for, you know, fucking, don't be cruel. He sit on the stool and don't dance. With a shiny jacket now. I feel like I got robbed at the show. Come on, Pistole P ain't supposed to be with a belly like that. Now he start FaceTiming me every day on the treadmill. I want to hear this. Yo, you next, bro. You're going to be here now.

2:03:40FaceTime in a minute, no? I don't know what to tell you. I worked out my whole life. I never got a muscle. Pistol, what was it like in the yard? Shout out to Pistol Got the Dog in the Yard podcast. What was it like in the yard pumping weight with the biggies in the yard? You go in the yard, what's that like? They all up in there like... You already know, as soon as a motherfucker come in from a different jail, they call me and be like, yo, Guerrilla Black just got hit from Attica. He lifts up the whole gym, Pistol. They'll come back and tell me about it. Like, yeah, everybody meeting up, 6 o 'clock.

2:04:14Y 'all call. Come up in the gym. I'll be like, man, we ain't talking, man. Just put four on there real quick. We ain't talking about it. Let's go. Where we at, man? 20 reps. 315, like 25 reps, 30 reps. Legs up and all that. Yeah, you know that. You ain't never seen his pictures in the gym. Listen, man, to this day, I know the strongest guys that's in the penitentiary right now. My nigga BG. My little man, Millie Mel. They're the strongest guys in the whole state. You know what I'm saying? So I know this workout shit, man. That's what I do. So when Joe keep telling me, yo, you playing around, coming around, old chubby and all that, he's like, yo, what's wrong with you, man?

2:04:51Are you bugging out? So he got me focused. I was like, you know what? I got this. Jim Jones pulled up on me too one day. He was like, yo, you know, I know you from being, you know, God, it's easy. God, it's easy. What the fuck you doing? I was like, you got it. You got it. I was like, that's easy. Let's go. One slight problem I'm going to say right now. The old niggas, they got to stop trying. Rich player got to stop trying to lift up the gym. Once you're old, you got to figure out a new routine. Because all my guys of our age that's going to the gym, they all got back problems, shoulder problems, because they trying to lift up the whole gym.

2:05:26Nah, dude, we're not with none of that. You're not doing that? I'm not lifting. No injuries. I ain't got no back problems. Oh, we got a surprise? Y 'all got to say body to gas. I'm back y 'all, man. Pistol Pete. Dog in the Yard. I want to interview you on Dog in the Yard. Don't sunshine. Baby. Don't sunshine. Love you, brother. I love you for life. Thank you, sir. Let me see what you did. You got to show the camera, man. That's right. Oh, no, this shit. Come over here. Sit this way and turn it that way. I can't take it because DJ Serge is stealing. His house looked like the man in the building. You got a whole shrine of everything.
