In short

1090 Skrap’s homecoming and return to music/streaming, reflecting on beating a murder case, prison life, lawyer strategy/costs, and public controversy around Nipsey mural symbolism and Pop Smoke references; plus debate over “drill” vs gangster rap.

Guests

1090 Skrap (31, from Canarsie to Flossie; rapper/“gangster” figure; brother of Sleepy Hollow; says he’s building a nonprofit). Host Rob Markman (interviewer). Other named figures referenced include Sleepy Hollow, Chef G, K-Flock, Ali, Pop Smoke (deceased), and Nipsey Hussle (mural).

Key claims

Jail is “not easy” despite perceptions; lawyers can “swap” defendants and fees can be extreme (he cites $200k+ and multiple lawyers). He says he faced 25 years in Florida for probation violation and later got a reduced concurrent sentence (10 years) after his defense challenged evidence. He claims he was arrested due to mistaken identity (a rental car and lookalike) and ultimately beat the murder case. He says he’s pushing peace and money management, not “drill” branding.

Notable examples

Shoutouts to K-Flock as a “baby bro”; Pop Smoke love from the same block; Nipsey mural blue-flag photo backlash; plans to stream/appear Friday; nonprofit “Scrap” to school kids against poverty.

We need some more shots. We gonna need some shots. I got a little bit of Don Williams from you over there. Nah, nah.

3:27Tony Yayo:It's only that month. It's a little drop in there. O.P. trying to tuck it? He trying to tuck it. He's a little drop in there. That's a mouth. Rob Markman, Yeah, we turn it around and see the facts. Rob Markman, So I feel like when I look at y 'all, y 'all bringing the city back. You know what I'm saying? Rob Markman, That's what I wanted to be. Rob Markman, And like your brother, I know your brother is a rapper, gangster, actor, but I wanted to know, are you a rapper or a manager? Because I see you fuck with Sleepy, Chef, Rest In Peace Pop Smoke. Like I always heard about you. Rob Markman, Got my nigga scrapped back, back home.

4:06Tony Yayo:Rob Markman, So I wasn't, man. I'm not gonna get on the wrap up. You definitely making the wrap up this year, nigga. I know. White was on point. My guy Televlogos sent ya. So how was it though, man, facing that eight years for that murder? I mean, doing eight years, facing that murder, Charles and all that shit. What was that whole shit like, man? That shit was hard. We not gonna sit and make it, even though all the time, like the perception, it look easy. Niggas see niggas flexing in jail and shit. But that shit is hard. That shit is not easy. Every day you being battle tested, you understand you wake up, especially if you in the streets, you got shit going on, you into shit, you got to facilitate your surroundings.

4:49Definitely being somebody like me, with my status, being a leader, because everybody depending on you. Niggas is hating, envy, jealousy, what's going on, and you got to make shit happen for yourself. and jail ain't designed for you to get no money at all. You could have a legit business, they don't give a fuck about that. You can't be like, yo, I gotta make sure my store open at this time. If somebody gets shot in the jail, going locked down, that shit is dead. That shit over with. So that shit is really hard. That shit is not easy. Nigga definitely make it look easy and nigga do have they good times.

5:31Like nigga be with they bros. Like definitely I want to shout out a lot of my niggas, like free all my niggas, free the niggas that matter. Shout them out, man. Yeah. Shout out Chef, shout out K-Flock, shout out Ali, shout out my son Trini. I want to shout out all the Wolves, all the bros like, you feel me? Cheemy, definitely my son Mel Flock. I probably forgot a few niggas, you feel me? Shout out my niggas from Florida too. Rob Markman, Facts. Facts. I'm locked in with a lot of floating niggas.

6:03Tony Yayo:Rob Markman, What was the relation with K-Flock? Cause I think he had like a 1090 chain on before. Yeah, hi. That's my baby bro. That's like, yeah, my son, him and my son had a relationship. Rob Markman, Okay. I ain't get to meet him personally, but like I used to talk to him all the time through the phone. Like he's looked like he a reflection of me. He was a young niggas coming up, light skinned niggas on the same shit. because you know, niggas, everybody light skinned up, get that vibe, like, you feel me? They play. Yeah, y 'all some tough, y 'all some tough light skinned niggas. I got niggas to hear.

6:38Light skinned, but I'm still a dark nigga, you heard? That's tough niggas, man. Yeah, so. That was the perfect culture. Yeah, it was like, nigga had a love for him. He was a young nigga in the streets coming up on the same shit, like, and I knew that, like, you understand? And then I ain't want to see any hiccups in his career. I ain't have nobody making sure that was going on for me. So now that I'm in that position, that's what I try to do amongst all of my niggas or all of my young niggas, because it's like niggas don't teach you that. Like niggas gonna send you to do some shit that they not gonna do.

7:16Rob Markman, you just crash out fast. Rob Markman, Yeah.

7:17Tony Yayo:Rob Markman, Tell the people where y 'all niggas from, man. From Canarsie to Flossie. Rob Markman, Flossie, Canarsie, baby. Yeah, hell yeah. A lot of niggas don't come out of... like for Pop Smoke to come out of there and put on... That's why... Kenobi was kind of like on the loan book. So yeah, that's a fact. Nah, it wasn't nothing going on over there. Nothing. Nothing. I'm keeping it 100. When we came out, we made this shit lit. Hot. You feel me? That's why 69 don't like us. Yeah. That's a fact. What was the relationship with Pop Smoke with y 'all guys? Nah, he definitely showed a lot of love.

7:54Like, we ain't know him. We from the same block. I know him personally. Like, again, he was out there with him. He met him personally and chill with him. But I talked to him through the phone, and it was like definitely what he said it was. Like, he tapped in. It was love. Like, we was somebody in the hood. I'm older. Like, I'm 31. He's younger.

8:13Tony Yayo:You feel me? So it was like he been seeing what niggas is doing and shit like that. And he's doing the same shit. So it's like we gonna support that. And he really made this shit major on a commercial level. Definitely did, he put on for real. Rest in peace pop, he put on higher. We had his moms on the show. Like the swagger, all that. He dressed like a flossy nigga. All of that, I'm not gonna lie. Straight out the gate. When I seen him, I'm like, damn, he really, he represent the flossy. He embodied the whole shit. His attitude, everything. You know what I wanna ask both of y 'all? Cause I know that's your brother, you love him.

8:51Tony Yayo:and he was facing murder. You hear high speed chases in Miami. You hear all the stories. Yo, who is this nigga? Yo, this nigga, that nigga ain't coming home. Like, what would you, cause you see the Ricos getting handed out like every other day. You just had the M, what's the M.59 niggas in the Bronx, right? You had, I think the Blitz gang in Queens, and then it was some niggas in Harlem. I'm like, you know, I mean, it broke the line. You know more than me. I know, what's crazy is, The Rico's came back to back. It was like a back to back Rico. You faced time. You was in a whole nother town. Yeah, I've been back and forth.

9:29Tony Yayo:That's why I don't be paying attention. Yeah, yeah. That shit was crazy. What would you tell the kids that like, if they not, some of them, some people ain't built for biz, bro. Nah, I don't even know. We can agree with that. What would you tell the kids? A lot of people ain't. They lied when they told you jail is full of real niggas and man, that shit full of thieves and crackheads when you walk in that it's a handful niggas making that happen and like that it's not a million nick i'm telling you ask the that's really movers and shakers they hate that they wake up bumping heads just off of how thinking common sense ain't common yeah But definitely I want the kids to focus on money.

10:18I'm about to come out with my nonprofit organization. It's already in the making. It's called scrap. It's going to be schooling kids righteously against poverty. Definitely niggas pushing peace. Niggas definitely still a street nigga. That's always what it's going to be. That's where I'm coming from. It's nothing into being a street nigga. Like, me, I ain't acting to be nobody. I want different, you feel me? So, it's like, that's what I would tell the kids. Like, focus on money management, you feel me? Staying out the way. Don't go broke trying to keep up with other niggas. Facts, now with social media, niggas.

10:58Facts. Yeah, cuz this shit is fake. A lot of niggas is faking, I'm telling you. And speaking about money, I heard you damn near was putting up your own money to build. Yeah, like that's what I'm telling you. And it's hard. It ain't easy. You feel me? At all. Like, this shit is not easy.

11:16Tony Yayo:Tell the kids how much money that shit costs, man. It costs a lot of money to beat these cases. Stay out of trouble. 200. That's why a lot of people still locked up. Shit that you never gonna see. Never seen that money bag. What? Money bag people you never gonna see in your life. It's a lot of people. They say statistically, like, majority of Americans don't even have 4 ,500 in their account. probably like it's like 60 % of us like niggas don't see that money ever 20 bands is crazy and he done lost money yeah I lost money I had a lawyer that I was really close to and all he killed himself and I had spent 50k with him and he died and that money was gone gone like they had I had to take it up with his estate and it was like in the midst of a death because he was the only one.

12:10He didn't have a firm. I never even knew all of that. Sometimes things work out. Nah, everything work out. Listen, I was at my bottom after all of that. Little do people know. And then nigga like I ended up running it up. When they told me 200 for the lawyer, like the guys put up bread. Almost a quarter. You feel me? Okay, okay. Like I'm not just going, the guys put up bread and then like, Niggas had to pay that time. Got some good friends, brother. That shit. Hell yeah.

12:40Tony Yayo:When niggas hear that too hard, they be like, man. Nah, a lot of niggas did that too. Too hard? You don't even want to call niggas. I'm a money nigga, so it's like, you can't even call niggas with that. Niggas ain't trying to hear that. Facts. You feel me? These kids don't know. The lawyer fees and another thing, 1090. because when it comes to different situations, it's different lawyers, right? So if you got a drug case, you're going to pick a drug lawyer. If you got a murder charge, you're going to pick a body lawyer, right? If you got whatever kind of case, you're going to pick a different, maybe a different kind of lawyer.

13:19Tony Yayo:A fed case, a different kind of lawyer. Now, what you was like in New York, I know Scott Lehman, I know Steve Murphy, and you picked one of the best lawyers. Tell me why'd you pick Don Florio. Shout out to Don Florio. Tell me why did you pick her because she just been working magic with these cases for years. Like things you think a nigga's never going to be. And I spoke to her on the phone and she told me, you're coming home. And I was like, what? At first, I ain't even going to lie. Listen, she told me, I shouted to Dol Florio. I didn't know that. Yo, listen, everybody shouted to Dol Florio, one of the best in the game.

13:54Tony Yayo:She was like, yeah, 1090 coming home. Because I remember there was a case with a kid. I think it's something with the police where a gun went off. Rob Markman Yeah. Rob Markman He was young. He beat the case. Rob Markman We would have to look it up. Rob Markman But what made you pick Don Floria? Like, cause like - Rob Markman I would tell you, alright. My lawyer that died, like rest in peace, Jim Koenig too. Rob Markman He was like really my lawyer. Like, he was a lot of people lawyer too. He was big time. Rob Markman Nah. When he died, I didn't even know who to get. My dog Bandy, my son Bandy, he be running around with Chuck Cash too here in Harlem.

14:37He got his clothing brand. He knew Dawn from being in Harlem and through Queen of Harlem. And he was vouching for Dawn. And my cousin called me one day telling me, my cousin, Briss, he locked up right now. He was calling me telling me like, yo, get Dawn, bro. Like he was going to put bread up on Dawn. He had a dog. You feel me? So I'm like, y 'all sure? I'm looking at her Instagram and shit. I see she on Instagram, but I never seen lawyers on Instagram before. So I'm like, I'm questioning that. Like how you on Instagram every day and fighting for niggas life. Got you. And it's crazy. I'm blunt like that.

15:17I asked her that and all that, but she's really the truth. I ain't gonna lie. What she said? Like she laughed, she's sweet-hearted, but she was like, you know, like she explained it to me. She was like, nobody goes and looks up on Google who's the best lawyer. Like, it's 20, it's new age. It's 2020. That is true. People are going to go to Instagram. So if you see the best lawyer on Instagram, you're more likely going to hire that. That was a good market. And I'm like, yeah, you're right. She's right. So it's like, that's her marketing scheme. And that's what's working for her. And she was expensive.

15:54She's, yeah. And she's one of them ones. like you definitely want her. Yeah, there's no price on freedom. At first I thought he was bugging, but that's what I always used to say. Because I used to be like, because his other lawyer wasn't that and he was him. He was him. So it's like, I'm like, nigga, you doing, she charging that because of her name. But I always said, I'm like, bro, there's no price on your freedom. I can never tell you what you should pay or nothing. If that's what it is, it is what it is.

16:25Tony Yayo:You got to pay a million. You got to pay a million. So it's like, man. Yeah, what? Especially when they not budging, they only offering you life. They not telling you nothing else. There's no other offer. Yeah, so you going to put that. I put that tab in front of my freedom. And then it's like, it's not even only that tab. You got to sit down. You got to pay attention. You got to look at all the flaws, all that fake shit they trying to say. I had a nigga lying on me, framing me. A cooperator, like he was supposed to be a cooperator saying that I was involved in mass shooting with a murder. And it's like, luckily I got done and sat down and really put in work and came up with a defense.

17:18Tony Yayo:Rob Markman 1 So when you do eight years, you got a body on your hands. How do you survive mentally, not only physically? I didn't even only have a... Bro, I was in a worse predicament than that, bro. Like, I was in Florida. I was facing 25 years in Florida because I violated my probation. Because I was on probation for some attempt murders that I copped out to. now after that when I violated my papers I was facing in Florida it's like when you cop out to probation you reopen the case when you violate so now they trying to sentence you on the original case so now I'm from New York it reopens the case they got a saying they got a saying come on vacation leave on probation end up on violation.

18:16I believe that. I believe that. Oh shit.

18:19Tony Yayo:I believe that. You believe that? You looking at them right there. You looking at them proof. I'm staying in New York. I'm staying in New York. Stay in New York, man. Florida laws is crazy. I'm done. Come back to New York. Them Florida laws is crazy. Yo, Florida laws is crazy. He opens your face on a violation. So now look. That's crazy. Boom. Bro. Yo. Yo, they offering 25 years, they not even talking about the murder, nothing. They not talking about nothing. They not even talking about the fleeing and the loot and nothing. They talking about, I violated my probation. Am I ready to go to probation hearing?

18:56Probation hearing ain't like trial. It's a trial. It's like a fake trial, but it's not like trial. What I mean by it's not like trial, they got to prove probable cause, not reasonable doubt. Now, probable cause is anything. You understand? What? You being found guilty. You getting 25. There's so many people in the state of Florida that went to a probation hearing and for nothing. They probably had an attempt murder copped out to probation. They probably, then now when they got out on probation, they probably pissed dirty.

19:28Tony Yayo:You could get probation for an attempt murder out there? Yeah. I got probation. Five years. That's crazy. Boom. That's kind of better than New York. Yeah. And then the back sort of that. Back part of it. Yeah. The back door. Yeah. All right. Play with the back door. But in New York, you just gonna do time. Know what I'm saying? Right? Yeah, that's why this is your key to stay out the streets. Stay out the way. Exactly. Don't even get into none of this, kids. Long story short, I'ma tell you. Stay out the way, yo. Listen, but this what I am. I'ma skip this on school. Yo, bro, I end up hiring three lawyers.

20:03Bro, I end up hiring three lawyers. I hired a nigga named Andrew Ryan first. He a big time lawyer down there, had Mac and Zo in case. Then I hired Larry Hensfield. He was on the Booby Boys case and shit. He a black lawyer, bro. These niggas. Was finessing. Yeah, they was finessing, bro. They tried to swap me out. One day they called me. We never been to court. I never been to court with one of them lawyers. I paid them a full. Bro, the one day that nigga called me to court, he like, yeah, you gonna take the 15 years today? Bro, I hung up. I ain't gonna lie. I called myself. Bandy, I ain't gonna lie.

20:38I'm like, yo, bro. I'm about to take this 15, bro. That's a bargain, gang. He like, nah, we ain't going to do that.

20:44Tony Yayo:Rob Markman But just after the eight, you got the eight in, you like, I'll take that 15? Rob Markman Nah, I don't even got no time yet. I'm just fighting. Rob Markman I just know I'm allegedly wanted for murder and all of this in the state of New York. Now I'm sitting in the county, in Dade County, fighting all of this time. I got 25 years over my head for violation of probation. I'm waiting to fight the fleeing and the looting and leaving the scene of an accident where I rode in the county for four years. I had two lawyers end up hiring a lawyer at the end named Napoleon Hill, a young nigga. I was really supposed to hire him in the beginning.

21:21It's like a whole spiritual story. That shit gonna take long. Long story short, that's real shit. I see the nigga on Good Morning America, the signs telling me like, yo, get this nigga, bro. I call the nigga, I hire the nigga. The nigga go jet skiing with Bandy, Bobby, my son, OP, the lawyer. I'm like, yo, this nigga really fucking with me. All right. He trying to see if he could use my influence as a leverage to where I could do something or they batted all of that shit down. We end up going to court one day. We in the courtroom. After that lawyer offered me the 15 years, I went back and I spoke to Bendy and Bendy said, we're not doing that.

22:03We hired Napoleon. We hired Napoleon. Napoleon come in. He trying to do his little shit. by the time they trying to push me to probation here and I go, I'm in court one day, like a miracle happened. I ain't even going to lie. I told the nigga, I'm like, yo, all of this shit that they saying, they just putting shit on me. New York is calling and saying I did these crimes. They have no lead or nothing. It was a rental car and his name, and he looked just like me. They ain't go and question him if he crashed the car or anything. They just straight arrested me. right so now when i said all of that and my lawyer went forth and was i'm like yo i'll take the 15 right now just speak my case before we go to probation hearing he went up there he started talking he was like when the judge found out that i had probation for allegedly shooting somebody in the head and i copped out the judge was like i'm not you never had sufficient evidence on the original case if you gave him probation for attempted murders so now you want me to send him to prison for 25 years for crashing the car i'm not doing that y 'all need to go figure that out they i had a black judge it's some craziness the lawyer that did try to swap me out larry handsman he was a black dude my judge worked for him at that time like all of this is a message for the kids too that have your money right for these lawyers because these lawyers play games And they really need to know somebody.

23:29And all of this shit is a conspiracy theory. Like when you coming through the system, lawyers are swapping niggas out. And you will never see it until it's happening in your face to you. But now, long story short, Napoleon did everything. He went up there. The judge sent them out, him and the prosecutor to talk about the deal. The prosecutor came back and asked me would I take 10 years on both. 10 years for violation of probation and 10 years for leaving the scene in the accident. Ran concurrent. So I took 20 years, ran concurrent. 10 years, ran concurrent. That was 20 years to them on my record.

24:06I took that and then...

24:09Tony Yayo:I got sentenced to 10 years. Now what are you going through, bro, when he's locked up? Because that's your right hand. That's your brother. After that, though, now I'm waiting for extradition for New York to come fight that case. Damn. Then I came down here. Rob Markman, that's when you're on the island with - Rob Markman, now you got 10 minutes. Rob Markman, day for day, no good time. Rob Markman, yeah. Rob Markman, oh, he was on the island with Sleepy in them at that point. Yeah, now I get to the island, Sleepy in them. Yeah, Sleepy coming to jail. I'm like, all right, pull up. It's lit now.

24:40I'm back in the city. I got balls lit. All right, Sleepy came to jail. I finally get to see my dogs. Like, you feel me? I'm not seeing these niggas. I'm talking to all of these niggas through the phone. Rob Markman, M.D.: It's rare you see brothers hang out with each other.

24:57Tony Yayo:What are you going through? No, I'm saying, because there's not a lot... I got my brother, we hung out, but we had our own friends. Rob Markman, M.D.: We close. Rob Markman, M.D.: You could tell, I know he was going through it while you was going, but he was still grinding. I seen him on Canaan. He was putting out music. He was keeping the name alive. 1090 Scrap, he keeping your name out there. So it's like the brother, the brother ship, it's crazy. Nah, I feel like, I feel like he always been there for me. So it was like, you know, this has always been like, I don't know. I never looked at it like that.

25:31I got other brothers that I don't roll with. So I know what you're saying. We don't know your other brothers. Yeah, that's what I'm telling you. We just know you from being here. That's what I'm telling you. I got other brothers. Look, when he came home, I don't think many other brothers were there. I seen you in rappers. I seen rappers and gangsters. Look, but now look, I'm just explaining it. We just like, I never - Post Crab says other brothers might not be fooling you. I'm sorry, other brothers. I didn't even know he had other brothers. He got jacking that. He's not jacking that. He's my man, bro.

26:02He my pig. Yo, yo. He got the big brother complex. Yeah. Yo, nigga, man. Yo, nigga, man. You gotta know, and we so know, we the known ones. We known. So it's different, but I'm just saying. Nah.

26:18Tony Yayo:Yo, it's great. I feel like, yeah, it's a weight lifted off of my shoulder. I'm happy. I feel like it's less shit I gotta handle. It's mad shit I had to pick up. And not to say I'm still not gonna do my part. I'm a man at the end of the day. But no, it's like, yes, it's a weight lifted off of my shoulder. I know my brother's free. Everybody that doubted, I feel like I've been speaking this shit to exist. So everything just came full circle. Everybody probably thought I was bugging. I'm telling them, they asked me, yo, you think your brother come home? Yeah, he come home. Yeah, I'm always saying that.

26:52Any nigga ask me, I'm always saying that. Man, I didn't give a fuck. I always said this. I'm like, yo, my brother coming home. I know I said it in a song. I know my brother come home. No parole, no probation. I know it. Like, I don't got to double thinking. I got faith in God. We righteous. We do right. I'm gonna get my passport today. So it's like, I'm so crazy. I landed today and went straight to get my passport. Yeah, I believe in God. On Point got his passport. He said, 21 countries. 21 countries. 21 countries. I went to get my passport today and landed at I had you with the passport. Nigga, my daughter been to a world wonder before, niggas.

27:29Keep in the 21 countries. Nigga, my daughter been to a world. I got the large passport too, because I'm be trapped. Yeah, we're gonna try. I gotta get out another one. I ain't got the little one. Yeah, yeah, you gotta do that. That's a lot of papers.

27:39Tony Yayo:I gave him my top three. I said, you gotta go to Dubai, Paris, and Amsterdam. What was your top three? Yeah, yeah, I told you. You said Brazil? I said, Guatemala, Brazil, and Bali. And Bali. Bali. Even though you can't smoke there, good food, you can get super drunk. And one more that I'll throw in there, where the fuck is Manny Pacquiao from again? Fuck. Fuck. The Philippines. Okay. Fire. Fire. I said you had the welcome home party. I see you had G Herbo and everybody out there, man. Sleepy Hollow. How y 'all niggas know everybody? How y 'all niggas be in the streets? I just seen G Herbo say that he spent his birthday in Brooklyn with you.

28:20Nah, with me. I was locked out by time. Yeah, I heard him say that, man. I heard him say that. That nigga fell asleep.

28:25Tony Yayo:Come on, he kept the marketing going. Come on. He kept the marketing going, bro. My son fell asleep. I'm on the phone. My son was good at it. Yeah, because you got Rowdy Rebel Corn, Top Smoke. You got, you know. I'm heavy on that. Bobby, fuck with you. Everybody in the streets definitely fuck with y 'all. It's definitely a lot of respect. And the way you came home, big ass chain. We try to help everywhere. You came home, we're good. Sleepy was there. We good niggas. All of these niggas, y 'all named, we try to help them. That's expensive. I'm not even gonna lie. That's like 10 bands. That's like 15 to 10 right there you got on.

29:00Tony Yayo:Put it on. The Louis jacket alone is a couple of racks. Of course. How you come home like that? Yo, my nigga, yo, listen, man. Bro ready to do the show. My nigga got the Louis shit and all that. You hear me, Yang? Yo, Yang. Yo, Yang. Yo, Yang. OP hit me like, yo, listen, man, swap this FaceTime me, man. Son got the Louis shit and all that. He ready, nigga. Where we going? Nah, y 'all made it a movie because it was like, a lot of rappers don't come home like that. Y 'all know who y 'all are. A lot of rappers. Y 'all don't come home like that. You came home, big ass 1090 chain. Louie shit on, Sleepy Hollow, then.

29:31Tony Yayo:So party with G Herbo the next day and let's talk about this. Y 'all niggas got lit. I ain't even gonna lie, I see a lot of rap niggas not even showing love too though. Because for my story and situation - They should be embraced. After they see the show, they gonna come on. Yeah, that's the show. Yeah, that's the show. Yeah, that's the show. I ain't even worried. You came home, look. You came home, I say you're not a rapper, but you came home like a rapper. You looking like a rapper, nigga. So that was crazy to me like, all right, yo, bro, this nigga got Dom Florio, paid big bag for that. He come home, big change, Sleepy Hollow, and Chef G.

30:08Tony Yayo:Then I'm here, then niggas is telling me, niggas in the streets like, yo, they had K-Flock signed. So then I'm like, damn, they fuck with K-Flock. Yeah, we had them signed to the streets. Yo, they fuck with Pop Smoke, right? And then what's crazy about y 'all, because this nigga knows marketing too. Y 'all niggas, it's like you did all that shit, right? and then went straight to the streaming world with DNAV, which is a movie. I've never seen marketing of a nigga come home that fast. Yeah, this is how we work together. 1090 Music, you heard? What made y 'all go to the streaming like that? I just, no.

30:43Because I like to go live anyway on Instagram, so we're going to just put this shit in their face and get paid for it. What's the point? And we always knew that shit was going to just... Like AB said, They don't want their street niggas on streaming. They don't want niggas like that. You have videos from jail? Yeah, I got all of that. Okay, time for years. Time to bring all that back out. That's a fact. Time to bring all that back out. Bring all that back out. I got all of that. I was eating good, eating better than rappers and all of that. Let's not keep you in that rap. Listen, you ain't. No, no, no, we not.

31:13But I know y 'all street is going pop. Niggas, sorry, niggas. Niggas, we fuck with you ain't talking about. Yeah, I really. Why would we fuck with them? I don't even want to keep talking about.

31:22Tony Yayo:How do y 'all get, like, because right now when you look at AB and Dean, shout out to them, they're like, they the hottest streamers out. Nah, they are. I'm kind of mad they not going to be in streamer university. I really wanted to see them in there. Nah, but they got their own shine. But when y 'all got with them, it was like a lot of fucking funny moments, man. Nah, nah, that shit was fire. You told AB to put the chain on. Yo, nah, nah, nah. But this is what I got to say. Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo. I'm ready to bring you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's our man that influenced him to do that. But look, this is what I want to say.

31:55Let me say this on the screen. Let it talk. Let it talk. But this was my line. But then the nigga said, oh, nah, I put boxes in a box. You know what I'm saying? That was my line. Yeah, yeah. I like that line. Nah, but look, this is what I wanted to say about the other shit. You want to show us my favorite song by you? What's that? If I die, don't cry for me. No, this is what the niggas die for. Yeah. We get it. We get it. We on the same page over here. I told you Pop put me on to that. Look at that. I gotta let my nigga on point talk though. He been talking. Now you certainly not on that topic dead.

32:28We ain't going back to that. I told you that murder talk. We talking that murder talk. That shit on rock smoke. It's over. That's right. Oh, P said, hold up. They talking murder talk. I got to stand down. We need some more. Yeah, where the liquor? We need some more liquor. Yo, you hot in the liquor. Yeah, you over there hot. You got another bottle somewhere. You come full. You come full. That shit real. I think they got some more Don Julio margaritas and all that shit out there. I'm going to go find out in a minute. Hopefully they do.

32:58Tony Yayo:Yeah, get some locksmith Don Julio. Those is banging too. Yeah, they do all that. So what's the next move? Y 'all taking over the stream? How do y 'all get... No, but how do y 'all get next to the hottest streamers? Someone hit me on my shit. My son, Iggy. He hit me up with a production team. He was like, yo, bro, I know your bro just came home. Yo, Dean and I'm out there. Maybe I could set up something. I'm like, of course. Yeah, let's do it. I ran about him. He like, yeah, why not? I'm like, all right, boy. We going to just run the play. Even if we wasn't going to jump into streaming, we knew marketing, getting our face out there, being in front of people playing, able to promote our shit on their shit.

33:34I ain't even doing too much. And then we wanted, I ain't going to lie. I just knew that who we was was going to speak volume, and they chat was going to tell them. That's how I'm like, I knew that. I knew I didn't have a phone reading. They completely, they didn't know us at first. They just knew. AB did. Because nigga fuck with AB. AB, bro. Deep they know, so nigga they was coming on a hunch. I like your team space where the nigga said I put boxes in the bottom.

33:58Tony Yayo:He was like, yeah, that shit was kinda slippery right there. Put boxes in the top of the top. That went viral. A lot of shit. Y 'all went viral, bro. We had a couple days after that. The whole thing is the marketing was done so fast that people don't even notice it. Like I told people we was doing an interview. I ain't even gonna lie. I was just with Kevin Gates the other night too. Kevin Gates showed me mad love. And Kevin Gates don't fuck with nobody. He definitely does. He not cool with nobody. Yeah, that nigga showed me mad love. Don't touch me, nigga. Yeah, he definitely be on some don't touch me shit.

34:28Tony Yayo:Nah, that nigga embraced me all the time. Look at that. I was like, cause I look up to that nigga. That nigga got a crazy story. That's a real street nigga. I wanna go to Louisiana. I'm definitely gonna talk about him. Yeah, it's wild out there. Yeah, that's a fact. And that's really a real nigga. That's a nigga in this shit. Amazon Health AI presents Painful Thoughts. I don't know what they mean by drill. Nah, we killin' this category right here. You a drill rapper, nigga. 50 Cent was a drill rapper. Y 'all niggas speak gangster music. Stop saying drill. What the fuck is drill, the beat? I can rap on your beat and rap the same shit. It's like a drill rap. Nah, nigga, I'm a gangster. Gangsta rap. Gangsta rap. Not a drill rapper. I'm a grown ass man. I'm not a drill rapper. I'm a gangster. Dang on, because you said it.

37:55No, you a gangster rapper. I'm a gangster rapper. We gangster rappers. Like the Smack DVD ever was back then. This is now. I'm gangster. Rob Markman, Jr.: Would you consider this drill? You know how Bobby and Bam, it's called a body body with the most. Rob Markman, Jr.: It's the gangster show, man. Yo, man, go ahead.

38:08Tony Yayo:Rob Markman, Jr.: Oh, nah. They got the ones with the Don Julio on the top out there, the pina coladas. It's all good, man. This more bar, man. Rob Markman, Jr.: Yo, look. When I mean drill, like when you hear drill rapper, they like, yeah. Nah, we don't rap like that though. So Chef rap like that? No! Chef rap like that? I don't consider Chef a drill rapper. All right! So what are you? Are you listening to my music? I don't consider you a drill rapper. So he ain't gonna be one of these. No, I don't consider y 'all drill rappers. What I'm saying to you is how do you feel about that scene? All right, I feel like that's it.

38:36Tony Yayo:Look, because I'm not saying drill music is not good. Drill music is fire. But what I'm saying to is like niggas catch the Rico before they could even... All right, dumb little niggas. All right, look. All right, let me talk. Yo, you consider this drill rap? You know how Bobby say Mitch caught a body body a week ago? So I'm gonna catch another body in a week or so. And we still teeing up that body I just beat a little half. I'm feeling it, bro. Put me up on the floor so I can steam low, bro. Oh shit, dog. It's a bar. My nigga ready to go. Oh, shit, scrap home, nigga. I don't know what some nigga's throwing, nigga.

39:05There's some good bars right there. Is that drill rap? Is that drill rap? I don't consider Shack G and Sleepy Hollow drill rappers. Do you consider that drill rap? Nah, that's not drill rap.

39:14Tony Yayo:What is that? Those are bars. That's when a nigga keep saying the same thing. Eh, yeah, yeah, with that shit. Yes, I understand what you're saying. Get on the drill, shoot, with a young nigga and turn them up. Sometimes you gotta start somewhere and grow. When they don't grow, then it's like, yeah, they stuck in a box. I'm not gonna lie. I love old music. Me too. Like, nah, I don't think you like me. I like old music. I like old music, man. I like old music. Ayo dude, he's a bugged out dude. I listen to all kinds of music. I listen to anything. Like, real talk. I'm not gonna lie. I love a lot of shit.

39:45I love a lot of shit. Be traveling with this guy, you'd be surprised when he was on. So the young niggas, I do like the drill shit. I love that shit. I love the drill. But me doing that all day? Nah, I can't do that all day. I'm not that age no more. But do I love that shit? Hell yeah. And a lot of niggas love it out of town, but they don't get no playing out of town clubs because I seen niggas like 21, they say they fuck with his skiller, baby. Like, but... You know what I mean? It's still a certain extent. It's like a kid vibe. You can't play that when you out with the bodies. I don't know. They want to hear sexy man.

40:20They don't want to hear Kill Kill all day. It's like, what? I saw you on the ladies show, man. I saw you on the ladies show when to come home. Yeah, I like that. I see that. I saw that. I saw that. What's the name of that show? I'm just hearing about that. I just think I've seen a clip. He said, I've been around. Is it Yummy Yellow?

40:37Tony Yayo:I think it's Yummy Yellow. Yeah. Charlie and Princess. Oh, definitely. Shout out to that show. What's the name of that show? Shout out to the pretty unfiltered. Pretty unfiltered. Yeah, I think. I think I seen the clip going viral. This is what I'm talking about. Like every other day, I see y 'all online. That shit gonna go viral. That's how we supposed to do, man. This is like, you gotta tell 50 embrace this. This is New York. This is Brooklyn. If he gonna embrace anybody, he need to embrace us. Real brothers, real blood brothers, niggas in this room. Young niggas, they love me. Great resume.

41:11This week, you're co-signed. Coming up, the young niggas love me. If you're gonna co-sign anything. They looking at me, they like I wanna be like him. Listen to it, I'm motivating them. I'm worried, I had the last record with Pop Smoke too. Oh, you had the last record with Pop Smoke? Yeah, rest in peace. Look at that. My son Bandy was with me too. Look at that. My son Bandy was there, that was the last day. It was a beautiful, a bittersweet day because he lost his life, but I got a memory out of it. So that's why I just cherished that. But my son was 30. But definitely, it's called Rundown, I put G Herbo on it, and it's on his album.

41:43They put it on Faith, not the one 50 worked on. 50 would have had a, you know, no young nigga. For sure, for sure. You was a kid, you know? You was a kid. You was a kid. I recognize who you was. Yeah, I need him. I need to keep doing Shadda at fifth. Like, yo, put me on another episode. We trust all these other rap niggas. Get me. Got me on a, y 'all killed Lou so I can't even come back. Make me come on the show and kill somebody. What? Can't even come back. Yeah, nigga, on the show. The fuck you talking second right there? Let you come on. Yeah, that's your persona. Yeah, let him come on. Yeah.

42:18I got his assist. He said that shit beside him. Fuck, nigga. Yo. You ain't lying. I said that's your persona. It's a legend. Everything is a legend. Nigga, the fuck is you talking about acting now? You getting the - That's them.

42:31Tony Yayo:That's them. People do look up to y 'all. And I respect y 'all. and I love the moves y 'all making. Because like I said, it's not every day you see brothers that are cool like this in business, respected by everybody in the business. Rob Smoke, rest in peace, Chef G, Sleepy Hollow, Rowdy Rebel, Bobby Smyrta, the whole Brooklyn, the whole New York. Yeah, y 'all gonna tell my son Sleepy drop that shit. That's a fact, man. Oh, y 'all got a record of Sleepy? Nah, nah, nah, nah. He just need to drop his shit. Drop his shit. Take it, he need to drop that. That's our plans. We want our man to take over.

43:01I'm about to know that. That's a fact, man. niggas that really had the, if it ain't Bobby and Rowdy, it was Sleepy and Chef or K-Flock. Either than that, it's everybody that fucked with us that had the city. So we just trying to bring that back. No disrespect to A-Boogie.

43:15Tony Yayo:Y 'all the most, listen, A-Boogie is one of them two. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Y 'all are the most controversial, right? Yeah, but without trying to be controversial. We don't pull stunts or do nothing. This is why we murder us. But niggas is controversial, all the murders and shit that's floating around niggas. Look, I'm gonna give you the perfect example, right? He said, I don't know what's coming. I'm gonna give you the perfect example. 1090, right? 1090. Bro, I be chillin', bro. Let's hear people about you, bro. Hold on. 1090, look. 1090, you just went viral. It's going viral. I see it all over the internet.

43:44Tony Yayo:You took a picture in front of Nipsey Murrow with the blue flag, right? But you told AB to wear the red flag that day, because I know Cho and Wu's Crips and everything. I don't know too much as much as y 'all. Cho, Wu is a movement. You're not even talking about that. I was about to just say, Wu is a movement. That's all it is. Rob Markman, We ain't gonna talk about that. Now, but that flag though, how you feel? You knew you was gonna go viral in front of Nipsey shit. Know what I'm saying? Rob Markman, Yeah. I really did it too, more so on some, I could do what the fuck I want. I ain't saying that first, but it's like, I'm a man before anything.

44:21Because I see comments, I see shit, but I don't care. I'm out here doing what I want. But fucking - Rob Markman, It was controversial because niggas was like - I did it behind that content scheme of me saying, like, yo, man, blood, it's not all about the gang shit. That's what I'm showing people. You heard? Like real shit. That was my whole idea. My personal idea of it - It definitely went viral. Was organic. It wasn't to target it on no viral shit. I'm looking like I'm all on the internet saying some blood shit. Like that shit is wack. You heard? Like I'm gonna throw a blue flag on today and we gonna go take a picture and it didn't It makes sense not to take a picture on the west side in front of Nipsey shit and in the hood.

45:04Tony Yayo:Definitely went viral. Because I'm really in the street. So it's like, I could have took a picture at any memorial. He got mad at them shits out there. I drove past one. I went to the Marathon, Burgle, all of that shit. I wanted to go to the one in the hood. You understand? I'm seeing niggas arguing in the comments. Niggas like, why he wasn't in front of Pop Smoke Mural? You gotta go in front of Pop Smoke Mural now. I'm not going in front of - I'm split. And then wait till - Wait till y 'all see what I got coming from the Pop Smoke Mural. Niggas always got something to say. Niggas always gonna have something to say.

45:33Niggas always gonna have something to say. They gonna talk about everything that I got in the middle. Man, we not in this shit to please men, bro. We in this shit to get rich and fuck bitches. 54:20Rob Markman - You okay? We having a good time up here, man. Nah. What I was saying about Dane, exactly how - Rob Markman - You said no matter - He ain't a snitch, he ain't a rap. Rob Markman - And nigga seen you, you was with him the other day. Oh, what I was saying about the OGs, basically, that's what I was getting at. The OGs. I like that Dane is even trying to tap in on some older nigga shit to the young niggas because there's no unity in New York. Rob Markman 1-0 Like it's no, the older niggas ain't reaching for the young niggas there. Rob Markman 1-0 Trying to show them the way. Even though he might need that or whatever, however people gonna try to paint it, I respected that.

54:59Rob Markman 1-0 You still appreciate him trying to do it in the way. And when I got there and that's what it was, I jacked it and I was feeling the vibe. Cause at first I wasn't with it, but I gotta give him that shout out to him. Even on that, like - Yeah, a lot of niggas be scared to cosign niggas. They feel like it's gonna take away from them. That's why I gotta say 50 again. Yo, 50, don't be scared to cosign us.

He said that to you again man, that's the guy right there. What? When you think about it -

57:12Tony Yayo:Flex need to drop a bomb on that. No, but look. It's kinda crazy though because he's doing that and he's an actor so he's soaking everything in too. Like yo, this is how murder trail is. Like the movies. It was like a movie. That shit was crazy. It was. It was. It was. What did you learn? Big time learning. Even him coming in is like a movie. Yeah, that shit. High profile. For the jurors and all, I probably like, yo, what the fuck? They not saying nothing. They're like, I know who that is. Rikers different now. He was doing that when he was in jail. We just didn't register the nonprofit. We did Justice is Blind. We gave back to kids. We ran community programs. We was in newspapers. We was in the Canarsie Courier. We did shit in our community. Not like we went somewhere else.

58:38I want to target both of those, but I definitely want to - We gave out turkeys in Miami. Me, Bandy, flew out to Miami just to give out turkeys. That was his idea. He used to come up with ideas. Yo, all right, we just gonna run the play. Let's do it. Yo, let me tell you something, Scrap. I can tell that my nigga OP happy you home. Right? For sure. I've been around OP a lot. I'm talking like OP behind the scenes shit, in the studio, because you know, this is family type of thing. Yeah, I know. I know. I've been around and OP, he always got energy, but he kind of like reserved. He kind of like, he's just observing what he was going on.

59:16But now I notice my boy is on one. He's on one right there. Yeah, you feel it. I'm happy. That's good. That's my point. If it's any time, it's now. The story is here. It's really good. That's my point. That's my point. Time is now. That's what's up, man. I wouldn't say it before. The story was still right in itself. That's what's up, man. That's what's up, man. That's a good thing, man. And it's still up. That's right. It don't stop until our clock stops. Nigga, and that's at old age. That's at the end of life. Got you, man.
