2:23Terms apply. There's no Rick Ross not smacking nobody. We saw you in Canada, brother. We saw you run on your peoples and all that. We know you not about that. We seen you run on your peoples. We know you saw, my brother.
2:56All right, stop it for a minute, stop it. Nah, let it keep playing, let it keep playing. Y 'all wanna see all this shit. Let it play. But we seen, we seen, we seen enough. I wanna see some more though, let it play. Let it play.
3:04Tony Yayo:Nah, nah, nah, but stop it, cause I got something to say. The volume is now like Death Row Records, y 'all. And this is why I'ma tell y 'all that. I never thought it would be like Death Row Records over there, I love the volume. Shout out to Hard Rock Betting, shout out to everybody that adds on the show. I love all you guys. So you got Rick Ross on Joe and Jada. You got Ross telling Mal to you know what and his mom's, which is crazy. It's crazy to a point. I don't talk about nobody's mother. That's just not me. I mean, that's me. Then you got him dissing the G unit and my man Murda on there. But to me, Rick Ross jokes is getting dry.
3:42Tony Yayo:Murda cleaned my boat. Yeah, mow my lawn. I just don't care about none of that, bruh. Rob Markman - And you know Rick Ross not smacking nobody. You know what I'm talking about? I'm mad at somebody's - Smackin 50. We saw you in Canada, brother. We saw you run on your peoples and all that. We know you not about that. We seen you run on your peoples. We know you soft, my brother. BET Awards, right? When the shit happened with Jeezy, I was there. I was backstage. It was only a few good men. This is when the gunplay got his chain took and all that. There was a few good men there. I'm not gonna keep saying names to be federal on here, but there was a good few men there and was not traveling the night.
4:19When Rick Ross walked by me and a few good men, because it was like maybe five of us,
4:25Tony Yayo:and this is when 50 is going back and forth with Diddy backstage. Nick, Nick, Nick, Nick. They going back and forth. 50 told, I think that's the day he told French, Meek is better than you. 50 was just wildin' that day. There was a lot of shit going on. But Ross walked right by me. Smack got the video. He just don't want to put it out, because I don't know why, for political reasons. Rob Markman - Smack put the video out, nigga. Nick Taylor - Smack got the video. He walked right by me. They said, what up? They had like 30 niggas with them. And I'm like, what up? It wasn't like, we done never traveled light, so he know it's not like that.
4:56Tony Yayo:But now the volume is definitely like Def Row. I don't know what's going on. Shout to the volume. Let's talk about the Drake shit now. Rob Markman - Yeah, but Ricky Rosetta, your punk ass, a nigga punch him in the chest, he might have a season, man. Rob Markman - Yeah, definitely, man. You seen what happened to him in Canada. Shout to them boys. Shout to them Canada boys in Canada boys. Rob Markman - Press up, Bundall, Drake, OVO, the album is out right now. Three albums, Iceman, Made of Honor, and how I pronounce the last name, Habidi? Habidi. Habidi. I'm going to keep it real. Iceman, I took a lot of notes.
5:27Tony Yayo:I like Iceman. He had a lot of lines. I felt like he was mad. He took shots at Kendrick, DJ Khaled, A$AP Rocky. You think Rihanna too? He said your baby moms didn't post a single. J. Cole, LeBron James, Rick Ross. I like the Rick Ross line a lot. You know what I'm saying? I like Rosetta. Listen, I like the Rick Ross line a lot because even when they did their verses, you heard the crowd sing Drake in the beginning. You seen the energy. They played that Drake. You know what time it is. Well, you say he was A in Ross with streams before A in Ross with streams. Every time we think Drake is going to fail, right?
6:05Tony Yayo:Because he been in the game for 16 years and usually an artist has a time where it stops. He comes back all the time. Now he dropped three albums and is going to pass Jay-Z the money he made overnight. Allegedly, he got out the deal. Them three albums was for him to get out the deal. And he got$2 billion on the table waiting for him right now. So listen, he's surpassing Jay-Z overnight. He's surpassing a lot of rappers overnight. What Drake just did was incredible. It's not glazing. He got classic shit on him on the album. Then he just break a Michael Jackson on his way. He had number one records on Spotify.
6:41He crashed Spotify.
6:42Tony Yayo:He did crash Spotify and Apple Music that day for a year. He broke records on Spotify, Apple Music, everything. He was debuting with around 13.2 million streams on one day on global Spotify. Just to keep that in mind. I mean, with three whole albums, right? What do you guys think about it? Do you feel like that's what artists got to do now? They just drop all their projects, get out of their label. I feel like Make Em Cry felt like a big record, because I believe it had the Biggie drums on there. I think it had some of the biggie drums on there. And he talked about his father had cancer. So the lines felt like when Big said, my mama had cancer in the breast.
7:22Tony Yayo:Iceman is definitely the hottest album of the summer. What else? What else I listen to? Because I listened to the whole first album. I didn't get a chance to listen to the third album. I remember you was saying that too. I don't know. Rob Markman - Yeah, I feel like that was - Rob Markman - It was too much to listen to all of it right now. I'm really kind of stuck on Iceman at the moment. That was where a lot of the real raps came through. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm stuck on Iceman right now. I ain't gonna hold you. There was another song, Dust on the Plaques. I like when he said, I mean, he was like, yo, in Atlanta, I'm like Santa.
7:50Tony Yayo:It just sound like he was just mad with crazy fucking bars, bro. You know what I mean? He was mad at everybody. Cause you know, in a game there is really no friends, bro. Let's keep it real. Everything is - I like how he was saying names too. Like no games. He was saying the names. I like that, man. Yeah, he was saying the names. He said DJ Khaled name. ASAP Rocky, he didn't really say his name, but he said your girl in potion single. LeBron James, he got crazy. What did he say about LeBron again? Come on, Drake. You know LeBron, my God, man. What did he say about 23? Come on, LeBron to go. He got that, LeBron.
8:18Come on, Drake. They started putting old footage of him and LeBron together.
8:21Tony Yayo:What did he say about LeBron again? That he can't forgive J. Cole. J. Cole ain't calling back. Sorry. All right, ready? So this is an ad right here. So he said, I shouldn't even be shocked to see you in that arena because you always made your career off of switching teams up. So you talking about when LeBron was at that Kendrick concert, right? That's when LeBron was at that Kendrick concert. Yeah, he said, please stop asking what's going on with 23andMe. I'm a real and he's not. It's in my DNA. And then, you know, he got big features on there. He got Molly Santana. I think they said she's signed to Roc Nation, I believe.
8:53Tony Yayo:They said her and Nicki's kind of beefing right now. I don't know what's up with that. I don't know how true that is. He took shots at Joe Bunn too? Rob Markman, Yeah, he took shots at Joe Burns walking around naked, they said. Rob Markman, Joe Burns saluted it though. I heard Joe Burns like it's Drake time. He said, everybody got to respect it. He said, Joe Burns said, Drake coming back, taking shots at everybody. He said, y 'all had y 'all time. Everybody was happy when Drake was down. And now Drake back popping. Rob Markman, It was a genius move because the first album was just like, yo, let me diss everybody.
9:24Tony Yayo:You heard Ed? You heard Merck? The first album was like, yo, I'm going to diss everybody. Like that's when he just had diss records all day, crazy punchlines, Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust, everything, Make Em Pay. Rob Markman Make Em Pay, oh my God. Rob Markman Yeah, he did the Akineli, Free Joinover. It's crazy. He was dissing everybody on there. Everybody took shots. He took shots at everybody and I mean, I just feel like it was a dope album production. It was crazy. Name some of the producers on there, because they had a list of the producers. It was like, I know Tate Key was on a lot of stuff.
9:55Tony Yayo:40 of course It was just crazy man 21 Savage on there He got Future on there Boy Wonder Yeah a lot of people He got a lot of producers on there Him and Future dropping They dropping the record They beef squash So that's what I was going to ask you guys How do you feel about that I know you already talked about The fact that That whole beef is gone Now they're officially on the album Was this enough time For all that shit to kind of Wear out For something y 'all can make up What you mean? Yeah, I feel like - Rob Markman - With them two, I don't think they driving was never really, I don't know, people never really - Rob Markman - We never knew what it was about.
10:32Rob Markman - What they issue - Rob Markman - I think it was more -
10:34Tony Yayo:Rob Markman - I think people just looked at it, this is the way I look at the whole Drake Rob Markman - Like Future was just riding with Metro Boomer. Rob Markman - I look at the Drake situation - Rob Markman - Set out the Future Metro Boomer too, those my guys. Rob Markman - Look, I never got a Drake record or never, I don't want a Drake record. Drake is the biggest artist, I'm podcasting, I'm not rapping right now. You understand, I just do it for the sport. Rob Markman, he's still rapping. Rob Markman, now listen. Rob Markman, he's still rapping. I'm still rapping. Rob Markman, he's rapping.
10:54Tony Yayo:He got to deal with Empire. Shout out to Empire. They cut me a check, I start rapping like that. Besides that, no check, no raps. I'm a kid. So for me, right, I look at it like this. Drake did a lot of favors for people in the game. He brought Kendrick on his tour. He gave Ross a whole bunch of hit records. He gave Wayne hit records, which was, Wayne got money off him. He helped a lot of rappers in the game. Rob Markman, Wayne brought him in the game too. Rob Markman, Wayne brought him in the game. Rob Markman, Yeah, he had hit records with Future, 21 Savage. Come on. We can't say that Drake ain't the number one MC.
11:26Tony Yayo:And what he do, instead of dropping one album like we thought he was going to do, he dropped three, got out his contract. And like I said, it's like he's almost blown past Jay-Z overnight. Or Dre and them, they all billionaires. You know what I'm saying? So it's like, get a two billion dollar deal, you could believe that. That's believable from Drake. Rob Markman, With all that you're saying right now, would you say this is a career saving move? I feel like it's a great game of chess. He was playing chess, not checkers. He shitted on Universal. He told, what's the guy named Lucien? I'm the golden goose, nigga.
12:00Tony Yayo:Shitted on that nigga. Played chess. And one shit, he shitted on Jay-Z. He's like, nigga, I don't want the 500 ,000. I'd rather take the 500 ,000 in a dinner. He talking about Jay. Then he said, yo, y 'all niggas are going to Jay. I know Jay going to come back or something. That was slick. He said, y 'all go to Jay-Z for the second opinions. He was getting that niggas crazy on that shit, bro. Rob Markman - He was talking crazy. Rob Markman - We can't keep it real. We got to keep it real. So the first album was dissing niggas. And then to me, the second album was crazy. Why I made an honor? Because that shit is just straight for overseas hits.
12:32Tony Yayo:Rob Markman - A lot of dance music. Rob Markman - Who we had on there? Pop Kind. Who else? Rob Markman - Central C, Sexy Red. Rob Markman - He had Central C, Sexy Red. Rob Markman - I listen to all them records right there. Rob Markman - Yeah, Stunna Sandy. Rob Markman - Cheetah Print. Rob Markman - The joint was Central C. Rob Markman - He put Stunna Sandy on the map. between them two albums, Drake, we need you on the show or we come to Canada. You've got love for you, Drake, OVO. I already gave Academics a$200. Chobbs, what up, Chobbs? He gave Academics a$250 ,000 chain. He in the video, so Academics, shout to you.
13:01Tony Yayo:Business is business. You know what I mean? But I didn't even get a chance to get to the third album. You know why? Because the first two was so dope. Yeah, I'm still stuck on ice, man. Listen, the second one was just for overseas, I feel like. Australia, Germany, Spain, Italy, Paris, Africa. It felt like that's Jamaica. It felt like that's a dance hall vibe thing he did with that. And Drake is a genius. Three albums at one time, Takeover the Summer. Honestly, shout to Lucky, because Lucky dropped the album. I want to get him on the show. I know you about know about Lucky. My kids love Lucky. And he was number four on the charts.
13:41Tony Yayo:So was it smart for him to drop when Drake dropped? Because now you're like, fuck it, I'm going to get Lucky shit too. Shout out to him. Make sure you're copped the album. Rob Markman Thanks. Shout out to Lucky. Rob Markman You know, so that was kind of good marketing because somebody would be like, yo, should I drop when Drake dropped? Rob Markman I know a lot of people thinking about not dropping them. Rob Markman Well, three, I mean, three whole albums. Like, that's insane. We're talking about a lot of tracks here. Rob Markman Definitely. But Lucky was still what? Number four on the charts?
14:04Rob Markman He did it to get out his deal, man. So you got to respect it. You get to get out the deal that he got them two B's on the table.
14:10Tony Yayo:I mean, but the whole thing is was the albums were dope. No facts. That's the whole thing. He didn't put out music that was mid. All the music was crazy. The production was crazy. You can't. Everybody going to be riding to Drake the whole summer. We didn't even get to the, like I said, the first album dissing everybody. Yeah, I'm still stuck on Iceman. I ain't even get to really check out the other ones. That's what we want. I'm still just stuck on Iceman. That's the benefit, right? Yeah, facts. You got time for all that. And you know Drake gets slippery. You know, he get crazy, man. Know what I'm saying?
14:38Tony Yayo:Your baby mom ain't posted single. That's crazy, bro. He be saying a lot of crazy... He got some crazy lines, bro. Kill Khaled, kill Ross. I heard what he said. That's why Ross was upset. I was Aiden Ross with streams before Aiden Ross had ever streamed. That was crazy. I didn't even catch up by surprise. Because you got to know when Drake... And Officer Ricky about to drop an album. You got to think about this. His shit going double wood. That shit going double wood. But this is what you got to edit. He ain't going to make no noise when that shit drop. Yo, look. Me and him had to talk about this, right?
15:07Tony Yayo:But it was about another artist, right? When Drake diss you, your kids got to go to school and hit that shit. Your kids are saying a line when your son is walking down the hallway or your family, yo, you heard what Drake just said? He got that much power that them diss his whole weight. It's different. Rob Markman It don't just end on the internet. Rob Markman Man, that man played chess. He waited for everybody, kept quiet, seen everybody flipped on him, and he just came out with like a... Rob Markman Yeah. Rob Markman Just dissing everybody the whole album. That's what make Iceman crazy because he's dissing everybody.
15:41How long do you wait to drop another piece after dropping three whole albums, though?
15:45Tony Yayo:When you get that first billion, nigga. Of course. If he working on that type of deal, shit. He got a whole bunch of shit to talk after he secure that paper. Right. But they ain't even going to stress him. That's Drake. Drake is a machine now. He's bigger than what Universal is. I think Kendrick is big like that, too. But now what Drake did is he mastered the game. I'm dropping three albums. Fuck Universal. I'm Lucian's Golden Goose, nigga. I'm catching as much stunts as I can. I'm Iceman. I'm buying the most jewelry. I'm showing the cause. He fretting. I'm out this deal. And you heard the song with 21 Savage.
16:25Tony Yayo:Billions on the table, nigga. It's crazy. Let's talk a little bit more about other features, right? So now Vlad and Boosie are making the runs again on the webs, right? Right. So Boosie did have a reaction towards all this. And then apparently another outlet, Say Cheese, was offering about 15K for an interview. He refused that. But not only did he refuse that, he apparently upped it from 25K with Vlad to 40K. I mean, Boosie do what he want to do. Shout to Boosie. I ain't mad at him. I mean, you know, I'm not mad at him or Vlad. That's their agreement. it. But at the same time, you know, if he's getting 25 ,000 from Vlad, I might, he might not want to take 18, 15 from somebody.
17:07Tony Yayo:But you know, we all hustlers. Money is money, man. Go get the money while you, you know, you still out there able to get it. That's the way I see it. But some people might, yo, that's not my price. And they don't want people to think that that's your price. At this point, would you say that the artists are helping the platforms or the platforms are helping the artists? It's both. You can't, you can't, because without the artists, it ain't no platform. You know what I'm saying? And also the platform do give the artists a place to express theyself and help get theyself viral and things of that nature.
17:34So -
17:34Tony Yayo:I really think it's the person because everybody don't watch, like Boosie is like one of the most watched online, him being himself. You know what I'm saying? He's one of them guys that go viral all the time. Either he's at the game having a good time, he's with a pretty lady in his car, he's at his mansion, his King Corso biting a nigga. He just make his life a movie. He's just funny all the time. And right now him and Vlad is monetizing off the shit, so shout to both of them. Rob Markman, Right. Rob Markman, You know? Rob Markman, We can also get into some other type of costs as well, right?
18:09So we did talk about AP and Swatch having to collab. Rob Markman, Shout out to AP. Rob Markman, Oh, wait, wait. So you celebrating here for them?
Read the full transcript
18:16Tony Yayo:Rob Markman, No, it's a good move and I'm going to tell you why. Rob Markman, Okay. Rob Markman, I'm going to tell you why it's a good move because now - Rob Markman, Because remember, now they're not a - They're not official like wristwatch. They're busy pocket watches. But now when we looked outside, we talked about it over the weekend. And when the AP and Swatch collab dropped, the lines was out the door. Show murder. The lines was out the door. People was camping out. They're on Berkham's now. Girls are putting it on Berkham's. It's a good look to have that little watch hanging, the little AP hanging off the Berkham.
18:44Tony Yayo:That's a good assessment. I don't know if it's a good look. I mean, to me it is. I'm not going to say that. So why? Why do you think it's not a good look, Murda? I don't know. I mean, because it's still, you know, you know, you know, the price of it is only three, four hundred dollars. Now, even though I did see some hustlers reselling it now, I heard some people was out there reselling it for about three thousand, four thousand. This is the slight pushback I'll give you. I'm curious to what you think about it. This is funny as hell right here. I saw this. Mad people are online, but they they're reselling it.
19:14Right. and I got to do a little research on StockX. They're reselling for almost$3 ,000. That's a W no matter what for you. You got to respect the hustle.
19:26Tony Yayo:So we looked at it like certain people might look at it like it don't make no sense, but other people are looking like, yo, it's going to be limited edition. So whoever get it, them guys, show the lines outside the store. People thought that, right? Look at that. No, Murph, look. But you can bring it up, right? It's an article. they thought it was gonna be something where it's limited but they gonna keep making these shits right oh but not for now it went from 3 ,000 to 4 ,000 now motherfuckers only selling it for 1 ,200 and then the gig is about to be up you gonna see in a minute they ain't gonna be able to resell them shits for nothing we'll see what's the price up there?
19:58I'm showing the fellas if you're not watching the stock X prices let's say for this blue one this bio ceramic it's 2 ,700 someone's listing it and that was only 300 to begin with? yeah Yeah,$1 ,700 for some,$1 ,814 for the red, $1 ,200 for the kind of white, weird blue. I mean, if you went and got those for$400, you flipped them for even more than$1 ,000. It's a good hustle move. But now, is that worth potentially kind of hurting your pants?
20:30Tony Yayo:It depends if somebody wants it that bad, bro. It's limited edition right now. The guys that stood outside on the line, y 'all are geniuses. Y 'all are hustlers. This is why I love New York. Y 'all bought it for$300,$400, whatever it is And y 'all triple the price on StockX And somebody who'll buy it when they want to Did you guys see that there was a couple of places By the way Yeah, exactly You fighting over a$300,$400 wide set Play it, play it They was fighting this You saying it don't make sense when it makes sense But they fighting over that shit? I don't think that makes no sense So that's what I was going to ask you guys Because they had releases in obviously New York, Paris, Milan, Dubai A lot of other major cities, right?
21:07A lot of lines got shut down And kind of messed it up For a lot of other people I'm trying to find a good fight For y 'all to check out Really quick You know YouTube Is not going to like that But is that corny To be fighting For some Quote on quote Luxury jewelry This happened in New York City Yeah Just another day At the office Word They did it for Jordan We in New York City man They did it for a chicken sandwich Yo this is New York City bro I forgot we did do that Over Popeye's chicken right They was going up crazy Over the Popeye's chicken
21:33Tony Yayo:It don't matter It's New York City bro A chicken sandwich sandwich. So what are we getting in? A Chud the Bodybuilder courthouse shooting breakdown. So he shot in front of the courthouse? So no, no, no. This is the courthouse. He got shot, right? Yeah. Well, yeah. So where did this happen? In front of the courthouse? So this happened in a shooting outside of Montgomery County Courthouse in Clarksville, Tennessee. This happened on May 13th, right? Apparently he got into a whole verbal thing with somebody. He was asking for it. And the blick came out. For the longest. Chud the Bodybuilder, there's something called karma and you have received some bad karma, bro.
22:09Tony Yayo:You know, if he would have came to New York, he would have got gunned down in two seconds because people was getting tired of him anyway. And he was going viral. And I think Kik or whatever the streaming service he was on should have been ending him because anybody who spew out hate like that is just bugging out. Now, I mean, if you don't know about Chud, he's a gentleman who had a lot of controversy around him. Yeah, he was online going viral. Throwing the hard ER everywhere. He was calling everybody the N-word. Then he was pepper spray. Some girl exposed him and all that. Rob Markman, yeah. But in New York, some way worse would've happened to him.
22:38Tony Yayo:He never came to New York down there. I think he was getting away with a lot of stuff, because, you know, like he did something in front of the police, and I think one of the cops resigned to something like that, allegedly. I don't know. But he said he was just like the N word around, and he was getting crazy. You knew something was going to happen to him eventually. It ain't where you from, it's where you at. So it wouldn't just happen in New York. You knew something was going to happen to him. Rob Markman, so that's why I kind of watched him. You know, he's reaching. You doing too much. You asking for too much, bro.
23:07I mean, doing too much got him into a really big predicament because his bond was set at$1.25 million. Was that worth the streams? No, not at all.
23:21Tony Yayo:I mean, just him just spewing the hate out there was enough for me. Like, I never really paid attention to the guy. I never wanted to talk about him because I knew his day was coming. He was going to get killed or get in some dumb shit spewing that hate out there. So, check the Bobbilla. Have a good time in jail. they're going to know how to really treat you in there. Rob Markman But that's another thing, right? Look, he was saying he was just defending himself. But does that count like that when your brand is like that? Rob Markman That guy was going crazy online every day. And I feel like we should have had him all streaming a long time ago.
23:50Tony Yayo:Now we going to the light skin dude. He's making all light skin guys look bad right now. Rob Markman Do that, man. Rob Markman The Julio Fulio killer, Sean Gatwright. Rob Markman Yeah. Rob Markman Now, there's word to be said that he has a a GoFundMe right now? I heard they're sending him that bread. And let me tell you something. Crime don't pay, especially when you're in Florida. Shout out to Florida. At least New York, there is parole. Florida, there's no parole. It's just death sentence. So you go to trial. Did you watch it on YouTube? They're going to trial. I saw a little bit. Not only for the life sentences, my brother, but for the death.
24:26Tony Yayo:The sweat equity was crazy. You know what I'm saying? Disrespectful. Disrespectful. You know, the sweat equity was very crazy. But that's how Florida is, I guess. There's no parole. There's either life or the death penalty. And now they was, you know, he was crying on the stand. His sister went up there and talked. I think his mother talked. He used to be a good kid. And let me tell you, crime doesn't pay, especially when you're in Florida, bro. I'm just keeping it real. Death penalty, you can tell they hand that around like, it's nothing. So they avoided the death penalty, though, correct? They all just got life or no parole?
24:59So the official sentencing is not happening for all four men until June 22nd. So that's when they're going to do the official sentencing. Let me ask you guys.
25:07Tony Yayo:You think the crazy, what's the crazy one? Davon, I think it's Davon Murphy. What is it? Davon Murphy. He was the crazy one. The one who was laughing in there. The one that was in the room. He was laughing. In the courtroom laughing. Yo, did you see that interrogation? I seen it. I seen it. Who's the guy with the big Tims running? He about to shoot his man. Like, yo. And they were talking about him, correct? They was talking about him. And he was in there by himself. And he was making gun justice. Just bop, bop, like wildin' out. I don't want YouTube to block us out, but it was a crazy case. And it goes to show you, now these days there's too many cameras.
25:38Tony Yayo:Prime don't pay. They got cameras on a Tesla. They got phone records. They got Airbnb trail. They got highway trail. Like, come on. Yeah, yeah. You know, these dudes have automatic weapons. What you think is gonna happen, bro? You gonna get caught up, bro. And you know, a dude like Young and Ace can't even come back to Florida. So they know in Jacksonville, it's a ward. The same thing that they know in the streets, the feds know too, bro. Rob Markman Who's the blame for something like this, though? Rob Markman All that shit is just unfortunate, man. It's just, I guess niggas come up in this drama, this beef, and they see it paused.
26:14They only know a certain way to handle certain situations, man. But it's all unfortunate, honestly, man.
26:19Tony Yayo:Rob Markman But one thing, the difference between Daveon Murphy and Sean Gatwright is Sean Gatwright's crying. Dave on Manfrey is smiling. So, I mean, if you do the crime, you got to be able to do the time. You can't be up there crying and have a GoFundMe. You got a GoFundMe after you killed a high-profile rapper? That's kind of crazy, man. I mean, he got a GoFundMe. I ain't mad at him for trying to get some paper. Did you see what he say on the stand? Y 'all want to do good in jail. Bro, you got ops now. What are you talking about? Ain't no doing good in jail. When you go to prison, you talking all like, yo, I'm going to do good and keep my head down.
26:51Tony Yayo:Then you in prison now. Ain't no being good and keeping your head down. When you go to prison, it's real. Any day could be your last. You know that. So you being on the stand crying ain't making your bid better. It's not a good look for him. It's not making your bid better. That's not a good look. Him crying on there. It's not a good look. We can keep talking about jail a little bit. Unfortunately, Kodak Black over the weekend was actually injured twice. Twice in one week. So not over the weekend. Twice in one week. Is he locked up now? No? Shout out to Kodak Black. Shout out to all those, man.
27:23Tony Yayo:I love Kodak Black music, but yo, you gotta stay out of trouble. You got pardoned by - You gotta stay off the drugs. Yo, bro, listen, you gotta stay out of trouble. Allegedly, you do drugs. Off the drugs, man. Ain't no allegedly. We seen that nigga popping beans on live on Kostner. Everybody know he's a - Yeah, yeah, you right. That nigga's a drug. He threw it in the air. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's on the air, man. You definitely right. Kodak gotta get some help, man. You just gotta think about this. Yo, Kodak, you got pardoned by Donald Trump. You just gotta chill. You got to chill, though. Rob Markman But what about the people around you?
27:55What do they do? Rob Markman I mean, everybody don't have businessmen
28:00Tony Yayo:around them. Somebody just got street dudes. Rob Markman What about family? Rob Markman I mean, they could talk to them, but once these guys make their first million, they not listening to you. It's kind of hard to tell. You know, we was young and did a lot of mistakes too. Rob Markman Yeah, she make dope music, man. So I really wanted to see him get better so he could really get back on that shit, because Kodak was one of them dudes that actually talked that shit for the young generation, man. So the first time he got arrested, by the way, was May 6th, then got released. After that, was arrested May 14th.
28:28And then you got to think about this.
28:31Tony Yayo:It's a trap. And I'm going to tell you what. What they arrested him for, though? Fleeing police. Yeah, he was fleeing the police, apparently. And then one of his mans had the car. I think DNA was on drugs or something like that. That was the first case. Because they out for you. They let you know. We on you. Now someone jumped out the car and started running. You got a pardon from Trump. You think them people's happy for you? They're not happy for you? He was doing a lot of changes. He cut his hair, too. Oh, he cut his hair? He got the season now? Yeah. But now he's doing a whole switch up. Things are a little rough on the Kodak Black kind of timeline.
29:01Tony Yayo:I mean, things are never rough for Kodak Black. He rich. Yeah, man. I ain't going to say nothing rough for him. Nothing rough for him. I'm just saying to you, he just got to figure out some things. He just got a thing. You got pardoned by Donald Trump, right? You beat the odds, right? Just respect your blessings. Your family love you. You got kids out there. You seem like a good person. You do mad stuff for your mother. You do. Kodak does mad stuff for the community. Shout to him. You know, hopefully he just stay out of trouble because I'm a fan of his music and I'm a fan of what he do. I'm not mad that he's in the streets.
29:30Tony Yayo:He gives back to the streets. I respect that. But at the end of the day, if you keep catching these cases in Florida, it's like Florida's not playing. No, Florida does not play at all. You know, Florida don't play. It's not no place to really do crime at, it seemed like. First of all, there's no parole. At least New York, you got parole. You got a chance to see the light. Out there, it's like life or a flatbed, it seems like, from what I'm seeing. Or the death penalty get handed out like it's nothing. You know what I'm saying? You got to think about this, Ed Merk. 32:30Tony Yayo:Why is prison a trap? Why? Now you got cell phones, right? Right. With a cell phone, it kills half of the day for you. You know what I'm saying? Imagine you got Instagram, you got Sigtot, all the chicks on there. You can hit your people. People on there, that's killing the day. Like six hours after day, by the time I use it in the morning, might use it in the afternoon. Next thing you know, it's dinner and chow. It's time to go to bed. I got it. I'm rocking out. I'm chilling. I got the phone. I'm chilling. You doing the time, but you know what that is, right? That's a ticket. There's people in jail that's doing more time just for having a phone.
33:09Tony Yayo:You know what they take away from you with a cell phone? What? They take away your visits, I think, for a year. Damn. For a year? Yeah. They take away a commissary for a year. Whoa. They take away your phone for a year. I'm like, all for a cell phone. They doing their life now. I got to ask some of the homies. And look, a cell phone. I got to ask some of the homies. I have to blow it up because people know when it's like 10 grand. So if I borrow a murder phone and I get bussed, all my privileges took it away. Visits for a year, phone and commissary. I might get help somebody out with the commissary and then I owe murder 10 grand.
33:43Tony Yayo:Now he on my neck. We might have to go what they call gun to gun. Little kids, you don't want to go to prison. You know what I'm saying? And now I owe him 10 grand for a phone. Part of my ignorance. The reason why it's a trap because you go in there, you got to defend yourself. Yeah. And you catching more tickets, defending yourself, getting busy. You got to. Part of my ignorance, but is there even a way to lessen that? What? Once they're like, yo, everything's out for a whole year. That's what I heard. I heard they take away everything for like a year. And you go to the box. Damn. For a whole year.
34:18Tony Yayo:For like a whole year. No visits, no phone, no commissary. So what we got to do to get Kodak outside of, from all that? I mean, you know. How do we keep him away? He got to want to do it though. Yeah, he got to want to really do it though, man. He got to really want that. He's a good dude. He's blessed. He just got to realize how blessed he is. You know, his moms pray for him. I see, you know, I'm Haitian, so I know, you know, people pray. Haitian, we big on pray. We big into, you know, into believing in, you know, God and Jesus. You know, I don't want to get into it too much because people don't like when you talk about religion and politics, but he prays.
34:52Tony Yayo:His moms pray for him, you know, and he always gets out of jail. He's blessed, got a pardon from Trump Who's getting that? That's not an everyday thing So sometimes you gotta take your blessings And realize I'm blessed You know what I'm saying? We talked about Drake doing three album releases We talked about Kodak getting released twice from jail Let's get a little bit into about Lauryn Hill Who kind of explained why she hasn't dropped another album What did she say? And her biggest thing apparently was from you know drain of fame needing the safety to create dealing with industry I wanted to ask y 'all is there any artists that you wish had dropped anytime soon or like it would be Lauryn Hill because now we're in a more like the female rappers are dope the Sexy Reds, the Lottos, the Cardis Nicky's, the Molly Santana is now on Drake album so now she's a star the Ice Spices shout to Stunner Sandy I think she's from New York That's big.
35:54Tony Yayo:She's from New York. She's going to gain more followers. She's on the Drake album. I feel like before it was only like Kim, Foxy, Lauryn Hill, Eve. You had... Who am I missing? I'm missing somebody. Missy Elliott. You know there was a good amount, but now it's a lot of female rappers now that are dominating the game. You heard Sexy Red on the Drake album. You know they're dominating the game. They doing YK Niece, killing them. It's like, yo, it's like a new female rapper every day that's killing the game. And the females, the female market is bigger now for music. It feels like it's 60-40 because the women are listening to their music that they like.
36:36Tony Yayo:So I feel like Lauryn Hill was the come year. The lane is open. It will be Lauryn Hill. She went through a lot, but all her albums were like classics. You know, she was dropping knowledge. She said she's thinking about dropping something now. That thought is in her mind But at the same time It's kind of a question of Do you want to drop something else And then maybe hurt Quote unquote Hurt your legacy Is that possible When it comes to Lauren Hill I don't think it would never hurt Lauren Hill legacy If she dropped Because whatever she dropped Is going to be dope What do you think murder?
37:10If it ain't dope It could hurt her legacy Because I mean People are critics So people are going to always judge and they gonna put that up against her other project and they gonna go oh man she you know how people are people gonna go man she shoulda kept that shit listen for me that's how people are
37:29Tony Yayo:people I don't care how people are if it's not good they gonna say she shoulda kept it they not gonna go oh okay that's Lauren Hill so it was okay she put out some trash they gonna go damn man she shoulda man she just chill nah listen Lauren Hill's gonna drop a classic to me regardless cause I'm a Lauren Hill fan if she's thinking about putting out music We're talking about putting out an album almost 30 years later. Who cares? Yes, we need that from Lauryn Hill. Yes. Because everything is more of bars, bigging up the chicks, talking about Chanel's red bottoms or whatever, whatever fashion's new out, the biggest bag Chanel, you can buy the biggest expensive Louis shaking your ass or bars.
38:07Tony Yayo:You know what I'm saying? So with her, she's dropping Miss, what is it? Miss Education? Miss Education. Yeah, that was, you can name some of them songs on there. Come on, bro. Like, album was a classic. Come on. Lost One was on it? Nah, Lost One was on it, I'm sure. I got you. Oh, Mr. Man on Peanut Butter and Jelly Man is here. What's up, DJ, how you doing? I'm paused, Peanut Butter and Jelly Man. There's a good context for that. I suppose. I don't know, just Peanut Butter and Jelly Man? Nah, he said he's not going - Jelly on it. Yeah, take care. He said he's not going to eat no steak until he make$10 million.
38:40Tony Yayo:Okay, I ain't mad at you, DJ. He's eating - One million. Yeah. One million? What's the show? Theorist? Theorist Studios. Yeah, we got a show. Theorist Studios. That's my guy DT. For context, he just, he commonly purchases a whole tub of peanut butter and slices of bread every week to eat. But that's motivation for me because he said he's going to eat peanut butter and wheat bread until he make 10 million. I'm with that, man. To get back to Lauryn Hill real quick, a lot of the tracks are, yeah, Lost Ones, yes. X Factor to Zion, Doo Wop, Superstar, Final Hour, When It Hurts So Bad. It's a lot of tracks.
39:12Everything is everything. Classic album. Can't take my eyes off for you. Tell him. Of course, it's classic. Can't take nothing or even that. Can't take my eyes off for you. But now, saying what you're saying now, 30 years later, what if she doesn't want to harvest that?
39:24Tony Yayo:I think she should come with another album. That's just my opinion. No, I think she should come with another album, too. I'm with me, man. I feel like - If she feel like she in the creative space and she ready to drop some music, I'm with I feel like a lot of music, there's a lot of young artists that are definitely doing anything. We was talking about Don Toliver as one. Yes. He's coming into town. Shout to him. his concert is going to be a movie. He's at USBS. He's at Madison Square. He's in Jersey. Lucky he dropped his album. All my kids are fans of these people. I listen to their music, BK The Ruler, and their music is pretty dope.
39:55Tony Yayo:They got their cult followings. But a lot of the old school music is lasting forever. We had Havoc on the show. We recently talked about 40 Dates He's Doing. Banks right now is dope what he's doing. He's on tour right now. Shine is selling out. Shine is selling out. It's like 50 just came off three years ago, 109, Day to a Live Nation. Incredible tour. It toured after that. You just made your 420 piece right now? Yeah. It's like the older guys are lasting too. They're touring a lot. Drake is almost 40 and look, he's still killing the game. Rob Markman 3 whole albums. Facts. Now, I guess that's kind of why I wanted y 'all to talk about this, right?
40:36because of the fact of the pressure of streams in the modern day. We get these three albums, and then it's like, are people really going to stream all three of them? Obviously, it's proving it right when it comes to Drake.
40:48Tony Yayo:Rob Markman I mean, he broke every record there is to be broken. So, I mean, what is it? He killed Spotify, Spotify crashed. You know, you didn't get a chance to listen. If you didn't get a chance to listen to all three albums, it's still time for that. I get on a long flight. We supposed to be going to Malaysia and all these places. Rob Markman 20-hour flight. Listen, I'm going to listen to the third album. I listen to two albums. That's good enough. That's just there. 20 hours on the way back. It's more than 40 hours in the air. Look, and name the 10 top countries he dominated in. Dominating all over, man.
41:16But there's like 10 top countries out of America. I think all three albums right now is projected to be number one. Correct? I mean, one, two, and three. Come on. God crashed Spotify, bro. And also, to the question you asked. So, I mean, U.S., Canada, South Africa, United Kingdom, mainland China, France, India, Germany, Australia, Japan, and that's just the start of it, right? And we're talking about only the first week, back to talking about Iceman and the other albums. When it comes to you guys though, how do y 'all kind of work on y 'all releases and y 'all tracks and everything like that?
41:46Tony Yayo:I mean, for me, like I dropped the 420 project, we got the Dispo, you know, Shout to the Unit, Dispo, Powered by Indoor, Strength for Life, because we in the cannabis world. Indoor Mo, what up? Rob Markman, 7th Ave, 8th Ave, Sanctuary, PIG, Cureleaf, all these companies we deal with. You know, so I made a 420 project. I had Wiz on there, Burner, shout to them. I had Murda on there, shout to him. I had my man Sosa on there. It's doing well. You know, we making independent money, which Drake is going independent with that 2 Billy, which is a good idea because a lot of rappers, we can still do numbers, but the numbers are different.
42:25Tony Yayo:You know, you might have went gold back then easy. You know what I'm saying? But now it's kind of hard to go gold. If you go gold, you know what I'm saying, without a machine behind you or whatever it is. But a lot of people are making a lot more money going independent. Just cater to your fan base. That's what I feel like nowadays. Just make the music that feel good to you and cater to your fan base. And whoever your fans, they're going to support you just for being you. And the reason I ask is because you guys are obviously legends in the game. Definitely. Shout out to Empire. I just did a deal with them about to put out some new music.
42:57Shout out to Empire, man. Shout out to Gazi, man. Gazi, my guy Nima, Bobby up there. I just did a deal with them about to put out some new music. But you just got to stay true to your fans, man. You know what people that really rock what you want to hear. So just give them that good music. Sometimes you can try a couple of new things here and there. But just, man, get your fans what they want to hear, man.
43:18Tony Yayo:As for me, I'm an actor. Is that the new pursuit you have? I mean, yeah, I feel like I'm going to be one of the next big ones. You know, I'm just me. I stay humble and be me. And I think that's what you do in the game. Like, shout to Max B. But Max B, you got to stay humble. I heard you dissing Big Daddy Kane. I know what you're talking about. I heard you diss Big Daddy Kane. Shout to Big Daddy Kane. You can't disrespect the legends. Big Daddy Kane is one of the guys that pioneered the game. Max B, you know I love you from way back. Pause, if that's a pause. Because murder's going to say that.
43:51Tony Yayo:You caught it. You know, you were in French, you know. I know y 'all when y 'all first started in the game, but Big Daddy Kane slander, we cannot do. Shout out to Brooklyn. Shout out to Molly Mall. Big Daddy Kane. Queens. You know what I'm saying? We can't never shit on Big Daddy Kane. Is Big Daddy Kane not on the wall? And shout out to Gillian Wallow too. Those are my brothers, man. Of course, of course. But it was on the Gillian Wallow show, right? They were on Million Dollars with a game. Yeah. Right? And then, so then, yes. So, just for context, yeah, he claimed that he is way more influential than Big Daddy Kane.
44:22Again, is that not a pause, Big Daddy King? That might be... No, that's not a pause. Y 'all said Mobb Deep was a pause. I never said that. In today's era, that might be a pause. Now we're getting ridiculous with pause. We got to stop using the words. The young boys might have said that. You ain't lying, though, but the young boys might have said... They might have said that, man. Yo, Big Daddy King is what hip-hop is.
44:45Tony Yayo:Max B, you know, you got to stay humble. You just came home. You know, you got a hit record with friends. That's cool. But Big Daddy Kane got seven certified albums. He said he had to sing it. Hold on. Big Daddy Kane cracked Madonna. Bro, Tupac allegedly cracked Madonna. Allegedly, right? You know, Madonna. Am I saying wrong or cracked is too much? That's the young boy stuff, right? He cracked Madonna. I mean, that's correct. Yeah, it's cracked. Whatever. He pizzled, whatever it is. But the Max B Slim, Big Daddy Kane, we can't do that. 45:52Tony Yayo:And I know we older, but Max, you older too. So, I mean, we should just salute, you know, the guys that paved the way. Yeah. Because there was a point where it was Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, Slick Rick. List goes on and on, but those are like major names in the game. I never disrespect Big Daddy Kane. He's one of the greats, as well as Koo G Rap, Rakim, LL. The list goes on and on. Yo, let's go to Clarissa Shields. She smacking chicks now? Oh, yes. What's that about? She getting crazy. 46:28Tony Yayo:She's not playing. Not allegedly. So, Clarissa Shields slapped Alicia... Oh, this is going to be a tough one. Baumgartner during a heated argument. Now, it looked like a jab when I saw the video. Did she hit it off? Did it land? I mean, you got to watch the video on here. It sounded like a slap. but it doesn't look too clear it sounds like a slap that's all i'm saying mark you ain't see the video pull the video up not saying that but i didn't really see nothing connect i wasn't sure if it connected or not so we got the radio right here you guys tell me what you think about this okay let me see if it can it was that right there it was kind of light it was like a jab looks like a quick slap wasn't too much i don't see it connecting or am i missing something You hear a little something Can you see a hit?

47:58Tony Yayo:They said Officer Ricky jumped into Drake beef because of French and French still cool with Drake. So Officer Ricky looking kind of stupid. I mean, yeah, there's a lot going on. There's a lot going on out there, man. We love the game. We love this. Shout out to Biggs, too, man. Yeah, shout out to Biggs, because I heard Jay-Z made that call. Yeah, he made a nigga apologize. Yo, Ross, make sure you retract him statements. Apologize. He retracted statements to Biggs. Shout out to Biggs, man. 51:00Tony Yayo:You know, we're not condoning violence, but we watched it in The Godfather and Scarface and all these different movies that was in Hollywood before it came to the hood. Because that's where we, you know, they say it's either music or movies. You know? Right? Wrong or right. But I'm telling you, there's more civilians in the world than gangsters. What's the point? I'm just telling you that. Oh, I didn't want to know what was the point. But you're not on camera, but we out. Make sure y 'all like, cheats, subscribe. You know what I mean?
