In short
Episode topic: Bobby Shmurda discusses his viral moments, the “Hot N****” legacy and how it changed rap, his post-prison life and business ventures, and his views on fame/perception and federal attention. He also recounts the day of the FBI/“feds” studio blitz and his own evolution from street life to independence.
Guests
Rob Markman (music journalist/host) interviews Bobby Shmurda. No other named guests appear as regular interviewees; Bobby references people like “50” (50 Cent) and “Chris Lighty” as influences/industry figures.
Guest backgrounds
Bobby Shmurda is a Brooklyn rapper who went viral with “Hot N****,” was incarcerated for years, and later returned to touring and building businesses. Rob Markman is an industry insider who has covered Bobby’s career and asks about his global reach and business side.
Key claims
“Hot N****” stayed relevant long after release and helped make him globally known (including overseas). He says he learned discipline in prison and now avoids environments that could pull him back. He claims the feds weren’t focused on the song itself but on real violence/weapons tied to the case. He argues loyalty and “time” for others affected his release timeline.
Notable examples
Bobby describes a viral “two women” moment and insists it wasn’t the same women. He lists countries he’s toured (Dubai, Korea, Poland, Germany, Romania, Jamaica, London, Paris, etc.). He recounts a studio raid with “10–15” guns (possibly “14”) and being arrested after leaving. He also describes investing in Times Square cannabis partnerships (Daily Green) and other ventures.

2:40Tony Yayo:Y 'all shout up the, so closeably shout up the Barclays. Well, really shout up the Barclays. Y 'all was hot. They allegedly had it. It was hot. GS9 was known for shooting it up at that time. Supposedly. But you did this out for it. But you did this out for it. You're not just saying. They just keep talking. They was shooting. They was hot. They was shooting. Now I'm just saying. Can you get stabbed? Shut the up. OK. Bro, bro. Bro, bro. You get movies with. Oh, shit. Rebel. Yo, bro. Bro, bro. Just get a. Get out of here. I don't get that one. Fuck that one. That's how. Out of my. That's how. Yo,.
3:20Get that body. No karate. Ayy. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Kill the camera real quick, baby. Murder the camera real quick. Murder a motherfucker. Hold up. Murder a motherfucker. Buh. Buh. Buh. Buh. Bobby. Buh. Bobby. Buh. Bobby. Buh. Bobby. Hey, hey, hey, Bobby. Bobby. Yeah.
3:51Murder, that's how you start a show.
3:52Tony Yayo:That's how you start the mother show off. That's how it is when Bobby Smurda's in his show, man. You are? Make some noise for Bobby Smurda in his show. Whoa. Get the door. Let's go. Let's go. I love this guy, man. Let's go. I'm about to be real old, my girl. I'm about to be real honest. Yo, Bobby, you got your two ladies here. Listen, what I drink is rated R. I don't give no. I try to be - Because I got partners and they tell me all the time, Bobby, you don't get in no trouble. I'll be mindful of them. But you know what? I'm drinking. I'm entertaining today. F*** that. Rob Markman - Bobby, last time I seen you - Rob Markman - Pass me the liquor walk.
4:23Tony Yayo:Rob Markman - You went viral. I don't know if you was overseas or something, but you had two women and you had your shirt off and you was just living your life. I don't know if you was in Ibiza or something. And you got two beautiful women now. Rob Markman - I was in Du Beasley. I was in Du Beasley. Rob Markman - Du Beasley? Rob Markman - Yeah, I call it Du Beasley. They call me Mr. Do Beasley Dubai Dubai This is how you live your life every day Tell us about your life Nah I don't do this every day See you can't be doing this Cause people will call my phone And I be having to do business meetings And they be like What are you doing over there I be like what What the fuck you talking about Like what's going on with the paperwork And the motherfucking shit Nah man You know what I'm saying They start thinking about I'm having sex all day And I don't want to paint that image As I have sex all day Robby I think you painted that image I think they painted it They paint images And people we just talk about perception right Like, people paint images of me and be, you know what I'm saying?
5:11I'm just a player. I'm a player pin from the heaven layers. It's cool. I gotta retire one day.
5:18Tony Yayo:Nah, man, this energy, you know, you always bring the energy. Like I said, you could see you in Brooklyn. Know what I'm saying? And then one day I see you at this billionaire house where the art is millions of dollars. And I'm looking like, all right, me and Murda, we came here with 50. Kim Kardashian's here, Serena. Serena Williams. Bobby Smurda? What the fuck? Like, it's like, how do you, people don't know your business part of you, like seeing you overseas, seeing you be global, making hit records. People don't understand the business part of you that me and him have seen, seeing you being there.
5:49Rob Markman - And that's with being inside the industry, the levels that y 'all at, because y 'all at so high levels. People that's outside the box, they ain't even gonna know what the fuck going on. You know what I'm saying? I see y 'all, y 'all like, oh shit. Cause I expected, like when I'm in those parties, I expect to see y 'all niggas legends already. I've been in the game for how long? You know what I'm saying? So me being there is an honor to be even around y 'all. You see what I'm saying? To be amongst y 'all motherfuckers. When I see y 'all, I'm like, oh shit. Fifth and I'm performing with fifth and I'm, oh shit.
6:17You know what I'm saying? We tore the show. I forgot we tore the stage down. That's right. I forgot we tore the stage down. We definitely did. You better believe it. I forgot we tore the stage down.
6:26Tony Yayo:I totally forgot about that. Rob Markman - With the mother, so just being even to experience to tear the stage out with 50, my nigga, that's like a move because I remember a motherfucker growing up with 5th, bro. I was getting expelled third, fourth, fifth grade listening to 50, you heard? Rob Markman - Look at that. Look at that. Rob Markman - Look at that real shit. Rob Markman - So it was like being able to perform with that nigga on stage, it's something different than that. Not doing it, coming from a major label, doing it my own way and be able to see the legends of people I admire and shit like that.
6:52Rob Markman - Nah, facts. Rob Markman - And the people that gave him game telling me they gave me the same game and shit like that. So it's like, it's definitely, you know what I'm saying? Definitely, definitely. So how did you feel when you drop Hot Niggas?
7:01Tony Yayo:And you know, by the way, you know Lloyd Banks had that beat first. Yo, that's great. You didn't know that. I knew that. I knew that. Yo! I knew that. When he put the song out. When he put the song out though, he was still Juno at the time. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So 15 all of them produced the song. I'm not sure who the producer was. I mean, I don't know what I mean. John Lil Beats, but not, but they distributed it. I think he just had it on a mixtape or something. Rob Markman Type shit, just threw it out type shit. Rob Markman Yeah, so it was crazy. He had the beat and then you came with the hit. Rob Markman I heard that.
7:31Tony Yayo:Yo, bro, I heard that shit. Rob Markman It was crazy. Rob Markman Oh my God, concept. Rob Markman Who's got the beat from it? You heard the Banks record or you heard the instrumental? Rob Markman I heard the instrumental first. Rob Markman Okay. Rob Markman I didn't even know it was the Banks record. I heard the instrumental. Then I heard the Banks record after I recorded Hot Niggas. Rob Markman Got you. Rob Markman I recorded that shit 2013. Rob Markman I shot the video 2014 and it's crazy. I clap something that day. I tell niggas all the time. I shot some - In front of all them niggas. I was a wild nigga when I was young.
7:57I was a bad nigga when I was young. I was a little wild nigga. But I'm grown now. I'm 32. I'm in offices now. I'm in different environments. So I conduct myself different now.
8:07Tony Yayo:But how did you feel when the record came out and you like - You throw your hat, you got the dance, your animator, you're sliding over cars. Like people are still, for the snowstorm that passed a while ago, they were sliding over cars. Rob Markman, you was still going viral. Rob Markman, you still going viral. Rob Markman, Hot nigga is a hit record. I'm going to tell you why. Because it came out so long ago, but you can still tour off it. It's still relevant. It still comes on and it's still fucking hit. It's not microwave music you was putting out. You put out some hits. How the fuck did you feel?
8:40Tony Yayo:Like being out, because you know, it's been a while since somebody came out of Brooklyn with a hit like that, bro, at that time. You know what I mean? That shit was like worldwide. Why? Like a lot of artists from New York are not really global. That made you global. Like I was overseas and heard hot niggas and you had niggas in Paris throwing their hat and doing the dance. Talk about that shit, man. Rob Markman, Nah, nah, the difference, the international, I felt like it hit so quick that, remember I signed a label at July 17th. We went to jail December 17th. Rob Markman, Damn. So we only had like four months out.
9:15Niggas do four months in the box in the jail, you know what I'm saying? Like, that's the four months we as the celebrities for before we went to jail and then we came home, man. You know what I'm saying? So, I think when it first hit, we was on a run. We was doing so much shit. Cops popping up here, there, there. Niggas shooting niggas the other day. This and that. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, computers we clapping. Yeah, murder you. Nah, everybody know. Yeah. You know how to tell them. You know what I'm saying? So, it was like, we was in and out of it. Cause we like, damn, we getting something like, yo.
9:42But at the end of the day, we still paranoid. Got you. So now I'm enjoying it where I know I ain't got to worry about looking over my shoulder. I'm about to say, it seems like you're having so much fun since you came home. You've been having so much fun, man. Yo, listen, I protect that shit like know the mom. Because it's worth anything. Because I tell people, it's like, when you get in, it's so easy to get in there. It's so hard to get out. You know what I'm saying? I've been going to jail since I was like 11, 12. So what made you sick more?
10:10Tony Yayo:Going to jail or missing out on all that fucking money? I think I was sick until like 20, until I turned 25. I was around Fat Cat, I understand why I was in jail for. I'm like, yo, I'm in jail. You know what I'm saying? I went to jail for my bros, of course, but at the same time it was a dirty case. You know what I'm saying? But long story short, like yeah, it was a dirty case. You know what I'm saying? So long story short, when I did go to jail, I'm like, why the fuck I'm in jail for? Man, I did so much shit and they got me seven years with some bullshit. First gun charges and that. So, when I was in jail, I turned 25.
10:49I was standing over a motherfucker with a weight, with like a weight shit. And then the nigga Fat Cat, he tell me, he said, yo, he said, yo, you like the stupidest, smartest nigga I ever met. I said, what you mean by that? He like, nigga, you come up with this whole smart plan and they used to be around some stupid motherfuckers that make you do some stupid shit. And they used to be gone. You like all the shit you just made up and anything you about to do. You had niggas making moves, everybody out off now. Everybody going. You going in a box, you probably had the jail about to do this, that, you got niggas doing this and that, now you going.
11:17So I started learning how to control myself and my environments and say, yo, nigga ain't put no gun to my head telling me to go over there. That's pride telling me to go over there because I feel like, oh, I'm from the hood, so I'm supposed to go over there or I'm supposed to be, nigga, I ain't got to go nowhere. Rob Markman - Definitely. Rob Markman - And then when I stopped doing that, so much other and shit started coming towards me where I, you start seeing shit attract to you. You don't even got to go over there. You know what I'm saying? So I started picking up that type of shit. I started staying away from shit that get me somewhere I don't want to be.
11:48And that's what it was. And I think that was through loyalty or the homies over there. So I got to pull up. Nah, niggas, nah, the homies over there and some shit ain't right. And I tell niggas ain't right. Niggas end up going to jail. Now they call me for bail money. This nigga call me for lawyer money and shit like that. So I started learning how to not be certain places. And I feel like if I didn't go to jail, I know if I didn't go to jail, I was stupid.
12:10Tony Yayo:Rob Markman - Oh, you would have been up, because we got to calculate the show money. Hot nigga at that point - Rob Markman - No, nah, fuck the hot nigga. I was saying how I came into the industry, I wouldn't have probably, I'd have probably been doing 25 to life. Rob Markman - Because how the industry struck me. Rob Markman - So you felt like you had to sit down for that little bit of time then? Rob Markman - I think God put me there for a reason. Rob Markman - You know what I'm saying? Rob Markman - Because I done did so much shit, my nigga. I'm just so much shit. I mean, I'm here for this bullshit right now for six years too.
12:33I'm like, nigga, I done shot 12 niggas under this, that. It could have been way worse. It could have been way worse. And I got so much smarter than that. And then I came out, I made more money than I ever did when I first signed the contract and I first came out with Hot Niggas. You know what I'm saying? So I learned so much shit. And I think sitting down just like grew me up.
12:50Tony Yayo:Rob Markman 1, 2nd, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, at this point in time, we could get 100 ,000 a show, 250 ,000 a show. So for me, you had it only out for four minutes, four months. I'm thinking about the millions that you fucking missed. Like a Chris Lighty would have been like, rest in peace. You know, he was signing a Violator, we messed with Violator. So he would have just been like, yo, you know how much money we're gonna miss? Cause you're still getting money off the record now. Tell them all the places you've been. You said Poland, Germany, go ahead. I meant to - Go ahead, I like this talk.
13:29Tony Yayo:I like this global, not local talk. I like this talk. Yeah, this is what I said. I like this talk right here. I've been to Korea, I've been to Dubai, I've been to Poland, I've been to Germany, I've been to Romania, I've been to Jamaica, I've been to St. Martins, I've been to Honduras, I've been to London, I've been to Paris, I've been to Belgium, I've been to... Where else? Fucking... Passport. For real. I've been to DR. I've been to fucking Norway.
14:11I've been to Norway. You got a guy pointing my... Sam, you got a phone with Sam just now. He trying to take me to Thailand right now. Look at that. Sam from Morocco? I'm talking to Sam right now, nigga. How do you - That record, remember that record? Yeah, that's the record that Sam played. Oh, yeah.
14:27Tony Yayo:Yo, yo, let me tell you. Smurda got a record that he did with a guy that made a beat in Switzerland. It's a hit record. I don't know what he's waiting for. I get mad. I heard it overseas. Amazon Health AI presents Painful Thoughts. Why did I search the internet for answers to my cold sore problem? You looking for a wife. So I think, so my name is Akeel. And Akeel is Muslim. You feel me? So I think I'm going to have to revert to some Muslims. I think I'm going to be like four wives. We talking about that earlier. You know what I'm saying? Four wives. You know what I'm saying? Happy life. You know what I'm saying? ain't have four wives, doesn't have your life, you know what I'm saying? I need four hearts. I need four heartbeats, you heard?
20:25Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. I need boom, boom, boom, boom. I need a little more, you know what I'm saying? So it's just, I might have to be - I might have to be - I'm just saying - I might have to convert. I might have to convert to a Muslim and get four wives, man. I don't know.
20:39Tony Yayo:See, there you go. There you go. That's the love of this guy energy. But, I say, listen, these my babies right here. You know, we like to have fun, you know what I'm saying? We young, we live our life. I take care of them, make sure they good, they make sure I'm good. And we just human beings caring for each other out here. You know what I'm saying? It's all about living your life the way you choose to. That's right. He's my babies though. You know what I'm saying? Definitely. Are y 'all cool with him having more than one? I'm fine. Rob Markman - That's right. Rob Markman - I'm just keeping this like - Rob Markman - Time and place, time and place. Rob Markman - How do you feel, Bobby, when people be talking about...
21:43Rob Markman - Me and you talking about, but how do you feel when people talk about, They're standing there or they think something is sweet because of these. So I laugh. So when people do that shit, I be wanting to show them, but then I be like, if I show them, that's me reverting right back to where I want to. Got you. You know what I'm saying? Sometimes I be looking like, yo, this nigga person testing me. And I be like, yo, I never been tested before until I was Bobby Shmurda. So I know the Bobby Shmurda. It's awful being Bobby Shmurda. I'm like, where you getting your information from? You getting your information from the internet that's going to make me slap the shit out you.
22:10And I slap the shit out you, it's going to be some shit. Got you. You know what I'm saying? So I can't even get down like that. So I know it was a trick ahead of time. Like niggas told me the smack campaigns was ahead of time. One time I had a situation. I ain't gonna lie, I first came home, I had a situation and I forgot what happened. I think somebody, a bitch had called me gay, my nigga, because that shit came out. I gun butt that bitch, I shot the studio up. I said - Rob Markman, God damn. Allegedly, y 'all. Allegedly. Nah, but we good. That's my brother. The owners was there. Listen, the owners was there.
22:41The owner apologized to me after. He apologized. And we friends and I came and booked the studio again so they can't do nothing. Got you, got you. That's my dog. Got you, got you. That's all love. Got you. Got you. But that's when I learned that that's what it was for, is tricks. So I say, yo, you can't listen to my trick, you're out your place. Got you. If somebody don't know you and they playing with you, it's just like, you know what I'm saying? If a nigga playing with you and don't know you, I remember I think the situation happened with niggas. I ain't gonna bring that nigga. But long story short - Nigga played.
23:09Yeah, nigga played, you know what I'm saying? And then it's like, I'd be like, yo, these niggas don't know no better. And then by the time you be on top of a nigga, you know what I'm saying? He's like, all right, and then you gonna be in jail. And then once you in jail, it's over.
23:18Tony Yayo:Rob Markman, Trust me, you have nothing to prove. You went up top. Rob Markman, So I learned. Rob Markman, You wasn't in no PC. You was in population. Rob Markman, No, I was IPC. Everybody know I was in IPC. Now, I've been to the field now. Everybody know I've been to the field. When I was in the field, I've been to the field plenty of times. I've been in population plenty of times, but they always IPC me. Rob Markman, Yeah, but once you high profile like that, they're going to put you in no matter what. Rob Markman, Yeah, yeah, yeah. Rob Markman, I was on an island, they wanted to put me in PC too, after they figured out who I was.
23:43Tony Yayo:Rob Markman, When I put you on an island, I was at Adam Maseg, I got to Adam Maseg. So when they first came in, they put me and Rowdy in the IPC. They separated us, first of all, before they even put us in PC, they put us in West Facility. Nigga, West Facility is so dusty, you in the room by yourself like nobody. There's nobody there. It's just, they got the bathroom in the room. It's like some fed shit. They got the bathroom in the room. They got the fucking kitchen in the room. They got everything in the room. Telephone, everything. You ain't got nowhere to go. Rob Markman, Yeah, y 'all was wowing.
24:09Rob Markman, Bro, you ain't got nowhere to go, bro.
24:10Tony Yayo:Rob Markman, I remember when y 'all got arrested, right? And then how'd you feel like they headlines because y 'all was like all cuffed up together. And that was like the beginning. It felt like that was... Every Rico's are going around now around like chopped cheeses out here now. Rob Markman, But before, but now y 'all was like the first Rico. Y 'all was in the studio. It's like, I don't know if there was somebody telling or something because y 'all had 14 guns in the studio, nigga. It was like 14 hammers. What was that day like when the Feds blitzed the studio? Imagine we in the studio, Merc, 14 guns in there, 14 gangsters, and Feds blitzes.
24:44Tony Yayo:What the fuck did that feel like? When that shit happened, they didn't catch me in the studio. I was the first one they caught outside. When I came outside, before I came outside, somebody came up and they was like, those wild cops outside. And we already paranoid. We already know that. Like we got, we didn't even know niggas got family. Rob Markman How many guns is really? Is it really 14? Every 14 niggas 14 guns? Rob Markman It's probably like 10 guns in there. We already had like 10 gun charges, 25. I mean, we had probably like 10, 15 gun charges. So they put like all of it on the table and say, yo, they charged with all of this.
25:16But that night they caught like 10 guns. Like 10 guns, probably that night. I had two guns. They caught two guns in the car I was in. It was me, my shorty. We coming down. Before I leave, niggas come upstairs, they like, yo, it's wild police upstairs. Every day there's wild police outside. So when I'm looking at these niggas, it's on those wild guns in here right now, wild niggas in here. I'm out, boom. I'm spinning. I'm like, oh, grab your hotel by. Boom. So we leave now, we pushing out. When we pushing out, get downstairs, I see wild cars. I don't see no cars, but I see cars outside, but I don't see no cars.
25:47You know what I'm saying? No, no, like police cars. Rob Markman, Police cars. So we jump in the car now. So when we jump in the car, we pull off. I see a car pull off behind us. I'm watching it the whole time now, but it's like a regular car. So, boom, when we start driving off, we get down the block, me, Monte, my shorty, nigga, Porky, and somebody, I forgot who else, nigga, a billion-armed cousin. So, boom, we driving, we get up the block, the nigga we think is, you know what I'm saying, ops and shit. So, we like, nigga, fuck niggas no, you know what I'm saying? So, boom, niggas get right. Yeah, whoop, whoop, whoop.
26:18Oh, shit. We go to jail. I said, oh, bro. I said, oh, bro. I said, nigga. They blitzed on y 'all. Nigga, we go to jail. Yo, nigga stop the car, I wanna slap this nigga in the back of his head, bro. Yo, we slap this nigga. I'm 19. I'm 19 at the time. I don't do this no more now. You heard? I'm 32, I got businesses, I got fucking passports, I'm legal now, I don't do shit like that no more. Yeah, yeah, I'm just, yeah, I'm retired. Better things to do with the time. I'm retired, but this is before when I was young in my younger days, you know what I'm saying? For sure, for sure. I'm 37 now, you know what I mean?
26:51Real shit. When I was young, over. When I was young, fuck it, oh, I tried to tell niggas slap. I mean, I'm telling niggas on thing, dip. I'm like, yo, wait till the niggas come to the car. So when they come to the car, just drive off, bro. We got guns in here. The nigga like, it's good. We got our license, this and the thing. I'm like, stupid ass nigga slap. What's niggas stop saying now? I'm like, I'm gonna slap this nigga.
27:10Tony Yayo:Get out the car. Yeah. Fuck. Get out the car. Get out the car. That's the fact. I'm like, you dumb ass nigga. That was defense. It was detective. Yo, listen. Yeah, Brooklyn South. And you got to think about this, right? Because you know a hot nigga, right? Rob Markman - That Brooklyn North or South? Rob Markman - South. Yeah, Brooklyn South. Rob Markman - So you gotta think about this, right? Rob Markman - They was grimy, man. Rob Markman - They was grimy. Rob Markman - And this is what niggas... You know, because some niggas be like... because in the song, you name niggas, Monte, this, that nigga, hot niggas, hot niggas.
27:36Tony Yayo:You named your niggas. I know they was hype when that shit came on. Yeah. Rob Markman - But you was the... You kind of was the kind of like first nigga before the drill niggas to do that. So niggas be like, damn, he named niggas in that shit. But it's like everybody do that now all the time. It's kind of like you was the first nigga to do a lot in that song. Like hot nigga, we didn't know who niggas was. We just liked the song. But you like, Monty got it on him. He a hot nigga. So you know niggas be like, damn he was telling on it. Nah, he wasn't telling on niggas to do music. You know what I'm saying?
28:06Tony Yayo:Rob Markman, Real talk. Rob Markman, When you look at drill, niggas do that every day now. So how do you feel like being the first nigga to like kind of make a hit record, you name and your niggas and the feds just kind of really on you. You know what I'm saying? Rob Markman, Yeah, so when the fed wasn't on us, it was detected. The feds didn't want our case because they like it's bullshit. They like we need something real solid because we too smart. We were smart niggas. Rob Markman, Yeah, because they didn't care about the song, but y 'all niggas was shooting shit up for real. Rob Markman, They knew it was sort of police.
28:35Tony Yayo:Rob Markman, So closeably, shout up the Barclays. What really? Shout up the Barclays. Rob Markman, Well, I don't think - Rob Markman, Y 'all was hot. Rob Markman, They allegedly had - Rob Markman, Y 'all niggas was hot. Gs9 was known for shooting shit up at that time. Supposedly. But you did the sound for it. It was a legend. I'm just saying. They was shooting shit. They was hot. They was shooting. Nah, I'm just saying. Cause you in the salt pot, nigga. I gotta watch the niggas got the pills right now. They really shoot, nigga. 29:07Tony Yayo:He got locked up for it. What is the secret? This shit real. He got locked up for it already. I talk about my shit. All I'm trying to say - It's all documented. Yo, yeah, can you let him talk about it then? That's what I'm trying to say. Can you let him talk about it, yeah? Yo. Yo, I'm like this real quick for you. Cause I don't wanna sound federal, what I'm just saying. Yo, I can't, right? Yo, I can't, I love this. I don't wanna sound federal, but it's all out already. Y 'all out to jail. I swear I want the people to know. Go ahead, go ahead. Every day with this nigga. Hey, listen. Yo, yo, yo.

After seven years, you can't get locked up. We know the law. We don't know about no murders. Murders is forever, nigga. I don't know about no murders, you know what I'm saying? Rob Markman, can we get some more music?
30:44Tony Yayo:Rob Markman, bang bang. Rob Markman, bang bang. Rob Markman, can we get some more music? Rob Markman, what are you waiting for? We need that New York energy back. Rob Markman, this summer's coming. It's coming this summer. I promise y 'all that. Rob Markman, okay. Rob Markman, you a walking movie. Rob Markman, it's coming this summer. You know what it is? I have to get my business right, being independent. Being independent, I have to learn that 50 taught me a lot. You know what I'm saying? I got a post on with 50, I keep it on my Instagram, on my main reel at the top. Rob Markman, you know what I'm saying?
31:07Him spitting game because niggas need niggas like 50 and people don't understand that all the time when I say niggas need niggas like 50. When he said that this shit is a business and he gave us the key. He said niggas is a business when you putting your shit together, especially if you're an independent artist, you gotta put budgets behind your songs. You gotta put budgets behind your projects if you wanted to do this and that. For a nigga to tell you that, that's more than a million dollars. You know what I'm saying?
31:32Tony Yayo:Rob Markman, I think you was over loyal. Rob Markman, Over loyal? Yeah, because if I were the hot nigga, I would've told niggas I wouldn't have took more time for niggas. You did that. You know what it was though? Listen, I'm not taking more time for uncle murder. I'm not doing that shit. Damn, my nigga, that's crazy. That's crazy. I'm glad I know now. If I got a hot nigga out. 32:07I'm doing my time. I'm not gonna tell, but I'm not doing extra time
32:11Tony Yayo:for Uncle Murda, yo, to help. Like you did Rowdy, I'm not doing that. I wouldn't have done that. You don't even talk to half of these niggas now. Why would I do that? I got hot nigga. No, hold on, let me say one thing. Listen, Murda, let's keep it real. Go ahead, go ahead. When I say he's overly loyal, because if I would have had hot nigga, wreck it out, nigga, I would have been like, I'm not gang gang. I don't gang bang.
32:40Tony Yayo:And I would have went and did my own thing. Niggas said, I'm not gang gang. I don't gang bang. And I would have went and did my own thing. He the star. He's the star. He said that I would have went and did my own thing. Once niggas forget I'm the star of the show, I'm done. What are you talking about? That nigga was overly loyal. take it extra time. I would've been like, man, listen. This nigga's a dickhead. You know what I'm saying? Hey, yo, cuz. Fuck that. This nigga is stupid. Yo, this nigga said, gang gang, I don't gang. Yo, you know what it was? Yo, I can't. You was loyal to your gang. You was loyal to your gang.
33:13Before I was a rapper, I was saying, kid niggas. So that's what people don't know. Like, Ja, I tell you. Like, our nigga, Roddy tell you, everybody tell you. I was a nigga with all the guns on the block. All the money. This nigga come. Yo, I need$100. I need$200. I need$300. They call me the bank on the block. They used to call me, they'd be like, yo, this bank, them niggas be scamming. And I get scamming, you know, some days you up, some days you down. When you crack, nigga, we leveled out. We always got money, you know what I'm saying, nigga? I mean, we got money from last week, from the other week.
33:38So, them niggas be, them niggas come in, they be like, yo, Bob, give me a band real quick. Give me a thing, I'll give you two to eight thousand back the next day or some shit like that. And them niggas come back and do that shit. I bet you think, what the fuck? And then they just spend their money on clothes and shit like that. Fuck wrong with y 'all niggas, man. 34:10Tony Yayo:But Murda, that was the first time that was done in hip hop. He could, I'm not saying don't take your time. I'm just saying, niggas was like, yo, Bobby's a real nigga because he took time, more time for other niggas. Wasn't niggas saying that? Rob Markman Yeah, because you know what? That's loyalty. Rob Markman That don't happen. That don't happen. Rob Markman I'm going to do my time. Rob Markman I'm going to do my time. Rob Markman You don't hear about shit like that. Rob Markman I got hot niggas. Rob Markman I got hot niggas. Not saying computers wasn't, you know, it was, but hot niggas was the worldwide record.
34:41Tony Yayo:Let's just be honest. Rob Markman No, of course. Rob Markman You're not going to take nothing from that, but it's a worldwide record. Rob Markman He's the star. Chris Lighty would not let him do that. I'm like, listen, take your time. we gonna try to get you maybe two years to get you out. Yo, yo. Rest in peace Chris Lighting. Yo, yo. This shit is business. 50. 50. 50 would've been like, yo, why is he taking extra time for other niggas? He got the biggest record. We gotta get him out. You wouldn't have said that? I was one of the main shooters, so I get it. You know what I'm saying? It's like murder, though.
35:16It's gang gang at the end of the day. You a loyal nigga, man. When you ending a certain type of way, pour some of that. I was in it all the way. Yeah, man. So at that time when I was young, I was in it all the way. Like all the way. I'm a nigga. You know what I'm saying? I was all the way. I told him I'm a nigga with all the guns. So if shit happened, they come to me first. You know what I'm saying? I'm a nigga with everything. So I get it. My mama be kicking me out of my house. She find five guns. She be kicking me out of my house. Kiki! Get that shit out the fuck out of my house! What the fuck are you doing to my roof?
35:45Tony Yayo:It ain't the game where... Everybody know it ain't the game where you from, bro. Rob Markman, that's why I love to see you live your life and see you dance and don't really care, but I really know you from the streets, bro. Rob Markman, I'm going through my own transition to being happy. Like, yo, a nigga ain't waking up next to crackheads. Nigga ain't waking up next to crackheads, like really sleeping next to crackheads, like on the couch. My nigga, we used to talking about this earlier. You got to keep your hands in your pockets, nigga. Make sure you touch your bag. Make sure, you know what I'm saying?
36:13You nigga at the table like this. Nigga called Hemroids, nigga. Nigga called Hemroids. nigga at the table so long, like still asleep. Nigga ain't been in the bed how long, you know what I'm saying? So it's like, it's a different type of appreciation.

38:53Tony Yayo:When 50 beats with somebody, it's not like we're ducking the beef. It's just, it's levels. Like 50's on, he's an icon. People are rappers. You got icon, rappers. Icon, rappers. He just comes out and he just likes to fuck with everybody because he's so rich and shit. I have nothing to do sometimes. But what I'm telling you is - We love it. We not telling those - Are you not entertained? No, we are entertained. All right, cool. But I take shit too far. See, I'm a clap with them niggas 50. I'm telling you, bro, I don't know how to do the rap, dude. I don't know how to do none of that talking shit.
39:27When I was a kid, you know how we young niggas is trying to do the chest to chest shit. I ain't never do none of that shoulder to shoulder shit. Go straight down, nigga. This is what happens, bro. I don't even know how to do that. This nigga play anything. I was just telling you when I ran into a nigga I shot in Queens and he was like, yo, I was on the album and I told niggas the bullet just missed my heart and shit. And shit that'd be funny to us. We like this shit. Like we joked, that's how we get along. They don't understand that shit. Uncle Murda and Bobby Schmurda. It's Brooklyn. Bro, listen, Murda had one of my best freestyles.
40:01Yo, listen, Murda had one of my best freestyles. Gentlemen, gentlemen, listen. I'm sorry. Hold on, you got to be careful. Let me explain something to you. Murda had one of my - Murda, hold on, listen. No, no, no, you gotta listen. One thing, one thing, one thing. We gotta let all of guest talk. I love your friends. Y 'all gotta let me say one thing.
40:16Tony Yayo:Listen, I gotta get my point. If you sign to G-Unit, right? Listen, you're staying in the - Listen, hold on. You're staying in the Armani hotel. You and your ladies are having orange caviar for breakfast. You might, listen, you might see Armani in the hotel. You know, you're living the best life. Rob Markman, where we at, the rappers are not there. It's not like we're ducking smoke. Our smoke is like, we're on a whole nother level. Rob Markman, Yeah, I know. Rob Markman, So like for instance, we did a private party. Yo, where we going? Hublot, you know, of course they give a$50 million watch. They let me and Murda try some watches on.
40:55Tony Yayo:So you and Murda give those back. Rob Markman, I can't buy - Rob Markman, You and Murda give those back. Rob Markman, Yeah. Rob Markman, You and Murda, I think I'm hype. Rob Markman, You sound like me. Rob Markman, Listen, somebody - Rob Markman. Rob Markman. Yo, look, murder. Listen, true story. Yo, listen, this is the story. So we go to Hublot. So me and murder, we open. We like, this is a fucking Hublot party. So they like, yeah, they giving 50 million dollar watch. I'm like, oh shit. So, you know, they put, they put some watches on me and murder. We was like, oh shit. This shit like probably 40, 50 ,000.
41:27Like, oh shit.
41:28Tony Yayo:Murder got his own. So the lady's like, she comes to us, the lady from Hublot. She's like, you guys know this just performance for you guys. She was like, so she just kept messing with murder. She was like, I told you, this is performance. Because we look like we just going to run out of there with the Hublot. So cool. We got to give our watches back. We ain't stressing to give a$50 million watch. We perform. You know? So after the performance, she's looking for me and murder with them Hublots, bro. She's looking. Rob Markman, No, before that, she said it, she said it. She watched it. She reminded us a few times.
42:01Hey, fellas, I know y 'all got to give the watch. I said, you're a miss. You know what? I don't even want the watch. Take the watch back. I don't even want to wear the watch. Listen, hey, swear to us. I don't even want to wear the watch. Listen. She wanted us to sign paperwork too. You forgot that part. We had to sign paperwork. Of course. I got to sign this to wear the watch. I said, miss, I don't even want to wear the watch. That's cool. I don't want to wear your watch, man. That's cool. You know I wasn't mad. I got my own watch. I don't want to wear your watch, man.
42:24Tony Yayo:Listen, I wasn't mad because the watch he probably had on was probably 50 ,000 and the one I had on was probably 50 ,000. But this is where we perform at. So we're performing at like Dreyas. We do big boy shit. Now, Shout to Liv, you know what I'm saying, Las Vegas. Dreyas shut down, so now everybody party at Liv. It's always a movie with Fiv. We ain't party in the little venues and bullshit niggas fuck with. See how you was with the billionaire house? Yeah. Where we pull up. Who was there? Tell them who's there. Serena? I be doing a party with them niggas. Serena? Serena?
43:01Serena? I know niggas ain't fucking with Diddy. Yo, Smyr, hold. That nigga's in hoes. Nah, hold on. Let me say something about Diddy. Diddy, hold on. Yo, Smyr, don't do this. Hold on, don't do that. Don't do that. Don't do that. That's all I'ma say about Diddy, right? The only thing I don't - Hey, talk your piece, nigga. Talk your piece. I'ma talk my piece, you heard? Listen, we be fucking bitches in the hood, you know what I'm saying? Niggas been fucking running trains on bitches in the hood. So, they're running the trains on the shit, but I don't know about the watching the nigga while you doing other shit, you know what I'm saying?
43:28But as I say, the freak-off parties, listen, freak-off parties, I get that, cause niggas, y 'all bitches on the gram, y 'all know y 'all was doing that in the hood too, the trap, nigga, don't be acting like, we ain't hangin' on the spot. It's like 10 bitches, it's like four of us niggas, it's wild. See, I think they'd let in and get some money.
43:45Tony Yayo:Yo, you saying free diddy is a no diddy. No, no, listen. I can't fuck. That's all I'm saying to you. I can't fuck. You can keep it. Yo, yo, listen, yo, listen. Yo, Skrater you bugging the hell. No, no, no. Listen, listen. Listen, I don't believe. Cuz you know what it is? I know people be lying and I know how far lies be going, you heard? And I be like, yo, you be fucking with people of mine. You know what I'm saying? Did you watch the Diddy doc? You watch it? Nah, I didn't watch the Diddy doc. Why you didn't watch it? I watch TV. Why you didn't watch it? I don't watch TV. Nah, I really don't watch TV.
44:19Nah, I'm not cool with Diddy. Yo, listen, I don't even know Diddy. If it was me, you would go in on me. No, word of mother. Yo. That's what I hear about the rap. Yo, yo, yo, word of mother, yo, yo. Yo, yo, word of mother. Bobby wouldn't do you like that. Bobby wouldn't do you like that. He heard them allegations. Bobby wouldn't even be here. Yo, listen. I don't believe allegations. Bobby wouldn't even be here. He wouldn't say you're murder. Yo, murder me and you can sue. Yo, listen. Listen, I'm a gangster, bro. Listen, I don't believe allegations. I mean, allegations, whatever they call it, right?
44:48Gations. Allegations. How you saying it? How you saying it? Should've sounded no Diddy-us right now. Allegations. Allegations. Allegations. I don't believe that shit, right? Now the reason I don't believe that shit, why you a nigga that fuck wild bitches? Listen, why you a nigga that fuck wild bitches? People try you, you know what I'm saying? Facts. I don't gonna lie, Diddy's a nigga when he's a billionaire. And then those two bitches saying that, I'm like, my nigga, why the fuck you even recording this? Okay, but this is the point.
45:14Tony Yayo:This is the point, right? When you have a certain amount of money, we have responsibility, right? Even us, we have money, you got families, you got kids, whatever it is, right? You got your girls, you have your ladies. A nigga might have his lady, his wifey, whatever you want to call it, right? Rob Markman, My babies. Rob Markman, My babies. Rob Markman, Listen, if I make, look, your babies. If I make a billion dollars, I'm an invisible billionaire. You're not going to see me. So if you know you got money and the chick will sue you, you got AP on, AP's jewelry, a chick will sue you, you got the Bobby Smurda chain.
45:45Tony Yayo:Yo, I can come up with Bobby Smurda. You pick up the wrong chick on to her, yo, Bobby did this. even if she's lying, you might have a problem or you might lose some deals. So when you see a nigga like LeBron James, lovely wife, lovely family, standing house, we got more to lose than the chick that might be out to get something. I'm not saying nothing about, your ladies look loyal to you, they love you, but if you, if every day, one thing 50 told me, when you go on tour, every day you go out, you're meeting a stranger. That girl's a stranger in your room. You understand what I'm saying? It's not, you know, I seen niggas go take a shower.
46:22Tony Yayo:I don't know who he is though. I seen DJ Who Kid. I'm gonna take a shower. Had two chicks, chains gone. Out the door. What? Damn, Who Kid? You lying. They caught Who? That was the first time on tour. They caught my son, Who, yo, bitch caught me for two Louie bags. Bitch bought me two Louie bags and stole her back. So I don't think that's catching me. Was I catching it? She like, who the fuck? That's not kind of camera. You probably did something to piss off. She probably thought you really liked her and you was talking a little crazy. I got you with your big ass butt running out with the fucking bags.
46:49bitch. I said, yo, this bitch talking about who you think you are. I said, bitch, you know I was fucking bitches when I met you. Rob Markman Yeah, so you pissed her off. So I don't consider that stealing. She just took a gift back. Rob Markman They be tripping, bro. They start tripping. Some of them trips. Like these, I know them for a while. They don't trip. They cool. They grown. I'm saying the other ones, they be tripping sometimes. So I be, I'm saying I be, how you say, conspicuous? How you say, chilling? How you say that shit? I'm learning new vocabulary. Enlightenment through threads, baby.
47:14Rob Markman Listen, let me ask you a question, right?
47:16Tony Yayo:Let me ask you a question. Now, we Rob Markman, We in the business, right? We in the business where there's no sympathy for us, right? Rob Markman, Of course. Rob Markman, Of course. They hunting no sympathy. See, that is hunting. Rob Markman, Right? Rob Markman, They hunting us. There's a difference between no sympathy. Rob Markman, They want you. Rob Markman, They coming to get you now. They coming to get you now. Rob Markman, I was letting people know I'm on the phone now. Rob Markman, So listen, I was, no, but - Rob Markman, He coming upstairs right now, but I, boom. So it's two Jaws in my hood, right?
48:10Rob Markman, He know the other Jaws too. So I was selling crack with Jaws, but we was doing it right. You ain't selling crack till you really selling crack. Then I got with Ja, Big Ja, he taught me how to do it right. How to turn a ball into two balls, two balls or three balls to six balls and all this and that. Rob Markman, The other ones, we just on the same shit every day. You know what I'm saying? Niggas just smoking weed, sell whatever and they're just like, make, you know what I'm saying? That's all. Rob Markman, We even tell y 'all how to sell crack on this show. Man, the real report, you get a little bit of everything on this month.

The John Cena. Rob Markman, Oh, everybody love that. Come on, I still do that shit. Rob Markman, But everybody loves their dance too. Rob Markman, So like, how'd you come up with it? You just freestyle that? Rob Markman, Freestyle. I was freestyle. I'd be high. I dance on the - Rob Markman, She said I got a special dance. Rob Markman, Yo play that shit. Play that high nigga shit, man. Rob Markman, Yo she said I got a special dance that I do, show my special dance.
49:08What's the dance I do on top? Rob Markman, Yo see the new dance. Rob Markman, Yo see the new dance. what's the dance?
49:21Tony Yayo:I swear I don't care, he live his best life, man. Nah, he live his best life. You gotta love him. Yo, you ever think about getting into acting? You should take acting classes. I want to, I want to, bro. Comedy too, bro. You a funny motherfucker, bro. I tell people I'm the funniest motherfucker on the earth. They say I'm funny, you funny as a motherfucker. Listen, I was in a light-skinned pretty boy, you know what I'm saying? I was a dark-skinned guy. I have to laugh the girls out they pants, you know what I'm saying? I gots to laugh them out they pants, you know what I'm saying? I got to do what I gots to do, Pippin.
49:52He laughed y 'all out y 'all pants. That's how he got y 'all ladies. Make them giggle, you can make them wiggle. They say if you make them giggle, you can make it wiggle.

We got some cannabis brand shit going on. I'm about to go crazy for this summer. So I'm putting everything together so we can just drop that one time. Rob Markman - That's right. Rob Markman - And it could be like a 360 order where I ain't bouncing around anything.
53:27You know what I'm saying? Everything just one time, one movement. Rob Markman - Got you. Rob Markman - You know what I'm saying?
53:30Tony Yayo:Rob Markman - So you think you more of a hustler than a musician? Because it seems like sometimes you don't care about the music. Rob Markman - When I hear a hit record overseas. Rob Markman - I think more of a hustler, but the music is a hustle because it's still intellectual product. Rob Markman - Facts. Rob Markman - So I sell crack at the end of the day. Rob Markman - So as I said, we sell crack. We sell counterfeits. We sell crack. We sell motherfucking ether. We had anything. Crack was our main, I'm on Occupation. That's why Jaja never showed up things. Occupation. Occupation. My man been having me roll up.
54:00He said Jaja never showed up. Yo, I know what they be saying, but they don't know what I be saying. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? I told you, you didn't move me, bro. Listen, so that was our main, you know what I'm saying? That's what we used to make our bread and butter off for, you know what I'm saying? But we make$4 ,000 a day, all the type of shit we feed the whole hood. We had motherfucking bitches come from this hood, this hood, motherfuckers don't want to leave. Me and Jai, we live there, like there, because everybody else had like go home to their parents and shit.
54:27Jai was like, can you go with me? I was 14 and I was on the run. So I ain't had nowhere to go and Jai took me in. I'm like, nigga, these niggas, I'm like, y 'all niggas can't be tripping here because nigga, I got some sleep here, nigga. Tomorrow, the next day, the next day. You know what I'm saying? Jai ain't got no other crib go to. You know what I'm saying? Jai and Jai are the spot, nigga. We outside. We outside. I seen you do a vlog in the hood a while.
54:48Tony Yayo:I think, who was it? Where Adam? Was it Adam22? What? I seen you do something in the hood one time. It was like a property. You brought somebody. Oh yeah, yeah, yo, Adam22 went through the hood. Yeah, because they was talking on the internet. I ain't even want to do that really, but they talking on the internet. And I don't like to react to shit. You know what I'm saying? If I react to shit, then it's going to be a whole bunch of shit I'm going to stop to react to. He can't come over here. He can't come over here. So you like, oh man. Now I got to go so bad. I don't be wanting to do that because I overreact now.
55:14I thought, you know what I'm saying? So I don't want to let people push my buttons where they could define me. I remember when I was 25, a person told me, I used to be stupid. You say something, I'm like this, you know what I'm saying? But then when I turned 25, a nigga told me don't ever let a nigga define you. Don't let a nigga say something and make you jump up. Make you, how the fuck you make - Rob Markman, Get picked up your spot. Yeah, somebody like, they could play with your body, you know what I'm saying? Rob Markman, That's what I'm trying to tell you.

I told him that. I said, nigga, the niggas get tricked by all the laughing and the things, man. I remind niggas all the time. I remind niggas all the time. When I got out of jail, right? Rob Markman, Look, when Tony Yale got out of jail, I lived in Battery Park.
56:10Tony Yayo:Battery Park, where you see the Statue of Liberty, there's no garbage, little white kids barefoot, tourists are there, all the rich people, Asian, Asian, live by Battery Park. That's where 50 had us living. That's all I'm saying. Rob Markman, So with 50, if you was the sound with the unit, nah, we smoke duck, Morocco, Rob Markman 1 ,599, ponsel. I want to go to - Rob Markman 1 ,500. I want to go to - Rob Markman 1 ,500. You said you seen things from Cell. You went to see - Rob Markman 1 ,500. Nelson Mandela. Nelson Mandela. That's my illest experience in life. That's crazy. We went Johannesburg.
56:50Tony Yayo:We took a helicopter, went to Robbins Island. We went to the Cell that Nelson Mandela was in. We seen where they did the work at, where they made him do mad kind of shit outside. You know what I'm saying? it was political prisoners that blew shit up. Rob Markman It's crazy. I wanted to go, I wanted to, you know, the closest of shit I've been like that, I was in Tupac's cell. They put me in Tupac in the same cell when I was at IPC. They put me in Tupac, and then I was in Clinton. They be like, Tupac used to be in the cell. Then they put me in cell next to the old dirty bastard too. Like, them niggas used to be in that cell.
57:20I said, that was crazy and shit. And then when you told me that, I'm like, man, I want to go see how they had that nigga living over there. I want to see. That was 27 years? Yeah. Bananas. Niggas don't even know their history. 27 years?
57:31Tony Yayo:Yeah. And his cell was probably smaller. Smaller than bathroom doors. Damn. Yo, bro. When you think about that, being away for 27 years or for some shit just like, you know what I'm saying? Then come home with being the president. They call presidents out there, right? They got presidents in Africa, right? Yeah. Being the president, that's some crazy shit. Shout out to the names of Nelson Mandela. I could have met Nelson Mandela. I think the experiences, like the people you meet, like Jim Carrey watching his movies, Wesley Snipes. Rob Markman - I see y 'all niggas on, they be having a clip with y 'all niggas when y 'all had Jimmy performing.
58:05Rob Markman - Jim Carrey performing. I said, y 'all seen it. That was before my time.
58:08Tony Yayo:Rob Markman - Two people that I miss and never met was Michael Jackson and... What do you think? Michael Jackson and Nelson Mandela. Rob Markman - Because we was there, we could have went to the house. Rob Markman - Mine's is DMX. Rob Markman - You ever met DMX? I met DMX. Rob Markman - How was he? I would have loved to meet DMX. D from Rough Riders having me before, cause I used to be signed to Rough Riders way back in the day. What? Hell yeah, I remember they was shooting a video. You know what's crazy? D, I remember one time he showed us, I remember me and Ye-Ye was joking, we had Tracy Morgan on the show, but DMX knew how to do it like this, yeah?
58:39He had DMX cry like mad fast. He was like, yo, X, show them how you know how to cry. X did that shit like. Cry on demand? He just knew how to cry on the spot, like ASAP. Like real talk, he just - What do you mean he just knew how to cry? He didn't know how to cry. I guess that's what I'm saying. I didn't say - I need to learn that shit. I feel like that. If you cry out the man, drop his throat.
58:56Tony Yayo:I got to start laughing. If you can make it, they say, you know, cause I seen 50 do it, so it's like, you gotta think of something bad. Yeah, you gotta think of something deep, going deep thought. 50 do that shit too? Yeah. 50. Like any given time? 50's a good actor. Yeah, he can do that. He did that in front of us before. Murder can't do it. I get busy, man. You hear me? We ain't gonna talk about acting. We ain't gonna talk about acting. Wait, wait, wait. He always wanna leave that alone. Cause he always wanna leave that alone. They don't talk about acting. Hold on, hold on. I act way better.
