In short
The hosts debate major hip-hop news: Keefe D found guilty in the Tupac Shakur murder case; the ongoing Lil Durk trial and claims about OTF Jam/other witnesses contradicting themselves; online media beef between Vlad TV and N.O.R.E.; Fat Joe criticizing Hot 97 Summer Jam; and a Boosie Badazz vs. Rod Wave dispute over music rights/sampling.
Guests (on this episode)
Tony Yayo (New York rapper; “talk of New York,” part of G-Unit) and Uncle Murda (Harlem rapper; “AKA Led Jack Lenny”). They also mention “Harlem Legend” as a show extension/moderator, but the main guests are Yayo and Murda.
Key claims
Keefe D’s conviction is framed as “karma” and proof there’s no statute of limitations for murder; in Durk’s case, loyalty is “over” because witnesses allegedly flip for deals and contradictions; Vlad vs. N.O.R.E. is “war of words,” with Vlad allegedly going too far; Boosie’s IP complaint is about homage and rights; Fat Joe says Summer Jam is a “shit show/circus.”
Notable examples
Keefe D guilty after three hours; Cam’ron appearing in court; Drake/Swiss Beats/Kanye West allegedly funding Durk’s defense; OTF Jam allegedly giving/using $50K and later implicating Durk; Vlad allegedly alleging N.O.R.E. is connected to Diddy (including a Maybach claim); Fat Joe comparing Summer Jam to a circus; Boosie offering/being offered $100,000 for Rod Wave’s “Long Journey” (2023) using/echoing a 2010 Webby/Boosie track.

Because if you aren't locked in with us on the NFL Fantasy Football Show, you're already playing from behind. Listen to the NFL Fantasy Football Show on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Me personally, I think Vlad did take it a little bit too far, right?
2:21But when you disrespect somebody, you got to, I guess, expect for them to come back and disrespect you, right? But I think Vlad did take it a little bit too far. Like I said from the beginning, I think Vlad shouldn't even put the business out there in the street for it to even get this far, period. You know what I'm saying? But I don't know, I guess Vlad did feel disrespected and I think he did take it a little bit too far. I think he took it over somebody not coming to the podcast and stuff like that. I think they're a little better than that for the things I heard Vlad say. I think they could have resolved that behind the scenes instead of him going that crazy.
2:56So in my opinion, I think Vlad didn't take it too far. He didn't get stabbed. Go ahead and shut the s*** up. Okay. Brovins! Brovins! What's that point you can't movies with? Ow! Rimmins!
3:05Tony Yayo:Yo, bro. All right. I'm not my video. I don't guess I don't want to fuck that. I don't want to fuck that. I don't want to fuck that. I don't want to fuck that. I don't want to fuck that. I don't want to fuck that. Yeah, it's the talk of New York, Tony Ayo. And this the boy Uncle Murda, AKA Led Jack Lenny. And welcome to the Real Report Show, where everything is real when we report, man. Make some noise, y 'all. Yeah. Yeah. We got our new extension to the show, Harlem Legend, moderator. Ooh, legend, what up, dawg? Harlem Legend in the building. Make sure y 'all watch Harlem Legend TV. Y 'all liked them on the last episode.
3:38Tony Yayo:We gonna bring them out on these solos, because we like to get crazy. We don't give a fuck. Ain't no limitations. We gonna talk about the stuff that all the other podcasts are scared to talk about. You know, I've heard of do it in a wrap up. I ain't got no friends. So, man, you know, what's going on in the news? What we getting into? Man, there's a lot of news going on, man. Salute, fellas, man. Welcome to The Real Report, man. Yo, look, man, there's a lot going on, man. We got to get right into this one, y 'all, man, because there's a major update in the Keefe D situation, man. He since has been found guilty after three hours of deliberation by the jury.
4:14found guilty of the murder of Tupac Shakur. How do y 'all feel about that, man?
4:20Tony Yayo:I mean, I feel like we in new times, and watch how you talk on these podcasts or how you make these books because there's no statute of limitations on murder. We knew that at 16, 15 years old, right, murder? Yeah. So Keefe D was kind of bugging for even fucking around like that. You know what I'm saying? He was bugging. For me, like, just telling stories of being an accessory to murder in a book on talking about it online. And these prosecutors now, they got a point to prove. So they're like, oh, this is a high profile case, Tupac. We can get the news in the press because it's all about the next catch for them.
4:56Tony Yayo:That's how prosecutors think. What's going to level them up? Or we find Keefy D guilty for being there when Pac got killed. And he's telling us that. You know what I mean? So that's when talking too much online fucks you up. And this is Las Vegas on the strip. Yeah, they trying to make an example out of Keefe. He wasn't even a suitor, man. Tupac died, what, is it over 30 years now? Over 30 years. Over 30 years ago and Keefe D is getting arrested now. So that just tells you there's no statute of limitations on murder. Would most people at this point consider this justice for Tupac Shakur? Justice.
5:32Like, civilians and a lot of people, it's been 30 years. He has a lot of fans to the day. so yet would y 'all think that people would consider this justice?
5:41Tony Yayo:I wouldn't even say justice I would say karma cause you talking about something from 30 years that you didn't have to bring up where you didn't even have the problem but you brung it up and that's karma you know what I'm saying? I think that the civilians look at it as um I think the civilians is looking at it like it's justice I know street niggas looking at it probably like he played himself shit like that like damn you did that shit to yourself this nigga stupid It's stupid, man. And they also looking at it like, damn, you know, niggas don't be wishing jail on nobody. You know how that shit be, street niggas.
6:13You know, we like, we don't wish jail on nobody. It's like 30 years, he wasn't even a shooter. Nigga old. He ain't got too much time left anyway, man. Like, man, let that dude be, but it is what it is. Got to throw this in there too. Shout out to Cam Ron, man. He popped out in court during the Keefy D trial. Shout out to Cam and Sugar Duggar. My boy Cam on some real journalist shit for real. He was definitely in the courtroom for Keefy D. Well, he recently did an interview with Manny Fresh, and he basically just said, man, I don't know why I was there. Oh, that's what he said? Yeah. He popped out.
6:42This is all published. He popped out and said he didn't know why he was there. Said he just popped out. He knew what was going on. He said, oh, let me just go. That's what he said.
6:50Tony Yayo:Definitely, man. Shout out to Kim. I ain't mad at that. Why not? Fuck, he got us talking about this shit right now, so why not? Shout out to Kim. Because Kim had a luxurious career, but at the end of the day, it took kind of a turn when the Tupac and Biggie stuff was going on because Biggie was the one that wanted to sign Cam at that time, although he went with Undean. Oh, that's right. He went with Un. So at that time, when Biggie died, it was kind of like Cam was trying to get back, you know what I mean, into motion and unsigned him or saw Biggie's word. So that whole war, that was real at that time.
7:23Yo, facts. Yeah, that's a fact, man. That's a fact, man. It was definitely deep. But rest in peace, Tupac, and that's crazy, man. Keefe D did it to herself, man. He kind of did it to herself, man.
7:35Tony Yayo:You know, there's two trials we know everybody's watching. Keefe D and Dirk, what's going on with that? I see Drake and Academic spent a million on lawyers. Shout to them. That's real nigga shit, man. Yeah, the Dirk trial is going on. It's going on. And I mean, it's neat enough. I think a few people put up some money. They said, I think Drake, Swiss Beats. Kanye West. Kanye West. Yeah, we have a whole list, a plethora of people. Kanye West, apparently, allegedly, because it's coming from DJ Academic. a lot of the... So I don't like the, you know, secondhand. It's just... Got you, okay. It's a federal case.
8:07Yeah, got you. So a lot of this stuff is kept under covers and, you know, we don't have cameras in the courtroom. So we're going to get secondhand information from the trap Lord Rosses, the Sadie Nashes. Y 'all know how that goes. Yeah. But definitely, they said Kanye West popped out with 250K. We also know G Herbo pulled up to go show love. So Dirk is definitely getting a lot of love from the industry. Free Dirk. Free Dirk.
8:31Tony Yayo:Free Dirk. What you feel about Trap Lil' Ross? He getting pressed. I seen Dirk on Doody Low said something about Dirk. Trap Lil' Ross, he has been, like it's been, it's been. Shout to Trap Lil' Ross. We been watching him heavy on YouTube, man. He been all over that trial, man. Every single day, talking about the snitches on the trial. I saw Dirk wife curve. She curved Doody Low, right? He was trying to give her a hug. I don't know what happened with that. I said she curved him. Woo! Yeah, with the woo! I mean, I think she just, you know, you got to think with Dirk, when somebody's gambling with their life, man, I mean, it's a stressful thing, especially when your wife loves you, you got kids and a family, you know, I mean, free Dirk, man, man, shout out to Brian Steele, his lawyers out there, they doing a wonderful job.
9:17Tony Yayo:And I think the streets is over and being loyal is over. What do you guys think? Because, I mean, when you look at the OTF Jam situation, you know, this guy's in jail, He helped you with your lawyers, helped you with your lawyer fees, helped you with commissary, took care of you, you came home, gave you over$100 ,000. Rob Markman Well, he gave him$50K right out the gate. Rob Markman So this is what's happening. Rob Markman You gotta let me talk. Rob Markman You gotta let me talk. Rob Markman You gotta let me talk. Rob Markman I know he gave him the$50 ,000, but at the same time, he also was on a stand and saying he loved her, but he was on a goofy mission.
9:51Tony Yayo:That's crazy. If you got three bodies already, my whole thing is loyalty, bro. This nigga done looked out for you. There's no way you implicate that man to not get natural life or whatever bid you're going to get. Because we all know when you work with the feds, you're going to get a lighter sentence. Come on, bro. The streets is over. That's what that's telling you. You loyal to these guys and these guys all turning their back and pointing at you. Because when the feds come, loyalty is limited. it it's alleged otf jam has five bodies but he's actually his plea deal was only for three right but it's alleged he has five right so the going back to the 50 000 that uh dirk actually gave him he the feds is spending it into the like using it as a as to prosecute him saying that that was for future murders so that's what uh otf jam is actually getting on the stand and pointing the finger at Dirk.
10:48He gave me$50 ,000 but it was for me to work for him in the future. To have bodies. So that's why this is a dangerous trial.
10:56Tony Yayo:But didn't they say OTF Jam did like 30 interviews with the feds and they only got three? Yes. He did 31. Once you lied to the feds, the deal is off the table. It seemed like he lied a couple of times on that case anyway. Or they made him say certain things. They wanted to put together a certain narrative. So that's why they only recorded certain things so they made sure he get it right in these interviews. That's what it looked like, man. But us knowing you got 30 interviews with the feds and we only heard three, that's fishy, bro. Yeah. He did some funny business. And you didn't even implicate Dirk in some of them interviews, they said, if I believe that's the fact, because I've been following up on the case.
11:32Well, in the interviews, he actually said that he never spoke to Dirk about any sliding for Vaughn. There you go. But now he's getting on the stand saying something different. So that's why it's contradictions. And they got that documented in these interviews that he said he never spoke to Dirk and all that. Yes, it's documented. About Slime for Barnes. To the feds, they asked him, have you ever talked with Dirk about sliding? This is all facts. Sliding for Dirk. And he said, no. Dirk coming home. I've never had those conversations. I think Dirk coming home.
11:59Tony Yayo:Yeah, we prayed Dirk come home. I think Dirk coming home. But the whole thing, though, is we know that if you're a high-profile artist, right, the prosecutor will do anything to get that artist down. Whoever's the head guy, they feel like, oh, shit, he's the money. He's a supplier. He's this, he's that. Of course, Vonnie and them don't want to do natural life. So what I'm going to do? You telling me you didn't have access to nothing, none of Dirk's money? You knew, come on, man. Niggas could use the card if they want to. You seen movies like this. You know what I'm saying? Niggas was moving sloppy.
12:29Tony Yayo:Niggas don't have nothing on Dirk, bro. It's just niggas flipping because they know they can get a deal. You seen this how many times in the streets? In the feds? A million. Right, Murk? You know you can get a deal. And let me tell you, just because you a snitch don't mean you ain't no killer. Let's be serious. That's what niggas got... We got both all understand is just because of that. The man is a killer. But now you telling me, you understand telling me, yo, murder, I love you. Murder, I love you. You did shit for me in jail and everything. You just sent me on a goofy mission. What? Bro, just take your time and say, yo, that man had nothing to do with nothing, bro.
13:05Let me give you the statement. Now I'm glad you said that because Casey Hester, a.k.a. OTF Jam, this is a statement that he made. He said, I still love Dirk, but I don't respect him. He was being selfish and put me in a bad situation. He being selfish. He being selfish right now. I mean, he doing the corny sucker shit right now, man. That's whack, man.
13:26Tony Yayo:Where's the loyalty, man? That's so whack, man. That's why the streets is over. You can't be loyal to dudes. I hope this dude in jail came home, paid his lawyer fees, and you flipping shit on me? Because you in the gym? Nah, man. The feds got you, not me. You know what I'm saying? Well, there's several guys that's actually taking the stand. And another one today, as we speak today, Keith Jones, he actually took the stand and said, well, he was a hired shooter. He's not even OTF. He represents the BDs, but he's not an OTF representative. And he's sitting up there, and he's pointing the finger at Dirk also.
14:03Everyone wants to get a deal. So everyone has to be the first ones to get the deal, man. And he's been confirmed as a guy that actually was around the crew because he was actually at the Gillian Wallow interview at the time where he had with Dirk with the million dollars on the table. So this guy, Keith Jones, actually was there.
14:23Tony Yayo:Okay. So he's confirming to the feds, like, yes, he flew me out here. Like, yeah, it was phone calls for me coming out for him. He's a part of the hit too? Yes. Oh, shit. Yes, his name is Flocker. Damn. Those by the name of Flocka. So there's a lot of players here. Flocka a sucker too. He's just saying that. So we got seven people. So you got OTF Jam, Flocka, Vani. Didi's not telling though. No. No, OTF Jam just took the stand. I mean, OTF Vani actually took the stand also today. Damn. Yeah, and he's straight up saying he doesn't have access to Dirk's money. He doesn't have access to make moves for OTF.
15:02He said only Dirk is the boss. Damn, that shit not sound like too good.
15:07Tony Yayo:Free Dirk, man. It's crazy, man. It's something like Ice-T said. He said, what he said? He said something like how the mob usually do it. You know, when you get people to do certain things, when you got shooters, and then when they're around too long, you know, you might as well get rid of the shooters too, because they're a liability, man. And that's what it's looking like in this situation. Like, shit is just crazy, man. But I think they doing some real corny sucker shit. and I think they're going to beat it. I think the streets is over. I think just get your money and stay out the way. And you know, I'm glad that we always had somebody like, you know, fifth around and tell niggas stay away from the bullshit because that's when it happens.
15:48Tony Yayo:You think niggas is tough until the feds come. You know what I'm saying? And the jails, they talking about sending niggas USP Polak. Shit like that is rough in the feds, bro. 23 hour lockdowns with two hours wreck. Life is over. You go from caviar pancakes to themselves, bro, mentally you're going to die. I'm just keeping it real. Mentally, it's going to fuck you up. Being a millionaire to go through that, just being in the feds now, slop meals, only eating commissary. That shit is sad. And then you got niggas that you looked out for that are shitting on you. The streets is over, man. It's over.
16:22Tony Yayo:It's crazy. Too much technology. And when niggas get pressed by the feds, they tell them. You've seen the realest niggas tell before, bro. You know it's the most craziest part about this whole thing Just to end this off So it was said that they was to make Allegedly from between Half a ticket to a million dollars right Nobody got paid Nobody made anything So all of this just lost lives Murders and nobody made any money I mean so you can't tie Dirk To no money Nobody got paid anything He ain't never say he was gonna pay them niggas in the first place Them suck ass niggas The thing is, the thing is getting caught up, you spend more - He didn't ever say he was going to pay y 'all right ass niggas, so my thing didn't get paid.
17:03Tony Yayo:The whole thing is, Dirt got a family. You know, a lot of families are affected by this. I understand, you know, but when you look at it in hindsight, it's like, bro, you an icon out here. Sometimes you just got to learn to fall back from being around niggas, because they going to be the problem sometimes. Your own circle. So have the right circle around you and make the best decisions. Because look, the same niggas that you was spending money on buying chains and shopping and OTF chains or the same niggas on the stand. It's bad business. I agree with you, Murr. It's crazy. What we talking about next, man?
17:34Tony Yayo:What's going on? Them niggas are some suckers, man. Got to watch them niggas that's close to you. Make sure they do what they supposed to do, nigga. Nas voice. Yeah. Didn't catch the latest Roland Martin Unfiltered Podcast? Here's what you missed. And the argument is, do you want to win? If you don't win, you have no power. It's real. Those are the very people who I always say vote against their own economic interests and they complain about the very thing they're receiving. It's raw. I knew that the issue of transgender athletes was not going well with a lot of black men. Roland Martin unfiltered.
18:12I went off, I said, this is exactly what I'm talking about. Y 'all gonna scream at Chanel, but you don't want to see a black luxury company in the same vein. Was that scary to walk away from such a stable career after just two years? No. I was more afraid of being unhappy than I was broke in a dead-end job that I didn't enjoy. 21:21You're in training camp and the rookie quarterback has one good throwing session in front of the media suddenly everybody online says he should start over you week one how do you handle this you just go back out to practice the next day and wait for him to mess up listen to lots to say with bobby bones and matt castle on the iheart radio app apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts so i uh there's there's also an issue going on between and it's been going on for quite some time with Boosie and Boosie Badass. Yeah, I seen them.
21:52Tony Yayo:Shout out to Boosie and Rod Wave, two legends. I seen them going back and forth. Boosie. You said Boosie? Boosie. Nah, Boosie. So this is over. So you guys can get a little bit more deeper in this, right? Because it's over intellectual property. You know what I mean? Of course. It's over intellectual property, right? So when you sign a record deal, which Boosie signed back in the days to Trill. Yeah, with Trill Records, yes. They own the music. He was signed, yes, and Rod Wave is in business with Trill. It's all business, but I can understand why Boosie's mad, but maybe he wants a little more homage.
22:30Tony Yayo:I don't know. Shout out to Boosie and shout out to Rod Wave, but it sound like he wanted to pay homage, like maybe, you know, because this guy, Rod Wave is selling out arenas. Maybe he wanted to give him a little bit of bread, or maybe he wanted to bring him out on the show. I don't know. That nigga Boosie said, yo, man, you got motherfucking kids out here. committing to singing them sad songs and you eating pork chops and shit. And I go, yo, that shit had me rolling. Well, he offered Boosie$100 ,000 and he didn't have to give him a penny. Boosie should've took that money though. I'm not gonna hold you.
23:03Boosie should've took that bread. I ain't gonna hold you with that.
23:06Tony Yayo:That's good money. Boosie reportedly said it's not enough. I mean, no, I understand. Boosie always want more money. You see how he's pressing Vlad? So Boosie's a hustler. Nobody's knocking that. Shout out to Boosie. But my whole thing is If somebody else Owns the music And he's going to That person I'm still paying you homage By giving you $100 ,000 That's a lot of money You know what I'm saying Like yo I still gotta pay This person Trill Records There's still splits They gotta do Producers Points And that's what Rod Wave was saying On the jet He was saying Yo It's business I had to do splits with them But I'm still offering you $100 ,000 That's good business Cause I didn't have to Give you anything How much of the How much of Boosie's song did he actually take?
23:48Did he use like verses and shit and all that? It was a song with him and Webby. It's right here. I got it right here. It was a song with him and Webby. I was just looking at it. Oh, pull that real quick. Yeah, hold that real quick. Like he had the hook and all that. Did he use some of the - Long Journey. So in 2023, Rod Wave dropped a song called Long Journey. Yeah, yeah. I'm going too close. Hold on. I'm going to start it over real quick. Yeah. So, Raw Wave released a long journey in 2020.
24:18Tony Yayo:I'm nervous right now. You got it. You got it. You got it all up. Raw Wave released a song called Long Journey in 2023. So, it was like a basically a remix of what Webby and Boosie done in 2010. So, he wasn't feeling him taking his song like that. So, that's why he was firing back like that. But I mean, 100 ,000 was offered. I mean, I look at it like, yo, Rod Wave is paying homage to one of the dopest artists out there in the South. You know what I'm saying? So that's like 50 being mad at everybody doing many men over. You know what I'm saying? Fucking rest in peace, Pop Smoke. Who else did many men?
25:05There's a few people that did many men over. My boy King Bimo got one about the job.
25:08Tony Yayo:King Bimo did many men over. There's so many artists that did many men over. and I would say 50 don't get mad. They paying homage. And then you still offering to give me$100 ,000? But I know Boosie's saying that this guy got a habit of doing that. Like he's taking the whole industry's music and doing it. Because I just see even Life Jennings had commented on like, yo, man, nigga owe me some money too, man. But I see Life also said that they just worked it out, him and Raw Wave. So I guess they're about to make it right with him. But I guess it's apparently the only artist that Raw Wave did this to.
25:38No, I got to ask you this, though. Isn't that a problem, Liyah? If you don't own your music, how can you... It feels like you're obligated.
25:47Tony Yayo:If you don't own your catalog, somebody can purchase the sample. Whoever's the owner or have the rights to that record, Trill Music, there's nothing wrong with that. You can buy that. It's business. If you own your own catalog, yes, you can say, yo, listen, niggas gotta come straight to me, not to Trill Music or not to this label. But if you don't own your catalog, Rob Markman, what do you expect? It's business. That's how I look at that. Lucy, you a legend. People are going to do your records over. Know what I'm saying? Life Jennings, a legend. They're going to want to do your records over. If the label owns it, you can go buy it.
26:22Tony Yayo:That's like the same thing with movies. You can go buy the rights to certain movies. Know what I'm saying? If you could buy the rights to Warriors, you got the money. I want to put out Warriors part two. You got the bread. Yo, I could buy it from here. It's not owned by whoever's in Warriors. It's owned by this guy. they're going to go buy it and shoot the movie. I just think Rob Wave is considered a legend. I mean, not a legend. He's considered like a pop star right now in the game. Of course, he's filling the reedas. So at the end of the day, I think he forwards the song. He makes the song hot.
26:53Definitely. He brings back the feeling to the song. So I mean... But if he's talking to these artists and he's talking about giving them some money, I don't know. They got to work that out. Yeah, but how y 'all feel about the young kids coming in the game saying y 'all old niggas need to move out the way?
27:11Tony Yayo:I don't feel like that. Listen, going back to the record, right? Like what he said. Who's saying that, though? I don't think nobody's saying that. Who's saying that, though? But you know, there will always be a sentiment in the game. Like, yo, come on, this old nigga hating on me. And that's basically what Rod Way said on that flight. Like, yo, bro, he's just hating on me. I don't get it. I'm saying, now, going back to what Murder said, right? Fuck with Boosie, right? But when you start saying shit like, yo, he make music for kids to do, I think that's like, gets too crazy. It's just, the word alone is just walking, you know what I'm saying?
27:48Tony Yayo:It's a dangerous thing. So I think when the low blows come in, pause, it just gets a little crazy. I think that they both two dope artists, just my opinion. I feel like if Raw Wave gonna give you some money, that's cool. and I feel like that's a way of paying homage. When records last forever, people want to do them over. You know, so like I said... I think Boosie just meant the nigga make sad music. Because I never really heard too much of raw wave music, right? I never really got into it, but I do hear people say that his music is kind of sad. I know what's sad, but when you say... Not you saying it, but him saying it, I just think that that's a real touchy subject.
28:27Tony Yayo:Suicide is a big problem in the world. That's the worst thing somebody could do or you want to see do. You know what I'm saying? So when you bring that up with him, it's just kind of crazy for you to say that. He said that the nigga... It's called emo music. But he said the nigga eat a lot of pork chops too. Oh, alright, cool. I mean, he got money, man. I don't think niggas care. I just think that that nigga makes great music. He's filling arenas like he's winning. From what I see on Broadway, he's winning. He's definitely winning. Rob Markman, he's winning. Rob Markman, he's winning. Like I'm seeing - He definitely winning.
28:59Tony Yayo:You know, from when I'm seeing his concerts, them shits be packed. People singing his songs word for word, and he's great at what he do. And Boosie, you great at what you do too. I just feel like it is Rod Wave turn. And yeah, maybe niggas going to be like, if you older and you don't pay homage, of course that's the first thing a nigga's going to say, yo, yo, old ass nigga hating, but niggas pay homage to Boosie too. It's just a misunderstanding and hopefully they can get that shit right. Because I fuck with Boosie and I fuck with Ron Wade. Rob Markman - Boosie ain't fucking with that nigga. Rob Markman - I mean, you never know.
29:30Tony Yayo:They can make it work it out. He might say, I got a quarter million for you now. Let's work it out. Rob Markman - Yeah, Boosie respect that money. Rob Markman - You respect that money. Rob Markman - You know what I mean? Boosie, maybe we get on our podcast. We ain't giving you Vlad money though. We got you. Rob Markman - We just starting off. Boosie, we got a bag for you. You know what I'm saying? Because Boosie, he make them numbers happen. And he's one of the guys that me doing the YouTube shit, I kind of follow his blueprint. You know what I'm saying? But I feel like I monopolize a lot off of Vlad.
29:57Tony Yayo:You know what I'm saying? I got two shows right here, Real Report. We got another plaque, Murder Disguise plaque today. Rob Markman, Jr.: Yeah. Rob Markman, Jr.: And you know, I got the Feed Yeo show and we got other shit going on. So as well as Murder about to drop the music on the show. So look out for the album. We got Chef G on there. We got records with King B-Mo. Rob Markman, Jr.: Facts. Rob Markman, Jr.: Got my boy Benny the Butcher on there. Rob Markman, Jr.: Benny the Butcher on there. on there. You know what I'm saying? Talk about the project, man. Couple more guests. Couple more guests is coming, man.
30:21Talk about the project.
30:22Tony Yayo:When you want to drop the project, man? Let me know. We're going to drop it on... You don't got to give me a date. Just tell me I know you're excited. Maybe sometime around October. Maybe the first week of October we looking at, man. We're going to have some fun. How much songs are Mix and Mastered? We got 12 records on there, man. We got 12 records on there. How many Mix and Mastered so far? So far, we about... I'd say 85 % done. We got about seven, eight records Mix and Mastered already. All right, cool. Yeah, we almost done. Free Chef G. I heard the drinks you got with him. Oh, that shit is crazy.
30:47Tony Yayo:I'm letting y 'all know he got a banger with Chef G, man. It's crazy. You know what I mean? He got a banger with King BMO. Shout out to King BMO. Facts. Looking forward to music. What else is going on? Banging with Benny Butcher. Banging with Conway. What's going on in the real report, man? What's going on, bro? What's going on? Man, recently, man, hey, it's been war online. I ain't going to hold you. It's been war online between - Who else beefing online, bro? Yeah, it's been war. Vlad TV versus Nori. Oh. Oh. So we know Vlad TV runs like a, you know - Rob Markman - Oh, but we got to ask the pause, the pause guy over here.
31:16Tony Yayo:Nori said he'll bend Vlad over. Was that a super pause to start like this? Like I bent you over. Rob Markman - Nori's my brother. That was definitely a pause. Rob Markman - All right, cool. That's what I'm gonna ask you. Pause, Nori. Rob Markman - That was a pause. Nori's my brother. That was a pause. Rob Markman - Yeah, definitely. That was a pause. Rob Markman - Go ahead. Rob Markman - Finish up, man. Rob Markman - Let me give y 'all a little bit of the backstory. So Vlad, you know, he usually does business at times to wear favor for favor, right? So he'll do your show, which he did, Drink Champs.
31:43It's millions of views. It's out there. And him and Nori had fallouts in the past, but they ended up mending the problems. And, you know, he told Nori, yo, look, man, don't you think about doing my show? Because he actually went to DG Academics and spilled the beans and went off on Nori, right? He said Nori's not a man of his word. After spinning him out all over L.A., all over Miami, you know what I'm saying? So it's one of those things where he felt like Nori didn't fulfill what he had to do for him. So now Nori is going back off on him. Like, yeah, Nori said, oh, he basically bent the man over, man.
32:19I did to you what you been doing to this culture for a long time. Now, I don't know how y 'all look at Vlad. How do y 'all feel about that, man?
32:26Tony Yayo:I'm going to tell you my take on it. Shout to Nori and shout to Vlad. But my take on it is this. Fuck that. I got a podcast now. Yo, listen. I was on Mike Tyson podcast. Tyson, I need you on the show. I was on Andrew Schultz podcast. Yo, we need Andrew Schultz on the show. We was on Kill Tony podcast. Kill Tony, I need you on the show. I was on Tyus. Yo, Shane Gillis, I need you on the show. Anybody show that I was on, I feel like I do. Now that I'm in the media lane, I feel like, nah, you need to come to my show. Know what I'm saying? Because everything that I touch with murder, without murder, by myself, whatever, I did numbers.
33:04Tony Yayo:everything was in the millions. So yeah, I want Tyson on my show. I want Andrew Schultz on the show. I want everybody. I want Kill Tony on the show. I want Shane Gillis on the show. Any platform that I did, I want, what else? Shannon Sharp on the show. I want Cam on the show. Yeah, if I do your podcast, 100%, I want you to do my podcast. So the game is built off favors. Yes, yes. No disrespect to Nori, but I agree with Vlad. Like, if I do your podcast, I was on Vlad's podcast, he pays me, still got on my podcast and he didn't ask for no money. Think about it. It's a good business. That's why I can never really say nothing about Vlad because he got right on me and Murder Platform without a problem.
33:51What I say about that, though, is a person do got a right to change their mind. Right? And if you don't, you can have that understanding, but it don't mean like, I don't know, You could switch. You could switch. Maybe something like, maybe you just might not feel like doing it. And if you did a person platform, it don't mean that they have to do your platform either. You know what I'm saying? You might do a person platform because it's beneficial to you at the time. It don't mean if you got a podcast now that they got to do your platform. Do you want them to do your motherfucking podcast? Hell yeah.
34:27But they don't have to. You know what I'm saying? A person got a right to change their mind. Like, so me looking at the Nori and Vlad situation, I feel like, I mean, Nori got the right to feel how he feel. If he feel like, nah, yeah, I did Vlad's show, but now I don't want to go on. I mean, Vlad did my show, but now I don't want to go on his show. He got the right to do that. And I felt like, you know what? Maybe he just didn't want to do it at that time. And Vlad probably didn't even have to blow the shit up because they probably could have worked the shit out. And he would have probably ended up on Vlad's show, honestly.
35:01because Vlad got relationships with everybody in this music business, right? You, me, Nori, whether he going back and forth with people sometimes, people had their disagreements. One minute you might be cool with Vlad, next minute you might not be cool with Vlad, but you can fix it, whatever the case may be, because shit don't be that deep. So what I'm saying is I felt like if Nori didn't do his show, he could have probably been like, where Nori are you going to do me like that? All right, cool. You know what I'm fucking, I ain't going to even stress it. And they could have probably kicked it later it then could have gotten Ori on the show.
35:31Because I spoke to Vlad, so I'm like, yo, man, Vlad, that shit ain't even that serious with y 'all, man. It shouldn't be that serious, I feel like. That's how I look at it, man. Just because a person do your podcast don't mean that... I mean, just because you do a person's podcast don't mean that they got to do yours.
35:45Tony Yayo:I mean, I agree with you because it's all on a person, but it's all a numbers game to me. So we all know we're making money, definitely doing what we do and doing what we love to do. But like I said, But if I can't get Mike Tyson and Kill Tony on my podcast, I'm not going to be upset and put him on blast. Rob Markman - Exactly my point though. Rob Markman - I'm definitely going to feel a way though. Like, damn, I was on they shit. Why they can't be on my shit? Rob Markman - But sometime it be timing. We never know. Rob Markman - No, timing definitely. Rob Markman - You never know what the person going through, shit like that.
36:15Sometimes it be timing. Rob Markman - You know what I mean?
36:17Tony Yayo:Rob Markman - But if he seen Nori going on the whole press run in New York City, like he said, Little Will podcast, but he apologized, shout out to Vlad, right? He apologized to murder. Little podcast, right? If you know he's upset, like, yo, he's doing, he look at it like, yo, this nigga's doing my, how you say it? Predecessor, right? That's how they say it? Predecessor, a nigga that learned from me. He's doing his show. He's not doing my show. I'm Vlad TV. That's ego. Know what I'm saying? I ain't gonna lie. Nigga, that's ego because he feels like he's one of them in the culture and they had a relationship.
36:51Tony Yayo:Hopefully they work it out. I know what you said. Everything ain't gonna be on your time, though. Exactly. You know what I'm saying? He could've just probably chill. Like, you know what? All right, cool, man. Let me just say, damn, I was fucked up. I could've X, Y, and Z. Damn, Norio, I put all this, I spent this money setting this shit up. I thought you was gonna really pull up. Fuck, man. All right, cool. I guess I'll catch you next time. Breaking news, breaking news. Breaking news, breaking news. Vlad has basically come back at Nori. Oh, man. And he's making some crazy allegations. Oh, man.
37:18What'd he say to all them legends? He said, Noriega has been rocking with Diddy for quite some time. He actually bought him a Maybach. And he said, don't be surprised if you see Norie with some pictures that come out with him oiled up. Pause. Pause, pause, pause, pause, pause.
37:36Tony Yayo:Pause, pause, pause. So Vlad is exceuating if Diddy buy you a gift, it's suspect. Facts. Pause. Shout to Noriega, yes, that's a pause. Rob Markman - Do y 'all think he went too far? Rob Markman - Who, Vlad? Rob Markman - Did Vlad go too far? Rob Markman - I mean, he said, I mean, Nori said he'll bend him over a pause. So I feel like that's not really going too far. It's war. It is what it is. Rob Markman - War of the words. Rob Markman - So what you think, Murda? Rob Markman - Me personally, I think Vlad did take it a little bit too far, right? But when you disrespect somebody, you got to, I guess, expect for them to come back and disrespect you, right?
38:14But I think Vlad did take it a little bit too far. Like I said from the beginning, I think Vlad shouldn't even put the business out there in the street for it to even get this far, period. You know what I'm saying? But I don't know. I guess Vlad did feel disrespected. I think he did take it a little bit too far. I think he took it over somebody not coming to the podcast and stuff like that. I think they're a little better than that for the things I heard Vlad say. I think they could have resolved that behind the scenes instead of him going that crazy. So in my opinion, I think Vlad did take it too far.
38:45Rob Markman And staying on the music, man, we gotta get into this one. Fat Joe releases a new album, Organized Rhyme.
38:51Tony Yayo:Rob Markman Show to Fat Joe the volume. Joe and Jay the show the volume. Rob Markman You know the vibes. Rich player, what up, dawg? Rob Markman I can't lie, Kool and Dre definitely got some ill production on there. The bars is crazy. You know, when I listen to that album, you got Pusha T on there. Who else is on there? Rob Markman Yeah, yeah, it's a 12-track album, consistent of Jay the Kiss, Remy Ma, Pusha T. Young Miami, Young Miami, Young Miami on there. CeeLo Green, Stove Guard Cooks, Cool and Dre, and Mike Dean. One thing about Fat Joe we could give him is he know how to make a fucking hit record, and he has worldwide hits.
39:29Tony Yayo:I just seen Shout to Rich play. I just seen Romania, sold out stadium. Definitely, man. They was doing their thing, man. One of them festivals. Y 'all was riding around bumping the album, man. The shit is fire, man. I ain't going to go on. Organized rhyme. Y 'all make sure y 'all go cop that. Fat Joe will be on the show soon. So shout out to Joe and Jada. Jada on the show too. You know, Organized Rhyme. I fuck with it though. Rob Markman Yeah. Rob Markman I definitely got it the other day. They got some crazy tracks. I always been, even when we had B for like Khaled and them, like I always was a fan of Cool and Dre.
39:57Tony Yayo:Know what I'm saying? They made Hate It or Love It. That's like one of the biggest records in the G-n-a roster. So I mean, they're doing this whole album. And the records I heard so far, the Aroma, the record with Pushy T, you know, Funky Fresh with young Miami. All them beats is hitting and Fat Joe's definitely doing his thing. He know how to make a record. Know how to make a hit. So shout out to the whole Terrence Squad. Yeah, it's rich player. You know the vibes. Didn't catch the latest Roland Martin Unfiltered podcast? Advocate Elizabeth Smart. I still feel that drive that I can still make a difference, so I'm going to keep going.
41:51Celebrity chef Carla Hall. Was that scary to walk away from such a stable career after just two years? No. I was more afraid of being unhappy than I was broke in a dead-end job that I didn't enjoy. And feminist legend Gloria Steinem. All of us were trying to express women's real lives. We need a meeting place of our own. And if I can contribute to that, I'd like to maintain that and leave this house for that purpose. 43:51Like, hey, buddy, yeah, you, Adam? Come on. And one of my favorite segments we do is called Situational Awareness, where Bobby and I give each other real-life situations and figure out what we'd actually do. You're in training camp, and the rookie quarterback has one good throwing session in front of the media. Suddenly, everybody online says he should start over you week one. How do you handle this? You just go back out to practice the next day and wait for him to mess up. Listen to Lots to Say with Bobby Bones and Matt Castle on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
44:24Yeah, so speaking of Fat Joe, man, he's been making the headlines quite a bit, man, because when's the last time you guys been to Summer Jam? Because Fat Joe calls the latest Summer Jam a shit show. While speaking with Jaden Kiss and Busta Rounds, Fat Joe compared the latest Hot 97 Summer Jam to a circus and called the event a shit show.
44:44Tony Yayo:Damn. Damn. For me, I know me getting out of jail and the free A-O shit, and we came out on them ATVs for Summer Jam, and that was like a Summer Jam of me getting out of jail. I mean, nothing surpasses those feelings. When Jay-Z and Nas was beefing, those was their old summer jams.
45:06Tony Yayo:Biggie performing at summer jam. I mean, I don't know. What you think, Mercer? I feel like the luster is not the same to me. You know what I'm saying? I'm going to keep it real. I love Hot 97. I love what they're doing over there. But I mean, the old summer jams compared to now, not the same. A little dry. Yeah. Yeah, times changed a little bit, man. I think they definitely changed over there. I actually seen Flex post up what Fat Joe said and say he respects everybody opinion. And I think he, I think Flex see it too. I think they know it over there. Like the whole shit changed. Of course, this don't feel like when Jay-Z brought out Michael Jackson, rest in peace.
45:46And Summer Jam ain't feel like that in a long time. You know, so there's some things that got to get worked on.
45:52Tony Yayo:And I agree with you. And I think this is what it is too, Murda. like when you got artists like 41, Al B. Al and all these younger artists coming, right? They only getting two tickets because they worried about entourage clashing and shit like that. So for the younger generation, yes, it's for them. Oh shit, I 97, we heard about this since we was kids, right? They amped up. But if you only get two tickets, imagine me and you performing at Summer Gym and like, yo, we new artists. Yo, y 'all only could get two tickets. What? Like, our whole team want to go. Our whole team is let down. They putting their heads down like, yo, we can't go?
46:28Tony Yayo:What the fuck? They ain't got tickets for you? This your big moment with these artists, 41. I heard you heard Al B. Al say, yo, they only give you two tickets to fuck two people? I only can bring two people when I got 10 of my niggas that's hyped for me to perform. So I think that's what takes the luster from it away from the two - Rob Markman 1 - I mean, you know, it just went from being in, you got to remember, used to being giant stadium, talking about holding about 60 ,000 people, something like that. And now the venues change. It's about they doing it in arenas that hold probably, I mean, venues that hold about maybe 17, 18 ,000, something like that, 20 ,000.
47:06So it's just different. Like, you know, times change. It ain't what it used to be like that, man. And I don't know. It's just things they got to work on. Where is it?
47:15Tony Yayo:In Westchester, New Jersey? That's where they do Summer Jam at, right? And that's the only black event they do out there, right? That's the biggest black event you would say out there they do? I mean, I don't know. I think Summer Jam is kind of a headache probably for that town. Because I heard they're not used to events like that. Where they used to having that? They're not used to events like that. And you got a lot of traffic. You got people wilding. people, you know what I'm saying? People coming through there, so we don't know the reason of it, but when you think of Summer Jam, you thinking Jay-Z, you thinking Biggie, you thinking 50, you thinking fucking Mobb T, you know what I'm saying?
48:01Tony Yayo:I don't know. Back then, it was just like... Well, Fat Joe chalks it up to too many young acts not actually putting in enough work as far as performance and making these big stages. So he's saying that's what's watering it down. Just because you're a name don't mean you should probably actually be on that stage. You ain't putting no work yet. You ain't putting no performance work. So they just throwing anybody that's on there that has a song, basically. Like, you know what I'm saying? Oh, yeah, put them on there. Gotcha. Have we seen this performance? Have we seen anything from this guy? So I can kind of get what Fat Joe's coming from.
48:34I understand that, too. Unproven are getting big stages. Because you have a hot song. But there's nothing wrong with giving the up-and-coming artists they shot to. Exactly. So you can't blame that on the young artists. I feel like I thought just the whole setup got to just be put together a little bit better.
48:51Tony Yayo:Put it like this. We can't complain about the years of feeling like, yo, we, we, we, all the artists come in town, they put them on the bill. They never put New York niggas on the bill. Because when you know you go out of town, they going to put they people on the bill. So now it's kind of fucked up because now we're putting Al B. Al on the bill. We're putting 41 on the bill. We're putting Breanne on the bill. We putting all these new artists from New York City, New Jersey, you know, on the bill, and we saying the shitty? I don't want to take away from their moment and say that. I could just say back in the days, it had more of a luster, but to them, it's their moment, and they feeling like, oh shit, we did Summer Gen.
49:31Facts. You know what I'm saying? Is this enough artist development?
49:34Tony Yayo:I mean, there's no such thing as artist development no more. No more. Hell no, man. You get your shit - You just got to have a record. Your record got to work. You get your shit popping. Get yourself popping on social media. You get yourself popping on social media. You know that, Murda. Everybody that was on the Summer Jam stage deserved to be there. Yeah, definitely. I'm not going to say they didn't deserve to be there. Of course they deserved to be there. And the older artists who was there too deserved to be there. I just think everything got to get set up and put together a little bit better.
49:58You just got to organize it a little bit better, man.
50:00Tony Yayo:And I think Joe has a point because you can have one hit record and Summer Jam will let you on, which is not bad. You have one. That's what counts, right? That's what you need, really. Joe was looking at it like, we need more artists probably like an A Boogie that have like catalogs of records that I know what he's saying are main events. So they both got points. Like an A Boogie do Summer Jam, it's lit. You know what I mean? Because he's not on an opening stage. He's going to be, he could be on a big stage because he has a catalog. Certain artists have the catalog to do that. So I understand what he's saying.
50:32Tony Yayo:A lot of artists probably need to work up their catalog to make it a bigger event and make New York City look big as a whole. So it goes both ways. But I wouldn't want to shit on a new artist moment. Like the King B-Mos. Because I remember my first time performing at Summer Gym, it felt good. For sure. Shit, man. So, man, yeah. But did they give you, did you have, how many niggas you had with you? You had the whole gang with you? We had, we screwed up. Well, now imagine only getting two tickets. You know, we wasn't going for that. That's going lower the morale right there, bro. That's bullshit.
51:03We had the crew.
51:04Tony Yayo:Only getting two tickets? Get the fuck out of here, bro. I did Summer Gym a couple times, man. It was dope, man. And you know, this is New York. Shout out to the whole Hot 97 and Summer Gym, man. Word, shout out to Hot 97. It's historical, you know what I'm saying? Like, we love Hot 97. We love 105. We radio something out of our - But they do got to bring something back. Something got to get back. It's missing something. I agree with that. It's missing something. Something is missing, man. Fat Joe calls it a shit show.
51:32And sports. Let's get to sports real quick. Okay. Let's break this down. Now, this one is wild, y 'all. Like, I ain't gonna hold you. This one is super wild. Okay. Fake 49ers player accused of scamming women out of$1.3 million. Oh, yeah. Federal prosecutors allege that Dijon Love posed as a San Francisco 49ers player and wealthy real estate investor while meeting women through dating apps. I blame Young Miami. She said, where all the scamming niggas at? Well, there you go. Where all the scamming niggas at? Well, there you go right there. nigga, he played for the 49ers. Rob Markman, Don't be mad now.
52:08Don't be mad. Rob Markman, He played for the 49ers.
52:09Tony Yayo:Rob Markman, But my whole thing is, how did the women believe him? They can't be from New York. Because the way he was working out, when he was doing it, he didn't look professional at all. He had his helmet on and a drop top, took his helmet off in the drop top. Rob Markman, And the way he was showing all his sneakers and clothes and the car keys. Like who was going for that shit? Rob Markman, What do you think is more funny? Rob Markman, And why y 'all was sending him money? I don't get it. So when they, when he say, when they scammed him and this nigga acting like he rich and He the shit and he playing for the Niners and his family on this percentage of the world and this, that and the third.
52:39How did it get to them sending him money? What happened is he had an accomplice, right? Love alleged accomplice Taylor Jamie Chan reportedly created fake investment accounts with Chan posing as a financial advisor to convince victims that the opportunities were legitimate. Yeah, authorities identified 26 alleged victims who collectively sent approximately 1.3 million, but the FBI believes there may be additional victims. Both men face -
53:08Tony Yayo:I'll tell you this. None of them girls - Wire fraud charges. None of them girls are from New York, bro. Spin that shit. No girl from - Spin that shit. No girl after seeing him - Look, after seeing him work out and doing that stupid ass workout and wearing a helmet and a drop top, no girl in New York City. or major city, Detroit, D.C., I don't think they falling for that shit. It got to be you getting girls from small towns that don't know no better. I think they said most of the girls was from Ohio or something, right? Shout to Ohio. Yeah, most of them was from Ohio. Because that man workout was the crack up.
53:39Tony Yayo:And shout to all the memes out there. Make sure on this episode you put the memes in the pictures up there. I'm seeing a lot of people wearing the football jerseys, saying they play for the Cowboys, the Giants now, the Jets. Ladies in Ohio, we need y 'all to do better. We need y 'all to do better, ladies in Ohio. Yes, man, because this is crazy. Come on, ladies. This got to be the fakest football player we ever seen in our life. I got four for that. The chain on, the helmet, and the drop top? Get the fuck out of it. Let me ask you this. How the fuck you four for that? Let me ask you this, though.
54:07How was he able to even do this for four years straight? He's doing it with people that he - Oh, it been that long? Four years straight he was doing this without being exposed. God damn it.
54:17Tony Yayo:The money he was getting from people, he's making himself look good, buying the chain, the drop top. He's wearing the helmet. He's really selling them the dream. Some people are good liars. And one thing we could give him is he is a good liar. That's fucked up. We call him, what we call it, Cat Master Flex. Cat Master Flex. That's Cat Master Flex right there. One thing we could say is he's a good liar, but now the feds got him, bro. Damn. Mm-mm-mm. Nasty. Young Miami, I'm blaming you, man. You asked where the scamming niggas at, well, there you go. Let me ask you this real quick. So hasn't it been the other way around for so long?
54:51Like, women that have been bent for so long now, you got a man getting... I mean, are you really bad? Like, I'm just being honest. Yo, and it's so stupid. You got for years. Yo, hold on. Okay, as far as when it comes to the City Boys, are we up? That's why this is shocking. City Boys is up. But real niggas look at homie as a bozo. But the City Boys is up. You know what I mean?
55:15Tony Yayo:City Boys are not up because he's in the feds, bro. He got caught. City Boys would have been up if he got away with it, bro. Nah. He's in the feds right now. He got jammed up. I think with social media now, niggas just get carried away and really believe in the lie. Like they believe, you know how they say you lie so much you really believe the lie? Like you really believe in that shit. Like once you see, you really think the nigga thought he was really a fucking 49er, bro. That's a fact, man. Really think about it. The helmet on and the drop top, the chain, the stupid workout. Please put the workout video.
55:49Yeah, yeah.
55:49Tony Yayo:Stupid workout with his leg. He didn't even look like he knew what he was doing, bro. Bozo.com, man. Keep the helmet with him, though. And that nigga did not look like a quarterback, a lineman. That nigga look like a kicker or some shit. Wide receiver. He like a wide receiver. Man, that nigga look like a kicker, man. It's The Real Report show. Make sure y 'all like, share, and subscribe. And man, that nigga on a 49ers, that fake 49ers nigga, look like a fucking kicker. But before we do get out of here, I do want to say rest in peace to the actor, man, Samuel Will Monroe Jr. You know, he played in one of my favorite movies.
56:19He's Minister Society and all that. He also was in Set It Off and all that. You know, Tales from the Hood and all that. Don't be a minister. So definitely one of our legends, our dope black actors. I definitely want to say rest in peace to him. Rest in peace. You know the vibes. Real report.
56:45All of that? Yes. It's real. This is a wholesale attack. It is targeting black people in every federal agency. It's raw. White folks have never allowed that reckoning to last more than a decade.
