In short
DJ Envy and Uncle Murda discuss DJ Envy’s “car king” world—celebrity car gifts, his luxury/collector collection, specific cars on display (including stick-shift choices, airbags, and rare models), and how he organizes a family-focused annual car show with rides, games, food trucks, and celebrity participation.
Guests
DJ Envy (host; NYC car-show organizer and DJ; grew up in Queens, inspired by local dealers’ cars and DJ Clue) and Uncle Murda (rapper/artist; drives stick poorly in the episode’s “drive around the block” segment).
Key claims
Envy says his car show is designed to keep kids and parents entertained (jumpies, gaming, music, bike tricks, food trucks) and that he funds it himself. He claims many of his cars “hold value” or appreciate, often using battery tenders and only driving occasionally. He says rare models (e.g., Demon 170, limited 8 Series) are collector investments.
Notable examples
Cardi B Bentley Bentayga (orange, visible car seat), 50 Cent Ferrari that was allegedly stolen for hours, Offset’s earlier Lamborghini/Cullinan era, Impala police-style car, 1969 Camaro, 1970 Chevelle, Dodge Demon Redeye 170 (3,000 made), 1964 Impala being rebuilt after an accident, and Rolls-Royce “Dawn” (Europe-only; owned by Lil’ Kim).

2:54Tony Yayo:Yeah, it's the Talk of New York. And it's the boy, Ledjet, Lenny, whoa. And we with one of the Carl Kings, DJ Envy. Oh. Let's enjoy this. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh. So, Murda, I know you don't know a lot about Carl. Yeah, I don't. Y 'all got to put me on today, man. Yo, shout out to The Breakfast Club. Make sure y 'all watch them on Netflix. They doing big things. Shout out to the whole Breakfast Club. We with The Carl King, though, man. And when we talk about car shows, cars, we come to DJ Envy, man. He's one of the car kings in New York City, and we got to give it up to him, man. Any car that's on the road from old school to foreign, come on, man.
3:32Tony Yayo:And you know how his car shows is. BBS Boys, shout to the BBS Boys. Shout to the BBS Boys. And all the rappers that... Let's talk about your car show first before we get into cars. Let's talk about BBS Boys, 50 Cars, Snoop. Or just name all the artists that bring their cars. I mean, we've had everybody, of course, 50 Cent. We've had Cardi B. We've had Trina. We've had Killer Mike. We've had, I'm trying to think of so many. We've had Offset. We've had, damn, there's been so many. We had 85 South. We've had, damn, I'm trying to think of all the people. Just every celebrity, if you've got a dope car, nine times out of ten, you lend me your car.
4:06Push a T. We've had so many people.
4:08Tony Yayo:What did Cardi B send you? She sent me a Bentley Bentayga. It was orange. And people were more excited about that, not because she did customizations to the car. Because when they open up the back they actually see her car seat. It was like oh she really uses the car She gave me her Rolls-Royce Cullinan before her Lamborghini before Cardi got some toys, so she And Cardi the dopest man Cardi be like oh and you pull up to my crib and just get the car What offset what offset give you? I know they not getting along. This is before offset gave me a Lambo before he gave me a Cullinan before This is when they was together
4:46got his own but now they called me all you know whoever it is pusha t gave me a car we had to go get it um 50 cent you know of course fifth i mean fifth has given me like eight nine cars and the funny thing about fifth is fifth's car is just be sitting there like i remember his lamborghini we had to jump start because he don't drive it that much uh i know we went to one facility he was like his ferrari was there we were looking for like 10 hours can't find his ferrari it was stolen he know it was stolen it was it was there that long didn't know somebody stole the ferrari
5:15Tony Yayo:That's crazy. Just didn't even care, but that's fit for you. So where your love of cars come from? You know, I know you from DJing. Shout to DJ Clue, too. You know what I'm saying? You and Clue, y 'all kind of changed the game because, you know, before y 'all, it was blends and shit. Yep. But y 'all was like the first exclusive DJs from Queens, man. You can talk about that, too. How the mixtapes and the cars and Queens and everything co-exist for you. So Queens used to be this place called the Avs, Jamaica Avenue Coliseum. Shout to the Avs. Where all the buses kind of went to. I don't care what high school you went to in Queens or what elementary school, the buses went to this one place called Jamaica Avenue, Coliseum Block, right?
5:50Or behind the Coliseum. So you would run into kids from everywhere. I don't care if you went to Catholic school, if you went to public school, if you went to private school. You was with everybody there. You had to take a bus to get home or you took the dollar van to get home. And we would run into each other. And back then in Queens, you got to think, I grew up in kind of the crack era. So all the local drug dealers would have the craziest cars. And back then, it was about Honda cars. It was the BMWs, 3 Series, the 8 Series, the Benzes. And then every once in a while, you see something a little crazier than that.
6:19And I just remember wanting one of those cars. And that's kind of where my love came for cars. I was like, I want that car. And then as a kid, you'd be like, yo, that's my car. Yo, that's my car. And the story is, I knew Ernesto. Ernesto, me and you used to play basketball. We used to ride bikes through wheelies. And I didn't know him as a DJ. One day, I'm at the bus stop. It's freezing outside. And you know, you're waiting for that bus. And I see Ernesto pull up in his Honda Accord. I don't know if it was a Honda Accord or BMW. or BMW and I just ran over to the car. I'm like, yo, what do you do for money?
6:46He was like, come to my crib after work, after school and I'll show you. I'm like, all right. So after school, I went to his crib and I thought he was selling drugs. Knock on his door. His mom goes, I'm downstairs. I go downstairs. I start seeing records and this and plaques. And I'm like, what do you do? He goes, I'm DJ Clue. I'm like, Clue? Because at that time, nobody knew what he looked like. It was just the question mark. Exactly. And from there, I'm like, you do, Make money doing this he was like yeah, and I was like this is what I want to do and I just started doing it practicing ever
7:19Tony Yayo:Cool and what was your first car when you made your mixtape money now? Well, my first car was a 1986 Honda Accord I put rims on it and then he stole it then I bought a Nissan stanza that broke down Then I bought a Jetta Jetta was a shit then I bought a my Remember how she liked video when she pulled up with the both Jettas? With the both Jettas, yeah. Yep, yep, yep. I had a green Jetta. Then I had a Montero. Remember the Monteros? Yeah, the Monteros. Monteros Ford. The show for flipping over. Yep. Because a nigga in the hood flips one of them. Yep, yep, yep. I had a Montero. That's here, too. And then the first real car that I got was a Range Rover.
7:52I bought a Range Rover. And then from there.
7:54Tony Yayo:What year was that? Ninety what? Five? No, that was like 99, 2000 I bought a Range. And then from there. How do you feel? You had the 4.0 or the 4.6? 4.6 You know how good that felt? You know how good that felt? No, I'm just asking the first range, you know what I'm saying? And I remember the first part I did was it was about Starry City. I don't remember what the club was over there, but it was about Starry City. I remember pulling up. Yeah, I remember pulling up. This was wonderful. You used to manage me. Remember wonderful? One used to manage me. So one used to manage me. So I remember we pulled up to that club and it was just like, I like this feeling.
8:25And then from there it was a Bentley GT. Bentley GTC, Ferrari, and then just went from there.
8:29Tony Yayo:Yeah, I tried to tell Murda the rush of the car, just pulling up. Yeah, I got it. This might be my year at Billy Larn. You know what? I miss that feeling, though. Like, I miss going to the club, going to the spot, the Avenue, Harlem 125th, or Grant's Tomb, or downtown Brooklyn. I miss that pulling up and people just staring and looking at your car. We don't have that no more in New York. You still have that in Atlanta. You still have that in Houston. I know what you mean. But we need that back in New York, where you can pull up in a safe environment. Everybody can get out and just talk shit and chill.
8:56You don't have that no more.
8:57Tony Yayo:Yeah, every new car used to go. Queens, Harlem, Brooklyn. Everywhere. Everywhere. For the day. Yes. Yes, everywhere. Are we going to get into the cars now? Because we got this. Is this a drop three and a quarter? This is a drop M3. So this is what Biggie was talking about, Murda, when he said drop three and a quarter, electrical tape for your daughter. Old school, please. This is a 98. This is a 98? 98. So this is what Biggie was talking about. Yes. I didn't know that. I'm not going to even lie. I didn't know that. Yeah, this is stick shift. So three of these cars in here are stick shift. So stick shift is the reason My first car that I ever purchased Was a stick shift and the reason why back then It was cheaper to buy a stick shift right The automatic was more expensive I didn't have the money at the time So I had to learn how to drive stick And it's just one of those cars What was stick shift?
9:47My Jetta
9:47Tony Yayo:My first new car was a stick yeah so It was just one of those things that was cheaper to learn And it gave you that little extra power and then I kind of fell in love with it What made you do that because like driving with three pedals Is like crazy Stick shift I only knew Jamaican niggas for driving stick shit. Nah, it's just powerful when you can do it, because you can control when the gears change yourself. And not only that, it's like niggas ain't stealing this. Because 90 % of niggas don't know how to drive stick. Look at that. That's some funny shit right there. That's funny. Hell no. I don't know how to drive regular.
10:18Tony Yayo:I went to school where his brother drove stick. And that's Jamaican niggas I knew just drove stick shit. Don't know how to drive stick. So what made you want to collect this particular baby right here? You know, it was I love I love when I do these car shows. I have a little bit of every error. Right. So that's why if you look in here, you see muscle, you know, from the 70s, 69 muscles. You see the paid in for error. You'll see the brand new demon 170s. You'll see G-wagons that they only make in Europe. You'll see the, you know, the Impala SS that the police used to drive. And then you see some classes like, you know, I try to do a little bit of everything.
10:53Like my dad is from this era, the old Lincoln. Get this, y 'all. Get this. Get this. What year is this? This is a 67.
11:01Tony Yayo:You restored everything? This looked clean. We didn't restore it, but what we did is we just kind of did just enough with it that we could drive and really enjoy it. So like this is the - When you say restored, what you mean? Because I don't know the car language. So if you look at this, right, this is the old, old engine, old everything. so this is all original so we just add a little bit of it to just make it pop a little more like we know okay okay okay okay all right all right west coast and the east coast all right
11:39fire fire so this is called airbags and airbags is just the way to raise and lower so when this part it just looks me hydraulics make it jump up and down and all that other stuff this is airbags Yeah, so this is how you can do it. So when it's sick is sit low and everything looks perfect on the car when it's sick Mmm, that's airbags, but this is if you look at the engine. This is all this is from 67 So this is all a Rick. I'm get this fellas. I got to get that. This is all original All original all original everything's all original everything works, you know And then for this for the a lot of these old cars You got to create this little switch right here that unplugs the battery so that way when it's sitting it doesn't charge the battery so now it's your battery engaged when you plug it back there the battery's engaged got you so a car like this appreciates instead of depreciating yeah so i paid probably about 40 000 for this car a couple of years ago i got an offer for about a hundred bucks in look at that
12:35Tony Yayo:pardon me abby no he's right because he just told me about cars so when i say depreciate and appreciate it's like this car is not going to lose value you know what i mean but you can get a phantom And as soon as you drive up the lot, that's what I hear about this. You lose about a hundred grand. You lose about a hundred grand when you drive up the town. But if you pull this out, you ain't losing nothing. You brought this for 40 bands a couple years ago, and somebody already offered you 110 bands. But with the work you put into it, how much would you say after the 40 ,000 and the work you put into it?
13:03I really didn't put that much work on. I put some airbags on it, cleaned it up, repainted it, and that's it. Put some rims on it. I really didn't do too much to it. This is a show car. I mean, this is the car. The top goes down. People just love to sit inside and take pictures of it.
13:14Tony Yayo:People see, you could drive this on a Sunday afternoon, anywhere, Jersey. Long Island, the old folks will love it. Young folks, every generation is going to stop by and look at this. This is a cruiser. So this is one of them joints. But this one right here. Oh, yeah. Let's talk about the Demon. This is the Demon 170. But hold on. When we talk about Demons, because we got to explain the murder. You got, what, SRT, right? You got SRT. You got Hemi's. Hold on. You got Hemi and then Scat Pack. You got Scat Pack. You got Scat Pack as the Bumblebee. when you see the bumblebee you got hellcat and then you have demon dope then it's demon and it's demon 107.
13:50this the red eye well we would say red eye demon right now this one they only made three thousand three thousand models of this one that's it they only made three thousand cars okay so this will never lose value collector's edition this will never lose value this will never this is go to my son and my son is just probably selling it when i'm gone and probably make a couple hundred. Copy. All right. Gotcha. Yeah. So brand new. This is about one and a quarter, 115. If you could get it at sticker, they were selling at one time during COVID for like 200 ,000. 180. So we was blessed to get it at sticker.
14:21And I don't even think this car has maybe 30, 40 miles. This car is a Not even 30, not 30 ,000. You're talking about 30 miles. 30 miles on it. 30 miles on it. This car is a That's crazy. It's a trailer, baby. It goes on a trailer, goes to the car show, off the trailer, it right back in the city. Got you. Don't really drive. The only time you drive it is around the block to keep the fuel and everything going in the car. But this car doesn't go anywhere.
14:45Tony Yayo:And when he say he got 3 ,000, there's only 3 ,000 that's going to always... See, this is keeping value. This is keeping value. So these don't go anywhere. This right here, I'll be honest with you, the only reason I bought this car... Why did you get this car that used to harass niggas right here? Nah, this is Florida. I want to hear why he got the car. Because this is the police. Talk to me, Envy. No, it's not the police car. Yes, it is. This is the car that the police used to drive in. This is the police car. Thank you. This is the car that I know as the cop car as a kid growing up. The police used to pull up on us with this, right?
15:17The reason I got this is when I started doing the car shows and I started touching down south, I would pull up in a Ferrari and they wouldn't even care about my Ferrari. They would go to the Impala faster than my Ferrari. And I'd be like, nigga, that Impala is 30, 40, 50 grand. That Ferrari is 500. So I was like, you know what? Let me get one just to have one for the car show. So I'm like, you know, you know when you with your girl or with your wife, she watching reality television I'm always on the phone scrolling looking at cars. So this car right here has 3 ,000 miles on it Only 3 ,000 miles if you look inside it still smells fresh still smells good clean everything with it Oh, yeah, and this is this is another baby.
15:54I threw some big shoes on it But this is this ride good everything works is one of those ones. What year is this again? This is a 95 Impala the 96 has everything in the middle This has here on the side, but for 3 ,000 miles I couldn't I couldn't beat that and this and this car's appreciating to these cars Appreciate you we got a nice offer for this one too, but I ain't let me go
16:15Tony Yayo:Oh, what was somebody offer you for this about 90 90 ,000 damn I didn't know that And this is this one right here. My daughter actually bought me so my daughter paid Oh, shout out to your daughter for that woman. Look at that. Shout out to your family. You got a beautiful family Shout out to the daughter for that. That's what's up. So we showed you the capris. We showed you the D. She knew you wanted it? Yeah, she knew I wanted it. All right, that's dope. That's dope. So was you surprised? Oh, she's still paying for it. Grab a copy. She's still paying for it. She appreciating two to three and a quarter?
16:43Three and a quarter appreciating.
16:44Tony Yayo:How many miles is on this? This has 40 ,000 miles. That has 40 ,000 miles. It's crazy because every car is like totally different. You know what I'm saying? You got your drop three and a quarter. Rest in peace, Biggie. You got the young boy shit, the demons, all the young boys. Any young boy. Like, that's like the most stolen car, right? No cats in the demons. That is. Like that, he falls back. I don't go for that as much. Ferraris, Lambos, you name it, that car is the highest with insurance. Because it's one of the most stolen cars. Yeah, because the Demon is like the top of the crop. See, I got a Hellcat.
17:17Tony Yayo:You know what I'm saying? The Demon Red Eye 170 is like the top as you can go. Talk to me about these right here, man. So these, baby, you know, my favorite color is red. I like red. This red is just my color. I'm not gang-related. I just like this. Envy, not blood. All right? This is a 1969 Camaro, right? And you asked me before, you know, what's rest of them all? Did you change it? So this one, you see how old that engine is. But then you look at this one. All these cars is making the money. It's not losing money. See, we totally did this over. So this is new. All right. So this all came out.

17:53Oh, my God. Everything is replaced, redone. When you kick it, it starts right there. That chrome is crazy.
18:00Tony Yayo:I know you bring this one to the car. I drive this probably I drive this and this the most You just need me driving it regularly like you okay?
18:10So now when you say a swap what they do is they take a vet or Camaro engine and put it in here to make it run So these were swapped so now when you go these go you students you put the key in this shit and turn it There's no prize not like this Got you and it goes and these are beasts fast as fuck the chrome work. I'm gonna sit down. Mr. This course This is sick this car if I probably wanted to redo it now would probably be like 180 200 ,000 on this car right now And you ain't never selling this
18:43The good thing about these causes is sometimes you go to these car shows you run into different people You run in the old you run into young you run into black you run into white you run into Asian These two cars it doesn't matter who's there when they pull up. It's just like mouse drop. I want to see what it is
18:57Tony Yayo:That's why we do these car episodes, because I love cars. You know what I'm saying? Like you said, coming up in Queens, you know, when the GS first came out, when the Lex bubble came out, when the three and quarter came out. You know what I'm saying? And now you got old school, Cherry Red, sick Camaro, bro. Now this is the 1970 Chevelle. This is probably one of my favorites. Yeah. I've been for a long time to find this car. I found it. And this one, you did the same thing with. Ooh, what the fuck is that? goes this goes so over like a thousand yes over yep what about that one i'm supposed to last then this is this is faster than that one and you would say on the camaro how much horsepower maybe three four hundred no i'd say about five six five six and the hell and the demon forget about it the demon is just i don't even know what's on that demon how much this car from this whole setup right here i need to sit in this jar so this one right here was this was was about 160 probably worth about 200 now so it's like certain people i call when i'm into buying these cars because i'm not as familiar with the older cars.
19:58This ain't my era. I wasn't born with this. So I'll either call my pops or I'll call Carlos Miller from 85 South, so who's highly into cars, and he'll guide me with these. But this is, I love driving. My kids love when I pick them up. The only problem with this car, no seat belts in the back. So my kids be holding on to their life when they be in that.
20:15Tony Yayo:So many, because it got so much power. So much power. Show that engine again, bro. I got to look at that engine again, bro. This is ridiculous, bro. and the whole thing is murder you got to understand he's he's making money off the cars bro his car collection like who you look up to jay leno who's your car enthusiast because i know his garage is pretty sick you know what um a couple people one is the owner of essence his name is rich dennis black dude he live out in long island brother he's um he owns essence he used to own shea moisture when i say his car is a freaking animal his car show his his cars are crazy old new million dollar cars three million dollar cars this is crazy and you know who got a dope collection kevin hart oh seriously kevin hart got a dope car collection and he loves his cars and he restomods his car he has old new he has a dope dope dope dope dope collection i thought i thought jay leno was top of the crop though you know what jay leno i don't he got cool cars but i would say kevin hart represent us he's gonna do the that we're And above you talking about from Long Island that we could touch a little bit.
21:22Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've seen it. Yeah, yeah, we've seen it. I don't eat on this cool. And this is my last baby, so. Let's talk about this one right here. This one right here.
21:28Tony Yayo:Oh, yeah. Now, let's talk about this car, because a lot of people, Travis Scott got one. This is like an exclusive. How many of these is made? They really didn't make this for the States. Your S-Dot. Grab the key. What do you mean they didn't make this for the States? Name the rappers that got one. I know Travis Scott got one. So the first one to ever have this call for me to ever see was Lil' Kim. Oh, Lil' Kim had this. Yeah, Lil' Kim had this first. And I think she got it from, um... Brooklyn. What's homie's name? Producer. Scott Storrs. I think Scott Storrs. Scott Storrs, okay. So she was the first one to have it.
22:00They didn't make this in America. They only made it in Europe. So if you wanted it, you had to get it from Europe over here. Drop the top on that bitch. I'm about to. We move up a little bit. Let me move up a little bit.
22:19Tony Yayo:This the stunt right here. Get one of these, it's over.
22:26Tony Yayo:Here we go. Yeah, we gotta go for a ride in this one, bro. Oh yeah. See what's going on on the railroad part.
22:46Up, up, I don't Sit aside. Sit aside.
22:57Tony Yayo:This shit is knocking. How long? Chasing up. What you been lacing up. What I been placing up. Cause baby I'm all in my brain. Can't deal. When it comes to these bitches, they knew what I said. Yo, what's got in here? Two twelve. Two twelve? Dirty dishes. I'm trying to speak, bitch, to the switch play system. Why you stop on Melrose? I ain't hold shoes. I made me convenes by a number. So not every car got the system, though. Over there. I know you don't love me, I know you don't love me You like the sick boy Jay-Z, you like me I know you don't love me, I know you don't love me So this was like Backseat of my Jeep back in the day You know, the Suzuki Samurai So this is my version of Suzuki Samurai Yeah, I mean, Suzuki Samurai was the shit So I drive this car, so I drive this probably the most out of all of them And those two, but I drive this My daughter loves this car And this is the one we rock out for system rocking it's red guts red guts drop top system you put the system in there just because it's dropped off of course of course and then this is the last baby right here I call this the Knicks version right so this is Rolls Royce baby it's the dawn
24:14let's go next we in the playoffs right now let's go next so the thing with this right here is Rolls Royce and now they're not making a convertible probably the 2029 to 2030 right the spectrum which is the electric car which people don't love they like the actual gas car so of course they didn't they're not making it the prices of the dawns went up in price so this is my my my new york nicks version so this going this ain't losing value neither nah it's probably stay around the same because yeah because dawn is discontinued right yep perfect look at that i like that blowing armors let's go and how much this going for right now they run anywhere from i would say maybe 250 to 300.
24:52yo do you take your shoes off in here nah nah nah nah
24:55Tony Yayo:you ever you ever see them rich dudes yeah i'm gonna take this shoes off i take your shoes off nah man that's not doing it right you disrespecting rose royce murder kick off your shoes man get in here man disrespect the rose royce you gotta take your shoes off right carpet but you know envy got like 30 cars investment okay good investment we'll be smart with the cars we'll be smart with them huh i said we'd be smart with the cars but i tell everybody i'm not i'm never sold to a car like when i like when when when it's time to get rid of it if somebody offered me i'd get rid of them like if it's the right office out of here everything's a business move for me oh you'll get rid of all these if somebody give me the right money absolutely you want to laugh you know 50s uh lambo i've been trying to get him to sell that the longest time and one time that lambo he probably paid 400 for it one time it was probably gonna give him 700 he would not sell that now you know i remember one time he was talking to 50.
25:52did you get the virgin i didn't get the virgin why you didn't get the virgin i didn't get the virgin you know what the last virgin may back was in manhattan uh mercedes and the person they gave it to he was he was cool with virgin i mean i really didn't know virgin i was just wanted it just to have, but he was cool to diverge with me, so he got it.
26:11Tony Yayo:Talk about how them relationships get you them good prices, though. Relationships not only get you the good prices, it puts you on the list before anybody else, right? Because if I get the car six months before anybody else, everybody still wants that car. So you can get over for that car if you want to get rid of it. But the whole idea is just get those cars first, you know what I mean? And then when you want to get out of it after a year or two, you can still make your money back on it. It's the people that don't, that get in too late, you'll never get your money back. Now, all your cars, because we know Envy got 20 cars.
26:36Tony Yayo:Shout out to the Breakfast Club. I need some of that Breakfast Club money Netflix. I agree. I need some of that. I agree. I agree. What is your top five favorite out of all your cars? Out of the cars I have or the cars? No, the cars you have. I would say the G-Wagon convertible. I just like that because every time I drive it nobody knows what it is. Hey, what are you? Did you do that? Nah, that we got it like that. I'll say that's number one. My number two, I would say the Chevy Chevelle Convertible. That 70 Chevelle is just a mean look. Then I would go with the Camaro. That 69 Camaro is just different.
27:07So this is your top five.
27:09Tony Yayo:You said? One, two. One right here. Two, three. Another car that's not here, that's in the shop right here. You know, all the Envy cars ain't here, by the way, people. One of my other cars is the 850 CSI. So that's the old 850. It's a 94. It's a stick shift. So they only made, I think, 1 ,100. I think only 600 came to the States. It's black. You remember the old 8 Series with the flip-up lights? Of course. So I have that. That's in the shop right now getting worked on because it is car show season. That's probably one of my favorites, 2-4. I would say number five. It's crazy you said the 850. 850 CSI.
27:42Tony Yayo:What's the difference? So the CSI was a limited version that gave you more power and was stick shift. Oh, shit. So it was stick shift. So that one. And I would probably say my last one was my Impala, my 1964 Impala. I bought it to the last car show And the driver driving it Got into an accident and it flew off It flew off My 64 and Pala had everything on it So we rebuilding that now That would be my favorite How the fuck that should be like that You let a nigga drive your car at the car So he crashed his shit He was traveling, he was carrying his truck At first I was pissed But you gotta think of it, he didn't mean to do it on purpose He was driving the cars up there, shit happened he got insurance so it was able to be covered but it was just one of those things like when you know when i do these car shows and i go city to city i'm putting all these on trailers you know i mean and you just hope that they make it there safely um and out of all the times we sent that now was the only time there was an issue or problem but shit happens but we're working on it make it better now what does it take because i've seen your car shows you know i'm saying just to the point where you know i remember flex had car shows i remember unique auto sport had car shows shout to them too and now it's like it's all about DJ Envy now.
28:51Tony Yayo:It's like nobody does car shows, but it's like just only you. And every turnout, Atlanta, New York City, Jersey, like what does it take to put the car show together? Tell the people about the work, the calls you got to make and get these big artists like Rihanna Card, Cardi B Card, 50 Card. So that's why this office is here. So if you walk on the other side, you see the office of where we work. But, you know, I wanted to create a show unlike all the other car shows because everybody does car shows and I salute to all of them. But the difference with mine is I got six kids So when I bring my kids to the car show after 10 minutes, they're like I had that I seen a red car seen a red car I want to go home.
29:23So I was like well, what's gonna make kids want to stay? What's gonna make parents gonna want to stay so let's kind of do it like a fun car show. What does that mean? Alright, well, let's bring rides activities games shit like that for kids So now kids want to stay there all day. There's jumpies. There's rides. They're riding. They're gaming. Your son and my son is gaming Your daughter my daughter's jump roping. So now it's like oh now they want to be there a long time Then we bring the music aspect. You got a DJ DJ and makes it fun. Monster Energy, salute the monster. They're a sponsor. So they got the bikes.
29:51You see the bikes somewhere. Oh, see the bikes. So they be coming in and do tricks with the bikes.
29:54Tony Yayo:Big things, man. Monster. Yeah. They do tricks with the bikes. Then we got the cars. We got all the dope cars, the new cars, the old cars. Then what takes it to another level is like, now I got Uncle Murda's cars. Uncle Murda fans like, y 'all want to see what Murda drives. Oh, where are you driving at? Well, I got Yayo car. I got Yayo car. I want to see what Yayo drives. All right, cool. And then it's just like you're getting celebrities cars from different regions. Like, I mean, we've had everybody's cars that you could have named, from Michael Strahan to you name it. And so now you've got celebrities.
30:25You've got dope cars. You've got kids' activities. You've got stuff for women. And then we bring the food trucks out. So then now it's like we bring a taste of what we do. So it's like we've got Caribbean food on this side. We've got soul food on this side. We've got Spanish food on this side. So now it's just like a whole fun day. And it just makes it dope. and people love it and we get anywhere you know we'll get 10 000 17 000 people out there just for
30:47Tony Yayo:a car show damn look at that that's dope man that's dope so when is the next car show when is the next car so the next car show we're doing is we got a couple lined up but the one i can tell you all about is going to be july 24th that's going to be in virginia hampton virginia of course i went to college in hampton so that's like my second home so we always out there so they show me a lot of love last year we get about 15 000 people so we're going to see this year we're going to do new jersey and we're going to do New Orleans. We're going to do New Orleans, and then I think we're going to do Atlanta.
31:14Okay. We're going to do four this year. That's five. And how long have you been doing this? I would say about maybe, this must be my sixth or seventh year. Okay. And it's all me. So it's not like I got big corporations behind me. Nah, I have to put out the money. So I'm paying for the venue. I'm paying for transportation, hotels, flights, because we know ours is different. We got red carpets, the games. We're paying for all that. So, you know, we try to make it affordable. We do kids five and under are free. And the first tickets we put out are$19.99 because we really try to get people that can't afford it to come out.
31:47Just have a day with your kids, you know what I mean? Have a good time, you know.
31:50Tony Yayo:And talk about the responsibility of having these big stars' cars, man, what it takes. It's like you got a Michael Strahan car. Like, you don't want to get scratched and dented. Yeah, so we had two incidents with cars, right? One was Fifth Car, right? And I don't know if it was my fault or somebody else's fault. because you know when they deliver it fifth is so he's such a guy that's like yo anybody take my car so you'll be driving people be driving this car so when he came there the whole window system wasn't working but i can't call fifth and be like yo fifth they brought the window fucked up i said i use your car for my car show so i had to fix it so i took it to to lambo oil change fix it they were like 3 500 i was like but what you know what do you do at that point because he gives you his car for nothing so you just got to fix it just just eat it yeah all right cool uh and i never even told him i i did that i think one day he went for a service it was like yo there was a problem my window i was like yeah window was broke so i'll fix it but that's the thing and then push the t push the t gave me his ferrari a couple years ago and when they were delivering it it kind of fell off the lift had to fix that whatever that was like seven eight grand got to eat that you know so those are the only two things everything everything else we were clear never I had no problems with issues with car.
33:01The craziest person to give me a car was French Montana. He gave me his$1.3 million Bugatti, right? French had that Bugatti sitting outside in L.A., window down, and he just went on tour. Rain, the elements, all that. Car was fucked up. So he gave it to me. So he picked it up. So the guy, I remember, went to pick it up. He's like, you know, this car don't start. I'm like, Nick, it's a Bugatti. You better bring that shit. So we brings it so we guess here, you know, I got everybody here. They help me So we started jumpstart and we driving the shit. I'm like, oh, this shit is cool. Turn it off Shit stops again.
33:37I'm like we had to push the Bugatti, but we got it working this time I'm gonna set that shit right back to French first take this Bugatti You know these rappers are so rich that cars just sit around and get dust on them, man
33:48Tony Yayo:It's like you had dust on the demons You right, but you know what it is is everybody's on the road and on the tour So it's like they don't even think about it. They just leave the cars there like I know Cardi had Cardi got a Lambo. I think Cardi had that Lambo in the garage for six years. Dang. I think it got maybe 500 miles on it. I know for a fact she didn't plug it in on a battery attendant. I think Cardi just left his deuces. But it is what it is. I mean, if you're grateful to own one of those cars, it's just dope. But, you know, I just want everybody to treat their cars better. But when you don't drive a car like that, right, that's going to be true.
34:19Tony Yayo:It keeps its value. No, it's keeping its value. I mean, it doesn't matter. A dope car is a dope car. But you want to keep the cars on the battery attendant. You want to keep them running because you want the oil, you want the gas, you want all the fluids to run through that system. But once they just sit there and stay, it messes up the pipes, roads, all that stuff. So you want it to be moving. So with these cars, it's like, if you see, all of them are on battery tenders. And then maybe once a month, I just drive them around the block. Just drive them around the block, pick up my kids from school, come right back.
34:47You know what I mean? And, you know, it's my enjoyment. It's something that I just enjoy. You know what I mean? It's like some people play video games. I don't play video games. some people whatever but my enjoyment is taking out a car and driving that's that's my you know
35:00Tony Yayo:we from queens man i'm a car dude here something car lover that's why we do these car episodes unfortunately murder can't drive nothing today which is crazy too expensive you know i mean we don't want him to i drove the caddy was about 150 that but i don't anybody yeah but you're not driving that's 350. he might not trust me driving one of his cars that cause 350. you're definitely not driving a demon you ain't driving none of these bro you might be right you know what i'm saying It's the real report another car episode I don't see the car test driver Listen it's the real report Listen he ain't test driving Nothing over here Listen it's the real report another car episode With the car king Before we close out I'm gonna pull this one out We're gonna let murder drive that one Which one this one right here?
35:42Yeah this one right here I'm gonna let murder drive that I'm gonna let murder drive it One time around the block I'm gonna let murder drive it
35:49Tony Yayo:I don't think we should do that You know now now and I'm gonna put yeah, yo in the demon one set. Oh
36:01That's how you know they my cost really not running come many of you got my car So we're gonna pull all these bitches out and let them drop right the block we go cross our fingers We'll cross our fingers

48:29We was talking about in the next 20 years, he's giving this to his son.
48:35Tony Yayo:Right now, this is for your son. Shout out to your old family. Beautiful kids. You know, wonderful family. In the next 20 years, this could possibly be worth like 500. No less than three. Come on. I think so. So I'm being careful driving this. I'm good on that side.
48:57Tony Yayo:Whew! Feel like that's just a tap of the pedal. It's ready to go. You let this car go, and then you can just air it. Word. This is crazy.
49:15Tony Yayo:Oh, my God. This is ridiculous man. This is ridiculous. Just a tap of the pedal and this shit is blind bro. This is ridiculous bro.
49:32Tony Yayo:Make a left up here right? Make a left up. Shit. I'm chilling. I ain't even playing around with this. My God.
