16:54In order to go to Callie's house, like if you was a barber or something, he had motherfuckers in hazmat suits, like real fucking suits. And then he caught, he finally caught COVID and he made everybody take a test to see who gave it to him. I didn't give it to him. So I'm out there praying for him, like, yo, Cal, get better. He up there, he got the doctors in the crib. Let me tell you something, that motherfucker rich, rich, rich, I'm still in the struggle guys It don't look like it Trust me I'm still in this You heard what happened to me the other day with the coach shit So I believe in God big time I fear God I love God If it ain't for God Other day Jay-Z had this big He did a launch of his documentary Which is insane I loved it but I had to get there.

17:57And so we in St. Louis and I get on a plane and the motherfucker about to take off and the dude come back. Yo, the light came on, this, that. We did that shit like three times. So I tell my people, yo, get me on any other flight. So now every day I pray, I don't know about y 'all, but I pray to go on first class. No, I don't want to be coach. I don't want to be coach. I'm humble. I'm humble. We take care of the love. We take care of everybody, our community. I don't want... One time in my life, I flew coach. I sat next to the Beverly Hillbillies. And motherfuckers was climbing over my shoulders, little kids, throwing potato chips.

18:43Now, fuck that. I don't want that shit. So she tells me, she says, Joe, there's two coach tickets here to get you in right on time. So, of course, I got to take the tickets. And I'm walking. I get on the plane. I'm about to fly coach. And I see Busta Rhymes on first class. Now, ladies, me going on coach is like doing the walk of shame, like when you was fucking all night and then you got the same clothes on in the morning walking out the hotel.

19:22Joe Crack getting on coach. His shit, the straight walk of shame. Walk up, I see Buster Rons. He's like, yo, peace, gang. Peace, yo, Buster. Yo, Buster. Yo, Buster. I keep walking. I'm about to go to the coach. His DJ gets up, scratch it to him. He said, Joe Crack, what's up? I said, yo, long story, the plane, four-turns. He was like, yo, you can't go back there, Don. You got to sit here. I said, what? He said, yo, you got to take my seat. You can't be coached. I ain't argue with the motherfucker. I took the seat. But God is incredible. He'll show you right quick. No, he take it away. He'll give it right back.

20:12Yeah. Stay faithful. That's a good one. One of your best stories, you know what it is? What? The 1 % one. With Mom Dukes? That joint always almost makes me cry. I was thinking about it coming over here. I said, yo, my man got a lot of stories, but he got one real sad. He got one happy, sad one. You want that one? Don't even do that one. Because you're going to make everybody cry. We trying to have a good time tonight, boy. You know what I'm saying? But you got one that really touches my heart. You want me to give you a better one? No doubt. You ever heard my story about the invisible train? Yeah.

21:02Y 'all don't know about the invisible train? You serious? The invisible train is success. I think everybody, no matter what you do, you could be a beautician, you could be whatever, everybody at one point in their life, an invisible train comes in front of you. And it looks risky. People are like, yo, you bugging out. Don't take that chance. You're all right. But when you get on that invisible train and you believe, that motherfucker rocket you to another level. You got to take the chance. You got to have courage. So I'll tell you real quick. So I'm signed to a record label. it's me relativity records it's me common beat nuts chi ali so i'm thinking like we all part one team one dream but they shooting my videos for like five thousand dollars they ain't spending no money on me so i'm thinking we broke one day the owner running he got a video he's like yo vcr he's like yo let me show you this video he put it in motherfuckers is floating in the air they on fire i'm like yo what the fuck is this he said it's bone thugs in harmony i said yo that video looked like it cost a million dollars he said it did cost a million dollars so i'm over here five thousand dollar videos i'm like oh shit this this guy's they don't believe in us because they ain't you got to spend money to make money so i tell everybody i say yo we got to get the fuck out of here they don't believe in us everybody was like yo joe but you got a gold chain you got a lexus i said yo fuck that like we got to get to the bag bag so everybody thought i was crazy because at least you know i was iced out had the little apartment and little Lexus, I jump on the train.

23:03Less than a year later, I signed Big Pun. We up 10 million. And so the invisible train of success, it come in your life, it looks scary, but you got to believe in yourself and take that risk. Otherwise, it's 9 to 5.

23:28That was very inspirational, crack. Come on now. Let's keep it 1800. Who you ever did a song with in hip hop that you heard them rap and you said, oh shit, I got to bring my A-game? Jay-Z. What song was that? Reservoir Dog. Reservoir. I heard that shit today. Oh, shit. Biggie. Biggie, which one? Last Days. The Last Days. He told you to change some shit, right? Yeah, I changed. Biggie was the... Yo, ain't nothing like Biggie Smalls, man. You love Biggie Smalls, make some motherfucking noise, man.

24:26He was just different. Very different. So Big E, Jay-Z? DMX. DMX. The dog. They love the dog in Baltimore. Huh? They love the dog in Baltimore.

24:49He was out here. The dog was out here in Baltimore? He was out here. Was he robbing niggas with the dogs or what? Nah, he was out here. That's probably where he learned how to do it out here. He probably learned how to rob niggas with the dogs from out here. He went up top and so on. The man, one time I had a show with DMX in Brooklyn. It was some shit like this. And we went to the gas station. Me, pun, rest in peace, and DMX. He was like, yo, hold up, y 'all. and he went and stuck a nigga up in the gas station. Came back and talked to us like the guy wouldn't call a cots or nothing. I'm like, yo, you just robbed a nigga?

25:32He was like, nah, son, you know. Old habits, this, this, that. I'm like, yo, I say, yo. No IG, niggas was crazy. No Instagram, no social media. The shit people was doing out here. His shit was crazy outside Seriously This shit is beautiful, man This nigga high

26:42You gotta do the whole show, whatever's going on, because you got a lot of stories. They know that. They watch the show. You like to talk. Yo, I love to talk, man. I love that shit. You got to understand, I'm ready for anything. Anything? Anything. I grew up in the projects. So if you want to know where I get the shit talking from, I grew up in the projects, 1 ,500 people in one building. We talk shit every day to six in the morning about everything. We just, your mother's a fat bitch. Your father's a fucking Jabba Joy. Your mother's a bum. Bitch is a crackhead. Like, we just going. For hours every day to my mother get in the window, I'll be like, Joey!

27:41The city's over. 459 or some shit. I got to go up. And so anybody who grew up with me know I love to talk shit. But look, we getting paid to talk shit. You ever thought we would get paid to talk shit? This is the illest shit ever. Very beautiful. I need y 'all to make some noise for me being able to put up with him talking this shit.

28:12It's not an easy job. even though we get paid for it. Yo, dog, top five dead or alive. Ha-ha!

28:26You know what I've learned? The things that really matter, you can't rush them. Facts. You can't rush the sauce. You can't rush the music. You can't rush relationships. And you definitely can't rush great tequila. That's why 1800 Tequila stands out. The name goes all the way back to the 1800s when the Beckman family started making tequila. And that patience, that attention to the craft has been passed down through more than 11 generations. That's legacy. Sometimes you just got to let something cook. Juan Beckman Vidal aged 1800 and they all longer than he even had to because he knew it wasn't ready yet.

29:07I respect that. Don't put it out just because you can put it out. Put it out when it's right. That applies to a record, a conversation, a mood, a making, and clearly a bottle of tequila. Once you get it right, you share it with your people. That's always been part of the story. Good tequila, good conversation, and the people around you really appreciate both. Passion, hard work, honesty. Those words are written on every bottle of 1 ,800. And honestly, that's the foundation for anything built to last. So take your time with what you're creating, and when the moment is right, share it with your people.

29:441 ,800 tequila. Good stuff takes time. And the best stuff's meant to be shared with your people. From GEICO Subconscious News, I'm Tammy Racing Thoughts. Tonight, you just left for work and had a nonspecific feeling that something was happening to your place and it wasn't good. Dan? Exactly, Tammy. It could be smoke damage, theft, or just too much caffeine, but you can't stop thinking about it. But with renter's insurance through GEICO, your stuff is covered, so you don't have to worry. And that's great, because the weekend is coming up, and it's chock full of social obligations that are ready to fill that void.

30:16Oh boy, will they, Dad? It feels good to worry less. It feels good to GEICO. Didn't catch the latest Roland Martin Unfiltered podcast? Here's what you missed. And the argument is, do you want to win? If you don't win, you have no power. It's real. Those are the very people who I always say vote against their own economic interests and they complain about the very thing they're receiving. It's raw. I knew that the issue of transgender athletes was not going well with a lot of black men. Roland Martin unfiltered. I went off. I said, this is exactly what I'm talking about. Y 'all gonna scream at Chanel, but you don't want to see a black luxury company in the same vein.

You want to bring these people out? Listen, guys, I don't really do politics like this no more. but uh we gonna fuck with some politicians right now hold on hold on let me do my let me do my you got your glasses I don't need it man be quiet listen when you think of today's guest you think of city hall in the state house you think of two different desks same mission keep Baltimore standing upright.

32:05One of these guys is running the city block by block. The other one's running the whole state. But tonight, they both in the building on our turf. No podium, no teleprompter, just real talk. We're live in Baltimore. It's only right we bring out the two men actually steering the ship. You already know the resume. Crime numbers is down. Budgets is signed. Shit look clean as fuck out here. A whole city trying to turn the corner. But we ain't here for the press release version. We here for the real one. So put your hands together. From City Hall. The mayor of Baltimore, Brandon Scott, and the statehouse, the governor of Maryland, Westmore.

33:03Let's get it!

33:09What's up, Chris?

33:22My boy got all the muscles, huh? I ain't know you was cocked diesel like that, man. Motherfucker came through, bro.

33:34Damn, Joe. Political pause. It's like three seconds, bro. He did the first political pause in history. A political one. Ooh. I just want to know, Joe. How early in the show did that flag get thrown? You just threw it in one second. It was one on the ground already, bro. God damn. You know what I mean? Hold on. Before we even get in, how do y 'all feel? Baltimore people, how do y 'all feel? I think this is some really cool shit. It's beautiful. Y 'all got it. It's beautiful. It's family. Did y 'all make history being the youngest governor and mayor? Was there ever any younger than y 'all? Yeah.

34:21Well, you know what's real? and I'll tell you this. There is nowhere in the country where this is taking place. Facts. Nowhere in the country is this taking place. It only exists. Make some noise for this, y 'all. Because this is historic. This is historic. This is historic. You know, Fat Joe, all about food. We're the clam chowder and shit like that. Crab. Everywhere. Crabs. It's crabs. We got you. You're going to Baltimore. You better believe I'm going to be at the crab spot or something. We got you. I got to eat something. We got to obey for you, crack. You good. So my brother, man, they trying to push you for president.

34:54Oh, Lord. That would be you. No, you can't finagle. Yo, y 'all want the joint. Yo, y 'all don't want the... I go in the back, man. I thought y 'all was... Where the flags at? What's going on? I know you can't actually tell us, but I know what they've been telling me behind my back all around this country. Like, they asking for you to go for president. Nah, man. Nah, like, real talk.

35:22I got you. Crack. Can't ask him that? You can ask him. I didn't get that in the brochure. We're not ready to share our governor with the rest of the country yet. We're going to re-elect him in November, and then we're going to go from there. Nice. We're not ready for that yet. Nice. To be honest, the country might not deserve that yet. You have to pardon me. I'm going to be honest with you. I will bet you a crab dinner in Baltimore that this man runs for president in a couple of years. He's going for president. I promise you that. Don't do that to me. When we look out here and we see Baltimore, and we see Baltimore moving the way that it's moving, and we see the partnership that I have with my man Brandon Scott, who's doing an amazing job here in Baltimore.

36:16I'm just like, listen, what's happening right now in many ways is a dream to us. Because for a person like Brandon, who came up in Park Heights, one five, you know, for a person, for a person like myself, who I moved around a lot when I was a kid because of trauma. And when I finally came here, I finally found a place I could call home. And Baltimore is always and will forever be the place when people say, what's your hometown? I will always say Baltimore, Maryland. And I think about the kind of stuff that's happening right now and the momentum we have right now. Like this is the thing that we've been dreaming about for years, lifetimes.

37:06And so the idea right now that we can have the Baltimore Renaissance that for so many of us we hope for for so long, where you have a whole city that's standing up and you have a whole state that is willing to stand up with them, we're not going to lose this moment because this time right now, this is like what the people who came before us, this is what they fought for. And so right now, this is the realization of the ancestors' wildest dreams. And we're not going to let that go. You know, I tried to call Baltimore home in the 80s. Police threw me up against the wall about 100 times. No Puerto Ricans in Baltimore.

37:44Come on, Craig. Get your ass back up there, Peter Pan. We're a welcoming city. You can wear your Tims, your Yankees hat. You can come on down. Everybody does that. When they come to Morgan like his daughter, a lot of them don't leave. The Obey get in your soul and you can't leave this place because it's so damn special. That's why the dog was here all the time. I remember being a kid, Kiss, and been driving down Emerson Avenue and be like, yo, that was fucking DMX on that four-wheeler just now. Like, that's real. Yo, the town looked beautiful. I only been here today. It looks so much better than it did back in the day.

38:21Absolutely. Absolutely. You can keep it. Look, I lived here in my own life. No, I've seen it. I like to touch the town. Yeah. I went by the bread factory over there. Yeah, H &S. That motherfucker smell good as hell, boy. That bread factory back there at Kings. I snuck in there and got me a loaf of bread. That's how you know the town is right. I'm going to tell you something, though. You've been eating that bread your whole life. If you ate McDonald's, that's where the bread came from. That's what you've been eating. That's exactly right. That's what you've been eating your whole life. See that?

38:55The bread come from Baltimore. I told y 'all. Wow. That was good bread. You learn something new every day, bro. Your whole life. School's always open. I saw you at the Democratic Convention. Yeah. Hell of a speech. Thank you. What was that like speaking to the whole country representing Baltimore? And pretty much, I think that's where they realized you was a big dog in the game. Yeah. What was that like? Well, it was amazing because it was good putting Baltimore and Maryland, making sure that Baltimore and Maryland was getting the kind of shine that it got during that moment. And I remember during that speech, I talked about Baltimore.

39:41In that speech, I talked about the progress and the momentum we're seeing in Baltimore. In that speech, I talked about what happened with the Tragic Key Bridge collapse and how we lost six people during that tragedy. but the thing that I was so thankful for was how the state mobilized and how working together how when they told us it was going to take 11 months to clear that channel we got that thing cleared in 11 weeks and we were really able to really show what is Christ's response look like in a really powerful and beautiful way and so I was uh I was I was really humbled I still wish Kamala Harris won the presidency but I was really humbled to be out there you know representing Let's talk hip-hop and music.

40:24Thank God. When y 'all getting ready. This is for both of y 'all. You know Joe crack. It's a question for both of y 'all. When y 'all, when you're working out, when you're getting ready for a serious meeting or you got to go do some serious campaigning or whatever, what's your go-to music when you got to get busy? It's really easy for me. I'm going Purple Tape. I'm going Illmatic. I'm going 36 Chambers. I'm going Outkast, Equimini. That's where I'm going. You're going crazy. That's where I'm going. Everybody know. Look, whenever Quick is bringing me out for something, I know he, I don't have to tell him.

41:11He going to drop a whoop beat. He know I'm coming out every single time. That's my man. That's my brother. That's where I'm going. I guess and to be honest kiss I don't listen to talk radio I don't listen to political radio if you get in my car you gonna get a lot of hip-hop you gonna get y 'all you can get well you can get real hip-hop not the mumble shit the real hip-hop how about you that's good I'm going I'm going I'm going blueprint I'm going up I'm going blueprint I'm going I'm going a whole lot of Wu-Tang But I tell you what, my go-to song when I'm like, I really want to get hype, it's easy.

41:52It's what we do. Jay-Z, Beanie, Freeway, it's what we do. That is my go-to song any time I'm trying to get hype. Even though what we do is wrong. Yeah. When the junk come up. I done went to home now. It's a cold winter. Y 'all better bundle up and I'll rock a motherfucker. You rocked your dad. Get hot now. Listen up. How don't you know cops sold persons just to lock us down? They throw away the key. Come on, everybody. Ain't got no way to eat, huh? Yeah. See what I'm saying? There's no other governor in the world I can do that. No. But I ain't gonna lie, but real talk, you was my first concert.

42:35My first real concert was a No Way Out tour. Oh, wow. And now is that tour with Puff and Kim. Pause. And who's on it? Seas and the Lox. That was my first concert. First concert with you. So my first concert, and my cousin is here. I know she out there somewhere. I was 10, and my cousin took me to a concert, and it was the Woo. And it was a crazy-ass concert. Dirty was acting a fool, and I love her so much. So a few years ago, I had the opportunity to have her meet Meth. Meth is her husband in her head, right? But it was a big way for me to repay that because that pushed me. That's why I love hip-hop the way I listen.

43:19But if I got to listen to a song, when I'm doing campaigning, it's Ether. Because that's what I do to my opponent. Ether? Yeah. Oh, shit. Ether. You know they mention my name on it. Good one. He mention you on Ether? On what? Yeah, he said if you pop shit, you apologize. Just ask Kiss. Exactly. Ethan ends with me. He in there. The last line of the last verse. Yeah. He in there. Ask Kiss. That's none of that. Yo, Kiss, you love that shit, huh? Yo, Kiss, you a silent assassin, huh? You love that shit. Kiss got something to do with something, huh? Quietly. My favorite hip-hop song of all time is Biz Markie, The Vapors.

44:03Yes. Hey, look. Shout out to Biz. He lived out here for a long time. We love Biz. Biz love Baltimore. We love him. He lived out here for a long time. But the Vapers, because I grew up so poor. I grew up so poor. You know, I was the leader of the free lunch bunch. You know, summertime, free lunch. I had a theme song, free lunch, free lunch. What about wintertime? The free lunch, free lunch. I just want to ask you a question. The free lunch, free lunch. Did you rob the whole lunchroom, too? The free lunch. Huh? Did you rob the whole lunchroom to him or just the gym?

44:45No comment. No comment. You guys too political. No comment out here. But I like you a little bit more, man. You really know hip hop. I like you a little bit more. JoeandJayTheShow.com. We got new merch fresh off the presses. Go get it. Bang. Out of bang. Boom. Joe and Jadon Show dot com. You can get these little cold for a t-shirt with a hoodie. It's my favorite right there. I need an extra large. Joe and Jadon Show dot com. Go there and get it.

45:25I got questions for y 'all. Hip hop questions. I think I know. I think I heard this. but if y 'all picking the five best hip-hop albums of all time what y 'all picking? Five best albums? Yeah, five best. And I do mine too but five best. Go ahead, Kiss. You know, this is like a fucking loaded question. He came with his answer already. You a hip-hop head you should know already we're off the top. He's putting us in the spot in front of the whole Baltimore. The whole world. That's what we do. We real. Kiss thinking. All times? All time. Question like that. This one, Kiss, is political. Come on, kid.

46:06Get Rich or Die Trying is one. All right. Go on. Go on. Dr. Dre the Chronic is one. All right. Very good one. Life After Death is one. All right. DMX is Dark and Hell is Hot. Yeah.

46:31Illmatic. Yes, sir.

46:35And that's a set-up question because it's really more than five best albums. This is true. When people say five is like a religious, you could go on, we could be here all night with everybody five in that whole audience. Yeah, the five is too much. I'm going Slick Rick, Great Adventures. I'm going Illmatic. Yeah. Are you using my... Nah, you can't use Illmatic. I used Illmatic. Well, that's my favorite album of all time. Why can't you use my favorite? Get another favorite. Put Reasonable Doubt. No, no, no, no. Well, I'll go Reasonable Doubt. Yes. I'm going Paid and Fool, Eric B and Raquel. You taking albums off the Rushmore and put...

47:26What you don't want me to do? What you want me to get the way? He want me to say some whack. Go, go, go. This guy want me to say some whack shit. No, I don't. I'm going to throw a curveball. I'm going, best of both worlds. Hey-oh.

47:51This guy's nuts. Yo, it's crazy, Lord. They don't want that type of shit. Brandon, what'd they miss? What'd they miss? So they didn't miss nothing. I'm going to run mine. I said a bunch of them already. Illmatic. Yes. Without a doubt. Yes. I can't use it. It's the greatest hip-hop album of all time. Yo, who made up the rule? You can't. Like, yeah, it's my list. This is for hip-hop's sake. Tell me I can't use my favorite album. They picked a lot of the go-ins. You the man. You can do anything you want. Illmatic. Yeah. I'm going to Purple Tape. I got to go to Purple Tape. No, nobody's arguing. You gotta go to Purple Tape.

48:29Wow. The Purple Tape. And then I always, I gotta add in Aquamanite from Outkast. It's a crazy album. No doubt. No doubt. No doubt. I'm gonna go back a little bit, though. I'm gonna do Fear of a Black Planet, P.E., Public Enemy. No, brother. I gotta do Fear of a Black Planet. And we in Baltimore. Pac spent a lot of time here. Pac went to my middle school. I always throw in me against the world. That's what I do. That was the five. Two five. Two five. That's a five. That's right. Let's get on. All those, so, I'm only gonna add on it because you named a lot of them. But I'm gonna throw on a couple who y 'all didn't name that need to be on there.

49:11One, I'm with you on life after death, but a list isn't complete without Ready To Die. All right. Ready To Die. Ready To Die was the album. That was just a straight push play album. You still gotta throw on the blueprint. And you gotta throw on the blueprint, one, blueprint two, et cetera. But the other one, and people might think this is not hip hop, but I'm telling you, this is hip hop, and it was a great hip hop album. The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Oh, yeah. That's hip hop. That's hip hop, and it was a great album. Absolutely. I love all of them. Absolutely. Not mad at any of them choices.

49:48I'm gonna say, no disrespect, Snoop Dogg, Doggy style. Nah, that's a good one. Let's go. Now you got six. We all did five. I only had four, beloved. That was my last one. I only had four. Ah! We go back to the hot. Beloved love this shit. He love this shit. We got to talk hip-hop. I talk politics all day. I didn't come up here to talk politics. He want to talk that hip-hop. Politics? Hip-hop, though. Trump just said CNN can't cover him. This is Baltimore. Let's keep it hip-hop. We don't really listen to what the fuck he say. This is Baltimore. We just ignore him. We worry about us. Look, we do what we do.

50:36Without their help, we do what we do. That's right. I agree. Freedom of speech. This shit crazy out here right now. But it's every day. It's every day for us. It's every day dealing with this. This might be new to the rest of the country, but we had to deal with this during the first Orange invasion. We had to deal with it before. And that's the thing, I think, and he brings up a good point, because like, what he's trying to do more than anything else, he's trying to steal our joy. And this man has to learn, man. Like, this is Baltimore and this is Maryland. We're built different. You're never going to steal our joy.

51:07And you can come at us all you want, but you're never going to come. We will never bend the knee. We tell these people all the time, we'll work with anybody, but we will bow to nobody. And we're never going to let you steal our joy. Ever. Not here. Power to the people. That's it. I got another one for y 'all You know I gotta put the pressure on We hear you mama We hear you I gotta put the pressure on That like the woman That was in Obama's shit Fire it up That's right Fire it up That that real shit That's right That's that real shit That's that real shit I hear you sister Ah I like That's that real shit God damn So Alright This the one This is a question that everybody don't like But the answer is real easy Jordan Braun Make it easy I realize this is my partner Jordan man Thank you kiss Jordan

52:10Cut the small talk Jordan

52:18You arguing Braun? What's the argument? Y 'all really going to kill me because I'm Jordan, then Kobe, then LeBron. All right. I'm Kobe. Nah. Uh-oh. Nah. Nah. Nah. You know I won seven championships at the Rucker as a motherfucking coach. They made a movie about me called The Blackout. I dare you to go home, look it up. It's a movie about me coaching in Harlem at the Rucker. I know a little something about basketball. What is that? He think he know everything. You don't know everything. Klay Thompson washed up. Damn. Klay Thompson's one of the best shooters you ever saw with your eyeballs. Right now he looking like Olin Polonese.

53:20Well, Klay got bigger problems, though. He fumbled the bag. He fumbled Meg. He fumbled the bag. He ain't going to never shoot right again after that. She's going to be on his mind. They're going to be whispering in his ear during the game. And shit, they're going to be on his head. Make the stallion got that Kardashian touch. She'll fuck you up. Yeah. Megan a late. I know a couple of her boyfriends. They all fucked up. didn't pan out didn't pan out it's that real shit yeah

54:00what she said I don't know

54:05dang why didn't the Knicks win go get that go get that go get what that lady said man I was trying to go without talking about cause you looking at some champions right now. Oh, God. Oh, no. Oh, no. I'm happy for you. You're looking at some champions. That's real. I'm happy for you. Congratulations. Congratulations. Congratulations. Miss, I don't know what you talk about. Congratulations. Oh, no, you're looking at some champions. Congratulations. Congratulations. Did you think Jalen Brunson a killer? He is. Brunson's a killer. Focus baller. He focused. move at his pace. He don't move to nobody else's pace.

54:45He don't let you get him off with his game. He's a real baller. He's a real baller, for sure. What the lady said? Did you get a question? Y 'all did have the whole country room for y 'all. Once you got to the finals, you really had the whole country room. No, no, no. Baltimore said they was with us. No, no, no. I'm going to be honest. Not the whole. You had two room for Spurs? I love a few things about New York. No, don't do that. A piece of hip-hop. Don't do that. Not that damn sports teams. Don't do that. One, I congratulate you. Don't shit on New York. I'm from Baltimore. I want to beat you.

55:15I don't want to help congratulate you when you win. Come on. I'm with you. Don't do that. You won't get it in football. We know that. Well, that is true. Say that. You won't get it in that. Say that. You won't get it. So you with the Capitals? The D.C.? The Ravens. Baltimore Ravens. I like the Ravens. I like the Ravens a lot. Jamar Jackson. The Ravens. No, no. I fuck with them. Yeah, yeah. Yes. We don't have a basketball team. We could kill us.

55:44our basketball team has moved to D.C. they haven't fucking won since they left by the way what you think made Baltimore more famous the Ravens or the Wire see here we go Ravens Ravens the Ravens or the Wire and Lewis Ray Lewis did Ravens Ray Lewis who y 'all think made Baltimore more famous the Ravens or the Wire Ravens hey Joe He said, hold up. This is what I mean. The Knicks win. Y 'all start jumping in pools with Timberlands on and shit. And then he say this ridiculous thing right here. Like Jackson Dart going to win the Super Bowl. I don't know what kind of fentanyl they got in New York right now, but that's insane.

56:31That's insane.

56:35Sports memorabilia guy. What do you got to say about that? The Ravens is better. They've been better for years. We're going to come up. Oh, no, no. Giants and Jets. You got our old coach. You got our old coach. Giants and Jets is trash. That's true. That's true. They got our old coach. You got our old coach and old players. No, I don't care about that. He's going to do his thing in the city. Who? I can't front all Harbaugh. Scatterboom? We love Harbaugh. Harbaugh is just a problem. Harbaugh is a good coach. But we couldn't. Listen, we got a three to five year window with Lamar. And one thing we knew is that like Harbaugh, every NFL coach would dream to have a career like John Harbaugh had.

57:19But we got a three to five year window with Lamar and we got to win now. And we couldn't win with John Harbaugh. So we had to make a move. So congratulations on going to the Giants. I wish you all the best of luck. But this is the Ravens time because let me tell you something. What we're doing right now, this offense and this defense, it's a problem for the whole NFL right now. Watch us. Watch us. Watch. I saw you with your Giants jersey and all that. You had the Giants jersey on. Don't fall back right now. I'm not falling back. I don't give a fuck about the Giants all the jokes. I'm a Knicks fan.

57:57Super fan. It's football season. Yeah, bro, super fan. You know we got a bag first day of the game. I told you yet? No. Oh, we got a bag. First game. Who you got? October 20th, when the champions. Yeah, he gets your ring. Ring game. Oh, you get a ring, crack? I don't know. I'm like him. You got a ring. You got a ring. You got a ring. I love Baltimore. I don't know. I'm going to play this thing humble. He's getting a ring. Yeah, he get what? No, I'm not getting. He had a whole float. He getting a ring. He getting a ring. Yeah. I love you, too. and I love your whole family.

58:39You can run for politics. Yo, listen, Baltimore, give it up for your mayor. Give it up for your governor.

58:49This ain't that. That ain't this. It's cracking kiss, goddammit. Baltimore makes some noise.

Fat Joe and Jadakiss take the podcast on the road for their first-ever live show in Baltimore, sitting down with Mayor Brandon Scott and Maryland Governor Wes Moore. The two rap icons chop it up with the state’s top leaders, swapping the podiums and teleprompters for real talk about the ongoing Baltimore Renaissance. The politicians quickly prove their hip-hop bona fides by sharing their go-to hype tracks before diving into a heated debate over the five greatest rap albums of all time. Also, the live crowd gets treated to classic Joe and Jada banter, including Joe's inspirational "invisible train of success" story, his hilarious memory of dodging coach class thanks to Busta Rhymes, and some intense sports trash talk involving the New York and Baltimore franchises.
